What up, what up?
Let's get live on all platforms.
My bad.
I know.
I took a little while.
I took a little while.
Took a little while, but I'm here.
All right, people.
Okay.
Perfect.
All right.
Well, first and foremost, I hope y'all miss me.
I missed y'all.
All right?
Hey, chat, interestingly.
I'm trying to get this nigga DJ.
on here i don't know if you're gonna get on no because you're like we've been going back and forth no
beef and shit but like you know he'd been explaining his side and i've been explaining that you know what
mean um yeah so i'm trying to get them all here because i'm like i think actually would be a good
conversation honestly so i don't know maybe get dj mustard on here i think it'll be cool
so maybe i saved the mustard topic for a little while all right let's save it because he did
respond to me just now we we kind of went back and forth last night and um
He says some interest and shit.
I can't knock it, right?
So, um, nothing too crazy.
Uh, nothing disrespectful and nothing like that.
So I was just like, yo, this would be dope if, you know, you know, I'm always the fan that I wish, you know, those conversations that was, give you a little peek behind the scenes could really happen, right?
You know what I mean?
In front of everybody.
But usually people, they're like, really like robotic when they present themselves because, you know, they have a whole PR team and things like that.
So, no, no.
Let's see if it happens.
Anyway, welcome to the people who are tuning on YouTube.
If you're tuning on Rumble, what up to y'all?
If you're tuning on Twitch, what's good?
And even if you're tuning on meta, aka Facebook, shout out to you.
Hopefully my mic is good today, or loud enough.
I've been hearing some people don't like that.
My mic ain't that loud.
So I'm going to turn the volume up a little bit.
Hopefully be good.
Okay, a bunch of things to get into.
Drake has announced a new album.
I know some y'all are Drake out.
We're not like, we're leading with a Drake topic, but it doesn't mean that this stream is about Drake.
Please, please, please, please.
I know.
Some of y'all have Drakeed out.
I was reading the YouTube chat before we started.
Somebody was like, man, I've been rocking with access 2015 or whatever it was.
And it was like, man, now all he talk about is Drake.
You know what's so interesting?
I interview Polo GSA.
So there's a PoloG interview coming on off the record.
I think it's dropping tomorrow.
But there's nothing going on to hip-hop.
Like, I like how y'all be like there's a million things.
to talk about, no, it's not, okay?
Like today we could talk about vultures.
We could talk about that big Sean interview,
which we are going to, right?
But if we think about everything else,
like, this shit kind of been a little bit quiet this year,
other than Drake and Kendrick
and the subsidiary conflicts or conversation
that came from basically that main beef.
I don't know why people act like there's a million things going on.
And I even asked Poloji yesterday.
I was just like, bro, because he didn't drop in a while.
I think maybe, how many years since he's last job?
Two, three years?
And I asked him flat out, I said, bro, at least going into this year and when everything started with Drake and Kendrick,
were you trying to wait for the smoke to settle with that before you drop?
Because I do know a lot of artists who's doing that.
There's mad artists who don't want to drop music or didn't want to drop music in the height of that
because everybody was paying attention to it.
Matter of fact, when we get into the Big Sean stuff, Big Sean's literally going to admit like, yo, dog, I ain't going to lie.
When I dropped my comeback record, yeah, that shit was definitely overshap.
about the fact that everybody cared about Drake and I'm Kendrick so it is what it is so I know when
some of y'all's like yo bro let's go talk about the things I mean there's certain just recurrent
things that we keep talking about let's think about I could always give you our updates on
the YsL case but pretty much just like boring court updates I know some of y'all really care and
whatever but it's nothing entertaining it's just like this motion was filed this motion was filed
this motion is like it's not much going on right okay if we're not talking about that what else
could we talk about. The Y NW. Melly shit is kind of stalled out. What else is going on in hip hop other than that? Diddy, right? Like, you know, like, it's like these little small topics about Diddy. Like, really, we all know, like, when the hammer drops, that's going to be, like, big news. But until then, like, everybody's kind of, like, grasping for straws, like, what's going on with the Diddy thing? What's going on with the Diddy thing? Now everybody that I've talked to with an educated mind is, like, having a countdown, like, yo, Diddy's going to be indicted. Everybody's saying this month, I've talked to some people.
saying next month or end of this month top of next month,
nobody I've talked to believes that this will drag on to October.
So obviously when that happens,
that's going to take up like a week for us, right?
Because like the fucking indictment papers we're going to have to go through
and backtrack and figure out like, damn, how long the feds have really.
So, yeah, you know, again, for the people who do complain that we talk about
Drake too much, again, if there's other things in hip-hop that's pertinent for us to talk about,
We'd love to talk about it.
However, two things.
The Drake and Kendrick back and forth, great.
Actually, three things.
It was great for the culture.
Number two, it's the gift that keeps giving,
because there's always ancillary topics popping up.
Ross getting whatever.
This shit happening over here.
Niggas can't go to Toronto and perform.
Right?
And then number three, I keep telling y'all.
Man, y'all better show some motherfucking respect.
This is why, this is why y'all got me.
It's number one this year, nigga.
Nigger, they put me at the center of this bitch.
I'm gonna, listen, if anybody should be milking, pause on the milking.
Extra pause, right, okay?
No Chris Tyson, okay?
No, none of that shit.
But if anybody should be like, like, milking this topic, it should be me.
The fuck.
You know what I'm saying?
These things mention my name in a beef that they both bought to make $100 million from.
You think they said here at whole five?
Hell no.
I got to grind a five out myself.
So it is what it is.
Anyway, welcome, welcome, welcome.
All right, all right, all right.
I'm trying to get mustard on here.
Maybe I'd be able to get them on here.
Okay.
So few things that happened.
Drake popped out of the concert.
And I guess we could just kind of show that.
You know, some people, we're not trying to push narratives and then like that over here.
But again, for some people, and I've never thought that Kendrick fans, and I don't mean to attack
his fan base, but I've never.
never thought they would give me like a, a barb-like feel, pause.
But Kendrick fans are moving like the barbs these days.
Like, bro, they're obsessive.
They're like, they're everything of like a rabid fan base or a stand base,
except here's the only thing.
I feel so bad for Kendrick fans because their guy doesn't give them no content
that they could at least like, you know what I mean, mentally masturbate to.
Like if Kendrick even posted a picture of like a cryptic thing they could talk about for three days,
he don't even do that.
The niggis not to be seen.
So you know what they're left doing?
They're just left hating on Kendrick's ops, which Drake happens to be one of them.
So they're hating on Kendrick, potentially big Sean right now.
They have nothing to celebrate.
So when they see like, I don't know, say last night Drake pops out and Drake says,
yo, I'm going to drop a collab album, R&B with my boy P&D.
the Kendrick fans, they got nothing to talk about with Kendrick
because he's like, we haven't seen him in a month.
Like the niggas disappeared.
He don't post a pitcher.
He don't send a kite, nothing.
So Kendrick fans, they're ready to get active,
but their guy don't give them nothing to get active about.
So now they're looking at his opts and they say,
well, we just got to increase our hate over here.
Sad, okay?
But yeah.
So Drake finally announced some new music, right?
And I think he did it the right way, right?
You know, you know, for everybody who was like, yo, you ever heard some of the weird criticisms people had?
Yo, Drake got to just stop announcing shit through act.
Like it fucking makes a difference.
You don't like nothing about the guy.
The people who say that don't like nothing about Drake.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's like, perfect.
He popped up on stage, did a surprise pop out at P&D show.
he announced it himself and people still mad at that oh kensrick made him sit out this summer
yo yo kentrick got him stop rapping he's only doing rm p he's brother this got nothing to do
with kendrick kendrick's on a on a milk carton box half of kendrick friends can't perform in canada
or more kendrick don't even say yo let my guys in the like he don't even he don't send no
support his producer who just helped him with not like us jenriks don't
an album, he don't even retweet it, nothing.
The niggas just left.
Typical Kenny, okay?
Again, I keep telling you,
our Kendrick fans, it's hard to stand a motherfucker
who just leaves y'all for dead.
You know, the beehive is always active,
but they stopped doing the rabbit stand shit
when they realized that Beyonce just leaves
and goes to, niggis don't even know where Beyonce,
niggis don't even know what state Beyonce lives in.
You get what I'm saying?
So the beehive, they still rabid,
but they realize we can't be fighting battles
her behalf. We're just going to chill and unless somebody specifically attacks her, we're good. You get
what I'm saying? That's what Chalkenjic fans are. Anyway, okay, so let me see what else we do have to talk
about. We got a mugshot of Fulio killers. They're all putting them a little goofy little
turtle suits. I don't know why they do that, but apparently they do that to any inmate before
their arraignment if they're facing over a certain amount of time that could be potentially life.
So it's like a jacket.
And I guess, yeah, let's talk about that first, right?
Let's talk about that.
We'll get into the Drake stuff and all that afterwards.
But, yeah, the mug shots of the three, you know, by the way, all three are under the age of 22.
Hillsborough Sheriff's County, which what this means to me is that they have been extradited already.
So remember they got locked up in Jacksonville.
And Jacksonville is DeVall County.
Jacksonville, Florida.
It's in Duval County.
So they got arrested in, let me see.
I'll just search county.
They got arrested in Duval County, right?
It's the seat of Duval County.
Next to Florida, Duval County.
You can see over here.
Yeah.
So they got arrested in Duval County.
I'm pretty sure if they had lawyers or even if they got like a public defender pretty
quickly or maybe they did it themselves.
They probably waived an extradition hearing.
or actually this is Florida, so it might be different,
where they might not necessarily need to have a hearing
for you to be extradited because it's still within the same state.
Usually if it's a different state, right,
they got to do a whole court type of thing.
How do I notice?
Remember them bum-ass things who tried to run up on me?
They got caught for like three other shootings in Virginia.
Like the cops here had to go to a hearing in Virginia
because Virginia is like, why are we going to turn them over to New Jersey?
You get what I'm saying?
They had to go present some evidence like, hey, this is what we got as proof.
that these motherfuckers did a crime in our state,
and then it got signed off on,
but they said, well, y'all could get them after us,
and then they're going to be locked up for a while.
So I think in Florida is different, though,
just because it's within the state of Florida,
they don't necessarily, it's like kind of like,
think about wherever you live,
it's like an out-of-count warrant, right?
So they probably didn't even have to go to a hearing.
They probably just shipped them straight over to Hillsborough County,
which if you don't know,
that's where Tampa is. So Tampa,
Tampa, Florida, it's in Hillsborough County, so which means that they are now,
which also, I'll tell you what it means after that.
So they're in the jurisdiction of where their crime of first-degree murder will be prosecuted.
Okay.
Now, second thing, I'm pretty sure Monday, so two days from now, or possibly Tuesday,
they're going to have a first appearance, right?
And by the way, we'll probably look up their charges and see if maybe, you know,
they have an attorney already either given to them,
which would be a public defender,
or if they have an attorney who is filed to the court that they're represented them.
But regardless, what's going to happen is that they're going to have a first appearance
and they're going to have an arraignment, right?
So, hey, listen, you're charged for first-degree murder.
You're facing up to this amount of years.
it's like a procedural thing, right?
Sometimes, you know, they'll allow you to, not allow you,
sometimes you could offer to put in a plea.
Everybody's going to say not guilty, right?
And then you could possibly talk about the concept of bond.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I don't think these guys would get bond.
Look like policemen are on for a while.
Or if there is a bond, I think it's going to be an exorbitant amount.
Million dollars, $500,000 or more.
Probably not accepting that 15 or 10% shit.
You know what I mean?
Maybe they want some property.
Despite these being pretty much kids.
Like this girl is 21 years old.
You know what I mean?
And you know, for her, she's probably, I don't know if reality has hit her yet.
But like, bro, she probably thought, hey, even if I get caught, I'm going to get slapped with the wrist.
Like maybe an accessory to murder charge.
But no.
Yeah, drop in the low or giving the call like, yo, he over here, pull up.
Yeah, yeah.
you're equally responsible for that person's murder.
So that's her and that's the guy she was fucking.
They both got arrested at the same place.
And then this is the other guy who was the 18-year-old.
Now, remember, they just took in Rashad Murphy into custody.
And we're going to see what's up with that.
But we're going to, you know, by Monday, we're probably going to see at that.
first appearance or maybe I could look it up.
I don't want to waste you guys time at the top of the stream.
Kind of looking it up I should do it before I started stream.
I'm going to look up to see if the complaint is there.
Actually, let me look it up right now.
I'm just trying to be quick.
Hillsborough County.
Yeah.
So we want to see the complaint is going to clearly spell out how to fuck they found
these people, right?
And that's the, you know, that would be the, the, um,
Florida.
that would be the main thing
that's going to tell us
how stupid these motherfuckers were.
You get what I'm saying?
Because clearly they got caught.
The police was on to them pretty...
What was sure you named Andrews?
Alicia Andrews?
Let's see.
If we could find some shit, it would be good.
Searching.
I don't know if it's going to find anything.
If nothing pops up,
maybe they have like...
It's just sealed until it's actually unveiled
an open court.
You get what I'm saying?
Which they haven't been to open court.
yet.
I remember when they put
Pushi-State in one of these joints?
I don't mean to laugh like
it was like it was nothing to crazy, but still.
Push-ishy-Bail hearing.
Yeah, they had
that nigga like this, bro.
They was not playing around
with Pishisty, man.
They got this thing to look like a teenage
mutant ninja turtle, bro.
Like, yo.
Yo, I go,
you,
you,
Florida has,
like a lot of laws and rules that
make it, you know, like
for people, it's very
it grants you your rights,
but if you ever fuck up,
man, they violate you like no other, bro.
They got you wearing this goofy shit to court.
Okay, good morning.
Now, pusha-sie-nigger used to have some drip.
Ain't no way to look drippy in this shit right here.
There's no way.
There's just no way.
Mr. Williams, you were arrested
for pursuing to an arrest warrant.
And I forgot where, oh, this is Dade County.
They're not in Dade County.
They're in Hillsborough, so it's not going to be this judge.
People know this judge, like, very well.
Anyway, I'm looking it up real quick.
I can't see anything.
You know, I mean, let me see.
I look up the Isaiah, nigger.
Isaiah Chance.
I think that's his last name.
Yeah, I don't think I'm going to find anything.
Okay.
Yeah, we're probably going to see that Monday or Tuesday or something like that,
whatever they get to court.
Yeah, these three are incarcerated and Rashard Murphy has joined him
And now they're still looking for Davy on Murphy, who they believe is the last person, a part of this scheme and plot.
And they also believe he's a trigger man as well.
So at the end of the day, we will see if they capture him before these guys are our first appearance or they just hold them for the immediate future.
So we'll see. We'll see.
By the way, interestingly enough, and man, it just shows how quickly like life changes, right?
Like, so that last dude I showed you, right?
This guy, he's 18 now, right?
There was a picture that came out of him, like, posing with a video game player
named like Face Censor.
And this is him.
This is the same guy.
This is the same guy.
The 18-year-old, this is him as a kid right here posing with this guy in 2015, nine years ago.
So this is when he was nine years old.
it's you know if if if probably made this guy's day that you're taking a picture with a famous
YouTuber who plays video games every nine year old's playing video games I know this guy didn't think
his life was going to take this turn which I think that that's like the saddest part about it you
know what I mean like or unless this little nigger thought playing call of duty all this time
he could really go play it in real life and respawn or something dumb shit like that but yeah to go
from here to now in a turtle suit facing life in prison in
nine years you're 18 you can't even legally buy by by liquor yet sucks sucks yeah it's a guy on the
right if you don't know it's got on the right Sean Gathright fucked up in it yeah okay all right
all right oh good let me see yeah I don't know if I'm gonna get mustard on here but I this man
I told him I rather get him on here because I don't want to be one-sided in in any argument
And, you know, man went back and forth a little bit, and he gave me certain reasons why he said certain shit.
And rather than me having to paraphrase him, because, of course, I want to present how he felt and what's his side, I would rather him to say it himself, right?
