How awesome was today?
part was psychological operations on Alan. Shout out to Alan for getting his first deer,
by the way. It's a big step. Yeah, it is. It's a big hurdle to get over. It's a very big hurdle
to get over. And I think what you said is true. It's not for, it's not for everybody.
No, not at all. It's just for people I like. Right. Right. Yeah. No, hunting is tough.
I mean, there's the shooting of an animal is tough,
but if you think that that's the end of the process,
I guess what I should say is prepare yourself
because it's just the beginning.
The hours of work are about to start.
Yes.
Yeah, your day or evening is just beginning.
Exactly.
I was stoked, though.
He dove in.
Yeah, he didn't.
He didn't hesitate.
He was definitely into it,
which I find with first time hunters is like,
that's the most tough part,
is that first step of like the psychology
of knowing that you're about to kill something.
Yeah.
Getting on a gun, getting on that cold piece of metal,
and looking right at what you're about to kill,
and putting your finger on the trigger and getting that recoil in pulse.
But then you're right.
After that, then it's...
Then the work begins.
Then the work starts, especially if you're in the backcountry,
you're six or seven or ten miles in,
and you've got to quarter that sucker up and start hiking it out.
I'm going to be honest, when I was watching him shoot,
the only thing I was looking at was the quivering of the rifle.
Yeah.
And I hope you listen to this, Alan, you son of a bitch.
We'll be out of your house tomorrow.
The classic example, there's a huge buck there yesterday.
I did not have my rifle.
That's how it always goes.
I brought my rifle today.
There's no buck.
You'll love this.
So you drove out before me.
I drove behind you.
I was a good probably like five, ten minutes behind you.
A huge big fucker ran right across.
the road right where that S curve is.
Yes.
Right there.
And when it went right into that field, I watched it.
He just loped right across the field, hopped over the fence, and he was huge.
His neck was huge.
I was like, oh, man.
There's a reason they're that big, though.
They're smart enough to knock him out in the middle of the day.
The dayblazing bucks have thinner necks because they're younger.
Yeah, and they usually die relatively fast.
Where should we start?
You're now a resident of Montana.
Should we commit to the audience once per month, full auto Friday?
It's on you.
The invitation is open, but you're the one who have to commit to it.
I'll certainly commit to it.
All right.
You did cheat on me, though, with that son of a bitch Mike Glover, though.
So I feel like maybe doing any...
That was a chance encounter.
He happened to be...
They were doing a motorcycle mobility.
He was not part of the riding, but I believe they launched from Seattle and rode all the way to Whitefish.
So he happened to be passing through.
And then they were finishing the event that evening.
So I grabbed him for...
I'm going to grab people.
as they come by?
Yeah, he's awesome.
He is.
He's awesome.
Yeah, he's great.
I have a lot of emails telling me I need to start a separate podcast with just him.
It's like, I don't have fucking time for that.
There's no time for that.
But he's also looking at property up here too.
So we could sooner rather than later have a round table.
Right.
I was going to say, when does he get here?
When is he get here?
I reached out to him and sent him a message.
Mike, you motherfucker, when I have a personal assistant, you will never get a hold of me either.
Mike doesn't have a personal assistant.
He doesn't?
I mean, I thought he did.
I thought he'd grown things to the point where he's, it's personal assistant time.
I mean, he had three social media channels that were all in excess of 50,000 followers.
Oh, by the way, American contingency is back up.
So what do they do?
Do they just put it on hold?
Because he's having a lot of issues with the platforms that he's on.
Well, I think it's really coincidental maybe that there was a Senate hearing and they had the CEO of Google
Twitter, an old, what's his name, Zuckerberg.
Facebook?
Yeah, they had all three of the tech CEOs, and they had a Senate inquiry and grilled the
shit out of them about censorship and First Amendment rights.
What are your thoughts on that?
Do you think the First Amendment should extend to social media platforms?
Yeah, of course.
But, I mean, there has to be limitations on there.
Like, I don't want to see pornography on there.
I don't want to see hate speech on there.
But, I mean, here's the line with that.
Like, it's everybody's personal opinion on what is.
considered hate speech.
And I think that's that fine line
that they're walking right now.
Sometimes it's not that fine.
Yeah.
Like, hey, you motherfucker,
we should burn all of your kind
to the ground.
That's pretty obvious.
Yeah.
The gray area, I think, is huge, though.
I think they have to change it.
I don't, I mean, I hear people,
and by that, I just listened to a Rogan podcast
where he was actually talking with a journalist
from the Interceptor,
the guy who was directly associated with the,
hacker he was in
he wasn't a hacker he was an essay guy
worked in Hawaii lives in Russia
now come on Snowden
gosh you are fucking useless I'm gonna
reevaluate I just pulled
all of that information from my side of the table
so I'm gonna reevaluate your
standing invitation
you explain that completely horribly so if you would
I started off with hacker which is not
yeah if you would have said the NSA
I said NSA dude Hawaii living in Russia
and you looked at me as if you knew nothing
I mean you're the host man I was just
I was waiting for my cue to like jump in there.
All right, so fine.
I mean, anybody who wants to be the co-host,
the interview process is still open.
