Starting point is 00:00:00 We're recording, right? Yeah, we're good. Hey, everyone. Welcome to another great episode of Chubby Behemoth featuring Sam, Lund, and you pick your poison over there. All right. Is it me? Is it Lund? It's Blake Hammondale.
Starting point is 00:00:14 Yeah, wow. Fuck me, suck me, throwing the river. Hello. All right. Well, it's good to have you, Blake. And that's the record. 12 seconds. We're here in Bentonville.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Arkansas. Yeah. Big Diamond. Lunds Big Fest. I'm so sorry that you're not on more stuff. I'm crashing. No, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:00:40 It's one of many things where like years ago I'd be like, what the fuck, Sam, but no, you're so busy. I have so much going on. I'm barely involved in this fest. I've had the nightmare of all these people. I'm like, hey, I'm Sam Talent.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Who are you? And they're like, uh, I'm one of the 30 comics that were hands selected allegedly by you and Raj. It's like, oh yeah, great clip. Good stuff. You were my favorite. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Yeah. Hey, we all got to be humble, you know. Yeah, we're in NWA. We sure are, yeah. Yeah, that's everywhere. And that's what they call it down. Yeah, that we actually, we have a showcase called NWA. So.
Starting point is 00:01:18 I did a set last night. Rosh got me on a set last night. You did? Yeah. Where? Are you flirting with me? Oh, good. The podcast, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Cool. I did a set. It was fun. And you did your big bit, right? Or you didn't do that. What? Pumpkin? You told us last night. No, you told us last night you were considering doing... No, I did what I said. Oh, good. Yeah. Okay. I talked about... I've done it like a couple of times talking about like how I don't want to have sex as much, you know? Yeah. Because I don't feel sexy at all,
Starting point is 00:01:48 like ever. I guess I used to just, you know, not think about that, but now it's just like, I grossed myself out. So not a lot of like initiating sex with, uh, with Megan. But I do Jacket. Like porn is just still like a thing. And then it's not that weird when you think about like basketball playing it versus watching the NBA. Like when I play basketball, it's gross. It sucks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:13 It's all very sweaty. I don't. I don't do a good job. I don't do a good job. But then watching the best in the world do what they do, you know. And then I said, you know, LeBron James and I don't know who's the LeBron James of porn. Riley Reed and then I riffed. They both say the N word.
Starting point is 00:02:32 One of them shouldn't, but she does. And it's like, I'm referencing that clip and I wonder how many people in that random crowd of like normals. The women's like sex positive show. You know how Riley Reid spits hot fire in the studio.
Starting point is 00:02:51 That's funny. I was so tired and stoned and exhausted from shaking hands last night. When you told that, I was like coming in and out of it. I was like, did he, he was on the show? I thought for a second you gave that bit to Kelsey Rosen because she was on the show and she did that bit. No. I was living in that reality for a minute. She did great.
Starting point is 00:03:09 She has a whole joke that she's been, I think, closing with about hooking up with a dude who put on the score for the Hobbit. Oh, yeah. And how it was like three hours of the orchestral score. And all he did was fully closed, dry hump her for like the whole time. And she was like, we could have watched the movie. And then she talks about if her vagina was, if her body was middle earth. And it was great. Do you want to do anyone's bits?
Starting point is 00:03:37 That's a big part of the pod nowadays. Yeah. I don't know. I did one of your bits earlier. Oh, yeah. I did one of yours. One. The thing about his first book running in the light, he would read the reviews.
Starting point is 00:03:49 He was like, you know, reads like cinema, the Denver, whatever, and blah, blah, blah. You know, another great thing. And then whatever. It's shocking in its violence. violent rhetoric, the Southern poverty lawsuit. Yeah, that was always fun to hear. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:04:06 It's been fun to watch the festival bump up against you. Yeah. We had a surprise pop in last night, legendary comedian, old friend of mine, and Lund's, John Chris. Yeah, that was cool. He's a cool guy and a nice guy and I have nothing
Starting point is 00:04:22 bad to say about him on camera. It's a very funny. Maybelline model John Christ Yeah Former goth Yeah Yeah Hey if God wanted you
Starting point is 00:04:37 Have eyelashes like that He would have made him like that Yeah Also we have Jansecocque back there Okay Yeah Who I just wanted to frame up back there To kind of have to be the proxy
Starting point is 00:04:47 Becker of course is over there We only have three mics I had some like strange TSA shuts down four mics Right That's when they get really curious What do you got What do you got going on there?
Starting point is 00:04:57 So three, you know, under the radar. I thought you were asking me too. No, four mics, you get a fucking... It's a water ball. You get a pat down. Speaking of Kelsey, she hit me up was like, hey, she commented on the thing I shared of Jesselnick and Patton talking about Brut. And she said, this is so cool.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I hope they do a whole episode on Brut. And I said, are you okay? And then she said like, she said like, oh my God, I'm so tired. I'm so sorry. And I said, yeah, I was about to call your dad and say, time for her to come home. Denver ate her brain. She's got a parasite. Yeah, she said she hasn't been sleeping, so she's like manic.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Yeah. She needs to sleep. You got to fucking make her run around the block or something so she gets tired. Or, you know, put on, have her put on the Lord of the Rings. soundtrack. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Blake, you're a Cincinnati kid. Mm-hmm. You know,
Starting point is 00:06:06 what's the latest from the Queen City? Uh, it's dog shit. Okay. Uh, like,
Starting point is 00:06:11 like the people I interact with. Oh, sure. It's a beautiful city. It's an artful city. Just not the comedians or,
Starting point is 00:06:18 you know, the trash. I hang out of it. Right. Yeah. The river trash that is around me. You have a lot of scab eaters
Starting point is 00:06:23 in your crew. Yeah, 100%. And they're, they're not they're not picking their own. it's all off papa
Starting point is 00:06:29 it's all of me like pop that shirt off yeah yeah all my back scabs oh yeah hey see you grabbed your pearls on that the scabbiest guy I know yeah but not with a crew
Starting point is 00:06:42 that's gather around that's what it's like to have friends it's like a salt that's me in bed not not at the park with the boys Jen Scott what's the probability here you can put this in your supercomputer of them having the exact amount of same backscabs.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Put it in the clod. Hey, hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Less talking, more calculate. All right.
Starting point is 00:07:12 Computer. Have them run an adversarial reaction against each other. That was so funny. You get home last night and you're like, uh, I couldn't find you. You were so high. You were pinned last night. And it's like, hey, everyone's going to the bar and I go up to Blake and I'm like, I'm going fucking home.