So that was a point of me trying to get him on here, but maybe we don't get him on.
Anyway, if you guys don't know, so Drake apparently popped out last night at Party Next Door's concert.
And I don't know if this was when he took the stage, but he walked out to a tremendous.
tremendous ovation and the applause was damn near definite it was so definite i had to you know because
i know we're in this era of like as i said rapist politics i was wondering if drake fans edited
edited audio in it because i've yo the way they're cheering is like right the way they're cheering is like
right the way they're cheering is like they just saw jesus like come down from heaven like
listen to this shit like literally you can't even hear the guy with the mic because the crowd
are so loud.
So, you know, I haven't seen any proof that is, like, edited.
So I'm going to say it's a real video, which is like, God, damn.
To me, this was a very loud message of,
if you think we're going to let y'all cancel this guy who we've listened to,
and he's been the soundtrack of our life for maybe over a decade.
Keep in mind, too, this is party next door show.
So this was actually a R&B-type crowd.
the way they're cheering for this
nigga is like, yo, we gotta let it be
known, you're the guy.
And I mean, I gotta almost imagine
this isn't edited because look how many fucking
camera phones are in the fucking
are on. Yeah, I think it's
authentic because they stop
cheering and they started singing along.
Okay. Wow, okay. Anyway,
there's some more videos that came out, apparently
even performed that song, Waguan Delilah,
a song that everybody is attributed
as like a kind of a troll song, but
It's Janet.
It's just too
talking
In these streets
Go out of
Street
Now, granted, that is
Toronto,
so we should
point that out.
Let me try to find
maybe a longer
performance of it.
Obviously,
we're going to get
to the announcement,
but I think
this is the first time
he's popped out.
Drake performance,
Toronto Party
next door.
This is the first
time he's popped
out and really said anything.
Let me just
see if we could get like
longer footage
this is three minutes
okay
let's see
just want to get a general vibe of like
what it really was when
when the nigga really showed up
let's see this is a minor crowd
all you girls are outside and
okay okay so this is him announcing that he's going to
have a new album
right but he announced a collab album
with party next door
what you need to do I know all you girls are outside
And when it gets a little chilly, party next door at Drake Island will be right there for you.
We are right.
Thank you.
You want a good night.
Thanks to.
Whoa.
Whoa.
Oh, whoa.
Okay.
On behalf of me and party next door.
I'm here tonight as a thank you.
Somebody puts up a heart.
To each and every one of you,
for all your years of unwavering support.
Now, let me just.
ask you a question. Does this
sound like, because, you know,
and I guess I'm giving a little bait.
This is to the Kendrick fans who have nothing
else to, like, latch onto right now.
So I'm going to give them a little bait. Do you
I think that Drake is sounding a lot more humble?
He's saying that he's so gracious and he's so thankful
for their support. Do you think that's what this
is? Because part of this whole battle, even the people who didn't really
even fuck about Kendrick or maybe Drake, you kind of want the top
guy to get humbled. Like, that's always a thing, no matter
what, right? Like, you want the greatest to get
humbled, right? It's just a part of life. You never want somebody just, you know, nobody's God.
So you want them to get humbled. Does it sound like a humble Drake? Now, granted, and this is where
I'm going to give the Drake fans a little bit of, Drake says this shit at every show. Like, Drake is
one of the niggies who say the same shit at every show. Uh, he says the shit at every show,
okay? Yo, this is the best city I've ever been in. Yo, I've never, I've never seen a crowd like
this. Like, he does the, he does the cap at every show. And he does the, oh, I'm so happy. I'm so
grateful so he does it every show but for the people who are grasping for straws i'm going to give you
some hey is drake coming across as a little bit more appreciative like maybe the badless humbled him
maybe it's i'm here tonight as a thank you to each and every one of you for all your
years of unwavering support thank you uh
Thank you for listening to us.
Thank you for letting us find our sound.
Thank you for letting us tell our stories that ultimately become your stories.
Okay.
Party said that he was going to give me a chunk of the show.
It's the first time I've ever done an all R&B show.
So I'm going to take y'all all the way back.
I'll see what you remember.
By the way, and I hate to pause it.
I kid you not.
Yo, look at the set list
Drake set list
This was a great set list
So
Drake performed
Sweet a man
I think you came out to sweet a man
Waguan Delilah
Finesse
I'm on one connect
You know connect is from
If you're reading
Not I have favorite reading this
It's from nothing was the same
Practice
Right
Damn I haven't heard him
Like do practice
I mean, blue tint.
He did drama where Roy was.
He did mine.
Faith.
But if you've been to a Drake concerts, like he'll do certain ones.
He'll do fire and desire.
He'll do like medleys of these songs, right?
But, of course, you got to recognize and come see me, which is two joints that he has
with party next door.
But he did Bahama Promises, which is a song that I really like.
But I don't think that he even did that on his last tour, did he?
but redemption
redemption is like one of my favorite joints
and I think this is
you know y'all gonna call it
yo act you're glazing
but bro if we if I'm just supposed
to just join the we're gonna ignore
any we're all talking about the guy
right whether you're hating on him or not
we gotta give him a little bit of credit
I'm gonna be honest with you
I think this is why he's super prolific
the dude has an R&B catalog
that's nasty
like his R&B catalog is
nasty yo jaded
now to keep it real
and I know this might have not been good for the time,
but Drake, you got to say fuck these people, right?
I think you should have threw in teenage fever.
I'm sorry.
I think, yo, teenage fever is a fire song.
Now, obviously now people are trying to make it sound weird now, right?
But teenage fever is a fire song.
One of his great R&B records.
Faithful?
Ooh, you got to bring out division, though.
Yo, Drizzi, you got to bring out division for faithful, right?
Damn,
yo, I wonder, why doesn't he do girls love Beyonce?
I don't know, that girls love Beyonce.
Or why does he do trust issues too?
Does he do the songs with Weekend or no?
Yeah, maybe that's like a particular thing.
He's like, I ain't going to do shit that I did with Weekend, right?
Because he didn't do Marvin's Room either.
Was Weekend helping on Marvin's room or no?
I don't know.
What y'all think?
Now, some of y'all might not be R&B fans like that, right?
like or R&B Drake.
Like, you know, some people be like,
I like Drake when he raps.
I don't like when he sings.
Or I like when he sings.
I don't like when he raps.
Or I like Drake with a melody I don't like when he talked off.
Whatever you want to say.
I like, listen.
Oh, he should have days in the east.
I'm going to be honest with you.
Days in the east?
Days in the east.
You got to do days in the east, gang.
Oh, somebody said he didn't do,
oh, it's not, I'm on one.
That sounds like, yeah, why would he do Amon one?
Oh, the Amon one beat pretty much is trust issue.
issues.
Kendrick was on Marvin's room?
What are you talking about?
No, I think this is the fire.
Hey, listen, the thing that I think a lot of Drake fans want,
and I think he tried,
that's why I keep saying that Scorpion is a classic.
Because Scorpion, he actually puts both together.
He's like, I'm going to do R&B side and the hip-hop side,
as best as I can, and I've got to still please, like, 20 different people.
Or 20 different type of fans, right?
People have just wanted him to just drop an R&B tape.
Remember there was rumors he was just going to drop only an R&B tape?
tape, right? And remember there was a rumor that he was going to just drop, just straight him
rapping to compete with to see if he could possibly get like a, you know, one of those
rap classics that you could just compare song for song with like maybe like a reasonable doubt
or like an Illmatic or one of those, you know, rap classic albums. Because of course,
I think, I still think Scorpion's a classic. Of course, take care as a classic. But they're classic
hip-hop projects as in body of art but it's not like just classic
rap albums like how you would see with like a elmatic right
anyway um cool let me go back to this a little bit
all those are the best day
for me for me oh and i do got some i i do have um
and drink if you see this which i do know you watch the streams
i have some criticism constructive criticism for
because I went to your show, the For All the Dog Show,
that you didn't get me tickets for.
I actually saved you a ticket.
You, um, what was trying to say?
Bro, I'm gonna keep it up being with you.
My only thing about Drake, bro, you don't do all the dancing and running.
I mean, you try to do some running around, I guess.
But you don't do all that energy crazy shit like Travis Scott.
My brother, stop using backing tracks.
I'm sorry.
I don't give a fuck.
you doing 30 shows in 20 days, bro.
I don't want to hear, like, that's one thing I like about Jay-Z.
Jay-Z wraps every fucking bar.
Like, we don't want backing track.
And I'm saying that about his tour, because right here, I don't hear the backing track.
I don't want you singing over the CD-quality version of your album.
Bro, we want to hear this live.
You get what I mean?
There's some other artists who literally, let me see, who else that are great performers
that literally just do everything.
I mean, shit, I think, you know, and I hate to, I'm not trying to, like, throw him against Kendrick.
I think that's why Kendrick shit was fire.
I like that with a pop-out show.
Bro, no back in tracks, not even a hook.
That niggas sung everything.
Or the crowd sung it.
Like, that's the point.
I hate, yo, I think backing tracks are for smaller artists that just send the DJ, the iTunes version they say, just play it.
I'm a rap over it.
And they never really rap over it.
They become hype men's of their own track.
That's why I hate about hip-hop.
performances. Hip-hop performances
niggas don't want to
like first of all these things smoke.
And I'm not talking about Drake here. We're just talking about like
usually low-level hip-hop artists.
If you go to a show when a
nigga got like, like, and I hate
to use even my boy. I'm going to use my boy.
I'm going to use my boy. I know it's my guy.
And I remember me and him, we got an argument because he was like,
yo, I'm like the best performer in the world.
I said, no, you're not.
Bro, you got energy.
6-9.
beach please he got the energy like six nine got the energy but here's the thing bro we don't need
you to be a hype man for your song you get what I'm saying we want you to rap your song the
crazy thing is it's not like six times be saying mad words like like like like look let's go to
his biggest song which is going to be um you have kuda then we have guba no no what's the
first song the first song that you ever drop god he
Wait, did he not perform?
Wait, what's Sixth Nine's first song?
It's not Kuda.
Damn, am I losing my memory?
What's Six Nine's like first song?
We could go to Kuta though.
Gummo.
Oh, it looked like he didn't do gummo.
Anyway, listen.
Like, Sixth nine has a lot of energy,
he jumps in the crowd,
but you jumping in the crowd does not erase the fact that,
and to shoot him some bail,
because that's my boy too,
but I'm shooting some bail anyway.
I think you could hear his voice was hoarse,
and that's what he was.
I say it takes, you know, touring used to be like such a real art.
Most people or the serious tours weren't using backing tracks.
You get what I'm saying?
I really hate backing tracks.
If I go see you live, don't play your voice on the right.
You could play the ad lips and maybe the chorus,
but I need you to do your verses.
I need you to do your verses, bro.
I can't be listening to the actual song that I got in my iTunes.
Listen this.
Here we go.
Yeah, I hate this.
Like, he's being a hype man for his own song.
Like, they're just playing the song.
He's running around, giving the energy.
But he's being a hype man.
He's not rapping a shit.
Look.
Now, I also want to shoot some more, bail, because apparently the mic was fucked up.
Like, the feedback too was fucked up at this shit where when they were rapping, it was hard to get on beat.
So I think they should have in ears.
He couldn't stay on beat because the mic transmitting his voice was always behind of what he's hearing.
so you can't rap on beat.
So it's better if he just ad-libs his own shit.
But, bro, if I'm paying hundreds of dollars
or a concert, bro, I want you to rap your shit, my nigga.
I'm just sorry.
And this doesn't, same for 6-9 Drake or anybody.
Everybody.
And if you go watch Jay-Z, I will show y'all's Jay-Z performance.
He does it spectacular.
Listen, look at this.
Okay, so now they're playing it.
Let's get it, Romania.
Okay, hit it.
The only thing he said is running out of their mouths.
Like, he's just ad lib and he's hype man there.
Look, he's not rapping.
Right.
He ain't doing that bad, but.
But walking around when your voice is over the speakers rapping the verse, come on, bro.
If y'all want to be the best performers in the world, y'all got to learn to do it.
This is why, like, truth be told, this is why when I see rappers ever say they're the best performers, I laugh at them.
The reason why the majority of y'all don't do stadiums like Beyonce, Beyonce is doing a full-on dance routine, has to catch her breath.
Still, yes, she has some backing track or backup singers, but she's still singing.
Like, Beyonce's doing all of this shit, even Chris Brown.
Like, so it's a big difference when I hear rappers think that, no, nigger, most rappers
ain't good performers.
Most rappers are byproducts of their songs being hot.
They play their song, they walk around, yeah, I know I'm the man, they add up their shit,
and the fans are going crazy anyway.
When you watch a Beyonce, you watch a Chris Brown, they're doing triple backflips, twirls,
handstands, and they still, like, this is why most of them don't usually have the,
they'll have the mic that come from the ear because they got to be doing all.
of this shit, you know what I mean?
Like 20 black back flips him and still be like, yo, but like, oh, my single ladies, oh my, like she's still got to say that.
You know what I'm saying?
Somebody said show the Jada kiss.
Yeah, yeah, oh, thank you for, I was going to show Jada.
I was going to show Jada.
I was going to show Jada.
Yes, Jada kiss is the verses.
Nigggy, he wrapped every fucking word.
He wrapped every fucking word.
Look.
Here we go.
Is this one?
Yeah, I was today like.
Oh, yes. That's what I'm saying. You can have the chorus.
Normal backing tracks, you let the chorus rock.
The chorus could be CDQ. That could be playing over the speakers.
But your verses, we want to hear you. This is still rap.
Look.
Here we go.
I swear, good be sweeter.
Life's a bitch.
You might get rich.
It's guaranteed you're going to die, but you might get missed.
Yo, I don't think it's too much to ask rappers to do this shit.
I'm sorry to tell y'all. Like, rappers should be doing this.
be two or three hours till they like they splits and that coat will get you a long time when
I let them know the dope as out like America all life.
And you know they say that you deserve it whenever you die with you.
I still hold a title because I'm in the hood like them little motorcycle.
Stick up kids hopping.
Nah, no, this is what, yo, to me, this is a quintessential part of being an MC.
It's performing your shit.
This is a performance.
Like you can see the MC performing his shit like
Nigger you know the niggas like I hate this word
Because like I feel like he's like 16 years
But you know niggas aura pause
Like he's rapping it like they almost
You could know how he was delivering type
With the old rifles just doing shit for nothing is so
I'm just like you the word that niggins want of mercury
Is in the air
Double shot of yak, purple is in the end
And I'm not cocky I'm confident
When you tell me I'm the best
See, that was fire.
That was fire.
There's one with Jay-Z performing PSA.
Is it this?
Yeah.
Rappers these days do not do this no more.
They played a whole song.
And they ad-lib their own songs.
And they'd be like, you're the best performer.
You know why?
Because they filled an arena.
Why?
Because they sold out of amphitheater.
No.
Like, niggas want to hear you rap it.
Niggas, you know what Jay used to do that was always amazing?
Bro, sometimes he would just kill the beat.
He'll tell the DJ, kill the beat,
and he'll do the last verse of the song,
straight acapella, my nigga.
Straight acapella, still got the same type of cadence, the bop.
You could tell like, oh, that's an MC, that's fire.
I'm sorry.
If you love rap, and this is only with rap,
because, you know what I mean, we kind of, like,
like if Taylor Swift had the background music going out of people care,
even though I think they probably would,
because my nigger, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if you, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, you, if, if,
you better really sing your songs. They're like, maybe I should have enunciated that this way or
use this melody. And you realize they kind of, they, they give the performance version a life of its own.
So like sometimes you might go away
Be like nah, I like it.
I like it when you do the performance way
Like that shit kind of be hitting a little bit more
than the real version because they're really performing.
Oh, you can't show me a rapper that now
Raps an entire 16 to 32 bro with no backing track, my nigga.
I'm just being honest.
I'm also going to tell you why
I think this don't happen no more.
I think too many rappers are products of the punching era.
Any of my people who do music, my producers, my engineer, y'all know what I'm talking about.
