I'm not going to be on Maga Monday. Will will be. I'm atoning for my sins. Will apparently has no sins to atone for. I've already atoned by watching this film as we will get it too. I've paid my price. This gets you out. Okay.

Gotcha. You're good with God for watching this film. Will just spent $15 for a streaming of the latest daily wire hit movie, run, hide, fight, infidels. I'm joking when I call it a hit because Will watched it. wrote a searing review of it, and I'm a little bit like taken aback that he didn't see the cinematic brilliance of this movie. But, Will, why did they make this movie? Well, you know, this movie, it stars Jonathan Majors, who people may remember from Marvel, from other movies, up until he, you know, got arrested on an assault charge, kind of blew up his career. And so now he's, now he's hanging out with Ben Shapiro.

So this is a movie that is the sequel to an earlier Daily Wire movie called Run Hyde Fight, which was kind of an action thriller about a school show. shooting. Kind of grim. But now this one is sort of like that on a college campus and instead of sort of nihilistic school shooters, we have essentially ISIS terrorists who are, you know, terrorizing the campus and Jonathan Majors and some college students team up to take them down. But again, why did they make this movie? Well, you know, I mean, in terms of like why, I would say the Daily Wire obviously has always had this ambition to sort of take over the culture, offer a conservative alternative to the culture. This has previously been an ambition that's gotten them in a lot of trouble in the past.

They spent 20 million plus on Penn Dragon. They're kind of Game of Thrones type fantasy show. They've tried this stuff over and over. And so they put out other movies. But this one, I think, is arguably the highest profile one. Jonathan Majors is certainly the biggest deal in movie star they've had. Do we know how much it costs them to do this by any chance? I don't think we know the budget at this point.

I would say $3,000, based on. on how the set is designed and everything. No, I actually, I will say to their credit, it looks decent. I mean, you know, there were some aspects that I enjoyed, but overall, this was a truly grotesque movie to watch. Okay, yeah, it's pure, unadulterated, anti-Muslim bigotry mixed with, you know, a little bit of like anti-woke nonsense and I don't know, did they go after the gays, too? It seems like they did.

They have a scene where they kick a, a, you know, a. a gay student off a building. We'll get to that in the second. But like, who else is targeted in here? Yeah, I mean, gays, trans students, kind of wokeys in general, you know, college administrators were portrayed as feckless idiots. You know, overall, I mean, yeah, it really, I mean, it is sort of like the, it's good to bring up up front because the whole plot of this movie is so insanely anti-Muslim.

It's not just that you have Muslim terrorists, but there's a lot of talk about essentially, like, all Muslims in America being kind of like sleeper agents for Al-Qaeda or. or ISIS. Jonathan Major's character talks about Muslims breeding in the wombs of our women. And like, it's like really this kind of like atavistic, really like, really like nasty stuff. All right. Let me read your description of the plot. And you can just tell me to pause and you can sort of elaborate on the points that you want to make. But I guess because no one who's watching this is going to see this movie, I don't feel like we should say spoiler. And we're not spoiling anything. I mean, I guess if you really want to watch it, you don't have to listen to this.

Trust me, I don't think you want to watch us. Here's Will's summary of the plot. Somewhere in Somalia, Jonathan Major's character, Clay Sanders, and his soldier buddy, rid a terrorist compound. But while they arrest the terrorist, Saunders' friend is fatally shot. Seven years later, the terrorist is on trial, and the son of Saunders' late friend is now out of college in Virginia, a wacko-liberal, Lawton University.

It's the Biden era. Pro-Palestine student protests have hit the campus, And wouldn't you know it, Saunders, who is now a hardcore Muslim-hating public intellectual, the likes of which Laura Lumer might find a bit extreme, arrives on campus for a speech. Let's pause there. Why is he on campus for a speech? He has a new book, a book that is portrayed as so thick that it can stop a bullet at one point in the movie. Does it actually stop a bullet? It does.

