Starting point is 00:00:00 Look at that. Hey, everybody. It's Tim Miller of the Bullwork. Could not be more excited to be with you tonight for a very special live stream coinciding with the Project Runway finale. I know many of you are interested to know whether or not Jude from New Orleans is going to be able to take home the crown and shock the design world. And so, you know, we'll be assessing all of the outfits that they put together and getting the grades from our panel. No, we don't get to do that. No. Unfortunately, we'll be assessing. we have to watch the whatever this says this fucking republican convention or whatever we're calling it um is that real tim is that true tonight is the project one-way finale and i will be out of here to what jude is a as a young straight man a straight man winning the project runway championship is very unexpected and i andrew very alliance for your people is he is he going to be is he going to be here at night three of the i don't he seems like a soft boy to me What are you in a project runway are we on now? 22.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Thank you for asking. There we go. I was like the, I knew I knew they were counter-propraming. I'm glad it's still going. I knew they were counter-programming Thursday night football, like the first Thursday night football of the year. I did not know there were two pieces of must-see TV that they were asking people to skip.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Two NFL games. I have missed two NFL games to come to this thing. And I'm not true. Time you're never getting back. There are two Americas, okay? And some of us will be focused on Jude's unlikely. path to victory in the project 10th, season 22. So far, what you've missed, we came on pretty much on time for what we expected,
Starting point is 00:01:36 but these people have been talking for hours. That you have there, Carolyn Levitt. Earlier tonight, we had the crowd calling for the assassination of Zoran Mamdani and Abdul Al-Sayad and James Talariko while Ted Cruz was on stage. We have to watch that. RFK has been asking, won't we please think of the mothers who imagine that their children have vaccine injuries, and we have some more Hassan-Piker nudes? So that's what's been happening so far.
Starting point is 00:02:00 On the panel with me in the cyberspace, Lauren Egan, author of our opposition newsletter, Andrew Agger, Morning Shots Newsletter, and in Dallas, at American Airlines Arena, Sonny Bunch, getting the hazard pay. You've earned it, Sunny. Why don't we start with you? How's it been going down there? What are the vibes are very good? Everyone's very excited to be here.
Starting point is 00:02:23 I was very thrilled to hear the shoot-im chant. It's funny because I like actually texted the our Slack group was like, did they say shoot him? Is that what's going on right now? Because I wasn't sure if I was mishearing it from the 200 section. But it was a, that was a weird moment. Well, should we just watch it together? Let's just start with that. It's just a little moose-bush, just kind of a little calls for death.
Starting point is 00:02:49 He says he wants to seize the means of production. He means it. He should be shot. When Abdul al-Said says he has a, quote, obligation to comply with Sharia law, he means it. He means it. And when James Talariko says he wants to dismantle capitalism, he means it. A little hitch there for Ted at the end after the third shot call. So, okay, I mean, I guess what is that expected?
Starting point is 00:03:23 Sassati, why don't you just kind of generalize the audience for us? What kind of person or what kind of folk are you been meeting with? Well, I'll say, I'll say, so when I, when I heard it in person, it definitely sounded like one. It wasn't a chant. It wasn't like a call and response quite, but it was definitely like there was a guy. There was at least one and then maybe a couple more after that who like were like, oh yeah, this is a fun thing to do. Who were, who were into it. But it definitely.
Starting point is 00:03:49 You think they would honor Charlie Kirk's death and, you know, a little bit a little more respectful. Well, this was. Well, so this. This came either shortly before or shortly after the Charlie Kirk Memorial thing that they did here, which was interesting in and of itself. But I would say, look, the vibes here are really very, this is Trump's party. And I mean that in two senses. This is Trump's GOP, but also this is Trump's party. Like, this is a party for Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:04:20 That's how that's the best way to understand this thing. Everybody here is in Trump gear, not Republican gear. It's a mixture of like Trump gear and American flag cowboy hats. And they are here to celebrate Donald Trump. And they are here to take orders from him to go out and do what he wants. And that's kind of, again, it's, it's a very strange thing to see the party captured that totally by a single individual. It is, I guess it's not surprising at this point. but it is the world in which we live.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Now, Lauren, you're mostly covering the Democrats. And you had a kind of newsletter to this effect this week, but people haven't got to it. How do you think the Democrats running in these races on midterms feel about Trump having a party for himself here in the middle of the summer? They're thrilled. This is like the best possible thing they could have asked for coming right out of Labor Day. When I was talking to Democrats, they're basically like, look, the more that Trump is out there, the more that he's nationalizing midterms, the more that he's making it about himself. the better it is for Democratic candidates.
Starting point is 00:05:27 And I think obviously the context that this is all happening in matters a lot. This is like the worst time for Donald Trump to be making the case for his presidency. If you just like run through everything that's happened in the past couple days, I mean, oils are up. You've got these former AI executives coming out saying AI is going to kill us all potentially. This is an industry he's backed. We're in a trade with Canada. All these things are happening and Trump's just out there making it about himself, reminding everyone all this stuff that he's done.
Starting point is 00:05:53 So Democrats and I talked to in competitive House raises and Senate races, couldn't be happier that this is how they're starting their post-Labor Day sprint. I should have said, before I get to you, Andrew, just for people who were not here with Sam and Catherine at all last night, what the plan is for the evening, you're not enjoying the tones of Carolyn Levitt, former press secretary right now because, you know, we're chatting with you, setting the table. We'll probably jump into a little.
Starting point is 00:06:21 a little bit of the speech of one possible 2028 contender, Donald Trump Jr. We'll do as much of that as we can handle. And then we'll chat for a little while longer. And then J.D. Vance will be up. And we'll watch J.D. Vance and do that kind of mystery science 3,000 style. It will be a lot of J.D. and a little bit of us. And that's kind of the plan for as long as we can do it. Unfortunately, I'm just on Coca-Cola tonight.
Starting point is 00:06:48 So we'll see if I'm behaved. Andrew, I want your take on, like, here's the counterpoint to what Lauren says about the Democrats like this. They want Trump on the ballot. Given how bad the Republican standing is right now with independent voters with the traditional swing voters because of, you know, gas prices, economy, et cetera, is not the best thing that Trump could do, actually, you know, and given the playing field, big Texas, Iowa, all these red states going out there and trying to. to just cajole his base into voting in the midterms when they might not have otherwise. Is that actually kind of not a crazy strategy from a losing position? No, it might be their best available plan among several really bad plans. I mean, you could imagine an alternate universe where, you know, the last 10 years have gone
Starting point is 00:07:40 a little differently. The Republican Party has not been uniquely formed around this one dude that, you know, anti-trial or at least sort of Trump agnostic Republicans have been allowed to remain. They haven't been systematically purged in one election after another after another, where then you come into a cycle like this. Trump is, his approval is in the mid-30s. Everything's falling apart, collapsing around his ears. His coalition is failing. And you would see a lot of these guys in these races in that universe want to keep him at arm's length, want to accentuate their independent bona fides, accentuate that they are not just a rubber stamp on this president. That could happen.
Starting point is 00:08:18 They could not run that playbook even if they wanted to at this moment in time with this cast of characters that they have up in these races. Everybody knows that these Republicans exist to do Trump's bidding, that that's what they're there for in the House and in the Senate, that that is what they will be called upon to do. That that's the main thing at stake in these midterms in terms of, you know, policy going forward in the next two years is will Trump be investigated and will his priorities be held up and his nominees be held up in the Senate or won't they. be. And so it's just, it's, it's, it's too little too late for any Republicans to take any other strategy other than we are completely tied to this guy who's extremely unpopular. And I guess we can try to attack that unpopularity head on and see if we can pull anybody back. See if we can reassemble this coalition in any way by trying to redirect their attention to some of the things that we've done that we think they might like, like the one big beautiful bill last year, like tax
Starting point is 00:09:15 cuts by doing yet another round of rabble rousing about Democratic socialists and all of these sorts of things. Again, it is a really, really, really tall order. I do not think there was any reason to believe last night that they got any closer to landing that plane. But when you're assessing a strategy like this, you have to compare it to other possible strategies. And I just kind of think they're backed into a corner on this one.
Starting point is 00:09:40 This gentleman that is speaking right now, in case you're wondering, is everyday America. and job creator. So there you go. We're not going to listen to any of his remarks. Donald Trump Jr. This has been one of my favorite parts of this whole ridiculous event is that they will like once an hour or so or maybe once every two hours.
Starting point is 00:10:03 They will just have people come up who are labeled as everyday Americans in the kids. And it's like I created jobs. We did the things. And like I guess I get it. That's fine. But put their names on the screen. Like, just give them the courtesy of at least being like,
Starting point is 00:10:22 here I am with the president and Mrs. President in the photo there. Like, here's my name. I'm not just everyday American. Like, I don't know. It's just everyday gooning American. You know, I go to work nine to five. Like, loved my wife once a month, gooning more often than that.
Starting point is 00:10:38 It's nice. It's just a regular guy. Let's go to, oh, wait, I wanted to mention the ratings. Not good. Have you guys seen what the ratings were on Fox for last night's performance? I have not actually seen that. Okay, so I would everybody guess. The average Hannity show gets about like between two and three million viewers, you know, in his slot, whenever that is, 10 o'clock in the East and prime time.
Starting point is 00:11:03 So that was when Trump was speaking last night. What do you think that the ratings were last night, Sonny? Total number of viewers. I would assume we're going below that. So 1.6.1.6. It was 2-5. So they're right in the middle. It was just an average Hannity show.
Starting point is 00:11:22 It was just an average Hannity show last night. Just could have just Hannity. Who does Hannity have on these days? You know, like Hannity interviewing my old boss, Ryan's prebis, than Hannity having Riley Gaines come on to talk about how Kately Clark was fouled a little too hard last night. Like, you know, like that show would have been even to Trump's speech. Trump did an interview with Fox with Laura Ingraham before this.