Half of these niggas, they don't come from the school of you got to go rap the whole verse one time.
Stay on beat, catch your breath, pause, do what you got to do to deliver the whole verse.
Everybody's doing one line at a time.
So when now they got to perform their song if there's no backing track
Nigger they couldn't wrap their verse anyway without like without stopping every two bars
So if they if they recorded it stopping every two bars how the fuck they go and do their whole verse not stopping
You get what I'm saying?
But Jay and them come from a different school
Nigger you had to do your whole shit
You get what I'm saying?
You're sorry?
Don't for this one of them out go hit them up no rich
That's you see I'm gonna be honest with you I think
think jays a tremendous a tremendous performer like uh j z fade to black performance he did a
performance i think with um you're like even this very superstar from marsy projects bedstine
too lazy to make up shit they crazy they don't pay bro you don't hear no no other you don't hear his
voice in the back nigger you hear the voice from the mic that's what i respect
I'm gonna keep it a beam.
Look.
Oh, this pop this high, or they're strong.
Yeah.
So many different flows.
This one for this song.
Yeah.
I switch it up.
This one would give it up.
This fuck.
Too lazy to make up shit.
They're crazy.
They don't.
They don't.
They just trace me.
You know what?
To never get where they plug.
Come on.
I'm not a bite.
I'm a writer for myself and letters.
I see a big verse.
I'm only picking up my brother.
Enough to do this.
I'm not barrel.
Plus I know my own flow.
Bro, he's pottying it, bro.
This is an MC.
I know Jay-Z punches in, too, bro.
I know Jay-Z punches in.
I'm not saying Jay-Z don't punch in.
I don't know.
Nowadays, bro, nobody does.
Matter of fact, you got to realize, here's the thing, too.
Jay-Z punched in because he didn't write.
Like, he didn't punch in because he couldn't deliver the verse.
That's a difference.
These things are punching in because they can't keep the cadence of the flow for
an entire 16.
Jay-Z was punching in because
while in the booth kind of just
bopping his head to the
to the beats, he would
make up like two, four more
bars that went along with the last
two four more bars. That's a different
skill, my nigga. Like, come on
bro.
And you could tell that he has that
self-awareness with what he's saying.
He mentions the big joint,
open his joint,
he's biging up big,
looking at his,
like the nigga is full control
like a top tier S-tier MC.
Tell you,
let me sell it for you,
W-I-D-L-E,
nobody chewing an H-O-P.
And I'm back for more.
New York's at Bass and Dawn.
Brown minister back to finish my business up.
Put your motherfucker hands up.
Q in it.
One, two.
Yo,
You wrap the whole thing.
You know your ass is Willie when they got you in the back with like half a Billy and your ass ain't Lily.
White, that mean that shit you right must be illy.
Even out of your flowing.
Yo, the nigga not messing up on one line, bro.
Billy, it's both.
I don't mean the boats were damn if I'll brag.
Crackers gonna act like I ain't on their ass.
The Mark of Stewart that's far from Jewish.
Far from a Harvard student.
Just had the balls to do it.
And no, I'm not doing it.
In fact, I'm just previewing it.
This ain't the show.
I'm just EQing it.
Nah, he's mad.
He's mad.
He's bad.
To group be girls,
stop falsing it.
Back to the music,
the made back roof is translucent.
Niggas got a problem,
Houston.
What a B?
They can't shut up me.
Shut down I,
not even P.E.
I'm a fry.
God forgive me for my brash delivery.
But I remember vividly what these streets did to me.
So picture me that these clowns nitpicking me.
Yeah, I know Wayne did,
Wayne, you got to remember also,
Wayne used to,
Wayne punched in too
A lot of these artists did punch him
But Wayne also used to record in a way
Where he was just kind of
Do the whole shit
You know what I mean?
Take me like a piccany
I would literally kiss T-T on the forehead
Tell her please forgive me to squeeze
Until your forehand
I'm not the one that's go points off
In fact I got a joint and knock your points off
Damn
Hover the guard nigga blast for me
I'm at the Trump international ass for me
I ain't never scared
I'm everywhere
You ain't never there
Nigel why would I ever care
Pound for pound
I'm the best to ever come around here
Excluing nobody
Look what I embody
Your soul of a hustle
I really ran the street
A CEO's mine that market
And I ain't getting shot up a whole bunch of times
A makeup shit in a whole bunch of lives
And I ain't animated like sale
Buster Robes
With the real shit you get when you bust down my laws
Add that to the second
We've plied a bunch of times
Time stamp of my mom
Fluent some pop culture
I'm supposed to be number one on everybody's list
You see what happens when I no long resist
Go this shit, man
All right, back to drink shit
I guess I said that to say
I like the fact
At least for what I'm hearing here
I know this is R&B
But bro these artists are making too much money
To be using backing tracks, bro
Y'all niggies got to get back on y'all grizzly
Yo
shout to my.
Mariah Carey, I know these are the same like Mariah Carey.
She used to have all type of remedies for her throat to make sure she could perform at the highest
p because she was not by to just have y'all just listen to a backing track.
And I think it's important when these artists are that prolific.
We want to hear you, nigga.
Not the fucking track.
We already listen to the track many times.
So I was giving Drake some credit because he's doing R&B.
And even though I do think Drake's voice sounds better when he does R&B on the record than it
ever sounds in person he's finding ways to kind of mix it up and i like the fact there's no
um back and track here that's it that's all it's cool if it's a chorus not the like verse or like you know
i mean what verse is this connect is this connect isn't it yeah it's connect in it it's connect
Okay. Now, if anybody knows anything by music and singing, Drake's vocal range, he can't hit falsetto, right?
You know, if anybody knows the dream, he actually had a song called falsetto, but like his voice could hit those octase for a falsetto.
Falcettosite just a high-pitched, you know, like a higher, um, pitched sound.
Drake's voice, which, number one, I don't if, you know, I'm talking, I guess I'm talking a little bit too much music theory because somebody I might be like, nigger, we don't care.
Drake's voice is like within almost a talking octave.
Like, I don't think Drake is one of the most skilled vocalist, which works, though, for him because the majority of the fans, like, the great thing about Whitney Houston, when she sings, and I, when she sings, and I will love you, like, she's hitting.
like these scales that you can't do,
but it sounds amazing when she does it,
but Drake makes the music that everybody could sing
because he's not requiring you to hit any notes,
which is kind of like, you know what I mean?
Hip hop started there.
Like you had the jaw rules,
you had even the L.O. Koojays,
you had even the 50 cents who kind of,
they started like the singing shit,
but they were almost,
I'll take you to the candy shop.
Like it's a little bit melody to it.
Then you get someone like,
Drake that advances a little bit where it's a little bit more than just melodic.
It's R&B now, but he's still ain't hitting notes.
He's not hitting notes like, what's my boy name?
Like C. Breezy.
He's not doing what Ty Dollar sign is doing.
He's not doing what Jeremiah is doing, right?
But he, you know, and I think it takes that type of skill.
I don't think it's glazing.
It takes skill to write records that have to live in that tone.
Because now you can't really fuck with the, the, the, the, um,
inflections of your voice to use those type of scales.
So anyway, now the weekend can.
The weekend can.
Yeah, the weekend obviously could hit those octaves.
Of course.
The weekend's a way better to sing than drink.
Like, come on.
Nobody would ever dispute that.
Probably thought I was going to hit that Whitney note.
Yo, you know they did a study.
They said, Whitney Houston, that note that she hits, like, genetically.
or some shit like that.
Only like 5% of the population could do that.
Which that actually turns music into like,
you know, like maybe 1% of the population
could run a sub 10, like 1040, 100 meters.
So that's a genetic fucking talent you have.
Like music though has kind of been like,
like you could be the nigga with the horse voice,
the nigga who sound like shit.
Yadi sounds like he got a frog in his mouth, pause or a down the store pulse, but he could still, like, make it work.
When you talk about Whitney Houston or like a Mariah Carey, these are like such talented vocalist that you can't replicate those.
And that was where R&B was for a while.
Now, I ain't allowed.
RMB is kind of devolved where I don't think R&B necessarily is about the vocal performance anymore.
It's more about the substance of what you're singing about.
and I don't think they write records anymore that really has to hit those type of,
like, I'm going to be honest with you, like, and, you know, obviously R. Kelly's, R. Kelly's R. Kelly,
but R. Kelly is better than 99.9 singers today, right?
And just vocal ability.
Because if you're R&B singer, I don't want to sing nobody out.
You don't mean that much.
They're not having these songs that's hitting some wild, like, octaves and shit like that.
Not no more.
Back in the day, yeah, a little bit more.
And thank you.
Somebody's in the chat.
Well, shit, that kind of also went away after Autitude, right?
Because everybody's using Autitude, whether it's like they got it set on 15% or 80%, right?
And what you say?
What if we make an agreement then we can just walk while we're being a friend girl.
You should just see no need to shit.
One thing I say, though, about Drake.
And this is, this is, you know, again, I'm doing a little.
constructive criticisms here
because this guy's the gold
Drake even when he's singing R&B
he gives off a rapper energy
you know what I mean like dog
not for me pause
but like you see how Chris
like Chris Brown make it clear
like this for the ladies
like he's doing the most
this for the bitches
like Drake is still kind of like he's kind of being cool
he's being rapper cool while singing the shit
like nah
nigga like, yo,
traditionally R&B singers
make their bones off kind of appealing
fully to the female.
Like if we were talking about motherfucking,
like, nigga, Usher would have,
not saying we want to see Drake without his shirt.
I'm just saying Usher would be in the rain,
fucking shirtless, damn they're crying,
like licking his lips,
looking at the female.
Like, it was so, hey, I'm trying to appeal to females
in a sexual, sexy way,
Drake me looking up there
like Cameron, just like kind of singing,
you know what I mean?
Like, he just looks like a rapper singing.
You know what I'm saying?
Even Tori Lanes.
Tori Lanes gives off R&B energy.
Like, Tori Lanes gives off heavy R&B energy.
Like, you could tell,
like, he's sexually seducted bitches in the crowd.
Like, they're like, oh my God,
I want to fuck this midget.
You know what I mean?
Yo, Chats, stop.
Stop making me sound weird.
Y'all know exactly what I'm talking about.
This is what I'm talking about.
Because you see,
now we y'all try to make me look stupid,
like, oh, you're just glazing too much.
Chris Brown concert.
Like, Drake is rapping in like a jacket, nigga,
like he's about to, like, rap 5M in Toronto.
Look how Chris Brown,
like, Chris Brown be on stage trying to, like.
Just look at this motherfucker, bro.
Let me, let me find that.
Like, there's like a, a old.
or that R&B singer usually tries to admit any of them.
Because R&B music is about sexuality for the most part, right?
So you usually, this is not even how Chris Brown presents himself normally, right?
But he's at a concert that's primarily for women.
That's he's singing a bunch of love songs or sexual songs.
Like, it's a different vibe.
You know what I mean?
Look.
Like, if I got to explain that still to you, I'm explaining, look at how somebody like Chris Brown performs, because he's a straight R&B artist versus Drake who I think Drake is more rapper than R&B, but he makes amazing R&B.
When he's performing, he performs like a rapper performing R&B, not a R&B singer performing.
That's what I'm trying to say.
This is the R&B singer performing.
This is a rapper, performing R&B.
All right. So, I mean, we'll just kind of focus on the announcement here.
Drake is announcing that he's dropping a collab album with Party Next Door.
He says that he says after Yalla Dunbin outside.
I think that was his exact words, right?
Make sure we get it right.
Do what you need to do.
I know all you girls are outside.
And when it gets a little chilly, party next door at Drake Island will be right there for you.
Okay. So he basically almost says, I'm going to dip out of the summer.
It's pretty much what he's saying.
He's saying, yo, I enjoy y'all summer.
But once it gets a little bit chilly, that's when I'm going to come hitch out with some shit.
Me and party next door, we're coming with some R&B shit.
Okay, let me get my thoughts on that.
First and foremost, I still think we're awaiting that song.
And what I mean by that song, the song where Drake is,
being Drake on.
A song dropped by him,
popping his shit,
or a traditional rap feature.
Now,
I particularly believe
that Drake is going to,
he's going to drop
an R&B focus project,
but he's going to drop
a bunch of features
where he's popping shit
as guest features.
And after the R&B project,
it's going to be like
an honestly never mind type of thing.
Even though, by the way,
come on,
a Drake and party next door,
I should even compare it to that.
No, to suspect Gordo.
We'll talk about you in a bit.
But, yo, if half of the reason why we loved, or I loved,
if you're reading this is too late,
is because of party next door.
So them finally locking in.
And Drake finally, you know, doing something like,
he's giving the nod to not only his artist,
but like, shit, you done did a collab tape with Future.
motherfucking um 21 savage like dog locking with your man's who's on your label i think this could be
something special i think this could be really special now keep in mind we're not going to
ignore the elephant in the room the elephant in the room is how's drake gonna bounce back
with talking a shit now nobody i think we just showed the the the crazy ovation he came out to
like you you have to be sick in the head or maybe i think kenswick fans are a little bit
like they're suffering from some type of syndrome at this point.
But if you think Drake is over, like, you're stupid.
So that's not the case, though, right?
So we don't think Drake is over, right?
I'm not just speaking about me.
I'm thinking about most sane individuals.
Drake is clearly not over.
People still love him.
But people do want to see how he bounces back
or how he comes back from a rap battle.
And what's his type of content going to be?
Is he still popping his shit?
Does he kind of stop the sneak disin?
Is he popping motion?
Does him popping shit now hit different?
You know what I mean?
It's one thing when a nigga walk in the room and say,
man, I slap me shit out of any y'all niggas in here.
Somebody say something.
And everybody quiet.
And he keeps doing it every day, every day.
And then one day he walked in the room and said,
man, I slap a shit out of everybody in here.
If y'all say a fucking word,
and somebody said, man, slap me, nigga.
And as soon as he goes to slap him,
the niggas knocked him out.
You know what I mean?
The next time he walks in.
in the room, niggas is like, let's see what happens now, right?
Like, y'all seen this video?
This video, I've been like, I don't know what this is, but, uh, there's some podcaster
from like Long Island.
The nigger was on his thing.
He said, man, man, I've been talking shit for man long.
Nobody ever put hands on me.
Podcaster.
I don't know.
I can't even find it.
Um, how can I find it?
Did I post it?
nah, no, I know it's on fear, but
Okay, here we got
Nick, we're just like, yo
He said, I've been talking shit for a mad long
I bet y'all won't do nothing to me
Where is this video?
It's crazy because I'm gonna be honest with you
I never seen that guy a day of my life
So this might actually blew him up
If he could deal with the embarrassment
Huh, shit
Oh, am I scrolling so long? I can't find this shit
Go on Twitter
what should I look at what should I look at
or tell me how to find
tell me how to find tell me what a search
oh so no jumper okay okay yeah
it's on their page
they don't got porn on their
thingy do they I hope not
come on Adam don't be a degenerate
that crazy
okay
it's coming it's coming
it's coming oh wait this is
it's on my soul right here
so it's a Long Island
interview I guess he's a podcaster
his name is Cocoa show
apparently, you know, he stand on business.
Now, I don't know his content,
I don't want to categorize him,
but clearly he feels very confident.
Maybe they were going in the back and forth.
Matter of fact, let me see.
Cocoa show?
I want to watch the full thing.
Now, I'm comparing this to,
I guess he's not that well known, isn't he?
Cocoa show?
Long, oh, man.
I want to watch the full thing.
Oh, okay, okay.
I think this is his page right here.
Or maybe not.
All right.
I don't know where the full thing is that.
Anyway, I'll just play this.
Here we all.
Leave it alone.
Yes, I'm on my soul.
Hey, yo, listen, y'all, I've been doing this shit for four years, y'all.
I've been talking shit to everybody.
Who has ever put a hand to?
Oh, my God.
Now, I'm guessing this wasn't on his show.
Oh, this is on Trapland TV.
Trappler.
It's some fucked up shit.
It's your boy, school with Steve.