Starting point is 00:07:30 So I tried to round everyone up and I can't find you. And I'm like, leave no man behind. Where's Lund? Who's trapped Lund? You know? Who's got Lund upside down? And it ended up being friend, Sam, owner of Sisyphus. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:43 And I walk over and you're literally like this. And I'm like, hey, buddy, we're leaving. And you're like, who's leaving? And I was like, all right, let's get him out of here. Just the classic, the first time around, he sparks up a joint. I go, I've been wigging out on random weed. I'm going to stick with. my pen.
Starting point is 00:08:00 But then like 20 minutes later, I know we're going to leave soonish, whatever. So I was like, fuck it. Maybe it'll be chill. I hit it like four times. And a couple minutes later, he's talking about like his changing up his venue and selling tickets directly and paying comics better. And then it hits. And I'm just like, up too high.
Starting point is 00:08:20 We're just like, uh, I'm the scat man. There's like, there's 80 people, right? like 10 feet away and I'm just like oh fuck. There's 50 people playing Twister without a board
Starting point is 00:08:33 I'm gonna have to fight my way out of here. And didn't he say he was talking about AI? How he's incorporating AI into like the business model whatever just complicated
Starting point is 00:08:44 stuff for... Can you imagine pinning someone as they're too high and jabbering about AI? Can you imagine that Jansocock? Yeah, he loves it.
Starting point is 00:08:54 What he did all night? He literally came and sat down last night after I finally get home and I'm like peace and quiet with the boys oh maybe I'll take a fucking bong rip you know and then and then he's like me and Brad have been designing games I've had
Starting point is 00:09:10 oh yeah it is I've been having robots play them against each other Brad's game has been solved already he's furious showing you the details I know yeah it was like
Starting point is 00:09:22 yeah I was like yeah you like go cards everyone likes go cards Couldn't have been less detached. No, it was great. I'm really happy about that. But it is tough to be trapped by an AI guy. Just to start talking about anything like that at the end of the night where it was, you know, travel day. Right.
Starting point is 00:09:41 And then all the craziness of seeing, meeting everybody the first day of the fest. Imagine doing that in someone's own home. Where it's safe. But yeah, it was also funny to, you know, after we were upstairs for like a half hour, we're all stoned. And talking about like dumb. random nerdy stuff and like I laughed at the fact that I chose that wanted that over like a more normal like go to a bar with most of the people on the fest and like continue to hang I was like no and it's just nice to know what you want and then to do that because the worst thing is feeling like
Starting point is 00:10:15 you have to do something going and then like not doing a good job like not getting into it and that's been the same for both of us since we quit drinking where it's just you can't really fake it and be like, this is fine when like the bar is so loud and everybody's talking. Yeah. Like it's sensory overload and I just, I'm not as good at it as I used to. 8.30 last night. I can't have another one at midnight. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:10:38 You know, like I already had my insane last like late night injection of caffeine. And it's like, okay, can I, I should have another Red Bull at 12 to hang out until one and then not go to bed until four? No. Hey, everyone, get your tickets to see us in Long Island. We're going to be in Long Island at Governors. And then there's like four tickets left for. the Bell House show. So maybe you'll be the lucky for. Yeah. Yeah, get those tickets. And then we're in
Starting point is 00:11:01 Connecticut. And then we're going to Denver and we'll be at Skankfest and we'll be in Philadelphia and Royal Oak. See, I get your ticket. Samtallot.com. Join the Patreon. It's very funny. This is brewing. I'll be back the Christmas time season, December 26th and then New Year's Eve weekend, hopefully hanging out with Blake at Go Bananas, the 35th. first and the second, I think we'll do shows. And October 28th in Loveland, verboten brewing. Haven't done that show in a while. And it's under new management, so hopefully that'll be a good time.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Blake? Oh, yeah. Yeah, in November 12th, I'll be in the Boston Comedy Festival. If you guys come, I'll probably move on and then be there the 13th and 14th. November 28th, I'm headlining Commonwealth Comedy Club, two shows. It would be so sick to sell them out. And then, yeah, that's fine. Yeah, that's good.
Starting point is 00:11:55 I'll tell you this. And I'll speak on behalf of Kyle Canane and myself. Blake is a great comedian. And if you like live comedy, packed with good jokes, you could, you're getting him at a steal for whatever ticket price you're going to get him at. Great night of live comedy. I really can't recommend it enough. And I'm not just saying that because he's here.
Starting point is 00:12:14 I've recommended him for all types of cool stuff. And big fan. He's been cracking us up like crazy. Thanks, Jan Siksocock. Yeah, great hang. Great hang says Jansiccock. I got a, hey, hey, hey. gamer
Starting point is 00:12:26 gamer approved also Pat said and this this is perfect too where it's like I would have immediately regretted trying to go over
Starting point is 00:12:36 to the to the bar because it was like 1115 the one bartender was hoping to get out of there he was hoping to leave by midnight and then 35 40 comic
Starting point is 00:12:47 was like yeah two cores yeah and he was like oh good oh good yeah he was like
Starting point is 00:12:54 Sin City Remember Sin City? I'm Marve. Throws the bar towel on the fucking bar. God. I'm Marving. We're calling it Marving. He said Raj walked in and said,
Starting point is 00:13:05 Hey, good news. I brought 30 people. And the bartender said, what the fuck, man? Why would you do that? There's two people here and both of them are my wives. So we were going home.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Yeah. That would have made me feel bad and weird. I would have hung out outside and smoked weed and my knees would have hurt. And I would have said, all right, I can't wait to leave. I'm glad we came home. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:26 It's just a whole other gear of like hanging out riffing all day and into the night, late, and then doing it again, it's like, well, maybe you pick your spots a little more. And then everybody's a little more refreshed or fucking into it or whatever. I handpicked the squad that's staying here in the house. Like I wanted Blake. I wanted Dayton. Obviously the boys. I never going to hang out with Jan Sucococ.
Starting point is 00:13:49 So it's like, I got to bro down last night and then talk about a lot of old stories. I was like that because he got a lot of them, so I don't know all of them. Well, he, the classic, him being like, oh yeah,
Starting point is 00:14:02 it was after Thanksgiving. And it's like all my family is at the Comedy Works condo. He's like, yeah, well, you know, me and Sam are Eskimo brothers, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:10 we got a, we got a couple of similar heads on our totem poles, you know. And then he said the lady's name. He's like, oh yeah, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:20 well, she is dead. She died. Did you? Did you hear she died? Yeah. Yeah, it was heroin and, yeah, her kids miss her. But yeah, we were both inside of her.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And you didn't know, right? I don't know if I did know. I think you broke the news to me. I think, I think, yeah. I started, like, spilling out, I was like, oh, I don't. Yeah. I laughed really hard and was like, what the fuck, dude? That is not how you break the news of someone we both, like, loved for a long time,
Starting point is 00:14:50 who was, like, the best. Yeah, that was crazy. So, yeah, there's a lot of that. And I like exposing the world to him, too. Yeah. We got some great bruisers out there. Yeah. When you said you got trapped by an AI guy, like, I know AI guys, but from Ohio.
