Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more brown bag, the better. Come on. Sparrow, one of six, Buenos Aires. Good morning to you. Good morning. It is December 19th. I'm Lettiga. Concrete in here. Gary in here. Angie in here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:18 Good morning. Good morning to you and you and you in you. Right now, though, let's get into Money Rose. That makes money move. That makes money move. Where everybody's that. starts last minute shopping. Or is it too early for last minute shopping? It's too early, little.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Too early. Too early. I feel like I'm so behind. I shop on the 24th when I do it. That's Christmas Eve. Yeah. So what? That's not your win at the party by then.
Starting point is 00:00:46 The Mexican one. 24. Oh yeah. You mean you shop on the 23rd. Maybe, yeah. Christmas Eve. Yeah. Christmas Eve Eve.
Starting point is 00:00:54 All right, so it's too soon to talk about last minute shopping. Oh, yeah. Too soon. But let's do it. Mostly people would last minute shop like, or shop for the holiday. days, beginning of December. We're already more than halfway, guys don't know. Or Cyber Monday, Black Friday, all of that.
Starting point is 00:01:09 But right here we're here. Okay, and financial experts are giving tips on how to budget friendly your last-minute shopping. Because loki, when the stores know you last-minute shopping, that price ain't cheap at all. Oh, yeah. You're a last-minute shopping is going to charge you full price, all that. One good way they say is to set a budget per person in your life. I thought this was cute because I was like, it's 25 bucks all around. But have you ever went last minute shopping and you just end up buying too much, too much, too much?
Starting point is 00:01:38 Yeah, I usually like end up spending too much money like in the hundreds because I waited last minute to shop for everybody. All right. All right. Let's budget your family right now. All right. Budget your mom. What's her last minute gift going to price that? Budget right now and it'll help you. If this is what Loki like financial experts are saying, look that person in like your little imagination. How much are they?
Starting point is 00:02:00 worth Christmas present value. My mom about 100. There you go. I'm with it. 100. My dad, like $30. My brother's $20. How many brothers you got?
Starting point is 00:02:09 Two brothers. My sister, nothing. My niece is... Why nothing? Yeah, why? She never even shows up. So then... Fair.
Starting point is 00:02:20 E gift card. Yeah, probably that. And then my nieces and nephews, probably 50 bucks each. But it's like 50 bucks with multiple things. So like go to like five below. Because they're kids. They're not going to know. You're like at two seconds.
Starting point is 00:02:31 You're close to $300. Yeah, $300. And then my cousins, probably $20. It's pretty good. Oh, you give your cousins. Yeah, because they all show up. Wow, you have no kids. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Yeah. So. I don't even give my sister anymore. It's just my nieces and my nephews. It's like, hey, adults, don't worry. Just the kids are getting something. I spend about $300 to $400 the last day before. Well, not you know.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Angie, let's budget your family. Oh, my God. Okay, so if we're not doing Secret Santa. Oh, that's just one. And that's just one person. Then my budget would be like $500 for that person. So, but right now? What?
Starting point is 00:03:06 What? Oh, God. Yeah, that's how much, like, if we're not going to, we're only going to, like, for my, all my siblings and my nieces. Wait, what else do you do besides radio? $500? Because you're a bogger dog. For the Secret Santa? I always thought that was like, yeah, if we're doing Secret Canada with my siblings.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Are you a drug eater? My family's like 50 bucks. It is. How? Don't tell me you're out there. Honestly, no, because we're trying to budget. and being like $100 and we're like, fool, what can you find with $100?
Starting point is 00:03:32 Oh my gosh, who are? You'll find a lot. Let me find out Angie selling feet picks or something. What? That one crazy don't know. So right now, let me find out she's actually a Fernandez. I thought that was normal. Okay, Angie.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Five hundred? Question. Five hundred? You just sidetracked me. Angie, what have you gotten in the past years if the budget is 500 bucks? My cell phone? You got your cell phone? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:58 From a Secret Santa? No, from my parents, from my mom. Christmas. Thank you, ma. Yeah. But you're saying Secret Santa's $500. Yeah, we're doing Secret Santa. This year we're not doing Secret Santa.
Starting point is 00:04:07 So it's like, okay, what have you given someone else with this $500 budget? Yeah, what have you given? I think that was a question. Oh, okay. Like, it'll be a lot of different things. Like, it'll be clothes. It'll be skincare. It'll be makeup.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Like girls? Wow. I'm not going to join the family. Yeah, who else? Oh, no, but you have to buy it. Well, yeah, you have to. It's different. So like even for my sister is like we'll all pitch in and we'll get my mom something.
Starting point is 00:04:32 So last year we got her a treadmill and we all pitched in like 500. Wow. That was an expensive. Yeah. Oh my God. Was it a palatine? No, it was something else. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Hey, I got one else. I'll sell you. You're so dumb. That's mine. No, but this year's different. So it's like a budget for, since we're not doing Secret Santa, it's like per sister, it's like $100 and then for my mom. Oh my gosh. Even that.
Starting point is 00:04:52 It's $250. Y'all, they're rich. Greg just said his mom is 100 books. Yeah. I know when you're saying that, I'm like, oh, my God, love your mom. So if your sisters are 100 bucks, 100 bucks, what's your mom? 250. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Which is not even bad. I feel like that's really low. It's her mom. Is it just tripping me out or y'all tripped out? No, I just found out my family's poor. Yeah, same here. Right. What?
Starting point is 00:05:13 Just this second I found out that I grew up for. Yeah, I just found out where cheap skates in my family. Yeah, yeah. I had no idea. It's one time a year. It's not like I'm buying them all. No, that's great, Angie. That's so crazy.
Starting point is 00:05:25 But you're spending what, what, like a few grand? Hey, when are you going to do your toy driver? It's because it feels weird to just give my mom like, oh, here you go, mom, your T-shirt and it's just like one thing. Really? So it's like, here you go. My mom loves the shirts I give her. Yeah, especially if I like went and picked it out and got it for her.
Starting point is 00:05:42 One day my mom will get the full purse right now. She just gets the card holder. I got my home a heating pad last year. Now I feel like a terrible side. Yeah, see, if I got her mom concrete. I get her a bag all the time. I'm not a, I'm not a. a thoughtful giver.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I like to give, but I'm not as thoughtful. So usually, Nikki handles it, you know? Like, here's the budget, and then she'll buy it, and then she'll wrap it. And I just... What do you get, Nikki? Because you can't have Nikki buy her own gift,
Starting point is 00:06:10 or do you do that? Your wife? Yeah, again, perfumes and little things like that, and then, you know, Disney stuff, and that's about it. I don't... I'm not a thoughtful giver. I'm not, I like to give. I'm just not like...
Starting point is 00:06:23 Yeah. I'm not creative with it. No. It's okay. What? Okay, you're the gift. Look at you right now. You are.
Starting point is 00:06:29 I'm the gift that keeps giving. All right. Well, coming up, tell us how cheap you are. What's your budget at your house? I thought this budgeting thing was going to go a certain way. And then N'i just took it and was like, yeah. You're a baller. No, it's just I have a credit card.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Ah, you're going to debt. No. Okay. All right. That was money moves. Mexican Santa. I know. I just don't know who this guy is.
Starting point is 00:06:56 He's wearing a Santa Juan Z, Christmas Lizer, Disney, and a sombrero. I love it. I love how everybody's dressed up. And then Santa's little helper right here. Angelica. And then Victor's here. But more importantly, you are here. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Thank you so much for checking in with this. A big up to everybody that went to the TDE Christmas event yesterday. It was so awesome to see what went down at Watts. FOMO. Right? FOMO. I told you. I'm watching this unfold in real time.
