Episode Date: January 9, 2026

The crew navigates a legendary Homie Helpline as they debate if Vanessa should "stay toxic" and pass off her "revenge baby"—conceived with her ex's first cousin—as her baby daddy’s own child bef...ore the "cousin-brother" is born. The comedy keeps going as the squad roasts a 79-year-old millionaire’s insane checklist for a wife, which includes a helicopter license, a ban on Scorpios, and a strict "no Irish or Scottish" policy. Starting point is 00:00:00 Before the podcast starts, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, leave a review, and send the link to a friend while you're at it. The more Brownback, the better. Come on. Now, how we're going to say it's brownback mornings. One is the days. Good morning to you. Before we start the show, our love to Keith Porter, a man who passed away in Northridge the other day from an off-duty ice agent. Also, our love to Renee Good, a woman who passed away from an on-duty ice agent over in Minneapolis.
Starting point is 00:00:24 And I would also like to send love to the countless people that have been detained by ICE. that have unfortunately ended up passing away. I saw a new story about a man that recently passed in Ice custody. I believe he was 42 years old. You shouldn't have to. It's not necessary. This thing is real life. Messed up.
Starting point is 00:00:47 And as much as we would love to look the other way, because this stuff is so, this life is so awesome, we can't. We got to keep our eyes open, our ears open, our hearts open. and more than more than anything, our mind's open because life is really, really tough right now. 100%. All right. It's Brownback morning,
Starting point is 00:01:08 because Buenos Diaz, good morning to you. It's not all serious, I promise, but we can't be us without talking about things like that. Now, let's get into, don't you know I am local? What's up? This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Mesa? Don't you know I'm local?
Starting point is 00:01:28 The first year, I don't buy my family. family scratchers for Christmas. There's like hella millionaires because of scratchers. Yeah. Did you guys know that? Yeah, I just seen it. You could be a millionaire for scratchers.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Yeah. Four L.A. County residents are rinking in the new year as newly minted millionaires. What? After purchasing winning California lottery scratchers tickets. The stores are in Gardena, Downey, Maywood, and Inglewood, bruh. That's right here. I thought you could only win like 50, 60 bucks. Oh no.
Starting point is 00:02:05 I know somebody personally that won a million dollars off of Scratcher. A scratcher? This year? No, last year. Oh, man, a couple years ago. Oh, okay, okay. A couple years ago. Wait, who was it?
Starting point is 00:02:15 They don't like to. Well, you just did. You just did that. Somebody's close to me. Somebody very close to me. I can't say, I swear. I'm not even being funny. I can't say.
Starting point is 00:02:25 It was here. But you did, Vick. I know, but I can't specifically say who it is, but it's somebody very close to me. But yeah, it's real. It's really real. Let him part 20 bucks, bro. Ask them and then let me.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Okay. It's been a couple years. I don't know. I hope it's all still there. I didn't know that. I thought it was like small amounts that you would win. No, man. It's real.
Starting point is 00:02:45 It's legit. Scratchers are, you know, you can really make some real bread off of it. Bro, five one million dollar scratcher prizes were recently claimed in Southern Cali, including four in L.A. County. Well, what I heard from that is if the city starts with the wood, play scratchers in that city because Maywood, Inglewood, there was another, what, something else? No.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Oh, okay. Gardena, Downey, Maywood, and Inglewood. Okay, well, Hollywood is next. I'm going to go to North Hollywood. North Hollywood, exactly. It has wood in the name. Try it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Hey, San Gabriel, let's change our name to San Gabriel Wood. Bro, what? That's amazing. Yeah. All right. Well, did you know that lottery tickets, they support California education? What? Really?
Starting point is 00:03:25 Mm-hmm. While the winners do celebrate their payouts, lottery officials know that every ticket sold. also benefits public education lottery proceeds provide supplemental funding for K-12 schools, community college, CSU, and UC campuses. You know what? Let me see me want to buy one now.
Starting point is 00:03:41 You're doing the good... You guys have a bunch of scratches. I have a bunch of scratches. You guys want to scratch them? He's being suspicious. He says he knows somebody and then now... I'm serious. Think they're scratched already.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Oh, okay, I have more. I have more. They get through my birthday. I never scratched them. And if I win, I have more. Look, I swear. Oh, my God. He has like a whole...
Starting point is 00:04:00 I'm telling you. Did you win? No, it wasn't me, bro. Have you ever won anything significant? I've never won't. No, look, Loteria. Who wants played Loteria? I'll play Loteria.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Okay. All right, all right. You guys have a minute. I don't even scratch them. Oh, my God. We're doing scratches live on here. I don't scratch them. I go straight to the point.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Oh, this one's called Sunny Money. This one's got sunny money. Oh, here you go. Send me good juju everybody. We need a Mayback. All right. Sorry. We're scratching.
Starting point is 00:04:26 We're scratching. We're scratching live on air right now. Oh, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Okay. All right. Let me see Lottery I go straight to the app
Starting point is 00:04:35 If I win, I'm sharing my Some things with whoever's listening right now Alright, let's see But I didn't say how much You get a high five if you went If I win Any more Oh my God
Starting point is 00:04:49 This is thrilling What if somebody wins live on it? I like this feeling All right Keep it here More Brownback mornings on the way We'll tell you if we won Including we're going to find out
Starting point is 00:04:59 Who in Vicks family won that million dollars? Was it your girlfriend, Jordan? No. I would have spent that already. No, she would love you. That's the sound that I'm police. The petty police. You're petty.
Starting point is 00:05:15 You're just petty. I'm being petty. Petty, petty girl. Pretty and a pettiest. Pretty. Petriker 1-9. Let's go. Gotta go down to Hollywood and Highland.
Starting point is 00:05:26 That's your cowboy city? Let's go. Whoa, God, chill out. All right, look. Today's petty suspect of the day is somebody that posed as a police officer and trying to do like a funny little pranker segment. Not like the petty police that we do here on Power 106. Please do not get confused.
Starting point is 00:05:46 But it's a streamer that is dressed up in like a cute little sexy cop. Yeah, she's like a little shorts. Little sexy cop outfit. She thought. And she's down at Hollywood and Highland. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That area. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:03 People don't learn until they learn, until they catch, like, the right one. Yeah. So she was going around, giving away petty tickets to people. She would go up to people unsuspecting and be like, hey, I'm going to give you a ticket for having, like, I don't know, having worn your shirt two times in, I don't know, on a week or something. Just dumb, dumb petty things to give it.
Starting point is 00:06:29 There's a man sitting down and she goes up to him And she tries to give him a ticket for having his shoes untied And like I'm telling you, pick the wrong one or the right one Maybe need it Because you've got to see how he addressed her when she came up to him Check this out Excuse me, I just had to administer you a ticket It's for having your shoes tied
Starting point is 00:06:54 For not having your shoes tied And then he's like, I don't want to be on camera it seems like he was really polite at that point. Yeah. As they were walking away, supposedly, reported, because it wasn't on camera, he said next time I'm going to spit on you, right? And so then she's on stream.
Starting point is 00:07:10 This is live. She starts going back and forth with her cameraman. Check this out. He said next time I'm going to spit on your stupid ass. Yeah. People have no fucking humor, bro. Just to make a point. What?
Starting point is 00:07:22 People like to double down just to make a point. He could have just like said that on camera. He could have just said that on camera. to like my stream to catch it, right? Oh, my stream angle up and I can get a lot of galaxies. Be careful what you wish for. Because that man that was sitting on the side decided to pull up and be like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:07:38 I was too kind. Yeah. And he went in on them like she had requested, at least doing it on camera. It went down. Listen to this. I think I learned my lesson from that one. Hey, check it off. The next time you do it, this is your last warning.
