Starting point is 00:01:22 because we were letting you know That's starting tomorrow Let's go We are kicking off the holidays Here on Power 106 Okay We got the Brownback morning's holiday party instead of the brown by morning's house party.
Starting point is 00:01:33 All right. If you haven't heard the news by now, pennies are no longer being minted. They are no longer being created as of yesterday. All right, pizza, fallen soldier, man, the penny. Angie, bonus points. Which president is on the penny? Lincoln. Let's go. Let's get you nervous there.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Okay. You know that the reason they are no longer minting pennies is it. cost like way more than the actual penny is worth to create one. Okay. It costs about 3.69 cents to make a single one cent coin. So each penny literally costs more than it's worth. That's so dumb. That's inflation right there, dogs.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Bags on bags. Right. So yes, they stopped. They stopped doing it. And by stopping production, the government expects to save about $56 million a year in material and manufacturing costs. And here's where, like, my thoughts coming to play. Yeah. Have you ever seen it's like, oh, I got this quarter from 1920?
Starting point is 00:02:30 and it costs like this much that much. I'm assuming pennies are going to be like that. Because the obvious guide and like tip is, hey, go to CoinStar right now and like get your pennies into cash. And so you have that. But what if you keep it as a collector's item and boom, give it like 10 years? That things were money. Penny.
Starting point is 00:02:51 It's going to be more 47 cents. There you go. Hey, that's more than it was worth right now. That's not come up. I thought it was. I thought it was. It was okay. I think there's too many in the world.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Like, we need to get rid of them. Too many pennies? Yes. Just get rid of pennies. But you got to know that getting rid of pennies is also going to get rid of things like certain, what are they called, models or like quotes? Quotes.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Like, you won't say cost a pretty penny because in 10 years, kids are going to be like, what is that? Oh. Yeah. It's a pretty costly zeal. Doesn't feel weird to say. Yeah, it doesn't sound right. At all. That's a pretty zeal.
Starting point is 00:03:30 That's a pretty zeal. No, that's a pretty zeal. It costs us a pretty zeal? No, no, no, no, no, no. Things like that, I guess. I don't know. You have pennies in your house. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Girl, I have like a whole, like the whole little packet that you make. It's like a dollar, like 100 pennies and it's a dollar. I have a little who says, what are you using for? I'm just saving it. And then when I got this news, I'm like, oh, my God, I'm going to be rich in like 50 years. Just hold on to it. If that's the point. If you have it already, hold on to it.
Starting point is 00:03:56 We have like a whole offenda, like we just put money there. So all the change It just all sits in there So I'm probably gonna Take all the money Like not your actual offrenda To the people Y'all be offering pennies
Starting point is 00:04:06 That's pretty I know That's not like any money that we have Like we just put money there Oh I get you next to you Yeah the house ofrenda Yeah the house of front God not like someone that passed away
Starting point is 00:04:15 Like you know for the day of the dead No no no no no no I was about to say Don't I'm the hook I'm gonna say Yeah right I miss my oldita Here's penny
Starting point is 00:04:25 I know All right Keep it here More brown bag mornings on the way. More brown bag mornings on the way, including the weather with concrete. Concrete, you're in Houston, you said? Yes, I'm in Houston.
Starting point is 00:04:37 It's beautiful, 73 degrees. Wow. Beautiful even in the morning. I went out there just in a G-string. It feels fantastic. It's not the same over here. No, but let's go to the movies real quick. And by the movies, I'm in your bedroom.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Whoa. That's what you watch Netflix, no? True, true, true. Oh, okay. Let me room. There you go. Your Netflix is currently. playing being Eddie. That's a documentary
Starting point is 00:05:00 on Eddie Murphy and what role do you know Eddie Murphy the best at? Angie, Greg. I have to say the Haunted Mansion. That's where you have Eddie from. Wow. When I think of Eddie Murphy I think haunted mansion. You don't think Donkey from Shrek. Oh no, because you saw it in Spanish and it was that one actor. I was going to say Shrek. I was going to say Shrek. Yeah, Shrek. This is crazy.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Con, please help me. Where do you know Eddie? Like what's the Eddie Murphy moment for you, bro? The big one and then Foley, a detective Foley from Beverly Hills Cop. Beverly Hills Cop, yeah. Wow. Came out in the, I don't even want to know the year. I don't even want to. 84 or something, though.
Starting point is 00:05:41 19804. You know he's almost going to have spent 50 years in, like, in his career. Wow. Because he started really, really young, comedy, and then he was on SNL, and then things from there when he started taking on different movie roles. So it's currently, and the documentary is on right now, on your Netflix. I'm going to tell you right now, we went to the premiere yesterday at Netflix, To Doom Theater, which I think is a hilarious name for a theater.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Doom theater? No, Tadum. Like, Tadum, like, Tadum. Oh, like the noise that makes. Yes. Isn't that tight? That's actually pretty cool. And I'm telling you, Eddie Murphy was there, Martin Lawrence, Cedric the Entertainer.
Starting point is 00:06:21 There were so many, like, different comedians there to support him. And it was cool to see, like, everybody. watching the story of Eddie Murphy. Yeah. And there were points that make you cry. You know, he talks about his brother, Charlie Murphy. And I think, you know, like that, that dynamic that he has, he's the younger brother, Charlie Murphy's the older brother that's passed away.
Starting point is 00:06:42 It gets you in your feelings. It gets you in your tear. And it's a tearjerker. Eddie Murphy has 10 kids of his own. So he talks about that. He talks about just making it. But throughout, like, the dog, something that was really special to me. And maybe it's because I'm in my little deep Sagittarius moment right now.
Starting point is 00:06:57 but he talks about how he always knew he was going to be that guy. He always knew he was going to be famous. He always had that conviction. And I was able to ask him only one question. So I had to ask him about like that spirituality. Like where did it come from? He talks about praying in the documentary, helping himself get balanced. He even says like, you know, there was people around me that fell to like the pitfalls of fame.
Starting point is 00:07:21 There was the Whitney's. There was the Michael Jackson. Like he mentions these people. He's like, my biggest blessing. The best thing is that I love myself. And I asked him like, what got you there? How was it moms? Was it the church?
Starting point is 00:07:35 And he's like, no, it was all me. The family wasn't like super churchy or super supportive or anything. I just always had that, you know, belief in myself. Which is hard to be like, okay, well, then what's the answer, bro? You just had it? Yeah, you just believed it? You just had it? You just are you?
Starting point is 00:07:52 I don't know, but it was really cool to be in his presence and be in the red carpet. Yeah. And even see the documentary. One thing that I thought was really funny in the documentary is that he loves himself. Like his most favorite thing on TV, although he is Eddie Murphy, the goat. In hell of movies, stand up like raw and delirious, coming to America is incredible. Everything that he's done, whether it be Dilbert, excuse me, whether it be Shrek, whether it be the nutty professor. His favorite thing to watch.
Starting point is 00:08:21 If he's watching TV. The best show on television is ridiculousness. Ridiculousness They just canceled it They just canceled it But he's like After 97 years No after 2,000 episodes
Starting point is 00:08:37 Bro That's a lot Two thousand episodes They canceled ridiculousness Yeah According to Rob I thought there were reruns this whole time Facts
Starting point is 00:08:44 No I didn't know there were new episodes Yeah And low key It could live off of reruns at this point Yep it can Because funny is funny No matter what
Starting point is 00:08:52 True that You know But it was really cool to me That the go Eddie Murphy It's like, you know what I laugh at? I don't laugh at comedians. I don't laugh at. The thing that I laugh at the most is ridiculousness.
Starting point is 00:09:01 People getting hurt. Yeah. Shout Teddy Murphy. Make sure you watch that documentary. It's on Netflix right now, right now. But let's get into the weather with concrete. Come on. And now the weather.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Oh, hell the dog. With concrete storm. Let's go, Perritos going down for the weather today. Thursday. Guys, you guys are in it for a crazy one. You guys got an atmospheric river coming to Southern. California. So, yeah, for sure, for sure, get your chanclas on.
Starting point is 00:09:30 It's going to go, look, you guys are expecting two to five inches in the mountains and the foothills and the valleys. I know, Greg, it's exciting, huh? Greg is all excited about the two to five inches. That's right there, bro. First off, we're off to the city of Whittier, where they have that London accent and they say, Cherio. No, they don't, but their churotos over there.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Your high will be 73 degrees. Next, we're right out to the city of Ontario, where it's blood in blood out, like Ruz Candelario. Batos Locos forever, Perrito. Your high will be 74 degrees over there. Now we push the Carrito to the city of Valley Vista, where Greg is guaranteed to holler at your primas. Your high will be 76 degrees.
