Hey everybody, Tim Miller from The Bullwork here. It was a big night in the Situation Room
as President Trump and his national security team got together to decide what to do about the
Iran-Israel war. And simultaneously, the vice president of the United States was trolling
trans people on Blue Sky and Twitter. Not exactly locked in on the potential for regime change war in the Middle East
from our vice president.
I want to go through the timeline with you.
So here we go.
We go over to Blue Sky.
And long time viewers of the channel know I've got mixed feelings about Blue Sky.
It is everybody, most everybody has good
intentions there but every time I go there I'm getting yelled at somebody by somebody
for using the wrong word and that that wears on a person. So anyway JD got to experience
that and in much more harsher and deserved terms than I did. He pops into Blue Sky to write this.
This is at, let's see, let's get the time here right. This is pretty important to get
the time right. This is 4.50 Eastern. He writes, hello Blue Sky, I've been told this app has
become the place to go for common sense political discussion and analysis, so I'm thrilled to
be here to engage with all of you."
I mean, you can just feel the smarminess through the keys.
He then links to the Supreme Court ruling today, which essentially held that red states
could ban transgender medical procedures for minors. We'll be talking
about this over the next little bit with lawyers and such, but that's the short summary of the case.
And then he goes on to talk about, he does a little thread on his first skeet. He talks about
how he liked Clarence Thomas's opinion on this, that insulted experts.
And then he goes on to say that he thinks that the doctors and scientists that are working on
trans youth healthcare are getting resources from big pharma. So there you go. That's 450.
And let me tell you, it's childish I mean, it's childish and like,
whatever. For the vice president of the United States, vice president of the United States,
the last time I did a bit, I did a monologue about JD. He was over in the Vatican talking
to Ross Douthat about how, oh, it's, he wants to bring the country together. And now he
thinks that immigration is tearing at the country's fabric. So there you go. Somebody
wants to bring the country together fabric. So there you go.
Somebody who wants to bring the country together is doing so by going on a platform that has
a lot of progressive folks and mocking them over a judicial ruling about trans kids.
So what a uniter we've got in our vice president.
Not only do we have not someone interested in uniting or in bringing people together or bridging differences.
We've got somebody who doesn't seem to be that focused on the big issues of his job.
At 4.50 he sends that skeet and then did a situation room meeting about the Iran-Israel
war about five o'clock, so just a few minutes later.
So he's kind of just typing it out on the, I got to pop out a quick blue sky here on
my way to the Iran war meeting.
Gets into the Iran war meeting.
We don't know, there's not been a decision.
Trump seems indecisive.
Trump's going back and forth between his hawkish Rubio advisors and his Russian puppets and Tulsi and JD's trying to play both sides.
He's kind of on Tulsi's side. It's sort of like an inverse... I'm stealing this from
somebody online, so I'm sorry for not crediting you. It's sort of like an inverse Dick Cheney.
You know, back during Iraq, Dick Cheney was, you know, really pushing
things, you know, really driving things a certain direction. JD is mostly focused on
trolling people on the internet, you know, the death and destruction in the Middle East,
the uncertainty, the fact that our troops are potentially at higher risk or in more danger now,
one stationed over there, the implications for that kind of economy here, for everybody.
This kind of really weighty issue. As I mentioned yesterday, I struggle with it.
It's a tough, weighty issue on what to do. And JD is in the room where it happens, as they say, in the situation room. He's thinking
about he's thinking about his blue sky. He's thinking about whether he's triggered some
libs today. He's thinking about whether any there's any any liberal tears among
childless cat ladies on blue sky. That's what really gets him going. You know, not
like governing, not trying to get the best intel possible on the situation inside Iran.
Do you think JD could have named how many people lived in Iran before the Tucker interview
yesterday? I'm going to say no. I'm going to say no. I think that's a pretty safe bet. Anyway, meeting ends. Then what happens? What JD might
do? He might meet with his national security advisors privately, might have some follow-up
meetings. I don't know, stakeholders. Nope, pops onto Twitter. To let people know he this is now 601 so it's a situation where
meeting was about an hour he's out of there BAM first thing he's doing
tweeting just set up my page on blue sky hope to see you guys there exclamation
points this is an unserious person. This is a deeply, deeply
unserious, petty, smarmy person. And the more I see his face, the
less I like him. I just have to say. You think you reach a
place with somebody that like really you find really so unappealing
in every possible manner. And like, you can't, it's hard to come up with a nice thing to
say about them. And so you think that you get to a place where it's like, don't know
if I can hate this person any more than I do right now. And yet JD has kind of this
superpower that every time I see him, I just dislike
him a little more.
Anyway, maybe that's a me thing.
What else do I want to bring up?
I should mention, he isn't the only social media war he's engaged in with regards to
the real war.
How much focus he's giving to the real war is, uh, how much focus he's, he's giving to the real war
seems to be a question mark. The social media war about the war locked in. I mean, dude is like
laser eyes on, on the fucking Twitter. You know, he is, he's dialed in, he's cooking,
he is making sure that he's going to win the war about the war
on social media. A couple of things he's been doing. For example, this guy David Reboy.
I don't know if you know Dave Reboy. He's like five foot one and juiced out right wing social media guy.
He posted something about how JD's team is leaking to Politico or something.
And JD quote tweets this random guy, like, is he that him? Like he's got 197,000 followers.
I mean, not nothing, but I bet you have never heard of David Rieboy. Vice presidents randomly president's randomly quote tweets him just like, pow, this loser who supported DeSantis,
what, is now attacking my team. Like, what is this guy doing? He also, he also got into
a fight with Cassandra McDonald. And that was over over pushing back on this conversation around how Tulsi had testified
about seven, eight weeks ago now that Iran was not really close to enriching a nuclear
weapon and how that is in conflict with the stated policy of the administration right now. And
JD replied to her, Tulsi's testimony was in March. A lot has changed since then. Really?
A lot has changed since March. I'm not a nuclear scientist, but to me, it seems like Iran's
been kind of on the brink of a nuke for 18 years now.
And like, just the last eight weeks where things really flipped, they really flipped
a switch?
Possible.
I find that a little hard to believe.
But JD wants to make sure he's winning that war.
So he's out there.
Anyway, I just figured I'd pop this out for you guys at night in
case you know, you were, you're worried, you're worried about potential escalation in the
Middle East, what that might mean for you or your family. And I just want to make sure
that you can go to sleep tonight, put your head on that pillow and feel comfortable that
the vice president is on this. Okay, the vice president, no matter
what happens, he will be tweeting through it. He'll be tweeting through it and now he'll
be skeeting through it on blue sky. And he'll make sure that random people on the internet
get put in their place and get dunked on in the smarmiest way possible because that is
what the vice president of the United States cares about.
We'll see you back here soon. Subscribe to the feed.
