Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more Brownback, the better. Come on. Brownback Morning's Power 106. Yeah. Good morning. Good morning. It is Thursday, May 8th. Wow.
Starting point is 00:00:15 The week is flying. No, literally. It's already May 8th. Yeah, he just said the date. You know what? It's also the 8th of May. Two days till Mexican Mother's Day or Latino Mother's Day? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Latin American Mother's Day. Let's start next week. No. No. How many, like, flowers do you buy? I bought my mom flowers. That's it. Just one?
Starting point is 00:00:40 Yeah, just my mom flowers. Bro, I got to get like six. I got to get like six pairs of flowers. What did you? Oh, yeah. Oh, like to all of your sister. Yeah, like, okay, my girl, first of all, you know, my mom, my mother-in-law. Do you girls a mom?
Starting point is 00:00:55 Yeah, what do you mean? Wow. I just found that out. I didn't know that. Really? What? Greg, you didn't know that? talked about this so many times. We've talked about that.
Starting point is 00:01:01 We have. Pay attention to Brownback mornings on Power 10 every day from 5 to 10. I don't know you're growing a kid. Yeah. Brooklyn, right? Yeah, a little Brooklyn. Oh, maybe I can't confuse because of Brooklyn, Letty, Letty, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Learn something new every day. So I got to get her flowers. It's a guy. Hey, welcome to the broadband morning. Tap bit. Yeah, welcome. I'm happy. I'm happy to get my grandma flowers.
Starting point is 00:01:29 I got to get my grandma flowers. Yeah, it's like four or five. Yeah, it's going to add up. See, at least you still have a big grandma. I like that. I don't have to give anyone flowers. Why not? Because my mom sold flowers are like almost my whole life growing up.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Yeah. So they lost value for our family. Oh, so they mean nothing? They mean nothing to your family. What do you get like? That's sad. Because then it's like, everyone thinks it's free. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:50 It's like, bro, I still paid a little bit. Discount. Yeah, you still have the discount? Yeah, do you still get the, you still get the hook? Yeah, but you don't want to drive that far. Where is it? Conoco Park? That sounds far
Starting point is 00:02:01 I'm not that far right now I'm telling you I have to buy wholesale Oh you do you have a lot to buy Yeah We'll talk off line we'll talk about All right let's get you Don't you know I'm local What's up?
Starting point is 00:02:14 This is Be Real from Cypress Hill Where are you from Esse? Don't you know I'm local? Hello This is Maximo covering for Letty This is Maximo I'm so confused right now Letting the people know what I'm doing
Starting point is 00:02:27 Letty's voice dropped However, I am going to give you guys an update on the world famous Eagles, Sunny and Gizmo. If you're not familiar with Sunny and Gizmo, they actually were going viral because they were born nine weeks ago, and they were actually live streamed. They're still everyday live streamed. And they've been pushed out where, like, nature enthusiasts and animal enthusiasts have been able to watch the process of them actually being born, like hatching. and growing up. So it's like the Truman show for Eagles. It really is.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Yeah. Yeah. And even like the naming process, it was like, I think school submitted names. It's like a whole community thing. And they're extremely famous. I think they're two out of three. Right, Angie? Yeah, one of them passed away during the winter.
Starting point is 00:03:17 That's sad. It's crazy because you might have not even noticed, but like it was all over the news. There was like links going around and you literally click it and you could just watch them. Just the Eagles? Yes. That's probably more interesting than actual Philadelphia Eagles, though. Hey, they won't the Super Bowl. I don't know about that one.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Eagles on live stream. But yeah, actually, it's very entertaining. When they were eggs still, I was watching it. I would just watch the eggs and then like the mom and like that hang out. Oh, I'm watching them right now. They're watching it right now. Yeah, just pulled them up. It's live right now?
Starting point is 00:03:50 It's live. What did you type of live watching? Just put Eagles live stream. Yeah, it's live 24-7. It's just Jailen Hertz. Is that your dream? No, it's that. Umberto's dream.
Starting point is 00:04:03 That's Umberto's dream. But yeah, the eagles are now, the eglitz are now nine weeks old. Okay. And they're a few weeks away from being able to fly. It's intense. It's crazy because people have legit followed them every day and are in like the live stream chat. Yeah. They're just involved with their lives.
Starting point is 00:04:24 24-7. That's pretty cool. Like live cam. Do you feel like when. Eagles fly, it's like the equivalent of us getting our driver's license? Probably. Yeah. Well, no, because they get kicked out and then they're off to their own.
Starting point is 00:04:36 Yeah. There is 24,000 people. When you got your license, you were like out and about? I turned 18 and shortly thereafter got somebody pregnant. You were able to, oh, you flew. Oh, yeah. You definitely did. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Because we don't off it in my room. I got my license and I got in a car accident the same day. What? Yeah. So you broke a wing. Yeah, I broke a wing. Fly, Greg, fly. Oh no, oh no, no, Greg.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Wait, Greg, how did you get an accident? I re-rided some girl. You did? Oh, it was your fault. Is that how she got pregnant? No, no, no, no, no, no. There's 24,000 people watching the stream right now. I'm saying, right now.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Because I do see it, like, a lot on social media, and I never understood why, like, people love them so much. So I thought I'm like, oh, maybe because they're endangered, but I just checked. And they've been like Eagles itself, like they've been out of a extinction. Extinction since 2007. And the stream started in September 15th, 2021.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Yeah, it's 24 hours. Yeah. I need that camera in my life. People literally watched the, them lay the eggs, take care of the eggs, and then the eggs hatch. So like if you watch that whole process, you know Sunny and Gizmo. Like that's like your, your niece and nephew. I'm getting attached to them already.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Like, I think I'm going to go home and put them on the TV as, like, wallpaper. I think that's cute, too. They're cute, yeah. Honestly, there's a day I spent, like, three hours with it as, like, background noise, and it's just entertaining to watch, like, Eagles, like, move around, like, fly away from back. Yeah, I think it's soothing. It's just soothing. It really is.
Starting point is 00:06:14 When the, when the Eagles fly, and, you know, they get their flyers license, I'm probably going to cry, bro. I'm just thinking about it right now. It's like, oh, they just grow so fast, bro. It's a moment in life. It's a moment in life But yeah We'll post a little clip on Brownback Mornings 106
Starting point is 00:06:33 But yes you can see Sunny and Gizmo keep growing They're a few weeks away from getting their driver's license Let's go And we'll keep you updated All right, thank you Maxie We have nothing else better to do than is watch Eagles Stand there's yeah Bro, it's cool
Starting point is 00:06:48 Look you see like the sun in my eye I'm like whoa, it's a little early right now It's a little bright right now Exactly All right, thank you, Maximo. Greg, what do we got coming up next in scrolling? Yes, and scrolling. You know what?
Starting point is 00:07:00 I never thought I'd see this as a fashion statement. And it's the worst thing I've seen in my life. And I hope to never see anybody in this room wearing this. And I'm going to tell you what it is next. Fashion? I hope this is not about the furry slides again. No, not the furry slides again. This is even worse than that.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Oh, worse than that. Scrolling with the homies. All right, I got a question for the room. Gregory. Question for the room. What is one fashion statement you guys hated, like a trend, actually, a fashion trend that people have worn and you've hated because I want to compare it to what people are wearing now as a new trend. Tom's. When people wore Tom's.
Starting point is 00:07:38 That is actually a lot. Oh, you're right. Yeah. Tom's a no socks. And then they made your feet smell. I never thought of it. And they weren't even for a good cause. That was all bull crap.
Starting point is 00:07:48 I was what I say. Was it for good cause? Supposedly, like you buy a pair and then they give it to. They plant a tree, isn't it? No, they gave a pair. A pair of shoes. I never see someone with three times. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Exactly. Okay, so tops for Vic, Angie? I can't think of rent right now. No? No. You don't have one? No, I can't. Didn't you hate when people were?
Starting point is 00:08:07 Oh, you know what? Okay, this is not fashion, but this is more like makeup. When it was like heavy eye makeup and then your lips were nude. So it's like you had no lips. Oh, I get what you're saying. Like it was in 2009. I get what you're saying. Do you like the nude eyebrows?
Starting point is 00:08:22 I haven't seen those. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. blonde I don't think that was actually a
Starting point is 00:08:26 If people are doing it now Is it new or bleach Is that what you don't like right now Maximo? You know one thing I really dislike It's platform crocs What's why with those?
Starting point is 00:08:36 Platform I don't have prox With platform Yeah They're pretty cool What? Crops with a platform Yeah
Starting point is 00:08:43 A lot of girls run Pretty cool A lot of girls can rock them I haven't seen them Yeah I personally would Rock them But I know a lot of girls
Starting point is 00:08:50 That would If you rock them in free time It's okay I don't wear those crugs. Oh, they're ugly. They're cool. I dislike those things. If you don't like those?
Starting point is 00:09:00 Greg is about to share something he hates even more than all of that. What is it? People are wearing soccer cleats in public. They're calling it a boot-only summer, and they're wearing legit soccer cleats. Like the one with the plastic spikes in the bottom of them. What? And they're wearing them as a fashion statement right now. They're not wearing at least like turf?
Starting point is 00:09:20 No, I don't know how soccer cleats work. I think they're universal, right? They don't have metal ones? There's like three different kinds, right? There's the regular cleats with the spikes for the grass. But that doesn't have metal, right? Some of them could have a metal. Do you have metal in them?
Starting point is 00:09:33 They could. Damn. But then there's like the turf, which is like a flat shoe. Not those. So they're wearing actual soccer cleats. That have the spikes with their plastic spikes. They're not the metal. And they're wearing them in public.
Starting point is 00:09:47 And that's the newest trend that's happening right now. Someone's going to just slip. They're not meant to be. walking on like all terrain. It's ugly. It's ugly and I don't like it at all. They might be ready for a soccer game at any moment in life. You never know when one is going to break out.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Listen, this is reminding me of when everyone used to wear basketball shorts under their pants and you were just ready for a pickup game any moment. I still do sometimes. I'm not going to lie. I still do sometimes. You're never waiting for a ball to come down. You never.
Starting point is 00:10:15 You stay ready. You don't got to get ready. Yeah. But I don't know about this trend. Well, I like how these soccer, like I'm like Googling soccer clearing. They're pretty fire. They look nice. Yeah, don't get me wrong.
Starting point is 00:10:25 Soccer cleats are dope. But I get what you're saying. Like, to me, what would annoy me the most is that if I could hear the homie coming from down the block where I just hear like the, like the clack, clack, clack, clack, clack, like, you know what I'm saying? That's what would throw me off? I'd be like, like clacking over here. They'd be falling out everywhere too because they're pretty like the spikes. Yeah. They're uncomfortable to wear.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Yeah, I was going to say. If a fight ever breaks out of a bar, you just don't fight the guy with the soccer cleats. No, because that's like, no. I was thinking of you, Maximum, because I was like, now the prices of soccer cleats are to go up. Oh, no. Because of your daughter. They better not, man. Oh, yeah, they could, like, go up on.
Starting point is 00:11:02 No, this trend is on his way down. Oh, wow, they have Jordan's ones. Yeah, Jordan ones. Oh, that you like football ones. But I'm confused why they call it boots only summer. Like, they're not even boots. They call them boots. Oh, they do?
Starting point is 00:11:15 Oh, it's like slang. Yeah. Like, in soccer. Oh, okay. Check your boots. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. That's what it's like.
Starting point is 00:11:23 I better not see any of you in here wearing cleats. What are you going to do to like make sure? I'm going to throw a soccer ball in front of you to see if you're actually about it. Oh, that's a game. Stay ready. All right. Thanks, Greg. Let's get into Simper Pimp.
