Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more brown bag, the better. Come on. Sparrow when it was six. LA's number one for hip-a-manos-iz. Good morning. It's a blessing to be here with you. Anleti. Greg's here.
Starting point is 00:00:14 Concrete's here. Yon. Y's here. I feel like I got her sick. You got her sick? We got to stop making out. See what you did call? Whoa.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Whoa. Wait, wait. Hold on. Prove it. Prove you make out her. Bring out with your hand right now. Yeah, Angie's out. But, you know, we're going to have a great time.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Wish her well. I got to tell you all, I didn't think this John Cena thing was as big as it turned out to be. Oh, no. Men crying. Oh, yeah. Whole thing. Yep. No longer in wrestling.
Starting point is 00:00:43 Yeah. My six-year-old comes up to me yesterday. These kids don't watch wrestling. They don't. But they watch YouTube. And he comes up when he's like, Mom, it's a sad day. What, baby? John Cena and did his career.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Bro, you're six. What does that even mean, bro? I'm like, do you even know what his career? is on TV. He does wrestling. Bro, and then we had like a cute little family reunion last night. It was my dad's 75th birthday, so we had all our cousins over. And all the kids were doing a tribute to John Cena wrestling each other.
Starting point is 00:01:15 That same six-year-old comes in with a bloody nose. I was like, what were you guys doing? It was for John Cina, mom. So you even have kids that don't know smack about the sport but are like still turning up in honor of John Cina. And I'm sure for the kids like you guys that watched it, it's even. Oh, yeah, for sure. Little Vick was crying. We're at a place and he's just crying.
Starting point is 00:01:35 I'm like, this is the happiest place ever. Don't. You know what I'm saying? And then he's just like, it's just so sad. And then I'm like, but it's all so happy. Like he did a whole 20 year career. He's like, I know, Dad. I'm just like, all right.
Starting point is 00:01:49 I'm going to give you like five minutes, but you got to get it together after that. Yeah. But he was literally like sad. You know what I'm saying? Whatever they did it get in the emotions. They do a great job. Yeah, the storytelling and stuff like that. I wasn't too, like, I was happy for him, but I also didn't watch the match in full because I'm, like, walking around and like stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:02:06 But I'm going to rewatch it and who knows, I might share the tear to. You never know. Yeah. I don't know. Good. I've never been a really John Cena fan. I've always thought it was corny. Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Yeah. You and him have something in common. What? People think of corny. Oh. It's because you're a little younger. Like, you didn't see him when he was actually cool. He was like, he was pretty corny for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:02:26 He was, he was corny. No. No. No, I'm telling you. When he was the man bro, like, it was just crazy. He was really corny for a bit. When he was the doctor of Thuganomics, like, you didn't see that era. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:02:37 Word life. Country, what about it? I'm ready to see more, just more films from him, more movies. He liked him in film. No, really, but also. That being, that's big age. Yeah. I think the sweet spot is Vick's age.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Yeah. Like, younger than you, a little bit older than, don't get it. No, yeah, because he got really big in, like, 2004, 2005. I was probably like 14 or something, like 13. And it was like, he was cool. Dr. Thugganomics. That just doesn't sound cool though. He sold like 150,000 CDs the first week.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Yes. Available at Walmart. I remember the commercial and everything. Yeah, it was lit. Like he had, even his theme song now is still fire. Yeah. He did a song with MERS. It was legendary.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Don't try to reel me in. He did. He did. He picked up a kid in the video and he threw it. him in the trash cat. I don't want to hear. He's done some legendary stuff though. I'll give him that.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Like as a wrestler, he's done some dope things. Como? Like what? Like the matches that he's had. Oh, okay. Yeah, he's had some good matches. Okay, I guess. But I'm just seeing it like resonate throughout, even people I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:03:46 I'm seeing grown men posting their crying on Instagram as well. I was like, Vic, get this out of your question. We don't need to see. That's the equivalent to me seeing Kobe retire, I guess. Yeah. You cried? Oh, for sure. What?
Starting point is 00:04:01 Yeah. Yeah, for sure. I cried like he was my co-worker leaving. Like, oh, after 20 years. After 20 years. Well, LeBron's next. Yeah, that's what everybody's posting. Everybody's saying like, yo, if this is what John Cena's doing in people, then wait until
Starting point is 00:04:14 LeBron retire. But where? Where will he retire? Here. No. Oh, you guys. Come on. He's going to retire in Cleveland.
Starting point is 00:04:24 I don't know. He should. He should. He should retire. He should retire in Cleveland. moment. Yeah. He should retire in Cleveland because if he retires in LA, no one will be crying.
Starting point is 00:04:30 He might retire after this season, you guys. Okay. I don't know. He still goes a lot. We'll see. That make money move. That make money move. I swear to God, I started money moves so that, like, we could be like, oh, it's up.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Come get the bag. And now all the money moves is like, hey, you're about to get charged for that. Get ready. Okay. So this holiday season, a lot of us are doing online shopping. Sometimes when you online shop, get for yourself for other people. And you need to return because you're trying it out at home. And you're like, oh, that don't look like that.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Oh, yeah. Happens to me all the time. I don't know. It'll be so tight around the belly. Bro, I order, like, UK places. UK and U.S., very different sizes. Oh, yeah. I think I'm a four in UK.
Starting point is 00:05:11 They're like, uh-uh, you ain't a stick. I was like, oh, okay. Yeah, their sizes are, like, different. Their size will make you feel fat. Anyway, now return fees. Let's say you buy something online and then you have to ship it back to get returned are going to be up in prices. I'm going to tell you these are all retailers that we go to and they're saying, uh-uh, uh, if you're trying to send something back,
Starting point is 00:05:31 we're going to charge you for that off your total refund. Okay, so Marshalls is charging $11.99 off of a return package if you have to return something. T.J. Max, the same. 1199. Macy's $999, J.C. Penny, $8. J. Crew, $750. Okay? Literally, if you have to return a package, it's going to cost you low-key more than the thing you bought.
Starting point is 00:05:54 So what about if you're the stuff you bought is $11. 99. You're screwed. You're in debt. Isn't that messed up? Yeah. This is terrible because I'm already super, like, insecure
Starting point is 00:06:04 about returning anything. Yeah. And I never want to return anything. I'll just keep it in the bag with the receipt just in case one day. Just in case I lose 10 pounds? I'm going to keep it. I'm with you, bro.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Yeah. This is why online shopping is not always the best. Yeah. So they're going to charge you the restocking fee because it's going to take somebody to get, receive that package, take, like, open it up, put it back in the shelf,
Starting point is 00:06:25 and all of that. So you have to pay somebody to do their job. Yeah. Yeah. No. Mm-hmm. Dole. Dole.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Dole much. One thing you can do is if you want to online return, go to the store and return it there. But that Loki takes the purpose of online shopping because you didn't want to go to the store. I got to get out of my car. In the first place. Got to find parking? Yeah. Where's my parking fee?
Starting point is 00:06:48 Or just re-gift it to somebody. Yeah, my reparting fee. Wow. Yeah. You can re-gift it. That's a good idea. Re-gift it. Re-gift it.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Re-gift it. They're gifted. All right. How'd you like your hat? It's amazing. It's amazing. How you turn your own mic? God, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Trying to silence yourself. It was good. It was whack anyways, people. Don't worry. Not bad. Okay. Trying to take away the holiday joy from some more. You know those cars that have all the lights?
Starting point is 00:07:20 Yes. Yeah. I see them around the Americana all the time. Gendell, shout out to all my Armenian homies. I see what you're doing and it's for a good cause to bring Christmas cheer. But now it's also going to bring tickets. Law enforcement.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Yes, they say they're about to start getting distraction and road safety tickets to people that are with all the bright lights. Let's see, that's not a distraction. That brings me joy and holly jolly Christmas to my heart. That's not a distraction. I feel better from having a bad day and I see one of those cars with the stupid lights on it. I'm like, yes. Super lights.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Yes. Because I look at it like that took you a long time, bro. It's creative. That took you a long time. Yeah. You did that. You did that. And then it's going to look.