Bishop is not confirmed.
Fuck face Fridays.
Here we go.
He was interviewing.
I'm going to actually look it up
because I want to get the guy's name correct.
But he was on the documentary
that they made Citizen for Glenn Greenwald.
He was probably the main written word journalist
that started to launch this stuff.
He just quit the interceptor today due to censorship.
His organization,
and I'm basing this off of what Joe put out on Instagram,
his organization would not let him print anything that was critical of Biden.
They said that you had to remove all portions of that from the article.
I don't know what the article was.
And then he was talking quite a bit.
Greg and Joe, they were talking a lot about censorship,
which makes sense given that he's a journalist.
And again, I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
The people who seem to be paying the most attention
seem to be saying that it's incredibly biased
towards one side
and that censorship is absolutely taking place
which is fucked.
Yeah.
Because it changes people's opinion
on the world around them
which informs their behavior.
Of course it does.
And that was the big argument
that the Senate, you know,
Cruz went after the CEO of Twitter pretty hard.
Dorsey?
Yeah, went after him pretty good.
His beard was questionable.
Yeah, he looks like a fucking Taliban, dude.
I was like, bro, what are you doing?
Imagine the stress he's under the...
though too. Yeah. I mean, that's a rough one. I feel for that guy for the stress that he is
he's dealing with. I don't know if any of those platforms will ever be, there certainly won't be
perfect, but I think they can do a lot better on the censorship side of the house. Yeah.
So, yeah, I mean, we'll see, we'll see where that lands. I mean, it is happening. It's,
it's irrefutable. I mean, there's, I mean, there's evidence there. And of course, like, all of them
were like, that's not happening. We have policies. We changed it within 20.
24 hours, like, whatever.
Sometimes 24 hours is kind of critical, though, too.
It is.
And, you know, sometimes I feel like,
did you have knowledge of that as a CEO?
Because, I mean, middle management can do shit like that,
especially in a company that size.
Like, it could have been one of your middle management people,
one of your vice presidents,
one of your directors of whatever division
that made that decision to do that,
to edit that post or, you know, censor that post.
Yeah.
And maybe he had no knowledge.
I mean, if we want to give him the benefit of the doubt,
which I don't know at this point with all the evidence that's stacked up against them.
I'll give a CEO the benefit of doubt of not knowing the minute details,
but it seems like that particular issue,
and again,
I don't know if the Hunter Biden stuff is true or not,
but on that particular issue,
it seemed to explode to a level enough that as a CEO,
you probably should have at least understanding that it was taking place.
I don't expect you to know the day-to-day workings of every single person at the organization,
but that issue seemed to rise to the top fast enough.
Right.
Maybe pay attention to it.
Yeah. I mean, it's leadership 101.
It's your fault no matter what.
T minus, what are we, six days?
Oh, yeah.
Predictions.
Oh, man.
Predictions.
We're not even into the questions yet.
No.
It's timely.
Yeah.
The next full out of Friday will have occurred after the election.
Yeah.
Predictions.
Yeah.
I think Trump's going to win.
And here's why I think that.
because I was certain in the last election that Hillary had it in the bag.
Like the media made it seem like that she was doing great.
I mean,
and she was,
you know,
lined up to be the first woman president.
She was this,
you know,
had experience as a secretary of state.
She was the first lady.
Like,
everybody was pulling really hard.
I mean,
she,
I mean,
the,
the DNC sabotaged their primary and screwed Sanders over so that they could
put her in,
in the,
you know,
in the White House.
And I thought,
I thought it was open and shut.
Like,
I didn't think Trump had a chance.
And so...
I think a lot of people thought exactly that.
Right.
So I think if you combined that with what happened last time and then I think where
middle America is at right now with, you know, people like us that are centrists that,
you know, I mean, self-admittedly, I'm a centrist that maybe leans just a little bit to
the left, you know?
Like there's things that, you know, I'm super liberal about.
There's things that I'm super conservative about.
I do like that middle, I like balance.
I find myself leaning slightly to.
the right fiscally and socially more to the left.
Right. Yeah, exactly. It's probably better description of me too.
So what I think has happened is, you know, and this is just my own personal opinion,
I think the left with what they have turned into and the other entities that are
supporting that are, you know, indirectly or directly that are promoting anti-American
agendas and they're openly socialist and they're openly communist and then, you know,
the vehement denial of like
well you know Antif is just an idea
well no
that one surprised me
yeah
the shoot him in the legs one
surprised me
so I had uh
Greg Anderson was here
shit it might have been yesterday
for round two he came up
he was down doing Evans
yeah
for those you listen to that'll be out
and I think about
two weeks but we talked a little bit
about the old shoot him in the knee
yeah current state of affairs
Philadelphia
you right now kind of popping off, if you will, to use the term that the youngans use,
I think. I have fucking no idea if they use that. Thoughts on that incident?
I'm not familiar with it. So I heard that there was something going on, but I don't know
what so. Backstory real quick. Backstory me and I'll give you my opinion on it.
Is this the cop that was like tackling the dude? Because I did see something on the news where
a cop responded to a call of a guy jumping on cars. And then he,
No. Okay, that's not innocent. Okay.
