The more brown bag, the better. Come on.
Live from Las Vegas, it's Brownbag mornings.
Yeah, baby.
We are here in Las Vegas for Canelo versus Crawford, live only on Netflix.
Okay, it's going down Saturday, September 13.
Saturday, September 13.
That's this weekend.
We're here for it.
We're inside radio room.
we're in the fountain blue
it feels like a vibe
Maximo's doing spirit fingers it's all good
Spirit fingers
Spirit fingers they're jabs
Oh these are jabs
We're going to be broadcasting live
All morning long and just before we get into the show
I would like to take this moment
To recognize and not lose sight
Of what day today is
It is 9-11
A day of remembrance for those
Lost September 11th of 2001
When two hijacked planes crashed
into the two World Trade Center towers in New York City.
Another one in the Pentagon and another one in a field in Pennsylvania believed to have
been headed to Washington.
Sometimes we look at, we think of 9-11, we think of the two towers, but forget the Pentagon.
The field in Pennsylvania and all of those are lives lost.
And today is a tough one, especially with what happened yesterday.
When a prominent conservative political activist, Charlie Kirk, who's 31 years old,
was at a speaking event at Utah Valley University
and was shot in the naked seams
from all of the videos that are circulating
and ended up passing away from his injuries.
You know, these videos are everywhere.
Yeah, they are.
They're not even centered, which is crazy to me,
and I know that people are uploading from different angles.
It's a big event.
People love recording this guy, you know?
That's the gist of...
Everybody has a phone, everybody has social media.
You're posting the video.
But also, like, people know to record Charlie Kirk specifically at his events.
You know, like, for what he has to say and all of that.
Yeah, stuff like that.
Yes, the interactions that he has with people that go up and kind of debate him on things.
So these videos are different angles from everywhere.
And it's sick to see.
I think you can't be a human and not look at that, like, oh, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
And I'm wondering, you know, like, specifically when it comes to social media,
platforms and the things that they say should be censored why a video like that is still up yeah that's
a lot to think yeah there's other things that are censored for less I know that's true and there's
kids on the app too as well yeah it's it's really like an I watched it pretty much involuntarily to
be honest I did not know who Charlie Kirk was until yesterday until everything happened so I watch
I was like oh Charlie Charlie Kirk was shot and I'm like who like you know and he doesn't necessarily ring a bell to
much into, but then you, you see the face for me and I'm like, oh, okay, I get who this guy is.
And then so I see it and I'm like, wait, what? Like, you got shot in front of all these people.
And then that's when, you know, my kind of antennas are like, this is uncomfortable.
No matter who gets, gets shot. I mean, it's, it's an assassination, you know, essentially, right?
Like that style. And, you know, it's like, who done it, who, who did, letting your mind starts going.
And you're like, what's going on in this country? Like, you know, obviously Trump was, was, you know,
shot at a couple was maybe over like a year ago now and so you're just like what is going on yeah you know
and and you know you just start to think historically and you're just like this is always uncomfortable
you know to have in this country yeah imagine the people that are sitting there watching this is right
trauma and then you see and then you hear a gunshot you don't even know where it's coming from so you see
people scatter like you just start seeing people scattered getting trampled i mean that that that is
like super untemps people hold on to that terror for life oh for sure trauma and that trauma isn't just
specific to this event.
It's every day of America.
You asked what happened to America.
No, bro.
Every day.
You know, just yesterday, too, there was another school shooting.
Yes.
Yeah.
Like, again, those kids are also going through that same trauma.
It's just trauma everywhere.
Absolutely.
But yes, the video, I just trip out on that.
And like, we told Angie, Angie, don't look at it.
Yeah.
It's not for you.
Yeah.
And honestly, I did not see the video.
I haven't seen it.
Like, it's not even on my algorithm right now.
Good.
Good.
Good.
Stay on the Cheezum algorithm.
It's crazy people think like, you know, oh man, like what's going on in our world today?
Assassination has been happening since Lincoln.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's just that now you see it more because it's in your face.
It's in your face.
It's right.
Everybody has a phone.
Everybody wants to shoot it.
Just like yesterday, we were at the workout.
Everybody had their phone out.
Nobody's living in the moment.
It's everybody's recording.
Everybody's shooting.
Posting.
Yeah.
So it's like when things like that happened like yesterday with with Kirk, it's like, dude, the videos were just.
They're everywhere.
Insane.
Yeah.
Insane.
But you know, it's what like, Maximil mention.
There are.
censorship things like I know on X like there's certain things that get removed you know I don't
certain celebrities can get videos and photos removed and I'm like where is that team here because not
only again and it's so unfortunate for the people there and then just the shock waves that it sends
just hearing the news yeah but we shouldn't be able to see that we know what happens with those
flags that people have to flag those videos right yeah and I think yesterday what happened
It was that it happened so fast and so many people were posting it,
you know, the app didn't have the time to like source all the videos and start shutting everything down.
Usually it like blurs it.
It'll blur it and say you.
That should happen.
Yeah.
Like it asks you if you want to watch the video.
Sometimes.
I just think it was too fast.
I just think it was too fast, you know?
It's weird though because it almost seems like we're supposed to see it.
Like we're being fed all these different angles and stuff like that because I will say, you know, in the midst of all the,
the ice raids and stuff like that happened happening there was a lot of plain graphics no any type of
graphic nature that were being blurred out and it's saying yeah this is being censored and I'm like
why is this being censored? Playing graphics you mean like a poster or information literally but it was
being blurred because yeah without someone having done like that oh here's this and here's what exactly
so it's like okay there was time to censor that which had no graphic content at all but now we're
seeing you know 10 different angles of of this and it's supposed almost like it's supposed to
us feel something. Of course, anybody that has, you know, a post is going to feel something about it, right?
So it's just interesting to like, okay, this is censored, this is not, this is not.
And granted, at this point, with the magnitude of who this person was and who his peers were.
And, you know, like you said, our president, Trump is, their good friends is a supporter of Trump.
Yeah.
That could make the call.
That could be like, hey, to these sites like Elon and.
Yeah.
And Zuckerberg.
in Zuckerberg, who was just at my crib, you know, having dinner, like, make sure this doesn't get out.
Or even, like, low-key, not for nothing, but when 9-11 happened, planes flying out, ground, all of them, right?
What would that be in nowadays for social media?
How do you ground?
Like, hey, if all of a sudden Instagram stops working because of the crazy time it is, that would maybe understandable right now.
Yeah.
I think what happens to social media is that a lot of these apps are privately owned.
They're not government-owned, so it's like they don't have no jurisdiction in that matter.
Unless they, unless, you know, again, the government gets involved with that.
And they tab, though.
Because, like, again, like, Zuckerberg was literally at this house.
And Elon was his homie.
Like, there could be those calls.
Like, they got them in their, in their phone.
Like, hey, shut it down, bro.
But then it's kind of against their own interest because the point of these apps,
like an Instagram is engagement.
So there's been the most engagement.
I've seen that everywhere.
I couldn't avoid it yesterday pretty much unless I got offline.
Yeah.
So, you know, it's like, oh, okay, why would I take out this cash cow for
myself. Yeah. And everybody was posting on their stories. Everybody, like, there was no avoiding it at all.
Now, here's the other part of this whole story is that they still haven't found the person that did this to
Charlie Kirk. We're talking about the conservative political activist who was fatally shot at Utah Valley
University yesterday during a big event, a big debate event, I'm sure that was happening and people were
there for it. They do say that there's going to be a press conference today at 9 a.m. Eastern 7 a.m.
time so that's 6 a.m. our time. Also it should be happening within the moment.
With the FBI saying I guess what information they know what they're looking for, who they're
looking for, there were a couple people detained. There was videos.
Older man. That was older man at first. Yeah. And even like I saw a rifle in one of the detained
videos and stuff like that. The first gentleman actually got charged with obstruction of justice.
Probably got in the way then, right? That's what obstruction of judgment. Yeah. So then being able to
get these people detain them, question them, and have to release them, you know, now we don't know
who did this, why they did this and all of that. We can only assume and I guess moreover on just like
the whole scheme of things, what today means, what happened yesterday, I would like to remind you
listening in us in the room and like Maximo reminded me yesterday, do not lose your humanity.
Whatever this is, whoever this is, however this is, don't lose your own personal humanity,
your own connection with your faith or your spirit or with people around you.
These times are meant to do that.
Yes.
You know, these times are meant to do that.
So I would just, again, remind you, just do not lose your humanity and love your people, man.
Yeah.
All right.
So thank you for having that tough talk.
We're going to try our best to get through it because we are here in Las Vegas and we are
here for you and to have like a breath of fresh air from all of the, all of the,
the stuff that can be weighing you down.
We got the weather with concrete.
You ready, brother?
I'm ready. Let's go. Let's do this.
Let's go. Let's go.
And now, the weather.
Oh, hell my dog.
With concrete storm.
Peri-doz that is going down today, the weather for Thursday, September 11th.
First, we, first, first, first.
Come.
All right.
That's all right.
That's all right.
It's first.
First, we're off to the city.
Wadahara home of Canelo.
Wait, what's why?
Wadalajara?
Why?
You're even tell us the weather?
We're in Vegas. We're here for Canelo and Crawford, guys.
Let's go on, Lahara.
We're here for Canelo and Crawford, so get it right.