Starting point is 00:11:39 No shout out. No, shout out. Oh, shout out. Come on. No, it's because Greg never wants to read my shoutouts, bro. You can read Joe shout out if you want to read your shout out. He never wants to read my shout out. Read the shout out, Vic.
Starting point is 00:11:50 I'm not reading that shout out. I've been trying to get me. Shout out for weeks, bro. I can't say it. That's your job. I'm not reading that shoutout. But we do have shoutouts. Okay, fine.
Starting point is 00:12:08 I'm not reading that shout-out. But we do have shout-outs. Oh, wow. Congrats. At the parking. And that's the ambulance. Give me a ride for the low. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:18 I know. He said, I'm so proud of you my love with all you of a. have accomplished Kewit to celebrate with you this weekend. That's awesome. We got a lot of birthday shout-outs. Elsie wants to shout out her sister Liz.
Starting point is 00:12:28 It's her birthday today. Happy birthday, Liz. Happy birthday Liz! Daisy wants to give a birthday shout-out to her daughter Mia who turned seven today. Mia. Mia. Mea. Jackie wants a shout-out for her birthday, and her birthday's on the 10th.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Jackie. Oh, Monday. Sunday. Sunday. Sunday. Sunday. May 10 is on Saturday. May 11 is Sunday.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Mother's Day Sunday? Mexican Mother's Day is on Saturday. Aren't they both Saturday? No. No. May 10 is on Saturday. So that's Mexican Mother's Day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Yeah. I thought Friday was Mother's Day. I thought Sunday was Mother's Day. No, Friday. Oh my God. Look at a calendar, you guys. It's Mother's Day weekend. How about that?
Starting point is 00:13:07 Yeah, let me go. Mother's Day weekend. Exactly that. Jen wants to shout out her daughter. It's her birthday, and she's turning six years old. Cute. Alejandro wants to wish her daughter, Sophia. Happy 17th birthday.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Oh, Sophia. Carina wants to shout out her husband, Brandon. It's his 30. birthday. Randon. 30. Javi wants to shout out his wife.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Elizabeth, they recently got married and it's her birthday and she says Maximil was her favorite one. Elizabeth. You got to relax. That's kind of crazy. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:36 I'll leave her alone. Why are you sticking up her? Because. You know her? I want her to have a happy life for her husband. Oh, wow. Felice in los four.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Think of me. Oh, whoa. No. Why did you say that, Maximo? That's crazy. You want to give your shout-out? No, you don't want to read my shout-outs, so I'm not going to do it. Not doing it.
Starting point is 00:13:59 And that's all our birthday shout-outs we have. That's all our birthday shout-outs? Okay, Maximo, you got a shout-out? You got a shout-out? No, I think you didn't know. I did a lot. Yeah, I did your shout-outs. Yeah, he usually gets my shout-outs too.
Starting point is 00:14:09 He never does mine. Never. Go ahead. I keep trying. Read your shout-out. You said mena. I like when Greg does it in his voice. Do we get?
Starting point is 00:14:17 Whoa, you like that? Whoa, pause. You like his voice? Well, when he does shoutouts. Tell him something. Very talented, very talented. At what? At reading shoutouts.
Starting point is 00:14:30 That's getting a simper-pib. Simp or pimp. B-I-M-P. Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip. Whoa. That's you. Is using being a man of God when trying to date someone. one, sin prepare.
Starting point is 00:14:52 So we're going to start by having this conversation. And I'm going to show you a sports anchor who gave her opinion on it. Okay. All right. So is it sent for being a man of God or pretending to be a man of God? I mean, I think, I think that's the hardest part for people to kind of gauge if it's like a pickup line or if it actually is something that you do. I see. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Not going to lie. I've done it recently, too. Because there's a new t-shirt that I got. And on the back of it, it says, my God turns darkness into light, right? Right. And I've worn it to events, and people are like, yes, praise Jesus.
Starting point is 00:15:30 I love your shirt. Like, I even wore it to a club where you throw one's at. And one of the girls was like, I love your t-shirt. Oh my God, it means so much. She even DM me about it. She's like, I want her to tell you so bad I love your shirt. Did you get out your DM?
Starting point is 00:15:41 Yes, she got my DM. So it worked. Wow. It worked. Do I know anything about religion? No. No. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Have you ever been in terms? The last time I went to church was like long time ago. I don't know. I'm not a church guy. I'm not a religion guy, but I don't even know the shirt said this on the back. That's why. No, you know what you were doing. Yeah, you know what you were doing.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Okay, I'm going to wear it again. Okay, yeah, that is. It's definitely interesting because, I mean, I know they're, like, I don't want to take away from people who actually are, you know, religious or, you know, go to church and truly, like, try to walk in, like, faith. But there is people who take advantage of that and make that living. bad. I'm just thinking of Greg, like, them trying to recite lines with him.
Starting point is 00:16:23 That's what happened at a concert. I was like, dude, Matthew 34, 21. And then he's like, yes. That's my favorite one. I was in line and the lady was like, oh my God, yes, it's a matter of all. Like, starting, like, saying all this religious stuff. And I was like, give me my drink. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I love it. Where did you get it? And I was like, yeah, I don't even know. That's funny. Well, we have sports anchor Joy Taylor. Joy Taylor. I mean, it's funny that she's the one saying it. Ahuga.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Because Joy Taylor recently had issues in the workplace. In the workplace. Having too many suitors in one place. What? I guess you could say? She was moving up in the pay scale using us a gift she had. But here is her opinion on it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:17 I'm less and less interested in religious men, if I'm being honest with you. I told Paul this the other day. I don't know. You hit me with the man of God thing. If you're leading, I don't know, I've just had some, I've had some negative, I've had some negative experiences with people that lead with their religion. There it is, Greg. So it's like, see what you're doing. So people are, it's like anything like, you know, if somebody sees a girl with a lobooboo and they're like, oh, wow, you have a lobooboo.
Starting point is 00:17:46 they'll be like kind of fake interested and then even go home and do some research and like oh i heard about this lububu and it's like with the intent to like strike up a conversation and show some relatability right so i guess a lot of people that have approached her for whatever reason have been like oh man like you know i'm just really into god right now right and she probably was like falling for it like oh this is the man of my dreams i wanted you know even though she was but like um but like she was but like it's like she probably fell for that, you know, plenty of times. And now she's salty on the whole thing. And now if anybody says like, you know, I'm just really
Starting point is 00:18:22 into church, she's like, yeah, right, buddy, because of her past experiences. I want to say that too. Do you think it's because of what she's done? All these dudes are like, oh, I'm a man of God. I don't believe in all of that. Maybe, I mean, maybe she shows, like, her faith on her sleeve or something like that. You know, or maybe she says she's very religious.
Starting point is 00:18:38 No, she says she wasn't very religious. So maybe, but maybe people think that works. You know what I'm saying? Greg is saying that it worked. It worked for me. So I think it's pretty pimp on my side, but for her. I mean, I'm not going to lie. I knew people that would actually, you know, go to, like, church specifically to try to, like, pick up on girls.
Starting point is 00:18:55 No way. Yeah. I've heard that before. I heard that before. Yeah. No way. Yeah. To pick up on girls.
Starting point is 00:19:00 This is not an idea, bro. Yeah, they would do that. He's over here in a drink. Does he need to do that? Talk about it. No, he would literally go on Sundays. Like, oh, crudo. And he would just go.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Yeah. And he would just go to check out some of the girls. No way. He's like, no, those are wife. materials. That's what he was saying. Those are the friciest ones probably. I don't know, but that's what he would say.
Starting point is 00:19:20 So, like, what would he do that? He would actually, like, show up and, like, be a part of mass or he would just circle the parking lot. Oh, no, no. He would go inside. He would do, like, he would pray and all that stuff, you know? But I'll do. I mean, you can't judge it.
Starting point is 00:19:33 Yeah, I mean, he would actually go. Yeah, he would still go. To me, it's more like, I don't know, predatory is the word. It's a little strong, but like, like, circling the block, you know what I'm saying? To be like, like, with up with the church girls. You know what I'm crazy? talking about like parking lot pimping yeah exactly yeah that would be wrong yeah that'd be I even think who would do that I just couldn't you what you're talking about yeah from experience
Starting point is 00:19:56 that's why you're saying it I heard about it in a music video all right next what how many times did it what you parking lot pimped at the church as a man of God I think it sucks though it takes away from people who actually like really feel like this yeah like they're trying to They present themselves like, yo, like I'm legit trying to be a good person. Like, this is the actual real me. And then they're like, yeah, whatever. I know people like you, aka the guy sitting next to me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:25 How many times have you seen somebody's Instagram story where they're out the night before getting turned and then the next morning? I've done that before. Don't judge me. They're at church. Me. You? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:34 They're not a man of God. I'm not. I'm a woman. My mom's always thing like in my early 20 is if I wanted to go out because, you know, Mexican moms, you have to ask for permission. At what age? At 20, 21, 22. She would tell me like, if you're going to go out and you can stay out, she's like, the next day I don't care if you come home drunk or whatever, she's like, you're waking up for church.
Starting point is 00:20:56 So I would go a lot of times to church. Just like you're right next to your cousin? There's nothing wrong with that. Yeah. As long as you make it. Yeah. I still win. No one is perfect in church.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Yeah. That's the problem. It's a room full of sinners. So then I can walk around with my shirt then and be perfectly fine and say that I'm a church guy. But you're not. It wouldn't work if you actually went to church. Yeah, I would go to church. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:23 I feel like it works, so I'm going to keep doing it. Bro. That's the same. You're ruining it. It's not a sin. You're ruining everybody's chances with Joy Taylor. You understand that? I'm not going to meet her and I'm wearing this shirt specifically.
Starting point is 00:21:36 It's not going to work. It's not going to work. So you're asking if it's simp. of men to lead with, like, saying that they're man of God or not. It's pimp, but, like, not in a good way. It's like pimping religion. That's a sin. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:21:53 You see, Pimp of religion? Pimp in religion? God's name. In the vein. Pimp of religion. Sounds like a two short album. Like, three six, mafia.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I'm pimping up in church. All right. Well, I guess it's a sin. Yeah. Sin, sin, sin, sin. See this. You need a homie. You need a homie or need some hell.
Starting point is 00:22:13 We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie helpline. Crystal needs our help. Crystal. Crystal sent us a DM. She kept it kind of short.
Starting point is 00:22:27 All right. She said, hey guys, I have a story for homie helpline. It goes like this. My man used to hook up with this girl at his workplace. Okay. And we had a whole situation involving her where I was even going to break up with him. now my best friend who has been my best friend for a few years is going out with her and I'm trying so hard to be nice and supportive but it's weird and my man is mad I didn't say anything to my best
Starting point is 00:22:56 friend but what am I supposed to say help me out brown bag okay this is a lot sounds like it's a lot in a little it's like a square of them four a square instead of a triangle yeah instead of a Triangle, it's a square. It's a square. So it's the girl, her man. Yeah, it's Crystal and her man. The best friend and then the girl that they hooked up with. Well, the girl that wants, wait, what?
Starting point is 00:23:21 The co-worker. The co-worker that her man hooked up with. And then the best friend now wants the sloppy seconds of the man. That the best friend doesn't know. He might know. I don't think so. So pretty much the best friend technically has kissed all of them. The.
