Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more brownback, the better. Come on. What's up? This is Be Real from Cyprus Hill. Where are you from, Esed? Don't you know I'm local? Hate to start off serious. On a Friday, I know we should be jumping, jumping, and having a great time. And we will this morning, but I do want to start the show off by sending love to the family of the man who passed away yesterday in the city of Monrovia, fleeing from an island. Ice raid. Not too much detail is known about his identity, nor the identity of his daughter, who news outlets said showed up on scene afterwards. And I personally think that's very intentional
Starting point is 00:00:41 because then when we see the face, when we see the name, when we see the story, it will crush our hearts even more. Very, very tragic situation and very sad. He got hit by a car, I believe, and succumbed to his injuries after medical staff and personnel took him into the hospital. But our love to him and this is just yet another moment of why is this happening to our people, you know? And amongst all of this, it's just a weird feeling that we've all kind of been living in quietly maybe. And maybe we've talked about it a couple days ago that we've seen it within our friend groups now. Although it may not be, and maybe the algorithms doing it on its own, it may not be top of news anymore. It's still happening.
Starting point is 00:01:28 And that's really, really sad because it's out here. you know yeah no absolutely and when you put like a face to the name it becomes that much more powerful impactful you you know before bed think about that image in your head of like the person that lost their life and so it's like when there's no photos that does feel intention of course big that feels like all right just person passed away and then move on right but we are not moving on and you know i want to give love to people like pepa gilad who came through the other day and talked about the show that him, his son Leo, and his daughter, Angela Aguilat, are doing at the Hollywood Bowl.
Starting point is 00:02:07 Proceeds of this concert of his new album and new music, all goes to Cherla, which is an immigration rights foundation that's helping people out affected by the ice rates here in Los Angeles. You know, he told us a little bit about what performing at the Hollywood Bowl today and tomorrow night, along with the L.A. Phil Harmonic, which is like this whole orchestra thing, right? What it means to him, especially it being an iconic venue that held the grates like the Beatles, like Frank Sinatra, one of our very own Mexican greats, Peppa Aguilar and the Aguilar family, are going to set the stage tonight as well. And here's what he had to say. Like, one second, let me turn on the radio. Let's get it.
Starting point is 00:02:49 Right now, right in the middle of deportations, right in the middle of segregations and non-tolerations and everything that's happening, we are going to present ourselves very, very. dignamente and with the major professionalism. And we're going to do a show. This is a kind of resistance also pacific a 100%. We can be proud of this thing. And we're part of the United States and we're not going anywhere.
Starting point is 00:03:14 We should stop differentiating you and me. We're the freaking same. It was so cool to see him and just meet him and talk to him and be able to be like, wow, this guy's really got our back. You know, I know it's going to be jumping at the Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:03:30 a bowl. With stuff like this, bro. I'm sure tickets are still available, probably not, or probably Raman I took them all. I think so, too. Right? Funny how we're like, hey Ramanin, can you get us some tickets? She's like, oh, you know, we're just not there anymore.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I'm the one that asks her. She's like, oh, you never asked me. Oh! What? Oh, we can't color that. But yes, make sure you go out there and more tickets are available. I believe they have a few left,
Starting point is 00:04:09 especially for these next couple days. Make sure you hit up, okay, Pepe Aguilar on Instagram. DM them. He might respond, you might not. He's going to be like, Hey, Pepe, Big Pepe. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Hollywoodbowl.com. I'm fishing here for, yeah, Hollywoodboh.com for tickets on sale now for you guys to go check out that show it's going to be a great one and I like the Hollywood Bowl because they let you take your own snacks yeah yeah oh my own snacks you feel good
Starting point is 00:04:40 bring your own blankets and it's outdoor yes beautiful and this feels like something again that amidst all of the chaos and all of the targeting that it's like no we're going to show you how beautiful what we do and what we create is and nothing like this type of music you know yeah so yeah that's available to you
Starting point is 00:04:58 Hollywood Hollywood Bowl. com for tickets Cici Pipe Aguilar, Leonardo Aguilar, and Angel Aguilar. I'm sure her man's going to be there too.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Oh yeah. For sure. Yeah. Oh my God. That's the guy. All right. All right. Keep it here, my friend,
Starting point is 00:05:13 because Offset. Opsett. Offsett. He came through to hang out with us. You know, he has a new project on the Wakehi. That's his government name.
Starting point is 00:05:21 I don't know why he's telling everybody. He also has a new song called Bodies with our homie J.I.D. But we had a test in Spanish. He is our celebrity guest for this week's Cise or no Sabo.
Starting point is 00:05:33 La Cure out of out of my homie is there's Aia or no Sado. We got the hobby Opsett in the building
Starting point is 00:05:41 Yeah! I'm saying Everyone's been wanting to do your ad-lip. Go ahead do it. I know you did it. I already did it. Go. Offit? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Last time you came in here which was a beautiful moment. It was right before Thanksgiving. I appreciate you giving us that time, by the way. That little area area, the holidays is really important to me as being sages. But we also saw that you knew the song Burrito
Starting point is 00:06:03 Sabanero and we're like, what? He's one of us. He's dancing to Burrito Sabanero, which is like a holiday science. I know, I know, I know. And it goes back to that. It goes back to that. So I would like to challenge you to a game that we have, okay? It's called Sise or no Savo. It's basically where we test our Spanish. Don't worry if you suck, we suck too.
Starting point is 00:06:23 We want to know who you want to go up against based on how good or bad our Spanish is, all right? We're going to give you our ratings, all right? Greg, what is your Spanish like? A taco bar menu. So, like, anything that looks like a Taco Bal menu, I don't know Spanish at all. Yeah, so he looks it. He looks it.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Angie, I watched Dragon Ball Z in Spanish, Shrek in a Spanol. Oh, yeah, she grew up in Spanish. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's living right. She's thinking right. She's right. I'm like a six or a seven. For me, it looks like I'd be fluent, but I'm about a seven, eight.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Yeah. That's fluent. Yeah, that is fluent. Seven. Eight is fluent. I'm like a seven. He's like a five. He's like a five. What would you rate your Spanish?
Starting point is 00:07:05 Speaking or listening? Ooh, speaking, speaking, speaking, speaking. Articulating. I'm a little low on that end. It's okay. But I can articulate. Based on our ratings, who do you want to go against in Spanish? Man, it don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:16 All right. Good choice. Mark. Mark. My little cooking it over there. My little cooking it over there. All right. I'm going to tell you the word in Spanish.
Starting point is 00:07:23 You tell me what it means in English. Are you ready offset? All right. Your word is, Enemigos. Enemigos. Enemigos. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Anna. Is this one word? Enemigos. Yes, it's one word. Females. Wow. Enemy. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:46 It's an enemy. You're enemy. Enemy. No, but you said it's one word. Yeah. It's one word like that. Enemigos is one word. Enemigos.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Yeah. So am. Amigos is my friend. Enemigos is my enemy. I've never heard it. I've never heard of girls. So, hey, could we give him the point? Have you had a point?