Starting point is 00:07:23 It would have been your first one, Kahn. And then, This guy shows up and then that guy shows up. Yeah, back to back. Snoop and Dre? And then Snoop and Dre? They haven't performed like in 30 years. Since the Super Bowl probably.
Starting point is 00:07:34 You know what I mean. It's been 30 years. No, it hasn't. It feels like it's been 30 years. Imagine going to see them and all that cost you is an unwrapped toy. I've only seen Snoop perform live for the Mount Westmore tour. And then, but I've never seen like Dr. Dre and Snoop. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 00:07:52 I never even seen Dr. Dre in real life. Yeah. No. Is he tall? He's cool. He's cool. Yeah. Not as tall as Snoop, but everyone's taught on me.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Don't ask me. My point of view is very different. But yeah, he pulled up. Mario was there, Monica was there? What? Siza? Sizz of course. Her and Kendrick, they killed it.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Kate Dizzle? Is that Kendrick? Yeah, is that a high? No. Very, I don't think anyone's ever called me. I thought I was putting you guys on or something. No. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Hey, K Dizzle, what? No, buddy. Shout out to the homie Troy. He helped us. get parking because parking can be a mess out there especially on days like that but he was awesome enough to let charisma and park in the grass and then let me park in the cut like he was like bro just do it do it shout to that boy true um but make sure you go to date as awesome as yesterday was td e wants to make it a point that you go today to nickerson gardens at 11 a.m this is where the toy distribution is
Starting point is 00:08:52 but also it's a family activities day they have they have i think they have snow slights. Yeah. Wow. Yes. They have different brands that come in, including Power 106, to give away free stuff, get the vibe going. They have mentorship programs.
Starting point is 00:09:07 They have job fairs that all go down there. It's really, really fun. This is why yesterday happens. So if you're in or around the Watts area, if you can get there by 11 a.m., make sure you pull up. Our Power 106 homies are going to be there too. I want to stop by, too. So let me know if you're true.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Well, yeah, I'm only one gift away from finishing my kids' presence. Really? Yeah. Being present? No, I do that. Oh. I do the toy giveaway tour. Oh.
Starting point is 00:09:33 To your kids? Jesus. He goes on a tour of toy giveaways and gets gifts. Gifts. Oh, my God. I don't get it. He goes to every toy drive and takes one for his kids. For his kids.
Starting point is 00:09:44 They're so dumb. That's kind of smart. Dumb. How did you guys get that? I don't know. Because they're present. I don't know. I didn't know anybody else did that.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Yeah. 11 E. m. Wads. The Uekerson guard is, I'm not going to let you. Not that people know. If I roll up like this, they will. Yeah, they will.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Oh, look at that little festival of Mexican. No, here to take pictures with the kids. Come here, bent up a car. This is me black son on one side? You sat on the other side. Kids, take pictures of wooden bowl. Yep. All right.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Look, keep it here. More brown bags mornings on the way, including your $100 WSS gift card. Right now, let's get into scrolling. Scrolling with all we. Hey, Greg. Yeah. I can't see this one. Go, yes.
Starting point is 00:10:29 You don't know what I mean next. Go, go, do it. Wow. Thanks, Big. We all got it. Yeah, yeah. We all, yeah. John Cena had his last match this past weekend.
Starting point is 00:10:37 See? Wow, let's see it again. Say it again. I can't see this one. Wow. Yes, that is his same. You can't see me. But, yes, he had his last match this past weekend against Gunther.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Yeah. And it was his retirement match. His goodbye. His retirement match. He said goodbye to everybody. And but the way that he went out. People were so upset about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:59 He tapped out versus Gunther. Gunther is feasting on the carcass of John Cina's career. John Cena has tapped out. You and Vigwer are really mad about this. Yes, because tapping out means giving up. And his motto is never give up. Yes. So he ultimately gave up.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Yes. And he gave up with a smile. He had a smile on his face. And people wanted to know why are you smiling? Why did you go out like this? Why you gave up? Yes, he gave up. Why wouldn't they...
Starting point is 00:11:35 What would have been the ideal, like, if you could script it, because we know it's not scripted it, but if you could script it, Vic, what would the ideal WWE ending be for John Cena? He gives him the F5 and he wins in the middle of the ring and everybody comes out because the whole first row was like all former wrestlers and, like, good friends of his. They all come out and, like, storm the ring and everybody like, hip-hip up. Pick them up. That would have been like a storybook ending right there.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Yeah. He gives the F5 like a truck? No, it's his finishing move. Oh, what is it? Yeah. It's right after he does the five knuckle shuffle. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Never mind. Never mind. I get it. It's for you all. I want to have like the tables and the ladders out and just throw John Cena through a table or something like. What? Make it dramatic. Throw him through a table.
Starting point is 00:12:20 So everyone had criticism. This is like when the sopranos ended and no one liked how it ended. Yes. No one liked how this ended. No, very controversial. And then he went on the Cody Rhodes podcast, which is another famous wrestler that everybody likes. And he explained why he went out the way that he did. We're just in a sleeper hole, man.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Yeah. We're just in a sleeper hole. Sleeper for sleeper. But we're having that conversation with the audience. Yeah. So as I essentially take my last breath, I have struggled. If you think of somebody, the natural cause of scenario or however we picture loss in our life, all of us have been through it. They struggle.
Starting point is 00:12:53 They struggle. They struggle. They hang on just long enough to make sure to say goodbye. everybody that's been meaningful in their lives. And that whole day was so many unbelievably vulnerable, meaningful conversations. And then you realize I've connected with everybody I love. Physically, I feel great. I think it's time to take that last breath.
Starting point is 00:13:11 This person died peacefully. And knowing that, like, man, we are in a good place. We're going to be great going forward. And this is literally, like the bottom of the T-shirt says, I gave everything. Thank you for everything. In that one moment, that was that going peacefully. That was dark.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Yeah. Very dark. Like he spoke to us from beyond the grave. Yeah. Feels like we're hearing from a ghost. Yeah. But he's like talking like if it's a death scene in a movie. It's too deep.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Too deep for what it is. Yeah. It's too deep, my boy. Like it should have been extra because. For what it's W. Relax. But he could have just said like. He went Denzo Washington.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Too deep. Yeah. He went, oh, I got to just. I thought I was going to be like, ah. And I'm like, relax dog. Chill. It's like, oh, I gave up and that's it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:58 That's it. He could have said like, Like I gave it all. I gave my last. It could have been like a sense of relief. Like, oh, you know what? After that, after fighting for so long, I just felt like a sense of relief. Like, I'm not going to fight anymore.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Or a passing of the torch. Like, I'm not the guy no more. You know, boom. But it's like your last breath that you ever take in life. He's in his evil phase. He's like when you die. Yeah. But you don't smile when you die.
Starting point is 00:14:22 You don't. Or do you? I don't know. I thought he was insane. I was smiling because I farted. I let one rip Yeah, he didn't know But Gunther smelled it
Starting point is 00:14:34 You couldn't see it That was his last breath that he had to take It's dark, very dark Yeah So let me get this straight As someone that's not a WWE hit And Torres Pento Because I've seen grown men cry
Starting point is 00:14:46 You said even your son Vic was like watching it And just so overwhelmed With everything that was going down Yeah It's a real thing But he's not even going to be in the sport Is he just non-existent? Is it now, like, is there like a thing in the rafters, a banner for him?