There was another shooting of a...
A man with a knife moving towards police officers.
They were retreating,
ended up taking his life, and the city is exploding.
Okay.
So it's probably not a good question since you don't know anything about it.
Yeah.
So keep your mouth shut.
You never finished telling me why you thought Trump was going to win.
Oh, yeah. So backing up.
Yeah, I just think with the slant media,
the media's put on everything and how, you know,
they've been censoring and the social media people
have been manipulating and doing what they've doing. I think that the silent majority and those of
us that sit in the middle that have probably been pushed right because of all of this craziness
that is going on, I think that I think that's going to make a huge difference at the ballot box
this year. So let's say that Trump does win. Where does that leave those organizations that were
at the top of their lungs espousing like Biden has this in the bag? So basically a repeat of
16 when Hillary the same thing, the same organizations were saying, I mean, let's look at polls.
Most of the polls that I see are showing that Biden has a massive lead. I mean, that's actually
how they describe it, like double-digit massive lead. He said the same thing about Hillary.
That's what I'm saying. So if the result is not in favor of what those organizations have spent
a lot of human capital, energy, and probably money promoting, where does that leave them when it comes
to reliability? As an authentic source.
for information for Americans.
They're not authentic, and they weren't authentic in 16 when they were completely wrong
about Hillary as well.
So, and that's the problem that I don't think that they realize the long-term, like, third,
fourth-order effects, or maybe they just don't care of how they're destroying their
own credibility.
Like, when you make false claims to try and slant public opinion, you know, and basically
launch, you know, for lack of a better term, disinformation campaigns, the long-term, you're
just destroying your own credibility.
as a reliable source.
I mean, it's like what the CDC did
with this whole COVID thing the whole time.
Like, to me, they've destroyed their credibility.
So now I'm like, I don't know who to believe.
The WHO and the CDC did very similar things.
So they're putting a lot of people now.
I mean, it's super frustrating when you get online
because you don't know what the fuck to believe.
You don't know what's fake news and what's credible.
And I just watch that.
And you don't know how much of an actual broad swath
you're getting of the available information.
Right.
I think it was the social dilemma.
Yeah, I was just bringing that up.
Yep.
It's fucking disturbing.
Yeah, I just watched it two nights ago.
And again, you'd like to think that you're getting a broad, unaltered, shotgun blast, bolus of information to the face.
Which you are, once the AI program feels like it can determine what will keep you online longer.
You're getting a shotgun blast of information.
There might be some gaps in coverage.
Right.
Right.
Fuck.
I don't know.
I don't have any answers.
So I just put into my email full auto Friday.
There are 646 emails in the queue.
So I'm doing my best.
I'm going to randomly, we'll do three because we've got to get people into their weekend so they can rest up for voting season slash potential civil war.
See, the question, the hard about this is I got to find a good one to start.
start with. People are like, how often did you do knife fighting training in the military? Not often.
No, hardly ever. Yeah. Oh, here's one that references you. Perfect. On a previous podcast with
Brian Bishop, you discussed the capabilities of militia groups. My understanding of your discussion
as you concluded these groups lack the assets in coordination to successfully overthrow a state
government. The ability of law enforcement to detect, infiltrate, and intervene in the plot to
kidnap the governor of Michigan seems to validate your conclusion. Hypothetically, if a group
were able to successfully kidnap a government official, governor, state, or federal, representative,
senator, or judge, or occupy a government building, state capital, courthouse, or federal
building, what do you think the response would be? I'm assuming the FBI would be the law
enforcement agency in the lead, but is it possible that a military unit could be deployed?
How long do you think the group could hold their kidnapped official or building?
Interested to see where you run with this question.
Me too.
Thoughts.
Oh, this is from Kurt.
Hi, Kurt.
I mean, this is like in line with like the last fallout of Friday about the military involvement.
I can't control the questions that I get.
If Trump steps down, like, will the military like remove him?
You know, this is in line with that.
First of all, passacometatus prevents the military from being used in this situation.
which is the use of military personnel in a law enforcement capacity.
I'm just going to go.
Broadly.
That's not exactly what it says if you Google passacomatatus, but that's broadly.
I mean, rule number one, never underestimate your opponent.
But from what I've seen from these militia groups, like they, they, I mean, I don't think
they have the capabilities to seize a government building.
If they did seize a government building, I'm going to just basically reiterate what Mike
Glover said and say that that's an HRT one-minute target secure.
I think that as time...
That's ropes out and quick.
That's something that happens quick.
Like, I don't...
Yeah.
I mean, for one, so there's always in, what do they call it, in a session plan.
So if somebody gets yanked up, like, first off, the government entity and organization will continue because the two I see will become the one I see.
Not forever, but if it plays itself out and the person in charge survives, they'll go back.
I think that given we've had 20 years to sustain combat now,
There are going to be some people who get twisted between the ears that will get involved with militia groups.
So I think that their capacity will increase over time.
If not, I mean, just because the fuckwits in Michigan were unsuccessful, you know, a smart enemy would send in the JV team to see what the response is.
So perhaps that wasn't their best effort intentionally.
