Senna.
Pals.
Hey everybody, it's Chris Stubbs-Pino, joined by the beautiful and amazing.
Vivian Day.
But today we're watching Rocket Ralph.
I hope I don't cry.
Is it emotional?
I don't know.
Disney.
What do you think?
I love Rackett Ralph.
So many feels.
I love it, I love it, I love it.
Oh, Jack McBrary was Felix.
That's who it was.
I was like, I know this.
voice. Did you love it or did you love it?
Yeah, all the twists were not what I was expecting.
So that was really good.
The plot twist of Turbo.
Turbo.
Brilliant.
I'm glad Felix wasn't a bad guy.
My trust issues came out at that time.
I'm like, he's not going to be nice.
I'm waiting for it.
You were talking about you thought Felix?
Yeah.
I thought he was going to be like mean or like something, you know, like pretending to be a nice guy.
But he was nice the whole time.
He was actually just a little.
I thought maybe he was going to be like a little snooty.
But he saw it through the whole thing.
He was what he was in the game.
And the other characters, not so much.
But it was done so well that it makes me want to go and play some video games.
And it took me back to my childhood.
It gives you that emotional roller coaster ride.
And it's like, I feel like all the scenarios that they had.
It was like, you've been there.
Yeah.
As a child.
You know, you're like, oof.
It was so fun to see all the characters together and how.
seeing the backside of how all the characters hang out afterwards
and them living full lives and being so well-rounded.
I love the diversity of the games.
Yeah, yeah.
The diversity of each game and how, like,
how they really did bring them together
all created differently.
Yeah.
And I thought that was, that's a pretty cool twist
because a lot of times when you're making, like,
animations or, you know, cartoons or whatever,
a lot of times you kind of want to stick to the same
type of feel.
Like archetype, like sort of.
Like there's like some type of pattern or whatever.
And they did a really great job at blending
these together to where you still felt
like you're in the same world, same realm.
And that was really cool.
And I love, I feel like Ralph, he was,
okay, he's, he was almost like a father figure
to Penelke.
But at the same time, and she's just like this lost like
little sweet little orphan girl.
But so independent and like, I can do this.
I know. I love that confidence.
Because he didn't have any.
No. But it's funny because a lot of the times the youth will bring that back to you.
Yeah. Like I think as we get older, a lot of the times we lose that.
Crush your dreams and other people's dreams. We get jaded. We get, you know, we get her.
And then like reality sits in. Yeah. And then a lot of times like that's what the youth is there for.
Like the youth shows up and you see that innocence. You see that pureness. And it reminds you of what you used to also love and believe in.
And so I think that I loved, I love that too.
Because you're like, feel good.
It is.
And the music was just so catchy, upbeat, the colors.
The soundtrack was really good.
I love the soundtrack.
Because even when it was creepy and kind of like dangerous, you're like in it.
The music totally did that for me.
Alan Tudik.
You did well.
Everyone was so talented.
Not only is he talented, but he's like, hi.
Hi.
What's up?
I think she's trying to see something.
Not a short king at all.
Hold on, not a short king at all.
My hair look okay.
He's not a short king.
I'm just saying.
You know, you got jokes, huh?
I like that.
I like that.
He's not.
No Lord Farquod here.
Nope.
It's a keeper.
Yeah, there was like certain parts in it that actually did remind me of
Shrek.
Yeah, you know, when he put on the suit to go on the other game?
I was like, boom.
I was like, oh.
In my head, I was like, that's right.
I didn't even think about that.
Right.
Yeah, now I'm trying to...
Yeah, and then you have like...
The King's Little Cran.
No.
No, I gave it brought me back to like Candyland.
Was it Candy Land?
You say, yeah.
Candy Land, the game and the sugar plum fairies and like...
They spent so much time developing that whole world.
They did.
Every single scene.
And I love it.
And they changed it.
Yeah.
Have you know, like they went from so many different.
That was commitment.
That was pure commitment on the creator's part.
Well done on the storyline.
fine, good, well done on the punts in there,
well done on dialogue.
Like, I love, I love that she, I think we enjoyed it.
Yeah, I really did.
Anything else?
That's, that's it.
I think that's about it for us.
Yeah, I don't know for sure, but, you know.
Sweet.
I absolutely loved it.
You guys, let us know what you thought.
