Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more brownback, the better. Come on. It's 5106. Ellie's number one for hip-hop. Good morning to you. Yes, we're still getting through it, and we're getting through it together. And I guess this weekend is now going to be a national holiday, y'all. Apparently it's Trump's birthday, and he has a big old birthday party parade planned in Washington, D.C.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Yeah, and I guess it's like a, it's like a. a duo birthday where it's the Army's 250th birthday and it's the same day as Donald Trump's 79th birthday. So what they're planning is to have like this big parade with the army. I'm sure there's going to be some type of jets going over and all of that. However, God don't like ugly and either does Mother Nature because apparently the forecast for DC in that specific time is 80% chance of rain. Oh, so it will literally rain on Trump's parade.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Yeah, which is insane. Wow, look at God. Is he trying to make it like a national holiday? I believe so. You know what's crazy. Not trying to compare him, but a lot of dictators do that. Yeah, that's why it struck me like, wait, what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:13 Because no other president has done that. No president. No. Can one of you, like, slap me in the face? Because I don't think life's real right now. Bro, I know that. I will. No, I really need to slap you in the face.
Starting point is 00:01:22 So I got you. Like, life isn't just like lifeing right now. It's not real. When they say, like, we're in a simulation or all of these things are happening. Yes. And so people were saying like in the midst of all of this that's going on in L.A. That could it be the lead up for like having this grand celebration on his birthday? This is his birthday present to himself, you know?
Starting point is 00:01:42 Oh my gosh. I was watching, I guess he was on a podcast and there's been clips that I've been going out. And Trump has said, you know what? My, my difference between this term and my first term is that I couldn't attack L.A. In my first term, I don't think. He legit said that? I could do things now like attack LA and that just is very, I guess, very insightful to me because again, call it what you want to call it, add the causes that you want to add on it.
Starting point is 00:02:11 It's also like the bigger play here. Not too long ago there was a survey or like a study or a report that said how California is the biggest economy like next to other countries. Like there's no other states on this. Like other, it's up there with other countries besides the United States. And of course you get mad at that. when they're low-key, like, it's low-key you're up, you don't really see eye to eye. And honestly, like, when it comes to Gavin and Trump,
Starting point is 00:02:35 it's kind of like, look at that guy with the hair that I have. I wish I had, you know? And it can go down to that, I guess, these type of trivial things because low-key, that's the world he comes from, where it's about looks and it's about status and it's about power, you know? He's from Hollywood. Yes, and it's like, and let me exert that. And so it's just a lot going on.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I know there was a question of are we really being distracted with what's going on with like all the Elon stuff that happened the week prior and stuff like that and that big bill and stuff like that. So it's just a trip that all right, his birthday is this weekend. He's 79. Yeah. Coupling it with the Army. So you know the Army's going to show out and have this big parade. And now we may also see. That's like a new national holiday.
Starting point is 00:03:23 What's our bro? I don't know if you guys have seen the Looney Tunes, but I feel like there was a. A particular episode where like Bugs Bunny just takes a saw and then he just like saws off like where he's at like his state. And I feel like maybe we should do that. People are, that is something people are saying. What I'm doing is like I'm walking around like pretending to disconnect myself like if I'm in the Matrix or something. Just in case you never know. You know what, Doc?
Starting point is 00:03:48 I think I need to watch the Matrix. Why? I guess in the Matrix they're patched up to something. Oh, got it. Got it. And what they're living is not really, really in some pods. Like in a pod. That's why I'm like, I'm trying to disconnect myself.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Like, am I real right now? What's going on? Like, yeah, let's see. Yeah, I don't know. I keep doing that every, like, hour. So, yeah. Okay. But I have been thinking about, like, it being a destruction from everything that
Starting point is 00:04:11 happened with Elon because even yesterday, Elon's the one that I was saying, you know what? I regret some of the things that I said about Trump last week. So I'm like, well, like, I don't know. They're making up. The boys are, the girls are making up. Yeah, they are. Or Secret Service. Type that in for him.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Tikes. Give me your phone right now. You don't know. It's just life right now, yeah. If it's tripping you out, it's tripping us out too. I play in the pigeons. Yeah. Not even go there, fool.
Starting point is 00:04:39 But I guess get ready for the birthday celebration that's coming over this weekend. Well, maybe they're going to get booed because yesterday, Trump and Melania at the Kennedy Center, they got booed for attending some event there. So maybe, who knows? So much can happen. And yesterday, I saw it. I was sitting there watching TV with my dad. I saw a commercial that didn't even seem real.
Starting point is 00:04:59 But it was like 100% like, like... Propaganda? Like, yeah. Oh, no. Like, I thought I was it. Am I sitting here? Am I in the per? Like...
Starting point is 00:05:06 What's a commercial, bro? It's a commercial about like, if you turn yourself in now, you can get compensated for $1,000. And maybe, maybe come back to the United States, blah, blah, blah. Like, actually have a chance versus if you're deported. And I was like, yeah. There's no way this is playing right now. Like, I swear I'm in a simulation.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Like, it doesn't seem real. at all. Like, the purges happening or something like that. It's weird. But we're here. That's reality. Yeah, it's reality. Yeah, man. We're here. All right. Scrolling. Gregorio. Letty. It is still graduation season,
Starting point is 00:05:39 and congratulations to the class of 2025 for graduating this year. Me? Yes. But there was a teacher going viral because the way she had announced one of the students' names at her graduation. And it makes me feel way better about myself. The way that she butchered this guy's last name. Okay. His name is Chris. But I can't say the last name because it's rarely bad and I had to censor it, but I'm going to play for you.
Starting point is 00:06:01 What's his last name? His real last name. It starts with Al? El? Yes. But I want just to play the audio for you first. I want to play the audio for you first. Chris?
Starting point is 00:06:11 Al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-alvarenga. Alvarenga. Oh, my gosh. Yes. No, she did not. No. That is what she says. Wait, what's his real last name?
Starting point is 00:06:22 Chris. Al-A-Lvarenga. Alvary. Alvvvvvvvang. She said, Chris? A la . She said it twice. You hear the teacher in the background.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Correcting her. I can hear, obviously, I feel like she's Latin. I'm pretty sure. Yes, you can tell. That's one. I'm wondering if because it rolled off the tongue so easy, was that his nickname maybe? Like a self-imposed?
Starting point is 00:06:49 No. I'm like I said that big because I feel like he's probably ran, not ran through that, but he's probably gone through that. His whole life. That's what the comment section, one of the first, like, big comments is that's what he's probably heard, his whole life. Yeah. But you got to think it's graduation.
Starting point is 00:07:07 His dad's there. His mom's there. Mortified. Family. Yeah. In front of everybody. If you thought your last name was bad, there's an Alvarenga walking around town. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:07:19 I had never heard of that last name, to be honest. Yeah. They're walking around calling up. Chris. Oh, I'm so glad he's getting it. Oh. She really said the whole thing. She said the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Twice. She didn't really know how to say it. I feel her pain. It's like telling him to go all that. Yeah. But it also feels like what was pranks when somebody tries to make you mess up? It does, but. Oh, bro.
Starting point is 00:07:40 That's real life. It has to be one of those last. Has he ever messed up your guy's name? They mess up my last name all the time. Condi. Condi. Condi. Condy.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Oh, careful. Careful. Careful. Careful. Alvaranga, chill out, chill out. And I'm like, just, it's cone with a D. Conde? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:56 But they've caught you other things, huh? Yeah. Like what? Like condom. Oh, yeah. That didn't even cross my mind. That's the first thing that crosses my mind. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:08:06 You too, Jose? Wow, you don't want everyone? They butch through your name? No. My name? What? Say it out loud, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:15 That she never thinks about using that. Oh. Because I pop, I get it. Ha, ha, ha. But I was going to say, Wait, what? I was going to say, okay, it's an acronym. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:29 It's an acronym. I don't, it's an acronym. Wait, what? What did you pop? No, it's an acronym. The first word is pool. The second word is prey. The third word is prey.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Duh. It's safe. What's going on in the world today? Find out. Still trying to process it. I don't want to. Go all varenga. Go all oranga.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Pop that don't stop! Pop that don't stop! That's what I was thinking about. That's how to. I know you do, Angie. We know you do. All right. Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:03 I do want to prepare you, before I get into Shadows, I do want to prepare you for this weekend. We spoke about it at the beginning of the show that it's President Trump's birthday this weekend, right? And there's going to be a whole parade and celebration. And it's also the 250th, I believe, anniversary for the Army, the U.S. Army. So I guess they're going to do a parade that's for both outside and D.C. and all of that.
Starting point is 00:09:33 The forecast does say rain. Yes. Thank you, God. But it does still seem like it may be a show of like, wow, everybody loves me. Look at me. I'm so great and all of that. So many people came out in the rain. So many people.
Starting point is 00:09:47 It's not just like it. It's the biggest crowd. You know, prepare to be triggered this weekend by what you see on social media if you're not already and what's happening in Los Angeles. Like, just prepare for it all. On whichever, I guess, like a better term, side of the fence that you're on, you're probably going to be, if we're out here like you are and very empathetic towards what's happening with these ice raids and these people that are being detained and taken from their families, you are probably going to see people in your face saying, ha ha this weekend because it seems to be like that uh yeah trump so like all of that you're going to see that for his birthday they're going to be celebrating so it might be in your face about it uh you know one thing that i was telling you guys too before when we when we first started the show
Starting point is 00:10:35 is that i saw a clip where trump was on a cnn podcast not excuse me not a cnn podcast a new york post podcast and he was saying like what he would do different or what is different between this term and his first term yeah Which, low-key, his first term being the way that it was, allowed for a lot of us to be like, oh, it's not going to be that bad. Like, he threatened about a wall and that was it. Like, it wasn't too crazy. You know, you saw that rhetoric everywhere.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yeah, we just saw that he was a lot of talk. Yes, yes. Exactly that. And you know, I was constantly thinking, like, yeah, because he still had to gain our favor in order to get that second term. The second term is, like, hey, I'm not, like, this is, like, you guys can't do anything. You can't. I don't have to, I guess, gain your favor for another term. Unless he's trying to do the whole third turn.
