And like some things I look at and I go, they look better then than they do now. A 18907, 1997 Metal Universe Jordan, PSA 9. It just sold this September for 3,183. Yeah. And hey, there's so many big launches. It's like Pokemon fever here. I know. Today is, we are recording this on a Wednesday. It is the launch of the 30th anniversary of Pokemon. And it has been, I mean,

to say flying off the shelves, I think that that would be an understatement. You know, we've had 10-fold calls. You have to actually put it on the shelf for it to fly off. Yeah, it's not, we're not even being able to put it in the system fast enough for the rate that people are trying to buy it. And we had, before clock hit 12, we had 10 phone calls all at the same time. I was on the phone. Cole was on the phone. It was back-to-back, to back, to back, to back, to back, everyone looking for 30th.

Cole's probably getting raised anyway, but he's definitely going to earn one this week, I think. It's a little crazy here. But hey, if you're around and you listed local, come to see us. Yeah. We had a few drop in over the weekend, which we appreciate it for the sale. Yeah. I'm actually going to share some cards, and I'll mention that a little bit later. But 30th anniversary is crazy.

It's all the rage. Got all that on collector nation.com, the collector nation.com, a few articles, all the release, all the stuff you got to get. and, you know, I will say good signs early, right? Didn't you rip a pack already and hit some things? I haven't, but I know people who have. Okay. And hit rates have been much better than all the other sets. I mean, you know me.

When do I ever hit anything good? I know. I thought that's what you were saying earlier. No, no, no, no. But they did have, you know, because so I always thought, because 30th anniversary of Pokemon has been on whatnot and streaming platforms for like a couple weeks now, which I'm confused how people are getting away with that

and not getting in trouble for that. You know, whatever. I'm sure there's obviously loopholes to get around everything. That is a whole new world like the poker versus, you know, it's pretty locked down in sports. Yeah. Pops, this date, this one's coming out, and it's locked in. And I like that, you know, but Pokemon,

you never know what's going to just walk in the door. But they were having, so the, the RGB, the red, blue, and green, Mew cards, they had them up on eBay already before today, and eBay had them removed under stolen property policy because Pokemon was notifying them, which fair, you know, like I get it. But, you know, Cole told us right before this episode started

that won't be, I want to say it was the Blue Mu Mew sold for $20,000 last night. Yeah. Crazy. Crazy. Highest raw card ever for Pokemon, I think, it released. Yeah. So that's just, that's the hysteria, though. It's kind of like it.

I mean, I get it. It's a cool set. Well, when you have three sets before that absolutely sounds out of you love Pikachu, yeah, you want, that helps. Yeah, please finish that because that's the truth. Yeah, you have three sets that suck. So when you have a, and, you know, they totally do that intentionally. I mean, obviously.

Yeah. And, you know, I open the store. And I like Pokemon. I appreciate the artwork. I don't know every character. Somebody's going to hate on me or send me comments that I'm not a Pokemon person. Well, I like it. My 10-year-old likes it.

We have fun together. That's one thing we do. And it happens to me, I open the store and the three sets that really kick it off are absolute stinkers. Yep. You know, we couldn't have, you know, ascended prismatic and 30th, like in a row. And I get it. And I agree. Cole made this point.

I agree. Once I got thinking about it, it made sense. You got to have some stinkers for everything else to rise up. Yeah. You got to have bad days to make the good ones better. They ordered some, they went deep in that stink hole. I mean, it was no blano. But we just love it.

Maybe it'll turn around and come back because we still got like 7,463 ETBs of Chaos Rising. So, yeah, come get them. If you want Chaos Rising, come here. Yeah. Lunch, dinner, breakfast, chaos is rising at all times. Yes. But shifting gears, I know we love Pokemon. Yes, I love this more.

