But when Nats, you could see like a big bunch of them like mosquitoes just one and it sneaks up on you. Only you can see Nats and you look crazy to other people. You just start flinging in the air. Starting point is 00:02:55 There's no better way to make money moves out here in America is by Going on Jeopardy! Yeah. Yes. Shout out to all the Latinos out there because we were a category. Oh. Yeah. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Latinas 200. Astronaut. Ellen Ochoa has logged nearly 1,000 hours in space. And in 2013, became director of Johnson Space Center in this city. Do you guys know the answer? Anyone want to guess? Vic, you're really good at trivia. How well do you know your Latinos?
Starting point is 00:03:21 Just Google Johnson Space. I'm not going to lie. You're not going to lie. I'm not going to lie. The first time I heard it, I thought I said Memeochoa. That's the first. Oh, you get into my brain. My brain.
Starting point is 00:03:31 The second time I was like, Eleanor Choir. And it's not John F. Kennedy, because that's in Florida. All right. Let's go Latinos for 800. Tina, 800. Latinos for eight, please. Sandra Cisneros is known for her depiction of Mexican-American life in Chicago, as in this 1983 novel.
Starting point is 00:03:48 You guys know this one. We all read it. What is the House on Mango Street? What is... Jen. Is the House on Mango Street? That's the book. What is...
Starting point is 00:03:57 Leave yourself. Latina's for 600. Victor was a great. The first Hispanic person on the Supreme Court, she says her law career was partly inspired by Perry Mason. Who is Judge Judy? I think she's there right now. Judge Judy's not Hispanic and she's not a Supreme Court.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Who is Sotomayor? Yes. Well, who is Sotomayor? Good. Let's go. Victor! You guys need to fund me on Jeopardy. You guys need to.
Starting point is 00:04:27 I wish you were this good for the listener. I am. He's great at trivia. Come on, man. Vic is the one that I'm going to trust if we go to Jeopardy or Family Feud or any of that. All right, let's keep going to go in. Latinos for 400. He's definitely searched the subject in another website.
Starting point is 00:04:42 An advocate for more Latinos in the arts, she was nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar for Barbie. You know what, you know what you know it. America Ferreira. Let's go! Who is? Who is Ferreira? America Ferreira is right. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Fun fact once ran into her at airport. She has a white husband. Did you say excuse me America or what did you say? No, I just saw her right there. I was like, oh my God, that's her. That's ugly Betty. Latina's 100. The first Latina inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame, Dolores Werta helped
Starting point is 00:05:17 Cesar Chavez start this labor organization. Y'all know this. I know it. I know it is. I'm going to just wait for y'all to say it. What is the Farmers Association? Almost. Almost.
Starting point is 00:05:30 The UFW, United Farm Workers. See? Paul. What is United Farm Workers? Yes. Come on. Come on. Victor and his Latino knowledge.
Starting point is 00:05:41 What the hell are you doing here, buddy? Greg could never. But I saw this list of the most searched slang words from California. I'm saying right now. As a mom, it's really important for me to figure out what these kids are saying. Yes. You know what they're talking behind my back? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:57 I know what they're talking about. Are they plotting to take over the world? maybe. But some of these terms, pretty crazy. Yeah. I'm only going to give you three. Okay. Lo-key, we're probably going to do this day by day.
Starting point is 00:06:08 These kids are learning a lot of words, and we got to stay up to date, all right? The first one is S-Y-B-A-U. Oh, yeah. It's a-U. Yeah. But it's an acronym. Yep. S-Y-B-A-U.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Sabau. Sabau. No, I know what that means. Why do you know what that means? When was it used to you? Who said Max was watching a video. actually and they said that and I was like, what is that? He doesn't know what it is.
Starting point is 00:06:33 They said the Sabao? Yeah, they said Sabao. Sabau. Yeah. And then it's an acronym. It's an acronym. It's an acronym. I know, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:39 I'll wait till you guys. Little Vic hasn't said it. Shut show B-A-U. What? I know. No. No. I want to you, you little rascals.
Starting point is 00:06:49 You so rude. Yes. Yes. It's crazy. Sabout. Be a man, just say it. No. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:06:55 No. No. No. No. Hey, Sabow you. About you Yeah Twice
Starting point is 00:07:00 S Y FM SYFM SYFM Similar acronym Yeah I know I know I know that
Starting point is 00:07:06 I know that one Say it I know that one Say it without cursing The way that I said it without cursing Uh Shut show
Starting point is 00:07:14 No SY FM No No No it's not that I'm telling you It's not that There's an actual answer
Starting point is 00:07:20 Suck yo father's Whoa I don't know Memory Gluck I don't know That is great. You're crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:30 All right. This says, this says, please stop guessing, something you effing missed. Used to show extreme disappointment when someone fails to notice something. Oh,
Starting point is 00:07:40 much better than... Yeah, you got Chino. F. F. Y, M. you mean. Yeah, it's different. It's different. It's different.
Starting point is 00:07:47 You can't think you know, bro. We don't know. You're old. You're old. We shouldn't give this generation like the leeway to invent their own slang. Well, they're doing it. It's just so you can understand them more.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Do you all know what a fandom tax is? No. Phanum. F-A-N-U-M. I'm on to you, children. No, but Phantom is a streamer. Yeah, he did. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Phantom talks, excuse me, fandom tax is something we probably all did to as kids. Ah. So it's something like we could give. Like you, when you like eat some of your homies chips or something? Yes. Wow.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Yeah. What? All right. It's playfully taking a large portion of a friend's food. The name comes from the internet. at streamer Phantom who began the trend. He didn't begin the trend. I'm sorry, Phantom, shout out to you.
Starting point is 00:08:33 You probably did for the kids. My boy Duno did. Notorious. You can eat that? Yes, yeah, it's on my plate and I'm eating it. Nectitious. He does it. But didn't we all do that as kids?
Starting point is 00:08:46 He ordered his whole meal and then he'll be like, oh, how's that taste? It tastes really good, Duno. That's why I got it. And it's for me. Notorious for that. Start putting up borders around the home meal. Can have a bite? You can have a bite.
Starting point is 00:08:59 But yes, fandom text would be when you take some food off of your homies play. Kids, stop being weak kids. Just say the whole thing. Say what? The all the beginning, the first two. No. It doesn't hit the same. It doesn't hit the same.
Starting point is 00:09:12 It does for them. I feel like it works. I'd rather them say that acronym than say the actual word. Exactly. And they're doing it so they don't get in trouble if they're saying it at school, like around teachers. It's like going over on the teachers, right? Yeah. And all the kids love that.
Starting point is 00:09:26 So, yeah, that's three for today. There's more. And these get pretty wild. You know the crazy thing, too, is that a lot of the words that are slang are starting to get added to, like, the dictionary. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which is wild. But these ones, I don't think, have been. So we're going to get you with the ones that you should be knowing because these kids are saying subout to you for no reason.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Spout? Yeah, no. So there's only three? I thought there was like, today. I thought there was six, seven. Boom. Anyways. What a great joke.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Cringe. Oh, my gosh. This is terrible. Can we move on? I'm up on the trends, all right? All right, Big. Tell us something good. Tell us me which food's getting their flowers for Hispanic character today.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Today we honor Mamo Ochoa goalie for Mexico's national team. Mamo Ochoa, you guys. He made his debut 20 years ago in 2005. He's appeared in five World Cups. He's won six gold cups in the Conca Calf. And as recently as 2023, he had the most saves in a top Euro. European League. He's such a great goalie, in fact, that a rumor went viral that he had six fingers on one hand. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yeah, that was a crazy rumor. Supposed that he had an extra finger. He had an extra finger. Because he's that good at. Because he was good at. And everybody believed it so much that USA Today literally released an article back in 2014 to say it was false. Really? It went that mainstream.
Starting point is 00:11:13 And they're like, no, no, five fingers. Five fingers. Please look. Look at the glove. Look at the glove. Yeah. Yeah, he did a lot of amazing things for the team. And it looks like he's on the retirement tour.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Yeah. Yeah. He's going to hang out. He's going to hang up the wantes. He was still trying to get on the team this year. I would be a coach. I would honorary him like how they honorary just have Kirsch all around. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:34 Kind of. Yeah. Just hang out. Maybe it could be part of like the coaches. But every single like, you know, like slot in the Selection is like so crucial. Oh, of course. So they can like afford to give him. His hair is so curly and nice.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Oh, it's a curly hair guy. Yeah. Yeah. The curly hair guy. Bro. I don't know. More respect on him. He's not the curly hair guy.
Starting point is 00:11:54 It's Memo. But he does have curly hair. St. Memo Choa. In Memo, we trust. Yes. There's memes about him being a saint. I don't know. Kobe Jones was the blonde one to me.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Yeah, but this is Memo. Did you have blonde hair? Yes. Yes, he did. Yes, Kobe Jones. That's not I know. It's okay. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Oh, that's for the other LA team. Yeah. But yes, Memo, you save Mexico. Countless times, but today we save him some flowers. We love you, Memo. Let memo. No, it was penna. No,
Starting point is 00:12:25 no pepennas. He didn't block that one. Yeah. Simper pitt. Simp or pimp. BIMP. Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip. And today's Simp nominees, anybody that spends a lot of money on the first date.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Yes, today's SIMP, people that spent more than $20 on a date. Yeah. So NBA Hall of Famer and also Lakers, Los Angeles and Lakers nemesis. Paul Pierce has a message for all the sims. She can only spend a dove on the first day. Because think about it, the hike free, then you go to Starbucks, get a cup of coffee and some egg bites or whatever. Boom, boom, boom, boom. You're cracking.
Starting point is 00:13:09 And then you have a good conversation. $20 is enough for the first day. He's 20 bucks only. I love it. I love it. I mean, I think that's, like, good for him because he's obviously, like, worth millions of dollars. Yeah. So he doesn't want to show his.