And he quips, you're lucky I'm long-winded. It's kind of funny. Oh, God. But basically, he, he's on campus. There's kind of like also, this is obviously in sort of a post-Charlie Kirk assassination landscape that this movie was made. There's a point where like the university won't provide security, whatever. So they, he's on campus to promote this idea, essentially that Muslims are sort of fifth column in America bent on destroying Western civilization. Gotcha.

All right. Let's keep going. This is fun. Unbeknownst to majors, aka Saunders, and the woke protesters alike, the son of the son of the son of the son of Somali terrorist on trial is also on campus. They don't know that because the son is posing as a janitor stashing bombs and guns around the school while darkly intoning things like, quote, every day we work for Allah to oblivious libs. Is it really like that? He's just dressed in the janitor? So he's like mopping things up. And it's kind of funny. He's shown like stashing guns and bombs around the

campus. But in reality, you know, when the terrorists do arrive, they kind of just roll up to campus. So it's like, couldn't they just carry their guns? Like, why? Why? Why? Why? They have to like, you know, have like all these little caches around. But then so someone like one of these oblivious. So where does he put them? Like are there just rooms that no one's checking? I think some are in the sewers. I think the sewers.

Oh, there's a lot of sewers. Weirdly. Yeah, there's a lot of sewers. So one is kind of the telltale, the biggest bomb is in like a janitor cart. And so, you know, that aspect is played on. So there's a part where, you know, in this lead up to this attack, this kind of oblivious. liberal professor is leaving and he's like hey like oh janitor you're still you're working late huh like you muslims must have a real work ethic and he says yes every day we work for the glory

and power of a law like and he goes okay whatever see you all right so the speech that colonel deputy whatever clay saunders is going to give marks the perfect day for the somali terrorist son and his crew to shoot a bunch of people take hostages and start a new caliphate on American soil, all with the unwitting help of some campus progressives. So the students are just like, hey, this is cool. Well, there are these like blue-haired liberal progressive students who are already doing like a Gaza encampment that creates a lot of drama on campus before this attack. And so basically they are, however, being secretly funded by the mysterious Cunjar,

who turns out to be the janitor. And he's sending them texts like, you know, hey, you guys should be. should throw some smoke bombs at the student union and what have you. So they're like, yeah, that sounds great. Yes, but then when the terrorists actually show up the sort of social justice warrior students are like, whoa, what the? We referenced it early on. You'll see in this scene there's a blue-haired, progressive, and apparently a, I don't know, a gay student and they're on the rooftop with one of the terrorists. Yeah, this is the lead terrorist. And these are the lead sort of pro-Palestinian students. Okay, let's play this. This is what we're dealing with. I'm gay.

Settle stuff. Yeah, what leads up, and then he beheads the woman. What leads up to that, it's really crazy. What leads up to that is him saying, like, no one in your country has children anymore. But for you two, this is a day, you know, the start of our beautiful caliphate you can tell your children about. And the girl goes, we're not going to have kids. I'm Polly. And Bruce is gay.

And then the guy's like, you're what? And he kicks them off the building. Yeah. And that's kind of like the big sizzle clip that the Daily Wire is circulating. That's kind of like the big epic moment. Wow. Okay. Now, the big thing that you noticed in this movie is that Jonathan Majors, the main actor, really.

the biggest draw here, a man who is trying to rehabilitate his career and a man who literally fell out of a window while shooting this film. Not deliberately. He accidentally fell out of a window. He actually doesn't appear on the screen all that much. Yeah. So first let's talk about the window thing. I mean, this came up, I think, Variety reported on this or deadline. But basically during the filming and now seeing the movie, I can understand where it happened, basically there is repeatedly during this movie, someone gets shot. And you think, think they're dead and they're wearing a bulletproof vest. Like, they do this move over and over.

But basically, Jonathan Majors and the other protagonists, his dead buddy's son, they're by a window and the main terrorist shoots them and then they get blown out of the window. Now, in real life, they were not supposed to, you know, fall out of the window, which is like a story or two up, but they did. And I will say to his credit, Jonathan Majors demanded they use that footage. So it may be that that's the footage they used, although it looks like a pretty hard fall. But it's pretty start-away.

