Starting point is 00:00:00 Good night, good night, good night, good night. You had to wake my ass up. I know, I know. I know the street got to continue. I know. I'm going to be a little bit low energy, but we're going to get into it. Sorry. Sorry for the lateness.
Starting point is 00:00:15 I've been, I'll tell you why I'm late today. Let me just get all platforms. Okay. I think we're good here. We're good here. Yeah, welcome, guys. I know. I probably shouldn't drink because if I'm a little tired.
Starting point is 00:00:39 drinking puts me to sleep. I ain't going on. But maybe for at least an hour to get an little energy spark. Only got like one swig of Cosmigos. No, no, I've been running on like about... I keep telling you guys, no matter how late I get off stream,
Starting point is 00:00:57 I wake up about 8 o'clock. So when I get off the stream at 5 o'clock, I get 3 hours of sleep. Like, it's impossible for me to sleep till noon. It just doesn't... I've never slept... Like a late day will be... 10 o'clock. But I can't, I've kind of like trained myself with the mentality of if I'm
Starting point is 00:01:18 competing with everybody in the world, only bum-ass thing is get up at noon, even on a Saturday. So I get up no matter what. If I've drank, if I stay up late, I usually get up around like eight, maybe nine at times, a lot of times seven. On a Mondays, I like get up on seven. And if I'm really super tired, 10 so 10's like a late day for me anyway so that's my sleep schedule if you guys are wondering like damn where this motherfuck been i've been on three hours of sleep for like the last couple of days and then i figured i'd nap before i got on stream tonight and yeah i slept a little bit right so good regards for goodness still getting the stream today and welcome everybody from our respective platforms he's also trying to find some interest i was doing a lot of research today trying to find some
Starting point is 00:02:06 really dope shit to talk about you know we're kind of in this like media circus where where, you know, repeatedly, I feel like these days, you know, just like back in, and I know somebody I'm like, here this nigga go on a tangent, just do the topics and shut the fuck up. But, I mean, in 2014, I remember thinking, damn, how do I separate myself from these motherfuckers? And for me, it was like, you know, let's go above and beyond. Let's go find the indictments. Let's go read actually through it. Let's figure out the story beyond the story.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Let's get in depth. I think that's always done me well, you know. And I feel like now we're kind of getting to like the same place. Like we're pretty much everybody's like reactionist. Like we're all reactors. So we basically just wait until something happened and then everybody reacts. So like, I don't know. Let's say Nickymanage goes off on Jay-Z.
Starting point is 00:03:03 You basically go on YouTube and you hear everybody talk about it, right? Like here, here's Joe Button's take on it. Here's Charlemagne's take on it. Here's academics take on it. Here's no, there's no jumper talk about music still? I don't know. Not this to them, but I know they talk about a lot of gang stuff. But everybody just reacts, and I'm like, even though still, I mean, I'm talking about some of the top echelon people in the business.
Starting point is 00:03:28 You always got to separate yourself, right? So, you know, oftentimes I'm trying to create new stories or different angles that at least I'm the only one talking about. And that's really a key to any creator. You'll never stick out. But the reason why people love mentioning the Warren Shirek is that that was the different thing that I started doing that wasn't like everybody else. Everybody was talking about Kanye and Drake. I was too. But nobody was talking about Chicago.
Starting point is 00:03:55 So you got to be the guy who's just talking about some other shit. That's how you break through the noise, right? That's a little tip for everybody who wants to get up in the content game. If everybody's doing this, you should do it too. But also do some other shit that nobody's though. And that thing is going to be the thing that, you know, people kind of recognize you for because, they get bored to the monotonous stuff.
Starting point is 00:04:15 So anyway, welcome. I do want to start off today after I take the shot. Everybody want to take a shout with me? We're going to start off with a little bit of business talk. And I know, it's late. So maybe I should just give you out of drama
Starting point is 00:04:32 to keep y'all up. But I kind of pride myself in thinking that you guys are some of the smartest people that watch me. Also, I was reading comments this morning. I do want to say if you guys can't catch
Starting point is 00:04:46 the entire stream or you do catch snippets of this on YouTube. Someone asks me, hey, act, you should put this up on Spotify. It's very important that I show you that it's already on Spotify, but how to get it. I understand that because it's not under like maybe a familiar name or you don't see a familiar picture with it,
Starting point is 00:05:03 you might not realize that every stream gets published to Spotify, Apple Music, it gets published in podcast format. Okay? So if you guys don't like watching, you know, in post on YouTube, or coming back to kick or whatever, a rumble, you guys could absolutely load this up on a streaming platform and listen, earphones, whatever, right?
Starting point is 00:05:28 And it's a video, I believe. Yeah, it's up there as a video, so not just audio. So Spotify search. Let me see if I can just log in here. Yeah, if you guys get on Spotify, right? All you got to do, it's uploaded under the Academy, okay? So you got to type in the academy and it's going to be a podcast. And I'm going to change this logo this week, actually, because I think this is why some people might not know that this is us.
Starting point is 00:06:00 This is kind of stock. This is like a cassette tape. Anybody remember cassette tapes? Yeah, so when you click here, every stream is there. Okay? Every stream is there. There's actually a chat nigger that we employ that do this for us. Okay?
Starting point is 00:06:15 and he uploads every single stream. I want to thank him. And, you know, you guys could watch the entire thing there each and every time. So if you guys didn't know, and it would look exactly the same on Spotify, I mean on Apple Podcasts, and also wherever you watch podcasts at. I think Google Play or Google Podcasts, I think it's antiquated now. All right. Yeah, other than that, you're going to hear me mention this quite often as well.
Starting point is 00:06:45 But I do want to make sure the awareness is up. This is an event that's going down really mostly for our community. I have announced that tickets for our first live show is on sale. Okay? And I want you guys to hurry up and go get those. I think we're kind of almost like halfway through VIP tickets already. And it launched today. So we're doing a show in Miami.
Starting point is 00:07:13 You know, the more I looked at this picture, someone says, Zach, this don't look too much like you. I don't know. Our graphic editor gave me this. I wasn't like, yo, I don't look pretty enough. What the fuck? Who cares? I do look like Rod Wave a little bit.
Starting point is 00:07:26 It's like me and Rod Wave a little bit. It's all good. He sells tickets. Fuck it. But if you guys do go here, oh, why can I get it? I got to put this in my bio, whatever. Where's the link? Okay, anyway, there are tickets available on Eventbrite for our Miami show.
Starting point is 00:07:42 So please, if you guys do want to, um, come to the show March 27th in Miami. Tickets are out now. You guys could go to my personal Instagram, actually even main Instagram, and you will see it's in the story. There's a swipe-up link. You guys could buy a regular ticket.
Starting point is 00:08:01 There's a meet-and-grit option. Obviously, I would love to meet and greet everybody, but, you know, we have a limited time. We have to do a show as well. So you guys go do what you got to do. Okay, I'll keep you guys. We'll keep talking about the show to make sure you guys are aware.
Starting point is 00:08:14 All right. Any more housekeeping things I have to get to. Uh, anything else? Not sure. Okay. We'll get to as we get there. But we'll kind of do a soft launch today, right?
Starting point is 00:08:33 We'll do a soft launch. I like that. I like that term a soft launch. Uh, and, and we're going to talk a little bit of business, right? Let's start off with business. and then let's kind of get into some other stuff.
Starting point is 00:08:49 And we're kind of starting with pretty much the story of TikTok, okay? And chat, unbeknownst to a lot of you guys, the app TikTok, which I believe is the most influential music app, and I don't even think it's only what I think, it's what I actually know. It's been the app that has been controlling the music industry in terms of the trends and songs that are discovered by, fans that algorithmically get steam and labels either look to sign the artist or look to profit
Starting point is 00:09:24 off those songs by putting them on DSPs or, you know, putting money behind them. There has been a lot of controversy around TikTok and I do want to summarize it, but I want to summarize it on the business level, right? And I often tell you guys, a lot of times we come on here, we talk about drama. It's amazing, right? But most of the drama is just like the lowbrow stuff that's really shaped by a lot of business stuff. If you don't understand the business when it comes to music, and I like the thing that if you guys are watching me, you're somewhat of a, you're an inside, inside baseball
Starting point is 00:09:54 guy. You like to really be the guy who knows the shit. You need to know the business and everything else would make sense, right? When you see some random bullshit and it might even be as bullshit as a rapper being unhappy, a rapper not dropping the music. If you understand the inside baseball shit going on, you'll always be fine. So there has been a deal to secure TikTok's life as a company within the United States. If you don't know the history of TikTok, TikTok was a social media company that was founded by a company called BiteDance, which is a Chinese company, right?
Starting point is 00:10:36 I'd like to put it on the screen when I'm talking about it. So a Chinese company called Bite Dance made TikTok. It surged to the top of the leaderboard, pretty much, essentially, as one of the most popular apps, but definitely the most popular app when it came to Gen Zier. So, you know, the youngest of kids, which a lot of people admit in music,
Starting point is 00:10:58 they control the trends, they make the dances. They pick TikTok as their app of choice. This would be where they would, you know, do challenges, make, you know, dances to songs. And quickly, it was realized that within the music industry, TikTok was very, very important in promoting music. I want to give you a quick history. Hopefully you guys are not bored.
Starting point is 00:11:22 I know it is late, but I do know you guys can watch this later, and I want you guys to have some real information. In the early days of TikTok, TikTok did what most companies do, even Twitch. They basically allow their users to do what they want to do. And oftentimes users want to make content, but also included music. Now, technically, you can't have people. using music because, you know, I've always told you the reason why independent labels don't
Starting point is 00:11:58 overrun major labels, they own catalog, right? So major labels always use catalog as their leverage, but TikTok and newer apps, they'll allow their audience to do whatever, which your audience is going to start using music because we listen to music all the time, right? It's not just we, everybody. However, it's not technically legal. Now, it's usually like this little song and dance because like the app will be like we're not telling them to do it. It's users generated content, right? It's like when YouTube, when the movie industry came at YouTube and YouTube said, well, we're not telling people to steal your movies. The people are doing it. It's not us. And then basically they came to eventually a Congress legal negotiated deal when there was actually
Starting point is 00:12:41 a law actually passed. It was called the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, which basically said that, hey, you know, because the movie industry wanted YouTube and all the other people to say, hey, you got my movie on there. What the fuck? You. we need billions of dollars. And YouTube was like, yo, we're not telling people to put up your movie
Starting point is 00:12:56 or steal parts of your TV show. What the heck? It's Johnny who has his phone. It's YouTube. It's his thing. Sue him, not us. The negotiated thing over time,
Starting point is 00:13:09 and obviously, you know, YouTube had to make sure that they could survive as a company because if they had to pay out for whatever user did, they would not exist. The lobby Congress,
Starting point is 00:13:18 ultimately, a law was passed. The digital millennial, Copyright Act, and that created a way where companies that felt infringed on, for example, the movie industry and others, they could actually have a law that would kind of be the framework of how they would deal with people infringed on their rights, right? So, for example, they could no longer sue YouTube directly as long as YouTube provided a way for them to
Starting point is 00:13:50 show that they were being serious about not allowing people to steal their shit. So, for example, you know, part of the, you know, for YouTube, YouTube would say, hey, if our users do this three times, we ban them for life. We delete their account. Hey, if you submit a takedown request, we'll put an automated thing on it. They have to respond or we take them down and we not only take them,
Starting point is 00:14:13 take their video down, we give them a strike, which is a punishment. that was something that was negotiated and understood and, you know, seeing the changing of technology, that became the thing, right? Why do I bring that up? Because these compromises oftentimes have to be struck for these companies to live, right? Imagine YouTube if, you know, literally you cannot use or react to anything, right? Or you can, you know, speak about something that's owned by Warner Brothers or Universal Pictures or whatever the case is, right? or Lionsgate.
Starting point is 00:14:48 But such is the case with TikTok. And even Twitch in this early state. I always told you why, remember I told you I had a deal with Twitch. And for them, they were trying to get a leverage. And I'm going to tell you what their fight was. So I told you kind of with YouTube and the music industry. They were like, well, not music industry. It was really the movie industry, right?
Starting point is 00:15:06 Yo, people are stealing our shit. They're like, yo, we're not doing it. It's not us doing it. And then also in that with the Copyright Act, they also created laws because there was a whole battle when it came to copyrights. It was also kind of established that certain things were protected under free speech, right? It was not necessarily infringement, but it was also you could create new content with old content.
Starting point is 00:15:34 And, you know, that's kind of the basis and the groundwork for fair use, right, which a lot of people use, right? So me reacting to someone's content, I'm not stealing necessarily. I'm protected on the fair use. So all those things kind of got figured out through courts, through lawsuits. It was a shit show, but it happened. What that means? Again, that's an analogy for me talking about TikTok. I'm telling you, Twitch also went through this.
Starting point is 00:16:02 But TikTok, when it starts getting really popular among teens, and it's now like searching up the charts, I remember it was like, you know, it was consecutively number one in the social media app, app category for like ages, the music industry says, whoa, if you guys remember an app called Triller, kids used to get on there
Starting point is 00:16:26 and just kind of like do dances or do whatever thing over music. Well, TikTok was like the better version of that, and it had this algorithm that's just unbeatable. You can't beat the TikTok algorithm. It's just the best. So the music industry comes in and they say, hold up now.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Your app is getting really popular. Your company is basically going up in value by the week. You're not going to build a billion dollar business off of our catalog without us getting a piece. Hand over the cash. At that time, the Chinese company BiteDance, who is the parent owner, the way how they make money from TikTok,
Starting point is 00:17:11 there's a different version of what we call TikTok in China. they didn't have a monetization strategy yet in the USA. So at first it was just to grow the app. You just want to get as many users on the app. So they didn't really have capital. So when the music companies are saying hand over the cash, they don't really got it unless you're going to, you know, kind of take their holdings from their other, you know,
Starting point is 00:17:38 business in China and do it. But they weren't trying to do that. I always told you guys this story, but everything makes sense. You know, you'll realize how bigger business affect every single decision. I can't remember what year it was. I can't remember what year it was, but through my entertainment lawyer, a good Jewish guy in L.A., he hit me up. He said, hey, listen, there's this company.
Starting point is 00:18:06 They want to have a meeting with you. Are you down to do it? I said, who? This is TikTok. He's like, they really like you. They want to have a meeting with you. At that time, I'm in and out of it. LA, you know, go there.
Starting point is 00:18:17 You know, there's a lot of business things, you know, you're kind of getting like shuffled around to people. You're like you're doing the meeting, meet, meet, meet, meeting. And you're hearing how everybody's interested in something that you've built that's worth something and they want to either get part of it or they want to, you know, that's how the game goes. And I'm taking all these meetings and I'm like, all right, fuck it. If they say I should meet with TikTok, let me meet with TikTok.
Starting point is 00:18:41 So I walk in and I go meet with TikTok. And I remember they gave me a really nice presentation. I went to Santa Monica. Was there headquarters at the time. And when I went there, they had a conversation
Starting point is 00:18:58 with me and they were like, hey, listen, we want you to come on to the platform. Their idea was this. Academics, you have this amazing brand. You're one of the leaders in media, independent media, but media for music. We see you on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:19:16 We see you. you on Twitter, we see you on YouTube, and at the time we see you on Twitch. We would love if you could bring your brand over here and establish your footprint. Now, I was kind of sitting there like, all right, I mean, that sounds like probably the thing I should be doing, but I'm like, I'm trying to get it, right? Now, in the meeting, I learned a few things. And this is why I said you have to understand big business to understand very small things, because the meeting with me, respectively,
Starting point is 00:19:49 it's not worth that much in the grand scheme of things of what we're talking about. By the way, you know, for my business people who like watching me, just listen to the story. I'll get to it, right? But everything makes sense. In the meeting, they tell me,
Starting point is 00:20:07 hey, we got some things to offer you. Now, I look over to my Jewish, my Jewish, entertainment lawyer and I said I knew you would take me to the money ha ha let's get to it now I didn't really necessarily go there for money but um it's LA
Starting point is 00:20:27 TikTok said the opposite they said um we can offer you a lot just not money I said okay that's confusing they said we feel that you might be someone
Starting point is 00:20:43 that might understand our vision more than others. And I said, okay, give me the pitch. They bring up another artist, which we will talk about later, in some drama shit, but they bring up an artist that at the time they were trying to recruit to TikTok.
Starting point is 00:21:03 By the way, I'm going to explain also in a few why they were trying to recruit people. The artist in question was blue-faced. They said, we had a meeting with Blueface. We wanted to recruit Blueface to TikTok. They said Blueface, I don't know if he took the meeting or how the correspondence went,
Starting point is 00:21:27 but Blueface basically told him, if you want me on here, pay me or shut the fuck up. Now, not in those words, but that was basically the conversation. Ultimately, when they told him they would not be able to pay, he says, deuce is. Now, Blueface was going pretty viral at that time,
Starting point is 00:21:43 if you want to match, you know, maybe what year this is. So they tell me you don't have money to offer, but they could offer other things. I'm like, what, what are these other things? And I'm going to be honest with you. I've always told you out this. And actually, I think me saying this kind of fucked me over too a bit because I've seen some shit that I've never seen before. So I never made a TikTok account. But I opened my phone in the meeting and I just made an account.
Starting point is 00:22:14 And I forgot it was like, you know, sometimes when you can't get the username, you just make some, suggest some other shit. And I made it right there. they said, okay, that's going to be your account. And I'm going to tell you the truth. I've never seen such a thing like this. Right in front of me across the desk, I see, they're on the computer. Someone had the original name academics. They kick the person off.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Literally. Delete your name. It's like, wow. That's kind of quick. I'm like, I'm talking to the person here. And then they literally tell me they said, this is what we're going to do. We want to encourage you to like be on the platform to post content. we are going to tweak what they call it to me was flipping a lever we're going to flip a lever
Starting point is 00:23:03 and it's going to make your visibility a thousand times they didn't give me a number they just said you're going to be focused on and you're going to gain an audience and I was like what are they talking about anyway I sat through the meeting and I want to tell you that the um I understood what they meant For the next seven days I went from zero followers to 700,000 100,000 followers a day And I did nothing
Starting point is 00:23:33 That shit was I was like wow Now At the end of the day You know I felt that was a good meeting for me The reason why they brought They wanted to have a meeting with me They felt like they could offer things
Starting point is 00:23:49 And they had like a program They said right now TikTok Is all about trends we make the trends I'm like what it's like we make the trends we're gonna put you on an email this I still got the emails and we're gonna email you
Starting point is 00:24:02 what's gonna trend for the week if you want to rise to the top of the algorithm your account is already preferred just make anything with that you're gonna go crazy now I didn't really make TikToks but I just stayed on the platform but seven days
Starting point is 00:24:17 700,000 followers now of course I think I think my loud mouth you know you're getting a finesse I didn't think it was a finesse. I'm just thinking it's nothing. I'm like, whatever. I think they took me out of the program, and the lever stopped.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Definitely. Because I went from getting 100,000 followers a day, and then afterwards it was like 4,000. So anyway, and I think it's because I mentioned it online. Because I was like in disbelief, right? But you know me, I got a big mouth, pause. Okay, why am I saying that? The reason that they were recruiting, they were recruiting for one singular reason. They were getting pressure by the music.
Starting point is 00:24:55 industry to cough up a large sum of money for people on the on the platform that were using their um that were using their music in the background of their their videos so universal music sony music entertainment and also warner music group said to tictock you're using our motherfucking songs pay the fuck up they don't have that much money but they have the users and they start to get in a negotiation with umg sony and warner to say hey You guys are hitting us with a crazy price because you don't understand what we're doing. By the way, the reason why I say Twitch had the same conversation
Starting point is 00:25:35 is that UMG pulled up on Twitch owned by Amazon is the same way at first. Because the music industry usually thinks you're still in our shit. TikTok and also Twitch, right? They realize in negotiation, if someone thinks you stole from them, the price is probably 10 times more to pay for the theft as if you could convince the person who thinks you stole from them
Starting point is 00:26:08 that you were actually promoting them for free. It's a difference between billions of dollars in what would eventually become a licensing deal. So essentially, what TikTok did was in recruitment, they were trying to get rappers and artists music media platforms to their platform that when they are in negotiation with the music labels, they can say, hey, your artists are coming here. Look at how your artist's music is getting boosted. They had stats that they would provide to the music company and say, look at this one song. After it went viral on our platform,
Starting point is 00:26:50 it went on the charts. We didn't steal. We're promoting. We're promoting. promoting for free. With that understanding in mind, the music industry started looking at them a little bit different. Wait, hold on. We're seeing direct correlation between TikTok's trends and songs popping up. Safe to say later on, they secured a deal. They secured a deal. The deal is a licensing deal. It allows TikTok your favorite, you know, cousin could be on there doing goofy shit. Ty Little could be winding up his waist while he plans. his next backdoor.
Starting point is 00:27:28 Yep. And you could have whatever song in the background, Drake, Uzi, whatever. That was a licensing deal. So TikTok survived the music companies getting at them. Well, shortly after, the app is now so popular,
Starting point is 00:27:49 so influential. I don't know if you've been, you know, don't call me JZ or nothing. Okay? by the way this part's a joke but don't call me jZ or nothing but from time to time i might i i might have dated dated a girl that might be like 23 right and if you and if you're if you're if you're with anybody i think really on the 25 they're glued to their phone like this and they scroll every two seconds it's ticot that's that's it okay and the j z thing is being tongue-in-cheek
Starting point is 00:28:22 because i think it'd be a little bit younger for me i'm like anyway um The point is this. The app is so influential that everybody is now saying, what is in the fucking secret sauce? What is this? Why is it so addicted? How does it have everybody doing these dances? How does it have everybody mind program?
Starting point is 00:28:48 And it even through social surveys and studies, they come out with some phenomenal stats to say, not only Gen Ziers, but it's the most Addictin app. When you get on it, it's brain rot. You scroll, scroll, scroll, and I don't know if you know anyone like this, but I know a lot of people like this.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Like I hit somebody up or we talk about, hey, what are you doing? And, you know, I think for, you know, people in their 30s, like late night, you watch a movie, you put on Netflix, you do something else. There's a lot of people that are, you know, either Gen Ziers or,
Starting point is 00:29:26 they'll just be like, oh, I'm just scrolling, on TikTok, that's their entertainment. They're scrolling perpetuity until they fall asleep, which is very different from, you know, historically. People used to watch, you know, your parents may have watched late-night TV, right? Oh, we're watching Colbert. We're watching Bill O'Reilly. We're watching, who else, who else?
Starting point is 00:29:43 David Letterman, that was the thing. That's how people went to sleep. Because that's when, theoretically, if you think about a 24-hour day, people who go to work, that's the time they're free the most. So your parents and grandparents watch late-night TV. You and I probably watch Netflix.
Starting point is 00:29:59 You're a little cousin. It's on TikTok. Whole time. He's on TikTok. Okay? He's winding up his waist. He's doing a lot of type of shit, right? Cool.
Starting point is 00:30:12 So everybody says what's in the sauce. Well, in digging into the app a little bit more, it started to raise some red flags. This app seemed like it was degenerative brain rot. And in looking into the background of the app, people start to become noticeably concerned that the app was owned by ByteDance, a Chinese company, which, by the way, it's not that it's owned by a Chinese company, but we get to realize that the way the app functions in the United States versus how it functions
Starting point is 00:30:49 or its derivative or, you know, its sister version functions in China is very different. It's meant to promote positivity, learning. It's meant to promote community growth. It's a overall representation of what they would like society to be. Also, if you don't know, China has a communist regime. The government has a heavy hand, and you're not going to promote fuck shit on here. In America, which we are pretty much not necessarily lawless,
Starting point is 00:31:24 but it's all about the monies. We're capitalist, fuck it. You know, I mean, promote anything. Who gives a damn, right? But people start raising the red flags and wait. How come their shit is saying, let's do this math challenge. And how come our shit is, hey, how about y'all bend your knees and wind your waist like Ty Lill? Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Okay. The next thing became some concerns about the data. in a time where recently it was in 2016 at the time but even in 2020 Trump got elected
Starting point is 00:32:04 for the first time in 2016 but there was a conversation that there was Russia interference that the you know that Russia tried to infiltrate
Starting point is 00:32:16 through media and other sense to affect the election in a way that they could get a leader that could get a leader that could be more conducive to what they wanted to do in the world. So that was outside interference. Well, if you look at what was going on politically,
Starting point is 00:32:34 I think we all know now, Russia and China, they're the ops. Not necessarily like we're going to war today or tomorrow. But ideologically, we don't really agree. However, we don't go over there and tell them what to do. Like, when we go over to Venice, well, we'll be like, yo, this your new president, right? Or we'll, like, fuck up, like, like, Pakistan or something like that.