Starting point is 00:10:10 And lastly, we hit the city of Carlsbad. Where foods get pulled over, it's all bad. Your high will be 70 degrees, Perritos. And, dude, I don't know what, look, I was going to give you guys a fun fact, but you guys need to know safety fact. Just make sure you guys are safe. driving. The rain will hit later on this evening. So just be careful. Don't be an idiot. Drive safe. Keep other people safe on the road and just be cool, man. Just keep it, you know, keep the vibes
Starting point is 00:10:33 nice, barrel. Yeah, no. I'd say it's, and don't, let's not play with it either because there is a lot of rain headed our way. They've even evacuated places that have been in the fire areas from earlier this year. So I guess just watch out for each other like content. But yeah, there's going to be, there's going to be some hard rain. It's not just going to be like a still sprinkle. They are expected to see, they're expected to see a debris flow from burn scar areas. So, you know, just be careful, man. And, you know, just take care of each other on the road. Don't be an idiot.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Drive safe. All right, here we go. Once again, Whittier, you'll be 73, Ontario 74, Valley Vista, 76, and Carlsbad. You'll be 70 degrees. Your boy, concrete. Brownback morning is power 106. 715, tomorrow and every weekday. Let's go, Perrito.
Starting point is 00:11:13 All right, check this out, homie. You need a homeie or need some help. We need your help. We'll need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Our Brimo Eddie needs our help Eddie says
Starting point is 00:11:28 Hey Brown Bag Unfortunately I'm in a really Really really Rough patch in my life I've been with this girl for 12 years Married for two And we're in the process
Starting point is 00:11:38 Of getting divorced Potentially Potentially So that's his wife then Not his girl Yeah it's his wife This is mainly my fault This is mainly my fault
Starting point is 00:11:49 On why we're in the position In our marriage I've never physically cheated or went out of the relationship sexually, and I would always find myself in a pattern seeking attention and trying to find validation from girls on Instagram. She warned me a few times to stop it, and I always took it lightly because I was like,
Starting point is 00:12:08 okay, it's not a big deal. It's not like I'm cheating. I've never met these girls, so it really doesn't matter. About two weeks ago, it came to a breaking point when she finally said, F this! Got all her stuff, went over to her mom's house, and she took our daughter. Dang.
Starting point is 00:12:27 It's been nine days that she's left. I've gotten a six therapy sessions, spent hundreds of dollars just trying to fix this. So I'm just really numb right now. I haven't felt this type of pain since my grandpa passed away, and I know it's asking a lot, and I feel desperate right now. Please help me, Brown Bag. How can I get my girl back? She is listening right now.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Oh, my goodness. Letty. Another beggar. Oh, my God. Eddie. For the record, I think he mentioned he started going to therapy after she broke up with him. Yes. Not during.
Starting point is 00:13:02 No. It's like after she left him. He went to therapy. Like, look, I'm doing the thing you asked me to do before. Trying to better myself. Okay. But I don't believe him because how was he able to get therapy sessions that quick? There's therapy everywhere.
Starting point is 00:13:14 No, I know. But my sister, like I'm telling you, she does actually therapy. She's a therapist, like you said. But like there's like wait list. Like people wait months, weeks, things like that. to even get one session in. Yeah. So him saying that he got,
Starting point is 00:13:27 he went to six and nine days, that's, yeah. I don't know. Therapy's supposed to be like on demand, like really fast because you're like, you're sad in that moment. You're not sad in two weeks, maybe. That's the hotline, bro. That's the hell.
Starting point is 00:13:38 That's the number. Oh, Ron, maybe he's called the hotline for sure. That's the logic song. Wait, but yeah. I mean, what kind of therapy also? I mean, where's he going? Well, we can ask him because we got Eddie on the line.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Eddie, hey, hey, Buenos days, Eddie. Hey, what's up, Brown bag. Buenos Diaz, Buenos Diaz. Oh, Eddie. What's up, Eddie? What's up, Eddie? Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:00 All right, Eddie, chill out. Chill out. Chill. Is this concrete or Eddie? No, this is right. See? No, wait. No, wait. Who is it, man? Come on stop.
Starting point is 00:14:09 All right. Los quates. All right, Eddie. We got to ask you some questions about your story. First of all. Yeah, I already heard Angie. I already heard Angie. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:14:18 Wait, okay. Oh. Well, that is a question, though. Okay. First of all, I'm ready to answer. Okay. Why are you so combative right now? I'm just, I like this guy.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Eddie's hurting. Because I'm in pain, bro. Like, this shit or everything. Hey. Oh, no, no, Chris. Hey. Eddie. This stuff hurts.
Starting point is 00:14:36 I apologize. All right. Okay. First of all, I know that you're going through a rough situation, and it's not easy to come on and talk about low-key things you've done wrong and how it's costing you in your life. So first and foremost, know that we're right there, which you broke. We understand. It's a tough spot. And you're calling in.
Starting point is 00:14:53 But how long has it been since this all happened? The whole seeking attention on Instagram or her leaving you. She left about two weeks ago now. She left two weeks. And in those two weeks, you've gone to six therapy sessions. Well, seven now. Yeah, and I've gone to independent therapy. And then I also gone to some through the Catholic Church.
Starting point is 00:15:15 They offer some. See? Oh, okay, the church. Okay, the church is different. Yes. The Lord is the best therapy. every resource I can, you know. So, like, I'm just trying to fix this.
Starting point is 00:15:25 I guess when you mean fix this, are you meaning fix your relationship with your girl or fix what's inside you? I want to fix myself. Because I don't know what the, like, why am I doing this, you know, like, because it's not okay, you know?
Starting point is 00:15:38 You're saying why are you doing this as in like, likeing girls on Instagram? It's not like it? No, like just interacting with other girls and like trying to get attention from girls and like, why am I seeking this elsewhere instead of like within my marriage? Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:15:51 All right. Okay, I have a couple questions because you did mention that she's listening. Did you tell her to listen? No, she could potentially be listening if she's like driving to work right now because she listens to you guys every morning. That's a great catch right there. I don't know why you're letting that step out of your fingers. That's true.
Starting point is 00:16:06 But look, we're here to help you. We're here to help you. So you've been, it says you guys have been together 12 years married for two, but she's always had an issue with you in social media. So I'm assuming she's caught you a few times doing this. Yeah. And what was the last straw for her? Because you said, like, she saw you and it was open.
Starting point is 00:16:27 What was that? Well, the last straw was, I was, like, I was, like, just laying down on the bed on my phone. I guess I knocked out and I left my phone open. And she had seen, like, you know, like, just, like, conversations with different girls and, like, just stuff like that. Oh. That was a last straw. So you're DMing these girls, too. Like, you personally know these girls.
Starting point is 00:16:46 It's a DM. It's like DM getting to know them online and just, like, interacting with them. So you don't think that those are relationships? Like, now that I want a therapy, I could consider, like, an emotional. Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't just, like, influencers and stuff like that. Yeah, I guess Greg thought your 4-U page was just twerking videos.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Yeah, like mine. No, no, no. No, it was, like, me interacting with girls, like, and then, like, you know, they'll comment stuff and send me stuff. And I was, like, just, like, entertaining me. Eddie. Yeah. It was just bad. Is they entertaining them, dog?
Starting point is 00:17:16 That's crazy. Yeah. Yeah, I know, I know. Okay. So she leaves with your daughter. And have you spoken to her since? No, my daughter's pissed at me too. She doesn't want to talk to me.