Starting point is 00:07:53 You did it to me twice. Stop disrespecting me. Bro, I don't know you. Don't let her get you in trouble. Because you're a guy, bro. Stop doing that. Don't that a female get you in trouble. It's very disrespectful.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I mean, we walked away. I don't know you. You don't know me. Don't do me like that. I'm going through something of my life. I just lost my mother. I don't need no motherfuckin. We're people sticking their camera in my face.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Yeah. Yeah. He pulled up on like the scooters. Yeah. And you know, he really tore it into her. You see her kind of backtracking. Like, you know what? Well, we left.
Starting point is 00:08:26 What we did all of that. And that's why sometimes when these prank shows or these prank streams, you've got to be careful. Bro, how are you going to pull up to a black or brown man in L.A. and pretend you're going to give him a ticket? Yeah. How is that going to work out for you? Tone deaf. You know what I was about saying?
Starting point is 00:08:42 I was about to say that anybody in L.A., if you're giving them any type of ticket violation, we're going to crash out. Oh, yeah. We hate ticket violations like that. And it's not for play-play, but you learned, lady, you learned today. She learned that she's not in Kansas anymore. Yeah, yeah. That's the bye-bye on Dorothy.
Starting point is 00:08:58 It's like when influencers and streamers come down to LA to make content oh be careful. And going to Hollywood in Highland like that's such a rookie mistake
Starting point is 00:09:06 like you think like oh my God the stars and I'm like bruh it's not like that down watch you back there's more rocks than stars there I think it's justified
Starting point is 00:09:17 for that reason that's why he went up to him and was like yo like that could be it could be a worse person like a word his response was almost like
Starting point is 00:09:23 a warning like she's going to get you messed up bro because if you do to a dude, they're not going to go in on her, they're going on you, the dude in this whole situation. That's true. It's true. Hey, but they got it on camera like she asked. He said, next time I'm going to spit on your stupid ass. Yeah. People have no fucking humor, bro. Just to make a point. What? People like a double down just to make a point. He could have just like said that on camera.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Did he try to tell her like go double down, make a point? Is that what he's saying to her? No. He was telling her like while they were walking away, the other guy mentioned something. And they're like okay we're already walking away and he's like guess some people just like to double down to make their point and then she's like well she he could have did it on the stream and then he's like oh you want something for your stream I think I learned my lesson from that one hey check it up the next time you do it this your last warning you did it to me twice bro that me and even like the uh the I guess like behind the I don't know is it behind the fourth wall of these types of situations usually when you're doing anything like out in public like you you see sometimes like a Kimmel doing
Starting point is 00:10:26 interviews outside or or I've done it before for other outlets right uh you have to get people's consent to have them on camera you can't just really pull up on them unless you're like just on some rogue stuff yeah but like you get their consent they sign a form and then you can be on camera so that they know like hey some stuff's about to go down and all of that versus like just pulling it up on people you can you don't you never know what you're going to get at that point yeah and then he tripled or quadruple down i don't know what it counts like 10 toes down is what i know it's scrolling with all me. What's that, bro?
Starting point is 00:10:59 To all the Jessica's out there. Jessica! I feel bad for you. You're going to hate your name because you are considered the new Karen. What? You know how everybody,
Starting point is 00:11:09 you think of a Karen, what's the first thing that pops up in your mind? I love Sadai. She's a beauty influencer. I love her so much. All right. Vic. Her name online is I love Saddai,
Starting point is 00:11:18 but her real name's Karen. I didn't even know that. I didn't know that at all. Stop checking her out. She has a man. That's my besties girl. I think of, A lady with like a bird haircut and like snitching on people.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Okay. Saying that they shouldn't be where they're at just because she feels like it. Typical Karen, right? Yep. Poor birds. Same thing. Right? Same thing.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Yeah, Bob haircut, type of deal with glasses and maybe a coffee. Let me speak to your manager. Some keys in your hand. You don't have to worry about them anymore. You don't have to worry about them anymore. Cairns are gone. They're saying Cairns are too old and now Jessica's are the new Cairns. Because at.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Yes, Jessica's, the Cairns is. like an old people name. Like old old old. No, it's not. Yes, it is. Okay. And you don't think it's old people name? It's like a boomer name. It's like a boomer name. So now that Gen Z is like, all right, our Karen's are the Jessica's. By the way, it's saying, hey, all the Karen's listening. It's Greg saying, not only one, do you have to deal with being called a snitch everywhere, but this was calling you old now. Yeah, you are old. No. An old snitch. And even got to a point where there's a newscaster and his co-workers name is
Starting point is 00:12:22 Jessica, and he started going in on her. Karen is out. A new mom. monster is a millennial named Jessica. Oh, no. Jessica's the new Karen. So Karen's, you're free to go. Jessica was the number one name for girls in America for most of the 80s and the 90s. So we are currently at peak adult Jessica. It's not outward screaming at a manager at Denny's, but quiet, passive shaming.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Think per my last email. She's a live, laugh, love in the streets, but I'm calling the HOA in the sheets. Wow. Yeah. So it's a different type of, you know, complainer, though, is what the guy was saying. This is per my last email. Yeah, it's more like passive, aggressive, as opposed to like aggressive aggressive. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Just like intrusive, aggressive. Yeah, you're trying to be here. Now they're going to like take all the info to Jessica's and they're going to like write a serious email. I don't know. All the Jessica's I know are cool as hell and pretty. Legit. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:16 I don't think they're snitches. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've never had a bad email once from a Jessica. And now the weather. Oh, hell my dog. With concrete storm. What's up, Peritos? It's going down for the weather Friday, November, Friday, January 9th.
Starting point is 00:13:33 First off, we're up to the city of Saugust. It's so cold. I wish we could cast, we can fast forward to August. Yeah. Your high is 56 and 39 tonight. Next, we bunny hop to the city of Casa Conejo. I just heard about the city, and that's just being honesto because... Your high is 60, and you're going to be 43 at night.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Now we smash to the city of Cobina. It's so cold outside. I need me a covija. Your high is 61 and you are 39 tonight. Lastly, we did to the super nice city of Tustin. Keep bumping brown back in the afternoons with our boy Justin. Let's go. It's incredible.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Your high is 64 and later on tonight you'll be 44, Tustin. It's going to be cold. It's been so cold. Yeah, dude, it's been freezing, brother. It's been freezing, brother. And it's been windy. It's a strong wind advisory. Be careful out there, brothers and sisters.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Yes, sir. Saugis, you're going to be 56. You're high and 39 tonight. Casaconejo 60 and 43 tonight. Covina, 61, 39 at night. And Tustin, you'll be 64 and 44 at night. Stay warm, Perritos. Boycocki for Bomback mornings are Power 106.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Let's got. All right, check this out, homie. You need a homeie or need some help. We need your help. We'll need a line. I mean, phone line. We got you for the homie help line. Vanessa needs our help
Starting point is 00:14:56 Really badly All right She hit us up and said Homie Helpline Me and my baby daddy Have been together For nine years Off and on
Starting point is 00:15:05 We have two beautiful kids together And during my last pregnancy I found out he was cheating on me And he had videos Of his abominations On his phone We had a nasty split up The actions
Starting point is 00:15:19 Yeah the actions Like what he was doing Yeah I thought he was calling them abomination I mean They might look like abominations. No bombinations. We had a nasty split up.