Starting point is 00:32:54 We kind of like, they're bullies and we're bullies, right? We bully everybody else, but China and Russia, we got to leave alone. However, at that time, lawmakers and other people in the country started becoming weary after China repeatedly is starting to like push around and almost trying to tell the U.S., man, you niggas is getting pussy out here, man. like, man, it's a lot of geopolitical, you know, jostling going on. Now, you know, there's a Taiwan story in there. We won't get to that. People realize about our dependency on China. They're making all the chips.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Whatever. So lawmakers say, wait, hold on. If we're thinking that, yeah, you know, it's a Chinese company, whatever. But if it's the biggest tech company, or social media company. Given a fact, also, we had just came off a time where Congress was, you know, there was heavy conversation about censorship, suppression, maybe how much of a role, social media, suppressing certain views or whatever, how it affected elections.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Could China do what people accuse Russia of doing if they control the most popular social media app? Let's say they didn't want a Democrat in office. If they control the app and the algorithm, maybe they could just hit a lever. Now, everything that you're seeing would be representing the other side. It would give them an advantage. That's probably worth billions and probably could tilt and influence how people would vote, flip an election. Powerful. That's how you infiltrate the enemy from outside.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Then the data question came up. Well, we're signing up. We're giving addresses, names. Shit. I think they might actually feel a little bit of DNA at this point. You're trying to get onto these social media apps. If they know the demographics because they have the signups and they know the behavior because their algorithm tailored to your behavior. Whether you watch a video for 10 seconds or you flip up immediately or you hit, don't show me this again,
Starting point is 00:35:20 or you just like watching bitches or you go to cooking things or you constantly. search recipes, whatever, they know your behavior without enlisting spies. They have now mapped with the majority or hundreds of millions of people in the United States how they use or how their behavior is. So it comes up in Congress, we got to get our data from out of China. You got to get out of China. we find out that the data center is in China, by the way, there was numerous,
Starting point is 00:36:01 there was numerous House Committee here in TikTok where the CEO and, you know, whoopty-do. Hold on. Chinese government. The CEO, you guess what he is. It's not like that. black nigga running the shit like now yeah no yeah china owns us but since this is the american version the ceo is black so i remember watching this whole thing they were grilling all the social
Starting point is 00:36:41 media companies but this guy he went up there he said yo china like we do store us data from ticot in china however we wouldn't give it to the chinese government stop it Like, I think everybody in that room was like, stop. You, yo, Jackie Chan cut it out. Yo, gently get the hell. Yo, if you don't get your Bruce Leroy ass on out of here, but he sat up there and he says, we don't hand over U.S. data.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Lo and behold, even Biden, who was asleep with the wheel, heard loud calls from everybody in every corner, in every aisle in politics to other businesses who are competing with TikTok to say, we don't have a version of Facebook over China. Why the fuck does a China company got a version of, what is it called, whatever the fuck, their version of TikTok is called,
Starting point is 00:37:52 why they got that shit over here? And I get it. The freedom of the market. But why is our data stored over there? So it was then put into the political aisles. Should we ban this company? or what they call forced that company to divest. They ask China and they say,
Starting point is 00:38:28 hey, listen, are you down to sell to an American company? Bite Dance, which is a Chinese company, said nope. They tried a couple more solutions. They said, nope. Ultimately, they said, all right, fuck it, we got to play a hardball with you. We're banning your ass. And after seeing that their product that's now worth billions,
Starting point is 00:38:55 tens of billions. was going to just go poof because if you're banned you're worth nothing they eventually came to a agreement to divest now this deal was dragging his legs for a while
Starting point is 00:39:14 TikTok was actually off the market for a bit TikTok realized Trump was one of the main people at first saying let's get TikTok the fuck out of here because China but of course later when TikTok realized that he was going to be the new commander in chief because he wasn't at the time was Biden. TikTok started supporting him and actually they show their real power.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Allegedly their algorithm helped Trump gain more promotion than any other political candidate. What happened in 2024? Trump wins re-election. Trump's opinion of TikTok started. changed. He actually even said it. I like TikTok now. Here we go. Block TikTok. Why did it change your mind? Because I got to use it. And remember, TikTok is largely about kids, young kids. If China's going to get information about young kids, out of it. I think, I think...
Starting point is 00:40:31 So he changed his mind. I can't find it necessarily clip. The clip that was, like he had, after winning the election, I think it was his election speech, right? But he was like, I think I like like, I think I like TikTok now, which is the typical Trump-esque type of thing. You know, Trump is more for self, right? Like, he's unapologetic, like, yo, listen, if you fuck with me, you know what I mean? Like, Trump will be sitting there next to Nicky Minaj. Nicky Minaj, husband is on the, is on a sexual offender registry list. And they'll be both calling our pedophiles.
Starting point is 00:41:08 And Trump at no point is going to be like, yo, what's that with your husband? Not at all. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? So that is a Trumpian type of thing. So he switches his mind kind of on TikTok, right? Look. And as of today.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Yeah. This is at his inauguration, right? Look. TikTok is back. I said very simply, a joint venture. Okay. So TikTok, they realize you got to cozy up to Trump to get what you want. Kind of like what Nickymanage did.
Starting point is 00:41:40 And she got what she want, that gold card. And Trump. says, you know what? Because there was a deadline that they were going to get banned. Trump signs in order to say, we're going to extend the deadline. They were dragging the feed. Yes, so it was going for a while. He brings it back.
Starting point is 00:41:54 He extends the deadline. They do it two more times. And let me start getting to meat and potatoes and let's do business 101. As of two weeks ago, TikTok has been divested. Okay? I want to give you the details of the deal. And I know some of you guys might be like, Why do we care?
Starting point is 00:42:20 You're going to have to care. Because as TikTok is still one of the most influential things when it comes to music and music catalog, who owns it and who gets to manipulate it, will always matter on what you're seeing. Okay? Remember, the reason we're talking business is that when we get to culture shit,
Starting point is 00:42:37 that we have a little bit more information to be armed with that we don't think everything is random. Things are not happening because there is a puppeteer. And we're going to realize some of the same players who keep coming back and back around. They put out a press release. The press release is dated January 22, 2026. Now, this is the announcement that there's a joint venture.
Starting point is 00:43:07 And a joint venture is that it was divested. So Biden's own TikTok wholly because technically and what was decided by the Trump administration and even the Biden administration is that TikTok cannot be owned by a, Chinese company. Now, it's not that it can't be owned at all by a Chinese company. It can't be the majority owner. So divesting means you're going to sell parts of it and you've got to go from being a majority owner to a minority owner. What was agreed upon in Congress is that Bight Dance has to sell off or give away or divest at least, it wouldn't be like $40,000. percent 51 percent at least 80 one i think it's 80 point one percent so the max they could keep after
Starting point is 00:44:05 the thing is like 19 but just on a shade under 20 percent the deal happened and let me give you a little bit about some of the partners and i'm going to tell you why this is all all going to matter because you got to know who's running these companies because they get to put their imprint on these companies at what we're going to see. So they do this joint venture. They say apparently it's 200 million Americans and 7.5 billion businesses are still on the platform. I thought it was more.
Starting point is 00:44:38 How many people on TikTok? How many? Oh, it's Americans. How many people use TikTok? Oh, 2 billion globally? Ah, oh, okay, okay, okay. Yes, so outside of China, It's one app, right?
Starting point is 00:44:57 But the U.S. has like, was it, two, three hundred million people on there, right? Cool. So cool. So they kind of give this whole little, you know, disclosure. We're doing it for data protection. Now all the U.S. data will be now protected by U.S.DS. joint venture and Oracle. Now, this is where it's going to get interest in chat. And this is where, you know, when you guys say why we talk business, because we got to figure out what's really happening in the world.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Oracle. Oracle is a company. They blew up largely because of cloud technology, you know, as people needed more. People needed to access information remotely. They became one of the biggest companies that did cloud technology, mostly for business at first, but it kind of spread out and they started doing other things. And, you know, the name you should associate with this is Larry Ellison. Okay, we've spoke about Larry Ellison before, and we've talked about his son, David Ellison.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Remember, I told you the Nepo Baby stuff. David Ellison is the guy who is running Skydance, not to be confused with bite dance, that's the Chinese company. He's running Skydance. They're now trying to buy Warner Brothers versus Netflix who's trying to buy it as well. And they've offered a lot of money. And essentially, their whole bid against Netflix is that, we could pay more for this, and they're trying to get the shareholders to say, we could give you more money than Netflix.
Starting point is 00:46:31 And when asked by the board of directors for Warner, how could you promise us that we will get paid this because companies could go bankrupt? They say, well, you know, David Ellison says, well, my daddy is the like second richest guy in the world. Larry Ellison, okay? Larry Ellison, remember, Oracle. So you get to realize Oracle's doing a lot of things. Oracle's moving like, you know, like,
Starting point is 00:46:59 it's not necessarily like an investment firm like that, but it's leveraging a lot of stuff. It's moving on some black rock shit. I'm going to keep it being, right? Anyway, here's the interesting thing. And this is where I think, you know, I wish, I wouldn't want it to get into like the political minutia's, but like I like the business behind politics.
Starting point is 00:47:19 So while remember I told you Trump, like, and he just said, yo, I save TikTok. So he was signing these, these, you know, executive orders to say, despite the law that says TikTok either has to sell by this date or be banned. He pushed the date back with executive orders. And when he pushed the date back, part of like kind of having Congress be okay with that is saying that, hey, listen, we're in a remedial stage of figuring out a deal. And that's why I'm giving an extension.
Starting point is 00:47:51 and at that time he got TikTok to agree to store the U.S. data that they used to have in China, but they would be storing it in the USA. Guess what company picked before this deal happened? He picked Oracle. So Oracle was going to be the place that was going to be in charge of securing U.S. data. Why? Well, that's where politics as usual come in. the Ellison family, even though this time around,
Starting point is 00:48:25 they weren't the biggest donors or supporters politically. Elon Musk was $200 million donated to this political campaign or election season. Larry Ellison did a lot of private fundraisers for Trump. Roxford Trump. Sky. It's a good guy to him. All right? Now, maybe it's coincidence, but you're going to realize.
Starting point is 00:48:53 we keep mentioning the same people, there ain't no coincidences. So essentially, this guy who's been, you know, he's the second richest guy in the world. He's been, you know, doing these little billionaire fundraisers for Trump when Trump was about to go through his reelection again. He's, you know, they're kind of aligned here, right? Also, after, as part of Trump got paid $60 million, right? Trump gets paid $60 million from CBS. Trump 60 million CBS
Starting point is 00:49:24 It's a lawsuit Over 60 minutes Where they deceptively Edit a Kamala Harris interview Okay And they They paid that money Check out crazy this is
Starting point is 00:49:42 This is so ill I hope you guys are following So Paramount Remember I told you Paramount Eventually gets bought by this company called Skydance Skydance
Starting point is 00:49:52 Skydance is founded by Larry Ellison's son, David Ellison. Right when Skydance is about it by Paramount, part of like trying to, you know, close all the business deals is them paying out Trump $60 million. Remember, Trump, Ellison, always think about that. So they, fuck the lawsuit, they just give Trump $60 million, right? Then the company gets bought by Skydance. Okay?
Starting point is 00:50:23 So they pay Trump $60 million. And I'm just trying to show you, again, I'm not trying to accuse necessarily like Trump and these guys to be in collusion. But come on, you know what runs the fucking world. You know, Trump and the Ellison family. So it's safe to say the reason why Trump got the $60 million as a settlement is because the company was going to be bought by David Ellison's, Larry Ellison's son, David Ellison. So Trump gets $60 million. Also, the father is having a bunch of like, you know, little, you know, you know, uh, David Ellison
Starting point is 00:50:55 Trump fundraiser Yeah he did a bunch of like You know He's doing fundraisers for Trump This and third Whatever whatever You get what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:51:09 So essentially These guys are really cozied up Now maybe it's You know Oracle is the biggest cloud company in the world Or maybe it's just because it's Trump's homie Trump's homie Trump picks
Starting point is 00:51:24 Oracle as the company to store U.S. data from TikTok until they figure out the deal. So in the waiting period, let my homie's company store all the data. Take it from the Chinese. Fuck them.
Starting point is 00:51:39 But let my homie's company store the data. Maybe it's coincidence. By the way, there's another deeper rabbit hole with the Elon and Trump shit and that's why Elon got tight and that's why Elon spilled later.
Starting point is 00:51:55 You know you in them goddamn Files, nigga. You know you in them Foss. That's another rabbit hole. whole we'll get to on a business level maybe another day i don't know if you guys enjoy these but i really do okay because this is real drama this is drama with like political implications implications for you and me is a lot of implications a lot of financial implications too so cool so now we're at the deal remember this is the announcement from last week of the deal so while this was happening right oracle had the data right now here's what's going to happen with the algorithm
Starting point is 00:52:29 The algorithm is going to be retrained, retested, and updated to make sure it's going to be in the benefit of the U.S. That is not subverted by like some Chinese agenda. And the recommendation algorithm will be secured on Oracle. So remember this coveted secret sauce. Like how to fucking Chinese. It's like Chinese food. You ever ate like a piece of chicken from Chinese food? I don't know if I ate cat.
Starting point is 00:53:03 I don't know if I ate cat. If this was a rat, if this shit tastes it, what part of the chicken is this? One of those. But I hope you're following. So Oracle gets the data while we're waiting to get the deal.
Starting point is 00:53:19 But the deal is here now. And we're hearing that the secret sauce that everybody wanted, which is the algorithm, will be now overseen, be overseen by Oracle. Larry Ellison. There's a,
Starting point is 00:53:40 software assurance, trust and safety, vanguards that are, um, safeguards actually that are put into, to, to the deal to make sure that, you know, it could not have any type of corruption later on. Now, they do some restructuring. I don't think you guys care about who these guys are, but what, what should be interested to you guys is who now owns TikTok. So, as part of the divested, okay as part of the divested
Starting point is 00:54:12 I'm going to point out a few things bite dance retained the most of what the law said they could have which is 19.9% of TikTok so the Chinese company still keeps 19.9% but they're no longer majority so now 80.1% is to other people here are the other people and everybody was bidding to get it remember Mark Zuckerberg wanted everybody wants it we got billionaires everybody wants it the guy who
Starting point is 00:54:46 owns rumble will say hey we'll get along with some people let's we got to buy tic-tok tic-tok is the shit well because the government was broker in the deal the government kind of got to pick who are going to be the people who got to own pieces of tic-tok who you think they picked well oracle owns 15 percent of it So Oracle gets 15%. It's like this investment group called Silver Lake. They own 15%. And MGX, they own 15%.
Starting point is 00:55:29 Now, I want to give you a little bit. Silver Lake is an investment group. I can't remember what they really specialize in. I can look it up in a second. But MGX, they're the Saudis. Now, I know you might be like, Why the hell did we go sell part of TikTok to some Saudi Arabian things? I mean, like, one of you, I don't know, I don't know about that part of the world.
Starting point is 00:55:49 So I don't know if you were you, Saudi Arabia, close, whatever. Anyway, why the fuck? Well, this company is they specialize in AI. Oh, and I didn't miss part of the story for you. I missed part of the story for y'all in the, in the, um, oh, actually we'll get to that afterwards. They specialize in AI, okay? So it's a Saudi company, they specialize in AI. They have 15%.
Starting point is 00:56:14 Oracle has 15% in a Silver Lake group. They have 15%. Other than that, they, and by the way, also with that, they get cap cut, which is the app, lemonade or whatever the case, right? There's a couple other people who get pieces of TikTok. So already now we have 45%. So 20% bite dance keeps. 40% is over here.
Starting point is 00:56:34 So that leaves 20 and 45, that's 65. So there's 35% left and it gets split up a bunch of people. And I think you guys are getting my drift here. How do you think these people are picked? Random? Just pick it like bingo, put your hand in the box. Or do you think whatever it is? Think about it.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Now, we all know money runs the world, but it's important to know who has parts of this because it's going to matter in decisions we see later. It's the reason why I tell you that, you know, Chinese have also been trying to like 10 cent they keep buying up the music industry they own part of universal why why do the Chinese who don't speak motherfucking English keep buying part of English music industry We'll get to that another day So Michael Dell the guy who founded Dell
Starting point is 00:57:27 He gets some Vastmere okay It's a bunch of people like you'll know some of these names you're seeing companies or you'll know some of these names if you kind of like look up what they do or what they're associated with. But these are no like bums. These are guys and women who are already heavily, you know, heavily funded
Starting point is 00:57:50 and they're heavily invested all over the place. Okay? Now, the way how this was picked, I think that's going to be the controversial part, feels like everybody who cozyed up to Trump got TikTok. Okay? So if you were an op of Trump, and this is why, let me give you like a quick joke.
Starting point is 00:58:10 And I know you have like an act that you're dragging this. But this is business. We got to talk business, right? It was so interested. Hold on. What was it? Apple? It was so interesting that the Apple CEO donated a million dollars to Trump and the inauguration, right?
Starting point is 00:58:40 To Trump's inauguration, okay? Tim Cook. He's donating to Trump. He gives Trump some gold shit. Like, he's Trump's best friend now. Right? And it just goes to show that these guys, there is no moral character.
Starting point is 00:58:57 It's only business. And politics is big, big business now. Also, we don't have to watch a video necessarily. I like to show the video. This box was made in the U.S. This blast comes off. Now, when he's doing the song and dance, You have a new commander in chief.
Starting point is 00:59:17 He has a lot of, remember, Trump literally did save TikTok. He pretty much all the people who sucked up to him or all the people who got to buy TikTok, if you want to do some big shit, you better be cool with Trump, at least for the next four years or three years, I guess, whatever. Morning line. Additional 100 billion. He pledged $100 billion. He loves Trump. Now, the irony.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Let's go to Mark Zuckerberg. Now, Mark Zuckerberg, okay? Now, I just want to show you this one ironic thing. So we have Elon, Jeff Bezos, Amazon, okay, Mark Zuckerberg, meta. Now, the interesting part of this, right? Remember, this guy owns Twitter. This guy owns Instagram and Facebook. This guy owns Amazon.
Starting point is 01:00:33 The reason why I'm saying is business as usual. Y'all remember in, you know, at the end of his term in 2020, Trump got banned. Trump got banned from social media. Yet when he finally wins again, guess who's right there cozying up laughing like they didn't ban him from their platform, basically sending a message like he was a fascist or whatever. the guy who owns Meta, who bet you had to agree with the band
Starting point is 01:01:03 which by the way, he later walked us all back saying they were being over like they were they were being told what to do by Biden's government so now Biden's out of there they're fuck with Trump
Starting point is 01:01:13 you get what I'm saying so you see him kicking it they banned they banned Trump on Twitch they banned him like it was me who owns Twitch Amazon who's the guy for Amazon
Starting point is 01:01:23 him they're all cool now you know I mean basically all you got to do is win Right. Anyway. So all Trump homies, they won't TikTok now. And I know I dragged a story out for a long time, but I hope if you kind of listen to this, I don't know if you're interested in business or whatever, but these are the things that kind of, you know, matter. The last business thing, and not necessarily has to do politics particularly, but it has to do with the music industry is just like I just mentioned with Trump and how Trump through, you know, takes to do with. TikTok got taken off the market and he brought it back on the market so TikTok had to listen to him and pretty much do whatever he wants.
Starting point is 01:02:11 They had to be his bitch, right? That's how negotiations work. You got to walk away from the table. TikTok wasn't a green. They thought the U.S. was bullshit and said, nah, y'all ain't going to ban us. We're too big. We TikTok. Band.
Starting point is 01:02:29 And after they get banned, oh, shit. You know what I mean? That's when you get the best deal done. Similarly, what happened in the music industry. So in 2024, I'm not sure if you guys remember this. UMG removes music from TikTok, okay? In early 2024. Now, remember I told you UMG licensed their music to TikTok?
Starting point is 01:02:53 Well, every couple years, they got to re-up the license, right? Same with, you know, all these places that use UMG's music. You don't own it. You can't buy a permanent license. You license it for a little bit and you come back. It's like when these television networks license the, NBA products. They got to come back and do these TV deals. Now, the reason why this happened wasn't actually maybe what you think. It wasn't necessarily about money, even though UMG and usually
Starting point is 01:03:19 the music business, they're very money hungry, right? It's a reason why they look at anybody playing their music as complete that. They look at stealing. So they're like, they're not thinking promotion. They think you stole money from me, right? And oftentimes they got to get convinced that it's not stealing is actually promotion. There's a symbiotic mutual type of understanding that they could come to where this company helps you promote easier and this and third, you should be leveraged and not trying to, you know, get them out of there, right? What this happened, when this happened, UMG realized that TikTok was getting his arm twisted by the U.S. government.
Starting point is 01:03:57 So the U.S. government, and so he piggybacks off the other thing I was telling you about, right? So remember this whole thing like Trump is saying, yeah, I got to figure this shit out now. everybody in you know Congress in Washington is saying we're going to ban you universal takes advantage of that and says you know what yeah fuck y'all take our music off of there they do it during negotiation why do they do it well some would say well that's the best time for you to get the most amount of money now again they're money hungry but that wasn't necessarily what they their aim was their aim actually was unlike in the 2000 era right and if you guys know the history of music back in 2000s labels were being told that hey the product of a physical CD people are now getting easier ways to rip they they're the
Starting point is 01:04:55 technology is becoming up to standard and up to par to deal with these wave and mp3 files and they could be transferred pair to peer in a way that's unregulated and it could be duplicated in perpetuity, which means once someone gets your physical product, they could then give it to everybody in the world, which eliminates the need for them to buy your physical product again. The music industry says, fuck you. We don't believe that shit.
Starting point is 01:05:30 I ain't about to do that. well here comes Napser here comes because here comes all the music piracy um um piracy companies and what ends up happening the music industry goes in a tailspin
Starting point is 01:05:44 piracy fucks everything up they don't know what to do everybody's losing money and it's not until later they kind of figure out that streaming is a viable option to try to combat that because at first we're trying to fight piracy you know through the courts this is where you know they they were taking aim at different things
Starting point is 01:06:00 You know, we even see that they're like, yo, look at these mixtape guys. Let's DJ Drama and them get arrested. They're trying to sue Napster and all these other places. It doesn't necessarily work out. They're basically chasing their tail around. It was a never-ending thing. And the movie industry was going through it too as well. So during that time, they learned a very valuable lesson.
Starting point is 01:06:29 If you see a disruption coming to your business practice, you need to figure it out before you get there. When they told you beforehand that people could duplicate CDs and share the songs without ever needed to go back to Best Buy to buy another CD, you should do something now to stay ahead of that. They didn't. They learned. In the early 2020s, the biggest conversation has been, if they're leverage on every company that, that needs music is their catalog. Their biggest competitor is AI.
Starting point is 01:07:11 There's a couple of companies that will completely make an AI song for you. We've seen during the Drake and Kendrick Battle, there were songs that would come out completely in Drake's voice or even Kendrick's voice or whatever rapper's voice. And there was companies that were now getting a startup that was saying, hey, listen, we could just use the voice of little oozy I love you know
Starting point is 01:07:36 you guys might not like this little oozy vert codeine crazy this is AI but play in a second Ouzi never said those words but the AI and the technology is so good that you know you could use someone's voice to do a song
Starting point is 01:08:04 that somebody else did now it creates a lot of legal problems but also business problems as well right future signs to sonic music entertainment uzi signed to um atlantic through uh warner music group those are two competing companies how does how does this happen the artist is not sanctioned in this uh the artist's production group generation now is not sanctioned in this this is somebody in their bedroom just using an app to make something real quick people are going to listen to this that like is going out of stop because i like uzi i like future i like coding crazy this is a nice little mix
Starting point is 01:08:36 this is like a different version there's one with juice world too i think it's a amazing. Like there's a couple of Jusroyo-esque songs that got redone. I loved it. Also, here's a thing. I hate to say it and hate to be a little bit morbid, but the music industry makes a lot of money off dead people. When a artist dies, their catalog is memorialized, usually idolized, and usually gets played in perpetuity because that's the last remembrance of that artist. AI was threatening that. People were now able to use and manipulate voices of people who were dead to act like there was new music could confuse the market. It could fuck up the current market share of what was already baked in the cake that required no promotion. For example,
Starting point is 01:09:15 Drake used Tupac's voice and Tupac's voice is now rapping this in Kendrick Lamar without permission. So essentially what turned out and ended up happening is that the UMG bosses, and really I would imagine bosses that also Sony music entertainment and also Warner Music Group, they also started thinking, we got to get a handle of this. We can't have a repeat of the early 2000s. One of their ways to combat that, they start filing lawsuits. Okay? They filed the lawsuit.