Starting point is 00:13:22 hand all that first and wants to be sure like are you really with me for me you know what I'm saying yeah yeah yeah to me that makes some sense but like for everybody know like you kind of have to like impress me big spend more than $20. Yeah. So just because you're broke you got to spend more money now. Yeah. Not me, but you know what I'm saying? Others.
Starting point is 00:13:41 Yeah, others. Yeah, not me. I'm frugal, rich or poor. What? Yeah, but he's saying $20 do it like an activity and everything because there's too many people doing this. Like, though, Catsby going out spending three, four hundred and be like, man, I'm never talking to her again. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Like, damn, because the convo is blowing you. So true. I get that part. That's true. Yeah. I feel like that happens often. You see people with pictures at, like, expensive restaurants and doing things, hoping to impress a girl. That always ends up not coming back.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Sometimes ends up. Sometimes. A lot of the times. Like, every single date I've been on and I've spent money, I, like, I sincerely regret it. I'm like, I don't want to be, like, with this person. I don't know why. Every day you just like, A phone call is a lot cheaper.
Starting point is 00:14:28 And that's why I'm like, I'll go on a hike with you. I'll go get some ice cream with you. And then it's like, because I don't want to spend money with you. I don't want to be with you. Girls. But also you can get them like used to that. If that's the first date, then what's the second date?
Starting point is 00:14:39 Like that has the top of it. You set a certain standard. If you can't uphold that, then you shouldn't start. Yeah. I'm just tripping out that he said that this would cost 20 bucks because because it wouldn't. You can only spend a dove on the first date. Because think about the hike free,
Starting point is 00:14:53 and then you go to Starbucks, get a cup of coffee or some egg bites or whatever. All right, are you only getting yourself? Yeah. Because, like, solo maybe 20. I feel like he wasn't counting. The other person. Himself.
Starting point is 00:15:04 He wasn't counting himself. Oh, he's just counting to buy her. He's just counting, like, how much I spend on her. And so you're going to tell her, hey, you're getting the egg wipes. Like, that part of like, you know, I get you on the don't spend too much. Right. Or maybe the last time he did this was like 97. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:21 I'm like, this is a lot of time. could I do these egg bites. It's not that cheap anymore. No. And I mean, I don't know too many people that order egg bites. I've never ordered to like. He does. He definitely does.
Starting point is 00:15:30 He does. He does. He does. He'd be cheap. Yes. First dates, if you spend a lot of bread on the first date, should you be considered a sim because maybe it might not work out? Should you do the date that's like a feeler?
Starting point is 00:15:41 Yeah. Let's do something free. Let's go walk at a park. Let's go take a hike. A museum. Yeah. A museum. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:47 100%. Chris Brown said it. It ain't tricking if you got it. Yeah. So if you got it, you could spend it? She's a puerto. It's a puera.
Starting point is 00:15:53 It doesn't make you as simple if you want to spend money. Yeah. Because that's how you want to spend. That's the way you live. But imagine spending. That's the way you spend the time. $300 and you only like the girl. Like imagine that.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Okay, here's my thing. Because Jorge, I'm the more frugal one. And when we'd go out, he spent like over $100 on food and I would trip out because I'm like, oh, this is too much bread. Like, but he would do that naturally. Yeah. Like naturally, if he goes eat solo or his homies, he's spending, they're spending a lot of money. So it'd be weird for him to if that.
Starting point is 00:16:21 That's his lifestyle to then spend just 20 bucks on me. You know what I'm saying? Like that's just his standard already. It's based on your personal lifestyle. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because what I would do is like... And brachisco spots, there ain't no 20... There's not even a $20 plate.
Starting point is 00:16:33 That's like a 20... Every place is like 24 bucks. Yeah. Easy. Because like the first dates I go on are really chill, very simple, a museum free, blah, blah, blah. But then we'll go to the dinners. Museum. Yeah, museums are free in L.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Well, museums are free. What museum are you going to, dog? The mocha. Come on. I know mocha's free, right? He's getting MoMA. He's going to MoMA. You go to the balloon museum, free.
Starting point is 00:16:55 The balloon museum? No, museums cost entrance. Yeah, there is. It's like six bucks. You take your library card? You got reservations. You see, you guys got a no game. Reservations?
Starting point is 00:17:05 Oh, my. You guys got to go. I'm wondering you don't get past this first day. Know the game on how to not spend. It's okay. I respect Greg, because I've seen that he's done both. I've seen him spend like the $300. And now he's trying to leave the $7.
Starting point is 00:17:20 all their interest in a museum. You want to see my record collection on my house? Take it to Amoeba. They think it's the most craziest thing in the world. Oh my God, there's so many records. You've never seen it. Never seen it in their life.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Greg shows up to the date with egg bites already. This is what an iPod looks like from the inside. He's like, oh, I already ate. You order what you want? You want to go to a concert? A firm. Got any tickets? Boom.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Such a cat. Oh. Yeah. Take it to the free ones right there at Persian Square. But is it same for people that spend more than $20 on a date? No, I don't think so. Yeah, I don't think so. I think it's depending on your lifestyle, bro.
Starting point is 00:17:59 I think 50 is fair. 50 on a first date? Yeah. 50 is fair. Yeah, I mean, but like you said, everything's based on lifestyle. For Greg? It's based on your pockets. It's based on your pockets.
Starting point is 00:18:11 I don't want to spend anything. I don't even want to see her sometimes. I don't even want to be here. Greg, I don't know what if you think this makes you. more attractive to talk the way that you talk It doesn't. It doesn't. Or cool. There's some girl out there that's like, dude, I'm going to change that man.
Starting point is 00:18:28 He's the working. Please change him. He's been wearing the same underwear. I'm going to change him. Dates I've been on and I've spent $20 and I don't even like you. Like you're annoyed. Why go on the date? It took you $20 to figure it out? Yeah, it did. And that makes me mad.
Starting point is 00:18:43 I felt a bad admission. Yeah. It's like, oh my God. I wish I could be doing something else right now. And you think she's just over the moon. Yeah, she falls a little. love with me. And I'm like, bro, get away. All right. Girls, let us know if you
Starting point is 00:18:53 believe him or not. Like, I really want to know ladies, 818, 52059. Like, when you hear Greg, like, I want you to tell me, does this turn you on? Is this somebody? She'll be surprised. No, I'm asking. No, I'm asking. I'm really curious. I'm asking.
Starting point is 00:19:09 All right. We also got Nyla and Inglewood on the line. Nyla. Before all of this, we were talking about Simperpimp and spending money like $20 on dates, and Greg was like, oh, I hate it. You only got to spend, I don't want to spend money. I just, I find out they're annoying on the first day. I only take them to the museum and then they say, get out of here.
Starting point is 00:19:28 You sound like you hate women out and you don't. I don't. I just have high expectations. What expectations? I'm the prize. How? How? That's right.
Starting point is 00:19:38 So I ask like, hey, does this turn anybody on the way that you act? Nyla. Yeah. What's up, Nail? Good morning. Good morning. How do you feel when you hear, Greg? Is it just like, woo.
Starting point is 00:19:49 want to get to know that guy. It was funny every morning. You know, I listen to you guys every morning, so sometimes he just have me shaking my head. He says the craziest thing sometimes. How are he saying all this with his smiles? Do you like it or not? Do you like it or not?
Starting point is 00:20:07 Would you take the date or not? I don't know. I feel like deep down he just wants love, but he just doesn't let anything. She's seeking attention. She said she wouldn't take the date. She's falling for it. No. Melanie and Pekoyama.
Starting point is 00:20:21 What do you feel about this? how you feel about Greg and the way that he presents himself? Melanie? Melanie? Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. He's a little, how do I say, a little obnoxious. But you're smiling when you're saying it, Melanie. You're laughing, you're laughing.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Yeah. Chigs dig it, man. We got to go. We got to commercials. Andrea and Ontario, do you think he's hot? No Oh No
Starting point is 00:20:55 All right All right Straight up You want to turn off the radio No See what you're doing Don't do that Please Andrea
Starting point is 00:21:05 I'm so sorry Andrea That was a good joke I'm sorry Andrea I only keep listening Because of Lettie Let's stop! Please stay here
Starting point is 00:21:14 Don't don't do that He's doing scissors Finger Yeah Andrea He is he's doing that He's doing that Andrea
Starting point is 00:21:21 Follow the line All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean, phone line. We've got you for. The homie help line.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Claudia needs our help. Claudia. Claudia sent us a DM and said, Hi, Brown Bag. I need help. She said, I've been with my man for eight years now, but the last two have been so frustrating. She says, I feel like I'm being strung along and I'm tired of it.
Starting point is 00:21:50 So me and my partner have a significant age gap about two decades, and this is the healthiest and happiest relationship I've ever had, and we both love each other very much. Two decades is 20 years. She said we also have three kids, one stepdaughter, and two babies. The problem is, though, he bought my engagement ring two years ago and has yet to propose. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:14 All right? He keeps saying he will, but two years have passed and nothing. I've talked about it with him many times, and he said he's going to do it this year for sure, but now it's already September and still nothing. We don't have a lot of disposable income, so that was his excuse for a while, but I'm not asking for a lot.
Starting point is 00:22:32 I just want a beautiful setup with a nice view. It could be somewhere like a rooftop or a hilltop or beach, whatever. Flowers all around. A sign or balloons that say, marry me, letters, candles, nothing too crazy. That's doable. Yeah, that's doable. She said, I also want it to just be,
Starting point is 00:22:49 me and him, no friends or family, because I want it to be an intimate moment. I only want a photographer there so they can capture the moment. She said, I just want to be married, Brown Bag. At this point, I will say yes to any proposal. I just want to be able to call him my husband. I don't understand why he won't propose. He says it's because he's intimidated by my high expectations, but I've given him ideas and vendors that would help take care of the setup. Yep.
