Welcome to tonight's episode. and I'm so pumped because I'm talking about my goddamn New Year's Eve masquerade party. What? That was fireworks going off, in case you're wondering.

Hey, producer, can you shove some fireworks in for me, please? Thanks. This episode is called Nick Salina's Enchanted Ball of Eden, a new year's eve masquerade in singapore what what what what what are you talking about let me tell you so listen your girl loves a ball right i've never i don't think i've ever been why have them yeah been to a couple of balls and i love reasons to dress up in ball gowns and men in tuxes or shirts and suit pants you know

where they look like hot look we all know men look fucking hot in shirts and pants and tuxes and suits like it just next levels you know there's a reason James Bond is always in a suit people get with the program but is there really ever any space for us to dress up in our best in black tie glamour and go out and party till three in the morning not really because you're usually in like party outfits or you've been in your shorts and flip-flops on the beach. I mean, no, I say nay. I want Singapore to have that next level event and what better time to do it than New Year's Eve. So I have collaborated with some incredible people, which I'll get to in this episode. So bear with me because you're going to get all the information on what you can

expect. But the first people that I collaborated with is, of course, the venue. So I am taking over, and I'm very thankful to be able to say this, the entire level four of the brand new five-star hotel, the Pullman Singapore Orchard. They have, thankfully, accepted me with open arms and have given me the entire space to transform into my personal masquerade idea for New Year's Eve. I cannot believe they trust me with this and I'm so bloody excited about it. So the level four has three different concepts. It's basically an Instagram worthy venue on its own, let me tell you that. But the main interior part, the dining space and also the dance floor is the Eden restaurant and there's incredible giant hanging plants botanicals everywhere it's beautifully

designed black and white checked flooring it's it's just stunning and huge that's their main uh yeah dining space and then off of that just go down a few little steps and you're in the lounge and this is such a really cozy intimate but like stunning art focused space which also has at least four private rooms off of it as well and the huge front bar um it just you'll have to see the photos, okay? It's so, so pretty. And then that moves into the outdoor space, which includes their PSO Beach Club pool. And this pool is so awesome. There's cabanas everywhere. There's floats in it. And you can use the pool. There's an outdoor pool. It's awesome. And I have command of all of that. So just imagine where my brain has gone. We know I'm a creative human.

We know I love to party. We know I love to dress up. Put all that together and you just imagine what I've done. So the theme is a decadent Italian indoor garden ball. Think Venetian masquerades, where there's candles and pearls and feathers everywhere. But then there's also botanicals and hanging ivy. And it's just so seductive, so sophisticated. And everyone's in masks, lace, feathered, embellished, embossed, beautiful dresses. And that's the theme of the Enchanted Ball of Eden. I want it to be like semi fairy tale, you know, fantastical fairy tale New Year's Eve. But at the same score, we're partying because there ain't a fucking event of mine if we ain't partying. So I've enlisted some incredible DJs, which I'll get to a little bit

later. A really awesome alcohol sponsor as well. Fuck, I've even got an illusionist. Uh-huh. So let me run through the event with you. Let's start from the get-go. It starts at 9.30 p.m. Obviously, your dress code is, as what I've said above, masks and, you know, whatever you want to come in, please dress up. I don't want any board shorts and flip-flops. And when you arrive, your ticket entitles you to a flute of champagne. I'm going to totally butcher the name of this and everyone who works in alcohol is going to be annoyed with me. But it's Nicolas Foullier Champagne. Nicolas Foullier. I feel like that sounds cool. So let's roll with that. That's the champagne you get. It's really bougie, awesome champagne. So everyone gets that on

arrival. And then you'll be in the Atelier Lounge for the reception until 11pm. In that reception area the beverages are one for one what yes what yes buy one get one free for an hour and a half what i know you know what basically i'm like what would i want at an event well that's what we're doing so i must send a big thank you to the orientalist spirits for sponsoring that portion. They have created three incredible cocktails. I love the brand is incredible. And they have gin, rum, whiskey, vodka, and everything's so damn smooth. Like you can shot the rum, which I don't want to, I can, I'd rather mix it, but you can shot it and it just goes down so smooth. Really, really refined homegrown spirits here and there. I don't think you can do a ball, especially a masquerade, Venetian-inspired ball, without an illusionist. So I've enlisted Darren Tehan. He is part of the duo Darren and Gerald, and they're one of Singapore's most sought-after magical duos. The pair have combined performance experiences for more than 15 years. They've toured the US, they've performed at Hollywood, Las Vegas, they've won awards, and they are constantly booked for huge clients,

Rolls-Royce, BMW, Singapore Airlines, and they're also the resident magicians at the Hilton, pan americana ice cold beer number five emerald hill these guys are good and darren will be there to leave you all in awe and magical mystery as you enjoy your reception space in the lounge i'm so glad he's agreed to do this with me i've personally been at the receiving end of darren's magic tricks and I don't know how he does it. Side note, Darren, on the night, can you like magic 10 bucks me into like 50,000 bucks? Am I asking for too much? Okay, I'll take 5,000. If you can just do that, it'll make me a very happy woman. But yeah, he's fantastic. So please do come with an open mind and expect some guy coming up to you in a mask and a mysterious air

about him and just let him do his thing. Because what an illusionist he is. Then at 11, Eden's going to open. And that's where shiz is going to go down. My emcee's going to come in. Vijay, I love you. You're fucking awesome. If you haven't gone to a party where Vijay's your emcee, just you wait and see. And my DJ's going to start. So my two DJs that I have is James Silva. Selva you're gonna be Selva James Selva and Sivanesh so these two are incredible oh my god they're so good Sivanesh is the musical director of Potato Head and James has played at festivals such as Wonder Fruit, Garden Beat, Secret Weekend he's also always in the local establishments we're looking at C'est La Vie, Kilo Lounge, Mandala, Zouk, Manifest, Rumors, Blackout,

TBC, you name it, James has done it. Do you know what I'm saying? These two are fucking killers. How I got them for my New Year's Eve party, I don't know. I'm not even questioning this point. I'm just fucking thankful. They are going to make sure the music goes off from 11 to 3 in the morning, guys. So you better make sure you last until the end because it's going to be incredible. so I've got you and MC I've got the most incredible DJs and then for New Year's Eve countdown we have confetti cannons yes so y'all better be in Eden ready we're gonna be counting down from VJ he's gonna be on the mic and as soon as that clock kicks midnight confetti cannons are going off. If that's not enough for you, we've also got such opulent, decadent decor that you

are going to want to insta every photo from the whole space. And I'm talking even the pool. I have got candles floating in the pool. I have got a balloon. It just, you get what I'm saying? everywhere, right? It's going to be just a beautiful space. The beats are going to be incredible. You're going to want to be dancing all night long. And we are ringing in New Year's Eve in style. That's all I want to say on the matter. We are ringing it in. I am pumped for this. Also, on a personal note, I always have a rubbish New Year. In fact, I fly back from the UK on New Year's Eve. I think I've done it for the past three or four years now because my New Year's Eve is always meh. And I thought, no, not this year. What do I want? I want

a fucking amazing party. I want cheap drinks. I want champagne. I want to dress up and I want to take really gorgeous photos and just have a blast. Hello.