Starting point is 01:09:47 You know, some of these companies, one of them is called Suno. The other one's called Udio. UMG, Suez, Udio, yes, here we go. This is another. Ooh, we got to talk about this another time. Remind me, this is another thing. Somebody just stole the entire music, the entire music catalog of all the labels, and they're trying to put them out for free, not at streaming.
Starting point is 01:10:12 just have them there that people could download and there's a big lawsuit. Big business with that too, I'm going to get to it. There's a lot of money involved. But let me show you this. UMG Sue's Udeo, and it looks like that has been settled. That has been settled. But they are trying to prevent AI. And have you noticed that AI's music has gotten a lot less attention?
Starting point is 01:10:35 By the way, they have not only, they have started to make deals with social media company to suppress the popularity of any AI identified music that feature their artists. So it's not just AI music. If you want to make AI music cool, but if you use Drake's voice, it shouldn't be like the most popular thing on social media. Why? The labels are talking to social media companies, and these are pre-litigation talks to make sure this doesn't happen.
Starting point is 01:11:03 So the Universal is moving behind the scenes to make sure that AI music that infringes on their rights do not get public. popular and they get they put a foot they put a stop to it that we don't have another tailspin okay now last uh october universal music actually announced that it settled the copyright infringement litigation against the a i music platform is called udl okay it says in the announcement that it'll collaborate on an innovative new commercial music creation a consumption streaming experience and that platform is going to be in 2026 so they're basically saying you know universal basically said you're fucking stealing our artist's voice and their lightness or whatever
Starting point is 01:11:39 and like retrain it with AI, we're going to own your company, but we like the technology. We'll work with you. Maybe you could assist us to get new artists or do some new ventures. And, you know, they probably don't have the money at this point
Starting point is 01:11:53 to like fight with Universal. They've settled. Okay. They've also sued Suno. You used to see those videos with Suno right there. What people would be able to do is to kind of use the lightness and voice and other things of artists and kind of put them in compromising position
Starting point is 01:12:11 or even put them in musical situations where they're performing. So, Universal really has a beef with AI. So while TikTok was getting his arm twisted by the government, Universal actually said, hey, matter of fact, we're going to walk away from the table. We want to control how AI and music gets put on your platform.
Starting point is 01:12:37 Now, TikTok, I'm sorry. TikTok, they're not fond of that idea that much. I'm going to tell you why. Because an app that kind of benefits off of filters, you know, background noises. Like recently I just did my first TikTok, like it was for Kashi. Like the green screen thing, right? Like they benefit from filters and other things.
Starting point is 01:13:01 So AI could help them in making TikTok easier for users and better for users and better content means more people come in there in dissent third. So they weren't really trying to say no to AI And Universal saying no, fuck AI So what Universal did It says you think we play Take all our music down now
Starting point is 01:13:23 So there's a period of time In early 2024 That there was no Taylor Swift, no Drake No Olivia Rodrigo And that was solely because TikTok Did not respect the rights of the UMG artist catalog.
Starting point is 01:13:45 And by the way, artists were kind of with UMG in a rare move because usually artists don't like their label. But they agree like, you know, imagine your favorite rapper is now competing with an AI version of himself that's making better songs. He's high as hell in the studio. He fell off already. And there's some kid that got the sauce,
Starting point is 01:14:04 but now he's using your favorite artist's voice making better songs. Like you see what a pickle that could be. So the artists agreed with the labels. Yeah, fuck that AI shit. You know what I mean? Like, you know, we can't give them other options. What the hell? Like, I'm not going to lie to you.
Starting point is 01:14:18 I heard some AI songs that were better than the actual artist song. And they were both in the same voice. So that was a problem. Okay. Now, there's a quick interview and that will be the, you know, that's my business. What day was today? Monday? That's my business Monday rundown for you of TikTok and what's going on.
Starting point is 01:14:39 And I'll give you a little. forecast of what I think is going to happen and then we'll just move to other topics. So, there's a recent interview that just came out. Where is it? Where is it? Billboard.
Starting point is 01:15:00 Is it this? Let's see. I had it here. Hold on. What really happened with UMG and TikTok. All right. It's a YouTube video. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Yeah, Billboard put this out four days ago. How is the world's biggest music company? By the way, You know, I spend a lot of, if you wonder what I watch or whatever, after I'm done watching all the bullshit and I go into the female T pages to see who's fucking who, I usually have to enrich my mind. And music business world worldwide is really good. There's one for radio and some of the sort of like that.
Starting point is 01:15:41 And actually, Billboard itself is a really good website. You know, it's not really just only for charts. The charts is just one portion of it. But our Billboard Pro, you guys should, you know, if you ever care about music business, should read stuff over there as well. Right. Anyway, um,
Starting point is 01:15:56 yeah, so Billboard does this piece and they start talking about what happened with UMG. And here we go. So we hear about why UMG boycotted TikTok. It's a little bit boring. This guy's kind of ugly. But,
Starting point is 01:16:13 you know, I'll let you listen to like two, three minutes of it. Then I'll give you the, um, my forecast and we'll get out of this topic. Again, I'm sorry for now.
Starting point is 01:16:20 the most exciting topic but if you're anything like me topics like this is what i like you know some of the best protections that we have in any agreement with the music service in terms of um a i protection and what we call anti dilution meaning that ours royalties won't be diluted by pure a i content that's so so so you heard what he said um and by the this is the chief digital officer an executive vice president that's speaking They don't want their revenue to be diluted by this content, right, which is the AI content. Interesting to hear this. At the time, because I was reporting on this issue as it developed, I have to admit, like, towards the tail end of the-
Starting point is 01:17:10 Okay, sure. To get to the outcome, you know, certainly a company like Universal, a large, diverse, stable of artists, a lot of voices, a lot of perspective. so we understand the importance of access to that platform for our artists, and that's why we worked really hard to secure a new agreement. I would say by and large, the strong level of support in the music community around the position that we took. Yeah, so basically the artist agreed, which I really think the artist didn't want to compete with AI versions of themselves, clearly, right? Because at first, you know at first, the conversation when AI stuff started popping up was, okay, let's think about ownership. Well, even if you made it, so technically I could record a song and use an AI program to have it mastered, right, in the voice of Drake.
Starting point is 01:17:58 Who owns the song? Is it mirrors it Drake? Well, I guess I'm a composer. I wrote it or if I came up with a lyrics or I performed it. But it's in his voice, which he would own, that's an innate intellectual property of his, right, which is pretty much owned by Universal. So who really owns it? That was going to be a whole legal fight, which I don't think these companies were willing to fight on behalf of their users. I think they were going to say whatever.
Starting point is 01:18:23 So at first, the conversation was, Universal was going to say, if you drop a song in Drake's voice, that's our song. Now, we're going to make all the money. You're never going to make no money. So if you want to make us free music, cool, we're just going to monetize of it. And it felt like it was going to be an easy thing to get mad revenue for the music business until they realized, well, you know what? It's going to confuse the market of the existing songs. also not only about who commoditize off and own it, how do we add this to the catalog?
Starting point is 01:18:51 Right? And then the artist themselves said, wait, nigger, right now I'm making trash music. You got some kid who liked me from three years ago who's making songs like me, but now using my voice and that shit's hot. So they're not coming to me no more. And I can't post his song, I'll be a fraud. If I post his song in my, so the artist supported. Was very helpful in enabling us to secure the right deal going forward.
Starting point is 01:19:14 Now TikTok has sold its U.S. branch and things are going to change there. Do you think that that will impact the platform and its relationship to music discovery and the music industry? Do you think that it'll still have as much power as it has previously had under new leadership? It will be really interesting to see there's still some elements of the equation, like technologically with the platform, with the algorithm, how all that's going to play out. Yeah. The new management structure will be put in place. in place, you know, a lot of changes for the company.
Starting point is 01:19:46 And I can't comment too much because, you know, yeah, you won't comment too much because, and this is what I'm trying to say. UMG knew all this was going to happen. They got, they need to get the AI thing out of the way. The AI thing is out of the way. They knew that a U.S. company was going to influence it. And now they realized this algorithm, the secret sauce that used to make this, this, this, this app be able to pop off songs left and right. It's up in the air if it will continue to do so,
Starting point is 01:20:21 but they could possibly because they're ahead of the game. Remember, 2000s behind the eight ball. That's why music business is a tailspin. Now they're ahead of the game. Maybe they could influence it. You know, the music industry, I always tell you this. The reason why the music industry is a very tough business to be in and why they give these really, really shitty contracts other than the fact that everybody's greedy but the reason they give these really shitty contracts imagine being a business right like if you're if you sell iPhones you produce a phone someone needs a phone they buy the phone it's simple supply and demand the thing with music is that it's not a one-to-one relationship in what you produce versus what people want it's actually like this amalgam of um complicated
Starting point is 01:21:08 it's art so it's like how could you everybody wants to have a number one song you think think labels don't want to have 15 not like us a year but you can't predict it you can't predict what artists what time and here how do you you're basically in a gambling economy or gambling business if the if to predict revenue is based upon these things you can't predict right so it's not like you're like okay you know obviously certain things they can like okay Taylor Swift is coming out we know she's going to sell whatever whatever but they can't predict a hit record they can't predict the flop, like intuitively because they can't control the minds of people. They can't control how a song will, one song will do, and that's their product. So they're kind of gambling.
Starting point is 01:21:54 So the way how they, the way how you make a business of that is that if you can't control this product, you control everything else that could have control on the product. What does that mean? You try to control Spotify because Spotify controls playlist and playlist affects music and how it does. So you try to control Spotify. UMG, there, there, They have some interest in Spotify, equity-wise, and it's for that reason. You try to control radio. You control all the parameters to make sure that gamble that you're taken with every song you put out that you may have paid whatever for is not necessarily a gamble anymore. And you could make, let's not say, assumptions, let's say educated guess.
Starting point is 01:22:40 You take the guesswork out of it. So here's the new way. Like, you know how the music business was, like, they were in shambles recently because a song could pop off, based on the algorithm, a song could pop off by a random kid that did some funny shit that made a stupid song and is the most viral thing on TikTok, and now the music industry is catching up with that. That's not good for business. That person's independent.
Starting point is 01:23:06 He's not under-a-contract already. That's not good for business. So what I'm telling you what this guy's alluding to, but he's not going to say is that if UMG has a has any shot at it or any influence or anything to say, they want to be able to do what they do to Spotify and others. We control the algorithm, nigga. Fuck that. They ain't on fuck all that. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, you 15 years old and you popped off with a new song with a cool dance. Fuck that.
Starting point is 01:23:33 We control was hot. And you know what they're going to say is hot? The people we sign. You get it. I know you. Obviously, ongoing negotiations have confidential nature in place. They have ongoing negotiations
Starting point is 01:23:47 about how maybe their algorithms are going to be tailored to... So what I'm really trying to say, if UMG has its way, the algo at least musically, will never be the same. It will never be like, you know, random people popping off.
Starting point is 01:24:02 Right? Remember, we kept seeing people just like top of the billboard and they're like, oh, this is a TikTok song. UMG don't like that. They want what's top of the bill. billboard they want to run it like radio like radio has always been ran we give you what's going to be hot you make it hot that's why they had a radio programming Spotify we tell you what's going to be what's going to run y'all playlist Apple music we tell you what's going to run y'all playlist right so you're
Starting point is 01:24:29 not gambling anymore if I get to control what's hot it's basically a Ponzi scheme right anyway not really but kind of anyway uh others you hear two more minutes of this and I just I just gave the forecast so we're kind of done. But I think that having a U.S. TikTok entity with the importance of music in the U.S. market and, you know, what we feel, you know, with universal music, the importance we bring to partnership in, you know, a U.S. centric conversation is a good position to be in. So we're looking forward to engage in in conversations to try to figure out what the next win-win looks like.
Starting point is 01:25:08 Yeah. I'm super interested to see how the algorithm changes personally because, I mean, artists are like living and dying by this algorithm trying to chase it and all of its changes over time. So I'm very curious to see how that shapes up. But I wanted to move on to AI because we can't get away from that topic. Okay. So I think we'll end it there. I just want to do a poll real quick.
Starting point is 01:25:37 One in the chat if you enjoy this segment, two in the chat, if you didn't. And three, if you did, but it went too long. Again, I like to go through these breakdowns because I guess I went through an hour of conversation to tell you that the algo is going to change right now. Right now. The algo is going to change. And when you stop seeing what you've seen and we're talking about music and we're like, we are going to, this conversation is going to memorialize why it happened. Right? More to come.
Starting point is 01:26:10 All right. Thank you guys, by the way. You guys seem to. You know, you guys watch. we're like-minded to some extent. All right, guys. It looks like, let's get to some bullshit. I know it's late, but nevertheless, we got to keep it going here.
Starting point is 01:26:26 Did you see Donald Trump's reaction to Trevor Noah? So Trevor Noah was clowning. And I do see some of you guys saying, saying, you know, I'm a fair guy. And if we have time tonight, again, I'm doing a poll here. So one in the chat, if it's yes, two in the chat, if it's no. we're probably going to keep going back to this DOJ release of this quote, Epstein's files. If you want us to, like, I think some people accuse me or they think that I'm like dodging
Starting point is 01:26:53 this idea or the, you know, the mentions of Trump in there. Like, we could talk about everything. What the hell? You know what I mean? I think everything in there should be talked about, right? This is the Epstein files that everybody claimed was the, you know, the fucking rubric, the code book, the Vinci code to find it out pedophiles. files. And now that it came out and people start seeing their mans in it.
Starting point is 01:27:16 People like, nah, we don't talk about that man. Niggis didn't hit line, man. Right? Like, the people who are talking about the Epstein files, I love Charleston and everything. But I was watching brilliant idiots last week. Charlemagne's like, what about the Epstein files, right? And shit, I mean, I've been agreeing. A lot of people have been agreeing. The Epstein files come out. Jay Z gets mentioned. Like, yes, it's unsubstantiated in one report. the tip call. But these are things that the FBI and other officials were investigating.
Starting point is 01:27:49 And that was the substance of what they feel like this, you know, cabal was in terms of this sex trafficking ring that included a lot of powerful people, not necessarily only with kids, but like it was a network of people that maybe not everybody was fucking kids, but they were all involved in this really evil network, right? So, of course, yes, there's some things about calls, right? Again, not saying it's necessarily true, but it's in the files. But also, you know, Jay Z wasn't only mentioned there. Jay Z was also mentioned in the goddamn, he was mentioned emails.
Starting point is 01:28:22 Like, we saw billionaires emailing about, you know, his perceived control over the black community. These are things that we see later on kind of manifest where we kind of see these people almost say, yo, Jay Z could just control the niggins. These are things that I think we should talk about. I'm not saying Jay Z is guilty of anything. Obviously, one thing that I think no one wants to talk about, I think is very hypocritical of all the political comments, not political comments, the music, media, or cultural commentators or podcasters is that,
Starting point is 01:28:51 hey listen, you know, you don't have to instantly defend Jay-Z. People have questions, and you should help clarify the questions, especially if you either know him or you've been around. Here's a few questions. Did Jay-Z sleep with an underage Foxy Brown? Is there something we're missing there? Did he sleep with Underage, Aaliyah? Did he meet Beyonce?
Starting point is 01:29:12 say these conversations about, you know, listen, I'm on Fortnite trolling the kid. They said I groomed. Well, I'm not fucking boys. Jay's ended up fucking some of these people. And there's multiple pictures of him and them underage, right? We all know with the Tiger thing. Come on. How can't we have like some type of, you know, conversation about that?
Starting point is 01:29:33 I think these days, right? Like, you know, I heard my man Joe Budden when, you know, that's how Drake wrote up that long ass thing saying I own a 737 and you own a modest house in New Jersey. Jersey, the reason why he wrote it up, Drake was upset that Joe Button was alluding to possible creepiness, not necessarily pedophilic, but creepiness in terms of Drake having some affinity for young women. Well, could that be the same thing said about Jay-Z? If we are now imposed kind of looking at these relationships, and it's not only Jay-Z, Russell, Russell Simmons, a lot of them,
Starting point is 01:30:09 but it feels like there's a protective, like, group that don't want to talk about that for those artists in that time. If it was an artist in this time, it would definitely get scrutinized more, right? You know, shit, like, I remember I was giving like a random example of like, you know, things that was happening in college culture when I was talking about Tiger and shit, they even get mad at, well, I guess people,
Starting point is 01:30:33 they get mad at Tiger, but they got mad at me. The point is this, how can't, How come we can't talk about? Was Jay-Z like a 30-year-old nigger that was attracted to women that were barely legal? Yes and no. We're just asking questions. These things seem like they're not, it's just no need to talk about it. And we get everybody like vehemently saying there's nothing to talk about here.
Starting point is 01:31:01 And that is the same kind of attitude that, you know, the government kind of gave us about the Epstein list. Like, if no one's down to have the conversation, it feels like someone's. hiding something, right? If any time you ask the question, you're now looked at and scoffed that like, you why the fuck are you saying that? While, again, if it was anyone else, right? Drake, you like him young.
Starting point is 01:31:26 I mean, Joe literally, again, I'm not, you know, I'm not, you know, necessarily called, not my guy here, you know, I'm not, you know, I'm not going against him, but I'm just saying, in fairness, like, Joe said, hey, listen, you're making music for a certain demographic. You'll stop hanging around these young motherfuckers and start doing whatever.
Starting point is 01:31:45 And he felt that was a valid thing to say at the time. We are now getting a lot of, not only accusations, but just narratives that might not just completely be all criminal in terms of factuality. But it appears that maybe Jay-Z did have an affinity for certain type of people. Could we discuss it? Like, I wasn't around when that was happening. I would love for the people who were around to kind of give some context. But none of them seem like they don't want to have that conversation.
Starting point is 01:32:17 If anything, they like to point to the most absurd elements of anything that comes out and say, you're an idiot if you believe that. Well, okay, cool, we get it. There was an anonymous tip that put him in a room with William Bard and Harvey Weinstein and stuff. But I think there, and maybe someone mislabeled a couple pictures or whatever the case. but I think it's kind of like indisputable that Jay-Z was around a lot of women as they were barely turning like they were 15, 16, 17, about a turn 18, and later on we hear or it's rumor that he fucked him. Like, we just want to know I wasn't around because somebody give us information. That conversation is a welcome at this point in hip-hop discussion spaces, I think.
Starting point is 01:33:07 Anyway, you could speculate one way or the other. I'm just saying that's going to create an Epstein-like, Epstein files like effect, right? Because no one's having these qualitative conversations, people are going to think that you guys are covering something up. So I'm just giving, you know, this blanket. Because I was waiting for people to respond, and I've seen some responses, and I'm like, okay,
Starting point is 01:33:30 I don't think these people are bad people, but I'm like, I know how this works with the public. When you tell the public, shut the fuck up and stop asking, or y'all are stupid for even thinking about this, people are going to say, okay, you're hiding it. right it is what it is um so one of the chat if you guys do want at some point tonight or maybe if not tonight we'll do it tomorrow uh we could get into the epstein files where Donald Trump is mentioned again you know it's interesting as people the same people that were saying who
Starting point is 01:34:06 that they piggybacked on the possible opportunity that Trump was in the Epstein files they made it seem like well this kind of means or suggests that he's guilty. Now, when they saw Jay-Z up in there, they're like, ah, that was bullshit. You know what I mean? So for me, I like to call a spade of spade. Like, so, you know, I like Donald Trump as a president, but if he's in there and Jay-Z's in there and Epstein's in there, well, obviously, Epstein there's proof. But whatever I think of Jay-Z, where there isn't much proof, I think of Trump.
Starting point is 01:34:40 So it's no way I'm going to think Trump did something when he's mentioned in the same file as Jay-Z. I either think they both did it or I think none of them did it. And that's me, I'm going to call it. I'm just be fair with it. And that's what I'm saying for the people who think I was dodging the topic of Trump being in there. No. Well, let's read it. Let's read it.
Starting point is 01:34:56 My only thing is, I want to say if, unless we have real shit that we could actually prosecute with, either Trump and Jay Z guilty or we just got to say, man, we don't know or they both ain't guilty. But they're all in the same, you know, the same ballpark to me, you know. because again the DOJ hasn't done any well we don't know other investigations they've done but they haven't like done we haven't seen nobody else get arrested right so like we were I think people are hoping there's there's a client list and people
Starting point is 01:35:30 who are also involved in sex trafficking and we get arrested however after Gila and Maxwell there hasn't been any other arrest okay so you guys let me know however Trevor Noah at the Grammys who he hosted you know I didn't watch the full thing he roasted Trump Okay, he had a couple jokes and, you know, it's kind of part for the course, but this is what he said. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:35:56 Congratulations. Song of the year. Congratulations, Billy Elish. Wow, that is a Grammy that every artist wants, almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense. I mean, because Epstein's Island is gone. He needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton. So, oh, I told you, it's my last year. What are you going to do about it?
Starting point is 01:36:18 Oh, wow. Now it's interesting, where has Bill Clinton been? He hasn't got a lot of smoke. Here's another one, I believe. Nicky, John Legend, Billy Alice Finnis. Nikki Minaj is not here. She is not here. So while he was taking jab at Nikki, also, you know, it was about Nikki hanging with Trump.
Starting point is 01:36:36 Obviously, Trump party took offense. She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues. Actually, Nikki, I have the biggest ass. I have it. Saying it, Nikki. I know they say it's you, but it's me. Whop, wop, wop, look at it, baby. Jennifer Huff. Okay, let's see. What else?
Starting point is 01:37:02 Okay, so was it only two? Maybe it was only two. Okay. I think it was only two. Anyway, Trump actually hit back on the truth social with a very long post, and he says, the Grammy Awards are the worst, virtually unwatchable. CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer. Now, chat, remember I keep telling you, remember I keep telling you.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Hold on. Oh, remember I keep telling you. Everything we're going to discuss from petty arguments to whatever, you got to think about business. This is how to think about the world. You've got to think like this to know how to move. Look what Trump says. He's responding to Trevor Noah. The Grammy Awards are the worst, virtually unwatchable.
Starting point is 01:38:09 CBS is lucky to not have this garbage littered their airwaves any longer. Why does he say this? By the way, I want to mention this other thing. Have you ever heard of late-night hosts Stephen Colbert? Stephen Colbert. He did a late-night show. I'll just read what it says. He's best known for hosting a couple.
Starting point is 01:38:34 Comedy Central News satire show and he did a talk show on CBS called Late Show with Stephen Colbert since 2015. Okay? So he was on CBS doing the late show with Stephen Colbert since 2015. He's a guy who has criticized Trump a lot. Trump don't like him. Okay.
Starting point is 01:39:00 Now, remember watch how all this comes together. Trump don't like him. He's criticizing him. He's on CBS. Let's think business. Who owns CBS? Well, CBS is owned by Paramount.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Paramount owns CBS. Right? So Paramount Global owns CBS. So CBS got a guy on there, Stephen Colbert. He dissing Trump. Trump don't like him. Who owns CBS? Paramount Global.
Starting point is 01:39:32 Remember I told you, Paramount Global had to pay out $60 million to Trump. And that was pretty much rushed and approved in a settlement. Why? It was bought by David Ellison, Skydance. They buy Paramount. Merger of Skydance and Paramount. This happened in 2024, okay? So now Trump gets his $60 million.
Starting point is 01:39:58 CBS knows don't fuck with Trump anymore. Paramount gets bought by Skydance. Remember, Skydance. Their CEO is David Ellison. the daddy is David Ellison owns Skydance which buys Paramount and the daddy is
Starting point is 01:40:16 Larry Ellison which is the big dog second richest man in the world Now what does this have to do with Trump's message Because Trump got these niggas by the balls pause I'm going to tell you how First and foremost Skydance Paramount
Starting point is 01:40:41 So remember Paramount Skydance That's now owned by David Ellison. They're trying to buy Warner Brothers. They're competing with Netflix. They're going through what's called like a lot of antitrust litigations because they're trying to say that Netflix is competing unfairly and them buying up, them buying up,
Starting point is 01:41:03 them buying up Warner Brothers is going to fuck up the market. Netflix is claiming the same thing, claiming that Paramount, which is also a huge company as well, they're trying to be a monopoly. it's turned into a thing where the government is going to have to decide, right? The government got to decide. Now, when the government got to decide on anything potentially, you know who you want to be friends with, the guy, right?
Starting point is 01:41:25 Donald J. Trump. Now, that's not why I brought it up. I brought it up because the reason why Trump says this is not because he got $60 million from them and then David Ellison's company buys it, is actually because during the time of Trump picking who TikTok is going to rock with Remember, Trump is very petty. Everybody tried to appease him to make sure that he would pick them.
Starting point is 01:42:01 Now, keep in mind, CBS pays the money already. CBS is under Paramount and it's now Paramount Skydance. David Ellison runs it. And here's what happens. They still hire this guy, Stephen Colbert, that's dissing, that's disson, um, um, Trump. Okay? Let's Google this. Now, now what ends up happening, okay?