Is it this?
No, I cannot find it.
It's your boy, school with Steve.
We live in the field.
Welcome back to Travelling TV.
I want to see what led up to this.
But the reason why I was comparing the Drake thing to that is that people are waiting to see how Drake will pop shit afterwards.
Like I am.
And how it will be received.
because it's one thing like remember when um adrian broner uh used to um you know
Adrian Bruner used to like walk into uh he used to be in he used to be in the ring and he used to be
talking mad shit and everybody was cool with him talking mad shit and then essentially it wasn't
until he got knocked out that people would be like bro we're not believe you no more anyway
you're on my soul.
Hey yo listen y'all i've been doing this.
shit for four years, y'all.
I've been talking shit to everybody.
Who has ever put a hand to?
Niggas?
God damn.
Yo, this is, this is,
they said this is the first time
the Bobby Smurter had
landing on the ground, man.
This is,
first I ain't going on a lot of it.
I don't even talk shit to a nigga who looks
discomposed.
A nigger showed up to my interview
in basketball shorts.
He don't look like he's trying to talk.
Is this thing in basketball shorts or whatever?
This thing looks like he's ready to play
like one v.
One look like he's about to be on
He bought to be he you want him NPCs on the side of the court in two case saying
I'm next like yeah hell now like you this type of nigga looked like he came for action
bro.
Now I know it's not his guy right here because this guy did not try to like if this if this your guy
right here you're supposed to fuck trying to get him off of him you're supposed to try to beat this guy up
that's supposed to jump him but he was just trying to break it up
shit.
Yeah, they kicked out the audio and everything.
Yeah.
So I guess I'm like equating to that a little bit.
We want to hear that record where Drake is talking shit.
I want to hear that, yo, you can load every gun with bullet that five backwards,
still won't even lose a single rapper.
I want to hear spicy talk Drake.
And I think, you know, all of this is cool.
But until we hear then, that's when we're going to realize we're like,
oh, nothing didn't change or, oh, shit, damn, Drake talking shit.
Like, like, it's like, what rapper got like either embarrassed or something else happened
that every time they rap, you were like, man, stop playing, bro.
Like, we're not believing you no more.
Like, we just didn't believe you.
Somebody said, that was a tiger uppercut.
So anyway, anyway, back to the Drake shit.
I think this is good.
I'm going to map out what I would give him.
advice to do. I'm going to give y'all the advice. By the way, he hasn't asked my advice.
He's not solicited. So I'm just going to give it publicly. If I'm Drake, I work on this R&B record.
This is going to be fire. I know it's going to be fired. The women are going to be on the side.
They're going to be on like by then. If Kendrick don't drop or something like that, they're going to be
tired of y'all, Kenrick fans because you're not going to bully women into not being in their
feelings. So they're going to tell you how to get the fuck going out of here. This is going to be a fire
record. By the way, here's a thing, too, with him collaborating with the party. We all know parties
He's one of the top five D-O-WA in terms of writers
that have created some of the greatest moments,
so he's going to be good, right?
But how does he satisfy the rap fans?
I always use this advice.
I gave this to Baby, and he took my advice.
Yo, baby, I think you are fraud for taking my advice
and not saying thank you act.
Remember I said, baby got to stop previewing snippets by himself?
He got to just start jumping on people's tracks.
Then nigger can't stop jumping.
jumping on people's tracks now, right?
He got a track with boss man.
Delo. He got a track with,
with, um, um, um, um,
Central C. He got like two more features.
He's, he got a song with, um,
what's my guy named from St Kitt's,
uh, um,
the dude who's sing Taliban.
Like, he got, he's doing the feature thing,
which by the way, I think it's making him look good.
Drake, this is what you got to do, brother.
This is what you got to do.
Okay.
Unfortunately, I know your fans are going to say
So many niggis turn their backs on you
You shouldn't give out features no more
You still give out features.
Let me tell you how you do this.
You give a feature to French.
You give a feature to French.
We know all your features with French.
Fire.
Talking that shit going to be in the clubs.
French going to keep you in the club.
Find like some young new niggil who kind of coming up
Hop on their song too.
Like, you gotta do your feature run.
We need another Drake can't miss run.
Now, this is important.
This is important because not only does your ear have to be right.
Like, for example, the, you beat, that I'm like,
offbeat, off-tune, sexy red, sound like she fin a die song.
And that, okay?
Granted, people are fucking with the song, but still,
We want sniper Drake back.
The nigga who's going to jump on a track like Young Blue, your mind still.
Going jump on a track like you did with Blot Boy, J.B.
We need that for the next couple of months.
Jump on three to four them bitches.
Also, we're not told my 16s here.
We told my 32s, 24ths.
We need the long Drake verse, pause.
Something like you did on Big Amount.
Take the song from the nigger.
you get what I'm saying
you got to do a couple of them
also I'm gonna give you
again I'm giving Drake his own strategies
he's used already
jump on at the top of the song
that when people play your verse
and play their chorus
they cut the song off
it's like your song
that's by the way
I don't know if you I know
that's a trick that most established artists do
if I jump on at the beginning
of the song like I ain't a lot of you
with all due respect
we love amigos but there was a section
of people when Drake jumped on Vasachi
they would cut it off after the course
because they ain't know really the difference
between offset Cuevo and takeoff at that point
so that's a good way you almost snatch they song
you feel me you need to do that
we need four of those I say three to four
and while and while the album is out
because I'm thinking maybe the album comes out
around October
November
you got to make sure you got some club joints
and this is where you got to address all your ops.
You still got to talk slick.
You got to dis, listen, nothing could change.
You got to still diss them bitches.
Megastalian got to catch a stray.
The only nigga you shouldn't give no more ammo to
is, with all due respect, is my nigga ASAP Rocky.
Asap, I heard that you were cooking up an album for Drake,
but the way Drake cooked you, nigga,
it is, I don't even suggest you even do that, my nigga.
you realize that this whole like beef cycle we went through
nobody got cooked worse than ASAP Rocky
the nigga caught a stray every single time
like Ross caught a couple but Ross was fighting back
yo ASAP Rocky caught it the worst
now fuck with ASAP
I fuck with ASAP but Drake
Drake he
it feels like he has more ammo for you
and I think that that's one thing we realize about him
constantly dissing everybody else too
and not just only focused on Kendrick
he was kind of telling us
and this is my opinion
who he probably had the most ammo on
was that nigga ASAP Rocky
and also he was treating ASAP
Rocky like ASAP was meek
he was just spanking him for no
reason just beating his ass
so I seen this recently
apparently Angelie
if you don't know formerly
of the breakfast club she got her own show now on
um
power 105
angelie yee
asap rocky
angelie ye claims she's heard
asap rocky's new project
and she's saying that
there's a lot of
dizzes
a lot of dizzes that seem like
it's going at drake
let me see
what the fuck
let me just look at
what about angelie
is it this
no no no it's way up with
angelie
okay let's see if we can find
it
Where is it at?
It's on one of these little segments.
Is it this?
Probably is this.
Oh, yeah, right here.
As well.
And, hey, it's a great time to go at Drake.
I didn't hear it yet.
All right, you're going to hear it.
And by the way, Mano's been staying out the mix, not getting in trouble, you know?
Absolutely not.
Well, let's talk about some new music because we've been playing ASAP, Rocky's
new song, Hijack, every
hour. It's great. Did you like it? I didn't hear it yet.
All right, you're going to hear it shortly.
But people are saying he's taking some shots
at Drake. And Drake has definitely
taking shots to Asset Rocky.
He really, he did that
and on Family Matters.
And he's talked about Rihanna. Right.
You know, as well. And hey,
it's a great time to go at Drake because everyone is.
And here is what A.SET Rocky had to say
on Hijack.
I swear they pimping Scotty sip and get your wife back
These nicks want my wife bad
The people want my next track
Pimpin Scotty's wife that
I swear they pimping Scotty sip and get your wife back
These nits want my wife bad
The people want my next track
Great, because everyone is
And here is what Aesep Rocky had to say on hijack
Because she liked that
Yeah
No fucking life.
How long was I muted for?
You know what's crazy?
I looked up.
Somebody in the chat said, yo, I can't cook
I'm like, I know I'm fucking cooking.
I know I'm fucking cooking.
Okay, okay.
Now I got to run it back.
Fuck you, niggas, man.
All right.
Let me explain.
Okay.
I'll do it again.
A set Rocky had to say on hijack.
Because she liked that.
Yeah.
Pretty.
I might wife that.
I swear they pimping Scotty sip and get your wife back.
These nicks want my wife bad.
The people want my wife bad.
my next track.
Okay.
All right.
So here's the spiel I said.
You know what?
I think this is another reason why I think that Rocky,
your Rocky, brother,
I'm gonna read the lyrics what Drake said to you on Family Matters.
I'm gonna have to remind you the type of energy
that I think was coming with you on
because this swag rapping shit ain't gonna work in the response.
You need to get that nigga aggressively.
Fuck that swag rapping shit.
You might even have to rap fast or some shit, nigga.
But I'm seeing you potentially go down a path
that the dumbest rapper in history,
I mean, clearly, chat, who's the dumbest rapper in history?
Like, by at least 72 IQ points.
Y'all know we're talking about.
It's a nigga from Philadelphia.
He probably can't spell Philadelphia.
We're talking about Meek Mill
and make sure you capitalize the two L's on Mill.
I've always said this.
Chat, when I go back and I study that Drake and Meek Beef,
I really do believe that Drake,
that Meek could have probably swung it and won,
even though Drake was more popular.
Here's his fatal mistakes.
Number one,
this is the only special ed candidate,
the ESL niggil who you think he speak English,
but he don't.
The dummy of the dummies.
If Meek Mill didn't tweet out the biggest ammo,
like play this,
if me and you were rat battling,
and I knew you're,
girl got fucked, right? And I could put that in my song with maybe prove like, you know what I mean,
let's say I drop a video and I got pictures there, like, you know what I mean? Or let's say it's like
some Jayze and Jayzey when it's going at our mob deep shit. You want to just, that's when you
want to announce it, right? This special Ed nigger, Meek Mill, literally tweeted out three
weeks before we heard his track. The nigger tweeted out, Drake don't write his own run.
Now, keep in mind, everybody at that point St. Drick's one of the best rappers.
He's been compared to Jay Nause.
He's up there with the big three, whatever the case is.
You have a single piece of evidence.
Like, truth be told, like, we have to study this chat.
How do you lose a battle when you have a piece of evidence that's bigger than what push a T had?
You're hiding a child or, nigger, you don't write.
nigga you have the biggest piece of exposure
and you still lost
it takes a special type of stupid
so first of all
if he had revealed
yo
this thing you don't write and obviously
we know we know the story about it but like
he could have trumped it up like yeah this thing is a fraud
he don't write but you got to do it on the record
you got to announce it got to be a reveal oh shit
niggas have been running around like oh my god no way
We probably wouldn't even give a fuck about what Drake had to say afterwards.
You know what?
Why he fucked up?
He tweeted it and let it sit that Drake basically came back and, yo, play this.
This is the equivalent.
And I know I'm being long winded, but this is the equivalent.
It's like me announcing you got steroids, right?
I'm saying you got steroids.
And rather than announce it while we're at the Olympics,
I made it.
I announced it like five weeks before.
Olympics that you could do damage control that you still get to compete versus me.
No, nigger.
As soon as if he had announced that in his first rap song, he just kicked it out the game.
Drake's a bitch.
That nigga don't write his own rhymes and here's the proof.
We'd probably say, we don't want to hear your response, Drake.
No, nigga, disqualified.
What the fuck?
But the nigga tweeted it.
Now we had 40 come out.
We had other niggas come out.
No, Drake does right.
No, it's just collaboration.
They didn't matter.
He allowed Drake to do that.
That's why Meek is a stupid ass nigga.
Second thing.
I've always said, unfortunately,
I don't believe that Meek would have, you know,
if we think about rappers with ammo,
you have some claims that this nigga don't write.
You have a claim that he got pissed on.
You have all these claims about Drake.
How do you lose?
I do believe, and when it comes to men competing,
Unfortunately, sometimes having a girlfriend that's more successful than you becomes something that hinders you.
It's kind of like being out in public and like you body getting some issues with some guys and you got your girl with you.
You kind of have to have a different mentality than that you would with your boys.
You get what I'm saying?
Like you got to have a little bit of a different mentality because your girl's there, right?
Here's the reality of it.
It really should be nothing to shame meek about that he's on.
tour with the maybe arguably the best female rapper of all time other than Lauren Hill and
Missy Ellie than them like that's that shouldn't be a thing however one of the biggest lines from
Drake's this was is that a world tour your girl tour he used the fact that this guy was not
as successful as his girl to be a diss against him and obviously because we live in the
society that's usually you know you know it's like the man is a you know the the breadwinner
to dissent third it worked it did work this is why i say that asap rock he's going down a path
if he's going to respond to drake that's not good number one you know i i used to say with meek
if meek wasn't with nicky not saying i was wishing he was if he was single what would drake
have to say about him like think about the shit okay you're just jealous to me you're unsuccessful
okay cool but you don't get to play him as like some little beta bitch who's stealing out of his
girl's purse like he's like you know what i mean like trying to make him like a safari like
figure now that's far as far as doing that cool this is why i don't like what asap is doing if that's
his response to drake you can't respond to drake by saying oh yeah my girl my girl my girl
the reason why you can't do it i'm gonna be respectful here drake said he smashed your girl so
okay here's the thing these two this is their issue supposedly asap rocky smashed
Drake's baby moms
but Drake smashed his baby moms
So they basically just traded
They both
They're like Eskimo brother
They're Eskimo brothers beefing
They both fucked each other's baby mothers
And now it's like
Okay what's the
Who has the up in the situation
And Rocky's trying to put it on record
Like
You know what was I mean
If we think logically
Duh
He's with a billionaire
Drake's big mom's
a billionaire but it's hard to put that on record when again we're bringing up the meek thing
it's easy to just belittle you remember your girl ain't beefing few it's you we're gonna be
little you and basically say your girl is just carrying you in every type of way like you're a bum-ass
nigger nobody cares about you nobody cares when you rap your girl is the only thing keeping you
relevant this is why drake dissed him like this this is what i say he shouldn't mention this girl
you can't mention riana he's supposed to dis drake on any other shit like i think i'll slap a shit out of
you, you soft.
You can say anything else, but don't mention Rihanna,
because Rihanna's more successful than you,
and it's just easy for niggins to clown you.
Look, this is what he said.
I ain't going to lie.
This shit was a cook.
Rock him talking shit again.
Gas because you hit my B.M. first.
Nigger, do the math who I was hitting then.
Supposedly he was fucking,
Drake was fucking Rihanna at that time.
So it's like, what?
I ain't even know you rap.
still because they only talk about your fit again
probably gonna have a kid soon before you start
before you think about dropping any shit again
again he's using the same angle he went amic about
you're unsuccessful
we only know you for being with this
person who's more successful than you
even when you do drop they're going to say you should have
model because it's mid again smoking fenty about it
should have put you on the first one
trying to get it in
ask fring if this a good idea
the next time you cuddling bed again he's dissing him with rihanna again she'll even tell you to leave
that boy alone before you get your head split again so again so again i agree with rocky trying to
respond but you got sauteed too much and he's using your girl your response could have nothing
to do with your girl like don't use riana as a as a buffer because he's always just going to say
you're a bum-ass niggins and she's lit
and she's like you're the bitch and she's the man
type of shit you know what I mean?
Like that's a way to disson nigga
Well you know
People do want your wife
Right I mean it's Reanna
Yeah so good one with that
But I will
Yeah well here's the thing though
The reason why
And again I'm not saying if we think about it logically
He has a point
Right because like you know
With all due respect to both of them
Who would you want to
to be your significant other.
Drake's baby mom or
Rihanna, like, right?
With all due respect to anybody.
But it doesn't
play that way when it's a diss
when that person is just way more successful than
the guy. Well, say,
he had a listening party, and
from what I hear,
there's a lot of shots taking at Drake
on the album. He has an album coming out August 30th.