Starting point is 00:11:47 And I want to go to some of that. Andrew, to talk about your argument that they don't really have a good angle here. A lot of that is based on the Iran war. And you can tell, based even on how Laura Ingram is talking about it. Let's go to Chris, you can pull up the no regrets video of Laura Ingram talking to Trump, no regrets. When Iran, you would be cruising to midterm victory, 225. Yeah. Well, you don't know that.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Any regrets? No, I think, I don't believe in the word regret. You can always question yourself a little bit. A few people have asked me that if I had it to do again, I do exactly as I did. I took out their nuclear capability. Supposing we were cruising and all of a sudden Iran has a nuclear weapon, they would use it, they're crazy, okay, I deal with them, they're crazy, and they would use it. They would have wiped out Israel, they would have wiped out the Middle East.
Starting point is 00:12:46 and they would have started hitting a couple of our cities. Sonny, what's your take on that, the no regrets? So it's actually really interesting here talking to kind of the rank and file folks who have showed up for this thing. Because they don't actually have anything to do. This isn't a convention. It's not a convention, right. They're not a delegates. They're not voting on, you know, whatever.
Starting point is 00:13:13 So it's been kind of interesting talking to folks. about this, it's the one issue that people are really splitting from Trump on. There is a lot of like, either Trump was not, this was not a good idea, we shouldn't have done this, or Trump has been actively misled into doing this. And those are the, those are, like, it's the closest to anyone will get to saying, this was wrong and we shouldn't have done it. And Trump was wrong to do it. This one issue of all the issues, you know, I ask people about the, I ask people about the $5,000
Starting point is 00:13:48 dividend, you know, like you're conservative, we're all conservatives here. We're, you know, you don't like government spending, right? You don't want to increase the inflation. And they're like, well, normally I would say no, but there's a lot of no but. The Iran thing is the one thing where they're like, well, you know, this is a, this is a tough one. And I don't support it, but also, it's a real wedge with the base. I think it's going to actually be a problem with him. Which is interesting to see what we've seen from J.D. Vance, our keynote tonight. There was a leak to the New York Times.
Starting point is 00:14:23 You could say who it could be from today, talking about how J.D. Vance has really had concerns about the war. This story happened a few weeks ago. We have another one today. I was calling some military leaders in the region, asking them about it. He's getting some different reports from what the public reports have been. I don't know, Andrew or Lurney, you can jump in on that. Like, does this, do you think that works for him? Like, is this a workable posture?
Starting point is 00:14:49 It's pretty telling that he feels like he can kind of Javanka his way out of the Iran one. I feel like he's just into deep. I mean, you know, the people that are reading these stories, like, minute by minute, we can sort of read the two leaves and figure out who might have wanted to get that story out there. But I don't think that works for him. Like, I don't think the average person is. All they know is that he's Trump's vice president, and he is just as responsible for this war. And if we go into a 2028 primary, I feel like he kind of owns this.
Starting point is 00:15:19 I don't know how he gets himself out of this. I don't intend to just continue to say the same thing over and over again all night. But basically the same thing I said before in a different context, perhaps the best of all bad options for the vice president. I mean, you cannot get out. The league for the bail in New York Times. Isn't that a risk that Trump gets pissed at him, though? Oh, I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:42 I don't know. I don't think, I don't think, I think this is pretty far down Donald Trump's list of concerns. And if you read that article, I mean, it's sort of artfully done in the sense of, you know, it's putting it out there that J.D. was making these calls to all these generals. But it also, you know, makes sure to note that he was doing this with the full, you know, A.O.K. of Donald Trump and the knowledge of Marco Rubio and Susie Wiles. It was not like an insurgent action in any kind of way. He's just trying to lay a trail of breadcrumbs, not to convince people now, but so that he can point back to it later, right? I mean, when we're on the far side of this, he has his fingers crossed, you know, God, I hope we're out of all of this long before 2028 actually rolls around.
Starting point is 00:16:27 People are really mad about it right now, but hopefully, you know, the anger will have started to die down. And at that point, maybe I'll be able to make the sale that, that, yes, it was bad. Yes, I was involved with all of it. But as everybody knows, and as was repeatedly reported in the New York Times, I had my reservations all along. I was trying to pump the brakes to whatever extent I could. You all remember Donald Trump. He's a hard guy to hold back from something that he wants to do. And again, I don't know if it's going to land.
Starting point is 00:16:53 I completely agree with Lauren that all of this is a little bit too cute by half when it comes to the way the broader populace actually processes new. He's going to be tied to all of this stuff. But what else is he supposed to do? It's interesting where the leak went to, Jonathan Swan and Maggie Haberman. You'd think that if it was like the generals he was talking to, saying to a reporter, I got this call from the vice president, that maybe it would have been like a military reporter that would have got that leak. Anyway, on stage right now, I'm pulling up the prediction markets here is the one, two, three, four, five, six, seventh most likely person to be the Republican nominee in 2028,
Starting point is 00:17:32 behind his father and just ahead of his sister in the eighth slot. So that's Donald Trump Jr. Let's just hear a little bit. What do we think he's talking about? Can't be infringed on by any politician or left-wing corporation. Those left-wing corporations. We are proud to be Americans, and we're not triggered at the sight of an American flag. In fact, we take our hats off and salute you.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Okay. flag culture, some light flag culture war? And when was the last time you heard the word triggered? I feel like that one's kind of gone by the wayside a little. The name of his book, I think. I think that that was like a book pitch hidden in there. Oh, you guys are going to trigger the companies. How to eat an elephant.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Common sense Americans believe in merit, not DEI mandates. They believe in equal opportunity and not racial preferences. And finally, we don't apologizing for wanting safe streets and supporting our police. I will never apologizing for wanting safe streets. We don't apologizing for that. You can see why seven. These are not extremist positions. They are common sense.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Sunny, what's the vibe like in there? On the other side, you have a dystopian. I can't actually see how people are reacting to this, but I will say that from the feed right here, This is way more subdued. Open borders. A lot of other. Mass amnesty for millions of the people. I know JBL is very high on Don Jr.
Starting point is 00:19:13 I've never seen it. I just don't think he's got the Jews. Defunding our law enforcement and allowing America's greatest cities to be overtaken by drug dealers and encampments for the homeless. Imprisening children's in failing public school. Children's? Did he just say children? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Mutilating our kids and calling it health care. Putting men. in women's sports and in girls locker rooms. There it is. It's just Ron DeSanish from like three years ago. Shutting down pipelines and blocking oil and gas production. That's enough of Don. We might have had a pipeline shut down in Saudi Arabia's back because the Hooties hit it and stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:58 We'll see how that goes. Diesel's at a record high right now thanks to his dad's energy policies. We can mute Don. We can just mute John. We don't need any more. I'm getting, I am getting triggered by the, by the sound of his voice underneath the fake teeth. The Kendall Roy energy is just unbelievably off the charts, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:20:19 He's the eldest boy. He's the eldest boy and therefore deserves the title. It's just so on the nose as Kendall, though. Yeah, I don't think it's going to happen for him. Well, let's, as I mentioned there earlier that we had in the 28th stage, three Trumps in the top eight. And Sonny, you were talking about kind of like the Trump party aspect of this earlier. There's a video, and I believe this is a retread, but it's still alarming nonetheless.
Starting point is 00:20:58 It's called God gave us Trump. I want to play a little bit of that. And on June 14, 1946, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, I need a care taker. So God gave us Trump. God said, I need somebody willing to get up before dawn. Fix this country. Work all day. Like the Marxist, eat supper, then go to the Oval Office and stay past midnight at a meeting of the heads of state. So God made Trump.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Andrew, you're the most God-fearing one here. After Trump did the Trump himself as Jesus meme, you know, there was some discussion that maybe that was an accident. and it's not blasphemous, but they feel, they don't really feel like they're backing off of the, you know, Trump is either a God himself or a vessel of God. I don't know. Yeah, yeah. Vessel of God is basically an accurate descriptor of what, I mean, that video goes on and on, too, by the way. I will say the first time I ever bumped into that specific piece of content was during the 24 election.
Starting point is 00:22:06 In the lead up to the Iowa caucuses, Trump was playing this at Trump events in Iowa, which, at least by reputation is has a very strong kind of like religiously conservative, evangelical Republican vote that's important there. And it was not making one bit of difference. It was not drawing backlash. It was not, you know, Trump romped in Iowa. DeSantis and Haley came in very distant, distant, second and third place. And from that moment on, I was kind of like, okay, we are really good.
Starting point is 00:22:42 cooked as sort of a anything resembling a sort of normal engagement with right-wing politics from where the conservative Christians are at right now. But I'm a little surprised that they have continued that energy. I mean, it's everything is so ground, everything has ground to a halt so much. He's lost all of his momentum. He's not this sort of world striding figure that he thought he was going to be and that he pretended to be all last year. And so much of of what the pitch is now is sort of like, well, all these bad things are happening, but they aren't really my fault. And, and, you know, just stick with me and we're all going to get through it together.
Starting point is 00:23:21 And anyway, the Democrats are worse. Like this, this idea that he is sort of this great man of history who has changed all of the things now to be the way that they are today. Well, people don't like the way that they are today. So I'm surprised that they are continuing to lean in on this as hard as they are. I want to go to folks' super chats here in a second. So if you have a super chat, you want to send it to us. I thought it might be interesting, though, to contrast kind of the vibe that they're going for of this Trump cult, vessel of God, giving everybody $5,000.
Starting point is 00:23:56 That's their message with what Trump's counter message was to Laura Ingram about the Democrats. Let's watch that little video from earlier. It might be a little thing called communism. One sentence, if you could boil down why Republicans need to show up in the midterms, one sentence. Communism. They are trying to turn this country around and destroy our country. Parts of communism, don't you think he likes, I guess, is the open-ended question I have. Is there a specific thing about communism he doesn't like?
Starting point is 00:24:38 The running theme of this whole, first of all, I don't. I don't know how to answer that question because I don't know what the answer is. But the running theme of this whole thing so far has been communism and women in men, men and women sports. Like those are the two things everybody keeps coming back to. It's communism. It's socialism. It's the DSA. It's the Sonspiker in his underwear on the screen.