So you're going to tell Canelo what his weather is.
Back home.
Yeah, I'm going to tell all the people listening across the nations right now.
They're listening to us.
Across the countries and galaxies.
Okay.
Like I said, guys, first we're off.
Okay.
First we're off.
to the city of Walaajara,
home to Canelo and Tertas Hogadas.
Your hat will be 80 degrees today.
Next we pull up to...
Say it in Spanish, please.
Yeah, they don't get it.
Oh, 80 degrees.
Next, we pull up to the city of Omaha.
Sounds more boring.
Why Omaha now?
Because that's where Cropford's from.
That's where Cropords from.
Look at that guy.
Boring.
No.
No.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Proper to do that.
I'm going to say it.
Next we pull up to the city of Omaha.
Sounds more boring than a granola bar.
Oh my.
Hey, those are fighting words.
I'll fight that.
I'll fight that food.
Don't know.
Do not.
You wouldn't let that food knock you out for 30 mil?
No, fight him.
No.
I actually put up a fight.
If I see him today, he pulls up today.
I'll sock that one.
No.
He's like,
Bro.
Roundback, homie.
No.
Hold on.
We're actually going to see this person.
Yes.
We are?
Yes.
We're in radio.
We're in Las Vegas.
Scratch that, scratch that.
Hey, it's going to be 86 and Omaha.
Boring.
Next, we throw the dice all the way to the city of Las Vegas,
and I ain't going home till they pay us.
I'm all in right now, big dog.
Man, we had a tough time yesterday.
We had a tough time last night.
Oh, man, we were losing big.
Y'all went out?
Yeah.
No, we didn't go out.
We stayed in.
Yeah.
Because we lost.
That was the best thing we could have done.
Because in Las Vegas is going to be 89.
today,
I know that's not bad.
And lastly,
we head back to the home
to the city of Los Angeles.
Scandalous, vandalis.
What part?
They can handle this.
I know you use that bar.
I know you use that bar.
Every rapper in the L.A. has used that bar.
Go.
Do it again.
Do it in the clear.
City of Los Angeles.
Scandalous.
Vandalous, you can handle it.
This guy.
What's the weather there?
Your high is going to be 80 degrees
today, Los Angeles.
And taking it back to,
I told you,
it's going to be a creepy.
next couple months, guys.
The Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles,
the most notorious haunted
hotel, L.A., where I wish
that we could broadcast. You're so obsessed with it.
And made, known for suicides,
murders, mysterious deaths,
including... And also known for smokers
and prosties. Yeah, the best part.
No.
I know that. Infamous residents,
Richard Ramirez a night stalker.
Jack Underweds,
both serial killers stay there.
Current status now rebranded.
So go ahead over there, guys.
It's completely different.
The name is like the stay or something.
Continental breakfast.
Three from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
You would never know.
Making continental breakfast.
You get it in the trunk.
I once dropped off a homie there, an unsuspecting New Yorker.
He had a room there.
And he's like, hey, can you drop me off at my hotel?
And I was like, yeah, sure, bro.
Drop them off.
Sure enough, he stayed at the Cecil Hotel.
I didn't have the heart to tell him.
I know.
Oh, Victor.
That's nasty.
Because they changed the name.
There's another one.
There's another one.
But we'll move on.
September 11th, guys.
Well, how are you going to be 80 degrees out there in GDL?
Omaha, Boring, 86.
Oh, my God.
Las Vegas.
City of Winners.
You're going to be 80.
No, stop line.
Hold on.
Tell him after he runs through the.
Las Vegas, 89.
And Los Angeles Scandal and vandalis.
Sound like devourer.
You're going to be 80 degrees.
Dair.
Oh.
See the world through my third eye.
No, he don't have.
But for context for Vegas, Vic invested $200 in a machine.
Invested?
For Greg to win $15.
To win $15.
So he put $200 into a slot machine, right?
You can't take it out?
No, he lost it.
No, I put it in the penny slots.
Okay.
Right?
And so there's this thing where it's like you get the jackpot once you get enough little
rockets.
Who won?
Who won?
Who really won?
Yes, really?
Wait.
So I'm playing.
I'm playing.
And I'm getting close.
And I'm like, oh, if I just hit this, everything is going to come.
I'm going to get the jackpot.
I was like too far deep to quit.
Right?
And I'm like, over $100 in.
I'm just like, nah, I need to do it.
I need to do it.
You kept going, kept going.
Kept going.
And eventually I gave up, I'm like, that's it.
You know what?
I just need to tap out.
Yeah.
Greg sits in my, no, Maximo sits in my seat first.
Same thing happens to him.
I feel better about myself.
He lost $40?
Yeah.
Greg sits down with $20 and he won a whopping $10.
$10.
Yeah.
It took us a total of maybe like $300.
You went $10.
Yeah.
A win to win.
Yeah.
No boo on me tonight.
But what are you saying?
Did you win?
Oh, I won.
What did you win?
I put in 20 and I came up with 80, remember you guys?
I don't know about you losers, but I'm winning in Las Vegas.
He's got the money, okay?
That means break up.
Money, move.
All right, y'all.
We are live from Las Vegas.
Shout out to Netflix.
Canelo versus Crawford.
Shout out to Read season.
We're broadcasting live today and tomorrow.
Of course, Frecanello versus Crawford, all right?
But come next year, it might be you versus your job when it comes to the World Cup.
All right.
Yesterday, the FIFA tickets went live.
Everybody in here was in the little waiting room.
We were.
Not me.
I love watching it at home.
I don't know why you guys want to go to that dumb thing.
What?
Are you serious?
To be live at the world?
Hell no.
What are you talking about?
Hell no.
Once in a lifetime experience.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's the World Cup.
No, I'm not paying for that.
I like to be at home and comfort, you know, where I can.
All right.
Well, everybody but Vic.
Everybody but Vic was checking the site yesterday.
The FIFA site with your FIFA ID.
Did anybody get tickets in here?
Nobody.
No.
Yeah, mine's still loading.
You're still in the waiting to be let in?
I've kept crashing.
Well, look, if you do happen to score some tickets and you want to be able to even just watch it,
maybe from home, it doesn't have to be that you're there at the
the stadium.
Come next week.
I mean, come next year, that's a couple weeks.
It's the World Cup.
Yeah.
What are you going to do at your job?
A lot of these stuff, like usually they would happen early in the morning.
They're different times of the day.
Yeah.
Definitely we're doing work hours.
Well, there is a hack, y'all.
There is a hack.
Oh, what is it?
What is it?
Okay.
Apparently, if you get your partner pregnant this week, okay, you can get two weeks
paternity for the next World Cup.
All right.
What?
And you only have to buy one ticket.
You're so dumb.
Why?
Because you leave your girl at home.
She has a baby.
You're annoying.
You're so dumb.
You're annoying.
You can get a babysitter.
No.
Yes.
The baby's too little.
What if your girl's a soccer fan?
She can watch it at home.
Like big?
Is it really?
Is it really worth it though?
Like a kid for the rest of your life versus one ticket?
For the World Cup?
For the once in a lifetime experience?
Well, I'm just saying this is a hack.
Like if you already expecting what your girl are like you want to plan
parenthood?
Oh.
then just know there is a hack that's going viral online
Like if you were to get pregnant this week
If you're trying to plan that
You might have like your maternity leave
Your paternity leave around when the World Cup is going to be in next year
But what if that damn baby is crying while Mexico is playing?
It will be crying.
Yeah
I'll be at the game
Yeah
No
Put some key sweat on this weekend
Yeah
Well how would you watch the World Cup
We've all been hired
like we've been employed before, the World Cup previous years when you've, it's been during work hours.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, I think this year, I'm not exactly sure.
Not this year, past years.
Yeah, in the past, you would have to wake up in the middle of the night, depending where it was.
Middle of the night or morning.
Yeah.
I feel like this time around, it might benefit us to be on our time.
Be on our time.
But that's how my question.
My question is, how would you guys do it when you worked previously?
Oh, I would miss out.
Like, I would try to watch it on my phone, but then like I had to work.
You're at Macy's like, oh, yeah.
No, no, no.
Like my last job.
like my last office job like that's how I would have it on my phone but then I would have to
clients will come in and say no freedom oh yeah I was watching like my friends on social
media like posting stuff and I'm like oh here I am actually working yeah people unemployed
people at bars like a yeah yeah oh my god that was people the Irish pub yes I was people I was that
people last last time that it was happening oh for sure you were you weren't do you have a gig at the
time? No. I haven't had a
clocking gig.
Since right here right now. 17 years.
That's my first time I had to wake up at
5 a.m. He's on the time clock, all of that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And you love it.
The growth. I am so ecstatic to wake up
the norm morning. I know. I see it in your eyes.
All right. Well, there you go. Like, if you're trying to figure out
how to make do with the World Cup, not call out, or not
just be present, even be there, you could have a kid maybe.
Yeah, don't pull out.
All right.
Yeah.
All right.
Leave it in.
That's how it works.
It's how it works.
Pull out to stay in.
Yeah.
Cute.
Simp or Pimp.
B-I-M-B.
Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip.
All right.
Today's nominee, September 11th, Simp.
Is it Simp of Offset?
Oh.
What's going down, bro?
Our homie.
My twin.
Bro to a brown bag.
Yeah.
Offset.
Also, Divor.
Orsay or divorcee.