Starting point is 00:15:02 Yeah, so he'll be a legend. Like, they call it like a legends contract. So he'll be around. He'll make appearances here and there. But he'll never wrestle in the ring again. And the next time you probably will see him will probably be for his Hall of Fame induction. Yeah. Next year.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Oh. So that's when you'll see him again. That's pretty soon. Yeah. Or like WrestleMania, probably like four months. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:15:24 All that for nothing. All dramatic. Yes. Oh, okay. I get it. All right. Now you're not going to see them again? You can't see me.
Starting point is 00:15:36 No, we're going to see them. We're going to see them for four months. All right. Let's get into the weather. You ready, my friend? Let's go. Let's go. And now, the weather.
Starting point is 00:15:44 With concrete storm. Peritos de'ez is going down for the weather. Friday, December 19th. Summer is still here. It's beautiful in California. First, we go to the city of Waneca. The great one eight where I used to rap and be the connecta. Your high is, Jose.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Wow. You're high 72 degrees. Selling tickets to your rap till he's buying him. Next, next we wipe our eye burgers to Rancho Cucamonga. Wake your ass up. Don't be your foieonga. You're high at 73 degrees today. Now we push the ultimate all the way to Calimesa.
Starting point is 00:16:21 My homegirls Leti and Angie are Ninias Fresas. What do you, la Nia Fresas. You're higher 70. degrees. And lastly, we salute the best city in the world. Los Angeles. I don't know what else to rhyme with it, but Indianapolis. I thought you were going to scandalous, vandalism. We already did it, bro. I'm not done. Okay, go, go, go, go.
Starting point is 00:16:41 And scandalous, vandalist, handelous, handle it, hand. Your high will be 70 degrees. Crazy dark little facts, speaking of being dark, Hollywood's golden age had a major crime problem. studios quietly covered up scandals involving actors to protect the stars. Not only that, but that also spawned the LAPD to have a secret elite union in the mid-1900s that operated with no oversight. Merry Christmas. That's like right now?
Starting point is 00:17:10 Yeah. Yeah. So that's going on right now? What? The mid-1900s? Yeah. Like the 50s? Yeah, like 1950s.
Starting point is 00:17:18 That feels like right now. Golden A.J. You think so it's right now? No oversight. No oversight. Scandles. arena. Damn.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Oh, scandalous, vandalous. Okay, yeah. What's the weather, bro? Winnega, 73, 73,
Starting point is 00:17:34 Kalimesa, 74, and L.A. are you going to be 70 degrees today, Perritos. Yeah, so. Those 70s have you
Starting point is 00:17:40 in a Gunther chokehold, bro. Yeah, you're not going to see me after this one, dog. L.A.,
Starting point is 00:17:47 what's up? It's your boy been concrete. Big concrete. Big concrete. It's your boy big concrete. It's your boy big
Starting point is 00:17:55 Big Fierro right here Oh my God It's your boy Big Fierro bringing the rain Oh, all right Bringing the rain Making it rain All right
Starting point is 00:18:08 Check this out, homie Or need some help We need your help We need a line I mean phone line We got you for The homie help line Gabby needs our help
Starting point is 00:18:21 Gabby hit us up and said Hey Brownbag I need some advice on how to tell my kids that there will be no Christmas this year. She said, I'm a single mother of four amazing children between the ages of 8 to 15, and I'm struggling on how to tell them there will not be Christmas gifts this year. What? It's been a tough year. I do everything on my own.
Starting point is 00:18:43 My oldest ones understand, but how do I tell my 10-year-old and 8-year-old that Santa Claus will not be visiting our house? I've done everything I could, but I'm in between buying them, gifts or still paying the rent. Still trying to catch up on things and having to move my 15-year-old to another school because he was being bullied. My 13-year-old is still trying to carry on normally with the trauma that his friend was shot last year. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:19:10 My little family has been through a lot, but I try to keep a smile on my face for them. I have to pay the rent to keep a roof over our heads and Santa won't be visiting this year. How do I make my kid? how can I make my kids Christmas memorable this year without any gifts? It's very, very sad. Yeah, it's tough. It's tough, but it's a reality, I think, for a lot of parents. It is. Especially like now, like things are, you know, the economy is not doing great.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Yeah. And, you know, a lot of people, it's like, oh, they don't have the extra bread that you just have to shell out, you know, for Christmas gifts. For four kids, you know what I'm saying? It's a lot. sucks yeah you look so sad letty yeah
Starting point is 00:20:00 you look sad so sad Gabby's on the line what's up Gabby Gabby hey Gabby hello Gabby so I'm sure
Starting point is 00:20:12 this goes without saying but this year's been a lot huh yeah okay talk to me about your kids um
Starting point is 00:20:22 and you got to play wrong He was actually my, well, he was tall at the time. He was the one that was shot. His friend shot him or he supposedly friends saw him. Wait, what? Hold on. I thought that was like a typo. Her son got shot by her supposed friend.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Wow. And he was 12 at the time? He had just turned 12 a week prior. Oh, man. Oh, my God. So he's, this has been a few years, a few hard years for you, Gabby. Mary. I would tell you guys.
Starting point is 00:20:57 I saw you guys would be like, Carla, you still stand deep? Yeah. And where are you? You're in Los Angeles? No, Westminster.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Westminster. Okay, O-C. O-C. Okay. Yeah, but tell me about your kids. Which one? All of them. Talk about just.
Starting point is 00:21:17 My six-year-old, I had them with schools. He was, well, he had a friend. as they associated him with that friend and they tried to catch the friend. They didn't catch a friend. They caught my son walking home from school and he got assaulted and ended up at the ER.
Starting point is 00:21:37 There's police reports. So I had to move in schools. He don't want to go to school anymore. I still send them for like a couple weeks because it was last year for like during Christmas break. We had like a week before school break. But every day he was calling me, tell me mom, there, there, telling me stuff they're cussing at me they're calling me all kinds
Starting point is 00:21:58 of names calling me you know the P-word that I'm scared of them and I was like well obviously you're one and there's like six of them right so that's the one that's getting bullied and you moved in school so I'm sure that's tough and even just getting re like just assimilating to
Starting point is 00:22:16 a new school is its own thing and so you have four children and they're great yeah They go at each other, but that's siblings. But otherwise, they're amazing. They're amazing kids that wouldn't switch them for anything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:36 You're a single mom? Yeah. Okay. I know that must be tough too. And right now you're like, hey, I have to choose between buying them gifts or paying rent. And, of course, the roof over the head, that's priority. And your question to us is, how can I make my kids Christmas memorable this year without any gifts? I mean, yeah, there's obviously it's like, you know, family time is important.
Starting point is 00:23:07 You know, there's a lot of, there's been times like in the past where, you know, my mom didn't have much to give for a Christmas. And that was probably one of the most memorable ones. Like there was this store back in the day, and it was called Stephen Barry's. And it's like, it just had a bunch of college shirts, but everything was cheap. Shoes are 15 bucks. The shirts were like $5. And she was like, go crazy, 50 bucks or whatever. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:23:34 And I was just like, wow, like it meant a lot to me because she didn't have a lot, but she gave her last. You know what I'm saying? You appreciated that. Exactly. That one sticks out of my mind probably over most, you know, Christmas is because it's like the other ones weren't without, I didn't worry about those. It was just like, oh, what do you want?
Starting point is 00:23:49 Oh, okay, you get it. You know what I'm saying? That one kind of sticks out in my mind. for me personally. Yeah. Let's go to Eric. Eric, good morning, Eric. Good morning, bro.