Starting point is 00:25:05 Tim, I know you were very sad to miss that here live in person. Not my type, but you know. Okay. All right. But the, but the, but it was, it's like, they keep coming back to it. And they keep just saying communism. And I like, there was a whole rift either today or last night that was like, they skipped right past the socialism. They went to the communism.
Starting point is 00:25:25 And I just like, do people buy this? I just like, I understand that the DSA is a thing. I understand that the Democratic Socialist for America is a thing. And that, and that that is a scare word for folks. And they don't want to have, you know, the, they, the, the, the, the Republican. really want to hammer that as like the thing to be afraid of because that's the bottom line of this whole thing is fear it's fear this whole thing is what are you afraid of are you afraid of your daughter being in a volleyball game and getting like spiked in the face is that what you're
Starting point is 00:25:56 afraid of this this this that's what's happening here are you afraid of Lauren did you play volleyball that feels like that could happen in a all women's volleyball match some dangerous spike in not play volleyball I feel like it could definitely happen I was a swimmer um so you know Got some thoughts on the Riley Gaines situation. Why don't you share? Yeah. That's for another day, you know. We were, we swam against each other once back in the day.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Wow. Yeah. Did she beat you? Did she beat me? She's actually pretty fast. People make fun of her getting fifth. Fortunately, fifth at NCAAs is really fast. Fifth is really good.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Fifth is really good. It's like one of the fastest beats me. In the world, yeah, unfortunately. I make fun of a forgetting fifth because that's great. I like, there's no reason to make a whole career out of it. It's like be proud in your foot. Literally not. Yeah, and like carry on with life.
Starting point is 00:26:54 No one goes into women's domain to like GoPro. We all know that going into it. But yeah, I don't know. On the women's sport stuff too, like Democrats are really trying to kneecap this argument. I think just in the past couple of days like James Tolerico was out there. He did an interview on Fox and was asked about this. and I thought he gave a pretty good answer. A few other people about there.
Starting point is 00:27:15 The Texas, who I'm blaring on her name, who's running for a governor in Texas, she had an ad that just came out that was like, here are my pronouns, it's mom, and it's soon to be governor. She's just kind of like making fun of all of this shit. And I think that they've been pretty, the most prominent Democrats this cycle,
Starting point is 00:27:31 I think have been pretty effective on some of this stuff. Andrew, you passed over the question about what Donald Trump doesn't like about communism. That wasn't really a trick question. I was still trying to figure. I understand what he doesn't like about Muslims. I don't understand what he doesn't like about communism. Seems like a nice fit for him, kind of.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I think that Donald Trump doesn't like the idea that these things are administered, like would be administered by large bureaucracies. He likes, and according to systems, he likes to be the guy in the chair who sort of doles out personally the benefits on each supplicant who comes before him. That's kind of the way he has reorganized the country now, where it's basically capitalist, except that he can sort of demand, you know, a golden share from any company that comes before him and wants business done, and he can sort of extort, and he can get
Starting point is 00:28:21 donations to his pet causes and things like this. So it's, you know, it's like he has been a capitalist in his life. He does not mind that system playing out out there. He does not mind any of these sort of titans of industry making incredible sums of money so long as they then turn around and bend the and do what he wants them to do on his products and plow a bunch of money into his causes. Kind of nuanced, you know, nuanced critique of communism. I don't know, man, you asked. No, that's right. That's a good answer.
Starting point is 00:28:51 It's kind of like there's a lot he likes and there's few things not to like, you know. He wants to do. I do think that like the key to Trump's idea of capitalism is that it is a sort of command capitalism, right? Like, I go and make a deal with somebody and that's what the deal is. It's not competition in the market. It's like, I'm going to go to the city and they're going to make, they're going to let me build this building. I'm going to put my name on it. And that's what we're doing.
Starting point is 00:29:16 And that I think is the, I do think that's the key fundamental thing to understanding his whole system of economics, which is like, I'm going to sign a check. I'm going to send you $5,000. How do you like that? That's what he wants. This brand of capitalism is just like not capitalism. That's right. Those of you guys that might see it, hold on, which side am I on here? I'm demoing a new shirt that's going to be in the bulwark store soon about how.
Starting point is 00:29:39 how we're the capitalist wing of Antifa. So I get a little, I get a little, you know, kind of personal about all this. Can I put this up on screen? Oh, wait, because you saw that. Sorry, Chris, you're trying to get it in there. There you go. Isn't that nice little shirt for you guys? All right, let's go to the Super Chats.
Starting point is 00:29:56 And then we'll sneak you in an ad before we get to J.D. Vance. Trump is reverting. How do I get these on screen? You know, I'm such a boomer. Go on screen, Stephen in L.A. Okay, whatever. with later. Stephen in LA says Trump is reverting back to 1950s Roy Cone Red Scare playbook. Sonny deserves hazard pay. A lot of people said that. Mona was saying that we're helping
Starting point is 00:30:20 her mental health, even if ours might suffer. We appreciate that, Mona. We have a question about who this is for. I think that's a fair question. Like, who is this for? Does anybody have an answer to that? It's just for Trump, right? Yeah, like the diehard MAGA fans, base voters, like the people that are tuning into Hannity, apparently, that's the audience. You know? I'll say,
Starting point is 00:30:48 on the ground, this is definitely a thing for people who are very into Donald Trump, who are into him being the leader of the party. Like, again, like, I have not seen any GOP apparel
Starting point is 00:31:04 at all. It's all Trump. It's all, like, maga hats and you know it's it is very much a party for trump to reinforce that he is the head of this party just to reiterate a point that sunny made i don't remember it was on this streamer when you wrote for morning shots this morning but but it it really does kind of feel like it's a big party for him just to kind of help him get his head right you know like it's it's a lot of stuff's going wrong he's getting kind of surly he's getting kind of grumpy but they do really need him to like perform now they need him to go out and whip up his base uh if they're going to have any
Starting point is 00:31:41 prayer of of of not just getting completely swept away and in a historic blue wave here um and and so you know getting him on stage this is the sort of thing he's always pulled a lot of energy out of get him in the mood to go out on the trail uh and and and shore up the base in some of these districts at least in places like you know kansas and texas if not these these actual swingers swingier spaces um and uh and and and maybe it's helpful for them in that respect who knows But why don't we go to the ad now? And then maybe Chris can teach my boomer asks how to get the super chats onto the screen before we have to suffer through J.D. Vance. I might need a drink for that speech as well.

Otherwise, I'm just going to start reading into people. By the way,
Starting point is 00:34:51 if any of you guys are in Ohio and you're watching this right now, please come see us in Dayton. Go to the Borg.com slash events. We'll be there in two weeks. There you go. Kyle, we deserve a tip. I do deserve a dip. I really deserve a $5,000 dividend, actually. Thanks for the five bucks. Andrew, can you help me understand the difference between the dividend and like, what's a dividend versus a bonus versus a stimulus? Can you explain?
Starting point is 00:35:18 A dividend is a word that makes it sound somewhat more market-e and therefore helps it get past the gag reflex of some of these people who would like to, continue to carry themselves as capitalists. I mean, like, that's the, that is the long and short of it. It is, it is completely invented. It's supposed to be tied to these tariff revenues. That's, you know, we're, oh, we're bringing in so much money with these tariffs, you know, like there's, Andrew, I'm interrupting you on my sarcastic question, because there's a real question from Lucas there. We should do more on conservative evangelism, evangelism, evangelicalism. Is that right? Is that how you say it? Yes, are you kidding?
Starting point is 00:35:58 evangelicalism okay what the hell you talk to Lucas what do you think about this is this true are folks in the subculture getting a little uncompy I think it is I think it is true I hear from a lot of people like this I mean it's it is and look I should I should say I am not like a conservative evangelical of the sort that most people tend to think when they say conservative evangelical where it's you know like guitars in church and and Billy Graham and all these sorts of things. I'm a much smaller, weirder thing. I'm high church Lutheran. But I do hear from a lot of people who there's always been sort of a certain amount of overlap between the political stuff and the faith stuff in evangelicalism. For the longest time, the tip of the spear for conservative
Starting point is 00:36:50 evangelicals, the really pro-Trump ones, tended to be the people who were more unchurched. You know, they tend to see evangelicalism more as a cultural marker than anything like this or than anything else. And I do think that more and more, especially in Trump 2.0, there has been more of a bleed into the actual institutional churches in evangelicalism also just kind of becoming more and more co-opted by political considerations. And that has been really hard for a lot of people who see that I mean, they believe this stuff. They believe very deeply that being in these churches every week is what they need to do. It's part of their obligations to God.
Starting point is 00:37:34 It's part of, you know, it's it is maintenance on their own souls. It's high-stakes stuff. And yet they get in the pew and they feel like I'm surrounded by these hostile political messages that I think are ridiculous. And it's not a majority position by any stretch of the imagination, you know. Churches are very politically sorted. already. But because in large part, because there's realignment happening, you know, you still don't have perfect sorting of the Trump phenomenon in the church bodies that exist now. And so it is hard. It is actually hard on a lot. There you go. I had a long conversation with Pedro Gonzalez today,
Starting point is 00:38:12 who it was a MAGA writer that used to call me names, and now he's flipped sides. So maybe folks can go watch that if they want a little more on this. We are going to turn. I've asked my husband to bring me a cocktail. We're all going to listen together to James, Donald Bowman turned James David Hamill turns J.D. Vance now, his third name and the vice president. Your name, so go ahead and do it again. I have to start, ladies and gentlemen, with a note of gratitude to each and every single person in this room and each and every single person who's watching, whether you're in the convention hall with us or watching from home on TV. You are here tonight because you love this country and we're not going to let it go backwards. Two years ago, we have to remember our nation, ladies and gentlemen, was tired. We were tired of seeing our factories close.