Starting point is 00:08:04 He stripped the paint from your car when it's done. That's a little salvage title anyways. It's such a nice little car looking. If you've seen it, you know it. It did distract you. So I get it. But law enforcement, they say, look, lighting on cars is strictly regulated. That's why even like the LED lights on.
Starting point is 00:08:24 and all of that. Just because you need those lights. Getting father also, dude. I know. And scoffing and all of that. Festive lights can distract other drivers, be mistaken for emergency vehicle lighting, or block headlights, signals, or license plates.
Starting point is 00:08:37 There's no way. I've never seen that car and I'm like, here comes a cop. Never, ever, ever. I know, I've seen that car like, here comes Santa. Like, you think of nice things, but apparently it's too much and it's a violation.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Okay. You may receive warning or citations with fines varying by state. Let me ask you this. Have you ever seen red and blue lights and they distracted you? Yes. But they're meant to. Like, it's their intention. I know what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:09:04 I know what you're saying. Distraction. Well, I'm thinking, not going to lie, I love all my trucker homies. Well, bro, your lights, to me, I feel like a Christmas cheer. True. Some of the big rigs that have like the lights located all around. All over the place. They have a lot of them.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Yeah. But maybe they also needed to. It's even worse when you have stigmatism. Oh, yeah. It just looks like. It looks like. It just looks like... It just looks like a party.
Starting point is 00:09:28 You give me the cops the reason. Never mind. You know what, guys don't do it. I'm distracted right now. That was money moves. Let's get into scrollingando. Scrolling with zombies. What's up, bro?
Starting point is 00:09:43 There's a college quarterback going viral for the way that he thanked his grandparents in a speech. This college quarterback is the name of Fernando Mendoza. He plays for Indiana University. college. Uh-huh. He's going viral right now because the way that he congratulated his grandparents on winning his Heisman Trophy Award, listen to this. And for my grandparents, for the amor and sacrifice of my fathers and abuelos,
Starting point is 00:10:05 I want much. Of all my carousan, of all the grazi. And I recorri, bro, he won the He's good. That's tight. Top on here. Yeah, so players like Reggie Bush, Joe Burrell, Tim Tebow, and so many legends have that. They've all won that.
Starting point is 00:10:22 They've all won the Heardtrophy Award. Grascha. He reminds me of this speech that they have in the bridesmaids. To everyone here, Grasias, para vivar in La Casa, in Lasuas, and the Azul.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Greg. Greg, Do a speech right now in Spanish. Thank us. Thank us. Brown bag, everybody listening. Do it, go ahead. My gente,
Starting point is 00:10:48 thanks for all the the ganadores of all those trophies de me gustan el the year
Starting point is 00:10:58 see there you go see you sound just just like a he's nervous he won a hyzman Greg knows
Starting point is 00:11:03 DJ Spanish yeah yeah yeah my people Latinos Latinos
Starting point is 00:11:10 that is accurate that is very accurate yeah no you know it was touching
Starting point is 00:11:17 there's another part where he talks about his mom oh my gosh, I teared up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Because he was like, this is just as much for you as it was for me. All my dedication, the way that I am as a person. Like, everything comes from, like, how you raise me. Oh, my gosh, I was in tears. Yeah. Him and his family, they're all Cuban. Yeah. So I was waiting for that Cuban accent because since we worked with a lot of Cuban,
Starting point is 00:11:37 I was like, oh, it's not accurate. Never one. Oh, I was. What accent are you talking about? I don't know. I don't know. They feel like they sound like normal. No.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Oh, yeah. I was about to do it. Like, hello, but that's the wrong one. That's the wrong one? Well, that's the wrong one. I just thought it was... All the Caribbeaners. Are they Caribbean?
Starting point is 00:11:54 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was funny that I was like, I haven't seen a Heisman speech or like somebody cried in a minute. And I'm like, we left it to the Latino to cry, but we are that type of people. No, dog, he cried during talking to his mom. No, I know. But I'm like, yeah, we are like, that would have cried too, honestly. Or he was watching John Cena say goodbye. That's funny. He was very tough.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Okay, so he's like, what is it? It's a quarterback? Quarterback. He's a quarterback. So he's killing it. Yeah. Is he mean in the NFL? He might go to the...
Starting point is 00:12:26 To where? The Raiders. Shut off! Yeah. That's the micro-looking... Honestly, the Raiders need any help they can get. Yeah, honestly, to be, like, now that I think about it, maybe that's why he was crying. How can you tell where people are going to go?
Starting point is 00:12:40 Because he's going to be drafted top of the draft. And the Raiders have the number two pick. Yeah, Raiders have the number two pick right now. Who's worse than this? The Titans. But they already have a quarterback. So the Titans might take to him. No, because they got Cam Ward last year as the number one overall pick.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Yeah, so maybe he was just like looking into his future as a raider. The raiding needs to draft the Lord himself, Doctor, save that. Hold on a redact. They need to draft Jesus Christ himself, God, save that, for a favor. And God on the offensive line. You got to look at this fool, though. You couldn't tell that he spoke Spanish at all. No, yeah, I didn't think so.
Starting point is 00:13:19 You've got to see Brownback Morning's 106 on Instagram. And I want to play off my phone the moment that he teared out talking to his mom. Mommy, this is your trophy as much as mine. You've always been my biggest fan. You're my light. You're my why. You're my biggest supporter. Your sacrifices, courage, love.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Those have been my first playbook and the playbook that I'm going to carry through my side through my entire life. You told me that toughness doesn't need to be loud. It can be quiet and strong. It's choosing hope. It's believing in yourself when the world doesn't give you much reason to. Together, you and I are rewriting what people think is possible. Bro. That's good.
Starting point is 00:13:58 That's good. Yeah. That is a future rater. Hey. I love that. Because don't they have Tom Brady too? Like in the other stuff? They do.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Not even now. Not even Tom Brady itself. All right. Thank you for that, Greg. Yes. But we do have a Monday matchup too. We do have a Monday matchup. Match me up.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Yep. You keep saying that specifically. To Greg. Say matchup in Spanish. Mierkoles. That's Wednesday. Salmode. Lunes.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Oh, yeah. I don't know my days. The homies said Wednesday. Say mashup. I don't know that. Mash up? How do you say mashed potatoes in Spanish? Concrete?
Starting point is 00:14:43 How do you say potatoes in Spanish? Papas. Oh. Papas Revas. Rewult. Lunez. Ew.
Starting point is 00:14:55 What did you got? We got the Quinceanita vibes going right here. I know every Tia is going to want to have this matchup on their playlist this Christmas because I did the Oneos three, four. Hey, I'm down. With a little. Feliz Navinas. Let's see how that sounds right here on Brownback Mornings.
Starting point is 00:15:10 And we got the weather with concrete right after. Keep it here. It's by 106. DJ Greg Steve. Not all, but I love still. He just dance like Donald Trump. Bro, play that while you're rapping presents, you're going to finish like this.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Yeah. No bump needed. No. Bro, it's the holiday. No Christmas spirit needed. Aye, yeah, yeah, yeah. That was tight, bro. Thank you, thank you.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Feliz. I like it. I like it. And now, the weather. Oh, hell the dog. With concrete storm. Perritos, it is going down. down for the weather Monday, December 15th, and winter is back.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Yes. The winter is back. First drop to the city of San Pedro, a bunch of sick-ass fools, all infermos. Your high is 67 degrees. Next, we pull up to the city of Artizia, where fools get turnt like their name is Sharquisha. Wow, throwback. Sharkisha, no. World Star.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Your high is 72 degrees. Now we go above the speed limit to the same. city of Irwindale. Shout-outs to my Disney homies, Chipendale, kicked it with them this past weekend. Your high is 75.
Starting point is 00:17:34 That's all right. And lastly, we go put in work in the city of Vernon where fools go, where fools work hard, got my back hurt. Wait, hold the. The fools have your back hurt?