Starting point is 00:08:04 Somehow that's still right. Hey, but he pronounced it perfectly. Yeah, he did. Okay. Greg. Querpos. Quirpos. Cousins?
Starting point is 00:08:17 Oh my God. We're going to be here forever. First to one point wins, you guys. It's bodies. Quirpos, like a body. Bodies hit the. Bodies hit the. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:26 No, that one. I knew that one. I believe it. I believe you. I should ask you that one. I knew that one. You used in reverse.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I got all these quipoles. He got a lot of quipoles. Okay. Balsa. Bolesa, offset. Hold on. Using this sentence. You do.
Starting point is 00:08:41 You do. Bosa. You get the bolza. Oh. You got it, bro. Bag. Yes. That one.
Starting point is 00:09:01 First to one. Offset, two, si salve. Change you. Make sure you get Tiari, man. Bodies is the single. Thank you for coming through, bro. I appreciate what I do, man.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Y'all push my records and, like, you know what I mean? You got to stay ground. It can't go big. You got to keep pulling up on people that f***ing what you saw. That's what I'm always pull up. You got Migos in L-A, too, bro. Come on. We made it to Friday.
Starting point is 00:09:24 We made it to Friday. And we got some shout-outs. Don't we, Gregory, over there? We have L-S-W-E-N-E-E-O-E-E. It was his first day of senior year. L-U-Z. L-U-Z. Loose.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Oh. Dehlo. How do you smell loose? How do you spell loose? How do you spell loose? L-U-Z. In Spanish? Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Yes. It's like light. Light? Who's next? Yeah, light. Oh, my God. My T-A-L-L-A-L-L-E-L-E-L-E-L-E-O-E. You have a Tia-L-U-S?
Starting point is 00:09:51 Oh, okay. Well, anyway, we all over the birthday shout-out. He listens all the way from Casey, Kansas City. Spell's name? Eloy. E-L-O-Y. Like the REM, E-E-L-O-E-E-L-E-E. There's no such thing as Eloy
Starting point is 00:10:03 Big up Eloy Liz wants a birthday shout out For her boyfriend David It's his birthday Happy birthday David Crystal wants to shout out Her brother Omar It's his 31st birthday
Starting point is 00:10:11 And then happy birthday Shout out to my cousin-in-law Clemente It was his birthday He was the one that brought the palettes For the back to school Oh nice He has that whole truck right Or like the whole
Starting point is 00:10:22 The cart The caleta color Big guitar guys Happy birthday to you Feliz Cumpalinos Ati And just know if you celebrate a birthday Today you also celebrate a birthday today
Starting point is 00:10:29 You also celebrate a birthday the legendary Nipsey Hustle. We are going to honor my bro coming up at 8.30 with DJ Eman. He's going to do a Nipsey Hustle mix. Nipsey would have been 40 this year, I believe. 40? Yeah, man. I'll love to the Asgidon family, to Lauren, to the kids, to marathon,
Starting point is 00:10:51 everybody, my big, big hugs. Okay, let's get into Simper Pimp, Simper of Time. Okay, let's get into it. Simp or Pimp. These are the nominees for the SIMP of the Week. Sip, Sip, Sip, Sits, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip. I'm Maximo, and like we do every Friday, I'm going to crown this week's Simp of the Week. So our first nominee is rapper Drake, who was on a stream with a popular streamer named Aidan Ross.
Starting point is 00:11:24 And when having a conversation with him, he called him something interesting that had everyone kind of shook. It was love. It was love. Kibak, Quabwe's, you know? Wait, what time? Wait, where are you right now? I'm outside, Daddy. Wait, wait, what?
Starting point is 00:11:43 He called Aiden Ross, Daddy. And I don't know. I guess it's a new era thing because Greg says he does it too. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that, Daddy. All right, our next nominee. Our next nominee is soccer player superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, who last year we talked. talked about, he finessed his girl into waiting on marriage.
Starting point is 00:12:05 They had been together for a long time. And she went on her TV show and talked about how when Jalo dropped the song called El Anil, meaning the ring, that he kind of, you know, they're making jokes about the situation. They're with the bromita of the boda-pacquando. In what moment Jennifer Lopez saco his song, that, and that no me has been canted. So she's saying that when the song dropped El Anil, the ring, people started making fun of me asking me when's the ring coming and Ronaldo had a great answer to this
Starting point is 00:12:38 you let me go always when the click. As it's a much of our life, you know what I'm referring to. So he pretty much said when the click happens. Yeah, it could be a year, it could be six months from now, when it clicks. When it clicks. And I'm assuming now it's the contract. Because he bought her a ring now and proposed, and the ring is estimated to be around $5 million. Cheap skate.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Oh my gosh. Which Vic says is a cheap skate. Yes, Vic, can you please explain? He's a cheap skate because he makes $285 million a year, $8.9 million a week, and that's not even a week's worth of salary. That's crazy math. Yeah. Another man's ring to his girl. Yeah, I mean, like, I don't pocket watch or anything, but.
Starting point is 00:13:30 But, yeah. That was very cheap of him, so we should call him out more. How much was your tattoo of your girlfriend? This one, it was like for the free skis. Oh, it was for free. So what does that make you? It makes me a committed person that doesn't like to spend a lot of money. Don't you love a deal?
Starting point is 00:13:49 He got a deal. Why is this a Simp nominee? Because he gave into the marriage and he proposed. He's into the marriage. Ten years later, bro. Eight. supposed to be around 12 Round it off, brother
Starting point is 00:14:02 Round it off And you are pocket watching Actually make your pocket x-rays Yeah He MRIed those pockets For real Our next nominee Is NFL superstar
Starting point is 00:14:14 Travis Kells So Travis Kells was on the podcast With his brother Called New Heights That everybody knew The name of the podcast That's a lie
Starting point is 00:14:21 Everybody knew Because it's football season However His kind of famous girlfriend came shine because she wanted to make an announcement. Wanted to show you something.
Starting point is 00:14:34 Okay. We got a briefcase. Yep. Mitt Green with TS on it. Yep. This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl. Yay. His brother was more excited than him.
Starting point is 00:14:50 He didn't even celebrate. He was excited. He's been in the background watching this girl. They were very lovey-dovey throughout that episode. Now that it's out, because you just got it on the preview there, right? Now that it's out, oh, they were. were having a blast. They were loving on each other.
Starting point is 00:15:02 They were. But is it sim to, I guess, interview your girlfriend on your own podcast? On the football platform. On the football. Which I learned that there's a lot of fans of that watch. First of all, there's a lot of Swifties that are football fans. So they were also supporting that pod. So just that fly.
Starting point is 00:15:19 And that reel is, I think, the most engaged reel on Instagram. Like, and that episode's the most watched and stream. Exactly. She took over his podcast. She helped his pod. She helped them. Because before that, Greg could not give me the name of the podcast. What is it called again?