Starting point is 00:39:29 We were tired of our neighbors dying of drug overdoses. We were tired of not being able to afford anything. We were tired of seeing the cartels and the criminals given free reign over our great country. And we were tired of being called racist for noticing that our country was becoming dirtier and poor and less safe and less prosperous. By the end of 2024, you were tired. We were tired as a country, but you were not defeated. The radicals in Washington, they could take much from us, but they couldn't take our will to fight back. And so all of us came together on November the 5th, and we sent the toughest ever. SOB in American politics back to the White House and we made Donald J. Trump to the United States.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Now, ladies and gentlemen, this is a, this is a joyful occasion for me. I see the great state of Ohio right here in the front row. I'm not sure about the strategic graze there, like the hair club. It's kind of like just go all in or all out on the air club for men. It's also a somber occasion for me personally. I know for so many of you out there because the last time that I addressed a convention of of my fellow Republicans, remember just two years ago, I had just become the Republican nominee for Vice President of the United States. I was... It is a long time since he's given a speech like this, I feel. I was a brand new senator.
Starting point is 00:41:19 I'd been in politics for all of a year and a half. I guess the president likes outsiders. I was nervous. Think about it, I was speaking on the biggest stage of my life and I'd been in politics for barely a year and a half. But I will never forget that as I made that speech, as I addressed the country on the biggest stage of my life in the front row right about there,
Starting point is 00:41:41 my dear friend Charlie Kirk was smiling and cheering me and reminding me that I had a good friend right here in the convention hall. And of course, after I was elected Vice President the United States, one year ago today, on September the 10th of last year, that good friend was taken from us when Charlie was assassinated.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Now, Charlie left behind two children, Two little kids, they were too young to fully understand, and a wife, the amazing Erica, who has carried on his mission with more courage and resolve than most of us will ever be asked to show. And we love you, Erica. But to those sweet kids, I don't imagine they're watching tonight, they're still very young. But I hope that one day they will watch and they will know and they will understand what I'm trying to say to them tonight. though they may not appreciate it today, history will record that your father was a great man. But those of us who loved your dad, we knew him as something even better than a great man. He was a good man.
Starting point is 00:43:28 And I want you to know what your dad knew. Scripture says that God is a father to the fatherless, that every one of us is adopted. into his family. And as the Apostle Paul told us, as he wrote to the Romans, if we are his children, then we are also his heirs. We have inherited. We are entitled to inherit something straight from God the Father. In an Ordo Amora's fashion, you can inherit it if you're like my neighbor, but then maybe not. We live, of course, in an imperfect world of fallen men. We live in the city of man, not the city of God. But I believe that our founders built this nation on a promise that echoes our creator, that every American child is born an heir, is born with a birthright,
Starting point is 00:44:21 born with the right to inherit the blessings of the greatest country on earth, not because of who their parents are, not because of what they look like or where they come from, but because they are Americans, and this is our country. And that birthright, ladies and gentlemen, is what this note. November is all about. Now, Charlie spoke to young men in particular. He was a young man himself, and he understood where they were coming from. He understood that there was no greater calling for a young man, and he would tell people
Starting point is 00:45:03 this, than falling in love, starting a family, and becoming a father. He would tell young men around the country that, ultimately, you wouldn't care what your job was or where you went to school, but you would care about your family. And of course, I thought a lot about those words, a lot about those words in the last year, but particularly a lot about those words over the last six weeks. Because as many of you know, in July, my beautiful Usha gave birth to a baby boy, little Alec, just six weeks ago. And I will say that you should have been there when the organizers of the midterm R&C
Starting point is 00:45:48 asked my wife who had a two-week-old baby and three other kids that are very very, young if she would come to Dallas, Texas to introduce her husband and she said, hell no, I got four kids to take care of. Relatable. But she sends her love and I know she's watching at home. Have I made any request for your wife to show up since he's not a child? That's why I'm not in Dallas right now. I had a kid to get a tooth pulled yesterday.
Starting point is 00:46:22 Family stuff keeps you out of Dallas. We haven't made any requests of Mrs. Iger at the boatwork. No, I'm just saying I understand the impulse. That was not a, it wasn't a backhand. thing about our shared right as Americans or frankly the lack thereof.
Starting point is 00:46:36 In Michigan, one Democrat in particular, one candidate has said, and I quote, F the nuclear family. Who said that? Are you on that? F. The nuclear family, what are you even talking about? These hateful words
Starting point is 00:46:54 what do you think goes into when J.D. will swear and when he will do the F thing. They come not the desire to serve you or our fellow Americans, but they come from a very deep emptiness in the soul. It is the nuclear family. I guess this is William Lawrence. It is inside of that nuclear family where I watch.
Starting point is 00:47:11 He's a goober. Old little girl, little Mira, beg. He would have named Abdul if ever had. To her new baby brother. It's inside of the nuclear family where Alex's older siblings just a couple of weeks ago witnessed the wonder of a new baby's very first smile. It's inside of that family where I've seen. Usha show in almost divine patience with those four kids. And so to the radicals who wish to abolish my family and the thousands and millions of other families all across our country,
Starting point is 00:47:50 we have a simple message for them. Stay the hell away from our kids. The funny thing is there is a specific group of people that would like to abolish families like J.D. Vance's. And they're all in the Republican base. It's a bunch of these complete white nationalist people who think he can't be trusted because his wife isn't white. They're the people he, they're the people who's votes he will need. That was correct. Will Lawrence who really, if the Democratic
Starting point is 00:48:14 establishment had to ship together. Now, because we've got a new kid around shouldn't have been nominated. He said fuck isolation and the nuclear family domicile. I don't know what that means. And I can't help but think about what it is that we're fighting for and what it is that we want for all of our children.
Starting point is 00:48:30 Now I, of course, I want my son to grow up healthy and strong. I want them to have access to clean water and real food. I want him to live in a country where you don't need a PhD in chemistry to understand the ingredient list in the grocery store. I want to live in a country where my son's doctors answer to parents and to the Hippocratic oath, not to a bunch of far-left bureaucrats. I want him to get a real education.
Starting point is 00:49:10 He's going to grow up and go to school. I want him to go to a school that teaches him to read, to write, that reaches him arithmetic that teaches him to love his country and his fellow citizens Is that what she's about loving all his fellow citizens? Is that a big and what all for my They do want to shrink the label of who gets to count as a citizen My job is everybody who's left though maybe What about the childless cat ladies? As if they were my own family as if they were my own kin
Starting point is 00:49:40 Kinn is kind of a weird and so I don't just want these things for my kids. I want them for your kids too. I want our daughters to compete on a fair field. Oh my God. Or no politician. Where no politician tells a little girl she's got to surrender, her trophy, her scholarship, or her locker room to a man. I want Lauren Egan to be able to lose fair and square to rally games without anybody else contaminating the pool. Okay. I want our sons to have a fair shot at a good job and I want that for our daughters too. I want whether they work in tech or manufacturing American businesses to hire American workers, to rely on American people and to ensure that we build the next generation of great American products with American hands.
Starting point is 00:50:40 I want our children to be safe, ladies and gentlemen. I want them to be safe on their streets, safe in their schools, living peacefully in neighborhoods where the law protects the innocent and throws the violent criminals in prison where they belong. I want them to be free to worship to the dictates of their own conscience. And I want our children to grow up in a country that doesn't roll its eyes at people who pray, but remembers that this country itself was an answer to prayer 250 years ago. Lots so far on what they've been doing. You know?
Starting point is 00:51:30 Yeah. Oh, hey. Why do things? And I think like most parents, I want my kids to do the most important thing. I want them to fall in love. I want them to find somebody who's worth building a life with. And I want them to be able to afford a home where they can raise their children in peace and prosperity and comfort. Maybe a polyamorous home or pansexual.
Starting point is 00:52:03 I want them to know the pride of saving up for something, of buying something big and real that they're proud of without being outbid by Wall Street tycoons. I want them to keep what they've earned when they work hard. And that is the birthright that I'm talking about. That is the country that Donald J. Trump is fighting every single day to defend and to build upon. The Democrats you talked to that were excited about Trump on the trail. How are they feeling about JD getting out there? Less enthusiasm. And while the president works every day to build upon that great nation.
Starting point is 00:52:41 I think he's a little bit, like he doesn't have it. I think they're a little bit more. right now to make sure that your children never see that birthright. There was some efforts to like highlight stuff he said in the past on abortion and all that kind of stuff, but that was more like in the lead up to 28. Yeah. I do know that he, he's campaigned for Roger Marshall, which is interesting, kind of Kansas really on the map. He's going there, I think, next week.
Starting point is 00:53:08 That was such a tell. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. Do we do? I don't see where he's going. against us. Where do we think this plays? So what? What the people at home missed? Johnson County. We just had a protester interrupting us and waving the Mexican flag. Well,
Starting point is 00:53:36 well, my friend, if you love Mexico so much, get your ass over there. I'll buy you the point. That's bad strategic protesting. We're just kind of our lefty friends here. A lot of, they're giving a lot to work with. I don't buy it. You can have an Epstein file flag. Oh, you think it's a False flag. It's the first time I've ever, ever, ever said that about anything. But a false flag. Why not? Why not?
Starting point is 00:54:04 Why not? Wait, we just, we just sunny. What is Sunny seeing in there? He'll get a report from Sunny. Hmm. Would Mexico have been the country that have gone with on a fake protester? Probably. A literal false flag.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Andrew is calling it. In real life. Could be, right? Right? I don't know. I'm not a zero percent chance. chance. I had, ladies and gentlemen.
Starting point is 00:54:31 Definitely more likely than the French legionnaires killing Charlie. But I think I got to change it because we just discovered the symbol of the far left an idiot waving an American flag or a Mexican flag at a protest when he should be waving the flag of the United States of America. I don't know. He did not land that one. He did not execute that. If this was planned, you think he would have been able to land the line.
Starting point is 00:54:58 Nah, he's just bad at it. The Mexican flag in the audience. Wow. Now, we all know. It's real protest, I'd say like an Epstein-Files flag next time or something. Canada. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Or in Cincinnati. Or in any one of our great cities, in Mexico. A sign that has the gas prices on it or something. But while we wave. the American flag and fight for the American dream, we have to remind ourselves tonight that the good life that is the foundation of this country's promise is not guaranteed. We have to remember that a safe home, a good school, a happy family, a future that is better than the past. Every generation of Americans has had to fight
Starting point is 00:55:53 for these things when it's our turn. He should have scrapped this part. Just stuck with fuck Mexico. Democrats are running candidates who will tell your children what they're allowed to say, how they're allowed to live, and importantly, who they ought to hate. Because that's what the Democrat Party is about in 2026. It's not about you. It's about foreign fraudsters, and it's about who they hate, and we got to send their asses packing in November. You wouldn't want to politics based on who you hate. That would be too bad. We got to send a message to this November. We've got to send a message this November that the country does not belong to the radicals.
