Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more Brownback, the better. Come on. It's Karen 106. L.A.'s number one for hip-hop. Buenos Aires. Brownback Morning's Baby, 633. August. Oh, that was a good mix, though. August 21st is me is what I'm doing with my hands.
Starting point is 00:00:22 And it's also Gregsy's birthday. Happy birthday. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Say who's in the room, brother, man. We have concrete in the room.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Yes, one of the best comedians in the world. Oh, in the world, Craig. In the world. And then right next to him, we have Rosecrans Vic. Rosecrans, Vic. Got the sickest kicks and the best hats out there. Wow. Oh, you're full of compliments today.
Starting point is 00:00:46 We already got your present, bro. Chill. I wonder what it is. And then we have Maximo. He might be a scammer, but he has a heart in there somewhere. Oh, I agree. I agree. And then we have Angie.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Yeah. The reason a lot of songs get. ruined for me is because of her because she sings them wrong. I remix them, okay? So I think about her when I hear the song. You think about Angie. I love that. All right.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Angie's here. And then we have the one and only, the one and only. Lettipaniche. Say something nice. The greatest of all times. Oh, okay. Okay. Welcome to the show.
Starting point is 00:01:22 We're going to get into concrete weather in just a second. But I think we have to figure out a new name for Gavin Usum. You know how what's his face had, Governor Nader? Oh, that's the way that Gavin Newsom has been trolling the Trump administration and just America right now in these past weeks where he's typing in all caps. Yeah. He's talking about Matt, let me show you how he's talking. He's, I'm going to read some tweets. Wow.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Fox News can't stop talking about me. Gavin C. Newsom. America's favorite governor. Tonight, their entire prime time lineup was about me. Jesse Waters kept calling me daddy. Very weird, not interested, but thank you. many people are saying and I agree that I Gavin C. Newsom, America's favorite governor,
Starting point is 00:02:05 deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. Why? Because of the most incredible maps in the history of mapping. Even Columbus. He's doing. He's essentially matching energy, at least of the style of tweets like President Donald Trump. And he seems to be all about it. This is what he said to anybody that has any kind of critique on him.
Starting point is 00:02:24 If you've got issues with what I'm putting out, you sure as hell should have concerns about what he's putting out as president. So to the extent it's gotten some attention, I'm pleased. But I think the deeper question is, how have we allowed the normalization of his tweets through social posts over the course of the last many years? This dude's doing like a social experiment on us. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:45 And especially, I guess this is what happens, right? To put a little bit more like political. Yeah. Every time someone's in office, the other party criticizes them. Then the other party goes in office, does the same thing. And that previous party criticizes them. But it's never kind of happened at the same time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Right? Mm-hmm. So now the governor's like, I'm going to hit you the exact same way so that you look at the mirror of what we're kind of critiquing when it comes to Trump. Right. It's like you can't beat them join them. Yikes. But I appreciate a good troll. It's a good troll.
Starting point is 00:03:19 And this is it. And you know what? Victor, you set it off. Can you please say it on there about what's behind a good troll? Oh, behind every good troll and ishtalker is a Latina. Okay. All right. They currently, the head of the governor, the president of press secretary office situation is a 29-year-old Latina from Stockton, California.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Wow. Our name is Camille Zapata. Sapata. She's Zapata. I looked up to see if she's related, like, of a descendant of her. It doesn't say definitively, but she definitely shares the same spirit. For sure, yeah. Same spirit.
Starting point is 00:03:51 She's come out and say, like, hey, don't put it on me. This is all, like, the governor. Like, we're just doing his work. But I know she's, like, all caps right now. what to say. Call me, call him, they're calling him GNC now. Like, you know,
Starting point is 00:04:02 because it's DJT. It's a full blown right here. Yeah. And Latinas, they got the best comebacks that'll hurt. Oh, yeah. It's like, oh,
Starting point is 00:04:11 say this, put that. Don't forget to put this. Did you put what I said? Someone, I guess, on the other side of the aisle, tweeted that, uh, the president doesn't even use all caps like that for any more,
Starting point is 00:04:22 like after last week. Oh, my, and I'm wondering how much of that is because it's like, see what he's doing? I can't do the, thing he's doing. He's being mocked. So now he's like switching up like, you know, when someone's like, uh, starts copying
Starting point is 00:04:35 every single thing you're saying. Yeah. It's like, what? Like now he's trying to like dodge it. Yeah. I like it. I'm not even mad at it. I'm like, keep going.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Keep going. We've talked about this because what do they say like, uh, we, because he's still, there's a very problematic stuff about Gavin Newsom. Yeah. And just anybody in office in general, there's always going to be like that, hey, what are you, why are you tweeting right now? Mm-hmm. Right?
Starting point is 00:04:58 Yeah. But at the same time, I guess it takes this to combat if they would like to that party, combat the other party. Because, like, it's such a strong personality in Donald Trump that they need another strong personality. And I think gone are the days of when they go high, you go low. He's like, no, when he goes, or when they go low, you go high. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:17 When they go low, we go outside. At this point, yeah, no, he's going so low. He's playing limbo. There you go. Yeah, I mean, we just got to realize that because of social media, this is going to always be like the way politics are going to move just tweeting
Starting point is 00:05:32 trolling all that it's the new wave it doesn't seem real it seems like like a movie like a parody or something like that I just like that there's like a wrestler in the matrix or whatever that I'm like okay I guess I could go for this one
Starting point is 00:05:44 you don't know what I'm saying the other ones don't really fit me yeah they're basically cutting promos against each other yeah literally wrestling yeah so what's the new name for for Newsom?
Starting point is 00:05:55 Yeah I have one you do It's not that good. Okay, say it. The Gavanator. Because, you know, like, he's a governor. Oh, the Gabbinator.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Okay, okay. Just work with me here. Work with me here. Yeah, it works. All right? The Gabbinator. I'm still going to think about it because he's also a podcast, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:13 So he's a potter. So something with. I don't know. I don't know. Not Gavin Potter. You're a wizard. Potter. All right.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Let's get into the weather with concrete. And now the weather. Hell the dogs. With concrete storm. The extreme heat advisory continues southern California from 11 a.m. today to Saturday, 9 p.m. I would say it's going to go up until Monday, Perito. So stay cool out there. Don't leave your dogs or your children in the car unattended because these heat waves are going to be super lit.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Perrito, perrito, stay hydrated. Drink a miche. Drink whatever you got to do, but stay hydrated the whole weekend up until Monday. All right, Perito, so don't forget. about that. First, we are back handing our way to the city of Pomona. You peritos questioning, if you're living in Arizona, your high will be 100 degrees early. Wow. Super early. Next, we pour a little water for the homies out in East LA. Stay hydrant, peritos, or this heat that will be like a way. Your high will be 96 degrees. And now we go melt our
Starting point is 00:07:21 way to the city of Banning. You're going to have to spread those cheeks and start fanning because it's going to be a hundred and one. 101. It's going to be 101 degrees, perrito. So stay cool out there. And lastly, we sip an hour fresh in Pasadena. Catch me swimming naked in your Tia's tina. Your high will be 99 degrees, perititos.
Starting point is 00:07:43 So it's going to be hot all week. Like I said, stay hydrated. Keep your dogs and children outside of your cars and all that. Just take them inside, do whatever. Don't be that parent that leaves their kids or their dogs inside. And then tragedy strikes. So make sure to do that. Pasadena, quick little fun fact about Pasadena that I think they should bring back back in 2006 to LA Metro System implemented a policy that you could not stink and be in the public transit.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Oh, that makes sense. So like right now you're going to be all sudado, pata smelling. They don't want it to be acidina. Nalga smelling. That was good big. Clarit. Sometimes you can't help what you smell. Passedia, Tampoc.
