Sina. Pals.
What is up, everybody?
This is Christopis Pinot, joined by Ms. Haley.
Are you ready for this Godzilla versus Kong?
I am.
There we go.
I'm happy.
I was really worried.
One of them was going.
I feel like Godzilla's not like unreasonable.
He just was like just bow to me.
And then he was like, okay, I get it.
You helped me.
I'm not going to push it.
We're good.
You know, I'm very pleased with this one.
Because I feel like, honestly, I'm so glad that they kept it neutral.
Yes.
And they didn't make us feel one way or the other because these two creatures, you know, are very lovable.
And in some shape of form, like they came on top and they're protectors at the end of the day.
And I love that they did give us a happy ending.
I didn't think they were going to do so.
No, I thought one was going down.
I love that they gave Kong a tool.
Yes.
to make the grounds a little bit more even
and that they created a mutual enemy.
And I love that they both had their people
who were looking after them
and actually authentically care for them.
And they never even, like, interacted,
which was kind of interesting.
Like, they were in the same spot,
but they were on two different sides,
but they had the same hope.
They didn't want any craziness.
Yeah, which is actually,
I thought that was kind of cool
to keep those two storylines separate.
I thought this was great.
Yeah.
Wow.
I thought it was going to hate it.
No, I was just worried because I was like, oh, man.
Because at the very beginning, they humanized King Kong very much.
And then in the last movie, you saw Godzilla.
He wasn't, like, purposely attacking everything.
And he showing that he brought peace and, like, had the other Titans leave and said.
So I was like, oh, no, they're both good guys.
I don't want them to, like, end each other.
And then, no, I'm very happy with how that one ended.
I was struggling, man.
I was struggling.
I was like, all right, King Kong Godzilla, who's going to win?
I'm like, honestly, like, Godzilla's going to...
Which he did, but then...
But at the same time, you know, if I have to choose one,
I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, Kong to live,
but I like a bull.
Kong didn't give up.
Kong was like, I will continue on.
But I like that at the end that he laid down the weapon to show, like,
we're not going to...
We're not doing this.
Yeah, we're not going to keep continuing.
We're on the same side, so I'm happy about it.
No, I'm really, I'm really happy about it.
I really thought this was going to be a rough.
one no matter what. I thought
I was ready. I was like, I'm going to cry
if either one of them goes, I'm
going to cry. I know I am. And I love
that they created these
monster-like creatures
to be so destructive
and yet we're here
rooting for them. And it's like, like I said
in the middle of the thing, I'm like, you know how many people
died? All of Hong Kong
is gone. Unless we're on the very outskirts
majority is gone.
But we're like, it's okay.
How many places have we already destroyed?
We've destroyed San Francisco.
Well, the last movie was everywhere.
Like, the whole world was just going under in the last one.
We had Japan, Hong Kong.
Yeah, that was pretty rough.
And yet, here we are rooting for them.
Let's go.
Don't do it.
Don't hurt me.
It's not their fault.
They're so big.
No, but they don't mean to step on you.
It just happens when you're that big.
Yeah, they can't help it.
I just, I did feel, I did feel emotional and a little teary-eyed because I was just like so happy.
Yeah.
That we ended it on a good note.
But then I'm like, I know.
I could not be more thrilled and happy about this film.
And I'm just like, thank you writers.
Thank you so much for not going there.
Good job.
Thumbs up.
Thank you for allowing us to keep Godzilla and King Kong because I was like, I was so nervous.
And I mean, if you would have wiped one of them out, honestly, I don't think I could have taken it.
And I was scared that you were going to make one of them a villain in some shape of form.
And I'm like, please don't do that.
Please don't do that because we've already gone through this journey.
And they're both, you see.
You've seen their arcs.
We don't want them to.
Like they're protectors of the world and in different forms.
So I love what you all did here.
I really enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed it, too.
Again, I'm happy how it turned out.
I thought the fighting was good.
Got mad at mankind again because we suck sometimes.
I like that they brought, I really like that they brought the father and daughter back on.
So we still had that common grounds and that relationship that I think this film really needed.
You know, in order for us to stay hooked, we needed someone to return back that we feel connected to.
Yeah, so it doesn't feel like it's just like a random movie put out.
Like you have to still have some sort of characters who are like, oh yeah,
This is still the same universe.
This isn't just some completely different one.
Yeah, so I agree with it.
Yeah, no, I like that.
You guys did well.