Starting point is 00:15:28 After I had our kid, I had a moment of weakness and slept with his cousin. Oh, all right. The secret affair continued for a year. It's good revenge. A year of weakness. A year of weakness of one time. One night, me and my baby daddy slept together. The following week, I found out I was five weeks pregnant.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I'm a million gazillion percent sure this pregnancy is the cousin. I want nothing to do with the cousin, though. He's a deadbeat. What? Should I wait a couple weeks and tell my baby daddy
Starting point is 00:16:06 the baby is his? She said, I love my baby daddy and I want our family back. We've been talking about trying to mend things and I want nothing to do with the cousin, by the way. Please help. The baby's going to look like the cousin No, the baby could look like the family
Starting point is 00:16:24 Yeah That could be a cousin brother Oh goodness Cousin brother That's what it's gonna be right? Yeah Oh my c Cous bro
Starting point is 00:16:35 Oh my god Bro Cah Little lady It's crazy Damn That's like the ultimate revenge To the baby daddy Is it though
Starting point is 00:16:45 I just I don't have any opinions I just have a lot of questions Vanessa is Caliente, that's what we know for sure. So happy Vanessa is on the line. Oh. Oh, Vanessa. Vanessa. Vane or Nessa.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Hi, good morning, brown bag. Good morning. Which one do you like to go by? I'm sorry? Do you like Vane? Do you like Nessa? Do you like Esa? Oh, Nessa.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Nessa. Oh, okay. All right. Talk to us about this whole situation. Talk to us about your initial, like, stuff with baby daddy that ended, that led you to end up in his cousin's bedroom? When I found out that he was cheating, we split up, and it was initially his cousin that was making the move.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Wow. So I wouldn't go, like, searching for it. I know. Oh, okay, so you said in a moment of weakness, essentially you gave in to his cousin hitting on you. Yes. You were down bad. Was he ever hitting on you during your relationship with your ex?
Starting point is 00:17:50 Not dirty, no But after he found out We had split up He started hitting on me When I was still pregnant Damn No, no, no, no Calmate, Vanessa
Starting point is 00:18:00 What's this timeline? This all happened like last year Two years ago It started last year It started last year So you were pregnant With your baby daddy's baby Last year
Starting point is 00:18:12 But y'all had broken up Because he cheated on you Yes And so you're still pregnant After you leave him And then the The cousin starts hitting on you?
Starting point is 00:18:22 Yes, I was already, like, in my third late trimester. Wow. So how did he start hitting on you? Like, I'll take care of it. Or, like, what was he saying? Look at that belly. He would come around and be like, oh, I want to be there for you and your kids. And, you know, just now I'm always here.
Starting point is 00:18:39 And that's how it started. So we didn't start, like, until probably when my baby was already, like, three months. Oh, my gosh. Okay. So he was just supportive when, like, throughout. that and then when your baby was three months, you got all prendida for the Primo. Yeah. Those hormones are crazy.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I had to get my lick back. Oh, you was revenge. A year's worth of licks? Yeah. With the Primo? How many licks till it gets to the, the revenge? And then you were hooking up with him secretly for that time, for that year?
Starting point is 00:19:14 Yes. Okay, so in that time, clearly you had to see baby daddy because you have a child together, co-parenting, all of that. Did you and the cousin ever have a conversation about telling your baby daddy? Did he ever say I got his blessing before I, like, hit you up while you're pregnant with his baby? Or did you guys ever have that combo? No, because he has a fiancé. So this was just a, like, wham-bam-thinking-ma type of thing.
Starting point is 00:19:42 It wasn't. You were doing it for a year. It's not went-bam. Wait. Are you okay? So he has a fiancé? Yes. Wow.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Would she come over and help with the baby? I think so. What's wrong with you? Vanessa. Vanessa, like her people, her people, but this is a different level. He was looking for revenge. So you got the revenge on your baby daddy and unfortunately also on his fiancée. say, right?
Starting point is 00:20:17 What ended up? And then what happened where you got with your baby daddy recently? What happened there? We spent the holidays together and, you know, we're just spending the time together. One thing led to another. So this was actually like the first time we were together since our breakup last year. Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:20:39 And your baby's how old now? She's going to be a year. Okay. Okay, you're, find out you're pregnant, and you know it's the cousin. That's who you're hooking up with. You know it's him. What makes you say he's a deadbeat? Because he doesn't want kids.
Starting point is 00:21:00 That doesn't make him a deadbeat. And he's very like, he wouldn't want anything to do with it. Because I know him. Okay. Well, he's also has, he's about to get married. Yeah, he has a fiance. So he probably has kids with him. Yeah, he's going to be with his, he's going to have kids with this real girl.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I'm sorry, but that doesn't make him a deadbeat. It just makes him a responsible man. He wants to go home. No, he's responsible if he's cheating. He wants to go home. I don't want kids. I get it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:32 And I think a deputy is not being there for your kid, right? And so he wouldn't be there. Yeah, and then he doesn't like to work. So he's always working, not working, working, not working. And you were like, oh, my God, you're so fine. you don't work. You still let him hit. Just, just, just, no, in fact, don't even pull out, dog.
Starting point is 00:21:51 I see a bright future in you. For a year. Leave it in there. So all this, and you still let him smash. For a year. Yes. She was looking for revenge, she said. They're a doubt bad, bro.
Starting point is 00:22:02 Oh, man. She's in a pretty commitment. If you wanted to revenge, Greg was right here. I would have pulled right out. Might have burned a little bit at the end. When he leaves, he gets him. Take these for a week Something for the road
Starting point is 00:22:17 Ladies never do it I mean Greg That would have been a real get back You got a little herpes Stop me The gift that keeps on giving Vanessa Back to Vanessa
Starting point is 00:22:32 Hold on a question By the way we're just kidding Okay we're just kidding I love you Greg At what point Do you like want your family back After the year like what happens I would say
Starting point is 00:22:44 It was probably like a few months ago. It was just kind of when we started like mending things. And he started like showing up a little bit more and being more involved with not only the kids, but like me too. So we were kind of talking within a couple months of like, oh, maybe we can, you know, try again. Okay. When he cheated on you, did he, it was multiple times. Do you feel like he's a changed person, all of that? I think so
Starting point is 00:23:14 that's why we were just thinking about like taking it slow because it was like multiple times that he did and you know it's part of the reason why we're often on and how close are they as cousins their first cousins that's practically his brother okay
Starting point is 00:23:31 how do you think he would react to finding out that you did this it would go very bad Do you have any sort of, hey, me and you had broken up, he had kept flirting with me and this kind of happened. Do you have anything like you feel like, oh, maybe that might help you out? No. No. No, it would be just a very, very bad situation if anyone found out. Okay, because your predicament right now is, do I tell my baby daddy because I want to,
Starting point is 00:24:09 of our family back, do I tell him that it's his? Or would you make up a lie and say like, oh, it's someone random I hooked up with? No, because what about if he looks like him? That's what I'm saying. That's what you're up against. Yeah, yeah, that's where I'm up against. I don't know, like, if I could pass it as his. Can we help you tell him?
Starting point is 00:24:32 Can we call him? No. She doesn't want to tell him. You don't have to tell him. Let us tell him. all that fool right now. She doesn't want to tell him at all. Like he doesn't like, for him.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Her option is for him to think it's his or for her to come up with a story that like, hey, you did this, but it won't make her look as bad as I slept with your cousin. And also, I'm sure you don't, even if you were okay with telling him and dealing with the repercussions because they can, all these loopholes can be put into the, you guys were not together, you didn't hit on the cousin, all that, whatever. He's still in a, in a relationship too. So they weren't broken up and they weren't thinking this. and she didn't do him wrong for him to get with you, you know?
Starting point is 00:25:12 So I'm sure you're looking out for him for some reason. Yes. Have you considered saying it was immaculate conception? No. Okay. And have you spoke to the cousin? Yeah, I did. So he knows and he's just kind of, it's your call.
Starting point is 00:25:36 But he's very like, I don't want to be involved. I want to talk to him. You don't think he'll ever say anything about it? Like, he'll tell his cousin, like, hey, like, what if that kid becomes LeBron? You know? I don't think so, no. I mean, they were really, really close.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Like transitions into a black version? No, like, becomes like a mega star. You know, then we'll leave to claim them. Then we'll be, I don't know. Yeah, like, I don't want nothing to do with like that. But then you had, like, Jordan. Exactly, then, you know. Oh, I would like to be in your life again.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Exactly. Hello, sir. I think you need to tell him. today. Today. That's not her option. Right now, right now,
Starting point is 00:26:15 right. Like, if you, if you let us tell them, Disney passes, I got you. From Kanye. For you and that little shower.