Starting point is 00:08:22 So be cool out there, Pasadena. That should be good at Kahnka, on Brownback Mornings for Power 106. Let's go. You know, I had to tell Horde, like, remind him, like, hey, please put ice in the boys. Even though they have the hydroclass and it's cold water, I'm like, more put ice because it's one of those days. This is when those days when those frozen water bottles hit. Yes. Like, you used to freeze them.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Yep. And they just last you the whole school day. Do one of those. Rapped and forth. I make money moves. Yeah, you do. And you're going to have to find a way to make more money, especially if you love gaming. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Yesterday, PlayStation made the announcement that they will be upping their prices starting today, y'all. They said similar to many global businesses, we continue to navigate a challenging economic environment. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to increase the recommended retail price, excuse me, for PlayStation 5 consoles in the U.S. starting on August 21. That's today, your birthday, Greg. Okay, so PlayStation 5s are going to go. for 54999. All right.
Starting point is 00:09:28 PlayStation 5's digital edition. What the heck is that? It doesn't have a disc player. It's a hard drive inside of the... Why? It's old. 49999. And then the PlayStation 5 Pro, it's going to cost you almost 800 bucks, $749.49.
Starting point is 00:09:47 All right? They say the recommended retail prices for PlayStation 5 accessories remain unchanged. So, like, get those headphones, get some things. I love the reasoning. It's like, hey, things are really pricey right now and people can't afford life, so we're going to raise this too. Yes.
Starting point is 00:10:01 We just need a match. Yes. We just got a match to. But what I realized, too, is that I was like, wait, did everything raise their prices? So Xbox also did this in May. Uh-oh. And they raised their prices about $100 for their Xbox Series X. And nobody noticed, nobody cared.
Starting point is 00:10:18 They didn't make an announcement. They probably just didn't want to make the announcement that they were also getting more bread. But I will tell you this as I'm researching. the story, I'm like, oh, like, I can't wait to use this sound, right? PlayStation. But it turns out that's not even the sound of PlayStation anymore.
Starting point is 00:10:32 This is the sound of PlayStation. Yeah. I miss the old one. It's the new age. No, put the other one. Put the other one. I like this one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:42 It makes like, nah. The great PlayStation. The one that I got. Yeah, the first one. That's the one that I love. The one that I got when I was 10. Yeah. It's the one that made you a fan.
Starting point is 00:10:51 It's the one that made you a fan. Gaming like this, will they keep you from? buying the console. A lot of people already have it, no? A lot of people have it, yeah. It's just like jacking up the price. So it's like, damn, like, in case you wanted another one, it just feels dumb that you're paying more for the same thing.
Starting point is 00:11:08 More dumb than being an adult playing video games? Yeah, I don't relate. I don't play video games anymore. Oh, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding, all right. The adults playing video games can also join this new community of adults. It's adults that are buying kiddie meals, okay?
Starting point is 00:11:24 There is a new survey conducted by Lightspeed Commerce that says that adults are going to diners in different food places and ordering kids meals up 44% than they were in previous years. That's smart. Yeah. The portions on a kids meal are way smaller. So if you don't want too much food, too little food, kids meal is up. So if you're like food prepping, go for the kids meal. Yes. Well, if you're hungry.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Like if you're trying to portion. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't feel as bad. Like if you eat like a big meal, you get meat, you still ate it. You still ate bad. You still ate bad. But it's not as bad.
Starting point is 00:12:04 It's not as bad. It's a smaller portion. Yes. It makes sense? It does make sense because I do this all the time. I'm like, because sometimes I'm like, yeah, I'm hungry, but I'm like, I know I'm not going to finish the whole thing. So I'm like, let me just get a happy meal.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Or not a happy meal, but like just like a kids meal in general. Anywhere. Yeah, I'll go to, I'll go to Keynes with Jen. Mm-hmm. Our social media girl. and she will get the kids meal. And I'm like, Jen, what do you do with the toy? Well, she's like 90 pounds.
Starting point is 00:12:32 No, I get it. It's like, what do you do with the toy? Like, what do you do with, like, I just don't understand it. That is true. Okay, I'll be honest, I just throws her trash. Wow. There's a little kid that doesn't have a toy. Well, I don't have kids and I don't, like, my knees is wrong, bro.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Angelica. I know. I know. I know. Now I just, yeah. All this feels very dishonest by you guys because it's like, oh, can I get a kid? Where's the kid? Where's kids?
Starting point is 00:12:54 Is he in the car? Okay. Okay. What hell's a kid at? You know what I'm saying? Sometimes you got to just pick up the food to take home. Okay. Exactly that.
Starting point is 00:13:03 They don't know. You don't feel guilt? No. You're basically lying. Hold on. When I'm in the car and I order a kids meal and the kids are not in the car, I feel guilt. Like, I feel like they're looking at me like, who's the kid's meal for, lady? Put a red mark on her car right now.
Starting point is 00:13:16 No. No. They don't know. I'm going home. She's trying to scam the system. No, they don't know that I'm going home. But actually, funny story. Because I went to this diner one time and I tried to order from the kids meal.
Starting point is 00:13:27 And they're like, it's for 11 and younger. We cannot sell it to you. Exactly. They've done that. And I hated it. And I hated it. Like IHop has the kids meals, the kids pancakes. If I see you and you with the happy-faced pancake, come on.
Starting point is 00:13:41 Well, sometimes I want a color too. Yeah, no, if you're ordering at a diner, you always got to order to go for kids meals or else they're not in the serving. You guys are liars. Or is anyone doing it because it's cheaper? Yes. Yeah. No, I'm not. That's the reason.
Starting point is 00:13:54 No. Yeah, $25 dollar compos, that's crazy. Mm-hmm. What? Yeah, a lot of the places to go eat for an adult and what the kid would get, the price is insane. There's a spot that we go and we get the fetichini Alfredo and the kids portion, nine bucks.
Starting point is 00:14:09 The adult portion, 25 bucks. And I was like, okay, we just get a bunch of kids. Elferdos. Be an adult, deal with inflation. I'm hilarious. No. Or you can get some food for free over in Arcadia. They have a bunch of goats and she.
Starting point is 00:14:23 that have finished clearing more than 21 acres of dense vegetation as part of a brush clearing and fire prevention effort in the foothills above Arcadia. They're finished, you guys. Good. They're done. Also, they got thick. Nobody's picked them up yet? Nobody's picked them up yet.
Starting point is 00:14:43 They're thick and ready to go. It's your birthday. We can have BD out for your birthday, bro. It's buried under the ground, too. Cook it. Okay. I'm saying there's people thinking things. I'm just telling you where they're at.
Starting point is 00:14:55 And they're free range? They're free range. Only greens in their diet. Oh, it's healthy. All right. Hey, it's Greg C's birthday, and later we're going to do the homie hookup line on Greg C. He wants some woman to dominate him, okay? It's what you want.
Starting point is 00:15:15 It's what you want for your birthday, and we're trying to give you what you want, brother, man. I'm dumb. All right. He wants to turn into a simp. Speaking of, let's get into Simper Pinn. Pimp or PIMP. BIMP. SIMP SIMS SIP, SIP, SIP, SIP, SIP, SIP.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Today's SIMP nominee goes to a legendary TV icon. We all saw him as kids. He took care of some of us while our parents may have left us home alone or didn't even know we were home alone because we did school. Exactly. Maripovich. Gaye, I saw. So, you know, he coined the You Are Not the Father.
Starting point is 00:15:47 That part. Frays. Jose. Jose, you are not. Yes, Jose. Congratulations. Well, there you go. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Well, Mari actually recently started a podcast called On Par with Mari. And one of his first guest was actually his wife, Connie Chung, who was actually a news anchor as well. You know, she did her thing in the 80s. Yeah, she was the first Asian American news anchor. I think she wrote a whole book about it in her experience in Hollywood and just making that, I guess, planning that flag for Asian Americans and news and journalism. And it was interesting because of the office. Obviously, they're talking about the relationship, and things took a turn while talking about her memoir where he told her something that she was doing messing around. You became a big star.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Well, no, I mean, whatever. And you kind of messed around with stars. Oh, you didn't? Bro, I feel like I'm watching an episode right now. Yeah? This is waiting so much. It's like you can't turn it off. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:52 It's like, I got a lie detector determined. But yeah, so, you know, obviously he brought that up. And the reason he brought it up is because of the book that she was dropping. No, I did not mess around with them. I knew them. You messed around with them. Okay, shall I start talking? No.