Starting point is 00:11:22 But just listen to what he said and how he said it as it pertains to Los Angeles, a president versus his own city. Because we're the United States. We're the United States. In an interview with the New York Post Pod Force One, President Donald Trump explained how he is approaching his second term differently. Well, as an example, I can be stronger on an attack. on Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yes. Okay. I think bringing in the National Guard four years ago or eight years ago would have been more difficult. Dude. Okay. I thought I was tripping. That's exactly what I'm talking about when I'm like, are we under attack? Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:09 You know what I mean? He literally said the words attack. Attack. An attack on Los Angeles. Yes. Attack is a big word. It is. But it's like we're your own country, dog.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Like it's just really weird. And I guess that's where we see these starting to see these lines of like, oh, okay, no longer is it like you can have differing opinions, which is, I guess, one of the most beautiful things about America that even if there's opinions you don't like out there, the fact that people have the right to have those opinions and to speak freely. And it just feels like there might be less and less of that as time goes on. And should you have a differing opinion, that means you're immediately an op.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Yeah. And they have a chance to... An attack on Los Angeles. Have an attack on you for that. That is not AI. That's not. That's not. That's not.
Starting point is 00:12:54 That's not real him. Because like you hear attack and you think of like wars of like other countries. Other countries. Stuff like that. You don't think of... Your own city. Your own nation. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:04 By your own president. First of all. We're going to invade Los Angeles. Like, bro, what do you mean? We're all America. Yeah. But that, I guess that part, it strikes me because often when you're getting into these debates on social media or with other people.
Starting point is 00:13:19 It's like, no, it's not that. It's the specific group. Or it's because, or it's this part of that specific group. And he's like, and to be honest, I'm looking at it like, no, he hate the whole, I feel like he hate the whole state. He definitely hates Los Angeles. For sure. And it's not to be, I guess, not to discredit or ignore the fact that we're booming.
Starting point is 00:13:40 California is booming. Los Angeles is booming. The Olympics are coming here. The World Cup is coming here. Dodgers won the World Series. Like we up. Yep. Kendrick.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Tap that. You know? Everything. Luca. Everything feels like, wow, Los Angeles is winning. And the only person that may feel that is like the worst thing is like if you don't like L.A. It's like, oh, look at Los Angeles having all these good things.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Like, what can I do? And look at Gavin Newsom. And look at this. And California is a big economy up there with other countries, not even in, I guess, in competition with states anymore of how big and booming it is out here. Yeah. That's how people in the South feel. Like, a lot of people like that.
Starting point is 00:14:19 They don't like Los Angeles for that reason because how L.A. has everything. The weather. Yeah. Oh, too liberal, quote unquote, right? So it's like, they all look at Trump and they're like, oh, my God, yes, this is what we want. Attack L.A. And it's like, bro. But that's insane to say.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Like, your own people, your own nation, dude. And also, so everybody's clear, he said attack Los Angeles. He didn't say minus my supporters or anything like that. You know what I'm saying? Like, I think only. Orange County safe, to be honest. I think Orange County is definitely safe. Honeyton Beach.
Starting point is 00:14:50 No, there's ever in Sanana. Yeah, but I'm saying. He specifically said Los Angeles. You know what I'm saying? That accounts for all of Los Angeles. Doesn't matter if you support him or not. It's the majority here that probably doesn't. So I feel like he does not rock with us, including you that loves him and wants to get him
Starting point is 00:15:08 tattooed on your face. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a, it was a crazy clip to hear. And I don't think that I've ever seen that. and I don't want to get all extreme scared and paranoid. But those things happen during civil wars, Doug.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Like, yeah? That's what you hear. It's your own country. It's an infighting. And I'm like, I don't want it to lead to that. But when we have a sitting president and like, yeah, I could, I didn't do this last term, but now I can send in the National Guard on my attack on Los Angeles. He's not saying keeping Los Angeles safe or the rhetoric that were, that other people are saying like,
Starting point is 00:15:43 no, he means this or this. No. He's out here. Yeah. Let's change that and go into some shout-outs. Shout-outs. Yes. Anthony wants to give a shout-out to his brother.
Starting point is 00:15:53 To his brother who's going away on vacation. He just said vacation. Vacation with that. Oh, man. Oh, quote-unquote. He just wanted to give him a shout-out really quick. Leslie once says, on days like this, most recently, we've had experience heartache, but I still look forward to Brownback Daily.
Starting point is 00:16:09 You guys make us feel safe. I appreciate that, man. Big hug to you. Birthday shout-outs. Joana wants to give a big. birthday shout out to her nephew, nephew Manuel. He turns the big 10.
Starting point is 00:16:19 He says, Tom, Tia, Joey, and nana, love you so much. 10. Baby girl. One old a decade. Bruce wants to shout out his wife, Stephanie Perez,
Starting point is 00:16:27 who turned 28. All right. Big 28. You're getting there. You're getting there. To where? Almost. Go, go.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Oh, that's great. Too home, Greg. Relax. Happy 10th birthday to Brooke from your mom and dad. Brooke loves listening every morning. She met us back at the back-to-school event. Amazing. She said it was the highlight of her year.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Oh, that could have here. She even has pictures of what, like, all of us, too. That's sweet. Incredible. I hope I see you this time around. We're setting up to do that this summer as well, right before you guys go to school. So Brooke, I'm personally inviting you, okay? Do you remember that one time?
Starting point is 00:17:02 Got a new backpack for you. The Dodger parade, I was like, I meant your niece, Brooklyn. I thought that that's what her. Well, because she caused herself by niece because she is. Brooklyn. Yeah, yeah. She's your niece technically. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:12 That's a big girl. Yeah, that's her. And then Chris wants to give up. Shoutout to Karina and he says great job on birthing our baby son. Baby boy A-son. Come on. Incredible work. Incredible work.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Thank you for your service. A graduation shout out. A graduate. Okay. Go ahead, brother. Sochi wants to give a graduation shout out to her. To herself? To herself?
Starting point is 00:17:33 Yes. Okay. Sochi. You go, Sochi. Yeah. That's all. That's it. She didn't include like where she's graduating from?
Starting point is 00:17:43 No, great. Nothing. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay, I want to preface what I'm about to do with, yes, we know that Vic is going to win Simp of the week. We know that.
Starting point is 00:17:53 But. Simp or Pimp. Simps, Simps, Simps, Simps, Sim. What I'ma Lettizia. Filling up from Maximo. His gastritis is getting really bad. Do it. Do it.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Do the thing. Do the thing. Is it Simp or is it Pimp? To tell someone. you are in a relationship when you're not in a relationship. Tell someone you're like, let's say like you're like, hey Angie and you're let's say pretend you're single. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Pretend you're single. And then I were like, Angie, are you single? And you're like, no. Oh, this is a different. I used to do that all the time. Okay. Just so like they can leave me alone. You had an imaginary boyfriend?
Starting point is 00:18:39 Yeah, just, oh yeah, I would say that all the time. No, no. I thought this was going to a different direction here. I have a friend. Okay. I have a friend that has a camcorder. Oh, that sounds creepy. And he's gone wild.
Starting point is 00:18:52 It's not gone wild. It's not a raging. No. It looks like that. He's trying to be raged. His name is Greg. Oh, Greg? So Greg's been, when did you get this camcorder?
Starting point is 00:19:02 Last week. Last week. And he's already on his tremendous lives, okay? Oh, my God, Greg. So over the weekend, I don't know if you follow him. Did you put it on your camera page or on your camera page? Or on his page. And it's just a video.
Starting point is 00:19:14 of him following around two girls that are out with him. And I was like, bro, this video looks like it's about to lead up to something. It's pretty crazy. Oh, my God. It's a good video. No, I'll put it up. I'll put it up like morning's once. But it's two girls and they're having a great time.
Starting point is 00:19:28 But Greg, like you don't see Greg, but Greg is filming, you know? Like, what are I about to see? If you ever saw the old Girls Gone Wild video like infomercials, it looks just like that. No, it doesn't. Yes, VHS style too. It is vicious. And then, like, the girl's like, ha-ha, like, flirting with the camera almost. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:47 All right. So Greg is doing that. And I was like, bro, that's insane. And then he's like, yeah, one asked me if I'm single. Uh-huh. She did. Okay. Because she's probably thinking, like, this person's filming, he probably, you probably.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Yeah. Wait a minute. See him. Question. So these girls are just random girls you started following? No, one of them I know, but the other one I had just met. Like, literally that night. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Okay. But the one that I had just met asked me possible. Like, because I would assume so. Like this guy's filming us, hosting us, right? Is he interested? I would think, I don't know. So she's like, hey, are you single? And he's like, no, but he is single.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Okay, that's the thing. I'm single, but I say no, I'm single. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm single, but I say no, because I don't want to be in a relationship. But then they're like, so you're taking. And I'm like, no, I'm not taken, but I'm just single. Okay, no, see, that gets complicated. You should just stop it and, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Because I'm not interested. I'm not interested in a relationship. I'm not even interested in like anything. I'm just kind of, I got my camera recorder. That's what I'm doing. Don't say that. I'm just a camera guy now. Ew.
Starting point is 00:20:53 You guys do your thing. Okay. When you're filming them, like, where are you guys? Do you have a Yankee hat on? No, I don't have a Yankee hat on. It's just out like everything that we're doing. Like I have, that's just a little bit of finish. They're covered up too, right?