Starting point is 00:15:34 Yes, so me. Our next nominee is rapper Rick Ross. So Rick Ross had a girlfriend previously that was completely in love with him. Her name was Christina Mackey. She was saying that God put her in Rick Ross in place to kind of help her. Well, Rick Ross kind of shunned her to the side. They broke up after six months. And Rick Ross has a new girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:15:57 However, he was on a red carpet when he tried to kiss her and she dodged him in front of everybody. It was a funny video. You could see it on Brownback Mornings 106, but Rick Ross Karma struck back. So the third time this year, like a man gets dodged by his girl. The inauguration, President Trump got dodged by Melania and her cool hat. The deterrent, the Trump deterrent. And then the UFC fighters. that proposed, right?
Starting point is 00:16:28 And then now Rick Ross on the red carpet. But I guess what makes it more something than anything is that he had an ex-girl that would do this. She loved him. Would kiss the ground he walks on. Yes. But no like itia, no la carea. Too much attention, I guess.
Starting point is 00:16:43 All right, brother, man. Drummond, please. And the winner, a simple that we goes to. Payback Bob was, you know. No way. Yes. Where are you right now? Daddy?
Starting point is 00:16:57 Daddy. Daddy? No problem with that. Wait, wait, what? Exactly. There is no problem with that at all. That's a new thing. That's who you're going to choose at Simba the Week over the dude that got mowed by his girl on the red carpet.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Yes. Oh, you're just being a trike. Yeah, he's a ring. No, big is a hater. He's expensive. That's cheap to him. Oh, God. See?
Starting point is 00:17:20 OVO hater. Drake hater over here. That's what he's doing. That's pretty crazy. It's a sweater that Greg's walking. Oh, my God. Maybe because he didn't call him, Daddy. I just did.
Starting point is 00:17:29 I don't want that. He doesn't see. He likes it. My girl. Oh, gosh. All right. Well, this is Maximus Choice for Simps of Reef. I think where the room is divided on this.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Got Taylor Swift. Square up, everybody. All right. Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit. And now the weather. Hell my, dogs. With concrete storm. First, we are off to the city of Sleepy Hollow,
Starting point is 00:17:59 where they rep Brownback, because we're a hard act. to follow. Damn, Peritos, let's go, come on. Your high will be 82 degrees today.
Starting point is 00:18:07 Now we are bossing up to the city of Rossmoor where I tried to buy a house, but the hell of cost more right there, Knox,
Starting point is 00:18:13 Chalice. Your how will be 77 degrees. Next, we leave an ELAC and pushing away to Montabello and the low
Starting point is 00:18:19 with the bin blowing through my cabello. Your how will be 82 degrees today right there. Lastly, we salute all the way to Crenshaw district
Starting point is 00:18:27 from the streets boulevards and avenues, your legacy, your legend, and your marathon continues. Happy B-Day Nip, your high today, and the Crenshaw District will be 78 degrees, Perito.
Starting point is 00:18:37 So let's keep that going, all right? Yeah, that's pretty good, right? Yeah. Stay in there, staying there. Once again, Sleepy Hollow, 82, Rossmoor 77, Monabello, 82, Crenshaw District, 78. It should wait concrete for Brownback mornings, our Power 106. Let's go! So, there's no fun fact today.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Well, I mean, the fun fact is, you know, it's the Crenshaw District. It's Nip's birthday. And let's celebrate it, man. to celebrate it, you know what I'm saying? There's no better fact than, you know, the man that, you know, took over the rap scene in the Crenshaw District and, you know, turns 40 today, man. So we love you, brother.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Happy B-Day. I want to ask you, where is Rosmore? Rossmore is right there in between Cerritos and Lakewood. Got it. Shout to Rossmore. Go to Rossmore bakery for the finest of panacitos right there, fire, fire, really necessary, yeah. Also, Ross is amazing, too.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Yes, yes. You get more for less. I don't hope there's a raw. us in Ross more. Please. Please. And I know it's back to school time for a lot of us kids that are going back to school. A lot of you started yesterday this week or next week.
Starting point is 00:19:42 I want to remind you what we are doing on the radio. Only for you listening. We're not putting this anywhere else because you're listening. You get to know about it. A lot of the supply list for going back to school say headphones, right? And it's tough. I know already the supply list is a lot to get, right? especially when you're down to the wire,
Starting point is 00:20:01 they gave my supply list on Tuesday. They start next Monday. I'd get all of that right away, right? So if on your supply list, it says headphones. We are gathering up a bunch of headphones that we can give out to the kids. Come next week. If you can come through to the Burbank area, we would love to give you some headphones for your supply list
Starting point is 00:20:21 so that your parent and you do not have to worry about that, okay? The thing that you got to do for us to get in contact with you, DM us, Morning's 106 on Instagram. I need to see a photo of that supply list. I will talk back and forth with your parents so that we could get the name, email, all of that stuff done and figure out how you can come through and pick those up for you. We just don't make the new school year a little bit easier.
Starting point is 00:20:46 And I heard, yes, schools do have their own kind of headphones, but they can be clanky sometimes. They can like maybe not work too well. It's not there bad. It's not there bad. But maybe we can help you out with a fresh new pair of headphones. Okay, again, Brownback Morning's 106 on Instagram. Shoot me over that supply list so that we could get it all on and popping, all right? About to get into the homie helpline.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Before we do, I want to big up and send love to Ashley de la Fuente. She hit me up. She's from La Puente. Ashley De La Fuente from La Puente. I love it. Her son, Evan, he's going to be having eye surgery today at 10.30. Really nervous, but excited at the same time to have his surgery. He's only seven.
Starting point is 00:21:27 He listens to us every morning. before school. So we just want to give them a shout out. We know that you got this event and you're going to see better than ever. You're going to have X-ray vision like Vic when it comes to other people's bank account. Yes. No, you got this. I hope.
Starting point is 00:21:44 I really, really hope it goes well for you. Matter of fact, I know it will. And shout out to Mom's Ashley for hitting us up. Let's get into the Homey Helpline. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line.
Starting point is 00:21:58 I mean, online. We got you for the homie helpline. Junior needs our help. The homie is lost after finding out he's got a kid and his best friend smash his baby mama. He hit us up back in May 7, 2025. He says, hey, Brownback, I could really use some advice. My girlfriend, Alex, and I broke up a while ago. And she recently told me that she still has feelings for me.
Starting point is 00:22:24 I'm trying to move on. But I still love her too. What should I do? And another thing, I'm already in a new relationship. Alex and I were together for seven years and I initiated the breakup because I wasn't feeling it anymore. But some since I think I made a mistake, I've been with my new girl for seven months now, and I really like her.
Starting point is 00:22:44 We have so much in common. We both love the same music. We go to Dodger games. Should I leave her for my ex or should I stay in the new relationship? I'm in. That was May 7th of this year. Today's update, he hit us up again. He needs more help.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Yeah, because the last time when we spoke to him, he not only learned that his ex wanted to be with him, I think he told us on the radio that his ex had called him and said, hey, I'm having your baby. So now he was like, I definitely don't want her, but now should I tell, I love how that changes. Oh, yeah, I miss her. I love to have the best time with her. Oh, she's pregnant. Oh, yeah, yeah, I don't want her. I don't want no parts. But he was like, should I tell my girlfriend or should I just leave my girlfriend ghost her, all of that?