Also, here's the thing, too.
You know
how Drake could just like count
this shot right here.
I hit though.
Like, it don't matter.
Like, you can't be like, oh yeah, you didn't get to wife up my girl.
Like, we know how niggas talk.
Yeah, you didn't get to wife up my girl.
But I fuck though.
What are you talking about?
Like, like, that's always the ultimate, like, got you.
Yeah, you didn't get to be in a relationship with my girl.
But I fuck though.
Argument over.
heart like like still fuck
like we all know the meme still fuck
he did that uh
and on family matters and he's talked about
Rihanna right you know as well
and everyone is and here
yeah I might wife that
I swear they pimping Scotty sip and get your wife back
these nicks want my wife bad the people want my next
track
well you know people do want your wife
let's be clear
I mean, it's Reanna.
Yeah, so good one with that.
But I will say he had a listening party,
and from what I hear, there's a lot of shots
taking a Drake on the album.
He has an album coming out August 30th.
Oh, really?
I know that day.
Yo, and I guess, I guess, like,
I don't think I'm being facetious,
but I feel like I'm giving Rocky some advice here.
Rocky, you know Drake a bit, nigga.
Just you got any amount of ammo on a nigga.
Don't use your wife.
She's a more successful.
you and he fucked her.
You can't use her.
Use other things that'll make it hit.
Like if I'm you,
I don't know.
Maybe I was there when Drake got pissed on or maybe I was there when Drake did some punk
sucker shit.
Like bring that up.
That's what you like, like, you know what I mean?
Like, shit, like that would be like some crazy shit.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, August 30s is called Don't Be Dumb.
That's your birthday.
Yeah, happy birthday.
Okay.
Where do you know that date from?
Where do you know that date from?
All right.
All right.
And speaking of relationships,
Cardi B,
and I know we did this at the end of the show yesterday
because she posted.
And we were-
Shout out to Mano.
Oh, Mano is turning,
uh,
how old?
He's turning 52 this year.
No, yeah, 51.
He's turned 51 this year.
Is Meno still like beating niggas up?
Mano had a long history of beating people up, bro.
Very long history.
So anyway,
I'm only giving some general advice just because if I'm Rocky,
if I'm going to hit back at Drake, I got to go for the jugular,
or why even respond when, like, I feel like Kendrick did most of the,
he did most of the worker already.
I'll just be like, yeah, I know I got checked in the game and put up zero points,
but we still look like we still won the game.
You know what I mean?
Rather than now try to do a 1v1 afterwards, like, bro,
Don't 1V1 Drake after the
Like the stadium clears
You should have just
You should have waited
If I'm rocking
Like when that nigga is at the bottom of the pile
You know when you're jumping somebody
And you don't got no beef with the nigga
Or Connie you had a little bit of beef
But you had a little bit of beef but you never fought him by yourself
But you see that nigga down
Everybody getting a kick in
You're like fuck you just ran over there like
One of those?
That's what you should have did
Like Drake looked like he fin to get back up
You don't want to fight that nigga now
You should have dropped this song
Right after Not Like Us
even if it don't hit
niggas gonna be like
alright Drake get his ass
whipped over there
they jumping him over there
you know what I mean
oh really
anyway
I know that day
why it's worth
all right
okay
all right then
so it appears
that we are talking about
a response album
now as I say that
I'm hoping
there's much more substance
to the
response album.
I'm hoping there's more of, um,
I'm hoping there's more substance to the response album than that.
Because here's the thing that I think people are not going to realize.
And I think this is where we get to the mustard topic.
For everybody who are ancillary parts of this battle,
whether you are Rick Ross, whether you are DJ Mustard, whether you're ASAP Rocky,
and obviously with the exception of Metro booming and future.
But whether you're a schoolboy cue, whether you're sir,
whether you're Absol,
whether you're any of those other people who,
Roddy Rich, who may have showed up
and, you know, kind of like your name is kind of mentioned
along some of the lines of, you know,
this back and forth or when people talk about the moment,
I think it's abundantly clear that
I know Kendrick gave everybody a look,
but that look ended.
People only care about Kendrick.
That's a fact.
And I'm being,
I think I'm being respectful in saying,
if, you know,
I heard somebody talking about it.
They said, yo, they said,
why Kendrick, old niggas averse?
He paid them, niggis.
He's like, yo, he gave him a look by coming out on the show.
Bro.
Nobody on that show.
has gotten any type of buzz, any type of uptick in their career by being on that show.
Not a single one.
And I'm not talking about the bigger artists.
I'm talking about the smaller artists too.
As I said, you, artists come out at bigger artist shows all the time.
My nigga, it takes a little bit more for the fans to really fuck with you.
So what's happening now is that people are realizing, yeah, that moment with Kendrick and Drake,
did nothing for y'all now this was my uh a reaction to mustard's reaction of me tweeting out
his sales if you guys are no mustard who produced the beat not like us he actually he responded
to me tweeting out the sales okay so um i tweeted out that dj mustard faith of a mustard seed
that was an album he dropped right after you know you know he even went on
on what do you call it again?
Big Boys platform and he said,
yo, shit, this shit kind of got me back hot.
And DJ Mustard, Big Boy.
And I think if you ask me,
a lot of people felt like the moment of
the Drake and Kendrick battle
was extending to them.
And I'm here to tell everybody
it don't.
like being on stage
producing a song
I was actually really shocked by
Muster's response to this
and I'm going to tell you a little bit of
what our conversation was
so I tweeted out that he sold 18K
first week by the way he dropped this album
after Not Like Us
By the way, not like us when it's not on the album
he dropped pretty much a DJ-oriented
album. Now, it's kind of like what Metro
Booman does, but obviously Metro dropped a future this time, and Metro's been building up
like, you know what I mean? Metro used to do at least 100K by himself.
And I'm just being honest now. Mustard hasn't been
the most relevant person the last couple of years, not that he's ever been
irrelevant, but he's not been the guy who everybody's like, oh my God, he's the
hottest right now. So when I tweeted out that he was selling
18,000 first week,
I didn't think that was a this
I didn't even think he would feel anyway
Why?
I don't think mustard has been popping
Outside of not like us
That crazy
Right now is he a legendary producer
A fucking course
But a lot of times sales is
Is this an indicator of buzz
Right
It's indicator of buzz
And how much people want to consume it
Now granted there might be some songs on this
On this record
I hear there's one son that's fire on here
There might be songs on this record
That end up going platinum
double platinum.
But first week numbers usually indicate
how much people are checking for you at the moment.
So when I tweeted this,
DJ Mustard went on slightly a tirade
and this is what he said.
I'll pull it from his Instagram or his Twitter.
He said,
so he went from saying beyond grateful, right?
Because another page tweeted out.
then he said album sales are a form of white supremacy you niggas is racist
now somebody says well it's only racist when your album flops huh if your album's sold well
you'd be flexing yourselves he's like well your name is thomas omelie then he tweeted out again
he says drake is the malcolm x of white people
which it took me a second to mentally process for what that meant okay and
Academics. Make sure you post Gordo's first week since Drake thought he did a thing with making him drop on the same day as me.
Now that I'm a little bit clueless about, but I'll get to some of the conversation we had later.
Then he says, these Drake bots are the nation of Drieslam.
The bots trying to fade me.
He says, stream the album or I'm going to be a bot your choice.
and he says, I'm not mad.
I'm at my son's basketball game.
They was hooping and they won.
Figured I'd fade some bots.
Still grateful.
A bot can never make me ungrateful.
Fuck y'all, though.
Okay.
Now, I'm probably reading a more aggressive tone
than he probably would want it to be read in
because I talked to him and he was in a joke,
joking jovial mood.
Like, he wasn't mad.
But I'm going to be honest with you.
On the outset or what I first thought when I saw this,
said this was the first public misstep I've seen from people who identify or who seem to be
associated with Kendrick.
I was like, oh, it's the first, like, I know y'all might be like, oh, what about a schoolboy Q think?
Well, he's just reacting.
Like, this felt like this was a spiraling.
It was like, hmm.
Now, granted, the thing with Kendrick keeps everything close to home.
we don't know what he thinks
we don't know where he's at
when I seen this I said
that's interesting
also
usually when people
it's easy to identify someone
spiraling
when you see them clearly making up theories
when you say
album sales
are a form of white supremacy
that seems like you're losing it
when you say
Drake is
the Malcolm X of white people.
That makes it seem like you're blaming Drake.
And then when you say, well, act,
you better post Gordo sales
because Drake made him drop the same day as me,
it now feels like you're teetering the point of delusionality.
Then you continue these Drake bots.
Now, the first and foremost thing,
You know, again, I spoke to him, so I would get into that.
Here's my thoughts.
Is Mustard doing 18K?
I'm not saying it's amazing.
Do I think it's like super bad?
No.
Again, I'm going to keep telling everybody who went on stage,
none of y'all will get a hot song or get,
will sell one record more.
Actually, I believe everybody who went on stage with Kendrick will only sell less.
You realize that Kendrick,
and Drake, the guys who have the biggest fan base in hip hop, just divided their fans.
There used to be fans of Kendrick that like Drake, fans of Drake that like Kendrick.
When people beef, yes, there's attention to the whole thing, but a lot of times fans now start
to hate on the other side.
So you have Kendrick fans who are hoping that everything associated with Drake fails.
Drake fans that hope that everything associated Kendrick fans failed.
So here's the thing.
Will it matter for Kendrick?
No. Will it matter for Drake? No. Who will it matter for?
It's going to matter for the people who feel like people have picked aside.
By the way, and this is my opinion.
I think that's why Yaddy don't be all the way on Drake's side.
Bro, you know how many time Yaddy could have just said, man, fuck.
Be like, listen, I rock with Kendrick, nothing against him.
But, nigger, I'm not bumping no Kendrick. I'm team Dray.
I'm rocking with whatever Drake doing. Like that, that nigger, man, we worked on an amazing project
in the last 18 months like, yo, I'm team Drake.
You don't even got to say nothing like violent.
I'm teen Drake.
He plays it pretty political.
Why?
Because again, this is politics.
You want to be an independent.
That fans from both sides can still fuck with you.
Mustard, you're in the video.
Of course, you produce the beat.
Do an interview about it.
You're on stage having a lot.
said, you're on team Kendrick.
This is like politics now.
So I do believe that that probably costed him some sales.
Because I'm watching how fans are moving.
Drake fans want everything around Kendrick to fail.
And Kendrick fans want everything around Drake to fail.
So maybe that costs them some sales.
And that's what I point out to the middle order guys.
when y'all got involved in this
remember there's nobody on drake's side
that has been like oh i'm just on drake's side
and they're gonna be like they kind of either just went low
disappeared 21 savage been overseas longer than he
longer than he spent in the uk we haven't seen 21 savages
years that's my guy i'm joking all that one we haven't seen 21
years my dick right
You feel what I'm saying?
Staying out.
Everybody else on the West for the most part,
it was Crip Walking.
It was there.
So I do believe it's hurt these guys.
I think that must have lost a little bit of sales.
Not a lot.
Maybe 3,000 people, 5,000 people.
And this is what I always used to say about,
I used to say this about Nikki Minaj when it comes to female beef.
Nicky Minaj fans
only like Nikki Minaj.
Let me say it again.
Nikki Minaj fans,
Barbes, only like Nikki Menaz.
And she only,
and those fans only support someone
when Nikki explicitly says it.
Yo, go support J.T. for this one project right now.
Any other time, come back to me.
I'll tell you how to do.
That's Kendrick fans.
A lot of people, I believe,
indulge in the moment.
Now, I'm not talking about mustard.
Mustard did what he's supposed to do.
That's what I'm so surprised about this.
Brother, you,
produce the song that you should own half the
publishing that's going to go diamond.
Not like us is going to go diamond.
Nigger, if I was mustered, this is why I can't understand
his explanation. Brother, I would be like,
nigga, fuck the sales on my album.
Nigger, I got a song that's going to go diamond.
That's how I would respond to it.
By the way, he told me yesterday he's actually independent.
I didn't know it was independent.
So like, for me, I was like,
what a, bro, if I had a song, that's the biggest
song in hip-hop maybe for the last two, three years,
you think I'll be feeling bad about no goddamn album sales
nigga I'm the producer the people who I think should be worried
are those other people who didn't produce a song
who just showed up on stage to show up on stage
so back to the the Nicki fan comparison
for everybody on the West Coast
Kendrick fans aren't West Coast fans
that might be tough to comprehend
but I'm going to break it down.
A lot of people looked at the moment,
and I kept hearing people saying the moment,
the moment.
Now, they also say the moment a different way.
Oh, it brought everybody together.
I haven't seen any byproduct of people coming together.
It's like saying that, oh, yeah, we just did a march
or did a protest, but everybody go home
and go back to doing the same shit.
Nothing changed.
I don't know what the togetherness moment did.
It was a cool moment.
It was a great moment, actually, but I don't know.
I don't know what the result of it was, but let's keep down that path.
I believe some of the people who indulged, primarily indulged,
because they felt that some of the byproduct of being on the side
that said West Coast or Kendrick, it was going to be a trickle-down effect.
Kendrick is doing phenomenal numbers, blowing it out the park right now.
but I think a lot of people said, well,
yet them same fans going to kind of come to us too, right?
Nope.
That's something people don't realize.
The majority of people who made this moment big
ain't fans of even West Coast music.
They're fans of Kendrick Lamar.
What have I said in criticism about the West Coast?
I keep saying the West Coast,
they have an innate problem
that a lot of shit is popping on the West,
but it's only on the West.
Kendrick is an international artist.
And let me also tell y'all this,
because I've heard this,
I've heard like a radio personality say this.
If Kendrick makes West Coast
or Bay Area Sound and Music,
I'm going to tell you, I'm going to be honest with you.
They won't go listen to Bay Area Sounded artists.
Now, they're going to listen to Kendrick Lamar
and go right back to Boss Man D. Low
in future and go listen back to Drake.
That's which I don't realize.
Let me use another fan base.
Eminem's fan base.
That's Kenj Glamar.
Eminem fan base are some fans
that don't listen to no hip-hop,
but Eminem.
Dude, it's the death of the shady.
They go listen to that shit.
And right when Spotify says,
we're now going to suggest
not like us, they said,
let's get back to our
rock music back to our country.
What the fuck?
Let's get out of here.
We're not listening to a hip-hop.
We listen to Kendry.
No, no, we're just in an M&M.
That's what Kendrick fans a lot are.
That's going to be a sober and reminder for everybody who was like jumping around thinking,
oh man, yo, there was a part of niggies that was like, oh, my God, the West is up.
This is our time.
Didn't that.
I didn't call it?
I said, it's not y'all time.
It's Kendrick time.
They only care about Kendrick.
They don't care not.
actually y'all did y'all did y'all did y'all's disservice because y'all just subtracted any drink fans that might be your fans now one of them is going to go check out y'all music more here's also the thing that matters because when people talked about how the trickle-down effect was supposed to work the trickle-down effect can't just end at a concert kendrick tweeted out xxentatio on his album he did help x that's a fact do you think kendrick will be tweeting now
any of these guys from the West Coast
who showed up on stage album?
By the way,
I do think if he tweets them out,
his fans will go listen.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
They're barbs.
If Nikki says go do this,
they'll go and listen.
If Kendrick don't say nothing,
and he disappears,
them fans don't activate.
All they do is focus on hating on Drake.
But Drake, what about you?
nigger
fuck that
y'all ain't see like three
West Coast
Harder drop it
Why I'm not supporting
I thought you I said
The pop-up was the best shit
The pop-out was the
best shit ever
So that's the thing
Now
I'll make a small bet
I don't think
Kendrick gonna send out a tweet
Not a story
I already told you
I don't think
nobody get no verses
So
You know what's gonna happen
We're gonna see
flop flop flop flop flop flop flop flop flop flop flop and then kentrick going to drop his album and do phenomenal
numbers and here's the funny part about it the same niggins who showed up on stage
who was dancing who was dissing third and tweeting yo we up west up all their project's gonna flop
their consterns is going to get canceled guess then guess what's going to happen
Kendrick's going to come out, do better numbers, or let's say equal numbers as Drake,
and they're going to still celebrate.