Starting point is 00:21:06 Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. I just hear a camera recorder and you being. It's just a cool. What's a camera recorder? Both of you. That's a hand.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Oh, that's that. Cam quarter. Cam quarter. Both of my. Everybody loves it. What are your USD? It's that.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Everybody loves it. Camry quarter. What is that? Nobody has a problem with it. Like, whenever I'm recording, like, everybody's like, oh, that's so cool. Like, yeah, I want to see the footage. Like, that's awesome. And I'm like, thank you.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Okay. Well, now you heard him. Do you give them beats? No, I'll give them beats. No, no. But no, that's. But he did. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:21:38 That's what I say. I'm like, I'm single, but. It just feels a little simpy to me. No. I think the correct thing to say would be I'm single but not available. Or I'm not looking for anything right now. That's what I say. But then they're like, but you're still single at the end of the day.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Because you are. You are. But you're not looking or you're not available. But I feel like if I say I'm single. Not ready to mingle. Yeah, exactly that. And also you're giving mixed signals because legit, you're filming these girls. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:05 How is that a big signal? It's just a fun night out. A fun night out? You don't see it, huh? I don't see. Greg's gotten wild, you guys. I see the aesthetic of it. Aesthetic.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Oh, you're just making content. It's content. Yeah, it's content creative. This guy. All right. So then, is she seemed that he was filming her just for content? Nothing crazy. But she was like, oh, I think he likes me here.
Starting point is 00:22:29 She was trying to, like, she was flirting, but I was. Yeah. A girl's not going to be asking you. Like, oh, are you single? Usually it's the guy asking the girl. I got it like that But anyways I'm scared
Starting point is 00:22:41 I'm scared Can I both scared Because I've just seen a lot of things In the news recently And I'll be on your side Of like the courtroom Just know
Starting point is 00:22:51 It's I don't know Wait Wait wait It just becomes Oh it's the camera With the camera The camcorder Yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:22:58 No it's aesthetic It's nice You know It makes It's nice Things are cool Can you not leader on I'm not leader on
Starting point is 00:23:06 That's the thing Are you texting her? Go film Muberto at the protest, bro. Don't film these girls. I feel like that wasn't leading her. That kind of like just shut it down. But she kind of took it as you're still single. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:17 But you are. You're not. Single not available. I'm just not available in general. But your heart's taken? Oh my. But you left your heart at the G&X tour. Oh.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Zip. Zip. Sit here. Check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your head. We need your head. the line, I mean phone line.
Starting point is 00:23:39 We got you for the homie help line. Tony needs our help. Tony. Tony. And he does not want to hide his identity at all. Oh, he. Yeah. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:23:50 For real, bro. Usually they're like, oh, can you change my name? Yeah. Or sometimes when we put their names, they're like, bro, you put my name on blast. Yeah. No, this one's like, no, leave it. Literally. I'm a gangster.
Starting point is 00:24:02 First line. Okay, Tony. No need to be anonymous. L.O.L. can use Tony You got straight to it Okay Antonio
Starting point is 00:24:10 He said so again Basically been with my girl In this relationship For a few months now Relationship is good All smooth running Can't complain Oh nice
Starting point is 00:24:21 Haven't been in any arguments Whatsoever All right He said I live in San Diego And she lives in L.A But we definitely Make it work
Starting point is 00:24:28 What's our drive on that brother The OC is about Hour to Half LA LA About three Three and a half Two and a half
Starting point is 00:24:36 Two and a half. With traffic. Wow. Yeah. So he said, so Sunday, I was super bored and hopped online and started talking to my homie. And he said, I have something to tell you for a few days now, but I don't know how to tell you. So Tony said, I said, spit it out. So we went, we went out and he told me.
Starting point is 00:24:55 So your girl, she's not who you think she is. What does that even mean? This is what he said. He said. Yeah, my stomach hers right now for him. I was on the hub. And I saw your girl in a video. And I don't think it's a good ad be it to be with her big dog.
Starting point is 00:25:11 On page 16. You should confront her. After scrolling a bit. Ew. I'm so gross. That's so nasty. He saw her. He saw his homies girl in an explicit video online.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Hey, that means he saw the cover of it and it was like clicked it. Well, maybe. And it was like, wait a second. Hold on. Yeah. I know this girl. I know. Angie,
Starting point is 00:25:37 what was. I'm just trying to give Tony's friends the benefit of the downed thing like wait, like is it her? Let me just
Starting point is 00:25:42 make sure and then he's like oh! Let me put this tink it off. I need to make sure and watch all the way to the end.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Yeah, hold on. Let me put this tissue to the side really quick. Go ahead, let thee. Yes. She may have something very, very appealing
Starting point is 00:25:55 that has its own search button or category. Yeah, PLV. What? No, Greg. Greg.
Starting point is 00:26:04 What? We're talking about. Pretty great. I'm just getting ahead of it. Yeah. But did you do it? Probably. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:17 So, yeah, you know what I'm saying? She may have some very defining features. Yeah. Maybe her background is something that people look at. Oh, like she got a great future behind her. Probably. Oh, yeah, yeah. She needed some plumbing, so she called a plumber over.
Starting point is 00:26:31 No, not those. What? You're weird. Oh, no. You're talking about something else. Do you think she was pro or amateur? No, stop. She ordered a pizza?
Starting point is 00:26:40 Who ordered the sausage pizza right here? It doesn't matter. Wait, wow, he saw her. Actually, we should ask him, how did he see her?
Starting point is 00:26:47 Like, how did he say he found her? What was he searched? What was answered in the search bar? Yeah. Yeah. I'll ask why you keep reading. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:55 I know we're not done reading, huh? No, he said, he told her, I don't think it's a good idea to be with her. You should confront her. All right?
Starting point is 00:27:01 So he said, homie sent me proof. and si era my that is my girl wait so then Tony's friend went back and watched it took a screenshot or whatever
Starting point is 00:27:12 she doesn't do that with me she never showed me this one oh okay so he said Tony said so I proceeded to dial her number to wake her up
Starting point is 00:27:24 and demand an explanation why she didn't tell me at the beginning he said she didn't really tell me why but she did apologize for not telling me but I need your help, brown bag.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Do I accept her apology and stay with her? Or la Mando to Commer Gancitos? Please say that in English so that people don't think. I feel like it's more of a like send her to hell. Like just, you know, send her off. Oh, gotcha. So Gancitos, which they're like these little treats like a twinkie. Twinkie.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Yeah, yeah. And so he's like, go eat a Twinkie essentially. Yeah, that's what your girl was, bro. Stop. A twinkie. He's not even mean. I asked him like, I don't even want to know, actually. Yeah, but like how...
Starting point is 00:28:05 Okay, so Tony said that his friend just said he went through the site. But it's like, okay, I get it, I get it. The friend might not want to tell things, right? Yeah. Tony himself met her online. Okay. Oh, okay. On Instagram.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Got it. He said, by the way, I'm 37. She's 26. Okay. All right. Okay. So he's... I don't know.
Starting point is 00:28:30 11 years. You find out there's some type of... content that your girl has made. Yeah. We don't know if it's present. Actually, is it a, is it? And ask how long they've been dating for? That's true.
Starting point is 00:28:43 You said a few months. Oh, I'm not, I'm not, fresh. Not like a year. Gotcha. I'm not going to lie. I've had this situation happen to me once, right? Wait. I didn't talk to her, but like I was kind of, her and I were like, eh?
Starting point is 00:28:55 Like, like doing our stuff, right? And then I found out she was a dancer, like months later, and it made me so mad. Like, I was heated and I stopped talking to it. She didn't tell you? Yeah, she didn't tell me. You didn't, like, have any suspicions when there was a poll in her. There was, like, no signs at all. Like, no signs.
Starting point is 00:29:14 She wasn't, like, tired. So she's living a double life. In a way. Is she a trucker? No, she's not a trucker. So she never. She, like, she didn't disappear at night, like, when you were texting her. No, like, that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Like, it was just, like, a, like, it was one night where, like, we had stopped talking. And we had stopped talking. And we still followed each. other okay but then she posted a dancer but that was like wait I know what that looks like like also let's not correlate dancers with yeah yeah yeah but like yeah but different industries but it's still like you don't know it's something that trips you out yeah it's something that you would hope to know no but off the top yeah you want to know that and then it just made me so mad and I was like oh like I don't I
Starting point is 00:29:58 didn't want to talk to after that and I stopped yeah okay but that's I I feel too you you understand where he's coming from I understand what you have the like, should I tell her to dip? Because honestly, like, I would think that the ones that make it up there aren't the first ones you ever made, maybe. Oh, yeah, this is, yeah, this is not. It may lead to, like, confidence even in doing, like, making, creating. Yeah, you usually don't score, like, a hole in one when you first play golf.
Starting point is 00:30:24 You know what I'm saying? Like, it takes some time. So it may be something that she has with the experience of either, not even necessarily because, ugh, I hate going into this topic. but I know there's the amateur part of it but also like even just being okay being filmed
Starting point is 00:30:40 being that comfortable creating right like whole production so I'm wondering if also would get to you like who's the person in the video you know like how you know like what is
Starting point is 00:30:52 what is that person you did you upload did they upload what do you tell me you filmed with Johnny Sins yeah I think I'm right I asked if it was a
Starting point is 00:31:02 recent video and he said no not recent but it was on the first page when he scrolled first page she's talented she's still an adult film actress he says she's rich so he didn't know that's how she got her and he says and well yeah yeah because i asked like who is in the person in the video he says yeah tu saves con otto actor popular and he gave me the name of the guy so it's like a so maybe they're no how did you not know No. Maybe they're known in like that industry. Sorry, I'm like yelling at this full. So, before.
Starting point is 00:31:38 This is happening in like real time. It is. Okay, but I will. Still on the front page? Yeah. So dumb. Tell us to the link. So dumb.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Are you find out your girl is like, I. Secret life, right? Yeah, essentially. It's not your girl. Like you have, you built a relationship. Is she rich? No. She's your girl.
