Starting point is 00:00:01 Hey, did you hear? Watermelon is back at booster juice all summer long. Nice. I love the watermelon explosion. And the watermelon wave. Yep. They even got a new watermelon assaye bowl this year. The one in a melon bowl. And what does that sound like? Like that. Booster juice. Canadian born. Blending since 1999. Hey guys. Brendan Hartnett, Rapid Response Editor here at the Bullwork. Welcome back to Bork Takes.
Starting point is 00:00:34 I'm joined by Will Summer, author of our False Flag newsletter, and he's out with a doozy of a piece today titled Right Wing Media and OnlyFans are in a symbiotic relationship. Will, great piece. Tell us about the piece. Thank you. Yeah, this is a trip into a sordid world, a world where sex sells. Okay, so this is a story mostly about a woman named Savannah Cannon. And, you know, I suspect that may not be her real name. But, you know, she's a lovely young lady.
Starting point is 00:01:01 and she has caused quite a stir on the right over the past week. She's someone who is pumping out short form video content, very stuff that would not be out of place at the Daily Wire, turning point USA. Like she kind of shows a video and she's like it's like an immigrant or a trans person, you know, acting in a crazy way. And she goes, these people are, these liberals are out of control.
Starting point is 00:01:22 But what's unique about her and what has agitated a lot of other women on the right is that she is sitting in an unusual way. a way that seems perhaps designed to provoke more than a political reaction. Let's play that clip. It blows my mind. She is the opposite of everything that we stand for in this country. And she literally married her brother. We do not marry our brothers here.
Starting point is 00:01:46 So she has her leg. She's kind of reclining in a chair. And she has her legs kind of posted up next to her. And she's wearing thin yoga pants. You know, for those who are just listening, you know, it's really outlining, let's say like her entire body and then perhaps the lower region in particular. And this is something that if you look at her videos, this woman has nearly 300,000 followers on Instagram on her politics account.
Starting point is 00:02:12 And I mean, this is something if you look at her videos, this is she's doing all the time. She's like hiking up the pants. So Brendan, you know, I suspect that there might be something else going on here. Yeah. So how did you come across her? Because I will say this week, I've been seeing a bunch of her videos in my timeline as somebody who follows a lot of groipers.
Starting point is 00:02:30 I'm sure you have been seeing her in your timeline with your elgo. Yeah, so why is she significant? Like, why does it matter that this woman is out here giving hot takes while showing off her crotch? Yeah, so what's going on here is, let's just establish this. She's an only fans model, and she's trying to get subscribers by hook or by crook to sign up to see, you know, sexy pictures of her and pay for them on Onlyfans. Now, what we're seeing is she recognizes right-wing media as a good client funnel, customer funnel. And so she tried other stuff. Oh, here's me being sexy at the gym.
Starting point is 00:03:04 I did okay. You know, whatever. But her big hit has been, I just need to sort of pose as a conservative talking hit. Maybe these are really her politics. But, you know, it kind of looks like she has a podcast and stuff. As far as I can tell, that's not real. It's basically like it has the trappings of a conservative media woman. But instead, it's just like, by the way, you know, once you kind of dig enough into my link tree, you're going to find my only fans.
Starting point is 00:03:29 And the reason this is relevant is because this came across my feed when Lauren Witsky, who's sort of a far right woman, she was actually a Delaware Senate candidate. She was a Republican nominee in Delaware a few years back. She's kind of affiliate with like Milo Ewanopolis. So she's like kind of coming from that world. She's like, I guess it's like kind of Nick Fuentes adjacent. But basically she was, I, Savannah Cannon had some kind of like pro-Israel or like, anti-Muslim comments. And Lauren was like, look at these kind of traditional or these kind of conservative establishment media women. You know, these are tramps essentially. You can see,
Starting point is 00:04:02 you know, look at how she puts her legs up. And so this sort of started a whole debate on the right about, you know, the place of sex appeal in political commentary. Are all these right-wing boomer men just simps being preyed on by Savannah Cannon and her ilk conversations like this? And I should say for those watching at home, it's not just her crotch and butt crack that's in the video. She is also showing her feet, and we have the bulwark do not kinkshamed. So I know there's some people who are into that. But it's a really interesting strategy. Has it proven successful at driving subs to her only fans? You know, her sub count isn't public. And, you know, I'll give you an example, Brendan, of how innocent my mind is. The first thing I noticed was the bare feet was I was like,
Starting point is 00:04:45 oh, she's doing like, you know, because you'll see, you know, social media influencers will sometimes block out their feet in pictures to like keep the ward away the sickos or you know or whatever uh but the um in this case and then i thought oh my goodness and there's even more going on here what's with these legs why are why are she crouching in this particular way um it's you know in a way i think it's uh i feel like sort of like i'm taking you down to the peep show and we're reviewing it or whatever and it's like what's the point of this but i think it illustrates it points to something larger which is there is this relationship between conservative media and i which is to say That there is often this these are men who hate women who talk about women in awful ways who say that women should be