Starting point is 00:17:12 It's in the book. Yo. I like it. Yo! She's so calm up with the answers, too, which I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Well, she's probably used to this Mari. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:17:25 How long they've been made? Like 40-something years? 41 years. Wow. She couldn't. So, you know, just so people know, they actually, during this time, they weren't exclusive. They were dating. They weren't married yet.
Starting point is 00:17:36 They were exclusive. During which time when she was messing around with stars? And then he decided to just say one of the stars' names. Warren Beatty. You know what my sister said about Warren Baby? Yes. Every woman who came to California had to go through him. It was like an immigration.
Starting point is 00:17:54 system. My gosh. Jeez. Dog. Yo. He's kept that. He probably tells her that every night. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:03 You know what I'm saying? That's probably the one that gets to him. Like, oh, girl, you're with Dick Tracy? No, dog. There was another one, too, and the pot he talks about it's like, you were even with an eagle. Not the animal, a band member of the. The Eagles? Hotel California.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Yes. Oh, she was in Hotel California. Oh, man. Why he got to bring up old stuff? I thought that's our job. Yeah. I think he was jealous because she would tell him like, oh, yeah, you're just like, you don't remember the girl's names that you were with. And everyone that he named was like a star or somebody with emotion.
Starting point is 00:18:37 And I feel like that bothered him. To this day. Absolutely did. And I was like, I was like trying to get familiar with Warren Beatty's game. He dated Madonna, share, all the stars. Oh, my God. And, come to chung. Bro, Warren Beatty passes by them at the golf course and he's just playing.
Starting point is 00:18:54 I hit it, I hit it out. Oh, my God. And Mari's pissed. He's upset. Now I know. Now it makes so much sense why he has, like, lie detector tests and you are the father you're not. Like, bro, he's just on one about it.
Starting point is 00:19:11 41 years. All trauma. Yes. Do you think he's lie detector tested her? Wow. That needs to be the next episode. He has to have. That would be viral.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Or Mady on. When she fails it, he. chases her to the back. Why would he do it like Detective? She wrote a book about it. True. She did it first. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:19:35 So, Marry. Yeah. I didn't know he was such a sim. Yeah. Man, she's so pimping over here. Yeah. She's like, hey, I'm writing this book.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Yeah, yeah. So what? And I'm going on your show and do promo. Oh. And you know what, Murray? You are the Simp. Simps! Simps!
Starting point is 00:19:54 That was perfect, girl. That was perfect. It is 717 this morning. I know it's hot out there. Please stay cool. Get into some AC if you can. I know sometimes that's harder to do than to say. Malls, libraries, they're all ready to help with the AC.
Starting point is 00:20:09 So, chill there. Make sure, make sure, make sure you're chill out here. And we're debating which one is more poppin Xbox or PlayStation. Like I said, it depends on what you want. Because they both got upped in price. Yes, yes. What do you mean, which you want? Which one is perfect?
Starting point is 00:20:24 it wasn't cold, bro. Can you just give it to me in terms that I can understand? Both are great. Both are great. Which one's LaBoooo? Which one's LaFu Fu Fu? LaBou? I'm gonna say PlayStation Sony.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Wow. Yes. Because the quality, like, they're ahead of its time. Okay. And then Xbox will catch up. You see? Oh, okay. A lot of, like, gamers are like, oh, I love Xbox.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Like, PlayStation isn't for real gamers because it has, like, other entertainment things. Like, you know. Oh, this is like iPhone, Android device. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Kind of like that.
Starting point is 00:20:53 You know, because you can like, I mean, at first, like, there was like a Blu-ray player on a PS4, so there was like, ooh, or PS3, I think. So it's like, oh, you can use that for more than just gaming. It's more of like an entertainment system. And Xbox is like, no, it's for real gamers, homie. Like, you know? Yeah. PlayStation's nice. Sony, the quality, like the graphics?
Starting point is 00:21:14 Yeah. It looks like real life. Okay, so then that would be the iPhone and then Xbox would be the Android. Yeah, it's Microsoft. Gotcha, got you, got you got to. Duh. Wow. Thank you guys.
Starting point is 00:21:24 That's all I needed. In Girl World, we understand now. All right, look, Mariah Carey. Mariah Carey. We have a brown bag morning's Mariah Carey experience that we want to give you two tickets to see her at an upcoming show. $500 shopping spree money just for you. Mariah Carey merch and the chance to meet Mariah Carey live in person. What?
Starting point is 00:21:49 All right. We'll be there too. You'll meet us too. You get me Mariah. We are doing this competition And we're in search for the biggest lamb Okay, the biggest Mariah Carey fan. That's caused her fandom.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Lamily, all of that. And we've been receiving them on our Instagram. Brownback Mornings 106 on Instagram DM us, a 30 second video on why you deserve this prize. I'm going to play a couple for you. Okay, first up to Bianca. She knew what to do by bringing her kid into it. you'll see at the end of the clip.
Starting point is 00:22:24 But check this up. I would love the chance for Mariah Carey to touch my body in a consensual and appropriate manner, of course. Also, because I am a new mommy, this would give me the opportunity for a night out and to meet an idol and someone who's iconic. Wow. She put her baby right in frame when she did. And I'm a new mom. A new port baby. Oh, that baby is so cute.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Don't fall for it, Lettie. Don't fall for it. Letty, stop for it. Oh. It's a manipulation tactic. We're going to talk about manipulation tactics and falling for things. Don't fall for it, let's go to the other submission we got. This is Cecilia.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Check this out. Help me meet Maria Carrie. Let my dreams come true. I need to sign my book. I need her to sign my buddy like she did to Rihanna. I got to go now. I got a flight. I'm not a real butterfly.
Starting point is 00:23:11 I'm a flight attendant and I take care of people every day. So take care of me. Help me meet my queen. Thank you. All right. All right. I want her to sign my book. I want her to sign my yitty.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Yeah. Yes. And she's stacking, not going to lie. Yeah. She was talking so fast because she has a lot on her chest, like she has to get out. She knew what she was doing because she was wearing like a bikini top. No, it's a butterfly top, Angie, because butterfly right here. Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Right here. Right here. Okay. Details. Yes. She also added an extra little thing. Oh, towards the day? In the message.
Starting point is 00:23:48 No, in the actual DM message. What did she say? Because you're like, this is insane. This is ridiculous. It's inappropriate. Yeah, she said, she said, maybe I'll even show you guys my boobs. Mm-hmm. I was appalled.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Yeah, like, Lettie, what's the goal, Ayn? Oh, my God. That's a great tactic. But if she wins, we don't want that, right? No. No. We definitely don't want that. Definitely don't want that.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Why would we want to see that? No, no. No, would not want that, okay? So these are two submissions that we've received on our Instagram, Brownback Mornings 106 on Instagram to compete for the chance to meet Mariah Carey, see her live in concert, $500 in shopping spree, and some Mariah Carey merch, bro. You're going to be in her rare air.
Starting point is 00:24:32 You're going to be in her aura. You're going to be in all of that. Should it be, Bianca? I would love the chance for Mariah Carey to touch my body in a consensual. Should it be Cecilia? Call me, Maria Carrey. Let my dreams come true. I need her to sign my book.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I need her to sign my book. Like she did to Rihanna. I got to go on her. Okay. All right. Or should it be you? Someone that hasn't submitted yet, you can log on still. Brownback Mornings 106 on Instagram and submit your reasoning why you should meet Mariah Carey
Starting point is 00:25:04 and win the Brown Bag Morning's Mariah Carey experience. Okay. We're going to announce a winner tomorrow. Wow. Tomorrow. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help.
Starting point is 00:25:16 We need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. The homie hookup line today, my friends. I love this song. Careless whisper. Can you whisper the homie hublin? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:32 DJ Greg C. You got to rub your hands. He's looking for love. All right. He DMed us and said, yep, brown bag, it's me. Your Tia's favorite DJ. Greg C. And I'm in need of a homie hookup line.