Starting point is 00:17:29 They're both just kind of like just not trying to deal with me right now. And I don't blame them. You know, I take accountability for like everything that I'm dealing with right now. So it just sucks that I'm in this position because of, you know, my own, my own actions. Man, just cares how old is your daughter? She's 13. Oh, so she knows what she knows exactly what's going on. He's only enough to understand.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Oh, God. Eddie, how many times has this happened? Like the, and I'm assuming. It's literally been a cycle, like, because I didn't get on Instagram until, like, 2017, 2018. Okay. But, like, since I got on there, it would just be a cycle. Like, like, girls will follow me and I'll just lay it all, you know,
Starting point is 00:18:07 I'll lay all she's attractive and I'll just kind of like their stuff. They like my stuff. And it would always lead to, like, you know, conversations and just little things like that. And then it just became a bad, bad pattern, you know. but um Hey hey hey Hey homie
Starting point is 00:18:20 you have a nice voice like does the voice match how you look bro because he sounds a little like you sound like you sound like
Starting point is 00:18:27 he sounds like you sound like a he sounds like an attractive guy like yeah because you're saying that they follow you yeah
Starting point is 00:18:33 you're not seeing you're just like over here just posting a photo your food I mean like I'm six seven I'm Mexican I mean
Starting point is 00:18:40 I'm like you sound like there's no Mexicic seven chill loud maybe mix okay Eddie are you sending
Starting point is 00:18:47 voice note are you sending voice don't take hey what's up I appreciate that following all the above girl like just wait the waltz Eddie so I guess to you it's not anything because there hasn't been
Starting point is 00:18:59 a meetup and you're like to me in my mind the way I would rationalize it I would just be like well I'm never going to meet these girls I have no intention on hooking up with them I just enjoy like the little bit of attention I'm getting through social media you know like Iisha Curry era
Starting point is 00:19:14 I just want to be wanted Your wife doesn't give you that attention? I honestly told her that. Like the last one, like after my first few therapy sessions, I told her I feel like, you know, the worst part about this is I didn't feel comfortable going to you to talk to you about how I was feeling or like a lack of stuff that I felt in our marriage, you know?
Starting point is 00:19:33 Because I should have been able to just talk to her about it and say, you know what? I feel like you're not giving me enough attention. I feel like, you know, but. I'm wondering what's the attention you need? Because at one point, it's like partly on her, like of you guys to communicate like that. Like you mentioned, you didn't.
Starting point is 00:19:47 communicate that you need something from her but at one point is it like it's like you can't be satiated by it either like even if she were to give attention you just need more and you need more because it doesn't seem like you got stuck on one girl that gave you attention you were like oh my cup is full you went like
Starting point is 00:20:03 whoever so like at what point is it like your like could it never be enough coming from her? Yeah like I know that that's like 100% just my fault because at the end of the day whatever excuses I have whatever like rationalization the therapist have given me. I know like I'm in charge of my own actions, you know, so like I did this, you know, so there's no rationalizing it.
Starting point is 00:20:25 But at the same time, like I feel like my wife should always have just been enough for me, you know, because I married her for a reason and I just kind of lost sight of that. Yeah. You never wanted to do like couples therapy? It didn't really cross my mind up until we got to this point But then like she's kind of against it She's like I don't want to go in there and just like not even want to hear anything they have to say She's like at the end of the day I think you need to just fix this first and fix yourself and then we can figure that out later She's good she's right in the past Yeah
Starting point is 00:20:55 No no maybe she starts sending her DMs big dog Yeah A little meme here and there a little meme here and there a little meme here here and there, a little pick that, you know, if you're 6, 7, I'm like to. Six, seven. Seven. Eddie, since all of this just happened, are you still on social or what are you doing? Hell no.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Heck, I mean, heck no. I like, well, I mean, I only used a contact brown bag in the morning, but, like, I got rid of all my posts. I took everything down. I, yeah, I changed everything. I don't, no, I don't want it. Like, I even told her, like, you get back, like, you could even put, like, one of those kid trackers on my phone if you need to. Like, I'm not trying to do that.
Starting point is 00:21:36 I'm not trying to. Smart. Give me a bark phone if you need to. I'm not just going to do anything, you know. I'm not trying to lose my family. Yeah, but you did already, Pops. Yeah, no, we're here now, but I mean. It's reversible.
Starting point is 00:21:48 It's reversible. Keep going to church, brother. Yeah, yeah. I'm just trying to, like, you know. What has she told you to, like, hey, I'll take you back if you do this? No, she hasn't said any of that. Nothing. She's not said that.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Nothing. No. She's been. No. Because she's probably said that the other times that he's done it. Yeah, letty got it. She's giving me opportunities. She's giving me opportunity to fix it and fix it.
Starting point is 00:22:13 And she said the only difference is this time that I'm actually taking action. I'd look for help and try to like, you know, fix this. But I told her at the end of the day, like, whether you come back to me or not, I do want to just fix it because it's not right. Like, it's not right at all, you know. Pau-Pao-Pao. Pau-Po looking at girls on Instagram and DMing them. Pau-Pao-Deming them.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Hey, Eddie, I hope you never sent the money, did you? Sent the money. No, never, no. No, it's like, no. Sent the girls money. No, he's the baddie. They've sent him money. Hey, what's the worst thing you've sent?
Starting point is 00:22:48 Probably a picture of my foot. Of your foot? Oh, you mean something else? No, I'm just playing. I don't think you're playing. Hey! That's a little foot finish. Eddie over here?
Starting point is 00:23:01 Yeah. No, no, no, no. Nothing, bro. Just like, nothing, just pictures and, like, voice message and messages. That's about it. But I never sent nothing. Like, I don't really send anything like that. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:13 I just received. The barking dogs is crazy. Eddie. Eddie. You sent us voice notes. So I believe you that you sent them voice notes. And in your voice notes that you sent us, you justavas, a meadow yore, like you were there already crying.
Starting point is 00:23:31 No, no. That I was going through it. I was like that and I don't know what I was just really like going through the emotions that night and I said dang let me see if bro, I can help me out. I'm sorry. No, we're not helping at you. I'm sorry because I want to help you but kind of a little bit don't because of what you were doing because that's an argument all the time. In a household right now, I'm telling you, there's someone driving like, oh, they got nervous now because they're around the party and they literally had this conversation last night. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:00 That's crazy. That's crazy. I know I'm not the only one. Like, I genuinely believe that social media is so bad for relationships. Like, yeah. Well, no, well, well, it's not, Eddie. Hold on, Eddie. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Eddie, maybe social media is just not for you, buddy. Just like some people can't pick up a drink because they can't handle the liquor. You can't handle your social media, pa. But I feel like with Eddie, it might not even be social media. It might just be the world, honestly. Like, I feel like you were on the party line. I feel like you picked the girls on the gas station. Like you sound like one of those dudes
Starting point is 00:24:34 Don't put that on Eddie Not even I've never I promise you I've never Cheat on my wife I'm not saying that We're not saying that But you're mentioning that
Starting point is 00:24:43 That makes me think that On everybody Oh no no no Because you like the attention You sound like the fool that see someone driving on the freeway And then it's like ooh like Let me follow them
Starting point is 00:24:52 Yeah I mean hey she looked at my own Through the cars Yeah You're pasto Well how did you and your girl meet 12 years ago We met through a social
Starting point is 00:25:02 media. Hey, you lose them. How you get them, buddy? And she's surprised, and she's surprised. All of a sudden. Stop, that's like a new way to meet people now, bro. That's a new way. That was Facebook, though.
Starting point is 00:25:15 You know, Facebook. It's different. The college years. And that blew up in his face. And Eddie, you also said that you currently have something you want to read. You want to read this to Wi-Fi, right? Yeah, but before I read it, I saw the comment section on the post. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:25:33 No, no, no, no. Hey, hey, why are you on social media? I thought you deleted it. I'm just to see what people were saying. No, no, no, no. Why? Is that no business? Anyways, there's a bunch of tort out there that no man would fight for them.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Oh, my God. Eddie, you're not helping yourself for right now. This is the problem, Eddie. Eddie. Eddie. Let's focus on what's important. What's important is your wife? He's looking at a crush-out.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Yeah, okay. Back to this. So I wanted to read something just in case she's out there listening. All right. Ready? Yes. Okay. I spent a lot of time thinking about everything that's happened between us
Starting point is 00:26:15 about the ways I've hurt you and the man I turned into compared to the one that you married. I know my actions cause you pain, disappointment, and a deep loss of trust. And I just want to say that I'm truly sorry. You had every reason to step away from me. My addiction to attention from other women online, it was wrong. It was disrespectful and it was selfish. I showed you that I didn't value what we had the way I should have. I can see now how those choices made you feel unseen and unimportant,
Starting point is 00:26:39 when in reality you've always been the most important person in my life. I also know that my lack of driving, my lack of ambition has weighed on you. I let myself get too comfortable instead of working to build a future that we could both be proud of. That's on me, and I promise you that that stops now. I'm taking real steps to change, not for you, but because I finally understand that I need to become the kind of man who deserves your love and respect. I'm getting help to understand my behavior and figure out why I've always felt the need for validation from other people. I've stepped away from social media completely and I'm focusing on my personal growth.