Perhaps they wanted to see what the result was.
So I do think that militias are going to increase in their ability.
but there's a difference between a small group of people.
For one, if they kidnap somebody and they bailed,
I'd maybe 24 hours given the intelligence network ability.
So I think that they would probably be found and rolled up within 24.
Seizing a government building and holding a government building are very, very different things.
Yes.
You would need a resupply.
You would need external blocking.
There's a lot of shit.
Is it possible that they could take one over?
Yes, but I don't think they could hold it indefinitely.
And definitely it's not even the right word.
They would be able to hold it for a very short period of time.
And I bet if it was a federal building that would be FBI HART, maybe?
Yes.
And if it was a state building, I'm assuming state police SWAT organizations.
I think that's how that would play itself out.
They might, for a state entity, they would be able to hold it for a little bit longer, probably,
depending on where the state is and what state it is and how well that state response team is trained.
Yeah.
I mean, H-R-T for, you know, I mean, they're pretty much a tier one entity for the, for the, you know, lack of a better, lack of a, a term that everybody can understand, well, almost everybody probably is, you know, the J-Soc tier one level.
Like, I think H-R-T is definitely, I mean, you guys had H-R-T attached to you.
Did you?
I had him, I hosted him at the Kios and the Secret Service cat team, the counter-assault team.
Yeah, we had a, we had H-R-T guys out when I was attached to J-Soc on my last deployment.
they were there.
Do you remember, and perhaps I'm not using the correct term,
but it was a what I've heard of described as a militia group.
I believe it was in the northwest.
They occupied, it was like it was an empty state building.
And I want to say this was in the northwest.
But people started sending them boxes full of dildos labeled as food.
I wish I could look this up.
I'm not going to look it up right now.
But I'm pretty sure that that happened.
Which is a fucking varsity move.
Whoever got onto Amazon and bulk ordered dildos?
Yeah, pulled that off.
Yeah.
I think they were like, hey, send food.
And they're like, here you go.
Food.
Enjoy.
So yeah, I mean, don't even the most highly organized militia group,
don't underestimate the supply chain that state and federal agencies have.
Right.
The backup that they can call the sensor packages in suites,
whether they be airborne or groundborn that they can bring to bear that militia groups
are going to have.
Like you're from a firepower perspective, I'm sure if you put enough time into it, you could be equally matched.
But standby.
It's not going to go well.
No, at all.
The only tool they probably wouldn't have would be isolate and contain target and moon roof with J-Dam.
Right.
Which is unfortunate that they don't have that because it works.
It does work.
But then it's also taxpayer money to rebuild that building.
That's what I'm saying.
And we probably shouldn't probably shouldn't.
I don't want to see that happen.
on U.S. oil at all.
See, this is tough when I haven't preloaded the questions
because, man, I don't know what I'm getting into here.
Hello, Andy.
Like you, I'm an advocate for the silent majority
becoming the vocal majority.
I do what I can, but being, I'm in high school, that's not much.
One of the things I do, though,
is wear a Blue Lives Matter mask to show my support.
This mask has become quite the topic of discussion
as I've heard from multiple people about conversations being had about me behind my back,
including a text sent to my sister from a girl saying she was going to fucking kill me.
On top of all of this, I'm also the president of the class,
and it seems I've upset enough people that I'll most likely lose that position in the upcoming election.
My question is, should I continue wearing this mask?
Let the chips fall where they may and stand by my principal,
or should I just stop and make it easier for myself?
while I can. Tyler, it's a deep question for a young man in high school. Yeah, the pressures of
high school. I mean, there's so many things that I was thinking of while you're reading that
question. I mean, first of all, Tyler, good job. Like, no, stand your ground. I was going to say,
stick to your guns. Okay. And, and, yeah, stick to your guns. I have worn a mask
zero days during the pandemic. And I get looks of death all the time. Like, if people... I feel like
there's some in your direct messages as well. Yes. There was some DMing that occurred when I
talked about my position on masks. Correct. I received also a few. Yeah. Yeah. I've worn a mask zero days.
And so I've also done what is not popular. And I have had to deal with the pressures of that. But that is
called leadership. So if you're the class president, good job on you for setting the example. I don't
think there's anything. There's absolutely nothing wrong with supporting law enforcement.
You know, law enforcement, I've said it once. I'll say it again. They're the glue that keeps
the country together. So without law enforcement, if you remove that, I can only imagine because
I've experienced it, what would happen in this country when law enforcement's not available.
And I'm sure there's other people right now in other parts of the country that where they've had
massive rioting for days and days and days and the city council is just,
allowing it to happen like in Portland that would probably, you know, tell you the same thing that
it's not having police is not a good thing. It's not a way forward. It's, once you start pulling
that thread, that's just, you know, defunding the police and get rid of police is, is a recipe for
mass destruction. So I do not support that in any way, shape or form. And I'm proud of you for being in
high school and standing your ground and leading. Okay, sometimes the ruck is heavy when you're a leader.
will do things and have to do things that are not popular.
But don't you dare cave into social pressure.
Staying your ground.
Yeah, I agree.
I think you should stand for what you believe in.