Starting point is 00:17:45 Nah, wait. Hold on. Just say it. That didn't come out. That didn't come out. That's not, that's the way I wrote it. The way I thought of it.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Lastly, we put in work in the city of Vernon, foods worked so hard, they got my back, that doesn't sound wrong. No, no. They worked so hard, they got my back hurt. Yeah, like, they work so hard my back hurt. You're back hurt. Not that they work hard on your back. No, that's not, that whole thing didn't sound like.
Starting point is 00:18:10 Stay away from there. Stay away from there. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. That didn't sound right, Perritos. Anyway, the city of Vernon, your high is going to be 72 today. And if you guys didn't know, the city of Vernon is one of the smallest cities in the U.S.
Starting point is 00:18:24 by population with fewer than 100. residents. You guys know that dog? What? Yeah, you should never be anybody that lives in burning. Nobody lives in It's all industrial. Only a hundred dudes and it's all security guards, bro. Yeah, I hope so. It's all security guards. I hope all the warehouses have the little house. Yes, a couple dogs, you know? So anyways, City of Vernon, if you guys want to move there, the
Starting point is 00:18:47 real estate is really cheap guys. Nice. You don't know that. It's price still expensive. I don't. I don't. I don't know. Hey, San Pedro, you're going to be six, seven, Today. Artisia with Sharkey. Show it. You're going to be 72 degrees. Irwindale, 75, the city of Vernon, 72 degrees. It's your boy, Conkney.
Starting point is 00:19:07 For Brownback mornings. I'll be back tomorrow. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homie or need some help. We need your help. We need a line. I mean phone line. We've got you for. The homie help line. Lizzie needs our help.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Lizzie. Lizzie hit us up and said, hi, Brownbag. My name is Lizzie, and I really need some advice. My mother-in-law threatened me and now wants to see the baby for Christmas. She said, last year my boyfriend quit his job to go back to school, so all the bills fell on me. We couldn't keep up and ended up moving in with his family. His mom offered to let us stay with her while I was pregnant. She said, even though she didn't charge us rent, we helped however we could. We'd pick up the kids from school, run errands, all of that.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Everything was going pretty smoothly until August when my baby was born. She began to make a bunch of suggestions about the baby, and she would get really upset when I would disagree. That's when the heated arguments started. I have a 10-year-old son, so I know the doos and don'ts of having a baby. She said, we had a really bad argument in October about the baby's first Halloween costume. She called me out of my name, threatened to put her hands on me while I was holding my newborn, and even told my boyfriend she hated him. when it was finally time to move out things got worse she tried to take back his belongings
Starting point is 00:20:30 blocked us in a room and basically dared my boyfriend to tackle her to get through i ended up having to call the police for a civil standby about three weeks ago my boyfriend has slowly started talking to her again so she called and texted me asking a talk but i didn't respond she wants to see our four-month-old baby but i honestly don't feel safe or respected around her my boyfriend wants to take the baby to see her for Christmas and I really disagree. My question is, am I wrong for not wanting her around our baby right now? And how should I handle this situation with my boyfriend and his mom?
Starting point is 00:21:08 The situation of them talking? Wanting to hang out for Christmas. So hers? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah? Baby mama drama.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Yeah. It's crazy. to me I mean I when my son was born I didn't have like a great relationship with my mom yeah and but who was that whose fault was that yours or hers I would say hers hers okay probably yeah but uh what ended up happening was he was born and it just felt really weird for me to know that my son didn't know his grandma yeah so even though we were like still kind of like beefing or whatever disagreement whatever we want to call it I went to her house And I was like, hey, this is the baby.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Like, hold them for a little bit. And then I was like, all right, I got to go. And then we still didn't really talk. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? But it was just more of like a. You didn't go with boundaries. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:04 It was still more of like a, I just want you to meet your grandson. And then, you know, our issues are not resolved by any means. You know what I'm saying? But you can't say you didn't meet him or I took them away or like didn't present him to you. Right. Yeah. And then I went about my business and we ended up getting cool months later maybe.
Starting point is 00:22:23 that's how I handled it. You know what I'm saying? But it wasn't like she threatened his mom or anything, right? It was just more of a disagreement between me and her. Yeah. And then she's saying she has a problem with like the grandma's doing suggestions for the baby. Yeah. Is that like a big thing too?
Starting point is 00:22:39 Oh, yeah. That's a big one. Like is it a big thing that your mother-in-law steps in and like all these do that? I didn't have too much of a problem with that because I was a young mom. And it's like I would take advice from older women than the family. and I would assume they have the child's best interest, and I think that part can get ego. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Right? But it's all like you can take from them as much as you can, like concedos and stuff like that. So then that part I'm like not as upset about. Like me personally, I, my, when I was a young mom, my suagra at the time, she was a nurse. So to me I'm like, I'm going to take all the game I can get. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:18 You feel me? So I guess that's where I kind of differ in mindset. But she has a 10-year-old son, so she's like, why do I need your advice for? Lizzie does? Yeah. So it's like, why do I need your advice for? I already know what to do. I have a 10-year-old kid right here.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yeah. I'm not a rookie. I don't know. I'll even take my swigras advice now, even though I had a son after. I feel like even having a new baby is you never know more than you. Like, you never know all of it. You can always get more game. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Whether it be, again, another mother in the family, your friends, all of that social media. But people do things differently too. I think that's where it happens. I'm not upset. I'm just saying I'm not upset at that part. The other stuff, the threatening me while I was holding my own kid, that part is where it gets. Yeah, I wanted to throw hands. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:03 That's crazy. Throw hands. My hands are holding the baby. Yeah, no. I can't throw hands on the shirt. I'll kick the baby too. The suggestions of like, that's going to come. That's going to come.
Starting point is 00:24:13 That's a new family. That's also part of their family. And it can get a little irritating, but it's like, hmm. But the, hey, I'm going to beat you up. And that baby. And that baby. I don't know if she said it like that. But that's right to Lizzie.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Put that baby in the crib. And see that my family. No it's your, my, my huo. Go get tested. No, she didn't say all that. Lizzie.
Starting point is 00:24:35 What's up, Lizzie? Hey, Brown Bay. Hi, Lizzie. Hey, Lizzie. Hey, Lizzie. Lizzie, Lizzie, you have removed yourself from a toxic situation,
Starting point is 00:24:46 it seems like. And, you know, now it seems like that toxic situation is trying to, get some time in. And you're just, you're wondering, I'm assuming, whether to really stand your ground and be like, nah, you can't see my, you can't see my kid, or to allow your man and his mom to, to, I guess, see each other again and see the baby. Or are you dead set?
Starting point is 00:25:09 Like, no, this is not happening. No. So right now, like, my thing is, I don't care if he, you know, starts a relationship back with her. Like, that's fine. That's your mom. So I understand like she's going to be in your life. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:25 But this stuff just happened like weeks ago. So I'm like three weeks isn't enough time for somebody to show like they've changed in any way. And my thing is like the only reason she's trying to apologize is so that she can insert herself back in her life. Because it's not the first time that, you know, stuff like this happens. And it's just a cycle. So I'm like, do I really want to keep going with that cycle? And his thing is, like, we don't live with her anymore. So if, you know, like an argument were to come up, like, we can just get up and leave, like, her house or anything.
Starting point is 00:26:03 Yeah. But. Liz, you say it's a cycle. So is the first kid, that's not his kid? Because does she do that? Yeah. No, that's not his kid. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:12 So this will be the first kid you have with him and that's. Yeah. Okay. She's not feeling that. Yeah, I don't think so. She's not feeling that. What? That she has another kid, maybe.
Starting point is 00:26:22 Oh, your Suegra. How does, I guess, how does, because you mentioned something that I'm a little bit confused about because you said that you help you pick up her kids from school. So she has kids that are young, too? They're in college. So she's really sick right now, so she doesn't drive. So when she needs help picking them up, I would go pick them up. Like, she wanted something from the store.
Starting point is 00:26:47 I'm like, okay, I'll go and take. pick it up for you. Okay. Just stuff like that. Yeah. Oh, okay. Her kids in college, they can't drive? No, they don't drive.
Starting point is 00:26:56 It's a weird generation. Remember, they don't drive? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, they don't drive. Right, so she's sick and she still want to throw hands? Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah, tell us about that moment. Exactly, yeah. So it all started for her Halloween.