Starting point is 00:25:50 I've been single for a bit now and I'm ready to start dating again. my last relationship taught me a lot on how to be more confident and I really found my true self and what I wanted in a relationship I'm 29 years old no kids almost inches away from
Starting point is 00:26:14 six feet tall what? Almost six feet tall? Yeah. How tall are you? Five ten. Inches away. Inches away.
Starting point is 00:26:23 I guess they put them somewhere else. Ew. Oh, Craig. I'm so disgusted, dude. He said, tall and in shape. Compared to some of these dudes out here. He means y'all. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Wow. I said out here. I said out here. I'm going back to the year. I'm going back to the year tomorrow, man. He said, but it's hard looking for love. I've dated on and off. And the problem I'm having is none of these girls.
Starting point is 00:26:53 are meeting my expectations at all. He said, whenever I go on a date, these girls act too nice, and that's not what I want because of how boring it is. Yo. He said, the last date I went on with the girl, I brought up my ex just to make her a little jealous and see if she's actually crazy for me. And this girl was just like, okay with me talking about it. and didn't react how I wanted her to her. I wanted her to beat me with a stick. Are you serious?
Starting point is 00:27:28 Did he say that? No. But I know my friend. He thought it. Yeah, I know my friend. That's what he wanted. He wanted to get a cachetada. Wherever.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Wherever. He said, no one has matched my energy and it gives me the ick. Greg saying it's crazy. Yeah, that's crazy. Followed by, this big dog needs someone who, thinks they can handle this leash. Whoa. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:27:58 He said, can you guys help me find a girl who can match my energy, has French tip toe nails, can dress well and not look basic. And the biggest thing I want, the biggest thing I want, is to scratch my back. I get it. Wherever I want, whenever I want. Yeah. I get the backscratch. You guys barque or what?
Starting point is 00:28:22 Is this the jungle book? The backscrots? Oh, man. The back scratch is one of the most amazing things ever. Really? Okay. So you want a girl that meets your... You want a big dog?
Starting point is 00:28:34 Yeah. You want a big dog. You want a big dog. But that's also, like, kind enough to scratch your back. Yeah, yeah. Like, she's, like, scratching me, but, like, she has my neck right there. Uh-huh. And so it's like, it's a threat that her hands by my neck right there.
Starting point is 00:28:48 She could just... She could if she wanted to. She wanted to. But you're lucky she loves you. Yeah. Oh, God. He wants a girl to abuse him and baby him at the same time. No, just like ride that line.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know she could do it. That's so hot. And girls haven't been this. They've been too kind. They've been too healthy. They've understood, like, you just have past trauma. That doesn't show me that you care.
Starting point is 00:29:10 They don't raise his voice. Yeah, like, pull up on me. Pull me out of the club by my ear right now. That's what I want. That's the type of energy I need. You need to be put in line. Crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:20 It's like, oh, you think you're going out looking like that? Nah, change. Oh my God. Take off the SD hat. You need a sergeant. You're too sparkly right now, Greg. No, you're going out? No, you're staying home tonight.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I'm like, okay. Oh, my gosh. All right. We'll try to find that. I just, I don't know where she exists. But if there's a girl out there that thinks she can match Greg's energy, okay? He wants to be told what to do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:44 He wants to earn your love. If you've ever been told, like, you're a man eater or if you've been told that, Look at it. Look at it. No, you don't, man. You don't want to do that. Hold on. You've ever been told, like, are you like a dude?
Starting point is 00:29:59 Like, you just have no feelings. No, because of the feelings part. The feelings part. Yeah. Are you doing that? Hold on, hold on, hold on. That's not what I mean. You know what I mean.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Like, it's like, oh my God, you're heartless, right? If you've ever been called heartless by your exes. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Just like, that shows that you literally like, that shows that you're in love with me. Like, I want you to be like, no, this is mine right here. And she grabs me me like, they're going to call in and they're going to, they're going to like, berate you. You want that?
Starting point is 00:30:29 Be litter you. Good luck. Good luck. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. If you accept the challenge of Greg C. It's his birthday and he would like to go on a birthday date with you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:41 And these girls should also know how to cook. You know, he loves Dr. Pepper Barbecue chicken. Yo, he does. He loves that. He loves that. So that's another one. He wants you to make him cook. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:54 That's the girl he wants. You don't want the one. He had her. He had the girl that would massage him every day that would do whatever. And he's like, not too nice. Too nice. Too much. Too much goodness.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Should cry and stuff. Like, no. That, bro. Make me. What's up? And then she just slaps me right that in there. No, stop with the physical stuff. It's just so hot.
Starting point is 00:31:14 All right. That's a little wild. Hey, teach his own? Yep. When was your last date? Like a legit date? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Yeah. Now what your homie. That's not a date. That was a show. That was a date. That was a date. That was a date. Like an actual last date?
Starting point is 00:31:30 Yes. It's been a while. It's been a while. Yeah. Like an actual where like, oh, this is physically a date. And why did your last relationship end? This is what we asked the homie hook up blind people. She was kind of just too soft and just over it.
Starting point is 00:31:41 I was over it. Like, I was like, nah. And today's party is for Greg C. Who's turning 29. Yeah. Someone said your time is taking. Bro? Yeah, 30.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Count down a 30. Relax. Relax. Right on a corner. Not 30 yet, all right? He's 30. He's almost 30. Almost 30.
Starting point is 00:31:59 And very flirty. And he's looking for love. Trying to get dirty. Oh. Whoa. Talk about it, bro. Talk about what you're looking for in a girl or what you want. All of that.
Starting point is 00:32:09 I want somebody who is actually down to match my energy. Match my freak, too, if you're trying to do that. Okay. Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg. Help him out, please, guys. A lot. You're asking you a lot. I'm gonna call HR, bro.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Like, sometimes I feel like when I go on dates with girls, they don't care. I'm like, bro, get mad. Like, throw something in my face. But it's like, trip me or something. It's the first date. Trit me. Who cares?
Starting point is 00:32:34 Get jealous of something. If you're interested in me, get jealous. Like, at least get jealous of what I say. Like, I didn't like that. Like, that's so hot. I just want to come to you right now. Whoa. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:32:44 And it hasn't worked out in the past because girls have been too nice to you. Too nice. And you turn into the bad guy because they're nice to you. You're tired of being the bad guy. You want someone to be the bad girl. You need a Rihanna in your life. You need a... Didn't I tell you that? I was a savage. You need that. You want that. Oh my God. Stop! Do you ever...
Starting point is 00:33:04 Greg, do you ever flake on like the good girls and stuff like that? Yeah. Like I said, I'm just like, no, you're too nice. You're being too like... You're not getting my attention for me to be able to like go out with you. You get me? Like, it's like, why... It's not even worth my time. At all. So you'll, like, commit to it, and then you'll be like, you'll just back out last minute. I don't even tell him. I just ghost them.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Oh. Is that like a pattern or something? Isn't that just something you do? What do you mean? Ghost people? Well, I haven't found the one that's trying to, like, you know, be that. Like, you call me out on it. You ghosted me, right?
Starting point is 00:33:36 Oh, okay. Boom. All right. Well, I'm going to say you right now, Greg. Usually for birthdays, we're celebrating people. I'm scared. On yours. You just said to confront you about it?
Starting point is 00:33:48 Yeah, confirm you about it. We're not celebrating. We're confronting you today, okay? And you kind of did it to yourself because you said that you ghost people. Who is it? What? I don't know if you guys remember this, but on Monday, Greg told all of Los Angeles that his friend is about to have a very boring wedding.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Oh, yes. And it's going to be too much for him. He'd rather go to a charger game. Rather go to a charger game. No way. Turns out This friend of Greg's Didn't even know that Greg was declining
Starting point is 00:34:27 The invite He heard about it on the radio You were about to ghost one of your best friends On their wedding day And I told everybody in L.A. before And he's on the line What? Mario
Starting point is 00:34:43 Mario What up, brown bag? What up Mario? Mario! And I guess, happy birthday to DJ Greg. Thank you, Mario. Can you please tell us the story? You sent in your own message to us about how Greg sees ghosting you for your wedding.
