Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, everybody, Tim Miller from the Bullwark here. There has been this flurry of videos being taken by local journalists and citizens on the streets in Minneapolis. And they've delivered us these just horrifying scenes of confrontations between ICE and CBP agents and the people of Minneapolis. People are just trying to live their lives and do their jobs. citizens, I sort of about to see Uber drivers, people trying to just get their door dash. And in addition to conversations
Starting point is 00:00:37 with protesters who are within their rights in a free country to document what agents of the state are doing. And these videos have like piled up one after another, particularly since they're in a good shooting. There is, this is anecdotal evidence. I think from those videos,
Starting point is 00:00:56 that things have intensified, there is actual reported evidence that, you know, more agents are being sent to Minneapolis. And that might be part of the reason that these things are escalating. I know for a fact here in New Orleans, you know, both the local media and for my friends who have employees, have heard that, you know, essentially a lot of the ICE agents, CBP agents that were deployed here have been now redirected to Minnesota. So the result of this is more, confrontation, more harassing of citizens. And it's, let's just be honest, this is a powder keg. It's a powder keg that's going to lead to more terrible results.
Starting point is 00:01:36 And, and I think that, you know, it is pretty telling that after these thugs shot and killed a woman. If you took them with their word, and this really just was a tragedy where it was, you know, things moved very quickly. and this agent thought that he was, you know, that she was going to ram him and thought that his life was at risk. And so he fired his weapon and killed her. You could imagine a different world where after that, the agents, federal government would want to do everything they could to de-escalate,
Starting point is 00:02:11 right, to say that we're going to try to de-escalate. We're focusing on, you know, going after, you know, the criminals in the city, et cetera, et cetera. They've not done that. They've done the opposite. They're menacing and harassing people. And we can now see the video. evidence of all this. So I'm sure like many of you, these videos are coming across on social media,
Starting point is 00:02:29 it's hard to kind of separate what's real and what's new, you know, from other types of stuff that people are putting into your social media feed. So I want to go through a couple of these with you and just react to the terrible images that we're seeing in Minneapolis. So first up here, this is just hours after Renee Good was killed by an ICE officer, Ahmed bin Hassan, who was an Uber drivers at the Minneapolis airport when the border patrol agent knocked on his window. Let's take a look at what happened. It says U.S. Border Patrol. This is not the border. Go to the Canada border or the Mexico? I'm working. What do you mean if I'm from this country? What do you mean if I'm from this country? I can hear you going to have the same accent as me. That's why I'm going. Oh, so you're going by accents now?
Starting point is 00:03:14 Is that what it is? Is that accents? Have you heard the Israeli accent? Have you heard the European accent? This is tough. This guy is just doing his job. And now we've got agents of the state demanding IDs and judging people based on their accent. I don't know, you know, how that's supposed to work in a country of immigrants. I'm down here in New Orleans. Got a lot of people dumb southern accents. We got them Cajuns down here. You've got the Creole, the French.
Starting point is 00:03:43 The new immigrants are coming into this country. That's not what America is. I need to see your papers if I don't like your accent. Ahmed said that he knew when they came up that they were being targeted. That's the Uber Yard. He told the intercept, and the majority of people that hustle from there are men and women of the Somali immigrant population. So I want to play another video where Ahmed goes to tell the agent exactly what his real story is,
Starting point is 00:04:12 instead of being judged by his accent. A fucking engineer graduated from Washington State University. That's great. $70,000 student loans. That sucks. Hey, I'm doing Uber. You know what that means? I'd rather make an honest day's living.
Starting point is 00:04:24 I don't go harassing people at work, dude? What the hell is that? You have an engineer. Bro, you, all of you guys need psychiatric checkups. This is not normal. Why do you go to people's workplaces to harass them? Hell yeah. I love that, dude.
Starting point is 00:04:38 That other guy. Why are you an engineer? I don't know. Why are you in a fucking balaclava hassling people? What is this? You're in the Uber yard. You're obviously not going after any volunteer. violent criminals. Why can we only just see the whites of your eyes like you're robbing a
Starting point is 00:04:54 fucking bank? It gets much worse from there. I wanted to start with, with Ahmed, because he bested those fucking goons. But I want to now turn to a video, I'm sure many of you seen from a gas station at Minnesota. And this is, and the behavior here on behalf of the agents is despicable. Let's watch. Get back. This is unbelievable. Hey! Hey!