Starting point is 01:42:37 By the way, he also blasted CBS for paying the money. Okay? He blasted them. What essentially happened is that as they're hoping that Trump picks the right people for TikTok, they stop putting certain shows on air. So it's really more complicated. I'm trying to simplify it, right? They basically say, you know, if any odds start,
Starting point is 01:43:03 start fucking with Trump like making jokes about him shit like that you know what I mean if you don't like y'all like whether it's like a Jimmy Kimmel or whatever the case is
Starting point is 01:43:09 it happened to Kimmel Jimmy Kimmel Trump suspended he basically like the government basically pressured you know
Starting point is 01:43:22 pressured the company to say if y'all want and this was ABC that got hit with this if y'all keep fucking with Trump you know your other business ventures ain't going to turn out too
Starting point is 01:43:34 good. Now, who owns Trump? No, who owns ABC? ABC, I believe is owned by Disney. Who owns ABC? ABC's owned by Disney, Walt Disney. Okay? At that time, Disney was also trying to do some things with, you know, they got Disney Plus, but they were also trying to, they were trying to get the bid for something else, I believe. But they needed the government. And this is how Trump kind of plays, but I don't think it's just Trump. I think it's all politicians. Yo, y'all come. companies really need me. So really, Trump is,
Starting point is 01:44:08 he's kind of like throwing these smoke signals, right? CBS is lucky not to have this on their airwaves anymore. The guy who now runs CBS is Trump's homie,
Starting point is 01:44:17 or not really homie, but yeah, the host Trevor Noah is almost as bad as Kimmel. Why is he bringing up Kimmel? Because he stepped on Kimmel, right? ABC took Kimmel off the air
Starting point is 01:44:29 after Trump, you know, vehemently disagreed with, you know, why did Jimmy Kimmel get suspended? Let's see. The corporate company, Walt Disney, suspended production following the criticism of conservatives
Starting point is 01:44:46 and public pressure from the Trump officials. I forgot why he said something particular, okay? They said it was problematic, okay? And then he did return. I don't think he officially offered an apology, but he pretty much got, you know, he got slapped into submission. Do not talk about Trump.
Starting point is 01:45:05 Okay. So anyway, so this is why Trump is talking like this, right? He says, whoever he is, maybe as bad as Jimmy Kimmel in the low ratings Academy Awards. Noah said incorrectly about me that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton
Starting point is 01:45:17 spent time at the Epstein Island. Wrong. I can't speak for Bill, but I've never been to Epstein Island nor anywhere close until, and until tonight's false and defamatory statement, I've never been accused of being there,
Starting point is 01:45:29 not even by the fake news media. Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight and better get them straight fast. It looks like I'll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor pathetic, talentless dope of an MC and suing him for plenty of money. Ask little George Slopadopoulos and others how that all worked out. Also, ask ABC. Get ready, Noah. I'm going to have fun with you, President DJT.
Starting point is 01:45:57 Now, what Trump is doing, and he's a season pro at this, he's doing what Meg the Stallion failed to do. So in most jurisdictions, when you're dealing with media, you've got to give them a chance to correct themselves. So you can't just sue. So this is, even though it's not a cease and desist, it's pretty much a cease and desist. Like it will be pointed out in court if you ever sues this guy to say,
Starting point is 01:46:16 hey, listen, I alerted him that it was not true. And they're probably going to be some formal, like send some paperwork to say, hey, go online and apologize. Now, here's the thing. If we see Trevor Noah come online and apologize for a joke, he looks pussy. So like, you know, they're going to try to play that a little differently. But if not, it sets up a lawsuit for Trump.
Starting point is 01:46:36 And Trump at this point, he literally has the Trump card. He has CBS in his back pocket. All these companies that are trying to make major moves, right? And all these companies, this is another business or, you know, a business segment here. Most companies these days are heading towards being monopolies. So they're doing a lot of questionable things. acquiring other competitors, other companies, expanding their reach into other things. And at a point, the government has to decide whether they could continue to operate like that,
Starting point is 01:47:13 or they have to stop or they have to let certain things go. Because monopolies, you know, their rules against monopolies. But the way to get around that is that, you know, you need the government to be on your side. The government has to like you. Well, you know who runs the government at this point. So it's like, you know, these companies aren't going to back these. guys right so it's like if trump really goes against trevanoa i don't know what stations he's on but if trump really is that mad he could sue he could pressure them to get that motherfucker out of there
Starting point is 01:47:39 and whatever anyway that's just the business part of it anyway he was asked about this it looked like this was a press briefing or something of the sort this was in the is this oval office i can't i can't tell and um they asked me about trevanoa he said this are you going to sue trevor no last night in a post you alluded that something could Yeah, well, he said that, he said that I spent time on. Now, of course, by the way, Trevor Noah's defense, which I don't know if you would want to take it to court. Trump is so powerful, got unlimited amount of money,
Starting point is 01:48:06 and has a history of winning these things. You could always say this was a joke, right? And that's art. Like, you know, it's like that's the idea behind UMG saying to Drake, yeah, Kendrick said you're a PDF, but he said it in art as a part of, not necessarily a joke but disrap and that's a quintessential part of the culture and the music business you're in which by the way the courts agreed with and i don't know if we talked about it
Starting point is 01:48:34 drake did follow in the appeal but that's why that defamation got knocked out so trevor could kind of claim the same thing like hey i said it but i didn't say it matter factly i said it as a joke i said it as part of a stake and um you know it wasn't meant to be taken serious i never doubled down on it and you know obviously something over some eight o weights could be considered more of not necessarily a matter of fact statement as opposed to you being on the Grammys with a huge audience and you actually saying it. Some people might be like, that's not a joke that's you making a statement. So, yeah, we'll see what happens, but let me have him finish his statement here. Mr. President, are you going to sue Trevor Noah last night in a post?
Starting point is 01:49:11 You alluded that something could be coming. Yeah, well, he said that I spent time on Jeffrey's, Jeffrey Epstein's Island. I didn't. I mean, he's a lightweight. This guy is a terrible. I think he's terrible. I thought he did a terrible job at the Grammys. I thought the whole Grammys was terrible.
Starting point is 01:49:27 I watched part of it. It's not watchable. But he was a lousy host. I'd say, not as bad as Jimmy Kimmel, but pretty close. And no, he made a statement about me and Jeffrey Epstein. I have nothing to do with that. I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. And in fact, if you look at the DOJ, they announced, you know,
Starting point is 01:49:45 they released three million pages. It's like this is all they're supposed to be doing. And frankly, the DOJ, I think, should just say, we have other things to do because that whole thing has turned out. I mean, other than Bill Clinton and, you know, Bill Gates and lots of people that have, there are a lot of questions about it,
Starting point is 01:50:02 but nothing on me. But it was... Mr. President, are you going to sue Trevor Noah last night in a post... All right, all right, all right. Trevor Noah, you know, after laughing about Nick Minage, man, I'm telling you,
Starting point is 01:50:16 the barbs might be better than the CIA. By the way, thank you OVO, 1-08 for the 5. Says, I love acts breakdown. down. Okay, okay, let me see, let me see, let me see. I'll read your donation. Thank you. Chad, I'm going to start having like, you know, we're going to call the Lebebebe breaks. Okay, the water breaks. So, you know, if you need to go take a piss real quick or something like that, you guys, you know, I'll read donations at that time. Rather than just going through topics and then mid-topic just go into a read a donation.
Starting point is 01:50:48 Okay, the barbs are really good. I can't even lie to you, chat. The barbs are so. good that after Trevor Noah dissed Nikki Minaj, Nicky Minaj, you know, Nicky Minaj actually tweeted out and was basically saying this guy was gay, right? Or so, you know, and it was just a popular thing, right? We're like, you know, you and a woman get into it and she's like, you're gay, you know what I mean? Like, hey, you know, chat, like there's this running thing about me now. They say, yo, listen, AC has a little dick. If you and women get into it, you're gay or you got a little dick?
Starting point is 01:51:22 Did they call me gay? I'm Jamaican, though. They didn't know. I'm not going to be with them ting day. Isn't it like, and yeah. But whatever. So, uh, Nikki and her fans have now said, well, this guy's gay, right? You know, they call Chrisa Tegan a man.
Starting point is 01:51:37 She says she has a dick. And apparently the barbs have said that Trevor Noah is gay, right? And look, so Trevor Noah boyfriend. Apparently the barbs has found Trevor Noah's boyfriend. And they said this is a clip of Trevor Noah with his alleged boyfriend. It emerges after Nicky Minaz said Noah is gay. Wootty-do, okay? Put it like this.
Starting point is 01:51:58 It looked like Wack 100 got all the, you know, he got the files on the snitches, and Nicky Minaz has all the files on the homosexuals and transgender. Okay, so apparently this is a video of some random passerby or tourists that walked up on Trevor Noah with a man, and they're now claiming this man is his undercover boyfriend. Hey, excuse me, not to interrupt. Are you Trevor Noah? Hey, what's up, bro? Hey, you know.
Starting point is 01:52:22 Andres. Good to meet you. Dude, you look right. Hmm. So his boyfriend would be this guy right here, right? What's up, what's up, bro? Hey, Andrews. Dude, you look right.
Starting point is 01:52:33 I would approach you by your celebrity. Okay. Okay. Looks. This comes from Nikki Volt. Laughing my ass off. Man on shorts. That's definitely Trevor Noah's boyfriend.
Starting point is 01:52:53 friend, Nikki was right again. Okay. I don't know, man. Nicky Minnaz might be on a historical run, right? Generation run, Nikki. Huh? Let's see what she's tweet about now. Apparently she has a new interview coming out.
Starting point is 01:53:05 I want to hear it. You know, it's interesting. It's come to pass that, you know, sometimes perspective and also time really matters a lot. I think we all went from saying Kanye was bad shit crazy to like some things are happening and everyone's tweeting out now.
Starting point is 01:53:21 They're like, yo, Kanye was right. Kanye should I even tweet out today? I say, yo, Kanye was a good judge of character. Like, we're all giving Kanye praise now, but before we're like, shut up, you crazy. Go ahead some help, take her meds. And I ain't going to lie. There was a time that Nikki Menaz was,
Starting point is 01:53:35 you know, everybody would say, she's on hinged. Yo, what's wrong with Nikki? Nicky's off that Coke. And now, like, you know, some of what Nikki's saying, you know, some of it's coming to light or it's aligning with what we're seeing. And we're like, oh, my God,
Starting point is 01:53:46 Nikki was right the whole time. You know, people are so fickle, bro. People are so fickie. So anyway, this is part of her. interview that's coming out now, the timing of it is going to be interesting because I think people feel like Nikki's enlightened rather than crazy. Like it's very, it's a thin line between being called crazy and being called woke. Oh, he just knows. He's based, right? Or be like, you know, this thing is motherfucking crazy. I think right now people looking at Nikki has been
Starting point is 01:54:17 enlightened. But listen to this. Specifically, like, drew you in the most. Is it immigration? Is it the economic policy. Is it? Is it the green card? Come on. Actually, obvious. So what drew her into Trump? The green card.
Starting point is 01:54:38 Come on, huh? Religious freedoms. Gold car mean. What specifically, you know, answers that calling that you talk about? Definitely, religious freedom is something that's very important to me. But if I'm being honest, President Trump.
Starting point is 01:54:53 Ooh. Yes. Because when I, I saw how he was being treated over. You know what I realized that? Nicky Minaj had to endure the music industry for like 20 years, and there's so much bullshit frauds. Like, you know, half these guys are, you know, they're complete frauds.
Starting point is 01:55:12 They're all faking, you know, it's a bunch of facades. If she could deal with the fakeness of the music industry, and I'm not saying that means she's real or fake herself, but she had to deal with it for 20 years, you know, politics is same faking fraud. You know, just on a higher extent. And I think Nikki's kind of handling this pretty well. She's kind of, she's in the trenches with these people doing interviews, going on stage. And I think we see through it a little bit.
Starting point is 01:55:36 But she's blended in. She's, you know, the exception of one comment when she said, you know, J.D. Vance was an assassin. And she was saying it while standing next to Erica Kirk at turning point, which people are like, you know, her husband just got assassinated, whatever. That was like a fraudulent slip, if you asked me. Other than that, I think Nikki's going to kind of like blend it in. And over and over. I just couldn't handle it.
Starting point is 01:56:08 Like, because I felt that that same, you know, a lot of that bullying and the spare campaigns and all of the lying, I felt that that had been done to me for so many years. And I was watching it in real time happen to someone else. and I didn't think he deserved it And it made me think So they asked her what policy of Trump you like She ain't named one She says
Starting point is 01:56:32 I'm gonna be honest with you ain't of a policy They were bullying him And you know what They've been bullied me a lot For my career So I've seen some synergy with him That's my niggas So I'm supporting him
Starting point is 01:56:44 Hey it works I can't do this anymore Here's another piece She says you're gonna love this interview Barbs sneak peek you know it's so funny like i remember seeing you know and i'm not calling out if i mention names here you know when i'm calling them off i speak directly but but um van laythin and there's a couple other like you know some of these um podcasters like within the black sphere
Starting point is 01:57:09 like they were you know even joe joe was like i'm done with nicky minas and i'm like bro it's only you bro like the barbs ain't going nowhere like like like i think people thought that there's going to be like a thing like you know nicky could dis homosexuals and half her fans are homosexuals You know, the barbs are like brainwashed. Like, they're, like, if Nikki drank, it's like some Jim Jones shit. Like, you know, not Jim Jones, the 60-year-old podcast. I'm talking about Jim Jones, a cult leader. If Nikki Benaz drank poison, they would, too.
Starting point is 01:57:36 Like, so Nikki could actually diss them. Fuck you. And they'll be like, I love you even more, Nikki. Like, it's, you can't. I think, like, some of these podcasters were thinking that if they're like, we as black people are done with Nikki and her fans is going to be like, all right, cool, let's go. Let's go stand Meg the Stallion.
Starting point is 01:57:52 Fuck, though. Like, Nikki is their end-all be-all. You know what I mean? Like, they might not be the fondness of Trump, but they love Nikki. They're not going nowhere, okay? You've been recently very vocal about politics and social issues. Was there a specific moment that flipped the switch for you? Was it Gavin Newsom?
Starting point is 01:58:11 Was it Nigeria? By the way, I also want to say this. I've always accused artists of being a slave to their fans, meaning the reason why they don't speak is that if they ever don't align with their fans, they're scared of losing their fans. I've always said that about streamers. There's many streamers if they had an opinion that they're, like, they go off the chat. So the chat, whatever the chat says is like majority rules, they go with that.
Starting point is 01:58:37 They're kind of just molded and controlled by their, you know, their audience. Why? Because, you know, like being in art or, you know, being a musician or being a streamers, it's a really privileged job. And when you get an audience, like, you kind of don't elizabeth. it right and you know sometimes you tuck that individuality where you might differ with people or you might have to go against the grain and say no I'm gonna just either keep quiet that's usually the thing or I'm just gonna say something I don't believe and the very few people who
Starting point is 01:59:05 could say hey listen I love you guys for supporting me but I might not agree with you and I've always tried to you know within reason do that with my audience because I don't think you guys agree with me with everything but I think we could confidently in you know you know gracious disagree and I know you guys will be here tomorrow right like I'm not gonna lie I see I see I did like five emails or not emails DMs people like yo act man like I can't believe I think it was because I did a stream with sneak oh they're like you're hanging out with these guys I guess after the hell hit the thing in the video in um they did the video in uh some club and people I can't believe you're hanging out with these guys and I'm like so wait you've watched me for years and because
Starting point is 01:59:46 I did a stream with sneco like you're done watching me I'm like bro you should I wish you never started you know what I mean like again if you're gonna define if you've supported me for years and there's so many so many that have supported me for like a decade like if I do one thing that you disagree with if you can't just like disurn and say yo that's my nigga act but he bugging but that's my nigga though that's how you should deal with everything you're not going to agree with everybody on everything right if you can't do that like you should probably give up on like really kind of like supporting someone because you're never going to agree with everything or to have a fake version of them trying to appease you.
Starting point is 02:00:24 Right? So, like, I'm pretty sure the barbs are doing exactly what I would expect y'all to do. Be like, all right, well, she's tweaking for this, but I get her on these other points. Yeah, she was being bullied. And so I think Kanye does it. Nikki does it. Let me see, who else does it? Like, I, let me see.
Starting point is 02:00:43 Does Drake do it? Nah. I think Drake stays away from certain things like that. I think people wanted Drake to, like, be, like, you know, front and center with the, the Palestine Israel stuff and I think he chilled out DJ Callad they wanted him to to get on the free Palestine wave like I think he was just like yo bro I just want to do some fucking goofy ass dances a lot of people stay out of these things because they realize yo politics or being you know having an opinion that might turn off some of my fan
Starting point is 02:01:10 basis is just not going to be good for me right what's the famous saying Michael Jordan says yo when they said yo um are you going to support democrats or Republicans or I forgot what they asked. He said, yo, they both buy sneakers. He ain't saying nothing. That's what he was trying to say. And that's an interesting thing and a stance many people take, but there are a few celebrities that they don't mind going against their audience. And they know confidently, they'll still have their audience. And Nikki and Kanye, they're definitely two. You've been recently very vocal about politics and social issues. Was there a specific moment that flipped the switch for you? Was it Gavin Newsom? Was it Nigeria? What made you wake up, so to
Starting point is 02:01:50 speak. You know what, Katie, I think that people's steps are aligned or something and I texted someone I knew that said it out loud or texted it what people did when I was growing up but like I had this strong premonition my whole life that I had a second
Starting point is 02:02:16 job to do like and this was by the way, this was before I even made it in rap. Something inside of me just told me I would have another thing to do. And so actually, the first time I said it out loud or texted it was during the last campaign. The presidential campaign, this last one, I saw something and I texted someone I knew right away. And I said, this is a mistake. and I also said all of this is making me want to get into politics
Starting point is 02:02:54 so the last thing that really did it was me seeing certain things the campaign this recent campaign presidential campaign and knowing that I could help because the things that I was saying it was happening like I was saying oh this is a bad idea
Starting point is 02:03:14 or this is a good idea or just and the things I was saying were come into fruition. And so it made me think, oh, this is probably, this is easy. I mean, if it's this easy, then maybe I should do it. And then there was something that happened a few months ago. That if I wasn't going to do it before, something happened a couple months ago. I think that's to do with the Gavin Newsman stuff.
Starting point is 02:03:41 And by the way, I think she's also sticking into the Democrats. I personally believe that I could be wrong. I think if I think she was low-key slightly soliciting. Let me not say soliciting because I feel like I would be saying she's doing something that she's not. But I think if Gavin Newsom or someone came in and either issued a pardon or whatever to her husband, that's who's currently on a sexual register, sexual offender registry, which she's explained at nauseam saying that apparently he only got convicted, not because he actually did some sexual deviant, well, it was sexual assault or something of the sexual nature.
Starting point is 02:04:22 She said that it's because he was young, didn't have a lawyer, and also that basically was set up or something like that. You know, someone lied on him. And she's always had a different narrative than what, you know, supposedly, you know, has been accepted, which is different. We've never seen her defend her brother. If you don't know her brother as well, Nicky Minaj's brother, Nick Minhaj's brother, brother convicted and the details here are kind of horrifying her older brother jelani mirage was actually convicted of predatory sexual assault and child endangerment for raping an 11 year old okay apparently his seaman was found on like her clothing or
Starting point is 02:04:57 underwear or something of the sort and you know um he was charged and you know he she's he's never she's never been actually asked about that from my knowledge directly and she's never really asked about it she's never answered like directly about it um from what i've know and I haven't seen her like advocate publicly for him though right like I've seen her tweet and kind of like cuss people out about her husband and I've never seen her kind of defend her her brother so I guess it's one of those things where she may not go to bat for him and she might not you know whatever but she's not going to talk badly about him even though she talks about such behavior and she says is depraved and disgusting but she doesn't necessarily say my brother's a predator and disgusting. She just kind of talks about the behavior in, you know, in ideals, right? But her husband, Nikki Minaj, now I remember she was being sued by the woman that allegedly was the victim.
Starting point is 02:06:01 And, you know, in that lawsuit, which, by the way, the lawsuit, the money that she, no, actually, that was over a beating or something like that, right? Is Jennifer Houghton or something like that? Anyway, apparently. they're claiming, okay, so apparently, Nikki's claiming that there was, you know, targeted ways of people recently trying to file lawsuits against her husband, trying to get to her wealth, right? But she claimed the, what happened was that he had to register because of a 1995 conviction,
Starting point is 02:06:37 and Minaj always dismissed a concern stating that he was 15 and she was 16. So the idea of people were thinking was that he was an overage individual that, you know, had sex with a underage woman, and it was like statutory rape or something of the sort. And then she said that people shouldn't be plagued by their past. Hmm. And, yeah, she's, he did get, like, arrested again or placed on her house arrest for failing to register as a sex offender. And he was threatening an offset. Yep.
Starting point is 02:07:12 She and her husband were sued by a woman. yeah 2021 who accuse him to the duh yeah she's always kind of like you know she's always defended her husband and basically said that it's it's taken out of context of some extent not some extent all the way right because there's no some extent with that right i'll play a little bit i'm a house up dended her body up told my he doesn't see his mom for him tomorrow too okay she's talking about that's Brian there more than she's talking about the thing. But yeah, it's an interesting thing with Nikki. But I do believe that if Gavin Newsom issue like a pardon
Starting point is 02:07:58 or some type of political or judicial relief to Nikki Minaj's husband, because I do think that plagues her a lot. Her address is on a registry because she lives with her husband. And a lot of people kind of look at her and kind of talk about her in a very denigrating form because they're saying, yeah, you're the queen of hip-hop and you're this and you're that. but your man's a sexual, he's on a sexual offender registry, and that's vile, and that's disgusting. And even though she tries to give details and how this and third, there's
Starting point is 02:08:29 mitigating factors in her opinion, people don't want to hear it. Usually when people hear a conviction for sexual assault or a conviction or you being on a registry, it's usually like open and shut. And I think she's been trying to fight to get that reversed. And I think that's how it got kicked off with her, and I'm Gavin News, and Gavin Newsom was kind of like spitting in her face. Like, you know, metaphorically, when she, Gavin Newsom, Gavin Newsom, Meg the Stallion, not only does she not like Megda Stallion,
Starting point is 02:09:02 she would, Gavin Newsom posted a Megda Stallion song while trying to get at Nicky Minaj, when Nicky Minaj was slamming him for his support of trans kids. And the song that was posted seemed to have lyrics that may take, you know, I guess it was a double entendre, so to speak, because it was the song, where is the song? Okay, okay, he didn't post the videos, but he retweeted it. He retweeted it. And this was a song here.
Starting point is 02:09:35 And yeah, so Megan Law, which is a, you know, it's a federal law, but it requires people in the United States to make information about registered sex offenders public. And he highlighted the website that you could find about California residents with this Megan's law. And essentially, Nicky Minaz's husband's on it. So, you know, you can see how Nikki really hates this guy. This guy tweets out her op song where she mentions a law that, you know, ironically has the same name as Megan, Megan. but also that law affects Nikki's family because her husband is on that list
Starting point is 02:10:20 even if she thinks is unfair or not so you could tell I think that's where her political and I might be wrong because somebody tell me different because I've never seen Nikki get political before and I didn't know Nikki was an immigrant well I knew she was an immigrant I knew she was a immigrant I didn't know Nikki was actually I didn't know that she was born in Trinidad
Starting point is 02:10:37 or wherever she's from I thought she was always born over here most people when they say they're from a different country they're born here. Was Rihanna born in, where was Rihanna born? Was she first generation? Oh, she was actually born in Barbados? Oh, wow.
Starting point is 02:10:55 Usually when I hear people say they're Jamaican, I got to ask them, nigga, where were you born? Like, you know, Safari was like, I'm Jamaican, and then when you figure out, yeah, he has Jamaican heritage, but the nigga's born in Jamaica Queens. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:11:06 Like, it's a lot of people usually aren't born in the country, even if their heritage traced there. It's like a bunch of things. Dominicans, they're all born in the Bronx, but they act like that's their homeland. Well, it is their homeland, right? Whatever. Cool. So I think that's what it is. And we'll kind of leave that Nicki topic there. But Nikki has an interview coming out, and Nikki can't wait for you guys to go watch it. Let me see, is there anything else on Nikki? You guys can spam. You guys can spam anything if you want.
Starting point is 02:11:35 By the way, she posted up a Google Trends, which showed that Nikki Menonel Mnich trended, you know, way beyond the Grammy Awards. Wow. So there were more people talking about Niki Minaj in the last couple of days or probably, oh, past day than the Grammys. Wow. Okay, wow. All right.