Starting point is 00:23:17 She said, unless he's really, really good at hiding it, I don't believe it's going to happen this year. I feel like I'm being strung along at this point. Do guys usually take this long? Is he lying about proposing to me or is he just leading me on? Help me out, Brown Bag. Okay, so is he telling the truth about proposing to her or is he leading her on, right? Yeah. What do you guys think?
Starting point is 00:23:39 I don't know. You guys are fools. He's California. They're California married. I was about to say, much, we could answer this since. Excuse me, sir. I am a married man. How long did it take you to be married?
Starting point is 00:23:50 12 years. 12 years. Okay, no. And how long have you been married? 13 years. Wow. So it took 12 years to get there, but you finally got there. So I guess you could be the reason like, hey, yeah, maybe it's just waited out.
Starting point is 00:24:05 I think waited out. I mean, obviously something about like the idea of marriage bothers him or worries him or he fears it. A lot of times also, people feel like after when you're with someone too long and you get married, that it turns into like a bad love thing. It's like a jinx. It's a jinx. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:24 I feel like he might have been married before because she did mention a stepdaughter. So, and he's older. So maybe he just doesn't want to do that again. And also, since he's older, he might just be trying to wait it out. So what, though? Wait what out? Like, till he's really, really old. And, you know?
Starting point is 00:24:42 He would try to do that? Yeah. Like he's like, no, he's like, oh, don't worry. We'll get married, we'll get married. But he's like in the 60s or something. It's like, yeah. But she's getting tired of it. She's probably going to leave him after a while if he doesn't do it.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Could be. Concord. How long did it take you to propose? Nine months. Nine months. All right. Nine months. Well, then I guess, maximum for you.
Starting point is 00:25:01 Yes. That took over a decade. Yeah, for sure. What was it? I think for me, like, growing up, when my parents split, it really affected me. And I feel like that kind of made me lose, like, like the trust or I guess faith in like the concept of marriage. And for me that was just like I felt to me it felt like my loyalty isn't,
Starting point is 00:25:24 like I'm not committed on a label. Yeah, yeah. That's how I felt, you know. That sounds great. Obviously, he played different from my girl. No, what did she think? I'm sure, you know, she dreamed to getting married. It's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Oh, wait, I thought you're married. I mean, like a wedding. She's still dreaming right out of the house. She's in a sleep. Hey, man. Married you. Till tomorrow. After all I'm into.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Sometimes guys leave the door open just in case something better comes around. Oh, don't tell her that. How long did it take Jorge to propose to you? Jolte. Jorhito was like three or four months. Oh, okay. It was like a year and a half. We jumbled it around.
Starting point is 00:26:11 We got the baby first. then got the marriage and all of that. Yeah, I went for two. But we still haven't had a wedding. I'll tell you that much, and that really affects me. Like, I want a wedding. And, like, I feel like even if it's a backyard wedding, I want, like, I want somewhere where we're celebrating our union.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Yeah. Yeah. And, but he's just like, yeah, we'll get to it. Yeah, we'll get to it. Like, we did it through the courts. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And, like, we did it like this.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Mm-hmm. Like, he proposed April 1st. We got married through the courts April 21st. Oh, really? Yeah. but also like his status was up in the air and we just had to make sure all of that was done
Starting point is 00:26:46 so I'm like all right next year we're having a wedding and then we didn't and I sent him the vendors and I told him like we could get a DJ for free all right I thought him when his chef homies
Starting point is 00:27:04 could provide the catering yeah the vendors yes I had to that all right but let's not it's not about me it's like to Claudia Claria. Hi. What's up, Claudia.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Claudia. Yeah. Okay, you guys are 20 years apart. How old were you when you first started dating? And how old was he when you, it's important to ask. Yes. I was two. I was 21.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Okay. When we started dating. And he was 40? So you can do the math. Yeah, he did. He was 41 and you were 21. Okay, how old are you now? How old are you now?
Starting point is 00:27:43 He's 50. He's never going to do it. She's 30. She's 30. Talk to her, y'all. Oh, you said you had like a stepchild. Was he married before? He was.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Yes. That's what it is. But that's not her fault. It's not. No, it's not her fault. Is he actually legally divorced? That's a good one. Yes.
Starting point is 00:28:09 So he's totally divorced, everything. They have a good co-parenting situation. And everything is smooth. Yeah, they're elderly. Yeah. He doesn't want that. He doesn't want that. He just doesn't want that.
Starting point is 00:28:22 I'm sure. Well, I don't know. I mean, I think it's, he always says it's kind of like Maximo's situation. He says it's like, you know, that we don't need the title and stuff like that. He doesn't want that. I don't know. What about what she wants? Leading me along.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Yeah. He doesn't want to lose house. He already went through that. And most guys that I've known that have been married. married and get a divorce, they don't want to get married again. 99% of them don't want to get married again. They'll be in a relationship, but they don't want to feel like they're tied down again. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:53 But that's not fair to Claudia. No, it's not fair. Really, Claudia, the balls in your court. How so? Because it's up to her now. I mean, dude, look, when guys want something, especially marriage, they'll do it. Well, I think Claudia's- issue is that he's telling her he's going to do it.
Starting point is 00:29:12 It's not like, you're totally fine with saying. like your homies or people say I don't want that label, all of that, but it seems like they're presenting that too. He's telling her he's going to do one thing and she's proven that he's not doing it. So then you look like you're like you're begging him to want you, loki,
Starting point is 00:29:29 because... Exactly. It's already September. He told you it was going to happen this year. Eight years too. And any other case, if somebody tells you that they're going to do something and they don't do it, what do you think of it? I know, but he bought the ring. He bought the ring. How do you know how do you know?
Starting point is 00:29:44 How do you know? How do you know? Because I was there when he bought the ring. Oh, you went with him. How was that process? Why didn't he just do it right there? Outside of the Daniels Jewelers. Don Roberto. Don Roberto's Jullers.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Oh, my God. No. How was the process of getting the ring? Like, was it because you brought it up. He did it. Well, we had had conversations about it. And then we were just shopping one day. And I went to the restroom and he was browsing.
Starting point is 00:30:11 So I just came over and I was like, oh, what are you doing? And he was like, oh, I'm just looking for rings. And so we just, you know, I was trying them on. And I saw one that I really loved. So he was like, okay, let's get it. That doesn't. Maybe that was a proposal? You sure?
Starting point is 00:30:27 No. No. No, are you sure he didn't return it? No, I mean, it's still hiding in the closet, collecting dust. So you know it's in the closet. Yeah, she's in it. Or is. And then we have two babies.
Starting point is 00:30:38 So it was like, he bought the ring. And then he was like, I'll give you time to, like, shed the baby weight. So I shed the baby weight. So I shed the baby. baby wait and then I got pregnant again. So now we're brought to square one. He just wants to date somebody younger. That's it.
Starting point is 00:30:52 No. No, she's young enough. That's it. Fine. No, like she's, that's what I'm saying. He's old. She just wants somebody young in his life. That's it. No, but they have, though. We go to Giovanni and Santa Ana. Giovanni. We are talking to Claudia. She's wondering if she should stay and wait a while till her husband that she wants proposes to her.
Starting point is 00:31:10 It's been 10 years. He's 20 years older. It's not like they have too much time on it. hands. Giovanni, what would you say? I say, I say she got a, there's two things. First of all, she already seen the mileage he got on him, you know. She got, she got him to understand that should be being too much for him, you know, at his age.
Starting point is 00:31:31 But also, also, if she wants that body, dog, she got to let it go. She got to go look for a new young bug, you know, getting her, get her that body. She wants to be janeating. Wait, this is what? What is he saying? He called her an old car. He called him an old car. He called the old man.
Starting point is 00:31:48 He's trying to dirty Mac on the old man. I think he wants a shot. Got it. All right. Jesse. Passing cars are good. Jesse. Patsy are good.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Might not ride for a long time. Maybe you can only like ride them down the street. Only on Sunday. All right. Let's go to Jesse in Riverside. Jesse. Our girl Claudia hid his stuff. She wants to know if her man of about eight, eight years, you said?
Starting point is 00:32:12 Yeah, eight years. is stringing her along or he's actually going to propose like he said that he would okay uh she's he she says that he's gotten her the ring they went to get it a few years ago a couple years ago uh and he said he's going to propose this year it's september though so she just wants to know what how do you call it jesse what's up i think that she should definitely just go ahead and leave the situation alone just for the simple fact like he is bringing her along. He sees probably that she's a good woman.
Starting point is 00:32:47 And, you know, he doesn't want to see anybody else with her. So he's using that ring and just, like, stringing her and stringing her own. Like, he's going to keep doing it. She's not going to get married. She's going to just sit there and wait and wait. And if he does marry her, it's probably going to be like, oh, well, you see, you just had to wait another four more years. But that's a wedding.
Starting point is 00:33:07 She wants a wedding. She wants a big wedding. Or what if it's like, Ronaldo. Remember he said, I need to hear the snap or whatever? The spark. And when that spark happens, that's when I proposed. And then he proposed to the girl this year. The snap gap.
Starting point is 00:33:18 But what if he can't hear the snaps because his hearing aids aren't working? The snap's going to be his knee. That's what it's going to be. Yeah. That's what the other just says, leave me alone. Hey, Claudia, are you down to leave him? Like, Claudia, have you thought about leaving him or is that not an option? No, it's not an option.
Starting point is 00:33:39 I love him too much. Oh, Claudia's a good At least lie to him and tell him You will Why don't you propose to him? Yeah The ring's right there Claudia, would you propose to him?
Starting point is 00:33:52 No, no, no Come on I thought you just wanted to call him your husband Yeah Your knees were good But I know my word I'm not gonna do that Yeah, I'm with Claudia
Starting point is 00:34:05 Don't do that Never have that Because then she's gonna be like Yeah, he only did it because I propose. It's going to be a whole thing. All right. Let's go to Destiny in East L.A.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Destiny in East Lowe's. We're talking to Claudia. Claudia's been with her man. That's 20 years older. I don't know that that matters, but yeah, it matters. They met when she was 21 and he was 41. 41 or 21.