Starting point is 00:23:39 Yeah. The coworker is active, all right? Yeah, Crystal's man's co-worker is active. And Crystal's man is mad that Crystal didn't say anything to the best friend. Yeah, like, stop it. Is he mad or, like, jealous? Well, it's because he's getting. Probably jealous.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Right? That's what I'm thinking. Like, maybe he's jealous. Probably doesn't want her around either. Yeah, I'll just say that. He doesn't want her around because from what it seems, obviously he hooked up with the coworker when, like, he cheated on his girl with her with the coworker. Mm-hmm. 50 50
Starting point is 00:24:11 No because he said And we had a whole situation Involving her where I was gonna break up with him Oh okay miss that part Most yeah Most likely He was hooking He was cheating on his girl with the co-worker
Starting point is 00:24:23 So aside from all the drama They dealt with Between them Yeah Now the best friend is Her best friend is dating It's either cheating or like they hooked up before And then they still kind of like flirt with each other
Starting point is 00:24:36 And stuff like that And they still kind of Oh yeah Hang out maybe maybe but more than likely he probably cheated on her in the work yeah I mean I would like to know yeah just have a cheating why not just ask more cheating I guess there is a possibility that they hooked up in the past and then the the girl found out and then it was drama because she was around what yeah what I don't
Starting point is 00:24:56 get is usually like if a girl finds another girl is like with her man or whatever that girl's instantly like an op for life like you're my enemy like I hate you now yeah you know I'm going to make a fake business profile and like a lash page a lash page and then I'm gonna like troll you and send you DMs and like all this stuff for us for your life right but yeah you know a lot hey girl you just want a free trip on uh nails boutique by meet me yeah by angie you go check your cars keyed yeah yeah me in this dark alley in san anna oh bet i'm there free yeah it's free so when that happens right but no it's like you know usually girls are like i hate that beat
Starting point is 00:25:39 You know? Yeah, for life. Right? So it's confusing to me how Crystal didn't take that approach and it's just like trying to be supportive for her best friend and be like, oh, it's okay. Like you can date her. It's everything's fine. Like that's in the past.
Starting point is 00:25:53 Like I feel like that's whack of Crystal to even do. Like she should have shut that down right away like, oh, are you my best friend? That's my op. You cannot hook up with her. Yeah. That's how those usually are. You're right. And if that's her best friend, then Crystal must have already told the best friend.
Starting point is 00:26:09 what happened. Yeah. So Crystal could have easily been like, remember that girl that I was telling you that so and so hooked up with, that's the girl. That's my enemy. Because if that's the case,
Starting point is 00:26:18 Crystal's best friend is not her friend. Well, I mean, I'm, you know what I'm, like to know. That's pretty fake of the best friend. Well,
Starting point is 00:26:25 no, because Crystal hasn't told the best friend. Yeah, but I would like to know, okay, obviously if Crystal has told the best friend the situation in general. Oh, yeah. And if she has,
Starting point is 00:26:34 did she let her know that that's the person or just kind of kept the generic? I don't think so. at work and didn't leave it like that because if the best friend knew that girl was part of that situation and then ended up dating her or getting with her
Starting point is 00:26:48 then that's like wow my head hurts yeah no I don't think Crystal told the best friend at all either but she should have that's weird to not it is supportive supportive for what? That's her best friend that is like her best friend she should know what best friend is with the enemy
Starting point is 00:27:03 like you are supposed to shut that down as soon as you know my best friend is my best my best friend is my best enemy. What's that saying? I don't know. My enemy is my best friend. Huh. Do we have her on the line?
Starting point is 00:27:16 I'm pretty sure we have around the line. I'm pretty sure we have around the line. Line, is she on? Crystal? Not yet? Not yet? No?
Starting point is 00:27:21 No? Not yet? She said, yeah. Yeah, but it's like, yeah, she, like Crystal was supposed to shut that down as soon as she found out about it. Yeah. I just have questions about the boyfriend. About the boyfriend?
Starting point is 00:27:35 Yeah. I guess he mad because Crystal didn't tell the best friend or is he jealous? It's not even about that. It's the best friend that's doing... I know, but you can't forget the guy. He's an innocent bystander. He's not an innocent bystander.
Starting point is 00:27:49 No. He's a guilty bystander. He's a guilty bystander. Trying to erase the past. We got Crystal. Crystal. Hello. What's up?
Starting point is 00:28:00 Crystal. We have millions of questions. Yeah. Good morning, Crystal. Are you just waking up? You just woke up or what? No, I was good. I'm getting ready for school right now, but
Starting point is 00:28:09 Since, okay, the message I thought it was a Friday, so, like, who's calling me so many times? And I'm trying to get scared. It's brownback, girl. Who did you think it was? Well, I don't know, because I'm from the day, so A1A. I was like, what's A1A? That's us. That's us.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Is that all the telemarketers? Not many to talk about your problems. Let's talk about him. We have so many questions, Crystal. Okay, so you had, your man used to hook up with this girl at the workplace. You said it was a whole situation. Was he, like, caught cheating, or that was. just a girl from his past?
Starting point is 00:28:41 So it was just like from the past. The whole issue was basically I had asking questions about her and he ended up lying to me. And then when, what was it? I think that same day, he ended up calling the same girl to ask her questions about it because he was like so curious as to why I was asking questions.
Starting point is 00:29:02 And then I consented him about it and when I did he was like, yeah, I did call her and I was like, okay, so show me the call because he saw it was only like, a few seconds and then he deleted the call. Oh. And I was like, well, that's even more, I says, because it's like there was nothing then.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Way turning nothing into something. Yeah. Then it was probably longer than a couple seconds. Yeah. That's my thing. Yeah. Okay, so, but they weren't caught like hooking up or anything. It was just like, oh, you, you lied about, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:31 speaking to her more than you actually do. Yeah, basically. And then so does the best, and then now the best friend, Does the best friend know That that person hooked up with your man My best friend is the one who told me everything So your best friend He started going out with the girl
Starting point is 00:29:48 And she would like bring stuff up about my boyfriend And my best friend was like I don't know if this is weird or not And then he started telling me everything Gotty got got it got to got it All right Okay so this girl's active All right
Starting point is 00:30:02 Okay so So then So wait why is your best friend Like being like this? that. Like in this situation. Yeah, like, it's like, because isn't, wouldn't you feel like that girl is like your enemy, right, in a way? Because it's like, okay, you mess around with my man and then you were talking to him behind my back and you guys worked together. That's already a lot to deal with. And your best friend knows all of that, right? Yeah, and that's what I said. And like,
Starting point is 00:30:29 when I told my older sister, my old sister was like, dude, that's weird. That's fake. Like, a good friend wouldn't really do that. Yeah. Because like, that's just like any friendship, you know, like any friendship, like that's kind of like they'll keep a train. It is. Yeah. How did your best friend meet your man's coworker? Okay, so they all work for T-Mobile, and they switch stores a lot. Like, so both my best friend and my boyfriend are assistant managers there.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Oh, so they work at the same spot. Yeah. Got it. Yeah. So they work at DIST's T-Mobile around here, like, in the bay. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. You got to be careful, yeah, because they know how to do all the tricks with the phones and stuff. And then so every time, whenever that girl was brought up,
Starting point is 00:31:15 what does your man think about it? Like, your man trips out? Like, why is your best friend doing this? Dude, every time he gets so mad. And sometimes, like, I just bring things up, like, about my best friend and the girl. And he's like, are we really on this again? And it makes me mad because it's like, no, if I want to talk about it, I'm going to talk about it. Yeah, it makes it seem like he has feelings for her still or something like that.
Starting point is 00:31:33 But why do you bring it up? Yeah, couldn't. Why do you bring it up, though? To make it mad. So you do it all purpose. You do it out of purpose. You do it out of purpose. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Crystal, so does it even bug you that your best friend and that girl are hooking up or messing around? Yeah, 100%. 100%. And like the other thing, too, is I was talking to one of my other friends who I used to work at T-Mobile. That's why I know so many T-Mobile people. Oh, okay. I was talking to one of my friends and he was, like, telling you about the girl. And it was kind of random.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Like, we just started talking about a lot of stuff. and he was like telling me how like she's hooked up with like every guy there and like um i think like the first day this other guy started and she started at the same time like within the day they were already hooking up oh damn she's mobile for sure yeah what she has a team what team mobile is this so everybody avoids it are they or does that vacations no she's not the way san Jose team mobiles san Jose i'll be there like in two weeks i think i have a show or something like that yeah you need phone service yeah i said on no way
Starting point is 00:32:35 Greg, didn't you just complain about your phone messing up? Yeah, my phone's kind of messing up right now. I think I need a new one. I don't know. Can I just work there instead? Work for the phone? It was a great T-Mobile commercial with five or no one. So if it bugs you so much, how come you don't tell your best friend?
Starting point is 00:32:52 Like, girl, you're wrong. Why are you doing this? Do you know the past that happened with my man and her, and you're messing with her now? So me and him, so I work graveyard. So I work from 10 p.m. to like 7 in the morning. What do you do? And I work at a hospital. I restock operating rooms.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Oh, nice. Yeah, so me and him, because he stays up pretty late. So me and he needs to talk on the phone, like, all night because I'm just always up and he's up. Yeah. He has a hell of a, hell of a, anytime minutes. Mm-hmm. Wait, what? He has he has hella, anytime minutes on his plan.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Oh, yeah. And then, um. And then. Yeah. Keep going to go like, Chris. Keep going to. The guys are being done. Sorry, Crystal.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Um, and then. I guess one night, like, we kind of just got into it. And like I said, I were telling him. And he was like, well, I didn't know you would feel this way. But it was kind of like weird to me because like, how would you not know, I guess? Like, it's one of those things that's kind of a given that someone's going to feel some type of way. Yeah. No, you're right.
Starting point is 00:33:49 It is. You would think that they know. Like, that's wrong. Yeah. You and your best friend, like, hang out a lot. Not all crazy. But we've been. Well, okay, so I used to work at Timber when I was 18.
Starting point is 00:34:02 I'm only 22 now. So we've been friends since. Like, I started working there and maintained their friendship throughout. Got it. How long you and your man been together? Not even that long. It's only been since, what, like, January? So, like, three months.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Three months? Fresh. Yeah. And how long were your man and that girl together? According to everybody, the last time he had her up, I don't know if they actually, like, hung out or anything, was August. And me and him started talking in September. Got it, got it.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Oh, okay, okay. That's a good timeline right there. And then your best friends started talking to her when? I want to see around the same time. What? At January? Of you? No, it was November because that's when we switched stores.
Starting point is 00:34:53 It's like a monthly plan you guys got going on here? Like a month to month? There's no long-term contract apparently. Yeah, just switch up a provider. Every other, every month. Switch your carrier. Yeah. All right, so.
Starting point is 00:35:09 It's just different services and different services. Okay, Crystal, I have another question. So have you ever hung out with, like, your best friend and that girl? No, I think I, I think I drunk called her once, so. That's the best? You drunk called her and told her what? What happened? What happened?
Starting point is 00:35:29 What happened? Don't cuss, though. Don't cuss. I didn't cuss. Well, I mean, I won't, but I didn't eat it to her. I don't know. We were just talking, and, like, I was just asking her questions about herself. And then she was just talking how, like, she, like, really loves my best friend,
Starting point is 00:35:42 and da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. And I was like, oh, oh, it's crazy. And, like, I'm not a hater. You know, like, at the end of the day, like, my best friend is my best friend. I want him to be happy, but still, like, look, here kind of, like, I'm kind of a hater in a way, but not really. You need to be more of a hater, Crystal, in my opinion. She's peaceful.