Starting point is 00:32:00 She lives in L.A. You live in S.D. I forget about that. Does she have health benefits? Yeah. I don't. You guys have to give him the advice. You are the men of the show.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Because it would make me want to go into the industry. What? I don't know. Like, might as well. All right. You went hurt. Free Greg. Free Greg.
Starting point is 00:32:20 She already has a foot in the door. Like, I don't know. She has experience. Oh. I mean, the biggest part is like, obviously, if that's something, he doesn't seem, he does not seem appalled by that being her line of work, it seems like, why didn't you tell me? The trust is broken, which is the most important part of a relationship. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Maybe he could deal with that part of it. If that's like her gig, maybe some dudes like it. Some dudes are like, hell yeah. You know what I'm saying? But they would want to be in on it and know about it. There's also that people hide it because they don't want to. They don't want to feel shame. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:56 At first they don't want that. They want you to love them for who they are. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And this girl didn't deny it. She was just saying like, oh, I'm sorry. So at least she owned up to it.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Yeah. How was work today, baby? So Tony sent us a DM and told us a story about him being with a girl. He lives in San Diego. She lives in L.A. They met online. They made online. They make it work according to him.
Starting point is 00:33:24 I like how him being like, oh, I jumped online because I was bored and I met her online. He means on social media. Yeah, exactly. Oh, gosh. You can't hop online like before. I hopped on the internet webs and... I hopped on my desktop. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Oh, he's 37, he said. We're 37, Angie. Stop looking at me. I'm 37, Angie. Oh, I wasn't even looking at you. I was looking at Vick. I know, but like, stop looking at 37-year-olds like, oh, my God, they're ancient. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Girl. Damn, Angie. Damn, Angie. Actually, three-year difference. I'm 34 this year. Damn, Angie. Okay, all right. So he said that one of his homies, he was talking to one of his homies.
Starting point is 00:33:58 His homie's like, hey, bro, you know, your girl actually seen her in a video online on the hub. And one of those videos. In a thumbnail. And I think you should confront her about this because I feel like that's her. Turns out it was her. He sent the homie sent Tony the proof. He saw it. He called her up.
Starting point is 00:34:21 He said, why didn't you tell me? You know, she apologized. And now he wants to know if he should accept her apology and stay with her. or send her to Eat a Twinkie. Yeah, to eat a Twinkie. And I'm sorry, I'm doing investigation.
Starting point is 00:34:36 We're trying to investigate. We have, Brownback has launched an investigation. So you know how sometimes you just have your spidey sentences in your life? Yeah, yeah, yeah, intuition. Because it is a trip, is it a trip? Like, how do we know? Like, no, no, not. How do we know?
Starting point is 00:34:48 Like, how do you proceed with the, with a relationship after finding out your partner it engages in this for work? Like that's her work. Yeah. Her profession. So it would be a lot of like mind, I guess, mental health type of vision. Because you're her dude, but then in a video. It's something else.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Yeah. Other things happen, right? So I'm just wondering like, what's that mindset like? How is it to date one? Because also they need love too. I know. Yeah. But they need like that companionship and to have partners.
Starting point is 00:35:22 You can't look at that. Like it's just. Yeah. They might have other parts of her, but you have her heart. But I guess just the way that he is speaking right now, we're like, hold on. Like, are you even hurt? And see, he said, I'm kind of hurt. I'm just hurt.
Starting point is 00:35:39 She didn't tell me from the beginning. I was like, oh, okay. Understanding? Okay, I'm very understanding. So there's mixed feelings, I guess. I kind of don't want her to because I ask like, are you cool with her continuing and like being other partners? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:52 I guess kind of don't want her to. But at the same time, I don't know. I can't stop her. been doing it for seven years, I'd most likely have to have, like, a serious combo with her. Okay. And so then I asked, and you've seen her in real life, right? Good. Like in person?
Starting point is 00:36:08 Yeah. Because then we started thinking, like, wait, does she know she's in a relationship with you? Yeah. Because it might be something different. Something else. The distance, you know. And he says, yes, of course, we've been dating, gone out and everything. And I was like, oh, okay, do you have a photo of her, like with her?
Starting point is 00:36:24 And he said, I don't. I'm not photogenic. so I don't really take photos. What? But his profile, that's a picture of him, unless that's on him. And he pulled a star? He says he's not photogenic and he's, and he pulled it off social media. True.
Starting point is 00:36:41 How did he? He pulled it off social media and he's not photogenic. Yeah. Greg is, no, Greg is asking me to figure out how to do it. Yeah, because I take some pretty good pictures. I'm more photogenic than that. Yeah, how is this possible? Maybe he's getting catfish.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Maybe it's someone that's like, oh, yeah, baby. Using her picture. And using her photos. Maybe it was the actual friend that hit him up. Have you seen catfish? It's a whole crazy. It's always someone that you know. Man Taito.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Yeah, it's something crazy like that. So maybe that guy, I don't know, or some, I don't know. And he's like, no, I've seen her. Okay. I've been around her. Your homie has. We too, bro. We've seen her too.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Yeah. She puts in effort. He says the most time she comes to San Diego. Okay. So she goes over. He doesn't come out. here. That's what he's saying. Okay. And so then we're asking like,
Starting point is 00:37:31 how did you pull her? Yeah. Yeah, because that makes no sense. He said he mattered on social media, right? He doesn't take pictures. He's not photogenic. That makes, it was absolutely no. To be able to pull somebody like that. And do you spell feito in Spanish? F-E-I-T-O.
Starting point is 00:37:46 If you're, okay, I'm asking. Unless he met, no, because he's... And also he said that he can't call in because he's at work, but bro, you are texting me right away. You might as well call in. So. Otherwise, we're going to start imagining other things. She goes to San Diego when she needs a break from work.
Starting point is 00:38:04 What does that suppose mean? Yeah, what does that mean? Like when she, like when work has been a little too hard on her, she goes to San Diego. Yeah, to the stress. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Okay. Oh, I get where you go. I don't know. I don't. What are you guys saying? You should just say it because there's people that are like me and I don't get it. Just say it. I know.
Starting point is 00:38:26 I'm just saying like she would when she go like she's had a rough week at work yeah you know like what boss is just down her throat and like you know she slammed and stuff like that like it's like okay well I want to go see my my man in San Diego have a regular life and and relax you know what is that what is that he said letty what oh oh gosh oh I'm out of here what what what what I'm sorry we're going off in the DM right this is happening live It is. Because he says he's not photogenic, so that's why I don't have photos. And I said, well, how did you pull her if you're feito?
Starting point is 00:39:03 And he says, yo feo no, what's so? Like, I'm not ugly. And then he sent a photo himself. This looks like my Tio after a haircut. Okay. So he has self-climix dad. My Tio on his Facebook. What the heck?
Starting point is 00:39:20 Tony. That is my Tio's Facebook picture right now. And he did send those photos of her, but I will tell you the photo. Some photos seem to be like very provocative photos. Professional. Maybe photos not necessarily sent directly to him versus post it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:37 There's a deeper darker. These are like O-F photos. Yeah. That's like an O-F photo. KVR, HD1, Los Angeles, Power 106, L.A's number one for hip-hop. I know there's so much more serious stuff going on. I know this. Yes, we do.
Starting point is 00:39:50 And I promise you we're doing our best to tap in and spread awareness and all of that. And this is still the homie helpline, man. And this guy, he's... Someone's realized he's going through it. And I think he's making us go through it. Because I feel like now I'm in a documentary. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Oh, my God. What? Me and Jose are doing some deep investigation. Hey, yo, not on air, brothers. No, no. No. Okay, well, you have to say something. We're on the radio.
Starting point is 00:40:19 We're literally live. We can't just keep going. The name that he gave us is not matching you up with the name that's popping up for that picture. for the girl oh you did a uh reverse yeah you did it but she he said her real name is mary yeah that's not her real name that's not her name that's not popping up as oh tony yeah fool colin literally right maybe it's your stage name no she says that's her real name he said that's her real name and the dm's he's saying that's her real name okay well let's help our guy out yeah tony's going through it
Starting point is 00:40:52 let's let's jump into the delusion with her friend tony who believes he's dating this really this really beautiful girl that does videos and her his homie told him, hey, I don't know if you know this. I know that girl. I've seen that girl. Does his homie actually exist?
Starting point is 00:41:09 All right, 81852059. How do we help? And we have Cynthia in L.A. Cynthia, good morning. Cynthia. Hi, Cynthia. What up, Cynthia? Hey, Gorgeous, good morning.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Hey, Cynthia, we're tripping out right now, Cynthia. We don't really know what to make of the situation. but what would you what advice would you give to someone that recently finds out their significant other has a lifestyle that they didn't tell them about and it's just more like on the adult film star situation okay so I feel like no matter what we don't put all of our eggs in one basket because you just don't communication is key once you start talking to somebody you have to understand that they had a life before you and they're going to have a life with you and after you shoppers close chapters open, you're just inserted in it. You need to be, you need to communicate. If you found out this part of her, you can sit down and communication is key. Communication is key, bra. Communicate like, you know, do you feel like we can go somewhere?
Starting point is 00:42:09 How do you feel about this? How do you feel like this? Like, you can't get mad of her for her past life. Like, oh, my homie's seeing you. Okay. Cool, but they have they had her? No. You're supposed to feed her, we feed her mind and her body.
Starting point is 00:42:23 But they have had her. Yeah. Yeah, they have had her on video. Everybody but the homies had had it. Just on video. It's on video, too. But was it with him? Oh, true.
Starting point is 00:42:34 No. It was her past. No, it was her past. No, it's still happening. It's still happening. It's literally not your fault, but I get what you're saying. Like, even women that have these, that have these professions, it's their profession at the end of the day. It's their work, you know?