Starting point is 00:24:01 What's up, bro? Good morning. Bro, what would you tell the home girl, Gabby? Personally, growing up, I was raised, I guess you can say poor. The best thing that I could tell her is I agree with Conqueror. I say just go ahead and have a sit down with them, talk, give him a hug, you know, and tell them, you know, because I was raised in a Mexican household where, unfortunately, my parents did tell me, hey, look, fortunately, we can't buy you. We don't have money this Christmas.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Hey, we're going to make some tamales, some porceli, you feel me? Yeah. So honestly, I could best, coming from, I guess the kid's side, I say the best is to pretty much just be honest and open with them. and if she really wants to do something with them, she could try looking into, I guess, toy drives because me growing up, my mom didn't really have money like that, so she would take it to, like, this, like, toll drives or fundraiser drive, and they would have kind of, like, little small festivities,
Starting point is 00:25:14 like hot cocoa and stuff and, like, slides or, like, winter slides, you know? Yeah. So majority of the time, sometimes you could get lucky and go ahead and sign up to programs like that or even like you could search around to your local community, you know? Thank you, bro. Yeah. Thank you. I appreciate it, Eric. That's what I was thinking, Loki because Westminster is by Irvine and Granite.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Irvine is like. Oh, yeah. I mean, tenant and a city. Richie rich. But Adriana's insurance, they have a sanator. Oh, yeah. And they said everything's free. They have the slides out that way.
Starting point is 00:25:48 They said every kid gets to take a photo with Santa and have a gift. And low key, like, that is what costs a pretty penny sometimes. But it's going to be absolutely free. So, yeah, I would suggest going to those things. Sometimes it's harder, like, if you're not in the places where it's all happening to go out there. Because we don't know her driving situation. We don't know, like, if she can get them all out there. But when I was thinking of where she, when asked her where she's from, like, okay, I don't know how far Irvine is from Westminster.
Starting point is 00:26:15 It's like 20 minutes. San Ana's closer. Santa Ana has a lot too. Yeah. So for me, I remember, like my most memorable Christmas was actually
Starting point is 00:26:23 the year that we were really struggling. And my mom somehow, she signed us up for, like, at school, a program for, like, lower income.
Starting point is 00:26:30 And I remember going on the Saturday and going, pick, like a huge box of just nothing but unwrapped toys. Yeah. And I remember choosing
Starting point is 00:26:38 my first Barbie ever. It's, that's been, like, my most memorable Christmas ever. And as a kid, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:26:44 I don't even understand like that we're poor or we're struggling or anything like that. Yeah. But it's like, like maybe her kids will like if she takes them to something like that it'll be like for them again memorable this is a chance for her to do something memorable like she's saying because obviously
Starting point is 00:26:57 like we all remember obviously we all get the stuff that we wanted at one point oh we got that we got this or the third whatever that but you know like sometimes you like the things you do remember are the most simplest things and for real and sometimes parents tend to stress yeah and when you're stressed you can't parent and then your kids notice yeah yeah when you're wild and out as a parent you're trying to figure something out, that's when your kids know this, my mom's acting crazy, my dad's acting wild,
Starting point is 00:27:22 or he's upset, or why is he mad, why is she, you know? Dude, show him that there's nothing wrong. They won't know the difference. I guess, easier said than done, right? But truly that's as, as, you know, for sure myself, you know,
Starting point is 00:27:39 not growing up with a lot, you know, we, yeah, we had times where it was like that. And the most memorable stuff was stuff that was just hella simple. And that's okay. I remember too Loki we didn't have it But like one of our
Starting point is 00:27:52 Tia's did And that's where we spent Christmas Because my friends like We spent Christmas at home Lookie you probably can have one gift That you guys got to share Okay
Starting point is 00:28:01 But if we go over your Tia's house Like it's popping There's a party there There's lights there Yeah we'll take the game For you And then Loki Not unlike
Starting point is 00:28:10 Maybe they'll be like Oh you're here Here's a gift for you Like But at least it felt like You're around people and it felt like a party because I'm assuming what she means
Starting point is 00:28:20 is like that night what is that night going to look like for her family granted we can't go to these toy drivers we can't do that's not on you know on Christmas
Starting point is 00:28:29 right like they can't that's what I was going to say they can't unwrap the toy on Christmas morning you know that's like yeah no yeah no I'm thinking of my barbing
Starting point is 00:28:40 and I miss you Teresa Teresa before or after the novel before and she was like a little Bram Barbie too. Louvre is the Barbie. Wadalupe the Barbie. Cindy.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Cindy and Whittier. What's so, Cindy? Yes. Cindy, talk to us. Good morning. Gabby. Okay. So, thankfully, my parents, they didn't have much, but they always found away.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Like, even something small, even have a few kids, whatever. But the reason that I've been trying to get through is my six-year-old was in the car, and he was hearing, because I listen to Brown Banks every morning. And my son has such a big heart, and he's only six years old. And he asked me if we can get them gifts. So I would like to sponsor, my son and I would like to sponsor all four kids. At least a gift, something that they can open. So I know.
Starting point is 00:29:47 I think she said it was Westminster, that she said. That's not far for me. I can have it shipped or I can either have them delivered, you know, by some type of carrier or something, some type of storm. But my son was already thinking, like, oh, we can get this for, you know, the little boy or the little girl. He's like, well, what is it? A little boy or a little girl?
Starting point is 00:30:13 Yeah. I'm like, I'm not sure. I'm like, if I get through, I'll ask. but I dropped them off. I really wanted him to be on the phone. Oh, so good. That's beautiful. One, that shows so much of his character and your parenting.
Starting point is 00:30:25 But, too, like, that's, I'm really thinking, like, that's what she kind of is hoping for, you know, that the people are coming out and support, you know? It takes a lot for a parent to express themselves, like, they don't have it. Yeah. They don't have it, but they're trying. They're trying. They don't just give up. They're trying one way or another. Even sending it to, you know, somebody, you know, bomb a bag, let you guys know.
Starting point is 00:30:54 Maybe like my son and myself that we're listening, you know, we can sponsor them. You know, it's like we can do one toy for them. Somebody else may be or, you know, or someone might be in the area or someone else might want to do it. And that makes, it's going to make it memorable for the kids. Yeah. Yeah. Adults, older kids, we understand, but the kids really don't. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:19 And it's like, they're so innocent. They don't really understand it. And they've been through a lot. Thank you so much. Yeah. Exactly. These kids have been through a lot that they didn't ask for, you know? No.
Starting point is 00:31:30 From what Gabby told us, you know, one of them at 12 years old got shot. The other one has gotten bullied, and so she's had to move them schools. Life has not been easy for Gabby. Let's go to Phillip. Philip and Garden Girl, what would you tell Gabby, who kind of is feeling like, dang, this Christmas is really going to suck. But I'm just trying my best to kind of like stay afloat. Meanwhile, making something happen for my kids. But I just don't know how.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Philip, what's up, bro? Hey, guys. Good morning. I really don't have advice, but here's what I want to do for Gabby. I live really close by to her. I want to plan a Disneyland trip for her and her kids. What? What?
Starting point is 00:32:09 Philip. Wow. Coming through. It takes a village. Yes, it does. Yes, sure. So if you guys connect me with her info, I'll definitely follow through. Thank you. What makes you want to do that, Philip? And I've heard her story, and she's so close by, and I just can't imagine what she's going through. I'm a parent myself, and, like, to hear that, it just breaks my heart.
Starting point is 00:32:34 And, you know, I just want to help her out. It definitely touched my heart for sure. Thank you so much, Philip. We're going to put you on the line. Disneyland Gifts. What? What? All right, let's go to.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Oh, Garden Grove is checking in. Let's go to Lexie. Lexi and Garden Grove. What's up, Lexi? Hi, good morning, brown, bag. Lexi. Lexi, talk to us. We're talking to our homegirl Gabby.
