Starting point is 00:01:27 I am Jimmy Wissman. Thank you folks so much for joining us again today on a wonderful, wild, crazy, insane edition of Crime and Sports. And this is a heavy hitter episode, as we like to call the kind of more famous, the ones people ask for all the time, the more famous. There's about 25 of them out there, you know, and that's that's this is part of that group here so this is very exciting it's a good it's a good time i want to thank everyone this week first of all for their reviews on apple podcast that purple icon we don't understand why but for some reason those count a lot i don't know why but they help drive you up the charts. It's a funky algorithm. It's not our doing.
Starting point is 00:02:06 So that's why we say, hey, please give us five stars. It helps the show, helps drive you up the charts. Then people notice you, that sort of thing. So it doesn't matter what you say. You can say it's very dark in here and I'm scared, so I'm leaving this review so they'll let me out. And we're fine with that. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:02:21 We understand. Do that. Check all that out. Please go to shut up and give me murder.com my goodness so much new merchandise up now sarah's been working hard on that there's all sorts of new stuff up there so much for your support definitely do that all your small town murder merchandise up there as well if you're not listening to small town murder i don't know what you're doing right i just don't understand you i you're you're you're beyond my my comprehension
Starting point is 00:02:44 we'll put it that way. You should listen to Small Town Murder. It's a crazy show like this, but with murder in a small town. It's pretty insane. So listen to that. Check that out. Also, check out everything there, including tickets to live shows. Right.
Starting point is 00:02:56 That's what you got to get. Your tickets to live shows, small town murder live shows, all laid out for 2020. In February, we have Salt Lake lake city and denver sold out but then the 15th and 16th we're in indianapolis and then of course in louisville the next night so get your tickets right now for those very very quickly before they're gone and we're excited for that i have to say that right now and if you want to be an even bigger bigger friend of the show because you can you can leave us a review that's amazing but then there's the people you want to be a producer yeah you want to be part
Starting point is 00:03:29 of the crime and sports movement part of the crime and sports team you can do that very very easily by going to patreon.com slash crime and sports or head over to paypal and use your email address crime and sports at gmail.com and you can do that and we are we will be best friends yeah and we'll call you a producer yeah and we'll talk about you at the end of the show in glowing terms say your name wrong and jimmy will mispronounce your name that i promise you even if it's simple you'll go well my name's very simple doesn't matter can't be as easy as smith it's got to be smith right he mispronounced pamela so anything is possible anything's possible sorry pamela we apologize a great deal you're a wonderful very understanding person for understanding that we're uh we're
Starting point is 00:04:12 idiots and our reading skills are not great so that said let's do this because it's a doozy and it's a it's it's a thick deep one good whenever we get famous people it's it's such it's so hard because there's so much if it's someone not famous it's basically everything i can find is poured into the episode when it's someone who's famous for decades it's just it's overwhelming it's so much and it's a lot to sift through yet how they can make documentaries about like making a murder and they can make it look one way and then do an entire different because there's so much and make it look entirely different because yeah the information's there that's what i mean and if they're famous in the
Starting point is 00:04:47 80s and 90s say a jose canseco or something you you didn't have like tmz all you had was just if if you know la times wrote an article about him that was it whereas now anything anybody does if they're famous in the 2000s yeah it's it's out there a million times over that's what we got today social media is amplifying it that's what we got today? Social media is amplifying it. That's what we got today, because we have pretty boy Floyd Money Mayweather. Oh, shit. That's right. We're going Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Of course, he's a fucking junior. And boy, is he a junior, man. Holy shit, in every aspect. Yeah. And we'll tread lightly on his dad, because we're going to do an episode on his dad. Really? Oh, yeah. I was going to include a bunch of that. His dad's not? Oh, yeah. I was going to include a bunch of that. His dad's not much of a dick.
Starting point is 00:05:26 I was going to include a bunch of his dad stuff in here, but number one, there's no time, and number two, there's enough for an episode on his dad, and his dad was a good boxer, too. So, what the hell? Comes from a family of boxers, and he's one of the few we've had with two nicknames, actually. Really? Yeah, Money. He's Pretty Boy coming up always, and then later on-
Starting point is 00:05:44 He loves that team money he went with money after that and i haven't heard pretty boy mentioned in a long time i went away real fast it's kind of weird if you're 41 years old you're going by pretty boy yeah anyway is that how old that man is yeah he was born february 24th 1977 so yeah he's going to be 43 coming up here this year christ i had no idea absolutely and he's going to be 43 coming up here this year. My Christ, I had no idea. Absolutely. And he's been boxing his whole fucking life? His whole goddamn life. We'll get into it right now.
Starting point is 00:06:11 He was born, first of all, wasn't born Floyd Mayweather Jr. No. He was born Floyd Joy Sinclair. What? His middle name is Joy, Jimmy. Just remember that. Remember through this whole thing. Floyd Joy. A sullen, annoying, grumpy little remember that. Remember through this whole thing. Pretty Boy Joy.
Starting point is 00:06:25 A sullen, annoying, grumpy little shit that he's full of joy. His middle name is fucking Joy, which is amazing. That's so hilarious. Pretty Boy Joy. Sinclair was his first, which is his mother's maiden name. Got it. Because his mom and his dad weren't exactly doing well. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:41 We'll put it that way. Oh, this is so good. He'll adopt his father's name later on when he comes back into the picture here. So, yeah, it's a mess from Dave. He changed his name. Oh, yeah. To the right way. Well, it's like, I don't want my middle name to be Joy, right?
Starting point is 00:06:56 Money's better than Joy. For sure. What's cooler, money or joy, if you're a boxer? Money sure brings me joy. I like that. It brings me joy. And then that. It brings me joy. And then Sinclair. This is so good.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Sounds like an old man. Yeah. That's the dinosaur's name. Remember that show? Oh, yeah, yeah. That was their last name. No, that's right. They were the Sinclairs.
Starting point is 00:07:15 There you go. Can't get older than a fucking dinosaur. He watched that stupid show. He's right there in the wheelhouse of that generation. He is. Oh, man. He is. 77.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Absolutely. He was a teenager watching that. Well, who knows? He is. Oh, man. He is. He's 77. Absolutely. He was a teenager watching that. Well, who knows? I don't think he had a TV when he was a teenager, as we'll talk about here. His grandfather's mom's father's from Jamaica. So he's got some roots there. His childhood. First, you have to know who his family is.
Starting point is 00:07:39 His father, his uncle, his father and two of his uncles are both boxers. Both pro boxers. All three of them are pro boxers, and none of them are lousy either. Really? There's not a guy in here who's like, hey, he's 20, 42, and 6 or something for his career. All of them have winning records. They're all good fighters. His father, his uncle Jeff, who's his father's brother, was 32, 10, and 5 over his career. Sounds like a Jamaican guy.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Yeah. Jamaican named Jeff. Jeff. Well, that's his mother. This is his father okay got it got it uh it's his father his uh his jeff here his uncle retired in 97 actually their careers overlapped him in floyd no kidding which is interesting he he actually has lost to oscar de la joya his uh yeah jeff and uh also jesse james leha who was a good fighter too lost to him and his uncle roger was 59 and 13 over his career which is his uncle has a nickname and everything his uncle's the black mamba no kidding and he's the original i mean that's take that out kobe pre kobe oh way pre kobe yeah this is from the from like 1980 he was that's incredible he so they
Starting point is 00:08:41 they always do they they they're like a royalty of that weight class too because that kind of yeah it's the class he was fighting oh absolutely yeah and uh uncle roger fought julio cesar chavez and pernell whitaker and he's a big challenger in this in the welter weight and 147 and 154 in that period in that you know weight class yeah they're all big shit i mean they fought big fighters and uh his father also as we'll talk about him a little more his father was a real good fighter in 1978 floyd senior loses uh by tko in 10 rounds to sugar ray leonard oh so this was when sugar ray leonard first came out of the olympics and he was hot fucking shit i mean it was he was everybody was dropping new father oh he's everyone he was a sugar man and uh so uh it's
Starting point is 00:09:26 at this point floyd is not quite two years old okay uh grace we're gonna call grace right now grace and a diaper grace and a diaper yeah absolutely now normally if you're not if you're brand new to the show here grace is usually our point of the peak. It's right where the wave's about to break back. So are you falling? It's the peak. That's the peak. And then where it starts to go back downhill. Now, for Floyd, career wise, it's never gone downhill, as we'll talk about.
Starting point is 00:09:55 He's still on the mountaintop. So there's no unless he comes back and fights and loses. He's really hasn't lost anything in terms of that. But as far as life goes, grace. Right here, I'm going to say, because it's a rough life otherwise. From here on, it's all humble pie. It's just a lot, man.
Starting point is 00:10:15 When he's not quite two years old, this happens. It's 1978, this is. Okay, this is a story from Rolling Stone that was told through the family here. And there's a guy, his uncle, his uncle's name's Tony, Tony Sinclair. Everyone calls him Baboon. That's his nickname. Good Lord.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Baboon. I'm not calling him that. I personally would say, Tony, let me talk to you for a minute. How you doing, Tony? Hello, Mr. Sinclair. Especially from a phase not i know it's the mother's side but there's a lot of people that know how to fight around so you know err on the side of keeping your teeth probably err on the side of straight noses i'm
Starting point is 00:10:53 not calling a big black guy baboon we'll put it that way even if he says call me black baboon i'm like really that's like we know a guy uh who worked at a very small comedy club out here that we used to work all the time and it's good to work your work your shit out and uh there know a guy who worked at a very small comedy club out here that we used to work all the time. And it's good to work your shit out. And there was a guy who worked the door and kind of just worked around it. He was a black dude. He was from Mississippi. And his name was Cornbread. And you'd say, what's up?
Starting point is 00:11:18 I'm James. And he'd be like, Cornbread. How was that? No, I'm full. Thanks. And you were like, okay, that's Cornbread. Now, Sarah, when she met him she's like i can't call you cornbread i just can't she's like i'm sorry i'm not doing it what's your
Starting point is 00:11:30 name i can't call you cornbread and he's like he said his exact words were my mama call me cornbread she's like okay well good for her mama call me cornbread that's uh it's your cornbread i guess at that point i he he was like no what are you talking about? I'm not insulted by it. That's what my mother called everybody. I'm not insulted if you don't. That's what it was. Like, that's what I want to be called. All right, then, cornbread.
Starting point is 00:11:51 And now cornbread's dead. Oh, that's right. Cornbread died. That's very sad. I liked cornbread. He was a crazy motherfucker. He was funny. That's probably why.
Starting point is 00:11:58 That's probably why, yeah. We don't know. He and the comedy club owner one time gotten a huge argument a complete fucking lunatic a great guy but a complete unbelievable dude got in an argument outside the window that you can clearly see from the showroom while i was on stage one time there's just these two people screaming in each hand i mean it's the funniest pantomime of two seriously angry people and i did play by play on it for the whole crowd. I was like, I got to stop for a moment and look over here.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Nothing I can do is as interesting as that. I'm sorry. Please avert your attention past that window. Yeah, I mean. To see a large, likely on drugs white man yelling at a black man named Cornbread. Also likely on drugs. So it's the two of them. I know for a fact
Starting point is 00:12:45 that's probably what they were arguing over as a matter of fact i will now attempt to narrate whatever is happening oh i was because you could set yourself on fire i don't care who you are i don't care if you're bill burke or george carlin comes back from the dead if there's two men about to be in a fist fight that's taking precedence to whatever you're saying it doesn't matter it's fucking hilarious and especially in that way where you can just see these big gestures. Corbett is arguing with a man who has many fist fights under his record. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:12 All losses. Well, most of them are involuntary. That's true. Most of them are like, what'd you say? I don't know what I... Ow! Fuck!
Starting point is 00:13:19 What did I say? I'm sorry. And they're all losses. Every one of them. He never means to. That's why he's a nice guy. So, Baboon. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Floyd's mother, Deborah. This is her brother, Baboon. Okay. Now, Baboon is in, we'll call it business, with Floyd Sr. Yeah. Who is a drug dealer. Yeah. Floyd Sr.'s a drug dealer.
Starting point is 00:13:44 And, yeah so uh this is baboon and him work together a little bit where at apparently this is in grand rapids michigan he's born in grand rapids i should have said that yeah uh mayweather and he's poor tough city man he comes up a little bit in grand rapids and then moves to new jersey for a little while we'll talk about but uh so this is january 21st 1978 okay i'm sorry 1979 so uh baboon's over at the house and uh he's got some beef with floyd senior over something apparently uh there's been some some business beef and uh so there this is four months after the sugar ray leonard fight right so baboon thinks he can fight this man well that's you lost... Because if you lost to Sugar Ray, I'd probably lose to him, too.
Starting point is 00:14:25 That's the thing. He kind of knows that maybe going over and trying to fight Floyd might not be the brightest thing in the world. This man literally just went 10 rounds with the best pound-for-pound fighter going right now. So he'll probably kick my ass, okay? So apparently there was a confrontation at a local roller rink. This is very 70s.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Yeah, it is. Imagine this. Oh, boy. You know everyone's got an afro, and there is like disco in the roller rink this is very 70s imagine this oh boy you know everyone's got an afro and there is like disco in the roller rink playing and people with huge collars yeah and while this is going on floyd senior grabs baboon by the throat oh boy yeah this is like a scene this isn't a i didn't this isn't an excerpt from dolomite this is this happened and apparently uh baboon took off running yeah here uh from he was like i don't
Starting point is 00:15:07 want to fight you obviously you were wearing roller skates i think i can outrun you that's the thing i'll go through the grass yeah i'll do that so uh apparently that's that that was that for a moment floyd senior went home uh this is you know floyd senior and the floyd's mom deborah and floyd little floyd are all there and apparently uh baboon comes back for for another talk yeah this time though he realizes that he's he's let's say not on equal footing with floyd senior so he says to even this up i'm gonna bring a 20 gauge shotgun with me let's do this yeah let's do this a different way uh so he comes over and uh he he does he comes over with the shotgun and apparently mayweather senior this is what everybody uh said he said quote apparently floyd jr latched on to floyd senior he was scared i'm sure uh and floyd
Starting point is 00:15:59 senior said quote if you're going to kill me you're going to kill the baby too and uh he says floyd jr's mother, give me the baby. She was pulling the baby out of my arm so her brother could shoot me. It's like, give me the, here, take the baby so he can shoot me and get this over with. But I wasn't going to put that baby down. I didn't want to die. So Floyd is going to hold the baby. This is how, okay.
Starting point is 00:16:22 He held Floyd Weather Jr a as a human shield an infant because he didn't think he would shoot him with a toddler he says quote it wasn't about putting my son in the light of fire i knew sinclair wouldn't shoot the baby so he took the gun off my face and lowered it to my leg and bam and shot floyd senior in the leg he did oh he shot him in the leg with a shotgun absolutely he just Oh, he shot him in the leg with a shotgun. What the fuck? Absolutely. He just came down and shot him in the leg instead.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Holding Floyd Mayweather. Holding Floyd Jr. Wow. First of all, this is the first lesson that Floyd taught. I don't care about, I don't know if it's not, it's a Dexter thing. I don't care if the kid is too young. He's not even three yet. He won't know. Bullshit.
Starting point is 00:17:02 That's something that's going to be in your psyche. That's what he was first thought of. his uncle shot his dad in front of him and didn't and my and my dad held me rather than put me bring me to safety right it's more important you know what i'm saying like that's my first lesson in fatherhood he also just taught him that he's the most valuable thing that his dad owns that's kind of nice sort of yeah i mean not that valuable if you put it in line of a shotgun nor most people would turn their back to shield their kid they wouldn't be like or you're not gonna shoot my kid are you like that's not a fucking normal response hey he wouldn't shoot my kid would you he's so confident he's not gonna take out the child how confident are you i mean
Starting point is 00:17:41 that's the other thing good lord so uh it shot him in the calf really messed up floyd senior's calf uh he ends up keep he keeps boxing but he's never the same guy sure when you're his legs are just not as quick and his legs aren't relying on one good one now that's the thing here and he kind of turns into a it's kind of a he's a good record but he turns into kind of a schlub here uh he fights until his last fight's in 1990, but he has no fights really between 85 and 90. So 85 is kind of the end of his career, and there was really nothing going on. Floyd Sr. said, quote, At that time I was still fighting.
Starting point is 00:18:16 I had to hustle to get money because I had kids to feed. I wanted to make sure that little Floyd didn't have to do that when he was coming up. That's one of the reasons he's as good as he is today. So he's trying to take credit for that. He literally said, Floyd's good because I sold drugs. Let's be honest here. That's what happened. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:33 So, okay. Now, he also, Floyd Sr., taught Mayweather another thing when he was little. He taught him how to punch the right way and do everything. Basically, he had a box when he was a toddler. The mechanics of it, yeah. If he could stand up and hold up gloves, he's going to show him how to punch the right way and do everything. Basically, he had a box when he was a toddler. The mechanics of it, yeah. If he could stand up and hold up gloves, he's going to show them how to do it. Absolutely. So that's people who start boxing later on or even when they start when they're 12.
Starting point is 00:18:56 You can't compare to someone who literally, it's just muscle memory. They don't remember not doing it. That's amazing. And for someone, normally you might get to that when the kid's like 17. He doesn't want to do it anymore because he's sick muscle memory. They don't remember not doing it. You know, that's amazing. And for someone normally you might get to that. And when the kid's like 17, he doesn't want to do it anymore because he's sick of it. But when you have someone who that's all they want to do and they've been trained since they were little, you get the opposite of Todd Marinovich, you know, because this is basically what they did with Todd Marinovich. Except we saw that worked out because he was bad. He wasn't into it.
Starting point is 00:19:21 So bad. Floyd wants to fight. So you end up with a guy who ends up with half a billion dollars later on in life. So it's crazy here. So Floyd Sr. retires in 1990. He ends up being 28-6-1 for his career, which is a pretty fucking good record, man. That's not bad at all. Yeah, he won four times as many as he lost.
Starting point is 00:19:42 That's pretty good to me. won you know four times as many as he lost that's pretty good to me so uh now during the 80s mayweather moves to brunswick new jersey which is not a good area at all very uh it's not even rough it's very lateral in terms of from grand rapids michigan that shit ain't even lateral no no this is fucking grand rapids is rough it's tough stuff but i just, 80s in this area, this is holy shit. Crack epidemic and all that shit. This is open war on the fucking streets, man. This is crazy time. And what, Brunswick?
Starting point is 00:20:11 Yeah. That's right next to Newark. Yeah, it's right there. Have you seen the, Jesus Christ, the documentary? No. The 7-5? I have not. The crooked cop who got put.
Starting point is 00:20:23 It's all about New York crooked cops in the 80s and it's insane it was just people walking around machine gunning each other and shit it was it was like the fucking 20s in the 80s and what the fuck the crack epidemic in the 80s was like was like prohibition in the 20s like it had the same effect it makes it makes a crack epidemic with the mob and you've got that man dude the news in the 80s growing up was awesome as a kid it was just wall to wall an hour of horror and death and shootings and bodies and fires and it was like holy shit that's entertainment wow man it's raining yeah my mom moved out here and i remember coming out here and seeing the news and they're like hey we're gonna go for a brownie recipe in the next segment i'm like where, where's all the death? I get it.
Starting point is 00:21:05 People are dying, but I want body count. What's going on? We're going to teach you how to make a prickly pear margarita this afternoon. What's up with the body count? There's nobody on the loose. Should we be looking for anybody? Should we be on the lookout for an escaped something? Somebody's got to be here.
Starting point is 00:21:17 The news here is just teaching you recipe with local cactus flowery. Yeah, no. And then in between that is a child drowning yeah but don't worry back to that we've got a new uh put your gate up remember to lock your pool gate now back to uh cactus uh apple fritters let's go to kids on the first day of school aren't they cute aren't they adorable in their new clothes these ones didn't drown all right none of these kids drowned they're here today these parents parents locked their gate. That's right. Responsible parents. So he.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Jesus Christ. Floyd's in New Brunswick. So, yeah, Floyd's in New Brunswick here in Jersey. And he is his mom's relatives are from there. He says, quote, When I was about eight or nine, I lived in New Jersey with my mother and we were seven deep in one bedroom. And sometimes we didn't have electricity. When people see what I have now, they have no idea where I came from and how I didn't have anything growing up. So, yeah, that's what he says.
Starting point is 00:22:19 He says that he used to find like, you know, use needles in the front yard and all that shit. That's that's the 80s. His mother was his mother was a drug addict, too. That's a problem. Yeah. his mother was a drug addict too which is a that's a problem yeah his mom's a drug addict he had an aunt that died of aids from from needles yeah so i mean this is it's he his family was really in the struggle at that time period here uh he said quote people don't know the hell i've been through uh uh there there were seven of us sleeping in a one-bedroom apartment let me tell you how it was. At Christmas, we never had a Christmas. My mother would go out and steal
Starting point is 00:22:48 presents for me. She tried, but it was hard, and that's why I look after her now. So, yeah, that's... He would think he would want to treat women better. Not to foreshadow too much or give away the plot here, but for the love of Christ.