Starting point is 00:05:26 Get him! Get him! Get him! Let's go. Stay back. You know, and get back. You know, and the first ice go. Like, push the guy and then fight.
Starting point is 00:05:49 and then follow them and tackle them to the ground. And then as a woman approaches, they're in the pink jacket, you have a separate guy push her. Can we just watch that again? Let's go back to that part. Watch this woman in the pink here. Okay, smoke.
Starting point is 00:06:12 And then this woman in the pink comes back up. Watch this. That guy pushes her. What are you doing? What do you do? Why? Then he's threatening. And he threatens the media with what I assume is pepper spray or some equivalent.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Like, this is something that you expect to see in a third world country. Like these mass agents and fatigues like pushing and bullying people, pushing women with no, no evident, you know, target. he gets upset the fact that it looks like he's being videoed and he smokes the guy and then tackles him to the ground and they push they push a woman for good measure i mean i guess they should be happy that they didn't get shot in the face three times like ren good um let's move on uh this is again all of this is in you know somewhere in the minneapolis area this one's actually in richfield that's a 17 year old working at target um we've blurred his face uh since he's under age. But again, this is somebody that's just doing their job at Target. And here's what the ICE and CBP agents did to him.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Where is the paperwork for them? Where is it? They do it on target. Hey, hey, hey, New York. Hey, hey, go. Hey, fucking work. Hey, somebody helps. Going to ask where the fuck the words are. You guys don't have a life. What's your name?
Starting point is 00:07:44 What's your name? I'm literally a U.S. citizen. He's a U.S. citizen. Supposedly, according to reports, they dumped him off at a Walmart later in the day. U.S. citizen, 17-year-old, getting pushed around doing his job at a target. I assume he was also targeted because you could hear there his little accent. This guy right here, they let him out of the vehicle. They quartered him. This guy?
Starting point is 00:08:12 This guy right here, yeah. You're okay, man? Oh, I'm not okay. These guys are just, you know, I guess using the, using the Kavanaugh rule. They're just going around and racially targeting people, targeting people based on their way that they speak, targeting people based on their mood, their whim, and roughhousing them, manhandling them. It's truly, truly insane. Bullwork takes a sponsor by Quince.

Starting point is 00:10:18 chilling that I've seen. And it's because it's coming from inside a house. And what happens in this situation is a door dash driver is being filed by ice. I guess they go to deliver the meal and the person who's house is that they're going to and they get let into the house. So I please let me in the house. These guys are coming for me. And the person that is in the house is like asking if they have a warrant.
Starting point is 00:10:45 They don't. And so she is panic. inside her house. She's a little baby. She is now protecting somebody that is, you know, being chased by Trump's, well, many Gestapo. And outside her house, where her baby is, you've got people with guns, like, pointing at the house.
Starting point is 00:11:08 And she's panicked. So let's just watch. They don't have a warrant. They don't have a warrant. They said they'll get one. Okay, if they get one, then they're gonna break the door down. That's fine, but I don't want to open the door if they don't have a warrant. Because this was my door dash lady.
Starting point is 00:11:27 I don't even know the lady. She just ran to my house. All right. I have a baby here. Like, I really don't know what to do. I'll open the door if the police, you don't say that I have to open the door, but like, I don't know what to do. This lady just was shot yesterday.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Now I ordered fucking food and there's people outside my fucking house. Cheyenne, I'm on my way, okay? All right. do what do I do? What do I'm so scared? How is this America? How is America where this lady is just, has to live in fear. Like all she did was order a lunch.
Starting point is 00:12:01 And now she's got somebody inside her house. He's got a baby. She's got these agents pointing guns at her. And if you just look at some of this and, you know, you can kind of, this is from the inside as you can see. And we're trying to kind of match all these, these images.
Starting point is 00:12:15 But you can see what they're, like, what their MO is outside these houses. A baby. Until you guys have a world. They're in fatigues. They're in their masks. They've got weapons. There are many, many people outside the house.