Starting point is 00:35:03 And you're wondering, should you still be his friend? Oh, my God. So we sent out, first of all, he saw when I proposed, like, over two years ago. Yeah. Wow. So he knew about this way. longer before we even sent to save the dates. So we sent to save the dates back in October of 2024. Hope boy was all about it. Oh, I can't wait. Well, Haka's going to be a blast.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Sending me all his outfit ideas. I got no boots. I'm going to show up like this. Can I get a plus one? I might go with my cousin. I don't know. I was like, whatever. Like, it is what it is. It's, you know, when, when you're not part of the, I guess, the bigger group, it is kind of awkward, you know? So I was like, yeah, just getting my boy a plus one, whatever. We send out the, finally, the official invites, I think in February of this year. And Greg's like, okay, yeah, I'm an RSBT right now. I even joked around because the website isn't Spanish. And I was like, yo, if you need Angie's help, like, there or not. So he even sent me a screenshot where he's like, yo, my name doesn't pop up.
Starting point is 00:36:19 because we had, I think we had him under Gregio, and he had, like, he put like Greg. Right. And then we showed him how to fill it out. I thought it was weird that we didn't get, like, the email after. The confirmation. The confirmation. So since February, this Save the Date's been out, the website, our of everything. And you haven't seen Gregorio Condé has confirmed his plus one to a wedding.
Starting point is 00:36:43 It's a destination in Oaxaca, right? Yeah. And it seems. Yeah. Yeah. It's nothing. In the message you said that he's kind of been, like you've been hitting him up and he's going ghost. Like he's not really saying anything or he's giving you excuses.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Oh, yeah. So, I mean, he'll either like ghost me or like he won't answer or like, I'll ask him something. But like he'll send a random ad meme, sorry, a random meme. Changing the subject? Yeah, just changing completely changing the subject. And then finally my wife, because we're married civilly, she's like, I need to, I need to text them. and like no reply to my wife. No message.
Starting point is 00:37:19 You're really big in your hole now, bro. So let me read part of your message. Then you say he never officially told us he's not coming. Instead, he goes on air and tells all of L.A. that he's not going to the wedding. Meanwhile, he's out here buying chains. Like every week, he's got a new one. Bro's got more change than RSVP excuses.
Starting point is 00:37:39 He's going to Nobu, taking baby mamas on dates, basically living at the OC. and then has the audacity, audacity to say it's an expensive trip. And to top it off, he said on air, he'd rather go to the Broncos Chargers game. So Brownbag, should I even stay friends with him or should I let him in his 17 fake chains
Starting point is 00:38:02 keep each other company? Hey, I'm not going to lie to. He showed me a new chain he just got this morning. Not the max, man. Mario, is that all correct, Mario? Oh, my God. I'm not going to lie, I was, I was keeping his live earlier and I saw like just how
Starting point is 00:38:17 glowy his wrists were and then Loki kind of made me mad it was like two of those chains could have paid for the wedding. Greg, how these people love you Greg. This is love. Greg, this is love right here. He loves you and you're dissing him like that. I'm not dissing it. I'm not a diss. Okay, what is it then?
Starting point is 00:38:36 It's an expensive wedding that I can't go. Bro, it's not that expensive. I'm looking up flights right now. $200. The cheapest one is one 81 with one stop. Yeah, it's on Spirito. Yes. Volades. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Get on Volades, bro. You'll be strange. Same thing. Yeah. April, does your wife say anything about Greg? Like, how could he? This is your friend. My friends would never.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Well, no. Actually, she, I mean, she loves DJ Greg. At the end of the day, this is what it is. But I least, she was a little but her for a few weeks that she's like, Dan, not even like a, not even an answer, not even a thumbs up, not even a, I'll Or hey, I got sick for the 10th time this year. Like, nothing. Mono.
Starting point is 00:39:21 All right. Whoa, whoa, whoa. So there's the question. There's the homie help line. KPWR. We're not hooking you off with. You don't deserve it. No.
Starting point is 00:39:31 He's not the server ground right now. I thought I was getting hooked up. You can't even be a good friend. That's crazy. KBWR, HD1, Los Angeles, Power 106, L.A's number one for hip hop. Greg C's friend has hit us up. Oh, my God. Greg C ghosted him.
Starting point is 00:39:45 about the wedding that's coming up that he's known about for two years initially was like, yeah, I'm up for you. You know the person that's like all about the plans? Yeah. And then after it like just goes ghosts. That's what Greg's trying to do to their wedding. Then he's on air and that's how they find out he's not going. He's even slandering the wedding.
Starting point is 00:40:01 It's just too expensive. Yeah. I'd rather go to the Broncos, Chargers game. Who wants to go to Waxaca? I don't know why you said that. I didn't say that. I didn't say that. I didn't say that.
Starting point is 00:40:09 I didn't say that. 818 520-1059. Should Greg's homie dump him in the Pacific, to be specific, or should we all pay for Greg's trip as a birthday present? What? $200. Yeah, the hotels are, there's a hostel for like $24 for night. A hostel. A hostel?
Starting point is 00:40:36 A hostel. I see that movie. Is it that where you stay with other people? There's a $66 rooms a night. Mario's the homie, Vic. Yeah. Mario's, Greg. told me that Greg dissed ghosted. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:40:47 You did. You were there when he reposed to his girl. You were so excited about it two years ago. You said, yeah, bro, this is what I'm going to wear. And they even accommodated you when you said you wanted a plus one to the wedding that's in Oaxaca because you don't know everybody like that. Yeah. They accommodated you.
Starting point is 00:41:03 I even gave him a shout out here on the radio. For getting engaged. All of that. And now comes the time where now people are registering, R's repeeing, all of that. And your name seems to be lost from the website. right? I hate those people. If I send you a link, R-SVP, okay? Don't just tell me, yeah, you're going.
Starting point is 00:41:20 I didn't know how many goodiebacks to make. I have that 10 a person. Yes, okay? So you don't RSVP, and then so they're hitting you on text. Maybe he's just not doing it on the website. They make a group chat with your homie, Mario, his girl, and you. You ignore that group chat, but go on another group chat that Mario's in and send memes. Yeah, that's me.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Top it off. Guilty. They found out you're not going because you came on. air on Power 106 and you said yeah I'd rather go to a Chargers Broncos game that that wedding is going to be too expensive to go to it is it's expensive to go there he actually didn't say it about the game but now they know no now they know why oh he didn't know oh okay it's going to cost you more to go see those charges I was about to say the chargers the drinks can get pricey especially if you're on a good one you're going to spend more and you need a hotel in San Diego
Starting point is 00:42:11 and he will be he's good gonna be on a good one. You can just have that fun celebrating love. You're just the guy that like sees this and is like, ugh, I don't have it. Huh? I just,
Starting point is 00:42:22 I just, I just, you know, I can't even, okay. Should Greg pass up on the Chargers Parder, not Chargers Potters, Chargers Broncos game,
Starting point is 00:42:31 and actually keep his word to his friend and go to their wedding in Oaxaca. It's like a month away. So, yeah. Bro, you know if you sell those tickets, you can get like at least 50. 50 bucks.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Facts. And you only need 150 more for the tickets. If we're stacking up bread, anybody has a restaurant opening, a kinsenna, Greg, will do it for 50 bucks. The whole night. Four hours, 50 bucks.
Starting point is 00:42:59 He needs to stack that bread for the trip. I don't know about that one. I don't know about that one. Media taco spots or whatever you need. You know, so you that old J. Yes. Ashley, Ashley in Long Beach. Ashley, let's help out Mario.
Starting point is 00:43:12 He wants to know if he should. should still be Greg's friend after what Greg did to him these past couple weeks, ghosting him, past months, excuse me, and then saying on air that he would rather go watch the Chargers lose than go to his wedding. They're not going to lose. Well, good morning, Brown bag, but. Yeah, good morning. So I just think, shout out to Mario and his new bright to be.