Starting point is 00:23:28 He was really sad. Now there's an update concrete. There's an update. He says, hey, guys, I need help again. Okay. I'm not sure if you remember me, but two months ago, I DM'd you guys because I was caught in this crazy situation ship, trying to choose between my ex and my new girlfriend. I thought that was complicated enough.
Starting point is 00:23:46 But now I get, but now I got, but now it's even worse. I don't know where my ex hit me up with the biggest bombsha of my life. We have a kid. And on top of that, I feel. Founded out that she slept with my best friend John. What? Whose kid is it? We grew up like brothers when his parents were deported.
Starting point is 00:24:06 My mom gave him a place to live. She says she kept it from me because I didn't know who the father was at the time. I took the DNA test to make sure the kid was mine. And enough, I am the father. No. I am currently with my girlfriend and me and my ex-co-parent. My girl doesn't like her at all. and I'm trying to keep the relationship between me and my ex
Starting point is 00:24:29 on good terms for the kid, the child, El Nino. But besides that, I'm stuck. Should I confront my friend John or should I just let it be? Oh, that's why he's stuck? It's the, it's the homie situation? Pack him out. Pack them out.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Yeah. Respect. His mom took him in. No, who cares? Like, that's the whole thing of like, yo, my family took you in, showed you love. This is how you repay me?
Starting point is 00:24:55 You don't got to pack them out. You can just be. happy, live your life. What is it to him? John knows what he did. But this guy, Jr., doesn't need to tell him. Like, yo, I know what you did. John knows what he did.
Starting point is 00:25:06 And he knows why he did it? I guess my thing is, is why now? Because you're over, you're with someone. That's the whole conversation we had yesterday. You know what we have playing too? Like, it's been 17 years. I'm not too sure how much of a time it's been here. There's a baby involved.
Starting point is 00:25:22 You're co-parenting and you have a girlfriend. It's there, there's so much. But is it the principle of my friends still did this? Regardless of how I feel about said baby mama or my new relationship, it's not about a her and me. It's about a him and me. Yep. Bro, are you saying, like, Vic, are you saying he just let it go? No, I'm saying, like, don't rock with him no more.
Starting point is 00:25:46 But that's like, don't, like, pull up on his house and try to fight him and do all this stuff. Like, why give all your energy to that? You have way more going on. I mean, look, man, there'll be some fighting. words i'll tell you that much you don't you're not gonna hit my girl possibly get her pregnant now i gotta get a DNA test bro that's uh but that's so much word
Starting point is 00:26:05 that's not just his ex i get it i get it but that's let's talk to him that's my baby mom forget us forget what we think let's talk to let's talk to junior junior junior junior oh la junior your life's been a novella
Starting point is 00:26:25 You just hate us up two months ago about this. Hey, no. Hey, I don't know what to say. So how old is the baby, first of all? Let's start there. Well, he's about to be nine months. He's about to be nine months. She hit you up two months ago was when you were thinking this.
Starting point is 00:26:43 So the baby had already been born and she didn't tell you about it the whole time. She told you why she never made this something that she took. Like she kept it from you, right? The whole pregnancy she kept. Why? And she didn't know who his father was. And I was like, but recently I talked to her. I was trying to be like goody-goody with her and talking to her about it.
Starting point is 00:27:05 And she was like, who you thought the dad was? And she didn't want to tell me. She was like, just telling me, I'm not into you anymore. I just want to know. And she straight out told me I thought John was the father. And that's your friend. Yes. And do you think John had slept with her while you guys were together?
Starting point is 00:27:23 Or? She says no, but I don't believe nothing. She's like coming out of her mouth now. Are you and John still like in contact or like throughout the time been homie hanging out? My reason is he moved out to New York about seven months ago. The timing. Yeah, but 10 months ago, he was all up in that thing. How close are you?
Starting point is 00:27:49 You said you know his family, you grew up with him, all of that. How close are you and John? We are super close. Like you guys said, he grew up with me. When his parents got deported, my mom gave him a place to live. We were like brothers. So now it's not even about the baby. Your co-parenting, you got that figured out.
Starting point is 00:28:09 But should you confront this guy, John, is what you're asking? Yes. I'm literally like thinking of buying a ticket to New York. To New York. Just for the squad. But does John even have an idea that you know? No? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:25 Oh, so you're acting normal. Does John think he's the dad? I don't think he does. Because if she said she didn't know if it was you or John, she must have went through the same thing with him. I don't know. He doesn't want to think about it. All right.
Starting point is 00:28:45 He wants to know if he should go after his boy who slept with his ex and possibly fathered his child. Almost. Almost? Weesh. Well, didn't father his child. No, he didn't father his child. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:01 He just did the deed of possibly fathering the child. Hey, Jr., are you sad, bro? Are you sad? How do you feel? I'm not sad. I'm just angry. You're angry. This guy we grew up together, you know?
Starting point is 00:29:14 Yes. We went to the same school, same middle school, same high school. Equal it. And he slept with your now baby mama, your ex. Let me talk to you, Jr. Does it have anything to do with her? Are you sad because he slept with her? You're just sad because he did this to you.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Is she a factor in this at all? What has me that she said that she slept with him because she was mad that I left her? So that's something bad. Like she did it too, she got what she wanted. She wanted revenge on you even in her, just her brain because maybe she wasn't going to tell you. But she wanted to know that she did that to you, right? Because you left her. Now, a couple months ago when you first hit us up before you found out about the baby,
Starting point is 00:29:55 You told us you still love her too Yeah because you spent seven years together Yes So it's part of it although you're with someone new Is part of it like it hurt you because it's her A little bit Okay all right just want to make just because I know there's the The argument of the that it's the principle
Starting point is 00:30:16 You know Not gonna lie I have fought a best friend Not you Angie I've fought you uh no not you Maxie I didn't sleep with my man. Exactly. Because you metes and you know you know what you're getting.
Starting point is 00:30:32 In high school, I had a boyfriend. That was like my guy, right? It turns out in summer school, he took a class that a girl that I was really close to. So here, let me try to, let me try to, hold on. So in school, I don't know if y'all had this, but there was like, like your scrub.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Like it's a girl, It's a person in the grade lower than you that you kind of take over as like, that's my scrub, like that's my little mentee. Like I'm their person. Like I'm their big homie. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:04 So I had this person. Let's just call her E. Okay. E was like my little scrub like and then we went to high school and she met my boyfriend. And so she is younger than me. He's in a grade above me.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Okay. He took a summer school class with her. So a little tontito, but it was bonito. They have summer school together. I liked it. my boyfriend and like my little bestie they get along they're they're cool with each other that's it i know bro i know the next school year happens i don't know how but the gossiper of the school found out that my bestie and my boyfriend hooked up and she told me and i was like this is insane
Starting point is 00:31:43 that didn't happen i come from both of them both of them are like no what are you talking about matter of fact my little bestie was like girl please like letty come on like she was really like Making me feel bad about it, right? All right. The week later, I don't know, guilt hit my dude, and he admits in a letter that he hooked up with my little bestie. I go up to the little bestie because now I'm like, there's proof he said yes that you did this, right?