Starting point is 00:34:29 41. 41. 41. 40. She was clubbing. What is he doing at the club at 41? I don't know. Looking for Claudia.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Claudia. Claudia, how did you meet you? him? Through work. What was your work? Old home? Bottle servers, go? I was working for a construction company as a project manager. He was one of the... He worked for another company.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Oh. And by the way, he's a daddy, okay? You better stop. Hey, does he need hearing aids, a cane, or does he have back? He's like all the guys are saying? He's a granddaddy. That's what he is. He's a granddaddy.
Starting point is 00:35:09 And y'all need to cheer with all that, bro. First of all. Thank you. He's 40. No, he's 50. Oh, never mind. Yeah, yeah. Super old.
Starting point is 00:35:19 No, all right. Thank you, Claudia. Thank you for that insight. All right, but we're going to talk to Destiny. So Claudia hit us up. She's been with this guy close to 10 years. She feels like she should be proposed to. She loves him with all her heart.
Starting point is 00:35:31 They have two kids. He's 20 years older and tells her like, yeah, we'll get married. Matter of fact, I'll do it this year. She's even seen the ring, but he just hasn't done it. Is she ruining the surprise that's about to happen? Or is he stringing her along and not going to do it? It's been so many years that he said that he would do it. Destiny, what would you tell our girl, Claudia?
Starting point is 00:35:51 Hi, everybody. Good morning. I think Concrete said it best. It's in her court. So she really, it's a big deal to her and she really wants the marriage. She should be able to put like some sort of ultimatum and be like, hey, like, it's something that I want. I know she just said that she doesn't want to leave him, but even just putting that little bit of pressure,
Starting point is 00:36:13 I think should do enough to have him reconsider and not want to lose her. But too much pressure might be bad for his heart. Bro, too much pressure. She buried two of his children. Yeah. What more does he want? She what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Did she have two kids? Yeah. Children are more of a commitment than marriage. You can get rid of marriage. You can't just get rid of your children. Like children are like... Totally not. Hopefully not.
Starting point is 00:36:40 We can decide to be president or not, which is unfortunate. True. KPWR, HD1, H2N, L.D1, Los Angeles, Power 106, Ellie's number one for hip-hop. We are inside the homie help line. Daisy and Bakersfield, I'm going to you. We're helping out the girl, Claudia. She hit us up because she's been with her man for about 10 years, close to 10 years, about 8. But what does it matter?
Starting point is 00:37:02 You know, what does time matter? What is age matter? Yeah, he's 20 years older than her. What's a couple decades? He was in his 40s, and then now he's in his 50s. these and she's 30. This was all back to the future at the theater. He was alive in the 70s.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Yes. Yeah, you're right. All of these things are true. He was like 30 and then they saw the, this is a new thing called the internet. Eyes on the prize. We were talking about their proposal. Should they he,
Starting point is 00:37:28 she feels like he should propose. He said that he would this year. She's like, it's September. Is this what I'm going to do it? Di'A de los Mertos or what? He might be. Oh. No, legit.
Starting point is 00:37:39 That is going on. Y'all can make the old joke. I make the old joke. I bet he has it all planned out perfectly for December 31st. She's over here panicking. Oh, the last day. And Claudia's like, look, I'll take any type of proposal. He told me he's intimidated by what I wanted.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I did say I wanted a nice view with like balloons, flowers. I want a camera guy there. If you ask her what's her dream proposal, she's going to big it up. Yeah, of course. I thought I was going to get proposed to like in the novellas. Like I'm on the balcony. I don't have one. one, but I'm on a balcony.
Starting point is 00:38:11 Jorge comes with a mariachi and horses. Yes. Yes. That, to me, it was like the dream proposal, right? You had like two short in the background? Two short? I don't know what it was. True life crew.
Starting point is 00:38:26 That was two life crew. Yeah, same thing. He proposes to two life crew is crazy. But what I got was just as beautiful, like on Easter with the golden egg, you know, all of that. Really, really beautiful. So I guess it shouldn't be that intimidating if you ask. You got the egg. You're like, where's a mariachi?
Starting point is 00:38:47 True. Like this. True. There's always Val-R-Nuel. There's always Val-R-Nuel. Okay? You can always have hope. She said she'll take any kind of proposal at this point, though.
Starting point is 00:38:58 That she's down for whatever he brings and he's like, I'm not bringing nothing right now, girl. Should she believe him that he is going to propose to her? Or is she being strung along? on Daisy, Daisy and Bakersfield. Talk to us. What would you talk, Claudia? I think she just needs to, like, I know that she just said that she's, that it's not negotiable, she wouldn't leave, and she loves the guy, but I'm speaking from experience.
Starting point is 00:39:24 I was with someone for 15 years. We, you know, talked about marriage. We clearly were not on the same page. Finally, when I dropped it and I said, all right, you know what, clearly I'm not going anywhere, I'm just going to stick it out and marriage isn't in the cards for me. Two years later, they proposed, let me, you know, plan the entire wedding, and in the end, they ended up telling me that marriage was just not in the book for them because they didn't want it. They did it for me.
Starting point is 00:39:53 They like faked it the whole time because it was for you and then just realized, like, I can't do this. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, it is what it is. They don't believe in marriage and I'm not going to knock them for that, but in the end, no matter how much love you have, if you want something completely different from your partner, you're not going to be able to look past it. I know that some people can, but it doesn't sound like she can. And either she quits nagging at him and takes him for who he is, and if he ends up proposing to her down the line, then great. But she's going to have to also, you know, face reality that may not be in the cart for them, and that's what she needs to figure out. willing to accept that if he never gets there.
Starting point is 00:40:36 That's harsh. Hey, so are you single now or like what happened after? Like, is there like a like a like a rainbow at the end of this? Like then you found the love of your life and now you're married and everything's great. No, I haven't found the love of my life just yet. I mean, but the breakup is pretty recent. But I mean, that's something I'm speaking from experience. I will not say anything bad about this person.
Starting point is 00:40:59 Ultimately, we wanted to different things. But it was different enough for me, not to be able to, you know, stick it out anymore. You have to be yourself. Would you ever get married again? She's never been married. No. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:41:13 She wanted to get married more than she wanted the guy. No, they ultimately proposed to her. Yeah. And they planned it. Before the wedding, they said, hey, I can't do this. Greg, welcome to the show. Good morning. There's probably that one guy.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Greg's here, by the way. Love to marry her. But y'all are talking over each other. What's up? Like I said, for Clyde, there's probably a guy out there that wants to marry you with you, your children, the whole beautiful thing, and you're over here, hopes and dreaming, you know, that this guy's going to propose for you. When there's another guy out there that's willing to take you in with your children and give you the most beautiful wedding, but you're over here hoping and dreaming that this guy's going to do it. And it's probably not going to happen. True.
Starting point is 00:41:53 But I see, it's like, dang, I gave this guy two kids. Yeah, she's going to. Yeah. And he's dead. There's guys out there working at a job and they never been manager. and they're still working there. Well, should it be that that's the deal breaker? It depends.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Should it be that that's the deal breaker? It depends if she wants to be married more than she wants him. Also, just the act of marriage? Yeah, like some people's dream, that's part of their life plan. It's like, I want to be married so bad. Not that it doesn't matter who it is, but that supersedes my love for this person or my want to be with them. I don't want to speak for her. We'll ask her.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Yeah. But I think it may be that. she just wants to know if it's yes you're going to do it or no you're not yeah and she will adjust accordingly claudia if he tells you i don't want to i don't want to get married are you going to be okay with that yeah so then what's a no that's a no and then you wouldn't leave him she doesn't want to i don't know i mean i do want marriage for sure yeah but i also want him yeah yeah so he just needs to cross the bridge yeah if she could just not both. That'll be great.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Claudia, give us his number. Calling him. I know, but when you... I can call him. You want to call him? You're not down. You're not down. I can call him and he can speak for himself.
Starting point is 00:43:15 Okay, let's call him. Let's call him. Here we go. We should have started there. Give us his phone number. Oh, no, no. Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Oh, she can do it a lot if she wants to. It's her daddy. It's her daddy. All right. Grab, grab his phone number, please. We're trying to figure out if she, her man stringing her along or if it's going to happen because he's telling her it's going to happen this year what you think which holiday Thanksgiving the families around Halloween what's the old people
Starting point is 00:43:44 holiday no she doesn't want it with dream veterans it's not about what she wants anymore so anything it's about what he's planning like Christmas what if he's planning on it doing it today we just ruin it that'll be sick no it wouldn't sick in a bad way the next time we got Karen and Elserino Karen Karen so when it comes to our girl Claudia she's trying to figure out whether her man of eight years is actually going to propose like he says he is, or if she's just being strung along. You've actually been strung along yourself, Karen. And you're saying that, no, she should wait it out.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Oh, my goodness. I don't think he's stringing her along. The holidays are coming up. You guys have beautiful babies. And I think you just had a baby, right? Yeah, they've had kids to you. Okay, okay. So I believe the holidays are coming up.