Starting point is 00:43:36 Yeah, they do. You know, shout out to them and, you know, all the years of happiness and luck. But, yeah, I would not be his friend. It sounds like just Greg needs some therapy, bro. It's not that. Many people, he was talking about just a few minutes ago, talking about how, you know, girls that he talks to and whatnot,
Starting point is 00:43:57 he wants them to show a little bit more and be jealous. And he needs that love proven. But he got so many people who love him. And his friend even, like, hit up the homie help line to be like, hey, what should I do? His wife is over there upset, still trying to get him to go. You know, so, and that's his all kinds of love across the board, you know?
Starting point is 00:44:17 So it just sounds like he doesn't need some therapy to be able to accept some love, you know what he means? But if I was Mario, I would not. I wouldn't be his friend after the fact if he didn't show up to the wedding. Just because, yeah, that's craziness. Does Greg make you sick to your stomach? Does he make you feel like, ugh? You know what? He actually, he's actually really funny when I be listening to you guys.
Starting point is 00:44:40 So right now, I'm just a little disappointed. you great. Oh, you're disappointed in me, huh? Okay. Tell them more. Tell them more. I thought she was better. Oh, she thought you were better than this. You thought I was better than this? Well, you could teach me something.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Oh, sorry. You want to be my therapist? Look at it. Even being on homie helpline, the voice stays toxic. But you're laughing, Ashley. Why are you flirting? You want to be the plus one? I mean, Greg C.
Starting point is 00:45:14 I can make her laugh. I can make him clap. Craig. Do you hear yourself? Be respectful. You're 29 now. When are you going to grow up? Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:25 All right. Let's go to Chloe in the AIE. Aye. Chloe, our guy, Mario, hit us up. He happens to be DJ Greg C's friend. It's DJ Greg C's birthday. And perfect time to confront him about the issue at hand. He had told him, hey, I'm going to go to your wedding.
Starting point is 00:45:40 like save the date things came out he's never RSVP he's ignoring them he's ghosting them then goes on air on Power 106 and says hey I'm not going to it's too expensive I would rather go to this football game instead and buy hella chains fake or real there's just there's a lot of them and then say that I'm at no boo and say all of these things which I told you's going to come bite you in the butt I was actually there but Chloe but Chloe what would you tell his homie Mario stop laughing he's already smiling because you're laughing I'm going to make a laugh. So good morning, you guys.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Good morning. I'm going to say I listen to you show every morning. I was a little late to listen to the podcast today, but I did hear him talk about this expensive, like, wedding that he wasn't going to go a few weeks ago or so. I did hear that. I did hear that. I'm with a friend on this one.
Starting point is 00:46:31 First of all, congratulations to the bride and the groom. Yeah. By the way, it's my birthday, too. I told me happy birthday. Well, that's true. You know, it's fine. For God. The other friend, the other friend seems to be going more out of his way than, you know, Craig is doing.
Starting point is 00:46:46 The fact that he had to call you guys and call him out like that and that, you know, he's going out of his way and his and sending other means. A simple yes or no would have been okay. That's just a little selfish on his part. I think, honestly, I hear him all the time. He's super funny. He seems like a super cool guy. Oh, so make you laugh too. Oh.
Starting point is 00:47:04 I never date a person like that or have a friend like that. Have you tried? Especially that was my friend for years. Only because, so I'll tell you really fast, I was asked to be in a wedding, like, really last night, you know, and I was asked to be to step in and be a bridesmaid. And at the time, like, I'm a single mom, you know, and have four kids.
Starting point is 00:47:23 I worked a job. So I didn't have the money. I didn't have the money like that, you know, but I was like, you know what? Go back a little bit. Go back a little bit. Greg doesn't want to hear about your experience. He wants to hear. And I went to the wedding, you know,
Starting point is 00:47:34 because someone asked me and they cared enough to, like, be like, hey would you this and this and that that's someone going out of the way and asking me to be there for them I'm gonna be there for them and I feel like the homie calling and being like you know he's kind of hurt and that's kind of selfish of Greg like tell Greg off right now without cursing tell Greg off that's what he wants to hear like go sell one of your cadenas to the salt main or like you know go get some money go work for that hour's right for your plane ticket
Starting point is 00:48:02 I'll let her to single mom that's it like she said and whatever she said I was like single mom what's up Like, for kids. I did it. As a single mom, you could do it. He wants to do you as a single mom. He wants to do you as a single mom. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Why are you getting shy all of a sudden, huh? This is going crazy. I'm going crazy. All right. Greg, you're a POS. You're a piece of friend. We've all agreed. This man loves you.
Starting point is 00:48:34 He does. Yeah, that's my good, like, one of my best homies. Maybe he should have the wedding here at the Masonic Temple in North Hollywood, right? Yeah. Closer to you. Yeah, closer to here in the studio. It's his day and he's making it about you.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Yeah. That's how much he loves you. That's crazy. You guys are making me feel that. As you should. Good. Okay, Julie. Julie in Long Beach.
Starting point is 00:48:55 Julie, it's Greg C's birthday, Julie. His friend is calling to confront him about ghosting him on whether or not he's going to the wedding but going on air and then saying, yeah, I'm not going. That's too expensive. That's not me. Meanwhile, his diamonds are dancing on his Instagram stories. His cubic zirconias are dancing.
Starting point is 00:49:14 I would rather say. But his friend's like, bro, he has as many chains as he has excuses to not RSVP to my wedding. What should I do? Should I keep this friend or should I let him just frolic out here in the city of Woody here through Santa Ana and surrounding areas? Yeah. And we're in O.C. Being a toxic dog. What would you say, Julie?
Starting point is 00:49:33 Would not invite Greg to any more parties. Isn't Greg the one? that the other day he had a little birthday party, I think, with his goddaughter. Yeah, yeah, he's not going to that either. He didn't go either. Yeah. Yeah. He didn't go.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Mm-hmm. I feel like he's a very, he's a cheap steak. How do you say, cheap skate? Cheap steak. Cheap steak? That too. That's true. He's all of it.
Starting point is 00:50:00 How is he going to find a girlfriend earlier he's on here trying to find, you know, somebody who, you know, is on his same level, get, you know, understand his vibe. And that's not you. How is he going to find a girl like that? If he's a cheesecake, you know, he cares about himself. You know, he is surrounded around a lot of people that love him. But honestly, he needs a little cacci-tada. Oh.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Are you willing to give it to him? What's that? A slap. Are you willing to give it to him? I like that. Oh, no, no, no, Charlie. Chale. Chale.
Starting point is 00:50:34 I was still trying to figure out if Greg is a cheap steak or a cheesecake. Yeah, I was like, she's all of it. He's a Philly cheese steak. He's a cheesecake. He's a cheesecake. Greg, you know what's wild when we did, like, hey, call up and, like, berate Greg because he likes it. No one was calling it now. All the girls are calling to do it.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Like, yes, please. Yaseña, Yaseña in Hollywood. What do you got to say to Greg, bro? Gerses. Yonseya. Yaseña? Yes, he. Hello?
Starting point is 00:51:08 Hi. Yeah, hello. Go ahead, Yaseña. Yeah, yeah. Hi, good morning, Brownback. Love you guys. Love you. Love you.
Starting point is 00:51:13 I do want to say that the friend Mario needs to drop him. He's not being a good friend. Like, he's been putting in the work, the other guy, to, like, come on, like, come to my wedding, and he's still, like, rejecting him and, like, pushing him off, and that's not okay. It's Greg's love language. Because do you see how far Mario's going to reach Greg and talk to me? He wants that.
Starting point is 00:51:37 That's what I want in my relationship. He called his job. Yeah. He needs to go to Dr. Phil or he needs therapy. Like the other girl said, like, what I need is you. He needs to stop buying chains and buy therapy. Why are you hating on my chains so much, dog? It's because there's a lot of them.