Starting point is 00:32:15 And she's like, well, what are you going to do? Say sorry? I hope you. Yes, I threw it down the stairs. She has a scar on her right till this day. Right? Wow. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:32:26 But to me it wasn't, because then he, he, my dude, he came in, he was like, yeah, babe, get her. And I looked at him mid, mid beat down. And I was like, this isn't for you. Like, I wasn't fighting her for him. Yeah. I was fighting her because of, one, what she did and how she acted about it after. I like how this sounds like Cobra Chi. I love it.
Starting point is 00:32:47 It happened in Cobra Cuy? Yeah. Oh, really? Yeah. All right. So, Jr., like, you have our permission. Yeah. So just.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Yeah. No. No? No. What? No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Oh, yeah. You have your suggestions. Let's go to calls first, though. Just know, it's the principal. It can be the principal. It's the principal. Yes. All right.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Rafael. Rafael in West Covina. Rafael, we got to talk to our guy Jr. I know I got out heated in my Casas de la Vida de Hoover High. But I want to tell you, Rafael, our guy Jr. He just found out he is a baby daddy to his ex-girlfriend's seven-month old baby. She kept it from him because she didn't know if he was the dad. They do a paternity test. He's the dad. He's in a new relationship. Still has love for baby mama. They're co-parenting.
Starting point is 00:33:35 His new girl doesn't really like the baby mama is that drama, right? But she's getting used to it. She's doing the best she can. Come to find out he's having a conversation with his baby mama and is like, hey, by the way, when you said you didn't know if it was mine, why did you say that? And then he's like, she's like, oh, it's because it could have been someone else's. Oh, oh, but who? But who? Um, your homie, John? Ha! John, the guy that was with him since they were young. The guy whose parents got deported.
Starting point is 00:34:04 John did this to him. And now he wants to take a trip to New York where John now resides and do something. Should he or should he not get the pass? Rafael in West Covina. You said you've gone through something similar, bro. Yeah, so I would say forget that food, bro. He didn't work your time. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:34:27 I had somewhat of a similar situation. I mean, she's not my ex. She's my wife now. But, um... What? I had a friend that I used to wear construction. This was when I was 18, 19 years old. I'm 32 now.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Okay. And this friend, I met him through construction. We had our ups and downs. We got real close, you know. I invited him over to my family parties. He'd be there. My family knew him. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:34:53 And then there was years later where he actually needed a place to live. I opened up my house. I gave him a room. You know, he had his own thing. At this time, I had my firstborn, which was my boy. He was a couple months old, and we had opened my house to this guy. I'm going to find out that this guy was secretly telling my girl when I'd be at work or when I'd be out of the house,
Starting point is 00:35:25 I could treat better. You should leave him. Dirty Macling. Dirty Mackey. Yeah. And so this was, I didn't find out until later because my girl was, she knows how I am. I'm a hot head.
Starting point is 00:35:41 If she would have told me, like, I would have done something then and there. But, yeah, so I had opened up my house to him. Before I found out the drama, I had opened up my own mom and dad's. house in him. He stayed there for months. I had a... What did you end up doing, Raphael? What did you end up doing, Rapha? I ended up... I didn't do nothing then at the time.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Years later, I found out he had a kid. So, uh... With her? I ended up hitting up... Yeah, with this other chick. Okay. And, uh, I ended up finding out, and I hit up his girl. And I told his girl, I was like, hey, uh, I just wanted to let you know. you're getting yourself into. Your boy's a dog.
Starting point is 00:36:26 I like that. And, uh, what you're gonna call it? And I can treat you better. Did you dirty back back? Did you do that? Yeah, I got him back. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Did you?
Starting point is 00:36:39 Okay, did he? I didn't do it, but I had a homie, another homie that hit up his girl and did the deed for me. Oh, what? I like it. That's what I was talking about. That's what I was going to suggest. But he's still married.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Right. Yeah, one part. I was going to go a little further. I wanted him, I wanted a junior to make John raise his junior. If, if John gets a girl. These are actual kids that are happening. That's crazy. These are human, he's going to have two dead.
Starting point is 00:37:06 It's fine. It's going to have two dads. But I thought, you know, hey, you almost got my girl pregnant. I'm going to actually get yours pregnant. And then you go ahead and raise him and I'll let you know on his 18th birthday. That was my suggestion. Like, conier? Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Just like that. Hold it. Like just hold it. What does his baby look like me for? All right. He looks like Junior. All right. Alex.
Starting point is 00:37:28 Alex in Paramount. Our guy Jr. Hit us up and told us that he recently found out that his baby mama also ended up sleeping with his best friend. This guy goes back back in a time with him. His family even got deported and Jr.'s family took this guy John in. Okay. He's talking to baby mama like, hey, what went on and why didn't you tell me about my
Starting point is 00:37:52 kid you just told me about him now that he's seven months old and she's like well i didn't know it was yours it could have been your friends too and now he just feels livid he feels livid about what his homie john did to him and is considering flying to new york where john now lives love how he left the scene of the crime john uh and wants to see if he should confront him what would you say Alex what should happen good morning um like like my semo said he got pack him out Okay, so go to New York and pack him out No, not say any questions Don't have no conversation
Starting point is 00:38:31 No questions asked No, don't even tell him why He knows why, like you said He knows what he did And he knows why Why are we even trusting baby mama so much Why are we just Why are we trusting baby mama's word so much
Starting point is 00:38:44 What if she's not telling the truth? Dienete's not saying the truth. Oh, you're right. The Nets is already proved that he's the dad, Junior. But she already said she used them as a pawn to get her revenge on back on Duke. Yeah and there's perfect
Starting point is 00:38:57 revenge. He's a pawn. He's got to get treated accordingly. Even if she might be like, there's always a little bit of truth behind a little lie. Why did you, why did you have to say him of all people? To hurt him. To hurt him. It could have been, Pulano, Joaquin. It had to be John. It had to be John. It had to be my guy.
Starting point is 00:39:17 You won't even let John explain himself. No. Hey, this happened to you? He's got to explain himself. There's no explanation. Like, I was in a similar situation. And I had to get my lip back. Tell us about Alex.
Starting point is 00:39:28 Tell us about Alex. All right. So I was my second baby mama, right? So me and my boy, we're just going to call him Burke. Me and Burke was like living together. We were moving maple trees a lot together. So, you know, we're moving together tied down. It's just supposedly allegedly.
Starting point is 00:39:46 And so cool. So we're roommates now. My baby mama living with me and we live with her pretty much. And then he's like Dirty Mac in the same thing. Dirty Mac and trying to get her job. jars or whatever. So, um, whatever, we move out. She didn't tell me nothing until me and her broke up and she was like, oh, this, because, um, because he had somebody like, oh, how do I put it? So I don't. Get to the point. What did you go, Alex? What did you do, Alex? When you found out, what did you do?
Starting point is 00:40:10 When I found out, cool, I went, he didn't know that I knew. So I got him for 12K and then I packed out his brother. What? Alex, you are petty. That's a, that's a wild turn. This happened in another state, and it happened over a decade ago, right? Yeah, yeah. Boom. This was in Gtta. Supposedly allergic to. Es somero, Alex.