Starting point is 00:44:37 You know, he knows that that's what you want. He already has the ring. Maybe just be a little bit more patient. Did that happen to you? Oh, yeah. So me and my man, we've been together for 15 years. But we were teenagers when we got together. We have two babies.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Our youngest, he just turned two. We both want to get married, but, you know, we're not there yet. You know, like life is happening. bailed are happening and and it also depends like what kind of marriage do you guys want
Starting point is 00:45:12 you know like the commitment the long term we've already been together long term like I've married I feel like at this point is like a label that's what marriage is in general
Starting point is 00:45:22 yeah marriage is long term I've never heard of a short term marriage I mean but there's two there's a lot of short term marriage and Kim Kardashian I have 48 hours 70s but marriage is not in like when you think of marriage
Starting point is 00:45:33 you don't think of marriage of being like there's different terms like oh it's 32 months 72 months I'm in a three year marriage yeah there's no lease on marriage you know what I'm saying if you get a divorce because it just didn't work out but that there's no short term marriage can I trade this one in
Starting point is 00:45:47 there isn't but unfortunately like statistically there's a lot more short term marriages than there's I understand that people get a divorce what I'm saying is that when you think of marriage you don't go in thinking hey so we have 72 months right yeah of course not no that's not the way it works what was you saying which, you know, it's like commitment and like being committed, sometimes it outweighs other people's marriage. Well, better just like tilt that to us part, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:46:16 Yeah, I know, but that's usually when both parties agree, right? Like, hey, we're just going to be committed to each other. Yeah. But when one person wants to be married, that changes everything. 100%. So she wants to know what she should do. Dude, there's women that say no to engagements. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Conquick feels very strong. Yeah. She wants to know. Is he stringing me along or will he propose to me? Okay. Do I need to wait it out or should I leave now? All right. We have Andrea.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Did we just go to Andrea? No, Andrea in Van Nuys. Andrea, talk to us, Andrea. What would you tell Claudia? I think she just needs to. I mean, she's already been with the guy for eight years. And, you know, what's three more months? She should wait and wait and see, you know?
Starting point is 00:47:00 I mean, maybe he's planning something, you know, in the, you know, and, um, and she also has to think, like, is getting married more important than, you know, losing the person you love? Oh. You know, you know, you have to put things out of balance, you know, and be like, what's more important, you know? Yeah. That's what I don't know.
Starting point is 00:47:21 What is three more months? If he told her, like, hey, it'll happen in this next year. Yeah. What is three more months? True. It is only three months. But I now just thought of what she said, kind of the, like, the opposite of it. It's like.
Starting point is 00:47:33 is not getting married worth losing the person that he loves. Yeah, it goes both ways. You know what I'm saying? If they love each other, they would want to get married. All right. Well, look at us. Just as stuck as Claudia is. Hey, Claudia, your man's not answering us.
Starting point is 00:47:51 He said he was trying to call, like, he's trying to answer. He's trying to tell you everything he tells he's a lie. Is he going to call us in two years? Are you lying to us? Did he say he's going to call today? And we have to wait until the lift off with Justin. Tell him not to respond. I did.
Starting point is 00:48:15 You see? All right. Here we go. Claudia, my little, Clarkie. You guys lying. What's three more months? You've been waiting eight years. What's three more months, all right?
Starting point is 00:48:25 He's lying. Leave him alone. I believe him. I believe it. Yes. Four scores and eight, you know. Here's going. Scroll.
Starting point is 00:48:33 with all me. There's a trend right now. Yes. That's going to take you back. Way back. Way back. Not that way back, bro. Tampo.
Starting point is 00:48:42 So the release date of when this song was released, 2016. Black Beatles in the city. Be back immediately to confiscate the money. Fibes. Okay. Sorry, I'm frozen. The mannequin challenge. It's making a comeback.
Starting point is 00:49:06 You're yelling into a mic. Is it? I'm jacked on my coffee right now. Sorry. Get unjacked. Go drink water. Un Jack, I didn't say Jacob. I said, Unjack, he knows.
Starting point is 00:49:15 You still said it. We need that in the clear. We need that in the clear. Really? Yes, but the Vatican challenge is making its comeback on TikTok. They're trying to originally started on Vine. That's how old this trend. Oh, did it?
Starting point is 00:49:29 It was on Vine. On Vine? It was on Vine. It was on Vine. I don't know. I don't think it was on Vine. I don't think so. That's where I originally.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Originally. Where were you in 2016? I had just graduated. school. Yep. And this trend was so big that it went number one on Billboard because of the trend. Okay. Everybody was just standing still.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Yeah. People worldwide were doing it. Your favorite NFL teams? Your favorite MLB teams. I remember that. This is around the time people started finding out that putting your music on social media can make it go. Boost it up.
Starting point is 00:49:57 All the way up. No. I feel like that you guys are dating it way too far back. Me too. No, 2016 was different. That was really like before streaming. Like that was before like Apple Music and. and all that was like really big.
Starting point is 00:50:12 They were around, but it wasn't that big. It wasn't that big. Like streaming and stuff like that? Yeah, bro. Things have moved fast. It was 2016. I don't think it was 2016. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Did you look out? But I just remember doing it, and I know that when we did it, we posted on Instagram. Yeah, it wasn't fine. Yeah, it was right. Instagram was definitely right. I remember we did it was super tight. We did it at a show, and we had the artists that were in the show also do it. Like in every green room where, like,
Starting point is 00:50:40 It was super tight. Yeah, yeah. But, you know, I'm sure. Anyways, that's neither here nor there. This trend is back because now the kids are doing it. Yes. Yes. I don't know how it reemerged on TikTok, but it has.
Starting point is 00:50:53 I feel like they're being lazy and don't want to come up with new trends. That's what it is. They can't be creative anymore. So they're coming back to all trends. Next is going to be the Harlem Shake. And they're going to be like, oh, look at this new trend that we're doing. Which Harlem Shake? There's two.
Starting point is 00:51:05 There's the one we know. The shoulder pops. Right? The Harder shake. And then there's the one that was like super. There's two island shakes. Okay, so here's my thing when I'm still like hating on the younger gen. We just hated on them for creating their new slang, their own slang.
Starting point is 00:51:20 And now we're hating on them for doing something that we did. I just feel like you're going to hate on them, which is unfortunate. I think it's cool. We're like the old heads like, you damn kids, you don't know what you're talking about. That's you. No, it is me. No key. It's you and you're the closest to them.
Starting point is 00:51:37 That's only you. Did you guys ever, you guys did the trend? I did it. I did it once. With who? With who? How? I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:51:43 Honestly, someone was like, yo, we're going to do this train. I think it was in a studio. And then we just froze. And I was like, okay. I'm moving.
Starting point is 00:51:51 What am I doing? What am I doing this? We're fun. They're fun. You're fun? Do you? Do you have to do it? I don't think I did it.
Starting point is 00:51:59 I don't remember seeing other people doing it at like the club and stuff and getting phoma like, at the club? It was a video of like the club doing it. I was like, I wish I was doing that. Or like in the club. like people's jobs and stuff
Starting point is 00:52:11 I never did it I just got FOMO I would see it a lot but I got FOMO I'm like oh that could be me Well you don't have FOMO any longer because now you could do it this day and age I do think that the kids are up in the Annie Like I've seen a few where it's cheerleading squats And they're in different formations
Starting point is 00:52:27 And they're just frozen that's cool The Pyramids and stuff like that Yeah so that feels pretty tight Like the way that they're handling it Or like they're in motion as if they're doing something But it's frozen so That takes a lot of core strength We need to do our own right here in the studio
Starting point is 00:52:41 No, I thought it's bad And I thought why are we? No, we need to show these kids up Show them how it's really done Oh, they're already starting They're frozen All right It doesn't work our radio guy
Starting point is 00:52:50 Thank you for that That's the challenge A new challenge is one That you could tell your kids Like hey I did that too I remember that Or thank you, you're welcome type of deal right
Starting point is 00:52:58 And big of Black Beatles But that's a great song Yes, 2016 I'm all for it Look we have tickets To go to Universal Studios Hollywood Maximum Vic You can unfreeze now
Starting point is 00:53:08 The song's not even playing. I know. It doesn't wear in freeze now. All right. Thank you. Universal Studios Hollywood, Halloween horn. I'd ticket.
Starting point is 00:53:15 We got four of them for you to enter a world of relentless terror. Select nights now to November 2nd. Conquer, you went. It was really scary? Really scary. What was your favorite maze? Frightening. What's like your maze you recommend?
Starting point is 00:53:28 Well, I like Fanaf. Fanaff? Yeah. Frieneff. Yeah. Five nights of Freddy. Oh, five nights of Freddy. Oh, Fanax.
Starting point is 00:53:35 That is what it's called. That is what it's called. The scarecrow, I believe it's a scarecrow. That one's fired. Did you go to that one? Did you do the WWE one? Oh, true. That one was good, too.
Starting point is 00:53:46 I bet. Okay, can you tell us what happens? What do you mean? Like, what happened? Is it Undertaker? Is WWE? Who was it? You don't want I want to tell you?
Starting point is 00:53:55 Please. But I want people to buy tickets and go themselves. He doesn't even know those superstars at them. Was it doing to Cal? Honestly, I don't, I don't, I'm not really familiar with, yes. I'm not. Oh. I'm not familiar with the wrestlers.
Starting point is 00:54:11 That's a great way to flip it. I know. I would tell you, but you know that would be right. Yeah, but it was actually pretty good. I actually liked it. Who is it built after? Bray Wyatt, the White family. It's pretty good, though.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Con was in there looking for Hulk Colgan. Hey, where's the rock at? Hey, where are you at, brother? John C. Something. Okay. All right. So we have those tickets, but here's what you got to do.
Starting point is 00:54:36 In order to win these tickets, you got to tell. We're going to read you. I'm going to read you like I have a cup right now with a bunch of little papers in there. And each of them holds a scary story. Oh my God. A real one from one of our lives. So you are going to guess who in the crew went through this real life scary story, okay? Is it Greg?
Starting point is 00:55:01 Is it Angie? Is it Maximo? Is it Vic? Is it Maximo? or is it me? Lettie. All right. We got out.
Starting point is 00:55:10 There's two maximal. She said maximum twice. I'm sorry. I'm scared now. She started to see two maximums. No, you deserve me to get your head. No, you deserve me to get your name correct. I apologize for that.
Starting point is 00:55:27 I apologize for that. I'm sorry. Sometimes I call my kids David Hore Luis. It's the whole thing. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Is there two maxims in the way? room announced.