Starting point is 00:27:13 I'm learning discipline, setting goals and trying to be present, really present in my own life. I know that saying these things doesn't fix the damage I cause. I know trust doesn't come back overnight. What I'm asking for is an instant forgiveness is just a chance, a chance to show you through time and consistent actions and effort that I've changed and that it can be the man you always. deserve. You mean the world to me, Nikki. Luzi, you made me realize how much it took for granted your warmth, your laughter, the peace I felt being next to you.
Starting point is 00:27:40 If you're not ready to come home, I understand. But I want you to know I'm still going to keep working on myself. I'm going to keep fighting for our marriage every single day because you and what we had are worth it. Love you, Eddie. That's victory. I'll reach right there, homie. No, no, no. That's a step to take. That's a step to take
Starting point is 00:27:58 and that took a lot to write. I'm sure. Yeah. Concrete. Yeah, a lot. That's a step in the right direction, that's a step in the right direction. I mean, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:28:08 Look, one thing I know about women and that I've heard is that once a woman checks out, she's out of their brother. I don't know how far checked out she is, but if a woman is not there emotionally, just wave goodbye, brother. But you're still need to change yourself for the next relationship.
Starting point is 00:28:23 I'm just being real, dog, you know? Yeah, yeah. I would, I would, I could piggyback off of what Concrete said. Mm-hmm. And I guess tell you, bro, like, at least just from my perspective, that, like, granted, you messed up. It's time to fix it. If all is right according to you, nothing's been, like, you haven't gone too far, gone to the point where you can't fix it. However, it's not going to be fixed right now.
Starting point is 00:28:50 These two weeks that you're taking all these therapy sessions, that's not going to speed it up. That's like, even like, I took 20 classes in two weeks. No, it's not summer school where the whole year's, like, down to like a couple weeks. Like you're probably not going to see her for a while. And still have to be that discipline not having her. Like, because you got to,
Starting point is 00:29:11 you got to earn the chance. Yeah, she's thinking the worst of me right now, bro. Like, she's going to hear that. Like, he's trying to manipulate me,
Starting point is 00:29:19 trying to, like, gaslight me and stuff like that. I've heard this before. Yeah. I've heard all this before. It's been 12 years that you've been doing this. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Yeah. Yeah. No, man. You're trying to, you think you're trying to fix potholes. But you're actually, you got a sat.
Starting point is 00:29:31 and dress fault my boy you know what I'm saying that's that's how bad there was a whole earthquake and Eddie like just counting or talking smack to people that on the comments that's not enough you either the comment section's going crazy lookie Eddie because that's like uh that's the that's the devil you have to resist social media and right now you just showed that you didn't resist it you know what I'm saying because even if it's negative attention you clasped onto the attention yeah and you have a great moment right now because we're we're it's turned into the homie forget And you are now able to say that to you to baby girl. Nikki is her name.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Yes? Yeah. And I'm sure you're not just, uh, sorry to her. You're sorry to your daughter too. Of course. So, so all of that takes precedent, bro. But all of that is going to, it's like, it's like insane boot camp right now for you. You're not allowed to do the other stuff.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Yeah. Yeah. And you can't allow yourself. But let's go to the phone, man. Let's go to the phones, bro. I just, I would like to hear what other people have to say. Because also we don't got it all together. No, we don't.
Starting point is 00:30:34 I definitely don't. For sure, Greg, don't. But we be going through it too, bro. So let's see what the listeners have to say. Jose, Jose, excuse me, Jose's our video guy. He's our screener. Jose, Jose, what do you got to say? There's a video for that?
Starting point is 00:30:50 No. Eve, Eve and Watts. Eve, good morning, Eve. Good morning. What's up, Eve. Eve, let's talk to Eddie. What would you say to him? I am so happy that his girl left.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Okay. All right, hold on, hold on. It's like... Uh-huh. Go ahead. Let her speak. I'm like, is this my baby daddy on the phone? But no, it's not.
Starting point is 00:31:17 I'm currently going through the exact same situation. And I'm just saying, like, he's going to therapy. Good for him. But I'm glad she left. And honestly, he needs to stop trying. He just needs to let her be free because once a girl men, checked out she is checked out and I'm currently going through that myself where I'm a mentally checked out of my relationship I'm just here I could say for my kids and it's so hard to
Starting point is 00:31:43 especially when you have a little like your kids are a little older yeah it's a little hard because they see um they see things that are going on and it's really really hard um so that she took that big step means that she is completely done because if she's been with you for 12 years and you've been saying that you're going to change and it's a constant pattern it's like For girls, like, once she calls quits, she's done. Because she gave you the opportunity to change the first time and you continue to do it. It's like, she's done. So I'm glad she's, I'm glad he's out of there.
Starting point is 00:32:13 I appreciate your call. Let me tell you the question he said. He said, how can I get my girl back? Yeah. Not saying, but that's what I'm saying. To his question is like, don't get your girl back. Just let her be free. Like, stop crying.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Stop crying. Hey, be a man. Okay. No, I said stop trying. Stop crying. Oh, stop crying. Oh, something. Even hearing his poem, I'm pretty sure if his girl's listening to this, he is just laughing or being so cringe about it.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Because even me, I'm like, damn, that's cringy. Dan, that's crazy. This man is pouring out his heart and you're calling him cringy? It's not that. It's the moment that he chose. Why didn't you try that before we let's all this? It's that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:56 He's trying now. I guess can we give him any credit for, like you said, like it's good that he's going to therapy and and that's I guess what I wouldn't want to encourage him against because then he's to be like see therapy don't work you know what I'm saying no but it's like therapy is for him therapy is for him to feel better like to grow and baby girl probably therapy too like we exactly I'm pretty sure he's not saying the full truth and I'm pretty sure he put her through something else for her to actually get to that point breaking point where she's done like yeah like I'm pretty sure baby girl needs therapy for herself and I'm glad he's getting the therapy he needs it's for your
Starting point is 00:33:28 self-care not like it's not going to help you get your releases the back. Okay. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. And maybe that's the perspective that he needs. Because I'm telling you what's so weird, I'm like, bro, I've heard this stuff before. Well, you're the second.
Starting point is 00:33:42 But it was when full was back. His back was against the wall. Once what was done is done. And I guess you just look at it like, wait, I've been through all of this. You've called me crazy. You said that I was tripping. Yeah. This down the third.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Yeah. And then now that you're locked up. And granted, bro's not locked up. No, he's not. Now that you're locked up. Now you're, and I just got to stay because I got to be a real one. because you're locked up and it just, it puts your mind like, what? That is true.
Starting point is 00:34:06 You know? Yeah. And you find out someone else is putting, going to visit him too, pen-palling him. You went through it. That's a very thick line there. It's a very thick one. All right. Let's go to Diana in Palmdale.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Diana, we're talking to our homie Eddie, Diana, and not for nothing. It takes a lot because most dudes wouldn't. Most dudes would be like, yeah, this is how. how I am. I'm a man. I'm going to look and it's going to be there and get over it, lady. And he's taking accountability for being too often on his social media, checking out girls, talking to girls,
Starting point is 00:34:44 and just feeling like my girl and our family's not that priority for me right now. And now his girl left him of 12 years and married two. Two. Since those two weeks have happened last two weeks, he's gone to therapy. he's sought some type of help because there has to be a start for help somewhere and you know what? He's doing it now. He wrote he said a very nice
Starting point is 00:35:09 letter on the radio but Diana and Palmdale what advice would you have for Eddie? I think, hi guys. Hi, good morning. Hi Diana. I think that all I hear from Eddie is me me, me, me and I've been in a situation with my husband before. My husband is really big on social media. He loves attention He's very extroverted. And I knew it from the get-go when we got married, when I met him.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I knew that's how it was. But I can tell you how she feels. Like, I'm a husband's girl. I go to my husband for everything. But when they're like that, you start to feel like, am I not the person for you? Am I not your confident? Am I not your safe space? Am I not like the person that you go to?
Starting point is 00:35:55 You start to doubt yourself like, what am I lacking? Why can I be enough? Yep. And I feel like it's not far gone because obviously he loves her. But I do feel like he needs to put her first. He's not showing that. I'm putting myself first. I'm getting the help.