Starting point is 00:05:26 You know at best at home raising children have no other role in society and yet and they hate only fans You have to understand they really these young Gen Z creators they see only fans is not just like a day class a operation or whatever But like something that is like a scourge upon society because they believe it basically has turned every woman they would normally be dating them, has turned them into like a trollup who's on only fans and has just so warped the market that, you know, this is like goes into hypergamy, the idea that the top 20% of men are taking 80% of the women, all this stuff. And so they hate only fans. And yet, all of these Manosphere dating podcasts rely on OnlyFans women because they need like the hot ladies to come in so they can say, what's your body count? And so I get into that a little in the piece as well. So you mentioned she had pro-Israel comments, which I feel like is pretty rare,
Starting point is 00:06:19 for most new right influencers. Where does she fit in the current MAGA media ecosystem amid this current civil war that's dividing them? Yeah, you know, this is something that's always interesting is when people who are like Gen Z or Gen Alpha really come out and are like trashing Muslims and are very pro-Israel. And I think it gives because we're seeing on the right
Starting point is 00:06:42 even increasing kind of antipathy towards Israel among young people, it kind of makes you seem AstroTurf like right out of the gate. And I think that's partially what it would attracted people to this controversy and made them think, like, what's, what's going on here with this figure? You know, we saw this also with Matt Nuclear, who was this, like, 19-year-old Ben Shapiro hired who was going to be, like, his, you know, pro-Israel gladiator and, you know, pretty quickly got owned by the Groyper's. So I guess my point is her politics are very kind of like mainline Fox News. It's just she's doing this, like, crazy pose as well. You know, let's play another video here and kind of get a glimpse into what we're, what we're talking about Ivy a lot. 70% of all Pakistanis are inbred. Half of everybody living in the Arab world is inbred.
Starting point is 00:07:25 They marry their first cousins and are the reason for all of these disorders and children at the highest rate ever. It's sickening. What a nice lady. So the other aspect here that I think is interesting is this has created a lot of commentary among the, you know, conservative pundit class. And so I'd like to play a video from Stephen Crowder. Now, Stephen Crowder, folks, he was once a child actor. He played the voice of of one of Arthur the Ardvark's friends on that show. And since then, his dreams have gone sour, and he's become a conservative podcast guy. And let's say he's no friend to womankind. Famously, there's a video of him berating his wife,
Starting point is 00:08:03 his then-wife, who was pregnant with twins, just screaming at her and all this awful stuff. And so he kind of weighs in on this. So let's get his perspective. Not like that, said all the other conservative female commentator selling sex appeal. Look, it's not lost on me that this person is using it to sell only fans. Probably an AI script. Go in. Talentless. There's nothing being contributed. Right. There's nothing of value. I get it. So, you know, what he's saying there is like, there's this long history of kind of like
Starting point is 00:08:35 hot babes, you know, succeeding. He then goes on to show a bunch of pictures of Fox News women and who are wearing when they were wearing bikinis or whatever. A little, a bit of a purvey guy himself, to be honest with you. But the, that is sort of how this is all landing. And it, it, And I think the Savannah Cannon thing, while I realize people may think it's a bit lurid, it shows sort of the apotheosis of this kind of mix of sex and concerted punistry. This message is brought to you by Function Health. So August is National Wellness Month. You may not have known that.
Starting point is 00:09:07 I hadn't known that, but it is. Most health trends just mean buying random gadgets and guessing what actually works. I wanted to stop guessing and actually look at the data behind my body. Your daily resilience leaves a clear data trail in your blood and function tracks the exact markers behind your energy and your immunity. Not a generic overview, they look at your core biomarkers like your white blood cell count, which maps your frontline defense against invaders, and vitamin D and zinc, which are essential immune anchors. Plus, secondary metrics, they cross-reference like MMA for your active B-12 levels and cortisol,
Starting point is 00:09:41 which can share how stress is actually impacting your body. I just set up my appointment for my test through function, and I can't wait. wait to see the results. The best part is, once the results come in, I can see them all on the function platform and get better guidance for my health. God knows I need it. Very busy, but function helps me with all that. Check your health the way I do. Function provides 160 plus lab tests for one dollar day and member pricing on advanced imaging. I mean, obviously, you have candidates like James Fishback in Florida running on a
Starting point is 00:10:20 proposal to tax only fan bottles in the state 50% of their income. How can that be happening on one hand? And at the same time, we're, you know, doing real cameltoe style videos for TikTok. Yeah, I mean, there is this, the, the, the, the sexual aspect here is very intense. So the, you know, you mentioned, so James Fishback, he really got his first, you know, real attention nationally when he proposed attacks on 50% of Only Fan creators' incomes in the state of Florida were he to become governor. And this set off Sophie Rain, who I think is like one of the most prominent OnlyFans models. And they began this kind of mutually beneficial, uh, K-Fabe fight, you know, where she's saying,
Starting point is 00:11:05 uh, you know, James, you know, you're probably subscribed to me or whatever. And he goes, oh, young lady, you know, and then they go on Pierce Morgan and they fight about it, whatever. And she gets attention. he gets attention. Similarly, Nick Fuentes, this is interesting to me. He will just, this is a guy, white nationalist, should be talking about politics, one would imagine. And then he'll just go on a show, ooh, you know, Sophie Rain was looking so hot as some fashion show she did. You know, you guys are, you know, he said, fuck the goyam. If you guys can't see how hot she is and all this. And then she said,