Starting point is 00:51:58 I guess it's the contradiction that you're spending hell of bread, but you're talking about how you wouldn't spend bread for your friend. That's why it's like your diamonds are dancing in your videos. yet you're saying another trip is too expensive. Which one is it? But it's like the Chargers game. That's Chargers versus Broncos. It's good seats too.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Or do you feel like this relationship is not going to go anywhere? With my friendship? Yeah. One of my great friends. No, I'm saying, do you feel like he's getting married for no reason? Oh, no, no, no. I don't know. I don't even like her, bro.
Starting point is 00:52:34 No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm talking about it. Are you sure? That is not how I feel at all. Like, why are you going to get married? Like, why am I going to go if he's not going to be that feeling for a year? They've been together forever. Diverse.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Forever. Yeah? Yeah, it's like a long time. Oh, they should never get married. I get jealous of their love. They shouldn't have been married. All right, let's go to John in Whittier. John.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Good morning, John. Good morning, Brown Bay. Do you recognize that voice at all? Yeah. Greg, who is that? My brother. Hi, John. John, we're talking about the big ghoster over here,
Starting point is 00:53:05 a big, full of excuses. I'm about to tell him. I'm about that. I'll drop them. because I'm about to make it worse. Okay. All right. To recap everybody before we go to John, Greg's brother.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Mario hit us up on Greg's birthday to say, hey, you know what Greg did to me the other day on there? Really hurt me, so let's get him back. Greg went on air and said, I'm not going to a certain friend's wedding. I haven't told them yet. I did an RSVP. It's too expensive.
Starting point is 00:53:32 It's not happening, right? And that friend is like, bro, we've been hitting him up. We've been texting him. We've been trying to figure out if he's going to go or not. He's said yes. a couple years ago. Now he's just silent. Seems to be a pattern, though,
Starting point is 00:53:46 because we have Greg's brother, John on the line. John, talk to us, bro. What happened? What happened with your brother? My brother is super cheap. We all know, we all know, Michael. He's a friend of ours as well. We all knew about the wedding, you know,
Starting point is 00:54:04 but my brother's closer to him. So, he's super cheap because he even had my parents pay for his power. passport. He got his passport for this trip. What? He wasn't going to pay for the room because one of our cousins is going as well. Hold on. What did you say, room? I'm sorry. Can you hear me? Yeah, he wasn't going to pay for the what, the room? He wasn't even going to pay for the room because when our cousins is going as well. And he wasn't going to spawn him for the room. And Greg's not even paying for the Bronco game. My parents always pay for his ticket.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Oh my God. God, girl. What's happening? Is he scamming everyone? My brother is the biggest scammer ever. His mixes are even true mix as well. We are thinking it's maximal. I knew it wasn't just me. It was under our nose the whole time.
Starting point is 00:54:54 No wonder me and Greg get it along. John, so what do you have to say to your brother, Greg, who's listening on his 29th birthday? Stop being cheap, bro. You have a job. You have a job. You can afford it. You don't pay any bills.
Starting point is 00:55:07 You're good to go. Question, because you don't. live in the house. You don't live in, you don't live in Greg's house, okay? You live outside. You pay your own bills and all of that. Do you go out in the house and just see how mantanido Greg is that he has his own room? He says he don't like people in his living room too much. He don't like when kids are there. Like he barely likes the dogs, but it's not, he pays no bills. He doesn't pay no bills. You know, me and my older brother. We moved out at 18. He's still there. He's still there.
Starting point is 00:55:39 Greg, He's actually in my old dream He still has some of my stuff there He's the one that has the stars on the ceiling Oh, you put the stars on the ceiling He's just a 29-year-old kid, man You're a 20-year ironerer's old kid, man You could have took those off
Starting point is 00:55:54 But you're even too lazy to do that Oh my God No, it's all love I like my single my little brother But he is cheap Nah, that's right Are they chains real or not? They're real!
Starting point is 00:56:13 You can touch them. They're real enough. They're not make believe. Oh, cute. They're not make believe. Greg. I'm living life. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:56:21 The guy just lives life at 29 years old now, you know? Wow. I'm not going to lie. He found a cheek old life. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to move in with my mom. Greg, go to the dang wedding.
Starting point is 00:56:33 It's expensive. No, it's not. No, you're not cheap. I'm going to be out there for, like, a couple of a dang wedding. days and it's going to be expensive. Go to the wedding. Start paying your mom. Go to your niece.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Get by her a present. Do something. Stop saying things are cheap. Then come on the radio and talk about taking girls to Nobu. It doesn't make sense, Greg. It doesn't make sense. He doesn't pay for No one. What does he do for that?
Starting point is 00:56:55 The girls pay for it, for sure. How old are they? Are you taking 60-year-olds to Nobu? No. I'm not a girl pay. Oh, my God. That's the best experience in my life. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:07 All right. Well, happy birthday, Greg. Happy birthday, Greg. Thank you. Thank you. It's rolling with the homies. All right, homies, if you've seen or if you've been to the movie theater recently, at least these past couple years, everything's going on with these buckets, the popcorn buckets, right?
Starting point is 00:57:23 Yeah. They go on sale. They go on sale. People start collecting them. They go on resale. There's some big ones, right? Which ones do you remember? I think I saw a really cool one when it was Jurassic Park.

Well, the Annabal movies coming on in theaters as well. So do we know what that means? A popcorn bucket for the Annabelle movies. I know.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Scary movie. So think about it. The Annabal Doll is going to be the bucket, right? Yeah. But where they put the popcorn part where you open it up is at her booty. Yeah. Yeah. That's a weird placement.
Starting point is 00:58:26 You got to look at it. Brownback Mornings 106 on Instagram. She's wearing a full white dress, but the white dress kind of opens up in the back. Weird. Yes. And that's where the popcorn comes out of. It's wild. It's kind of wild.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Like, you're thinking about it, you're putting your hand in there. Yeah. It's face the other way. You're putting your hand. Yep, you're putting your hand. Yeah, no, it's really weird. She's not a puppet, but you're putting your hand. She will be.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Down there. It's a wrong type of doll to mess with. Super, super. So I was like, you know what? I'm going to take the Annabelle. Like, I just want to get into the Annabelle mood right now. I listen to the theme song, right? Scary.

Starting point is 01:15:05 Big of my right. One day she's going to come in here. You guys are not to explain all of your little jokes to her. I love her. I know you do. Angie, what's going on in the cheese? Dude, okay, we got to talk about Tom Brady because this fool actually made this girl blush from a compliment she gave her, like, right out like in a Zoom interview or something like that, right? right up in front of like two other men
Starting point is 01:15:26 Tom Brady's getting interviewed and then she's he actually compliment her. Yeah, they were on a Zoom. It was a few people. There was a young lady there and here goes Tom Brady. Morgan, I love your hair.
Starting point is 01:15:37 Thank you. It's a lot to deal with you. Beautiful. When it's a good day, it's a good day. Today's a lot to be. A girl. Where are you at? I'm in Philly.
Starting point is 01:15:45 Ooh. Oh. Out of girl. Where are you at? Is that a great to do it? Morgan, I love your hair. Thank you. It's a lot to deal with.
Starting point is 01:15:53 When it's a good day, it's a good day. Today's a lot to be. How are you at? Smooth. You guys, that's an 80-yard pass down the field. That's a spiral. That is. Yeah, that's a sideline.
Starting point is 01:16:08 He's at the one-yard line. Could it be that he was just doing small talk? No. He's about to score another touchdown. Yeah. Like nothing. Yeah. I get nothing.
Starting point is 01:16:17 Yeah. No, I get the compliment. Go ahead. But like the fact that he actually is like, where are you at? Yeah. It's that part. Could it just be that you're on Zoom? You don't know where people are.
Starting point is 01:16:27 So it's like, oh, yeah, the only thing that I would say is there's other, there's dudes there. Yeah. They're just watching. What's going on? Whoa. The golden action. Yeah, they're writing down votes. Is he going to ask me where I'm at?
Starting point is 01:16:39 No. That's insane. Nice hair. Where are you at? Like, that's very forward. Ain't anything but a flight. Waste no time. By the way, where is Tom Brady right now?