Starting point is 00:35:55 She's peaceful. No, you need to hate on this relationship more because you're trying to be supportive, but it's also, like, it's affecting you. It's affecting your relationship. You're trying to build something, and your best friend is aware of that and is like, no, I'm just talk to this girl anyway. I'm going to be honest. I don't think it's going to less because, like, what if I'm, what if I'm,
Starting point is 00:36:14 what I've been told about her, like, she would, like, you know, we talked about it. She likes to be active up. Yeah, she's like me, that. Yeah, and on top of her, too, like, you know, he's like mom's or anything, but she knows a mom and, like, I feel like, me personally, I don't really see her with her kid that much. Now we throw her a shade, huh? Yeah. That was smooth.
Starting point is 00:36:39 She's really active, but not in her parents, not in her daughter's life. Yeah, that's crazy. Hey, go buy some apple pellets. Which is, like, from what I know, her mom takes a kid, like, 8 to 4 times a week. And it's like another city. Like, it's not even in SJ or anything. Got it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:00 So you think for that reason your best friend isn't really going to vibe with that or be like a stepmom? Yeah. So you think it's not. And on top of it, she has, like, a super crazy ex. And, like, supposedly he got shit stuff like Bakerfield or something. But this guy tried coming in my best friend with a half. hammer. He messed up his car. Oh, he's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:21 He's like crazy, crazy. And like, he, like, grabbed a knife. He went into her apartment, got a knife and left it outside. Oh, that is, all right. That is another, yeah, that is, yeah, that is. She told you all this when you drunk called her? No, he told me. He told me everything. Oh. Got it.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Okay, I have a question. So, like, you're a man with your best friend's girl, right? Is there, and like, does he see her as, like, as a friend or is he, like, stay away from her? Like, how does he approach her? Okay, so at the beginning, it was very, like, after the phone call, I told them, like, you know, I really don't want you to have any contact with her because that to me super weird. And, like, I feel like, out of respect, you should just, like, drop it, like, just drop her completely block her. And he was like, oh, sometimes, like, I have to call her their stories to see what they have.
Starting point is 00:38:14 phone-wise and he was like and she told me like she wants to move up in the company and I want to help right and I'm like why are you so concerned
Starting point is 00:38:21 about her future? Yeah. She's moving up in the company. She's moving up. She's moving up. She's moving up. She wants to.
Starting point is 00:38:29 Like that's her. Like let her figure it out. Let her figure it up. And like when he are you so you want him to cut her out completely right? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:38:40 So would you ever do like a double date with your best friend? Probably. You would? Yeah, just to make everyone man Just to make everyone mad I like it
Starting point is 00:38:50 I like it I like it I like that's weird No but Crystal I don't think like your Like your best friend's gonna care I think she's gonna be happy That girl's gonna be happy
Starting point is 00:38:59 The only person that's gonna be mad It's gonna be your man Because it's already bugging you No I know they're all gonna be uncomfortable I know they're all gonna be uncomfortable And you're not Hey but you say uncomfortable
Starting point is 00:39:09 That doesn't mean they're not gonna be happy Yeah Oh my God we all get a long final Oh my God I've been waiting for this moment this whole time. I'm not going to leave off anything. You what? I'm just one of dejo of anything.
Starting point is 00:39:21 They can have fun in their own company. So you're willing to break up with your man? No key. That's okay. Yeah. But you told me what? It's still fresh. That's nothing to me.
Starting point is 00:39:36 It's so fresh. But I just think about the long term and like if there is like, okay, maybe like a double date, maybe not. right but if there's like a you know for example your birthday coming up right like why wouldn't everybody be there if that's your best well i am having like a graduation party and i told him like she's not coming and he's like yeah that's fine and he's like my best friend like he's helping me oh yeah come kind of fun of day yeah i'm done you said two weeks it's going to be in two weeks actually oh oh hey hey hey hey you're gonna get in trouble yeah you're gonna really be mad stop lurking You're not at T-Mobile.
Starting point is 00:40:18 Okay, so that graduation party's coming up and you're saying she's not allowed to come and your best friend was okay with that. Yeah, he was like, yeah, of course, like it's your dad, like anything you want. And like, it's crazy because he's helping me pay for it too. But I told them like, you're not bringing in her. He was like, yeah, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Wait, your best friend's helping you pay for your graduation party? Mm-hmm. Oh, that's so nice. That's nice, over. Okay. Yeah. It's a him. Him.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Oh, it's a guy. Your boyfriend does and trip that you have a guy best friend? Wait, so. No, because I told him, like, from the very beginning, like, what it was. Like, I told him it was nothing weird. And I, like, let him have a say to and everything, like, at the beginning. He thought it was weird that we shared locations, so he asked me to stop, so I did. And, like, now he's okay with it.
Starting point is 00:41:07 And you one sec. Don't lie. Have you ever hooked up with him? She said give me one second One second This is your show Sorry We were waiting on you
Starting point is 00:41:15 Hold on She was getting ready for school Hold on Yeah My bad, my bad What you have? You have hooked up with him? I have what?
Starting point is 00:41:24 You've hooked up with your best friend before? No Ever Ever, ever Not even like that's not even like that's Nothing You thought about it? Nothing
Starting point is 00:41:33 He thought about it? Has he thought about it? Has he ever got to a rabble? Has he ever got to a rabble? Um, he did at one point express interest, but I kind of shut it down. I was like, yeah, no, like, I'm not into you. But he's paying your party? Hmm?
Starting point is 00:41:49 But he's going to pay for your party, you said? No, he's just, he's helping that with some of it. With some of it. What about your boyfriend? Is he helping with anything? And your boyfriend's not paying $1. No, he is two. Yeah, there you go.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Oh, okay. So both of us. Girl, you got two, man? Yes. Your male best friend is paying for the party? What happened? Your man knows that your male best friend is paying for part of the party? Oh yeah, I told him from the beginning.
Starting point is 00:42:12 I told him my son to my friend told me. Has your man ever expressed like... Just who's living it up. How, you know, any jealousy towards your best friend? At the beginning, at the beginning it was very much like that. But that's why like, like I said, like I gave him that space to be like, you know, like the location thing, he didn't want that shit for a minute. Now he doesn't care because also I'm in a sorority.
Starting point is 00:42:35 So You're in a sorority? Crystal's a big deal. Why are you dealing with all this right now? You should be living in a sorority. She is. She works at a hospital. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:44 She's dead. She has drama in her life. She's entertained. Yeah. She's probably got to go. She's going to go right now. Yeah. She's got it going on.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Do your, do your man and your best friend, like, get along when you kick it, like, with them? Is that, like, awkward? Do they, are they married to share an X? Great. My mom was asking. She didn't think we won't. Cool.
Starting point is 00:43:05 I'm asked her. right now. What? Oh, we're on hold. Yeah, we're on hold again. Oh, right. Yeah, you know, we're just. Yeah, usually when we, um, when you get put on hold at T-Mobile, yeah, there's like a,
Starting point is 00:43:16 oh, there's like a little, please hold while you're next. All right. So let me, uh, let me take this chance to reset. So we're talking to Crystal. Yep. She, her man used to hook up with this girl at the workplace that they work at T-Mobile. And they had a whole situation where, you know, he said, hey, I hooked up with this girl in the past, but I don't really talk to her, but I still kind of talk to her every
Starting point is 00:43:34 once in a while. He kind of lied about the length of their conversation one time and got caught with it. Yeah. So now her best friend, this dude, is hooking up with that same girl, her op, right? And now she's trying to be supportive and stuff like that. But, you know, there's a part of her is like, I want to be more of a hater on this, but I want to be supportive, but I want to be a hater. She's kind of caught in between.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Yeah. Yeah. It doesn't know how to feel about this. And her man does not like that this girl is around. Why is she around? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:06 And she's trying to figure out what to say. The man is mad that also she didn't like kind of shut down that relationship if she had the chance to. Right. Yeah. Is Crystal still the line? She's still on the line, right? Crystal. Crystal.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Crystal. Hello, Crystal. Yeah. Okay. And you need help with what exactly? With you wanting to like what you should do with this situation. Should you come off? Or should you break up because I'll be in the bay in two weeks.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Break them up together. You break up with your man. What is it that you need help with? I think kind of all of it. Like, yeah, like, well, first of all the first part, yeah, like, should I even be with this man who lied to me? Like, even if it was like, it could have been nothing. Like, it literally could have been something so small if he didn't like, you know? Yeah, it's the fact that he's lying about it.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Yeah, and then, like, hiding everything. Like, that's weird. And then also, like, what I haven't said to my best friend, like, that's when he feels weird. And it feels like, I don't know. I don't know if the French can be the same because it's kind of like, you knew the situation that bothered me. Yeah. And like I came crying to you because you were the one telling you stuff too.
Starting point is 00:45:16 Yeah. He was your shoulder to cry. Wait, hold on. Wait, wait. Wait, wait. Wait, you cried on his shoulder? Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:45:24 He was the one that told you about the drama with that girl and your man. Yeah. He's in love with you. Oh, no. Oh, he's been. He's like. I'm sorry. He's a snake.
Starting point is 00:45:36 He's a snake. He's a snake. Yeah, that's shady. Crystal. Like, take it from the guy saying here. He's a certified player. He's certified waiting in line. Yep.
Starting point is 00:45:45 Yeah. Anyway, we need a helper though. Yeah, we need help her. And they're both paying for her graduation thing. So we need to maybe wait until after that. Crystal is dealing with all the T-Mobile final bosses. They're all hooking up with each other, including her man. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:03 So Crystal has a man used to hook up with this girl at a workplace. And, you know, they got into a situation. They said, okay, you know what, we don't talk anymore. But they actually did because her best friend, this guy best friend, actually told her. Her guy best friend is your cousin. Exactly. Damn. He said, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:46:22 Your man and this girl that I know, like they used to hook up and they still talk, right? Then some time goes by. They get over that situation. Turns out that that male best friend, is now hooking up with that same girl that her man was hooking up with. Oh, hell no. And now she doesn't know what to do. She kind of, you know, is like tired of the situation.
Starting point is 00:46:43 She wants to be supportive to her best friend in a way. She doesn't want to be a hater. But part of her is like, bro, this is a lot to deal with. And she doesn't like it. So she needs our help. She needs our help. And we got some people trying to help her. We got Julie in LBC on line one.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Julie. Julie. Yes, I can hear you more. What up, Julie? All right. You guys, I was Carlos for about a week, and my Uber's... Oh, we just told me to change the station. You're the boss in there.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Yeah, they work for you. I was like, where's the music? Can you put the radio on? No, they put like, I don't know. Yeah, it was just boring. We missed you, too. It's fine. Yeah, we missed you.
Starting point is 00:47:29 I think I missed you more. Thank you for coming back. Yeah, I miss you. You back now. Did you miss me? But I was going to say, like, I feel like this is a normal thing at these, um, phone companies. What?
Starting point is 00:47:43 What? Tell us the time about the phone companies. You've worked at a phone company before? No, but the other day, I went to go switch companies with lines. Okay. And I went into AT&T and there was like, hey, you know, I'm here to, like, switch companies. I want to upgrade and whatnot. And then he was like, oh, I don't even work here.
Starting point is 00:48:09 I'm coming from another store. I'm just for passing by. And I'm like, and then he was like, right, all right there, like, being friendly with, like, the girl that ended up helping me out. Yeah. So I'm just like, do these people are just like, you know, they just go in to the stores and just whenever stop buying and whatnot? Wow.
Starting point is 00:48:27 They're saying they're picking up an order, but they're picking up an associate. Yeah. That's your order. They're all in a family pan. Matt's this way. Oh. Oh. That's not weird.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Touching each other's reset buttons I would say She said just drop them This is Drop them both best friend And her Her boyfriend Oh
Starting point is 00:48:50 You want to double cut off Clean house Wow you want to cut off all the lines Yes Exactly Because that's just I feel like it It'll just
Starting point is 00:48:59 Cause problems in the future Like what if you know At the graduation The boyfriend And the best friend Actually you know End up not being on good terms for some sort of reason.