So this week in baseball history news, the photo behind the 1952 Mickey Mantle iconic card has sold for $3 million, which now absolutely smashes the record for an unautographed. photo to be sold, sports photo to be sold. The last record was from the 1951 Mickey Mantle card or photo of the card, which sold for $843,000. So absolutely smash that record. And, you know, just shows how much

the market is booming. Because theoretically, that was in 2024. Theoretically, those should be comparable closer than what they are. But the fact that they're that far of difference. I can't figure out if it's the market's booming or if old rich people are just flexing. And you know what?

Probably both. It's like old, not not old necessarily. I don't even know the age of the person that bought it. But there's a lot of old money starting to come in. And they're just like, they're digging it. But in all seriousness, there's things that come along and I go, I'd probably pass. this would not be one. No.

Because literally, you got one photo, you know, that's it. And as weird as the card does have, I would rather have the card, but this would be very, you know, like a PSA 10, no big deal, 100 mil, whatever that's worth now. But this is pretty close right behind it. I don't have this than like a PSA 2. I think that that's really interesting that you say that you'd rather have the card too. I would.

because that cardboard being something. I mean, I don't know. I mean, nostalgia, whatever it is. But, you know, there's more than one. I'm okay. I don't have, see, I'm not the eccentric, you know, guy that, oh, no, I don't know. I want to the rare as possible.

I mean, I want to get rare. Rare matters because it has value. But I'm okay with somebody else having one. Okay. I just have my cake. I think that's an interesting, interesting kind of dichotone. I think it's probably a person out, you know? Yeah.

I think there's a, I don't know. I think there's a sentiment to it being a card versus the picture, even though, you know, it's the same. Baseball card. And yes, it's a picture of a baseball player, one of the most famous, most famous one in the world and of the most famous card in the world. And I don't know. Different structures for different folks. So every collector is different. But either way, three bills sounds right.

Yep. I do three bill on that thing. And speaking of another iconic baseball player, Mr. Ken Griffey Jr., his 1989 upper deck card that we have talked about, I think every single week. Yeah, the past. Just hit? Yep. Yep. There it is.

It just hit its 200,000. Literally this card, obviously this is a creative interpretation of it. Yes. Yeah. But it hit its 200,000 rated copy. Wow. And people are still sending it in Every day

7, 8 grand Now I can't believe It was like 3 grand a year ago And Look it's most iconic ever And I don't know I don't know what this says Like kind of like

To be happy, sad Or you know Like obviously hey, there's a lot of graded copies. So I think it puts a fine point on. If you got a 10, you're good. You got a 9, you're okay. Anything else, you're in the land of misfit collectors that all have it.

Yeah. But it's crazy that there's that many cards that have been graded and, you know, that many that were good enough for people to send in to get graded. Yes. So, yeah, amazing. little story there. I love it. Mr. Cooper Flagg.

Yes. Opened his own card shop following in Tom Brady's footsteps in Maine, in his home and native land. Maine. Yeah. I mean, good lobster, right? Maine lobster? Yeah, I don't like lobster, but I know. You don't eat meat and you don't like lobster?

I mean, I exchange, I like, food is a very important thing for me, like with my friends and stuff. Like, we exchange this, you know, delicious food and we both enjoy it and we savor it. And I could have none of that with you. I'm so sorry. Yeah. And your terrible energy drinks that had to move out of the refrigerator. I'm so sorry. Yeah, I don't like lobster.

Go figure. But I do love Maine. And I'm happy for Uber. I mean, obviously I thought that. I could have seen this a mile away coming from a mile away. And I think probably anybody who hasn't been living under a rock probably did too. But I do think it will be a very lucrative experience for him. But I just thought, you know, the story, obviously him opening the car store is cool.

But the guy's showing up. Jason Williams, ironically, name. And if you're a basketball guy, you know who that is. but not that Jason Williams but a Jason Williams who actually pulled the or won I always struggle with saying

what happens when the break is that a win I don't want to call it gambling so did you win or is it you pulled it I don't know but you didn't pull it because you weren't there you or someone else pulled it for you I don't know anyway I digress no I don't want any law after me or whatnot because they're already in trouble but anyway

The point of this, he showed up. Logo with the load. I don't know if he had it in hand or not. I didn't catch that part. He showed pictures. I was looking at different parts of the story. I think he did. But obviously it's for sale right now.