Starting point is 00:36:12 No. You're not, you're helping yourself. You're not helping the relationship. And you know what I think he would tell you? He'd tell you two things right now if I go to him, but I just don't want him to start yelling at all. You know, no, no.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Like he did everybody in the comments on social media. But I think what he would say is number one. I am realizing it's myself. and he probably also thinks I am putting her first. So what could he do? Yeah, yeah, exactly. What could he do to show that? What's that next step is what he wants to know?
Starting point is 00:36:41 She needs to delete Instagram. That's what she needs to do first of all. No, he didn't. How did he DM us? He went back in the comments and then from what he's calling girls tortas. I feel like he's a very, like, superficial type of person. He's six-seven. Get him on the line.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Tell him to say, get him. the car, Elizabeth. Why? Oh, my God. Why are you fantasizing about that? Why, why, why? What's that? It's a TV show, some little cholo.
Starting point is 00:37:07 He's like, get in the car, Elizabeth. But you see? Now you're giggling. Oh, my God. Are you flirty? Yeah, I know about that. Me? No, I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:37:15 No, I'm just playing. Yeah, right. Yeah, right. He's going to say that too. Hey, Eddie, say, get in the car, Elizabeth. I don't know what that means. I don't know what? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Get in the car, Elizabeth. Yeah. Get in the car, Elizabeth. Now, you got to say it like, like, Go get in the car Yeah like you're mad at me Oh get in the car a little bit See why that was another test
Starting point is 00:37:35 Why are you falling for it? Why are you doing this? Hey, Ramona's going crazy right now She's like, Why are you doing that Eddie? You're entertaining at the girls right now I don't know what the hell that means Yeah but you shouldn't be doing what a woman tells you
Starting point is 00:37:47 Yeah, Eddie unless it's your wife We're testing you You guys are helping me what the hell Hey we did There's a whole bunch of girls going crazy right now That's what happened Oh my God I'm glad I don't know.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I'm glad I don't know. All right. Let's go to Nick in Whittier. Hey, bro, I'm going to get you a dude's advice because it seems like you have not won the girl vote. I think the women's vote is very not for you right now, okay? No, I know. Would you like to say anything to women listening who probably have gone through the scene? I just want to say, like, to all the women that are calling in, like, I understand what you guys are saying.
Starting point is 00:38:20 And, you know, you guys are all right within, like, your opinions and the way you're feeling about the situation. Because I'm sure a lot of you guys have gone through this. but at the same time, like, it takes a lot for me to call and, you know, get embarrassed like this. And, like, I'm kind of second-guessing why I even did it. But like I said, I'm taking accountability for this. And I am where I am now. And I'm going to fix this regardless of what you guys say. Wow.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Look at that. This was using his voice to try to charm everybody. And I want you to know, I can tell you why you called in. Because just like where you're talking to girls on DMs, you like attention. Yeah. I don't even know why you guys are making. in fun of me right now. That is literally what we do.
Starting point is 00:39:00 I like that you called Dinn and you're vulnerable, but at the same time, we see too. Hey, get in the car, Elizabeth. I don't get it. All right. Nick, another dude, Nick, Nick, let us know your situation or how you would advise our guy,
Starting point is 00:39:16 Eddie, that called in. Yeah, good morning, you all. Yeah, first of all, I'm calling, I want to speak life into Eddie. Right now, the last two callers, they've, they're being nothing but negative, and they're sucking life out of him right now, and he needs encouragement. First of all, he's doing the right thing right now by working on himself.
Starting point is 00:39:34 You can't love someone if you don't love yourself right now. And I'm going to speak, I'm a personal standpoint and a godly standpoint, because I feel like he's becoming a man of God by the therapy he's seeking, right? So I was in the same situation. I was married for seven years a while ago. And that I was doing the same thing. I was seeking out attention from other females on social media, liking pictures. Other females would message me.
Starting point is 00:40:00 I would message them back, right? And then me and my wife at the time, ultimately, we were already in a bad standpoint. We were already thinking about getting divorced. But it was the last factor that pushed us again. I ended up seeking a relationship with another woman when we were already in a bad standpoint. We obviously ended up getting a divorce. that woman I ended up seeking a relationship with it was like looking in the mirror she was just like me and that's when I realized like why I don't like who I am because I'm with someone
Starting point is 00:40:34 that I you know it's just like me ultimately me and that woman ended up having a baby a beautiful baby boy we're not together anymore but ultimately ultimately that pushed me to seek out therapy I seeked out three years of counseling I got into Christianity seeked out I'm not religious I call relationship. I seeked out a relationship with God. And really what the best apology is change of behavior and change of behavior comes comes through time. And, you know, I'm proud of this dude right now. Eddie, you're seeking out therapy two weeks, but it's only been two weeks. So within this time, this next two weeks to a month, you need to pray for patients, you need to ask for patients, you need to learn it with the therapy. You need to continue to work on yourself. And whether you and your
Starting point is 00:41:20 wife get back together or not, you're going to end up loving yourself and it's just going to better your life in the future. I love who I am now. I just love myself so much. No one can speak down on me if they do. I'm going to take it right back. So in a day, what I truly think is that Eddie doesn't love himself fully. There's something about himself that he does not love and he's seeking out validation from other people that he can only get from two people. He can only get from himself and from God. That's the only place where he's going to get validation from. So keep doing what you're doing, Eddie. Keep, like, don't allow anyone to take life out of you, speak life into yourself right now. No one's going to, no one's going to want to speak life
Starting point is 00:42:03 into you right now because you're going to have, I'm going to be transparent right now. Females do the exact same males do things males do. They just are better at hiding it, but that's beside the point. Don't even focus on what other people. Yeah, don't even focus on what other people are doing. Trust me because the woman that I had a baby with, she, she, she, she, she, she, I lost her. I, how I got her. She ended up leaving me for another. The second woman. Not your wife. Yeah. And that was, that was the best thing that could have happened to me because it made me realize the change. I want it for myself. And I'm just, I just love myself as a person now. So just how's your relationship now? Like, do you have a relationship now? Yeah, yeah, I do. So honestly,
Starting point is 00:42:44 that's a good question. Yeah, I have a girlfriend with her for a year and a half. And, uh, and, now that I'm the man I am now I'm like able to love and be faithful and just support her encourage her and speak life into her and it's just like it because I love myself so much I'm able to love someone else and be that person that God has uh you know meant for me to be so are you are you guys still do you still use social media like Instagram and stuff like that yeah yeah yeah yeah I still use social media but I'm not the type of person to post every day Yeah, I just honestly, I post my son. That's it, really.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Oh, okay. So check this out, bro. Check this out, bro. Because I do think that your insight is incredible for our guy to have because right now he's at your step one. And your step one was the marriage that didn't work. And he's there right now. And his question, and I just want to, I want to make sure that we're steady on the question is, how does he get his wife back? How does he get her back?
Starting point is 00:43:41 And essentially, you're telling him what, loki, the other girls, although they were really harsh. said the same. It's not. You're not going to get that person. You got to work on self. You know, you got to allow for this. And I'm sure you with your wife, you understood we were already Rocky. Then this was the last part. And I'm sure you wish her well because you could also see how a lot of it was you, like you mentioned, you didn't love yourself. So how would you respond to his question of how can I get my wife back? Okay. Yeah. So first of all, you can get her back. But how do you get her back is by working on yourself and being patient. Because in a day, you're not going to get her back.
Starting point is 00:44:19 She's going to give you the opportunity to be with her by working on yourself and focusing on yourself only. And in return, if you better yourself, it's going to better your relationship with everyone around you. So you can't just go and get her back. The way to get her back is be still, continue to work on yourself. And it's going to take time, brother. I promise you it's going to take not weeks, months. It may take a year, but if you love her, you really want her, you have a family with her, then it's worth it. So the way you get her back is by being still and continue to work on yourself and then she will give you that opportunity to do so.