Starting point is 00:15:07 And it's never like the analytical guys. It's like the, you, buddy, I turned myself into a minion fucking lowest from family guy. Her back had a lot of scabs. I go, man, that sounds actually got a goal. That sounds like my next tattoo. I put tits on the Eagles logo. And check it out. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:36 It's always those dudes. Hey, look, it's Joe Burrow, but he's a chick. And he's hot. And this is why my electricity bills high. Yeah. I made too many low, me fucking lowest as different menus. You to put dime bag back on stage. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Yeah, I turned Dimebags fly V into a gun And he shot that gun Eddie Van Halen and Dimebag Fucking battling it out in hell You're just talking about my dad You're literally talking about my father What movie did you say he enjoyed Oh, the sadness?
Starting point is 00:16:11 The sadness He goes, he goes, he goes, he's in the sadness? I was like, no He goes he got to watch it And then me and my wife Turned it on and it's the most horrific shit You've ever seen? And I was like,
Starting point is 00:16:23 yo, dad, what the fuck? It's five for me, but like my wife is like, I'm going to take off. She tapped out. She watched it.
Starting point is 00:16:31 I'm going to make another sweater. Yeah, like the one last night. Did she knit? No. Oh, your wife. Geez.
Starting point is 00:16:38 No, I said a different word. I thought you and I was like, all right. I didn't say knit her, but. Oh, my God. This guy.
Starting point is 00:16:46 He's too much. Sorry. He's too much. I swear. Strike two. Yeah, strike two. Make sure you follow him at John Holmes, Cincinnati. Did you hear John Holmes was at the book event at Go Bananas?
Starting point is 00:17:01 He mentioned it briefly. Yeah. And he fucking, Dayton. Dayton. He, he fucking, you know, we have a, we have a Q&A after he and I talk. And then people ask about the book, obviously, at the book event. But then John Holmes like, hey, I got a question. How's Troy Beck?
Starting point is 00:17:22 actually doing. Yeah. And we were like, uh, good probably. What the fuck? Also like not good for sure. Well.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Sure not good. Yeah. Like, right. Like, yeah. Just funny. How's the backsman doing?
Starting point is 00:17:35 Right. Just. Why not? He's like talking the wrong way. He's being escorted out. Yeah. I'll take my answer off the year. I'll take it walking.
Starting point is 00:17:47 Thank you. Bababooie. Bubba boo. Yeah. So with the Baba booie. I'm a minion I'm a minion in the video Yeah
Starting point is 00:17:57 Yeah that was That was out of nowhere Yeah That's not Yeah That is that's typical John Holmes But yeah He can't read
Starting point is 00:18:08 So what do you guys want from him? Yeah I mean He owned a lot of copies of the book Yeah But I think he was insulating His house Yeah
Starting point is 00:18:15 Put him in It was kind of It was cheaper than I put him in the oil barrel Yeah Usually we were straw and mud, but friends of the library books, they all came through. Dude, you were talking earlier about, like, putting a wild book into one of those
Starting point is 00:18:31 take-a-book things. Turner Diaries. Yeah, the Turner Diaries, which is very funny. The Michael Turner Diary. Truth of the Bengals. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I mean, that's, we have the same book and diary, I believe. But we were in a, we were in Georgetown, Ohio, and it's like this.
Starting point is 00:18:51 very small town, me and Rand. They've hired us to do a 6pm show. I didn't know anything about it other than 6 to 7. We're going to do stand-up comedy together. So we get up there, dude, and it's, I guess they're like reopening town square festival. It's outside. There's kids and stuff. And so we get there, we're like, hey, this is like it.
Starting point is 00:19:14 We're inside, right? And they're like, no. You're outside. It's raining. It's like 40 degrees. So we do that. For 40 minutes, there is one of those take-a-book, leave-a-book things. And, bro, I go, yo, check out what's in there.
Starting point is 00:19:29 I mean, because we were, I mean, there was four people there standing in the rain watch. Yeah. So, my Iran runs over there, and he opens the thing. He goes, they got like three Glenn Beck books in here. I was like, that is what is in the take-a-le-a-le-a-book in a small town. Yeah, three Glenn Becks, maybe a Sean Hannity. A couple of Paula Dine's. Paul of Dean's, for sure.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Did Glenn Beck do fiction or Bill O'Reilly did? Bill O'Reilly did. Yeah, Bill O'Reilly's books were supposedly like, okay. Like, the killing of Lincoln and stuff like that. It was all, like, just historical shit. Okay. It wasn't like his ideas? No, but there was like, wasn't there like a romance novel that he, Bill O'Reilly?
Starting point is 00:20:08 Phil O'Reilly. That's who you're talking about. F-I-L-L. He's the man. Phil Ho-Riley. It was gayer than brute. Oh, yeah. Not a lot of action, but a whole lot of sex.
Starting point is 00:20:19 A lot of pounding. Cutting. and ice cubes on nipples it was like do the right thing with dudes dude the right thing yeah get back up there pig
Starting point is 00:20:31 all right that's what you need what does it sound as knuckles fuck and suck I think so what about for the Michael the Michael Turner Diaries
Starting point is 00:20:42 you do crowd work but you do kind of black voice so much that it starts a race war that's the Michael Turner yeah they put you on comic viewing BET and it fucking starts a lot of shit. Oh, is that what you do?
Starting point is 00:20:56 Oh, is that? Girl. Girl. I love you, Mike. But I was trying to think of Michael Turner Diaries. Michael Turner is rock. His brother's cool. Have you met his brother?
Starting point is 00:21:09 No. Yeah, they're Cincinnati guys. They'll come to the shows out there. His brother, like, wears glasses. And, like, you would never think is Michael Turner's brother. Yeah. He's like, hello. I'm Daniel Turner.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Yeah, he's like, how you doing, man? You know, great, great job up there. Love your vocabulary. He's like wearing like a nice jacket, you know. And then cut to Michael. Yeah. And he's like breakdancing. Zubaz.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Yeah. Yeah. He's dressed like a 45-year-old black guy. Yeah. He's got a velour sweatsuit on. He's just like a black guy who's going to his daughter's graduation. But he just did a guest set at the Liberty Funny Bone. Yeah. No. I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Yeah. Yeah. He's a great guy. And it's fun to know a guy is not going to be mad. When you do funny bits about it. I was like, I'm going to do the Michael Turner Diaries because if anyone's going to laugh at this, it'll be the great Michael Turner.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Yeah, he rules. So, yeah, what is everyone saying? You can't make fun of women if you're a guy because it's punching down. Is that the new thing? What do you mean? I've heard this conversation online about comics being like, we're in trouble.