Starting point is 00:40:33 It was in GTA. Yeah, yeah, video games. And you're ending with a chopped cheese? Come on. Perfect. I would just hope maybe he gets a little bit of proof. He should ask, like, I don't know if three ways still exists, like three-way the baby mama with the dude in New York.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Hey, yo, I don't know if you want to do that. She might like that. My Pes Scandalosa, right? What point do we blame her? Oh, for sure. Yeah. For sure. It's like breaking up friendship and everything too.
Starting point is 00:41:00 That's what I'm saying. That's wrong. It's all wrong. He can't really do anything to her. Nope. Because she said we were broken up at the time. Because now it turns into my homie did that to me, right? This is my ex.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Yeah. She owes me nothing, right? And then so she said with the homie for her, like, pride or whatever because he left her, right? And then also they have to watch the kid together. They have to co-parent. Yeah, you don't want to write your bad say. She's not correct. She was not wrong.
Starting point is 00:41:26 She was moving horrible, right? But his beef is with this guy. I would just hope there's something to prove it. Like a three-way call. All right, all right. Where he stays quiet and she's like, hey, I think Junior knows. So that John is like, what about what? Like, he has to confirm somehow that it happened.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Are we saying that he should call him right now? Is that what you're saying? Actually. A junior, would you let us ask, like, forget you beefing it with him or fighting him and possibly getting yourself caught up. Would you let us call him? I would if, I want him to tell me in person. You get me? Oh, in person.
Starting point is 00:42:11 We don't have time for that. Yeah. You got to do it now. You can't fly right now. Yeah. We got a couple minutes. What if we call him and I say that I'm a her home girl? Like it has nothing to do with you
Starting point is 00:42:23 You don't sound like her letty No I'm not trying to be her Her home girl I don't know about that You owe John nothing I get it I get it but I want to pack them out when I'm over there I don't think of shit No crazy no crazy

Starting point is 00:43:06 Ugh John John and Van Nuys We're talking You and our homie Jr. Trying to get him To give us
Starting point is 00:43:11 The number of His homie That slept with his X and now There was a baby involved There was a whole Paternity test
Starting point is 00:43:16 situation The homie of Junior doesn't know that Junior knows Junior knows that he slept with his ex but Junior is just so upset like it's just principal
Starting point is 00:43:29 I want come get these hands I want to take a flight from Los Angeles to New York to show it to you what do you say what advice do you give bro John
Starting point is 00:43:41 John John John Hey John Joe Le John John John What's up, bro?
Starting point is 00:43:49 Yes. What advice do you give to Argyz Jr.? Yeah, so I understand both sides of the coin. I think for me personally, it's like, say he does go over there and put hands on him, that doesn't really change the fact that what happened happened. You know what I mean? It's not like you're changing the past. And obviously, we're adults now, you know,
Starting point is 00:44:07 and don't let 10 seconds of anger take 10 years of your life. Because you don't know what's going to happen in a fight. You know what I mean? Sounds like he has a lot more going on. Yeah, that's the right thing to do. That's the right thing to do. You know, he got himself a girl. He got a new son.
Starting point is 00:44:21 You know, he's a lot more to lose than his homie. I think, and more so is just like, you karma find everybody. So karma's going to get his boy in New York one way or another. And it's like, it's like in a Bronx tale when Sonny tells a boy, like, hey, you know, he owes me 20 bucks or whatever. He's like, well, then you just pay 20 bucks to get rid of a bad friend. Yep. Yep. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:44:44 Yeah. Bronx town. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There you go. He could get hit by the L train. We never know.
Starting point is 00:44:49 John and Vena is you are not calling from New York, by the way, John? No. Okay, you're not sure. You're not that guy. You're not a little scared. You never hit the homies girl? Nah, no, never. I got too much respect.
Starting point is 00:45:02 There you go. You never fish or nobody? Y'all want to turn into Matt Barnes, huh? Damn, y'all crazy, bro. That's crazy. By the time he gets to New York, but he's like, hey, man, let's just get some lunch, though. We need to talk, bro What is it?

Starting point is 00:45:27 Talian. It's all good, though. What do you think of that, Jr.? What do you think of concrete? Well, I really want concrete's opinion because he's the oldest one in the bunch of word. What should I do, concrete? I didn't say it.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Bro, don't be spending no money to go out there, bro. What? Just wait until he comes in town and you catch him slipping out. here, bro. By the time you get out there, you're going to go spend money, catch a flight, get a hotel, get a rental. Oh my gosh, I got it. You're going to spend all this money, bro?
Starting point is 00:45:54 For what? That's crazy. Just stay home, bro, relax. Your baby's nine months old or seven months old? How is your baby? What, it would be, what, nine? Nine months. Bro, invite him to your one-year-old baby birthday party.
Starting point is 00:46:12 He don't know that you know, bro. Damn Theo wants to see Yeah, like hey bro Like you mean so much to me I want you to be a part of this The guilt If this fool does not say something On his own accord
Starting point is 00:46:24 There you go And you got a family party Full of your cousins No no No do it Oh Ask him to be the godfather That's evil
Starting point is 00:46:38 That's evil I like it I like it Penny what's up I like that Yeah You're welcome. Situation just arises, bro.
Starting point is 00:46:50 You slept with this girl, and then she ends up sleeping with your homie, right? Just situation arises. Your Eskimo brothers. Who one of your homies? And then he tells you, but your homie don't know. Then he tells you, hey, Greg, I want you to be my kid's godfather. Do you tell him? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Do you be the godfather? Oh, my God. Did he make me an offer I can't refuse? He made you love me. You couldn't refuse. If she's like the baddest girl ever, I have to be the godfather that kid. What? I have to.
Starting point is 00:47:23 I have to. What? That's Gregor. That is Creepy Nino? Yeah, I have to. And when he says, Miko, it's different because it could have been him. He's, ah, my mom. And you never tell that homie.
Starting point is 00:47:37 I could never tell him. No, I can't. She has to be like the baddest one. I'm like, you know what? That's a crazy situation, though. It's crazy, Greg. Yeah. Free Greg.

Ooh. What is it? All right. In painting, what do you call a color mixed with white? What? What? It's a real good. Five. Five. Four, three, three, two. Two, one. What color? Just in general?

Starting point is 00:52:53 I was going to say a swatch. What? That makes sense. You turned your own mic off. That's crazy. I was a... Coffin. Cabin no person.
Starting point is 00:53:01 All right. Well, come through to your lunch attention. It's a blast. Yeah. We need one more person to win. Por favor. Pick me again. All right.

Starting point is 00:53:15 Buenos dejas. Denise. Denise. Choose your classmate baby girl. Yeah. Okay. So last time, Angie got it wrong with the two chart questions that you ask.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Oh, I did. I'm going to choose her. I'm going to choose her. Thank you, Denise. She's trying to wrong, so much she was her. She don't want to go. She don't want to go. You do it in the wheel.
Starting point is 00:53:38 Angie, that's pretty crazy. That's yeah. I didn't get it. Angie's wrong, so I feel like I'm a goal with her. I like Denise. I like Denise. Oh, foreign language. Foreign language.