And he wanted to show up and thank Cooper because he's like, he wanted to thank him for it. It's kind of weird. It's like, I want to thank you. Cooper is probably like, Cooper can buy that card. Have you interesting if he bids on it? I don't know.

So I looked at the auction. Last time I looked at it was at 2.4. mill already. With like, 10 days left. Yeah. You want to get in on it? Well, so I clicked bid.

And I was like, you know, not actually going through the process, but I wanted to see if it would let me and like what I had to do to like actually. And it let me get farther than I was. Okay. You thought maybe you'd get to where, okay, got to plug it to bank account. Like show, show some liquidity here. Some assets. You have to have like, because they need to be.

able to verify that the person can actually make that transaction. But I was like, it's letting me get way farther than I thought. But I did think about putting a fake thing. I want to say, I want to throw this out there. All right. So let's finish this story, but then I'm going to throw some on her. So Jason showed up, thanked Cooper was there. Very cool. And great media, by the way. Speaking of that, there's 2.4 mill, we don't know what that card's going to go for. But let's say it goes for three or four. I think that was estimates. I make it go higher. But what's the media value of the coverage you give if you buy it? Like if you have a startup and you're a well-funded startup,

could the media coverage that you get buying that card, let's say I just started grillcleanors.com, you know, a dirt-de-comers. And I bought the card. And every bit of coverage, I had grillcleaners.com shirts on. it might be the most efficient media buy of all time because you're going to get so much PR from that. A big brand, this is free advice.

I mean, this is like, this was million dollar advice like three years ago. So this is free now, luckily. But literally, if I'm a brand, they could afford it. Dick should buy it. I don't know if they're like they can't. I don't know the rule. I would think that they could. Yeah, I don't know.

But or if you're a wealthy entrepreneur and you're wanting to get your personal brand kicked off and you can afford this, you couldn't buy the amount of impressions for this amount of money. No, that's a very important. Especially if you're willing to hit the circuit, because Good Morning America would have you on. Every news station would,

all the internet journals, all the business insider, Fox News, you hire a really inexpensive PR person that knows what they're doing. Not inexpensive, but just, you know,

you don't have to go overboard. Three or four grand, maybe, maybe more. five grand it's called five grand hire them tell them what you're doing they get it all lined up

you buy it I mean I have to look at the numbers but I bet it's a pretty efficient buy of the amount of impressions because you can't you don't have anything interesting enough otherwise they're not going to talk about growcleter.com they want to talk about that card

so you wear a shirt or you do something you do you attach yourself to it I don't know that's a fair point And I'm listening. I'm like, yeah, that's a great idea. So if you're listening. There you go.

You never know what you're going to get here on collector station. If you have $5 million of expendable cat. I'm just saying like that, you know, Jeff Wilson, you got to do stores open and buy this thing, baby. Yeah. We'll cover it. Yep. All right. The biggest news of the week is definitely the state.

I feel like I need the state of grading. Like something like that. We'll get a voice better than whatever the hell that was. But coming to the main stage, it's grading. Okay, never mind. That's not that either. Cut off. Cut off.

Cut off, cut off. Anyway, lots of news. Let's give the condensed version. PSA comes out, cheaper version. No longer 80, going to be 60, 59, 99. I like that, you know. That's how you do it right there. That's a marketing 101, not $10.

It's $9.99, baby. We say it's mental. It is mental, though. In all seriousness, $59.99 for them. You got SGC at 80. Wow, the SSA's cheaper than SGC now. But to throw it all over. Look, Colin, my boy of Beckett, who we're going to get on this show again,

we've got to have a follow of Colin. I like a lot. I like the vision. He did what they said they were going to do. They came back in six weeks exactly to the day. Colin, you did what you said. I love your brother for doing that. And if nothing else, so many people in this business,

say they'll do something. and they don't do it, you did it. You said, we're going out for six weeks, we're getting some things in order, we're coming back, and they did. So now you got a real opportunity. So, Beckett, pay attention. You got 1799.