And as far as the text of the girl saying that she's going to fucking kill you,
I'm assuming this is an under 18 year old person.
And historically, they say some really dumb shit.
I know that because I was an under 18 year old person.
I'm now 43.
I still say dumb shit.
so I never grew out of that phase.
But I wouldn't lose sleep over that at all.
But I think you would lose sleep if you deviated from your morals.
Maybe the Blue Lives Matter mask are people who are hearing this.
They're like, well, that's stupid.
And that's okay if you think that's stupid.
But whatever you believe in, stand for that and hold your ground for what you believe in.
So maybe this isn't everybody's particular hill to die on, but figure out what your hill is.
And then don't get off of that hill.
And I'd also say, don't worry too much about the class president position.
I look back at my life now and who I am now and realizing how far short I am of who I want to be.
And then I look back at myself in high school and the idiotic social interactions that I had in the idiocy and the way that I conducted my – like, I wish I could just go back and beat the living shit out of my high school self.
Oh, man.
And impart in them a little bit of guidance.
And it's like, dude.
And then explain to myself in high school, like, hey, like in two decades, like, none of the shit's going to matter.
You're going to be okay if you lose the class president election.
When you go to college, it's not going to matter.
Yeah, like very soon it won't matter.
But I can understand how the pressure right now, like Brian said, the rucks act can feel very heavy.
Stick to your guns.
Carry it.
Yeah, you'll feel better about yourself.
And it'll actually set you.
up, I think, better for your future. Caving. I see a lot of people in the world right now,
caving. And I don't know what lesson that reinforces, but it's not a good one. No.
You know, I can't see a lot of good coming from shit, large organizations, caving to pressures
of all kind. So, I don't know. Good job, Tyler. Keep carrying that ruck. Tighten those straps.
Keep going. But like, not too tight. You don't want to, you don't lose, you know, feeling in your hands.
Correct. There's nothing worse than a ruck side. Well, actually, there's something worse.
body armor on slightly too tight.
So you can't take a full breath.
As you're running up the stairs, it is the worst.
I think what's even worse than that is sand in your wetsuit with a ruck on top of that.
Why would I be wearing a wetsuit and a ruck?
You guys never did that.
Go ahead and lay out for me the scenario with which this occurred.
Scout swimmer school.
Where were you swimming?
Were you in cardiac?
We were in Coronado.
in a wetsuit.
In a wetsuit.
How far did you have to swim?
We had to do like a 5K fin.
5K, 3 miles.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Which I know isn't shit compared to what you guys do, but...
No, it's cool.
Tell me more about it.
Oh, cool.
So I got, I had to put sand in my wetsuit and put a ruck on and that was not a good time.
We were...
Yeah, sand in the wetsuit sucks.
I knew a guy one time who shit in his wetsuit.
And it was one of the worst, most disgust.
appetite churning things I've ever seen.
As he like unzipped the back and like pulled it over,
it was completely smeared over almost every inch of his body.
And I don't know how you get all that off
and all the nooks and crannies without assistance or a power washer.
Was that because he was finning in the water for like eight hours
and needed to shit or what happened there?
I chose to ask zero questions about what was happening
and just got out of there.
It wasn't a scented candle that you would want to put.
open for Thanksgiving.
It's like I'm getting the fuck out of here.
Pumpkin spice.
Oh, man.
Tis the season.
Next.
I can't find the exact email that I'm looking for, but I get a version of this question all the time.
I want to go into the military.
I want to pursue whatever pipeline.
Oftentimes they'll ask me about the special operations pipeline because I don't know shit about the regular pipeline.
But they have parents that are not supportive.
And the broad question is, what do I do?
It's a tough one, and I get this one a lot, which is why I'm paraphrasing it.
My parents, my family, they weren't supportive.
I just did it because it was my passion.
It was what I had a fire in my belly for, and I stayed on track with that.
Were you open with them about, hey, I understand your concerns, but I am doing this?
Yeah.
And they were not supportive of it at all.
But, you know, that was just, I think it's just fear, fear of the unknown.
Like, I didn't have anybody in my family directly.
My uncle had served in the Marine Corps, and he was a Marine and helped evacuate the embassy,
the last bit of the embassy in Vietnam.
And so he had some horror stories about that.
I bet he did.
But that was my real dad.
And my parents got divorced when I was really young.
And so he was the only one, and I didn't have any communication with him.
at all. So he was the only one. But my, you know, my mom was not supportive of it. And it was
mainly, I think she was just, she was afraid of what's going to happen. And, you know, and a lot of,
and that's what it stems from. Parents are, you know, afraid for their kids as they should be.
Or some have had bad experiences themselves in the military. Right. Right. My dad did not have a
phenomenal experience in Vietnam. However, he never stood in my way or tried to talk me out of
joining the military. But I can imagine it is laying in bed and I, like,
God damn it.
Yeah.
I mean, your dad's amazing, man.
Yeah, but it certainly a lot of fear.
And if you had a bad experience, yeah, I'm sure they're not supportive of it.
It's your life.
They will get used to it.
They will get used to the idea of it.
I would not let your family steer you off course because if we go back to, you know, how heavy is regret.
