Sina.
Pound.
You're carrying on with X-Men.
This is X-Men Origins Wolverine.
All righty.
Let's start with you.
Okay.
Those guys still with us.
But where's his hit?
Can we, like, open your mouth, though, so you can speak?
You ask and you wish shall be...
Yeah.
Ask and you shall receive
Ask and you shall receive
Wow, my wish was granted right there
I look forward to seeing you
Yes, you will look forward to seeing him
Because I love him
And now that his mouth's back open
It's going to be cheeky
Now, okay, I feel so much better
Like who needs the brother when I got this guy
What are the odds of the timing of that
Just popping up?
Kristen doesn't know that there were
Two Deadpool movies
It's plus a third one coming out this summer.
Day.
So we got that to look forward to.
Anyway.
Okay, so what I was saying was, I like that they broke his heart, right?
Yeah.
And then the end took away is the pain of the memory.
And so when he finally did see that she passed away,
it's interesting because he did already suffer her loss
and then to have her come back and then to take all that pain away
to where he looks at her and doesn't feel that loss, you know what I mean?
for it like he was confused
I think he did
the reason he was confused is because
he did feel it but like he didn't know
do you know what I mean it? Yeah he didn't
but what I'm saying is like yeah
he didn't understand like when he looked at her
he was confused and he didn't
know why he felt something
yeah right yes but I do
like the fact like if I was her
I feel like that would be the best outcome
right it's for the for the individual
it's like a mercy
to be able to that's what I was
trying to say. I was trying to say
it was almost like merciful in a strange
word. Thank you. You're welcome. See
Yachara speaks my language. She understands what
I'm trying to say when I'm like
going through
my files and my head, my
brain. Yeah. For
words. Kristen speaks three languages.
For words that I need. I did like that.
Yeah. I thought this was great. I thought it was
a lot better than the last one we
watched. Man, this one
hurt my feelings. Quite a
bit. And I am
I'm still upset about it, the brother thing, like, and throwing him away in part one.
Yeah.
But anything's possible.
So, I don't know.
Maybe we'll have something that, like, brings things back.
I don't know.
Yeah, especially when they don't care about, like, continuity that much.
Don't say that.
But, but, I mean, they hate that.
They did kind of, like, with the continuity thing, though, at least for Wolverine's story, right?
They did keep the continuity in a sense because it's like, okay, these are the things that happened in the last three months.
movie, so they absolutely need to
still happen. A striker needs to be
alive, obviously.
We can't kill him.
And same with
Sabretooth, his brother. We can't
kill him. And I guess they
never call them Sabretooth, so how would you know
that that's Sabretooth? See?
So are you sure this is the same guy?
It is the same guy. I'm pretty sure.
Maybe you're wrong. Have you seen him all?
Yeah.
Oh. No.
And then
And then they had to have Logan's memory wiped.
So at first, because I didn't remember this very well.
So at first when he didn't have his memory wiped, the first opportunity, I was like,
how are they going to make this work for continuity?
But I was like, okay, trust the process.
There's going to be something.
And then finally at the end, they're like, oh, but if he gets shot with the adamantium bullet,
then he's not going to remember.
And so, like, everything lines up to have him come into the X-Men where he is in the first movie.
So, I liked that.
And I definitely liked, like you said, you know, seeing that other side of him where he...
Because he was actually very vulnerable and sweet and loving, soft and gentle.
So it's interesting.
I mean, he's still spicy and like, but...
But you see...
And I almost feel like in the third one, like you said, his leadership and stuff was coming back.
Yeah.
And that I almost feel like this part of him.
was shiny when he was talking to, um, Rogue, Rogue, sorry, no, I said Rome.
Rogue, yeah, when he was speaking to Rogue, but before she went to go do what she did.
Yeah.
You know, like, I feel like that guy.
Yeah.
Was the one who showed up.
And now I'm like, I see you.
I see you.
Yeah.
Your old self was almost, I feel like his old self was a lot more in the third one.
But I think if this was swapped, like, and they put these in different orders.
Yeah.
I think I would have accepted the third one a little bit more and seen it different, a little bit differently.
Sure.