You got your value tier. You got your standard, so you can speed it up a little bit. You've actually got some real options now. You've got the most trusted brand in all of the, Beckett is, I believe, the most trusted brand. Is it the most valuable brand in grading?

No, PSA is. Beckett, Colin, you got a real chance right here. Because look, I got like 30 cards that I wasn't going to send because it didn't make send at 80. I'm like, I'll take a Beckett slab at 1799 for some of these. You kidding me? So now you got some clear options. You got Beckett, you know, value tiers. You got the 5999 PSA.

I don't know exactly. Everybody's talking like, don't you have nine million cards to get through first for those start happening? And I think it was like PSA's way of like, we don't want to like completely, we've kind of shuddered business for a little while. but we don't want to completely go away. Yeah. So, hey, don't leave and never come back. So let me throw this out there.

Yeah. Currently, their PSA's backlog is at $9.9 million. And they said the full open up value tiers once they hit $5 million. I mean, you know, I see that number. And look, it's been shipping down. It was like 15 mil. So, you know, it's coming down. But I look at that and I'm like, you know, you talk about like eating an elephant one bite at a time.

I would have to just not look at that. No. I would feel like I could never get there. It's like a common Mount St. Helena or something. And I think it will help because they do have now the Frankfurt grading. Yeah, you don't need to get overseas stuff. That will all set people sending it from overseas here. Yes.

So that will help a little. So you got SGC is going to be the clear. Okay, I've got some vintage shit. It's worth a lot. 80 bucks. That's a rounding error. You know, like if it's a multi-thousand-dollar vintage card, go to SCC. PSA has got the 59 value.

tier once they catch up whenever that happens next year I guess probably so there's one clear answer right now and it's called Beckett and I think that this is going to be Beckett's kind of like relaunch it should be they did leave it on there like subject to uh we might have the shut down again if we get too busy well I think you're going to get busy yeah I mean because I'm going to make you busy at least with our how many ever cards it is probably not us but but it combined because I'm not the we're not you know this is this is isn't the high-end intelligent analysis here. It's just

literally math. And it's one thing if it was, you know, a $20 difference, people probably would still go with PSA. But you know, when PSA is at 100 days for $60 and Beck, it's significantly cheaper and the turnaround time

is probably going to be faster. Yeah. I get in now. I'm just saying, I think they will have to showdown. Yeah. I hate it. But they literally are, but they are up. They are up right now because I started a submission and I've got it on my desktop. And I want to get it in. I'm like racing.

Yeah, get it in quick. But see, all this is done is so weird. I mean, I report on the stuff. I know these things. I know what's happened. But I want to shop. We got cards and their stuff. And so then I know what it's doing to, you know, everyone else.

Whoa, whoa. Like, because all this is done is sort of created more value in the grading. Yeah. When something becomes scarce and unavailable, it takes on more value. To suddenly then get, whoa, I can get back in the buffet for 1799. And no, it's not the filet as far as value, flayay mignon, but it's a damn good ribbi. And it's trusted. I know it's good taste good.

And it might just have more value long term because they might be a winner once all this dust settles in a few years. I don't know. Yeah, that's all fair. And it's all one company, but they're all independently operated, and I've done the legwork there. If there's another merger or another change, it was a plan necessarily these three are all independent. And I don't know. Colin and I need to scheme some. I'm very interested and curious as to how it will all turn out in the next couple of months and what it will do to the market.

I think it's been too – I mean, it's already – we've already seen shifts in the market, but I think it's too soon to make – definitive, you know, statements on how it's really going to impact the market. But I'm excited for Beckett. And I think that this will be good. And I think it's going to help at least, I mean, I know they're owned by the same people, but take down a little bit the monopoly of PSA, at least temporarily. Maybe. We need value to spread out.

So let's talk about some of the predictions you were right about these past couple of weeks. So I'd be buying. I've been buying. He's been buying like a nap thing. Before the season starts, getting them all in.