Starting point is 00:56:43 It does not belong to the bureaucrats. It does not belong to the highest bidder. This country was handed down to us by our parents and their parents before them. We received this national birthright, and we are going to fight for it by elected Republicans this November. Can I respond real quick to something I saw in the chat? Because somebody said, I don't know if it's the feed or are the applause moments seeming forced to anyone else. I do think watching on our feed, you get worse applause audio than you would if you were on a different feed. Okay. Thank you. Fair and balanced. I think that is like it's a little bit like more compressed and the crowd noise suffers more than JD.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Thank you for that candor, Andrew. Nicholas still thinks he's a black hole of charisma. That's true still. My new contrarian technique is that I think that J.D. is better than people think. If you ever feel down about our country, ladies and gentlemen, just take a look at the beautiful. ladies right there's nothing for me I just think he's been pretty savvy at holding together a unruly MAGA coalition I'd like to know what you had to hear oh and Tucker both still like him don't take skills we got to take stock my friends not that good at this of what we've accomplished when we he does have negative risk I mean it's unbelievable that somebody has let him
Starting point is 00:58:11 me too. I'm sorry. I was going to say something yucky, but Andrew's here. I don't care of Lawrence. I don't care about saying in front of a woman, but Andrew, a twice a week church goer. I'm not going to do it. Wait, on the Slack channel. Can we please, we got to take care of business this November, then we'll worry about what comes next. When we came into office, when we came into office just 18 months ago, so many of our fellow Americans sensed that they've been robbed of their chance to build a good life. That's what I'm saying, solely. They worried they'd never be able to afford a home, a family, or a real stake in the
Starting point is 00:58:53 country that all of us love. Consider how life change for Americans coming of age during those terrible Biden years. Workers' wages fell by three grand. That's not exaggeration. Prices rose 20% across the board, the worst inflation in a generation. And I always love when we see. said this, the president and I would go during the campaign, we'd say, you know, inflation is as high as it's been in 100 years. And the fake news would say, no, no, no, it's as high as it's been in 68 years.
Starting point is 00:59:27 Whatever. I just lie for fun. Even when I know it's wrong. Joe Biden doubled. And Americans who are finishing schools suddenly found himself competing. I was also just thinking that. I was like, who advanced? 25 million illegal immigrants, not just for jobs, but for homes as well. Not a lot of wrinkles either.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Our nation became a place where you had to be rich to enjoy what used to be the birthright of every ordinary middle class life. It became a country where violent crime exploded unless, of course, you could afford private security. It wasn't just that things became more expensive. Why did he keep saying birthright? Is it a... Is it a dog whistle for the Israelis or a dog whistle for the Natcons? No, it's all a thing.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Yeah, more of a... More of a heritage America. Yeah, I mean, there's been a lot of controversy. I mean, they've been very famously trying to restrict down what... Who gets to count as a birthright citizen, you know, being born here to non-citizen parents. They've wanted to freeze them out of the definition. And having their friends, sign up. and pretend to have kids on the spectrum and that's millions of dollars that ordinary american
Starting point is 01:00:50 parents needed to help their special needs children but instead went to foreign kickbacks in spending sprees for fraudsters and what and what did the democrats question when the fraud they turned a blind eye to reach these catastrophic this also goes to my jd katrarian take i mean he kicked him all that from that debate. So you got to be... That's a good point. You got to be savvy. That might have been more of a personal problem on Tim Walzes.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Yeah, I mean, Tim Walz, like, did pretty bad. For homeless or expecting mothers in states like Minnesota and Wisconsin, that can't very good, strong debate. I could handle it pretty good. I'm not going to answer this question now. I get to them all. I don't decide it. I want to run them all around the track a little bit.
Starting point is 01:01:40 who noticed their fraud, racist for noticing that there were people stealing from our children and our new and expected mothers. The Democrat legacy of the last few years was that they bankrupted our country and left us poor. They left our country weaker. They left our border wide open and our communities less safe. Their record, my friend, speaks for itself. The bankrupted our country thing is.
Starting point is 01:02:07 So cynical. I mean, it's just everything he says is so cynical. Cynical. It's really just astonishing. But I don't know why it seems so much more intolerable coming out of his mouth than it does not in Trump. But it does. I mean, like, he seems like a guy who should know better than to say the things that he says. If we had a pie of the speech so far, it would be like, 50% God and family, 40% Biden terrible.
Starting point is 01:02:39 5% Charlie Kirk. Yeah, 10% of. advice he hopes one day to be able to give to Charlie Curtis's kid. It didn't seem like bad advice or bad, you know, but I don't understand really why it has to, why I'm not 100% percent. It's the most important electability argument in this exact moment. The Democrats being terrible thing. I just like, it's like breaking my brain.
Starting point is 01:03:03 Like, you guys are in fucking power. Like, what are you doing here? I watched a Fox the other morning and they had a pulse argument on how the Democrats were holding up. The Lindsey Graham Memorial Russian sanctions bill. And I'm like, Mike Johnson is in charge of the house. You guys are in charge. A few years ago, they killed all the books for root. The slaughter of innocent civilian Jews that we have seen in a generation.
Starting point is 01:03:28 In Lansing, in Lansing, you have Democrats who call for, quote, destroying the American way of life. You do? And in Texas, you have Democrats, grown men who seem to be pretty upset. with trans children. This is so gross, too. I got to say that president's very good at nicknames, but Talafrico maybe tops the list. You come up with that one? I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Come on. I think he'd call the Bui Herman. This Tala Rico guy, he will not shut up about how there are six genders. He will not shut up. Yeah, what's his name. Alfredi and Newman. Non-binary. I don't know what the hell that even means, my friends.
Starting point is 01:04:20 He won't shut up about having traditional Christian. values makes you a bigot. And I got to say a guy that age who is so obsessed and focused on transgender children, I don't know about you, but I never want to see that guy's web browser history. Okay. Yeah. You got them, J.D. James Seloireko wants to fuck trans kids. That's what's happening here. In Denver, Colorado, you have Democrats who say that 9-11 was inevitable. Just go for it. Just say it. Do you guys remember when Trump said that Ron DeSantis was a pedophile? did I. And in Michigan, it was a radicalizing moment for him. They're campaigning with radicals to explicitly say that America deserved the 9-11 attacks. These are candidates who when they're not
Starting point is 01:05:10 calling to repeal the Second Amendment. They will attack you as a literal white supremacist if you dare to criticize Sharia law. I guess, I guess we're not in a golden age. In the great state of New York, congressional Democrats tell us that the July 4th celebration, is really about deliberation of Palestine and Puerto Rico. I feel like as people are listening to this guy talk, they need to keep in mind this is the best. Thomas Jefferson right away. Every professional Republican is like,
Starting point is 01:05:40 God, I hope J.D. can unite this coalition when Trump shuffles off the stage because nobody, they don't think there's a single other person out there who even has a shot. These aren't weird. And he's not going to do it. He does not have the juice. He does not have the juice to do it. And I don't know what's going to happen,
Starting point is 01:05:56 but it's going to be crazy. Ask, my friends, for a one-way ticket to Washington to legislate and regulate and wield power over your lives. Instead, in my opinion, they need a one-way ticket to a mental hospital. Now, we're all having a good time as fellow Republicans celebrating what we've achieved and looking forward to accomplishing a lot more. But I know there are a lot of people who are watching on TV who aren't always sold, and I want to speak directly to them. not to the faithful, but to the people who are still making up their minds. Okay, here we go. The people on the margins.
Starting point is 01:06:42 The people who are still a little unsure who they're going to vote for. So people who love some of our policies, but maybe don't agree with others. Young men, many of whom felt inspired by Charlie Kirk, but are unhappy with some of what has happened in the wake of his death. And I want to speak directly to that group because I think Charlie is a great example of how to disagree but still participate in the work of saving this country. Charlie, ladies and gentlemen, was dedicated to this movement in this country. He loved, and I do mean love, the President of the United States.
Starting point is 01:07:27 But- That'd be some hot IV on Ivy action. So that we were in office before Charlie died. I talked to him a lot, almost every day. And Charlie was still a free thinker with his own principles and views. He did not always agree with us. let me just give you one example Charlie hated war
Starting point is 01:07:44 whether it was Europe or Africa the Middle East he didn't care he just hated war that was his view now of course there are people who love what we've done and people who don't I'm not here to litigate the disagreements between Charlie and some of the people that he
Starting point is 01:08:00 disagreed with but what I'm asking you to do is do what Charlie did do not throw the baby out with the bathwater don't don't give the country over to a bunch of crazy people because you happen to disagree with us on a policy issue here or there. Look, I'm not asking anybody to agree with me on every single issue. I'm not asking anybody to agree
Starting point is 01:08:29 on every single policy of the administration. What I am asking you to do is to recognize the contrast with the radicals and recognize the achievements of the last 18 months. We have done a lot, my friends, and we can do a lot more if we fight together. such as man i mean jd making the claim that posthumous charlie kirk would have been against the iran war during the midterm convention it's pretty striking donald trump's administration it's not just the first government in the last eight years know that the vice president and charlie kirk are both against the war in the last 80 years to reverse the border invasion under Under Donald Trump's leadership, we have seen the foreign-born share of our population drop by 3 million people.