Starting point is 00:53:49 Can't even speak more? Angie, you chill. That's rude. That's why you're in detention. I suppose to big each other up on the radio It's a mean class, sorry, sorry, sorry. All right, Angie. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:04 What language do they speak in Portugal? Portuguese? Too easy. Great job, Angie. Congratulations. That's a trick question. I'm reading what's on this. Layup.
Starting point is 00:54:21 No. You just made one too. I know. So shut up. Yeah, for a late. You're welcome. You're welcome, Denise. You're going.
Starting point is 00:54:28 Let's just for it. It's some giggles. Let's go to Nelly. Nelly and Langeese. Nelly. Nellie. Nellie. Nellie.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Hi, Nellie. Nellie, who's your, who's your co-worker? Who's your classmate? Classmate. I'm choosing Maximo. Let's go. Let's go. Spin the wheel, please.
Starting point is 00:54:50 And can we stop getting foreign language? I have another question. I have one more. Spin, yeah, please. Let's go, let's go. Let's go. Geography. Geography.
Starting point is 00:54:58 All right. Oh, yes. Yeah. Well, I said something wrong. All right, bro. Are you ready? I'm ready. You got this.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Born ready. You got this, my guy. Which U.S. state is known as the sunshine state? Oh. Five. Four. Three. Florida.
Starting point is 00:55:18 All right. Is it Florida? Yeah. Wow. Good job. Good job. Good job. All right.
Starting point is 00:55:29 Like sauce. All right. UNG and VIG. Yeah. Whatever. Nurtz. So well. NERTS.
Starting point is 00:55:38 I can't hear you all the way from detention. Yeah. We just have the P. teacher watching us weird during lunch. We do. You wouldn't know. Anyway, all right. Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Not so excited, man. We're going to do this again come Monday. But Angie, what's coming up inside Sun Mazzala? All right, you guys. Pete David said, Pete Davidson Deep Deep Davidson
Starting point is 00:56:03 Deep Davidson Deep Davidson I know that guy too Okay maybe Greg was right About the foreign language Okay no Pete Davidson He's claiming that his stinging
Starting point is 00:56:18 hurt him And you guys He's really embarrassed about it Okay Gotta get a check It's a sting Okay Hey.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Sambra Sala with Angie. I'm sorry, Angie. Sorry, Eman. What did you do, Vick? We have an intercom that we go back and forth on the radio for. And then who did you really talk to? You told me to press number one. And I accidentally pressed number two and said,
Starting point is 00:56:50 Eman, we're going to do number one. Wait. So who were you talking? I don't even know. On air? Sambra Sala with Angie. All right. When you guys think of Pete Davidson, what do you guys think?
Starting point is 00:57:06 Like your first thought. I think that he had great girlfriends. Funny guy. A big Peter. What's the reason? He's a hip-hop. He's a hip-ting, ding, ding, ding, ding. Big got it right, you guys.
Starting point is 00:57:15 Yeah. Say it again. A big Peter. That's not the first thing I think about it. Yeah, we're going to skip that. He just thinks that of Pete Davidson. Yes, we are. But actually, you know what?
Starting point is 00:57:23 Thank you for bringing it up, Victor. Because apparently. No, because apparently. Thanks, me. You know. Go and bring it up. Go on. Go, go.
Starting point is 00:57:32 Go, go. And bring it down. Okay. But apparently you know how like there was this big rumor saying about like how big it is and all that stuff 10 inches? Thanks to Ariana Grande, right? What? But apparently that rumor actually heard him and it was really, really embarrassing. It's embarrassing because, you know, it's Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Everybody's everyone. Everybody's dating everybody. Why are they focusing on me? It's because, you know, I'm just this like dude that tells jokes that look that is a drug addict. And it had nothing to do with a comedy. What? So he's saying all of that just really it hurt him. It was really embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:58:08 Like Hollywood was just talking all about it. Like him being on SNL, like even like the cast was like he was rubbing the cast the wrong way. Yo. His words. Not only that, but he's like, you know what? SNL loved it because everybody was talking about the show. But the cast, they hated him. And not only that, but it actually ruined some or affected some of his relationships.
Starting point is 00:58:31 That stuff affects relationships. Seeing that and trying to move around and go on dates and just be like a young dude who's trying to figure out who he is. I don't want to victimize myself in any way because I'm cool. But like the sexualization of me, if that was a girl, there would be a march for it. Got it. Because I was asking, does he specifically mean that that rumor about his size is what did all of this? Yes. He really said like that really hurt me. They asked them like, hey, like, so is that rumor true?
Starting point is 00:59:06 And then he's like, you know, bro, like that really, that was embarrassing. That was hurtful. People just saw me as this guy. Pete Davis. Shut up, bro. Shut up. Oh, my God. I have a long slung, bro.
Starting point is 00:59:21 I have a problem. Oh, gosh. You guys, I really understand his struggle. What do you? Because I've had rumors. I've had rumors about me and my big Peter. And it does affect you. People start thinking things of you.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Like she doesn't even like you for you. She just wants you for your body. You know what I'm saying? That's one. Also people just start to have envy for you. And it's just a rumor like it's never been confirmed or denied. But like Duno like made that claim and it's like stuck to me. I don't know what we were having a conversation about.
Starting point is 00:59:54 But he just pops out the mouth. Vic, how big is it? Yeah. It must be super. Mm-hmm. that's what he said and it's just like people like think that of me and it could potentially
Starting point is 01:00:05 lead to disappointment. Hey, that's it for Sondres I love. Brought to you by a local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Angie from Brownback mornings on Power 106. Now to go to the biggest of the mall. Yes. DJ Eve! You know what they say?
Starting point is 01:00:26 You know, DJs, well, me in particular, I got 12 inches right here. It's vinyl. No, no. He did he said 12 inches. Oh, yeah. Because if not he would be DJ D-Man. So much information.
Starting point is 01:00:44 Get your mind out to go to the other. So much information. All right. We got to reset. It's our 106. LA's number one for hip-hop. Thank you so much for tuning in today. It's Friday.
Starting point is 01:00:54 You know, it is back to school week. Summer's about to end on us. But before we got to do all that, we got to send love to our guy Nipsey Hustle. his birthday today my guy would have been 40 years old today and we're celebrating
Starting point is 01:01:08 with none other than the legendary DJ Eman. Eman, you got a mix for us. Absolutely. Let's celebrate the life and the music of Nipsey Hustle on his birthday today. Let's do it. And we're going to get into the house party right after that, y'all, let's go.
Starting point is 01:01:20 It's Power 106. I love you, Nick. Evening that in the mix right now that feel good Friday. Yeah. Thank you for that, Amy. You are incredible. I appreciate you, bro.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Thank you so much. Friday, next Friday. Same time? Every Friday, every Friday. Let's go. Every Friday. And keep me here because there's more brown back on the way.
Starting point is 01:01:51 What's going down, Victor? Look, Cardi B is showing she's the queen of rap and she's dissing one of hip hop's newest stars. I'm going to play her new single next. Connected like I'm Rosecrans. Roos Krans. The word on Rose Krans, Vic. The word is, I'm Rose Kranz, Vic.