Divorcied.
Yeah.
So Alsaid was recently asked, he was caught outside the airport and he was asked about Cardi B's music coming out and if he was going to support it.
Listen.
For sure, it's hard.
She's going to do a big one too.
Aww.
So he said he's for sure going to be out there supporting her music.
She got a big one.
Not like that.
It's like a big project.
Yeah, it's her big one.
Like you did your big one.
This is going to be great for you.
This is it.
So the project is called M. My,
of the drama. It's meant to come out this year. And yeah, I mean, as a divorcee to support your
ex-wife, even though they've had their ups and downs, you know, they've kind of subbed each other
in music. I think they're on a down right now, which is great for him. When he came into
Power 106 and talked to us about his project and stuff like that, he kind of was like, look,
I come to the thing like, I just want peace. If I'm the bad guy in your situation, let me be
the bad guy and all of that. But I've also seen interviews with Cardi and
where she's like, sometimes I just really feel like, I hate this guy.
Like, I hate him.
Like, the things we're going through the stuff.
And she said something crazy that, as I have never heard, and he's like, the person you marry is not the person you divorce.
Like, you get two different people.
The person you marry and the person you divorce two different people.
So you can't expect the person you divorce to be like the person that you marry, even though in flesh, same human.
Yeah.
It's just the personality you're getting, the agitation, maybe the tension.
It does seem like they're going, they have gone through a lot of back and forth.
The last I heard from her, she's like, I think God, I hate him.
Yeah.
It seems like their feelings are mutual.
Like, he's kind of like, hey, can we just relax?
Can we not fight?
And she's like, I hate you, bro.
Like, it's interesting.
But at the same time, it seems like he does do the things to get him to fight.
Because Tampocco is bien, peaceful man.
Yeah, yeah.
Like he said, I.
to all be the bad guy, but he's also been the bad guy, y'all.
Like, he's, my guy has also been,
and who you effing, and blah, blah, blah.
He had that crash out favors, you know.
He's also been that.
Seems like he's temporarily over it.
Yeah, and as someone who knows how, like,
I know how to get my girl mad, like,
what pushes her buttons and herker, when you split,
like, you want to do that 10 times.
A hundred times.
Yeah.
Like, I'm going to get on your nerves today.
I can't wait, you know.
Y'all do that?
Yeah.
No, we don't do that.
We always want to keep our woman happy, right?
Maximo?
Yeah.
I'm right there with you, Greg.
Do you know what gets your girl, Matt?
Yeah.
Do you do it on purpose to get her mad?
I'm not on purpose.
I don't do it on purpose.
But you still do it?
Unintentionally.
But is it super pimp of offset to support his ex-like?
I'm going to say pimp because somebody that, who dated a social media influencer and I like,
I watch her stuff sometimes.
I'm like, good for you.
Oh, you are somebody?
I am somebody.
Okay.
So you're saying like you dated a social...
I dated somebody that wants to be like social media influence or style.
I want to be like all like huge on platforms.
Uh-huh.
And I'm like, yeah, that's cool.
But you probably still hate me.
So I'm still the bad guy in her eyes.
But I'm like, good job.
You're not going to be like me.
Really?
That's like...
I've never heard of you.
I'm proud of you.
I'm proud of you.
So you're saying you stock your eggs.
No, no, no, no.
So then how do you see it?
Because it just pops up on my stuff.
Yeah.
Now you're blocked.
You're black.
So it doesn't pop up all your stuff.
He uses a brink.
brown bag page.
Stop bringing away my secrets.
All right, no, this is Pimp for an entirely different reason.
Why?
Because the richer and more successful she is, the more money he gets the pocket for himself.
He doesn't have to spend the extra money.
They have kids together.
Like, it's like...
Does he get money from her?
No, but it's like, okay, if your girl's a gazillionaire,
she don't need you?
You got to come out of pocket less.
Yeah, you could spend more on clothes, shoes, everything that you want to do.
Okay.
They share a child together.
Is he paying?
Multiple children together, yeah.
That's why I think it's pimped.
I don't know.
He has other baby moms too.
Yeah, that's why he gets to pocket more.
I don't know.
I'm trying to get your algebra equation, but I'm not too sure that I get it.
Okay, if you're ex-os of a gazillionaire, you're not going to have to come out of pocket as much.
Don't worry, I've said, I got it.
I just stand there.
I don't know.
I don't like that much because it's like even though I'm a gazillionaire, put in for your kid.
I think it's, I think it's pimp because I know that him saying that is going to
get her mad.
So he's like, I won this one.
Because now she just looks like she's like,
I hate him. He's like, I just want peace.
I'm just like, we shut up beds.
Meanwhile, like doing some stuff maybe in the background,
you know, I mean, he's a sad.
I know it.
I know really well.
Okay, he's just plotting and thinking.
That was a really good answer, though.
If he's not trying to start drama,
that was a good answer.
I support her and all of that.
Like, she's going to do her big one.
I love it.
But watch he had just like been
an A-hole during,
like custody switch.
And like during like when the kids had to go to him and she's like, what you mean?
No.
Opset.
Who should be to my?
To a big one.
Offset is not the drama.
Yeah.
Am I the drama?
It's Carty's.
He's Pimp for that.
Yeah, he's Pimp.
Y'all say he's Pimp.
Yeah.
I can neither confirm nor deny.
Just like him.
All right.
You want to do your Pimp, Pimp, parade?
Pimp, hooray.
Pimp, so, so enthusiastic.
Yeah.
You need a homie or need some help?
We need your help.
We need a.
line, I mean phone line, we got you for the homie helpline.
All right.
Our guy Fernie.
Fernie, Fernie, Fernie, Fernie.
I hate that I read this before.
I get to read it to Los Angeles because I'm already judging your brother.
To the world.
Yeah, to the world.
To the world.
In Wadalajara like we did the weather, right?
GDL.
We're in Vegas.
GDL.
Everybody out there in Pakistan was out.
Yes.
All right.
So our guy Fernie, our guy Fernie hit us up.
Fernie's in the situation and he is stuck.
All right.
He says he's 30 years old and it feels like it's time for him to really lock in.
He just does not know who to lock in with, all right?
He was previously with his ex-girlfriend for two years.
He says, I really love her.
But she has a child.
Sheesh.
Here's what he said about why he decided to take a break from their relationship.
Check this out.
My ex-girlfriend, who I dated for two and a half years before taking a break,
I told her it was for me to find out if I was going to be okay with part of her daughter's life.
Oh, gosh.
Is this gangland?
Yeah, I was about to say.
He had a special request.
Sounds like he has a rag around his face in the dark.
So here's the thing, my friends.
I'm tired of people not calling in for the homey help lines, right?
And men just being anonymous.
And I'm like, look, bro, I will gang land up, anonymous up your voice.
But you need to talk to Los Angeles about what you're doing.
doing, okay? He just told us behind a dark curtain and a shadow, no lights.
It's a smiley. Yes. I thrive off negativity. Yeah. He just told us him and his ex
girlfriend broke up because he told her, I need a break. I need to figure out if I could be a part
of your daughter's life. Jesus. All right. It's responsibility. Keeps going, though.
I wasn't sure how that would be and if I was ready for that. During that break, while at work,
I happen to meet the new person.
The more time I spent with her, the more I actually ended up having more feelings for her.
Oh, gosh.
Wow.
So he takes a break from his two-year relationship.
The kid been there, those two years.
Yeah, just growing.
Probably, like, getting into school and like, like, yeah, hallmarked moments and, like, milestones.
You know, you know, just there.
It's birthday.
And saying in him, like, you know, I just need to know that I'm ready.
So let's take a break.
Which can be responsible, right?
Maybe it is, right?
He's mature now.
If you're not ready, you're not ready.
You're not sitting there like,
the kid's all right, I guess.
Kids cool.
I'm not ready to commit, though.
I know someone like that.
Who?
Why are you looking right at me for?
Oh, God.
Jesus.
Oh, yeah.
Well, we'll get to a good thing.
He took his break, and during his break, as he mentioned,
there was someone at work.
And he really likes her.
Truth be told, his sister,
also hit us up and said, I really like her.
I personally do not like the first girl.
Yeah, and her kid.
The new girl got a fatty or what?
The new girl got a fatty.
Well, according to him, during the break, I met a new girl at work.
She surprised me.
I didn't know I would fall for her.
We were just co-workers, but she's got her stuff together.
She looks hella good, and I love being around her.
Mm.
Mm-hmm.
Yes.
That feeling.
Get that fuzzy feeling.
It tingles a little?
Yeah, it tingles?
Really? That's HR tapping your shoulder.
However, there is an issue here.
If you were to go that way, just at the co-worker and maybe leave the mom and her stepdaughter to the dust.
Okay, to find another guy to step up.
This is the issue.
She's Jewish.
I do not have the same upbringing as that or the same ideology or religion.
Like the question is whether it'll work out in the future as far as family or.
or family lifestyle.
Yeah.
They happen to be different religions.
That really affects him because his family is very faithful.
Yeah.
Well, not him so much in that sense.
Yeah.
But, you know, they're very into their faith.
And has said, like, even my mom's kind of stepped up and said,
hey, that's a little tough for me, you know.
This new girl at his gig is a little bit older.
He says at first I didn't mind the idea.
of having different religions because she's cool.
Yeah.
But the more we talked, the more stressed it got to, it got me.