Here we go, guys. Ready? And three, two, one. Action. No! Yes, guys. Let it get back. Yeah.

Good? I'm good. You good? I'm good. Do we shoot it? We shot it. Use it. To my point, Majors doesn't actually

appear all that much in the film. Yeah. So this is really funny. So all the marketing is around Jonathan Majors is in this movie, whatever. And I would say in the first 50 minutes, he has just a few scenes where he's like, I'm going to get my speech about how much I don't like Muslims. And people are like, that sounds great. And then the terrorists come into the speech.

And so he gets like a little scene there. And then he gets shot in the bulletproof vest. And he goes, okay, we got to go and get some better guns. And the guy, the dead soldier's son, who's really our main character, says, these are my friends. I can't leave them. And Jonathan Majors goes essentially like, okay, well, whatever. and he leaves, and I thought he was going to come back like 10 minutes later or something.

He comes back with like five minutes left in the movie. So there's essentially an hour where he just like does not exist as a character. Okay. You write this with majors, aka Saunders, quickly fleeing the scene to get better guns, that leaves the task of stopping the terrorists to a handful of people, the dead soldier's son, a camp, a security guard, and his cigar and vape-chomping debate bro reminisce in a podcaster Stephen Crowder. Before the fighting starts, our debater,

April for shot is the type of fire he will bring to this fight when he score some epic wins on campus progressives. Quote, try wearing that skirt in Tehran. You'll be stone to death, he tells one liberal woman. Yeah, so he wades into the Gaza encampment, and he's actually trying to impress a female student journalist who turns out to be kind of the great love of his life. But basically, he is using this really like C-tier daily wire banter of sort of like, you know, They'd kill you in Tehran for that chickadee, you know, whatever.

And so he's like a call of duty maniac. He's always on his vape. He's a veteran, although, spoiler, it turns out he's kind of doing a little stolen valor. He was not a combat veteran. And so, you know, Ben Shapiro famously hates Stephen Crowder. And I couldn't help but think, hmm, I wonder if he's kind of setting up this Crowder-like character to look like a buffoon. Well, does he look like a buffoon?

Yeah, I would say. So he's kind of the comic relief. I mean, he's sort of, you know, shooting the place up and whatever. And, you know, I mean, he's kind of a bozo. The women hate him. Our main character, you know, is trying to, you know, hook up with some girl. And then this guy's like, I want to talk about debate. And then, you know, all the women leave the party.

All right. You make note of the fact that while the siege of the campus lasts about 24 hours, there's no, like, law enforcement to help solve it. It's like they just don't go and try to diffuse a terrorist situation on campus. Why is that? Yeah. So initially, a couple cops show up and they're like instantly killed. But basically, because they're like distracted by a hippie professor.

But basically. What do you mean? Well, the hippie professor is like, cops, cops. And then the terrorist went, you know, but then after that, you might think, okay, all right, the FBI's got to get here, right? Or the rest of the campus, you know, the rest of the city police. But the woke mayor is like no, there's a protest that's like no pigs on campus. Don't interfere with this thing that has probably killed 50s.

students. You know, the terrorists have, they're in a tower and they have like a Mac 10. And so this whole movie, they're going like, da, da, da, da, so the cops are not being allowed in. It's so much so that they, the FBI sets up a staging ground in a church, little subtext there, that later we see Jonathan Major is just chilling it. And eventually the kids are like, we got to go back and save everyone. And he's like, all right, I guess I'll come for one more see, sure. I'm just dying at the fact that this hippie mayor has like jurisdiction and it's like, no,

this is my town. We're going to let this ISIS thing play out. This is my town cops. Get away. This is social justice. All right. So while you kind of shot on the movie, you gave it two flags out of the five false flag rating that you have here, there are moments that you said are decent, but I'd quibble with this. And you and I've had now a 12-hour debate over this. scene. And I don't want to get two in the weeds, but I guess it all culminates in a gym where