Starting point is 00:32:59 She's from Westminster and her and her kids have had it some. It's her plus four kids. And she really came to us. Low key, it takes a lot to say, hey, I don't got it like that. And I'm just trying to figure out. how to make it work and how to bring the holidays home to my kids when I don't have it. What's up, Lexi?
Starting point is 00:33:18 Yeah. Okay, so first of all, like you said, it takes a village. But I actually work at one of the FRCs located in Orange County. And I'm not too sure where she's located. But if she's located near Westminster High School, there's one, two minutes away that she can for sure show up and they will give her gifts because I work at their sister site. And if she wants to drive a little bit closer towards Huntington Beach, I can make that happen. They'll be unwrapped.
Starting point is 00:33:46 She can choose them. She'll take them home, and she can make it happen for her. Beautiful. What? What's FRC? I'm not aware of what the acronym stands for. Yeah, no, don't worry. So it's actually a family resource center.
Starting point is 00:33:59 So my main job is families where I work with families ages, newborns, the 18 years old. They come in. They tell me their story. I provide them with whatever it is, whether it's basic needs, hygiene, bags. therapy for the parents, kids, parenting classes, making their Christmas possible, food distributions, absolutely anything and everything. We're kind of like a hub where families come in and we make it happen for them, whether it's from therapy to parenting classes to making their Christmas happen.
Starting point is 00:34:27 Oh, that's awesome. And it's good to have the contact over there. Lexi, we would love to connect with you because Loki just maybe just help make it easier to go through that. All right, Lexi, hold on the line. Thank you so much. That's cute. KBWR FM, HD1, Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:34:45 It's Power 106. LA's number one for hip-hop. We're talking to our home girl, Gabby. Hey, Gabby, I'm going to go to you. Gabby, how's it feeling like you're seeing people kind of come in and help you? I guess sometimes your story, you kind of feel very hesitant to tell. But telling your story is so important, too, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:07 My son, he's still in the car over my 15-year-old. As soon as he heard Disney, he started crying because I've never taken them to Disneyland. What? Gabby, and you're like right there, like minutes, like maybe 15 minutes away. Yeah. Oh, my God. Wow.
Starting point is 00:35:24 Hold on the line, Gary. It takes a lot on him to cry, so I'm like, why are you crying? Yeah. Are you in a, are you, do you live in a house or do you, does your house have Christmas lights up? I live in an apartment. I wasn't going to put a Christmas tree up. But I went to work and then my daughter called me on FaceTime and she goes, Mom, I did something and I was like, what did you do?
Starting point is 00:35:48 I'm thinking the worst. And she's like, no, look. And she spread her out and she put the Christmas tree up all by herself. Oh, nice. Well, that's good. My wife, Nikki, actually just text me. And she said that she wants to donate a gift card for you to be able to buy dinner for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So we're going to send you something as well from our family, okay?
Starting point is 00:36:11 Gabby? Thank you. Another thing, my, well, he'll be eight on Monday. He shares a
Starting point is 00:36:18 birthday with Concrete. Oh, wow. On the 22nd? The birthday twin. So we,
Starting point is 00:36:27 yeah, so we got to get him his birthday gift and that. Okay, good. Both.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Good. How old is he? Christian, also. His name is Christian? What? What? Is that your
Starting point is 00:36:38 little junior? Mama. I know. How old is he? Eight on Monday. Eight on Monday. I'm going to hook him up with some WSS stuff. How about that?
Starting point is 00:36:50 We're good with that? First birthday? Let's go. We're going to get on some new kicks and all that. Matching kicks. Matching kicks. Me and him matching kicks. With him.
Starting point is 00:36:59 With him, my dad. Just kidding. Mom papa. Me and my ego. Yeah, you give, look, the, the best thing about being vulnerable because it can be tough, it can be hard. Yeah. Is you get, you allow people to meet you there.
Starting point is 00:37:16 You allow people to also open up and you allow people to also give you, uh, what they could because I know everybody's struggling right now. So I love to see that for, for Gabby. Let's go to Josh and Costa Mesa. Josh. Zang. I love it going to live. So Mesa, Josh.
Starting point is 00:37:32 What up, Josh? The OCs checking in. I know. Josh, talk to us. I'm actually sitting out here in front of a Home Depot. I just started a company about three months. ago. Life is amazing. What kind of company?
Starting point is 00:37:43 Hold on. Hold on. Yeah, fool. What kind of company, Josh? I have a junk removal company. Okay. Okay. Well, what kind of, Josh? Pull up, dog. Pull up in my house, don't let me tell you. I got you guys all day long.
Starting point is 00:37:59 So, hey, I did grow up as a kid, you know, really didn't have any Christmases. Came from an addiction family. I went through addiction. I have eight years silver. So basically, you know, the advice I have for her is keep the family values, my wife from each of gone. And it's just getting together with the family, spending time. But on that side note, we know everything's hard right now. So things are good for me.
Starting point is 00:38:28 I want to donate, too. I was in front of Home Depot right now. I was going to pick up a fresh Christmas tree from them. But it sounds like they got a Christmas tree. They already got the kick. So I'm here. I want to help out. and I just want to make this amazing Christmas for that whole entire family.
Starting point is 00:38:43 Wow. Thank you, Josh. You're so sweet. Then he drove to Home Depot like, I got it. I'm right here. Like I said, I just started a new business. And if they're not calling me, I'm out here looking for them. And just this whole Orange County has treated me so good.
Starting point is 00:38:59 And I just want to give back. Josh, it sounds like you do something else, my dude. Yeah, Josh. Go to Los, Josh. Go to Lowe's, please. Not Home Depot. I know. I know, but some people save me.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Don't say I'm looking for them. Yeah. Sounds crazy. Hold on, John. Thanks, Josh. Hold on, Josh. Sounds like a setup right. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:23 Like, it's just crazy. Oh, that's funny. So cute. Okay. Barb baby girl. Gabby hit us up. Does your wife are going to get dinner for her? Yes.
Starting point is 00:39:33 Yes. No, she just texted me. She's like, hey, I want to get her, like, either a digital gift card for her to be able to go to the grocery store. Yes. You know, get a dinner for Christmas Eve and Christmas. So we're going to hook him up for both. And then we're going to hook up her son for her birthday as well. Amazing.
Starting point is 00:39:48 That's sweet. Christian. Little Christian. Little Christian. Little Christian. Veronica and Covino, we're talking to the homegirl Gabby. Gabby hit us up with a very open heart about what's going on in her life right now. She doesn't have it. She had to decide for either Christmas presents for her kids or rent for the crib.
Starting point is 00:40:06 And she had to go with rent, but feels so guilty about it. really wants her kids who deserve it to have a great Christmas. Their age is eight on Monday to 15 and they've been through a lot, bullying, shootings. Like, this is no joke. Veronica, what would you tell her baby girl? I would just say, I mean, the kids know, right? So I would just say to have like a meal with them. They know what's going on and they appreciate everything.
Starting point is 00:40:36 So, but I wanted to call, sorry I'm getting emotional. know, um, I wanted to donate some money and maybe I could like sell her some money so her kids can go to the store and pick out, you know, a toy, something that they like. Um, so yeah, that's, that's what I just wanted to. I grew up in a household with the single mom so I know the struggle. Um, we had, you know, we used to have the, my mom would take us to like payless and we'd get, you know, one shoe for, one pair of shoes for the year. So I get the struggle and I've been blessed in my life and I just want to bless
Starting point is 00:41:11 another family. Thank you, Vero. I appreciate that. Thank you so much for calling it. I know it gets emotional because we're all tapping into the times that it happened for us or it's happening for us right now. The stuff don't get easy.