I'm not the most religious.
My parents are.
When I asked my mom about it, she said, this is only temptation and that I have to resist because
of the different religions, especially since the new girl expects our future kids to grow up
in the Jewish culture, which I have very little knowledge of.
We asked how long they've been talking.
Like, what's the time frame here?
You know, we do know that.
He was with the previous girl for two years.
He says the split's been about a year.
So in this year time, he's met the new girl at work.
I felt that fuzzy feeling, Vic.
Stingly.
Yeah, a little tingly.
And then the coworker who happens to be older is also mentioning kids, right?
But I'm wondering, like, if you're not ready for a step kid, are you ready for a real kid?
Like, not a real kid, but, excuse me, you are.
Yeah.
But like, your own.
Your own.
Yeah.
I think it's a little different if it's like your own, your own.
Yeah.
But once you're just your step kid, that's your kid, bro.
Like, that's my baby.
You know, that's my bonus.
But if he should go back because he really loves the first girl.
Yeah.
Just wanted a break to realize, hey, is this for me?
Can I step up as a dad?
Is it a sign that maybe I should go towards this new girl?
Because I met her.
I met her in that year.
She happens to be another religion.
My mom says, yes, it is a sign.
It's a sign to go back.
Classic mom
Because she's not our religion
That you go
With Griselda
Yes
What are your thoughts
Brown bag
Could this girl be a sign
To move on
Or is it a sign to go back
To my ex
What do we tell
This guy is in a spin cycle
He does it
He's like
Is it a sign for here
It's time for that
It's a sign
It is a sign
It looks yellow
What sign is it
I mean
I don't know
I feel like
The fact that he's not
Ready to be a stepdad
should be enough proof.
Like he's chilling.
Like, does he not miss that kid?
That's enough of like a thing.
He does. That's so messed up.
Yeah.
He's never mentioned once that like, oh, I miss the kid.
Yeah.
Or the kid.
Yeah, no, I know.
Yeah.
So I'm just like, damn.
And then now he's like, oh, this new girl.
I mean, it's always that like grass is, you know, it always seems greener.
Yeah.
So there's that thing, you know.
But also this girl's like, bro, I need a kid tomorrow.
I'm 38.
Yeah.
You know what I'm older.
I'm older.
My clock's again.
And by the way, this is how our kids.
is going to be raised.
Everybody wants him to like just be a dad.
Like the universe is there's a sign, a strong sign like, be a dad.
Be a dad.
That's the sign.
He's looking at every.
So which one though?
It's like if he parked in LA, is this a 3 p.m.
and 6 p.m. parking and is there like a trash pickup on Thursdays or whatever.
Okay.
So I guess Greg, you're the one that Loki has the most experience with this.
Like clearly like I have an older son in Hornhead to date me, but he locked in it.
You know, Vic is locked in.
But like with you, you've dated someone that has a kid and not met the kid.
Two kids.
But you didn't meet them.
At all.
How long did you guys date?
About a year.
And he didn't want to meet them.
I don't want to meet the kids.
I'm not their dad.
I have no reason to meet the kids.
You're so loud and you're telling all of Las Vegas about your.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
If they get to know, they get to know.
But I didn't want to meet them because I was like, these aren't my kids.
I don't have to deal with them.
I'm dating your mom.
Not you.
Oh my gosh, Sarato.
I have no idea why I didn't work out with you.
Yeah.
Well, the thing is that she stood on business and she was like, look, these are my kids.
These are my little babies.
I'm not going to get you attached to them.
We were barely dating for a year.
You get me?
That's a long time for you.
Only a year.
For you not to meet the kids.
And my one point, I was like, damn, I really just can't go anywhere with her because she has kids.
Like, that was a big thing for me.
Like, right, like, if I were to leave right now to Chicago.
You couldn't take her with you.
She needs a babysitter.
Straight cup of noodle family.
Instant.
Instant.
You didn't want that.
Two minutes.
No, no, I didn't.
No, like, I just,
Dad.
Yeah.
That's what bothers.
Dad, Greg.
But I guess in.
Father Greg.
Father Greg.
Father Greg.
I was showing you that new girl, what, like a couple weeks ago?
Hey, don't, don't put me in your men.
I love you, Ruth.
Papa Greg.
I was showing you that new girl.
She doesn't have no kids.
She's a perfect girl, but like, there's just something about it.
I'm like, mm, like, it doesn't hit the same.
Okay, it's you.
Oh, no.
Oh, my God.
Greg, the step kids are a blessing.
They are.
They are.
And see, I guess, you know, one year isn't a long time,
but it is if you're a parent.
Yeah.
Well, no, if you're a parent,
yeah.
And you have, like if you have your child and you're dating.
Yeah, yeah.
A year is a long time because you kind of have to have that mentality of,
is this serious or not?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're not really given the luxury of like, oh, yeah, I can just fling around.
And maybe if I do fling around a couple months here, a couple months there, whatever.
Yeah.
But if I'm locked in with someone for a year, I then have to ask myself, like, okay,
is this person going to be a part of our lives?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I didn't want to meet them.
Okay, all right, Greg.
All right.
Greg is like,
And that's okay.
And that's okay.
And that's okay.
And that's okay.
If you're not ready for your,
you're not ready for it.
Yeah.
That's okay to feel like that.
Yeah.
Yeah,
because I feel like there is people that date to date.
Like they're not really like dating there thinking like I'm going to be here for the rest of my life.
They're dating to see where it leads.
I get you.
And then I feel like if that's the route you're going,
then maybe keeping your kid away is like the way to protect yourself and your family.
But not for the year.
After the year, you're like, I'm not really dating this guy just to date.
This is my legit committed boyfriend, right?
I would say a year is like a committed boyfriend and then also like.
Yeah.
But if the boyfriend doesn't have a relationship with the kid and there's no, there's nothing there
then at the same time.
You see, dad, there's nothing there.
Yeah, but you're still parent.
You can't force it.
No, bro, you're a parent at one point.
You got to be like, all right, is this good for the family situation?
Yeah.
Because at the same time, we all have wanted needs, but then it's like, okay, we're still family.
Yeah, so what we do.
Just still has her kid.
Yeah, exactly.
Like, what is it.
I know what I'm saying, but I'm saying if he's dating and he doesn't have a relationship with the kid, he just doesn't have a relation with the kid.
How is that going to work?
Yeah, maybe it shouldn't work.
And at some point, it's not going to work.
It's not.
It's not.
Yeah.
I always told myself, like, it's okay to feel like that.
If she didn't have kids, I'd be married to her right now.
That was a deal breaker.
Yeah, and that's, and that's true.
That's true.
It's being brutally honest.
You know, she's perfect, but those two things, oh, they just ruin it.
There's a dumb with extra attachment.
Just like, Kim, there's women.
that don't date unless a man makes $100,000.
Yeah.
And that's fine.
That's true.
Yeah.
And it's shallow to some degree.
Yeah, it is.
Because love should be just love, right?
Yeah.
But it's the same thing.
You don't want to date women with kids, just like women don't want to date some guy that just works.
Some women.
Some women.
Some women.
Some men.
Some men.
Some women also won't date men with kids.
That's something they say.
That's what I'm saying.
But he dated the woman with kids.
I totally understand that's the barrier, the standard.
This fool still did it.
I try to look past it, that's why.
I'm trying to look past the kids.
This is not about you?
This is about Bernie.
Yeah, good by Bernie.
You're giving me PTSD right now.
He needs to know if it's his turny, turny, turny to be a stepdad.
His ex that he's been on a break with for about a year after being with her for two years.
You know, in that time, you know, she had a little rug rat running around.
He didn't care.
He's like, all right.
I'm dating you, not the kids.
Yeah, what's the kid's name again?
It has a birthday, right?
Wait, that party was for the kids?
Yes.
He said, I need to take a break to figure out if this is really for me.
You know, before I step into this child's life, I got to figure it out.
So took a step back.
And in that meantime, met her out work.
Does all the right things, knows all the right things, everything.
Yeah.
But she's a different religion.
She happens to be Jewish
He happens to be
I'm assuming Christian
Or not just not Jewish
He didn't say what is it
This is now
But he's like all right
Is this a sign that I should move on
I did find somebody else
During the year off break that I had
And he says
You know the the mom is waiting for me
Yeah
That's a wild wait
Yeah
You know
She's she's waiting for me
To see if I could
If I figured it out or not
All right
She's not like Nelly
When Nelly's ex gave him
The break
And then he just got
With a shantium
and just dip into the sunset, right?
Wait right here.
I'm going to go meet Ashanti.
I'll be right back.
She's like, okay.
All right.
All right.
So he goes, he meets this girl.
She happens to be of a different religion,
talks to his mom about it.
They're really religious.
And his mom is like, hey, it is a sign.
It's a sign to stay away, miho,
because the different religions, they don't match up.
It's not going to work.
Yep.
He was fine because he's like,
I'm not as religious as my parents.
I can see like the mashup.
It's Monday.
Monday mashup.
The DJ now, huh?
Go to talk to Homegirl, though.
She is older, and she also wants a kid.
And their kid, together, will grow up with her customs.
Yeah.
And so he's like, oh, yeah, my mom's not going to like this.
Is this a sign to move on from the ex?
Ex-girl.
Is this a sign to move away from the new girl that's a different religion?