Starting point is 00:23:05 I think you would have just a complete affection for downtrodden and women who had it rough. Yeah, just women in general. Women just have some sort of compassion. How hard did she work for you, you son of a bitch? Fuck, man. So he said that the most time that his father spent talking to him was at the gym because his father would go to the gym with him and help him train and shit like that but that was about it and they didn't really have much of a relationship outside of that he says quote i don't remember him ever taking me anywhere or doing anything that a father would do with a son going to the park or going to the movies or to get ice
Starting point is 00:23:37 cream i always thought he liked his daughter better than me uh that better than he liked me because she never got whippings and i got whippings all the time same as his bro yeah that's that's just i mean fathers don't hit the you got to be a real psycho fathers hitting their sons we're not a real piece of shit to match the fuck that's what i mean i'm not for child abuse of any time but every once in a while your son needs to get a little fucking smack on the head you go hey stupid it they need it it jostles things or they go oh boy i don't know what's going on it resets the battery it does i was 12 and i needed her 14 and i need a smack in the head every once in a while so that's fine i get it but nope if you're a father that hits your daughter you're a fucking monster a monster i mean not even like your wife that's like i said that's all separate terrible but if you hit your daughter
Starting point is 00:24:26 and your father I could never no way oh my god that's insanity I mean I'll spank her from time to time if she's like she's being a real shit if I gotta just like reach over and whack her on the on the ass or on the thigh or whatever I mean it's not exposed skin I'm not leaving marks
Starting point is 00:24:41 I'm not hitting my kid I'm just like resetting hey no you can't do that boy needs a needs a shot to the dome once in a while it's not even that you should it's they do need it not that you should do it but it's good for them you know it's like salt and pepper on a steak it's just it just happens it's yeah it's natural that's how it goes but you shouldn't beat any kid obviously or hit them really or anything like that but your son every once in a while even verbally you gotta go what are you stupid right the hell is
Starting point is 00:25:14 wrong you never say that to your daughter the amount of times i've asked my son the hell is wrong yeah where your daughter you never you don't say that shit to you what's the matter baby yeah what's going on what can i help you with what did i do the son you're like are you kidding me for real dude jesus christ because the son just goes oh my bad i don't know what i do like generally they don't care right yeah i don't know sorry also the other point is my daughter will fucking argue with me what are you doing yeah what are you doing what are we doing? What is this conversation we're having right now? How did this happen? How am I the asshole?
Starting point is 00:25:50 Jesus Christ. Why don't you go to your room and think about it? Okay, but no TV. Alright, fine. I'm here on Netflix, Dad. I swear to Christ. Give me your phone. I'm going to buy something on Amazon. You're paying for it. for what you've done yeah for what you've done you're gonna think about what you've done here when that gets delivered let me tell you something wait till we get these
Starting point is 00:26:12 you see your credit card bill but that's exactly my life that's perfect unbelievable that's a that's the roller coaster that is the wisman household it's better than floyd's i guess floyd said quote my father would beat me for anything i did even if i hadn't done anything i used to pray for the day i could become an adult and get away from it i just got tired of getting beat yeah yeah i mean i got beat too but nobody wants to get beat by a goddamn world-class boxer who knew how to lay it in. Right. My stepfather's right cross was a bit weak. You can see it coming from a while away. He certainly telegraphed. He didn't set you up with the left?
Starting point is 00:26:52 No. Jesus. He dropped that shoulder. I knew it was coming. He could set me up with the left at least. Jesus Christ. Give me a little bob and weave. No blindside.
Starting point is 00:27:00 Come on, man. Come in there. I knew it was coming. Nothing? No shaking and baking at all so uh floyd's fight floyd senior though says that's not really true he says it's different he said quote even though daddy did sell drugs i didn't deprive my son the drugs i sold he was part of it he had plenty of food he had the best clothes and i gave him money he didn't want for
Starting point is 00:27:22 anything anybody in grand rapids can tell you that i took care of my kids yeah but what are you talking about that's yeah you just what what are you saying right now i had to take a pause there because it said he just said i'm such a good dad i saw richard kuklinski was a great dad too what the fuck are you talking about the problem is you're doing things will get you taken away from your kids right that's the problem there otherwise yeah you're doing great yeah fuck yeah go out and sell but they certainly know how they got a nintendo i mean if selling drugs was fine you weren't going to get arrested for it or shot on the street then great right fucking god great that's your job wonderful but unfortunately it's a risky job yeah it's not exactly you know there's no 401k the insurance is terrible the
Starting point is 00:28:05 plans are not good i'm sure the people that you are serving know where you live and there's that's where your goddamn children are you know who you are too because you're a boxer you fought sugar a leonard and you're from there to get away from everybody so yeah but he's he's proud of it he was that's what i mean i'm like it's a trophy i don't know he did say though he did his hustling at night but he spent his days at the gym telling floyd and training floyd he said quote if it wasn't for me he wouldn't be where he is today he keeps he always says that shit uh now uh a guy who ran the gym originally here he says that young floyd he said he would remember him standing on an apple box at age 10 because he couldn't reach the speed bag floyd when he grows up is five seven so he's not a big dude when he's 10 he's very little and those speed
Starting point is 00:28:49 bags are obviously put up there for adults right so he'd have to stand up there on the apple box and uh they said that the box would shift a lot and he was good at keeping balance and it was a good that's brilliant almost like a good practice for him but unintentional but it turned out to be good for balance and keeping being able to shift your weight back and forth and shit like that now at age 11 is when he officially took mayweather as his name and changed it took him 11 years took him yeah who knows paperwork jimmy it's a lot of paperwork red tape and yeah i mean again yeah you can't trade cocaine for your paperwork so i don't think it's you know his dad wasn't able to do that take six to eight weeks what about this shiny crack what about this and uh where's my mom shit i don't know
Starting point is 00:29:29 fuck i can't find her so uh yeah he was now yeah floyd jr now and everything like that and he said that almost for him it was an attempt to kind of get closer to his dad because he wanted his dad to like him and shit like that this will make the beating stop maybe this will make the beating stop exactly he'll love me and he says to all he did all he did was boxing as a kid that's it that's all he did yeah morning to night every every chance he could he says quote my life was kind of like michael jackson's you know which kind of makes a lot of sense or similar in some ways i every day as a kid i went to to the boxing gym. I knew boxing before I knew anything else. So he didn't even know what he was doing, but he was just going to the gym every day as a small child.
Starting point is 00:30:12 But, I mean, it works out if that's what you're into, but it's not good for you mentally, probably. That's true, but his combinations are his I'll be there. That's the thing. He's really, really good. That's the thing we have to discuss here about Floyd Mayweather. We're going to talk a lot of shit about Floyd Mayweather, but we can't take anything away, and deservedly so. You can't take anything away from how good he is at what he does.
Starting point is 00:30:31 One of the best ever. Forget today. He's the best technical boxer of all time. There's nobody better than him. The science of boxing is to hit and not get hit. That's like an Olympic style. The science is hit as much as you can and not get hit. And he never gets hit.
Starting point is 00:30:47 And he hits when he feels like it. So it's just he's the best at that. He's not a matter of like he's not a force. He's not like Mike Tyson. You would say, you know, he was actually a decent technical boxer, but he's not, you know, he's not a Mike Tyson who would be aggressive and come in there and tear your head off. Kind of greatest of all time. You only need two, three punches that matter. That kind of greatest of all time where you're like, Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:31:11 I've never seen anybody physically dominate another human being like that. That is not even the same size as him. That's bigger than him. Right. That's fucking not even smaller. It's like he's going in two weight classes down just ripping people. He's knocking bigger guys off their feet with punches to the arm. Bigger guys with longer reach and thumping them and style and they're punching down punch yeah historically like that's just punching down is is much easier than punching up he ducks comes
Starting point is 00:31:36 in and throws an uppercut on you but uh floyd is just perfect in terms of defense in terms of footwork in turn he. He's technically perfect. If you were going to teach someone to box, if for some reason you had a kid that you wanted to have brain damage and you wanted to teach them how to box, you would show them Floyd Mayweather because that's how you box. If Muhammad Ali had his technical skills, he might not have died the way he died.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Ali had the great technical skills, though. Those technical skills weren't enough for those big guys. It's a different thing when you're fighting a guy like George Foreman. You're taking massive blows from him. That's the thing. That's a different, you have to, the style, like the rope-a-dope technique and shit, like Floyd would never
Starting point is 00:32:17 let somebody just mash on him. Whereas Ali was like, that's my only chance. Otherwise, he's going to fucking kill me. That guy's huge. I can't stand in the ring and box with him he's gonna kill me yeah so it's different in the heavyweight because you can be a guy can i weigh you by 30 pounds whereas here everybody's the same size so it's a different thing it's just the biggest dudes yeah it's just you could be 200 pounds or you could be 250 and they're fighting each other and it's like holy shit 50 pounds is a lot in a punch yeah you know it's a lot that shit was amazing especially if they both know how to fight like it's not even it's such a joke today
Starting point is 00:32:49 no it's so stupid so sad so he goes to high school he goes to ottawa hills high school in grand rapids and he drops out because he's going to be a boxer he knows that he's not gonna what's he gonna do he doesn't want to go to college whether or not he has that today doesn't change anything and in his family too that's not considered like oh my god you want to do what like if you coming up you were like mom i'm gonna be a boxer in the 10th grade i'm dropping out to be a boxer your mother would be like what are you out of your fucking mind no you're not no it'd be par for the course of my decision you're not doing that but yeah like you're an idiot go to your room that'd be the end of it whereas for him his uncles two uncles and a father are all pros
Starting point is 00:33:25 that made livings out of it so they'd look at it like well i guess that's what you what he's doing i'm the first boy in my family to graduate high school that's nice fucking depressing that is that is depression depressing there and only i think i think there was only i there may have been four of us that graduated before i mean that now there's a shitload of people just dangling off that family tree by their fucking shirts those aren't they just hanging fucking hands in the air going what how do i get down a moonshine still get me off of here oh i poop myself that's us there they are it It's majestic. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:34:06 I'm going to play this jug for a while. The tree is so dead. There's not a leaf on it. It's got so many problems. So, yeah. Floyd said, never considered another profession. He says, quote, I think my grandmother saw my potential first. When I was young, I told her, I think I should get a job.
Starting point is 00:34:25 She said, no, just keep boxing. He said, quote, I basically raised myself. My grandmother did what she could. When she got mad at me, I'd go to my mom's house. My life was up and down. So, yeah, it's not stable. Shit is not stable. And his father is in and out of jail also while he's a kid, which is not stable at all.
Starting point is 00:34:45 In Grand Rapids. Yeah, that's the thing. It's tough here. His father said, quote, I sent him to live with his grandmother. It wasn't like I left him with strangers because he was like, I didn't just leave the kid. I sent him to his grandmother's house. Jesus Christ. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:58 So he just kept boxing when his father was in jail and everything like that. Everything into boxing. He said, quote quote i knew that i was going to have to try to take care of my mom and i made the decision that school wasn't that important at the time and i was going to have to box to earn a living which is fair uh 1993 here he's 16 he wins the michigan state golden gloves he's the champion at 106 pounds wow 106 pounds yeah that's i mean the golden gloves though you've got to win is like three. It's a little tournament.
Starting point is 00:35:29 It's not a lot. You don't got to win a lot. But 106 pounds? To be the best at it at that size is pretty impressive. That's just so tiny. Yeah. You could just throw a guy who's 106. I don't care how well he can fight.
Starting point is 00:35:38 You could just pick him up and put him somewhere. My son's 97 pounds. Yeah. Get over there. It's not a lot. No matter how skilled a fighter he was, I feel like you could take him. You know what I mean? You could just kick him in the chest if you had to.
Starting point is 00:35:49 I mean, I could push him backward. Yeah. Get away from me, you little. With a glove on? Yeah. He just pushed. He's hitting you. It's like you don't have anything behind those.
Starting point is 00:35:56 I'll grab your head and twist it. Get away from me. I'll destroy you. Yeah. 106 pounds. Very tight. God, a lot of child abuse. Jimmy wants to kick his kid's ass, goddammit.
Starting point is 00:36:07 That's the problem. You heard my family tree. Taylor Swift is soaring high, her every move captured in the news cycle and devoured by her devoted fans. She's broken billboard records and made Grammys history, not to mention becoming a billionaire in the process. But along the way, Taylor has had to
Starting point is 00:36:25 wage war, first by taking on a very powerful, very famous manager, Scooter Braun, and then by going up against the biggest live events company, Ticketmaster. Hi, I'm David Brown, the host of Wondery Show Business Wars. We go deep into some of the biggest corporate rivalries of all time, and in our latest season, Taylor Swift will shake up not only the music business, but Hollywood and the NFL. Follow Business Wars wherever you get your podcasts. You can listen ad-free on the Amazon Music or Wondery app. The wait is over.
Starting point is 00:37:00 So far, you're not losing. The only thing you're losing is my patience. Quickly, I see that. Bing! The queen of the courtroom is back. I didn't do anything. You wouldn't know the truth if it came up and slapped you in the face. I see he's not intimidated by anything.
Starting point is 00:37:17 I can fix that. New cases. She wanted to fight me. Leave her. A-long. Okay, so, um. This is not a so. This is a period.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Classic Judy. Did you sleep with her? Yes, Your Honor. You married his cousin. His brother. That's not him. Yes, ma'am. I would make a beeline for the door.
Starting point is 00:37:40 The Emmy Award-winning series returns. How did I know that? I have crystal ball in my head it's an all-new season it's streaming you can say anything judy justice only on freebie he becomes the national golden gloves champion in 93 as well that's the whole country is the best 106 pound amateur fighter in the goddamn country at that point. 1994,
Starting point is 00:38:07 Michigan State Golden Gloves champion at 112 pounds. National Golden Gloves champion at 112 pounds that year as well. Also, the outstanding
Starting point is 00:38:16 boxer award out of the whole tournament of any weight class. I'm impressed. I didn't even see it. Oh, he's a bad, dude is badass, man. 1995,
Starting point is 00:38:24 he's a national champion again,, amateur, at 125 pounds. He's the United States national amateur featherweight champion in 1995 at 125 pounds. And he competes at the World Amateur Boxing Championships. He wins the Michigan Golden Gloves and the National Golden Gloves in 96 at 125 pounds. So every year he goes up in weight. And he's doing great. Beats the shit out of everybody. And then in 96, he's going out for the Olympic team here in Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:38:54 That's the Atlanta Olympics. If we remember, there's a movie out about it right now. It's the Richard Jewell thing and the bombing and all that type of shit there. It was a weird Olympics. But at 19 19 he's going to the olympics he's going to go to the olympics this olympics by the way had a mascot that was the stupidest mascot i've ever seen its name is izzy atlanta picked a mascot i'll show it to you jimmy ipod oh my god what is that it has lightning bolt eyebrows it's just rings around
Starting point is 00:39:22 its penis tail yeah it's got a penis tail look up izzy the olympic mascot a penis it's got a torch with like different colored shit and the torch turns into stars for whatever reason it looks stoned because its eyes are sort of crossed and droopy and it has stars in its actual like eyes there does it yeah stars and one eyelid is green and one eyelid is blue it's a fucking disaster who did that i don't know it looks like a stone cereal character like a stone cereal mascot it looks like they went to uh a school and were like draw us an olympic that's it's a chat i'll bet you that was a contest it's the best the best mascot in the whole fourth grade yeah somebody the best
Starting point is 00:40:03 mascot and it's racist with its lightning bolt eyebrows. That's horrible. Yeah, it's got some SS eyebrows as well. Let's do a nod to Nazi Germany. Oh, they're on his shoes, too. Are they really? He's got one on each shoe. Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:40:15 He's got some red Nazi clown shoes. Yeah. Which is perfect. Some red Doc Martens. Same thing. Yeah, that's great. Nice job. And like I said, three rings on his penis tail.
Starting point is 00:40:25 So things are going very well. You can't even tell what species it's supposed to be. It's got the eyes of a frog, but it's got a tail. It's got a tail. We're going to throw some boots on this. That'll make it super athletic. Beautiful, right? This screams sports.
Starting point is 00:40:38 I don't see any sports at it. A drunk fucking... It looks like a drunken comma. Yeah, goose stepping to the Olympics. A drunk comma goose-stepping his SS ass to the Olympics with a rainbow pride torch. For whatever reason. Welcome to Atlanta. Welcome to Atlanta, everybody.
Starting point is 00:40:57 They should have just drawn a picture of Jermaine Dupri. Much more Atlanta. 96 people wouldn't have understood. Just Dominique Wilkins. Stacey Augman is born. There you go. there's a portrait of dominique wilkins there hank aaron there you go he's mr atlanta hank aaron let's have hank aaron there like his thumbs up smiling that's beautiful everybody will get it hey it's hank everyone loves hank aaron who doesn't love hank aaron even anybody that goes who is that it It's Hank Aaron. Yeah. This, you go, who is that? Fuck, we don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:26 I don't know. Nobody has any fucking idea. It's a drunk comma, it looks like. Nobody explained it to us. They just put it on shit. Jesus. So the featherweight Olympic qualification here, he actually lost a match in there to Augie Sanchez, who will be a famous fighter later on.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Then he ends up beating Augie Sanchez later on in a box-off here, and he ends up going to the Olympics as a featherweight. There, in the first fight, he beats Bakhtiar Teligovnov. Do you want me to guess? It's Russia, right? Kazakhstan. Okay, close. So this is literally Borat.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Yeah. I fight Floyd Mayweather now. Where is Pussy Magma? Floyd, will you beat my wife? Sorry. That's what Borat was. Should we throw a Jew down the well together? She's number three prostitute.
Starting point is 00:42:12 So, I love Borat. What a brilliant character. Unbelievable. Sasha Baron Cohen all around is a genius. He's great. I love him. Fucking amazing. So, he's winning 10-1 in this fight before it stopped there.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Then he fights Art arthur give a gorgon uh from armenia beats him he outpoints him 16 to 3 yeah there uh then he beats a cuban here uh lorenzo aragon of cuba here uh 12 11 that's a close one he's the first u.s boxer to beat a cuban in 20 years no kidding cubans are fucking tough apparently they can fight i guess i mean they overthrew a government yeah they can it's pretty fight it's fighting i suppose fight their leader oh yeah shit so uh the last time that was 1976 was the last time uh it was when that was when sugar ray leonard was a gold medalist and shit back then so yeah he ends up uh finally here in the in the next bout he fights uh seraphim toderov of bulgaria yeah okay we all know him obviously he's a very famous it's big i mean i know most of your kids are wearing a seraphim seraphim toderov shirt right now
Starting point is 00:43:21 they all have the posters yeah we get it yeah He had the backpack and the lunchbox. We know about it. He ends up losing a decision here, Mayweather does. Apparently, it's a very controversial decision. Really? Reminds everybody
Starting point is 00:43:32 of Roy Jones losing a decision that he shouldn't have lost in 88. And where the referee also mistakenly raises Mayweather's hand because he thought he won. Right.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Because it's obvious that he won. And they announce for the other guy. So as they're announcing, he's raising mayweather's hand and they're announcing the other guy what it was pretty obvious that it was a shit decision it was really bad so they filed a protest the u.s claiming the judges were intimidated by bulgaria's head of boxing really emil jetchka jet jet chev yeah uh into favoring the Todorov in a 10-9 decision.
Starting point is 00:44:07 Yeah, three of the Bulgarians were in gold medal bouts apparently here. And so, yeah, it was a bit of a mess. We'll put it that way. And the landed punches weren't counted, I guess, is what they said. And Torodov was awarded points without landing punches because it's a point system in the Olympics. You have to miss shit to do that. So Mayweather afterwards, he doesn't mind.
Starting point is 00:44:32 He's cool about it. He says, quote, Everybody knows Floyd Mayweather is a gold medal winner at 57 kilograms. In America, it's known as 125 pounds. You and I know I wasn't getting hit. They say he's the world champion. Now you all know who the real world champion is. As long as he's
Starting point is 00:44:48 explained it to us. It's all good. And I'm Floyd Mayweather. I really won. I'm Floyd Mayweather. I approve this message. Did I mention that I'm Floyd Mayweather? Because that's a thing. Now Floyd turns pro right after that 96. Gotta make money, obviously. This is his job now. Roger, his uncle, ends
Starting point is 00:45:04 up kind of stopping boxing here kind of petering out his career to focus on floyd's career his career is over anyway roger but he was a journeyman at that point but he dives in to train uh floyd floyd's father not involved at all in this shit and they they'll be on and off feuding for years really oh absolutely is he in jail at this point or is he out and knows? It's on and off. I think right now he's in jail. Okay. October 11, 1996, a Texas Station Casino in Vegas.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Floyd wouldn't set that place on fire right now. He wouldn't piss a fucking fire out at that joint, but there he was boxing there. Hilarious. He fights Robert Abadaka, who's also his debut, And this guy ends up with a 1-5 career record. Really? Diverging paths, career paths. Second round TKO, 1-0. We'll breeze through fights.