Starting point is 00:55:37 I really said. Then I whispered. I'm not in her eyesight. That's why I'm like behind her dogs. Yeah, it's like in the concert when you buy the tickets. Yeah. On the back of the stage. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:47 I'm sorry. Those are the tickets that I have. Concrete. You can pick concrete. I'm just going to start this way. Concrete. You can't see me. That's the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:55:59 Maximo. Angie. Greg. Okay. Let's go to Alberta. I said that so confidently to like, All right. Now I'm the call her. No.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Alberto. Alberto. Yes. What about, Alberto? Good morning. Good morning. Are you ready to get scared? Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:56:16 So we have Universal Studios Hollywood, Halloween Horror Night's tickets for you. You could win four. But you got to tell me, and guess correctly, who from the crew went through this real life scary story? Are you ready? Yes. All right. I'm going to give you a little bit about the story. I went on a date with my partner.
Starting point is 00:56:39 Okay. And the place we went to felt like it had bad energy. Afterwards, I would get lightheaded and nauseous randomly and felt sick. Like if that place cursed me. Who was it? Who from the crew? Five. Uh, four, three, two, one.
Starting point is 00:57:07 Greg. Yes. What? Yeah, he's funny to do. Because Greg's always on dates. Oh, like him away. And it's a partner. Everybody has a wife for a deal.
Starting point is 00:57:24 Hey, that was great. That's great. What? Either the spots scared him or the girl did. Wow. Let's go. Alberto Panera. Hey, you deserve these tickets.
Starting point is 00:57:36 Yeah, you do. Congratulations. And Greg, you got to tell me what's happening. What happened? Hold on. Go ahead. I went to this place that has... Just explain it, bro.
Starting point is 00:57:45 You don't have to do it in a scary way. Oh, okay. No. I went to a place and it's known to have blurry, very bad energy because what it has inside of it, it has like corpse and pictures of... Yeah, and it has like a lot of like replicas of like people that... Okay. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:58:08 You sound like my seven-year-old. I know. It scares me every single time because there was this one specific room, right? And it's based off of a funeral. Okay. And I walked into that room and they have everything from like when they open the bodies and clean the bodies out. Yeah, like outside seems. And then in the corner there was a little black dress for like a little kid.
Starting point is 00:58:28 And it was like the creepiest thing ever. And I was like, oh, that's weird. But then there's a window and you look through the window and there's a fake funeral going on for the kid. Okay. And once I looked into that like window, it just hits. my chest and I needed to throw up and almost passed out. And I was like, get me out of this room. In that room.
Starting point is 00:58:46 In that room. And I ran out and I was lightheaded. I turned pale and the girl that I was dating at the time was like, what's wrong with you? Totally left you after that. No, she did. And I was like, there's something bad in that room. There is something bad. Bad energy.
Starting point is 00:58:57 There's nothing. Another lady walked into that room a second after me. Same thing happened to her, right? She was like, this feels weird. This feels disgusting. And the whole time I was like, I'm getting out of this building. I left the building for that whole week I was sick and throwing up and every time I would think about it or say something about it my hairs would stand up my body would feel. So do you think like the energy followed you?
Starting point is 00:59:19 The energy had to follow me. Yeah, you picked something up. I like I couldn't sleep at night. It was terrible. I was like I'm never going back to that place ever again. I don't want to be around. It was a museum? Yes, it's a museum based off all that.
Starting point is 00:59:30 It's in Hollywood. Yes, it's in Hollywood. So maybe don't go to these things because I think all of that has energy, you know? Like you're kind of like inviting it at some point. Congress is like, let's go to us. Let's go where everybody dies. Let's go. No, thanks.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Because, like, you walk in, like, you really, they're like, oh, this is kind of scary, right? But you don't think about the energy. All right, your time's up. All right. So, let's go. That's scary. Let's go to another caller. It was not dead.
Starting point is 00:59:56 Power 106, who's this? What city are you from? Hello, I'm the city from La Pente. You're from the city from La Pente. What's your name? My name is Sarah. My name is Sarah. Sarah?
Starting point is 01:00:09 Sarah, put the radio down and just listen to me in your ear. So we have Universal Studios, Hollywood tickets, up for grabs. Are you ready to win them? Yes. All right. Check this out, baby girl. We're going to tell you a scary story, a true life scary story from one of us in here.
Starting point is 01:00:27 And you've got to tell us who the scary story is from. Is it concrete? Is it Vic? Is it Maximo? Is it Angie? Is it Greg or is it me? Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Okay, so I have it right here. Why do I have ready? I don't like that. That's intense. Yeah. Well, that's not. I don't know. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:47 Okay. The vacation from hell. While in Mexico, are you laughing? Why are you laughing? It's scary. Sorry, sorry. It's supposed to be scary.
Starting point is 01:01:03 While in Mexico, my grandma's appliances turned on with no electricity who did this happen to poor grandma no electricity
Starting point is 01:01:15 I know that happened in Mexico who did this happen to five four three
Starting point is 01:01:25 what was the names again oh my oh my oh that's not the right answer Nathan
Starting point is 01:01:36 Nathan Nathan and Lake Elsinore that's crazy who's there hello Nathan do you know
Starting point is 01:01:42 Do you know our names? Yeah. All right, perfect. Who told that story? Whose story is that? You want me to read it to you again? Yeah, I read it one more time. All right.
Starting point is 01:01:54 The vacation from hell. While in Mexico, my grandma's appliances turned on with no electricity. Who did that happen to? Angie. Is there a reason why, Angie? I know. It just sounds like. like a it sounds like a female
Starting point is 01:02:15 it sounds like a female that's not a diss to you IG hey bro you're wrong it's concrete it's dark it sounds like a female good mischief misdirection
Starting point is 01:02:32 a male would never say appliances no I wrote that God what happened in Mexico yeah explain it so we were vacation She didn't end upik Nayarit.
Starting point is 01:02:45 And my grandma was doing Piochito on me. And if you guys don't know what Puyito is. Little pinches. Yeah, she's just pinching my hand. Yeah, it's like a little massage almost. And I fall asleep and I'm, you know, like I fall asleep in her bed. And my mom's in there as well. My cousins are on the other room.
Starting point is 01:03:01 And all of a sudden, like at 3, 4 o'clock in the morning, the blender goes on, but it was disconnected. And it went and it happened twice. How did you know it's disconnected? Because my grandma got up and she went to. She checked? She went to go check. She checked.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Wait. When she went to go check, was it still going on? Yes. She had to turn it off. Wow. She had to turn it off. And then she turned off. She came back to bed and then it turned on again.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Oh, hell. Okay, okay. You made your poor grandma blow? Well, yeah. Yeah, he's a kid. How would I go? I was like seven or eight or something? How did the blender sound?
Starting point is 01:03:37 Just a child. Just a child. It's his scary story. I know. It's his scary story. When she went to go check, Khan, you were in the bed alone? By myself. Well, my mom was there too.
Starting point is 01:03:49 Oh, okay, okay. Because I was going to say, maybe that's what the spirit wanted. No, I was sleeping in the middle. Oh, my God. I was sleeping in the middle. Establticeo? True. Okay, okay, because sometimes they want the kid alone to take the spirit of the unbaptized kid.
Starting point is 01:04:01 Oh, no, no, they don't want this one. They don't want this, demuno. No, right, right, right. That's great. That's great, though. All right. All right. We're going to do this tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:04:11 More scary stories. You guess who the scary story happened to for tickets to go to Universal Studios, Hollywood, okay? There we go. All right, we got Cheez-May. Yeah, we do, you guys. And I have a crazy Chees-May about Rihanna because she's about to give birth to Dental Washington Jr. What? And A-Zap-Rokie is okay with it.
Starting point is 01:04:31 What? I know I said A-Zap. A-Zap. A-Zap, Rok-A-Zap. A-Zab-Rach. A-Zap, Rok-E. He brought up her S's and her Zs get messed up sometimes. Her Zs or Bs or Gs or L.
Starting point is 01:04:44 No, her Zs and her S's in her S's. Here is that. Yeah. When she heard the TIA song, she was like, A-ZAP. Oh, he said pizza. No, it's my Z's in my husband. Say pizza. Pizza.
Starting point is 01:04:54 One time, one time, Horito was, like, acting, like, a little bit, like, like, he was doing a lot. He was fussy. And then Angie's like, oh, he's so fuzzy. She was like, she been fussy, fuzzy. She's called it pizza. Dehalla. Dehalla. Dehle.
Starting point is 01:05:10 That cheese, me. Did you not hear where she's. said? Yeah, A-Zap is okay. No, Rihanna is about to have Denzel Washington Jr. You mean cheese, man. Densel.
Starting point is 01:05:20 I don't know how A-Sab-Raggy is. It's a theme guy. It's the same guy, A-Sav-Rocke. Okay. You said it right. Okay, A-Sav-Rocke, he's saying that, you know what? We are naming our baby,
Starting point is 01:05:34 me and Rihanna's baby, Denzel, regardless of the gender if it's a boy or a girl. She's pregnant right now. Yeah. He says he wants a girl. Denzel. Yeah, might be a girl named Denzel.
Starting point is 01:05:45 Wow. And he's totally fine, but I'm thinking, I'm like, you're going to have a baby girl named Denzel? Yes. I feel like it's fine. Celebrity kids always have the weirdest names anyway. True. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:05:56 So I think it's funny, but also hilarious because I feel like Denzel just like, I don't know what, he did some mind control over ASAP Rocky because he stole his watch in that same interview. Yes, yeah, he did. And then he told him now you've got to name your kid after me. Like he's just like punking him. And you're right, you're right. He did plant that little seat in his head.
Starting point is 01:06:14 I'm a fan of him. I think Danzel's a beautiful name for a son. That's what I'm just saying. I think that's... Oh, man. You got to. So we're going to name the son, Denzel. All right.
Starting point is 01:06:26 Hold on. Imagine being Rihanna. Yeah, like, now I got to name my kid, Denzel, because you made a little he-he-haha with Denzel Washington. They're in the same movie together. Yeah. The art. The art.