And let's just say I was stacking up on Jackson Darts, Caleb Williams, everybody that plays for the Bears, including this downtown, one of my favorites here at Dunsey, and Luther Burden Jr., or Luther Bird and 2rd, excuse me. I'm getting my juniors in Byrd. We were talking about that Kenneth Walker Jr. or the third? How many thirds do we have? You know, like clearly a lot.

Anyway, let's call them Burden and Roma Dunze. Anyway, anybody associated with Caleb in Chicago right now. Thumbs up and buy. You should have already bought. But big week for the quarterbacks. I mean, the quarterbacks are always front and center. But the headliners were the headliners. They came out hot and heavy this week.

Yes. And it made for some exciting football. And I think everyone was thoroughly enjoyed the time. I mean, I know. I could have been more happy. Sunday. Jaguars got out to a huge, like, they were beating the shit out of, uh, free. I hated it for Deshawn, but, you know, you think you're with Cleveland.

Sorry, buddy. You got a check. He's also, Deshawn. And, and you made some bad decisions, but I forgive him for all that. We should all get forgiveness, even no matter how bad it is. But doesn't mean I forget and we're not, it doesn't matter because it does matter. But I just can put that over here and go, you lost. Yep.

Because you're with the Browns. And Trevor had a great game. I love what they're doing in Jacksonville. I love the coach. But ultimately, Josh Allen was Josh Allen. You go into Houston, who's still got the best defense in the league. I still think that even after the game. It's just you played Superman.

And some of the throws that he made on Sunday, let me just say, those are big boy throws. He is a big boy. I'm excited. I think this could be his year, and that would make me so happy. There's no one that would be happy. I know. I know that there's no one that would be ever. I'll be getting bonuses in forms of Josh Allen cards.

Everyone, everyone getting bonuses. But it's not even that. I mean, it is that, but it's more, he's my favorite player, not because I necessarily over leveraged on Josh Allen. But he had a great game. Caleb Williams, 59 points for the Bears. And I hated it. We're like an hour and a half from Charlotte, Carolina.

I'm not really a Panthers fan. I don't root against them, but I just didn't grow up a Panthers fan. And so I hated it, but, you know, two things to be true. I mean, they look better, but they hit a juggernaut. I think Chicago's just that good this year. And the quarterback showed out. Jackson Dart had something no one's ever done. Crazy, crazy game.

His rating with the rushing yards, with no people. picks. It's like a combination of like three or four different stats that had never been done in NFL history. Yep. 230 yards, three touchdown, no picks. Yeah. And I bought and have him and Scatibo in spades.

And it's, there you go. Look, Jim Hardball, there's John Harbaugh and there's Jim Harbaugh. Jim Harbaugh lost to a 10 point as a 10 point favorite. The Super Bowl champion. And look, I like Jim. But John Harbaugh, the coach of the Giants, is a professional coach that I just believed was going to, I did not know they were going to come out and beat the Cowboys as dominant as they did. I did not know that, but I did know that they would be better.

Yeah. I mean, it's also the Cowboys. Yes, but they got some dudes on that team. They always do. But John Harbaal versus any Cowboys team, are you kidding? That's like men versus boys as far as coaching and strategy. And, like, they took it to them. I was like watching it.

Like the Cowboys had the ball twice in the second half. And I was like, I almost felt bad for him. Scatibo was like running over people. He was like chewing on somebody's leg. I think he ate a couple towels. I don't even know. It's like, he did 14 cartwheels. And it was like, I could hear it like literally.

I was watching on TV. I could hear this coming from the Cowboy players. Yeah. Mercy, mercy, mercy. Literally. I mean, I heard it through the TV screen. Like, I was saying, I was like, he's going to hurt somebody. Like, he's running over them. They were so worn out. The defense on the field, the entire second half, it was just domination.

And Jackson looked poised. He looked like he did last year, but with better coaching. I'm just hoping they can keep him healthy and keep him check. And I think it will be a really good season for them. It's one-on-one cards. It's something one-on-one cards sold, like record numbers. I was just looking like as downtown gone up, you know, like, I got a, I got a few of those. And as a Connecticut, Ian, Connecticutian.