Starting point is 00:41:26 This year hasn't been easy. 2025 was no joke. 25 was here to demolish us. Yeah, we made it through. Even the way it started with the fires. The fire, ice, the economy. everything.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Let's double up. I'm down too. I'm down. I think we're going to be seeing you on Christmas. Hey. You might pull up on you. Yeah, Gabby, I think look cute. We're going to pull up on you, Santa and his reindeer.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Thank you. We have to. You said your son's in the car? Yeah, my 15-year-old's in the car. What's his name? His name is Oliver. Oliver. What's up, Oliver?
Starting point is 00:42:07 Hello. Hey, Oliver, you have a great mom, a mom that loves you a lot. You know that, huh? Yeah. I know. You and your siblings, going to school, acting right, being good? Yeah. Oliver.
Starting point is 00:42:25 Oliver, we want to make sure that you guys are good, okay? So we're going to be checking in with you. We're going to make sure that Christmas don't. He sounds great. All he said is, yeah, twice, concrete. Ice concrete. Oliver, talk to us about
Starting point is 00:42:37 I guess the holidays for you. What do they mean for you, bro? I don't really know. That's okay. It's okay to be nervous. Tell us about your mom. Nice.
Starting point is 00:42:57 He tries to get us whatever we want. He tries, like, anything she does whatever she can. Yeah. Yeah, she tried a lot. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:43:17 It's good enough. It's good enough for me. I know. It's good enough for me. What do you want? What do you want? Give you whatever you want. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:25 You want pro club? That club? Any club? Yeah. I'll give you any club. Are you crying? No, yes. Yeah, he is.
Starting point is 00:43:35 He is crying. The arena club. It's tough, bro. It's tough to be open around strangers. Yeah. It's tough to be open around. people in front of you, this will start doing... I start joking around when I
Starting point is 00:43:47 want to cry. So whatever, hey, let's go to commercial. I've been drinking the energy drink. To keep the tears from flowing. I'm so energized now. We got to get it together. I want to celebrate. Same. We're going to hit you on so
Starting point is 00:44:02 let's celebrate. I will grab the bottle. We also got to give her a give. We also got to give Gabby a give because it's tough out there, all right? So I want to make sure you have a nice Fad day, Gabby, I'll make sure you're right. Time massage. Let's go. All of us. We don't hit up Concrete's wife because she has amazing skin care and body care.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Yes. All of that. Gabby, we're going to make sure you have a good Christmas too. I know you're thinking about the kids. I'm thinking about you. Okay, Gabby. Thank you. You're welcome, honey pie.
Starting point is 00:44:32 All right. My homie just hit me up. Yeah, I'll donate. He said, well, who? She's still mom. Yeah, my homie. Yeah, my homie, Oscar and Wendy, they said they want to gift them a family photo shoot. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:44:42 All that's true. Oscar and Wendy. All right, Gabby, we're going to get your info. We're going to make sure that this Christmas is not what you thought it was going to be. Okay, mamacita? Thank you. Santa has landed. You work hard, and you have your support system and your kids,
Starting point is 00:44:58 and now you have the support system in Los Angeles, O-C-I-E, the Annoe, the Annoe Valley, everywhere. Okay, even the homies in Chicago are checking in. So thank you so much for calling in, and that's a beautiful way to send the homie help line. It is. We're going to get her in full. We're going to hook her up.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Stop. Who's crying? Yeah. All right. Keep it here. You're sweating from the eyes. Yeah, that's all. More brown bag mornings on the way.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Hot with emotion. And do you want to give them a graphic? I've never seen you emotional, big. Give them a graphic. It's crazy. I need to celebrate it. You want to give him a sweater, dog? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:34 I want to give her a Burke Williams gift card over there. They have some over in those, you know? It's a spot? I don't know. I don't think so. Burke Williams? Yeah. She deserves it.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Concrete's going to get them dinner. I go to the Oriental spa. You're over here? No, but that... The Burke Chrysler spa? Burke William. The Burke Chrysler. The Burke Chrysler.
Starting point is 00:45:55 She's going on. I got her on that. Angie. Angie will help us give the... Oh, yeah, yeah. She's like maybe 15 minutes away from me. Oh, perfect. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:05 You drop it all off. Yeah, I'll DJ in the living room or something. Yeah. Live stream. Well, there are opening presents. DJ Gregsy. Thank you. We got them with some pro club stuff.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Yeah, pro club, hat club, whatever. All the clubs. Every club. Every club I can think of. Sam's club. Maybe she needs to think of that the club. You never know. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Every club I could think of right now. Angie was going down with the cheese made. Oh, my God. We got to talk about Ice Spice and her fit at the SpongeBob movie premiere. He's talking about that. Oh, my God. Did you guys see what she was wearing? It's a one of Chino.
Starting point is 00:46:44 What? Look at it at Brown Bag Mornings 106 on Instagram if you have it. Yes. It's a white dress, super tight, skin tight, you know, see through. And you can see her bottoms. Who does that? And the front part. I get it.
Starting point is 00:46:59 She's standing, staying on brand and all that stuff. You see her underwear. You see her, yeah. You see everything pretty much. And I get it. She's standing on staying on brand, but it's like this is a. movie premiere. It's SpongeBob SquarePants.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Which makes sense because she has that song, Big Guy. Big Guy. Big God. Big God. SpongeBob, Big Guy. Pants, okay. Spongebob, Big Got Pants Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Yeah, she's on the soundtrack. I think she's even in, I saw the movie, a great movie. She's, there's a scene where at least someone in SpongeBob looks like her. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, she has the pull on here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Yeah. Yeah, dude. But the parents are so mad at her. say like why would you wear this? Why are they mad just because she wore a bikini bottom? I mean, that's a thong bottom. Yeah. I'm wondering if it was the premiere or a screening, which is two different things.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Oh, sorry, yeah, it was a screening. It's like a screening that they have for multiple. It was like multiple in one, I think. Okay. Because it's like small theaters. Gotcha. Multiple installations. Because sometimes screenings, not for nothing.
Starting point is 00:48:04 Like, not just trying to get rid of it, but for the doubt. Sometimes screenings, you don't necessarily know kids are going to be. to be at the screenings. Yeah. True. Sometimes like we have a media screening or something like or there's a screening for family and friends or things like that. It's a SpongeBob movie.
Starting point is 00:48:17 It is SpongeBob movie, but we grew up on SpongeBob and we're in our 30s now. You feel me? She was trying to show the yams to the critics, not the kids. Probably. But like I'm wondering if she was told like kids will be here. Because yes, duh, totally know that it's a SpongeBob movie. But when you say screening, it could just be up in the air. I've been at screenings and there's no kids there.
Starting point is 00:48:40 I've been at screenings and it's pure, like, professionals. Yeah. No matter what, like, no matter what movie it was, right? Yes, no matter what type of movie it is, right? And so that kind of would make sense of why she dressed like that to me. But, like, I know that Jazzy, she's an interviewer. Yeah. And she's a kid, she was there.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Granted, she interviews and like backstage at concerts and all that. She's killing it. Shout up, baby, go, Jazzy. But she was there and she's a child, so. And she took a picture with her, too. I mean, that's the day where boys become men. They look at Ice Spice and they're like, yeah, I love this movie. They're going to remember that movie for the rest of their lives now.
Starting point is 00:49:13 That's great. It's a canon moment for them. Yeah. Oh, my God. What's going on? Sorry, you guys. But moving on to another story, you guys. We got to talk.