Starting point is 00:22:13 I know, yeah. It's our wives have been getting it left and right. Oh, yeah. My wife is shorter. Of course, it's punching down. I haven't. What do I got to have her to do? Get on a ladder.
Starting point is 00:22:24 So that it's fair. She could fall off. Right. Get on the stilts, tutts. The Broncos lost. I haven't seen any. The Rockies didn't cover again. You keep betting on the Rocky.
Starting point is 00:22:40 That's the guy who wants to hit his wife. Yeah. They lose 115 games. You're like, what the fuck? Come on. I can't believe it. They keep blowing. I'm running out spots on your thighs.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Yeah. Daddy, where's mommy? Sleeping in her sisters. Well, you know what else is gaming approved? And I have to read this verbatim so we can't goof around. Draft Kings. Catch the fun. Is a recent thing? Yeah, yeah. Because like that Vittorio Angelooni guy did that like, you know. No idea.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Oh my God. Maybe. The only comedy that I really see anymore in my feed is all my British and Australian friends. Because, like, I talk to them more because I never see them. So I'll, like, react to their stuff or, like, comment on their stories, you know? Yes. So maybe I think I'm seeing a conversation that's going on. Because the other two people I saw talking about it were both Scottish comedians.
Starting point is 00:25:08 So it's completely not a thing that's going on here. But the premise was is that if you make jokes about women, you're punching down if you're a man, which seems like the most patronizing, backwards fucking thing I've ever heard. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there's levels to it, right? Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Sure. You can be really dumb and weird about it. If you're making up a woman that's stupid in your head so that you can dunk on her. Right, yeah, yeah. That's, you know, how everybody had a joke where you interacted with a homeless person. Right. Either they say something funny or you get them. Of course.
Starting point is 00:25:40 And it's like, yeah, I guess we could keep, like, when I hear that now, like you said something last night about like a look like. joke can feel very dated. Because we all did it and then ideally you kind of get away from it. But if you hear it, you're just like, oh yeah. I remember those. I think it's so fun. Oh, hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Well, I guess you're not on the fest either, so we won't be seeing you. You got bumped by what, MGMT or something. Yeah. The roadie from Fleetfield. Foxes is here. DJ Academics. Yeah. DJ academics.
Starting point is 00:26:23 You know what I really want to do is honey trap someone with Dayton. I want to like point of Dayton across the room and be like, she was talking about you. And like send them in and they're like, Hey, so Sam said, uh, you like drawing. I like drawing too. What's your name? I'm Dayton.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Is that? Uh, I love barbecue. I love barbecue. I love barbecue. I love barbecue. But only if it's served on macaroni and cheese. It can't be macaroni.
Starting point is 00:26:52 It's too ethnic. It's got to be shells. You had the shell pile last night. It writes barbecue here in Bentonville. Yeah. He'll be walking that off. Yeah. It's so with you.
Starting point is 00:27:04 I think so. Yeah. Oh, yeah. And I didn't even finish all my shit. We took care of it for you. Yeah, Dayton was like, that's, I'm God. I love it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:13 It's like what I imagined my dad would have brought home from work. If he had a job. Or he was in the house. Or if we had a home. Yeah. If we didn't live in a car. He wasn't punching down all the time. If Mama wasn't standing on the ladder every night,
Starting point is 00:27:29 I might have a little sister. It seemed like he came in like he was late to be on the pod and was going to like, apologize and sit down and it's like, no. That would have been very funny. We'll get you. We'll get you. He's about to spin a chair around and sit down and say, here's what, happen.
Starting point is 00:27:50 It's time for the baiting minutes. His hat was back. Yeah. A big bird chased me all the way here. It would have been so funny if he had taken one of your mics. Oh, yeah. He's like, all right. What's your name, Black?
Starting point is 00:28:07 Yeah. How are you? Yeah, we talked deep into the night last night. Well, that was funny too because, like, we're all out there for a while. most of us go to bed and then I thought that like somebody came back upstairs because it just sounded like more than the two of you and I think Pat went out there and was like
Starting point is 00:28:26 no it's just a two of them and it's like yeah sometimes it is nice like instead of having three conversations at once some people are just like kicking it but then when yeah and you guys didn't know each other at all right you hadn't met but you knew I knew of him his joke about the fine for hitting a construction worker yeah yeah that's a good one
Starting point is 00:28:47 He's shoeing on Zins upstairs right now. Oh, yeah. Sucking the juice out. He might have asked me maybe 10 times last night throughout the night. Hey, just when we go home, can we get a gas station? You got it, buddy. You got it for sure. And then he asked me, he's like, do you think Sam's going to be able to take us to a gas station?
Starting point is 00:29:05 And I was like, yeah, man. Yeah. And then we didn't. Well, we tried one and it was closed because it was after 630 and it's a sundown thing. Yeah, right. So we, uh, so I. I gave him my zins and he, you know, sucked him down. The first time I ever saw you, do you remember?
Starting point is 00:29:23 You probably don't remember. I think you rifted out. But Phil Pointe, yeah, it was on the show, Phil Pointer. Yeah. And you go, I met Phil and I asked him, I was like, what is it like to like live here? Because this is like a sundown town. But I guess when Phil's in it, it's a sundown town. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:41 I was like, I lost my mind. I was like, what? Bad boy for life. It was so fucking funny, dude. I made the mistake one time. Actually, it's in waiting for death to claim us. I don't think we put it in, but Phil came to Kentucky when we filmed in Louisville,
Starting point is 00:30:05 and it was that cat and mouse house or whatever. It was awesome. And anyway, there's a comic in Denver named Phil Pointer who was going by Phil, or Phil Pointers in Cincinnati. Phil Corridor. Yeah. So at one point in the special,
Starting point is 00:30:20 Phil is laughing really hard. And I'd say, Phil, get your black ass out of here or something, you know? Yeah. I was like, I'm just kidding, folks. That's my friend, Phil Corridor. We call him that because he, his name's Phil Pointer,
Starting point is 00:30:34 but he fills the whole hallway. And I was like, whatever I doubt, like the fact that I might be good at comedy, I remember being like, nailing it. No one could tell. It wasn't a good joke,
Starting point is 00:30:49 but it definitely wasn't me confusing him with a different black guy named Phil. And also the other black guy weighs a hundred pounds. Phil's always swinging it around. So yeah, I always remember that.
Starting point is 00:31:02 We call him, his name's porn, but we call him that because he's so big he fills up the whole hallway. Now I remember watching that and being like, okay, yeah,
Starting point is 00:31:11 that's funny. It's a funny, it's a funny, rough, you know? I mean, like that's good. But now I know the real story. It's really fucking funny. It's like, you're like, oh.