Yes!
The West is back!
No, it's not the West.
Kendrick is an international superstar.
You're a local superstar.
Not talking to Mustard, by the way.
I keep saying Mustard shouldn't even be in this because Mustard produced a fucking beat.
You're a producer.
Like, yo, muster, you're supposed to be over here like thumbing through a check off the...
Your pub check going to look ridiculous.
Why are you...
Why is mustard in rapper first week conversations?
Like, I'll be laughing at niggies.
I'll be like, yo, hey, we're about a certified not like us,
five-time platinum.
What's you talking about?
Who cares?
That one song is like equal to five albums.
What are you talking about?
You know what I'm saying?
So I don't know why mustard is like even in this.
But I'm telling you what's going to happen.
I'm telling you what's going to happen.
Now, it's not fair for y'all to say,
We can't speak out of both sides of our mouth also, right?
At first, y'all said, yo, Drake uses bots.
Well, when it was supposedly revealed when I was like, well, I don't have the proof on Drake at the moment, but I heard that there was other artists and I didn't name some of ours, but I said, oh, I heard Kendrick did use some bots.
Bots are being used in hip-hop.
That's just, it's a fact.
I'm not just trying to only pinpoint it.
You know what, niggins said, ah, impossible.
Okay, all right, cool.
I'll back up with my bot thought, cool.
How ironic that now
they're still doubling down on Drake using bots.
So let me get this straight.
Drake used bots to inflate his numbers,
but he also used bots to decrease other niggins numbers.
The nation of Drism got to be good.
Can't talk out both sides of your mouth.
Now, all good.
Again, I still think muster should not be in this conversation.
Mustard, you, and by the way, did you check out Mustard's album?
Let me put it up on here.
Because I hope y'all do check it out.
You know, the album is kind of good.
It's kind of good.
Like, I always say producers make good producers make great albums.
Good producers make great albums.
Always remember that, okay?
My boy got Kirk Franklin on the intro.
He got Lil Yadi, 42 Doug, Vince Staples, schoolboy, Q.
got clavo rap
49 yo do you know
he got Travis Scott on this motherfucker
do you know
he got tied out of son Charlie
Wilson and Missaigo on his album
you know A Biggie with a hoodie on his album
bro and blast you know
Roddy on his album do you know future
it's on his goddamn album tied out of
Charlie Wilson does somebody tell you
that Ella May made the project
nobody told you that young thugging
Dirk on it too
I know I know y'all heard that
Kodak was on it.
I promise you.
One tweet from Kendrick,
this shit would a soul 40K,
at least.
Yo,
Kendrick got the juice in his hand.
Pause.
He got the infinity stones right now.
Kendrick got all the infinity stones
that an entire coast
doesn't help him gather.
It's not like he went gathering by himself.
The nigger used gangs.
L.A.
West Coast
I'm doing this for Park
He did that
And gathered all the infinity stones
Do you think he'll snap the finger
For any other person but himself
What y'all think
Any features
Any shoutouts
Throw it up on a story for me big bro
Can I get a drop from you bro
You are cold motherfucker Kendrick
I like that
I like that
I like that
I like that.
I like that, man.
You look at Kendrick Feed.
This is cold.
Last thing that nigga tweeted was not like us, man.
That nigga don't even, you know.
Yo, I got to respect it.
I got to respect it because I don't think nobody gets to the top of the music business
without being selfish and one-sided.
I think Drake did that too
I think artists play that game
You know I mean
This is why like meek and dirt
And them used to get mad
When they feel like
Niggins didn't put their shit up on the story
And when you
When Ken, yo
How much I want to bet chat
How much I want to bet
When Kendrick dropped
Every rapper
Media personality
A NR
Producer,
Engineer going to throw up his album
On their story
West up
the West is up
Ain't nothing like celebrating a victory
For one nigga thinking it's for
Oh yeah I kept saying that
There's only one nigga that one
But I keep hearing a niggas from the West saying they won
I'm like I think you're not in the game
That's like let's say Drake won and I say I won
How I win?
You a cold nigga Kendrick and I fuck with you for that
I'm not even going to lie to you okay
Now mustard as I said
I don't think you should be caring about record sales
But if if if
If
Kendrick wanted you to
sell 20K more, that's one tweet.
Like, he has all the infinity stones.
Like, he has so much control on
whatever he does right now
could just fuck the entire game up.
That if he cared to do something, it would be done.
Anyway, not saying he has to.
And I like how he's doing it because to keep it real,
if I was Kendrick, I do the same shit too.
I'll be watching all y'all niggins like,
Crip Walk and Blow Walk. And I'll be like,
damn, man, thank you all for promote my.
shit. That's what I'm telling my. I'm going to catch y'nigs. I'm going to drop my album.
I'm going to catch out niggins when I'll get back to New York.
Anyway.
All right. So, I talked to Muster. I did. I did people. Talk to Muster. First and foremost,
he wanted to let me know. He said, act. Let's get this shit straight, bro. Let's get this shit straight.
It looks like I'm mad, but, naga, I'm not mad. Like, I'm a jokester. And if you do know
Munster's personality, he is a jokester. And I want to be very fair, too. That's not what
she was on here. Must her be having mad jokes, bro.
Like, he wanted niggins to be cracking off people, right?
Like, if you ever see him and we could play a little bit of this, you'll notice he's
always, like, laughing or, like, joking, like, the guys, he's funny.
I ain't going to allow to you.
He's pretty funny, right?
He was basically saying, you know, act, I wasn't mad, you know?
And he was just like, I just feel it's interesting.
And I said, what do you think is interesting?
Because I told him, I said, hey,
To be honest, one of the main reasons I tweeted out sales wasn't, like, no disrespect to him.
I wasn't like, oh, Mustard's album is the first week numbers are here.
It's like, it was more Ice Spice, who we'll talk about that too.
Bro, ice spice just came out and did 20K.
You get what I'm saying?
It's like, she'll be told.
I thought she was going to do like 60, 70.
I was a little shocked.
So when I usually start tweeting out, and really it was an ice, I was checking because,
of ice spice because I want to say how much she did she did 20 and when I start tweeting out
the new debuts for the week and what they do I tweet all of them out that's usually in the top
like 75 or something and mustard was there so that's why I tweeted his thing out now also you
know one of the reasons I was communicating with him is because you know sometimes we get like
really uh you know these artists I keep telling people like all of us shouldn't take this shit
too serious and again I
I'm taking mustard even out of what I'm about to say
because muster is going to make millions of dollars
from not like us, right?
But all of the other artists, right?
Y'all shouldn't take this shit too serious
because the two artists involved,
they're getting a shit ton of money.
So it's like they're getting a shit ton of money from the beef.
So why would you put your career in jeopardy?
Or like everybody else don't stand to gain as much.
Right?
So he started to explain a few things to me.
Right?
So he's basically saying, yo, he said act.
Drake, he's like, you and a lot of people don't know what Drake be doing.
He's like, Drake do a lot of underhanded shit.
So what do you mean?
And I guess he's referring to the tweet where he's like, bro.
And I guess what I was saying like, you know, sometimes we all feed into the
battling this beef or whatever it's too much but we become cynical now granted i really don't know
if this is drake and y'all can tell me if you think it's drake he literally believes that drake told
told um gordo if you don't know who gordo is gordo is he used to be known by the name
dj carnage when he did hip hop he used to do hip hop and he was like you know kind of hip hop edm
now he does house music and he goes by gordo so there's if you look at carnage that's him right
He also had that song,
What you want, tell me what you want, right?
But now he goes by the name Gordo.
He's doing primarily house music.
Him and Drake obviously kind of connected for, honestly, never mind.
And if you go to Gordo,
apparently I didn't even think about it
because Gordo doesn't make hip hop.
He's making house music.
I look at primarily hip-hop.
Now, granted, there was two Drake songs on it,
so we were like looking at it.
But again, there weren't anything.
even hip-hop Drake songs.
Apparently, he dropped on the same date as mustard.
Mustard is in belief that Drake did that.
Like, oh, that's Drake being slick.
Now, I'm going to be honest with you.
I don't want to be a glazer.
So I don't want to be like, oh, no, you didn't do it.
And I don't even want to go axed, drink.
Because would Drake even tell me the truth?
But I was also thinking, I'm like, really?
Do you think Drake is like that petty to force Gordo to drop his album on the same date as yours?
Because I guess he'd think that, oh, no, Drake was trying to make that nigga embarrass me.
He gave that nigga two tracks.
Makes him drop on my release date.
He's Drake's DJ damn there or closest thing to Drake's frequent collaborator DJ.
And some people called me like, yo, I'm a close.
I produce not like us
So they put me on the Kendrick side
So it's like almost like a little showdown
And he's like
Yo it's crazy because all the y'all are reporting
My sales
I saw 18K
But I'm independent
And Drake does some under
Underhanded BS
Push that shit out
I'm has that nigga drop
That nigga doesn't even make the charts
Right
So so by the way
Gordo sold less than
Gordo
less than
mustard,
just to be very clear.
Now, me,
I don't really give a fuck
because the niggas
not making hip-hop.
Like,
I'm not gonna go listen
to these songs.
These ain't hip-hop.
You know,
but for the little white crowds
like you
and Mickenones
and some shit,
like it's all of this shit,
you know what I mean?
But when I'm listening
to DJ Mustard,
mustard's saying,
now Drake try to be slick.
Drake's trying to do some weird shit.
And it started to dawn on me
that the majority of the West Coast is feeling because, like, you know, he didn't get into specifics.
But, but, um, muster said this to me say, yo, act, yo, trust him, believe me, bro.
That nigga Drake is doing shit behind the scenes fucking with people over this shit.
And he specifically said, yo, that's why I think, you didn't say, think.
He said, that's why I know what Yadi said is cap.
Yaddy's saying the niggas not bothered.
The niggas mad bothered.
The niggis bothered because he's doing things that's fucking.
with us now again you know no glaze in here i'm trying not to glaze because y'all keep accusing me
that he feels based on what he knows in no you know the guys in the industry the guys you know
these guys sometimes said their their album release said for a while i don't know if gordon moved
this release i don't know none of that he's like yo bro trust me the niggins trying to fuck with us
you get what i'm saying and i was and i thought about and i was like let me think do i like
Now I'm at the point where I got to call niggies on the West, either crazy,
or I got to say Drake is like this little mastermind who's getting at all his ops one by one in very strategic ways.
Schoolboy Q, no concert.
You know this.
Rick Ross, you get punched.
You, I'm going to have my guy dropping album who's also a DJ on the same day.
Overshadow you.
I'm going to give him two records.
So I'm like, you know, you ever watch a detective movies when you feel like you were like, what the fuck?
You figured out the crime.
I'm like, what?
Is Drake doing all this?
I really don't know.
So I'm going to tell you that I really don't know.
And I don't want to ask him because I feel like I know, like I think Drake tells me, honestly, I think he tells me truth on certain shit.
But like if I was supposed to ask him right now, which I think he wants to do his announcement, if I said, Drake, tell me your album release date and the name of your album.
Bray, he's not going to tell me that.
He was going to just like evaded some how it lied to me.
You know what I'm saying?
So like, I wouldn't ask him this question like, Drake, are you fucking with these guys?
I'm pretty sure he's going to be like, I'm not fucking nobody.
Like, this is just coincidence.
But now I'm thinking, I'm like, is mustard?
So mustard wasn't, he was saying that he's not mad about the sales.
He feels this is part of just a larger thing, even in like how people are trying to be,
oh, he flopped this and third.
It's like, well, bro, I'm a producer.
I drop this shit independently.
Why nobody focusing that, like,
not like us is going crazy.
Now I produce.
And I think he feels like Drake's plan of having him and back.
I don't know what it is.
I ain't going to lie, bro.
This shit getting deeper and deeper, bro.
I ain't going to lie.
I don't know.
I don't know, bro.
I don't know.
Like, I'm like sitting here.
like, I'm like, what?
So now I'm like, yo, it's like Drake like some evil master,
well, not like even, but like some mastermind,
just kind of like, history, don't let him in.
Wait till he gets to Canada, then cancel the show.
Then we're going to have him melt.
Because here's the thing.
Again, I ain't going to quote necessarily what our schoolboy Q did as a meltdown.
But if Drake is pulling the strings,
look like he's having everybody around dot go through these meltdowns
where now they're just calling him yo they brother the niggins literally said
the nigga is the malcolm exo white people like yo that i'm like so now i'm like
because i'm like his drake pulling but then i think i'm like well drake wouldn't have
the string for him to plot but he's telling me he's like it's not about the number
It's not about the number
It's that I knew
He tried to set up
A showdown with me and a producer he works with
So he gives the nigger two songs
To go against me
I still beat him
But the media still comes out with
My sales instead of his sales
Which
I guess he was saying
Why are we not talking about Drake
He's like
This is exactly what he said
He said act
Why isn't a comment
conversation that Drake gave a nigger two songs and the niggas still didn't
outsell me even though by the way he has Travis Scott future and all I guess you
know what still he was like so I was thinking I was like huh I don't know man oh no
Vanessa said why am I entertaining this I don't know I think muster gave a compelling
argument I was like yo maybe Drake is maybe Drake is pull it calling all the shots
That's the finders.
Yo, he said exactly that.
He's like, yo, he throws stones and hides his hands.
I'm like, hmm?
But not like, not on some disson.
I guess we're just like, yo, he's, he's.
And I guess this is what people are trying to say.
Like, I've been hearing this, like, slightly.
They're like, yo, Drake's warfare is behind the scenes.
And I guess they're saying the nigger clearly is bothered
because if you're not bothered, you're not constantly
behind the scenes
fucking with
some of the guys who
you know
like
like even Musser was like
man I got nothing against Drake
but shit I produce a song
fucking produce a song
you know what I mean it's like
should I not show up
and I'm like yeah that makes sense too
like bro
if I produce not like us
shit I'll be bouncing too
nigga like Paul's like
I'll be just like you'll come
on.
I don't know.
So I don't know if he was just trying to deflect from the numbers and be like, no, it's
Drake.
But Drake sounded like a villain out of Gotham City right now.
Is Drake doing all this?
Blocking people from performing, getting them touched.
Pause.
Not like that.
Subtracting their sales and putting people up to compete against them by giving out
songs. I don't know.
Shit, that made for a great story.
I was trying to get that nigga to come on here. I love that theory.
I'm like, whether it's true or not, that theory works.
I'm in media. I know what the theory works, my nigga.
I said, that theory is lit.
I don't know if it's true or not.
Nigger, I want to entertain that theory so much.
I don't even want to ask Drake. I don't even want to be able to say,
oh, I asked Drake, and he said, no.
Like, I'm not even asking shit.
Nah, no, no, that sounded good.
Drake, yo, this is a,
This is how this is how Mustard had me thinking about a drink last time.
Pause.
This is that.
Right here.
You see the shadow in the back of the room.
He's the one directing traffic.
Yeah.
He is the one that's all afraid of.
Yeah.
He's the one that's king slime.
King Slime Drizzy, Drake!
He's pulling the shots.
Oh.
He is the most dangerous of the 28, Judge.
This is, y'all.
This is how they got.
I'm like, is the.
Boy, a super villain?
Joe.
And I implore you not to grant him a bond.
He is dangerous.
The setup they've given to you is actually going to be less control.
If he gets a burner judge and the court may know this.
Nah.
This is how to describe it like Drake right now.
Look.
You see the shadow in the back of the room.
Thug, he is the one they're all afraid of.
The thugger.
He's the one directing traffic.
Oh, man.
You know how many intros in this would be crazy?
That you see the shit.
Yo, you ever heard the shit over the superheroes and villain beat?
Super.
The future song.
Hero.
Wait, what was that song called?
Uh, future super.
Yeah, super.
Oh, is this called superhero?