Starting point is 00:45:52 You can at least say he fought Floyd at one point in his life. That was my first fight was Floyd Mayweather. Look at that. Way to break in. How'd you do after that? Did you hear what I said? I had a win. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:03 I did have one win. I fought Floyd. That's what happened you know uh november 30th 1996 at the tingly coliseum in albuquerque that sounds wonderful he fights reggie the assassin sanders he's one and one coming in he turned you can't have a nickname like the assassin if your career record is 12 47 and four no you're not the assassin only person you're killing is yourself you should, you should be the assassinated. Reggie the assassinated Sanders.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Fighting at the Tingly Resort. That's named after the feeling you get in your loins after you sleep with a hooker there. Yeah, exactly. And get punched in the face a whole bunch for losing your fight. This is a unanimous decision. The assassin takes him to four-round distance. 2-0 for Floyd. January 18th.
Starting point is 00:46:45 He fights like every month. Thomas and Max Center in Vegas. He fights Jerry Cooper, who's a 16-16-1 fighter. He's a white guy with a mullet. So how do you think Floyd's going to do against a white guy with a mullet named Jerry? Hi, Jerry. I'm going to pummel you now. This is literally my family.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Yeah, it's, well, first-round TKO. They stopped it. They were like, Jesus Christ. You see the mullet on this guy? Take it easy. He clearly didn't graduate high school. For fuck's sake. They yelled at him like an uncle that's dunking on his nephew.
Starting point is 00:47:12 They're like, he's learning the game, for Christ's sake. You're going to discourage him. Be nice to the kid. Take it easy, Floyd. So 3-0 for him. February 1st, 1997. Swiss Hall Park in Chula Vista, California, versus Edgar Ayala, whose this is his pro debut.
Starting point is 00:47:29 He's got an 0-4 career in the end, so it doesn't work out. 4-0 for Floyd here after a TKO. March 12, 1997, Stadium Arena, Grand Rapids, versus Keno Rodriguez. Back home. Keno, yeah, back in Grand Rapids here. Keno's a 10- and 2 career fighter and uh first round tko 5 and 0 the back of the thomas and mac center in april of 97 versus bobby gephardt okay
Starting point is 00:47:52 uh guess what yeah white guy mullet not good 19 and 8 coming in 19 and 9 career because this is his last fight tko round one he says i think i've had enough i got rocked by floyd what what round i won round one oh my word stopped in round one waved it off six that guy's clearly the one i should not i should not do this ever again no i shouldn't even be in a ring with that guy and he's the best so what am i he's this is only a sixth fight so i should stop uh may 9th 1997 at the orleans hotel in ve, another place he would never go, versus Tony Duran, who's a 13, 26, and 2 fighter. Now, during his fight, they're remarking on ESPN what a great fighter he is.
Starting point is 00:48:36 One of the commentators says, quote, Emmanuel Stewart was quoted as saying, there have been very few who have been more talented than this kid. He will probably win two or three world championships. I think he will go on to the best ever so uh who the fuck was that emmanuel stewart said that genius he knows he knows his boxing emmanuel stewart so and he saw already that's gonna be the best best person ever he knew yeah he knew it right away he's uh unbelievable it's not too shabby here another and then the uh the commentator here said uh i thought that floyd mayweather was the outstanding pro prospect in the entire olympic games so they're just gushing over him as he gets a first round knockout over uh over tony duran bringing him to seven and oh
Starting point is 00:49:14 fights at the alamo dome in june of 97 versus larry o shields i'll give you a hint what larry o shields looks like one guess what larry o shields looks like sounds like he's on loan from the from like a a northeastern fire department larry you're gonna you need off tomorrow i'll get you covered you you work a double on thursday though right all right work a double because we can't we got to cover these shifts pal well i have it around here shit's burning up all the time because you're you're gone fighting you're gone out there getting your ass kicked all over the country. Black guys are beating the shit out of you all the time. What are you doing? For what?
Starting point is 00:49:50 For what, Larry? It ain't gonna last. So, no. Larry O'Shield is a 17-12-3 fighter. This is a unanimous decision win for Floyd. 8-0. July 12, 97, the Grand Casino in Biloxi. That does not sound grand. He fights Jesus Chavez, who's 1-13-1 coming in. Doesn't end welli. That does not sound grand. He fights Jesus Chavez,
Starting point is 00:50:05 who's 1-13-1 coming in. Doesn't end well here. That's a TKO, 9-0 for Floyd. September 6, 1997, at the County Coliseum in El Paso. Yikes. The county. Oof.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Whoa. Anything that's got county in the name is not going to host Floyd today. This is where we have the rodeos during the fair. That's what that is. This is where we have the rodeos during the fair. That's what that is. This is where we have. During bad weather, we let black guys beat the shit out of mullet-clad whiteys. We put a tarp down, see.
Starting point is 00:50:35 And actually, we're going to have one of the Mexicans come on in here. He's going to beat up a Mexican. So we're going to see how that works. Louis Leja, 18 and 3 coming in. But we think the black guy is going to beat the hell out of him, probably. We're going to put a tar works. Louis Leja, 18-3 coming in, but we think the black guy's going to beat the hell out of him, probably. We're going to put a tarp down, stick a ring on top of that, and let y'all have at it.
Starting point is 00:50:51 Put a tarp down on the horse shit? Lay down a tarp and have at it, fellas. There you go. So, yeah, Louis Leja, he fights. Knocks him out in the second round. Watch your ankles, it's soft. Watch your ankles, it's soft. Flies just like an apple box, baby. Second round TKO of Louis. Louis had no idea it was hitting him Watch your ankles, it's soft. Flight's just like an Apple box, baby. Second round TKO of Louie. Louie had no idea it was hitting him.
Starting point is 00:51:08 10-0 for Floyd here. October 14th, 97 in Boise, Idaho. He's getting around. He fights Felipe Flash Garcia. No. No. He's 14-19 coming in. That's not a flash.
Starting point is 00:51:20 His career is over in a flash. So is this fight. Knocks Felipe out. 11-0 for Floyd. November 20, 1997. He's fighting at, like, I think this is when he's doing 130. So he's, you know. Lots of knockouts.
Starting point is 00:51:32 That's impressive. When he's fighting at low weight classes like that, he has knockout power. Later on, everyone's like, ah, he just points everybody. It's like he's fighting 25 pounds over where he started. He's moved up, like, seven weight classes. So it's to be expected his power is going to droop when he's moved up like seven weight classes so it's to be expected his power is going to droop when he's got guys who are naturally at 154 147 and and and the little i give more credit to somebody that can behind between the ears figure out how to how to
Starting point is 00:51:59 point that's so fucking impressive uh yeah november 97 o Olympic Auditorium in LA versus Angelo Nunez. 14-11-3 coming in. This is his last fight. TKO win for old Floyd. 12-0. January 9, 1998, back in Biloxi fighting Hector Arroyo. Knocks him out. 13-0.
Starting point is 00:52:18 This is when Floyd Sr. gets out of prison at this time here. Now, gets out of jail. No, no, no. He's been in for years. Yeah, he's been in for years oh yeah he's been in for for drugs hardened criminal oh yeah oh no we're floyd we'll have an episode oh my god we'll hear more about baboon and the whole thing he's always many times over so uh roger his uncle like i said was training him and then floyd seniors released from prison and floyd steps in senior as the trainer here for
Starting point is 00:52:45 a little while yeah so it's going to be volatile as you might imagine but it's all roses at first boy i mean it is nothing but fluff pieces around mayweather's so happy his dad's here he says quote it really feels good uh it really feels good my dad was my first trainer he taught me everything and having him back has given me a lot more confidence. I'm doing a lot of things I used to do with my dad when I was younger. I've got a lot more defense, and I'm going to use my jab a lot more. So, yeah, he's talking about that. He then says, I'm the best fighter in the world.
Starting point is 00:53:16 That's what I know. I've got the total package, the defense and the movement. I can box inside. I can box outside. I will look impressive when I win. That's what he says. Can you imagine having that much confidence about fucking anything that's i am so impressed yeah he knew too i mean granted it was pretty fucking obvious but yeah i mean still he knows yeah he said it's very important being impressive because that's what sells people don't pay to see a boring
Starting point is 00:53:42 fight they want to get their money's worth, so I'm going to impress them. So he knows right away this is also showbiz. You have to win, but you could be 30-0 if you're boring as shit. Nobody cares who wants to watch you. That's the other point, too. When I say that he pointed a lot, he's doing it strategically and fighting a good way. But when the fight's over, looking at the other man's face, it's obvious that Floydyd won the points are showing in blood drops he looks he looks like he could he's like where are we what are we eating later he looks like
Starting point is 00:54:11 he's literally gonna go take a shower and go out to dinner afterwards and the other guy's a fucking mess yeah the other guy's going to the hospital like most people do after boxing matches to go get yourself checked out floyd's like they barely touched me right fuck are you kidding me i think i got a welt on my shoulder but but I think I'll be okay. He's been punched seven times in 50 fights. It's ridiculous here. So February 28th, 98, he's in Bally's in Atlantic City fighting Sizzlin' Sam Gerrard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Who's a 17-7 career. Knocks out Sizzlin' Sam in 14-0. Then he's at the Foxwoods here, 23rd 98 fighting miguel mellow he's uh this is his last fight eight and one coming in and decides to hang him up after this the third third round tko floyd will will uh discourage you from boxing further i feel like some of these guys he's so much better than them and it'd be like literally it would be like jesus christ i didn't what am i doing they finish the fight and they're like they always tell you that one day you're gonna run into
Starting point is 00:55:08 the guy that's better than you i didn't think he was gonna be that much better than i i'm never gonna get to there so why bother that's the champ not even the champ yet but he will be yeah i'm never gonna beat him so fuck it it's like carlin going out on stage and then you have to follow that why am i doing that for what so april 18th 98 olympic auditorium he fights gustavo fabian coelho who's 23 and 21 career unanimous decision for floyd 16 and 0 june 14th 98 trot tumped the trump taj mahal okay uh and ac the defunct t Mahal, it should be called, because it's defunct. It's out of fucking business. What year is this?
Starting point is 00:55:49 This is 98. In 98, he's... I don't think I had heard of him yet. Are you kidding me? I'm pretty sure I had. Floyd Mayweather? Yeah. Oh, I thought you meant Trump.
Starting point is 00:55:57 No, no, no. Jesus Christ. No, I'm pretty sure I saw him much longer ago. Yeah, no. But I don't think I... No, he was on ESPN. Unless you were a boxing fan, like into boxing.
Starting point is 00:56:08 You had to be up its ass. Then you'd know. But otherwise, nobody knew him. Cajal is a fighter. And he's fighting at the Taj Mahal. This is where you fight. These are the big fights. This is when he starts being on undercards
Starting point is 00:56:18 of bigger fighters here. He fights Tony Pepp right here, who's a 42 and 10 career fighter. So he's no pushover. And it's a unanimous decision win. So it takes him the distance, 17-0. October 3rd, 1998, Las Vegas, Hilton. This is a bigger fight. This is for the WBC super featherweight title.
Starting point is 00:56:36 It's his first title match. He fights Gennaro Hernandez. Chicanito is his name, his nickname. I guess it goes to chicken? Chicken, the chicken man. I assume. I don't know. I don't speak Spanish, but the little chicken, nickname. I guess it goes to chicken. Chicken, the chicken man. I assume. I don't know. I don't speak Spanish, but the little chicken, maybe. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:50 Floyd is 21 at this point, 22, and he's staying in much, he's at the Hilton in Vegas. Oh, he's doing great. And at that point, it's a beautiful place. Oh, he's doing great. I couldn't stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Vegas. No, no, no. He's crushing it already. Well, if maybe four or five other people came with you, we'll all share the room.
Starting point is 00:57:05 Pull the sofa? Yeah, we'll pull it together. Somebody, who's sleeping in the tub? I always get the tub. You're a fucking chipper. I'm always small. Jimmy fits. Jimmy fits.
Starting point is 00:57:15 I don't care if he chipped in 20. He fits. He's going in the tub. Jimmy, get in the tub. Jesus Christ. Fred puked in there. You're fine Rinse it out
Starting point is 00:57:26 Rinse it out Then it's wet Who cares It's hot outside We're only going to be in here for a little bit So Chickenito here is 38-1-1 coming in And this is his last fight He ends a 38-1 fighter's career
Starting point is 00:57:39 Here The fight stopped after the 8th round And he goes to 18-0 Floyd does The guy fought 48 fights. 39. Oh, 30? Got it.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Okay, got it. Actually, 38-1-1 he was coming in. December 19th, 1998. These are every month. These just stack every month. There's a plan. Clearly, we're going to fight monthly because he never gets hit. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:58:01 It doesn't matter at all. December 19th, 1998 at the Mikosuke Indian Gaming Resort in Miami. What? Miami. I would have guessed Oklahoma. Yeah, that's what I thought at first. I was writing like, you know, Pawnee, Oklahoma. No, that's not right.
Starting point is 00:58:18 Miami, Florida? Miami, Florida. He fights Angel Manfredi. Remember Angel Manfredi? El Diablo. That's a great nickname for a boxer. He's 25-2 coming in. He'll end up being 43-8-1 and he's a tough son of a bitch
Starting point is 00:58:30 Manfredi was. This is a second round TKO for Floyd though. He handles him with ease. He takes chances Manfredi and Floyd's the type of guy who stands there and just waits for you to take chances. It'll just tee off on you. Especially when he's fighting guys his weight, he would be a little more anxious to open up on you a little bit, whereas now he's happy to get his three shots and dance off on you.
Starting point is 00:58:50 That's fine. You're not hitting him. So 1998, he is Ring Magazine's Fighter of the Year. Yeah. So not too shabby for old Floyd. February 17th, 1999, in Grand Rapids. He fights Carlos. What is this? El Toro de Santa Fe. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:09 The bull from Santa Fe. The bull of New Mexico. Oh, boy. But, yeah, he's not from New Mexico, by the way. I looked it up. He must live there at the time. Maybe he was boxing out of there. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Is there a Santa Fe, Mexico? Old Mexico? Not that I know of. Old Santa Fe. Very old Santa Fe. old Santa Fe excessively old uh 42 and he's a 44 and 2 fighter though so he's a good fighter yeah he's gonna end up being 53 and 11 in his career Floyd wins by decision 20 and 0 uh May 8th 1999 uh uh this is actually his uncle Roger's last pro boxing match yeah not as a trainer as a fighter so this is uh so now Roger's done pro boxing match. Not as a trainer, as a fighter.
Starting point is 00:59:47 So now Roger's done. Before that, he's been kind of boxing and training Floyd at the same time. May 22, 1999, Mandalay Bay. Now we're getting into more big events. Once now, he's got a belt. Once you hit 20 wins, that's when you can sell a guy as something. He fights Justin the Destroyer Juco. It's a 33-2 fighter coming in.
Starting point is 01:00:11 This is a ninth round knockout, 21-0 there. September 11, 1999, at Mandalay Bay again, he fights Carlos El Topo Genera, 34-2. And this fight stopped after seven. So now he's 22 and oh uh now uh his uncle at this point jeff mayweather says quote he does have the destiny to become great one day he's going to be great 20 years from now people will we'll be talking about him he's going to be a legend and he's actually fucking right because that was in 2000 20 years from now two assholes are going to sit here and make fun of him for like three hours.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Really pick his life apart. Make fun of his family. But also. His stupid criminal activities. How he's a fucking dickhead to women. You know, they're really going to document it. He's a legend. He's a legend.
Starting point is 01:00:59 He was right about everything. It's a prescient son of a bitch, that Jeff. Say that right now. Is that the guy that shot his dad, Jeff? Was it Jeff or was that Baboon? No right now is that the guy that shot his dad jeff was it no baboon no baboon jeff is jeff is roger's brother got it yeah the boxers are all uh are all his i'm sorry not roger and floyd's brother roger floyd and jeff are brothers okay yeah and then the baboons on the other side got it tony sinclair there on the other side he's the one that shot dad yeah now he's he's already got a kid at some point here. In 2000, he has another daughter here named Ayana, who was born in 2000. So he's starting to have kids, and they'll come into play because there's something to
Starting point is 01:01:33 fight over. Right. So that's how that works. They're swimming around. Yeah. You know how that goes. Yeah, I do. Well, especially if you're this guy.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Right. He's a fucking lunatic. So March 18, 2000, at the MGM in Vegas, he fights uh gregorio vargas who's 46 and one coming in not fernando vargas gregorio vargas he's good too he's good too he is yeah but fernando was fun to watch i think i've seen them both fight yeah probably from back then unanimous decision win for floyd again uh it's 23 and 0 it's after this fight that floyd fires his dad oh so this is where it starts before this everything's whenever floyd's not in prison they're buddies yeah and everything's fine and i love my dad and my dad's my best trainer and all this type of shit this is the
Starting point is 01:02:16 first time where he's actually said i don't want to be around floyd and around dad and this will start a feud that goes on for a fucking while now oh they're feuding over do we know flight's offering to trade his opponents it's fucking crazy yeah it's it's it's nuts wow it's why it's over him getting fired and flight senior's pissed he got fired he had enough of dad's shit yeah i didn't like the way he was training so this is now going to create a rift forever apparently so well yeah they'll get they'll make up and then go back and forth that's it's a really rocky relationship with these two which is back and forth and they're crazy here so uncle roger takes over his full-time trainers now he's getting that you know he's looking for work too here so october 21st 2000 at kobo hall in detroit he fights emmanuel augustus
Starting point is 01:03:01 this is a this is a going home showing off fight. This is one of those, I'm going to fight a tomato can back in my hometown so I can just have all my friends there and beat the shit out of somebody. Guys do this all the time. We'll have a warm-up fight for a bigger fight next because he's got a huge fight coming up next. It's a warm-up fight and you do it at home so you're comfortable and you don't have to go do anything. So he fights Emanuel Augustus, 22, 16, and 4 coming in.
Starting point is 01:03:24 So he's not a contender here. He knows what this is. Yeah, he knows. He's been around long enough. Yeah, he's cannon fodder. He's got nothing to lose, too. That's the other thing. A guy like that's got nothing.
Starting point is 01:03:33 He's a Buster Douglas right now. This is one that you worry about because this guy, he knows there's nothing to lose. It's Buster Douglas. This could be hilarious if I put you on your own. It's the fight of his life, but it's not the fight. You don't give a shit. It's Tyson and Douglas. So TKO in round in round nine though it doesn't work out like the same way because floyd's really good yeah so and focus to 24 and 0 for floyd now january 20th 2001 is a
Starting point is 01:03:55 fight we've discussed before uh at the mgm in vegas he fights diego corrales now chico here as we know from the direct diego corral episode, that's a nutty episode. Listen to that shit. Diego is 33 and 0 coming in. So this is both undefeated. It's 24 and over 33 and 0. I saw this fight. I remember watching it and it was it was a good fight because it was two different styles. Diego's like six feet tall and Floyd's like five, seven. So just the styles are way different. Floyd trying to get in on him while still not getting hit it was very interesting but floyd just outclassed him the whole time i mean he he whooped him pretty good uh tko win uh 25 and 0 for floyd and that's his
Starting point is 01:04:36 coming out party once he beats corrales because he's beaten people but he hadn't beaten somebody who was really like a you know an up-and-comer he beat kind of guys that were on the downside that were good fighters but kind of going downhill diego was like that's your big challenge one of you two guys is going to be the man right so it's kind of one of those and this isn't a title fight either this is a contender for this well it's it's it's floyd's the champ here okay so he's fighting die fighting Diego for the title. Got it. And Diego. Took it from him. Well, he kept it. Floyd won it earlier. Oh, got it.
Starting point is 01:05:07 Yeah, yeah. He won it earlier. Okay. Understood. Chico was the contender. He's the challenger. Yeah. I'm sure Chico probably had a fucking belt or two.
Starting point is 01:05:14 There's like 19 belts. Everybody comes in with belts. I have a picture of Mayweather that I'll post with the episode that he has like, I'm not even kidding, 13, 14 belts on. This is holy. Around his neck, his body, on his arms. He has them all the way down to his forearms. It's ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:05:29 It's silly. He's just the best in all of this. This is enough. Give him a card where he can show it. Here, I'm a champ. Is there one he can write all of those on? Give him a medal like he's in the army and pin it on him. There you go.