What sign is this?
He wants to know.
What sign is this?
All right.
And we got college down in line.
Let's go to Jackie in Santa Ana.
What's up, Jackie?
Hi, Jackie.
Hi, Jackie.
Hi, Jackie.
Hi, Jackie.
Hi, good morning.
Good morning.
Jackie, talk to us.
What would you tell Fernie?
Just one and keep away from that relationship.
Run, run, run as fast as you can.
Which one?
I know.
Yeah.
Both of them.
Oh, both of them.
Be alone.
Be alone.
Yes, of course.
First of all, you know,
I don't think he should take a part of being a stepdad.
I don't think any guy should.
What?
You got to explain that.
Hold on, yeah.
Vivek is a stepdad.
My husband is a stepdad.
So hold up.
I mean, and I understand, but if you put it in perspective, like, you know,
no one should take that role because, you know, if you pretend I'm a single mom.
And I start dating someone else.
I wouldn't want somebody to be a stepdad.
I would want someone as my partner, but my son has a dad.
So that should always be clear.
Because, yes, you are a stepdad.
If you provide and you like the kid and you give them gifts,
but at the moment you try to say, no, don't do that.
No, I don't like that attitude.
No, you're not a dad.
You're a stepdad.
You're not supposed to do that.
You know what I mean?
Very fine line, though.
You know Jesus had a stepdad?
What?
She did, Joseph.
Yeah.
In the Bible.
He's the first man that's set in.
He never gets a credit he deserved.
Exactly.
I think that is the life of being a step-parent is that you do a lot of the work and not credit.
And you do it in the name of loving that child, understanding the mixed relationship that there might be.
You know, they say blended families and stuff like that.
So all of it comes with its wins and its losses, you know, like the sacrifices of it.
But ultimately it is like, hey, do I want to be a part of this person, this kid's life, this,
woman's life or man's life and build this family.
Look at my boy Russell Wilson.
Incredible stepfather.
Look at my boy, V.
Look at my boy Vig.
Look at me.
Why is back to my life?
So you have to, okay, but you know, you don't have to base on like look on this, look
on that, you know what I mean?
It's just society has been placed in putting men to play a part that they shouldn't be.
If you can run from a relationship like that, run.
and have your own family.
And if it fails at a certain point,
remember that you have,
you have to take care of your kids.
Remember that someone else can be their stepdad.
Thank you so much for calling it.
I get, that's her, that's her stance on things.
That's her long.
That's her sense on things.
Anti-stepdad.
Yeah, she was brainwashed.
No one should be a stepdad, a step-parent,
because, hey, you can't discipline them.
Yeah.
How are you supposed to beat them?
I guess.
What?
She did not say that.
You did that moment you say, no, don't do that.
You didn't do that.
And there are times.
Are there are moments?
I think it goes case by case.
In the perfect world,
well, in the perfect world, everyone would work out,
but if two partners didn't work out,
they have a kid together,
their following partners maybe could get along
and it could be like a good thing.
Sometimes one partner is not in the mix.
Sometimes dad's not there, mom's not there,
sometimes it's a lot of tension and all of that.
All of that is definitely stuff to take into account
if you're the single person with no kid coming into it.
But if you're up for the challenge and you care about these people,
you should.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Greg won't.
Vic isn't a prime example of making it work, you know?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I won't step up and do that.
Flexing on them.
Stepping up.
That's a very wild view.
Shout out, Jackie, though.
I'm not mad at it.
I respect it.
I respect it.
I respect it.
Yeah, that's how they do it in Santa Ana.
I can't even defend that.
Let's go to all me, Sam in Boal Heights.
What's up, Sam?
Sam, on 9-5.
I guess what Sam?
Hey, Willo v.
Buenos Diaz.
All right, Sam, let me recap you real quick.
Our guy Fernie hit his ups.
He told us how his ex-girlfriend and him,
They took a break.
His ex-girlfriend has a kid, and he just needed to step away to figure out whether he should step up as being in that kid's life.
You know?
In that time, that year time, he and his co-worker got close.
His co-worker is great.
Older woman does the right things.
However, she is of a different religion, and that's getting in the way of, like, I guess going forward because she wants kids too.
And his mom is telling him, like, no, don't do it.
It's going to be too crazy with the clash of religions.
The new girl herself is saying,
okay, if we have a baby, which I want because I'm older,
they're going to grow up my way.
Everything got to be kosher.
My way of the highway.
And so he's wondering, is this a sign to move on from my ex?
Is the sign to move towards my ex?
What is this a sign of?
Sam, what would you tell our guy Fernie?
I think the homie,
Fernie needs to go to therapy to find a relationship with himself first.
This dude.
Okay.
How is he going to, like, if you don't already know you want to be in the kid's life, right, specifically talking about the first relationship, if you don't already know the answer, then that's the answer in itself. Like, the answer is no. Like, if you have to question it and do all this, like, you know, soul searching, then the answer is already no. You know what, like, what is he going to do? Is he going to choose the first relationship with the kid? And then, like, three, four months in, they get into a big fight and he's, well, I should have chose the Jewish lady, you know? Like, come on. Like, what are you talking about? You know? Like, what are you talking about?
So leave them out of it.
Leave them out of his your take.
He needs to not even,
he needs to get out of any and all relationships
and go to therapy or if he ain't with that,
then find the local brouca in the neighborhood
and pass an egg around his head or do a limpa.
What?
Yeah, I don't believe in therapy.
Thank you so much, Sam.
Olympia secure everything.
No, I like Sam's viewpoint.
It makes a lot of sense because I was even thinking,
Like, okay, he's like, yo, I just need to find myself, right?
That's what Bernie said.
Yeah.
It's like, you find yourself in your coworker?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, what did that really do?
What did this time off do?
It's been a year, so I don't know.
Yeah?
But like, what does that do?
And this is like a thing and I'll admit as men like, yo, I just need to take a step back.
And it's like, I need to explore other options.
I need to hit the club, man.
Like, I just need to find myself.
Like, it's like, what are we really doing?
meditating or.
No, we're not.
All right.
All right.
Okay.
W.R.
F.M.
HD1, Los Angeles, Power 106,
LA's number one for hip-hop,
Brownback mornings. We're broadcasting live from Las Vegas,
and we're dealing with the drama back home with Bernie.
All right. Frannie took us right into his situation, right?
He's between his ex that has a kid,
and he stepped away specifically because she had a kid,
and he had to figure out if he can step up to be a dad in that relationship.
He previously was with her for two years,
or if he should get with the girl that he found during his break,
his off time, at work,
she's a great lady she's an older lady also wants kids and happens to be of a different religion and so he's like okay i know i'm gonna step from one i guess
from one novella into another novella right like one thing that could be something some challenge to this thing
that could be the challenge all right he wants to know what sign should he look at the sign of going back to his
ex or the sign of going towards the the new lady okay we got callie from lakewood on the line callie
Kelly.
What up, what up, what up.
Y'all in Vegas, bet on black.
Let's do it.
We're betting on Canelo.
Are you ready?
Hey, I'm with Canelo.
Hey, I mess with him heavy.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I hope he win.
It is my birthday weekend.
So I'm going to go watch that fight.
Let's get it popping.
Let's go.
My birthday.
Look, look, my dude, Fern, that's Fernando, right?
You can't have a nickname with this type of.
what you call it, look, you, you stepped in as a stepfather role, and then you took a break.
So that's over with it.
You can't take a break from stepping in a kid's life.
That's crazy work.
You shouldn't even call it in saying anything like that.
But to sit there and give up part of how you were raised for a relationship, that's the religion thing.
You can't do that.
That's being unequally yoked.
It's never going to work.
You're going to give up your Christmas.
like if he's Hispanic he's probably Catholic so there's no more Christmas the day before
which I'm jealous because I'm black.
True.
But you get eight days of holiday.
I thought it was 10.
Oh, I think no.
Yeah, eight days of their holiday that he's not even used to.
So it's just like, who are you?
Do you not want to be a dad or do you not want to be a Catholic?
Do you not like how you were raised?
Because everything that he's talking about is crazy work.
You sound like his mom right now.
Yeah.
No.
No, it's just true because I've been through it.
Like, my girl, half her family's Jehovah Witness.
You know how hard it is to do anything?
I want to do a barbecue on the fourth.
No, that's celebrating something.
Oh, it's my birthday.
We don't do that.
Oh, we're going to do this.
And then I see them all at a party for a graduation.
I'm all like, hold on.
I thought you don't celebrate.
Oh, no, this is different.
You get what I'm saying?
Yeah.
100%.
So he got to go ahead and stay with his faith.
You can't go back to the other relationship because you already walked out on it.
You gave it a year break after.
being with it in two years? What's that kid saying? Where's Fernanda? Like, you know, that's
really good. So he needs to just go ahead and hit a hard reset and start over. You don't
hop through religions like you hop through girls. You go ahead and stay with one that you want to
make one. That's it. That's great advice. Let's go, Kelly. It's good advice. It's good advice
for someone that's with someone with another. Yeah. Hey, I get crucified every time the last
time I called my girl's son, um, um, um, son, alien. Uh, I got a call that day. I'm like,
Hold on.
Wait, what?
What?
Remember I said the baby look like a hate, like I did.
Oh, yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Like Kelly.
Have a good thing.
We don't want you in trouble.
Gali, enjoy your birthday weekend.