Starting point is 00:44:58 That's perfectly said. And I do think that he needed to hear it from somebody that went through it, Nick. So I appreciate your transparency on that. Eddie. Yeah. And I know it's tough to hear because right now you're like, I just want this to be back to normal. But it's not, like he said, you got to pray for people. bro and you got to pray that legit all these demons that you had or like you're going through or that journey that that it's really something that gets uh that gets attacked by you by your help and by your support system and that you come out on the other side of it yeah go to saps bro i mean all this is all this is good like hearing all the even the negative the positive just because it's going to remind me that i never want to be in this position again you know right that's right yeah the next time you want to call power 106 is to like win tickets or something yeah
Starting point is 00:45:46 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. You're your loved one. For you and your loved one. Yeah. Eddie, you take care, bro. You're not this.
Starting point is 00:45:55 You got this. Your little girl deserves her dad to love himself enough to love properly. Whether she comes back to her or not, you guys are going to co-parent. For sure. So I'm sure that she would appreciate you getting right as well, you know? Right. You're going to be all right, Eddie. Eddie, you're going to be all right, but don't.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Eddie, just go out pop bottles, bro. You're six. No, you're six. You're six, seven. Mexican. Go to the club. You'll find another girl, bro. Come on now.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Greg is being that temptation right now. I'm the little devil on your shoulder. He is. Yeah, you are. You just need those experiences in life. It's been 12 years. I like the therapy route you're going, bro. The idea of pot.
Starting point is 00:46:37 I'm going to stick to it. I mean, I'm discouraged right now just because all the stuff people are saying, but I'm going to just have to stick to it. And I think what discourages you right now is like, you're discurriced to it. that you can't get it back like this and you just can't. No, I'm just honestly scared because I don't know what's going to happen. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Tis life, bro. The unknown. Yes. Scared of the unknown. You know what's going to happen? You're going to get better, dog. Now, if you're going to get better and someone else be the person in your wife's life, that's going to be what you, what is the toss-up or maybe you move on.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Maybe you find the, your person. You go to Puerto Rico? No. Tampoto. Eddie, hold on my. Hold on. He's going to. He's going to be through it.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Poor guy, man. He was already down. People are kicking him. They were stomping on him while he's down. And it's funny because, like, anybody that said anything negative, he was like, I'm against you too. He wants to fight him as well. You're in that moment.
Starting point is 00:47:27 You're like, what is it called? Is it a crash out? No, no, no. The possum that's like against, against, like, and it just starts attacking. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But he's scared. Ultimately, he's scared. Like he said, he's scared of what, of what's about to happen.
Starting point is 00:47:37 Yeah. And, and people were triggered by the way he was talking. And then people were triggered by the way he was talking. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So ultimately it's it. Yeah, it's him and wifey that got to deal with that. And Nicole, if you listen, bro, girl, if you want to call us.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Yeah, Nikki. Yeah. Now, Angie, there's some cheese, man. Yeah, you guys. A-Con, our friend, he got arrested. What? Dude, he got arrested for an outstanding warrant out like in Georgia. It was like a warrant back in September.
Starting point is 00:48:07 So apparently, this is what happened, okay? So he was stranded out, like, stranded out in the middle of the street in a cyber truck. Then the cop pulled over and it. was like, hey, like, what happened? Are you okay? And Acon's like, yeah, my battery just died. You know, I just need to charge it. And so they call the tow truck, right? And while they're waiting, the cop decides to run his tax.
Starting point is 00:48:26 And he notices that the driver's license or Acon's driver's license is actually suspended. Wow. And he had no actual valid auto insurance. So at that time, he got arrested. He's like, hey, there's actually like an outstanding warrant from you because your license has been suspended since like January 2023. Like you shouldn't even be driving. He knows. Yeah, everybody knows.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Yeah, you know. Everybody knows. Come on, now. You drive a little, you can tell the drivers that are riding dirty because they're riding the best. Nah. They can't afford to lose or to get stopped. Hell. No.
Starting point is 00:49:00 All the drivers that have no insurance or have driving dirty always drive like if it's a last day. Not the ones with suspended licenses, bro. That's a lie. You follow all of the traffic rules. Okay, well, okay, I was just thinking, I'm like, okay, well, he's famous. He travels and things like that. Maybe he just forgot. Like, maybe he forgot about insurance.
Starting point is 00:49:19 He forgot about license, all that stuff. You think he forgot? You know when you got a warrant, Andy. I don't just forget a warrant. I feel like he would have people to handle that. And so he was wearing, his appearance in court. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Don't you just hire lawyers? No. Okay, but then I thought I'm like, okay, what if they got the wrong ACON? Why? Because he's known to be, his brothers are known for actually imitating ACON. Hilarious. And remember when he came over, here like earlier this year he talked
Starting point is 00:49:47 about it and same thing the warrant listen one of my brother got caught though and he got caught real bad he didn't realize I had a warrant and he took off one of my cars while I was out of town and was speeding down the highway and he got stopped the cop was like okay can I see your license registration you know what I'm saying he's like well you know I left my license but
Starting point is 00:50:03 you'll definitely know who I am if I gave you my name no way so what's your name? I'm like yeah so what's your name child but they call me ACON you know that's my name oh he said oh wow you're the ACON He said, yeah, yeah. He said, okay, well, no problem. Nothing's going to be fine.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Let me just checking the computer, make sure, you know, you're clearing and then registration and everything's up to date, and then we'll let you go. You're like, I'll come back. He said, oh, sir, I'm sorry. I need you to step out of the clock. Fortunately, man, I check, you got a bench warrant, man.
Starting point is 00:50:29 I got to take you where. And he said, no, no, I'm not him. I'm his brother. I'm not a brother. I'm the brother. I'm the president. So basically what happened to his brother back of the day literally happened to Acon now.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Yeah, like for real. Yeah. So yes, Angie, he knows he has warrants. Yeah, he does. Acon for show knows. You know you got warrants. More and more I'm finding out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:54 Like, he has a really cool voice, really kind. Acon, Discover Lady Gaga, Super Poppin, wants to create like a Wakanda type of infrastructure in city in Africa. Like, he has great intentions. But this fulls a G. He's crazy. Like, this fulls a G. Yeah, he gets down with it.
Starting point is 00:51:10 Maybe that locked up song. He's like, yeah. Yeah, I was locked up. What's up? GZ had came in here, Snowman himself, and he was talking like how he knew Akeme from the streets. Yeah, like they know, they know about each other. Shut at Akeman. Get your license, bro.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Yeah, well, actually, he's out. He got booked and he was out like within six hours. Still get your license, bro. And insurance. So please. Yeah. That's what I meant about like I thought. Out within six hours?
Starting point is 00:51:32 Yeah. Well, I mean, that's why he has lawyers, right? That's what I was saying, like, maybe he for real forgot. You can't forget that, Angie. Okay. I miss my insurance payment for the. three days and I'm over here like I'm going to jail. Like, well, that's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:45 That's what I think. Especially when you're telling yourself in that we are at Burbank and Almond Avenue. I paid it. I paid it. Okay, okay. All right. You got to have insurance? Yes, it's the law.
Starting point is 00:51:55 Yeah. Yeah. Car insurance. Well, mostly that's going to be like a, like you got to show that you got insurance later in court. Oh, yeah. When he goes. It's like essentially like a fixed ticket might kind of maybe.
Starting point is 00:52:05 All right. What's up? All right. But like this, let's move on to someone else because Kim Kardashian, you guys, she has not been having the best week. Like, we learned she's not passed the bar exam. Yep. And now she's under fire for La Norteña, because of Northwest, her oldest daughter.
Starting point is 00:52:20 She showed up, like, she posted some pictures of her new piercings, and people are mad because she's actually got two piercings in her fingers, and they're not regular piercings. Yeah. One of them's actually called a surface piercing where it pretty much goes in one side and then comes out like on the other, almost like a hook. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:52:39 And then she got another one. a dermal piercing and that has only one entryway. I want to say it's like almost like you stick like a diamond in and there's no on her fingers. On her fingers and people are just mad saying like Kim, how did you allow this? Things like that, right? And at first I know like there was like some picture surfacing about like north with those piercings. And they were saying like it's all fake.
Starting point is 00:53:04 It's during Halloween. Things like that. But turns out that these things, this new piercing, they're actually real. Okay. What's the problem with it? She's a kid. She's 12 years old though. And that's what people are getting so mad saying like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:53:17 Like she's really young. These piercings can actually get infected. There was a girl. What? I had my tongue pierced that 14 dog. You know how popular the dimples piercing was back in the day? Everybody got their dimples pierced. Yes.
Starting point is 00:53:31 On your face? Yes, girl. Back in the day. Like you're Erika. No, there's no way. No, we were doing the, no, we were doing like three on the tongue with a needle that they sew with. Yeah. The whole like tequila era?