If you pass up.
Is there anything heavier?
No.
So if you pass that up,
if this is your dream and you and you want to go do this more than anything you want to do,
which it kind of needs to be that if you want to be successful in special operations.
Most of the emails express exactly that.
I feel like this is my calling in life.
I went to college because my parents said I needed to.
I hate my job.
All I can think about is doing fill in the blank.
Yeah, you're off your path, which is why you hate your life.
It's why it consumes you.
It's why it's all you can think about because you're not doing what your passion.
is. And that goes for anybody. That could be, you know, a career in the military or it could be
a career in design. It could be being a, you know, a pilot. If you feel, if you feel passionately
about something, you should pursue it. And if you don't pursue it and you feel like you're,
you want to hang yourself the belt every day at your whatever job, fill in the blank that you're
doing, that's why. You're not fulfilling your purpose. You're not being honest. You're not having
integrity or honor with yourself because you're settling. You're settling and you're succumbing to
the pressures of what other people around you think you should do. And you should never do that.
You should always stay on track with what your passion is and follow it. Follow that path.
Yeah, I think the only thing I would add is I would recommend not enlisting in secret.
You know, I would have the conversations with your parents, even if they say, hey, we forbid you from
doing this. If you're not a minor, it's no longer their choice.
But don't come home one day and be like, I'm out of here in two weeks.
I think that would be probably worse.
I would be upfront and honest.
I agree with that.
Yeah.
Don't ambush your parents.
Have the conversation.
If they're adverse to it, wait until you're 18.
You graduate.
You can do whatever you want.
Your legal adult, go sign that paper and go for it.
Yeah.
Another one that I get often.
I won't even look for the exact email.
Thoughts and experiences with allied military.
specifically special operations forces.
I get it all the time.
Have I ever worked with Aussie, special forces,
oftentimes them from Europe,
Canada often, specifically JTF2.
Thoughts, your experience with Allied nation,
conventional military and special operations?
Yeah, so I had experience in Afghanistan with parrass,
and I had experience in Afghans from,
they're basically like, and forgive me,
if anybody from the UK is listening to this,
I know this is kind of a horrible example,
but they're like the Rangers,
Ranger Battalion of the UK, the Paris are.
I also had exposure to SBS and SAS guys,
and they were top shelf dudes.
They had a great sense of humor.
They were great operators.
They were fit.
They were very competent.
They were great at planning.
They were great at execution.
I had nothing but great experiences with the UK.
I also had conventional, I also had run-ins with conventional French troops.
They were okay.
They weren't fantastic.
I mean, they were polite.
They were professional, but their execution on things was not good.
Their tactical planning, eh, it was meh.
The Germans up in the north, RC North, they also were very,
they were very scattered. They weren't well organized. They had a very hands-off approach. Like all they wanted to do was security and stability. Basically, you know, humanitarian stuff. They did not want to roll up their sleeves and go toe to toe and do some, you know, basically do some interdiction work and, you know, do what you do in war, which is go find the enemy and kill them. They were not into that. But what did you call it in a previous episode, The Boogaloo?
For what could, yeah, the boogaloo for what could.
You're getting your boogaloo on.
Or is that specific?
I thought you just meant that as like a general like, let's get it on.
No, boogaloo is like.
God damn it.
I thought it was a good like be broadly applied.
No, it's specific to a revolution or a civil war in the United States.
Yeah.
Fine.
So, I'm ashamed.
It's okay.
I mean, I didn't know where you were going with the Snowden thing either.
Yeah.
It's okay.
that over there, you were useless. Like I said, the interview process is still open and available for people.
It's so good to see your fucking stupid face again. I had great experiences with conventional Canadian forces. I
unfortunately have never worked on Target or in a tactical environment with the JTF2 guys. Actually, I'll go even broader.
I don't have any negative things to say about any allied forces that I worked with. Sometimes they're hit or miss, but guess what? So are American forces.
Right.
When people tell me, you know, I ran into more than one ODA who are like, fuck seals.
And I would get to talk to him a little bit.
And they had a really shitty experience with a platoon of seals.
And it's like, you know what?
I get that because guess what?
There's piece of shit individuals and elements inside of the seal community.
I would always ask them, you know, maybe just don't, well, try not to judge completely how you feel off of that one interaction.
Because, hey, FYI, one of the worst experiences I've ever had was with an ODA over.
overseas, and I don't like look at that as a reflection of the entire community.
Like, I get it.
There's fuckwits are going to do fuckwit stuff, and sometimes they're wearing different uniforms.
No, you're absolutely right.
I mean, I had those kind of experiences just internally within.
Oh, for sure.
The battalion that would come in to rip out with us, relief in place, since we've got to be
acronym savvy here, they would come in and do their relief in place.
And we would do what's called, you know, you guys did the same thing, I'm sure,
right seat, left seat, stuff, where they come.
come in, they embed with you, you take them out, show them key terrain features, you know, go over
and tell with them, show them, you know, basically the battle space.
It's a handoff.
Yeah, your tactical area of responsibility.
It's a handoff.
You're handing the baton to them.
And we had a battalion that came in to relieve us when I was leaving Fallujah.