Yeah.
Just the hair.
Only because just off the personality and like certain traits because I didn't feel like he was like fully true to like what he was like.
Exactly.
I don't know.
It was just a little different for me.
That's all.
Yeah.
It's interesting, I think, how they decided to do this.
But I reckon it probably had something to do with the fact that as they were putting the movie,
out, they realize that actually
Wolverine is the character that
people really liked and gravitated towards.
That's why he's had his own movies.
He's got like three
movies of his
own because we love him so much.
And like truly, Hugh Jackman
does a really great job. It's his acting.
He's just, as an actor,
I really do enjoy him. And it's funny
because I have said this
in previous ones.
Wolverine is like, I mean, he's just
Wolverine.
But it's the character that makes him become interesting.
Right.
And makes you really, like, invested into his character.
Without that, like, it's kind of like, yeah, okay.
You're a wolf.
I think, like, with this type of material, if you put some really good actors in it,
which generally Marvel has done a fantastic job of casting, like,
legitimately very, very good actors in these roles,
You can take the material, yeah, you can take the material which any, like, a less good actor would make it cheesy and not good.
They take it and they elevate it.
And because they're so invested in the characters in the world and everything, as an audience,
we're invited to become invested in the world and the characters too.
And so, like, we really love them and buy into whatever it is that they're going through.
So I have a question.
Go ahead.
Do they ever merge?
with the other Marvel stuff
do they ever come together
Oh, this is an exciting time
in
Marvel history
because for a long time it was not
for a long time it was like
20th century Fox had their own lane
with X-Men and then Marvel was doing
MCU
and then like Spider-Man was in his
own thing with Sony
Sony and Marvel
they made an agreement so then Spider-Man
got to join in with
MCU, but this has always been its own lane, but
it's changing. Like right now, right
now. So, like, there's a lot of exciting stuff that's going on right now
where we are starting to get mutants mixed in
How is that going to work? Everything is crazy. Because there's a lot of mutants.
There's a lot of mutants. So it's almost like the whole superhero world
is going to be more superheroes
than...
Ever before.
People.
Well, I don't know.
Like, I don't know.
It feels that way to me
with their...
Because I feel like for them...
When I watch X-Man,
I feel like it's half and a half almost.
You know what I mean?
That's why I'm like,
oh my gosh, for them to merge that
with these people who we've seen
or, you know,
the ones I've seen anyways,
they seem so rare
and unique.
But bringing this into it,
I feel like,
would almost make these other superhero's mutants in some shape of word.
Yeah, it baffles my brain a little bit as well.
I'm not the most well-versed.
I'm sure that there are people in the comments who are like much more of like marble heads
than I am and who read the comics and understand this all very intimately.
So if you are one of those guys and you can kindly and patiently explain to us to Kristen,
and what this all means, that's super helpful.
Well, because we already have our,
what's the bird guy named?
In the other Marvel films.
There's one guy who has wings.
Falcon?
Thank you.
Okay, we got the Falcon.
Then on this one, we have the Angel Boy.
Yes.
Okay?
They're very similar.
Sure.
Well, Falcons, falcons,
but falcons can actually fight, fight.
Well, yeah, and also his wings are, like, robotic, right?
Whereas, like, is that who you're thinking of?
Yes.
Yeah.
And then Angels' wings are.
organic.
Like they grow from him.
I know, but how do you go to...
Okay.
I'm not...
That's the
Marvel.
The people have Marveled.
The writers, everyone over there,
that's their job to figure it out.
It's not our job.
I think maybe I,
because I think I'm so invested,
I'm trying,
I want to comprehend everything
and I want to put it together.
I want it to make sense
and I might just have to go like this
and say,
go for the ride.
Yeah, exactly.
Don't make sense of it.
Just enjoy what they...
enjoy what's to come.
Exactly.
So anyway, this was fun.
It was a lot of fun.
Yeah, it was good.
Great backstory to Wolverine, kind of understanding where he's coming from.
Poor guy.
Make sure to subscribe, all that good stuff,
so you know when we drop the next video in the series,
I'm Achara Kirk.
This is Kristen Steff Spino.
Ciao.