Starting point is 00:26:24 For you and your chair. Yeah. There's three. There's three of them? Three of them. No, it's her, her one that she hired
Starting point is 00:26:29 with her baby daddy. Yeah. And then the one that she's in her tummy right now. You let us tell them right now, I promise you I'll get you Disney passes for you and your children. You're laughing.
Starting point is 00:26:40 You're laughing and it seems like, I don't know if you're playing because you're laughing and this is so serious, Vanessa. That would be a very, very bad situation. Okay, season passes. That's what I said, season passes. Season passes, girl.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Yeah, I'll give you season passes. Look, it could get really sad right now, but tomorrow you'll be in the happiest place on earth. If it were that simple. It is that simple. Give us a number. We'll call him right now. Because if you didn't want him to,
Starting point is 00:27:10 to know, what are you doing calling the radio station, Vanessa? I know, I know where... You know 30 million people listen to us every single day. 100 million, 100 million. 100 million. Over any other station in the world? Yes. Because I need help.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I don't know. That is help you. I'm giving you an out. Does he listen to us? Does he from around here? Yes, L.A. Vanessa, what are you doing when you're like? He's going to know.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Okay, look. If, listen, whoever you are, my G, you know who you are. You're driving right now. You can't believe what you're hearing. Are you questioning, is this, is this really my, Vanessa?
Starting point is 00:27:51 It is, perro. Call right now, 81852059. Dog, we're going to walk you through this, Perro. It's going to be okay. Vanessa feels shame. She's flowing with guilt.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Do you think that they could be cool? Do you think that they could be cool if they find out? Or is your cousin literally down to pretending your man's face that this kid is not his? He would probably be down to pretend. He sounds like he's down. Yeah, he sounds like he's down. Because he was hitting on her pregnant. He's like, ah, what lastima, that's my sobrino and no my uncle.
Starting point is 00:28:31 And just side question. How did you meet your man? We went to school together. Was a cousin there? No. Okay. Did you always find the cousin attractive even before that? No.
Starting point is 00:28:44 So you really did it for revenge. No, you really did it for revenge. Yeah. I guess so. It was a hard time. Well, he was a hard. He was there in my time. It was a hard year.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Hey, Vanessa. All right. Oh, man. All right. Vanessa, I'm going to take calls. I'm going to just leave with this. Probably not going to be things you want to hear. You ready?
Starting point is 00:29:08 Okay. All right. I don't know like you're laughing. Vanessa, I'm not understanding. It's a nervous laughing. I get like nervous. This is real life. This is like a baby involved.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Eskimo brothers. Eskimo cousins. Cousins, yeah. You're currently about what? Like probably six weeks pregnant? Right now, I'm about to be seven weeks. About to be seven weeks. Are you already taking pictures and putting on on Instagram?
Starting point is 00:29:32 Like, oh, look at my belly. No. Oh, it's a secret. Are you down to have the baby alone? not what your baby daddy and not what your cousin Yes I would But it's just too
Starting point is 00:29:44 Like I said I do want to like mend my family Yes Are you gonna have the baby here at the Sweet James Studios And Round back to James Studios Live birth
Starting point is 00:29:54 Live birth, let's go Live on there Live on there Is there any chance It could be anybody else's Besides the Primo? No No, just Primo
Starting point is 00:30:05 She's loyal to that family She's low to that family Oh, my God. Let's help out Vanessa. Vanessa has a predicament on her hands, like we've all been saying. She had a baby daddy, and they were together for nine years off and on. They have two kids together. Oh, there's another kid.
Starting point is 00:30:22 So three and two. Yeah, there's three and told, one inside her, and then two were her baby daddy. And he was constantly, you got a nasty split up. You guys said you found him cheating on you. and with even videos of the abominations on his phone. Before we go to calls, what the heck does abominations on his phone mean? You saw the girls or you saw, I don't know. I saw everything.
Starting point is 00:30:46 Him doing actions? Yeah, it was pretty bad. Was he going harder for them than you? I didn't want to look too long. Oh, else you felt tingly? Yeah. All right. Imagine having that picture and you want revenge.
Starting point is 00:31:05 You're going to, that's what letter to her cousin's not saying it's right, but that's where her mental state was. Plus, you were pregnant when you found all of this out. The cousin was there and then he, after three months, you had the baby after three months, you ended up hooking up. Horrible. Yeah. He also has a fiance of his own and y'all have been keeping it in the tuck for the whole,
Starting point is 00:31:25 this past year. You recently, during the holidays, your baby daddy and you, you link up, you're seeing him get it back together. Him under the guy's like, damn, I lost a good girl. my baby mama, I shouldn't have done those things with those abominations on my phone. I want to be a better man. Unknowing to him, you've been sleeping with his cousin to get back, get it back in blood, for real. Great revenge.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Okay? Now you're pregnant in five weeks. You know it's the cousins, but you don't want anything to do with him. He don't want anything to do with it either. He's mentioned that to you. You're deciding whether you should tell a baby daddy it's his because low-key they might look alike. Hey, do him and his cousin look like? They do.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Oh, congratulations. Played yourself. Joey and San Marino are going to calls. Joey, what's up, Brown Bay, happy Friday. Happy Friday.
Starting point is 00:32:12 It's a hell of a Friday, bro. Joey, talk to us. You all doing the Lord's work every business day out there. Hey, by the way, what do you do for work, speaking of work, that you live in San Marino?
Starting point is 00:32:27 Two financial. Oh, okay. Drug dealing, got it. I'm a financial analyst I'm a financial analyst What's that phrase? You hit the bullseine There you go
Starting point is 00:32:41 Satty-go Let's go Let's get a sack I'm tired I'm retired at 16 Wow Hey be for all I need that masterclass All right talk to us
Starting point is 00:32:57 What would you tell This girl Vanessa Oh Vanessa NASA Listen, girl, you get out a piece of paper. You write your little secret on that piece of paper. You crumble a little up real tight, and you just bury it somewhere deep and never look in that direction again, girl. Let's be honest.
Starting point is 00:33:17 You chose your path. Stay toxic, girl. Just stay toxic. You know what I'm saying? But I do, I do really want to think about something. Sorry, sorry. Okay. Sorry, that was a total technical error.
Starting point is 00:33:36 What? Go ahead. I'm with you. Stay toxic. No, I just, I do want her to consider something. She said that she's okay, raising it by herself. Let's be honest. It's probably going to end up that way.
Starting point is 00:33:49 You might as well take the Disneyland. She's been past his girl. Let's go. That's what I said. That's what I said. For what in our life, let's play three steps ahead. Four, five. And that's how you live in San Marino.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Big up, bro. Wow. Oh, mess. I'm messing. Yeah. Take the passes. I get it. Like, this is going to happen anyway.
Starting point is 00:34:14 I know you're trying to delay it, but it's going to happen. They're going to find out. They're both going to hate you. Might as well let us tell them so that you can also walk away with some passes to the happiest place on earth. Yes. You're going to end up a single mom anyways. Get that chew wrong. She did.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Get that. That corn dog. Get that. Get the pickle, too. Those are good. All right. Let's go to Monica in Garden Grove. Monica.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Monica. What's up, Monica? Monica, talk to us. What would you tell Vanessa that's going through it? She is currently seven weeks pregnant, she said, from her ex-slash-baby-daddy's cousin. She slept with him to get revenge and in a moment of weakness because he kept titting on her because her baby daddy, was cheating on her she found videos on his phone of the mishaps and all of that left him while she was late in her other pregnancy gets with a cousin after her kid is three months old he had been there
Starting point is 00:35:15 for her kind of was probably like dirty mecking like he don't even deserve you girl i would have treated you so much better uh kick is though he has a fiancee and will not be with her either uh so she's wondering should i just wait a couple weeks and tell my baby daddy this is his kid or should i make up like another lie like hey like i was at the club met him at the club said what's up and then things happen what should what should she do brownback where is laura when you need her to say get psa la desgasia da part she comes clean and she needs
Starting point is 00:35:47 the heat is defeated I think everyone hearing this is screaming girl no I'm pretty sure she kinda wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait just pause everything you said for a little while wait Chill. Wait a minute. Monica.