Starting point is 02:12:00 And so I guess she's also clown. Remember, they were clowning her for not attended. And she's like, well, I got talked about more one that didn't attend than if I did. Okay. And she did throw a shot at the Grammys by saying, And as they do their ritual tonight, God Almighty will reveal himself to them. The ritual will backfire on them. God will not be mocked.
Starting point is 02:12:17 Bless is a mighty name of Jesus Christ. Every tongue that rises up against me in judgment shall be condemned and put to shame. Just watch. Okay? Interested. All righty then. Let me read a few donations. So just take a brief little intermission as I, you know, get caught up on the chat here.
Starting point is 02:12:35 Once again, and we're about to move to Blueface and NLE CHOP and what's going on with them. Once again, real quick, I want you guys to make sure you take note that we are in Miami. I look more and more like Rod Waving the more. I look at this picture. We're in Miami on March 27 and the event will be starting at 7 o'clock people. All right. I need you all to be there if you are in South Florida or Florida at all or if you're in a neighboring county state and you can make it here.
Starting point is 02:13:09 Again, we're trying to do a bunch of shows, but we're probably coming to one region only once. Again, the goal is to see the people who I'm talking to. It sounds and feels really good and amazing that I'm talking, you know, look at how many people says it in here now. Yeah, we've got 10,000 people on all platforms right now. Usually we're at like 14 to 15. But meeting you guys in person, that's the goal, right? You know, I've been doing this for a long time.
Starting point is 02:13:32 And if you've been listening to me for a long time, I'd hope you guys would think we'd damn there to feel like family already. So, you know, come on out. I'm doing my best to put on a great show for you guys. And that's one thing I'm going to, I'm going to promise. It's going to be an amazing show. I'm going to do a little bit of comedy. I'm going to have some guests.
Starting point is 02:13:53 And I'm learning from every show I do. So I think this would be the best one yet, from guest to, you know, run of show and everything else. Okay. So if you guys are in the area, please make sure you cop a ticket. It is in March. I think it's about like 50. 50 days from now, so hopefully we could have a good look out there. All right, let me go read some of the donations.
Starting point is 02:14:18 If I've missed any, I don't know. And then we'll get on to Enali Chaba and Blueface, which they're beefing. By the way, isn't Jay Cole's album coming out Friday? Am I tripping? Let me look. It's Jay Cole album. It's coming out Friday, right? Okay.
Starting point is 02:14:43 So I guess we got to do a listening party. Okay. Now, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going to warn you. So on that day, I guess we're doing church announcements again. On that day on the fifth, what I will be doing, chat, is that we're going to be doing a regular stream, but we're all going to go to Rumble. You know, not that I think there's real B for anything like that, but I don't have a relationship with J. Cole or his team. And I'm pretty sure with the comments I've said, and I don't want to capitulate to them at all. I don't want to have to ask his team. to whitelist by YouTube. So you know how it goes. If I want to do a streaming party because we're not on Twitch, usually I have to speak to the label.
Starting point is 02:15:25 And I'm pretty sure I could, but I don't want them to kind of be like, you know, act, we're doing this. Hopefully you react positively. Because I might listen to it and there's a steven pile of garbage and I want to be able to say it. So I'm not going to ask these guys.
Starting point is 02:15:37 And by the way, that's not the agreement usually, but I have relationships with those people. I have no relationship with Cole or Cole's team. So I don't even want to ask him. I just want to stream it. So I'll probably do a stream on YouTube, and then we're going to do the listening party on kick, okay? Or kick and rumble, right?
Starting point is 02:15:55 So we will do a streaming party for Jay Cole. Chat, I'm going to have Red Bulls on deck. I'm going to have, I don't know, 24-hour energy. I don't know what the fuck I'm going to need, but the fall off, I'm going to try to not fall asleep, okay? It is what it is. Anyway, let me read these. Mr. Chronicles TV, thank you for the two, brother.
Starting point is 02:16:22 It says, Act, tell Drake to drop that unreleased push-a-teen track. We'll talk about that, too. We'll talk about it after Blueface, all right? Let me just table that topic. Drake, push a T. Okay, good. We'll get to that. Perfect.
Starting point is 02:16:39 And, Wizley, YouTube, says, Act, we don't care about business. We just want to see Baby cop the plea. Well, chat, you know, what we're streaming every day. You know, depend on whatever you're into, we could give you a little bit of that pause. And, yeah, currently we're waiting on baby. We are waiting on baby. I, you know, I reached out yesterday. And I want to let everybody know I am pushing the, I'm pushing the gas on this.
Starting point is 02:17:07 I'm pushing the gas on this. Little baby agreed. Aiden told you all the agreed. It's not like, you know, I'm just fishing for something that's non-existent. but I really think he's not like that. I think he's lying, and I think he said that to save face, hoping that maybe I was going to in reverse back down, but I'm ready to sign on the dotted line
Starting point is 02:17:26 as soon as you could get this papered up and contracted up. So, you know, I sent out a couple of communications to the intermediary. Yesterday to say, hey, listen, brand of risk, you guys need to make these moves rather quickly, not necessarily the fight has to happen quickly, but I need to see, we need to start having these conversations that we could paper it up where we have signed contracts where this is not like some fallacy or, you know, two guys just chatting and, you know, we could work on the dates because it's going
Starting point is 02:17:55 to happen. And also, if you guys can't procure or secure whatever amount of money that might be needed, let me know if we need to go hollet somebody else. Because, again, the fight is not necessarily a thing that needs to be on brand risk if misfits or whoever else claim they got whatever little baby needs or to make this happen. You know, me, I'm not the problem person here. Let's get it on. You know, all pun to the MX, rest in peace. So that's what it is.
Starting point is 02:18:24 I'm in the stage of fuck all that talking. Let's sign the contract, right? Again, you know, fights take a while. It's cool. And by the way, I don't expect maybe to, I'm doing all the promo anyway. I'm doing all the promo anyway. Let's just, if you really want to fight, let's just sign the contract. That's it.
Starting point is 02:18:42 Sign the contract. That's all we need. So that's really what I'm pushing for right now if you guys are wondering. So I said the academy was down? Is the academy not up? Well, it will happen. Hmm, not sure. Okay, so what's the act?
Starting point is 02:19:07 This segment got some J-Cole NyQuilling on it. Well, that segment's going to play well on YouTube. I guarantee it. Joe, cut that segment as one thing. I'm telling you, it's going to be one of them. It's, you know, I've been reading the comments, and I do think people like when I've been, balance the bullshit and fuckery with qualitative stuff like brother like how much could we
Starting point is 02:19:27 which i want me to talk about you want me to talk about druski and skybury in a fake scripted relationship or trying to do it i don't know why druski keep doing that by the way but we'll talk about that you want you want to talk about that you want to talk about interlea chopas baby momas we could talk about that because those are topics too i got all the topics you want so if you want to talk about just bullshit dating topics you want to talk about some only fan shit we can talk about it but if you guys want some type of nourishment and enrichment i would hope that this could be a one-stop shop. You get music entertainment, music knowledge, you get some a little bit of gossip, you get a little bit of comedy, get a little bit of seriousness, you get everything. It should be
Starting point is 02:20:01 spiritually and entertainment rich here, all right? Okay. All right. And I said, where's my academics at? All right, so this guy is trolling. He's trolling. Okay, let's let me go to the academy and see if we have anything going on. Oh, look like it did go down. I don't know why. Why did it go down? Hmm. I don't know why it went down. Streams and I'm trying to look at it.
Starting point is 02:20:42 I don't know. Why did it go down? Yeah, the Academy did go down. Not too sure why. Okay. Tune Jr. says the Jews own everything. The mustache guy. All right, I will not finish that reading.
Starting point is 02:21:04 Okay. OVO 108 says, I like act, but he'll break down Jayzee and push a T accusations from top to bottom, but be silent on what Trump and Elon Musk said on them documents. No, remind me, we're going to get to it. Both Trump and. in Elon. We're not here to protect anyone, right? Like, we're the inquiring public. Who cares? All right. Let me just check on Rumble and kick real quick. And then we are back to regular
Starting point is 02:21:24 schedule program, people. I know it's 430. We're kind of late, but we got to get our shit going on. I'm over at Rumble. Shout out to just call me Percy. What up? He says, Nikki actually supported Mitt Romney. What did Romney run on? Mondi, thank you. He says Nikki 2028 Mondi says Maybe about to hit you with that Hadooking I hope you you spam him in the block button Hey well let's see
Starting point is 02:21:49 Shout to you guys there Let me see what's going over at kick And then we will be back to Doing what we do Okay All right Somebody says Cardi used AI
Starting point is 02:22:03 Somebody says What Cardi used A Where did you I get this idea That Carter used AI on rather lie. I've always heard that. He's told me personally, no, he didn't. Like, you know, but when I said that to the public and people hated me for saying it.
Starting point is 02:22:23 Like, I don't even know where y'all got the rumor. Like, I'm not in the Cardi lore, like the fan lore like that. So I guess maybe Cardi and knows that people think he did. He told me no. Who knows? I'm not saying he was telling the truth, but he told me he didn't do it. Why do you think he used AI? I'm not understanding. Hmm. Interesting.
Starting point is 02:22:45 Shout to everybody over a kick. Let's get on to this beef real quick. Somebody said, oh, we know who the actual artist is? Who's the actual artist? Okay. All good, people, all good. So real quick, let's get into this. If you guys don't know, it looks like Enali Chapa is into it with Blueface.
Starting point is 02:23:05 Now, we're going to have to, you know, walk this one down a little bit slowly. But Enali Chapa, he dropped a song recently. And his song is two songs, It's shot a flow eight or actually the music video is two songs combined shot of flow eight and set the record straight Now shot of flow eight is like a is the reminiscent on what he kind of blew up off which is shot of flow and I can't believe there's eight iterations But if you get to the second song which is called set the record straight he's kind of he's like he's doing a lot more dissing You know he's he's dissing young boy I believe or did this young boy in the beginning No, no he dissed young boy in the beginning of shot of flow right
Starting point is 02:23:53 Yeah, yeah, he does his young boy here, but then when he gets to set the record straight, which I think starts around here Yeah, yeah, he basically starts talking shit about his baby Malam, but I think he also does his blue face Let's see if we can play that part Here we go Here we go We put niggas in the box and show up in the counter like Let me set the record straight they buried out of facts or let me set the record straight before I'm going crab, bro Any problems with me better take it or with God
Starting point is 02:24:26 If you don't you'll be the first to meet them when I spark Okay Okay Okay You don't need it Use your head before we bleed Okay This ain't checkers

Starting point is 02:25:44 Emis, but they don't walk up a minute. If I put my strap and you pull a phone out, then your pussy Harris, count in jail. I almost have me on Central Bull. Yo, I mean, he's talking heavy still. We got a hoarse bay, you need insurance for police. Cracking foes with this K, I told it trip, had me my ski. Starting point is 02:27:13 I think Poushaisi just entered the chat. Got two feet in the trenches in the streets. Parkway Village where I beat. Cotton wood and cotton pick it. But I'm ready for a lynch. Nick, a place somebody die. And it ain't gonna be me, nigga. Yeah, I'm bet
Starting point is 02:27:27 Put this on wax Walk around like my nuts Fet Because they liars Tired up fighting with my self And burn People for some years Retort
Starting point is 02:27:34 I'm too hot week coming Every gun you see Did I miss the blue face this From tripping There was a blue face this Because I seen him react to it Would I miss it? Let me type it on Twitter
Starting point is 02:28:00 Nilee Chapa This is blue face It wasn't a song It was like Fuck a Blueface And he said he's Sue Wu or something shit like that. Here we go.
Starting point is 02:28:16 Now back in the day, they actually, you know, they were talking about some boxing match. I think it was over a girl. Let me see. Oh, and Blueface did this and back on the record. Chat, where is it this at? Chat, where is it this? Huh.
Starting point is 02:28:42 All right, let me see. This Blueface. Let me see. Okay, this isn't reacting to it. I think this isn't reacting to it. Oh, this is it Oh, here we go Here we go, here we're
Starting point is 02:28:57 Oh, okay, so now Give it to him Dilly joke Niggas This thing It's a joke To that bitch on you Nika fuck a blue face
Starting point is 02:29:04 D-20's gonna do We'll turn a Crip red set Trips Su Woo Oh shit Oh shit Oh, okay
Starting point is 02:29:09 So now Blueface And Oh wow Yo, this girl's Everywhere, bro Yo Yo
Starting point is 02:29:17 Oh man, all right Whatever So the blue face is reacting to it. Yeah, turn the clip Red sit. Yeah, how many times he won't rap about his girlfriend's eating his ass? Yo, if you're dating his girlfriend now, right? Or like his baby mama, if you're dating
Starting point is 02:29:51 NLEC chaplain's baby mama and this is like the third time he's rap, that his baby mama's used to eat his ass. Are you kissing her or no? Yes and no. If this is the third time, this is the third time he's publicly wrapped that his baby mama used to eat his ass and you're dating his baby mama now.
Starting point is 02:30:12 And his baby mama comes, like, that's your girl now or whatever. And she comes over to kiss her. Are you kissing her? Oh, people say yes. Okay. It's a little childish question, but whatever. All right.
Starting point is 02:30:25 So, cool. So Blueface is reacting. Let's see what's this reaction. Why did he dis you? I ain't gonna lie to you, man. There's nothing that will hype you up more than a girl kind of looking at you like, I thought you're like that.
Starting point is 02:30:40 Like, why are people talking about you? Like, yo, a girl would make you feel mad pussy. Like, she knows probably nothing about rap with all due respect to her. But this is why niggas go to jail. Because when a girl start, be like, yo, start like looking at you like less than. Like, yo, why are you playing with you like that?
Starting point is 02:31:00 Why are you acting like you pussy? Just look at blue face and look at her. This is classic like, yo, this is how niggas be like, you, I bet. When I see that nigga, I'm crashing out. Chat. Don't you have a song? You see?
Starting point is 02:31:19 They start saying dumpsh, don't you? I got a song? Like, this is why niggas crash out, bro. Chuck, yeah, I made that niggins career. But it's all good. You know how to go. You know, idols, you know. Why did he dish you?
Starting point is 02:31:32 What do he say? Now, the thing is, the women lack all the context. They have not really seen I die for a while. They did, like, one song together. It was kind of cool. But then I think we're going to go back into the way back time machine and figure out why they fell out again. But I love how she's playing it. What?
Starting point is 02:31:51 Why he did you? Why he say like that about you? Chad, I know he did not just say Sue Wu. Chad, and there are blood now? I'm confused. Wait, why did he disheal? He did that, chat. That was bunk.
Starting point is 02:32:11 He did that. That was winking. Him Thai. You're hilarious watching blueface using sound effects. Hey. Why? I'm confused. You know, you know, when people career stop, you know, progressing, they got to start, you know,
Starting point is 02:32:33 stressing, you know, exploring all the options. But chat, I love it, chat. This gives me an angle to press for the fade now. And if he turn it down, he's like fight? He's a bitch. You gonna fight him? You see, this is how a girl gets you set up for jail. Like, you see right here?
Starting point is 02:32:57 This, right here, this is how the girl kind of like gas you up. Oh, you're going to fight it? Oh, you're going to knock him out? Like, women get off to this. And then now you got to do it because, like, you know, she's kind of expecting it. On stream? Look, look, see? What's his fucking man?
Starting point is 02:33:17 On straight? Yeah, you see how they're excited? I'm telling you, chat. You know women like this, bro. Yeah. Like, they're so excited. So now you got to stand on it, and now you got to, like, act super tough.
Starting point is 02:33:30 Look, see? Now, he's doing the most. Now he's doing the most. Now he's doing the most for them. Watch, watch, watch, watch. He doing the most of them. Look, look. Put that shit out, okay?
Starting point is 02:33:39 Yeah, see? Look, he started throwing fake punches and shit. That's what happened when a girl. in the room, bro, with all due respect. Try that, nigga. I'll try that, nigga. Like, I'll put baby oil on that nigga type shit.
Starting point is 02:33:53 Wait, what? Bro. That's a little bro right there. Not too, like, he cute. He cute. Yeah, like, how you said here, like, how you ain't on text, you'll try a nigga, like.
Starting point is 02:34:09 Yeah, you feel a nigga like that? That's how I see him. Like, I'll try that, nigga. What you mean he cute you'll try him? Like, I'll put baby oil on that nigga type. Wait, this isn't about fighting anymore, right? Maybe, LA niggas got a weird way of talking. Yo, he's cute.
Starting point is 02:34:31 I'll try him. I'll put baby all on it. Wait, hold on now. That's a little bro right there. Not too, like, he cute. Huh? Yeah, like how you said here, like, Froots.
Starting point is 02:34:46 You know what I mean? Nicky like that? That's how I see him. Like, I'll try to. that nigga. Froops. Like, I'll put baby oil
Starting point is 02:34:55 on that nigga type shit. Froops. Mm-hmm. Froops. Frobes. Froats. Baby oil. I don't get it.
Starting point is 02:35:05 Frobes. You remember when Blueface said he having fun in jail? I thought he was so much of squabbling. Remember at one point he said, oh, man, I love it here. Yo, this one time
Starting point is 02:35:28 Blueface was in jail, he said, I love it here. Now he's coming out and saying, niggas cute he'll try and put baby all on it wait hold on blue face y'all remember when he said that i was thinking he was so my fighting look i go to jail for hold on he came out of jail saying this let me go bro that's little bro right there he licked his lips now this is crazy no he cute yo he licked his lips and said the man cute hold on like he cute yeah like how you said here
Starting point is 02:37:00 like how you ain't like that's you're trying nigga like yeah you feel me nigga like that that's how I see him like I'll try that nigga
Starting point is 02:37:13 I'll try him what the fuck does that mean try him Froop swoo swoo like I put baby oil on that nigga type shit
Starting point is 02:37:30 frokes I'm I type of thing you just put baby oil All right, so he responded like that Now Now Wait, why did he dishe? If he turned it down
Starting point is 02:38:08 Like fight Okay Now After he said that, I don't know if he said more stuff Did he say more stuff? Hold on, let me just look Enelie Chopper responded today But before, let me see if he said anything else
Starting point is 02:38:30 I'm a re-spirer With a little cute ass Whoa Whoa Is this your AI Yeah, don't mean She in the back try to figure out What you mean his cute ass?
Starting point is 02:38:53 Wait, hold on Look at her face You know, I'm a re-spirer With a little cute ass Look at her face face. Look at her face right here. Chat.
Starting point is 02:39:07 I don't have blue face been locked up too long, but look at her face. You know, I'm a respond. Look at her face. With a little cute eyes. She's too scared to say them. What's her name? Not like that, but what's her name?
Starting point is 02:39:32 Is she one of the little streamers, streamers? She don't know what to say. I can tell you, she's having real reaction, so that's what I ask. Cute eyes. Oh, yeah, she's like. Cute ass. This is not the Aspen one, right?
Starting point is 02:39:48 This is not a dog-beaten one, right? Yeah. She really wouldn't be like, that shit gay, bro. A nigga cute. A nigga cute. Froop. This was cute. Like, he's the type of thing I put in the head
Starting point is 02:40:11 like to give my niggies. Like, that's a little bro. A little bro right there. You know, I'm a respirer. How you said here, like how you went hand on tests, you're trying, like that. Yeah, you feel like a nigga like that? That's how I see him, like, I'll try that, nigga. Like, I'll put baby oil on that nigga type shit.
Starting point is 02:40:34 Yeah, that's crazy. That's crazy. Who the fuck in that they chopper this? Soterflow, hey. Nika this still doing ShottaFlo? Come on, chat. I hope he ain't got so. I hope his career ain't that bad.
Starting point is 02:40:52 We got to do Shatter 48. Why? I'm confused. You know, you know when people career... Hmm. interesting interesting wow
Starting point is 02:41:19 now the response came rather quickly and I do want to comment before I say anything you know I know I know people think that me and blueface are into it
Starting point is 02:41:35 I'm not I spoke about advice to artists who were focused on selling the products of music. And Blueface, like a hit dog that hollered, jumped up and thought I was talking to him. With all due respect, let me give you the lay of the land right now. Blueface, I think you're a good streamer.
Starting point is 02:42:01 You're starting to figure out your natural flow. I'm giving you props. You're a good streamer. I believe you quit as being a just full-time musician years ago. before the reality show and the relationship. You've always been like this, you're a character. And whatever you do, reality TV show, streaming, it's probably going to work. You're like, you're funny.
Starting point is 02:42:28 So when I had said my comment about rapper streaming, I wasn't talking to you at all. Like, you should stream. Like, I think you should. I think you're going to be a good streamer. Why? I've seen that, you know, part of streaming is being self-deprecating. I don't think you have that much of a problem with that. I see you expose in parts of your life.
Starting point is 02:42:47 And yeah, that's kind of part of streaming too. And you don't give a fuck. Like, I see, you know, you, like, you're checking your mom or your dad. That's content. I see, like, the girls and users keep it a hundred. Like, that's great content. So I think in the streaming world, you're going to work out where many other people can't, because you can't be a cool streamer that's not really, like, delving into it.
Starting point is 02:43:11 Like, you know, I don't want to say face deep pause after the shit you said. But yeah, so I think you're going to be a good streamer. But also, I'm not going to take anything away from NLLHHapa. NLie Chapa is still really committed to making music. And I want to give NLie Chapa this credit. And I know he is like, you know, been dissing young boy a lot. But I want to say right now for the younger artists, NLE Chapa is one of the most creative or he's trying to be one of the most creative artists.
Starting point is 02:43:39 and we can't do both things, right? We can't, I don't want to be the guy who's saying everybody sucks and then not give somebody who's trying credit. And Ali Chapa, as one of the younger artists, he's being or trying to be the most creative of the bunch right now with videos, with concepts, he's trying to do different type of songs, he's trying to be nostalgic, he's trying to do a lot of shit.
Starting point is 02:44:06 And even if everything doesn't connect, you know, We can't just shit on him and say, don't try. At least he's still trying, right? So I want to give him credit for him consistently keeping the foot on the gas when it comes to music. Blueface, music, I think, is your side gig at this point. It's like a weekend job. And I think you're good at streaming. So I have no problem with what both y'all are doing.
Starting point is 02:44:31 And I actually support what both y'all are doing for y'all own situations. But let's hear what N.L.E. Chop has to say to Blueface. identity crisis My have y'all Yeah y'all talking about Chalk have an identity
Starting point is 02:44:45 crisis Man have y'all seen that duck-ass nigger face What the fuck This bitch got every brand

You're trying to be the best one. most loked out and it's just you imagine trying being the best gangster the most loked out in the

Hey, bro, you're really one of them type guys. I ain't one of them type guys. You feel me? Oh, you're talking about homosexuals? I ain't never fucked out with no, man. Feel me? See, you're trying to play that shit. Like, that shit means something. Like, this shit gonna affect me. I've been going through that shit for a little minute and now.
Starting point is 02:47:07 be saying what they say. But, bro, I got some, you what? He ain't never did that. He ain't never did one of those. See? What's on? He ain't cut that?
Starting point is 02:47:36 He ain't cut like that, though. Yeah. For real. Stamped it. Camp it, flamp it, camp it, peck. What is he talking about? Sometimes I don't be known in chat. Is that the, did you go on IG lot?
Starting point is 02:48:09 I don't see where these are posted. What are you, man? They don't want to play with that But we really know what going on Hey bro, you really one of them type guys I ain't one of them type guys Are they being fun with like who's gay Or who's gayer?
Starting point is 02:48:22 What's going on? You feel me? I ain't never fucked out with no man Feel me See, you're trying to play that shit That shit means something Like this shit gonna fit me I've been going through that shit for a little minute
Starting point is 02:48:36 Now people be saying what they say But bro I got some you want He ain't never did that He ain't never did one of those See He ain't cut that He ain't cut like that though
Starting point is 02:49:08 Yeah For real Stamped it Ampet flamp it camp it Yeah I want to play man Interesting Okay I'm tight guys
Starting point is 02:49:21 Interesting All right So it appears that that's his response. I don't know if they're beefing over who's gay or whatever. I guess it's out on both sides. Blueface is saying he's cute. Blueface say he would put some baby oil on him.
Starting point is 02:49:41 He would try him. But he also said he would fight him. And, and Ali Chopper is saying he's not like that, and he never did one of those. I don't know if they're talking about a murder? Like, I hate to say that's how mad police say. They're like, what is he talking about?
Starting point is 02:49:54 Shooting? because Blueface did go to jail for shooting somebody. He shot him in a hand. Well, you didn't go jail for that. He went to jail. You got put on probation and then he violated probation. So I don't know. I mean, I don't know if they're flirting.