Starting point is 00:49:12 And it's just what it looked great for her. Julie, but the boyfriend and the best friends paying for the party. So maybe wait after. She'll have to free party. Yeah, maybe wait after. Maybe wait at the nighttime when everything's already paid for and just get down. Just get down. Get it.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Cut it. All right. Thanks, Julie. What? That's some advice right there. Get rid of everybody. Get rid of everybody. Yeah, just drop all the calls.
Starting point is 00:49:37 Clean house. Cut off all the lines. Yeah. All right. Let's go to Christina and Hacienda Heights on line three. Christina. Christina. Hi, good morning.
Starting point is 00:49:46 Right back. What's up, Christina? Why are you so giggling? What's so funny? We want to laugh. Can you hear me? Yeah, we can hear you. Yeah, what's so funny?
Starting point is 00:49:55 I think, I just think it's funny. I feel like her man and her best friend both have interest for her. Yep. That's what I'm thinking too. And the other girl. And I feel like there might be, maybe. even more like more history with um between the best friend and her mat like what i feel like they're after the same girls or maybe they're like rivalida i don't see like maybe like ego
Starting point is 00:50:23 oh okay okay okay okay okay so they're going yeah like her best friend probably like the other girl before or he probably liked he still likes her and then the boyfriends with her now yeah I was kind of confused because I thought the best friend was a girl. At first I did too. Yeah, it's fun. Her best friend's a guy. Yeah, I think she said she's working at a hospital now. Girl drop them.
Starting point is 00:50:50 You had her opportunities over there. Yeah. Everyone's saying drop everybody. Yeah. Yeah, because obviously that's childish. Like, I feel like her best friend and her man are trying to one up each other. Yes. Like the best friend was probably like, all right, you may have lost.
Starting point is 00:51:07 You may have won the. battle, but I'm going to win this war. War. Yeah, and now that I know that her best friends and man, no, they gotta go. It's like childish, where you're moving up next. Have you ever... Have you ever dealt with something like this before?
Starting point is 00:51:23 No, I haven't. No? So you're not talking to you like that? No. I'm boring. I like to think I'm not, but listening, it was pretty funny because then she kept coming out with more and coming up with more, so I'm like, girl, you know. It's just you're not telling this.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Yeah. Yeah. But the tea was good, but she knows how to play her game, so go on to the hospital field. Yeah. When she was talking, I knew she knew how to play her game because she's telling those little things at the time. Yeah, she got some game up there in the bag. Well, I mean, she's... Yeah, but if she already moved out of the, like, the phone company, like, dropped them.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Like, that's already, that's their mess. They're leaving where they're at and move on to where you're at now, you know? Move on to something else, something messier. Something messier? At the hospital. Start your first season of Grey's Anatomy. Yes, girl. At the hospital.
Starting point is 00:52:15 Get it. Get it. All right. Thank you. Thank you, Christine. All right, let's go to Moses on line four up in Portland. Portland. P.DX. First time calling, too.
Starting point is 00:52:26 What on, Moses? Moses. Morning, everyone, y'all came again? Yeah, we can hear you. What's good, Moses? How are we going to help the homegirl crystal? Hey, look, so it's a guy best friend, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:52:38 Okay. Why is she worried what another man is doing or what he's getting into, if you know what I'm saying? Say it's a lot of for the people in the back. Go ahead, say, keep going. Because that girl is the same girl. It's the best, yeah. Hooked up with her man. Okay. If she's so concerned, that's supposed to be the best friend, right? You're supposed to have their best interest at all times, right? Yep.
Starting point is 00:52:58 So why not nip it in the rear end right now and just tell it how it is? What boozy say, treat a queen like a queen and a, you know, like a... Yeah, no, I mean, that was my thing. I was like, she's like, I don't want to be a hater. It's like, nah, girl, be a hater. Be a hater. Straight up tell her. At this relationship that this guy.
Starting point is 00:53:19 We ain't supposed to sugarcoat nothing in life. You're supposed to tell her how it is. That's how I was raised. I don't know about y'all. Yeah. Right. I think it gets a little weird. If you can save your best friend from getting their heart broke,
Starting point is 00:53:29 why not do that to begin with? Or at least if they happen down the road, don't come crying to me and say, I ain't warn you. Yeah, because this girl's, obviously active and she knows all about her. She, you know, said she's hooking up with other people, all this stuff. She knows her history. Which, yeah, that's why I felt like she was like,
Starting point is 00:53:46 I don't want to be a hitter. I'm like, girl, hate more. And truth be told, you know that girl knows about her boyfriend and her best friend. Like, knows details about them. Yeah. Because she's talked to both. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Exactly. Yeah, she knows all her info and her tea and all that. Yeah. She knows all the spots. Yeah, but it is what it is. You know what they're going to do what they're going to do. But like I said, if that was my best friend, I'm going to warn them as it is. And don't come crying to me after I told you.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Yeah. No, 100%. Be straight up. But the best friend already knew. Like, the best friend's the one that told Crystal in the beginning about that girl and her man messing around. Yeah, he was being a hitter. Maybe he just wanted to be Eskimo Bros. With a whole other level.
Starting point is 00:54:27 I don't even know. He want to go two. Shit. He might want to be Eskimo Bro and he's waiting to double it up. Yeah. I think he really wants the girl. What do you think should she still stay with her man, though? Or should she just drop the best friend?
Starting point is 00:54:42 Yeah, what's you got to do with it? I mean, if he's a... So if his point is, why aren't you telling him nothing, but you told me, well, obviously she loved him a little bit more, you know what I'm saying? So she's going to say something more to the person that she loved. Whoa. Right. But it is a little hypocritical not to say nothing to the best friend, too.
Starting point is 00:54:57 Yeah. That's true. Yeah, that it bugs her. Yeah. All right. Thank you, Moses. Thank you, Moses. Appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:55:03 I appreciate you calling, man. He was. He was. Yeah. Yeah. He started quoting Bousie. Yeah. Yeah, he did.
Starting point is 00:55:09 So what did Bousie say? Oh, any time you quote Bucci is there. Probably some anger behind you. Let me down. All right. All right. I don't want to get this name. Amulso.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Arnulso. Amulso? In Pasadena. Hey, how do you say your name? What line? Oh, line five. How do you say your name? Hello?
Starting point is 00:55:28 Hi. Hi. It's Arnulfo. Arnulfo. Arnulfo. Okay. I knew Arnulfo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:36 Can we just call you, like, Arny or something? Arnui. Arnold? Do you know what? People call you? Arnold. They call me Newfee. Newfy?
Starting point is 00:55:43 What? That's a new fee. That's a knee. Where did your parents get your name from? That's what I asked my mom all the time. I asked her what she was on when she made me that. I was my uncle. My boy, Arnulf.
Starting point is 00:55:56 When's your birthday? In January, the 17th. Hey. Let's go. All right. All right. Newfie. Help us out.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Crystal has a man. Her man you took up with this girl at their job, and she has a best friend that is now hooking up with that same girl. She wants to know what to do about the situation. She feels uncomfortable with it. She wants to be supportive to her best friend, kind of, but also her man is uncomfortable with the whole thing. What do you think she should do?
Starting point is 00:56:29 So there's a saying that goes, it ain't fun if the homies can have none. I think they should all just start dating. Wow I mean to avoid anybody being jealous But also I think that Since a boyfriend The best friend's already helping out
Starting point is 00:56:50 With the home growth party Yeah I think he should just Probably date the homeboy I mean What? You know there's yeah Why not
Starting point is 00:56:58 It seems like they're To just swang? You want to it all by pineapple shirts That's what you want? Yep Why are you telling her to hook up? The answer is love. They love each other.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Hook up. Just walk in there, play, Ain't no fun, my Snoop Dog, and that's it. No, but Crystal said
Starting point is 00:57:21 that the best friend has shown interest and she shut it down right away. Well, you know what? She's taking money from him for the party, so that's kind of leading him on too.
Starting point is 00:57:31 Oh. He's waiting his chance. He's waiting his chance. You know what? To actually to solve the situation, I think that they should break up and the two dudes should just
Starting point is 00:57:43 date each other. That's a solution, I guess. And then you're saying, so she should date the girl from the co-worker and then she got everybody. Newfy, that is hilarious. Newfy, call back anytime, bro. Go back anytime.
Starting point is 00:58:06 That's hilarious. He's over here trying to play Tic-Tac-Tot. Everyone happy. I'll be talking again for some Kendrick Lamar tickets All right Thank you, Newfey That was a good one too
Starting point is 00:58:20 He said it ain't no fun if the homies can't have none He said they should all just make out Yeah You switch Are you all down just a kiss right now? What's up? Today we're going to pull a name out of a hat Yeah
Starting point is 00:58:33 That's crazy That's hilarious These are Newfie's problem solving skills Don't want to just all make out Maybe Nupi has done it in the past He's probably that friend Like when everybody's fighting He's like bro, let's all just kiss right now
Starting point is 00:58:47 Yeah Like what? What? What? Novi's fricky Let's hate Poor love I did not expect that
Starting point is 00:58:56 Okay let's go to Sabrina In Mid City on line 6 Sabrina Sabrina Hey Good morning you guys Hi Sabrina Hi Sabrina
Starting point is 00:59:04 Hi How you're doing? Good are you We're trying to help the homegirl Crystal So just kind of, you know, stressing us out over here. I think my opinion is I think if she's making money, just mind it, mind her business and go, you know, whatever. But, I mean, if she is really her friend, then I guess he's giving a heads up, but they're grown, you know, you know exactly what they're doing.
Starting point is 00:59:25 So you can't, you can't control everything, you know. That's true. So you feel like she should just stick to herself, let everybody do them, not really need to be involved? Yeah, maybe just show them that. Yeah, exactly. And you just show them as a, you know, because she's a date her man as well, right? No, not the best friend. No?
Starting point is 00:59:48 No, no. No. Yeah, so she has a best friend. Well, she has a man. Her man you stuck up with this girl, right? Uh-huh. And they had a little issue or whatever. They got past it.
Starting point is 01:00:00 But the best friend, Crystal's best friend, is now hooking up with that same girl. Mm, got it. Yeah. However, her best friend, Crystal's best friend is the one that told Crystal about her man and that girl's past. She was like, oh, like the guy was like, A, like, you know. Yeah, the best friends. You got used to hook up and, you know, they still talk and stuff like that. Yeah, I think they just try to be messy.
Starting point is 01:00:26 I think it's just a mess, a messy situation. Yeah. Yeah. I would want, I mean, obviously getting involved in my friend, though, but like I said, they're both grown. I feel like even if I were to say something, they're still going to do that. you know? Yeah. Got it.
Starting point is 01:00:40 Yeah. Yeah. So I just felt like maybe she should just mind her business. Just listen and just come out the ear, you know? Got it. All right. Thank you, Sabrina. I'm still stuck in the other solution.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Just kiss. Everybody just. No. Everybody just kissed. Come on. He's setting it up, bro. He's setting up. This is a long play.
Starting point is 01:01:01 Okay, yeah, yeah. As guys, how does it work? The best friend is like, okay, shoulder to car on, boom. He already has expressed. rest that he liked her in the past. Boom. Throwing a band on her. He's the one that told her about what the co-worker said that Crystal had hooked up with her dude.
Starting point is 01:01:17 Yep. Boom. He's the messiest one. And he's doing, he's paying for half the party. Boom. He's trying to show her what he's has. My boy is trying to run the long play. He is trying his hardest.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Yeah. To mess it up. Yeah. Honestly, he's trying everything. And she's a cute girl. So we saw her Instagram. I wouldn't be mad. I wouldn't do it too.