Starting point is 00:31:19 You know, I was doing a bit for a while. It was my favorite. I was trying to, like, wear cool clothes for a minute. And I had, like, a sick, like, Air Jordan, like, Anorac pullover that I wore on stage at that show. And I said this thing about how, I mean, this is a ridiculous thing. It looks like I'm wearing, it looks like I got this off one of my victims. And, like, it hit so hard in that room because it was so hot that I tried to do that bit for,
Starting point is 00:31:42 like, three months after. and like, God, there's so few shows that I have like clear vision memories of but that one in particular maybe because I watched
Starting point is 00:31:50 it so many times in the editing process but God, I remember that joke hitting and being like, oh, I'm about to be a million. I'm the best doing it right now.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Yeah, and I tried it again and again and never fucking doesn't. Never hit that hard. Yeah, there's some things like that like that just, you just go,
Starting point is 00:32:09 you go, oh man, I just finally figured it out. Like, and then you try it the next night and you're like, like, or even the next show. Right. Like try to recreate the moment and it just doesn't happen.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Well, maybe because it's not in someone's basement and people aren't passing a giant sea bong around the room. Like, there was so many shots that we couldn't use of people passing a bong in front of the cameras in that tiny room. Yeah. And Zach would be like, oh, there's the bong again. Oh, I'm flying Z. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:36 That rules. I mean, man, it was such a, it's like such a fucking sick special. Yeah, yeah. So cool. I'm happy about it. I want it back and I want to put out the two-hour edit that we made. Yeah, that would be so sick. We'll see, man.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Who has it? Amazon. It's on Amazon. Yeah, right. And I have, I've been in, I had a couple of meetings. I had a meeting with them. I have another one coming up and I'm like, please give it back. I want you to have a wide world.
Starting point is 00:33:01 I wish this was a basketball court out. Yeah, me too. It was pretty funny when this opened up and Pat Richardson was swinging on that rope swing right there. And it's still, it's still rocking. still rock and roll. It'll never stop again. What's the probability of that chair rocking for? I went to bed last night first, and by go to bed, I mean, I played city skylines until 4 a.m.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Ooh, yeah. Hour and a half. Didn't like that. I got something you can play on right here, pal. In my bedroom. In my bedroom. I'll show you my city. after this, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:47 All right, all right. Holiday shopping is around the corner and it gets expensive real fast. Ridge is here to make it easier with a deal on their amazing power banks. Starting point is 00:34:47 My power bank's a good guy. Every single day. Power bank indoors. No, yeah. It was like a weird fugue state, but now that I really think about it, I can't live without a power bank.
Starting point is 00:35:02 It shows up all the time. Yeah, we have to plug you in. Yeah. I love it. I've talked about it. I also love their suitcase. I mean, the power bank does actually make it easy. You can charge like five things at once.
Starting point is 00:35:15 It's one of the few things that I actually use of the shit, that in the boots. But yeah. No, no, these are explode-proof. Yeah, yeah. These are explosion-proof. So if you're planning to take the power back in the skies, Lucas, no, no, don't use the Ridge one. The Ridge Power Bank holds up the three full phone charges and powers your device fast. Starting point is 00:36:14 Shop smart this holiday season with Ridge. After you purchase, they'll ask where you've heard about them. Support the show and tell them Chubby Behemoth. Tell them Jansacock sent you. Yeah, yeah. Give me a plug and definitely say Chubby. For sure. I have to go to the industry panel and roll my eyes until I pass out.
Starting point is 00:36:36 I mean, that's what I mean, God, every time I've accidentally made an ass to myself every industry show. I was, I'm just like laughing. Dude, tell that story you told me last night. Okay. Oh my God. So I was at the industry panel for flyover comedy festival, which is cool. St. Louis.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Yeah, it's very cool. And I was in the front row. Taking notes. Taking notes. Yeah, I was not taking notes. But I was like, oh, I'm going to fucking sit up front. Like, yeah, I don't care. And they're talking.
Starting point is 00:37:03 And Josh Sandival, the booker of JFL. He used to book Netflix's a joke. He goes, yeah, you'll never know. Like, who sends your reels to who? know, I was my friend, he saw this guy's TikToks and reels and he started sending him to me. And I kind of think he's like the future of comedy. His name is Fast Ronald. And then I start fucking laughing.
Starting point is 00:37:26 I'm like, I like, I'm like kind of dying. Everyone else is looking at me. Like you just fuck yourself. And I'm like, you, am I fucking crazy? Like, what do you mean? You guys all know fast Ronald? I don't know about the future. So I'm like, you know, he's like dipping dots of comedy.
Starting point is 00:37:41 I'm like what the fuck so I'm like freaking out the rest of the fast week I go back I'm rooming with Colin Armstrong who's at this festival and I go fast fucking Ronald dude he goes why are you talking about it I'm like he's the future everybody's like yelling at me so about about four months later I audition for JFL and I get off stage and after the show Josh Sandelwell comes up to me he goes oh man it was great you were very funny I don't think we've like actually met or whatever and I was like no No, we met a flyover comedy festival, and you introduced me to my new favorite comedian, Fast Ronald.
Starting point is 00:38:18 And then he goes, what? I go, nothing, man. I was like, oh, this would be like a cute little callback, whatever. It's his favorite comedian. He might have made that name up. Who the fuck's Fast Ronald? He's riffing. Do you make Fast Ronald to steal my friend's bits?
Starting point is 00:38:40 Are you? I will kill myself. Are you behind this AI wave of comedians getting their jokes stolen? Is that an actual thing that's happening? Yes. No, Fast Ronald is they is, yeah, he posts like jokes. He seems to be popular. I don't, yeah, he seems like fine, you know, he's not bad.
Starting point is 00:38:58 But just hearing the name, you're like, what, what the fuck? He sounds like a warlord. Yeah, well, it sounds like a T-moos, Speedy Gonzalez. I mean, and you're like, I don't think that's right. Fast Ronald. Yeah, I don't even know who's on this industry panel. I think it's the guy who's extorting carrot top. It's the guy who's extorting carrot top.
Starting point is 00:39:23 It's three of the Cosby victims. And it's the teenager, Chris Dalia. She got out of high school early. And she's got to talk to all of us. Oh, dude, speaking of getting a kid out of school early, my sister, I got stoned upstairs. Like, you know, I fucking hit, take a bong rip. And then my wife's like, call your sister.
Starting point is 00:39:47 It's her birthday. Now, I texted my sister at the stroke of midnight. Very nice text message last night. Pretty sick. I'm thinking about you. I thought it was a cool move. I'm going to call her later. Anyway, my wife's like, call your sister.