Starting point is 00:53:43 Tequila. Yes. What? No, it's that one lady from VH1. She had piercings on her dimples, but people started doing that later. People were not in school giving themselves dimple piercings, dog. There was a lot of people doing piercings in my school. And your school is not our era.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Literally you said concrete era. I would say my era would be the last era of doing piercings like that. Like you guys were doing crazy piercings. We were doing crazy piercings. That's why I don't see this as a problem. Like, she's a kid doing. No, dude, they're going in. her. And I know like,
Starting point is 00:54:13 Kim has been getting like a lot of backlash, even like the way that North has been addressing and things like that. And she's actually addressed it and saying, like, give me grace. I just think anyone that's raising kids, especially for kids by myself, I'm doing the best that I can. And I just urge everyone to like
Starting point is 00:54:29 not be judgmental and to have grace. You get it. She's doing her best. Yeah, that's what she's saying. I get like, it's like we're like, like, like North pops out looking a certain way and North pops out like, I guess like, with piercings and all that and no one's ever like Kanye everyone's always like Kim yeah no you're right
Starting point is 00:54:47 okay and a lot of that stems from like low-key they're kids of divorced parents a public divorce that they're fighting back and forth publicly no but that's going to do a lot to a kid and again like it's just trying to be understanding of that child because now what we're doing by scrutinizing a 12 year old you think that kid's gonna grow up normal already based off who that kid's parents are
Starting point is 00:55:07 yeah that is true but what do we want for North to keep going in there emo face. No, like, what do we want for her? How do you want us here? And why is it our job to say how she should look? Why? That is true. I guess what would we want? You want her? You want her in a church? Or how do we want North?
Starting point is 00:55:23 No, I know. What would be the right answer? And I think with people like a Kim or a Kanye or anyone that's famous, it can never be the right way. Literally never be the right way that they're doing it. Yeah. Makes headlines. North can come out and I don't know. She could say the Pledge of Allegiance and it'll be like, well, look at her. Look at the agenda of their point. pushing. It'll be one way.
Starting point is 00:55:43 Yeah. Those piercings are horrible. They're, I wouldn't suggest that. Like for yourself? I wouldn't like that for my kids. But I was also a kid that didn't care what my mom said sometimes or didn't care what my dad said sometimes because they were going through a divorce. You know, they couldn't tell me anything.
Starting point is 00:55:58 I was the one that got the piercing under my, under my lip. I got the tongue piercing. Me too. I had that one. Yes. But it's like, that's not my mom's fault. No. It's just you're rebellious. It's just, like, how is it?
Starting point is 00:56:11 the way you're expressing yourself. Like, I would literally sneak freaking mini skirts in my backpack to wear them at school. But if someone I caught that, like, wow, look at your mom, going through the divorce and not literally doing her daughter do this. It's like, no, she wouldn't let me either. I'll do this behind her back. She didn't take me to Claire's attitude in the restroom. Oh, that's even more dangerous. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Can you had the under lip piercing? I had the under the lip piercing. I had my nose pierced like two, pop. And was it your mom's spot? No, not even. Nobody should be. It was a party cruise fault. It was a party cruise fault.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Why did your mom let you go out like that, though? She didn't let me go out. See? She had no choice. Yeah. That's why Kim was saying, like, give me grace. Like, why is it that North? Like, anything, like, you guys don't say anything about her friends.
Starting point is 00:56:56 They're dressing the same way, but it's always about North. And honestly, I feel like Loki Kim, because I guess with the footage we've seen of her trying to talk to North, you could tell that's, it's a deserperada. And she's like, North, just please don't be doing that. And North is like, girl, you're not going to tell me. what to do. She's in that phase. Yeah, pre-teen. And almost because her mom's like, you know, we got to keep up a certain image. Then people will be like, why she got to make her daughter keep up a certain image. It would just be a whole thing. It's a lose, loose with it.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Welcome to parenting. Lachimmy cakes. Yes, it's going to be a lot and it's going to be more of this. Oh, yeah, for sure. Hey, you guys want to talk about Becky G. Of course I want to talk about Becky G. Shout up Becky G. Her fans are mad at her. They are. Why are they met her, Greg? You know this. Because we all know that they don't like her man. Yeah. They don't like her man at all. And there's a picture going around online right now that her man was at a family party with her.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Yeah. And they all thought that they were broken up. Yes. That they were done. She was previously engaged to a soccer player and he stepped outside of that relationship, you know, got caught up in the club. So she like took down all the photos for like, broke up with him. It was no longer engaged to him. And it seems like through the men, it's spending a couple years, no?
Starting point is 00:58:09 Yeah, that they may have started talking again. Clearly there was love there, but never out in the open. Like, she's made sure, like, you know what, I'm not posting you. Like, you don't deserve it yet. Yeah. I did all of that. You made me look stupid, all of that, right? And he's probably sought help, too.
Starting point is 00:58:22 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But there's a family photo. And now her family. His family are, like, livid. Because she's there with him. She's there. Yeah. She's posing with him.
Starting point is 00:58:32 And I know, like, there's been always, like, speculations that they are back together. Like, she likes his pictures. They still follow each other. Yeah, yeah. So, like, As fans, like, we kind of know, but, like, seeing that picture was just like, you're like, and she hasn't addressed it. So, fans are just mad. A-visis nos metemos.
Starting point is 00:58:49 What is she always? I'm like, okay, like, because he's probably done hell of work. Yeah, dude, this happened, like, they got engaged in 2022. I believe they broke up, like, 2023, so maybe five years that they've been. That's, that's, that's basically a situation ship now. And I'm mad because, like, I want, I want them to be broken up. That, like, respect. respectfully, I want them to be broken up
Starting point is 00:59:10 because I always feel like if I ever met her, my shot's there. I got it. I can lock her in right there in there. I can. Help out your homie, concrete, please. From his delusion. Sometimes we got a little bit.
Starting point is 00:59:21 I don't know, but, you know, this sounds like Nikki went back to Eddie. I don't know. That's what I meant what it sounds like right here. In the homie help. Yeah, okay. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:30 And it took years. Yeah, five years. And it took like getting there. See, Eddie? Don't worry. Dog, just chill. That could be your Becky G. That could be your Becky G is crazy.
Starting point is 00:59:40 I mean, you're not a handsome soccer player and a millionaire at that, but I don't know. Maybe you could be. Thank you. Celebrities have had it. You guys? Taking things too far. Yes, taking it too far. And we're specifically talking about the voice of God, the one and only Morgan Freeman.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Here's how criminals start to talk about Alcatraz. If you don't follow society's rules, you go to prison. If we don't follow the prison rules, you end up in Alcatraz. Oh. That iconic voice. Yeah. I would want him to narrate everything I do. You know, yesterday we were at the premiere of being Eddie on Netflix, Eddie Murphy, right?
Starting point is 01:00:24 And Eddie talks about, like, he did Beverly Hills Cop. And I guess after that is when a lot of other black actors got a lot of leading roles. Yeah. And one of those, like, up-incomeers. was Morgan Freeman and they showed a photo of like Morgan or posted a clip of Morgan Freeman in his first movie ever. Yeah. He literally looks the same as right now. Like he's like that full face has stayed the same like he's just popped out looking and sounding like Morgan Freeman. Yeah. Which trip me out that long ago. Also that Eddie Murphy was before is wild. Like I would have
Starting point is 01:00:55 totally put it in like yeah, like yeah. But Eddie's been in show business for like about to be 50 years. Yeah. Yeah. It's crazy. But Morgan Freeman, he's tired of it. He's sick and he's sick and he's He's so pissed off of people. No, of people using his voice for A-I. He hates it so much that he actually came out and made a statement about it. He said, I'm a little pissed off. Don't mimic me with falseness. I don't appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:01:22 And I get paid for doing stuff like that. So if you're not, if you're going to do it without me, you are robbing me. He feels robbed out of all the jobs and opportunities that he could get from using his voice. Because people are A-I-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-voice. Like a couple months ago, a girl went viral for using his voice doing Get Ready videos with me. Get ready with me. Narrated by Morgan Freeman. As a stylist, she's using pantine conditioner, I think.