Starting point is 00:36:04 Rewind it. Rewind the tape. What did you say? The thing that rhymed with fetus. Yetus, the fetus. What? Yidas a fetus. Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Eat the fetus. Eat the baby. So, like, don't have it. Like a. Oh, Deletus, the fetus. Like, yeet. You know what yee is? Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Yes. It's like a term. It's like, it's like, you. Yeah, see, I heard deleteus. Like delete the fetus. baby. Same thing. Oh my God. Like, he just like, out of here, like out.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Like a little, like a little scoop, sco. Okay. What if that's against her religion or she doesn't believe in that or she doesn't want to do that? Well, well, in the end, the truth always comes out. In a drunk night, they are close brothers, right? Close cousins. You never know one day that could happen. And what is she going to do then?
Starting point is 00:36:56 You know, so it's like either way, they're going to find out the situation is going to end bad. And she needs to take those living lands season passes. Yes, that's a lot. Let's go. Girl, women and men feel, we got to take responsibility. Keep toxic that, you know, in the end, it's not going to end up well. Like you said, they're going to look alike. The baby's definitely going to look like one or the other.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Then things are going to get suspicious. The light, the truth always comes to the light, Vanessa. Yep. Wow. So I might as well get those Disneyland passes. Those season passes, let's go. Okay, Monica. Thank you for calling.
Starting point is 00:37:34 Thank you guys. Good night, bye. Good night. Good night. Oh, you didn't get what I meant. I meant get rid of it. Yeah. Oh, you didn't understand me?
Starting point is 00:37:45 Oh, I meant. Send it back to God. That's what I meant. Lady. Oh, you didn't get the Yidas, the Fetus. Like, I'll come with another rhyme. Hey, the way she said it so casually caught me off guard. Aye, aye, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:57 So she thinks that the cousin is going to make a drunk confession to the baby daddy one day. Eventually, eventually for. It will. It's going to play some adventure, Don Omar, and Romeo, like, Salih with your muher. She thinks that's going to happen? I don't think so. It is.
Starting point is 00:38:13 It's going to come to the life. That's a secret you take to your grave. It's like when you, like, there's kids out there that find out that their parents aren't really their parents when they're older. That's what I'm saying. Like, it comes down to that. The thing is that the kids are, that the kids probably going to look like, you know. Like his siblings. That's not suspicious.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Or just, like, not for nothing. Vanessa, you're a home girl. You're very vengeful. Yeah. Who's to say it's going to be the cousin? He wants to keep his fiance happy too, aka his and be his wife. He's probably going to be Vanessa one day.
Starting point is 00:38:43 Oh, like she comes. You know what? I have a confession. I'll ruin this whole family. Yes. Let her and the baby not work out because of this. Like, even with this, he could no annoy, but him cheat on her again or something not work out.
Starting point is 00:38:55 As she leaves, forget putting, like lighting his place on fire. Oh, really? I'm going to tell you one thing. I don't know. Davito's not yours. It's your cousin. Oh, not. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:05 And go tell that to his wife. You know, who's to say, Vanessa, who's to say you're not going to seek revenge that way? Vanessa. Vanessa. All right, Vanessa, yeah. Vanessa.
Starting point is 00:39:21 See? See? Yeah. What is it? Is she already had to? No, no. That wasn't the option that she said. She didn't say that option.
Starting point is 00:39:31 What was she doing? What's your son right now? She already has two kids. She's dragging. Vanessa, do you hear me? What? What's the fault of the baby? Vanessa.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Monica was out of control with that comment. Monica was insane. My jaw dropped. Yeah. She did it in a rhyme. That's a blessing, phone. And not just the rhyme, it's a meme. Get like a Corvette.
Starting point is 00:39:48 I know. I pictured, when she said it, when it registered, I pictured her, like, tossing the baby. Yeah. No, Vanessa, not. No, okay. Yeah. Let's ask you mama.
Starting point is 00:39:58 Not my mom. Mama Mia. Mama Mia in Riverside. What's our Mama Mia? Buenos still My brown bag Let's go Mama Mia
Starting point is 00:40:09 Do you hear what's going on this radio station Yes I do And I think she is totally wrong If she was going to get her leg back She was supposed to protect herself In the process Or go get the morning after peal
Starting point is 00:40:20 Oh no Her having that baby And thinking Oh I want my family back If you knew you possibly Still had feelings for your baby daddy You should have got your lick back You could have wouldn't mess with his best friend, but a cousin, that's out of line.
Starting point is 00:40:36 That's crossing the line. Like, she's super toxic. Mental health is real. So every time this man look at this baby, he's going to have to wonder, will she go back and mess with my cousin again? Like, you, men, mental health is so real, and I watch a lot of crying TV. Men, people don't tap in and ask these men how they're doing. But she think because she caught him cheating that you're supposed to just, oh, I'm going to get my lick. back. You can get your lick back, but do it quietly.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Why are you having this baby? She might get them Disneyland tickets, but she's going to be at the happiest place on earth, but she's going to be feeling bad as H.E. double toothpicks because she raising them three kids by herself. She, that's damaging. And then the other young lady that's involved, the fiance, why would you want to do that to her? She didn't do nothing to you. Yeah. True. And then she said the cousin didn't even want kids, but you laid down with him. She's the red flag walking. And I'm going to want him to show up the club. of anything.
Starting point is 00:41:33 But like Vanessa, baby girl, you did, that's wrong. Like, and then you sitting there Kiki and laughing about, oh, I'm seven weeks pregnant. So you made up your mind to have this baby and think this young man's supposed to sit there and just deal with that. Like they said, that drunk night when them cousins is chopping it up, somebody's going to slip up and say something or she's going to be sitting back watching him be happy with the other girl. And she's going to say something. She's the toxic part and the sad part about it. She need to take a step back and learn a love on herself. See, sometimes we get in these relationships,
Starting point is 00:42:06 and if we ain't never seen a positive relationship, we don't know how I have one. So when you're going through life, don't mess up somebody else's mental health because you ain't all the way together. Like, that's not right. That's a young man. She's going to damage that he could have been good for somebody else.
Starting point is 00:42:22 That's wrong. That's all wrong. Let that man take care of his kids, admit your fault, and move forward. If you want to have that baby, you have that baby, but don't make that other young. young man feel like he got to help you take care of a deadbeat baby you cheated you cheated you a woman is never supposed to do what he did no we we're we're we're like cats we're women you
Starting point is 00:42:43 you can't you can't do what they do even if you do you can't put it out there like that like and then he live in l.A she right there on the radio you're embarrassing that man that's wrong that's wrong Vanessa it's wrong baby girl and you need to read you need to do some self-inventory and yourself about what you did because if you did this this time, you're going to slip up and do something else and what you're doing is self sabotaging. Momah Mia.
Starting point is 00:43:09 Not one stutter. Come on somebody. Mama Mia. Yes, ma'am. So what do you think she should do? I think if she has made the decision to have that baby, she need to let that man know so he can be an active
Starting point is 00:43:30 father in his kids' life and she got to deal with her toxicity. But the cold part about it is I'm worried about the fiance. Yep. Because the thing is, he's a bum and he's toxic. And then she's going to go help him be toxic. We're women. You're supposed to be a woman first.