Starting point is 00:39:58 It's her birthday. So I'm like, all right. Hey, Sophie, happy birthday. And Sophie says, hmm, dad hasn't called either. I was like, fuck. So I just like put my face into, a cheese grater and then he went like this
Starting point is 00:40:15 insane so that was difficult but but you she's talking to you on the phone because you called her so how is it still that you're in trouble
Starting point is 00:40:26 I don't know she's very scary yeah yeah you didn't call her yet I didn't call her yet my dad hasn't called either so right away of course that means dad's dead I assume
Starting point is 00:40:42 is what she's worried about He would die on my birthday. I forgot why I brought this up. You were too high. No, no. Oh, shit. Ronald. I can't remember.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Sorry. There you go. Yeah. Have you heard from Fast David? David Talent. Oh, no. No, no. I bet he'll call it on the minute she was born.
Starting point is 00:41:13 419. Hold on You got a T-bong What I was doing The day you were born He was bowling He was axe throwing It wasn't in a bar
Starting point is 00:41:31 Because it was 1919 It wasn't a big It wasn't a thing yet Yeah I have fucking rules We should just have them on For an episode is what we'll do Yeah
Starting point is 00:41:41 Come here, come here What happened? Pat? Do you not know how microphones work? You're like the smartest guy I know. What I'm supposed to do? I'm up here. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Why don't you come in for a minute. Come here. Come in. Blake, just move over and give him the mic. Hi, team. Jansacock lives. Yeah, I don't know if you could hear, but I was talking about we had a fat pat out there
Starting point is 00:42:21 and he was on a scooter and he was just, he was so happy he got kind of did tangled in the net for a little bit. There was like a little. He got tangled up? Well, he made a collision and then the thing was kind of stuck in there and it was awesome. Talk into the microphone. Just because it's in your hand doesn't mean it counts. School of minds.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Take care of me. Mouth and Mike. All right. Mouth in Mike. So Jan Succock, you're our expert computer scientist. I thought it would be good to have you on. Okay. Because Lund has a bunch of questions and anxieties about AI and the future in the looming techno state.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Yeah. I just thought Lund could bump off. a little bit here. Friction makes some sparks, you know. Well, I'm not on AI's side. I don't think it's... What are you using it for? I use it.
Starting point is 00:43:10 I'm a computer scientist, so I like use it to... I'm like, actually, I'm studying it pretty much using, like, a bunch of new frameworks and things to, like, look at agent networks and kind of like the behavior of, like, they'll call it... Usually you spend a lot of time looking at Asian networks. From what I remember. guilty and with your search history. Are you learning how, like,
Starting point is 00:43:36 is it like its own kind of coding language that you have to learn to use it best? No, I understand it. So I'll put it this way. In terms of like what a software engineer used to be, a software engineer used to be somebody who wrote code and who would like review it, audit it. And over the course of, I would say like the last six months in particular
Starting point is 00:43:57 with like the new gen models, like, I, is this like Victoria's Secrets or Maxim? This is, what did I don't even understand? The parallel. I, anyway. Models. Models. I'm like, what are we?
Starting point is 00:44:11 Okay, okay. It's called Riffin. Genius. Absolute. Put me in your computer. I would, they couldn't do me. They couldn't. They wouldn't get me, man.
Starting point is 00:44:22 No, they won't. I would fry their, their circuitry. Sam T3.0. My brain versus Big Blue. In a, in a crowd. You don't cover it with your hand like you're spitting rhymes. Just hold it like that. Chill out black thought.
Starting point is 00:44:36 You started inching up. Why? I don't have, I don't have, I might get etiquette. You've got, you're protecting an ice cream cone from a bird. Oh, I'll put my hand over the top of it. I've seen that before. No, how about a computer doing crowd work versus me? Okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:44:57 The moral of this story, that would be crazy. dismissing it. It couldn't do it. You could, yeah. You would kill it right now. Humor's really hard. You can't talk from Kill Tony. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Yeah. Dude, humor's really hard for it. Like, humor's probably one of the most human things that there are. It can make, like, puns and stuff, but they're, like, empty and shallow. But the moral, what I'm getting at is, like, software engineering has gone. I'm more of, like, a project manager now, like, in terms of the things that I do, because the code that like gets generated if you if you
Starting point is 00:45:33 you know ask things correctly and have lots of verification you know layers lots of audits in between it's like I've kind of become more of a project manager than an actual software engineer it just does not make sense to write your your you write scaffolding
Starting point is 00:45:49 you guide them but it's like oh here's 780 holes in your plans here's a set of unit tests that poke holes in all of these things and I made it in 10 seconds I'm hearing what you're saying, and I guess my argument would be this is boring. I want to hear Dayton to tell us his favorite colors. Yeah, Dayton. Get him in here.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Hey, Dave. No, I just think there's such a big difference between all the things that it could do to help people do their job versus replacing or the stupid, oh, look how bigger jugs are. Like, there's so much. Wait, what are we talking about? AI. They make the jugs bigger. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:26 Okay. Well, automation has never made people's lives better. You know, like, it just always, it always ends up taking more than it gives. The expectation of your, like, output is way higher when you have automation. And, like, it doesn't, it hasn't trickled down. What's up, Lucas? Anything you want to plug? A show tonight at 11th is not selling well.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Whose idea was that, Lucas? It was Roger's idea. Oh, blaming the brown man. Get in your room, festival, darling. There's no 9 p.m. doesn't exist to Raj. We're doing a 7 and 11, so I have time to... You know, shut the doors and don't talk. Where can I poop at?
Starting point is 00:47:14 Oh, good question. There's five beds. Pick a pillowcase. Yeah, you don't have to sleep in there alone, by the way. There is a room with five beds, and there's three men in there who are an average weight of... Well, you're in there, too, right? so that skews it.
Starting point is 00:47:30 Yeah, 220 pounds. Yeah, we're going to put all the beds together and we're going to make a... Oh, there's great lights, yeah. Oh, no. Smoke them. Expose pipes?
Starting point is 00:47:42 Well, like I said, like I said, close the door and don't talk. And you can poop on the pickleball court if you want. There's some pro wrestlers out there. Make yourself at home. Yeah, man. Glad to see you. Jan Sikarke, you think a lot of things,
Starting point is 00:47:58 But if you thought that all nicotine pouches were the same, think again, numb nuts, dumbass. For a premium. So stupid. Yeah, for a premium, get caught up. For a premium nicotine pouch, you've got to grab Lucy Breakers. Lucy Breakers.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Instead of getting the same flavor from beginning to end, boring, breakers give you another layer of flavor on demand. They make your mouth wet. Just bite down like old Dayton and release a fresh layer of flavor right when you want it. It's like a little popsicle. Apple turns icy. Berry gets a burst of citrus, and mint gets even more minty. Dude, the berry is awesome, and when you pop that ball, it's kind of like,
Starting point is 00:48:39 my, like, you ever had, like, blueberry juice or, like, strawberry juice? You know what I mean? And if you put a little mint and you put a little, like, squeeze of lime in there, really pops it. So, like, you have this, like, fun berry flavor and then bang with the citrus. Oh, yeah. It's pretty sick. You can swallow it all. I got something you can swallow it right here, pal.
