What's going on, everybody?
We are watching Invincible Season 2, Episode 7.
Let's get into this.
Here we go.
Oh, my God.
We had to go through all the shit of him almost dying to get here.
He's just pretending.
Yeah.
Of course.
He could break her right now.
Or is this his plan?
Get on the ship and get Nolan back.
Maybe.
And then they'll both come to Earth.
I don't know if that was always his plan.
Because he seemed like he was caught off guard, but it's certainly playing in his favor now.
Yeah.
Man, I really felt that breakup.
Really?
Yeah.
I mean, for the last couple episodes, they were really trying.
Like, they were really trying to figure out a way forward.
I was like, oh, are they going to really do this?
I thought they were going to save it for the end of the season when they broke up.
Or next season or something like that.
Yeah.
I do really like that we were taken through the paces of trying to make it work somehow.
And they're just like, the writing's on the wall.
and we are just being ignorant to the situation.
We have to like open our eyes and realize the truth.
Yeah.
This ain't homework.
That's done.
You are a reason that I will be weak and vulnerable.
I have to save the planet.
You got to go.
She's the one who had to have the strength to say, I got to go.
Yeah.
You know, it wasn't him.
Breakups suck.
I don't know.
I felt that.
I don't know why.
I was like, I felt bad for her.
I felt bad for him.
He wanted to make it work, but his destiny is with Eve.
So. Now we can make that work.
Ocharro's like, bitch, be gone.
Yeah, I'm like, whatever.
Back your shit and go.
We got to make room for Eve in his heart.
We have to make room for Eve.
She's my girl, you know.
We're so cold.
I am.
You are an ice palace.
I am an ice palace.
God damn.
Like the gun is just still smoking and you're like, all right.
Let's get Eve in here.
Eve, call him now.
Quick, quick, quick.
Body is not even cold yet, Asharo.
Calm down.
I thought it was like a really nice reveal with what was happening with Donald and like, I guess the development of his character of finally understanding that, you know, it's actually detrimental to not have the memories, you know.
And so he's finally accepting what happens to him when he finds out the truth and he's like, you know.
It was helpful for that moment.
I don't know how long that stays helpful.
If he fully commits to this path of remembering his memories,
then it can be a positive thing.
It could be a strength maybe,
unless it's like super, super traumatic,
like kind of what Rick is going through.
Rex is back in action.
He was there for the beginning of the episode, ish.
And that was interesting.
It felt like we skipped over some stuff, but I get it.
I mean...
We have to move on.
Yeah, I guess we have to move on.
That kind of stuff makes me wish
that there was more episodes or more time or whatever.
I understand, like, they said it within the episode
Exactly.
That they're trying to balance this out to give the people what they want.
In an alternate world, you get to see Rex go through that process of getting back on his feet like Batman and the Dark Night Rises, you know.
Just to feel the victory that he felt when he was able to stay in the fight and fight and do well.
He went from him being completely bedridden to now he's like destroying, you know.
And so, yeah, anyway, it was still fun to see, you know, him back in action.
That's cool.
Like, we're going to need him.
Everybody, all hands on deck.
All hands on deck at this point.
With the ending and the, I forget his name, but the guy with a big head,
basically kidnapping Mark's family.
It's just so interesting that they introduced him right at the beginning of the season.
Like, it's been so long now because when did that happen?
Like, we started watching this show in December of last year.
And they had that storyline of like how on every single planet or like in every single reality,
the Viltramites win
except for
in this reality
on earth
and that storyline
has been like
shelved
for the entire season
I'm just wondering
now how that's going
to come back
in the final episode
I guess we'll find out soon
yeah
I really enjoyed that episode
and looking forward
to next week
with you guys
thanks so much