Starting point is 00:43:46 She could have got that lick back and went and messed with a best friend. That's how you tuck your tail. That's what you do. And you protect yourself so you can take that lie to your grave. You never, so if you're going to tell on yourself, you ain't never supposed to do it. Never. That ain't getting your lick back by walking around pregnant by his. cousin, what you're going to do is make the grandmama, the cousins, the aunties, they're going
Starting point is 00:44:07 not like you, baby, girl. Why are you paying me in and you're damaging these young men? That's wrong. The dead be cousin said he didn't even want no kids. Why did you sleep with him unprotected, knowing what is he messed around with a man? You could wind up with age. You didn't think about none of that. All right.
Starting point is 00:44:24 Mama, you are what the world needs right now. You think of everything. Come on, man. So, like you said. I appreciate y'all listening. I appreciate the brown back mornings. Liz, me and you, we don't talk before. I love it.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Keep doing what y'all doing, man. You got it. Thank you, Mom, miss. She says my name's Liz, my name's Liz. All right, hey, Mama Mia, me a real quick question. You mentioned telling her baby daddy, it's not his, it's his cousin so that she could deal with it. How about the fiancé and the cousin?
Starting point is 00:44:53 Because the cousin also has to deal with it, too. And I think there's part of her that's protecting him. That fiancé needs to know and that the baby daddy need to know because don't damage those two people when they can this may mess them up for their next relationship. Let them people go. Don't add that extra stuff to them and mess them up mentally and have them questioning anything else
Starting point is 00:45:13 that could be good for them. Don't let that woman marry the cousin. No, that man that girl shouldn't marry that boy. She show shouldn't because just as sure as my name is Mia and he messed with his cousin baby mama. That's just some snake and a grass type.
Starting point is 00:45:29 He's not to be trusted. Him and her not to be trusted. 100% Thank you so much What did we learn from Mama Mia? If you're going to seek revenge Do it with the best friend Not the cousin, right, Paula Mia?
Starting point is 00:45:42 Guess what? If you're going to see revenge Make sure you take your revenge to your grade. You don't get on no radio You don't tell on yourself You don't tell nothing in nobody You take that to your grave She got a friend or somebody
Starting point is 00:45:53 She doesn't told that to And they made her think that was cute And that's why she's on here laughing about it She's going to tell her she better learn how to pick her poison. Mm-hmm. There we go.
Starting point is 00:46:03 Mama Mia. Hey, we need to get Mama Mia's phone number so that we could just call her and get all the right answers. For sure. The best advice. That was amazing. Nothing else to say. What's up?
Starting point is 00:46:13 This is Be Real from Cypress Hill. Where are you from, Esse? Don't you know I'm local? All right. Fair with me, y'all, because we're about to have a pretty tough combo. I know that usually it's really all fun and giggles in here. But serious things are happening outside, and I think it's really important for us. to have this moment with each other
Starting point is 00:46:32 because bro honestly it should be us having this combo you know a couple days ago we saw all on our phones videos of the passing away of a woman named Renee Nicole Good over in Minneapolis
Starting point is 00:46:44 at the hands of ice that happened two days ago did you know yesterday there was another shooting of a man and a woman from ice as well so much was that so much the details are still coming in on these and this is where it gets a little bit
Starting point is 00:47:00 murky is because we don't have too much to say, but I cannot but see the pattern here. New Year's Eve. Also out here in Los Angeles, which we should have learned sooner. There is a man in Northridge by the name of Keith Porter. And from what I have read, still gathering information, Keith Porter was apparently celebrating the new year. And I believe shot up in the air. An off-duty ice agent took that as an attack. there was a murder that ensued because of that.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Okay? That's being investigated. Yeah. This is a pattern you can't help but notice and you can't help but look at. Do we want to? No. Do we wish it was easier or we could just write it off? Like I was like, oh, okay, maybe an accident.
Starting point is 00:47:49 Probably. But these things are real things. That's why I would not only just appreciate the activists that are out here talking about it, the people that have dedicated, whether it be social media pages or, their lives period to protesting and holding people accountable and all of that and really looking into the facts because we're emotional beings and we can't look at videos like Renee's and not be emotional. I appreciate that but I also understand that it's our responsibility too to be able to give the platform to people that are here that can speak on it. Yes. So it was really, really
Starting point is 00:48:26 and a really big honor to be able to have assembly member Isaac Brian in here. He reps the 55th district out here in Los Angeles. That's South Central surrounding areas. And he has an amazing story. He was an adopted child. I believe he said it's him. He has 12 siblings. Yeah, 12 more.
Starting point is 00:48:43 Definitely saw what was going on in his life and throughout his whole family and said, you know what, I'm going to be the change that I wish to see in the world, you know, the thing that they tell us, but a few of us do. And we got a chance to speak to him about an important piece of life. legislation that regardless of the stuff that we've been seeing that he and his colleagues passed this this start of the year I'll let him speak more about it check this out first day I got back I introduced to bill AB 1537 to keep local law enforcement from taking a second job with ice no double dipping no you can't protect and serve our communities
Starting point is 00:49:20 and terrorize them at the same time and that was before this popped off this week and I want to you know, give my condolences to Keith Porter's family. He's the brother who was shot on New Year's Eve that folks really weren't talking about until Renee Good was murdered in Minneapolis. But we have to talk about all the violence coming out of ICE. We have to talk about all the people who have been impacted, kidnapped, displaced because of the violence of this administration. And we've got to push back and stand up. Yeah. And with this specific bill, how do you bridge the gap between you still having a relationship with law enforcement where they feel that you still have their back, even though you're kind of implementing something that's going to take them away from, say, getting a second job or trying to make a little extra income.
Starting point is 00:50:01 I'm going to be honest. I don't care if they feel like I have their back. I care whether we feel like they have our back. Right. And the relationship between law enforcement and the community has been fractured many times over, not at the fault of community. And in this instance, if you have signed up to protect and serve Los Angeles or San Francisco or San Diego or anywhere in California, but you want to moonlight with ice, right? you want to move like these goons are moving in Minneapolis, in Portland and around the country, those two things are in direct conflict with one another.
Starting point is 00:50:32 The position of each other. Yeah. And so I'm, you know, I'm less interested in them feeling like they have, that I have their back, and more interested in the community feeling like they're there to help us. And I think that's the gap I'm trying to work on, increasing in calibrillability, increased transparency. We passed a bill last year. There's this thing that happens.
Starting point is 00:50:53 It's called a clean record. It's when the dirty officers have misconduct. Then the chief tries to push them out of the department. And they agree to leave, but they sign a secret non-disclosure agreement that hides all of their misconduct. They can go work at another department. Right? I think I've seen that before.
Starting point is 00:51:09 And it trips me out. Like, even I guess you can move states and still be like a police officer, but something you did really got you let go really bad. It's hard to get fired from the police. But we passed a bill last year to end those clean record agreements. No more secret police deals that hydrant misconduct. Those are the kinds of things that I'm interested in working on. We need accountability.
Starting point is 00:51:30 We need to know that we're safe and protected. We also need to know that if our tax dollars are going disproportionately to the LAPD or to the Sheriff's Department, that they're going to step up when ICE comes out and draws weapons on legal observers. And you know what? Assembly member, Isaac, Brian, it doesn't get lost on me that you're a black man and you are passing. and the one that's saying, hey, let's do this to help a community that is majority Latino when it comes to these ICE enforcement, you know, I really want to make note of that because often it's either a black person problem or a Mexican person problem, quote unquote, or something's happening to one of our ethnicities and the other ethnicities turning away. Like, at least they're not coming after me. You didn't say that. You were like, look, this is wrong. Wrong is wrong. And what's happening to my neighbor, because, More than likely we are neighbors in these cities that we're all together, it's deserving of some type of action. You know, I was just kind of trained up as a young in that you fight for black, brown, poor, and indigenous communities.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Come on. That's just what we do. And so that kind of solidarity power building, that was the heart of my organizing days. And it's kind of the root of the legislation I move now. I think we're stronger together. I think if you've ever come up in the struggle in this country in any kind of way, you have more in common with. with somebody else who's coming up in that same struggle than you do with somebody who's never seen it.