Connecticut, yeah, yeah. I'll claim the Giants. So, you know, let's go. Yes. I mean, and then Kenneth Walker's, I mean, Monday night football, he was an absolute beast. Like, I knew he was good. I did. I knew he's good in Seattle.

I knew it was a good pickup. That's going to be a good pickup. I don't know that anyone knew quite how good it was. Yeah. And he showed us. All right. Moving on to who you were disappointed in. Yeah, it's like hot or not.

It was like Desi. And Kansas City looked good and they won. I still have like an asterisk on that game. I need to see it again from KC. I'm not ready to anoint them back yet. My homes are a really bad interception. He threw a couple's balls. I was like, I don't want them to have a.

But if he's impacting the game, a couple big runs, block, whatever it is,

his car, his market will follow. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. So, yeah. Anyway, we're excited for this week's football games. We got some pretty key matchups happening. Which one? Well, I'm assuming the bills you're most excited for. But what are you looking for? What are you going to be looking at? Yeah. It's football season, so it's kind of like a loaded question. I'm like, well, what am I looking for? Well, Clemson plays on Saturday against North Carolina.

And after a devastating first loss, and then a devastating second performance, I'm... You're looking for them to... I just want to watch more than the first quarter. Because that's really been... The first two games, I watched a little more of that in the second one. The first one I couldn't watch anymore.

I just don't like people watching. things die. Fair. Sorry, that's dramatic. But it's just painful. I'm excited to see the Giants versus Rams. I think that that will be a pretty interesting game and a pretty telling game as well. Yes.

It will be because you got the Giants. Hey, you'll be the Cowboys. Well, now you get to play the pissed off Rams and cross country. You've got to go to L.A. I think that that game could tell us a lot and tell us nothing. And here's what I mean by that. The Rams might win by 25 points. And it doesn't mean that the Giants suck,

and it doesn't mean the Rams are all fixed. They're going to be pissed off. They got a lot of talented players, and I would expect them to play well. Giants are coming across the country. They're still a young team. Harbaal do his best. And I'm not predicting them to lose,

but they get blown out. It doesn't mean anything is what I'll say. The Colts got to get together quickly because they didn't look good at all. Danny Dimes, you got a gig on. Jonathan Taylor, let's go. I think you could see the Chiefs still laying it down. Sunday night heat in Kansas City,

loud, raucous crowd. Eh, not bode well. I'd be loading, probably little cheese. In some ways, I'd have to see the spread up. It's like, like 9 or 10 or something. Take the Colts, but not that we're a gambling site, but let's just say I did a lot back in the day. I know how these lines move.

I just don't bet on it anymore. Yep. I just got smarter with the money. Even if I wanted it and I hate losing. The Vikings at the Bears, I mean, can we say like have a moment of silence? Yeah, that one's going to be tough. I just think the Bears are that good. I think the Vikings look disheveled.

So I knew Kyler Murers to get knocked out. That's why I bought Jay-J's. I bought him. I didn't know Carson Winst was going to be the backup. Jay-J, get it together, dude. Dude, Carson Wentz has a has been. You need to like, you can't beat out Carson Wentz? What are you doing, brother?

I know. And I was like, I didn't want, I just, exactly what I thought was going to happen. I just thought Collar Murray is fragile. He's going to get hurt. First quarter out. I'm not rooting for that to happen, by the way. And Carson Wentz goes trodden in. I'm like, who had, I didn't, I need to follow these lines a little bit more.

That one, I mean, if I'm going to boot wins and losses, that was still neutral. I bought these cards so cheap. Yeah. He didn't have to play. I, it's like, it was really like we had like a fire hose of things when we first opened, slow down a little bit. Now it's like a fire hose again. You just never know what's going to walk in the door. So this week, really quick, lots, let's just say, let me start with the headline. the greatest collection of Scotty Pippin inserts on the face of the earth. So Scotty Pippin who played with Michael Jordan, I think it's one of the top 50 best players. They did a list that's been a while. Should do a new one.