Starting point is 01:16:49 Retired. No, like, where is he? Coaching the Raiders. I don't know Part owner of the Raiders Yeah Part of the West Coast He's going to practice
Starting point is 01:16:58 And all that Or he's in Philly too Because Morgan I love your hair Thank you It's a lot to deal with When it's a good day It's a good day
Starting point is 01:17:05 Today's a lot to name Other girl Where are you at? He's in it with the Riz lab It's the END It's the END And what's crazy is that She's the one that
Starting point is 01:17:15 Posted it But then when it got a lot of attention She took a gym Oh she posted it? Yeah No way That means she fumbled the goat. She fumbled Tom Brady.
Starting point is 01:17:24 She probably posted it for her friends and then it just got. People noticed like, no, this is Tom Brady. Yeah. Like, this is viral, right? Yeah. And now she may feel bad for it. Whatever the interview was for, however it was for it, might have been a meeting, might have been a job thing.
Starting point is 01:17:41 Now she's like, oh my God, yeah. I could have had Tom Brady. I'm going to try that. You're going to compliment a girl's hair? Where you at? No, don't do that. No, no, no, no. Because he chuckled and he flirted it and all that stuff.
Starting point is 01:17:51 What else is going on? Okay, but we do got to talk about Cap Joe, you guys. Cap Joe? Yes, apparently he lies a lot, okay? One of the things that he recently lied about was having, like, a couple of songs recorded to the point where he actually almost had an album with Biggie. I'm calling Cap, if there was a real legitimate album, I would have heard about that. And I wouldn't have heard about them doing songs together.
Starting point is 01:18:18 I call Cap on Fat Joe. Show me the receipts, Fat Joe. These are Biggie's friends that are saying that's not real. Yeah. So Biggie's business partner, Lance Un Rivera, he actually came out and called him
Starting point is 01:18:29 Liar Fool. And that's when he's like, hey, show me the receipts. I would have known. But it's like, Fat Joe tends to do that a lot. Really? Because he, yeah,
Starting point is 01:18:38 apparently like the guys were telling me that he lied so much that they made videos of him lying and lying and lying. Yeah. I once robbed my whole gym. Like, yo, everybody, give me your coats.
Starting point is 01:18:49 Give me your walkmans. Give me your this. Some of the kids I was actually cool with. I couldn't even carry it. Some of the guys that robbed had to help me carry this stuff. Oh, my God. I said, yo, who sits in them tables? Homeboy looked at me shook because a lot of guys are, they're not really real.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Some up in there. He does that. I go down to the table. Guys sitting there. I'm like, you my man, get up. He don't want to get up. I say, you're my man. You got to get the fuck up.
Starting point is 01:19:15 He got up and he left. So I took the table. I drink too many diet pets, 30, 40 a day. I bail out Justin Bieber. Wait. Dude, it just got me thinking. I'm like, did he really bail out Justin Bieber? Maybe that's also a lie.
Starting point is 01:19:29 Because no, Justin Bieber hasn't come out and said like, oh, for real. And so now he has to do things with receipts, I bet, because he's the boy who cried woof. He has to. Yeah, he acknowledges it now. He's like, oh, like, you guys are going to say this is cat, but it's really not. Like, the other day, he was in the middle of telling a story. And he was like, it was a hundred. Oh, wait, no, it was 10 guys.
Starting point is 01:19:50 Like, he had to. Because he knows he embellishes. He's a great storyteller. He is. Maybe that is him embellishing for a story's sake. If I have a song with Biggie, let alone an album, I'm releasing it, dog. I'm getting this bread. Not just talking about it decades later, I feel you.
Starting point is 01:20:08 He does say that he lies in his music. I've been rapping professionally for 30 years. I've lied in almost 95% of my song. I write like I feel that day. I'm just being creative. So can we blame him? Well, that's normal. I feel like that's part of the game.
Starting point is 01:20:24 I did that. Yeah. When you're in Puerto Rican? No, I lied about shooting people in my music and everything. It was all cap. He should have known. There's no way Fadjo could really lean back without falling. That's true.
Starting point is 01:20:40 Should have known. Look at us. Why do we trust it? Somebody should have showed him what love is. He knew about it. He knew about it. No, but what's crazy is that even like this big album that he's talking about, the collab album is that he's saying that
Starting point is 01:20:52 like in this album he has some this tracks towards Tupac. That again never released. I actually just saw it. It's actually coming out of December. The album? Yeah. But okay. No, I'm lying to.
Starting point is 01:21:08 Yeah. I'm like, dude, what's the point of doing that now? And then you could have, you had all these years to really record it. The big duets. Facts. Coming out. Never worry. 31st. He should have went on that. I remember around the time that. Biggie and Park were beefing.
Starting point is 01:21:23 There's a story that Fat Joe created this song and just didn't do it to say. It was the, oh, it's so hard. I can't release it. You know what you mean? Hold me back. Hold me back. I went too crazy. I would have started a whole world war.
Starting point is 01:21:35 All right. Well, now we know. Yeah, it's Cap Joe. Cap Joe. Yeah. I was trying. I was trying. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:21:42 Did it sound like a vampire? World war. World war. And you all. Yombe put him right of the scientists? No, yeah. Y'all may put him right the scientist? A war, war.
Starting point is 01:21:57 He looked around too, look. Anybody? Anybody? No. No, I caught it. Next story, please. Matter of fact, you have the next story. What's coming up, bro?
Starting point is 01:22:05 What's coming up? Look, Drake opened his warehouse on Amazon and is selling things on there. Like a Drake body pillow for $100? $50. Pooper Scooper? Yes. A Drake face mask, shirts, posters, magnets, and more. It's like a collab he's doing with Amazon.
Starting point is 01:22:20 It's like a virtual warehouse. It's actually pretty cool. Really tight. I can't hate on it. The webpage looks so good. Yeah, you could like look around and then kind of click on things and like, oh, this is in a box here. This is a hat here. This is a poster here.
Starting point is 01:22:31 And it's like all decorated virtually. It's pretty cool. I need that poop or scooper. Why? I don't know why. I saw it. It's cool because it just says like October's, I think drink on it. It says for all the dogs.
Starting point is 01:22:42 For all the dogs. For all the dogs. For all the dogs. For all the dogs. They have the bags for the poop. Yeah. It's the little dog cartoon that was in his album. them for all the dogs. It is an incredibly creative thing. I love it. I'm surprised more people have
Starting point is 01:22:56 not done collabs like this. It was really, really, really, really cool. But just like Drake, you do something really cool and then something else really, really cringe to just level things out. Because bro, this thing, yeah, what's going on with that? Yeah, so he dropped a video on his Instagram with like a lot of subliminal penile and like phallic symbols, right? So there's a graphic that just says like, it's like, it's a cool video like, oh, boy. whoa, whoa, whoa, this is amazing, right? Him on stage, all this cool stuff. Then it just has a graphic randomly says, stay cocky.
Starting point is 01:23:27 And then all of a sudden it says testosterone. And then all of a sudden it has a Cialis graphic. And for those who don't know, Cialis is an erectile dysfunction drug. So it's like to get you hard when you have trouble, getting hard. What on earth is he doing? It makes, like, it doesn't make sense with like what the context of the video is. He's just like throwing those things in there. The visual and we'll get it later type of maybe like Easter eggs in this.
Starting point is 01:23:50 piece and again the Amazon thing so cool so clever then what are you doing being creepy Drake yeah trying to get us all hard yeah I'm down they like Drake honey packs or something Drake Viagra who's calling my phone dude no there there's a market yeah there's a market I'm buying a pooper scooper and Viagra at the same time oh don't ask what I'm gonna do with it it's just really it maybe the body pillow it's just really maybe the body Never mind. That's it. You went, Greg.
Starting point is 01:24:22 You went, Greg. Who's Caled his phone? Right. Oh, hell. He's... The... Once he gets the pillow and he's going to start... Back in his...
Starting point is 01:24:31 Sprague. Sprout bag.