Starting point is 00:27:10 So I had her Minnie Mouse costume picked out, and she was like throwing in suggestions of, oh, you should do this. you should dress her like this. And I already had, you know, everything bought. And so I told her, like, she wanted to put, like, a white long sleeve onesie and leggings underneath. It was like just something dumb. I decided to go with black. And so she just kept throwing in suggestions.
Starting point is 00:27:37 And then her last comment was, how come you always do, like, the opposite of what I say? You never listen to what I say. And so, yeah. And so my boyfriend wasn't around. He was in Chicago on a work trip. So then when he came back, she told him everything that happened. And then she didn't like that he was kind of siding with me. And that's when she threw out the comment that she hates him.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Hates him? Yeah, that she hated him. And she's like, I hate you, son. The audio. What about the throw hands comment? So there was another argument that me and her had. I honestly don't even remember because it was always like petty stuff. She asked me to move out of her house and so I was like, okay, if you don't want me here, I'm going to move out.
Starting point is 00:28:33 And so she had took me shopping for baby clothing before our baby was here. And she said, oh, and before you leave, make sure you leave all that stuff with me. And so I'm like, okay, so I went through the clothing and I was setting down like the stuff that she had bought for the baby. And apparently she said I was throwing that stuff at her. So she said to comment, throw one more thing at me and I'm going to throw you. And I was like, you see that I have the baby in my hands. Like, why would you want to like put your hands on me right now? And then she said something like as soon as you set the baby down, I'm going to come at you.
Starting point is 00:29:14 And yeah, that was the comment that she needed. Jesus. Are you afraid? Were you afraid at that moment? Like, do you think you can take her? No. I wasn't afraid because she's sick. So she's, like, weak, but I just didn't like that she said that.
Starting point is 00:29:33 Okay. You were like, come at me. I'll knock you out. Because you said you don't feel safe. Yeah, just in the sense, like for my baby, I don't want her to grow up in, like, a toxic environment. Because growing up, I didn't deal with any of that. And he's honestly used to it.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Like, he tells me, like, you just have to understand, like, that's the type of person that she is. And I'm like, but just because that's how she is, it doesn't make it okay. Ah. I see. Yeah, you sound very calm and, like, collective. Yeah. Responsible, you sound like, you know. She's being really guzzle right now.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Yeah. I see a little different. What do you see? Like I see like I Can tell that she's trying to be And it might be my trauma speaking I could tell that she's trying to be involved You know like trying to be like
Starting point is 00:30:25 Okay you're gonna be mini-maid She didn't tell you to change the The cost to do I think she wanted to give her input And like to me I'm like okay Like leggings outside Makes sense because it's cold Halloween You're gonna take them out baby out
Starting point is 00:30:38 Like it doesn't seem like an outrageous Suggest suggestion And you said that you guys Are you over petty things So I'm wondering what part you play in the pettiness too. And, like, just on top of that, you guys are at her crib. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Really, the arguments kind of start, like, between them two. And then, like, she'll insert me, like, oh, why aren't you saying anything? Like, I'm always there for you. Why are you letting him talk to me that way? And so, like, that's also where me and her. Yeah, and you guys are like, no, we're going to. I'm riding with my man and she's like, I'm riding with my girl. How does your man talk to his mom?
Starting point is 00:31:21 They kind of go at each other's necks. I hate you, Mom. But is it disrespectful? Like, is it like, you know, does it cross the line of mother and son? So I would say more so she's the one who crosses the line. Like she just, because he sides with me, she takes it as disrespectful. and so he doesn't call her out of her name like doesn't say anything she said to him that you've heard that you will witness i hate you yeah that's the craziest thing i hate you but she's also like
Starting point is 00:31:56 called him out of his name like just well maybe yeah don't say i get why you're not saying it because we're on the radio yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah she could say the s word the g word yeah okay yeah without saying it say it i don't know like you're a Yeah, there's really no way to say it. Yeah, like you're a Fing B and like just, I don't know. In English? That's harsh. In English, yeah, they're black.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Because they'd be crazy, yeah. It's a perra. Calling yourself a perra. That's crazy, though. That's crazy. Because I think you guys moving out was the right move. Yeah. Because, again, like, I think looking at it's like you guys are in her crib.
Starting point is 00:32:43 You have a, it's you, your man, your new baby, and your other child, right? And so she can take that as reason to Loki have authority over you guys, you know? And I'm sure that to you can feel like, God damn, like I need my own. Like you guys start your own family and to be able to move out totally understandable. And now it's like where your man's looking at it, like, hey, we moved out. We kind of solved the problem of if there's an issue, we don't have to sleep there or stay there. and you're just like maybe that's not enough or it's too soon. Yeah, I just feel like right now it's too soon.
Starting point is 00:33:19 Like I'm not saying she's never like going to be in her life. I just need like more time. Yeah. And have you done petty things to her too? Like I'm assuming you guys know how to push her buttons. Be real. Be real. Come on. No, yeah. I honestly have not like I don't come at her like that.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Where's he at right now? He's at work. Okay. I believe Lizzie. She sounds very calm. But the calm ones are the crazy ones. I think she just stands on business. The calm ones are the crazy ones at the end of the day.
Starting point is 00:33:49 No, she sounds collected. Yeah, I think she just stands on business like, nah, I'm not dealing with this. Let's move out. Boom. Yeah, so you guys moved out. I'm wondering how long were you guys living together with her mom? So I was there in July.
Starting point is 00:34:07 Let me come stay with her, like my last month of pregnancy. and he had been there since January. Okay. Okay. Got you. So since the summer. Exactly. And it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:34:20 Loki, two girls in one house, it's a lot. There's the whole thing. There's the who's the alpha woman, all of that. Plus, you have a baby. You got your thing going on, your hormone. She got her, Aualita, ego to her. So all of that is kind of like on top of each other. I think you guys made the best move of moving out.
Starting point is 00:34:38 But now it's about what happens during the home. holidays. You don't want her. You don't want the baby to go. Not that I, so honestly, he tried taking her over there this weekend, like without even telling me. He just, like, promised that he would bring her. And so when I was telling him, like, no, I don't think, like, that's what I want to
Starting point is 00:35:01 do right now. He started, like, tripping and saying that, well, he already promised that he would take her. Now he's going to look like the bad guy. but we did end up talking about it and like he understood everything that I was saying so he did agree that he wouldn't be taking her over there but he yeah he does want to see her for Christmas that's you know still a few weeks away so who knows maybe by then I would have already changed my mind yeah and honestly that part of him that's pulling him is his little like it's part of the cycle that they have you know that nothing is like too too harsh for him to kind of like uh feel, I don't know, like guilty towards her or like wanting to be around her. But again, you're the mom too. You have every much of say in it.
Starting point is 00:35:49 I guess what's your question? Like, should she go? Yeah, that was like my question. Like, am I in the wrong for feeling like it's too soon for like the baby to go see her? Or should I like just put my feelings aside or like what I like, you know, like, that I don't feel safe or comfortable. Like, should I just put that aside and let her go, like, see her grandma? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:17 And you for sure won't go. Yeah, I was planning on not going. Okay. All right, there we go. Let's go to Bella in South LA. Bella is calling us with her son Sebastian. Hey. And they're beefing over what Lizzie should do, just so you guys know.
Starting point is 00:36:31 What? That's cool. Yeah, Bella. Hey, good morning. Good morning. All right, Bella. First, tell us what you think and then tell us why your son's actually. right. Okay. So this is, I feel like it is a tough situation. Yeah. And I'm just like her, I will
Starting point is 00:36:47 remove myself in situations that, you know, it's just not healthy for yourself or for your baby, of course. Yeah. And like my son is 10 now. So I feel like I kind of went through that like a very few years ago, you know, years ago. So she's only four months. And I feel like, I don't know, life is too short. And what if this, what if going this one time will actually set a little tone to like, okay, maybe she gets where you're coming from and then, like, the mom gets where she's coming from? Yeah. And she could probably, maybe there's a chance, you know, maybe there's a chance for a tiny change or something. But don't let your baby go without you, you know. Go for a picture too.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Hold the baby the whole time and then dip. What does Sebastian say? Sebastian's just like, no, she shouldn't go at all because the grandma is just mean and she doesn't deserve them there. Where does Sebastian learn at? How's your mother-in-law? Hi. Hi, Sebastian. So you think that, hey, the grandma hasn't done enough to prove that she deserves to see the baby?