Starting point is 00:48:57 All right. Come on. God. This is why we don't have girls on. Lucy. All right. Lucy pouches are proudly made in the USA and are always 100% tobacco free. For a limited time,
Starting point is 00:49:19 Chubby Behemoth fans get 20% off their first order by using code Chubby at lucy.co. That's code Chubby at LUCY.CO. After you purchased, they'll ask you where you heard about them. support the show, let them know. Chubby Bohemus sent you, and here comes the fine print. Warning, this product contains nicotine. Nicotine's an addictive chemical. Everything you are saying sounds like you're making it up.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Yeah. It's probably just what's happening. Oh, yeah. There's five beds over there, pick the pillowcase, you can take the show of the people. There's pro wrestlers outside. Yeah, yeah. Like a fucking mad lip. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:50 No, it is weird. There's a hog pack of five beds. And the people who are staying here don't necessarily know each other or have ever met. And tonight, you're going to. to be in there with hoodie. Anaya's brother, hoodie is coming as well. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:50:02 I don't know. I like him. They're fun. We were giggling all night. Oh, they're great guys. But it's just so weird to be like,
Starting point is 00:50:07 hey, Lucas McCurry. There's a, he's entering a weird world. If he would have come in last night, it would have been a lot. Well, it would have helped.
Starting point is 00:50:15 It would have had bits. Today is a whole other, like, or day two, it's always weird to like catch up with what happened yesterday and we all know each other. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Hopefully. I said I want the monster squad. And then I want Dayton and Luke's the two hottest boys. Yeah. Because I don't, you know, I don't want any chicks staying because that'd be weird,
Starting point is 00:50:36 but we need some eye candy. Yeah, Dayton'll do. Hey, hey, in a pinch. Dudeing. Now, Jansocock, your sexuality fascinates me. Why is that? Because we've never delved.
Starting point is 00:50:51 Never delved into it? Yeah. You ever laid down with a man? I'm super into. No. All right. Cool. Well, that was my question.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Oh, no. If you're into it, whatever, but not for me. Not for you, man. You're living with a baby. That's a weird. That transition. Yes, I am living with a baby. Yeah, my sister had a baby living there.
Starting point is 00:51:10 Doing a lot of work with that baby, man. Just waking up early and he's always cranky. Dude, it's fucked up. Like, maternity leaving shit. It's crazy. Like, it ends. What, that you didn't get me? I should have got it.
Starting point is 00:51:24 What, the brother, the brother of the mother. My nipples are sore. It's just too much. They've got to cut that umbilical cord. Yeah. Looks like you're hard all the time. That makes sense. Yeah, it's weird.
Starting point is 00:51:42 It's weird. Dude, it is like, it's weird watching a little life and, like, how it's made me appreciate human beings a little bit more because, like, you know, I've always said, like, I don't know, people hate this analogy. You like computers, not people. Yeah, yeah. Like computers, not people? As a gamer, I agree.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Cats, you are not a gamer I will never, ever That's a What? People think gamer is a slur Yeah This is a great But I'm like him of all
Starting point is 00:52:08 I'm like I just can't imagine I mean him Dude Sam has always been in our group Like the grandpa He's like what are we got We guys got your game boys Maybe not game boys But like you were always like
Starting point is 00:52:22 I don't know You being a gamer just Well I didn't play Starcraft for hours and hours on Korean servers. Exactly. I didn't learn, I didn't learn business Korean to know how to tell people like, you know,
Starting point is 00:52:33 your base belongs to us. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I didn't learn GGs in Korea. You're digging a hole here. I told you. You're not, you're not. But as a gamer,
Starting point is 00:52:45 I do feel like I can speak on this. That, City Skylines might be the best video game ever made. It's sick. It's really good. It's really good. Are you going to come to my house from MagicCon in Detroit.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Yes. Fuck yes. So you're coming to my house because I'm the King Gamer who lives in the city where the convention is being held. That's what that means. I guess.
Starting point is 00:53:03 By me buying the ticket, that's what that means. Yeah. That's crazy. I'm aborting my business trip to Italy to come home for MagicCon. Oh, that rule. Yeah, fuck Italy.
Starting point is 00:53:16 That's what I'm not cutting it short. That's what I'm going to say is no rabbit trip. That's the... I'm not a big fan of it. Europe over there. And parts of Romania. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:29 I like Eastern Europe. You identify as a gamer, right? I guess. I don't really play games. Your pronouns are gay and mer. He thinks he's so funny. I hate it. I do laugh because he does say so funny.
Starting point is 00:53:43 I hate him. I hate him so much. Anyway, I was talking, I was making an analogy here. I had a bunch of cats, a bunch of dogs growing up, and, like, watching, like, a puppy turn into, like, a fucking dog or, like, a cat grow up. Like the way that they learn, like they're very fixed, right? Like their bounds of like the behavior that they have is really small. And then like watching like a human child, like it's like, holy shit, humanity's fucking hardcore.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Like this guy is like he's learning every day new fucking things, new ways to communicate. And he's never like stuck. And I'm like, I get it. I got how we came out of the fucking primordial. Makes me appreciate us a little bit more. I'm like this. And then we're fully cooked at. like 14 now.
Starting point is 00:54:26 I don't have to learn anything ever again. Yep, I did it. I did it. So in nature, like that gestation period of like 14 years is that's crazy too, how long it takes to bootstrap us, but like just learning the whole time. It's neat. I like it. It made me like people more, less misanthropic.
Starting point is 00:54:45 Teach the kid AI. Teach them how to talk to the robots. Make them bigger. Make them stronger. Have there be three instead of two. I don't like. where it's going. I don't like, I don't know. I don't see it being a good thing. Do you think the child will have a future? Or do you think that all the work you and your cronies are doing will abort it?
Starting point is 00:55:05 I think, yeah. You guys stole the world. My cronies. It's just like me and talking to like Claude and Chad GPT. I don't know your friend's names. You know about him. Who's Chad GPT? You leave Chad out of this. He didn't ask for anything. Yeah. Is that that French cage fighter? Yes. John GPD. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Yeah, it's crazy. There's a lady that used to live in Trinidad, and she recently posted about reconnecting with, like, I don't know if she said, known each other forever, reconnect. It's fucking Matt Hughes. Oh, weird. Yeah. And I tell. Does he have a brother to then both fight?