Starting point is 01:06:37 And A. San Brachie. But come on. I know. You're going to choose a baby name like that. Like this is, this is for sure like a bro moment. Oh, yeah. But now he has to follow through.
Starting point is 01:06:48 This is how Nino's get made. Yes. The dad just goes out, hangs out. It's like, oh, you want to be my kid's Nino? Yeah. And then it's like, hey, babe. Yeah. Met him out of a bar.
Starting point is 01:06:58 Super cool. Awesome guy. Pay for the round. Yep. He's that money. It's Denzel. Yeah. You name your daughter after one of your homies?
Starting point is 01:07:06 Oh, your homies. No. Victoria. You can name my daughter Christian. After Christian Gutierrez right here is concrete. Oh, Christina? No, Christina. No, not Christina.
Starting point is 01:07:16 Christian. No, it's true. Don't change it. There's a girl's name. There's a girl name. There's a girl name. Yeah. I've never met a girl.
Starting point is 01:07:23 You do it, Greg? All that concrete is, like, he's put you on. You're on the comedy shows. No, he put himself on. He put himself on. He's great. Humble King. Humble King. Denzel would say the same thing about his up.
Starting point is 01:07:33 No. You wouldn't? Why? You didn't like the name? Christian. No. What's after? Look his little face.
Starting point is 01:07:39 I'll just name or concrete. do the right thing I don't think you would I don't think you would yeah it's just y'all choosing the name before you even like discussed with me and maybe it's like a yeah maybe but he's like yeah even if we have a girl
Starting point is 01:07:55 Denzel maybe he's really stoked about it because he was talking about it and he's all like you know imagine the first girl named Denzel I don't want to I'm telling you Denzel got mind control of Ray Tapperaki right now And you can't let them Zelle down. Yeah, this doesn't surprise me because I had a friend.
Starting point is 01:08:13 He convinced his wife where if he got enough, like, signatures on this Facebook post, he could name their son Optimus Prime. How do you sign a Facebook post? It was like some, like, there's a poll thing or whatever. Oh, yeah, like one of those. And he ended up winning, and she agreed to it. She was like 100%, but they ended up just calling him Optimus instead of the Prime. It's a cool. It's a cool name.
Starting point is 01:08:37 Optimists get down from there. Optimus. She went through with it though. She was like, look, like it happened and that's it. Yeah. It blew up. Yeah. Oh, gosh. I think I've seen that.
Starting point is 01:08:48 The Optimus one? Yeah, a lot of times about naming it. It's a thing because it has to be a two-person thing. And often, like, there's like a toss-up sometimes. I think my sister wanted to name one of my niece is Phoenix. Or my niece, Phoenix. That's a nice name. And her man wanted to name in Brooklyn because he loves Brooklyn.
Starting point is 01:09:03 Never been there, nothing. Oh, okay. Yeah. And so it was between Phoenix and Brooklyn. And Brooklyn won. Friklin. What? Mix them.
Starting point is 01:09:12 Mix them both. Phoenix is a nice name though. Yeah. Yeah. That happens. How did you name your kids? You just had the right away because you're dudes or what? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:22 Pretty much. Oh yeah. You got a junior. Yeah. Did Daniela fight you on Max? No. What about? That was established.
Starting point is 01:09:28 What do you mean? Damn, that was established. Yeah. Because it was like my nickname. So it just worked out for it to be like a me-nie-meaning me. What about? What about? What about Emmy?
Starting point is 01:09:39 Emmy? Yeah, how did you guys come up with that? For me, I like the name because of like an Emmy Award. And then she says she liked it because J.Lo's kid had that name. Oh, okay. Yeah. So you guys both likes it. They're all biblical.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Yeah, but like who chose or like how did you choose? Did Nikki go through that? No, we both kind of chose it. Yeah, yeah, we both. And so it's Malacadra oldest. And then Caleb. And then we got Cricito, which is junior to me. And then we got Maya Dio.
Starting point is 01:10:07 dream. Wow. Maya. A dream. Maya. Yeah, Maya middle name dream, yeah. That's in the Bible?
Starting point is 01:10:14 No, no, not that one. Oh, I'm like, they're all people. Wait, hold on. No, and Maya means actual dream. Yeah, Maya means dream in like Nordic or something like that. Oh, okay. So she's dream dream,
Starting point is 01:10:25 Levy. Very white. Wow. Junior, because what are the ones? They're all juniors. They're all named after the men of my life. Oh. David's name after his dad.
Starting point is 01:10:33 Jorge, Jorge, Jorge, and then Luis after my dad. Wait, so you don't name none of them? You didn't name none of them? Thank you. She just realized that I get to name the girl. Oh, okay. That I know I'm going to have. Luisito and Jorge.
Starting point is 01:10:48 Jorge. What? What? Say something. I'm just saying. They're waiting for it. I'm just saying they got senior names. They do.
Starting point is 01:10:57 I agree. Well, their name. Jorge is a very mad name. Jorge. What were the names that you wanted? Like, that you wanted to choose. I didn't even get to. I wanted a girl.
Starting point is 01:11:08 If you could. Like how you said, she just held them for nine months. If you couldn't. What? I say you just held them for nine months. That's all. Oh,
Starting point is 01:11:15 I don't know how we're flipping this. I know. Because real life, it hurts. If it was up to you, what would have been? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:11:22 I would have probably, I wanted to name even my oldest after my dad. So like, to me, and so I just eventually got that. But you don't have like any name that you liked that you would.
Starting point is 01:11:29 For a boy. I don't mind that they're named after the men in my life. That's nice. Anyway, Wait, let's please move on. But yeah, the girl was supposed to be named Amara, but I'll never have Amara. So if you want the name for one of your kids, yeah, I got it because I liked, like in Spanish, Amara, like, she'll love.
Starting point is 01:11:47 Yeah, Amara. Amara, like, she will love. Yeah, and then I also like Tupac, and I flip Tupac Amaru to Amara. Wow. And then also, I love the water, and there's Mott in there. Wow. That's amazing. There's so much meaning, but does matter anymore if there's no baby to give it to you.
Starting point is 01:12:04 All right. My dog's name. How did we get here? Angie, there's other stories. We can't even do them anymore. No. We don't want to make this about me. I named my dog Civic.
Starting point is 01:12:16 Thanks, great. Civic. Civic SI Hatsback. So random. His full name. Do you have your kids' names? Me? No.
Starting point is 01:12:24 Maybe I was thinking like my first Barbie's name was Teresa. I'm like maybe if I have a celebrity. Yeah. Oh my God. The Signora Teresa. Teresa. I said tortillas It's just a manor.
Starting point is 01:12:38 No letter B. Yeah. If it was a dude. He'll come out working hard as hell. Exactly. If it was a boy, would name after, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:12:45 I don't know. Tomas or something. Desol. That's. He's being. Oh, wait, I don't get it. He's making a racist.
Starting point is 01:12:56 Oh, indigenous. No, indigenous like Sochi. That's what I would name my daughter. Yeah. Sochi is a, yeah. Chino's indigenous. And by the way, Maximo looks way more indigenous than what he's trying to. No, that's not why you can do the joke. No, it's not. No, it's not. I get a pass. You don't. You do not. You do not. Just because you look like it could have been in Apocalyptic. Does it not mean you could have been in it. Oh, God. I have a pass to the end word. I can say it. What? Big, there's a lot going down, right? Oh, yeah. Look, LeBron is a great Laker, right, guys? You guys would agree? Okay. But not great enough, apparently. Whoa. Somebody agrees with Chukon because apparently he's not great enough.
Starting point is 01:13:36 Because former NBA champ and ex-Lakers head coach Byron Scott was asked if LeBron was worthy of getting a statue outside of crypto. And this is what he said. No. No, no statue. You know, one championship, six, seven years. But I think if he gets another one, then he has a chance. But right now, if you look at the players that have statues in front of the Crypto.com, these are lone lifers. In front of the Crypto.com.
Starting point is 01:14:01 I agree So do you guys think if LeBron wins another title That he'll earn a statue Or no matter what He's not getting one Does Fisher have a statue? No
Starting point is 01:14:12 No Yeah there's a new ones He has four Five with Kobe So no Does Robert O? Powell?
Starting point is 01:14:19 Powell does not No No He deserves a way more than Powell I mean Wait more than LeBron Pau does Yeah
Starting point is 01:14:26 Yeah I mean damn The coach does Phil Jackson Bill Jackson Yeah, you're right. But they're not as big as name as LeBron. Robert Ory, five rings with different teams.
Starting point is 01:14:38 And I guess that's what happens when you don't stay on the team long enough to build something like that. Yeah, I was going to say as a non-Laker fan, right, I feel like it's weird to get like a LeBron statue. I would think it'd be more in Cleveland where he's from. Yeah, but then he also left Cleveland. Yeah. So put one in Miami. No, I think he'll definitely. Oh, but he gave them.
Starting point is 01:14:58 He gave him, yeah. He brought like the championship. He gave the city like. life again in sports. I think he'll definitely get a statue in Cleveland because he was like his rookie year was there. He's from Ohio originally. But he's also one of the greatest players like ever, like period, like at the top five at least in the sport of all time. They don't care about that.
Starting point is 01:15:19 What have you done for us? Yeah. That's the argument to be like, well, what? Great is cool or whatever. What did you do for us to get was one championship. Whoopty-doo. That's kind of how us Laker fans are, unfortunately. And it was not even.
Starting point is 01:15:31 We don't even count that champion. Real Laker fans don't go. Don't get me started. We don't count that championship. Don't get me started on that one. The bubble championship? Nobody counted. I did.
Starting point is 01:15:42 Some of the players that even won it in the Lakers say that one doesn't count. You can't say that the homie got arrested during that championship. It counts for him. The parade. The unofficial parade where everybody just went to downtown L.A. at night. And there was even a guy in a bubble because it was COVID era. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Everybody was on big and people. I lived that. I was right there. I saw the homies zoom by in a scooter and then he got arrested a couple of minutes later. Oh, really? That was real to him.