Starting point is 00:37:56 Yes. Oh. Sebastian, standing on. Yes. Did you tell your mom that, what did you tell your mom, Sebastian, about this whole situation? that she shouldn't go and leave her baby because the mom hasn't changed by saying what she has to say. That's a smart.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Look that! Look at that! Do you see both your wedditas, Sebastian? What happened? Do you see your grandmas? Yeah. Oh, okay. Are they nice to?
Starting point is 00:38:28 Yeah. Which was your favorite? Yeah, which one do you not like? Well, he's with his dad's mom all the time. Oh. So you got to take the L on this one? His dad's mom, she's tried taking him away from me, everything. Oh, you too, you too.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Let's hear about it. Put the baby down and squabble it up. Put Sebastian down. Even with her trying to take the baby, you would still give this grandma a chance, right? I think she should. The baby's so small. You know, you don't want to start off on a bumpy road.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I know it's already been really bumpy. And, you know, sometimes you can't take things back. but that's just our being prideful, you know? And like I said, life is too short. Like, my son's dad is not around, so I feel like after that, like, obviously, even before, but his grandma has been in pictures so much. Yeah. You know, and you don't want to lose that relationship that you could have.
Starting point is 00:39:24 I know it might have a lot to do with her. I don't know. Just try to understand her more. If not, then, yeah, I mean, do what is best for you and the baby because you have the power. Yeah, you got the power. You have the power? I just thought about something. What if Lizzie is just trying to wait it out?
Starting point is 00:39:41 For what? She said the grandma sick. Oh, my God. She's waiting for the grandma? But wait what out? Just wait it out. For the grandma to. But for what?
Starting point is 00:39:50 To get her to die la casa. It just happened three weeks ago. I know, but she said the grandma's sick. Freel. Just like, let me keep her away. Sick, frail, and weak. Jesus Christ. Didn't she just sound really nice and she would never think like that?
Starting point is 00:40:04 She's not the villain like that. She's not petty. Like I said, the nice. This one's the most names. That's what I thought. Y'all were like, I believe her. Crystal, Crystal, in Northridge. What about, Crystal?
Starting point is 00:40:14 Crystal. Hi, good morning. Hello. So, Crystal. You have a similar story of which your baby and your sui-ra? It was not my sui-ra. It was like my immediate family, like my parents and siblings. Oh, your parents, your siblings.
Starting point is 00:40:29 So it's different, yeah. But, you know, I've learned never to mix your child in grown-ups drama. because they grow up and then they start, you know, saying wild crazy things. You know, I have an 8-year-old and he has seen a lot of things happen. And he has asked, you know, do they not love your mom or like they don't like you mom? You know, and it's messed up, you know. And I'm like, they do love me, you know. They just have different ways of thinking.
Starting point is 00:40:58 And for Thanksgiving, you know, this is like the first time I ever hosted my Suegras family and my family. together and I was nervous yeah together like for the first time in like eight years wow and my son he has been asking for that but you know like I'm like nervous you know because of my family you know and my my my son they start arguing you know so I'd always had that tension but for Thanksgiving you know I saw that my son needed that you know because he started crying because he couldn't believe that we had like a whole family together. Yeah. And he was like, Mommy, thank you for having both my grandma here at the house and my
Starting point is 00:41:43 papas and my Tias. It makes me really happy. So, you know, I saw that, you know, like I was doing something right by not keeping my kids away from either my family and my Svigra family, you know. Allow them to see them, you know. Allow them to be around your family, you know. Like if the problem is with you, like toughen it up, you know. Like, you're going to be hurting your kids.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Nobody else. Your kids are going to grow up with that, you know. And I feel like any children, no children should be mixed in any situations of adults. Like, when I was little... Like, when I was little, I have aunts, you know, that they have, like, the same toxic issues. And me and my sisters, you know, when my aunts would fight, they would always, like, forget that me and my sisters existed. you know, and for Christmas, our birth, like, everything. Like, they would just ignore us.
Starting point is 00:42:38 And that really, like, causes, like, a damage, not, like, damage, but it hurts you as a child. Like, you're like, what the hell happened? Like, what did we do, you know? And that's something that I talked with my sisters, you know, like, if we fight, no matter how dumb it can be, don't ignore my kids. Don't, like, you know? Don't make it feel like it's them. Crystal, I have a question.
Starting point is 00:43:02 You know how you said your parents were the ones that? were kind of like the like there was some toxicity there and you kind of put it all together like I want them to be together for the kids if your man were to say because your man would essentially be Lizzie in this story if your man were to say like hey I don't want my kid over there with your mom how how much of that would be that him being too harsh or him being like on reason like I won't babe I'll listen um well you know like my man is he's always always around, you know, but it's usually me. I make the decisions over our kids.
Starting point is 00:43:38 And he will be like, okay, I have your back, you know, because he has seen how my parents are. They were with me, not the kids. Like, the kids are something else. Yeah, that's you. You know, and my parents with my kids, you know, they're like, oh, my gift from God, you know, like they were not even hurt him like a little hair.
Starting point is 00:43:58 You've never told me you love me, but my kids are the gift from God. Oh, my God, I'll give them anything. Thank you, Crystal. We got Eric in San Diego. Eric, Winoz, Diego. Eric. Good morning. Eric.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Good morning. Brambeck. How's it going? What's up, Eric? What up? Is Liz being too harsh by not wanting her kid, her four-month-old baby, around her mother-in-law that was saying that she was going to throw hands with her, was kicking around saying, hey, all the things I bought you, it stays in this house. Y'all can leave? Or should she let her man take the baby to the holidays to see?
Starting point is 00:44:33 the baby's grandma. You know, I think they both should. Both. Because for once, what I, we don't know if the lady's acting like that because she's sick, you know. She might be not in all the right mind. She just might be mad all the time because of how she's feeling right now. And at the same time, the mom just like, Lizzie, she just, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, wants to be present, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:45:05 Just to stand her ground, I would say, and to not create that animosity in the family this early on. You know what I mean? I don't know if this is the first grandbaby the lady has. No, it's not. That's what she asked. Wait, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Yeah. So stand her ground. Like, the grandma should stand her ground, or Lizzie? I don't know. Because he said both. They both should be there, is what he's saying. So that one, you can see, make sure that your base protected if that's your fear. Right? If you don't feel safe around the grandma, even though you know she's sick and she really ain't going to do nothing with her threats, right?
Starting point is 00:45:42 Yeah. But also, like, to show her like, hey, I'm here. What's that way you need to tell me? Or just start. That stuff can only reconcile if there's moments where you guys can try to reconcile. Otherwise, you're allowing it to be disconnect. But at the same time, I get baby girl because it's like, dang, how somebody else petty to me and I got to be the bigger person. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Why can't I just meet them where they? they're at. Yeah. Yeah. And that's where your ego's talking. It's like, oh, you want to be, you want to be low, I'll go lower. All right. This is limbo.
Starting point is 00:46:10 Yeah. But I guess then that's taking the kid into the adult situation. It's all of these things, all these mechanics and what, what? If she wants to go low, be like, no, you're sick. I don't want to get my baby sick too. She can't see you. Oh, God. You don't know what type of sick, dog?
Starting point is 00:46:25 It doesn't matter. You're at the hospital a lot. What if what? You're at the hospital a lot. But if it's not like something you pass. What if it's something really bad? Yeah, but she said, oh, you're at the hospital. There's a lot of sick people there.