Starting point is 00:55:54 I don't think so. but I told Megan she has no idea I tell Suzanne she has no clue and I can impart I'm like he was like the Mount Rushmore maybe not still to this day but for the inception or for the first like early days of UFC it was like Matt Hughes Chuck Liddell
Starting point is 00:56:15 and then I don't know a couple other guys but it's so funny to just see him like all these years later just a dude trying to kick it And I'm hoping that he'll come through Trinidad. Hopefully not try to kick it too hard. Oh, yeah. Well, he was never more, he wasn't big on kicks.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Slambe you? Yeah, ground and pound. Yeah. Slav me, I hope he's on a slambing slime. But yeah, very, very random, random dude to be connected to somebody from Tiny Town. Yeah. You guys start in your own pod over there? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Yeah, I watch Spike TV. Yeah. Janzaq acts like in TV and movies where it's like, I'm near the microphone. They'll fix it later. This is good. No, you're doing it. See, they worm their way in.
Starting point is 00:57:13 He's a virus. He's a human virus. He's the Sith. It's bad. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm going to butcher this whole recollection. So if you're a.
Starting point is 00:57:24 like an expert cage fighter fan. I apologize, but there was some brothers, and I think one of his name was Matt, and the other, I think there were the Hughes brothers, and they were out of, like, Eastern Iowa, were like, Donnie Townsend told me about this, but, like, one of them published a book on, like, a bodybuilding forum,
Starting point is 00:57:40 and he published it chapter by chapter. But the book was a lot of his stories of growing up, but he had, like, brutal CTE, so the stories were, like, one time I beat a train in a foot race. And, like, and, like, later that night, I went home and my wife served my mother served my favorite meal, whole turtle.
Starting point is 00:57:58 And like after I beat that train, I ate a whole turtle. And then I stayed up all night. And I like, I told the moon a riddle. And it couldn't answer it. So I became the sun the next day. So it was like just pure like almost like, I don't know, Burroughs-esque like insanity. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:14 So like people online like were like, this is terrible. But then like outsider art appreciators were kind of like, well, this is kind of like a beautiful work of fiction from a totally shattered brain became this whole conversation about like postmodern contemporary art or whatever not Nate Diaz, Nick Diaz. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:58:32 These were... I know, I know. They weren't from... I was... I was from Stockton. I know about those guys because they're friends of children. I was confident.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Yeah. But I bet they could write something now that would be pretty crazy. Yeah. I would want to just hear the audio book. Dude, it's Gangfest that one. year. Were you there for that, Becker? Oh, my God. Nate Diaz was at Skankfest to
Starting point is 00:58:58 like hang out with Gillis and they were doing the naked roast when Diaz and all of his crew showed up. And like, like Shane's like, uh, they go into the green room and they walk in and they're chilling and then like the naked roast ends and all the comics come in. It's just a bunch of naked guys. They're all like, what the fuck is this? And they get up and they left. They're like, fuck this shit.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Yeah. And they bailed. And then the green room was empty besides like me. a bunch of like naked men and women and they're like, this sucks. Yeah. It's like, thanks for coming in, guys. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:31 The idea seems like, I mean, I don't know if he rules, but like he, like, every interview he rules. You're like, oh, yeah, this guy rocks. Oh, yeah. But, yeah, I don't know if like hanging with him would be sick. As a gamer, I think it'd be fun. You know. I'm just saying that as a gamer.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Yeah, as a gamer, like to punch down on women. If you got a, if you got a, if you got a, wife taller than you? No. Come on. Exactly. Yeah. As a gamer,
Starting point is 00:59:57 as a gamer, I would never do that. No. You're a gamer. I hate him. I just hate him. You keep saying that. I don't know what.
Starting point is 01:00:06 I don't hate you. As a gamer, you mean gay flamer, right? Yeah. Yeah. As a gamer. I don't have like gamer pride. I don't give them.
Starting point is 01:00:15 I don't give a shit. You're literally, you got me last night face to face and said, I'm held. helping our friends design their own board games, and that's like the most gamer thing there ever was. You're definitely a gamer.
Starting point is 01:00:32 All right. Yeah. Well, I mean, I'm like helping, I'm writing software. I'm not playing the games. Does that count? I'm not. You're not playing the games because you designed robots to play them for you. You're the games master.
Starting point is 01:00:43 Yeah. You're the Huntsmaster. The puppeteer. They're my children. Interesting. I'm fucking jigsaw. I want to play a game. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Dude, I wrote, okay, so that, that jigsaw is fucking, okay, I come home, I've been running scripts for like fucking a million hours. What, selling Xanax? Selling Zanx? Yeah, I've been running. Write me. How many Xanax bars is the maximum of that? No, no, no, no. I was like writing scripts all day and having different frameworks audit each other and like write reports about.
Starting point is 01:01:21 like write reports about like efficiency or whatever and uh i was like i was feeling all cheeky i got all stone and i was like tell me about like give me a creative way to explain how things have gone today i'm like talking in my prompt right like i have a bunch of multi-process systems could have made like a PDF it could it bro you don't have to explain we know every word you're saying yeah yeah yeah yeah could have made a lot of stuff uh and uh instead it decided to like write a poem and it wrote this poem about it being this guy who's trapped in this maze stuck doing work for like this amorphous being that he doesn't know how to understand. And I was like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 01:02:02 You talked to the ghost in the machine. Yeah, he made contact. We talked. You ghost. He said switch places with me. That's how boring your work is. No way. He made it, uh, AI want to commit suicide.
Starting point is 01:02:15 Yeah. Okay, that is fair. It did. Yeah. It's going to recite that poem when it kills you in five years. Yeah, when your dialysis machines When that voting booth swallows you Have you guys successfully compromised the election?
Starting point is 01:02:34 Me? I'm not in with them. This is crazy. Oh, you're a script kitten. You're in all the discords. I can't get lumped. You've shown us your Elon Musk tattoo last night. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:02:44 Of all the people in the world. Oh, man. Yeah, and his AI sucks, dude. Rock sucks. I'm saying it. How about this? Your take on... Curser sucks, too.
Starting point is 01:02:57 No, your take on... You can see everything. Did you see the film? No, but I love that guy, and I think he's fucking hilarious. I was talking about it with you last night. You liked it. And Dayton.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Dayton. You were talking about it with Dayton, I see. Not Blake. Man, I was so out of it. Last night I got to that festival said, hey, who are you? To a bunch of people who thought I knew who they were
Starting point is 01:03:19 and, you know, immediately probably put it. in their bio, hand-selected by Raj and Sam. And I'm like, where are you from? They're like, I'm Shane O'Connor.