Starting point is 01:01:36 But yeah, the best friend is it. Man, the best friend is a snake, bro. To me, he's such a snake. He's the one that's kind of running these plays. Yeah, snake. Snakes in the grass. And he might be hooking up with this girl just to see, to get her man. To see her.
Starting point is 01:01:52 So, like, maybe get her jealous or mad. It's a specific girl, too. It's not like a random girl. It's the girl that hooked up with her man. And he always tells her about, like, he always tells her like, yeah, me and this girl, you know. So that. Come on, bro. She can relay the information.
Starting point is 01:02:07 to her man and cause problems between them. And that's why she wants to break up with the man. So then he can be like, oh, her and I broke up too, by the way. Yeah, bro. He's like, wow. Here's my shoulder. Cry on it. Yeah, he's like, man, we should just leave them in the past want to make out.
Starting point is 01:02:22 And you don't have to worry about your party because I'm paying for it. And I'll just. Yeah. We don't even need him. I got it. I got it. Yo, he's wild for paying for that party. Because that means he's trying not to not be outdone by the man.
Starting point is 01:02:33 He's playing chess. He is playing real life chess. He is playing. He would, yeah, that's playing. player. If your girl, if your guys
Starting point is 01:02:40 is girls, they had a best friend that's paying for anything. For anything. No, she doesn't have. They would tell
Starting point is 01:02:45 them like, hey, like that's like you already, no, I'm not in this if you have a male best friend.
Starting point is 01:02:50 Yeah, that's facts. Yeah. I have a best friend to let it go. My best friend is Smith and and Weston.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Yeah. His cousin, Wesson. Yeah. And don't be her best friend guy. Yeah. So that would hurt
Starting point is 01:03:03 your guys is ego like if the best friend. Ego. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, No way, let me hear. Let me hear.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Like if your girl's best friend's a guy, obviously. We pass that, right? And you're like, okay. And then the best friend starts, like, paying for her nails, pays for little things like that. What that, like hurt your ego? Get out of you. That's not. It's unacceptable.
Starting point is 01:03:21 It's not about the ego. It's completely inappropriate and unacceptable. But it's just nails. No, no, no. Angie. He's just being nice. What do you think he wants to eat those nails for? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Hey, Marcus has a girl best friend and so she's buying him coffee every day. She buys them. She buys them brief. And he pays for her nails. No, briefs is a different thing. I buy her briefs. If Marcus has had a girl best friend and is paying for her nails, it's fine? No.
Starting point is 01:03:42 No. That's not her best friend. Okay, you're contradicting yourself. No, I'm just saying, no, I'm just asking, like, as guys. No, because it's a thing of, like, as a guy, like, in, you know, if you're, like, in a serious relationship, you take pride and, like, oh, like, I bought my guy with it. Yeah, that's what I'm saying? Yeah, like, is it, like, I bought this. I bought this.
Starting point is 01:03:59 It's just, like, you're, when you want, when you're in a serious relationship, you want to protect and provide. You know what I'm saying? So you want to like provide for them. It makes you, it makes me feel good as a man to be like, oh, I got your nails. Don't worry. I got this, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:12 If another man is trying to start and it's not her dad. Trying to one of you. Yeah. It's like, bro, no. Actually, even the best friend paying for the party right now, that should be an issue. That's inappropriate.
Starting point is 01:04:22 Okay. I stopped talking to a girl for that reason. I got concert ticket because she was a concert she really wanted to go to. Yeah. So I got concert tickets. I was like, all right, cool. Like I got you, right? And then here comes this dude best friend.
Starting point is 01:04:32 All of us, not best friend, but like, co-worker. Yeah. That knows that she likes that artist. Yeah. I bought to a single ticket that's like almost near the floor. Yeah. Okay. And I was like, get out of here.
Starting point is 01:04:43 I literally stopped talking to her in that moment. There's difference between like guy best friend, like guy friends and like a best friend, right? I feel like it's okay if a girl has guy friends. Okay. Like that's cool. Yeah. A best friend that you literally like, that's like the person you tell everything to, the person that if you're, you know, sad, whatever. Yeah, you vent to them.
Starting point is 01:05:03 You vent to, like, and the way that this dude is moving for Crystal's best friend. Yeah. He's moving super, like, strategic. Slithery. Yeah. Like a serpent. You guys see it already. He's moving through the grass.
Starting point is 01:05:16 Is she still in the line? Is Crystal still on the line? Crystal. Yeah, I'm here. Your best friend's snake. Yeah. We came to the conclusion. What do you think about all this?
Starting point is 01:05:24 Yeah, you've been listening to everyone saying that, right? Like, drop them. Yeah. Okay. In retrospect, I guess, yeah, it is a little weird. But I guess I just never thought of it as weird because we've been friends for the longest time. And going back, somebody I think said something about how, why am I tripping off what another man is doing? But it's not even mad because he's dated so many girls and he's like, oh, now with so many girls and I've been supportive of all of them.
Starting point is 01:05:49 This specific one is the only one I have a problem with. Yeah. It's because, wait, wait, okay. So the fact that he's dated all these girls, like, you know what about it, it doesn't, it doesn't matter. Like all that's showing you is that like, you know, he gets girls, you know, in that perspective to him. He's not going to hide that. Yeah. But for me?
Starting point is 01:06:09 He's just going to show you. But for me, it's not even like, oh, he gets girls. It's like, I don't really care what you do. Mm-hmm. Because the whole time, like, me and I said, me and my boyfriend only just started going out. Yeah. So my best friend seen me go out with, like, other guys, too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:24 It's a waiting game. But it's this one that his rival at work. I feel like there's something to do with that that he's like, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. I'm like, it can't go down. That's it. Like, she likes him.
Starting point is 01:06:34 The only thing I can think of. Mm-hmm. Okay. It's kind of big. What is it? What is it? Say it. Everybody at that store.
Starting point is 01:06:44 Yeah. Used to have problems with each other. And I guess my boyfriend, this was before me, so like I'm finding out that everybody else. So somebody, like snitched out another coworker on something kind of big.
Starting point is 01:06:58 Like they told the manager that he was, like, drunk at work, which I don't even think was the case. Yeah. So Damner got him fired. Oh. And my boyfriend was friends with everybody. But he picked the snitch his side.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Oh. So now nobody talks to him. Yeah. So that's, to me, is the only thing. And my best friend, he's not like the vengeful type. But the guy that was, like, lied about is one of his close friends, too. So that's like, that's the only thing I can think of. That would, like, irisbee my friends.
Starting point is 01:07:28 Yo, you're in a crazy circle of drama. I love it. I love it. You know that this drama's not normal, right? Yeah. You know you can walk away from it all. Dude, I was, like, finding, like, the laurel, like, as I was dating him. And, like, it's crazy because even my boyfriend, like, I ran into the guy who I lied about
Starting point is 01:07:48 and my boyfriend's ex-best friend at the bar. And they were, like, telling me everything. And I was, like, that's crazy. Because when I told my boyfriend, like, oh, I ran into so-and-so, he was like, oh, okay. I was, like, they invited us over. to their house, like, if we want to go kick it for a bit. And he was like, nah, I got to go do things. And I was like, oh.
Starting point is 01:08:07 I was like, so you're not going to tell me all the tea right now? Because they just did. Damn. They're throwing salt on his name too. Calling now name. Nobody likes to. In the moment, in the moment, too, like I was, because the guy was already drunk. So he was just going to say kind of anything too, you know?
Starting point is 01:08:24 So I was just like, oh, yeah, like, I get it, you know? Like, I was trying to be, like, I was trying to be supportive as a girlfriend and and still, like, defend him. But, like, how do you defend someone from that? Yeah. Crystal, if you were on the boat with your best friend and your boyfriend, right? And they both fell off the boat. Who are you saving first?
Starting point is 01:08:41 Oh, man, my boyfriend. Your boyfriend? Yeah. All right. That's crazy. I don't know. I feel like that's someone in a relationship with. Yeah, that's who you should be protecting.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Just know your best friend's snake. I'm not going to the bay anymore. Just know. I just canceled my show up there right now. Slythering. Suck a tash, all right? Do not catch me. San Jose anymore.
Starting point is 01:09:03 All right, thanks. Do you feel like we helped you, Crystal? Yes. What do you plan on doing? What do you plan on doing? Do I feel like you guys give me more questions and I'm going to go. Okay. No, Crystal, it's because...
Starting point is 01:09:20 I told you your best friend's a snake. He is. Yeah. He is a snake. Everyone, if you listen to the callers, they were saying you need to drop both of them. But from this question about the bow, you're saying you would be saving your boyfriend. so I'm assuming you're willing to save your boyfriend I mean stay with your boyfriend but drop your best friend
Starting point is 01:09:39 if needed after the party off of course No yeah yeah look to me if I was you I would cut off the best friend and see if problems continue with your man Then it's your man is the problem too You know what I'm saying But it's like if you eliminate this problem right here
Starting point is 01:09:56 Then and nothing and now you guys are good Then it'll show you what the problem was No it's for not I mean that's like toxica, so it's like, I'm going to find a problem in anything. Yeah. And then, you know. Well, you have another problem. Make sure to write us and send us a DM.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Send me a DM. Send me a DM. So we can help you on the next homie helpline. I think that's enough for today. DM DJ Greg C with your problems. Stop it, Greg. All right. We are playing the best yo mama joke wins tickets to see Kendrick Lamar with Siza on the grand national tour.
Starting point is 01:10:27 We got a couple callers. And they're going to give us their best your mama joke. I love good yo mama jokes. Like I have high expectations of your mama jokes. Same. Like, I want to cry because how bad, how good they are.
Starting point is 01:10:39 Really? Yeah, yeah, I want to get hurt. Like, I wanted to get hurt. You want to say that about my mama. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:10:44 you shouldn't say that, bro. Yeah, maybe. I'm hoping that these are good. Like, I might have to tell, like,
Starting point is 01:10:49 Mom, you hear what he said? Like, that's how bad I wanted to be. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:10:55 Let's go to Sarai in Southgate on line eight. Sarai. Sarai. Salai. Salai. Hi, Hi, good morning. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:11:01 Good morning. There's two of you? Sadlil. Who's Saddai and who's he? No, it's a... Yeah, it's me and my daughter. Hi. Hi.
Starting point is 01:11:09 What's your name? My name is VeeV. Vivi. Hi, Viviana. Hi. I don't know. I would first like to set out my high school softball team. Warren High.
Starting point is 01:11:21 Oh, good, Warren. Okay, Downey? Let's go. Yes. Do I say the joke? What? All right. You ready for the your mama joke?
Starting point is 01:11:30 Yeah. All right, let's hear it. Your mama's so short, you can see her feet on her driver's license. All right. Write that down. That's who is that again? Angie's rating on. That's Sadai.
Starting point is 01:11:45 She said, your mom is so short that you can see her feet on the driver's license. All right, that was not bad. That was not bad. I haven't heard that one. That's a new one. All right, let's go to Jasmine in South LA on line nine. Jasmine. Jasmine.
Starting point is 01:11:59 Jasmine. Jasmine. Good morning Good morning Jasmine You ready for your Your mama joke Yes
Starting point is 01:12:09 I have a feeling It's going to be a good one Prove me right Go ahead I hope so All right go ahead Your mama's so fat Even Dora couldn't explore her
Starting point is 01:12:19 All right Okay Okay That was your mama so fat That even Dora couldn't Explora. That's submission number two. I like that one.
