Starting point is 00:00:00 Excuse me. Actually, scratch that. Canadians are too nice. We're even nice to AI. Please, can you look this up? Sorry, I want this document. All of those extra words are costing a lot of energy. I'm having a break from all that. Kit Kat, which has a factory in Canada,
Starting point is 00:00:19 is asking Canadians to be more mindful with our manners. And have a break from AI politeness. Because as it turns out, it just isn't worth the energy. Hey, everybody, Tim Miller from the Bullwark here. Some rumors about Trump's health going around this weekend. And I guess we can confirm that he is alive and with us for a couple of reasons. One, we saw some pictures of him with his granddaughter going to golf today. I'll give to that in a second.
Starting point is 00:00:46 But also he sent a deranged truth where he was caroning and only the way that Donald Trump could care in about, I guess, the work that was done on the Rose Garden. the abomination that they have inflicted upon the outside of the White House, replacing the Rose Garden with the patio from an all-ball pan. I want to just going to go over what he's posting about. And for those you have been blissfully unaware of what I'm referring to with these kind of rumors about his health, I want to talk to you about that a little bit.
Starting point is 00:01:19 So I guess we just give that backstory. And I should, I think this is important to note because was it on, I believe it was on this Wednesday? no it was with me and sam it was earlier this week i um was commenting about how trump has demonstrated really kind of remarkable stamina for somebody that's 80 you like you don't see me complimenting don't trump very much but um you know i got some pushback from the comments saying like oh how hard is it to just lie out of your mouth hole for hours a day it's like kind of hard to allow out of your mouth hole for hours a day i you know to have the focus of you know
Starting point is 00:01:57 doing a three hour whatever they want to call that cabinet meeting multiple press avails taking questions sure he sounds stupid half the time when he's answering the questions but like you know he's getting information in you know he's giving anecdotes
Starting point is 00:02:13 about things and talking about things that show that like you know Donald Trump is the apprentice had of the apprentices didn't fucking know his ass from his elbow when it came to Washington like he there was there was just an unbelievable amount of stuff that he didn't know. And so, you know, when you hear him talking about what they're working
Starting point is 00:02:32 at, you can tell he's getting briefed, too, in addition to the fact that he's just performing. And, you know, I'm a, I'm a content performer now, right? This isn't the coal mines, you know. I'm not a, I'm not a house builder. I'm not a bricklayer. I get it. But like, you get tired. Like the focus, having to focus for that many hours and talk is tiring, especially for somebody who is elderly, extremely elderly in the case of Donald Trump. And so I noted that he had had a kind of surprising amount of stamina for somebody his age, being out talking and not like, you know, doing the thing that you see and starting to doze off.
Starting point is 00:03:14 You know, we've seen Trump do it. Obviously, you've seen people do it. The head nods, it happens. We haven't seen that. So it's noteworthy that, like right on the heels of that where I was like, it's kind of surprising how much he's out old people need rest shouldn't he be getting some rest and um you know he's sending deranged bleats all night long and uh here we are basically since that comment that i made he hasn't been seen he does the you know he did i believe it was three press veils in one
Starting point is 00:03:48 day on monday this week three different events where he was the press is assembled he's on camera And then Tuesday, they have the thing we've been talking about all week, the death of Stalin stuff, where you have his assembled cabinet talking to him about how he's going to win the noble. That went on for three hours, 10 minutes, I think. So that was Tuesday. And nobody saw him again until this morning, Saturday morning, where he's walking out with his granddaughter to go to the National Golf course out in Virginia. Yeah. You know, we got a couple of pictures here. It's hard to really tell for that pictures. You know, you're not a doctor, but he looks frail. He looks feeble to me. He looks feeble. It does not look like somebody that has a skip and his step heading out to the golf course.
Starting point is 00:04:38 We'll say that. That's just based on those two pictures. But for a guy who has been on camera all the time, it's been part of their strategy that, you know, we discussed with Susan Glasser on Tuesday. day. The first presidency was a lot of Trump watching TV and then commenting about it. This time it's like he is the TV show. It's the Truman Show presidency. For that to just stop middle of the week with plenty of things happening that he could be talking about. I mean, obviously internationally, there's Israel, Gaza, you have Russia and Ukraine. You have this tariff ruling this week where a circuit court essentially said that some of the tariffs he's put before is unconstitutional and that's being challenged. Fed stuff, firing of Lisa Cook, threats of a power. Like, there's so much having. There's plenty of reason for him to be visible, and he hasn't been. And, you know, that's noteworthy. And you saw this spiral on social media, a lot of death commentary. I'm not out here saying that he's dying. Just saying that it shouldn't be surprising that a frail elderly man who has a really bad diet would have a crash.
Starting point is 00:05:49 after working so hard. You know who predicted that that would happen? Alex Jones, like two weeks ago, you know, broken clocks and all that. Alex Jones said essentially this, like Trump's working too hard. And, you know, some viewers are you and I think, oh, does he really work that art?
Starting point is 00:06:05 You know, I mean, he is out there a lot, okay? Is he what that means, you know, et cetera. He is, he's, you know, talking, performing, on his feet, doing things, traveling, decent amount of travel. And for somebody his age, it's just, it's a lot. People need rest. Old people need rest.