Nah, you got to get with the super.
Superhero intro.
That you see the shadow in the back of the room.
Nah, I've heard it with that intro.
That intro goes hard.
Actually, I could remake it right now.
Let me do it.
Let me do a superhero instrumental future.
You're right here.
Oh, yeah, right here.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Here we go.
Ready? This is how they do it.
control. If he gets a burner judge and the court may know this, a lot of the communications
that Mr. Williams is on is on face time because it's not traceable, it's not trackable.
And we know that to be their MO. He gets a burner, he gets in there, he runs his gang from
inside and he won't get that and no one's going to throw his set.
Nah, that's your heart. That's how they told my drink.
Bro, bro, I got this, I don't know what's going on.
I don't know what's going on.
I don't know what's going on, man.
Anyway, somebody said, oh, I got to have God's plan playing over it.
Let me see.
God's plan.
Now, nothing sound more kind of like epic as that beat, bro.
But, all right, let's try this.
That you see the shadow in the back.
Nah, it's too happy.
of the room.
He's the one directing traffic.
He is the one that we're all afraid of.
He's the one that's king's slime.
He's pulling the shots.
Nah.
He is the most dangerous of the 28 judge.
And I implore you not to grant him a bond.
He's dangerous.
Why I tell him to go to Speed's live?
What's going on with my boy Speed?
Speed!
What's going on?
He's jumping over a car?
Hey, nobody thinks these are real, right?
Like, when a niggas jumping over a car, is this real?
Is that...
This got to be big.
I don't know why you laughing, bro.
It's not a game.
I'm not laughing.
It's him right there.
I don't know why he laughing, bro.

Legs get shaky.
That might have been, you know we could slow it down, right?
Tell me if I see anything weird.
Look, his feet didn't even fully clear it yet.
And the shit is probably like two meters from him.
Look, at this point, it looked like his foot could hit like the windshield almost.
Oh, but damn, he does get up crazy.
He does get up crazy.
What do you think his life insurance package is like?
What do you think his life insurance package is like, bro?
So I said that wasn't closed.
It was pretty.
Yeah, it's damn near perfect.
You know, to time both of those is like ridiculously perfect.
I'm just take it for what it is.
Okay, I guess it's real, right?
I guess it's real.
All right.
All right.
We're back to some hip-hop shit.
We're back to some hip-hop shit.
I forgot, um, chat, what were you out thinking about?
So Ice Spice.
She sold 20,000.
What do you all think about that?
Or I'm seeing Ice Spice.
Now, I've always said, remember I told you that before?
Ice Spice is a singles artist.
She drops a single, waits, like, she follows a 6-9 method that he, by the way, she signs the same label as 6-9 was, or is actually.
She drops the single, she's supposed to, like, burn that single out for a month and a half, then she's supposed to drop another one.
She's not an album artist.
I don't think people care about a body of word for Ice Spice.
I think people care about these one-on-a-one.
off singles. Maybe this time she
got a Central C
the next time she got Mickey. I don't think
we want, and I think this is like
such a, you know, this is a change for
artists in the game. And
a lot of times they drop these albums
just to fulfill requirements
in their, in their deal.
So, you know, it's crazy because we're getting
into this time where the album is
becoming less and less valued.
Yet, in all of these contracts,
these artists are signing, it doesn't
say drop two singles and then
we give you more money.
It says when you drop the album,
we need the album.
And it's kind of crazy because they're still holding these artists
who I don't think are album artists to an album requirement.
I think that this doesn't help Ice Spice.
Her selling 20K first week,
whether it was an EP or whatever,
it breaks the illusion of how hot you think she is.
Right?
Her selling this breaks the illusion of how hot you think she is.
Why most of these artists live on illusion, right?
Especially from, look, you go on her Instagram, let's say her last post, right?
Or whatever, like, let's say this.
You look at the likes.
You look at the numbers, engagement, right?
It's so crazy engagement, you know, 1.1 million likes.
1.7, 1.8.
Look, look, she used to have 21,000 people commenting.
14,000 people commenting.
She dropped some with the Central C.
15,000 people commenting.
10,000 right here, right?
10,000 over here.
16,000, 12,000.
I think these recent ones are just because she was promoting the album a lot.
But her Instagram numbers, actually was two weeks ago,
but that's the Spotify post, I believe.
That's Spotify post, yeah.
Yeah, this is her post.
Her post is this, 12,000 comments.
Like, you look at these numbers and they look so fucking insane that you're like,
damn, these artists are so lit, right?
Like, you know, you even think about, like, say an artist, like, 6'9,
like, when 6'9 drops, like, his Instagram numbers are out of this world,
his YouTube numbers are out of this world.
But his streams are not.
Same with Ice Spice.
When she drops, and that's why I said dropping an album doesn't help someone like her.
find a new gimmick for a new song.
You know, every time she drops the song,
it's like almost a new gimmick, right?
When she was going at Lado,
you're not even a shit,
you're not even a fart.
That was that gimmick.
This gimmick is,
oh, he's cheating on me, I'm doing him worse.
You see her with Central C.
That's the gimmick.
It's going to sell the song,
the song won't go gold or platinum, right?
But then when you see a full, like,
you know what I mean,
they don't get to work this gimmick out
because I still don't get this gimmick with her and Travis Scott.
Travis Scott's hot, but this is not even Travis Scott's Lane.
So there's a...
Oh shit.
She turned off the spot.
Like, it would be good if there was a gimmick with this.
Like, you know what I mean?
Again, and maybe I'm saying like, most of these artists are kind of gimmicky.
You know, like, there's a gimmick with it.
And even though I love, you know, I rock with sexy red and like everything she got going on.
But she drops music on a gimmicky way.
Oh, whose baby is this?
Then she's like, fuck my baby daddy.
Then she does the whole thing with Chief Keefe and then drop a song.
She and Aiden, then is getting sexy.
She does the whole thing put Drake's in the, like, you know what I mean?
There's some gimmicks before these songs, but what it tells you is that they're selling a song.
They're not selling a body of work, right?
Like, there's few female artists.
Let me not make it a female artist thing.
It's a few artists in general that you're expecting a body of work from them, right?
And I think at some point
At the bigger you get, we expect a body of work
Like for example, say
There's few exceptions like a Doja Cat
She's very eclectic
But I do think she gives the body of work
The Ice Spices, the
JTs, the
Sexy Reds
I don't think
I think it's better off when they just give us singles
Because they give us the best of
What would be on an album
rather than these artists, they're not given us substance,
they're just giving us fillers for an album.
So you might as well just have them give you the single
because the single is going to be the hottest ones out of the bunch.
So for artists like these,
I hope they just abolish this feeling like they have to give an album
or at least a label doesn't rewrite these deals
because when IcePice sells 20K,
it breaks the brainwashing of the fan that she's so hot.
Because what labels are really good at doing is creating brainwashing to fans to say,
this is the hot thing.
And if you're not tuned in, it's FOMO.
And whether they started by fake numbers or fake stories or fake relationship,
eventually you buy in.
And that's what I always tell you.
Remember I was talking about the botting situation?
The bottom situation don't mean, if somebody bought it some views,
it don't mean that three months later is going to be 90% bought it.
It's probably going to be 5% bought it.
The botid shit is just to get,
you brainwashed.
Yo, this is hot.
You're missing out if you ain't listened to it.
So you know what you do?
If everybody listen, let me go listen.
You go listen.
You might like it.
Or maybe you don't even really like it,
but it's kind of like fomo.
So you're not playing it more and more.
You're like, all right, fuck it.
I'm a shit.
If this would everybody listen to,
maybe I'm missing something why it ain't hot.
So you keep playing it,
plain it, plain it, plain it.
Now you like it.
So now they keep doing less and less bots.
And then over a while,
they've converted or brainwashed
a bunch of people.
Here's my thing.
I think Ice Spice has done that.
Like,
bro,
you know,
even though I've said that,
you know,
she's a lyrical genius
with some of the shit.
Bro, she broke out the gate
with munch.
A fast rapping,
kind of offbeat,
watered down,
very simplistic song.
Like,
there's no reason
why Ice Spice needs to drive an album.
She should be dropping singles.
Collabs.
You know what I would have done?
I would try to get her with sexy red and drop not an album, a four-pack.
A four-pack of twerkwind.
Okay?
That's how we would have done it.
Let's just mix down a bunch of songs,
something that's really an EP for songs,
and we're going to work all four of those songs as singles.
So, again, I don't think her label did her any favors here.
But it then makes me wonder,
is I-Spice number about to be called?
Is Ice Spice done?
Let me explain why.
Anytime you start thinking about the music industry,
there's bigger things that play.
And for some of y'all, Nicky Minaz fans,
this is where you come into, you know,
I'm a professor.
Professor Academius is actually lecturing right now.
You're going to take a seat.
I know you want to relate everything to Nicky Minas,
but take a seat and put that.
cone on your head because you stupid as fuck i'm gonna break down what's going on the game right now and
i'm gonna tell you why i have a theory about ice spice and why she might be in trouble she better heed my
warning or people close to her listen to my theory ice spice first came in the game and was distributed
on the first song called munch through world star okay this is music talk and if you don't have music
knowledge if you watch my stream over time you probably got a little music knowledge or maybe come for the music
industry if it's too late to give you a crash course so you're gonna have to either get what i'm saying or not
get what I'm saying.
So she came in the game independently.
She dropped through Create.
No, no, she dropped through World Star.
Then she dropped through Create.
She was an independent artist who caught fire.
She signed a bigger deal, multi-million dollar deal, through a label that also houses
Strippy Red, that also houses Takashi 6-9, and was owned or is owned by the son of the
biggest and most powerful person game named Lucian Grange.
Some of these names might go over your head if you're not keeping up with the music
business but I'm giving you a music business game now cool doing great she was doing amazing about a
year ago and even afterwards with the one single per month method everything is going crazy
they're getting on the right features blah blah now some of the things by her her own doing hasn't
helped her fall now with nicky a few other things that i won't mention um her best friend keep
exposing her but still is i spice very pretty girl
They're marketing her of sexuality. That's working and even though she's not the best songwriter and the songs aren't the most prolific
They are working for the short period of time and her songs had a
Burnout period of about two to three months
So as long as she kept replenishing her buzz seemed like it was continued to grow
Okay, also she fits the bill pretty young attractive doesn't say much we don't know opinions about nothing we don't even like what she's
know what she likes for breakfast.
All we know is this is a girl who sexualized who, yeah, cool.
What happened, though, and this is a little bit of music game right here.
So the label she was signed to is 10K projects, 10K project.
By the way, I'm saying this, and if you don't know, I keep telling you, I have a label deal over there.
Okay.
So I got labeled it.
This is Takashi's labeling in Tripirazis.
able 10K projects in September 10K projects leaves capital they had a they had a
jv distribution deal through capital okay uh I think before it was called Caroline then
it was called Island something and they left that deal and then they went through Warner
Music Group now I'm giving you a real crash course and and you need to keep up as I said I'll
give more explanation probably another time, but it would take me so long to just explain how
the music industry works.
Cool.
Here's a few things you need to know.
And I am giving you a little bit of a tutorial to it.
So the guy who runs the music industry, the biggest boss, the real biggest boss,
his name is Lucian Grange.
That's him right there.
Okay?
This is the guy who they say Drake empowers Drake.
This is the guy who controls UMG, which has about a 40% market share.
on all music, right?
So they're the big dog.
He has a son.
His son is Elliot Grange.
This is his son.
Congratulations to him.
It's my boy, by the way.
Mayhem, we've kicked him many times,
reasoned many times.
He has a beautiful wife, by the way,
which is Sophia Richie,
which is now, I believe, Sophia Grange.
Congratulations to them.
They're beautiful together.
All right?
Elliot, you're my guy, always.
Now, here's the funny thing,
and listen to the story.
As much as we've made it a big thing, right?
We made the big thing in sports.
You know, LeBron got his son on the Lakers.
What most people have pointed out is that nepotism actually goes a long way
and is usually the core and center of the majority of businesses that's ran in every industry.
Love my guy, Elliot.
Elliot was in the UK.
His father is running the biggest company in music in the United States.
he brings his son over here.
But now, remember, you're the top dog, the CEO of Universal Music Group.
Your son is an unproven, unknown person in the music industry.
How do you get his son to become your successor?
Remember, nepotism works everywhere else, except when LeBron does it.
Well, the first way you do it, you get him to, remember, there's dozens of people in line that is,
quote quote qualified to be the next up if you retire
but do you want to give the reins to anybody
other than yo son nepotism
cool
by the way I'm not saying it's a bad thing
Elliot goes on a proven ground
here's the proven ground
all right son
if you don't know the music business is a
revolving musical chairs
is a web
when one person gets fired from Def Jam
they go over to Epic it gets fired from Epic it goes to Columbus
He gets fired from, I'm Columbia.
They get an upgrade and they go to motherfucking republic.
It's same faces.
And they all wait till people retire.
And when somebody retires, you now become the guy.
And that's your reign.
New people aren't really welcomed.
When you see people like Birdman, he was never loved at Republic or Universal.
They did business with him.
But he didn't play their game.
so they definitely didn't play his game.
He's not one of the people who they would have said,
okay, all right, how about you have somebody else run cash money
and you go get this job?
Berman would even do it anyway because he's a boss.
That's where there's another part of this story.
Actually, this is the story of the music business
that you should know if you care about music.
That's where we could get into P, Coach K,
because the people who are making a lot of the revenue
for Universal, they're going to matter.
So Drake could talk to the big wig.
P could talk to the big wig.
QC's huge.
Okay.
Let's get back on track.
So your son comes over, and your son has to prove himself.
How does he prove himself?
He starts what he called, at first it was called,
I can't remember what it was called, but he was sued by Tech Nine.
Yeah.
It was called Strange Entertainment.
Strange.
Tech 9
sued him
saying that's too close to
I have a company
that's pretty much the same
and yeah
you are
you're infringing on it
so they've had a lawsuit
they sell the lawsuit
and Elliot Grange
renamed his label
to what was called
10K projects
so 10K projects is born
if you go to 10K projects
and again I'm being very open
and honest here I have a JV with them
I have a deal.
I don't really sign people who are doing that stuff as much anymore.
But you'll notice the people who are signed here.
You're going to see Ice Spice, as I said before.
When it first started, what gave that record label credit
because they had a distribution deal through Capital,
it was an indie label.
The people who made that label were two people.
Trippy Red, and I don't even think they have them listed on here,
just because Universal stopped fucking with him.
Six-nine.
We all know they were signed to the same label.
So Takashi 6-9 and Trippi Red, who back in 2017 were the hottest,
where 6-9 was the hottest and Trippi was going crazy.
They gave the son of Lucian the validity of, oh, maybe it does run in the family,
that ear, that business savvy, that thing to run a record label.
You have two of the biggest artists.
Remember, this is all about the youth at this point.
You got Trippy and 6-9 on the same label.
Later comes internet money.
And remember, internet money was spitting out a whole bunch of people.
Now, a lot of these other people came afterwards.
Cool.
Now, I'm going to tell you why the Ice Spice thing matters.
So the Ice Spice came about two years ago, three years ago, whatever the cases.
And going back to this detail here is that,
Over time, and last year, 10K leaves from doing business with a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
Remember, his father runs Universal Music Group.
The subsidiary is Capital.
The other subsidiary of Capital is Caroline, which then becomes named Island.
He leaves them.
He actually goes, and this is also a very common misconception about the music industry.
labels aren't ops only rappers are ops
niggas fight over
two niggas in the same city that street niggins
Dolphin Gotti
They can't get along
Universal music group
That controls about 40% of the market share
And Warner music group that controls about like 26th 27
They're cool
I think I've told you guys this third before
The reason why a little pump
Went back to Warner after he said it was a free agent
He fucked over Warner
the people at Warner told the other labels
he fucked us over
do not do business with him
he had no other choice he had to go back
they're not ops
they do business together
okay
cool
this is a beautiful story for anybody who likes
the music industry you tell you
you might not understand now
but this is going to be a vaude
so you'd be able to play it later
okay
so now
last year they signed to Warner
music remember my boy Elliot
he still
on the proven ground. I believe that eventually he will be the president that takes over from his
father. But he has to leapfrog a whole lot of people who've been waiting. I'm waiting my turn.