Starting point is 01:01:45 It's a little hard to read backwards. Anyways, now she is finally starting to put product. The hair. It's curly and looks alive. Okay, thought we were done, but I guess not. She's now using a blow dryer with a claw thing attached. She's also adding baby hairs. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:01 So that's not really Morgan Freeman. That's not Morgan Freeman. And that girl also who posted it. said that she was the niece of Morgan Freeman, which was God, which was also a lie as well. And you know, that was before we all got hip to people using fake voices and stuff on on ChiI and stuff like that, so you could get away with it. Yeah, now you could tell it.
Starting point is 01:02:21 I was like, nah, that ain't him or whatever. But no, no, but you could fall for it back then, especially because people weren't like deep faking voices like that. Yes. And he's going to take legal action against everybody that's using it. He's already him and his team. have already found a whole bunch of different types of programs and stuff like that. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:41 They're trying to take everything down of his voice. Yeah. So you cannot use it at all. We saw that. That's what Eddie should have done with the poem. He should have had Morgan Freeman do it. Eddie. From the home of the pipeline.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Yeah. Yeah. If you were tuned in for that, you know what we're talking about Eddie. Sorry. All right. But yes, when he, when Eddie, excuse me, when Morgan Freeman does this stuff, his voice is at a certain caliber. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:06 You know, then it's like now getting ready with me videos. Yeah. There's also like other videos as well where people are using his voice. You can tell there's a little bit, like it's a little bit off, but it still sounds exactly like him. I am not Morgan Freeman. That does not sound like him at all. That sounds like him. No, it doesn't.
Starting point is 01:03:22 It sounds like him, but there's tinginess in AI that makes it like totally you could tell that it's AI. Play the original again and what? I want to put him side by side. Look, this is the original. Original? Here's how criminals start to talk about Alcatraz. All right. I am not Morgan Freeman.
Starting point is 01:03:38 No. No, they don't. I was like all the YouTube videos of brain rot ones that they said. Yeah. Just people talking. You can tell on that one. What? I would have fell for it.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Of course you would have. It sounds exactly like him. Yeah, it's you. It sounds like the sucker type to me too. Oh, wow. You feel like you would offer fake voices. Wow. Okay, but Morgan Freeman now seeking legal action is really important because
Starting point is 01:03:58 everybody is using all of this stuff now. It's free range. That's the same thing that happened. with Sora too that they were using the likeness of Tupac, using the likeness of like Kobe and stuff. Now that's, first they got to do it to know like what should be the restrictions, unfortunately. Yeah. Like some, a couple people got to get through and then, oh, no, we can't do that and now restrict it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:18 I think he probably hates the, like, I would hate it if somebody's using my voice in a bad way. Like you could have them say anything. You'll use your voice in a bad way. Sue yourself. Damn, can I? Can I get my own money? Wait, can I make your mom? I don't have to pay for it.
Starting point is 01:04:32 All right, check this out. There's video circulating online and they're viral of Ariana Grande at the Wicked Premiere. And a guy is like bum rushing her and puts his arm around her. And it's a really scary moment. You see her like really tense up and feel nervous that this guy kind of jumped in and took a photo with her. He immediately got arrested. Well, I guess kicked out. Security handled him.
Starting point is 01:04:57 And Loki, her co-star, handled him really well. So big up to Cynthia. To Cynthia, too. but in looking at this guy, people are starting, and you can check out the video, Brown Bag Mornings 106 on Instagram, but in looking at that guy,
Starting point is 01:05:09 it seems like he does it often. Not only did he bumrush Ariana during this Wicked premiere, he's also bumrush the stage during Katie Prairie's performance, also the weekend and even the chain smokers. And every time, it's really
Starting point is 01:05:22 Loki messed up because he posted it on his Instagram. And he's like, for example, the Ariana one, he posted it and he said, thank you, Ariya. Dear Ariana, thank you for letting me jump on the yellow carpet with you and a heart. And it's like she didn't let you, dog.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Like this woman is scared, you know? Not for nothing, but baby girls been through some things. One of her concerts got shot up and she, like, there was a lot that got. I was an explosive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was explosive. But it's like that type of trauma, then you see just someone running at you. That's pretty scary. And for the weekend one, I'm looking at the video.
Starting point is 01:05:55 This will, he did it for 400 likes. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, so that's the thing? You got to start somewhere. You got to start somewhere. That's how you're going to start. You're going to bum rush the stage and like scare people and for 400 likes? I guess just the when you post it saying thank you.
Starting point is 01:06:11 You know, it says weekend, thank you, Abel, for letting me stay on stage, fire emoji. And I'm just wondering, they should probably have this guy's photo up. Yeah. Yeah, like a warning. At events. They should be watching them the second that he walks through the door. Like, I don't know. It's just.
Starting point is 01:06:26 It's crazy. It's crazy. From all concerts. It seems to be happening in a lot of events. It seems to be happening in Australia because at least the Ariana Grande premiere was in Australia. And then he hashtags Sydney with the one of chain smokers and Melbourne with the one of the weekend. And Katie Perry's hashtag Sydney is too. So you just got to be careful out there.
Starting point is 01:06:45 This will is around. He has a very striking face too and hairstyle. I'll like this. I hope he hears me saying out of like him either. Concrete. You ever been bum rushed on stage? Like people run up. And like we do live shows.
Starting point is 01:06:57 We encourage it. It's like, is this time and place, you know? Yeah, do you know what? I have a lot of male followers and a lot of people go to my shows and all. Yeah, I mean, they get a little crazy. They do get a little crazy. They throw their shirts and their hats and their hats. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:07:11 They throw their shirts and hats at you? Yeah. Wow. So you just have a bunch of shirtless men in the crowd or they bring extra? I think they come shirtless. This one's for you, peri-to. With skin tags it all. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Let's talk about another rapper. we love our guy j cole now when you think of j cole we all on the do you want to do you want to be cool vibes yeah super chill very kind very nice very zen the bob marley of hip hop like just super kind super awesome right what gregg i thought it was anything like my first time she was in my math class that's you and that's fine that's in the same album dreams when you think of j cole uh but when you think of j cole you kind of see him as this zen master oh yeah however It wasn't always like that.
Starting point is 01:08:01 And it's funny because now more and more things are popping up about Cole, which I will stand tentals down. This is a really nice guy. Really nice, great guy. But it seems like he's getting sued by Cameron. He's in a beef with Kendrick last year. And now another one of his homies, Wal-Lay, is putting J. Cole on blast for getting a little too turned up on his own tour manager. Now, let me set the stage for you.
Starting point is 01:08:27 It's Jay-Z's the Blueprint Tour. Waleh, Jay-Cole, J-Cole, they're there. And apparently they go up to Jay-Z's suite for some reason. The tour manager somehow gets them down back into the bus, maybe rushes them back to the bus or makes them leave the suite. And then Waleigh perceives to tell the story that J-Cole turned up on him. Check this out. And all I remember is Cole going to add it with the tour manager.
Starting point is 01:08:57 Bro, I never, to this day, like I've never seen him that, man. Like he was really mad. And he's like so zend out in him. I'm like, I never forget that, man. It was something about like, like, why did you try to go to Jay Sweet or something like that? Or why are you rushing us back? It was something like that. All I know is I was just in shock.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Like, this guy, like, he's always going to telling me I'm crazy. I'm like, you crazy. Like, take someone that's been crazy to tell you to stop being crazy. Okay. Leave Jake Cole alone. Crazy boy. And his tour manager is really nice. Big up to Casey.
Starting point is 01:09:25 I'm wondering if it was something that I don't want to put it on J. on hope but like me he's like get these kids out of my my oh like they were young in the game too like they were like oh I'm about to get my shot while they also mentioned he had said something to upset jZ during that tour oh yeah yeah yeah so it's like dude get these brats out of my i understand they were being mean or like turning up on their own tour yeah i don't know it happens you know tour tour life is a lot you know just being on the road can you ever you have the rep too like you're the peritos perito like you are that man you know you're so kind, you're there for your dogs.
Starting point is 01:10:02 But has it ever been where you had to turn up on somebody? Oh, for sure. Oh, for sure. I'm Marty because he's booking crazy flights at 4 o'clock in the morning. And that's my tour manager. Greg is just like nodding his head. Like tour managers, they deserve their own day the way they get yelled at by people. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:10:19 No, he's good. He takes care of us, though. But every now and then, man, it's like, bro, why'd you book this flight at 3 a.m.? Just to say $36, don't. Come on.