Starting point is 00:46:38 The way that baby girl, the way that Lizzie talks, Lizzie, would you do that? Would you be like, oh, you're so sick. I don't want my kid around you, Lizzie? No, because it's not, like, that type of sick. She has epilepsy. Okay. Sele-do-me? No, so.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Or she has seizures? She has seizures. She gets seizures. Okay. And she still wants to fight? Just throw a flashlight. What? Lizzie, a lot of people are saying let her see the baby and even you go to make sure the baby's good.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Or trust your baby daddy that he will keep the baby safe. Yeah, I think if he went to visit, I would probably go. And then also that would give her, like, the chance to apologize. Surprise, surprise, and then show up. Make sure you're holding the baby if there's like a lot of lights around and stuff because you don't want her to have a seizure attack. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Lizzie laughed. No, walk in there, put the baby down and be like, let's talk about it.
Starting point is 00:47:47 See, she wanted to get down. The lady just starts breakdancing right there? No, I got nice song. I'm just saying. What if they have a dance battle? That'd be cool. Going to the dance floor. Lizzie, say something.
Starting point is 00:48:03 nice about your Yeah, you're right. Say something nice. Let's see. Well, like, I will say that if me and him argued, she was always there, like, she always, yeah, she wanted to come, like, to the
Starting point is 00:48:19 ultrasounds, and so I do know, like, she wants to be involved. I just feel like sometimes she would just cross the line, but that is like the good thing, like she did want to be there. Maybe it's you that has to show her boundaries. because your man won't do it
Starting point is 00:48:34 your man kind of like plays with like meets her where she's at like if she's being petty he's gonna be petty too but like and it's not your literally it's not your job but maybe you're the one that's showing her boundaries like hey you act up I'm leaving and you won't see the kid
Starting point is 00:48:48 and then that might be enough for her to maybe change you know her little yeah awa she sounds so sad you're a blessing you're blessing to that family okay that everybody else is toxic
Starting point is 00:49:00 and petty but not you Lizzie Thank you You're welcome I believe her I believe her I believe her Oh no Come on
Starting point is 00:49:11 Baby Time kids Let's go That thing that you did This year That you thought Was it gonna keep you From getting a present
Starting point is 00:49:21 This holiday season We could forgive it right now Yeah You just got You just got Tell us what you did And Santa's our homie Yeah
Starting point is 00:49:29 He loves us That's my battle right there Hey hey just knock that one off bro. They didn't mean it. For favor. They didn't mean it. All right. They didn't mean it when they broke their grandpa's finger.
Starting point is 00:49:39 She probably did, but she still forgave her. She changed her life around. She did. She did. Yes, please. Ensemble. Ensembleche.
Starting point is 00:49:49 We are taking what you did wrong this year and we're making it right just before Christmas asking kids to call in and tell us what they did that landed them on the naughty list so that we can put in a good word with the big fella. to get them forgiven. All right, we got Sarah.
Starting point is 00:50:07 Sarah is nine years old. Sarah, when's dia, Sarah? Good morning. Sarah, talk to us. What did you do that laundered you on the naughty list? Okay, but one time, my mom was leaving for work, and then I stole $20 out of her phone case, and I put it in my shoe, and then she found out,
Starting point is 00:50:30 and she took away my phone, and I got, I'm sorry Sarah Did she find it back in your shoe Yes I don't know Like I don't know Mom have mom power Yeah
Starting point is 00:50:43 Is that the first time you ever stole something Nope Oh So you're a little Ceptomaniac Sarah You're only nine Sarah what did you need the 20 for
Starting point is 00:50:57 Food Food For food you don't get Your mom doesn't feed you Tell us right now Oh wow Sarah have another number to call. Sarah, what kind of food did you need, Sarah?
Starting point is 00:51:12 Panda. Panda. Sarah, Sarah, hold in line. Let's get her some panda. That's reasonable. So she don't have to rock for her mom. Let's get her a gift card to Panda, all right?
Starting point is 00:51:23 All right, Sarah, you have been. Nottles forgiven. Stop saying those 20 books for your mom. Some people steal money. That's crazy. And she didn't even use it. No, she forgot. Some people steal money for back.
Starting point is 00:51:37 bad things. She just stole for some panda. For some panda, bro. For your cub meal. Can you be mad? Orch chicken? No, you can't be mad, but I think she has a panda problem. She has an addiction to... She has an addiction. More kids on the line. More kids
Starting point is 00:51:55 on the line. Julian. Julian is 12 in Mariloma. Julian. What do you know leon? King Julian. So good. Julian. Hi, guys.
Starting point is 00:52:06 You remember me? What's up, bro? What's up, Big Don? Bro, tell us what you did wrong for the nightless forgiveness. We want to know. I was at a posada for La Vigian, and they were giving out free drinks, and I found an empty cooler,
Starting point is 00:52:25 and I started selling them to almost everyone. Oh, my God. They're technically free, though. Okay, so you're an entrepreneur. Re-seller. We hate resellers, Julian. He stole from a street vendor. It was free.
Starting point is 00:52:38 It was free. It was free. It was free for all the church goers. And he was reselling them. Damn. That's a smart kid right there. He was a priest. Actually, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:47 Did he steal? Not really. They were free. They were free. So he didn't steal. How much you get, Julian? I got like 20 or like 30 bucks. Wow.
Starting point is 00:53:01 This kid's pretty smart. He didn't steal it. Who caught you? Or you just ran out? No one? The Lord caught you. Let me tell you. He was watching the whole time.
Starting point is 00:53:09 The Virgencita, Te'Ate de'clock. Were there, like, Vajitos or, like, what type of people were you selling to? A lot of drunk people. A lot of drunk people.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Okay, let me ask you this. Okay. Did you split? What kind of drinks? Yeah, hold on. Yeah. Yeah. What were you selling?
Starting point is 00:53:27 I'm selling Pepsi, Coke, water, a corona and. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. That's right. That's right, homie. I don't think we can Don't stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Well, not the, yeah, not that, not the coronas. Well, did he say coronitas? Like, as in, no, this is the same thing. The corona of Dios, sir. The coroner of God, oh, okay, okay. Wait, let me ask you this. Did you put any of that money in the collection plate on Sunday? No, I did it.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Oh, yeah. That's just stop asking my question. Julie, you know, we're going to forgive you and we're going to walk away. And we're just going to walk away, Julie. Sold a couple chelas. Hey, if you see, Julian on the streets, it's selling you something. I mean, it was probably free before. Alliea.
Starting point is 00:54:17 I think this is, Am I saying your name correctly? Azalea, you're 13? Azalea. Azalea. Azalea. Talk to me. What did you do this year
Starting point is 00:54:26 that landed you on the naughty list? So I was ditching class with my friends because we were playing ding-dong ditch. No. And I didn't know that I was like, because they all got caught. And then I didn't know. I was going to get a phone call home.
Starting point is 00:54:44 Okay. Hold on, hold on. Right here it says you were ditching with your girlfriend. It was a group of friends. Oh, okay. Was your girlfriend in the group? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:57 All right. And so you guys ditched to ding-dong ditch? Yes. And I'm sure there's ring cameras. You guys got caught. Yes. All right. You know what?
Starting point is 00:55:09 We're not a judge. We're not here to judge you. This is in juvenile court. This is. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. We need to get these kids off the streets that are dangerous to society. You got a call from school?
Starting point is 00:55:21 What did your mom say? She was just mad. Okay. Man, these kids were good. Dude, I was busting donuts with my sister's Honda Accord at Porter Middle School on the lawn at 11 a.m. I was looking for the cops. It's not okay, but I'm saying like these kids are angels. I'm not asking what landed you in Juvia.
Starting point is 00:55:45 I'm asking what landed you on a Nautilus, bro. Funny thing is I never got, I never went to jail for it. Well, now they're coming back. Oh, look, Porter, the security guard, he's coming to get you. Well, I saw sacks to my principal too in high school. You're lying. Now you're adding extra. That's a true story. This is a true story.