the protagonist, this will be the dead Jonathan Major's friend's dead friend's son is with what? Is it the chief terrorist or is it? Yeah, basically a lot of the women have been herded into this student gym and made to wear burkas and they're getting a sort of a ritual cleansing before the terrorists have with them. Yeah. Okay. That's kind of crazy. And so he us in and basically he, the student was shown earlier really doing heavy leg presses in the gym. And so basically he's fighting with one of the terrorists, kind of a lesser terrorist. And then he grabs the guy's head and puts it on the seat of the leg press machine and then opens the guard and it crushes his head. I just don't buy it. And I continue

to not buy it. I don't think this is realistic in the slightest. I've seen the footage now and I stand by my assessment. There's no way that a leg press weight is going to come all the way down to the seat enough so that it crushes a person's head. And in fact, the clip I saw shows that there's definitely a lot of space there for the head to survive. I think it's a silly way to die. Well, you know, it's otherwise a perfect movie. And so I'm glad that you pointed out this one flaw. What is it like every diamond has a little flaw? Yeah, this one is a big flaw, though. I'm looking at it right now. We can't put it up because of copyright issues.

I wish we could. There doesn't even seem to be that much weight on there. Like, not enough to crush a skull. But it's not all the way down. And his head has plenty of room. He would have knocked him cold maybe, but it wouldn't have caused head trauma, the likes of which would kill a person.

And I thought the line that he uttered, our protagonist uttered afterwards, was really cheesy. He says, never skip leg day. But he didn't lift the weights with his legs. in this situation. He just took out the guards. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of that. You know, the quips don't always make a lot of sense. You know, I also mentioned in the story, there's a point where this Asian guy diffuses a bomb and someone says, wait a minute, how do you know how to defuse a bomb?

And he says, I'm Asian, you know, so the plotting is maybe not the most rigorous. No, it's not. For instance, you write, much has never explained. The terrorists are aided by a vaguely German campus bookstore employee who also turns out to be a Nazi and expert drone operator. Do they explain how this man is a... No, he's kind of like up to no good in the shadows before the attack starts. But there's never a point where someone's like, wait a minute, why are you helping ISIS? And he says, well, I'm a Nazi and we both hate Jews or something. It's just sort of like, I wouldn't even have known he was a Nazi, if not for his swastika tattoo,

which is sort of briefly shown. So it's a very, you know, I apologize to the Daily Wire if there was some big exposition on this guy that I missed. But I don't think so. You also say that there's a saga of a pregnant anti-woke professor who were told was stigmatized among the liberals on campus just for having a child. She goes into labor during the fighting and then disappears for the entirety of the movie. Do we know the status of the kid? Yeah.

Well, so basically, there's a big debate on campus about what to do about the Gaza encampment. And then this professor goes, I say we get them out of there. Let other students use the quad. And then so these other professors are like, oh, we thought. it was bad enough when you decided to have a child, you know, but I guess, and now you're really anti-woke. But basically, she goes into labor right at the start of the attack. Then we really, you know, she got the Jonathan Major's deal where she doesn't appear then until like the last couple minutes and she has the baby suddenly and the terrorist is like, all right, time to die.

And then the campus security guard saves them. Okay. Well, the Daily Wire didn't really like your review. No. Pro tip, they write. If you want the bulwark to pull publish a positive review of your film, don't depict a radical Muslim throwing a homosexual off a roof. If you don't give a shit about the bullwork, do this. And then they link to the clip of the person getting kicked off the roof and dying. Are they suggesting that for people who don't give a shit about our publication, they should go kill, push a homosexual off a roof? Is that what they're saying? That is sort of how I read it. I feel like they could have parts their language a little better. It essentially, there's a, you don't go to give a shit about the bullwork, kick a guy off a roof.