Starting point is 01:02:08 And Cardi B is a menace, you guys. She is a menace. And her new song, Imaginary Player. is showing how she's the queen of rap and she's not like these other female rappers. This is how she starts her new single, guys. Cardi B, every son platinum, I'm not the other. Whatever you was going to pay her, you got a double it. Gloryhole.
Starting point is 01:02:30 Don't know who they fucking with. Hey, yo. She is a metaphor. She is a menace. Yes. Because in a glory, you don't know who's on the other side. And then she's saying that that's, you don't know who you're messing with. At all.
Starting point is 01:02:45 And to me, it sounds like she's coming for Ice Spice, you guys. Why? Straight up. She's coming for Ice Spice. I think it is, especially when she talks about how somebody's 15 minutes of fame are up. Listen to this. Boston, Twitter must be gassing them heavy, making them jump in the ring with the brim before they ready. I see fan pages, make avatar changes.
Starting point is 01:03:05 All that old love got a new fan base. Now you're 15 up. You're ready out of time. I'm a legend. They're going to hit my hills from the power lines. Oh, that little laugh. Wait, what makes you think that it's ice spice? I'm still not understanding.
Starting point is 01:03:20 Saying Twitter got you gassed up. Okay. Okay. Fan pages are switching their avatars up. Uh-huh. So that means like... Yeah, like they're like migrating. Like the celebrity that they obsess over is one to the other.
Starting point is 01:03:32 They're moving on. But how is that ice too? That little, okay, that little laugh. And then at the end, she said they're going to hang my heels up in the Bronx. They're both from the Bronx. They're both from the Bronx. Didn't Ice Spice have a gas bar? Like a fart bar?
Starting point is 01:03:47 Fart and gas different. No, but it's like the same... Yeah. Twitter got you gassed up. No. So there's... I like this song a lot because it's like bars after bars after bars.
Starting point is 01:03:56 But there's like literally like a part where she says like you guys think I'm the ish, something like that. And that's when I thought I'm like, that's the jab to Ice Spite. Because Ice Spice says you think he's the is is. Yeah. You're not even the fart. Yeah. And then she goes on and she's like, yeah, I'm the one and the two and the bam, bam, bam.
Starting point is 01:04:12 That's party. And... Yeah. Cardi even talks about how somebody flops and her flops are different. Listen to this. My flop and your flop is not the same. If you did my numbers, y'all will pop champagne. If I did your numbers, I will hop out of plane. Suicide if I fall from the distance to you and I. So I, I spy sold 28,000 records. Okay. Cardi B has sold 25 million. And so she said if I got your number. Your numbers, I would jump out of plane.
Starting point is 01:04:44 They were talking about flip-flop. And it's in the spirit of this song, because it's a sample of Jay-Z's imaginary player. I'll play a little snippet of that. That brown paper bag under your magic drug money. You got show-dough, little to no-dough. Sell a bunch of records and you still owe-do. I got 996 plus four-modo. At the time.
Starting point is 01:05:04 Yeah, that's the same theme of the record. Exactly. And he was talking about Mace. He was talking about Bad Boys Mace at the time, how he was on the up-and-coming. and people were saying, oh, Mace might be better than Jay. And he put him in his place essentially with that song, with imaginary players. So to me, that's like the same exact thing. And she even got Jay Z's blessing.
Starting point is 01:05:23 She got Jay Z's blessing. She talked about it. And she said, if he didn't approve it, I probably wouldn't even feel a certain type of way neither. Because it's like, okay, maybe I just had to come a little bit harder. But she said, I'm glad I came hard and he loved it. Pause. All right. I like where you're going with this.
Starting point is 01:05:38 As it relates to Ice Spice, who would be that. that new come rapper from New York, the girl version, right? The female MC that's killing. Everybody's talking about it. She just had a photo where everyone was like, oh, my God, she looks Bob and her mom and all of that. Right. Cardi B would be her OG. Yep.
Starting point is 01:05:56 And so this is to her, like, you're not seeing me. At all. You might be on the come up, but you're not seeing me. At all. Should she have been more arm around here? Because this is like a pattern, low key. For example, Lil Kim, when Nikki Minot was coming out, little Kim didn't put her arm around.
Starting point is 01:06:11 around there. And so Nikki Minaj, when she first came out, she was like, look, you could have, your legacy could have lived on with me, but now you're just going to be bitter and you're going to be old, right? Some would say then Nikki Minaj did something similar to another New Yorker, Cardi B, when Cardi came out. It was like, let me turn best to not, maybe just not acknowledge, right? And so now it would seem that Cardi B, who's been like, look, I show every girl love, like, I'm not, excuse me, I'm not with that. I'm not going to do what was done to me. Seems like, now you're doing it. Yeah. That doesn't seem like Cardi.
Starting point is 01:06:43 It doesn't, but history is like repeating itself even like exactly to what you said. Specific to even like the, you know, with where they're from. It's like they're both from the Bronx. You know what I'm saying? Dominican? Yes. So, you know, even that. And it's like they had past interactions where it seemed like they might have been cool.
Starting point is 01:07:00 But the fact that Ice Spice went ahead and like did so many songs with Nikki Minaj who was Cardi B's number one off. You chose up. You chose up. chose your OG is is Nikki Minaj. You know, so by default, it's like we're never going to be cool and really have that relationship. Go ahead, but I don't think the whole song is just like stabbing at a ice spice. It is players, so it's multiple.
Starting point is 01:07:25 I just think like maybe it was like that literally like that one bar which it's like they think I'm the ish and do. That's literally the part that I thought like that was towards ice spice. Everything else was like I thought it was too towards Nicki Minaj. Can't wait for all these new fart bars from. I love it. So excited. Then y'all better never talk smack about J. Cole and his poop bars, all right?
Starting point is 01:07:48 It's not the same. It's not the same. I don't like either. I'd rather hear an iced spice fart if anything. Oh, thanks, Greg. All right. That was your word on Rose Cranz brought you by local Southern California Toyota dealers. I'm Rose Cranzvic for Brownback Mornings.

Starting point is 01:11:15 This should be played at every orientation. You got to think it's low-key and art and talent how they can do it at the same time. Yes. They're all their videos. Yeah. They double up whatever they're saying. And they say that's right. And not just a couple words.
Starting point is 01:11:32 That's a whole thing. I honestly wanted to hate on it, but they gave sound advice. Like, that was incredible. Great advice. It was great advice. I wish I had this when I was going into high school. I was definitely don't graduate on stage advice right there. Go to parties.
Starting point is 01:11:48 Join a click. No. No. What do you mean? That's what we did? How about do your homework? Be on time. I feel like they said that.
Starting point is 01:11:58 They said that. At the end. Yeah, because they try to get your attention. You're not going to listen at first. People don't remember people like that. They remember the hard teachers. You remember the hard asses The mean ones?
Starting point is 01:12:10 Yes The mean teachers You remember the ones that taught you something You don't remember the one that lets you You know do whatever you want None of that But you also remember the Diaz I told you to go have fun