Starting point is 00:12:42 It's like, what is this necessary? Why are they doing this? Like, this is not acceptable, okay? Doing immigration enforcement does not require the type of, the type of firepower that you would need. to like clear a house in Fallujah. Okay. Why are these guys, you know, dressed like they are, you know, storming down the door of a suspected terrorist safe house right now?
Starting point is 00:13:15 It's like they're in a neighborhood in Minneapolis and the people that they're going after are, I assume, are people that have orders of deportation. And okay, you can do that via paperwork. You know, you can do that with a single cop and a social worker if that is going to be the mission. You know, sure, I think it's probably the case in some of these cases that they've identified people that are violent criminals. And, you know, you might want to have more agents with you and agents with weapons. Like, in some situations, sure. but like chasing down a woman who's driving DoorDash and like and and doing this kind of Rambo thing where we have a bunch of dudes in fatigue storming the house. Like that is not in the American tradition.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Okay. I mean this is it isn't the American tradition I guess in the sense of like it's like reminiscent of like the clan and the and Bull Connor. And, you know, cops in the south, like going down and menacing black people is what it's what is reminiscent of, really. So it's not as if there's nothing in American history that's like this. But, like, this is not the way that we, you know, do law enforcement here. Like, you don't need to have, you know, to, you don't chase people down that crime is like overstaying a visa. and chase them through the streets and manhandle them and menace them and have weapons and masks and army fatigues. This is sick. And what they're end up doing is they're scaring and intimidating
Starting point is 00:15:07 people that are here legally, that are that are residents. You have this woman in her home. You have that kid working at Target. You know, you have the Uber driver. None of these people are even the people that they're allegedly going after. None of them are illegal or undocumented. Like, they're all people that are just being menaced and intimidated by their government for no reason. Like, it's crazy to me that the fucking guys in the don't tread on me flags are for this. Supposedly, like reportedly, the person that killed Renee Good at a don't tread on me flag at his house. It's like, you're the treader, bro. Like, you guys are there.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Like, if you're the type of person that don't tread on me flag, you should be at the front of the line, protesting this. Because right now the federal government is trampling on us, on all of us. I mean, it could be anybody that could get trampled on. If it's this woman inside her home who just ordered DoorDash, it's a kid working at Target. Like, going after these people violently and non-transparently and with menace is it's wrong and it's safe. And it's and anyone who does not want to be on the side of the jack boot should be out in the streets protesting this. Okay, just one more.
Starting point is 00:16:33 This one is sad. They're all sad. But that's the case of Juan Carlos. And he's reportedly a U.S. resident who is homeless. He's living in his car in Minneapolis. You know, we don't have the pre-video of what happened exactly, but he was taken out of his car and he was beat up. They beat his ass. U.S. citizen.
Starting point is 00:17:00 These are pictures of his faces from his GoFundMe. This is what they did to this guy. This is what I say this is what the people we pay, our tax dollars, beat up this guy who's an American citizen who's homeless living in this car. Like, we're paying for this. It's fucking outrageous. No wonder people are in the streets. They should be in this.
Starting point is 00:17:26 the streets. We, and, um, like we as a society should be all uniting no matter what our views are on the perfect immigration policy to say no to this. We cannot stand by and allow our tax dollars to fund a bunch of thugs pushing women in gas station parking lots and beating up homeless people who are U.S. citizens and scaring the hell out of women inside a house with their baby and shooting women in the face three times on the street. It's a no. We have to stance in solidarity against all of this because this is what they're doing. This has all been happening since that execution. So this stuff is ratcheting up, not down. And it is going to take a united populace to say no to get them to back off this. And it's worked. We should note that it's worked.
Starting point is 00:18:20 They did back off in Chicago. They did back off of their campaign to send people to El Salvador. They can be rebuffed, but we all have to unite and do it. In the meantime, you know, yesterday, Christy Nome said that they're going to be sending more ice agents into the city. So I fear that things are going to get worse before they get better. We're sending all our love to everybody out there in Minnesota who is out there in the streets. Thanks guys very much. Subscribe to the feed. We're here on Bullwork Takes.
Starting point is 00:18:48 As new information, new videos pop up, we're going to be doing my best to kind of monitor those, bring elevate, bring attention to what is happening in the streets of Minneapolis. I'll help you guys debunk and understand what's real out there in those videos. So subscribe to the feed here and we'll be talking to you soon.