I mean, it's, yeah, I mean, I think it's kind of telling that this is the main clip they're using. There's, there is like a lot of weird on one hand. The, the Muslim terrorists are betrayed is just like awful, awful, you know, the worst thing in the world. But on the other, I feel like the audience is kind of getting a lot of catharsis through their actions because they're the only ones who are able to, like, to say like, you libs are out of control, you know, and they're, they're punishing like transgender people and gay people. And so I feel like there's a complicated mixture going on. Well, I, you know, I'm not saying Twitter's real life, but I did take a look at the responses to the Daily Wire's tweet of your review. And I think people are in your camp here. One guy says, my wife and I watched run, hide, fight infidels last night.

Not real pleased with it. There were good truths in the movie and the intended, and the intended message is good and is needed. However, the director failed short of the seriousness of it all. The end was especially bad. Okay. Maybe we can talk about the end. And you know, I will note on the Daily Wire subreddit, which obviously I hang out a lot. It was someone who's like, I'm a hardcore Daily Wire fan, but this movie stunk. And they made a point, which is when people say the end was bad, so Jonathan Majors comes out and there's this point where basically the terrorists are trying to make it to a helicopter. And they have taken a couple hostages who are, needless to say, the love interests of our main characters. And then Jonathan Majors and Stephen Crowder's character essentially, and then the main guy, they're kind of doing this, like, kind of crossfire. They're trying to catch the terrorists. But also keep in mind, there was, like, also a student carnival going on this day.

So there's all this kind of stuff. And basically, Jonathan Majors goes to the helicopter where the original terrorist from Somalia is waiting to join the other terrorists. And then all these, like, kind of like some Navy SEALs are on the helicopter, I guess, escorting him. And Jonathan Majors just, like, kills him. And Navy SEALs don't react or anything. And then after it's all over, after all the terrorists are dead, everyone's like, yeah, we did it. And it's like, keep in mind, I think like 100 people are dead at this point of their classmates, their bodies like litter at the campus. And then they're just like, hey, like, you know, let's go join the carnival.

Oh, my God. A few more reviews from the Twitter responses. One person writes, if you want a positive view of your film, don't make a pile of shit. And then someone else says, the shit I just took had more artistic and intellectual value than whatever the fuck this is talking about the post. So I think the masses are with you will. I don't think people are overly impressed by whatever the hell this is. I will say, if you work for an entity that produces this type of bigotry and calls it film,

you should reassess what you think of both film and your worldview because this is pretty grotesque stuff. You know, it's kind of funny with the Daily Wire where, like, they have a very sort of schizophrenic approach to erratic approach to what they make. So, like, if you've signed up for the Daily Wire, if you did it a few years ago, you might be watching Chipchilla, the Chinchilla theme take on Bluey, the children's cartoon show that they made. Or, you know, these kind of like, or Penn Dragon, which is kind of this, like, Christian thing, fantasy thing. Or you can get this, like, blood-soaked, Jonathan Major's, like, heads crushed or like, all this stuff.

So it's, it's a wide range of content. I feel like a lot of people did not expect to get this when they signed up. it's a publication of multitudes i give them credit for that all right well thank you for doing this i know i joke that you couldn't expense the uh streaming costs but you can we'll cover it because this is torture and i feel bad for you but i know in your heart that you kind of enjoyed it you know if i could just make one more point about this movie yeah i think looking back at it i think the jonathan major's role may have been kind of like grafted onto it at the very last minute um that may be obvious but like weirdly his speech and like kind of the author public intellectual character the terrorists i don't think talk that

much about it like i guess there's a little bit of it but but it's sort of like as i mentioned there's also this carnival there's kind of just like a lot of things going on at the same time so it's almost like that character was either supposed to not exist or have a much smaller role and then they were like oh jonathan majors is canceled now we can get him and so so they kind of created a little more it doesn't sound very good honestly but look never skip like day You never know when you're going to have to kill a terrorist at school gym by throwing their head into the bench press or the leg press. All right, Will Summer, ladies and gentlemen, he does the dirty work so that you don't have to. He watches the shit so you don't have to.