And they, in January of 2005, and they were a fucking shit show and did not want to listen to
anything.
Meanwhile, we'd been there, like, going hard, super hard in the paint for seven months.
With some solid beta.
Super solid beta.
Like I just got done, I just got out of a truck and did a patrol with you guys.
And last week I was six weeks deep into like killing people in houses every day.
So okay, I guess if you want to do it like that, go ahead.
And it was pretty appalling.
So yeah, I mean, I've had it within, I've experienced that within my own community, like doing a really different place.
Sam.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And so I've worked very briefly with SAS, SBS, B, both.
both Brit and Aussie.
Fucking awesome.
Right.
I love both those countries, by the way.
I've been to the UK many times and Australia, I think five or six times now.
Passing experience with the Grom, nothing like tactical.
They had booze in their compound.
That was amazing.
But again, all over the world, different units, all with the same purpose, never had any problem integrating or interfacing at all.
Yeah, I had zero problems with the UK guys.
They were awesome.
And again, they had booze, usually.
Critical factor to consider.
That's it.
That's four questions.
What else you want to talk about?
We can talk about as long as we want.
But that's full out of Friday.
We've already been at it for almost 40 minutes.
Yeah, I would just encourage people, I don't know, where do you want to go from here?
If we're going to wrap it up, then, I mean, you still get.
got some beer to drink there. I'm also on ridiculously heavy antibiotics. It's already hurting my
stomach. Like the antibiotics I'm on are just crushing the good shit and the bad shit. I hope.
I don't know what they're actually doing. But yeah, I'm on a pretty heavy dose.
Do you want to talk about why you did that? Why you're on antibiotics?
Well, I don't know exactly how it happened. I mean, it's a likely a staff infection in my leg.
But how does that happen from not breaking the skin? Do I look like a fucking doctor to you?
I mean, no. I'm not either. I'm not. I'm not either. I'm
play one on TV.
I don't know.
My leg hurt.
There was a red patch.
I've talked to a couple different people in the medical world.
They're saying that the course of medication is good.
I don't know.
I mean, I had a stressful week last week.
And I believe people carry this.
Don't humans carry staff on them, in them?
I'm not a doctor either.
I'm not.
I'm a lawyer, but I'm not a doctor.
It's not a big deal.
How do you feel about like, let's try to stress.
a week and I think that played into it.
Did it.
All right.
Travel.
It started bothering me much more on the travel back from Florida.
Yeah.
As soon as I got back, I was like straight to the dock.
So I don't fucking know.
Okay.
Well, yeah.
You were missed on the mat.
You didn't miss me that much.
You knew what was going to happen if I was there.
That's how you get better.
You skull riding me constantly.
I have never skull ridden you.
Yet.
Yet.
Let's just throw that there yet.
Yeah, I mean, that's fair.
I'm not going to take it off the table of options,
but you'd have to do something horrendous to deserve it.
And then it would be a lesson.
There would be a lesson in there somewhere.
Whether or not you understood and received the lesson, that's up to you.
I love rolling with you, even though you crush me every single time.
Because you've been doing jiu-jitsu for four minutes, and I'm two years ahead of you.
No, that's true.
But that's how you get better.
I agree.
Yeah.
So what were you going to say?
You were going to ask something else.
Yeah.
So I was going to say, like, with all the new.
data coming out and the CDC finally coming clean on all this COVID shit.
What are you, what's your, what are your thoughts on all this data?
Because I mean, you and I have been pretty much holding the hard line on this the whole time.
Yeah.
I think I've said this pretty steadfastly from the beginning.
I don't think that the numbers justify the pandemonium.
The hysteria.
I don't, I mean, I don't want anybody to die.
Both you and I have said that.
but even if there wasn't COVID, people are going to die.
More people will die from obesity related issues every year in this country than from COVID.
I loved your presidential initiatives, by the way.
Some people took issue.
You know what people took issue with that I would want, that I would, they thought I was saying I was want to force people to vote, which I guess in a way I was saying that.
Well, no, because you would have had a choice.
There just would have been a penalty.
But I want people to have to participate in the republic.
Or they have to shut the fuck up.
Like you can write whatever name you want to on the ballot, but your boss will give you time off.
There will be time allotted that every citizen can go exercise their right to vote.
If you choose not to, there's going to be a punishment.
But at least it's made a priority.
Because I hate Monday morning quarterbacks who talk about how fucked up this country is.
And he asked him, well, did you go and participate?
No.
So get the fuck out of here.
You know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, the last election I didn't vote in, I chose to sit it out.
And that was the first time I've done that since I was 18.
Well, you're a piece of shit.
I guess I am.
I'm part of the problem.
I can assure you it's not going to happen this year.
But I think everybody should go and write fucking Donald Duck on there.
I mean, there's a lot of countries where you don't get the chance to cast a vote.
Go and exercise the right.
I don't care how you express that.
And if you're really vehemently against it, then you're not helping anything by abstaining, you know?
No.
Yeah, you should participate in the process that you have the right to participate in because as you just mentioned, all over the world, people vote with a bullet or they.
Or stick.
Yeah.
The rule is to.