Starting point is 02:50:09 I don't know if this is sexual tension or they want to fight. It appears that Blueface always kind of wants to fight. I don't know if Enelie Chapa wants to fight. They were supposed to fight before. Remember they started beefing like way before? Anali Chapa Blueface beef. Let's get like the context that it would be from back in the day.
Starting point is 02:50:28 Oh, and actually a month ago, look like this has been kind of carried on to. Here we go. Oh, Blueface had called him a clown. Why do you fall out with a little baby and Ellie Chopper offset? Remember we talked about it earlier that conversation had sitting down
Starting point is 02:50:41 having a conversation. Yeah. Shit, like I said, when it's hot, these men are respectful, you know? When you lit, they know how to act. A second year shit,
Starting point is 02:50:52 you know, which everyone does, even those people are. at that moment right now when it gets rocky start acting funny when you say acting funny what they didn't call they didn't write they didn't know feature they didn't want to hop on it they did they don't they know blue face they just step out their body
Starting point is 02:51:08 as soon as I see that we falling out the second second I but you went in with the wrong idea you asked you thought they were your brother bro I let's get some Italy well but you learned though if you not even just down
Starting point is 02:51:22 at least down enough for you not to go against me. Oh, yeah. If you video calling me, look, I don't know blue face. No, I ain't trying to convince you. I'm trying to convince you you have the, and I get it.
Starting point is 02:51:36 We've all been there. Man, that's my brother, we cool, yada, yada, yada. You're trying to say I'm taking it too personal? Yeah. Well, that's what they look at. You can't give them no more money. You see how they did that? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:51:52 They're looking at you and say, well, you can't break us no more money. Yeah, but that's not cool. They weren't your brothers to begin with. When you were hot, they were your brothers. That's still not cool. Yeah, that's Stephen A brother. What are you trying to convince me, chef?
Starting point is 02:52:09 No, I ain't trying to convince you. I'm trying to convince you. You had the, and I get it. We've all been there. Man, that's my brother. We cool yada yada yada. You're trying to say I'm taking it too personal? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:52:20 Don't comment. Yeah, you don't step out your body. See something online? You feel like spoke out of pocket. You feel like you spoke out of pocket. Yeah, if you see my girl or you see something online, you don't, you know, you don't comment. Yeah, you don't step out your body. NLEA Chapa, NBA young boy, seemed to have a back and forth going on.
Starting point is 02:52:38 What are your thoughts on that? Are you cool with N.L.E. Chapa. I don't know if you know NBA. Yeah, yeah, I've spoken to a bro before. I mean, I don't know. And at least been asking for it for a long time, so. You got beat with that man. What, because he made?
Starting point is 02:52:53 Because he put the phone up there And he got some bronze Because he knew you And now you're feeling some type of way No The only reason I felt the type of way When he went online and started You know
Starting point is 02:53:06 Defending Whoever I was dealing with at the time You know It's like why would you do that Oh you're just trying to jump on a train Get a little buzz going You don't got to do that game Right
Starting point is 02:53:18 But that's how NLE is Kind of like a clown to this shit Whatever they say do be gay be Muslim be a vegetarian vegan he gonna do it okay he's going through a lot of phases that's all he's growing up but when he looks back he's gonna realize you know a lot of the lot of these phases were yeah he uh he had a real one yeah and you know young boy he ain't he didn't he didn't already went through his phases so it's like mm okay so this so that that's what he had but did went back and forth back in the day
Starting point is 02:53:57 let's see if we could figure that out here we go here we go my bitch or run afa with me before blue face saying less box who can set up celebrity so only each other said let's box who can set up a celebrity boxing match in Vegas hit me ASAP he undefeated versus woman
Starting point is 02:54:15 I don't respect a nigga that put his hands on him anyway I think it was after a video that came out of him supposedly getting aggressive with maybe kishon and he said finally we got one Every boxing match in Vegas men. It only led to more drama. So here we go. I don't ask why.
Starting point is 02:54:30 Like, my bitch are running af with me before any of you rap things. And that's crazy. That's crazy. Like, I already see any league at Coffey. Talked to his mommy. His mommy was like, I don't think it's a good idea. And he was probably like, yeah, you're right. I kind of got my ass kicked on camera about three or four times already.
Starting point is 02:54:50 I don't think I should publicize it and make it a thing. So let me, this nigga, talking about negotiation. Niggia, it's time to squabble up. You talk about a negotiation, nigga. What you want, a Honda Civic? We got whatever is to be negotiated, but we know what that means. You're going to outpriced yourself. You're going to do all this.
Starting point is 02:55:12 That's a little baby right there. That's a little baby right there. Make it a thing. So let me, this nigga, talking about negotiation. Niggas, it's time to squabble up. You talk about a negotiation, nigga, what you want, a Honda Civic? Nogging, what you? I'm about to post it.
Starting point is 02:55:27 Instagram and tag little baby, man. For real, man. And he was probably like, yeah, you're right. I kind of got my ass kicked on camera about three or four times already. I don't think I should publicize it and make it a thing. So let me this nigga talking about negotiation. Niggins, it's time to squabble up. Nick, you talk about a negotiation? What you want? A Honda Civic? We got whatever is to be negotiated. But we know what that means. You're going to outpriced yourself. You're going to do all this relevant. I need. I need. this you don't that's the fact nah chat i need this clip i gotta post my instagram i gotta post it i got tag little baby this is the facts that they agreed to the fight but watch he won't be like
Starting point is 02:56:12 yo yeah i was nothing you know what you're saying i was done i just not i just i just can't get all the money i just they can come into the table now but fuck all that niggum what you want a honda civic or something nigga stop squabble up nigger let's quobble up Nica, nah, no, I respect that. That's crazy. Like, I already see any league at Coffey. He talked to his mommy. His mommy was like, I don't think it's a good idea.
Starting point is 02:56:38 And he was probably like, yeah, you're right. I kind of got my ass kicked on camera about three or four times already. I don't think I should publicize it and make it a thing. So let me this nigga talking about negotiation. Niggins, it's time to squabble up. Nigger, you talk about a negotiation? What you want, a Honda Civic? We got whatever is to be negotiated, but we know what that means.
Starting point is 02:57:01 You're gonna outpriced yourself. You're gonna do all this relevant. I need this, you don't. But you ask for it. No sense. Just say you don't wanna squabble up. I can't believe this, cuz, cause you could already see niggas energy. When shit get put together, hell, you could already see it.
Starting point is 02:57:20 And I can see it. Cuds don't wanna squabble. Like, these niggas are so booed. Like, cuh. Imagine me popping it to a nigga online. Like, nigga, yeah, I'm, nigga, anybody that can set it up, nigga, set it up, let's do it. Then the nigga start putting shit in motion and you're like,
Starting point is 02:57:43 well, wait, I didn't negotiate my terms of the deal. Like, what? You know everything is going to be contracted and written up. The flyer you're posted and you talk about negotiations? Right. That sounds like some peace treaty shit, like some water down. Like, what are you on? Cud?
Starting point is 02:58:02 Are we squabbling or not? Dead homies. Like, you niggas is pissing me off. I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go run a fade like outside. That's my fault. These shit pissing me. I might just go running like a random fade outside.
Starting point is 02:58:15 For getting worked up though, because that's my fault. You know why it's my fault? Because this nigga's a Muslim, a vegan and a Crip. So it's like a nigga like that. He don't even know himself for real because he don't even know like
Starting point is 02:58:28 that don't even make sense, girl. nigga you eat paninis and tofu and shit like like come old cut like I'm really oh crap oh crap bro you dick is really like oh my god like I never let the beef get cold
Starting point is 02:58:48 and that's why I eat man you're the type of a nigga they eat with your eyes closed I can tell type of nigga Muslim vegan and a crap who's gonna tell them that you can't be like all three of those at the same time
Starting point is 02:59:07 and not be you could be a Muslim and vegan right actually worked together and you could be a Cripp and vegan maybe the Muslim and Crip thing don't go together look that it's like a boop individual
Starting point is 02:59:18 to a real a real year I'm looking at you like bro bro you man funny as hell I want to even if it's funny but I'm gone just funny because what you weren't
Starting point is 02:59:29 to do to make me look like I'm going to go and go over the bag and out and fight this fight that I see his blue face under his post because he posted a fake flyer that has not been approved by nothing with a whole website on it so I'm like I'm like how is it I ask you to fight you get a flyer the next day with me and your face on it and I'm the one that asked you to fight so man's like you're on some cloud change and shit there's one people start coming on a
Starting point is 03:00:01 I'm like I'm like down bro I'm like you pulls in a flyer and we didn't negotiate nothing he says oh you say that you don't want to fight you get cold feed you back out to fight and want to manipulate the whole situation no nigger I'm just saying why is you posing my face on a flyer with a whole website you're making them money out real because people clicking and going to that website looking for this a pre-order or something and not even finding it so you false advertising know what I'm saying? Then, let's call the elephant in the room.
Starting point is 03:00:37 The elephant in the room is you've been boxing three, four years. So you already got three, four years. Yeah, I'm going to be honest, as you. Like, and I don't think it's anything that's, like, unmanly to say. Bro, I don't think nobody in hip-hop want to fight blue face. Bro, I think it's really been boxing, bro. Like, he's tall as shit. Now he looked like he actually got some weight on him.
Starting point is 03:00:59 He don't got that chicken chest no more. The nigger looked like, so he got technique, you know, bro, I'm going to be honest at you. Like, you ain't anybody boxing your blue face. Get out of here, nigga. You know what I mean? Like, get out of here. Experience is boxing. Now, I ain't going to say as a fighter, but it's a boxer.
Starting point is 03:01:19 I'm saying? You try to rich me in a ring when I ain't got nowhere near their experience, not even a month, not even three weeks, two weeks of boxing experience. You try to rich me in a ring So you can have it up Come on now, I'm not scared nigga, but I ain't no dumb I know this shit I still gotta learn of you this, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 03:01:42 I know what shit I'm still got to learn Before I ain't even still foot anymore I gotta know what you know You know what I'm saying? So you're trying to rich me in a ring You're trying to pull some fake fly You're trying to do I always to say that on the whole I'm scared if I got cold feet
Starting point is 03:01:57 Come on man Don't even need me neglects I ain't a lot. Them two should get in the box room, but I really think it's not fair with Blueface. Blueface is just too, it looks too dominating. But if I'm Enali Chapa, I just wouldn't even entertain it. But this is way back.
Starting point is 03:02:14 This is not now. This was two years ago. Situation like, let you deal, honey. I don't hit your phone, trying to hit you personally. You don't want to hit you personally. You want to do everything on the internet. How are we going to get something done to even get in the ring for real? So do I want to fight you?
Starting point is 03:02:29 Honestly, I don't want to fight you. you no more because at this point you just look it's like a cloud chase desperate time for you and I really stooped low in the beginning because I shouldn't even been talking to you because anyway who are you now like you need shit like this to stay relevant to make money you need people like me to feed into you so this my last video it's my last time saying something we want to jack let's set it up properly give me must to train let me do this shit the right way don't try to risk me in no fight for no cloud and say that I'm putting out of fight because I'm telling I'm
Starting point is 03:03:00 I'm calling yo, yo, brook, nigger, do you wanna fight, do you really wanna fight? You're posting a fake flying shit? From the Muslim vegan crib, not even a Muslim. Crazy, man. Man, look, bro, believe what y'all want, bro. I don't, I call those you out. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 03:03:21 Get my laugh video around, don't that talking around, don't like, we're finished, for Nito, leave me alone, please. I want to leave the circus then. Give me at your circus. Leave me alone. All right, man. So as y'all heard from that, Blueface felt like NLE ducking because he wasn't on board when the flyer was made and put out.
Starting point is 03:03:38 But Enali saying that he not ducking since he was the one that called Blueface out to begin with. But NL.E. feels like Blueface doing it all for clout and trying to rush everything and not do it on a degree terms. Okay. So that didn't happen then. I forgot. So it looks like there was a video, Enelie Chapa defending somebody. NLEC Chapa calls out Blueface domestic violence.
Starting point is 03:04:01 It was some domestic violence shit. Right? It was domestic violence. I'm trying to figure out what it was. Where he took shots at Blueface, but it wasn't just a regular diss. What did Blue Foxy? Not Twitter fingers. Didn't know one to send a poll.
Starting point is 03:04:18 Wait. It was definitely, I think it was some Chris Sean Rock shit. Right? Oh. Oh, he says he wouldn't work with him again or someone. that okay oh was this christian blue-faced and law oh first and foremost i just want to say i'm not trying to be on no drama type timing but i do know what you know sparks and triggers you know people to consume some content so i ain't going to say like that wouldn't part the reason but more so
Starting point is 03:04:57 on the real it's like trying to execute a certain vision like before y'all think like i just hate this person i hate that person like respect to blue face respect to christian but let's not let's call the elephant in the room christian is iconic but the end of the day 20s years from now, Christian Rock will be talked about. She's an iconic character. I don't know about that. It's so interested. You know, Chris Sean Rock was so much in the moment.
Starting point is 03:05:21 There's a time I thought really like she had all the black young girls like in a palm of her hands. And in the last year, obviously she's done a shift in life. But it's kind of, it's kind of amazing how quickly attention in like what we think is some substance in terms of this idea of celebrityhood. or, you know, influence, like, it fades. You know, I always say that, you know, being a celebrity, it's fleeting, you know, fame is fleeting. If you're not doing something to constantly renew it or maintain your status,
Starting point is 03:05:53 it eventually will go away, no one's is a celebrity in perpetuity. Okay, I'm going to be on hand at the face that idea. I came from a little Maboo, so y'all got to go blame him because he told me to do it. I said, man, hell no. Okay. It was beautiful working with blue. You know, it made sense at the same time because we both was coming up. We both was hot.
Starting point is 03:06:14 You know what I'm saying? He dropped his music. I dropped mine. We both blew up in the 2019 time stamp. So it made sense to get him apart. They said he looked like a bigger brother of me or whatever. So it made sense. I was like little brother, whatever.
Starting point is 03:06:26 So it made a whole lot of sense on how I ended up going to dissing him. It's just a friendly little war going on, I guess. You know what I'm saying? It's just a response to him mentioning me and a Barbie song. I just, you know what I can really just like let nobody just put my name in the song without, you know what I'm saying, responding. You know, I just hate that he in jail right now because you know what I'm saying. Okay. It began in 2023.
Starting point is 03:06:57 This is less box. I can't find the actual video. I'm not trying to play out of video of Blueface beating up a woman or something like that. But, uh, oh, the mom responded. I know he's chob a mama like a gangster, man. First of all, Blueface. Keep me. This is two years ago.
Starting point is 03:07:17 Keep my name out your mouth because I don't play with kids. Second of all, that's y'all on the internet playing two associates, playing on the internet, going back and forth. You time out some squabler,
Starting point is 03:07:33 if you time out, getting in boxing. When truth be told, God was joking anyway. It wasn't even supposed to be no damn match or no real fight or none of that. shit. Y'all playing on the internet and joking. Now all of a sudden, you want to get on the internet and say all this other shit when you knew that wasn't an ordeal in the first fucking place.
Starting point is 03:07:58 Third of all, I'm gonna play this right here to even prove why you're trying to say, your mommy said you can, you can do no boss. It ain't had shit to do with me because I ain't know nothing about your ass posting shit about no fucking boss. Okay, all right. All right, so we kind of see where that's coming from. Not really, you know, too interested, but they're into it, y'all. They are into it. What is Christian?
Starting point is 03:08:25 Okay. What are the topics we're getting into? Rich the kid records Stefan Diggs X getting into it? Boss man Dilo? No. Who is this? Russell Simmons. Who the heck is this?
Starting point is 03:09:00 Okay. Spam up some new topics. I could definitely get through. I know it's 5 o'clock on the East Coast, but I could try to get through a couple more. Again, once again, apologies for the late starts to stream. I'm trying to give y'all, you know,
Starting point is 03:09:17 a little bit bang for the buck. I know we did also take an hour on some business stuff. By the way, what the fuck? Hey, yo, yo chat, respectfully. And this is why, like, this is why so many people like, you know, when I tell you that, like, Like, even if these rappers beefing with me, like, I could still just extort them. It's not really extortion, but like, I've never tweeted this.
Starting point is 03:09:46 Whatever this individual is, somebody's running promo claiming that I tweeted this. I never tweeted this. So I'm not here to shit on this artist, but I was courtside and Stephen Victor walks up to me and we dab it up. And he's like, yo, act, my whole office been looking for this kid. that you tweeted out this thing about. You know, we've been trying to see, like, if we should sign him. And I said, bro, I never tweeted that out. So I guess this is a promo being ran on Say Cheese, but it's a fake tweet.
Starting point is 03:10:17 Like, this is not a real tweet. Good marketing, but it's not a real tweet. And I'm really shocked that actual label, Stephen Victor has a whole label. Which this is why, like, you know, you see my detractors. They say everything about me other than, yo, AC is the by far. the most influential nigga when it comes to music, right? They'll say everything else. They'll, they'll, because they hate me, right?
Starting point is 03:10:41 But I'm telling you the truth. First of all, this is a fake tweet. I never, you know, I'm not shit on the artist, but it's a fake tweet. I never sent it out. I don't know this artist. And I'm courtside at the Portland Trailblazer game versus the Nix. And I see Stephen Victor, Stephen Victor comes over, we're dapping it up. By the way, this guy who's signed Pop Smoke, Drake, this and like,
Starting point is 03:11:01 back there when he was beefing with meek. and he's like, yo, I, my whole office been looking for this kid that you tweeted out that you were trying to find. We, like, so they were basically trying to pursue this guy. And I'm like, I'm like, what you mean I tweeted something out?
Starting point is 03:11:20 And I was kind of seeing it because I seen it on a few meme pages. And I think it's one of my meme pages I got to blame. It's not like I tell them what to do, but they're like, no, one of a page associated with you posted your tweet. And I'm like, I never tweet. did that. That's a promo. So, you know, hey, if this kid gets signed, I'm owed about 40, 50%. I just want to let you know because you got labels that are having their whole office research team
Starting point is 03:11:47 trying to figure out who you are to see if they need to offer you a contract because they think I was shouting you out. So I'm owed some of the contract if you get, he probably signed already. Who knows? Anyway, let me see what else is going on. do you want to get back to the Epstein stuff or you want to stay in hip-hop, right? It's not much going on in hip-hop. Shout to baby get you, right? I think I'm saying his name, right? This X, X, X, Extentation's son.
Starting point is 03:12:29 He's now sporting. The iconic and similar hairstyle is his father, and he did it for his birthday. Not too sure how old he told. He turned, but his father, X, X, X, Exentation, Jase, on Freud. he had the iconic I think this was Which era is this with the blue hair? I like it
Starting point is 03:12:51 And by the way I like it on his son as well Paul's I think it looks dope Right I think his son is gonna gonna turn out a lot like his father And I think for the good I think he's gonna see representations of his father How much he's loved and how much he influenced people And I think he would want to take
Starting point is 03:13:11 he wouldn't take to those type of attributes. So I think he's going to be a good, he's going to turn out like his father, but in a really good way, right? So shout to X, shout to his mom, of course, but also shout to the mother of his son, Gekhum. You know, I'm glad that she's allowing her son
Starting point is 03:13:33 to, you know, kind of embrace the image of her father, you know, who has been deceased. Okay, what is this? Dame Dash opens up a bowling alley. I feel like every time they put up a post about Dame Dash, they're trying to clown him later on. Right. Then he sell one of his businesses and they were like,
Starting point is 03:13:56 oh, people only bought it for $10 or like $100 or something like that. February 2026 is the perfect month. The first started on a Sunday and it ends on a Saturday. 28th is on Saturday It won't happen until 2037 again I guess
Starting point is 03:14:20 I guess All right What else is happening on the rap front You know I'm going to Shade Room next Oh I didn't mean to react to this too So Bow Wow said something And I was thinking about it I want to hear what you guys think
Starting point is 03:14:36 They ain't making good music It's simple And nobody making nothing timeless Ain't nobody making music that makes a ladies cry or feels some type of way when they put it on you ain't like it's a lot of right now music
Starting point is 03:14:54 you know what I'm saying even the biggest records it's big but yeah I'm gonna let's see what it's gonna be at at the finish line though yeah let's see if we can live in five you don't care about this record eight years from now you might be like I know because it's going to change music gonna change but if you make that that music that
Starting point is 03:15:12 it's timeless and you're write it right and it lasts forever you're gonna be here like it's a it's a difference you know what i'm saying i think that's what we miss we miss a substance we missing uh yeah and substance isn't a pre-record these days but what he's saying is actually absolutely right i believe the reason why records are coming and going and just either not hitting or maybe it's popping in the club for a little bit but it's kind of pretty much forgotten these days you know i've had a criticism of music in a sense of the the middle class of music music is becoming I mean, it's turned into a, one second.
Starting point is 03:15:53 Yeah. Yeah, so, what was I saying? Music is turning into, it's becoming like this proliferation of the top and the bottom, pause. And I got to say pause with that, but I hope you understand what I'm saying here, right? And since I'm the only one who's doing, so to speak, think pieces, I guess, in hip-hop these days, you guys could take and clip this, because I'm agreeing with bow wow. but I believe the middle class of music is out. So let me explain what I mean.
Starting point is 03:16:24 At the very top of music, you've got Kendrick, Drake, you got Jay Cole. You have Future. You have a bunch of artists, Travis Scott. They're at the top of music. We know what they're going to do. They're going to sell out stadiums. They're going to sell out arenas. They are the guys.
Starting point is 03:16:35 They're still the guys. Right. Now, obviously, we do expect and we are worried for the changeover factor because these guys can't continue forever. Of the people I'm mentioning, I believe Kendrick is almost 40. Drake's almost 40 Future is already 40 And when you think about
Starting point is 03:16:52 Who else, who else, who else? Travis might be the youngest. Let's just look at that, right? How old is Drake? So Drake is turning 40 this year. How old is Kendrick? Kendrick is turning 38 this year, right? How old is Jay Cole?
Starting point is 03:17:09 Jay Cole is already 40 And he's 41. And how old is future? future is 42. Now, I remember even Andre 3000. I forgot what age even said it, but he said, honestly, he fell back from music because he really thinks it's a young man sport. Now, I do think that the age range, and this is not an ageism type of conversation I'm trying to have here, I do think, you know, the age of music is definitely expanded. And of course, there's people who listen for different errors. So that's not really the conversation I'm trying to have.
Starting point is 03:17:40 What I'm trying to say is that there's a deletion of the middle class. So eventually that that top class, they're going to have to have a changeover because they're going to lose passion or they're just too rich or they're going to pursue other ventures. There's another conversation to say, do we have people to replace them? Because usually the middle class, somebody breaks out and gets to the upper class. Travis was middle class for a while and then he got to the upper class and he's been there since. Now, I'm saying class, but I'm just talking about tiers, right?
Starting point is 03:18:10 So the upper, like the top tier artist, which they're probably only five of them, right or maybe like let's say under 10 they're there what i believe has happened is that there's a deletion of the middle class of music what do i mean the middle order guys that used to sell around 100 000 maybe 80 000 those guys they're either all the way down or they broke out already there isn't a stabilization of the middle class and this is kind of like reflects the economy to a certain extent. As time goes on, without some correction, the middle class always get crunched. Like the middle class, what was considered middle class in the 60s and was considered middle class now is, you know, is very different.
Starting point is 03:19:00 Could you survive off of a middle class income then versus now? What I'm saying is that it's happening in music. Who am I mentioning? I'm mentioning the Polo G's. I mentioned in the Roddy Riches. I'm mentioning a little T.Js, the eight boogies of the world. I'm mentioning the money bag yoes. I'm mentioning those guys, they would be filling out that.
Starting point is 03:19:16 middle class of hip hop. They're not top echelon artists, but they're not bottom bottom of the barrel either. And those guys used to be those middle or the guys. What's also important to kind of like acknowledge is rolling loud
Starting point is 03:19:31 and its lineup is a good example if you're going to analyze that, right? Like you're going to notice, like rolling loud with all due respect and shouts of my man Tariq, and I will be at this event, by the way, too. Other than the top guys, you don't see much middle order guys. You see guys on the bottom kind of coming up coming up. The middle order,
Starting point is 03:19:50 the middle level artists have been gutted out. Now, there's a few still there, but think about how many middle level artists we used to have that are kind of just not really relevant anymore. I think that's why rolling out and book them, honestly, right? Yes, sexy red, middle, middle, right? Middle class. Boss man, Dilo, middle class, no cap to a certain extent, middle class. But the rest of these guys, they're, they're guys that, and when I say bottom level, it's not that they're trash, is that they're on the come up, right? So, like, all the middle-level veteran artists, they're kind of been gutted.