Starting point is 00:42:54 Yeah. There's guys in the same profession. They probably have girls that date them too, you know? Yeah. Is she willing to stop? Oh, she's a... Yeah, she's a star. Oh.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Okay, so if you look at the profession and you look deep into it, it's not everything that you see. So, like, look at it, look at the documentaries. It's not everything that you think. Like, you know, it ain't like a chew-choo. Kids don't listen. Come on a train. Right.
Starting point is 00:43:22 It's just like, you have to look at it. can't do it, but if she's willing to stop, what can he provide? What can he do for her? Oh, that's good. Like, they have to sit there and really come together and communicate and talk, like, if you do this, but you do this, would you be able to get a job? Like, they have to really talk about it because why would she put all her eggs to his basket and he feels the type of way if his friends keep bagging on him family because, you know,
Starting point is 00:43:47 keep our petty, I am one of those. We do it with tea. But if he can't take it and he snapped now that he didn't got her out of her comfort zone or her financial, like, this is paying all her bills and everything. So if you go with you, start dealing with you and don't have another way to take care of herself after you, what is she going to do? Like, are you willing to stay with her? Are you actually willing in your heart to open up? I understand where she came from.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Why she didn't tell you accepted, finally get her to stop and, like, build a life with her. If you don't see that, then why are you playing with your time and hers? Yeah, because it's been. Like, I understand her. She's been doing it for seven years, so it's clearly she's not going to stop. She's going to keep going. That's her, yeah, that's her job. That's her, she's making a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:44:31 She's a popular one, too. Yeah. I mean, if it fall out, she's going to retire anyway. I mean, he's like, who are you going to retire for? I like, who are you going to retire for? Even if you, like, letting everybody, like, your profession, y'all are a radio host. Like, y'all are people's, like, you know, people look up to y'all, want to be y'all. and spot like in everything and you have somebody like oh i don't like your lifestyle like i know it ain't
Starting point is 00:44:57 bad but everybody where we go they know you and everything and they want you to stop it what are you going to provide for me to stop this because at the end of the day this is not only my dream and my passion it's paying my bills my financial stability yeah and if you leave me and i'm dependent on you then what i'm what am i going to are y'all guys ready for this step it's a big it's a big step getting somebody to stop their career and if you don't provide for them like if you don't provide for them like they're used to they're going to have some kind of resentment towards you and then eventually
Starting point is 00:45:26 you're going to want that person to step up and start helping and if they don't or if they don't come to your standards you're going to get mad but you forgot what you took them out of and what you promised. Yeah. Yeah. All she got to do is smack that Amex on the table, that metal one. Baby, I might smack it forward because I'm broke.
Starting point is 00:45:43 I need some money to come. I'm like, come on. Cynthia, thank you for your input. Thank you for your smile too. I appreciate you. You guys have a wonderful day. And with everything going on, everybody keep their head up
Starting point is 00:45:57 because times are hard and y'all see what's happening. Thank you, Cynthia. Love to you. Have a good day. Thank you. All right. So the homie, Tony,
Starting point is 00:46:09 hit us up. And reportedly, allegedly, according to him, he's in a long-distance relationship with someone who met on Instagram, okay? Then the other day, his home was like, hey, that girl you're dating. I seen her. in a video. And then he was like, what?
Starting point is 00:46:20 Send me the video. Then he said he called her and said, hey, what's up? Is this you? And she said, yeah, it's me. I've been doing this for seven years. It's kind of who I am. So he's tripping, like, should I have, like, should I just send her out of here? Like, or should I still be with her? Okay. And then he sent his photos of her. I didn't, he asked, like, you want to see photos there?
Starting point is 00:46:41 And then just sent them. Oh, good. Photos that he sent. Explicit, yeah. Explicit. And then he sent a photo himself. But he's not photogenic. It doesn't really match.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Yeah. It doesn't really match. She said, he said, it's rare I take photos of myself. I don't know. You send me one and then there's, oh, okay, so I haven't, I don't feel comfortable. I'm not photogenic. But she tells me that I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm soie guapo. That I'm 37, but I look like I'm in my 20s.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Oh. Okay. Sounds like you're pretty photogenic. And then so I'm like, hey. like if she has a big following because he says she has a big following I'm like does she post you or does she rep you like especially with someone a big following
Starting point is 00:47:26 it may be helpful maybe helpful for her to be like hey I have a man or whatever and then he says yeah she had switched to in a relationship so now I'm thinking Facebook because you cannot do that so I'm like oh okay show me and then he said I ain't got it
Starting point is 00:47:43 because it's deactivated because I hardly used it but she showed me she showed me and been on her story several. And I was like, okay, well, if she leaves this life behind, would you be able to, like, hold her down? Yeah, I'd take care of her. I'm financially stable.
Starting point is 00:47:59 As a matter of fact, we might move in together here in San Diego by the end of the year. Vic, this is how you sound sometimes. I wish I was just... I wish I was just delusional. Dude, is he serious? First of all, like... I'm handsome.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Second of all. That's what he said. It's okay, just know that I said it and then get back to see it. No, this is nuts, but I mean, I feel like he, I feel like he's, I don't know. I mean, if this is all how he's saying it is. Yeah, like it's playing out. Right? It's like, I feel like he's okay with it.
Starting point is 00:48:40 But also it's like, as a dude, you got to categorize, you know, what's going on, no pun intended. But it's like, okay, well, just, just have. this be your era that you're with a star you know what I'm saying like like oh like spread it out like enjoy the moment enjoy the moment like you don't have to like marry the girl or anything it's just like bro just enjoy the time that you have with her you know what I'm saying like you're you're not having to like pay or nothing to you don't have to pay you like bro it's like take advantage of the the perks and the benefits you know what I'm saying the benefits let's go to more phone calls and how would you handle like finding out the person that you've been dating for a few months has
Starting point is 00:49:18 a career in a certain industry that you're like, oh my gosh, why? And then your friends have seen her work. Ronald, Ronald in Orange. What's that Ronald? Ronald. Yes. Hello. Hello.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Talk to us. What would you tell this dude, Tony? I would tell him. It depends on, you know, if she was 100% honest up first at front, you know, saying like who she was, if you knew who she was, then accepted her for who she was, then a different story determining the future, you know what I mean? Yeah, I mean...
Starting point is 00:49:54 Got it. It came out now, though. Yeah. I mean, she wasn't, yeah, at all. She wasn't? Okay, well, she wasn't then. Then I guess they, all couples are meant to go through, you know, ups and downs together, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:08 and you can't give up on your purse. You just got to stick it out, you know, weather that storm, and then the couples that survived, that's the ones that have been through everything, you know what I mean? And they laugh. Yeah, no, but she goes through ups and downs for a living at work. Stop it. Ronald, don't.
Starting point is 00:50:24 Do not pay attention to people. So it's a little different. She does go through the storm. That's a secret right there. That's supposed to be, you know, like between a husband and a wife, you know what I'm saying? It's sacred. I have not no other way about it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:50:38 That's the only way it is. So, but. Let's go, Ronald. I appreciate you. Thank you for calling him, bro. Thank you, Ronald. Appreciate you. Stick it to her.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Have any of you? I've ever been too, like, in a relationship with someone and they're not in a relationship with you? Like, respectfully, has that happen? I've been, like, in love with somebody, but not like, and then they're just like, me about me. But not in a whole relationship. That's like, the loo-loo. That's like, that's too far. That's a little crazy.
Starting point is 00:51:06 Okay. So, so I asked him, I was like, hey, can we talk to her? Oh, good. And he says, no. I don't want her to find out. I know about it. I was going to talk to. her this weekend and somehow have her tell me.
Starting point is 00:51:20 But I was like, wait, I thought you called her at 2 a.m. Yeah. When your friend told you that. Yes. Yeah. And then he says, oh, yeah, L-O-L. This guy. No, Tony.
Starting point is 00:51:31 I'm scared. Tony, break up with her. Break up with her, Tony. You don't need her in her life. Girl, I'm saving you. 500 other thousand people know about you, girl. Like, we found her. We found her.
Starting point is 00:51:42 Me and Jose did investigations. He's just, he's delusional. That's it. I'm going to say that. You would think that he's not in a relationship. with this girl. He's getting played. No, he's getting played.
Starting point is 00:51:50 I don't know if sometimes you don't even need to play. And, like, it can be on one side alone. Yeah, maybe. Oh, like catfish? No, like, scammed. Like, he's like, he's like Stan right now. Yes. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:52:03 You don't understand how often that happens with girls that literally, they'll draw up that they have their own relationship with you. I'm just scared now. I'm not. I don't feel comfortable. Oh, you're right. Can we hit that girl up? Yeah. And be like, hey.
Starting point is 00:52:17 I mean, I can. And I'll do it for my Instagram. I'll do it. From my Instagram, I'll do it. Like, hey, girlie. Send me her Instagram account. It's in the chat. It's in the chat.
Starting point is 00:52:30 All right. Well, I guess I'm going to end homie helping for today. Yeah, please do. Yeah. I will see if I can get in contact with her and have her on tomorrow. I was just doing for you. It's fine. I'll do it.
Starting point is 00:52:40 I'll do some research. No, I got it. I'm a girl's girl. You're just a... I'm a girl too. No, you film them. That's what I'm saying. Her and I can maybe...
Starting point is 00:52:47 All right. And now the weather. With concrete storm. Perrido, that is going down your boy, concrete storm. June 12th, it's Thursday. Your weather is El Monte S.G. Valley, where all the baddies be. You're going to have a high of 84 degrees. So put it down for the homies.

Starting point is 00:53:53 You're going to have a high of 81 degrees. And if you know me, 81s means Kobe. City of Pekoyma, land of La Bamba. You're going to have an 84 degrees to shout us to the big homie. Danny Trejo, the big OG. Berrito. Shout out to him. I love him right there, man.