Starting point is 01:09:35 That's illegal aliens that we sent back home. The country with negative population growth is usually a great sign of trust. Under Donald Trump's leadership, we created 1 million new jobs. And unlike the last administration where most of the job growth went to illegal aliens, 100% of the job growth in the United States of America is going to American citizens, which is exactly where it belongs. For my entire life, I saw corporations ship jobs overseas and be rewarded by Washington. Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime to crack down on people shipping our jobs overseas
Starting point is 01:10:20 and fight for American businesses and American workers for a change. We've seen the largest drop of violent crime in the history of the United States of America because we back the police and throw the bad guys in prison. It's not rocket science. We've ended taxes on Social Security. We've ended taxes on tips and we've ended taxes on overtime. We have banned corporate tycoons from buying up our housing stock. All right, Andy, that's all right, bro.
Starting point is 01:11:01 The simple belief that American homes ought to go to the American people. This is disastrous. The project runway finale is starting in one minute. It was cool how he mentioned the foreign housing thing. Trump was so ambivalent about the bill that did that, which was a bipartisan housing policy bill. He skipped the signing ceremony. They had it all set up so they could sign this bill
Starting point is 01:11:24 so that J.D. Vance could get on this stage right now and make that claim that they care about this issue. And Trump was like, I'm mad. This isn't the Save America Act. I'm not coming to the ceremony. I'm not signing the bill at all. It became law without his signature. That's just a...
Starting point is 01:11:37 I'm obviously biased, but I think that's a great record of achievement. But compare it to the Democrats who want to allow open borders, allow pharma companies to experiment on your... kids, they want to raise your taxes, and they want to abolish their family in their own words. We just want common sense, and we want you to have a better life. The contrast in this election, ladies and gentlemen, it's not about this out the party of common sense, beating the party of the crazies. Let's send these lunatics pack in and govern our country for the future. A few weeks back, I got to visit the steel mill. I love you all. A few weeks back, I'm concerned. I'm
Starting point is 01:12:48 confused though what's happening right now. I don't know if it's the jittering in the feet or what. I got to tell you, a very personal and important thing to me is a few weeks back, one of the most amazing honors I've had as vice president, is I got to visit the steel mill where my grandfather worked for 40 years in my hometown of Middletown, Ohio. And standing on that floor, I thought about my papal. That's what I called him. And in the 40 years he spent there as a union welder. I thought about what he wanted out of this. country, out of his government. He wanted happy, healthy families. He wanted low taxes. He wanted a government that would look out for him and make sure his people had good jobs so long as they were
Starting point is 01:13:37 willing to work hard and play by the rules. Simple stuff, easy stuff, common sense, good government stuff. And despite everything that's changed since he died, the things he wanted are the things that I want and I think the things that every American patriot wants for our country. We want it for ourselves. We want it for our families. We want it for our children. We want it for our fellow Americans. But right after that visit, something interesting happened. The man the Democrats are running for Senate in the great state of Michigan, his name is Abdul El-Sayed. He saw me describing what a decent man and my papal was genuinely a decent and good man. He saw me talking about my papal and his work and his history and what he loved and what he
Starting point is 01:14:31 cared about. And you know what old Abdul did? He asked mockingly whether I'd be willing to bring Usha back in time to meet Papal. This is what he thinks of my grandfather, a man I loved and who loved his family unconditionally. Abdul looks at him, sees the color of his skin, sees his background, decides that he could never have loved my wife. Now, the shocking thing, shocking thing is that Abdul himself was raised by his own white step grandparents. He knows exactly that kind of bond and what it looks like in a family. And he chose anyway to say that a man like my grandfather couldn't have loved from the bottom
Starting point is 01:15:16 of his heart someone who looks like Usha. Well, thanks be to God that my papal was a better man than Abdul El-Sayed, because I guarantee you he'd love my family every bit as much he did a good job of getting his dander up there go ahead the republican party of today the the the magabase of today has a problem with jd vans's wife it's not like a majority of the party but it's a significant subset of the especially online very online right they're white nationalists and they don't trust this man in particular because his wife isn't white or jfk help it's just like party of Bill Clinton. I'll say that's point. It's like a silly thing about his, about his grandpa,
Starting point is 01:15:59 whatever. It's a cheap shot that's designed to get under his skin, whatever. But like, the idea that he's like, that J.D. is out here just sort of like patting every Republican on the back and suggesting that there's no such thing as like real racism in this party. It is not. It does not survive contact with the actual reality of where the id of this party is right now in any way. It's completely out of step with that. It's whistling past the Graeme. Ladies and gentlemen, because the Democrats have become such a nightmare, my ears wouldn't take that care. We can never,
Starting point is 01:16:34 we will never let them win. We're going to beat him back in November. Shout out that donation in Canadian dollars. Over the border. What up, Canada. I'm sorry you're going to watch this shit and care about what we're doing. Remember that this November is so much more than red team, versus Blue Team. It's so much more than having good politicians in Washington. It's about sending a
Starting point is 01:17:00 message to the Democratic Party that if you send your crazies, we're going to send you packing. What do you think they would do with another majority? It's about fighting for our fellow citizens, for their dreams and for the inheritance of a great nation that all of us are going to leave behind. So I've got to ask my fellow Republicans, are we ready to do what we need to do in November? Say now. Every American, whether they've been here for 10 years or 10 minutes, deserves the sacred inheritance of the United States of America. Ladies and gentlemen, this November, let's give it to them. Let's fight for our people.
Starting point is 01:17:52 Let's send the Democrats packing. And let's never forget that America belongs to those who love it, not those who hate it. God bless you. And thank you for having me. That's right. I just can't get over that line of let's send the Democrats packing. It's like they are not Again, they are not in power
Starting point is 01:18:09 Where would you pack them to go? From where to where? Who's packing their bags and where are they going? Like, what the fuck? Yeah. Oh, that wasn't the end of the speech? I think he's not introduced Trump now. He's just poking it all in.
Starting point is 01:18:28 Yeah, yeah. That speech needs some work. I mean, there were a couple of, you got the crowd going a couple times with the false flag. A good. I've got to introduce the man who is going to introduce the greatest president. Oh, there's another guy?
Starting point is 01:18:42 Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming the great Lee Greenwood and the president of the United States. Oh, no. You got it. Thank you, Chris. Thank you. Andrew, I'd like for you to do an Acapella for us. To the hills of Tennessee.
Starting point is 01:19:07 I thought the Iran stuff was kind of artfully done. I tried to say that. I think I might have been muted. I don't know if I don't know if I came out. You were muted. You thought that was artfully done? Again, again, like I said at the top, not a lot of good options for JD to come out here and give this message. But kind of tying it into the whole, like, we all love Charlie, right? Charlie would want us to bury our disagreements over the policy issue that has grown to accidentally capsize the entire second year of this presidency. I know a lot of you are mad about that. But it is at bottom, just a policy agreement, a policy agreement. among friends, among good friends. Who is, Andrew?
Starting point is 01:19:44 I want to explore this idea that this is artful. Who is the person? What's up, Charlie? Who is the person that's like, you know, the ghost of Charlie Kirk would not want me to stay home in November over the Iran war. So I'm going to vote. It's the Tucker crowd, right? Isn't that person already voting? Not necessarily.
Starting point is 01:20:06 I mean, that's the problem. That's the problem. They have this new thing. It's not insignificant. It's not, again, it's not a majority of the party or anything, but it's a non-trivial number of people who have been in the MAGA coalition who are really mad. I know some of these people in my personal life, by the way, like who are genuinely incensed over the Iran war and just ready to just throw the MAGA hat in the trash and let this whole thing burn and move on to whatever comes next. And I think, like, they do actually, it does not bode well for their chances. but in terms of actually keeping the house or anything,
Starting point is 01:20:42 but in terms of limiting the damage, they do need to keep these people on side. Again, like the Tucker, Candace, Nick Fuentes group, it's not, these people do not have small audiences. There are a lot, a lot of Republican-leaning types out there who are just hopping mad about the Iran War to say nothing of everybody in the middle who just is incensed that prices have gone insane.
Starting point is 01:21:06 You think that they're going to be compelled by that, then? Just as like, well, I don't think any, I don't think. Yeah. That's our conversation earlier. It's just like he can say that and that's all well and good, but it's like you guys are in power. So why don't you do something about it? Like, I don't know. I just don't think that people are going to be that compelled by it's a pretty stunning
Starting point is 01:21:25 admission of defeat, I think. Totally. Like whether or not is potentially savvy, I think that is possible, I guess. It's up for debate. I'm open to that. It's like stunning. He doesn't even make it. He doesn't, and the speech, he doesn't make a case for the Arabs or the war, neither.
Starting point is 01:21:43 He doesn't make a positive case for either. The only time either comes up is when he invokes the ghost of Charlie Kirk, who he said would have been against their key foreign policy initiative. And Smith has said, you should vote for us anyway, because Charlie would have. He would have been, like, against. He sure would have, by the way. I mean, Charlie would. I mean, that's correct.
Starting point is 01:22:05 I feel like all this worse stuff It's just like too little too late I can see I don't know you know I just I don't think people are going to buy it I feel like that speech from him and that That what he just said there was more of like Laying the breadcrumbs from 2028 so he can go back and say see You know there's all this track record of me
Starting point is 01:22:24 Being skeptical of this It's almost you know like we just saw this play out with Harris and Biden He's going to have to figure out and navigate a similar situation But I think it's actually a much harder sort of dynamic to figure out. And this is something we never saw Kamala Harris, too, even before it seemed like there was a chance she was going to run. I mean, like she was far more tied to Biden, even than this.
Starting point is 01:22:48 That's true. All right. I don't know how much of this I can take, but we'll do a little. How long? I'm not promising. I'm getting nervous. They said if we did a midterm convention, nobody would show up. This place is packed.
Starting point is 01:23:01 It was packed last night. But even more important is the spirit. the spirit. I'm watching from backstage and I'm seeing spirit like we haven't seen in this country for a long time. Long time. But it came back. About a year and a half ago, we went through
Starting point is 01:23:25 four years of embarrassment, hurt, harm, sickness, filth. It was bad. But now it's good and it's going to soon be greater than ever before, or better than ever before. It's going to be something very special. And I'm going to be a little bit brief
Starting point is 01:23:47 because last night I spoke for two hours. Please, God. And I don't feel like going to be the same mystery again. I'm never been so reassured by something Trump said at a rally. So what I'm going to do tonight is a little bit different. We all love music, right? Oh, no. No, no, not this again.
