Senna.
Pal!
We continue with Amazon's fallout season one, episode two.
Here we go.
Aye, ay, aye.
Corotie Melody!
Another fun, delightful episode.
I'm not being facetious.
Delightful, maybe is the wrong word.
There's this thing that people always have a concern about,
or at least it used to be a concern, which is when there's a video game adaptation, usually it's just
awful. It's not good. And so far, this is shaping up to be a very interesting and compelling
show. It's definitely delivering on story and entertainment characters as well. I didn't think
that it would move this quickly, though. I wasn't expecting them to kind of all come together
already in the second episode. Yeah. I think I expected it to kind of be more like three different
storylines for a little bit, and then maybe they come together in the next or in the fourth episode,
but they went straight for it. Well, to be fair,
they haven't quite come together yet.
They've crossed paths.
Sure.
A little bit different.
I was a little surprise that the Brotherhood of Steel guy died from the bear like attack
because it's not like his armor got pierced and it can stand up to bullets.
And so I'm like, how did he die exactly?
Was it the head trauma?
It looks like, yeah, internal bleeding probably.
Like he must have just hurt himself inside the suit.
Gotcha.
That makes sense.
He seemed like a pretty inept night anyway.
I didn't like him at all.
I did feel kind of bad for being.
like,
ah,
you're a shit head.
But, like,
he was such a bully.
And it's not really
knightlike behavior
when you think about it
to be like,
hey, squire,
you go on ahead
and check it out for me.
Yeah.
When the squire doesn't even have
any armor on him.
Yeah, he was such a douchebag.
So, honestly,
wasn't sad that he died.
It wasn't nightlike behavior
in the slightest.
No.
And, you know,
our young dude recognized that
immediately.
At that point,
it's like he's fighting
for his own survival.
You know,
it's self-defense in a way,
not giving him the stimpact
because the thing is,
if he gave it to him,
the knight would have just turned him over
and gotten him killed.
Sure.
But then again,
it also raises that other question mark
about what happened in the first episode.
It's still there about whether he's the type of guy
that is capable of hurting his bestie
in order to get something that he wants
because here he was presented with another opportunity
to achieve his dream.
And all he had to do was just wait a little.
If you were really noble, you would probably have been like, okay, well, the right thing to do is to save a life.
So he's not that.
But it's a wild world that these characters live in, you know.
Exactly.
It's insane.
The goal is an interesting character because the way he started out was this like very humble dad, you know, just trying to make a book to get by right before the apocalypse happens.
And now he is just wicked dangerous.
He is a very scary, what seems to be so far, a villain, you know?
But everything's kind of gray in this world
He's probably more than he appears
And obviously the fact that
He brought the dog back to life
Makes me like him a little bit more
That's fair
The doctor, I kind of wish the doctor hung on a little sooner
I kind of wish the doctor held on a little bit longer
Because it's just like the moment he showed up
He basically bounced within one episode
He had so much information, so much data just died with him
And I'm like, oh
No, not necessarily, right?
I mean, I don't know
Because he said something about like
He has so much information
but you can just take my head, so which makes me think, like, maybe they can extract all the information from his brain.
I was wondering about that. Yeah, no, I was wondering about that when he said, just take my head.
The first thing I thought of was God of War, but, yeah, but you're, no, you're right.
Like, because that crossed my mind.
Like, what if they can just, like, re-bring him back to life?
Yeah, just, like, plug him into something.
Sure.
And then he just starts talking.
Yeah.
But overall, I think that the episode is quite enjoyable.
And it's, like, it's a very compelling story that they've been developing so far, you know?
It's like, I just want to see where this all head.
And that makes me happy because, you know, for years we got terrible video game adaptations.
And so it's a relief to be now in an era where we're actually seeing stuff that is not just trash.
Regardless of whether or not you are familiar with the IPs, so long as the show can stand on its own and be entertaining to win.
Well, I'm only vaguely familiar with the game.
I played Fallout 3 for like five days and I was just overwhelmed because of the sheer scope of it.
I basically know next to nothing is what I'm saying.
And I'm enjoying it so far.
So it makes me quite curious as to why Amazon decided to just drop it all at once as opposed to kind of spreading it out.
Now, I'm happy that we get to binge it.
That's cool.
It's just interesting because, like, there was a lot of concern, you know, that this means that it's not good.
But so far, it's been all right.
So we'll see.
Looking forward to episode three.
Thanks for hanging out.
I'm Jabby Kui.
This is.
Achara Cook.
Peace out.