Yeah.
If you can.
Oh, my God.
If you're allowed to.
If you're allowed as a new Jehovah's witness.
All right.
So I guess it's like the hard reset, like the blowing on the.
Yeah, blowing on the cartridge.
Yeah.
Start over single?
Yeah.
Single player mode.
Single player mode.
Villain mode.
Villain mode.
Yeah.
He doesn't know what he wants.
Y'all, Sam told him to go to therapy.
We just skip by that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He needs to know if he wants to be a father in the first place.
He seems unsure about that all together.
Yeah.
It seems like, I know, but that's still like a decision.
It's like, do I even want to be a dad?
Because it seems like the new girl is pushing for that, not him.
You know what I'm saying?
Both the girls are.
pushing for him to be a dad.
Exactly.
Maybe that's the sign.
Maybe that's not his thing.
That's not his religion.
Some guys weren't born to be dads.
Yeah.
Me.
I'll say right here on the radio, Gregory Konde from Whittier does not want to be a father.
Proudly.
I almost got, I told you guys.
Gregory Kondee from Whittier needs to have sit down talk with his dad.
I'm right here.
I almost, I just skipped.
You should.
Yeah, my mom must do it.
I don't think you can do it unless like.
I'm not about Dekwana or something.
do it.
I think you have to fill out like a psych about it.
You're going to meet that one girl, dog.
Yes.
That's going to lock it in.
And you're going to leave it in.
You go, you're going to shoot up the club, you feel, man.
You too, Fernie.
All right, you too, Fernie.
Because especially if you're not feeling it on both sides, like you're ready to be
a dad, you're going to find the girl that none of these questions will even matter.
Yes.
Because it's going to be the one and she's going to be going to be one of sex.
Yeah, yeah.
Or it's going to just be like, surprise.
You're a dad.
Oh.
too.
That could be a thing.
I don't know.
That's a good thing.
You know what happens.
You have no choice in that one.
Cam back away and go get some milk.
Okay.
That's what me outside.
We have tickets right now.
Yes, we do.
We're trying to see Chris Brown at Breezy Bowl,
uh,
double X world tour with Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller.
We want you to win these tickets,
but you have to earn them.
All right.
We've put a timer up 10 seconds.
10 seconds on the clock.
This one's going to be super easy.
So easy like anyone could do it, right?
Yeah.
Like, let's go with.
You, which one are you?
Me?
I'm down.
You never choose me.
I choose you.
The listeners don't choose you.
I say everybody's name, okay?
I'm my biggest haters.
Greg just wants to be a Pokemon so bad.
He does.
He wants to be chosen?
Yeah.
He don't want me to.
All right, so we're going to put, Danny, we're going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
And after I say the sentence, that's when the time starts, okay?
Sentence.
Yes, in 10 seconds.
Okay.
Give me five words that rhyme with Christopher.
Go.
Listener.
Okay, okay.
Twist the first.
Immature.
Oh.
You could have rhymed that, right?
It's like a rapper.
It works.
Yeah.
You wouldn't have won the tickets,
but you wouldn't have won the tickets.
I tried.
You did.
I appreciate the attempt, okay?
So that's what we're going to do
for these tickets.
Let's go to Marissa in South LA on 9-10.
What's up, Marissa?
Marissa.
Hi, guys.
Good morning.
Hi, Marissa.
Marissa.
You saw how it went down.
Did you see the timer, the five things in 10 seconds?
That's what you got to do to win these tickets to see Chris Brown.
You saw that?
Yes, I heard.
Just give me an easy one, okay?
Oh.
I can't give you, Greg.
I can't give you Greg.
The easy one.
Okay.
All right, Marissa, the time is on the clock.
It's going to start as soon as I finish my sentence, okay?
In 10 seconds, give me five things that rhyme.
with summer.
Go.
Jeez.
Come on.
Oh, my gosh.
Summer.
What a bummer.
Bummer.
Lumber.
All right.
Thank you, Mary.
I thought that was kind of easy.
Yeah, Marissa.
That one rhyme too.
Mother?
Yeah, mother.
Mother.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, I said no.
Let's go to Brea and Wads.
Briah.
Briya.
Briya.
What's up, Briah?
Hey, hey, hey.
Hi, Brea.
Are you trying to see Chris Brown?
Yes, sometimes we can't grow.
All right, you heard the rules of the game, right?
Ten seconds.
You have to name five things that rhyme with the word I tell you, right?
Okay.
Okay, all right.
I'm doing my best.
And the time will start as soon as I finish my sentence, baby, girl.
In ten seconds.
Okay.
Name me five things that rhyme with Breezy.
Go.
Easy.
That's good.
Easy.
That's good.
Easy.
Greasy.
That was easy.
You only gave me three, but thank you so much.
You only gave me three, but thank you.
She was good.
She was on a roll.
She was getting it.
She was getting it.
It was rhythm.
Shut up, Briya, man.
Shut up Brian from Watts.
Brea, you did a great job.
You did a great job.
Brea, please hold.
All right, we got Lulu on the line from San Fernando.
Lulu.
Lulu.
Hi.
Good morning.
Lou Lou, you ready to play this game for Chris Brown tickets?
Yes.
All right.
Yes, ma'am.
You got to rhyme five words with the word I'm about to give you.
You ready?
I hope so.
All right.
She got it.
Time starts as soon as I finish saying the word.
In 10 seconds, give me five words that rhyme with sofi.
Sofi.
So five.
So five.
Hi.
Oh, bye.
Bye-bye.
Lo-fi was right there.
Okay, you do it.
Pick four words that rhyme with So-Fi.
God, why are you upset?
Because I want our people to win.
Don't do that because we want our people to win too.
Don't do that.
It's because she's with San Fernando.
So-Fi.
Lo-fi.
Hi-fi.
I would have taken all the fies.
Doty.
Bow-tie.
Bo-tie.
Bo-tie.
Oh, bo-tie.
Yeah.
Low tide.
Low tide.
That is not.
Hentai.
All right.
Lulu.
That's a word.
That's bad.
Jocelyn in Ontario.
Let's go to Jocelyn in Ontario on line seven.
Jocelyn.
Hello.
Hi, Jocelyn.
Hi.
Baby, girl, are you ready to play for Chris Browdiggots?
I am.
I just had to pull over because I'm literally down the street from my job, so I didn't want to crash.
You got it.
Good job.
You got this, okay.
In 10 seconds.
Okay.
Name me five words.
that rhyme with
Brown.
Go.
Brown. Town.
Clown.
Drown.
Down.
Nown.
Down.
Crown.
They fit.
They fit.
You said then something.
I thought you might have repeated some, but you got it,
baby girl.
You are going to see Chris Brown,
Bryson Tiller, and Summer Walker
at the Breezy Bowl, Double X World Tour.
Thank you guys so much.
I was looking for tickets.
They're super expensive, so I was going to try to get there.
I was, like, going to ball out.
But thank you guys so much.
You're welcome.
You looked and you found.
Congratulations.
Is social media not even social anymore?
Huh?
Which is the weird part of it.
No, thank you, Greg.
Thank you for just yelling in all of her.
Sorry, I'm jacked up on.
I know.
Whatever you got right here in the found blue
We're broadcasting live
Canelo Crawford
That's on this Saturday
Shout on Netflix for bringing us out here
Appreciate you
Okay yes
There's this new you know like
If you want to be the it girl
Or the egg guy
On Instagram
What has to happen?
You have to post less on social media
Oh
Yes
That's annoying
Wait wait wait wait wait
How are they gonna know I'm lit though
That's always been the thing
How was it always going to mean
No no there's not on Instagram
Yeah there's some people on Instagram
That's sure everything
That's I'm guilty for doing that
But on their story
On their hard posts, they share everything and it's not cool to do anymore.
Don't do that anymore. Don't be weird.
It's never been cool to flood it.
Well, I guess.
Over expose yourself.
At one point it was.
Because at one point, that's what it was for.
It was more photos.
Yeah.
Right?
And so you'd post photo.
Like, let's say you're at the beach.
You'd post a photo of the water.
Then you'd post the photo of the fan.
Yeah.
You post the photo of your grapes.
And it's like, it was everything at once.
Like, it was just there, right?
Play by play.
Now it's like, no.
One post at a time, if that.
Be mysterious.
But, yes.
Be the weekend.
You have to be aesthetic with that post.
Asteed.
You got to be cool with it.
You got to be smooth.
Okay.
I don't know about Vick's post that he just did on his...
Vic just posted something on his stories?
It's incredible.
It's riveting.
Honestly, everybody should look at it right now.
We're going to get to that.
Because there's some drama in here about social media posts.
I know.
And we're not talking about the other stuff we talk about.
Usually when it comes to you, Vic, I won't say it allowed, but we're all thinking it.
Okay.
But some other stuff.
Let's get to the social media story.
Nobody laugh.
It's a real life thing.
I'm kidding, Victor.
The social media stuff situation of like, should you post less?
Have you seen it?
I do think that people not get intimidated of what they post,
that it has to get a certain amount of likes or engagement or anything, right?
And then they're not posting a lot of stuff.
You know, and there's different places to post.
You could post on your story.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You can post, like, what is it?
Close friends?
No, no, carousels.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Stuff like that.
Yeah.
Photo dumps, right?
Yeah.
So then you're just used, it's one post.
but there's hell of photos within that, right?