Starting point is 01:12:33 That was good. That was good. That was good. Okay. Who's next? Ali and San Fernando on line 10. Good morning, friends. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:12:42 I'd hit me with a friend, huh? Hi, guys. Wait, I'm going to be on theme because of your, like, it was like on one of your guys' topics, but it's the only thing I could come up with off the top of my head. Okay. Go ahead. You ready?
Starting point is 01:12:55 Yeah, go ahead. Go, go, go. Okay. Yo mama's so fast you could take on the 100. gorillas and win. Ha, ha, ha, ha, laugh, laugh. First of all, that has nothing to do with our topics. Well, it was, it was scrolling.
Starting point is 01:13:14 What got me was a ha, ha, ha, ha. Laugh, ha, ha, ha. And then you're trying to force us to laugh about it. Ah, it worked, though. It didn't work, damn it, Ali. I did not want to laugh at that, but the delivery made me laugh, honestly. Ha, ha, ha, ha, laugh, guys. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:13:31 Oh, this is a tough one. Between Sari and Southgate, Jasmine in South L.A. and Allie and San Fernando, who do you guys think had the best your mama joking? I'm like, I feel like, do we have time for them to give one more? Like, do we have the... Like, you said they all suck? Not going to. Is that what you feel? I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 01:13:49 I've heard a lot of these before. You have not heard the 100 versus one. That was a one of one joke. She's like, ha, ha, ha. Laugh. You're not supposed to make people, like, force people to laugh, first of all. Got it. That's the purpose of the joke.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Out of those three, if you had to choose one. Number two. I'm choosing number two. Jasmine? Jasmine, number two. I thought Jasmine was pretty funny. Jasmine's joke was your mom is so fat. Dora couldn't even explore her.
Starting point is 01:14:13 Yes. I'm choosing number two. Angie? Yeah, I would say that one, Jasmine. I'm going number two. You're going number two? But I feel like I've heard that one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:22 That's what I'm saying. Maybe can we go another like round, quick round? No? No. No? No, no, no. But maybe we could ask Jasmine for one more joke. Let's see, Jasmine.
Starting point is 01:14:31 Jasmine? Well, you guys haven't voted. Vic and Maximum. I go for... Jasmine? Jasmine. You have another one in the chamber? Oh, I got one more.
Starting point is 01:14:41 Okay. What is it? Your mama's so ugly that when she joined an ugly contest, they said, sorry, but no professionals. That was really good. That was, that one. You know that one that was better. I like that one.
Starting point is 01:14:57 All right. Let's see if Ali in San Fernando cannot do that. If she has one more. Ali. Ali. Guys, I don't have your mama joke, but I have another joke. I want to hear it. Let me.
Starting point is 01:15:08 I want to hear it. No, actually, you know what? No, because it's a way. You guys know what a Waymo is, right? Yeah. Yeah. Okay, why do you take a, what do you take a, listen, I laugh at my own jokes. If you guys don't want to laugh, it's okay, but I know I'm going to laugh.
Starting point is 01:15:24 Oh, okay. Go ahead, Ellie. like that. Listen, why should you take a Waymo instead of an Uber? Because it's way more fun. You guys get it? I get it.
Starting point is 01:15:39 Also, let me look, I'm going to throw in some brownie points. I've been with you guys with brownback since you guys have to blue and black walls. Don't do that. Don't do that. Blackwashed. Do you guys remember those blue and black walls?
Starting point is 01:15:51 Yes, this is Ellie, right? Yeah. This is Ellie. Yeah. Thank you, Ellie. Yeah. I thought Jasmine's.
Starting point is 01:15:56 joke was way more funny. Jasmine on 9-9, you win. Kendrick Lamar ticket. Congratulations, Jasmine. Thank you, Brown, boys. Yeah. All right, okay. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:16:11 Sorry, sorry. I was voting for you guys. That was tough. Connected like I'm rosecrans. The word is, Dochi is facing backlash because of yelling at her team. to get her another umbrella Ella Ella A. What?
Starting point is 01:16:32 So don't she attended the MetGala in New York this week. And she was a part of team Louis Vuitton style by Farrell and the Louis Vuitton team. She looked great in the Louis V monogram blazer and checker shorts that she had on. You know, everybody loved her outfit and stuff like that. But after that, a video came out where there was a certain time she didn't want to show her outfit just yet. I think until she got on the carpet. Right. And she didn't want to be photographed or anything.
Starting point is 01:16:58 So she needed to be covered so that photos won't be taken. So she had like a makeshift changing room. But the top wasn't covered. So she asked her team to get her some umbrellas to cover the top. And this is how it sounded. I'm ready. Give me another. No, stop.
Starting point is 01:17:13 Give me another umbrella. Now. Another one. And another one. Another one. Two more umbrellas. Two more umbrellas. I'm so right now.
Starting point is 01:17:25 All right. Make a path, everyone. It sounds like a skit. It does. Need more umbrellas. Another umbrella. Two umbrellas. Four umbrellas.
Starting point is 01:17:37 I get it. Like, it's the megala. The whole point of it is like revealing what you're wearing, you know? So like the big reveal is a big thing. Also, that day it was raining as girls. Of course you want umbrellas to cover your hair. Well, they don't want people taking free time. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:52 So it's both. So I get Dochi. She was covering the top of the, like, like. Boots or whatever. She did have like her fro out, which was like if it were to get wet, it could damage it or like, you know, just. Yeah, ruin the style. Ruin the style of how she happens. Yeah, you're going to mess up to.
Starting point is 01:18:08 I get it. I think it does sound like she, you know, is being a little aggressive. Yeah. But in these environments, it's a super high-paced, like stressful. Stressful. You want everything right. Everything is moving really fast. So even for her, like, obviously it was, people are in line to, like, like,
Starting point is 01:18:27 like go through like the red carpet. So it was her turn to move. And I'm sure they're probably like, let's go. Yeah, like pushing her. So in that in that moment, you know, the best way to get someone's attention is to kind of yell. Yeah. It's the equivalent of like being on state, being backstage and having to be on stage,
Starting point is 01:18:45 you know, in a couple of seconds and you need to get dressed. And it's like, dude, there's no time for sparing feelings. Yeah. Right. I need this and I need this now. Like fast, fast, fast. Yes, exactly. So she started to face a lot of backlash.
Starting point is 01:18:55 People are saying, oh, she are. already let the fame get to her head. Damn. You know, people are already going that route and like, oh, such an industry plan like we said. Right. She's not humble. She treats her team like crap, all this stuff. But she's dealt with the backlash pretty well.
Starting point is 01:19:11 She posted a video and it said, God forbid a girl needs more umbrellas. And she made like a funny face and then just being like shrugging her shoulders. Like what's so wrong about that? And then she posted a text that said, and all jokes aside, I'm so, so proud. of my glam team and the LV team for an incredible night. We've been dreaming about this met for a long time. And the theme this year is in such alignment with who I am, what I stand for. It's nothing but God that this year was our debut.
Starting point is 01:19:38 Everyone killed it. We all nailed the theme. So, you know, she's being gracious and stuff like that. Yeah, it's her first Met Gala. She looked great. I loved her fit. Yeah. And let's say that she was being, you know, maybe aggressive or what people are saying mean.
Starting point is 01:19:54 Yeah. I'm sure that in that moment, it's, it's, it's, Like this is all new to a lot of people too. It's a moment of reflection. And if her team likes her, her team's going to understand that in that moment the high pressure and like fast movement that that's okay.
Starting point is 01:20:08 That's what they're saying up for. They're going to know that it's stressful. It's stressful to deal with like just everything that's going on to Meggala. Imagine photography everywhere. This pop bratsis don't care about anything. They're going to get a shot no matter where they can. If they have to rush the freaking booth or anything,
Starting point is 01:20:23 they're going to try. And they want to get the first shot always. Yeah. Not even the first shot. They want. to catch them slipping. Yeah. For that reason, this video came out because people are just trying to find, yeah,
Starting point is 01:20:32 you look good, but they really want to find where someone falls or someone makes a mistake or someone's outfit rips. Like, that's where they're going to be like, oh, that's the money. I'm going to sell that. Because there's even a video of her, like, in a doorway. I think it's when she's still across the street before. And somebody opens the door and she's standing there, but they don't want, she don't want anybody to see her.
Starting point is 01:20:53 So she kind of pushes her team away and runs back. And you can hear the people be like, oh, don't do that, don't do that. It's like, she's not trying to reveal herself. Right. Yeah. Yeah. So, you're stealing her moment. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:21:04 So it's the megal. It's, yeah. But like I said, I like how she's dealing with it all, taking it in stride, not letting it get to her. This is a point where in a lot of people's careers, they can, you know, start to feel down on themselves. Like, oh, man, everybody's turning on me because, you know, just two months ago when she was performing on stage, you know, in front of the whole world, everybody loved her. Yeah. You know? And then now it's like, oh, now she's doing too much.
Starting point is 01:21:26 and now she's saying this. So I like how she's staying strong-headed about it. I think she should just continue to lean into it, you know, and maybe even do a remix of this song. What song? Umbrella. She should resile over there. Give you more umbrellas?
Starting point is 01:21:43 Yes. I need more. She got to just lean into it because everybody's talking about this right now. Yeah. We need more umbrellas. More umbrellas. Yeah. I'm just thinking like for make, I'm thinking like for real like it's race.
Starting point is 01:21:59 You don't want to, as a girl, you don't want to get your hair wet. You don't want to mess up your makeup. You don't want everyone to see your fit before you actually reveal it. So I get her. Yeah, exactly. Well, we're sending love to Dochi. Yes, you got this. We know, we know your intentions.
Starting point is 01:22:14 All right. Well, that was your word on Rosecrans brought to you by local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Rose Kranz, Victor Brown Bag Mornings on Power 106. And Angie, we got something coming up next. Yes, you guys. MGK's the envy of all the guys right now. What? He's caught in a love triangle with your celebrity.
Starting point is 01:22:29 Yes. Yep, that's in Sambra Sala. Coming up next. Hey, Sambra Sala with Angie. Okay, you guys are going to get really, really jealous of MGK right now. MGK? Yeah. The last person I want to be jealous.
Starting point is 01:22:46 No, after I tell you, who's he's caught up in the middle with, you're going to be thinking. Who? Right now, he's in between Megan Fox's baby mama and your girl, Sidney, sweetie. Oh my God. Dude. So you guys know, MGK, he's single, right? He just welcomed the baby with Megan. Fox, but they're not together.
Starting point is 01:23:05 And then Sidney Sweeney, she's also single. She just broke off her engagement back in March, so they're both single. And over the weekend in Vegas, MGK and Sydney Swene were seen together being really flirty. There's actually a video. It's up on
Starting point is 01:23:21 Brownback Mornings 106 on Instagram, right? And you see Sydney and MGK getting like real touchy. She's like putting her hand on his shoulder, not once, but twice. She hits him with a fast. The whole getting closer to his ear and putting her hand on his arm.
Starting point is 01:23:38 Yeah. It looks really flirty. There's a lot of body language going on there. Yes. Wow. They even hug. And you know what? Like, MGK gets the benefit of like that bad boy.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Like he's just like, oh, it's just such a bad. Like, girls don't want to take him serious either. They just want what he wants out of them. Exactly. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like, there's no pressure. He's just like, I'm just MGK, girl.
Starting point is 01:24:01 Like, I'm a wild boy. Wild boy. I just had a baby. Yeah. Wow. Let's just get laced up. It just makes me mad because he's going from Megan Fox to Sidney Sweeney. Well, that's the thing.
Starting point is 01:24:09 He's got it in between. I don't know. You're trying to get a Ferrari for your Lamborghini. What's wrong with you, bro? I would have kept a Ferrari. Well, I mean, like I told you guys, he was actually engaged with Megan Fox, but they broke up their engagement. It's been like on and off really between them too. They just welcomed their baby back in March like I told you.