Starting point is 00:11:34 oh, thanks, Nick, am I a great pet or whatever? And so there's this weird, you know, it almost makes you wonder if there's some kind of paid, like promotional scheme going on. here. But you can see that there's this there's a symbiosis here where these people can get like heated up about the only fans models and ooh they're so sexy and we can't control them and blah blah blah blah and then obviously the only fans women are
Starting point is 00:11:55 being exposed to this audience that has a lot of time to sit on their computers and you know look at content right and so you can see why they would see this as a rich field to plum. Yeah I was struck in your piece. I'm starting to wonder if Nick Fuentes is getting just a little too horny to still be in and so
Starting point is 00:12:13 because it seems like he's, you know, enjoying some content. Well, you know, one might also see it as a bit performative, right? Like, you know, obviously, Nick Fuentes has sort of been, you know, dog for a while about his interest in catboys and hunky men like clavicular, all this stuff. And then for him to say, like, whoa, waza, woo, you know, like, too, too. Like, what a lady, you know, what wonders. You know, but Dick Fuentes, and this also ties it to an aspect of concert with me to have I'm going to fascinated by, which is the dating podcasts.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Now, Brendan, do you tune into these shows, whatever, fresh and fit? I'll listen to Fresh and Fit occasionally, although it's a bit of a struggle to sit there. You're tuning into Womanizer Wednesday and Money Monday. So for folks who aren't familiar with this, thankfully, these are these shows that you may see on short form social media. They're really made for it. They bring in whatever's in L.A. and Fresh and Fit isn't Miami. and they bring in, it's like two or three concerted men. Sometimes they'll have like Michael Knowles from the Daily Wire, Nick Fuentes,
Starting point is 00:13:16 Candace Owens has been on. And then they bring in like a dozen scancely clad. I would say women who are often not very prepared for a debate, many of whom were only fans models. And then they kind of say, like, well, what would you rate yourself? And then the girl says, I'm an eight. And then the host goes, you're an eight. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:13:33 You're a five. You know, it's crazy the last time about their body count, as I mentioned. And then you say, why would a woman subject herself? to this. What an awful environment to be in. Because sometimes they're like, get out of here, you know, whatever. The answer is, because often they're promoting their only fans pages. And so you have this, these shows, they rely on attractive young women, getting on, getting yelled at.
Starting point is 00:13:56 And often in the case, certainly in both of these cases, these guys, you would think the guys running these shows are like, you know, like Baptist preachers, the way they react to women, you know, like wearing low-con shirts or something. And they're like, how dare you show up like this or whatever? But they're profiting off of it, obviously. You know, the fresh and fit guys, they got asked about this by a fan who said, you guys are telling us to watch out for it. They call women 304s, which is like code for ho, I guess.
Starting point is 00:14:24 And I think if you type it into a calculator and turn it upside down. And so they're like, you bring on all those 304s and you're telling us to be strong men, staying out of the club or whatever. And they're like, look, like we got to, you know, they said sex sells. We got to get some hot ladies in here. And then, and then from there, we're really going to reform, you know, these these simps, which, which I'm sure is really what's happening here. Yeah, no, I mean, that makes total sense. It's, you know, an undeniable fact that
Starting point is 00:14:49 sex sells. And I think the right has been pretty good at leaning into that. I look back to, like, Megan Kelly's days on Fox News and, you know, the clear glass table that she sat behind famously on the five. There's a seat known as the leg chair where your, where a woman's leg in a dress are more visible. So it definitely seems like something that the right has really run with and probably to some real success. I guess I'm starting to wonder if liberals and liberal leaning podcasts and media should start doing that.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I mean, obviously, Will, our sex appeal has really driven the bulwarks explosion and growth. But I guess it feels like this is not happening as commonly on the left. I don't know. Is this an area that liberals should be tapping into more, do you think? You know, it's interesting. This is what I love, Brendan. You always come up with these bold ideas. It's one that I think is complex.
Starting point is 00:15:48 It's, you know, I imagine these liberal dating podcasts if you had in, you know, a liberal man and, you know, eight women. And what's your body counter? That's awesome. You know, or whatever. It's, but for whatever reason, I do think it's just very interesting here that Savannah Cannon, who I think everything else aside seems to be very savvy. operator, an apex predator in this conservative media ecosystem. She has recognized, you know, that this is a way to just really easily you can kind of come in and dominate this with some very, I should say, very crass, not especially subtle moves.
Starting point is 00:16:21 These commenters will be like, why are you like constantly hiking up your pants? I've never seen someone sit like this before. And she said, yeah, I'm trying to get straight men to watch, buddy. So, you know, that's sometimes it's as simple as that. Well, at least she's honest about it. Well, Will, it was a great chat with you about this. Thank you again for enlightening us on this incredible world of sex forward maga pundits. Everybody, thank you for watching and listening.