Starting point is 00:56:02 This is a true story. I am not lying. I sold sacks to my principal. That's the stories we need. Sacks to his face? I'm dead serious. Sacks to his face? And I'll say his name right now.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Do it. Go, say it. Do it. Kennedy, from 2000 and 2000. And four, you guys know what's happening. Okay, he didn't say his name. He just said the high school name. Mr. Guy.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Oh! You sold. Man, let's go to egg. Let's get the, let's get out of here. Mr. Guy was blazing it up. Christian. PSA. We used to trade for, uh, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for,
Starting point is 00:56:41 out of class slips. You feel me? Which one of these kids is going to get? What? The six, like, the magic bag ticket. Me, me. Me, I need to be forgiven for my, I like Sarah.
Starting point is 00:56:52 Sarah with the panda. Like you're stole for panda. That's pretty good. Yeah. Panda. I'll say Julian. He's smart. Just a sharp kid.
Starting point is 00:57:00 I wish you would have gave at least a dollar in the collection. No, because Santa's going to give him a gift and he's just going to resell that. Yeah. Yes. I like his spirit. Oh, man. Let's go to, I don't know, that little, the one that was slang and stuff was pretty good. You know?
Starting point is 00:57:15 Julian. Yeah. Yeah. A little entrepreneur. Julian. And we're going to reward. your behavior, Julian. The only place where we were
Starting point is 00:57:24 bad behavior. Oh, man, that's the spirit of Angie's in here right now. Angie's out sick right now. Julian, are you there? Yeah. Congratulations, Julian. Not only have you been Nautilus
Starting point is 00:57:39 forgiven, you also get a four pack of tickets to go to Magic Mountain, okay? Julian, where you from? I'm from Marilova, and I'm going to get no gifts because I'm a cellist. Oh Hey Z, are you going to sell the Six Flags tickets?
Starting point is 00:57:56 I just might. Hell no. Oh, okay. He's going to that. Let's go. Oh, my gosh. I wanted to go to church on Sunday. He does.
Starting point is 00:58:05 And twice on Wednesday during mid-week service, too. That kid got to pay his taxes. Hey, and Sarah. To the big homies. Brough, I could hear in your throat. To the big bad row. Sarah. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:58:21 Sarah, we're going to get you a gift card to Panda Express. For sure, yeah. We're going to get her the family pack. For her, to all the family, to come out an orange chicken. And, girl. And I'm going to say. And shall me.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Azelia. Azalea. Yes. We're going to get you a ring camera, bro. Yeah. Okay, I ain't doing all that. Don't be no ding-dong ditching, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:51 I'm getting caught for. teaching at school. Man, are we delayed? Are we on the moon or something? What's going on? What's going on with these kids? We're talking to kids. Poske-al-in?
Starting point is 00:59:03 Thur! Can you guys hear us or what's going on? It's me. It's me. It's me. Oh, come on, man. It's me. It's me.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Over the weekend, we saw some really, really sad news about the father of Dehano legend, Selina Kitania. He has died at the age of 86, Abraham Kitania Jr. is how we all saw it. We saw it on Instagram when his son, the third, said,
Starting point is 00:59:34 losing Selena 30 years ago is still a daily struggle for me, but losing my dad hits differently. I felt safe knowing his love and guidance was always available when I needed it most, and now I won't be able to have that anymore. He was a tough cookie, but in this business you have to be. He taught Selena and I that from the get-go, Today I feel my heart is shattered in a million pieces. I feel so sorry for my mom who has to live with the pain of losing her baby and her husband.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Life is so unfair. Today is my birthday. And now for the rest of my life will mark something tragic that happened today, losing my father. Thank you to all that have sent your condolences. The song, and talks about a song called La Vida de Ungenio, which was a song that A.B. Kintanilla third wrote for his dad. He B. Kintanilla Jr. He was 86 years old.
Starting point is 01:00:25 No cause of death has been released. But, man, when you're 86 years old, it could be anything, you know? Yeah. It's really tough, I guess. A lot of us were re-watching Selena this past, like, couple months, especially with the new doc that's out on Netflix. And, you know, not for nothing, but with dad, you always kind of look at it. Like, without him, we wouldn't have Selena and Los Dinos, right?
Starting point is 01:00:50 Like, he was the one that showed them what they, got that was a business acumen and all of that but that can get um polarizing for some where it's like oh he was the bad guy too or this something had to have happen and all of that but in these moments it's like man they're both gone you know yeah yeah yeah that's unfortunate i guess you know the family con i guess how how is your i guess uh experience been bro uh it was i mean it's been amazing just getting to know them um you know uh recently you know i've been you know coming into a relationship with them through my boy Al. You know, he introduced me to Chris,
Starting point is 01:01:28 Salinas Witter. And then, you know, when I was in San Antonio, he set up a, kind of like a meeting greet, kind of like a tour at the Salina Museum in Corpus Christi. And as we're walking there, I see through, you know, through all the people, it was like the door was open. And I just seen, I was like, that's Selena's dad right there.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Yeah. I was like, that's him. And then Susette comes out and she's, you know, she's greeting us and she's giving us a tour. And then she was like, do you guys want to talk, like meet my dad? And I was like, yes. Yes. And we're talking. And he was like, you know, what are you guys doing here?
Starting point is 01:02:00 And I was like, well, actually, I'm actually doing a comedy show, you know, in San Antonio. We just came out here today just to, you know, kind of, you know, check out the museum and do all this. And he was like, hey, if you want to do your comedy special, we could do it in the back. He said, I'll record it. We'll put it on DVDs, a whole deal. And I was like, and dude, let me tell you, he was not kidding. But he was very cool, super lively. He was telling jokes.
Starting point is 01:02:25 I mean, just a sweetheart. Susette's a sweetheart. The whole family, man, I mean, it was really cool to me. A lot of the, you know, a lot of people that were there from the very beginning. Suzette even played us some of the Selena's records when she was a kid singing, which actually play at the end of the newest documentary. So we're sitting there. We're all crying. My girl's crying.
Starting point is 01:02:44 I'm crying. Everybody's crying in the room in the studio. And it was just a pretty amazing, unforgettable experience. And it's just unfortunate, you know, I'm cool with AB2, you know what I'm saying? That we've been, you know, we've been, you know, talking for a while. And I've gone to his shows and he's inviting me out. And it's just been, you know, just tragic, you know, tragedy. And it's been a lot throughout their whole lives that they've had to see publicly.
Starting point is 01:03:07 You know, they live that grief out loud because the whole world grieved along with them, you know. And now, like he mentioned, like, I just feel so sad for myself, but my mom, like that. Selena's her baby and now her husband, her right there person. And you said, you mentioned you met him this year. Yeah. You saw how lively it was. It was just a few months ago, maybe, I don't know, four or five months ago during the summer that we were there. Yeah, it was just recently, really, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:33 So rest in peace to A. Being Kitania Jr. And on a lighter note, T.I. It was going viral. Again. Again today. I feel so sad about it. Povericito, like you can't do nothing and people don't clown you.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Yeah. So he took off his hat. No. His bucket hat during your performance. And you could see that the back of his head is kind of just like, it's getting a little bear back there. And he has braids so he did it like he put the braids over the forehead, put the bucket hat on. Oh, you got the, you got the Trump going on. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:04:12 Like a pair. Yeah. You're crazy. No, it's like the comb over boy, brain. It's his hair. It's his hair, but it's just. It's thinning in the back. In the back, right?
Starting point is 01:04:20 Yes. So it's like, you can't see it from the front or whatever when he's wearing a hat. Oh, he looks lit. It looks like he's full of hair. Like, you know, but then he took it off and everybody's like, oh, they discovered his secret. He's balding. But, dude, he's like reaching 50, right?
Starting point is 01:04:34 Yeah. It happens. Like, it is what it is. But now that everybody saw it, he has to just shave it all off. Yeah. Kind of like Gallagher a little bit. It's just, he has hair, but then it's also balding. It's, yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:46 No. No. You didn't see you. Oh my God. God. Roundback mornings, 106 on Instagram if you want to check it out. He has to get rid of it all now. No, those are dreads, doll.
Starting point is 01:04:55 Those ain't braids, right? No, those are braids. Those are braids? I can't really see them things from over here. Yeah, so he has to just take them all off. It was a good run. Ti, but now your... It's running.