Starting point is 01:05:41 There you go, chief. Got a whole lapel. All right. Hang it around the chest the the waistband of his trunks is a foot wide just hang them all there you go perfect dangle them all off so february 2001 uh here's some this is when his problems pretty pretty much start legally here there's a woman named melissa brim who is the mother of his daughter the newest daughter the newest daughter here and they apparently are fighting over child support because they're not together and according to melissa brim here uh mayweather apparently uh
Starting point is 01:06:17 pushed her into a car and then opened the door and struck her in the face with a car door like gangster style. Like, you know, you're in Goodfellas or something. And then pushed her into the car again and then repeatedly punched her after that. Oh, boy. So, yeah, that's that's the. He went from like strategic hitting her to that. You can explain away.
Starting point is 01:06:38 Yeah. To straight up punches. To start whooping her ass. Yeah. That's that's the allegations here at that moment in time. February 2001. That's like the first kind of run in here. That's not good.
Starting point is 01:06:48 No. At all. I don't give a shit. No excuse for that whatsoever. How do you get there? Any of that behavior. No, that's what I mean. Well, that's just the tip of the iceberg, too.
Starting point is 01:06:57 Now, he's still fighting fine, though. May 26, 2001 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. He fights El Famoso Carlos Hernandez. The famous. El Famoso. I love that. That's my favorite nickname ever. El Famoso.
Starting point is 01:07:11 It's great that he's doing that, too, because there are how many Carlos Hernandez's? I'm the famous Carlos Hernandez. No, no, no. Not the Carlos Hernandez you went to school with. Not the guy who your father knew. Is that guy the famous one? I'm the famous one.
Starting point is 01:07:23 The famous. He's like the Carlos Hernandez. El F the famous one the i'm the famous the famous that's like he's like the carlos hernandez el famoso is the spanish way of saying the right it's perfect i love it there's a guy named john smith that should go yeah i am the famous john it'd be stupid for me to do it there's no other you know there's nobody else el famoso james petrogallo they'd be like what no and there's only one of you stupid. So you and your dad, you know, what are you doing? Right.
Starting point is 01:07:49 So anyway, he's 26 and 0 after beating up El Famoso in a unanimous decision. June of 2001. He is. Floyd is with Melissa Brim and his daughter, Ariana, who is Ariana, who's like a year old at this point. And they're shopping together in a mall in Las Vegas. That's nice. So we've made up. Yeah, we've made up.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Well, it's funny, too, because I said he's with Melissa. And you go, oh, no, not again. And I said, they're at a mall shopping in Vegas. You're like, okay. You're like, she's safer right now. I saw you like, okay, he's not going to hit her. She's in public. This is good.
Starting point is 01:08:22 Okay. So they get into an argument, though, obviously, because they're together. So Melissa and Mayweather get in an argument. He asks one of his friends, because they're not alone, of course. He's got like an entourage behind him. All kinds of people. He asks one of his friends to take Ayanna away somewhere to get her something to drink or something like that.
Starting point is 01:08:43 And when the when the the friend walks away with the daughter floyd punches melissa brim in the neck what and then uh took off before police could arrive he just one shot he just punched her in the neck he went what the fuck take my daughter away i'm gonna punch her in the neck who the fuck thinks that i can't do this in front of her can't do it in front i mean i am at the mall that's another reason why forget all these other people and their children it's front. I mean, I am at the mall. That's another reason why. Forget all these other people and their children. It's also crazy
Starting point is 01:09:07 to fucking punch your girlfriend in the neck for any reason. So there's a lot of factors here that make this a really wild, bizarre decision. Just a strange act. What are you doing, dude? Why are you doing this?
Starting point is 01:09:18 He made a scenario that's strange, even fucking stranger. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Then he ran away before police could arrive, which is another tactic he has. When he knows he's done something wrong, he just takes off. Disappear. So, yeah, the cops won't arrest me now.
Starting point is 01:09:31 Yeah, he'll get me later, but that's fine. So, October 2001, he ends up pleading guilty to one count of battery against Melissa Brim's father. I could not find the details on exactly what the hell he did to Melissa's father, but he apparently beat up Melissa Brim's father now i could not find the details on exactly what the hell he did he did to melissa's father but he apparently beat up melissa brim's father or at least battered him
Starting point is 01:09:51 yeah i will say i pleaded guilty to it anyway and it was uh uh one count of battery against him and two counts of domestic battery against brim here and uh so that sounds like he beat her and then dad tried to stop it and he took a couple for good measure well those are those are different different cases different events the next case will be in march 2002 and we'll talk about that uh in 2002 he's being he's up for uh they're going to drop the charges of start stalking violating a protective order and attempted obstruction of a police officer. And they're just going to stick with domestic battery there, which isn't any better.
Starting point is 01:10:29 But it's all good. November 10, 2001. It's fine. Get back to boxing. Hit people you're supposed to hit for once. Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. He fights Jesus El Matador Chavez. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:42 The killer. The killer Chavez. This is stopped after nine. He's 35 and one coming in. So he earned his nickname here. But Floyd beats his ass in nine rounds, 27 and 0. This is when Floyd moves up in weight. And with a move in weight, you want to step up your domestic violence as well.
Starting point is 01:10:59 That's the thing. You're going to step up your weight. You're going to go into a different area. Yeah, train at home, too. That's the thing. You got to train. You got weight. You're going to go into a different area. You're going to train at home, too. That's the thing. You've got to train. You've got to get your protein. You know how it goes here.
Starting point is 01:11:09 So, yeah, he's Jesus Christ. She said at this point, this was another car incident where she said he hit her with the car again. She said he, quote, swung a car door open, hitting her jaw, pushed her into the car and punched her several times in the face and body. He's beating people with cars. Yeah, this is that. Well, this is the court for that one. He gets a six month suspended sentence for that. I don't know why you're suspending it.
Starting point is 01:11:35 Seems like that is very kind of seems like it's fine to just let him do six months for a woman's ass like that. That's too much of an ass whooping. That's I mean, any ass that that's too much of an ass weapon that's i mean any ass weapons too much that's like dude that's in state steps and stages you wanted a weapon and you improvise and used a vehicle to hit someone once is crazy but to be like pow hurt them i hit him again and then be like i'm gonna hit a punch them now is fucking insane like that's that's escalating you're out of control at that point for christ's steps that don't even make any sense yeah. Like that's that's escalating. You're out of control at that point for Christ's steps that are don't even make any sense. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 01:12:07 Yeah, that's what I mean. Like he also gets 48 hours of community service and two days of house arrest. So hang out in your mansion for a couple days. Three other. That's the stalking and the obstruction and violation. We're all dropped now at a press conference after this. There is a he's got a fight coming up against jose luis castillo uh and mayweather they ask him about the about this whole thing and he says quote
Starting point is 01:12:33 everybody knows that flight everybody knows that flight mayweather everybody that knows flight mayweather knows i'm a good guy i've never been to jail well so he got a suspended sentence yeah so he said i'm a good guy i've never been to jail it's not those don't those don't even cross those are completely you're lucky you've never been to jail a judge could have very easily not suspended that six months and then what you're not a good guy now right so a judge's whim of a decision makes you a good guy or not how about it's why you're in that court to begin with yeah which is because you whacked a lady in the fucking head with a car door and punched her right and you've got two other cases looming oh yeah you punched your father it's all things a mess so uh april 20th 2002 is this fight against jose luis castillo he is telling anyone that will listen that he's super pissed about what they're
Starting point is 01:13:20 paying him he's fucking livid is no no floyd is floyd's making 2.4 million dollars for this fight and he's mad he's super pissed he's mad at bob arum he's fucking suit which bob arum's a scumbag so i mean whatever but he's he's mad at him though and uh and what he does is he refuses to do any press or promote the fight at all he won't show up for the conferences he's like fuck you you're not gonna pay me me i'm not going to make your fight uh any bigger than it is take the money you're saving on uh promotional material that's it yeah spend it on that exactly which is the only way he can control that at that point i i get it that's business yeah and he's he's also i mean it's breaking contractually supposed to do that but if they want to call him on that then they're
Starting point is 01:14:02 gonna have to call off the fight so yeah the other point you say you're breaking my contract then break it if you signed a contract for that money it's also on you that's the other thing that's what i don't understand why he's mad he even goes as much as to basically say that this fights don't even bother with it he says quote this is a tune-up fight for me it's just another it's just another stepping stone for me so he's basically this doesn't even don't even bother with this fight yeah the fuck you basically is to bob arum is what he's doing the promoter so this is at mgm jose luis castillo who's 45 four and one coming in this guy's not a pushover he's on the downside of his career but guys who are 45 four and one are crafty and they know how to win and they just know how to win uh that goes all it goes to distance to unanimous decision for floyd
Starting point is 01:14:44 really uh 28 and oh a guy like that knows how to go the It goes the distance, too. Unanimous decision for Floyd. Really? 28-0. A guy like that knows how to go the distance. He knows how not to get knocked out. He's a veteran. He's won 45 fights. That's what I mean. He's a veteran.
Starting point is 01:14:57 And he's lost four, which the losses also teach you things of what not to do when this happens. The guy knows what to do. So he's also in court here. This is Jesus Christ. This is when he's there's an incident. And from one of his one of his nightclub outings where he gets in a scuffle flight, he receives a one year suspended sentence here and is also ordered to undergo impulse control counseling. It's about time. I don't know how that's going to help. But, yeah, it's misdemeanor battery who
Starting point is 01:15:26 did he beat up just a random patron who knows yeah fuck can you imagine being a dipshit drunk who pisses off floyd in a bar you little shit oh my god punches you 45 times oh you're a Larry pussy you little fucking shit i'll kick your ass and Huh? Doug? What day is it? I think I got stung by a bunch of bees. My head's got lumps on it. You all drunk? Why are there bees in here? Is there bees?
Starting point is 01:15:55 I hear buzzing, too. I hear buzzing. My face stings. Is it stinging? I don't know. And where'd that pussy go? Where's the pussy? It it's may now welcome back jesus christ so uh yeah he ends up fighting jose luis castillo again in december at mandalay bay in 2002 and beats him again with a unanimous decision 29 and 0 uh now 2003 is uh we're having more problems here
Starting point is 01:16:27 with his father now there's an r apparently there was an argument uh between them and or in a restaurant between junior and senior apparently floyd evicted his father from the condo that he had given him and took back his car oh jesus okay this is another big and this is a very common trait to abusers but uh he especially of this type he likes to get everybody who's around him gets lots of shit you'll get a bentley you'll get all this shit but you have to you kiss his fucking ass if he thinks for one second that you've wronged him he will take everything away from you and fucking treat you like you're the worst person alive throw you back in the street throw you in the streets and try to ruin you that's what he does so you
Starting point is 01:17:15 with women he does this with his friends he does this with his own father he does this so this is his way of controlling people is with money. Kicking them out the house. I'll physically control you. I'll financially control you. That's what he tries to do. So, yeah, they end up not speaking after this for seven years. Wow. After this whole thing, except to talk shit about each other and things like that. How many fuck this motherfuckers?
Starting point is 01:17:40 Well, boy, he's in the New York Times. Floyd Jr. He says, quote, My father is jealous of me. This is he's in the new york times floyd jr he says quote my father is jealous of me this is in 2003 in the new york fucking times his career never took off he knows as a fighter he was never as good as me in fact he was never better than me at nothing oh so yeah he's talking some shit about his dad here i don't know how many eyeballs did you sell this week that's what i mean i mean floyd he did fight sugar ray lenny lost but he still fought him so i don't know. How many 8-balls did you sell this week, Floyd? That's what I mean. I mean, Floyd, he did fight Sugar Ray Leonard. He lost, but he still fought him.
Starting point is 01:18:07 He did all right. Went 10 rounds with him. This is just a hood relationship. You know what I mean? It's not good. It's just the way it goes. It's the way Floyd is with people. He can write people on and off in a drop of a hat.
Starting point is 01:18:21 It's just the way he is with people. He says, right now, I'm close to my mother, and I can see the jealousy in my father people. He says, right now I'm close to my mother and I can see the jealousy in my father. Right now? Right now I'm close to my mother. Today? She could piss me off tomorrow. Don't get me wrong. This bitch fucks up.
Starting point is 01:18:32 I will throw her out in the street. She did raise me and I fucks to take care of her, but I will take it away in a heartbeat. That bitch will be in a homeless shelter by fucking morning. Tell you what. Or more accurately, battered woman shelter. You hear that, mom?
Starting point is 01:18:47 Back of my hand. Yeah. He says he's jealous that I have a relationship with her. I certainly don't need another woman in my life. My mother is my sweetheart, and I don't need to get married to fight my whole life just for some woman to get all my money. That's his attitude. He is not for nothing, never happened. He is the big pimp in lyrics.
Starting point is 01:19:12 Unreal. In a human form right here. That's all he is. Wow. Now, April 19th, 2003, Selandarinas in Fresno, he fights Victoriano El Santico Sosa. that's a lot of words a lot of eyes there's just a lot of eyes in that whole house all together thousands of boy 35 two and two he
Starting point is 01:19:33 is this is a unanimous decision win for floyd 30 and 0 for floyd so it's impressive august 1st 2003 not so impressive no uh no he's there's a nightclub action of course uh this is at the uh it's a club called rah ra at the luxor yeah in vega in vegas there exactly where it is and he lives in vegas so he's always in vegas so wait it's a sushi bar fucking up in vega well apparently there's a club there at the time 2003 i don't know they change shit all the time these casinos so all the luxor probably hasn't changed in a while. No. Since 2003, they probably hung on to that shit for a while. Yeah, it's still cool, right?
Starting point is 01:20:09 Floyd Mayweather was here a long time ago. So they were hanging out. These are two women, Hernitha McGill and Kara Blackburn. They're in the club. They are friends of his new girlfriend, Josie Harris. That's his new girlfriend. You'll hear plenty about her. Don't worry.
Starting point is 01:20:26 So they're hanging out there. Apparently, this is late at night, August 1st, 2003. This is when Floyd and several of his bodyguards walk in, air quote bodyguards, walk into the club. Now, McGill here, the Hernitha, she is friends with, like said josie uh josie harris and she said she had had a prior run-in with may way with mayweather and wanted to leave the club she just said i know he doesn't like me i want to get out of here i don't want to deal with this situation he's probably
Starting point is 01:20:58 going to yell at me so uh yeah so this is what happened. She said that she attempted to leave when she saw him coming. And then she said that as he got closer, she read his lips as he was saying he and some other guys he was with should go hurt her, basically. And she said before she could get away, Mayweather punched her in the jaw and in the head. He just ran up in the club and punched a girl? And then punched the other girl in the head. He punched both of them. He punched Hernitha in the jaw, and then he punched Cara in the back in the head. He just punched two women in public.
Starting point is 01:21:44 I don't know if public even matters, but it's so much worse to just say. It really is. It's so much crazier. Because people hide sick, weird shit like that. That's a little bit of shame, even in the biggest monster. You should feel.
Starting point is 01:21:55 Yeah, even the biggest monster knows the rest. I might not care, but the rest of these people will crown upon this behavior. I don't want to cause a scene. Holy shit. No, he's like, I don't give a fuck. That's how much he doesn't care how much he thinks.
Starting point is 01:22:08 I'm starting a fucking riot. Wow. So that's what I mean. So the hernifa said she was trying to get away here. She said, quote, I fell to the ground and Kara tried to help. And she was. And as she was, Mr. Way Mayweather hit her as well.
Starting point is 01:22:22 The other friend tried to help her up and she's don help her, and punched her in the fucking head, too. After she was hit, I helped her up, and then we ran out of the club. So, ba-boom, fall, you help you up. Nope, you fall. Nope, I get up, I pick you up, and run out. He's playing fucking club whack-a-mole. Club girl whack-a-mole. This is not great with your girlfriend's friends.
Starting point is 01:22:42 This is ridiculous. What an asshole. He hates his girlfriend's friends. Fuck, man. Yeah, I mean, everybody hates their girlfriend's friends. This is ridiculous. What an asshole. He hates his girlfriend's friends. Fuck, man. Yeah, I mean, everybody hates their girlfriend's friends. Actually, I don't. Sarah's fine, but her friends are fine.
Starting point is 01:22:53 But everyone hates that girlfriend's friends. You don't punch them. You're not allowed. No. You sit there and you go, Jesus, is she coming? Oh, Christ. This bitch again. Fucking whore. She says horrible things about me.
Starting point is 01:23:04 And about you, I'm sure, when you're not around. She says it about me. She certainly says it about you and about you i'm sure when you're not around she says it about me she certainly says it oh she talks mad she says all kinds of horrible things about how you're dating me why so right there well we know four dudes that she blew last week come on what are we doing uh yeah so apparently uh uh they said that we apparently she said we started to walk out fast but it was too late and then the other girl said I saw him hit her. The one who got hit in the head
Starting point is 01:23:31 saw him hit the other one and back of the head as she tried to help her friend off the ground which is even more chicken shit. Yeah, that's not even legal in boxing. You're punching a girl in the back of the head. That's just fucking pathetic. You wouldn't hit a dude in the back of the head in the ring. No, but they apparently ran out of the club but said that mayweather and his entourage pursued them outside uh there and then casino security intervened and uh at that point mayweather
Starting point is 01:23:57 picked up and shook a female security guard for which he was handcuffed and issued a citation for because you can't do that that's not good after the whole thing was calmed down the girls said they wanted to file a report and the security guards convinced them not to file a police report saying that it would they would quote end up paying for it in the streets which is not what you're supposed to do wait who would pay for in the street the girls the girls are gonna i wouldn't do that you're gonna end up paying for that in the streets they look serious i just leave it alone that's literally what they were saying wow i mean you saw them they're crazy mother they chased you out of the club they punched you before they punched a girl in the back of the head in
Starting point is 01:24:37 public this is crazy time so uh yeah um after a couple of weeks though they ended up actually filing reports with the police and with hotel security. And that was that. And they also contacted a civil lawyer as well. If you're punched in public by a man with millions of dollars, I'd love to talk to you. I'd like to say if you're a man with millions of dollars and you punch a woman in public, expect to be sued. Yeah. And rightfully so.
Starting point is 01:25:01 Absolutely. Don't fucking punch people, dummy. to be sued yeah and rightfully so absolutely don't fucking punch people dummy so november 1st 2003 back in grand rapids fighting philip the time bomb nadoo the time bomb that's a bad name for him so it's not box or ndou oh that's awful nadoo uh nadoo philip nadoo nadoo maybe it's in dao i don't know he's the Yeah. He's ticking. You better figure out how to pronounce it before he goes off. Is that what it is? The red of the green roomers. Nadoo or Endo.
Starting point is 01:25:32 Fuck. Or Endow. Right. Yellow? Shit. It's not Endow. It went off. 31-1 he is, though, so he's ticking.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Round 7 TKO, 31-0 for Floyd. December 2003. Hey, guess what happens what happens uh-huh guess what he does yeah i'll give you a guess how many women did he punch uh just one this time um 2003 as a domestic violence in december here he is accused of punching and kicking josie harris his new girlfriend inside of his bentley in vegas here yeah they're outside of a night club uh the sro club i don't fucking know any of these clubs and uh they were seated in his bentley and apparently she confronted him about him uh not him cheating on her with other women because that's he does that because it's his thing that's and he's he's open about it right and uh apparently mayweather responded to this
Starting point is 01:26:25 by uh repeatedly punching her wow and then kicking her in the car and then dragging her out of the car as well opening her door pulling her from the car causing facial lacerations and everything like that wow oh yeah that's a vicious attack he beat the shit out of her and dragged her out because she asked him if he was cheating on her, which he is, by the way. All right. So he's doing it. Whoa. This is some psychotic shit on like five. He's getting new levels of abusive psychosis here.
Starting point is 01:26:55 This is a fucking piece of garbage. He's Chris Brown without learning the lesson. You know, at least pretending. Right. A minute ago, he was like, I'm fine. I've never been to jail. Let me punch this girl. What'd you say to me, bitch? Like, what the fuck are you doing? or at least pretending right a minute ago he's like i'm fine i've never been to jail pal let me punch this girl what'd you say to me bitch like what the fuck are you doing a minute ago
Starting point is 01:27:09 a judge may have had the opportunity to uh correct this you know what i mean yeah with the first suspended he's above the law maybe make him go well let's that's the funny thing wait do you see wait do you see how this plays out what you just said right there, Jimmy, you might be a smart guy. Listen to this shit. She also told officers that this is not the first time he's beaten me, even though it's the first time he's arrested for it. And he is arrested and charged with felony battery at this point in time. Now, March of 2004, a couple months later here, a guy named William Morris, not the
Starting point is 01:27:41 agent of agency fame, he's a part-time bouncer at the Radio Tavern. And he told police that he was knocked on the floor of the bar on December 18th of 2003 when a man named Jackie Ray Jones then broke a bottle over his head. And then while the guy was down, Mayweather kicked and punched him. Wow! Okay. So they order an arrest warrant for him back in Grand Rapids. It's assault and battery is basically what it is.