Starting point is 00:52:54 And it doesn't matter what color we are, whether English is my first language or not, and especially if you're in Los Angeles or you're in Southern California. We know each other. We all water two X tall pro clubs. You know what I mean? We all watch the Lakers.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Yeah. I mean, we all got the Kobe poster still up on the wall. To this day. You know what I mean? We know who we are and we're stronger when we move together. And so I try to build that power
Starting point is 00:53:19 and move authentically through that. And you are exactly the person that we need to have in these positions. And I just thank you from the bottom of my heart because we talk about it, but you're really doing something about it. So thank you so much, assembly member, Isaac. Were you all hosting this conversation as equally as powerful? So thank you and thank you for having me. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Come on. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you so much for listening. I know it's tough convos. I know we don't. It can get a little bit anxious driven, but I care. I care about you listening.
Starting point is 00:53:48 I care about our dads, our uncles, our brothers. I care about our children that I have to grow up seeing this. And I really, really, really hope that we can figure it out, man. I really hope that we can figure it out. All right. It is Friday. Yes. It is Friday.
Starting point is 00:54:02 And we bought, oh, it's a celebration today. It is. It is. It is a celebration today. Don't it is me. What are you talking about? This is like, oh, yeah, my birthday's in 10 days. And then on their birthday, oh, my God, what?
Starting point is 00:54:13 You guys brought up cake for me. I don't do that. Eman has been. Been at Power 106 for 31 years. Oh, my God. But you're only 36. Yeah. I started very young.
Starting point is 00:54:30 Yeah. It was on Power 106 when it was Power 105.9. That's how far back. He was there before we rounded up. How does it feel? 31 years in the game. Big Doc. It feels like, honestly, feels like my first year.
Starting point is 00:54:42 That's how I always approach every year. Oh, you're so cute. Wow. Favorite thing about being at Power 106? Thanks. Blessed and just to be working with so many great people like you, seriously. Do the thing how you love popping people's cherry. What?
Starting point is 00:54:57 You like being people's first. I do. I do. I said it before. I like being in a position giving people the opportunity their first time. Yeah. The first of something. Hey.
Starting point is 00:55:07 What are we talking about? No, like he gives when people first try on the radio. Being a DJ. Being on-air personality. Even an artist here in the song for the first time ever on the radio. That's why you see people have so much love and reverence for Eman because he helps and he does all of that. It says you always remember your first time. Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:27 So you want your first time to be with DJ Eman. I'm talking to DJs, honor personalities, rappers, singers, hit him up. What's your Instagram? At DJ E man. At DJ E man. Tell him, pop my chair, DJ, you men. That's a nice couch back there, E. Let's just get it.
Starting point is 00:55:43 Friday. Friday. Friday. Congratulations. There's a really old song. I don't know what it was like, but it goes, What people do for money? I'm saying you're wrong.
Starting point is 00:56:04 If you know that song, literally I can't find it for the life of me. Please share it with me. But I say that because if you're down and do some pretty strange things for some change, there is an offer for you, okay? Reportedly allegedly, there's a 79-year-old British multi-millionaire. This guy has nothing but bank and dough, okay? He's up, okay? He is requesting and seeking a young woman to have a son to inherit his fortune and continue his lineage.
Starting point is 00:56:36 All right. His name is Sir Benjamin Slade, and he's looking for somebody. Sister. Yeah, that's what I say. Abby, listen up. Sir Benjamin didn't slay enough during his life. You can set the family up right. There are requirements.
Starting point is 00:56:50 Reportedly allegedly. He advertised in newspapers, joined Tinder, and tried reality TV, but he has strict requirements for the lucky lady. Must be a good breeder. What? Breeder. At least 20 years younger. Okay, so 20 years younger than 70.
Starting point is 00:57:08 70? 70s something? Yeah, yeah. That's crazy. No Scottish woman. He has something against Scottish people. Oh, wow. I'll do anything but a Scottish.
Starting point is 00:57:17 I do not want that in my lineage. Okay Must be able to have sons Oh my gosh This upsets me He wants two An air and a spare Oh my goodness
Starting point is 00:57:28 Should something happen to the air He wants a spare to take over An air and a spare Yes yes That's crazy I never heard that Guys I hope you know It's not up to the girl
Starting point is 00:57:36 Whether we have the boy The girl It's in your little genetics Okay It's in your little swimmers Either your swimmer has X chromosome or a Y chromosome We only have X's
Starting point is 00:57:45 So yes Your Y would make it a boy Your X would make it another girl. I heard there's like different positions that like... No, but it's up to the dude. It's not a girl thing. Yeah, it's up to Benjamin Slade.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Oh, okay. It's about his guys. I wish he put a PSA out there like himself. Like, I know he wrote it or whatever. No, there's more. Hold on. Hold on. There's more.
Starting point is 00:58:04 No communists or lesbians, he says. All right. That's whack. Don't go to Portland. No drug users or heavy drinkers. No Scorpios. Dude, my sister. It's real.
Starting point is 00:58:19 needs a shotgun and driving license, okay? If you have a helicopter license, it's a bonus. I'll put it my sister up there, bro. Helicopter license? Ideally, you're over 5'5 foot 6. Oh, my God. No women from countries beginning with I or with green in their flag. Ireland?
Starting point is 00:58:38 He hates Scots in Ireland. So Mexicans are out. But the Saudis are in. Oh, no, wait, wait. There's no green in our flag. There's no green in your, and in the... The logo? The leaves? It's brown. No, you guys are...
Starting point is 00:58:52 It's... No. You guys are missing the most important part, over 5, 6. You're dumb. Sorry, never mind. Salves are out to. Yeah, there's green with the flag. And Guatemalians? Argentines.
Starting point is 00:59:04 Argentine? Isn't that the blue one? Yeah. I think they have a little bit of green, no? No. No. Blue, white and yellow. It's just blue and they're tall. They're former Europeans, most of them.
Starting point is 00:59:12 So he's racist as well. Okay, got it. Yes. But if you fit any of these requirements and you're down to get down with a 79-year-old multi-billioner? No, no, he has some gall. I just looked up his net worth only 5.53 million. Oh.
Starting point is 00:59:25 Okay, he's not that rich, yes. But he's not like billionaire status. He has a castle. I know, I know. He can be that picky and only have five dollars. That's what I'm, that's exactly my point. Y'all are picking, you don't have $20. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:59:38 I know, but I didn't put all those requirements. That's a key. Yes, you are. Yes, you guys do. Internally, I didn't put them out there for the world. What would be your requirements? My girl, she's over five, six, Yeah, she's five six.
Starting point is 00:59:50 She's Irish. Her name is. Jordan is, that's his requirement. Everything that he said the opposite, I think. Mine? Yeah, what would be your requirement if you were a billionaire? Oh, she has. No, right now.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Right now. Oh, she has to look like either Sabrina Carpenter or Becky G. Boom, that's it. That's my requirements. That's it. That's it. That's what they, or Megan Fox. And what about the guys?
Starting point is 01:00:09 No. That was money moves brought to you by your Toyota dealers. I'm letting you. Brownback morning because I'm Parra 1-6. You guys are little butts. By the way, just want to throw this out there.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Shout out to whoever from Telemundo or Monivision listens to us because Jesus, the trainer that came through. Yeah. And that, like, did, like, the whole saw how fat we were and all of that.
Starting point is 01:00:35 But Concrete just had a great time calling him, like, Mexican can, doll. He always was breakfast. Yeah, Prince Charming, all of that. Right? Do you remember how he looks?
Starting point is 01:00:44 Yeah. How's he looked? I can never forget it. He said he got hit up by one of them. For like an interview. What if he does end up on a novella? He should.
