Sina. Pals.
Hi. Hey, hey, hey.
Hey. Hey.
Hey.
Just testing out some new introductions here, but welcome back.
Stephs-Broad, join my Kristen Sevens, Spino.
And we are continuing on our Transformers run with Bumblebee, which a lot of people say this one slaps.
Love Haley Steinfeld.
I'm excited to get into it.
Let's do it.
Bumblebee is absolutely adorable
I think we've always known this from day one
He's been your fave since the first movie
It's 100%
What kills me is always when they leave him
I'm too selfish to leave my bumblebee
I feel you
There's no way I would leave him
No
There's no way I'd be like
Yo bumblebee you gotta go
I gotta go work
Or I'd be like
Like you know like a Shilabuff
Like you know when he was like
Hey Bumblebee
No, bro, you had a car.
It's like, yes, I understand you got to move on and do your thing.
I know he has a planet to save.
Yes, but.
However, I'm either coming with you.
Yeah, we're going to save this planet together and continue to.
I think that he is just so damn cute and adorable and lovable.
And I think that Charlie, I want to see her so badly.
I know I said this already several times with Shilabuff because he feels like bumblebee is kind of his, you know.
and she's going to be like, nah.
Like, I would love for her to come in, looking all hot.
And then all of a sudden he's like, who are you?
And then she's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, I don't know, something.
I know.
Well, she's older than him, obviously.
Yes, I don't care of this.
Yeah, I know.
I'm saying, but, yeah, it would be like a whole older woman in his life.
Yeah.
It'd be a fun storyline.
I'm here for it.
Maybe, because maybe he ran to Shailabup not too long after.
So, I don't know.
I think it would be really, really cool.
I think Memo is.
He was adorable.
Very.
Super adorable.
I think all the characters in here were very lovable and adorable.
Even Ron, the stepdad, or he's not even the stepdad, new boyfriend, per se.
I feel like even he kind of had like a little turning point where you're like, I see you Ron.
Yeah, he's not a bad guy.
It wasn't like a predictable situation.
I didn't like the gift.
I didn't like the smile book.
That was a bad, that was a bad move.
But.
Not everyone's a gift giver.
No, but he had his moment to shine.
and I like that.
And he pulled through.
Yeah, it was really cute.
I thought it was a really, really well done contained story.
And I thought what was so refreshing about it,
especially coming off the prior previous Transformers movies,
is that it doesn't need a sequel.
It feels like it was really focused on telling a really good story
from start to finish that if there was,
it leaves us wanting more.
But the story's good.
Yes.
And I feel like it's very secure and it wasn't chasing a sequel.
It just was a great singular story.
And they didn't spend too much time.
Like sometimes with these ones,
they spend a little bit too much time on the action shots and like the fighting.
And I felt like this one gave me like the perfect amount of fight that I needed without overdoing that and like elongating.
I feel like they balanced it very well.
Yeah, I agree.
The action shots were awesome.
The action shots were really cool.
there was some really, really insane movement going on.
They shot it so well.
But like, not for a moment.
Do you, when you're watching them, I feel so immersed and I'm like,
Bumblebee's obviously real.
Like, she obviously was filming with a transformer.
That's why their connection was so great.
Otis, amazing.
I would have, the only critique I have, I wish we had more Otis.
Oh, like, had him in the car with them, basically.
Yes.
I wish we had more.
I wish Bumblebee interacted a little bit more with Otis
because he was such an adorable kid
and I felt like his acting was great.
And I would have liked to see Charlie and Otis
kind of like bigger or something a little bit
and like have that tighter bond
but also it would have been hilarious
to see Otis and Bumblebee's relationship as well.
I wish we had more Otis too.
Yeah, I think that's always a good thing
when you're writing a script,
adding a child into scenes,
especially that need action is kind of like a liability because you're like,
how do we actually work this out?
So I get why they didn't, but I think it says a lot about the character that we still want
more of him.
Yes.
And all of the characters, it's like you could have explored more and I would have enjoyed it.
But just the pacing of the movie was so well done that I feel like we got so much in
such a quick amount of time.
Like the budding relationship with memo, adorable.
Yeah.
Agent Burns, John Sina's character, and their prior meet with Bumblebee to now.
Otis, obviously, Sally, played by Pamela Adlon, who's so fun to watch always.
And then the relationship with Ron was cute.
There was just so many good things.
The music was great.
The music was phenomenal.
Really good.
Now, this one was really fun.
So fun.
I enjoyed this one.
This one had me cracking up.
Yeah, it was funny.
The physical comedy.
For sure.
It was like actually not trying to be like.
Like sometimes they have like these dumb funny jokes in Transformers, which in Star Wars is the same thing and I like it.
But it's kind of nice to see a different type of comedy.
Yes, I agree.
So I this was this was solid.
Bumblebee is a very lovable film very good.
You can't help adore.
Yes, I agree completely.
I adored it.
Let us know your thoughts.
Where does this rank in your Transformers movies?
It was different though, too.
Completely different.
very different than all the other Transformers films and I don't mind that even like some of the
looks were a little bit different but I didn't mind no I like the retro look I think they really
nailed the the vibe of it not being current day and it had like the stranger things vibe that
was cool and it was just awesome so let us know your thoughts make sure you hit that subscribe button