Best players all the time. He was on there. Six titles with Jordan. Semi popular. I mean, great player, semi-popular. We'll leave it there. Personality. Personality.

You know. Discussion. Yeah. But literally. And I'll hold up a couple of these if you can see them, but this is just a sampling. I would say four to 500 random Scotty Pippin cards in a binder. Well, it's the highest value ones you found. The 90s inserts are hot right now.

You've got these metal inserts and different things. Like, pretty cool. Like, these are 30-year-old cards. And, like, some things I look at and I go, we really haven't taken a step forward. They look better then than they do now. And it's like, what do we've been doing for 30 years? Like we keep regurgitating and some of this AI stuff. It's like they're cool.

Anyway, Scotty Pippin and Surge just happened to be a few pages of Jordan's in there. Obviously. So let's just say if you went in there, like look at this guy here. Look at on, hey, if you're not listening, you need to be watching. This is a Fleer, Ultra. some pretty cool cards What's that comped out right now? This in the collector station

stickered magloader is easily a three-figure card. Yes, obviously. I think Rawl is like 30 or 40 bucks, but this thing, corners are nice. But the sticker, that adds a couple of grass. And let's just say this, this binder had about seven years of cigarette smoke on it. However, every card and every sleeve

of the binder was in a sleeve. So it was like, you know, double-sleeved in that thing. So it only had two letters. No, it's actually, nine out of ten cards were perfectly fine. Occasional one, you know, to get the wind deck. I'm kidding. That's like a card collector's nightmare is cigarette smoke. Kurt's card care come to the rescue.

Go check them out if you have a nerd. He is great. And it's a great product. But luckily I didn't have to do that almost. Most of them was just kind of dusting off them in the new, the new protective and like a handful of random baseball cards, like inserts and merches. And this was actually Raphael for call. If you're a brace person, you know who that is.

And like the best pristine condition you've ever seen, and it was like one of his bats, a piece of his bat. Oh, great. That's cool. Yeah, upper deck from the, I guess it was 2000s, early 2000s. And I did pick up this, really, speaking of 90s, insert, this Kobe Bryant, pick this up. Old Facebook Marketplace. Oh, God, I'm addicted.

I don't know. I feel like I'd be like, I guess if it's in a Beckett's lab, it's a little bit more legit. But. Facebook Marketplace? You kidding? I mean, I've almost got. Quality items on that. I've almost gotten scammed somehow selling items.

I got a Louis Vuitton on there. It seems perfect. Might want to make sure it's real. Yeah. I mean, it's, that plethora, you know, is quality. Straight off of it, though. I mean, the strap broke before I even got home, but, you know, I thought it was good. My wife liked it.

I'm just kidding. But the Beckett's slat. You can't mimic that. Well, yeah, maybe you could. But anyway, real card. Kobe Bryant, is this metal universe? Yeah. No, metal.

Kobe Bryant from 1999, a 9 on the Beckett scale, Beckett Richter scale. of nine. And hey, I mean, you know, I'm always looking at a nine's going. I think every collector does this. Can I get a 10? He said, we're the rescinding. Can I crack this baby? Yep. Let me see. I think it could make it. I mean, not with those prices right now. No, this one, this one I see, there's like one corner. And honestly, sometimes I look at it and I'm trying to make it a 10 and I'm like, it probably should have been an eight. Yeah. I think I'll keep it in that nine slab. Yeah.

Speaking of metal cards, I know you've been talking about them, a 1997 metal universe Jordan, PSA 9, it's up 961% from selling on... I wish my equity trades... I know. Selling in May 2025 for $300, it just sold this September for $3,183. So that just shows you, you know, I mean, obviously, Jordan. Jordan's Jordan. But I feel like everyone is talking about Jordan among vintage cards so much more than they were a year ago. That's why you should buy Pippin inserts. Yeah. So go check out the collector station.