And if you go vote and you participated, I am much more likely to sit down and engage in a conversation with you.
Like, okay, well, what's the choice you made?
And why did you make that choice?
And I'll take it on board and I'll think about it.
If you say everything sucks about this process and yada, yada, yada, yada, yada.
And I say, all right, well, which direction did you put your mark on the paper for?
And you say, well, I didn't.
What are we talking about?
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Get out there and vote.
Get out there and vote because that's the only way that we're going to, you know, that's the only way you can affect change realistically.
You can either pick up a gun, which I don't recommend.
And I don't want to see happen in this country ever.
And we've had some incidents, I would say that our.
not great that I'm not in love with and then we've uh or you can go to the ballot box and you
can vote yeah so I would I would encourage people to get out there and vote I know you're probably
fucking sick and to death of seeing it in your Instagram feed I am I just can't wait until
November 4th when I stopped getting 10 text messages a day of like it started off with we have
a poll that we want you to figure out you know like we want you to participate in this poll and now
some of the stuff is like this candidate is the worst person like it's a personal attack I'm like
god damn we've shifted gears here haven't we yeah yeah as time ticks closer people are getting
a little more ruthless so yeah it's gone from passive aggressive to truly truly very aggressive
in a blink of an eye yeah it'll be interesting to see what happens next week predictions from you
on what's going to happen my gut tells me that trump is going to win again
I don't have any data to support that.
That's my gut, though.
I think I almost feel like, as you described,
so many of these organizations are trying so hard to paint this picture,
like it's going to be an overwhelming victory for Biden
that I can feel them trying so hard to push that message
that it feels fake to me.
Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Like I can feel that they're not being truthful.
And like I've said, so people don't need to reach out and tell me I don't have any data to support that.
That's what I'm saying.
My gut tells me that he is going to win another four-year election.
Or not a four-year term.
Yeah, I agree with that.
So what does that look like for our society?
Predictions on that.
Okay, so next Tuesday is the third, right?
Yes.
What's Wednesday going to look like?
Thoughts.
Well, I think here's what's going to happen.
If Trump wins, you're going to see, you know, a shitstorm across social media.
All the news channels are going to go crazy, especially, you know, the ones that, you know, lean left, they're going to go crazy.
Then there's going to be, you know, I mean, all they've done this.
I mean, look at all of the allegations that have been unfounded and unproven and proven wrong and proven that it never happened.
they're just going to continue to go down that road and they're going to, you know, it's going to be like,
oh, he's, you know, he didn't really win the election and, you know, it's going to turn into a legal battle for a short period of time.
And then that'll run its course.
And while there's a legal battle going, I'm sure there's going to be riots, you know, in all of the major metropolitan centers, like everybody's going to have a fit.
And it's going to be, it's going to be an interesting ride probably for a while.
I hope that it's not razor thin
Because I think a lot of that razor thinness
Would drive everything that you're talking about
I hope that it's pretty clear
That there's real no way to say hey
There's just no questions left on the table
Because if there are I think it will
I think it will trend towards that
I hope that everybody
Regardless who wins or loses
Loses their mind for a fucking day on social media
And then
realizes that the person
who and the people that they have been trying to shout down at the top of their voice for the last year is actually still their neighbor.
So maybe they can go back and repair some of those relationships and realize that we're still Americans in this process and it's okay to disagree and maybe put a little bit of effort into mending the damage that I think we've all participated in to some degree over the last year.
So we can actually move forward as a country.
I would love that.
I hope that that's what happens.
As I said before, we're not the leftist states or the rightest states.
We're the United States.
So hopefully we can come back to the middle and figure that out once the smoke settles from the election.
And you know what?
All elections don't go how you want them to go.
Like they didn't go how I've wanted them to go a few times.
And you know, you have to know that that's part of our process.
And you have to accept that.
And I don't think rioting and burning down and destroying people's livelihoods.
and businesses and doing everything that's happened over the course of the, you know,
the last few months has been, or, you know, what are we at?
How many, how many days of riots been going on?
I have no idea.
I think they're 100 plus days.
They were 100 plus days the last time I saw something about it.
Yeah.
But I also don't know if they're still going on.
I think they are.
So I would just say, I hope things, I think they're going to flare up again if the results
go that way.
I don't know.
Honestly, I have no clue what's going to happen.
If Biden does win, I have no clue what's going to happen from that.
Like, I couldn't even begin to predict on what is going to happen.
I don't think that, you know, the question you got on the last full out of Friday about the, you know, what do you think?
Would have Trump doesn't release the office?
I don't even see that as being plausible, honestly, but I got that version, a version of that question.
A lot of people think that.
Yeah.
A lot of people on the, you know, on the Democratic side of the House think that he's some kind of weird dictator and that he's going to, you know, rally up the job.
generals and like you know have a circle the 80 second airborne's going to go camp out on the
white house lawn and there's not he's not going to turn over the you know the office i i could never
see that happening in a million years yeah i couldn't either but we shall see in in five days we'll
see in five days and i guess we'll circle back around then we could do another we should do another
fall on a friday next friday election recap you in i'm in okay see you guys there marketing is hard