Starting point is 01:16:07 It doesn't count, man. Doesn't count. So the Rogers World Series doesn't count either? What? The championship world series doesn't count either? Don't do it con. Don't do it con. Don't buy him to his stuff.
Starting point is 01:16:16 Don't. See? See? What you said? No. No. But hey, we got one after. Yeah, we got another one.
Starting point is 01:16:23 All right, let me tell you the, all the figures that have statues outside of crypto. Of course, Kobe and Gigi Gigi Bryant, Karim Abdul, Jabar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neill and Jerry West.
Starting point is 01:16:34 Okay. There's other athletes honored like Oscar de laoya, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, and figure skater Luke Robatil. I don't know. No, he played for the Kings. For the Kings. It says figure skater.
Starting point is 01:16:48 Oh. Oh. Well, no, he played the NFL. Maybe that's the wrong title. Yeah. But, okay, so his best argument, LeBron's best argument would be, well, Jerry West is out there.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Jerry West only won one championship, but he was a great, player for the sport. That's the logo. But Jerry West also was the Laker for a long time. Yes. And he also brought Kobe and he brought Shaq and made some of the more. And did some of the best trades ever in high and coaching.
Starting point is 01:17:14 He is also the logo of the NBA. Yeah. Yeah, but we're saying that it doesn't matter what you do for the NBA as like because we don't, that's, LeBron has done a lot. Yeah. You know? But it's like it's an LA thing. What have you done that deserves it at crypto?
Starting point is 01:17:26 Or are we just being on our high horse nose in the air like we're LA. Are we just doing that? Yeah, of course, but that's part of it. That's part of being a Laker fan. He knew what he was signing up for, too, when he came to the Lakers. When did he come to the Lakers? I think it was like 2016, 2017. Okay, I'm not too sure.
Starting point is 01:17:42 A long time. How long has you been on the Lakers? A long time. Since 2018. Almost a decade. Okay, so he's doing it. He's doing it up. Doing what?
Starting point is 01:17:50 How many years have you been power of Lakers? How many actual playoff rounds have we won with him? Eight, nine years probably two? Yeah, about the same time. Yeah, but he got two championships. And he got it like a superiors. as he got here too. LeBron has one.
Starting point is 01:18:03 Lebron has one. It doesn't count. If he has one more, it'll help his case. How is Saul was on for six seasons? Six seasons. Well, isn't that? He's your. I think we're just being biased.
Starting point is 01:18:14 We just don't like him too much. And I'm with it because it took me a lot. Like, ugh. It took this day. It was like he was a stepdad for us for a little while. He's still there. Yeah. I would put a power statue at my house.
Starting point is 01:18:26 That's how dope he is. Yeah. In my room. Yeah. And his brother. His brother paid too. His brother did. His brother did.
Starting point is 01:18:32 His brother did. Yeah, that's right. All right. All right. Jimmy Kim will return to TV last night, you guys. Six days after being suspended indefinitely for supposed insensitive comments about Trump mourning the loss of Charlie Kirk. All right. And this is how Jimmy's show, welcome them back.
Starting point is 01:18:53 As I was saying before I was interrupted. I like how they did the Jerry chat, but like Jimmy. Yeah. Like Jerry Springer. Yeah. And he went right of, you know, right to addressing the Trump. thing, you know, immediately. Listen to this.
Starting point is 01:19:08 I do tonight. Rating. Yeah. You might have to release the Epstein files to distract us from this now. So he went right at him, not afraid of, you know, ruffling any more feathers or anything. And Trump was, went on truth social and instantly, like, replied. And he was just like, oh, like, I can't believe they let him back on there. And he's turning to sue.
Starting point is 01:19:55 Yeah. Durning to sue and stuff like that. I think that Jimmy did a great job addressing the whole thing. There was way more to this where he talked about the actual, like, look, if you look back at how I've actually felt about what happened with Charlie Kirk, I was one of the first people to send my, like, send love, prayers, condolences to the family. And not that it has to be said, but let's address this too. And I still feel that way. He talked about Erica Kirk's memorial to her husband. Like, he was very, like, on point with that.
Starting point is 01:20:25 Oh, okay. And I think he did a great job of addressing it in that, like, he didn't stand front. anything like that. Any life lost is a bad thing. So he did, I don't know, like he addressed it pretty well besides the Trump, Trump. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:41 Also, that means that Guillermo got his job back, right? Oh, yeah. He had a great day yesterday because he also got honored by our homegirl Monica Rodriguez. So it was a great day for him, and this is what he said. They gave me an award for being a Latino for represent the Latino community. Let's go. Oh, Guillermo. No, she honored him and that was so tight.
Starting point is 01:20:59 Big up our baby. girl Monica Rodriguez, man. Cool, cool chick and in the political scene to make sure that change happens. And she reps that our area, no? I remember I saw Hanson Dam. Yeah, I think it's still more, San Fernando. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the valley area. I don't even live there anymore.
Starting point is 01:21:13 I say, I know. Always, always, always. But he got, like, memorialized for his Hispanic Heritage Month and just what he's like being a figure in, like, in our community. In Hollywood. Shout out to Guyamo. Two mammals got their flowers, huh? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:27 Memo Ochoa here? Memo Choa. Thank you, yes. All right, I have a question for you guys. How would you feel if your friend took your gig? Guilty. What? If you took your friend's gig.
Starting point is 01:21:40 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was supposed to say guilty because I'm guilty of doing that. You've done it? What? Oh, good. Your friend's gig? Yeah, like my friend asked me to DJ for him at a club once. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:51 And, like, I'm very, very good at the set. And the club's like, yeah, I'm booking you more instead of that person. That's how you got the Indian gig? Insane. Wow. Yeah. Well, you might be just like Adele because Adele may have taken Taylor Swift's Super Bowl gig. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 01:22:06 All right. There's rumors circulating right now that Adele is actually going to perform at halftime, not Taylor Swift. They're really good friends. And a lot of people are like, oh, those are just rumors and stuff like that. But check this out. NBC has a Super Bowl. They're going to broadcast a Super Bowl this year. And Jimmy Fallon is on NBC and he went on and said this during his late night show.
Starting point is 01:22:25 Apparently the NFL has approached Adele about doing the TV. 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. Good news is she's considering it. The bad news is she wants to debut a new song that disses drink. So, that was a great joke, by the very last year. For all the...
Starting point is 01:22:44 That's for sure your type of comedy. Cornball. If it was last year, it would have been... That was funny. That was funny. So you think it might be Adele because Fallon mentioned it? Because Fallon is on NBC. He has inside information. It's also like a... little teaser maybe.
Starting point is 01:23:00 But it feels like a setup for a joke. Like it was like a movie that he jumped on. Yeah, but also like he's on NBC. They're going to broadcast it. If you put the conspiracy things together. No, Victor. You got to put the, you did the whole conspiracy thing for Adele?
Starting point is 01:23:13 No, for Taylor. For Taylor. Taylor, I had a lot of things. That's what I'm saying. No, you had the, oh, it's because the Super Bowl thing was right in the middle and you can see the NFL logo. That's how people go.
Starting point is 01:23:24 Did you have you guys seen the next Super Bowl logo or whatever that it's in all blue? So they're saying like the teams are, going to be the blue teams. Oh, yeah. Who are the blue teams? Probably the lions. Probably the lions.
Starting point is 01:23:34 Chargers. Yeah. It's like a light blue too. Chargers. Lions are looking damn good. Oh, it is a Chargers blue. Oh, it's up, baby. Lions, dolphins.
Starting point is 01:23:42 Wait. It's not the dolphins. No, they're like, it's different shades of light blue. There's no, no, no, no, no. No. The Titans. I'll do this to me. No, no.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Cowboys is dark blue. It's not never the tight. It's not the, it's not the cowboys. I fell for a tweet yesterday that said that Mariah Carey was going to do. That's the halftime show. And I'm going to tell you this right now. I'm surprised she never did already. That's true.
Starting point is 01:24:04 Yeah. I would have, like, and she has the catalog. She does. Oh, 100%. Yeah. But you know, let the be rolling in the deep. No. Okay, that was my question.
Starting point is 01:24:13 I'm like, okay, what, like, songs would she, like, get the people hyped? Hey, she has. Hello. Hello. But no, I mean, like, hype. Like, up and dancing. Oh, no. It's going to be a different show.
Starting point is 01:24:23 It's going to be like, it's going to be like opera damn near, but it's, like, going to be a beautiful vocal. I'm not even Adele's, Adel's biggest. fan, but I was thinking about it. Damn, it's going to be like, her vocals are just going to be incredible. Yeah, I would like it, but there's a certain vibe you have like during football. Yeah. Super Bowl, yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:40 I'd put her up to do the National Anthem. Yes, that, I get it. I get it. That would be incredible. Give me Mariah Carey a half-time show. I don't care. I don't care if she's just that either. But give me right here.
Starting point is 01:24:52 No, bro, y'all tripping. She's going to bring out hell of hip-hop acts. This is Mariah we're talking about. She got to do heartbreakers. Imagine both of? No, Mariah's got the hits. I'm not going to, nah, she's killing it. Oh, hell yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:06 That'll be great. Well, there's a, to do that. We'll see. It's going to be, yeah, it might have been Adele taking Taylor Swift's game last minute. You never know. I don't know. Yeah, I really think it's going to be Taylor. I'm going to stick with that.
Starting point is 01:25:17 Okay, we'll see. We'll see who's rights. Keep it here. Keep it here. He's power 106. Ellie's number one for hip-hop. I want to shake it off. You want to shake it off for Taylor Swift?
Starting point is 01:25:27 I would shake it off. be in a blank space for her. She wanted to. All right. She just texted me. She wanted me to play this song for you. She was here. It's power on a six.
Starting point is 01:25:37 It's just for you.