Starting point is 01:28:15 It could remain outstanding until he returns. They're not going to go extradite him somewhere for assault and battery. But yeah, his advisor released a statement saying quote it's obvious that floyd is a target we're looking forward to presenting the facts as to what the motivation is behind this baseless allegation and we're confident that the confident the facts will come out floyd will be vindicated how many times have you heard that statement it's i love that he goes out and beats the shit out of everybody and they're like it's obvious he's a target clearly
Starting point is 01:28:44 clearly people's heads are just going right at his fists it's just stupid and they're at his feet too they can't even stop at his fists people are attracted to his to his violence they should treat people like him uh and and other fighters who use this for bad as fucking weapons yeah you have to you have gotta take into consideration this man is dangerous in the parameters of rules with no fucking rules oh and again someone who's not a fighter right and who is you know a girl who's weighs 50 pounds less than him or 40 pounds less than him probably more yeah and uh way less of a fight yeah it's not even ridiculous yeah like not a fighter like just got her nails done not ready to throw throw fists right now got her big earrings in you know what i'm saying didn't plan for this even sex is a bit too uh physical for for how i'm how i'm put together
Starting point is 01:29:35 at the moment look at me yeah i'm delicate i just got my hair done you're gonna fuck it up you're gonna fuck it all up so may 22nd 2004 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Oh, boy. Fighting Demarcus Corley, who's 28-2-1 coming in. And he'll end up 51-33-1. Yikes. That's a downhill career. Unanimous decision, 32-0 for Mayweather.
Starting point is 01:30:00 June 12th, 2004. This is the trial for punching the two women in the club, for punching Kara and McGill there. Now, during the trial, Floyd testifies that he never saw the two women who were accused of pimpin'. I didn't even see them there that night. I don't know what you're talking about, is what he said. But the cameras said what? Security guards, everyone else in the club. Well, after the rest of the evidence
Starting point is 01:30:25 is put in he's convicted of two accounts of misdemeanor battery right and uh yeah the judge was a little pissy with him too good uh was angered by his failure to uh by taking responsibility and but then listen to this if you don't if he doesn't change his attitude that she would put him in prison in a new york minute how about that's enough you didn't change his attitude, that she would put him in prison in a New York minute. How about that's enough? You didn't change your attitude. You're punching too many people. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:30:50 She also says, you may be a terrific and famous fighter, but that doesn't make you a god. So he's given a one-year jail sentence, suspended again. And he's ordered to undergo counseling. How many suspended sentences can he get? That's right.
Starting point is 01:31:05 And then the judge said that if he didn't complete his impulse control counseling and stay out of trouble for a year, he's going to spend a year in prison. What do you think? Think that's going to happen? Probably not. She also ordered him to either pay a one thousand dollar fine or serve a hundred hours of community service. Those things are commensurate. One of the two. Yeah. Your pick. 100 hours of community service those things aren't commensurate one one of the two yeah you your pick one one he finds it in like his between the seats of his bentley right and the other one is 100 hours
Starting point is 01:31:32 of community let's come on jesus christ do you have a thousand dollars or a hundred hours of your personal time because your time's worth ten dollars an hour apparently as a rich boxer how about 100 hours of community service never mind the fine now uh one of his lawyers though richard wright suggested that the women were using the criminal charges only to get money out of him they said that uh he said he found it hard to believe that they didn't have bruises or need medical attention he says quote then the mcgill girl says quote i don't want to sue mr mayweather i just want mr mayweather to leave me alone fair enough now january 22nd 2005 american airlines arena miami he fights henry el nitro brussels yeah el nitro doesn't sound like he's gonna have
Starting point is 01:32:18 a spanish name brussels and then it's brussels uh he's 21 and 2 coming in so he's a up-and-comer here tko in round eight for floyd 33 you know february 2005 he is fined and ordered to perform community service in grand rapids after having to plead no contest to misdemeanor assault and battery for kicking that bouncer while he was on the ground yeah which he doesn't know what they're talking about he's a target obviously for misdeeds you're a target for fucking assault and battery charges that's what you are wow he's like dude this is it's what about the guy with so much worse did that guy go to jail too i don't know i had to we have well i'll do a crime in michigan bars in rural michigan bars had to be part of his entourage though right i don't know maybe yeah if there's just a fight was like yeah he just heard a bottle
Starting point is 01:33:05 break and starts kicking lovers on the ground look at hell's angels bar turns into i don't know where he just goes full fucking crazy we're fighting now redneck bar fight yeah you hear the jukebox go thank you thank you heart stops forget about it lloyd's throwing fucking blows get him uh june 26 2005 at the boardwalk hall in atlantic city this is for the wbs world super lightweight title versus arturo gatti yeah he was a really good fighter and wars with mickey ward and he's a very well-known guy here. This is stopped in the sixth round, though. Floyd dominates him pretty good.
Starting point is 01:33:50 34-0 for Floyd. This does 365,000 pay-per-view buys for a revenue of $16.5 million on pay-per-view. Yeah, for the HBO network here. Yeah, so from now on, I'm going to have pay-per-view numbers on these fights too july of 2005 uh he is acquitted here by a jury in july of the of beating up josie harris inside the bentley and dragging her out okay uh he's acquitted because harris gets up and testifies that she was lying the whole time. It never happened. Why would you do that? Because how much money does that take? Well, let's find out here.
Starting point is 01:34:30 She said that she had been angry that Floyd had left her for another woman and she was pissed. She said she instigated the fight because she was jealous of the other woman and that Floyd did drag her from the car causing her wound. But it was only because she was out of control. She literally got on a stand in a court and said, I deserved it. And that Floyd did drag her from the car, causing her wound, but it was only because she was out of control. Wow. She literally got on a stand in a court and said, I deserved it. I was crazy that night. She said, I was out of control. He had to drag me physically from the car.
Starting point is 01:34:53 Do you know how jealous I was? I would not leave that car. Wow. I needed him. He saved my life. That's an abused person. Yeah. Dude, that's crazy.
Starting point is 01:35:00 That's unbelievable. She testified. She lied to the police about the punching and kicking. And she even said that Mayweather would never hit her uh-huh would never hit her because quote he's like a teddy bear inside oh boy a teddy bear uh so he's acquitted right after that he bought her a 500 000 25 carat diamond ring yeah directly after that court case that is the most kobe literally he yeah that was he took the kobe q there wow five hundred thousand dollar ring half a million dollar 25 carat diamond ring boom there you go those were some great words wow jesus july 24 2005 a jewelry
Starting point is 01:35:38 company is suing him yeah not the one from the different one here you think right it's a lot of jewelry coming up by the way there's a picture of him wearing all of his necklaces at one point if you look it up he has like 45 necklaces all just covered in diamonds yeah it's like you know three million dollars worth of jewelry there are villages that were wiped out for for his neck it's insanity more than that probably this uh jeweler claims that he owes tens of thousands of dollars for a number of custom pieces, including a diamond-encrusted belt buckle bearing his name. What are you, a rodeo champion? Why would you want that?
Starting point is 01:36:12 Why? No. What the fuck? Jesus Christ. Yeah, it's in Las Vegas. They claim breach of contract. Mayweather has an unpaid bill of $124,000 for 20 pieces of jewelry. This is, he purchased 20 pieces of jewelry.
Starting point is 01:36:28 This is he purchased in June of 2004. They said, quote, the account is fairly sizable and he has just not paid it off. And so there's that. They're suing him for that. I'm sure he paid it off eventually. I'm sure it's gone. Yeah. November 19, 2005, Rose Garden in Portland.
Starting point is 01:36:43 He fights Sharma Little Big Man Mitchell. He's 56 and four TKO and six rounds 35 and 0 for floyd april 8th back at the thomas and mac center in vegas how about that james he is 35 and 0 yeah and the other guy 50 whatever and what 56 and 4 what do you want to bet his bank account and floyd's are entirely vastly oh my god yeah no floyd floyd could literally generate so much money he could like buy him as a servant he would have incredible little big man like just making drinks for him yeah you're you're my margarita guy i don't even like him but you're gonna stay there in case i want one keep making them just keep making them i'll pay you more than you're making
Starting point is 01:37:17 boxing jesus christ can you remember is your brain okay so uh back in april a thomas and mac center for the ibo and ibf welterweight titles now he's moved up again in weight uh this is versus zab judah zab judah's a bad dude bad bad man real dude real bad tough motherfucker 34 and 3 coming in for zab now this fight uh roger gets involved in this one a little bit more than you'd expect the trainer to apparently near the end of the 10th round this is fucking amazing judah hits mayweather with a left hand and it's a it's a low blow you can see it's below the belt but i mean that shit happens and it's right near the end of the round it looks like he's trying to get a cheap shot in so uh then he does that shit yeah and he followed up with like a little right-handed rabbit punch
Starting point is 01:38:01 like because he had him around he was he was trying to be cute. So Richard Steele, the referee, calls timeout with five seconds remaining in the round. Separates them, and that's going to be the end of the round. So while they're separated, Roger jumps in the ring. Highly unusual. You don't see that often. And was restrained by the referee.
Starting point is 01:38:19 So the referee jumps in front of him and holds him. So then Zab Judah's father, who's also his trainer, Yoel Judah, he jumps in the ring and takes a swing at Roger. So now it's full fucking melee time. Now, Roger was just a professional fighter like six years ago. So I don't know if it's smart for a 60-year-old man to be throwing punches at him. So anyway, he starts to take a swing on Roger, swings at Roger. So then Zab ends up going after Roger, taking a swing on roger uh swings at roger so then zab ends up going after
Starting point is 01:38:46 roger uh taking a swing at him and then they start grappling zab's got fucking boxing gloves on he's he's literally at work and they're fighting in the ring he's still got rounds to go yes this fight's not over he's fighting with his opponent's uncle right who jumped out of the fuck the fuck so So Roger ends up getting ejected. Security has to come in and clear the room. It was a fucking melee.
Starting point is 01:39:09 It was crazy. Roger gets ejected and then they finish the two rounds and Mayweather wins by unanimous decision because he was kicking his ass the whole time.
Starting point is 01:39:16 36-0. Zab knew that he was getting worked over. Oh yeah, he got frustrated. That's the same reason why Tyson fucking bit Holyfield's ear
Starting point is 01:39:24 because he kept headbutting him. Because it was over. By the way, Holyfield deserves that CTE. As many fucking cheap headbutts as he gave over the years, that's why he has that. Because he didn't get hit a lot. He did it to himself. He would constantly headbutt people. So you did that to yourself.
Starting point is 01:39:38 I don't want to remember this fight. Yeah, every time you can't pronounce your kids' names for a reason. That's why. Yep. So anyway in the unanimous decision 36 and 0 five days after the fight though the nevada state athletic commission decides because they were wondering whether to overturn the bout or call it a no contest or something like that misconduct yeah they decide to let the decision stand that didn't affect the
Starting point is 01:40:01 fight it was like judah was down you know nine rounds to one anyway it didn't affect the fight. It was like Judah was down nine rounds to one anyway. It was over. It didn't matter. And so they don't overturn it. But Mayweather, Roger, the uncle, is fined $200,000 and suspended for a year. So he can still train Mayweather, but he's not allowed ringside for a year. That's a lot. That's a lot. This did 374,000 pay-per-view buys for a $16,800,000 pay-per-view gate.
Starting point is 01:40:26 Not too shabby. The IBF ordered a rematch between Mayweather and Judah, but then Zab Judah got suspended for a year for, I think, performance-enhancing drugs, if I'm not mistaken. And also, he probably deserved it for some extracurricular shit he was doing on his personal life. Yeah, Zab had a lot of problems. That's a fucking crazy man. That's the thing they talk about, too. The Nevada State Athletic Commission
Starting point is 01:40:46 can pull your license for any criminal activity. You could get a traffic ticket, and they could say that's cause enough to pull your license. It's fucked up. They can do anything they want.
Starting point is 01:40:55 They pulled, two different guys, they pulled, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was one of them. They pulled their licenses for having positive marijuana tests. Meanwhile, Floyd,
Starting point is 01:41:04 on the other hand how many fucking times has he been around do you hear a word about his license women oh there's way worse shit to come do you hear a fucking word about his license not word never that's because he makes them money 16 million dollars is a lot of money ridiculous each time he stands in that rank that's right and november 4th uh 2006 bandolet bay there he is in Vegas, and he's Mr. Vegas. This is for the WBC welterweight title versus Carlos Manuel Baldemore. He's 43-9-6 coming in.
Starting point is 01:41:32 Unanimous decision win for Floyd. This does 325,000 pay-per-view buys, a little over $16 million. Now, Floyd Sr. has been training Oscar De La Hoya this whole whole time from 2001 to 2006 so now there's a fight coming up between delahoya and mayweather so this is a big deal
Starting point is 01:41:54 floyd senior says he will he'll train oscar for the flight against floyd but he wants two million dollars to do it to train him yeah he's, look, I know how to beat Floyd. So you want that information, that's going to be $2 million extra for that shit. And then I'll train you then. So De La Hoya opted to not bring him on. Really? He said, never mind.
Starting point is 01:42:16 Yeah, he felt like he was getting held up, and so he uses Freddie Roach instead, who ends up being kind of his guy after that. So May 5th. Good choice. Yeah, I mean, who cares? Yeah, we'll take Freddie Roach. freddie roach instead who ends up being you know kind of his guy after that so may 5th choice yeah yeah i mean who cares yeah i'll take freddie roach may 5th 2007 mgm uh fighting oscar delahoya this was a big fight i was filming i was filming a movie thing this night and the house we were at we were filming both dex store neighbors on either side were mexican families that were both having
Starting point is 01:42:44 parties for this shit to watch this well it's fucking cinco de mayo and it's a it's oscar de la jolla fight so this was like you know every fucking mexican in america was watching this goddamn thing and probably mexico too that's i mean there was each house had 30 people in it watching the fights they were having parties so we had to wait for the fight to be over i said we'll fill this scene i'm literally screaming somebody knock somebody the fuck out jesus christ i couldn't take it anymore i don't care who it is just explode in head and let's move on goes the full round full i remember this painful split decision 38 and 0 here this does 2 million 400 000 pay-per-view buys now everybody everybody knows who he is. For a gate of $136 million on pay-per-view.
Starting point is 01:43:29 Huge. This is when he's a monstrous, huge celebrity. And everybody just forgets that he will beat the shit out of any woman that he can find. Yeah. So this year, he's such a big star. 2007, he goes on Dancing with the Stars. Yeah. As a matter of fact fact it's the fifth season
Starting point is 01:43:45 his partner is a professional ballroom dancer named karina smirnoff here oh she's hot this year i'm trying to think of people wayne newton was on this wayne newton's like 75 years old if you're a professional athlete that can't outdance wayne newton you should probably fucking retire well they have these mark cuban yeah he's a computer nerd i don't care how many fucking things you own you're a computer nerd run up and down the sideline of a basketball court doesn't make you a fucking dancer no this is ridiculous uh all my children actress fucking uh what's her name from uh 90210 jenny garth there what the hell is she i don't remember which one uh marie osmond yeah who are you kidding me? Mel B? She should do well. She's a dancer, for Christ's sake.
Starting point is 01:44:26 I don't know. Julianne Hough ended up winning it. Yeah, she did. Who the hell knows? She was great at it, too. Yeah, that's her thing. Yeah, yeah. So, apparently...
Starting point is 01:44:36 It's hilarious watching that show. They have people like Jennifer Grey on there, and she won. Yeah. Yeah, she won the whole thing, and they were like... At the end, she was like, I can't believe I won. I i can't believe i can do this you were in a movie where you did exactly fucking this called dirty dancing you fucking moron literally you idiot julianne huff and an indie 500 driver won it so that's how stupid that is it's a it's a dumb show but i understand the the fascination with housewives watching that shit. Yes.
Starting point is 01:45:05 Fascinating to watch people. I don't want to watch anybody dance. Never mind. On the periphery you've watched. Fuck, Jesus Christ. So Smirnoff and Mayweather, they're the fourth couple to be eliminated. They finish in ninth place there. December 8th, 2007 at the MGM versus Ricky, the hitman Hatton.
Starting point is 01:45:20 Yeah. He was 43-0 coming in. So this was a, yeah, this was 38-0 versus 43-0. This this was a yeah, this was 38 and 0 verse 43. You know, this is a big deal. Hatton's 45 and 3 for his career total. So not bad. But if Mayweather gets to him here with a TKO in the 10th round, Ricky Hatton's from New York, right? I think so.
Starting point is 01:45:36 Shit. I can't remember. 39 and 0 now for for Floyd. This does 920,000 pay-per-view buys for $50 million. Shit! Jesus Christ. It's at this point that he announces his retirement from boxing. He's done now. He's going to concentrate on his promotional company. He says he wants
Starting point is 01:45:53 Ricky Hatton to be his first client. So he must have impressed him in the fight. He's 2007 Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year. In 2008, he's mad at his uncle for training another fighter. You retired, stupid. mad at his uncle for training another fighter. You retired, stupid. He's training a guy named Steve Forbes.
Starting point is 01:46:09 Not that Steve Forbes. He said, quote, I asked Roger not to train Forbes. This is what I mean. Control. He's driving a car I gave. How dare he fucking train anybody else? He said, I'm upset with my uncle Roger. I disapprove of Roger. If he continues to train Forbes, I have to get another trainer trainer that's what he fucking says what for who i'm gonna hold him hostage till i feel
Starting point is 01:46:29 like boxing and i'll give him whatever little money i feel like giving him until then and make him he's got to be fucking compliant to me under my thumb everyone must wait for me that's how it works here now 2008 he does a stupid rap song named Yep, it's called. Oh, boy. Now, he only did it for one reason. That's because he needs an entrance song for his WrestleMania match. Get out of here. Oh, yeah. He did WrestleMania.
Starting point is 01:46:53 You don't remember this? No. 2008? No. Oh, then you're going to really find it amazing. Oh, my God. He's going to fight in WrestleMania 24 against The Big Show. Oh, Jesus. Now, you know who Big Show is, right?
Starting point is 01:47:03 If you don't know. This is an enormous it's a wall of big shows like seven to about 500 pounds and he's a good athlete too he would literally tear floyd mayweather's head from his shoulders and then dunk it through a hoop yeah that's how fucking huge he is it's ridiculous this is a stupid premise in the first place he could palm mayweather's torso that's you if you can pick a man up by the torso, that's too much. You can't fight that guy.
Starting point is 01:47:28 Not okay. Floyd says, quote, it's just entertainment. You have a chance to just be you and do what you want to do. About wrestling, he's talking about. He said, wrestling takes care of business right on the spot.
Starting point is 01:47:38 Whatever they say they're going to do, they do it right on the spot. There's no waiting three, four, five months. Quick results, quick money, quick big money, too. From what I understand, they paid him a couple million bucks for this, or more than that. He says $20, but I mean, they didn't pay him $20 million for it. But they paid him a good fucking amount.
Starting point is 01:47:54 They didn't make $20 million that night. And the match, I get it. It looked amazing to see Big Show with this guy, 5'7 and 7'2. The picture of it was wild. It was just like, what's going to happen here? But then once they get in there, and the guys did a good job. They did a good job of trying to work a match, but it's just
Starting point is 01:48:12 silly because if Floyd gets within punching range, Big Show is just going to grab him and then rip him apart with his bare hands. If it was a real fight, he just literally when he comes in, let him hit him and then just grab his little body and crush it right and that's the end of it and throw him outside the ring and say next please put that one i'm still hungry i'm still
Starting point is 01:48:34 hungry yeah if that was a real fight uh but that's what happens makes a shitload of money floyd ends up winning okay it's the end of the match of course Floyd's not gonna enter that and take the loss they have Floyd T off on his face and actually hit him broke Big Show's nose you can see him
Starting point is 01:48:51 sock him right in the fucking nose which pissed Big Show off a little bit as you might imagine he wanted him to lay it in a little but it's like the one rule is
Starting point is 01:48:58 don't hit nose nose teeth and eyes don't break anything in wrestling even when they say let's lay it in nose teeth and eyes cheeks you lay it in forehead you lay it in how my fucking nose stupid that takes surgery you dummy so he hits him in the fucking nose big show has to be on one knee by the way for this
Starting point is 01:49:14 like they had to get him where he got him like down on one knee finally and then he tees off it's a one-two jump he would jump it would look silly as shit ridiculous it was so stupid so anyway august 2009 um we'll touch on this because we'll do roger in with uh we'll do all the brothers of the elder mayweathers together but uh roger in august 2009 it's important because he's still working with floyd is arrested in vegas for attacking one of his former boxers who is a female boxer and uh he hit her several times in the ribs tried to choke her causing her to spit up blood when police arrived wow uh yeah not good here and then on the uh 24
Starting point is 01:49:52 7 hbo series he admitted to choking her in an effort to restrain her he said but he denied physically striking her you'll find out this is the mayweather family line when it comes to being accused of hitting women you just say I was trying to restrain them. All right. Which you still shouldn't do. But I was restraining. That's what they say. Wait till you hear them restrain later on.