Starting point is 01:24:07 on the stage at the end with our great opera star, Christopher Machio. Do you guys remember when he did this? He's going to sing America the beautiful, Nesoderma. And all I ask of you from the Phantom of the Opera, and we're going to have a good time listening to music because I'm getting a little bit tired of politics now. I can't believe we're running this one day. So I'll be brief.
Starting point is 01:24:35 I'll be. We won't be staying for music. Should I be brief or should I not be brief? Should I be brief? Unless the commenters, if the commenters want to hear fandom of the opera by some mid-opera-guy, we can leave it running. I look forward.
Starting point is 01:24:50 So you let us know in the chat. I'm going to leave. I guess I'll watch this for a little bit. Thank you very much. What a great country. What a great country we have. What a great country. I just want to thank everybody.
Starting point is 01:25:14 been so amazing. You know, maybe this is going to be happening at midterms again, and maybe not. We're going to find out, but based of this, I would say, we're going to be doing it a lot. Perhaps I'll be here. I'll be standing with you one of these days. But devastating is we don't have the music right. You are a very special. So we will not be able to stay together. So I look forward to the performance, and he's considered, as you know, really one of the most. brilliant since a very good friend of mine.
Starting point is 01:25:46 This is like a speech you would phone in for your victories. So we're going to have a lot of fun. The votes are already in. But less than two years ago, the American people gave us a mandate to Dallas to get eyeballs in this so they can make this case. And in 19 months, I'm really underwater in the polls. They're losing right now.
Starting point is 01:26:03 They need to change minds. And I think I deliver it on far more. I don't think that that's in the car. I think that they're going to dance. Joe Biden. And the music. And the round. radical left Democrats created the worst inflation in American history.
Starting point is 01:26:19 They gave us wide open borders with 25 million people pouring in from all over the globe. He could still talk for now. They turned our cities into scenes of death and misery, murder, poverty, and destruction, and made America a laughing sock. We were a laughing sock all over the world. But we- Well, you're president. Of America.
Starting point is 01:26:42 Bernal coffee. More than 20 euro. Keep me here. Golden age of America. Don't you want to know if Jude brings the Project Runway Crown back to New Orleans? Not back to. We delivered the largest tax cuts in American history. The largest regulation cuts in American history.
Starting point is 01:27:01 The largest investment in our military. In the history of our country. And made America the energy and military superpower of the world with the superpower of the world. I built almost 2,000 miles of wall and created the strongest, most secure border that America has ever seen. And it was just announced, you saw that, that we achieved the lowest level of violent crime in 125 years since the year, 1900. Somebody in the chat asks if Trump got hair plugs, no, if you had seen his interview on the runway coming down here today. his hair was flowing in the wind. I wish the news would report it.
Starting point is 01:27:57 I wish the fake media would report it, but they just don't want to do that with discounts of 60, 70, 80, and even 90% in many cases. We have cuts. You remember when I announced? I was the only one in 28 years that cut drug prices in my first term. One eighth of 1%, I was so proud of it, because nobody's ever done it from January to December.
Starting point is 01:28:21 And now we're cutting your prices by 50. 60, 70, 80, and a couple of cases, 90%. We went... We might end up doing that if we went from... We crashed the global economy at the energy crisis and that deflation. ...drug prices by far anywhere in the world to the lowest prescription drug prices anywhere in the world. And that alone should get us a big victory in our midterms that are coming up yet out.
Starting point is 01:28:54 out and vote please get out and vote the stock market has set 80 all-time record highs think of it in a short period of time 80 80 days we sit records and more Americans are working today than ever before your 401ks by the way are up 44,000 on average 44,000 dollars. I thought he was I thought we were going to get Khabarotti. That was such a tease. We turned out of here. Diversity, equity, and inclusion mandates all across the federal government. I'm just going to be honest.
Starting point is 01:29:34 I'm turning on YouTube TV. We banned transgender ideology and critical race theory in our schools. A multi-screening. And ended the transgender mutilization of our beautiful children. No more mutilization. I always just get the weirdest-looking orange as be in the store. We will not have men playing in women's sports. Let's go get like a funky-looking orange wine.
Starting point is 01:30:03 It looks like it has dunk on the bottom. That's what you want. And if the radical left Democrats and communists win this election, they're promising to confiscate your wealth, tax your Social Security, abolish no tax on tips, no tax on overtime. They're going to defund the police,
Starting point is 01:30:25 giving voting rights and welfare to 25 million illegal aliens, destroy Texas oil and gas, thereby doubling and tripling your taxes, have men playing in women's sports, transgender for everybody, the mutilization of your children, and set loose criminals to rob, rape, and kill. like we had just two years ago what we went through we went through hell we did we
Starting point is 01:30:57 Connie we were asking that earlier and they must have been vetting only women we will on the other hand provide a let's call it dividends I guess I guess are concerned about the hundred dollars for every adult citizen in our country and we can do that because our country has never done better we're taking in trillions of dollars. There's never been any country, not even close, that's come anywhere near. So it's five, we win $5,000 for every adult. We love our adults. It's about time we take care of our adults. We love our adults. We will make all Trump tax cut. We're going to take those beautiful tax cuts.
Starting point is 01:31:45 We're going to make them permanent because the Democrats want to end all those tax cuts. They want you to pay much higher taxes. I never got it. All my life, I've watched politicians say we will cut your tax, even if they didn't mean it to be honest with you. We will cut your taxes. We will cut your taxes. This is the only group I've ever seen.
Starting point is 01:32:03 They say, we are going to give you a major tax hike. But we will lend all payments to big health insurance companies and give you the money directly so that you can buy your own health care and have money left over for yourself. And we will make money. our very I purposely
Starting point is 01:32:28 tried getting it some presidents most presidents didn't try because they never had a shot most favored nation prescription drug discounts we're going to make it permanently that head fake toward we're just going to get the
Starting point is 01:32:42 opera guys up here that is among the most diabolical we don't want any more invasions of our country and with jd and everybody else we will win the war on fraud you know we've got billions and billions of dollars already in our coffers of money oh yeah and fraud it's going to be i would cast it right off to eric over a trillion dollars by the
Starting point is 01:33:12 time we're finished over a trillion dollars we will end and it started with this and we're going to end it no cash bail how about the no cash bail somebody kills somebody and they're out in the streets two hours later no cash bail we're gonna answer me too given for trade the Save America Act mandating voter ID and proof of citizenship a little late we have our great speaker of the house you guys I have an idea let's make it fun let's make it fun I haven't asked Sam Stein for approval about this get it done we're gonna do it you guys get to play rock paper scissors and whoever wins everybody comes to vote two of us. I think this is like really high state TV.
Starting point is 01:34:15 Hazard Pay, thank you for each. Everybody's like, and by the way, this is much more exciting than the speech. 10 packs that you got to do. Best out of three or just one. Rocking or scissors seems like a hard game to play over a zoom. Is it? Timing based game. It's a timing based game.
Starting point is 01:34:30 You want to do guess the number? I'll put a number behind my back and then whoever gets it. My people said, please don't say that. So I won't say it. It feels like a trick question. Okay. What do you want to do? I don't know. There's like thousands of people watching this.
Starting point is 01:34:43 I said, I don't like the way Ken dresses. You want to stay, is what you're saying. I don't know if I want to stay, though. Let's do a practice round. We'll do a practice round. Let's see if it would work. One, two, three. Shoot.
Starting point is 01:34:58 Yeah, it doesn't really work. Actually, on my screen, it works fine, but that's the problem. I don't really like the way Ken talks. Oh, okay. At least we're getting the Kint-Tax and shit talking. Please, sir, don't say it, sir. He's doing it again? So I'm not going to say it, but I'll tell you what I was thinking about, son.
Starting point is 01:35:15 Come back to his job. I don't really like the cut to it. I don't like it. But you know what I do like? He was the greatest attorney general in the history of taxes. He does not look that much worse than Donald Trump. I mean, he doesn't dress well. He helped us so much with the walls, with illegal immigration, with everything.
Starting point is 01:35:39 He was our greatest. Attorney General, and he deserves to go to the United States Senate. Here we go. Can I say this is like an interesting thing because every person in this audience was here last night. They've all heard him do this schick literally 24 hours ago. And yet they laugh at all the laugh line moments. They're like, I don't get it.
Starting point is 01:36:04 I don't get what it's like to like. I don't have to speak to me. It's just weird. Presumably the TV audience is fairly similar. Or is like, you know, it's just goes back to the whoever asked this question earlier tonight. Like, who is this for? What is the person? Some people should see the band play the same.
Starting point is 01:36:19 I'm not on the ticket. You got to do the biggest favor you've ever done. Here we go. You've got to do this for me. It's topical trivia. The closest without going over. He's on the ticket. Get to leave the live stream.
Starting point is 01:36:35 Is everybody ready? Are you agreeing to this? Important elections. It's a midterm. I'm sorry this is happening. How many Republicans in the Texas legislature voted to impeach Ken Paxton? No empty seats, the fake news. How many Republicans in the Texas house voted to impeach Ken Paxton? Andrew Ager, you go first.
Starting point is 01:37:03 I don't even know any members the Texas House. Do you know that, Lauren? It doesn't matter if you know, Andrew Eger. I was, no, I'm not trying to get a hint. I'm just wondering if you know, I'm going to guess, 20. 20. Lauren Egan, what is your guess?
Starting point is 01:37:18 Some fine journalists, that too many, to be honest with you. I'm going to go. When somebody gets up yesterday, a couple got up, two people, that's a disaster. With. Lauren, guess. 27.
Starting point is 01:37:35 She's going, prices, right. I thought you were 21. 60. 60. 60. Lauren. It's going to go. great night. Thank you for your insights. You get to go and have a glass of wine. No, I, you will absolutely
Starting point is 01:37:46 not go. None of you are going. I had to endure this last night for three hours. Why were you here? Because I've heard you say you're going to rock paper scissors. You're available. If you were available tonight, why was I'm going to go back here in the first place? I just got back from Little League. Practice. I don't know if they're available, but you cannot leave. We can't do rock paper scissors and leave. My wife can't even go to bed until I'm done here. I will judge. I'm in my bedroom right now. I will judge.