Yeah.
So why would you give them each their own post?
Now you don't know what gets an individual post.
It's tricky because there's a post that I collab with you guys,
and you guys ruined my aesthetic, which was a frame.
What?
What?
What?
We just learned the word aesthetic.
People are too concerned with aesthetic on their Instagram.
I'm sure Maximo's followers are crushed that they can't see a square.
Oh, white border.
Yeah, you just ruined my white border.
Yeah, the aesthetic on Maximus Instagram is like a white border on every single picture.
Yeah.
So now that he collared on the Brown-Bank morning one.
So he gives his, he like crunches in his photo so that it gives you like this white frame.
It's like a white frame.
Kind of like a Polaroid.
So it's all spongy kids.
How are your followers never survived?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I got a lot of hate mail.
Hey, but I bet you the post that we collared you on was beautiful.
It was amazing actually.
Thank you.
More than 500,000 views and less than 24 hours.
That's all.
Wow.
Yeah, girlfriend.
Are you with the posting less?
Is everybody with the new trend of posting less on Instagram and social?
It seems like you get rewarded more, at least on Instagram for posting less,
because there's times where I posted one story a day and I get like over 10,000 stories.
Oh, that one story?
But then I post six times a day, which I think is riveting content.
And it gets like 900 views or something.
And it's like, I'm like, damn, okay.
So I just need to be more mysterious, I guess.
Oh, just like the last post you posted.
Just that last post that you bought to tell.
Okay.
Now we will get to that.
Okay.
The story is about that it's a trend right now posting less, all right?
It has to fit aesthetics.
Stating has to look cool.
Now, earlier, we're in the radio row here at Las Vegas.
We got here around 5.30.
As soon as Concrete and Vick sit next to each other,
Concrete just taps Vic is like, hey, whatever you just posted on stories is whack, bro.
Delane.
You got to do better.
And Vick is like, now I'm going to leave it up to hopefully it'll.
it'll get better with the light.
It's early.
It'll turn around.
Marley riser.
So you have Rose Crensvick on Instagram.
His last story is just like I guess it's the, it's the side of the ring, the Canelo
Crawford ring that's here at the fountain blue in the lobby and the ceiling.
Yeah.
Why don't you like it concrete?
It's a great photo.
I'm looking at it right now.
Very, very aesthetic.
It says nothing to me.
Yeah.
It does.
He put the push.
He put the clips malice, so be it.
Like the music.
Oh, is that what it is?
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's a ring.
There's a fighting ring.
It's whack.
The clips whack.
No, just the.
It's whack.
Okay, I'm going to tell you what it is, right?
What?
The problem is he got to lower the angle and get a better angle from like a, uh, he shot a two straight.
Yeah.
And then two, he doesn't get the full name of the fight.
And photography, it's not quite.
I get what I'm trying to do.
Yeah.
But if you ask me as a cinematographer.
Yeah.
Oh, I'm just being real.
I'm just being real.
I get what you're trying to do.
But I kind of feel like.
He didn't frame it correctly.
He doesn't remember like, you know, like, if you guys go see,
it looks like it's been seeing a Zordon from, from Power Rangers.
Okay.
He told you that home.
Yeah.
He cut off the name.
Oh, you know, my.
Yeah, he should have hit it with like a point five.
Cut off the name of Crawford.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You got to get the full brandy.
Yeah.
I guess, Vic, how do you like being like just criticized off of like, just do your best?
I feel like you like, you thought it was good.
It was more of a like, hey, I'm here.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm here.
I'm working.
You know what I'm saying?
It was what I got.
I didn't post anything at all about being in Vegas yesterday.
So I was like, whoa, I need a like, you know.
To me, it's more like, here, here, here, yeah, there, there.
Stop bugging.
I posted something.
Oh, my God.
I took, like, three photos and I was just like, oh, which one's the best one?
That's the best, please.
That was the best.
You took three?
Yeah, so I was like, okay, cool, boom.
But I think it was a great post because it got all you guys in your feelings.
No.
I'm so.
You know what?
Yeah, exactly.
Because I want more for you, man.
That's the point of engagement.
Hey, that's whack, homie.
That's still a comment.
That's still a comment.
Social media rewards engagement, not positive or negative, all right?
I'm playing the game correctly.
No, you're right.
Vic, follow the trend.
Postless.
Thanks.
Postless.
Oh.
I don't know where this heat comes from.
Just go ahead and deactivate now, please.
That's crazy.
I'm not mad at your post.
I don't know what's the big fuss about it.
I think they just chose.
you to dog pile on today.
You know what?
So be it.
Whoa.
We put a poll on Brown by Mornings 106 about his story.
Yeah.
See if it's whack or not.
Let's see.
Let's see.
And can you side by side it with concrete glass.
Look at that hair just flowing.
Hair blowing in the wind.
That's his last post.
That's four.
I thought that was jelly roll.
How dare you?
Oh, wow.
You know he's sensitive about his appearance, bro.
I'm very sensitive.
Oh, I'm very sensitive.
Oh, I'm the problem.
him headass
concrete has a white and black photo
up last post yet
and his hair's blowing in the wind
He looks mad in that picture
Why'd you remove your face tat
You'll be the judge
Brownback Morning 1006 on Instagram
Now he wants to move on
Let's move on
Can't handle the heat
All right
Brownback Morning 106 on Instagram
Previously
We thought bad one he hated us
Oh, yes.
But what went down, Angelica?
For the longest time, I really, really thought I'm like,
Bad Bunny hates us America.
Not Brown Bag?
No, like all of us in general.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But apparently he actually cares about us, you guys.
Okay.
He was actually, he came out and said why he skipped the U.S. tour.
He's all like.
So what do you mean he skipped the U.S. tour?
You add that, please.
Oh, so pretty much, you know how Bad Bunny's announced his whole, like,
residency out in Puerto Rico.
Yeah, Puerto Rico.
And then shortly after that,
Months later, he dropped like the world tour.
Yep.
And America, us, the USA was not in there.
We got skipped.
Yeah.
And I was telling you guys, he freaking hates us.
We are the world.
We are the world.
Yeah, I guess he's toured always in these areas.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
And I did appreciate like the, oh, hey, if you want to see me, see me in Puerto Rico,
because it could be a flight for people from the U.S.
that really want to see him.
But he's wanted to do his residency for Puerto Rico to bring people here.
So totally understood the first part of that.
But then when he started announcing, like, all the other places he's going, and he was like, hey, why is it F us for?
Yeah.
Why is skipping us?
Yeah.
But he actually did come out with a statement.
And he said, I did not skip you guys because I hate you or anything like that.
It's actually because of freaking ICE.
He's like, I was actually really scared or worried that maybe, like, ice was going to be outside of the concerts and people were going to get caught up.
So he doesn't hate us.
He's just, he's worried about us.
For the safety.
Our safety, yes.
I want to see this last.
album so bad live.
Oh, yeah.
I know.
We're missing on all.
Yep,
we're missing all the vibes.
Yes.
Well, he is right in a sense, though, because if I were looking and I'm not trying to, like,
but if I were looking for a strong, or like a big crowd or community to maybe apprehend
or detain, we're going to the bad bunny concert.
Oh, hell yeah.
For sure.
You know, if we can.
Yeah, absolutely.
I'm, man, kicking myself because, you know, you take artists for granted sometimes.
He was at, um, was it, the forum or so-fi, yeah, maybe two years ago and I had tickets to go.
And I was like, oh, I'll just catch him next time.
You know, it's not a good time for me.
And look, he's not back.
And he might not be back for a little while longer.
And already a lot of artists are not touring in the States because of the content of their songs have been now.
Yeah.
Like, not necessarily bad here, but they've been revoked from working here because what of the content, like what the content of the music is.
And it would be artists that we kind of go out for, you know what I'm saying?
So I'm wondering, does this mean like no fun for us, like no concerts for us because of that?
because now our favorite artists have to deal with the catch-22.
If they come out, maybe ice could be outside.
If I don't go, they don't get to see me.
Like, what is that?
Yeah, it's like either they're worried about themselves and their own work visas
or, you know, the status and immigration status of all their fans.
So it's like it's tricky.
Angie, we're not going to hear this.
We're not.
At all.
Thank God.
What?
What?
Con.
What?
Come on.
It's always one.
Come on.
A hateer, come on.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry.
Very Vegas.
Concrete.
We're missing, I don't know that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Come on.
Oh, I know what.
I know why he hates him.
Why?
Because Bad Bunny is actually Puerto Rican.
Oh.
And Khan is fake Puerto Rican.
Yeah, you're a fraud.
This is actually true life.
Concrete pretended to be Puerto Rican for a girl back in the day.
Yeah.
About four years, right?
Four years of pretendation.
Four girls.
First life.
Got to catch them all.
It's crazy because now I'm pretending to be white with this.
Cabronoita, you know?
What?
What?
You're what?
Moving on.
All right.
So that was the reason in that bad bunny game, okay?
Just don't do the timetable on when he announced the toy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Let's ignore the dates.
His reference.
You're questionable.
Yeah, Matt.
There's also some stuff going down with Ice Spice.
What's happening, Vic?
Yes, Ice Spice, who constantly raps about being the fart or the poop or how she's Mrs. Dipper.
Well, she has one of the things she said in her music before.
Yes, that's a bar.