Starting point is 00:49:23 You guys remember the whole big thing that happened at the Coldplay concert when two couples got caught up cheating? Yes. When a cheating couple was holding each other. Oh, look at these two. Either they're having an affair or they're just very shot. And the fact that they said it out loud to is crazy work. Because the way they try to duck the cameras
Starting point is 00:49:43 once the like the low-key kiss cam went to him. And they were co-workers. Yeah. Boy, it was like the CEO and like HR that were actually like over there. God, that's juicy. I forgot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:53 CEO and HR. I wonder what our HR things are that. We never asked. Cross departments. Yeah. And they're not even famous. They were just like a random people, right? But everybody started knowing about their business
Starting point is 00:50:03 where they work at. Astronomer. I still remember. Yeah. But now Homegirl's talking. about it. Her name is Kristen and she says you know what, it was a bad decision and now she's blaming it
Starting point is 00:50:14 on the alcohol. She's saying, you know what? A couple of high noons is what made this actually happen and she took responsibility of it and said you know what? Me and Byron were separated from their spouses at the time and the kiss was the one off moment rather than... We didn't even see the kiss. The kiss? Yeah, she wasn't so snitching.
Starting point is 00:50:33 Girl! She's self-snitching at this point. Oh, she blamed on the high noon. She's blaming it on. The high no. The high noon. I would believe it if it was like a cut water. Yeah. But she wanted to do that.
Starting point is 00:50:45 If she had a high noon. Yeah. I mean, I've had high noon. They're not crazy. It doesn't make you do that. No, it doesn't make you do crazy things. It doesn't make you cheat.
Starting point is 00:50:52 No. 4.5% alcohol. So it's not even bad. High noon. High noon, you know what to do. What? Get them as spokespersons. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:01 You want to get out crazy? And then they can do wild things. Blame it on the noon. Yeah. Blame it on the noon. No, no, no, no. No. Mashup coming up on Monday.
Starting point is 00:51:12 The guy hasn't said anything. No, but he did resign. Like, both of them actually did resign before they even got fired. But, I mean, now they don't have a job. The guy's not going to say anything. He's still trying to get his family back. Yeah, he is. I think she was recently either divorced or recently married.
Starting point is 00:51:26 Well, both of them were saying that they were separated from their spouses. But from my understanding, like, Byron, like, the dude was still with his whole wife with the family and stuff like that. Oh, yeah. He's still in the dog house. He's still fighting back. or else he would have said something, or you would see him out. He's fighting for his life. Yeah, I think he wanted to sue or something like that too.
Starting point is 00:51:44 Yeah, nothing makes you wake up faster than, oh way, I got caught. Oh, my family, my family. No, babe. I'm a malo. I need help. I have a problem. It was the noons. Me going to get a ton.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Oh, my God. Oh, my God. All right, but moving to something more serious, you guys, we got to do talk about the airplane that crashed out in North Carolina where seven victims were actually seven people inside the plane actually did pass away
Starting point is 00:52:17 with a retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffl and his whole family was inside that did pass away. Biffle. Biffle sorry. There is an ongoing investigation as to why it actually happened because from what happened is that the airplane took off but
Starting point is 00:52:33 then something happened that they had to land back and when they landed that's when the whole thing happened, right? And so that investigation is going on saying, like, hey, what caused this to happen? Yeah, so that problem was in the air and they had to come back. And that's what I think they crashed landed.
Starting point is 00:52:48 That's what happened. So he was there with his wife? Yeah, I do. With, yeah, so it's him himself, his wife, Christina. They're two children, writer five years old and Emma of 14. Oh, that's very horrible.
Starting point is 00:53:00 And they don't have any other kids? That was the whole family there? Yeah, that was their family. I'm not sure if it was like a comedian or a YouTuber that, made the announcement he's like they were coming to see me and so he felt like super guilty about that
Starting point is 00:53:15 but you were telling us about you know his car yeah the cheez-it's car he had the cheezes-as car I don't know if you guys remember but it was a really known car because it was a cheese it's one it was bright red with like big cheese it on the front of it it was also on a lot of like commercials too on a subway commercial like sandwich commercials and stuff like that's awful
Starting point is 00:53:31 yeah I'm not familiar with NASCAR too much but I've definitely heard the name before yeah he's really known He's really funny. That's why he's really out there. And then he also went viral a little bit for confronting another NASCAR driver and stuff like that. Oh, yeah. He, like, pushed him and stuff.
Starting point is 00:53:45 So he's known in the NASCAR world. I saw something, and I was reading on him a little bit. And I saw that a couple of years back, he was using planes to get food to places that couldn't, weren't reachable in certain areas. So, like, if people were in need of food, I'm not too sure where exactly it was or what was happening. but he made sure to make food be available to the people living in the areas that couldn't just get it without probably taking a hike or going like super far to a town. So you see something like that and you learn more about the person, right?
Starting point is 00:54:22 And clearly any loss of life is big. But it's just really, really sad to see right before the holidays. Yeah, literally one week away. That was three. Yeah, they called them the Biff. Tragic. The Biff. That was his name.
Starting point is 00:54:33 I saw in the description of like when he passed that, They listed them as like a humanitarian to your point. So it's like he was just doing great on Earth. He was. Hey, we're live. Brownback Mornings 106 on Instagram. We are live because we made gingerbread houses. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:50 Homes by Brown Bag. Okay. We can make your home today. We got gingerbread houses. And the key to the gingerbread houses, it has to withstand the earthquake test. Okay. We call it earthquake umbi. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Umberto's going to come around. And he's going to shake the paper that we've put under the gingerbreadthes your bread houses. Whoever's can stay more stand-up. No, I'm probably going to go last. Whosovers can stay more stand-up? More stand-up. Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:15 You win the tickets to Magic Mountain for the callers on the line. Let me tell you who is trusting you with their home. Okay? First up, we got Daisy in Santa Ana. Oh, excuse me. Destiny. On my eyes.
Starting point is 00:55:26 Destiny. Destiny. What? Daisy was Greg's destiny at one point. Destiny. Coming to the stage. All right. Destiny is going for Greg.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Destiny is going for Greg. Go ahead, Destiny. Destiny, you believe in Greg? Or just like everyone else is taken? Yeah, I believe in Greg. He's a Charger fan, just like us. Yeah. Oh, wow. There we go.
Starting point is 00:55:48 There we go. They're killing me right now, I hear. We got Daniel in Temecula. Daniel, who you going for, Daniel? Andy. Angie. Daniel. Angie loves Temecula, too, by the way.
Starting point is 00:56:00 I do like their wine. Mm-hmm. All right, we got Eric in Garden Grove. Eric in Garden Grove is going for Vic. Eric, Let's go. Good morning, brown bag. What's up, Eric?
Starting point is 00:56:10 I'm going to. Let's go, bro. You got to get this. Let's go. We got it, bro. You should see my gingerbread. It's incredible. It already doesn't have a roof,
Starting point is 00:56:20 and I don't know if that disqualifies him. I feel like it should. No, no, no, no, no. It took the top off. No, but that's like me saying, like, oh, I'm just going to put one wall because I just needs one wall. Everybody has a preference. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:31 I feel like he's already cheating. I'm not cheating. us in the chat brown bag when he's yeah he has no room all of us put a roof on our on our on our gingerbread vic didn't it's roofless all right you're gonna have to give him your own magic melon tickets Ethan Ethan Ethan in Huntington Park what's up Ethan? I don't know how a new house needs patching up already.
Starting point is 00:57:07 Hey, but don't it's going to be to go. No, the house is leaning like a cholo already. That part. For that part. Sherry. What's up? People are commenting. Vic's house already pisses me off. See, Victor? It looks stable, doesn't it?