Starting point is 01:38:19 I just wanted to be clear. I'm going to leave now. Have fun, guys. You're going to judge. Everyone can be. That was rude. This is the same speech I endured. I love that he started.
Starting point is 01:38:31 Like, I'm just going to be briefed. He's got a taste. A little taste of that speech. Yeah, you really see why you have some thoughts. I don't have many thoughts. I'm just enjoying. I'm enjoying watching you guys, you know, volley back and forth. You're great.
Starting point is 01:38:45 And I just want you to continue doing it for the people, for the people. Have fun guys. Love you. Love you guys. I feel like Sam holds it against us, Lauren, that, that Tan brought that up in the first place. I just trying to throw us the bone. I don't like that. I know.
Starting point is 01:39:00 Fuck Sam. Get out of here. Who cares? Like, he's been tweeting this whole time. Thank you. Thank you, Ben, Saster. The last sign.
Starting point is 01:39:12 Okay, whatever. Be a leader. Be a servant leader, Sam. We had a useful comment. There's a comment. I lost it, though, so I can't put it on the screen. So I say this all that telling people that rather than donate to us, they should donate to the Democrats or they should donate to the Haitians that was working in Springfield.
Starting point is 01:39:31 You should do all of those things. You should do anything that your soul speaks to you. But I put together. a list. But that is impressive. I'm actually just going to give for us. I don't know how to have. You know, the rich people have those things locked off.
Starting point is 01:39:46 I don't know how all you people got into those boxes. But if the Democrats get in, they'll destroy everything that we built. They'll ruin our country. So on election day, November 3rd, you got to do me a favor. You got to get out and vote. And you're going to pretend them on the ballot because in a way I am on the ballot. Because. You know where you are.
Starting point is 01:40:08 If they get in, they're going to take away. all of the things that we got and we can't let that happen in many cases look they don't want to give you voter ID why because they want to cheat they don't want to give you proof of citizenship why they say well it's a very complicated process they have more lines as to what we want voter ID we want proof of citizenship we want honesty in our elections we want honesty in our country So really big honesty. Tim, I'm your gay. I'm your gay.
Starting point is 01:40:46 I'm your damn local politics hype. How about you're drinking Dayton? What up, Sincessie Sean. Thank you. Come on down. In the history of the United States. This is creepy.
Starting point is 01:41:00 That loves us so much. He can't even breathe. With my family, my friends, I'll do it anyway. I don't care if I'm registered or not. I'm going to try and cheat like hell like they do. They never, there's never been bigger.
Starting point is 01:41:20 Did they do this last night? I did not see this. I am going to go out and I was going to get my friends, my family here. And we are going to vote on November 3rd or we are going to vote before that. A lot of people who are trying. Right? My article was called the Democrats who can win in Red America. Here's the way you're, okay.
Starting point is 01:41:42 Are you ready? Look, front row Joe's, are you ready? The great, oh, look at them. The great ladies of North Carolina is about number 300 rally. I don't know how to hell they do it. They are beautiful. Okay, are you ready to finish the pledge? So we swear that on November 3rd, we are going to go out and vote.
Starting point is 01:42:13 And you know what? He doesn't do a lot of call and response. But I don't think there's one person in this room this time. He's not really good at that. No. So I don't have to preface. I don't want to waste the words. Vote in Republican.
Starting point is 01:42:27 Just go out. If you vote, you vote in Republican. Okay. It's giving cold. So help me God. God again. Now, that is for sure going in Democratic ads.
Starting point is 01:42:47 You know what happens if you don't vote. You go to hell. People don't want to help. Support those Democrats. The Democrats who can win in Red America. You go to help. So please go and. vote. Brian Poindex I put on there. We will defeat the Communists. We will reject.
Starting point is 01:43:07 That cut to Carolyn was pretty good there. You know, you remember Elise DeFonic? Really Stefanik. She got totally cucked and now is, I don't know, trying to make money or something. She has no job. She sold her, sold to Trump. Cool guy, Blake, Jen to be in front against her. We will defeat the Communists. We will reject. We are. We need a least to be replaced by a Democrat. They will reject these radicalists. We will demolish the extremists. Fanatics, lunatics, and criminals who want to destroy our country.
Starting point is 01:43:43 They want to destroy the country. John Carpenter reports the Rams just had a goal line turnover. Remember at the state of the union? They wouldn't clap for people. The 104-year-old man got the Congressional Medal of Honor, the great helicopter pilot, who's phenomenal. He was phenomenal. And I will tell you,
Starting point is 01:44:00 He took that chopper down, and we took out Maduro with a fort loaded up with soldiers. It took 25 minutes, and we took over the oil of Venezuela, 65 billion barrels of oil. I mean, I'll say this about Trump. At least he's talking about what he's done. Remember, we talked about the pilot, that handsome guy, he stood up. It's hard to stop Trump from talking about what he's done. That really is still suffering greatly with that leg. Very greatly.
Starting point is 01:44:32 He was shot, but it didn't stop him. He landed that chopper perfectly exactly in the spot. And if he didn't, we would have had a big problem. And as you probably heard, he lost the leg. That beautiful guy lost his leg. And these Democrats wouldn't applaud. They're sick. There's something wrong with him.
Starting point is 01:44:51 There's something wrong with him. They wouldn't applaud. We gave him that day we gave him the congressional, Medal of honor and they wouldn't applaud. There's something wrong with them. You guys remember when Sam showed up a minute ago and just told Lauren when I started this whole beautiful journey. It's a journey and we did it together.
Starting point is 01:45:12 I didn't think you did it. You're just waiting for somebody to say the words because it's common sense. You could call it. Lauren one, we want strong borders. We want great education. We want a tremendous. We built the strongest military in the world.
Starting point is 01:45:25 We had to use it a little more than I talk. We cannot let Iran have a new. nuclear weapon and they will never have a nuclear weapon. Neither of us really covered ourselves in honor. We were in that close. You were both in double digits. I knew it was a lot of them. I just didn't know what size of a body we're talking. That's just this big state.
Starting point is 01:45:43 Jordan was it though. That's true. Arcuspaw. Yeah, I know. What was I thinking? Little theme. I came up with this little. I lost my YouTube TV second screen. What's it like trying to watch reality TV on mute? Is that like fun for you? I've got those captioning on.
Starting point is 01:45:59 Making America far greater than anybody in this room thought would be by thinking. My multi-tasking skills are elites. Okay, I've got a few elite skills. Three trillion many years ago by a totally different country, $22 trillion. It's never happened before. So I just want to say we will make America great again. We will make it greater than ever before. And now that's enough of politics.
Starting point is 01:46:25 I've been doing this now for seven days straight. I want a little music if you don't mind enough with the politics. It feels really old right there. So ladies and gentlemen, I don't know what a vocal act. One of the greatest talents, one of the greatest officers. All right.
Starting point is 01:46:41 Let's meet this. This is enough. We're going to do one more thing because there have been some feedback. Luciano. And I was mad enough. And I take that feedback personally because I picked the J.D. Vance Knight for myself because I wanted to be madder. Like the Trump thing sometimes.
Starting point is 01:46:58 You know, just sucks the life I mean. But, J.D., I hate. Sam really is not being the dictator boss allegation. Thank you, Stephen. Sam gets too much shit on this front most of the time, but tonight, man, I don't know. I don't think he does. I mean, I'm happy it's him, not me, I guess is the only thing I'm going to say, because that was just not my strengths.
Starting point is 01:47:17 But I was mad about one thing all night. And so I just think we should watch it again, and we can just yell about it for one second. So let's watch J.D. Vance. I think the two key parts of his keynote. First, Charlie Kirk would not have been in favor of the Iran War, and that's okay. And then James Tolerico wants to have sex with trans children. Let's watch both of this. Say, a guy that age who is so obsessed and focused on transgender children, I don't know about you, but I never want to see that guy's web browser history.
Starting point is 01:47:54 It's not a good place. We'd rather be here. Charlie was still a free thinker with his own principles and views. He did not always agree with us. Let me just give you one example. Charlie hated war. Whether it was Europe or Africa, the Middle East, he didn't care. He just hated war.
Starting point is 01:48:19 That was his view. Now, of course, there are people who love what we've done. I'm not here to litigate the disagreements between Charlie. and some of the people that he disagreed with. But what I'm asking you to do is do what Charlie did. Do not throw the baby out with the bathwater. Don't give the country over to a bunch of crazy people because you happen to disagree with us on a policy issue here or there.
Starting point is 01:48:52 Look, I'm not asking anybody to agree with me on every single issue. We can shut this down. I can't do any more, JD. The thing is, see, just a little rule of thumb. Like the JD fans fucks couch joke Not that great Like it's not wasn't as I didn't find it as funny as everybody else But it's kind of funny because it's a little like
Starting point is 01:49:12 It's a little silly right It was a little like the origin story was like somebody Pretended like he admitted that he fucked couches in his book And put a fake passage in there It's not really harming anything Nobody to my knowledge Actually does fuck between the couch cushions So like it's not it's kind of like a no harm
Starting point is 01:49:32 No foul silly little bit joke. Going up there and being like, because James Telerico expresses that he cares about the plight of trans children and how challenging it is to be a trans children, that makes me, that he showed empathy for trans children, makes me J.D. Vance think that he wants to fuck them. And that is not a funny joke or a silly joke. It is really mean, and it says a lot about J.D. and it also says a lot about JD that he's a little bit of a wuss that he like he walks like right up to it you know it's like he doesn't have the balls to say to say James Talarico fucks trans kids he doesn't have the balls to say that so he's like I want to imply it in everything
Starting point is 01:50:14 possible including my little smirk that I give you and and I don't like that one bit and J.D. Vance sucks so that's that's my closing note for the for the live stream. Does anybody have anything else they want to share or can I go watch Jude? Get no to hand on. Thank you, guys. Let's get out of here before Sam comes back on. Everybody, subscribe with the feed. Borg.com slash events.