Yeah, she has a problem with people saying this certain word.
Zadu?
Ew.
What the, with the Z you're saying?
No.
Like, Zadi is weird.
I don't know.
She thinks that's ew.
and that's weird.
She sounds like.
It's ill.
It's ill.
How is it ill?
Miss,
Miss poopie is ill.
Yes,
poopie?
Yeah.
I expect it is ill?
No.
No, the things that she says.
How is daddy ill if you're okay
with the other stuff
that's actually ill?
Yeah.
Because Zaddy is one of my pronouns.
Can you?
So I feel personally attacked
by her saying that.
What do you mean it's ill,
girl?
Who calls you Zatty?
Yeah.
Oh, my girl.
That's why it's been good.
That was cringe.
You just proved the point there.
That was from Greg's book.
Thank you.
What book?
The Rules of the Road?
That's, yeah, you both are not.
You're like, Zampos.
Zampos?
Oh, dare you.
How dare you?
Well, you're my son.
Hey, hey, that's my son.
Honestly, I'm happy.
Honestly, suck this guy.
I'll suck you up every day
I'll suck you up right now in front of everybody
What does suck is going on?
Hey, do it, prove it this.
I'll go and suck you up.
All right.
We're gone.
I'll suck you up into your black and blue.
We're gone.
What did she say?
And we replace the Z with the F so you guys know what I'm doing.
You guys, y'all role name isn't fatty.
She's replacing D.
What?
She's replacing the D word.
Y'all are replacing the F word.
Oh, it's right next to it.
You're being Zaddy.
Yeah.
Stop being Zix, okay?
Zaddy.
I just, like I said, I felt personally attacked.
Your girl caused you, Zaddy?
Yeah.
I don't believe.
I don't believe it.
Damn, Zaddy.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
When I post my mirror pics and stuff, like, she can't get enough.
I feel like you tell her that.
Oh, my God.
You said that in pain.
She cannot get it.
get enough of me. Okay, I guess
ice by saying, stop saying Zaddy.
Are you gonna, you guys don't like it?
Can you play it over time? Yeah. I don't care what you think.
She ain't the one calling me Zaddy.
Well, when she says it, it's like, who.
Zaddyu? Ew.
No, no, no, stop it right there.
Zaddyu?
Zaddyu?
What?
What? What?
Zaddy.
What? She said, no, daddy.
Ew.
Some New York girls, mine.
Yeah.
Oh, oh.
That laugh.
I like Ice spice.
She's cool.
No, I mean, she's the home girl.
No, I mean, she's a home girl.
No, I mean, she's cool.
She's coming? Oh, I hate that word too, dog.
All of a sudden.
I hate that words.
You know, we're going to go see Crawford.
Stop calling me that.
I'm going to tell Crawford what you said.
I'll sock that fool when he comes over here, dog.
You'll suck him up?
I'll suck him up.
No, no.
I'll say that.
You'll suck him up.
I'll pull his braids when I'm sucking him up.
No, that's it.
We're going to go into the song and keep it here.
Hey, someone texts you.
I think it's your girl saying, I do not call you Zetti.
Oh, no.
Check it.
Yeah.
Read it.
If your text goes on.
Morning Zaddy.
No, she did it.
Yeah, she did.
New rule on Brownback Morning's Power 106, you can hold this to it.
If one of our phone goes off during the show, we have to read what that message was.
Can you do the honors?
Can you read what his message was?
Yeah.
It was.
No, don't show him.
Let concrete read it.
It was, uh...
No, let concrete do you.
Oh, it's a picture.
It's just a picture that Jose sent.
It's a picture.
Why didn't say you were talking to Zadi?
You're literally right here.
It's Jose telling him that he wants his.
suck him up.
All right.
I believe it.
Yolene sat down and this man
cannot stop looking at those brows.
Canelo versus Grofford
going down Saturday, September 13,
live only on Netflix.
Hey, we had to talk about
something that you fell for.
Again? Yes, don't fall for it. This is the
segment where we tell you what news to not fall for
because there's a lot of misinformation on social
media, online, all of that, and even in person.
Yeah. You were once told a lie,
like, hey, did you hear if you do this,
you then this happens.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you eat sandia, then drink milk, you die the next day.
What?
I never heard that one.
Yeah, but it's lie.
It's misinformation.
I googled there's nothing wrong.
My parents used to tell me if you turn the light on in the car, you get...
A ticket.
That's not illegal.
It's not illegal.
No, and it's built in the car for a reason.
If you eat and swing right after you're going to die.
Oh, yeah.
So all of these things.
If you swallow a gum,
you'll just tap.
Yeah.
Well, yeah, that's true.
If you make a funny face,
if you make a funny face, you can get stuck.
Stuck with your funny face?
was that happened huh i'm sorry no no yeah
no yeah
well
we're all trying to fight each other
today like he's doing
he's doing it
Angie what did you fall for
oh my god okay I was scrolling
and looking for cheese my right
and then I saw this that Kevin Durant
was considering or actually
was going to be cast for Love Island
season 8
Kevin Durran
Kevin Durant
Durant
Durant
Durant
okay Kevin Durant Duran
Angie, Kevin Duras, no.
Yeah, okay, KD, KD, KD.
KD.
You know who I was talking about?
Yeah, no, I don't know.
Okay, KD, that fool.
Kevin Duran.
I saw.
Yeah, NBA player, Kevin Duran.
Yeah.
Was reportedly going to be on the next Love Island,
which is where, like, a lot of fit young people go on
and they try to find love.
Huda was there and all of that.
I don't know if he would fit in.
I don't know if he'll fit in.
fit in.
What do you mean?
Why?
Because everybody,
what did you say young and fit?
Yeah.
He's not fit?
No.
And he's not young.
Yeah, he's not.
Bro, he's young.
He's not young.
No.
All the people are in their 20.
Man, man,
my boy thick.
Concrete's looking at your thick thighs while you're saying that.
He's running short.
That boy thick.
Oh, my God.
All right.
ADHD.
Let's focus.
Let's focus.
Are you wearing sweats?
Or is that hair?
He's wearing sweats under his shorts.
He's under his shorts, like with hair.
So Angie almost fell for that.
I did.
Why would you believe that?
Well, it said, it was a whole, like, post.
Yeah, I saw it on Twitter.
I saw it on Instagram.
And I even thought I'm like, oh, my God, Vic is going to get so excited because his man's is going to be a love island, his favorite show.
It's not my man's.
He's a player for the Rockets.
Okay.
I'm a Laker fan.
But he is a legend, he is a legend.
He is a legend.
But, like, I mean, that would be interesting because there's always a thing.
Like, he has never had, like, a wife and kids.
People always say like LeBron has wife and kids, Chris Paul.
Like where's your girl, KD?
People kind of like chastise him about that.
So I think that's why they even put that fake news in there.
I don't need a girl when I got Drake.
He's married to basketball.
He's married to basketball.
Okay.
So don't fall for that.
If you see it online, don't fall for it.
It's fake.
And you fell for it.
And I can't believe someone fell for this guy.
All right.
There's a photo I'm looking at right now.
It says, flashback to September 9th, 2014.
Do y'all remember where you were?
2014?
I was in high school.
2014.
2014.
September.
I was working at the bank.
Really?
Oh, I was probably working at the bank.
Damn it.
Yeah, I was in high school.
Damn it.
Damn it.
What?
Say it.
I hate you, Adri.
My cousin.
Who is that?
No.
Who's that good?
That is not you, dog.
This has to go up on a brown bag morning.
Is that you?
People are going to say I'm a face.
Ned Flanders looking foe.
I made that.
I made that graphic myself.
What is this?
Okay, you gotta talk about it, describe it.
At one point in time.
Who's working at pre-America right there?
I was working at Chase or Wells Fargo, one of those banks.
Okay.
I'll put it in this picture up right now.
That's horrible.
2014, I was on the road with Cole and like, I didn't look how I looked like now.
You are aware?
Yeah.
On the road with J. Cole?
Oh, nice.
Yeah.
But I didn't look like how I looked right now.
What were you doing on the road with J. Cole?
I was their social media strategies.
She was working.
Yeah.
Oh, good for you.
So you meet a correspondent.
What were you doing in 2014?
I was probably working in Walaara.
I was shooting music videos at the time for second.
Was your hair as long?
No.
See, you look different too.
No, no.
Angie, what were...
I had a fade.
What were you doing?
Oh, I was a lot skinny.
Oh, you know.
So beautiful.
Yeah, yeah.
I was a lot skinny here.
Maxim?
Uh, my, I was working at a school.
It was a behavioral therapist.
Do you look the same?
I feel like you're someone that looked the same throughout.
I was just getting there, too.
Yeah.
Greg?
I was graduating high school.
And how did you look?
Probably the same, but it's just about the same.
So Vic is just a person that can transform his look like no other.
Vic, that beard did.
Did you post it, bro?
I posted it, bro.
I posted it really.
It's wonders for you, my jean.
This is scary.
Why is this on my phone?
I already had a beard at that point.
I remember I just, I shaved.
I'm not exactly sure why.
But then I was like, it'll be funny if I just leave a mustache just for like a day.
And then so I did.
And then I took a photo and I was like, I knew I looked crazy.
And I didn't look like that every day.
but yeah it was funny i knew i looked like net flanders i'm like bro i look like ned flanders right now