Starting point is 00:06:25 And it seems to me that what we're seeing is a guy that hit a wall. And maybe that stamina that he's showing doesn't have it anymore. So we'll see how it turns out. We'll see what happens the rest of the weekend. Obviously, people are getting a lot of laughs over this. And it's due, given how much Donald Trump has mocked. smeared other people about their, you know, aging and health issues. You know, it's good for the goose is good for the gander. Um, but it's possible we're seeing a president that's
Starting point is 00:06:57 hitting a wall, um, from, from a, from a health and energy standpoint. I don't, we'll see. Um, but it's not nothing. I'll tell you this. I'm not over here telling you, oh, that end is near. He's going to die. These are the final days. It is noteworthy and funny that the hand bruises he had like look quite similar to the hand where it was the queen had her before she died but i'm not a doctor not saying the end is near but what i am saying i think that you can just say clearly is that um the pace might not might be too much for him i mean pace might be too much for him at his age and uh it's only going to get worse as he deteriorates so i just um uh you know nothing against old people i've got a lot of old people in my life that i honor
Starting point is 00:07:46 And we appreciate, but there's a, you know, there's a, there's a, there's at each stage in life, um, there is something you should be doing, you know, there's a role for you at each stage in life, a valuable role, uh, for every person. And maybe somebody that, uh, 79, um, that role isn't, you know, high stakes negotiations with life or death, uh, and hanging in the balance. Uh, so that's my, that's my thoughts on Donald. We'll watch, um, the stamina. in case you are one of those who's like maybe maybe who knows i saw some i saw some tweets about how maybe that picture of that really feeble peaked looking man walking with his granddaughter to the golf course was not really donalds which i don't even want to say that it's obviously
Starting point is 00:08:34 it's just a gag it was trump there's not we're not in the movie dave or whatever the movie was called um but in case you are one of those um in case there any questions i want to read you a bleat Donald Trump sent this morning that is something only in a live Donald Trump could send. I used at the White House the most beautiful marble and stone available anywhere. That's how the bleat begins.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Services are very important to me as a builder. As anyone knows, I built many great buildings, blah, blah, blah. At the White House, I'm very proud of the beautiful stone work we did in the Rose Garden. In this case, using limestone plus. The Rose Garden
Starting point is 00:09:16 is completed and far more beautiful than anyone ever had in mind when it was conceived of decades ago. I don't know that that's really true. I don't think that people were imagining, oh, could outside the White House, you know, might it look like the Panera bread in Des Moines, kind of like patio, maybe like a Panera bread patio? It's just what we've always dreamed of for the White House. I don't know if that's. the case, but Donald Trump thinks so apparently. So he feels like it looks very nice.
Starting point is 00:09:52 But then something sad happened to him. Three days ago, while admiring the stone work, I happened to notice a huge gash in the limestone that extended more than 25 yards long. It was deep and nasty. He's running out of words to use is another thing
Starting point is 00:10:08 as his kind of, as his mental strength deteriorates a little bit, he uses words over, like, in what way could a crack in the limestone be nasty? anyway he loves the word nasty i started yelling who did this and i want to find out now and i didn't say that in a nice manner i wondered was it vandalism or was it stupidity lo and behold because of the fact that we've installed the finest security equipment anywhere i would hope so it's a fucking white house um they brought back these stupid people with our boss
Starting point is 00:10:41 washing in sunglasses uh it was a summer contractor that was installing heavy landscaping on a steel cart that was broken and tilting badly with it rubbing hard against the soft, beautiful stone. I love and respect the great workers and contractors, but something like this should never happen. Now I'll replace the stone, charge the contractor, and never let that contractor work at the White House again. But how great is the video equipment we caught them called? And the level of Karening here is just off the charts. This is truly insane. You know, if somebody at, you know, if one of the other parents at school was posting a screed against a subcontractor on their patio on social media and posting video, surveillance video of the subcontractor to demonstrate that they've caught them in this mistake on the remodel of their home, I would be like, keep me as far away.
Starting point is 00:11:44 from that parent as possible at daddy-daughter dance. Okay, like this is the behavior of a totally insane person at any level. There is no reason for the president of the United States to be micromanaging the install of this ugly patio. And even if he just is obsessed with this, and this is the thing that he cares about more than actual, you know, the costs of things, the reasons that he got elected. If he cares more about the patio, then he, like, cares about the forgotten man, which obviously he does, then okay. But, like, posting, like, video footage, shaming some subcontractor because they screwed up the limestone. Like, why? This is deranged behavior from the president.
Starting point is 00:12:35 And it's so deranged that I got to tell you, it had to be him. It had to be him. You have all the quotation marks. Few are all caps than usual. You know, so if you want to be a conspiracy theorist, few are all caps than usual. But I don't know who else has this kind of addled mind, this combination with like the accession with the terrible aesthetic of the White House with also shaming, working people, with also, you know, like giving yourself weird brags. like how you have the best security equipment anywhere. I feel it feels sui generis.
Starting point is 00:13:20 It feels like it has to be Trump. So based on this insane careening on truth social, I can't report. I do believe him to be alive. Also based on the picture of him with his granddaughter, where he looks like you might need a cane. So that's the latest. We're going to keep you posted.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I want to make sure that you have all the accurate information about what is happening. with the deteriorating body and mind of our president. And we'll be back here soon. Subscribe to the feed. Tell your friends, go tigers. Bye.