Starting point is 01:05:06 Your hair is running. Yeah. It's gone. I don't make the rules. I just enforce them. I need some hymns. They got, you know... If he could make a comeback.
Starting point is 01:05:14 They do promote hair growth. If he could make a comeback. Oh, gosh. That could be possible. What is the song he had about. Coming back after you got on a Joe? Live your life. So live your life.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Hey, hey. And when he first came out, he had like a really short haircut. So it was pretty well. Yeah. But really, really short to the skin, to the scalp. Aren't they bringing back that movie too that he was in? Which one? ATL?
Starting point is 01:05:39 Yeah. I think they're doing part two, no? Maybe. He still looks fairly young, though. He does. Black don't crack, brother. Yeah, it's just the hair has to go now. Like this and Craig.
Starting point is 01:05:49 You guys heard about that, right? At what point are you going to shave your head bald? Like, at what point does it have to be for you? You guys in the room. No, guys in the room. I'm going to. Why might do it now? I have a video of me that I turn around and I'm like, I swear to God, that looks like a bald spot and I might shave my head.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Like you're thinning a little bit. Yeah. And it's making me so mad. Me? I'm right until the wheels fall off. So what? So when it's like a big wild patch on your. And so I look like TI, let me tell you.
Starting point is 01:06:13 Never. I'm never letting go. I'm going to turkey. I'm going everywhere. So how are you going to do? tell T.I. I'm gonna look like Aikon. See how you can tell TI that?
Starting point is 01:06:21 No, he has, because he has the money to do it. I look like somebody just lit a match on my head and just patches. I'm going to Turkey. Why not? Oh my gosh. But before that, we're going to give away $100 WSS gift card for you to go and enjoy either online or in-store shots to our family over there at WSS. But you got to tell us how busted your shoes are. We want to give these to this gift card to someone who will bust it.
Starting point is 01:06:48 feet, busted shoes. Yeah. Well, I don't know about your feet. Your fee is your problem. Yeah, put some talks on. We need to get away. Free stocks. You're bust your feet.
Starting point is 01:06:58 No, no, no. We want to know what's up with your shoes. Let us know. I think this is Jackie and Irvine. What's up, Jackie? Hello. Jackie, talk to us. How bust are your shoes right now?
Starting point is 01:07:10 They're really busted. I use them for work, too, and then they're my shoes to go out. Wait, what? Oh, you got work. It's your all-day shoes. What's your 24-7 shoe? Yeah. Your shoes be working a double.
Starting point is 01:07:22 The only Nike shoes that I have. Really? Oh, it's your Nike ones. They're your nice one. What color are they? Or what color were they when you first bought them? They're like beige and white, but now I can't, when I color, like, I clean them. They're not even, you can't even clean them anymore.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Oh, cutie pie. And how long have you had them? It's almost a year now. That's only shoes. I buy my. No, she's for my daughter because she keeps busing her shoes, and she's so small. You know how they're always running around. Yes.
Starting point is 01:07:53 So, okay. Did you send them? She's pretty. Okay. So how do you see? For people that buy shoes often during the year, there's some people that only have one shoe a year. Damn, I feel messed up now. Yeah, you should.
Starting point is 01:08:08 You should. You can afford to because they're with your mom, but see, she's working hard. She's taking care of her kids. Oh, my dad makes you feel bad. I can't even go any further. Girl, Jackie, congratulations. You get $100 gift card. $100 gift card, baby girl.
Starting point is 01:08:23 It's so bad. Jackie. Jackie. Yes. Congratulations. You're going to get this gift card, okay? Thank you so much. You're welcome.
Starting point is 01:08:32 I hope you enjoy it. And buy the shoes for yourself. I don't think about your kids. I do not want to see you buy too. I'm going to check what you buy. I don't want to see no two pairs of toddler shoes. There have to be yours. For you.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Okay. Okay. Thank you. That's omero, chiquita, little. Oh, kitty pies. See, we're going to do this again. Show us your bus shoes to get $100 WSS to give for it because you guys are the ones that need it.
Starting point is 01:08:53 I don't want to give it to guys like Greg that have like seven new shoes in the last two months. My dad gets so mad. I walk in with the bag. He's like another pair. No, thank you. I want to see people's shoes talking. Yeah, I've had that.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Yeah, I want to see that. You know, just. Or they don't feed you anymore, but you know what? You'll put up with it. It's like when girls wear heels, they don't fit us really well, but we'll put up with the pain. When your shoes don't fit and you wear thin socks. When the top of the, what's the part of the shoe where it's your feet are?
Starting point is 01:09:22 The toebox. Okay, like it's kind of protruding a little bit because your big toe is too big and it's just kind of making a debt. Those kind of shoes. Okay, you deserve it. And look, we all deserve to have a good time this holiday season. That's why our homies at TDE are putting together the concert and toy drive plus community give back is going down. The first day, December 18, that's when the toy drive happens. And then December 19th, that's when there's family activities, there's raffles, there's,
Starting point is 01:09:47 gift giveaways, all of that. And it's going down at the Nickerson Gardens over in Watts. We had the pleasure of talking to Big Bee and the homie, sir, who's going to be on the lineup of performers. Look, Absul, Dochi, Isaiah Rashad, J.rog, Lance Skywalker, Rayvonne, Schoolboy Q, Sir, Siza, Zaccari, and special guest. Keep in mind on that special guest, it's always, if not that lineup was already incredible, the special guest part is always sick, man.
Starting point is 01:10:14 And we had Big B up in here, kind of telling him, I asked him like, look, How'd you guys get into this? How did you, like, you as a family? Because this is Top Dog's son, Bigby's, Top Dog's, middle child. And he's like, look, Todd, he's just always been this guy. It's going down December 18th and 19th. We all literally come from that area over there in the Nigginson. Like, we all grew up there.
Starting point is 01:10:35 We experienced these situations. Top made his way out, which allowed me to make my way out too as well. Yeah. And he shows so many people different stuff. So his whole idea was, hey, I'm spending my money on all this other stuff. Let me spend it on the people I love. care about. So his whole thing was he opened up his pocket personally. Like the last 10 years to keep it a buck.
Starting point is 01:10:53 Yeah. Had a few hands in. Of course. Here and there, but that's... He made sure it happened. Yeah, he made sure it happening. You know what's crazy is that whether, now you see hella sponsors, but whether there were sponsors or not, Top was going to make sure it was a thing. Yeah. And we've been there. We've had the opportunity to go, enjoy the concert. Top's always so gracious. And low-key, it's like seeing Santa, like, oh my God, Top is there. With the red hat. You know, seeing all the crew that is part of TDE, he works so hard throughout the year,
Starting point is 01:11:22 but enjoy this time to have a concert. It's going down and we want to make sure that you go. The only thing that you need to be in there is an unwrapped toy. That's your ticket in. Wow. To see this concert. Look at festival lineups right now. Sheesh.
Starting point is 01:11:35 It's a pretty penny. For like GA tickets, I want to say like 300 maybe. Maybe even more. Something like that. You know what I'm saying? If you want to go all the days because usually festivals are longer, it's way more than that. this is an unwrapped gift will get you in.
Starting point is 01:11:48 Wow. So awesome. And big up to Sir, he checked in with us too. Sir is our videographer. Jose is one of his favorite artists. Jose listens to him while he edits, dreams about him while he sleeps, which is at the same time as he's edited.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Just hear John Redcorn on repeat. And then we asked them, like, for all the stuff that you guys do, like someone like, Sir, coming out of Inglewood and just what you've done and the music that you've released, what would be on your Christmas list and he actually got a really good one Well I want my escrow to close I'm buying a house

Like, shout out to Big B and to surf for hanging out with this quick little note that we have with them. Before the, before we get out of here is Topps' favorite Christmas song, okay?
Starting point is 01:13:30 It's so funny because you think of Top Talk again. You know what is black Tidu hoodie, his red hat, and just like, he's that guy. He's low-key-intimidating, high-key-contimidating. But he loves one very special Christmas song. You're going to hear it at the end of this. Check it out. We all literally come from that area. It's going down December 18th and 19th. The concert does happen on the 18th, but you got to show up December 19th, man.
