Senna.
All right, are you ready, Kristen?
You know, last time I didn't know what to expect
and you just threw me into this wild ride.
I know what to expect with Deadpool now.
So, yeah, Deadpool, too.
Let's go.
Let's go, you guys.
Don't scratch.
Cleaning up the timelines.
He's like, yeah, that version sucked.
We don't like him.
Oh my God.
Wow.
This is a DC joke because he was in that movie and it was like really bad.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
So he's like, yeah, that's no, we never did that.
It's gone.
That's hilarious.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah, I really, really liked this.
I was ready this time.
Yeah.
This time I was like, let's go.
Okay, I know what I expect.
The other one, I was my mind and like everything in me.
me was struggling.
So this time I'm like,
let's go.
I'm ready.
Right.
And I enjoyed it.
Yeah.
It was a lot of fun.
I think the first time,
for whatever reason,
the first time I watched this,
and like I don't,
I barely remember this movie at all.
The first time I watched it,
I think I kind of wanted it
to be a little bit more vulgar or whatever.
I think I was kind of expecting it.
And then I was a little bit like,
come on, give me more, give me more.
And then I was like,
oh, that it was sweet.
Yeah, it was really sweet.
I think I really like that about it
because ultimately it has a lot
of heart it's kind of like what was it
who said that to him was it cable
who said that oh you're just kind of
hiding all of your pain
with humor and stuff yeah and so
it's like yeah there's a lot of on the
surface stuff like really funny jokes
and just crass humor and
violence and everything but at its heart
it's also a love story and it's also
about family he wasn't lying when he said it was about family
and yeah it was really sweet you know
I love when they take jabs at things
that are supposed to be outside of this movie
that we get. I love it.
But don't come after my Wolverine.
Like, I was like, damn!
Shots fired! And I almost, like,
want them to be in it to, like,
just fight back with bullshit.
Uh-huh.
And then part of me wishes, like, while I watch Deadpool 2,
I caught myself, like, wanting to just talk to him,
and be like, yeah?
Da-da-da-da-la-la.
And, like, talk shit back and forth, and it would be so fun.
And I just, I think he was even more enjoyable this round just because I was ready for it.
Yeah.
And like, I knew what to expect.
Where like the first one was just like, why?
Yeah.
But I thought this was really cute.
It was really cute.
I don't know why.
This one was really cute.
The other one was just mind-blowing.
This one was actually cute.
I like both of them.
This one, I had a lot more fun with.
And I think also they did a really good job of just kind of narrowing down.
the team to so that it was just like people that we actually cared about you know like they gave
each of the characters enough time that we could form a bond with them yeah and like we really
appreciated them although it was funny when he made the X-Force team and then like everybody just died
and we had that cool cameo with Brad Pitt who I completely forgot oh yeah that was epic yeah I love that
it was Brad Pitt getting elected I was like what I know it was wild and so it was like yeah
a lot of the time our complaint when we're watching these like superhero movies is when they
have too many characters and it's like you you don't give enough time to actually yeah to care
about people and so they were kind of like oh we're gonna have so many characters just kidding we're
gonna kill a whole bunch of them so that there's only the core group that you care about thank you
for doing that yes because i yeah it would have just been way too much but yeah i i enjoy lucky
i didn't think uh lucky scenes actually domino domino domino lucky domino whatever you
want to call her. I actually really enjoyed her scenes because all I kept thinking was,
just keep going because you're going to, you're fine. Like she gave the ease, but I enjoyed it
because I liked seeing like all the ways they're going to save her. It was really creative. Yeah,
I liked it. Yeah, there was like a lot of really creative stuff that they were doing with the
action, which obviously it being David Leach, I'm like not surprising at all. He's really become
known for his really great directing of action. And so yeah, that that was just a great
example of that here and especially the stuff with Domino because you do wonder like when
she said oh yeah my power is I'm lucky your brain kind of goes yeah that's a bullshit power but
actually it's not it was not it was actually one of the best powers yeah it's possibly had and
I love that they brought the old lady back she was one of my favorites in the first one yeah I think
she's so funny but I love how she's like so and he's like yeah it's like his little his weird
little family yeah she's so great I was a little bit upset though
that we had to kill Vanessa at the beginning.
I thought that was messed up.
That was kind of messed up.
Because I really like her and I love her relationship with him.
Yeah, I was hoping that a child was going to be involved.
I mean, a child was involved, but not the child that I...
That you wanted.
You wanted them to have a baby.
Yes, I did.
That would have been really cute.
And I wanted that baby to be insane.
I wanted to be the biggest little monster, like, but like a funny one, you know?
It probably would be.
I know.
I wanted it so bad, like, but that's okay.
Yeah, I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed this one a lot.
And I have to give props to the young man.
Our young kid who played Russell, I thought he was great.
Julian Denison, Firefist.
He was cute.
He was really sweet.
And I, you know, he was really just giving a lot.
And he committed to everything 100%.
Yeah.
And so I really appreciated that.
because, like, I think because the movie is so funny,
it's funny because everybody is committing 100% super seriously to their roles.
And, like, for such a young actor to, you know, fully go there and, like, he's crying and he's, like, fully embracing his dark side and everything.
He really sold it for me.
Yeah, I loved him.
I thought his lines were great.
Remind me of, what is her real name?
Who?
Fan Amy.
Oh.
What's her real name?
Rebel Wilson.
Thank you. He reminds me of her if she was like as a male version. That was like a male version of her.
And that's what I love so much about it. And almost made me want her in it with him.
That would been fun. Because that would have been really funny. But I thought his little lines that he delivered were so stinking cute. I loved him.
Yeah. I really liked him a lot. I don't think they could have done better with him. Yeah.
That was a solid cast. It's really, really, really solid cast. Super, super fun movie. And looking to,
forward to part three.
I'm not telling you anything that I know about part three because I really want you to be
surprised.
So yes,
there is more.
So hopefully you guys will stick around for our part three reaction, which will be coming
very soon, I'm sure.
So,
yeah,
let us know your thoughts about this movie.
Which one was your favorite?
Deadpool 1 or Deadpool 2?
I'm conflicted right now.
Yeah, I don't know.
I think I like them both.
I'm conflicted right now, honestly.
they're both really fun yeah really fun movies and i i love ryan reynolds he's so funny and i love
every time he gets to do ryan reynolds and i think as i've said before deadpool is like the
perfect vehicle for ryan reynolds doing ryan reynolds so i'm i'm very happy i hope you guys are too
anyway that's it for now see you very soon i'm a chara kirk this is christin stevenspino