Starting point is 01:50:11 Cover and call 911, you dick. Yeah. If she's that vicious. Yeah, I would say. Also, one of Mayweather's, right at the same time, one of Mayweather's buddies in his entourage is being sought by Las Vegas authorities for a shooting outside a skating rink where apparently one of his employees here who goes by OC was being looked for. And he was apparently fired several shots into a vehicle as a driver and passenger were leaving the parking lot outside the Crystal Palace skating rink. Nobody was hurt.
Starting point is 01:50:42 Police end up searching one of mayweather's homes and his rolls royce uh monday saying the car that his car was involved but i mean he gives cars he's got like 50 cars uh yeah so mayweather's not named a suspect or anything like that it's just his boy but they do search his rolls royce which i'm sure pissed him off yeah now september 19th 2009 comes back to boxing you know gets, gets his sanity up here. At the MGM, he fights Juan Manuel Marquez, who's 50 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw. Unanimous decision for Floyd in the comeback. 40-0.
Starting point is 01:51:18 This does 1.1 million pay-per-view buys, $55 million gate, which is a shitload now uh this is when the first pacquiao mayweather fight comes up they're supposed to fight uh they propose it in march of 2010 that's i mean years earlier than when it actually happened but they couldn't agree on a timeline for drug testing for the fight this was always the sticking point is mayweather wanted drug testing right before the fight like the day before the fight. Pacquiao wouldn't do it. He wouldn't do it inside of three days. So he wanted a three day cushion to be able to take steroids because he fucking take steroids before he fights.
Starting point is 01:51:56 He needs it. Yeah. Because a lot of these guys do. Of course. You know, and especially when they're getting older. So anyway, allegedly. especially when they're getting older. So anyway, allegedly.
Starting point is 01:52:07 So anyway, he says that Mayweather Sr. This is when Mayweather Sr. starts coming back into the fold, too. And he says that Manny Pacquiao's, he says that his impressive displays are aided by performance-enhancing drugs. That's why he won't take the tests. And so, yeah, they're going back and forth on this. It appears that way. Yeah, that's what I'm saying it was it was so detailed too they stopped uh they talked about they had an agreement before that too that which of the two fighters would step onto the scale first at the weigh-in
Starting point is 01:52:36 pacquiao uh pacquiao would walk to the ring first mayweather would be introduced first mayweather had first choice of locker room. They had like this whole thing. Yeah, the pay-per-view cost would be $59.95. Fucking everything, man. They had it done here. But it doesn't work. It was expected to be a giant pay-per-view, obviously, here. But it doesn't happen, as we talk about.
Starting point is 01:52:59 They end up like suing each other over things that they said. It's fucking ridiculous. Mayweather wanted blood testing even up to the weigh-in. He wanted them to be able to test you on your way out to get weighed in. And Pacquiao didn't want that. So he says Manny freaked out. He knows that Manny gets freaked out when his blood gets taken and feels that it weakens him. Okay.
Starting point is 01:53:20 Yeah, okay. That's what it is. For $100 million, you don't mind being a little weak right fuck out of here jesus christ man so yeah get over that for that fucking payday it's goddamn ridiculous yeah so apparently the he ends up fighting ricky hatton and they do the blood tests like weeks before it okay which is what's the point at that point yeah 24 days uh yeah it's it's it's silly so anyway may 1st 2010 mgm grand mayweather fights sugar shane mosley which is another he's he was a great fighter in his prime there you have 46 and 5 coming in and this was downside though this was
Starting point is 01:53:59 he wasn't in his peak he was in his peak in like 2002 you should drop sugar at this point yeah if they were in the same weight class in in 2003 man that would have been a fucking fight that would have been a great fight 2002 but didn't happen so unanimous decision for floyd 41 and 0 but it does 1.4 million buys for 78 million dollars damn it jesus now july of 2010 is when we start hearing about his stupid purchases all these pay-per-view dollars he's getting a shitload of money now now he's making hand over absurd money he's buying he has bentley's rolls royces he's got an he has like an army of white cars and an army of black cars awesome that he has just fleets of shit it's insane this is when he comes out with the $50,000 iPod.
Starting point is 01:54:45 Remember that? No. It was a big deal on social media. Apple made him a $50,000 iPod. For what? First of all, an iPod, like a year before, right before no one ever had another iPod again. He spent 50 grand on it. He's the last person that gets one.
Starting point is 01:55:00 Yeah. So it was fucking nuts here, though. But he said, and he he said it's a platinum case with diamonds all over it it's so stupid and he says he puts out a picture and says any artist in my ipad is platinum thanks to the case uh-huh you fucking idiot also a las vegas auto dealer disclosed that he had purchased a total of 88 vehicles just from his lot alone. Just from him. 88 cars. Including 14 Rolls Royces.
Starting point is 01:55:28 Wow. Jesus Christ. Holy shit. He is throwing money out. I'm telling you. His friend here, James McNair, said, quote, renting out hotels for private parties, and wagering $1 million on college football games. Remember, he bet on Oregon, $1.1 million. Also, at the $100,000 strip-off, he brought additional stacks of dollar bills, is what his sister said, Fatima Mayweather,
Starting point is 01:56:05 who recalled unwrapping the brick-sized stacks of dollar bills, and the boxer's entourage chuckled and threw the money and, you know, making it. It's hilarious. Yeah. It was like a movie, they said. Also, he said, his friend said, we'll go to the strip club for three or four hours, and there'll be $30,000 or $40,000 on the floor. He says, then you look around, and you're like,
Starting point is 01:56:27 holy shit, that's a down payment on a house. Yeah. Yeah, a nice one. You assholes. One time, this McNair recalls a trip to Atlanta with Floyd. The morning they arrived, Mayweather woke up and realized that he had no transportation, so they caught a ride to a Mercedes dealership.
Starting point is 01:56:44 They didn't rent a car or call an uber they thumbed a ride they got a ride bought a car to a mercedes dealership uh mayweather who carries around a hundred thousand dollars cash when he carries just just bought a hundred thousand just bought a coupe with a v8 engine just to drive around a little bit there the next day they flew back to vegas and you know nothing came up for like two months and then all of a sudden mayweather said hey didn't i have a mercedes down there and he says quote then he realized he'd left it parked at the airport only a rich man can forget about a brand new mercedes just sitting at the airport just left at the airport oh my god i forgot about
Starting point is 01:57:20 that that's gonna the long-term parking boy Boy, they're going to... That's going to be expensive. It cost me like $100. So, yeah, this is crazy. He also started a charitable foundation there in 2007. He donated to which the Floyd Mayweather Foundation donated $500 in 2013. In 2011, they spent $6 hundred dollars on charitable activities and made no donations in 2012 they donated forty thousand six hundred ninety five dollars including twenty five thousand dollars to saint jude's ranch for children in boulder city nevada and fifteen thousand one hundred ninety five dollars for diamonds love foundation a non-profit established by sugar
Starting point is 01:58:03 shane mosley's family sounds like it took him two years to remember he had it oh shit i got that 2003 total expenses were 6205 including 2432 for a back-to-school fundraiser and 2700 for a woman's professional fundraiser and he threw 34 grand at strippers yeah he currently right now i don't know about in 2010 but right now he lives in a 22 000 square foot nine million dollar las vegas mansion uh huge crystal chandeliers it's ridiculous it's it's fucking silly as shit he's got bugattis he's got lamborghinis porsches ferrari stupid rolls it's it's so fucking silly he also travels on a private jet everywhere doesn't fly anywhere other than that um yeah he spent jesus christ he spent two million dollars developing his own record label uh filthy
Starting point is 01:58:52 rich records you asshole and uh yeah that's right and his that never paid off anything just threw that money away and he also started a promotional company that managers fighters and sells merchandise and everything like that he has a seven million dollar watch collection oh my god so how does he have anything left i can't believe he keeps making money yeah he just keeps doing it now generates cash dude at this point he's got to be like i mean for him the world is getting small for him you know what i mean as far as everyone knows who he is, he's got all this money. Every time he smacks a woman in a nightclub, it's in the paper. Things get tough. What do you do?
Starting point is 01:59:32 Where do you go? I think for him, though, he would need to... For what Floyd did, he needed a peer is what the thing was. Because it's hard to be understood. You can't go to a regular. He couldn't come to me and tell me about his problems. Obviously. I'd be like, stop hitting women women save your money a little more fucking retire and live
Starting point is 01:59:50 you're doing great my jaw off the ground his life does not make sense to me but he instead he picks a friend out and he finds a friend there's only one man that could help him and that's adam pacman jones the arugula connoisseur that's it he's right there and he says and he has no music as we know he doesn't want i don't want music damn it god damn it floyd floyd hi you know this is damn ridiculous i'll tell you no i understand you try to listen it's this i've been to these vegas nightclubs obviously me and you together we hang out a lot we've been to them and i know how it is. You go in.
Starting point is 02:00:26 When a young lady leaves the nightclub, it's dangerous in these parking lots. There's men out there. You want to make sure they get out of the parking lot in a safe manner. Yeah. In a safe. And sometimes, yeah, yeah, open a door. Maybe they slip and hit them in the head. It's silly.
Starting point is 02:00:39 You're trying to help these young ladies. I don't understand. Bouncers, what's your job but to get kicked on the ground? It's so silly. I don't understand what is happening with these people. But, you know, I do have a problem. I'm going to challenge you. I'm going to say I don't like the way you're a little too arrogant for me. I think that I think I'm a little I want to fight you is what I'm saying. I'm going to fight you. I'm going gonna challenge you to a venue of my choosing yeah my two either which is my arena not yours not an arena mine will be either a low-class strip club or terminal b
Starting point is 02:01:12 of the atlanta international airport where each of us is holding a bag of popeyes now that's the only way it's fair that's how i fight sir so if you're up for that and poof in a cloud of arugula and arrest warrants pac-man jones is gone louisiana hot sauce that's what he had otherwise it sounds shitty floyd swinging at the air after he disappears you son of a bitch now september 8th 2010 okay uh this is when shit gets bad uh josie harris his now ex-girlfriend ish uh they're not really together he's with somebody else you know they're whatever they're broken up they don't live together they're broken up yeah she gets home she was out at a bar um her friends. She gets home at 2.30 a.m. It's the night.
Starting point is 02:02:05 It's in September here, September 8th of 2010. And she gets home to find Mayweather's there talking to their two sons. They have two sons. He's talking, hanging out. They end up getting into an argument at this point. They get into an argument. She ends up calling police and everything like that. He takes off. Cops come. The cops leave. That's that. Okay. This is after an argument. She ends up calling police and everything like that. He takes off.
Starting point is 02:02:25 Cops come. The cops leave. That's that. Okay. This is after an argument. So she then says she woke up at 5 a.m. to Mayweather standing over her, looking at her phone, reading through her text messages. Okay. reading through her text messages okay uh now he apparently uh jesus christ he apparently uh asked if you are fucking this guy and she said yes this is a dude i'm seeing now and this is when he went
Starting point is 02:02:56 fucking off it's uh nba player cj watson what is the guy who she's seeing at the time and they find text messages and she and he freaks the mother fuck out okay uh this this is this is nuts okay i'll let you this is in her own words i'll let josie describe it right from the police report as you can see that's her handwriting and everything on there quote floyd mayweather first came to my home where the kids and i live and harassed me about other people i'm dating in my spare time when i I told him it was none of his business, he began to say threatening things to me. So I called the police. The police said because he owned the home,
Starting point is 02:03:30 even though he did not live there, he was able to come over as he pleased. The police gave, I'm sorry, the blah, blah, blah here. The police gave me an incident number and made me and made him leave.
Starting point is 02:03:43 I laid on the couch, fell asleep and woke up to him saying, I have your phone. Are you having sex with CJ? I said, yes, that's who I'm seeing right now. Then he grabbed me by my hair and threw me on the ground and started punching me on my head with his fist and twisting my arm back, telling me he was going to kill me and the person that I am with. He loves having control. Oh, yeah. He says that he is going to kill me and the person that i am with he loves having
Starting point is 02:04:06 control oh yeah he says that he is going to make both of us disappear is what he said he kept punching me in my head on the top of of my head and on the back of my head i tried to fight my way off uh from him on top of me then he was trying to break my arm by twisting it behind my back holy shit how does how does he not get shot by these people? Oh, the kids are here, by the way. I screamed for the kids to call 911 or run to the gate to get help. Then Floyd said he would beat their ass if they call or leave the house. The kids got out of the front room and started running to the gate to get help when he chased after the kids.
Starting point is 02:04:45 I ran out of the garage. He's like a fucking literal monster. This is a crazy person. I ran out of the garage screaming for help to the guards. Once I got to the guard gate, they called the police, and I waited there until the police and ambulance arrived. The first time he was at my home, he threw $200 at me to give to my daughter for losing a tooth the day before that's tooth fairy money by the way two hundred dollars threw it at her that's tooth fairy cash first of all two hundred dollars for the fucking tooth fairy you're doing way off the
Starting point is 02:05:14 subject of this horrible despicable thing he did are you nuts yes two hundred dollars obviously well clearly yeah then he punched a woman that's the behavior of a man that does that shit then he says quote as she says as he was beating me he stole my phone and told me he was going to have both me and cj taken care of and disappeared and he was going to dismantle me so no one would ever want to date me again okay so they're not dating yet she's staying in a house with gates and guards she's staying it's with his kids yeah she's he's he's got to provide them a residence so and then yeah it's just a gated commute in vegas that can be oh it's that kind of gate it's a guard gate it's not like a house no it's the it's the community's gate okay to the guard gate they're not like no they don't have like a private
Starting point is 02:06:00 security staff he might now but not in this particular place this is where she was this is her place this is her place. This is her place. Where she lives. And the police are just like, he owns it, he can come by here anytime. He can come by when he wants.
Starting point is 02:06:10 There was no physical violence. They did make him leave, but it was more like, hey, calm down, let's break it up for the night. They did an OJ with him. Let's just everybody sleep it off. That's a wild fucking law, though.
Starting point is 02:06:22 Yeah. Is that how the law is interpreted? I guess so if you are it's fucking ridiculous so you can control he can control you whenever he wants yeah even if you're not together i can just control you because you technically own it which he has to provide that for her because she has two of his kids and that's probably court ordered yeah but providing it is a different from fucking invading her life any second he wants. Oh, no, it's insane.
Starting point is 02:06:55 So a man who lives right next to her said that, quote, this morning around 5 a.m., he awakened after hearing a blood curdling scream that sounded like someone was being murdered. He then saw someone in the front of the house and noticed two cars speeding off. So he also, like I said, stole her cell phone from her took the cell phone his 10 year old son was there uh and he claimed that he saw his mother being attacked obviously now he his son was the one who ran out of the house to alert people that were around one of his mother's friends lives nearby ran and told them who went to the guard gate there uh he ran and told the police that he quote saw dad hitting and kicking my mom yeah so i don't think he's making it up probably he's 10 and it happened they talked to him right afterwards he said quote then i heard yelling and i came out and my dad was hitting my
Starting point is 02:07:34 mom it happened at 4 a.m in the morning ridiculous um yeah this is this is he's got millions of dollars why is he at five in the morning looking over a girl's phone? How do you fucking care? How is that his life? How is he there? Absolutely nuts. Doctors found bruises, contusions and contusions in the back and a concussion from the blows to the head, all top and back of the head.
Starting point is 02:07:59 You know, not to leave punch, not to leave marks. He basically was rabbit punching her in the back of the fucking head like a boxer. Yeah. She then says later on, quote, Did he beat me to a pulp? No, but I had bruises on my body and contusions and a concussion because the hits were to the back of my head. I believe it was planned to do that because the bruises don't show. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:08:19 He's Floyd Mayweather. This is called. This is the way he fights. Very, very strategic. And he's an abuser. So he has strategy probably for this shit to get away with this shit this long. Yeah, it's fucking nuts, man. Now, he, on the other hand, calls the charges over-exaggerated and trumped up.
Starting point is 02:08:36 It's all bullshit. He said no physical harm was inflicted. Now, just after this, December 17th, 2010, he is charged with misdemeanor battery for fighting one of the not fighting, but getting in an argument with an HOA guard. One of the guards from his own security of his own car housing complex here. Two security guards cited a couple of his vehicles that were parked outside of his mansion, and he flipped the fuck out. He got a cop giving him a rent-a oh yeah he threatened the guy he threatened the guards right he said quote my home my homies have guns if you want me to call them they'd come over here and take care of you you don't have one pete yeah sorry you have flashlights he then said flashlights
Starting point is 02:09:23 and a pad of citations and then when they put a ticket on it he then said these are my fucking cars don't touch my fucking cars these are worth more than your homes to put together so yeah uh so then two days later december 19th 2010 at 4 a.m he drives up to the guard gate of his community and he's got his entourage with him and everything and they'd work they asked him for id and he went batshit well yeah uh he's fucking kidding me man he said what do you mean you're going to let me in my motherfucking house and then he said that uh you know he demanded all this shit the driver the guard the guard was like a new guy and he said i got to make a call and he said you know who i am and he was screaming and the guard responded
Starting point is 02:10:04 he was just doing his job so uh mayweather said your job is to let a call. And he said, you know who I am. And he was screaming. And the guard responded, he was just doing his job. So Mayweather said, your job is to let me in my house. You didn't buy my house. I bought it. Yeah. Then he said, stop giving me a hard time. You don't give Maloof a hard time. One of the Maloof Vegas casino idiots.
Starting point is 02:10:19 You don't ask him for an ID when he comes. So he starts yelling at him. He says, we're going to. Then he says, we're going to, then he says, we're going to end up having a problem. We had a problem before when the security guard lied
Starting point is 02:10:29 and said that I touched him when I didn't. The last security guards with the tickets said that he poked him in the face when he pointed at him. So that's going to be
Starting point is 02:10:36 a battery, a poke in the face. Now, he said, so then at this point, the guard goes into the guardhouse and closes the door. So Mayweather follows him and just opens the gate himself.
Starting point is 02:10:50 And he then says, because it's all on camera. He then says, I push the button myself and gets back into the car and drives through it there. Now, by the way, there's this list of some infractions at the housing community here. He flipped out at this guy guy poked the last guy domestic violence he's also sued by his uh homeowners association for owing like a million dollars in some kind of crazy tax bill and all this shit and of course shit's not paid uh january 8 2011 he's sued by the hoa they're suing him for ten thousand dollars and asking a district drug judge to order him to abide by community vehicular and parking rules and stop threatening and harassing guards.
Starting point is 02:11:30 You need a judge to tell you that. Jesus Christ. That's awesome. Can you tell him to park right? Oh, my God. We set this up. Everybody else does it. He's the only one.
Starting point is 02:11:41 We set this up. Everybody else does it. He's the only one. They said that they're mad at him for violating, quote, association vehicular and parking regulations, including entering the community via an exit gate, not equipping his car with a required transponder, and not putting association decals on his vehicles. I'm sorry. I understand that. You bought a fucking Rolls Royce.
Starting point is 02:11:59 I'm not putting your decal on my fucking Rolls Royce. I have a fucking sticker on my car. Fuck you. Fuck. No. I have a Bentley. I'm not putting a decal on it. rolls. Right. Sticker on my, my car. Fuck you. Fuck. No, I have a Bentley. I'm not putting a decal on it. No,
Starting point is 02:12:09 I'm not putting a decal on my car. It ain't a Bentley. So no. Now, March 21st, they judge a district judge. U.S. District judge says Pacquiao has sufficient evidence to continue his lawsuit against Floyd
Starting point is 02:12:22 senior and junior and uncle roger uh saying that they're seeking damages of 10 million dollars for the whole steroid accusation thing june 11th our june 2011 jernaro hernandez dies remember we mentioned him uh he dies he had a three-year battle with cancer floyd pays for his funeral that's. So it makes him look good. Yeah. September 17, 2011 at the MGM, vicious Victor Ortiz knocks him out in four. 42-0. This $78 million pay-per-view gate there. Not bad. December 21, 2011, he's in court again.
Starting point is 02:12:57 Not shocking. He pleads guilty. He's pleading guilty to, you know, beating up his... To beating... He's pleading... I am Floyd Mayweather. Guilty. Guilty.
Starting point is 02:13:08 How you doing here? I am that guy. Now, in court, the judge says that he ends up has to plead here. The judge called him a champion in many areas and said that his lawyer said that he buys toys for children on Christmas and donated $100,000 to breast cancer research and that, you know, he said that the public would benefit if Mayweather performed community service with children because you want children around this guy, obviously. Pete's his kid's mom. Yeah, you don't want his own kids against him, for Christ's sake.