Starting point is 00:54:11 You know, do machete. Machete. By the way, the 80. points was Kobe 81 point game come on okay that's right that's right yeah really that you had to explain that yeah what I guess Greg because he was like that's not his jersey number
Starting point is 00:54:25 that's yeah it wasn't his jersey number no it's 81 points it's like the highest scoring point second to none yeah I feel like the number 81 is synonymous do not think about Kobe when I hear what do you think about you 80 this is the weather report this is the weather report okay yeah go ahead concrete go on the one only
Starting point is 00:54:40 concrete storm for brownback mornings on power 106 this is meiko That's me, Coctrine. All right, so Concrete did his weather report yesterday. And currently, he is in San Antonio. Yeah, San Antonio. San Antonio.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Hey, Concrete storms. Good morning. Yo, what's up? What's going on, guys? That's a lot going on over here right now, man. You sound serious. You sound serious. Because you did the weather report for L.A. for today.
Starting point is 00:55:08 But what's going on over there? We got, as soon as we got into bed. we got the the the there was a tornado warning and then we had 15 minutes 15 minutes to speak a refuge and to speak a bunker of sorts and man we didn't know what to do man I was I'm in calsonado I had no thoughts on how are you feeling now like what's going on what how is the tornado like well it was crazy because you know like people kept coming out of the rooms and we kept getting like you know like those amber alerts but it was tornado
Starting point is 00:55:43 alerts and just it was just you know I we never been through this so I was scared man I was I was scared I just I see a little bit of rain coming people start running outside I was I guess people are taking refuge and uh yeah I was really scared I'm not gonna lie yeah you got the alerts kind of how when we had the alerts for the fires where it's evacuation zone here so you you know those panics right yeah or the earthquake alerts you know like when they said like earthquake about to happen take refuge or You know? That's exactly what happened over here. And me and my girl were like, we're looking at each other like, damn, hey, put your can'tones on. Let's get out of here. Did either one of you start moving your body, like in a certain way? What do you?
Starting point is 00:56:27 Was it like a cyclone? This is a serious matter, Vic. But did she? I did not call baby back. Okay, it is serious. Are you okay? Are you okay? Is what I want to know.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Are you okay? That's the end? I'm physically, I'm fine. Emotionally, I'm distraught. Oh. Because this is your anniversary, no? Yeah, it's an anniversary weekend, man. We're out here trying to make it happen.
Starting point is 00:56:59 And, you know, I'm just scared, man. I'm just scared that this might happen again. Oh, gosh. I thought you were making it a storm. Yeah, because you name is concrete storms. You can't expect to be a weather person being named concrete storms and then not have to deal with, like, the weather. Well, no, I was out there reporting.
Starting point is 00:57:16 live. I was out and then, but, but you guys weren't there last night. Oh. He's a weather man that's scared of the weather. Me and my girl, me and my girl were playing twister and then a storm came. Oh, hey.
Starting point is 00:57:29 Hey, Dallas rains wouldn't be scared. You sound way too scared. Way too serious right now. I would expect you to be out there with like the umbrella flying away. Yeah, the offshore winds. Yeah, the raincoat. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:57:41 Trying to hold the mic. Hey, it's my first day. It's my first day. It's my first day. You guys get to relax. Let's be on the job I just want to know We can play this or not

Starting point is 00:58:29 It was scary He's like, I think we'll be fine I'm like, I don't know, it's scary It was raining like the movies out here Like I've never seen big raindrops like that before in my life Wow Did he make a tsunami or what? Yeah
Starting point is 00:58:44 She never seen the rain like that You know All right We'll let you get back to your anniversary Nicky so nice to welcome you to the Power 106 family And I hope you guys have a great Great anniversary. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:02 Thank you. You're welcome. Love y'all. Bye. Bye. That was tie. It's crazy. We should play that now.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Yeah. I feel like I did play it all the week. Shout out T. Paine and shout out Baby Vesh. You were part of Concrete's anniversary. Yeah? His anniversary. All right. That was gone.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Connected like I'm roast crans. Roastcrans. Roastcrans. Word on roast crans. The word is. is a rapper Enhale, the son of Nate Dog, has been going viral for shooting music videos at protests, firesites, and other potential, pretty much tragedies. A lot of them.
Starting point is 00:59:44 And he goes viral online every time because he does it. It's always, you know, much talked about and debated online. And everybody asks the question, why? So we want to ask him why. And we have him now on the line with us right now. Yeah. And before we go to Inhale, yes, he is Nate Dog's son. and, you know, it was really quite a member finding out about him current, like, COVID time.
Starting point is 01:00:06 And his voice is so, like, you know, it's so reminiscent of Pops and it's beautiful, like, hearing it and I guess getting that nostalgic feeling, but also wanting to be like, wow, I wonder what he has in store. Yeah. You know? And so I guess as of recent, there have been videos popping up. And I guess one of the most recent ones would have been during the fire. And he, yes. filmed the music video there and the smoke was in the background still. Oh, the house.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Yeah. And I believe one of the lyrics, and I'll get it straight from inhale himself, it was like cities on fire. But I still got to smoke. But I still got to smoke and stuff like that. So people were like, bro, what's going on? And there were protests happening in L.A., Mexican flags all the way up. And then he went to show support. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:51 You know, but some people would, I guess it is that debate, like you said, Vic, is it support or is it like exploitation? You know? And we have the pleasure of. talking to Inhale himself. You know, he did say, like, I want to get stuff straight. Like, I want to, I want people to know I'm really about it, you know. So, inhale, good morning. What's going on with you all?
Starting point is 01:01:10 Good morning. What's good. Okay. Yeah. Okay. So, you know, to get straight to it, you know, like there's been a lot of, you know, debate online about why is Enhale doing this, you know, at a protest? He doesn't let one go by without shooting the music video in front of it.
Starting point is 01:01:28 What's your take on it? about why you do it and I guess just your whole thoughts behind everything going on. Right, right. Well, shit. I mean, it was true. I'm sorry, y'all. I really want to slow it down. I grew up, I grew up, and a lot of people don't know this,
Starting point is 01:01:44 but I grew up in basically a city called Hawaiian Gardens. And I'm not really like, you know, putting them on the map or nothing, but I'm from East Lakewood and connect right on the back in East Lakewood is Hawaiian Gardens. On the other side, you got Artisia. I said, I have to say, you know, Mexican's been my cousins my whole life. I grew up with Mexicans, you know, like that's, all my resources right now to today is mainly Mexican.
Starting point is 01:02:10 You know, a lot of things that I do, you know, is a partner with, you know, with Mexicans or Hispanics, I should say. Secondly, you know, that video that went viral again, that's not even from the recent protests, y'all. That's for months ago. Yeah, they're like reposting it now. I was out there months ago, and y'all know how the Internet work. You know, anything that they find that that can go viral or a part of the time, they're going to post it.
Starting point is 01:02:32 So, of course, you know, I've seen it going viral again. I post it again because my message months ago is still my message today. You know, so being that they back out there, that don't, and by the way, I went back out there again, and nobody will know that. Because besides a couple of fans, I seen me out there and took pictures with me, and I reposted their pictures, you know, when I was out there. But it wasn't for no content. It's because I live out here, you feel me? So when I'm looking on and I'm seeing it's a protest, a mile. away from my crib, I'm driving there because it takes nothing out of me to do that, you know?
Starting point is 01:03:02 And then, like, you know, lastly, if you listen to my lyrics in the video, in the protest, Ocadio on Fire, like, it's real substance in my music. People can't get past the fact that my daddy is Nate dog and the sound that they're listening to. So this is what I'm up against for real, you know? So whenever I say something, I got to remember my pop's name is attached to it, and a lot of people won't be able to get past that. But the people that do, and they really listen to me, they know my music, it contains substance in each one of those songs that's been viral for maybe the wrong reasons. I had to get the attention some way. And I'm in these places
Starting point is 01:03:40 and I got to say, I'm not about to, I don't know where else I got a voice at, but when I speak, you know, they're going to say that this is Nade Dawson and they listen to the voice. So after that, I will like people that. I live these things. My cousin is from Pasadena, and this is a cousin that I grew up with since the baby. So these things, when the fires were going on, me and I was with my cousin at the time, and I was in Pasadena. And we, we were sitting in the car, you know,
Starting point is 01:04:07 doing what we do, and, you know, we just thought, you know, I got something to say. And, you know, I put it together one day. I wrote it down. I made the song at my house. It wasn't mixed. I went back and pulled up on the next day, and we filmed that video and we posted it.
Starting point is 01:04:21 And if you listen to the lyrics again, it's my opinion. I have one, you know, and that's the only way I know how to speak it or tell it. And the city was on fire, and I'm smoking, you know, right now as, as I am at any time of the day. So that's all I really had on my mind.
Starting point is 01:04:36 And that's what I said. But within the verses, I break it down perfectly. And I got the level of understanding to know what I'm saying. You know, YouTube University and chat GPT, before I even make these songs, to know that I have more my feelings is correct and I know what I'm saying, you know? Yeah. Yeah, like you're educated on it. And I guess that point is that point is, you know,
Starting point is 01:04:58 if this is what it takes for you to listen, this is how I'm going to garner your attention. Now keep listening. I want to talk. I do understand the, maybe that battle that it is being Nate Dogson because Nate is beloved. And I think your voice just matching so, so distinctly with his. I wonder if that, because I never looked at it like it might be something you're up against. I always looked at it like, wow, this is something that brings people to me, you know? But then I'm sure you want to separate yourself.