Starting point is 03:20:23 They're either completely irrelevant, or they got no motion, or they've given up on music, period. Right? So you're seeing a bunch of people there, and the only people who are escaping, like, I know you're going to be like, what about Chief Keith?
Starting point is 03:20:34 He's a legend. Legends, you don't have to even rank him. You know what I mean? So, like, for example, somebody like Kodak, like, yes, he could be like middle order if he's not like a top-tier artist, but he's, like, he would get bulls, just off being a legend.
Starting point is 03:20:47 It's Kodak. We're not seeing active middle order guys that you're like, if he drops, he's going to do 80. If he drops, he does 70, yo, whatever, whatever. It's either these, oh, we're teetering on superstar versus the middle order. And even down to be like, let's say somebody like Yeat. Like, Yeet, I think in a different era, would be like kind of like middle order, right? Now he's teetering on Superstar. He's ascended up.
Starting point is 03:21:17 There is no middle class of music anymore. Again, this rolling loud lineup isn't probably the best representation, but you could use it as a representation. Most of these artists, they're on the lower level other than the headliners, and it's not, as a disc, they're heading up. But there aren't like these established guys that you're like, oh, this guy's been consistent for the last four or five years. He's a veteran. He's still lit. Those guys have kind of like really dwindled down. And I think what happened at rolling loud, those guys have outpriced themselves.
Starting point is 03:21:48 They're not that relevant anymore. They're used to getting like $150,000 or $100,000 per show. And Roland Laugh probably said, listen, we're going to spend the money on the headliner. Let's just get a bunch of guys who are on the come-up. So I think the middle class of music is completely dead. Let me tell you what a healthy middle class is, right? Let's go back to Rolling Loud. I don't know.
Starting point is 03:22:06 Let's go to 2018 rolling loud, right? We'll look at this. The idea of a 2018 rolling loud. right okay this is a good one right here okay Jesus can we get the
Starting point is 03:22:25 fuck okay sorry chat alright here we go oh my god it's still okay here we go so like back then
Starting point is 03:22:39 yeah Jay Cole superstar Oozys kind of right there because this is coming off of um um Love is race too Then we have, these guys are middle order at this point. Young thug is middle order.
Starting point is 03:22:52 He doesn't really get to like kind of bordered by superstar status until 2020, which is so much fun. But we have ASAP Ferg. At that time, Playward Cardi was in that mix. Young Dolve, currency. You could actually see, there was a bunch of people who were active. Even young boy was there. Who were active on the scene that were viable artists, but they were middle class artists. And I'm not saying that they're trash.
Starting point is 03:23:18 I'm saying in terms of their status, right? Middle class, right? The naves, the Fetty Waps, the Trippy Reds, Chief Keefe at that time because he was more active on the scene. Rich the kid, right? That was middle class, right? We're talking about ski mask, machines on Kelly for show. Liliotti, perfect. And then right on the superstar stats, we would have these people like, you know, 21 Savage,
Starting point is 03:23:46 or Rick Ross or, you know, maybe, I don't know if who is Khalifa at this point, he might just been legend status, but like a Gucci, Kevin Gates. My point is this now. These days, there is no more middle class in music. You're either completely irrelevant or on the come-up, or you're a superstar, or you're a legend. There is no more, hey, I am the old, reliable artist, that, hey, I'll never be Jay Cole, but I'm like super viable.
Starting point is 03:24:22 And I'm going to, I'm like the consistent over the next five years. I'm going to keep, I drop, I sell 50. I drop, I sell 60. I drop, I sell 40. I'm that consistent guy. Those people are out of here. They're all out of here. The atmosphere favors a few of these artists that's teetering or at superstar level.
Starting point is 03:24:49 and everybody else is like on this come up like rat race on getting the next hit trying to build their new artists on that level two who are trying to you know just jump from competing among everybody to being superstars but that's that's even harder because there's no more middle class there's no more middle class chat this is why i think also rolling loud has been suffering the middle order artists are gone so put it like this you're Rod Wave is not a middle-order artist. He's selling out a tour by himself. He doesn't need to be on your lineup as a middle-order artist.
Starting point is 03:25:28 He's a superstar. Future. Superstar. Travis, superstar. Cardi, superstar. Young boy, superstar. Where are these other artists that you're like, this guy could do 5,000 venue,
Starting point is 03:25:44 like a 5,000-stop venue every place, and he could sell 40, 50,000 record. He's consistent. He has a name enough. And am I making sense? Am I making sense? No, no, Platt Boy Max isn't necessarily middle class. Plat Boy Max is he's on, he's on like that introduction class.
Starting point is 03:26:08 And if he lasts long enough pause and he makes big enough hits, he'll jump closer to superstard. Stardom. What I'm saying is that there's no middle level anymore. It makes sense, though, right? Like, we could talk about all these artists. Like, again, I'd say little Dirk was, you know, I'd say kind of, yeah, right around his arrest, he was a middle order type artist, right? He could sell like 100, and you'd kind of think, even if he didn't sell 100, he'd do 80. Those people are rear and far in between.
Starting point is 03:26:57 I hope I hope you guys understand that. So I'm agreeing with Bow Wow to a certain extent, and the extent I'm agreeing with him on is that, Obviously, you know, we talked a lot about business today, and that definitely affects why that is. So economics and also the business of music, and I do think touring has been the most popular thing it's ever been. You know, it used to be a big deal back in the day. You know, Kanye rapped about, we talked about it yesterday, Kanye wrapped about my big brother was Biggs brother, and he wrapped in the second verse about, you know, when Jay announced a show at the Garden. and that was like a big thing. Like he announced the show at the garden.
Starting point is 03:27:37 Like it was a big thing that Jay would sell out the garden. Like these days, Rod Wave does the garden twice. Like, you know, Torin is much more popular now too. You get what I'm saying? Like some of these guys, but it's only a few artists. The rest of these guys can't sell a ticket to save their life. And I think that's why Rowland Loud is suffer. Like, where are the guys that are going on tours?
Starting point is 03:28:02 Like, I'll look at a venue right now, right? popular venue in New York City It's called 5,000 cap venues in NYC Let me see The Paramount is one Let's look at that Is it Paramount?
Starting point is 03:28:22 Paramount event Is it called Paramount? Something like that. Brooklyn Paramount, okay Brooklyn Paramount Event Calendar I want to just see what rappers are going through there. Like, you used to have a lot of rappers, like, doing these venues because that's where the middle-class artists go.
Starting point is 03:29:00 They're the ones selling out the 2,000 or 5,000 venues. That's where the middle-class guys go. There's nothing wrong. And I hope people don't get hung up on colloquials. I'm not saying middle-class like these guys ain't good. I'm saying these things as this is what's. happening in terms of artists of a certain level. Look, we're not going to see no hip-hop for the most part.
Starting point is 03:29:26 Shit, Andrew Callaghan is going to be doing some shit. But where's hip-hop? Where's hip-hop? We're into March. Where's hip-hop? Okay, divisions here. There are MB. Where's hip-hop?
Starting point is 03:29:42 Where's hip-hop? We're in April. Where's hip-hop? We have Dave. Yeah, Dave is a middle-order artist. Right? doing two nights back to back, but where's hip-hop? Where is it?
Starting point is 03:29:53 This is New York City. Obviously, I'm going to pick another venue too. So now we're at the end of May. We're not seeing no hip-hop on this shit. Okay, so let me look at another venue. Terminal 5. Terminal 5 capacity. This is a venue that could hold 3,000 people.
Starting point is 03:30:10 I remember seeing Uzi here for the first time. Okay, let's look at their event calendar. And that's what I'm saying, the middle class is gone. right like how many times we're going here Kendrick's doing a stadium Drake's doing 10 shows back to back wherever Travis is doing like like a fucking country like we're hearing like some of these guys at the top
Starting point is 03:30:32 they're doing crazy shows but then what happened to the middle guys what are they doing? Like why are they on tour? Is this terminal five? Yeah it is All right I'm looking to see somebody
Starting point is 03:30:48 look there's no hip-hop no hip-hop where are they at okay let's go to another venue Sony theater Sony theater event calendar let's look at okay let's see get bob marley tribute but that's not you know like Torrey lanes would have been like middle class right look where's hip-hop at where's hip-hop it's not here and So if you want to like, and I know these guys didn't just disappear from the face of the earth. Half of them ain't putting out music. Half of them, like, they're kind of like aware that shit ain't the same anymore. And I'm just kind of pointing out that there's a deletion of the middle class of hip hop.
Starting point is 03:32:04 Now, let's look at this. Barclays, Barclays of En Calendar. Now, remember, there should be way more middle class rappers, right? Like, this is how it works. We call 1% rich, right? we call 1% rich. There's way more middle class than 1%. So if we have, let's say we have 10,000 artists,
Starting point is 03:32:28 9,000 of them should be middle class. 1,000 of them should be like that higher class. And what I'm trying to say is that, let me see if I could, is there a better calendar here? Okay, well, this is probably tough to use. You know why? Because the nets play there. But what you're going to realize is that you'll
Starting point is 03:32:49 see more tours and shows by the bigger artists than the middle class or so to speak who should have been middle class artists let's look at uh not barclays let's look at uh i can't use madison square garden either because the next play there let's get prudential
Starting point is 03:33:05 center events yeah that's they have NFL there but it's not whatever okay all right the NFL, the NHL is there okay cool Boys for Life Tour?
Starting point is 03:33:23 Bow Wow, stay on some reunion tour. How many reunion tours are Bowdo? I can't even hate. That's just fire. I don't see nobody here either. Let me see Madison Square Garden. Madison Square Garden. Actually, let's use Toyota Center. Events.
Starting point is 03:33:43 Fantasia. Oh, Cardi B is going on a tour, yeah. So we see Cardi B. Cardi B is coming through. Let's see. Millennium Tour is coming through. Not hip-hop. but Cat Williams coming through.
Starting point is 03:34:01 Who else? Not too sure what this is. Paiso Pluma's coming through. And all those guys are really at the top of the totem pole, right? Prince Royce Romero St. Santos. I saw them last night. Oh, Aesap Rocky.
Starting point is 03:34:21 Oh, wow. Aesap Rocky's doing an arena tour. Oh, wow. Shout out to Aesap. Maybe I'm sleeping on Aesap Rocky. I didn't think he could do an arena tour. And Doja Cat. So everybody that would be doing
Starting point is 03:34:37 in an arenas, like, they're top of the totem pole. What I'm saying is that, think about somebody who's a middle class artist. We can't find no tours they on. They're not, like, this is why there's just a deletion of it. Those guys, really, they've overpriced themselves, so rolling loud don't want to book them, right? Because, like, these guys aren't going to go from getting paid, you know, because just a couple years ago, some of these guys are getting paid $125,000, $150,000. Now, really, they're worth about, like, $40,000.
Starting point is 03:35:04 They're not going to take that, right? So Roland loud's like, all right, we're not booking you. We're not giving, like, pricing you for your name. You're not hot anymore. These guys don't drop much music anymore. They're not doing tours. And that's why we're seeing a deletion of the middle class, right? So for the majority of artists we're talking about, they're either, like, starting up and, like, they got a little bit of buzz.
Starting point is 03:35:24 But they're either here or here. We don't see a bunch right here. And that's the problem, I think, right? So I'm kind of grieving by a little bit. But, well, he didn't make that point. He made a point about substance. I do think substance matters. Right?
Starting point is 03:35:41 Like a lot of people aren't making music that lasts beyond a trend getting old. And these days, we're burning out trends like in a week. That's why we feel good when certain rappers drop. It's almost like therapy or like, you know, you've been healed from something. It's like, oh, my God. Thank God he's coming out.
Starting point is 03:35:58 I got tired of it. Probably out something I can just ride to and dissect and listen to and, you know, like, they ain't making good music. It's simple. And nobody making nothing timeless. Ain't nobody making music that makes a ladies cry or feel some type of way when they put it on. That's why Rob Wave was really popular.
Starting point is 03:36:21 You ain't, like, it's a lot of right now music. You know what I'm saying? Even the biggest records. It's big, but, you know, I'm a, let's see what it's going to be at at the finish line, though. Yeah. Steve, we can look at five.
Starting point is 03:36:34 You don't care about this record eight years from now? The problem with what Bow Wow was saying is that, you know, he's from a different era where it took a while to start up an artist. And after they invested in you a lot, they wanted these records to be timeless.
Starting point is 03:36:50 They, you know, there was much more care in creating these records. And also, you have to think about the future if you wanted to really be beneficial or you want to profit from, everything you've done. So you were really trying to think to the future with these records and whatever moments.
Starting point is 03:37:11 These days, if a motherfucker get hot for two years, technically it could be set for life. There's way more money in music right now. So no one is out here saying, yo, let me think about if my music is going to last for the next five or ten years. They're thinking as long as my shit goes up right now, I'm straight.
Starting point is 03:37:31 You get what I'm saying? saying? So, yeah. You might, like, I know, because it's going to change. Music will change. But if you make that that music that is timeless and you write it right and it lasts forever, you're going to be here. Like, it's a difference. You know what I'm saying? 100% of difference. All right, my man, prescription P got suspended. Who else? Okay, let me get to shade it real quick. Don Lemon talking about his arrest. Hold on. It was Thursday night when they came to get you.
Starting point is 03:38:17 Yeah. When they got me. When they're here and no way. When the popo came. You got to laugh at something, right? But again, it's very serious. I had gone to, I was here to cover the Grammy. Grammys.
Starting point is 03:38:30 I was going to do the red carpet. And I had gone to the Black Music Collective event that night where the importance of black music and artists and whatever. And the reason I cover it is because of the First Amendment, the freedom of expression and the art of music. is part of that. And then I'd gone to the Spotify party, and it's all young people. And they're like, Mr. Lim, oh my God, I love watching you on TikTok.
Starting point is 03:38:51 And I'm like, wow, that's different than my grandma loves watching you on CNN, so it's a whole new audience. And I got back to the hotel. I walked in with, I had my swag bag from the thing, and I was walking up to the room, and I pressed the elevator button, and all of a sudden I feel myself being jostled, and people trying to grab me and put me in handcuffs. And I said, what are you doing here? And they said, we came to a restaurant.
Starting point is 03:39:14 I said, who are you? And then finally they identified themselves. And I said, if you are who you are, and then where's the warrant? And they didn't have a warrant. So they had to wait for someone from outside, an FBI guy, to come in to show me a warrant on a cell phone. And by that time, I was like trying to, you know,
Starting point is 03:39:31 figure out what was going on to get my bearings and dropped, they dropped all my stuff. My glasses had fallen on the floor. I'm like, I can't read that. So they had to pick my glasses up and I read it. And still, what does that mean? You know, so, and then there was a bunch of guys, and they took me outside, FBI guys.
Starting point is 03:39:44 guys were out there. I mean, it had to be maybe a dozen people, which is a waste, Jimmy, of resources, because I told them weeks before, and maybe once or twice, that we would, you know, I think my attorney tried to contact them once, maybe twice, that I could just go in and it would have to be the folks who are just working there that day, and they wouldn't have to have all these people following me around. It's more than just a waste of resources. So they grab you and they take you where? Well, you're right about more than just a waste of resources. They want that. They want to embarrass you. They want to intimidate you.
Starting point is 03:40:15 They want to instill fear. And so that's why they did it that way. They took me down to a holding place in the federal courthouse. And they give you, did mugshots, strip search, all of that stuff? No strip search. But mugshot, fingerprints, the whole nine yards. Twice. Did they put you in a cell?
Starting point is 03:40:35 I was in a holding room. You're in a holding room. Yes. And how long are you in that holding room? From about midnight, 1230 to one or so the next day. Who did you make your one phone call to? Here's the interesting thing. I didn't have a one phone call.
Starting point is 03:40:50 I never had a one phone call. Wait a minute. I watch a lot of TV. I know. I asked him, do I get my one phone call, Jimmy? They said, no, you don't. You get to. Through what happened.
Starting point is 03:40:58 It was Thursday night when you. Oh, wow. Okay. Is this Northwest? Chat, we're getting old, man. How's Northwest so fucking big? Pause. Like, Northwest is like a fucking human.
Starting point is 03:41:15 Like, she, She's like growing. I remember when the idea or the name Northwest was like, oh, okay, Kanye is having a kid. You know what I was thinking about recently? I was like, imagine when young boys' kids start looking at him like, niggum, let's quabble up, nigga. Like, you know, that's probably going to happen, right? NBA young boys' kids at some point, if they even have anything in terms of lightness to their father, at some point, they're going to look at him and say,
Starting point is 03:41:45 I think I could take you. That's going to be like a crazy, a crazy moment for him. That's going to be a crazy moment. But, but like, how old is Northwest? Like, in my mind, Northwest is like five. But like she talks and everything. Like, how old is, how old is Northwest? Northwest is 12?
Starting point is 03:42:11 Northwest is about to be a fucking teenager, my nigga. What the hell? Interesting. Okay. Oh. So Kevin Gates, Kevin Gates been getting into it with Brittany Renner. You know, it's very interesting.
Starting point is 03:42:33 And I really love Brittany Renner, but I do feel bad for her. I think Britney Renner has been cursed by some of her early decisions in life. You know, no matter what happens, and men will act like they don't judge a woman for their past only to waste that woman's time, use them for sex or whatever else and then release them back to the field.
Starting point is 03:43:01 There is something, you know, when somebody knows that you're a woman that's been ran through, and I hate to just put it in really raw terms, when niggas have the perception, and this is why women have to, like, really protect their purity, when women, when a lot of men have that perception that you've been ran through, they'll come with the, you know,
Starting point is 03:43:21 I don't care about your past and said third. But it's this innate understanding of like when they walk in a room or if, especially if you've fucked with all their peers. Yeah, it's never going to end well. And what happens usually is that they gaslight the woman. Yeah, I don't care. You know, anything before me doesn't matter. That woman then gets like pretty gassed saying, oh, I found the exception. Like he's a real nigger.
Starting point is 03:43:46 He doesn't care. And when that person then gets bored with that woman, you know, they don't see the value in them anymore. or they release them to the streets and then that person is usually pretty salty. But what am I kind of indirectly alluding to? Brittany Renner, we saw not too long ago, seemingly involved in a relationship with Kevin Gates. And that relationship seemed to be one where Kevin Gates said he was married to her. She looked like she had converted to Islam. She was following him around.
Starting point is 03:44:24 I don't know why I can't find the particular post. Right. But she had like converted. I could show these pictures. There was those videos of, you know, them courtside. She looked like, you know, pretty much almost like the perfect wife. And she looked happy. He looked happy.
Starting point is 03:44:49 But all of a sudden, I remember one day she showed up to an event and people said, hey, where's your husband? and she had an answer that was a little bit odd. Like, you know, there was a lack of resolution in how the public was seeing it. Hold on. Brittany Brenner asked about Kevin Gates.
Starting point is 03:45:15 When she was asked, let's see where she was at. By the way, their relationship started here. Well, not really here, but three years ago, she was like, falling over. Three years later. I am, three years later. I'm so excited.
Starting point is 03:45:28 I'm so happy. It's like a full circle moment, so. Rolling loud, it's good. So yeah. She said she loves Kevin Gates. Look at this. Hi. And it's a way how a woman looks at a man, you could tell that the attraction is more than what it is.
Starting point is 03:45:53 She clearly had either a crush on him or, you know, whatever. I'm not sure if they're fucking around at this time, but they eventually start dating and allegedly get married. Wow. Hi everyone. My name is Brittany Runner and I'm here with the one and only. My man just keep playing with the feathers in is here. Kevin Gates. How you feeling? Amazing. Hey thank you. I don't care if you get this on okay. I just want to say thank you for being an amazing person always living in your truth. You inspire others silently. They probably want to read it but you know you inspired me. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 03:46:30 and thank you let me tell you something so my first rolling loud i did in 2019 okay so it starts like this and i'm in love like the things that money came by and tangent okay uh they later claim that they're like kind of like married or whatever then later on i remember she shows up to an event uh oh this is when she she had converted to Islam He changed her, she seemingly changed her whole personality. She was always like, you know, not loud, but she was definitely a talkative person. She would only talk when talk to, she would look at other men. I ain't going to allow to you, man.
Starting point is 03:47:15 She was moving like she was in Iraq. I haven't going to hold you, but she was clearly trying to make this work. This is after, you know, she had a baby with PJ Washington who moved on to another woman. And she was left to the single baby mom. So, you know, this was her like redemption arc supposedly. we don't know exactly what happened. I want to show you that one clip of when she was asked. Oh, she announced that she's single.
Starting point is 03:47:50 She announced right here. You know, a lot of changes in your life. I have. A hundred of love for that. So you were, I tried to give you a hug earlier. And she was still trying to wear the stuff. I guess this stuff is only for Kevin Gates. And you were like,
Starting point is 03:48:04 access to nine. You can't do hugs. You know. This is, um, part of your faith yeah and i mean just what makes me comfortable like i don't you fuck i'm trying to make it uncomfortable no yeah i mean i think for me it's like in my minds i'm kind like why is any man giving me a handshake a hug yeah i was like what about and we did this we did this air high five because i just feel like there should be no man touching me except my husband
Starting point is 03:48:28 mr gates yeah are you guys married married is this like a um uh yeah i don't know how does it i mean first of all kevin's the best you got to keep you got to keep you got to keep you guys He's a great guy. Very, very, very. Is he still, are you guys, is he going, did you release his semen retention? Okay, first of all, you asked like three questions. Okay, well, first things first. He was doing semen retention last time I saw him.
Starting point is 03:48:52 Has the, has the retention been lifted? Okay, well, that's a question you would have to ask him. Okay. But we got married April 6th and divorced May 28th. She were divorced. Yes. But there is a 90-day waiting. period in Islam where it's basically you have 90 days to see if you're pregnant because
Starting point is 03:49:12 then the you know he would be responsible right um and then also in those 90 days it's for reconciliation because Allah wants you to stay married and then during those 90 days you are not to like entertain anybody romantically so and I'm not gonna lie the reason why I feel bad for her because I think she's really a hopeless romantic what I will say but plagued from her past is that Islam has made my life a lot easier I think even with this um transition. Okay. So she basically says they've divorced. If you look on her Instagram, the Instagram went from like, oh, is her Instagram gone? Okay. Her Instagram went from a bunch of like garbs from head to toe. You know, she started, she started rocking, you know, oh wait, is it not gone? Oh, yeah. Yeah, her Instagram went
Starting point is 03:50:10 from all this, you know, covered from head to toe. You know, she had the homolula fit. You know what I mean? She went from here. You know what I mean? The, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the pussy for a real nigga fit. You know, you know, I'm saying.
Starting point is 03:50:31 Like, yo, you know, as soon as Kevin Gates was out of the end, man, she said, let me show you this ass. Like, what the fuck? You think I'm doing squats for no reason? Man, look at these cheeks. Stop playing, man. Stop playing, man. Stop playing, man.
Starting point is 03:50:43 Stop playing, man. holy, right? And by the way, I won't even Google her age, but I think she's in the 30s. She looks really good, really good for her age, you know? And basically, you know, you could tell that she clearly only did the Islam thing because of Kevin Gates.
Starting point is 03:51:06 And recently, Kevin Gates was on, Kevin Gates was on Shannon Sharp and he spoke about Britney Renner and he said this I end up marrying somebody else and
Starting point is 03:51:26 like that marriage only lasted 52 days and I know I'm a legend but on he said I know I'm a legend nah this thing is he devious he said I know I'm a legend
Starting point is 03:51:41 So then... No, that ain't... I mean, why you do that? It ran its course. It ran its course. In 52 days? Yeah. Yo, this nigga is a devious.
Starting point is 03:51:50 The nigga said in 52 days, the marriage ran its course. This nigga's a demon. It could have ran its course in 15 days. But that was beautiful. It was a beautiful situation. I learned everything that I needed to learn. And then that's still my friend. We're still cool.
Starting point is 03:52:08 Yeah, I think she was... I had on the pod. I thought she had. Hey, listen, want to tell you something? With it? I've been proud of knowing that person since, like, 2014, and she's always been a friend of me. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:52:19 Like, outside of this media shit. Yeah. I don't care what nobody say by how, like, the only person could make me not what you is you. I don't keep, you seeing when they was trying to say that pussy shit about you. Yeah. What I got in your D.M. what they're on? Yeah. You did.
Starting point is 03:52:35 Because that shit will make you, when everybody talking, that pussy shit that make you just, I say, I don't care you, do nothing wrong. I don't. I say, cute what I told. Keep your head up. Hey, hey, we, I'm on that black top. We love you on this black top.
Starting point is 03:52:48 We learned what we needed to learn and we moved on. Right. Beautiful. And then like, right after it was in the media, like Kevin Gates was on the Mary 52 days, he couldn't even keep on it. It's cool, I ain't tripping.