Starting point is 02:13:38 Yeah. Also, he, Jesus Christ, oh my God, the Habitat for Humanity said that he hadn't logged his his community service hours from something else that happened. He was supposed to do. So she says that the judge says that, you know, goes over that. He twisted this woman's arm, threatening to kill her and make her disappear. And that your 10 year old son was there. And fucking he she says, quote, things could have gotten more out of hand than they did and then cites is also
Starting point is 02:14:07 more previous domestic violence arrests and all this sort of shit and says that no fines are no fines a consequence to him he's got money he she says quote this is justice of the peace Melissa Saragasa punishment is appropriate no matter
Starting point is 02:14:23 who you are you have to have the consequences to your action when they escalate to this level of violence you sir may fuck off six months in jail with half suspended all right 90 days in jail getting 30 getting 30 this is december yeah now good behavior could knock some time off it and shit like that. Obviously, he was in the court waiting for that. Also, 100 hours of community service and a $2,500 fine. Okay. And a year-long domestic violence counseling program. That's inconvenient as fuck.
Starting point is 02:14:55 That's good. Yeah, inconvenience the shit out of him. Nag him. Yeah. Do give him annoying shit. She inconvenienced his life thoroughly. Now, the plea deal avoided a trial on felony and misdemeanor counts that could have gotten him up to 34 years in state prison. So it's a good plea for him.
Starting point is 02:15:10 He's also expected to plead no contest to the Homeowner Association thing. His girlfriend's very mad about this. His current girlfriend. She's pissed. This is Chantel Jackson. She says the judicial system is really messed up. Wow. Yeah. Took this long to messed up. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:15:28 Took this long to put him in jail. Yeah, I would say so. How can someone who really didn't do anything have to suffer a consequence for something of this magnitude? It really does anger me because how can a lie get so far? Whoa. Remember when he drug a woman? Whoa. Wasn't that her? No, no. That's a different woman. This is a new chick. He spent 500 grand
Starting point is 02:15:44 for nothing. Oh, yeah, oh yeah yeah no that's the one he beat up was the one he gave the ring to and then he beat her up five years later they were ready they were broken up the first time he beat her up ridiculous yeah um now despite jesus christ even after this he told he did an interview with katie coric and said that he doesn't beat women oh my god listen to this we need it in their own words for this because it's that fucking ridiculous it's that stupid uh we in their own words quote did i kick stomp and beat someone no that didn't happen i look in your face and say no that didn't happen did i restrain a woman who was on drugs yes i did so if they say that's domestic violence, then you
Starting point is 02:16:25 know what? I'm guilty. I'm guilty of restraining someone. What? He said that with a camera on him on purpose. That wasn't like a hot mic picked that up. He looked right in Katie Couric's face and fucking said that. I restrain women on
Starting point is 02:16:41 drugs. That's what I do. That's what it is then. I'm guilty. Well enjoy jail dickhead wow um he should go his nickname should be floyd guilty mayweather guilty guilty money uh now harris took off and she moved with her kids to california she told a reporter of usa today quote i was a battered woman i felt embarrassed about saying i was a battered woman i felt shame embarrassed about saying I was a battered woman. I felt shame. I felt like it was my fault. What did I do?
Starting point is 02:17:08 I didn't understand what a battered woman was at the time. Now I know I was in a very dysfunctional, hostile relationship and a victim of domestic violence. Fuck yeah. His son, who saw the whole thing, said, my dad said to lock my door and stay in my room. I sat there and thought about what I was going to do next just for like a minute. And that's when he went out. He said, so I ran and tried to go through the front door to the security gate. But then his friend came through the door and blocked it off.
Starting point is 02:17:35 So then I went back into my room, locked the door, and ran back out of my bathroom and hopped over the gate and went to the main entrance. His son had to fucking escape from the house because one of his shitbag fucking thugs, one of his goons was blocking the way. That's one of the goons that said about the strip clubs, that's what you have to do to hang out with a guy that throws $100 strip club parties. You have to stand by while he abuses his fucking girlfriend and block his children from telling on him.
Starting point is 02:18:01 Otherwise, you get thrown out of your condo. Yeah, otherwise, you lose your fucking condo. You get a turn in your bmw nice fucking game as frankie carbone would say this is bullshit uh yeah so uh yeah she said he went he told the guard that his mom was getting hurt and to call an ambulance and police wow uh this is fucking crazy she said that uh she she was very happy her son did that she said i just thanked him because i didn't know how long it was going to continue to go on and i just feel like he wouldn't i he wouldn't have gone to get the help may not even i may not even still be sitting here so uh yeah now they say at this point they were saying that he hangs out with this this kid still hangs out with floyd and you know gets him up he's got a Bentley golf cart that Floyd got him
Starting point is 02:18:45 and uh all this type of shit you know rushing it yeah he said but the kid says quote we hang we just hang out we either watch a movie or something or go bowling I find boxing boring it's just like how people sit in the ring and fight for 12 rounds and it gets boring after a while sometimes they run uh yeah and then he says they asked him about his dad fighting his mom and then he won't admit it and his son says quote he's a coward that's what he said that's what his kid said about it because he wouldn't admit it he is okay yeah he is a coward harris ended up writing a book and she said i wrote it initially because i wanted to get my side of the story across there were so many different misconstrued stories in the media it was all floyd's side of the story across there were so many different misconstrued stories in the media it was all floyd's side of the story so he was being interviewed and he was saying what what uh
Starting point is 02:19:29 that it wasn't happening well we just we gave the police report so we'll give you a voice over here so he said i don't think uh i don't think he thinks he has a problem i don't say it doesn't sound like it from his interviews he is still four years later if you ask him what happened in the home he says where are the pictures with with rihanna and chris brown there were pictures oh that's what he literally says that he literally brings up chris brown as a fucking parallel to him nuts that is fucking crazy uh hoa battery he does a plea deal that he pays a thousand dollar fine and that's it for the plea deal for poking the guy in the face. Big fucking deal. January 6, 2012, he still hasn't gone to jail yet.
Starting point is 02:20:12 This is when he's supposed to report to jail for his 90 days. A judge lets him stay free because he's got a fight scheduled for May 5th. So a judge says that he has to turn himself in by June 1st now. So a judge basically, how silver is that? Oh, you got plans? Oh, geez. You got you gotta work we don't want to ruin everybody's fight plans fuck people are they're they're buying snacks already we can't have that the fuck out of here are you kidding me you're you're that's what contributing to this
Starting point is 02:20:36 economy that's how much jesus christ man that's unbelievable the lawyer said he wasn't trying to avoid the sentence he was just saying that the potential economic benefit of attracting fight fans and hotel guests to Vegas for this fight would be it would be a shame to turn him away. They said that his last seven fights have generated a billion dollars in business for the community. And so he said that the lawyer said this is simply a delay because of prior commitments and contracts. The judge said Mr. Mayweather has an obligation to this court, but given the fact that Mr. Mayweather has these obligations, I'm going to grant your request for a delay. So they let him do that. May 5th, 2012, Cinco de Mayo. Find me a Mexican to fight, goddammit.
Starting point is 02:21:17 Cinco fucking de Mayo. It makes money. I know how numbers work. But the guy he fights is Puerto Rican. I think he fucked up. He's like like Miguel Cato that sounds Mexican they were like alright sure close enough
Starting point is 02:21:29 right no very different but fine Miguel Cato he's a Puerto Rican from the MGM Cato's 37 and 2 bad motherfucker unanimous decision 43 and 0 for old Mayweather 94 million dollars in pay per view Rev
Starting point is 02:21:44 this is when all the talk of him and Pacquiao starts really... It's really picking up. Everybody wants it, because it's the only thing that matters. Mayweather just outclasses everybody otherwise. So now, June 1st, he heads to jail to serve 90 days here.
Starting point is 02:21:59 At the end of his first week, the records show that he called a guard and asked to receive medical attention for bruised ribs. When asked how he could have hurt his ribs he said i dropped a bottle of lotion and it rolled under my bunk how hard were you jerking off man i bent over to pick it up and heard something pop and then showed a bump in his ribcage he's fighting constantly people punching him never been injured one bit yeah but this is whatever so he ends up getting they ended up taking him for x-rays and shit like that nothing there was no injury he was fine uh also they talk about only after five days in the facility they uh suspected he was bribing inmates to do favors yeah during an
Starting point is 02:22:37 hour-long session of free time he was overheard yelling to an inmate who uh a murder a murderer inmate a guy named paul lopez uh who was jesus christ he yelled to him uh uh quote i'm putting five hundred dollars on your books thanks for looking out this is a uh the guy he gave that to is a gang member who was convicted with other co-defendants for beating a man to death with a bat in outside okay so yeah i think that's people gonna look out for him type shit so the jail's internal investigation reported that five hundred dollars had been placed in his account by a third party who also deposited two hundred dollars into another inmate's account when asked about the payment the other inmate smiled and said quote it is what it is
Starting point is 02:23:17 that's fucking great awesome uh yeah The investigating officer also had a conversation with Lopez, who asked the officer if he could trade his privileges with Mayweather. He said, I want to give him my half hour in the day room, and I'll stay in the multipurpose room for my free time. He was trying to get people. He was trying to buy their free time or whatever he could. That's gangster shit. That's like getting somebody else's PTO at work.
Starting point is 02:23:44 I want your free time. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Give me your paid time off. Give me your paid time. You just show up. gangster shit that's like give it give it yeah getting your getting somebody else's pto i want your free time okay give me a paid time off give me a paid time you just show up so he also refused to eat nearly every meal that was served in there uh they said he uh survived in a diet of commissary snacks including chili cheese fritos candy bars packets of chicken ramen noodles and kippered beef which is like jerky type of shit they are every day they are they reported that he refused to touch the food on his tray except an occasional orange or piece of bread and they said that uh his favorite items were packets of oatmeal brown maple and brown sugar oatmeal their chicken ramen noodles bottled water
Starting point is 02:24:21 and snickers bars and they said he keeps his cell clean and well maintained they uh one inspection found that he had quote an excessive amount of linen was obvious in the report and they led they confiscated six extra pillowcases 14 extra sheets five extra towels and three extra pants why does he have so much he's getting comfy yeah he doesn't want to need it just in case i have no idea uh They also placed him in protected custody where he spent 23 hours a day. So he was having a problem with that. And he then wrote, he said, quote, it was wreaking havoc on his psyche, his lawyers were saying. He said, I'm just hoping this time doesn't have an effect on my job. Out of 168 hours in a week, I only get five hours out of my cell.
Starting point is 02:25:03 It's just not right. I have not committed a felony, so why am I being treated like a murderer or a child predator? My time, my mind is not the same. I've lost weight and I'm stressed out and I can't work out and I need some kind of exercise. I think that's jail. He's saying, I don't like jail,
Starting point is 02:25:18 which I think there's probably a bunch of people that are like, me neither. I've lost weight. Think about what you're eating, man. You're eating ramen noodles and Snickers. in that no empty calories he also records show that mayweather was disciplined uh for quote borderline threatening an officer suspect uh and suspected of paying off other inmates he uh it's amazing he tried to threaten somebody he also here was uh june 12 2012 he asked to serve the rest of his sentence on house arrest it's like i've been here a week that's enough right i can clearly go home now clearly
Starting point is 02:25:50 i've done my time i've learned my lesson here tenants paid oh yeah that he had a doctor come and all this type of shit and come in and say that it was tearing down his muscle thing and it could he could be done with his whole career this could ruin him uh so the judge said while the physical training areas and times provided to mayweather may not be consistent with his prior regimen he has indeed provided sufficient space and time for physical activity if he so chooses the court finds the alleged dehydration of the defendant to be self induced as the water is made available to him 24 hours a day the court further finds the estimated intake of only 800 calories per day is also self-induced as defendant chooses not to eat the food provided.
Starting point is 02:26:28 You're in prison, dickhead. Another one here. A month after this, July 12th, an issue arose. Apparently, he'd been given, apparently it was discovered that he'd been given two hours of free time instead of one. The officer who named in the reports was named Snowden. He apparently did this. He was discussing the matter with another officer
Starting point is 02:26:47 and that's when Mayweather, quote, started to, quote, yell out of his cell as he butted into our conversation. So this Snowden walked over to Mayweather's cell to speak with him. He said, he looked me in the eye
Starting point is 02:26:59 and told me that when he gets out of jail, he won't forget me. He told the officer this uh he said mayweather the officer said it sounded like a threat and mayweather said i didn't say i was gonna hurt you did i and that was that and then he said to him quote without a badge you aren't tough it would be uh it would be different between us if you didn't have that badge on and then he said you're a pussy at the snowden guy. In response, Snowden took away Mayweather's hour of free time for a day. And he wrote that it was borderline threatening me and being verbally abusive.
Starting point is 02:27:32 Mayweather then told me I had a black heart for taking his time away. You threatened him and called him a pussy. Black heart. He called me a pussy. You're not nice. So August 3rd, 2012, he's released from jail. 30 days off for work time and good behavior. Sounds like he was a dickhead the whole time.
Starting point is 02:27:51 I guess you can receive up to 10 days off per month for cooperating and work or being or willing to work, whatever. So his lawyers and personal physicians said, oh, my God, he's been, you know, he's decimated this way. He's never gonna walk again okay bring out the wheelchair for him this poor man jesus christ here tom cruise and days of thunder oh bring him out come on uh he's picked up by 50 cent uh-huh of course yeah it picks him up from jail so really oh yeah picked him up from jail he was with a bentley i think uh september
Starting point is 02:28:22 9 2012 this is one month after he gets out of jail. Learned his fucking lesson. Melissa Brim. Remember her? Oh, my God. From back in the first one. She's still around. Of car door to the forehead fame.
Starting point is 02:28:33 Right. She calls police at 2 a.m. to report that she's been in a verbal altercation with Mayweather. And by the time they arrived, he had already fled the property. He's gone. Yeah. She declined to press charges. But she also lives in a house owned by Mayweather. Again, because they have kids together, too. So, September 2012, Josie forgives him for now.
Starting point is 02:28:55 Okay. Now, all of a sudden, it's fine. Yeah. And she'll change her mind. She says, quote, shit happens. I'm not mad at him at all. I love Floyd to death. Floyd loves his kids and is a great father. He would never do anything like that again. I'm sorry mad at him at all. I love Floyd to death. Floyd loves his kids and is a great father.
Starting point is 02:29:05 He would never do anything like that again. I'm sorry the situation happened. Now we will just progress and start over and move forward together. How much money does it take? Wow. How many fucking how many carrots would that be? Jesus Christ, man. He also goes back to dad as a trainer now.
Starting point is 02:29:20 Okay. Back to dad. This is the first time that his dad's gonna train him in 13 years may of 2013 um he people think it's because he ended up with a bloody nose in the miguel cotto fight and he thought his defense wasn't up to snuff he needed his dad for his defense so may 4 2013 he fights robert the ghost to guerrero and that's a unanimous decision 44-0 this makes 60 million on pay-per-view not too shabby does he get a chunk of that shit?
Starting point is 02:29:48 oh fuck yeah huge chunk cause he's the guy driving it he gets a huge chunk of it he made a fortune off of that fuck yeah he makes a ton September 14th 2013 at the MGM versus Canelo Alvarez great fighter there 42-0-1
Starting point is 02:30:04 coming in 53-1-1 coming in. Fucking A. 53-1-2 for his career. Jesus. His one loss right now. Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather. This is it.
Starting point is 02:30:12 A decision loss, 45-0. This one, 2.2 million pay-per-view buys, 150 million in pay-per-view revenue. Jesus. Holy shit. This is when afterwards, he got $40 million for this fight. I know that because he posted a check of that, his check from that fight.
Starting point is 02:30:30 And he also showed an ESPN reporter a receipt from his bank account that shows he had $123 million in the bank at that point. Not bad for there. Now, late 2013, Jackson here, Chantelle jackson they split up in 2013 she said she got fed up with his rampant infidelity which is uh yeah so what he does is he displays uh tries to humiliate her in any way possible gets bad pictures of her puts them up online uh tells everyone that he paid for her plastic surgery and claims that he wants his money back because, quote, I'm an Indian giver. He says that. And I'm 11.
Starting point is 02:31:14 And I'm 11. And those are the insults that I flank. I learned that on the playground right before I dropped out. He made a public spectacle of taking back gifts from her, a Hermes handbag, extravagant jewelry, and would laugh at her for having financial difficulties. He also took down her Instagram page because he helped her set it up. So then she created a new page and said that the old one, quote, got erased by a jealous person who spent money to get it done all because I said no. So then at one point here, she is reported to be dating nelly the rapper yeah okay mayweather loses his fucking mind can't be fucking nelly even though i don't we're not
Starting point is 02:31:53 together i fuck other women and i'm a total dick and i took all your shit away from you so uh what he does is he would just be a dick online what he did after he heard that is he posted on Facebook a picture of a sonogram image of what he said were two fetuses that she aborted. Oh, my God. He says, quote, the real reason me and Chantel Christine Jackson at Miss Jackson broke up was because she got an abortion. And I'm totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies.
Starting point is 02:32:25 Wow. And then he deleted the post post but then said it was true how much do you hate nelly you know jesus christ it's not that fucking hot motherfucker keep your fucking pants on 2012 she probably has more money than nelly at this point. That's what I'm saying. Who cares? Then he fights 2014. He fights Marcos El Chino Maidana, who's 35 and 3. Decision win, 46 and 0, $58 million. He then talks about Ray Rice punching his wife in the elevator. He's got an opinion? Oh, he's got an opinion.
Starting point is 02:33:00 He says, quote, I think there's a lot worse things that go on in other people's households also. an opinion he says quote i think there's a lot worse things that go on in other people's households also he said uh he said that uh the ray rice suspension should not have increased because of the video he said just because it's not caught just because other stuff's not caught on video it's safe to say that are you a fucking yeah no oh boy he goes i want to be caught on if i what if i get caught on video punching a woman he doesn't get that the punishment increased because ray denied it. And then when he found out there was video evidence, he was like, oh, yeah, I told you. Oh, yeah, I did that.
Starting point is 02:33:29 Yeah. Oh, I thought I did. I was restraining her. It was the problem. She's on drugs, Your Honor. Restrain that. Restrain that woman. She's on drugs.
Starting point is 02:33:39 Oh, my God. I want to punch Floyd in the face. Oh, do you wish he could kick his ass? I wish I could beat the fuck out of him. Don't you? Oh, my God. I wish I was a trained face. Oh, do you wish he could kick his ass? I wish I could beat the fuck out of him. Don't you? Oh, my God. I wish I was a trained fighter. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:33:48 I'm the best ever. Jesus, I want to fucking pummel him. Silly. Just hit him in the back of the head. Yeah. It's fair for him. Why not? Fuck him.
Starting point is 02:33:54 His back is turned. So, Jesus. Watch out, Floyd. Fuck, man. Unbelievable. What a dick. September 13, 2014. Rematch against Maidana.
Starting point is 02:34:04 He wins again. 47 a dick. September 13, 2014, rematch against Maidana. He wins again, 47-0. And October 31, 2014, De'Veon Cromwell, who is Melissa Brim's son, okay? Melissa Brim's son shares a condo with his sister, Ayana, who they all live there in a condo that he pays for. And it's owned by Floyd. Floyd pays for it. Melissa lives there with her son and her daughter. That is both of theirs. Who is now damn near fucking 20.
Starting point is 02:34:31 She's 20 now. She's 20 now. She's 14 at this point. Cromwell, the stepson, was having a party at the house when Floyd popped up and ordered everyone out. Doesn't live there, by the way, Floyd. Doesn't live there at all. Cromwell apparently said, you're not my father,
Starting point is 02:34:47 and Mayweather put him in a headlock. And apparently, the report says, quote, involved, quote, I've never heard a headlock put into such technical terms before. One arm encircled around the neck, causing cardioid and venous decompression, and the other arm on the back of the head
Starting point is 02:35:03 applying downward pressure. You know, a headlock with noogie application, it sounded like, and the other arm on the back of the head applying downward pressure you know a headlock with noogie application it sounded like from the other hand so they asked him whether he's going to press charges he says he's unsure whether he wants to press charges because he financially supports me is what the kid said so i really don't want to so he has a year because his track record is he's you say no, I lose everything. Everything, or he's going to be mean or be horrible. February 2015, he's scheduled to do dinner and nightclub appearances in Sydney, Australia on January 29th and 30th, later delayed to February 5th and 6th. It got delayed because the Australians weren't sure they wanted to let him in because of his record, and then they finally said, fuck you.