Starting point is 01:05:31 You want to be inhale. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. like and then you got you got mixed um you know teams with this um i i focus on the people that say this is something uh teupac would do or this is something that may dog would do you know because they really know what i come from and and and um you know maybe how educated i am you know across the board you know so just um you know that that's one of my main things is it's not um it's just kind of separating myself in a sense and um you know i it's just you know i it's
Starting point is 01:06:03 It's just a little different for me, I would say. Like, I really feel this way on these situations. And, you know, it's me. And, you know, I find a way to use my voice more than just it being Nate Dog's son. Because, like I said, anytime you hear me or about me, Nate Dog's son is going to be attached to it. So I got to think of a way to make you, you know, take it further than that. So people may disrespect me when they see it and say, oh, Nate turning in his grave. In my head, that means I'm doing something that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that,
Starting point is 01:06:33 separates me because it's like, yo, into the day, I'm in hell, and I've always been in hell. If I wanted to be known as Nate Dog, son, I would have been baby Nate Dog. Well, I'd have been something that I love my pops. Like, when my dad was alive, like, when I, like, seriously, all my pops was alive, like, he set me down a lot,
Starting point is 01:06:49 and I was young, and he told me, like, you know, when he passed away, like, it would be left on me and my brother. So I think of that often, and I just think of ways, how do I, you know, make me matter, you know, make me matter, you know, in this world, you know, in a sense. And I do that while saluting him and I always honor him. And a lot of people get that mixed up with I want to be him or be like him.
Starting point is 01:07:12 But my voice is my voice and I got a whole family that sing. And I never want, you know, I don't want to be like him. My pop's got dirty in this music game. You know, I don't follow and want to follow nothing that, you know, kind of he was, you know, a part of I just do it because, you know, I see the people love him and love me. And I just, you know, I like to be transparent. parent and everything I do. So I'm just breaking all the way down with y'all because y'all, the people that's
Starting point is 01:07:36 listening, I want them to know, like, really where I come from with this. Yeah. And, Hale, I wanted to know how you deal with that hate, like, that comes online with, you know, when you go viral. It's like, does it deter you? Does it make you turn up? Does it make you be like, oh, okay, like, I need to double down on this or, like, just how do you deal with that in general?
Starting point is 01:07:55 I'm going to be real. Most of the time, I'm just putting my phone down. Like, I try to focus. I got a three-year-old son, so I try to focus on him and loving him and receiving a love with the people around me because it's not, you know, it ain't nothing simple, I would say. Yeah, social media is not real, bro.
Starting point is 01:08:15 Like, that's what I've come to learn to, and that's what I'm telling to everybody. Like, it's low-key, the algorithm is meant to trigger you, you know? Yeah, no, for real. I just, yeah, go ahead, go ahead. And respectfully, like, even with the videos, like, you've got to think, and this, I, I'm looking at it from your perspective.
Starting point is 01:08:33 The way the algorithm set up is like we're seeing ice raids, we're seeing this, and then we're seeing the video of a rapper making a music video there. And at the same time, it's like, again, it's meant to go into a certain pocket of people that are going to be agitated by it. For me, it's really important to get you on the phone because it's like, what does inhale thing? Like literally, I do not think in any way, shape, or form that you could look at this and be like, let me go, let me go run it up.
Starting point is 01:08:58 Yeah. You know, if anything is like this can help me get my point across. Because honestly, the song had to have been made before the stuff happened. So you were creating and curating a song with, like you said, this message has always been here. You know, that that message was there even before this stuff was happening. I didn't just was like, oh, they're out there protesting. Let me make a rap song. Let me go.
Starting point is 01:09:17 You know? Yeah, shout out to my homie little bams. He was a Mexican. He also owned a song feature with me and shout out to the Mizza behind the production on the song. And, you know, they also, you know, Mexicans out here in LA County. So, you know, my video is what you see because I'm black and you wonder why is the black do it out there. But shout out to all my blacks and all my brown folks. Like I just mentioned to you, I grew up in Hawaiian Gardens.
Starting point is 01:09:43 But, you know, the love and between blacks and browns never kind of, you know, aligned. But me, I was always the person that I rocked with, you know, the Mexicans. Like my mom, she used to drive me off at the Hawaiian Gardens Rec Center. I was probably the only black kid in there, but, you know, it really didn't matter. They rocked with me. I don't know if it was because my pops, but into the day, like, they rocked with me. So I've always wanted to make it clear, like, you know, the way I came up and I shared the ground, you know, with the Spanish. So, you know, when I see this going on and they protest, and I remember back in George Floyd Day, my Mexican homies was out there with me.
Starting point is 01:10:21 So it's how I feel. And that's why when I post something, I try to put my phone down and I really, you know, I really listen to how somebody else feel because I'm telling you how I feel and where I'm coming from and not a lot of people is going to accept that, especially on internet. But with, you know, my legacy and everything that I'm attached to, it's just a ways for me to use my voice the way that I can with the internet algorithm and all that playing, you know, at my hands with, you know, me being an artist. Because in the day, I got to get, you know, I got to get my voice out there some way. And the only way I'm known how to do it
Starting point is 01:10:52 is to use it because I'm looking for it to be heard, you know, in different. ways. Yeah. And one last question. Do you feel like a pressure now when like things are happening in the city to like, okay. No. Now I'm the guy to speak on this or is it just like you just kind of spur the moment? Nah, these are issues that I'm firsthand and that I, you know, like shout out to my dog, micro-exotics, man. He just said that's, you know, my spending partner. He just told me last night, he got to, you know, do some relocating of his family. because, you know, how serious these ice rates is. And this is somebody that I, you know, that's really my friend, like,
Starting point is 01:11:32 that genuinely, like, I don't have too many genuine homies and he's really one of them. So, you know, that affect me to know that, you know, he's going through that. You feel me? So, you know, I speak for, you know, those people, you know, in a sense, when I want to do these things. As mentioned, I didn't create this video that's viable right now recently. That's a video from months ago. I reposted it again.
Starting point is 01:11:56 because my stance hasn't changed and I'm clear on what I'm seeing in that song. You know, I wouldn't, I'm not looking to go create new content. At that point, that's when you look up and be like, okay, this dude, you feel me. And this still, that may not be true because the end of the day, you don't know what I'm doing out there, how long I was there, XYC. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right, right, right.
Starting point is 01:12:19 Got the photo and then left, like how big does it the gym takes a photo. did it. Do a couple push-ups. Yeah. That's amazing. Hey, but inhale, before you go again, I do appreciate the phone call because it is a lot and I know it can be like, bro, I really got to, I can't win for nothing.
Starting point is 01:12:38 You know, at the same time, the conversations that are happening, or at least I'm seeing online, which is why I really appreciate the black community, all our black homies and them stepping up at this time is because online is trying to tell you that they're not. Online is trying to tell you, like, we don't care, we wanted this and all of, that and there's examples where I see that it's different and almost like again you can't
Starting point is 01:12:57 win for nothing y'all are saying you want uh black representation and support out there i give you that and you're mad at or you're saying that it's exploitation you know on the other end it's like uh understanding and we want the support so i definitely do not want you to i guess be uh withdrawn because of it uh but but it's just trying to understand where you're coming from and i just want to say one more thing too yeah you know content is moving at like a crazy rate and face, you know, so you just got to be, you got to watch what you consume and know and kind of try to be aware of what you're looking at because, you know, once you see something as far as, you know, blacks, be seeing, you know, the negative factor in this, sometimes it'll
Starting point is 01:13:43 only be repeated because it's viewed as content and someone is looking to go viral or get engagement. So it's like, we really got to watch because that's all the internet is is becoming and the more you scroll and you consume a video, maybe where it's negative on, you know, on us. United, it's just going, you know, it's going to take you into that, you know, into that, you know, what I'm looking for, but it's going to take you down there. You just now at this point, you're going to believe, you know,
Starting point is 01:14:08 all the negative videos you're seeing. And I don't know how we change that and how that way, because it's the algorithm and computers, but just be aware of that and don't, you know, have such hard opinions on the things that you may be seeing and comment sections and stuff like that, because some people, you know, we're real, you know, real life and dealing with real things. You know, you don't want to get it confused.
Starting point is 01:14:29 Sounds perfectly said. I appreciate the conversation. I think you let everybody in on your state of mind and your way of thinking and inhale. I appreciate that. Yeah. Thank you. No, Dad, I appreciate y'all for letting me, you know, state all that stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:43 Of course. Hell yeah. My dog. Appreciate you, man. No, Dale, you already know, Vic. Yep. Yep. All right.
Starting point is 01:14:48 What do you know? I know. I know. Stop. Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it. He said don't do that.
Starting point is 01:14:52 Don't do it, don't do it. Don't do it. I like it though. I like it. Inhale, tell him, don't do it. Tell him not to say that your voice sounds like your dad's voice. Tell him. I mean, no, I'm not against that.
Starting point is 01:15:04 You know, it's just I speak on things that he wasn't able to. And don't confuse that for, you know, you know, something negative. That's all. Yeah, yeah. No, I just, I could hear it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, inhale. He just said he doesn't want that.
Starting point is 01:15:17 I don't want this to be funny. But if people ever ask you to like say, smoke. Every day. I can't say, can I say that middle word? No, no, no, you can. You know, we're not even going to play. Okay, give it to me, give it to me. Hold on you, too.
Starting point is 01:15:32 But not like that. Smoke trees every day. Oh! Hell, I appreciate it. Bro! Bro! It's so good. But he's not his dad.
Starting point is 01:15:44 He's not his dad. He's not his dad, okay? Yeah, that part. Yeah. Just like you guys aren't your father. My own person. My own person. That really must be a battle, but I do appreciate the phone call.
Starting point is 01:15:54 And I hope to have Enhill in here soon. Yes, yeah. And no name-taxed questions. No. You got to let him lose that. Imagine all the questions I asked you about your dad? Yeah. I wouldn't know a lot.
Starting point is 01:16:04 Oh, my God. Greg. He literally is in your life. Shut up. That was your word on Rosecrans. Brought you by a local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Rosecrans. Victor Roundback Mornings on Power 106.