Starting point is 00:57:18 No. Sherry. Sherry and Echo Park. That house cannot, it's snowing on that house. It looks like he has Elmer's glue all over it. You guys were afraid to get your hands dirty. I wasn't. Oh, that wasn't. You just don't.
Starting point is 00:57:29 Yeah, I went to go watch. Sherry. Sherry. Sherry and Echo Park. What's up, Sherry? Sherry. Good morning, Brobaug. Sherry, I'm going to tell you right now, Sherry,
Starting point is 00:57:37 this may not help in the earthquake part of it, but my house is beautiful. It is the most beautiful house in the blog. I put a chimney with little gingerbread on it. Like, it looks bomb, Sherry, okay? She has little gingerbread characters on top of her. I believe that you letty, you're a mom just like me. Let's go, big Sherry.
Starting point is 00:57:55 I'm going to make sure. Very nice. Very nice. The guys are hating, but they're like, oh, no, letti, you're going to make it worse for yourself because you're putting stuff on the room. All right. I can't believe you had the same amount of time that we did.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Yeah. We all started at the same time. Unbelievable. We all started the same time. That is so good. We all got the same 24. Yeah. Like we all had the same amount of time.
Starting point is 00:58:16 All right. Umberto, start with Greg over there. Start with Greg. And you're going to do, let's do five seconds or three seconds of earthquake Umberto. Oh, I was thinking 10. Five seconds of earthquake Umberto. All right.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Ready. set, go. Five. Four, three, two, one. Harder. Stop. Look at that. It's stayed put?
Starting point is 00:58:39 Not one bread fell off. Yeah, I am. Umberto, your goal is to make it fall down. Wait, wait, don't make it crazy than you did over there. No, but, Umberto, your goal, stop being nice. Don't be nice. Don't be nice. No, wait.
Starting point is 00:58:51 This isn't your friend. He has to do exactly what he did over there. Hey, you're from Watts. What's your rival? What's your rivalhood? Ooh, um, don't say it. Be careful. Just pretend it's the rivalhood.
Starting point is 00:59:00 Anybody from across Alabama. Okay. I'm just saying, hold on. Be this, do the same thing. Don't do this. Well, no, no. Pretend you're across Alameda. Go.
Starting point is 00:59:08 No, wait, wait. What did you pretend to be over there? All right. Go back to Greg. Go back to Greg. Five. Oh, he didn't do that. He didn't do that.
Starting point is 00:59:20 No, no. He didn't even do that over there. All of a sudden, you want to be mad over here. Concrete. Hey, hold on. Hold on. Concrete, your roof didn't even last a second. Oh, I haven't put you.
Starting point is 00:59:31 He's like that. Oh, more than Zito. All right. All right, you're on Angie. You're in the good old hood of Santa Ana, okay? Sanana wins. All right. Three, two, one, go.
Starting point is 00:59:42 One, two, three, four, five. What, okay? Oh! It didn't fall. It didn't fall. The roof is now broken. Just cracked a little. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Air conditioning popped up. Hey, bro. Give this full like a nine point something. Be the, that one earthquake in China, bro. Oh my God. Oh my God. Go to 94 and be the Northridge earthquake, okay, dog? It's not going to fall.
Starting point is 01:00:06 All right. Three, two, one, go. Five, four, three, three, two, what? Yeah, oh, yeah. Oh, look, you still standing. Not the roof. The wall fell off. The roof.
Starting point is 01:00:20 The roof. The roof is on fire. All right. So far, Greg is good, and Angie is a little bit off. Yeah, just cracked. Okay. All right. For what?
Starting point is 01:00:29 No, that wasn't even fair. They had more time to bake. It did. To harden. To erect. It was a lot more time to. Essentially five more seconds than all of you. Hit me with a little after shock.
Starting point is 01:00:42 No, it wasn't. He was a little after shock. I'm kidding. Do the same thing. Five, four. Oh, wait, wait. Three, two, one. Go.
Starting point is 01:00:49 Five, four. Three, two, one. Harder, Omerto. That's hard. Bro, he's scared. Don't be scared of me. Go, go, go. Try it again.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Let these fools. D'le d'uro. D'uro. D'uro. D'u. Oh! After seven, eight seconds, he was able to drop line. No, it's because after him doing what he did to us.
Starting point is 01:01:11 No. He did the same thing. He went soft on. He loves you too much. He probably want to see him shake Greg up one more time. Yes, because I have a history in the flavor unit. I know. He sat with them during the Christmas party.
Starting point is 01:01:22 I feel low-key mind stayed put for the five seconds. Angie's your state put. Yes. Greg's your state put. Yes. So all of our callers are going to want to go to the Magic Mountain. Thank you. Congree.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Y'all. Shake my concrete, shake it. Shake it well. Shake Greg's right now. Shake him. See, you can't. What the hell did you do? Oh, gosh. Well, it's not even a house.
Starting point is 01:01:45 There we go. Hey! He broke it. Now it's broken. He punched Greg's house. Yeah, he punched Greg's house. He huffed and he puffed. He didn't fall until concrete over here picked it up and then threw it.
Starting point is 01:01:58 He did not pick it up. He literally picked it up and went, boom. And fell everywhere. It was just a little ten point. You had a broken home before concrete came here. Oh, that's true. You can't break what's already broken. Oh, nice.
Starting point is 01:02:11 I feel sorry. I feel some baro Santa. I feel amazing. Yeah, I feel great, right? I feel great. We've done great today. We've helped people. And I think that's what makes it a holiday.
Starting point is 01:02:23 Yes. That's what makes it. Grima. Grima. Creama season. Isn't that what Christmas? Isn't that what Christmas is? Like you laugh, you cry.
Starting point is 01:02:33 You fight. You fight. We're all fighting right now. Live, laugh, love. Yeah. We need a frame in here that says that. Live love laugh. It's an emotional show.
Starting point is 01:02:41 It is. And she's dyslexia move the words. Live, love. Live laugh. Live laugh. Live love. Oh, that laugh. Wait.
Starting point is 01:02:50 What? Live love laugh. No. What is it? You got it backwards. Live laugh love. Live love. Live love.
Starting point is 01:02:58 No. Why did you do that? Oh my disrespect. You just said it the same. You're trying to piss me off. Live laugh? No. Yeah, live, love.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Now I don't know what's right. Wait, wait. Wait, wait. Now you're making me second answer. No, it's live, laugh, love. I feel like, I feel like life is in there somewhere. It's live, lap, love. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:16 And you said live, love, laugh. I've seen enough bathrooms to love, love. Oh my God. Lift. Lift. Lift. Lift. Lift.
Starting point is 01:03:23 Love. Left. Left. You know what's crazy that I always said when we play rock, paper, scissors. I always say paper, scissors, rock. Why, Angie. That's how it's supposed to be. Yeah, that's how it's supposed to do it.
Starting point is 01:03:35 But everybody says it differently. Rock paper scissors? Yeah, rock paper scissors. But I always said, it's rock paper scissors. It's rock paper scissors. Paper scissors rock. This is like the birdie thing.
Starting point is 01:03:46 This is like, that's an O.C. No, this is the Mandela effect. It's paper scissors rock. Rock paper scissors. My whole life. Bro, I didn't want to punch Greg today. Greg, you're not even from O.C. You can't even say this is an O.C thing.
Starting point is 01:04:00 I know, well, stop trying to be in a Lose. I never said that. I thought it was big. I said it. But he's close enough. I never said that. All right. I said paper, scissors,