Starting point is 02:35:43 We're not giving you a visa. You fucking cunt. Really? Fuck off giving you a visa you fucking cunt really fuck off fuck off you fucking cunt sent him right away they didn't accept it my man i love you australia fuck yeah no australia for you woman beater our women aren't safe with you around i'm gonna beat all the koalas can't have it uh so that's amazing how great is that uh they denied it oh man that's beautiful that's the first time he's been told no that's yeah it's great great we don't want you here money or not fuck you uh then the pacquiao fight is set okay it's set for 2015 during the press conference may mother way mayweather was asked about what he taught his children about the value of money
Starting point is 02:36:24 he responded by saying that he was bothered that he could not see these three children that he had with Josie and implied that it was her fault. He said, quote, I love my children. It's been bothering me a lot that three of them I haven't been able to see. That's bothering me a lot because you know how women are sometimes. No. You know how they are when you beat the shit out of them in their own home for no reason you know how they get it's crazy they just get upset about it i don't know why it's how many
Starting point is 02:36:49 kids has he got i don't fucking at least three or four at least four and paying for at least five and who the hell knows on the side who knows how many god damn it because he likes to fuck he gets his fuck on uh may 2nd 2015 the, the big Pacquiao fight. This was the fight of the century. Everybody built it as. Everybody wanted to see it. It was very interesting. It turned out to be a complete dud of Pacquiao wanting to knock him out, but never being able to find an entrance into his defense. And that's how it worked.
Starting point is 02:37:18 Pacquiao was 57-5-2. This was a unanimous decision for Mayweather. He really just pointed him the whole time. 4.6 million pay-per-view buys. Wow. $400 million pay-per-view revenue. What the shit? 400.
Starting point is 02:37:33 That's why they kept fighting for that fight. For people to watch. $400 million. Unbelievable. That's why. May 6, 2015, a few days later, two men who watched the fight filed a class action lawsuit against pacquiao alleging that pacquiao and his handlers failed to disclose the fighter's shoulder injury because remember he came out he said he hurt his shoulder and uh so made the fight not
Starting point is 02:37:57 worth watching there's people watching it yeah they're seeking it's a class action they're trying whoever wants to join can join they're $5 million. Two dicks are pissed. I want my pay-per-view money back. So, I mean, Jesus Christ. Even this guy. I feel bad for these guys. They spent money. I didn't buy that fight for $100.
Starting point is 02:38:13 Fuck that. But, I mean, what about his kids, though? Floyd's kids. I feel bad for his son. I feel bad for Cromwell. He got put in a headlock. It's not even his kid. I feel bad for all these people, Jimmy.
Starting point is 02:38:23 But not nearly as bad as I feel. How many are there? Not a lot. All of them are all different Floyd Mayweather incarnations, except for Floyd Mayweather, stock broker at the Scherzen Group in Bayside, New York. He's got 38 connections. He's really
Starting point is 02:38:39 a stock broker. Yeah, he's doing it. He's like, no, I didn't. No, I didn't hit my wife. No, that's not the guy. So if you need stock advice, try Floyd Mayweather. He might be good. I'm not sure, but he definitely didn't do... He's not this Floyd Mayweather. May 2015
Starting point is 02:38:55 here, Josie Harris sues Mayweather for $20 million for defamation, claiming that he lied during an interview with Katie Couric. Mayweather knowingly and maliciously lied about his beating of Harris, disclaiming any responsibility for the attack and Harris's resulting serious injuries. Instead, Mayweather pointed his finger at Harris, labeling her as a drug user
Starting point is 02:39:15 and an aggressor who led the world-class boxer to have to restrain. So that's what it is. Yeah, it's at this point, she says, Jos says they don't. She doesn't see him really anymore. She has four kids. He's father of three of them. She says occasionally she'll collect her children in person. But more often than not, they use a trans. They transporting using the jet service that he uses the private jet service.
Starting point is 02:39:40 She says she's happy with that. She says, quote, it means I don't have to take Xanax before he comes. Otherwise, I'll be sweating bullets. For some reason, I still get anxiety when I know that he's happy with that. She says, quote, it means I don't have to take Xanax before he comes. Otherwise, I'll be sweating bullets. For some reason, I still get anxiety when I know that he's on the way. I have no idea why, but I get really overwhelmed when I know I have to be around him. Baby, that's called PTSD. Yeah, that's what that is. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 02:39:56 Oh, my God. She said, I was a battered woman. I felt embarrassed about saying I was a battered woman. I felt shame. Yeah, I know I was in a dysfunctional. That's crazy. Yeah, fuck, man know i was in a dysfunctional that's it's crazy yeah fuck man you were in a controlled environment constantly you didn't get to have any no basically we're in truman show that's it truman got punched every day and told and told he's in the fucking
Starting point is 02:40:16 show you're not allowed to go outside those fucking walls pal how dare you talk to someone on the outside your life is fucked up josie yeah, she wrote a book and she says, quote, with time comes wisdom. I hope his lessons aren't too harsh as he does have a good heart. So she's trying to do that. She says that Mayweather sees his relationship with women as ownership. She claims that Mayweather would pick out the clothes he wanted her to wear during the relationship, would routinely scan her cell phone to see who she was talking to and convinced her that he was quote my only friend the grossest disgusting when i was in it i didn't realize that i was like yeah you are my only friend we are a ride or die team and now i'm like no i shouldn't have been isolated from my
Starting point is 02:40:56 family and friends of course not there were the threats after he would do something that would be inappropriate feeling like he could make up for it by buying me a pair of shoes and a handbag uh he says yeah and then she says yeah i would like to have a private jet i only i have only got one car but it fits all of us and it gets us around it's a nice safe vehicle and i wouldn't trade going back into an abusive situation to be able to fly on private jets and run around with a hermes bag and nice shoes i'd rather be barefooted on the beach in a tent good for fucking you. She met him when she was 17. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:41:27 She didn't, you know what I mean? She didn't want to be better. Yeah, that's what I mean. This is an unbelievable life to her at 17. Yeah, and then he will later on compare women to cars. She says, quote, when he compares women to cars, it's gross. I wonder when he lays his head on his pillow at night, does he ever think, you know, I've got an 11-year-old beautiful little girl that's going to grow up and start dating men.
Starting point is 02:41:46 Do I want her to start dating men like me? Yeah, I would say. Then she says, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a dick. I have forgiven him. I'm over it. You called him a dick? A dick. This is great.
Starting point is 02:41:59 He's a dick. I have forgiven him. I'm over it. I did my shit. I hit him over the head with a Tonka truck when he when I found out he was cheating on me we had a pretty volatile relationship anyone who knows us knows that for him to put another ring on a on another chick's finger then comes over to my house to try to control me who I'm having sex with I mean that's just him she ain't the only
Starting point is 02:42:20 one that's got a ring he's the ring master there's a couple people that's got a ring he's just about to get uh he's just about to get that life i didn't deserve the abuse my kids didn't deserve to see that we've gotten into it uh before but it was mostly uh but it was most disturbing that my son had to get help for me because i had no idea how long it was going to last floyd's biatch ass friend was watching the whole time as he put his hands on me he even tried to block my kid from leaving that's McNair she is awesome I love her Floyd's a dick and he's got a biatch ass friend his biatch ass friend McNair over there Floyd says wow quote when it comes to females even though you can't drive 10 cars at one time, but you got people that got 10 cars, so you're able to keep maintenance up on 10 cars.
Starting point is 02:43:09 So I feel that as far as when it comes to females, the same thing should apply. If you're able to take care of 20, then you should have 20. What? That's what he says. Oh, my God. And when you call them females, you're a weirdo. Allowed and in public. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 02:43:21 All them females. Allowed. You're a weirdo. Allowed and in public. Oh, boy. Rhonda Rousey at this point wins like a fighter of the year award. And she talks all sorts of shit. She did. She says, quote, I wonder how Floyd would feel about being beat by a woman for once.
Starting point is 02:43:35 I'd like to see you pretend to not know who I am now. Then she says, I would never say that I can't beat anyone. I don't think me and him would ever fight unless we ended up dating, though. That's a great joke. Yeah. Because that's probably true. And also, he'd beat the living shit out of you, Rhonda. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:43:53 That's a don't. I'm all for it. They weigh about the same. Right. If she weighed 220 and had her skills, I'd say she'd fucking crush him. Yeah. They're the same size. In a UFC fight?
Starting point is 02:44:04 Yeah. But in a boxing ring? No. Don't be ridiculous. In a UFC fight, she'd fucking crush him. But they're the same size. In a UFC fight? Yeah. But in a boxing ring? No. Don't be ridiculous. In a UFC fight, she'd rip him apart. She's an idiot if she thinks she can box him. Yeah, that's not going to work. Yeah, no one can box him.
Starting point is 02:44:13 That's the problem. Right. September 12, 2015, everyone wanted the Pacquiao rematch, and he fights Andre Berto instead, who's 30 and 3. It's a unanimous decision win. Only $28 million. Yeah, because nobody gave a shit. No one cares.
Starting point is 02:44:26 August 2017, he's on Jimmy Kimmel. Okay? Dude, I like Jimmy Kimmel. We like Jimmy Kimmel. We really do. He's one of the better TV guys. Yeah, absolutely. He's the best interview in that department.
Starting point is 02:44:37 And also, I think even things like The Man Show, which seems like this immature thing, was really smart in its immaturity. It was funny. It was funny and it was very good yeah it was he's a smart guy so good that joe rogan and doug stanhope didn't understand what was so good about it yeah they fucking ruined it yeah they they take carolin and jimmy out of there and that's it it was it was because they were buddies and they were doing the show together yeah so he's on there um he talks he invites i wouldn't have him on my show though
Starting point is 02:45:06 at this point but they do they talk for 12 months 12 minutes about boxing and money what year this is 2017 2017 jimmy kimmel's willing to discuss life with this piece of shit uh yeah uh he says the only time that uh here kimmel asked him about uh mayweather's he got a strip club now yeah in vegas that's what he's promoting. Yeah. And Floyd said, quote, I got into the strip club business because I knew breasts, the vagina, alcohol and music would never go out of style. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:45:34 And yeah, that's that's on television on TV, on ABC, on a national network. And Jimmy Kimmel. He laughed. He laughed. He laughed and they went to commercial. We'll be right back. That's exactly what he did. Oh, Floyd. good to have you.
Starting point is 02:45:46 Floyd. We got more right after this. We got some assistance you can punch back there if you want. I got some sisters and aunts and shit. I mean, you can knock them around, I guess. I don't know. Right after these words from Taylor Carolla. My mom's still alive.
Starting point is 02:45:56 Yeah. Wow. August 26, 2017. Jesus, Jimmy. Come on, man. Oh, boy. T-Mobile Arena. This is the big Conor McGregor fight
Starting point is 02:46:05 This was a Societal What year was this? This was 2017 So that's probably What he was promoting Yeah that's what he was promoting Was that
Starting point is 02:46:11 And a strip club So Jimmy wanted to talk About a strip club And this thing And this thing So he fights McGregor This was so recently Everybody remembers
Starting point is 02:46:20 Huge hype It was dumb A lot of shit talking There was no doubt That Mayweather was going To point the fuck out of him. There was no reason to talk about this. He's just going to walk around and tap him until he decides to quit. And it's a TKO in 10 rounds.
Starting point is 02:46:32 Floyd wins, and he's 50-0. This fight has 4.3 million pay-per-view buys for $370 million. I'm shocked that that's all it was. His pay-per-view fights here that are like his the main event 23 million 959 000 buys for 1 billion 667 million 940 thousand dollars almost two billion a billion and two-thirds floyd mayweather is a almost two billion dollar enterprise for pay-per-view alone pay-per-view alone that's fucking crazy um yeah july to that he has after this they're estimating probably about 450 million dollars right now floyd by far the richest of the crime and sports athletes that he's made
Starting point is 02:47:16 yeah we've never covered anyone with this kind of money before they they had 100 million and lost it but we've never covered anyone who's sitting atop it yeah so you know what this is a great target a woman beating asshole who's sitting atop a fucking a pile of money right target practice bitches this is great fuck him the joker sliding down that mob money yeah in uh the dark night it's like scrooge mcduck yeah so uh july 2018 california court rules a defamation suit against Floyd can go forward. This was a complaint alleged at Mayweather's statement during a TV interview. This is
Starting point is 02:47:52 the Josie thing. As she said, it'll affect her professionally and personally. As an aspiring television personality and author, Harris would become unemployable and unpublishable. In response, he filed one of those anti-slap motions to get rid of frivolous lawsuits, but that isn't really a frivolous lawsuit.
Starting point is 02:48:11 He says that she tested positive for marijuana and other drugs and opiates. She says that she had medical marijuana, Welbutrin and Xanax and Vicodin that she had a prescription for, and she said it doesn't matter because she wasn't the aggressorx and Vicodin that she had a prescription for. Right. And she said it doesn't matter because she wasn't the aggressor fucking anyway. She needs that shit to deal with you. That's the thing. That's crazy. That's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 02:48:33 That's fucking wild. So that's still going on. Then in July of 2018, he's now not friends with 50 Cent. No. Now they're having a huge social media beef. Yeah. Fighting back and forth
Starting point is 02:48:45 talking 50 cents talking shit about him beating up women and also saying he doesn't know how to read oh they're burning shit yeah said he was illiterate yeah which may or may not be true we're not sure we have no way of knowing i hope it's true as fuck yeah i feel like i feel like maybe i've never seen him with a book in his hand we'll put it that way but i mean that's i haven't seen a lot of people with a book in his hand. We'll put it that way. But I mean, that's I've seen a lot of people with a book in their hands. So I don't know. Also, 50 is rumored to be super broke. And and then people say that Floyd has to be super broke because they both spend money.
Starting point is 02:49:12 Yeah. Fucking. That's the problem. Right. They keep making money. Floyd made one hundred and fifty million dollars from that McConnell McGregor fight. Did he really? It's one hundred fifty million dollar payday for him.
Starting point is 02:49:23 That was his payday. So what the fuck does he care if he spends money? He can go buy a shitload of Bentleys. He won't even notice it. And he's James undefeated. Undefeated. He's 50 and 0. He's, as far as I know, him and Rocky Marciano are the two guys to retire undefeated champions.
Starting point is 02:49:38 And Rocky was heavyweight champion, which was different. But, I mean, Marciano was a guy who didn't start boxing until he was an adult. He was a guy who literally just was the guinea with the hardest head in America. He lowered his head and dropped bombs on you until you got tired of punching him, and eventually it was over. That was what he did. Mayweather is the most skilled fighter and different thing. So, 2018, September, he says in a video that he's going to fight in japan uh at this point here is that where he is well he went and did some exhibition thing against the japanese uh it's the ryzen fighting federation
Starting point is 02:50:12 in japan and it was a undefeated kickboxer named tension uh nasukawa nasukawa it was at rising 14 uh there was specific there was i don't even know the fucking rules here but floyd said it wasn't easy to make this happen but we told the people anything's possible so now we're here we want to make sure that we give the people in tokyo what they want to see blood sweat and tears and then he said they wouldn't be fighting and then he said it would be a thing for a small group of wealthy spectators some yakuza fucking oh boy showing i don't know what the fuck it was there's a cockfight afterwards i don't know but he he ends up confirming an exhibition match was there uh the fight took place at the saitama super arena so not for a few people
Starting point is 02:50:56 in japan on december 31st and ended in a first round tko when nasa kawa's corner waved off the fight after he'd already been knocked down three times. Wow. Because he's a kickboxer, not a fucking boxer. Right. Jesus Christ, that's a very... People just stop. Just because you're good at something doesn't mean you're good at everything.
Starting point is 02:51:14 You can punch and kick. This is what I mean. And I'm not taking anything away from an MMA because if Mayweather got in an MMA ring, Conor McGregor would have ripped his head off. He would have killed him. That's how it works. But what he does, what Mayweather does, like michelangelo painting the sistine chapel it's
Starting point is 02:51:29 fucking art okay specific mcgregor has his own art that he does and he paints his sistine chapel but his punching is not art and the other part is that there are rules and regulations to the style that are the way you can the way that's the way you build your game around right and points because he was punching the back of the fucking head as can punch. That's the way you build your game around. Right. And Conor lost points because he was punching the back of the fucking head. As a puncher, he's a fucking house painter.
Starting point is 02:51:50 Yeah. As a puncher, he's just got a roller going up and down. You're not on the same level. You both use paint, but you're not the same fucking artist. That's the point of that.
Starting point is 02:51:59 It's in the elbow. It's in knowing how to do this shit. So, yeah, he beat the shit out of this guy. And that was that. The match drew controversial and condemnation and accusations of match fixing. Mayweather earned $9 million, though. That's all?
Starting point is 02:52:15 Yeah, I don't know. Why would he do that for $9 million? I have no fucking clue. A guy that makes $150 million beating the fuck out of Conor McGregor. Why don't you just set up another one of those? That's the thing. Who the hell out of Conor McGregor. Why don't you just set up another one of those? That's the thing. Who the hell knows? November 21st, 2019, this is very recently,
Starting point is 02:52:30 he indicated his next step would be collaboration with UFC. He said, Dana White and I are working together again to bring the world another spectacular event in 2020. Oh yeah, Dana,
Starting point is 02:52:40 tell us how you don't allow your fucking fighters to be scumbags again. Again, tell us again. Preach to us about how you get- Preach, you fucking hypocritical- All these moral men. The silverest of the silver-haired middle-aged white men is Dana White.
Starting point is 02:52:53 He makes Vince McMahon look like a fucking upstanding individual. It's insane already. Oh, Dana. Stop it, Dana White. You love money, you fucking idiot. Jesus fucking- Just say it. Just say, I love money.
Starting point is 02:53:06 I don't care about morals. I love money jesus fucking just say it you say i love money i don't care about morals i love money this comes a couple days after he seemingly said he liked to be retired so then he was saying this to go hey you never know because a couple days before that he said i've got calls to come back to the ring but my health is my wealth and boxing is a very very brutal sport in the last few years a lot of fighters have died because of that squared circle uh he said you know uh you have to know when to hang it up i've had a great career so he like i said generated all that money and all this fucking revenue and he's sitting on top of the world right now on top of a pile of money no one can touch him does whatever he wants he's controlling god knows how many people normally when we do these episodes this is all past they've done time or they've broken down they're not they're broke now they have no more control over people everything we fucking said could still be happening we don't know obviously alleged whatever the fuck
Starting point is 02:53:53 it's that he's really still has a shit pile of money and that's how he was able to control so many young girls this guy has as much money as he wants i'm not saying he's controlling young girls but i'm just saying anything's possible. Anything's possible. Can't get enough of Floyd Mayweather? Well, you won't because he'll be out there. You're never going to get rid of him. He's going to be around.
Starting point is 02:54:12 As long as Dana White loves money. Yeah. And there's also the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation where he says it takes immense pride in the establishment of our amateur boxing program. It's an amateur boxer. Listen to this. It's established in the establishment of an, our amateur boxing program. It's an amateur boxer. Listen to this. It's established in the summer of 2015 was created to positively impact young
Starting point is 02:54:30 men and women by developing their skills, physically build character and strengthen their mental ability. And also teach women how to hopefully fight back against people like you. They're going to get beat, right? Everyone beats the shit. I mean, you beat your wife.
Starting point is 02:54:44 We all beat them. So they're going to know how, right? Everyone beats the shit out of them. I mean, you beat your wife. We all beat them, so they're going to know how to win. But if it's anything like his other foundations, he donates upwards of $600 a year to it. I mean, it could be anywhere from there to there. So it'll fortify the skills of technique, safety, physical condition, mentorship, character development,
Starting point is 02:54:59 self-discipline and self-confidence, and work ethic and healthy relationships. He's the one you want for healthy relationships. He donates uh tooth fairy money yeah that's it and that my friends is Floyd Mayweather jr got it in under three hours that was going to be a tough one that could have been a five-hour show he sucks yeah that could have been if I left there's stuff you couldn't do everything there's so much more in there that we just can't get to or like literally been a five-hour show makes you not want the guy to be successful no i want him to get knocked out so fucking bad i used to have this joke and it was a great joke and floyd ruins the joke for me because
Starting point is 02:55:33 it was a good joke for me i'm not saying it's a great joke but i enjoyed telling it where i would say i like boxing because it's the only place in the world where you can watch a loudmouth, arrogant millionaire run his mouth for three months and then get to watch someone punch him in the face for an hour. How often does that happen? Yeah. How many politicians have you heard yap and yap? You never see them get punched in the face.
Starting point is 02:55:57 Not for an hour. You know what I mean? Like the whole thing. This guy ruins it. There's only one R. Bud Dwyer. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. You never get to see him.
Starting point is 02:56:05 And even he was vindicated afterwards. Whatever politician you hate, imagine that you had to hear them. You're like, oh, this one. But then at the end, like twice a year, someone punches him in the face for an hour. Wouldn't that be great?
Starting point is 02:56:18 That's what I'm saying. This is, this is, but we don't even get, no one ever has gotten a clean shot in on him. He's like Emmett Smith. Right. Like no one ever tackled him hard you're like well someone crushed that motherfucker
Starting point is 02:56:27 stop him from running someone catch him slipping or his hands fall and then just knock the fuck out of him someone leonard marshall to joe montana him that was finally we got him finally so uh yes if you like that show about floyd mayweather please please get on apple podcasts and tell us about it. Tell us. Give us five stars. Tell us you're following instructions, following directions. You're in the trunk and you're scared of Floyd Mayweather.