Starting point is 01:24:30 And what's crazy is that after this video of Sidney Swini with. M. G.K. went viral. Allegedly, Megan Fox reached out and is telling M.G.K. to step it up in the dad department and to prioritize his family responsibilities. Megan Fox, if you need somebody to step it up, I'm here. I am here, Megan Fox. Right. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:24:51 I will be the one that steps up for that baby. Well, you know what? I think what's funny about that is that, like, okay, let's say, you know, it's not MGK's day with the baby. Let's say it's shared custody or whatever. Yeah. He has, like, visitation where he goes and sees. the baby. If he was at home playing Xbox,
Starting point is 01:25:06 I don't think she would have the same energy for him. Like, you need to step it up in the- I don't think so. It's like the fact that like you're with like one of, with Sidney-Sweeney's one of like Hollywood's, you know, Hollywood's new actresses who everybody is all Google Gaga over the same way they were over Megan Fox when she was in Transformers. Oh, you're right.
Starting point is 01:25:28 They weren't alone though. They weren't alone. I feel like people are like like Nick, knacking at all them too like if they were out oh yeah yeah for sure it was like a celebrity event there um there was other actors yeah around them but people are focusing on them too on their interactions okay but but if that was your girl whispering in m gk's ear yeah you're gonna assume the worst i mean i'm just looking at the shirt you're not you're not looking at all you want me to tell them what you're looking at i'm looking at the shirt she's wearing it makes sense that's what
Starting point is 01:26:00 That's what he's like. Okay, describe the shirt she's right. I think Martimo's Zoom button got stuck for a second. Oh, for sure. You know what, MGK? You wild him, boy. He's a wild boy. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:26:17 But no, you're right. There was other people in. You're right. It's salty. Let's like be for real. Megan Fox is salty. Well, I mean, she just had a baby. She's probably like not feeling super confident right now.
Starting point is 01:26:28 And then she sees. the baby daddy out with her yeah out in Vegas having a time and it's obvious that they're flirting it's 100% obvious because you know everybody around there was like hey you and Sydney what's up I saw that homie like you know they're definitely like hyping it up more too oh yeah yeah yeah for sure and I know like they're saying
Starting point is 01:26:48 well they're actually friends like they go back from like movies ago or things like that but it's like full like you can tell what someone's flirty yeah MGK can't keep in the way with this they're both single just putting that out there again. Sidney broke up her engagement in March. Does that mean she's single though?
Starting point is 01:27:05 Even though she stopped the engagement? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, when you break off an engagement. I think it's over. I mean, she just broke up in general? Yeah, you can't really go back to that. How do you go back?
Starting point is 01:27:13 Like, imagine. Did Jailo do that? Put Pandora back in its box. Yeah, I mean, after time, you know, when they get back together, but I'm sure when they're... You're talking about Ben Affleck and her? When, yeah. No, I feel like she, I swear that she, she, like, broke off an engagement but stayed with them because she wasn't ready.
Starting point is 01:27:26 Or somebody who did that. No, not Jainlo. No, Jailo's always ready to get married. Oh. That definitely wasn't her. Ah. And when she leaned up, she had to pull her shirt up. She did?
Starting point is 01:27:37 Maximo is looking at the video over and over again. You keep looking at the wrong parts of the video. No, I'm just trying to see. You can see the video on Brown Bank Mornings Wednesday on Instagram. And you can zoom in in and I mean, I don't know. It's loud. They're just talking. Why are they talking in the first place?
Starting point is 01:27:53 Vegas. She's also talking to the other people. But they're in the DJ booth. Yeah, it is pretty loud there. It's the whole arm. Yeah, it's the arm. It's the smiling and the hugging. That's what people are and fans are thinking like, hey, they might, it's, they might,
Starting point is 01:28:07 something might be going on there. Let's ask an expert. Greg, what goes down in the DJ booth? There's a lot that goes down in the DJ booth. Like this does go down in the DJ booth with my homies. When girls come up to the DJ booth, they do that. They be all flirty like, hey, with their hands all over and everything. Whispering ears?
Starting point is 01:28:23 Whispering ears because you can't really can't hear because it's loud. Right. And then, yeah, so it's... What happens after the DJB? Don't worry about it, all right. They have to go through the homies. It's me. That's what they're talking to the homie.
Starting point is 01:28:34 Oh, all right. But I think, I personally think this is a little flirty. Because the way that she's talking to the other guy is not the way that she's talking to MGK. Because there's another guy in the video. I don't know who that is, but... That's Patrick. What's his... That's Arnold's son.
Starting point is 01:28:49 Oh, yeah. Oh, Arnold. Patrick, yes, Percinator. Okay, all right. Terminator's son. Oh, so she pulls up... Which he's on... White Lotus?
Starting point is 01:28:57 Mm-hmm. Ah, nah, yeah, yeah. She's gonna choose up. I honestly don't think this is, I think this is exaggerated. Doug. No, why? The arm thing.
Starting point is 01:29:04 The arm thing is the biggest thing. I mean, that dude is like super tall. That's what people are saying, it's the arm thing. No. Super tall. It's the arm thing and then that they hugged is what they're saying. Yeah, you can tell she's not exactly. She wants the bad thing.
Starting point is 01:29:16 No. Not saying his intention isn't to take her down. That is obviously clear. Megan Foxx is saying. But I think they're exaggerating the interaction. Nah. I don't think so. They're focusing on it too much you think.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Nope. And I'm not saying that it's not possible or maybe that is, but like this interaction, they know they're being filmed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, so they're being more low-key about it, you think? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:40 But no, to me it's the body language. It's less about that. It's just like the body language. You know, they both feel very comfortable around each other. It's cool. They wanted to seek each other out. That's fine. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:29:51 And then Megan even knows. Megan knows her man, her ex-man. How? What do you mean? No, I'm saying Like, Megan knows MGK So she knows
Starting point is 01:29:59 Like she knows his intentions Like maybe Maybe Cindy's not even trying Like she's just being nice, right? Friendly to everyone But then she knows MGK I keep watching a way You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:30:11 Nah, if you watch I keep watching it It's the second time She puts her hand On his arm So I'm saying It's not body language It's like
Starting point is 01:30:18 She literally puts it on his arm And then goes down a little It's not like a little tab It's not a little pat It's a whole like familiarity. I'm grabbing his arms. It's what I'm saying. But sometimes as girls,
Starting point is 01:30:28 we just like naturally do that. Like we just tap. Like sometimes. Hell not. Hell not. Better not. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 01:30:35 All right. That's it for so much. All right. Toyota dealers. I'm Angie from Brownback. Morning. We are. I'm part of 106.
Starting point is 01:30:43 Thank you. Angie. And Greg. I'm going to consider this toxic news. Maybe like triggering news because this actually does trigger me whenever I see this specific text message, all right? Okay. There's a study that published that shows the
Starting point is 01:30:56 single letter text, the letter K, if you receive that, it's going to make, it's a triggering text that could just make you crash out and make you go crazy every single time. Aggressiveness, it shows distance, I can't even talk, distance, distance, distance, emotional distance from a person if they send that little text message of just K. I hate it. The letter K. Every single day, because my mom will text me and say the letter K. Is K the same thing as cool? Like K-O-O? Cool is not that bad.
Starting point is 01:31:33 No, because you're ready, two more letters to it. But I feel like people like, yeah, like my age or around there, like we would use that, yeah, for like to trigger somebody. But like sometimes I text my dad like anything and his response is always K. All right. But I don't think it's like disrespectful. I think that's just like the way older people text. Yeah. But I have definitely used the letter K in a text message to trigger somebody.
Starting point is 01:31:55 To be petty. after they write a whole book, when they write you an entire script. I'm not reading that book. And then you just say, K. Yes, I think it's situational too.
Starting point is 01:32:05 That's getting me mad and get right. You don't see a problem with it, I think it's situational. What do you mean situational? Like, for example, like if someone writes a long paragraph or expect something, or if I did that and expect something
Starting point is 01:32:16 and they write K, then for sure it's triggering. But it's, you know it's purposeful. Right? I'm not. But if someone is like, hey, can you walk the dog, I'm like, hey.
Starting point is 01:32:27 No, that makes, I don't know, I see a K and I just get bothered. Yeah. It can seem like even if that. It could be like dismissive to that person. Like, okay, like a thumbs up or something. No, a thumbs up is worse than a K. No, it's not. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 01:32:44 Give me a okay and a message. A thumbs up means that you saw it and you didn't text back and you physically held down the message and put a thumbs up. Then what do you want me to reply back? I got time for none of this. That is, no. If, if I wrote my girl a whole novel and then she just likes my, like, puts a thumbs up on my message, oh. That's, that's, that's, that's, I'm going to be, I'm going to be hot.
Starting point is 01:33:06 That's like, you, you didn't even give me a letter. That's like the new left already. I gave you a reaction. A terrible reaction. I saw it. Not even a K. Like, that means there's, like, the conversation is still on my side. I didn't even get a bubble on your side.
Starting point is 01:33:20 Well, maybe something that I don't have anything to say, so it's like, I think. Wow. That's. That's crazy. Good for you. I do that a lot. I put K, not okay, I put cool or the thumbs up, but it's because I'm busy. I don't even, I don't want to think about what you're writing me right now.
Starting point is 01:33:35 Like, I literally have. But if you had, like, if your girl wrote you a whole paragraph and you just wrote K, she, if I did that, I'm doing it on purpose. You for sure. Did what? If I, if I reply like that, it's purposeful. Like I'm doing it. You're trying to get under his skin. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:47 Yeah. It's a trigger. I texted my mom the other day. Is there nachos at the house? And she said, you want, you want, you want, I saw the nachos. I said, yes. She said, let me know when you're passing Monabello. I said, okay, just got off the freeway.
Starting point is 01:33:57 And she put the letter, K. I got so mad. She's older. Why? She's going to make you nachos. Now it just makes it seem like I'm bothering her to make nachos. No, I think. My nachos with love.
Starting point is 01:34:10 I don't want them with attitude. I think older shes with attitude is hilarious. NWA. Like, I feel like I'm bothering her. But I think that is like, people, like above a certain age, I think they're, excluded from this. Hey, what are you trying to say? Maximaljian again?
Starting point is 01:34:28 No, like my parents, our parents, I think if they put K, I don't think they're trying to be dismissive or disrespectful. We are trying to. I text her at Saturday at 2 in the morning. I'll be home in the morning and she puts okay. Like, she typed it out fine at 2 in the morning. Okay, so on that message, what were you expecting her to say? That has less attitude. No, a natural message. The K is, it feels like I'm bothering her.
Starting point is 01:34:51 You are. So what would you want her to say? Because this is what my girl does sometimes. When we're not like arguing, arguing or anything, and I'm just, she's just acknowledging what I'm saying, she says KK. Just two Ks. See, that's a little like better. KK. Because it's like, there's no attitude in this.
Starting point is 01:35:06 It's just like. Let's hope she don't have a third one. No, no, no, no, no. It's like a little, it's like a little, like, it's like a little like, like, I'm just a girl. Like KK? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. There's no attitude associated with it. Yeah, but just K.
Starting point is 01:35:20 That's like, if she just. Like if she just puts K, I'm like, oh, I'm in trouble. Yeah. Like, yeah. That's your conscience. That's not my conscience. It is. I've got a clear conscience.
Starting point is 01:35:28 Clearly not. All right. So maybe this could be all the people that are. Kay? Okay. Whatever. Thumbs up, buddy. Oh.