Starting point is 03:53:01 No, my wife had called me. She said, hey, say, hey, what's happening? You okay? I say, yeah, I'm good. You know, I'm Gushy Louis Prada. You know, I do this bullshit, you know. talk. She said, you don't feel kind of messed up and then by? I said, no. Mm-mm. Anyway.
Starting point is 03:53:24 Brittany Renner did not like his depiction of how their relationship ended or the current status of what he was describing as their friendship. And she took to social media rather quickly and she wanted to clear the air. She put out a screenshot of their message and I remember posting it, so it should be on here. I don't know why I have to scroll this far to find it, but let me see. Where is it? Where is it?
Starting point is 03:53:51 Where is it? Where is it? She was trying to clear up and kind of give her side, and what she figured was the real truth and the non-cap portion of, where is it that? Their relationship. Can I find it? No. No.
Starting point is 03:54:14 Maybe I can't find it. I get on it. All right. I'll just, okay, I'm going back too far. Let me just look at it on Twitter. So she kind of exposed him
Starting point is 03:54:29 because she claimed he was lying. And she posted like a DM that showed that she had blocked his ass now. Right? Let's see. Jesus. Oh, right here. So she,
Starting point is 03:54:52 she posted, hey, we're not friends. And on the interview, he had said he had known her for 24, And she says, no, I did not know you in 2014. And she says, selective memory paired with a wide mouth will not be tolerated. Since you're going to speak on me, understand that I will now have the floor as well.
Starting point is 03:55:14 So it looked like she was waiting. And she screenshots one of the messages he sent her a voice note before she blocked him. He says, you block Kevin Gates, so she blocked him. This is what the message said. So you don't want to be my friend. So you're not my friend. I'm what that what you're saying. Kevin Gates is an asshole.
Starting point is 03:55:41 But why you don't want to be my friend, bro? Yo, I see why some of these chicks, yo, these chicks be turning. They be changing religion. They'd be doing all they got to do to keep Kevin Gates. And Kevin Gates will just switch him out like he don't give a damn. You're laughing at her. Now, she also had a caption with it.
Starting point is 03:56:03 She says, is your child bride pegging you with that? nine inch strap on yet i'm your mommy and your daddy now be gone patreon loading so it looked like she's basically saying she's going to expose him and it's kind of interesting well actually now i do got to google brittney renner's age so brittney renters 33 and i anytime a woman refers to another woman as a child it's usually a self-reflection note to say i'm old as shit now and this young girl it's no way you could be attracted to me who's old and a girl that young even though when they were that young they wanted the same type of guy that the old girl has now right uh so kevin gates new girl is this girl here her name is jelani tehad i believe and i don't even think she's that young i think she's like 26 how old is oh jilleni gates How is he claiming he married all of these girls? Like, oh, she's 26.
Starting point is 03:57:13 So for a 33-year-old, if you date a 26-year-old, you're dating a child, right? So she's calling her a child. If you haven't seen that girl, let me scroll up. Jesus, I can't find, where is it? It's going to be right here. Oh, this is her. So this is her.
Starting point is 03:57:32 And this is who Brittany Renner is saying, this is your new child bride. Like, because she was, like, kind of tone boyish, like, Yeah, she was I used to be gay And then he turned So this woman That Kevin Gates is now married
Starting point is 03:57:48 Used to supposedly be gay Kevin Gates turned her straight And here's the thing Why women be getting salty You see Kevin Gates got with Britney Renner And probably told her You all that ass pitchers
Starting point is 03:58:03 And half naked shit You're posting on the gram I ain't with that I'm Muslim Aloum de la law you put all of this shit on I want to cover you from head to toe and you got to be Muslim
Starting point is 03:58:14 she wanted Kevin Gates so she agreed so she did all of that to get him Kevin Gates with this new girl you think she's put that shit on once nah you know what I mean like yeah that's how women get mad wait I had to do all this shit
Starting point is 03:58:29 but it's like the new chick don't gotta do it why can't I find these what the hell oh oh she changed her name Delaney Gates. The point is, I don't know if you'd be able to see it.
Starting point is 03:58:53 She's not wearing none of that Muslim shit. You know what I'm saying? Is this her? Yeah. His new girl posting like this. This her right here. And I think Brittany Renner's probably realizing the grift here. Brittany, half of the reason he probably had you put that shit on, like, right, his
Starting point is 03:59:23 girl could just like this. The reason why he has you put on that garb is, like, respectfully, he thinks you're a horror. So, like, that was his way of trying to mentally cleanse you. Like, he put on the fucking Muslim garb on you to like, you know what I mean, kind of take away the sins of whoredom. I'm sorry to say. Because when, when he gets with a girl that he don't think is a hoe, he don't got her put, he want her, he won't her to show the shit off because he want niggins to know, yo, this is mine. No other rapper done fucked her. He's, he's killing with this. You, he was like, yeah, there's too many niggins that hit. Yo, walk around like this. You know,
Starting point is 03:59:59 I mean, I'm keeping to be with you. Like, people ain't going to like me saying it. But if this guy was this devout Muslim, all of the women he gets with would be doing this by the time he so-called marries them. They're calling this woman, she changed her name to Gates. As if they're married, you had to walk around, looking down, couldn't talk, al-a-law to you or whatever it is, and basically you had to damn near convert. and I'm here to tell you the reason why you had to convert,
Starting point is 04:00:31 that nigga thought she was a hole. Straight up. Like, a nigga will accept a chick that was a hole if, like, when you get with her now, all she do is reading the Bible. She don't go to the club no more, or she go to church. Like, you're seeing someone, like,
Starting point is 04:00:48 trying to cleanse himself in a bit. But when you get with somebody that you don't think needs to be cleansed, bro, of course, you've got the titties out. Of course, he's probably like, yo, yeah, this is the bad bitch I'm dealing with. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 04:01:02 Like Kevin Gates is not a type of a nigga that don't want niggins look at this girl. This girl look like this. This girl is happy as hell. We ain't seen a Muslim garb yet. There's no any fans. Not that I'll be looking. Right? Tiddy's out.
Starting point is 04:01:22 So I know, yo, chat, I know Brittany Runner is tight. So you got your girl posing like this. She's out here. God damn, this ass looks at. She's doing, she's doing, she. posting this and when I was with you when I was with you you had me dressing in the alu Akbar sheen special you had me in the alumdala law fashion nova drip and this is how I had to come out of the crib your new girl she's come and trim she come and trim like this
Starting point is 04:02:11 Like this, Chad. She come and trim like this. Here, long, ass fat. Like, yo, you know, look, look. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's what, hey, that's what happened when you're not a hole.
Starting point is 04:02:27 Like, let's keep it to be. Like, by the way, I'm not accusing. Well, Rudy did admit that she did certain shit in her past, but she can't erase. See, that's the thing about, you see, ladies, you see, when y'all go down the path of only fans, and, yo, Somalia Marie, remember this too. You're going to get to a point where it's going to be burned in people's head what they think your reputation is.
Starting point is 04:02:51 And unfortunately, listen, reputation is key. You got to guard it with your life. Your reputation will always dictate how a man deals with you. Chat, you ever heard of, chat? One of the chat, if I'm spitting facts right now. When you meet a woman, if you feel she already a ho, nigga, you try to fuck like first two hours, you link, nigga. feel what I'm saying like
Starting point is 04:03:13 you know you try to get you don't even give a fuck nigga you try to get some head in the backseat nigga like at the movies nigga yo y'all out at the mall you be like yo you're coming with me in the bathroom room because you want to fuck her like you just don't give a fuck
Starting point is 04:03:24 like you just try her like yo what's up you know what's fuck let's up yo you ever like link with a girl you think it's a good girl you think she got morals nigger you you're mad careful you don't want to disrespect her
Starting point is 04:03:38 you know what I mean like like you want to like low key maybe she would go but like you're not even trying like y'all i've been with a hole i'm like man i don't even what's she think nigga you know what i mean like i'm like yo what's up yo i'm horny my dick hard like you know what i mean you're talking crazy you're already talking you've been with a good girl and like say she bad and you think she a good girl and you think this could be like real wifey bro you start moving different bro you know what i'm saying that's the reality that brittney renter i think niggis is looking at her like she promiscuous
Starting point is 04:04:10 and that's what women don't realize when y'all do this online shit and give off the idea that you're promiscuous when a nigger actually wipes you up it's going to only come out to a few outcomes like saying in the case of like a Selena like they're going to want you to be splitting the bill or
Starting point is 04:04:30 you got to pay you got to give him $50,000 for the casino bill. Fuck it. Or you get one of these chicks or at least you don't know by the past and you know you let her be normal because at least when you walk in a room, niggies don't say you with the whore.
Starting point is 04:04:48 So I'm telling you, until I see a Muslim garb on this chick's head, the only conclusion I could take, and I think Brittany Renner is smart enough to realize it, bro, the nigger knew you as a hoe. I'm not calling her a hoe. He knew the perception of you as a whole, that he was wiping up a hole.
Starting point is 04:05:06 So because the perception of you as a whole, he had you do things to change the idea and perception and almost try to cleanse yourself through religion that may be when people saw you with him, right? Like, look, every time we saw, look, she looked Damoa or whatever. She looked, she looked different than the perception. And that man cares about his perception. You saw him when he was sitting courthouse out at the Lakers game.
Starting point is 04:05:39 That nigga took up two seats with his feet wide out. Like, yeah, like, he's not going to say, you know, he's smooth. I can tell Kevin Gates is a smooth dude. He ain't going to put it down like that to her. Like, yo, bro, I'm kind of ashamed of your past, so, you know, to make up for it, I need you to rock the alum, uh, uh, alum, the law special. But I think she realizes that now. How the new girl getting away with shit I couldn't do?
Starting point is 04:06:04 Well, the new girl, I'm not even saying one is less than whatever in terms of sexual, sexual experiences. We don't know the new girl. You, you had a history where people were like, you were a whole. Straight up. And I love Britney, by the way, too. Like, you know, I'm not really, I'm just kicking real facts. This is real facts, right?
Starting point is 04:06:24 So, you know, I think Britney's upset at that too. Like, damn. So when I was with you, I got to do all this. I got to convert just for you to, like, pop out in public with me and whatever. You're proudly shown off this girl. She doesn't have to do anything. She's posting pictures that's worse than what I used to post, and you had me stop doing it, right?
Starting point is 04:06:43 And, yeah, and I think that's her mindset. So anyway, she went on further to speak on him. And apparently she has a new man now, right? She has a new man. And her new man is this guy. You know, she tried to announce it. I don't know who this nigga is. It looked like he just came out of a movie from the 1990s.
Starting point is 04:07:10 I don't know who he is. Oh his name is Director X? I know this guy. Is this the guy who used to do music videos? Yeah, I've never seen this guy I did in my life, man. And I go a lot. With all due respect to Brittany, this might work. The problem with, like, you know, women like Brittany
Starting point is 04:07:39 is that, you know, Brittany has been with a lot of celebrities. And usually when women get in that type of ecosystem, they're desperate to find this celebrity that's going to take him serious. Well, a lot of people are going to have the mindset like Kevin Gates and maybe other people. Hey, listen, yo, everybody's thinking about how they fucks you back in the day or whatever they did. Like, yo, whatever. So I think she got a regular guy now. Yeah.
Starting point is 04:08:03 Usually the remedy is just downgraded standards. You don't need some celebrity that's worth millions of dollars. Just get some guy that looked like he's a hitchhiker. Who is this guy? Yeah. Yeah. Like, this is like the guy you need. Yeah.
Starting point is 04:08:20 Yeah, this is a guy you could run into it. Any Barnes & Noble's. Yeah, this is the type of guy, like, respectfully. You know what I mean? Like, she with this guy, he'll probably not that be offended by her past. Why? At least the niggas that was allegedly smutting around are of way higher value perceivably than him. So it's like, what are you going to do?
Starting point is 04:08:41 You know what I mean? It's not, like, let me tell you, there's nothing worse than when you see a girl get smutted out. Like, obviously, any girl getting smote out is bad. But if she gets smudied out by a bunch of bumps, disgusted. If she let, like, if she let, like, three billionaires hit, fuck it. You know what I mean? Like, this is what it is.
Starting point is 04:09:04 So, uh, she announces her new man. And this is kind of odd to me. I'm not going to lie to you. She has a podcast with her boyfriend. And in her podcast, they talk about Kevin, which is like, I ain't going to lie to you. Rule number one. When you with me, your X is a dead. We don't talk about it.
Starting point is 04:09:25 We don't talk about nothing. Bro, I haven't going to lie to you. Me and a check ain't told me. Yo, that niggas ain't alive to me. But maybe I might be insecure. Wait, this is the director X nigga that used to do music videos? I don't know. I'm just seeing his name as Director X.
Starting point is 04:09:42 This thing will look a little bit younger. I'm thinking the Director X is like 50. This ain't Director X. director X um yeah it's that's the guy yeah
Starting point is 04:09:56 this is him right here that's not the guy she's with no this is a guy that did drake Drake and um future video yeah that's the director
Starting point is 04:10:05 ex that's talking about the hip hop dude yeah don't act like yeah this guy is some other guy my nigga like like
Starting point is 04:10:10 feel what I'm saying this guy look like he vegan you know what I mean like you know this is a nice guy to go on a hike with you know what I mean
Starting point is 04:10:18 you get with him get your water bottles filled you know what I mean You get you like, you get some, like, spray, the little bugs spray that the bugs don't get you and shit like that. You know what I mean? Like, you get your long johns. You put on the little underarmor thing.
Starting point is 04:10:31 You think you're Steph Curry. And, yeah, like, y'all hike up the fucking mountain to the Hollywood sign and shit like that. When y'all get up there, you got take a couple pictures, you got drink some green juice and then y'all come back down. And that's it. That's life. Yeah, that's a type of nigger. Yes. There's nothing wrong with this type of nigga either.
Starting point is 04:10:48 But let me tell you this. When you could go from dating, nigg. that are like remember she was fucking with Uzi PJ Washington Kevin Gates you could go from that to John
Starting point is 04:11:03 like I don't even know why his name is direct to X and then she just be John this is John right here I mean that's straight up like that says John like there's nothing wrong with it and and you know I'm glad that she's with a guy like that because I genuinely think I don't think she's chasing
Starting point is 04:11:21 money at this point I think she's chasing love and oftentimes you got a downgrade to find that love if you want love but usually women have you know women and men we have you know these unrealistic expectations for a woman she's going to want a nigger with the bag but loyal she want the she want the nigga with the biggest bag paws and the most loyal usually those those things are antithetical you know good boy okay anyway they they spoke about um Kevin Gates and let me um show you what they said here And that's what I'm saying. Her man, shout to her, man,
Starting point is 04:12:12 because I could not be doing a podcast with my new girl talking about her own nigga. Fuck that nigga. And, like, I wouldn't even be beef with him. It just said, like, bro. Yo, put it like this. Yo, here's my motto. Yo, if your bitch still thinking about her last nigga,
Starting point is 04:12:28 you're not stressing out, stressing her out enough, man. Yo, you got to keep her occupied, gang. Like, yeah, if, yo, if your girl is still reminiscent of a, about her ex-nigger, you ain't put her through enough. Facts. Feel what I'm saying?
Starting point is 04:12:42 If your girl still thinking about the last nigga, you ain't put her through enough. Straight up. All right. This is a podcast, though. What are you feeling? Um, hmm.
Starting point is 04:12:55 Yeah, I'd be damned to ask my girl what she feeling and she told me about her last nigga. What? I think the broader conversation is, I don't want anyone else telling my story. That actually sends me into orbit when I think that someone else is speaking for me. And it is also untrue.
Starting point is 04:13:16 Because I'm okay with being a part of someone's story, but if we're going to tell the story, then let's tell the whole truth, nothing but the truth, so help me God, right? I typically don't like to talk about stuff. I think that it's been really challenging, growing through different phases so publicly. My energy is sacred. I treat it as such. So I try to protect myself.
Starting point is 04:13:37 but it's like, I'm tired of silencing myself. And I find because of how I am to, I'm always wanting to protect people who quite literally would leave me for dead. I saw that he was speaking on our marriage. Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. If I'm her nigga, I'm walking out of the room. And by way, this thing is, he wrote,
Starting point is 04:14:00 put it on record that I love this woman, educated, motivated, beautiful, and a great mom and soon to be a great wife. Yo, chat, you gotta get child of Johnny. Pause. Like, you see, hey, you see, most women is chasing the wrong niggas. Like, y'all chasing the Kevin Gates. I mean, like, yo, Kevin Gates might have just use you up, bro, have you wearing all
Starting point is 04:14:23 them garb. Y'all wonder if she, like, donated that shit to Goodwill. Like, where the hell is the hijab? The hijab. Where is the hijab? Where is it? Somebody passed me the hijab. Where is that?
Starting point is 04:14:36 I know they didn't select the cleaners. He said that we met in 2014, which was untrue. and that we were still friends, like we were still cool. Yeah, this is a good man. I'm not listening to you, vent about your last nigga. Fuck you and him. And. But I might be insecure.
Starting point is 04:14:51 Even though some people might say, like, well, he didn't say anything bad about you. But you didn't say the truth about the situation either. We're not friends. So if me and you aren't cool and I go on a platform and I say that we are, trying to be funny. For me, that's what it comes off as. Like, you're trying to be funny. I would have to start an argument right here. Why are you thinking about that, nigger?
Starting point is 04:15:11 Why? Tell the truth. Then just shut up. Be quiet. Okay. Shout to her man, though. He's a strong guy, I could tell. Pause.
Starting point is 04:15:30 All righty then. All righty then. Yo, it's six o'clock. Yo, this was ill right here. You said this about Brittany. Just to find out she wasn't the one. This thing is this is right? She was the one.
Starting point is 04:15:50 we had to go through what we had to go through so we could get to where we had right now. But like I say, you know, who I love, I don't discuss. She was the one to help me get to this level. That niggins said, Brittany Renner was the one to help me to find her. Y'all, this niggis wild. Let me find out Gates turn to tender.
Starting point is 04:16:15 No, Gates not turning to tender. Gates being vulnerable. It takes more courage to be vulnerable than it do to be walking around pretending like you tough because we got out and see you hurting on the inside. Because I still, I have done a lot of healing, but I still got a long way to go.
Starting point is 04:16:37 Kevin Gates, man, always kicking some game. All right, y'all. What else? What else? I think we bought a rap for the night. I see y'allel spamming 21. I'm going to be honest with you. I think y'all want some qualitative, like, conversation about it.
Starting point is 04:17:06 I don't know what it means. You know, I'll kind of look into it. I'll try to figure out more information. So that, yeah, I don't think I'm ducking the topic or none like that. It was reported that there was some streams removed. There was some streams removed from 21 Savage's album count for his album, what happened to the streets. from what I know there hasn't been any official comment
Starting point is 04:17:38 there hasn't been any official comment about it from Spotify or from any of the DSPs and we're kind of like just going off of the screenshot and I don't know how often or how frequent this is some people tell me well this happens in terms of corrections all the time people say, well, there was hundreds of millions of streams I got removed from Kendrick.
Starting point is 04:18:13 Some people say, well, no, that's botting. But it's just like how Kendrick's botten, he's botten too. It's bot like us. Everybody's botting. I don't know. I think, you know, honestly, what I would like to say is that I wish Billboard and Spotify would not hide. when they do these things and people accidentally or they have to use AI or computers
Starting point is 04:18:48 to actually track the numbers that these companies are representing, that they could see when there's a minus. And now it rings an alarm. I wish if it was botten, Spotify would come out and say, hey, listen, this person was cheating. And for anybody. for Kendrick Lamar for French Montana
Starting point is 04:19:16 for the clips for 21 Savage or anybody else because again there's not much to go off here right we're hearing 25 million streams got removed but we've heard
Starting point is 04:19:38 streams got removed from other artists too now I always say what's good for the goose is good for the gander So I'm down to say, like, for example, look, okay, Kendrick had lost a billion streams in a month. Okay? Like, it was corrected. Like, it's been multiple corrections with, with, you know, Kendrick stuff, right? Here's a point, right?
Starting point is 04:20:21 I think even some of y'all were trolling me to speak about this because y'all want to politicize this entire thing to be like, Oh, no, Savage is doing something. Here's my thing. I'm down to call a spade a spade, as long as we're calling the spade the spade. So if the gotcha moment is y'all want me to say, oh, Savage is buying, if y'all are saying and acknowledging that Kendrick is bought in,
Starting point is 04:20:54 and the proof that we have for that is that billions of his streams were deleted or removed, and now we see something removed from Savage, okay, let's cool, let's go along with all of them, Botton. I don't care. I'm not that, you know, there's Kendrick fans that try to argue against the notion that Kendrick Bots,
Starting point is 04:21:21 but they try to blame Boughton on everybody else. And if anybody in this industry, seemingly has more, the most evidence for fraudulence or botten, it would be Kendrick Lamar. So there's 25 million streams that have been deleted. I would like to know more information. I wish Spotify would release some information about why they deleted whatever. And is it a sanction?
Starting point is 04:21:56 And I wish if artists were botan, we got to treat it like the steroid error. artists should receive sanctions, but they should receive it publicly. Now, granted, they won't do it publicly because the record labels of these artists, like, for example, you know, Universal on behalf of Kendrick is going to say no. Well, if you announce that Kendrick bots, his fans might stream less. It's going to hurt the business, so don't announce it. But, you know, at some point, you have to announce it. You have to announce it to let it be known that there's a shame factor and a punitive aspect of this. That you're not going to just bought, and if you get away with it, it's good.
Starting point is 04:22:42 But if you don't get away with it, we just sweep it under the rug. So again, I'm saying I'm not too sure what this means. Okay? Now, granted, I'm also not stupid. If this is, like, has this been something that has happened historically often for Savage, as it only happened for this one particular album? As it only happened one time ever for him? Is this something that normally happens?
Starting point is 04:23:15 On an average of, like, 15 random artists, but viable artists, do they ever have negative streams? Again, not necessarily protecting, but I think the conversation that needs to be had is the overall conversation, right? Yes, we've seen Kendrick with deleted streams. Now we've seen Savage with deleted streams. I wish Spotify could address it. What does that mean?
Starting point is 04:23:45 Does it mean that you guys counted incorrectly? Or these guys are cheated? And again, I'm going to be honest with you. And this is just from my perspective, We've seen albums that supposedly got botted that no one detected. For example, young thug on a jail call admitted that he paid for bots for Gunna's album. And I'm going to be honest with you, if I'm a peer of Gunna or even, you know, like a peer of, like I think low-key Drake is stupid to not buy. Drake's biggest competitor is Kendrick and Kendrick is buying at World Record.
Starting point is 04:24:36 Like, Kedrick might be in the Guinness book of World Records about it. He's botting to keep up with you. If I'm Drake, I would have bought to extend the lead. Fuck it. Like, you know, like, I don't even think it's scummy. And I don't think like Drake is like the most upstanding, like, person morally. I don't know why Drake thinks he's above bottom. I think, listen, this is steroid error.
Starting point is 04:25:03 If I'm hitting 50 steroids off the muscle And that little dweeb over there used to hit 25 He started taking steroids He's hitting 48 So now we're neck and neck pause He's cheating I'm not cheating Because that's what's happening Kendrick is Biden
Starting point is 04:25:23 Drake ain't bought him Kendrick numbers almost seems equal to Drake I think Drake should buy If I'm somebody else, I hear Gunna button and I'm competing with Gunna, I would buy. Listen, listen, the industry is not taking this issue seriously. They're not calling them out. They're not issuing punitive things. They should ban people from playlists.
Starting point is 04:25:47 Oh, we caught you cheating. We can't playlist your music. You're cheating. Playlisting should be a reward for good music and good practice and good faith. Hey, we catch you. It's like prescription pee. shout to my man, Podcast P, aka Paul George. He's in the league.
Starting point is 04:26:08 He's popping these perks. You know, he's off a bean. He's doing whatever. You know, he's trying to do what they think LeBron is on. He's trying to inject some peptides or something. Some little TRT. Some HGH or something like that. He went to the wrong doctor, though.
Starting point is 04:26:24 They called him. They can't just put him back in the game. Just put him back in the All-Star game or whatever. No. we need punishment he's banned for like 30 games well if you get caught by in if y'all show k k'd out with
Starting point is 04:26:50 removed streams and he and it was really removed for botan reasons why not at that point say hey you can't be on none of our editorial playlist until you serve the sentence but they won't do it because the record labels will bully and slap the crap out of these
Starting point is 04:27:10 DSPs okay All right, Chad, I digress. I will be taking it down. I love y'all, man. I do love y'all. I appreciate y'all. I want to tell y'all that, hey, please, please. And by the way, shout out to the people who have bought tickets during this broadcast.