Starting point is 01:16:15 Okay, so check this out. Something that was really concerning to me, and it really drew a attention because online, you know, a lot of people can be saying the worst things. Yes. And it's really important while we cannot grab all the misinformation, we're not fact checkers, we're not CNN, but there are things that when it's really close to our hearts, it's like, no, you got to say something. All right.
Starting point is 01:16:41 And one of those things is a tweet that I saw that alleged that the Kobe Bryant mural, you know, with him and Gigi that had previously been defaced and even Luca, we We talked about Luca Donchik donated $5,000. Yeah. GoFundMe in order to help that get going again. That now they're saying that this specific defacing, because then it got defaced again. Yeah. So our homie slow, who was a part of that mural process, they went, they restored it.
Starting point is 01:17:10 And a couple days before everything that happened over here, sometime last week, it got defaced again. But let online tell it and let Twitter tell it. It was us. It was the rioters. It was the looters. It was the quote unquote illegals that are doing this. There is a viral tweet that says,
Starting point is 01:17:30 quote, they literally destroyed the Kobe and Gigi mural. None of these people care about any of you. If you're here illegally, GTFO were done. Okay? And it's getting reposted. Right now it has 16,000 reposts, people, 3.5,000 comments. And it's really upsetting because it's from like
Starting point is 01:17:51 verified account again you look to these things to tell you the truth or what's going on but when i saw this i'm like this is not real this is not okay and it's not true because guess what this is very triggering and it can people that can make people that maybe we're on on on on the fence about a feeling a certain type of way or maybe now they have strong strong opinions based off what was happened is somebody so beloved like cobi here in los angeles okay right even when uh for example the the song, Whacked Out Murals with Kendrick, when it got defaced, it turned into some race stuff. It turned into some, oh, yeah, it's the Hispanics doing it, all of this. And I, and on both murals, our homie slow, who's a muralist and incredible at his work, who is Hispanic, is the one who made the murals.
Starting point is 01:18:37 So I'm like, instead of talking about who defaced it, talked about who created it, because that also comes from the love that people have for these murals. And it's sad to see it kind of get weaponized, you know? Yeah, and it just causes division, you know, and it's like, it's running with the narrative. that, you know, all immigrants are bad and they should not be here and this and that and they're selfish and they don't even care about Kobe. And it's like, bro, you went way too far with that. That's like, wrong narrative. Everybody cares about Kobe, first of all.
Starting point is 01:19:03 Yeah, you know what I'm saying? It's like, come on, man. Like, this is ridiculous. So I've been working on something with With Slow and I cannot wait for everybody to be able to see it. But I hit him up and I was like, hey, I know this is like a lot, bro, but I'm wondering if you'd like to say anything. You know, Slow even is like he's not. He's not the type of person that is like, I'm out here for the looks. I want people to interview me.
Starting point is 01:19:25 And he's like, he doesn't even like it when the news is interviewing him. You know what I'm saying? I ran into him one time. Oh, you did? I didn't know what he looked like. But he had to tell me. I'm slow. And I was like, oh, what's up, bro?
Starting point is 01:19:36 Like, because he doesn't like to, you know, be that public. He doesn't like the attention. He wants his work to speak for and his work is out of genuine love. So I showed him like, you know, even as close as I feel with him, He has a lot of respect, love, and adoration for Vanessa Bryant. A lot of these murals, Vanessa did a commercial in front of the Kobe Bryant and Gigi mural. Oh, did she? He has a lot of, like, protective love and energy for it, as we all do, the whole family.
Starting point is 01:20:04 So again, for these things to be taken into whatever debate on Twitter or politicized or weaponized or whatever, it just genuinely tugs at my heart because it's not fair. It's not fair to us. Somebody may hate us for this thing specifically, you know? So I asked him, I'm like, bro, like, I don't know if you want to say anything, but, and I know that you're not really cool, like, cool interviews, but, and he said, man, tell him it's the tweakers. I know what? End quote. Yeah. Not the immigrants.
Starting point is 01:20:36 You know what? But, like, he's like, bro, like, this can't just be some tweaker stuff, which, by the way, that's his words. Yeah. He's trying to make it, like, right out of it. But then he's like, look, you could say this. Immigrants and Rasa, and this is from the words of slow the muralist by. about the Kobe Bryant mural itself, it being defaced and it being used as a weapon
Starting point is 01:20:55 in this war of Twitter tweets and social media. Immigrants and Rasa play a huge role in making Los Angeles what it is in a good aspect. From helping the majority of businesses grow and helping our communities to just working hard for underpaid wages to earn an honest buck and not having to do crime for money. I'm Rasa and I painted the mural
Starting point is 01:21:17 and contribute to beautifying my communities. If anyone should be worried about criminals in this country, we should look into the crimes of the people running this country and higher ups. This country was founded on theft and murder, so it's pretty contradicting to speak on legal issues of others. America can make false narratives to go into other countries and invade them with crime, but when people come here to make an honest living and help our country grow, we want to throw them all under the bus and label them all criminals. You can do 100 good deeds, and one bad in the world will hold that one bad thing. and one bad and the world will hold that one bad thing against you. He says there's some stuff you can say, sorry if it's long,
Starting point is 01:21:58 or you could just blame the tweakers. Slows words. Just blame the tweakers. There we go. But again, this is his genuine thoughts. This is his work. This is his art. Do not try to flip it into some weird weaponization.
Starting point is 01:22:14 A different way. Look what they're doing. And I think that it's really important that when we see these things, We do say something because it's like you could let them run with that narrative, but it could be costly. It could be costly to our relationships. You know, again, we just spoke to Enhill. Someone's son, but you know he's his own person.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Yeah, his own. But talking about the black and brown relationship and how, yes, we do have it. It is strong, but there's a thin line, you know, and that can really be the teeter-totter of why someone may look at us a different way because of these things. Yeah. And Gigi, who's on the mural, is Mexican. Yeah. Her mother, Vanessa Bryant, is Mexican.
Starting point is 01:22:58 It just doesn't fit the narrative that they're trying to push. You know? Yeah. Yeah. They're... Wrong one. Oh, my gosh. Ecto's getting kicked out for that.
Starting point is 01:23:09 They represent both of what's so beautiful about Los Angeles when you look at someone with G. All the hopes and prides and dreams of everything that we believe in. you know, representing her black side, representing her Mexican side, and doing what she was doing for the sport of women's basketball, please do not deter from that, from that, from that dream, you know, from that statement. So, yeah, those are, those, that straight from the words of,
Starting point is 01:23:36 of, uh, of slow the muralist of that, that, that, unfortunately has been defaced again. Yeah. Yeah. And that's back to the point where it's like, you know, lies spread so fast. They do. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:47 The comments and the, the, the shares and all that stuff. And then it just becomes, you know, supposed fact to everybody. And everybody just accepts it like, oh my gosh, look, did you see that? Did you see that?
Starting point is 01:23:57 Yeah. And then you have to sit there and, and explain to somebody why that's not true, but they already made up their mind. And now they don't want their mind change. Because it fits a certain narrative that they were already kind of they believe in. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:10 You know what's crazy too about that specific, I guess that part of the story, Vic, is that, you know, Grock is like the fact checker of, Twitter nap. They were like, what happened here, Grog? That's the AI assistant of it. And they asked like, GROC is this true?
Starting point is 01:24:24 And Grock was like, no, this defacing happened on June 4th, I believe. The initial protest after the ice rates happened on June 6th. And then that same account was like, yeah, right, show me the proof or whatever. And then Grock pulls up. Yeah. Yeah, like, because there were stories on it. Like, hey, the COBUMEURL got defaced again. This was two days before anything of like of this nature.
Starting point is 01:24:48 happened and that guy was like how convenient or like of course or whatever it's like even that in your face will not like won't even register to you if you want to believe it as fact whatever your thoughts are grok should just put a picture of a tweaker that's it's it oh no no no that's going to be a whole different narrative that people are going to be running with and then they're going to say blame the tweakers for everything so we're not going to do that well we're not I don't know if it was. Well, according to slow was. So according to the mural is.
Starting point is 01:25:20 But even then, like, you know, just even, you know, people are going to be like, oh, well, this is Elon's Twitter. So he's making up the facts. And everybody can try to, like, you know, detest the fact. Yeah. Even though a month ago, Elon was poppy to these people. Exactly. You know. It's a very twisted and weird world social media.
Starting point is 01:25:40 And I think from my love for the city of L.A. And my love for Kobe and Gigi, the whole Brian. family, I cannot, like, we have to say something when something like this is trying to just throw into the mix. We can't do that. Don't fan those flames. And then I've been seeing, like, a lot of videos, like, online, especially about, like, headlines saying, like,
Starting point is 01:25:59 oh, look at the violent, the violent protests and things like that. But it's like, people are dancing. So even that scene, seeing things like that, how people are taking that narrative or that headline and making their own narrative of saying, like, no, this is not what's happening. I appreciate that about a lot of regular users. Because we're relying on the media to tell us something.
Starting point is 01:26:18 And I know we're media. But also, like, there are people with phones out and they're showing the differences in it. And I think even if that's just a little drop in the sea of everything else, they're getting fed, at least it's there. And little by little, we're also showing there's other sides to this, you know. There's people that are getting in the way of stores so that they don't get looted. There's whole mobs of people that are outside, quote unquote, mob,
Starting point is 01:26:42 sorry, I don't mean that in a negative way. but like a group of protesters that are yelling at someone, get out of that restaurant. That's not what we're here for. You're making us look bad. And I do appreciate those in the noise of it's all one thing. It's all this and all of that. So definitely be aware, protect yourself of what you're seeing online.
Starting point is 01:27:05 And my love to slow the muralist because I know that must have an effect on you too. Because this is your work. Yeah. You know? And you mean it for a very, very beautiful cause. And you don't want to bring pain to anybody that has love for that mural, you know? Yeah, absolutely. All right.
Starting point is 01:27:22 Keep it here. We got more brown bag on the way.