Starting point is 01:00:54 He belongs. I want to be his love interest in a moment. Kempete. Kempeteen let his hair down? Like this, get off me. For a favor, no me betesse. All right. Let's talk some chiseme.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Let's talk some chisement. This is comedy chisement. Oh. Did you know that? Comedy? Wow. Yes. The club Shayshay is back, Shannon Sharp.
Starting point is 01:01:18 Yes. He was doing an interview with Mike Epps. Originally, Mike Epps didn't want to interview with Shannon Sharp. He notably went against Shannon Sharp because of the very infamous Cat Williams interview that Shannon Sharp had. And how Cat was just airing it out. People could say he was looking crazy, right? And at that time, Mike Epps is like, he's interviewing too many comics and too many black men and making them look crazy for clickbait. I won't go on that show.
Starting point is 01:01:48 Interview some white people. interview you're an athlete you know a lot of them pro professional ballers and you know the issues they got why don't you air them out why are you too busy airing us out so he was kind of on that but he did end up at the interview and they matter of fact got into it i need you to let's check this out you had me on swore i'll go whip you okay well hey you know what hey you ain't got your boys here now you get your ass toe up what's up said we ain't enough right here between us you know what i ain't gonna be i ain't gonna be no person but you know what you know i know you know you a football player but you know you know i know you a football player but but I ain't turning down no phase, though. Wow. Yeah, like, they led with that. And, you know, it even went to conversation about when Kat was being interviewed by Shannon, because Shannon's like, Cat didn't even bring you up. He's like, he didn't.
Starting point is 01:02:31 But I saw how you try to toss my name up there to see what he would do with it. Because you, like, talk, well, what about Mike S or something of that nature? And just Kat didn't have anything wrong to say. But I guess Mike didn't like that you were trying. Don't put me in their mix. At all. Come on, right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:47 Apparently, though, they squashed it. They were able to have a good sit-down interview. And then Epps was telling him all the other people he has beef with. All right. The Chris's are not safe in comedy. Mike Epps does not like Chris Rock. What? He don't like Chris Rock for a purported allegedly throwing dirt on another comedian's name
Starting point is 01:03:04 that could have cost him his career. He also talks about the Will Smith slap of Chris Rock and how he does not condone it, but he understands why it happened. Check this out. Oh, you condone in that behavior? You can don't it, but I can see. out of Poppe him Upside his head
Starting point is 01:03:21 Because he said some shit to me one time Yeah, that motherfucker walked up to me and said You can't act rich if you ain't rich I said, huh, what the hell? At the time I wasn't rich I understood what he said, but I'm like But you just don't say that he said that Yeah, because what he didn't understand
Starting point is 01:03:39 is I came from a drug dealer world So I always like little Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you sparkle. That's the drug dealer in a He's thinking I'm up there trying to make the people think I got show business money. Yeah. And said that shit to me. I said, man, I'm rich in a whole lot of ways.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Damn. Farritt looking. I know how I feel about being rich. So he's bad for saying. He didn't like that. The truth. Yeah. He wasn't rich.
Starting point is 01:04:04 Like, he was like, oh, like, he called him rich. I was like, I wasn't rich. I guess inserting yourself and giving like that type of. This is the same way we would feel by something like, not taugues el Mui or not, not you think. And it's like, it's Chris Rock Sundo. Basically. He just sundum. He's like, oh, you know what? Don't act rich. You're not. You know, because
Starting point is 01:04:20 he knows probably the acting, like the scale that he gets paid and he knows he's like, bro, I'm rich. But some people are just flashy to be flashy. This was not flashy because he's rich right now, Vic. If we were to pop like, like, hey, Vic, don't dress like that if that's really your life. Yeah. Like, you see, she's sparkled. He's all bedazzled from his hat to his jacket. Yeah. I'm a star. How could I not shine? See, that part. That's how that's how Epps felt. Like, I don't care if I'm poor or if I'm rich. I'm going to be like this. Yeah. Yeah. That's his issue. That's his pedo. And apparently other people have the same one with Chris Rock.
Starting point is 01:04:50 But that's not just that Chris. And you don't have to be rich to present yourself in any. Yeah. Like you dress up for how you want to be. Yeah, that's fine. Revere. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:00 So moving on to another Chris. Chris Tucker. All right. These are two men that are key in our lives for the Friday franchise, right? We love Smoky and we love Day Day Day. But according to Mike Epps, if it was up to Smokey, if it was up to Chris Tucker, there would have never been a dayday. Check this out.
Starting point is 01:05:19 And to this day, I think Chris Tucker is mad at me because I did the next Friday. To this day, I said, that was my first. He didn't, okay, the reports are that he didn't want to do cursing and he didn't want to be smoking weed. Well, I heard that, I heard through the grapevine and he said they should have left it alone,
Starting point is 01:05:36 that they f***ed up by keep doing it. He did such a great job. He did. I can see him saying that. But my mama needed to wash this drug. I get where you're coming from, but I need to eat. Yeah, but to say I think he's mad at me and I heard it through the grapevine, it's crazy.
Starting point is 01:05:53 Because even if he didn't hear it from the source, I think it's pointless to even talk about it. Because what about if somebody was just trying to gaslight him? Yeah, we're trying to pit him against each other. I also think that when people say things publicly, because I believe Chris Tucker's mentioned these things probably, they've been reported. I believe we've reported on things like that,
Starting point is 01:06:08 that why he didn't come on the next one and things that he would have said. If you were in that next one, you would feel slighted. Like if I would be like, dude, why are they even making that next one and you're in it and you're one of the stars? I'm like, bro, is that against me or not? For sure. And there's probably convos that do happen. And then also, why haven't they met? Why don't they talk?
Starting point is 01:06:26 Yeah. Like, you know, unless you feel slighted or something like that. I do appreciate Dayday. Yeah, it's hilarious. I appreciate my guests. Yeah, it was hilarious. I appreciate Smokie. I appreciate Chris Tucker.
Starting point is 01:06:35 Chris Tucker did notably bow out of the Friday franchises and said, you know what? I don't believe in any of that stuff that we're promoting. so I don't want out. That's why I want out. But it seems like, I don't know, maybe then you saw that they were doing great, and you're like, damn. Damn, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:53 I wasn't the star that. You are the star, but maybe you thought it was like dependent on you. On you, you know? Because he was such a standout. He was. For sure. Moved on did a bunch of great stuff.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Chris Tucker is a household name at this point. Mike Epps, he's just really calling out names. He is. If he didn't have a problem already, he has a problem. Damn, Day Day Day. Super Cheez-Men. All right.
Starting point is 01:07:12 Movina, and that was your achievement brought to you by your Toyota dealers. I'm Letty filling in for Baby Girl. And she will be back on Monday right here on Power 106 in Brown Bag mornings. And before we go to commercials, we got a big up to our guy, Fettywop. Fettywap is free. Fettie Wap is free 11 months before he was set to be free. You know, he was in for, I believe, some type of drug trafficking charges. Yeah, something like that.
Starting point is 01:07:38 In for. And now he's back in our lives. Yeah, baby. You saw him yesterday post about how he's out. He's being received with a lot of embrace. People are so excited to have him back. And he had a run when he came out into the rap scene. I'm wondering if that's going to be in his cards.
Starting point is 01:07:59 10 years later. 10 years later, that's like people miss them now. That's the thing. Sometimes you need people to miss you. Because it was everywhere for a year and a half. We had Trap Queen, bro. That's where it started. Trapp Queen is the record.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Everybody's head turn when we heard Trapp Queen. Then he had songs like 6, 7, 7.9. Biggs is so damn fine, though. Highway is a fan. Yes, bro. Woo. Thank you. He's called him a span of a summer that he dropped these hits.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Bangers. I want to go to Fettie Wop concert. Oh, you just... Right now. I want to go right now. Whatever the home welcoming concert is. Yeah. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:08:37 So we go to Fettiwap, man. Make better choices of bro, but we're glad to see you out. Keep it here. It's Power 106. Brownback Morning.