Good luck. So now, the son of Lucian Grains goes to a competitor. Remember not ops. This is not
rappers. He goes to a competitor. Warner Music. And he takes his label that at a time had six, nine,
this and third, but he also is taking Ice Spice. So he takes Ice Spice. So he takes Ice Spice.
from Universal.
Ice Spice is now at Warner.
He does this deal last year.
Hmm, interesting.
By the way, there's a lot more other things we could add to it.
They also mesh with some other groups,
homemade projects.
They also start doing some stuff in the pop world and rock world.
So, like, they're having some success.
It's not all about just rap shit.
It's a label.
But I'm trying to keep it on some shit we could relate to.
So the son of the most powerful guy music
is basically working with the competitor.
But here's what I'm talking about with.
We'll call it nepotism.
I'm not saying it's bad.
He's still on the proven ground.
So what ends up happening?
Now, let me tell you,
let me remind you of a story I've told you before.
Warner Music Group.
Let's Google that and see what's up with that.
Warner Music Group.
Told you about this label a bunch.
When I told you about it,
they always give me calls like,
how do you know?
I don't think I'm in the music industry,
even though every one of these labels got to pay me.
I've I've I've this is how you get paid chat you don't get paid by just running your mouth you get paid by being smart
anyway let's just look at the labels on the Warner music group the list of their labels you're going to see instantly
one that we talk about a lot flagship now let me let me tell you what the word is in the music industry
Elliot cannot take over for his father until he shows that he could run
a flagship label.
Now, while his label was still at
Universal, the thought was
he needed to do this thing to leapfrog
all the other thing is to become, okay,
it's good for you to get the job after your dad.
Because remember, he's a young guy.
Let me see, how old is he?
Elliot Graves.
Bro, he just turned 30.
Like, you know how?
There's this thing that's in this shit like 55.
Like, he's literally been in the music industry for less than 10 years.
You don't get to run this whole, so he's got to, he's on a proven ground, right?
Okay.
So now, this was the conversation.
They said, well, there was, Elliot needs to go get a job at a flagship label.
Let's look at Universal Music Group labels.
Let's look at their flagship labels first.
Their flagship labels, you will see, is capital.
He wasn't going to get the capital thing because he already had a situation there.
But Def Jam has been in shambles.
So there was conversation about who will save Def Jam.
Def Jam hasn't been Def Jam for a long time.
Def Jam currently only cares about the cattle.
Remember, good music is out of there.
There's so much things that's been fractured.
shit I think why kill
Cyrus is on death jam and something like like they
even stop really being involved in like the
newer artists so
it's a flagship label it's been like who's
gonna save death jam
that's when his name first start coming up
well he might be the guy
he could that's a proven ground
job if he could save death jam
shit if it comes to the time
and he needs to take the main job
well you save death jam
whoever saves death jam is going to get
which by the way who's the president of death jam right now
Who's the president?
Who's the president?
Let me look up
the current president.
President of Death Jam.
Yeah, they gave it a Tunji.
Okay?
Tunji has a very good reputation.
Let me see, what's his background again?
By the way, they gave it to a black guy.
I'm rooting for him, too.
Routing for him.
But Tunji, that's his undertaking to,
complete. Could he save Def Jam? If he does this, he's going to be set. Anyway, so they announced
this back in 2021. So it wasn't going to save Def Jam. So now the next thing became,
let's go back to Warner, Atlantic. What have I told you about Atlantic? They dropped meek.
They declined to offer the right amount to keep NBA young boy, to keep Kodat Black. They're getting
rid of all their talent. Why did that
happen? I told you the whole situation.
Warner Music Group
went public. If you look
on the stock market, when
did Warner Music Group
go public? We could Google
everything I'm saying.
In 2020.
Anything after 2020, that's
when they went cold on all these artists.
That's when Meek dropped that last album and they were like,
yo, we're done with this nigga. I think it was
like wins and losses or some dumb shit like that.
But they were done with all these artists.
When they went public, they started looking at balance sheets.
They didn't want to invest as much.
They wanted to just capitalize.
So Warner and subsequently Atlantic, because when we see Warner, we don't really know about the other Warner labels.
We know about Atlantic because there's a lot of hip-hop artists.
We started looking at Atlantic, get rid of everybody.
Everybody's going.
They're allowing people to take their artists.
Okay.
Now, from what I heard is that that needed to happen for about three-quarter.
No, not three quarters, about three years.
About like, actually, from what I heard, it was like between five to, I can't remember
how many successive quarters, but it was like a couple of years in a row.
They said if Atlantic was turning a profit, I don't know if it was yearly or quarterly
for investors.
This was part of their like deal when they were when public they gave to the executives.
They promised the executives, I heard up to like damn near $100 million in bonus.
So that's why you've seen your favorite rappers lead because they're like, we got your catalog.
We're not going to keep investing.
We're just trying to stay profitable.
So no more investments.
Let's just make money off what we got.
Why?
The executives were going to get their pockets lined by the company, the overall company going
in public by them keep bringing a profit in.
Get what I'm saying?
So about business.
Not about rapping.
Bet.
So Atlantic went to trash.
Okay.
So where are we now?
Last year, Elliot goes there because clearly he must have known, all right, they're about to start spending again.
So they go there.
By the way, also Warner, Warner 300 Entertainment, they also buy 300 entertainment.
Okay?
They purchased 300 entertainment.
That becomes interested.
Let me see
QC
I know QC got sold to
But I don't think we don't know
Anyway
Now
I guess I'm saying this
And I made a long story long
Because it is a long story
It's no way to shorten it
You're gonna see Atlanta come back
But you're gonna see come back
With my boy, Elliot Grange
Who just
Who just got promoted
Hold on
What the fuck
Why's the option is only to remove?
Oh, my bad.
Who just became, here we go.
Warner Music has some new changes.
Effective October 1st, Elliot Grange will become CEO of Atlantic.
Reporting to, um, Grange, what?
Reports of so-and-so.
Grange is son of Universal Music CEO Lucian Grange, blah, blah, blah, da-da-da.
Cool.
Now, listen.
I like to let artists know this because when y'all get a little hot
and then y'all get some niggum who's trying to make some money off of y'all,
so he's taking you by label by label.
I like to tell you which places are trash and which places got the cash
and which place are trying to spend the bag.
Atlantic was trash.
But they're now coming, all executives from the past,
got their bonuses, their pockets aligned,
they're ready to leave, move on to other vendors,
get their yachts and their private islands.
They're good now.
Now they're going to get back to invest in the music.
So now we get Elliot Grains going over there.
He's going to do a fuck ton of a job over there to, you know, put the work in.
Because remember, he's still in the proven ground.
And he's essentially, remember I told you, Atlantic has been trashed.
He's going to save Atlantic.
Good timing.
You know why?
Atlantic wasn't, it wasn't that niggas was just incompetent.
They weren't spending.
He's there.
the spending is back up.
He's there because the spending's going to be back up.
So you're going to see that happen.
Now, let me bring this back to Ice Spice.
Here we do.
Elliot Grains, even though 10K projects is his baby.
That's his baby.
Atlantic is going to be the boat and the arc that takes him to the promised land,
which is his father's position.
So it's kind of like when Liger Cohen,
except he didn't do it in the music industry.
He left his baby.
300 entertainment.
Where did he go?
To run YouTube.
Big boy plays.
So what usually happens at that time,
sometimes the artist on said label,
and this is what I also think,
10K projects,
I'm interested to see what happens to Trippy.
Sixth and already been kind of halfway kicked out the car.
I want to see what happens with Ice Spice
Because now
The guy who
That was his baby
Has bigger things to manage
He has to go manage
The Atlantic's roster
And who's on Atlantic Records roster right now
He has to go try to clean this bitch up
A boogie, do we keep him or do we get rid of him
That's gonna be a question they gotta figure out
I don't know half of these other motherfuckers
But let's just keep it to the hip hop ones
Okay, big walk dogs over there
Is he really bringing in money?
You see, um,
busy banks.
I want to get to the big artist.
Burn a boy.
Ooh, that's good.
Burner boy, that's good.
Cardi B.
Now, this is me, you know,
I know Cardi got mad at Joe for whatever.
This is me just knowing business.
I'm a business man.
Hey, we're going to spend more.
We're going to spend again,
even though I don't think spending
never stop with Cardi B.
Cardi B is just one of those artists.
You've never stopped spending with her.
You stop spending with me.
Mika ain't as valuable
Cardi B, never was.
Like, well, actually, maybe at a point
like pre, like, maybe 2018 or something, right?
They're probably going to be like, all, Cardi.
We're going to have to spend, but we're going to have to get some return.
So get through this baby thing,
and we'll talk about Cardi in a minute
because she just announced a divorce,
but she's having another kid.
They're going to want an album.
Come on, we got to get this album, Cardi.
We've been spending a lot.
We need to get some money out of this junk.
Come on, just get it popping.
Okay?
I don't know who Charlie is and Charlie Puth.
He's not somebody who's kind of good.
All right, let's see, CK on this.
We're just going through the artist they got.
Corday.
Shit, they're going to have some interesting conversation about it with Corday, too.
It's a new regime over there now.
Don Tolliver.
Okay, they got some assets.
Don Tolliver is a good, solid one.
They got finesse two times.
Okay.
Isn't Fujiano in jail?
I don't know.
Okay.
Gucci, man, is, like, interesting because he got, like, eight different deals, man.
I thought Gucci always had something
wherever Tom Moskowitz was
But didn't Tom Mosquist
Tom Oscois had Alamo
Who bought Alamo?
Alamo Records
Who did it get so?
They went to Sony?
Sold.
Oh, it sold to Sony.
Oh, shit.
Okay.
All right, anyway.
So here's the point I guess I'm trying to say.
Ice Spice benefited from being on a small label
that's hyper-focused on your success
and probably unique strategies to keep you afloat
because you were one of the people
who were popular in urban music
that was making that label look good.
But now your CEO has to overtake a bigger situation.
Got to look at the Kevin Gates.
Like this is now Atlantic.
He's at Atlantic.
So again, I'm not saying this is going to happen,
but who knows how that's going to play out
with the people at 10K?
Also, think about Trippy.
How much did Trippy sell last time?
Trippy Red sells.
I think he sold, was it, 32K?
I don't know how much he sold the last one.
I love letter to you four?
No, what did you drop?
I don't know.
Oh, I love letter to you five sold 11th.
What the fuck?
Oh, shit.
See?
So Trippy, not shit on what you neither, by the way.
That's my guy.
He said, Trippy.
He debuted with 11,000.
Here's what I'm saying.
It only becomes muddier waters for everybody on 10K.
Because when you have your upper echelon now having to focus on much bigger pool of artists.
And the win isn't just you succeeded.
The win could be shit.
I, you know, Kevin Gates going to run.
Let's get, let's make sure.
Kevin Gates is straight.
All right.
Let's see.
Don Tolliver or, you know what I mean?
Oh, Poo Shacksey comes back or shit.
Who knows?
Like, I'm interested in see what they're going to do with Roddy Rich.
Right?
These are all very complicated things.
You got Todd Dollar Sign on here.
That's going to be of importance.
And I think that's going to matter with Ice Spice.
Because essentially your label head has gone on to manage
Atlantic.
And it's easy to dominate
when you're the big fish
in a pool of, you know,
smaller fish.
But now when you have
equally big fish
or maybe bigger fish in the pond
that you're in,
you might not get that special treatment
or that special care
that you need to succeed.
So I'll see how both of them do.
But when I've seen
trippy sell 11K
and now I've seen that
Ice Spice sold 20K,
unfortunately this is the music business
the execs might have used y'all to prove a point at the time
but damn crossed that bridge they're now at atlantic all right
so we'll see we'll see we'll see uh okay
i hope y'all understood that that that whole little spiel light went on
okay let's get on to big sean man jesus how long we've been streaming for
3 hours and 25 minutes oh it's so good let's get on to big sean
So Big Sean did an interview with Charlamagne de God
And in the interview that he did
He essentially
Talked about a few things
And a few things he talked about
Let's see if we could pull some of it up
First and foremost
Where should I start?
All right
Let's start with the Kendrick stuff first
And you bought up Kendrick
It made me think of a line
Kendrick had in a record that got leaked
By the way, I'm also going to grab some Red Bull, right?
You're finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme, boy.
When you heard that bar, did you get any rhymes prepared?
Did it have the same reaction that you had when Lena said that to?
All right, so yeah.
So those are two questions.
When I first heard that, I definitely had a whole thing prepared.
So let's back this up.
So I did a song called No More Interviews.
where I'm rapping about people rapping fast and blah, blah, blah,
and people like, oh, you're talking about Kendrick.
I'm like, well, I'm not talking about anyone specifically.
I'm just talking my shit.
At the time, there was a lot of motherfuckers rap.
I'm surprised no one thought M&M or I remember Logic was hot at the MG,
you know, all these other rappers that rap fast.
And I'm like, this thing of Kendrick don't even rap fast all the time.
Like, it's other people who'd be rapping fast all the time.
But I definitely was like not running from or ducking no type smoke at all.
Like, so when I heard,
that there might be
some remnants of something.
I did have something prepared. I'm not going to lie.
And then I ran into
day free in the elevator at W&E.
And I'm like, yo, was that?
I forgot what...
Was it the control of us?
No, no, no. This was way after. So, by the way,
Kendrick has been in my house.
Me and him are cool, by the way.
He's invited me to his mom's house before.
This was like my old house.
We were cooler back then.
Let me say that, because I'm not going
sit here and be like, we cool. I don't talk to him. But I remember, I'm just breaking down
the timeline. I remember when in I dropped, I decided and bounced back and all this stuff
and he dropped, he was dropping his album, damn. And I can't remember what freestyle, I guess it
was the hard part for, five maybe, something like that. And people were like, oh, he's talking
about Big Sean in there, right? So I ran it, I ran in it, I hit up top dog.
first. I'm like, yo, who he's talking about?
He's just talking to me. He's just throwing a bone out there, right?
Why are you just going to ask Kendrick?
Like, why not I take Kendrick's deal? Was you talking about me in this?
Because I didn't think I had his right number. I think I did hit him first.
And I'm like, I'm like, I don't have it. I got top number because he had just had me come out of his charity event like a year ago or something.
And Watts, you know what I'm saying? So I'm thinking we like straight. You know what I'm saying?
So then, no, no, no. I wasn't about you.
It wasn't about you.
All right, cool.
So the little shit I had, I just was like, let me get out of my head because I'm thinking
like it might be something.
So you had a song or verse?
I had just some ideas.
You know what I'm saying?
Just to be real with you.
Like I have some ideas, you know, mapped out.
So then Nipsey dies.
Joe Budden had created this like, before that Joe Budden had made this like, there's a Kendrick
Big Sean beefing to the point where I tried to ignore it, but he made that name.
narrative so fucking real that I think it really did become a thing.
So, like, punch.
He wasn't all the way wrong, though.
You said there might have been something in the air.
Well, yeah, because I'm getting into the point with me and Kendrick talking.
Okay.
Okay.
Let me give a, I guess I'll give a little intro thoughts about this.
When I watch this whole thing, and I know I'm saying what I thought before you
hear the whole video, I thought of Drake.
I said, this is exactly how Drake felt when he heard control.
Drake said the same thing.
Y'all was hitting people in the background.
I was like, yo, is this real?
This is where Kendrick is good at.
Kendrick clearly is telling y'all, like he says it,
I'm a selfish nigga.
The crown is heavy.
He don't want to share nothing with y'all.
He don't even want to acknowledge y'all.
The nigga don't even want to,
he don't want nothing where he got to be in cahoots with y'all.
He don't think it's a big three, a big nothing.
However, he's always checking your temperature,
and then he kind of lowers y'all guard by saying,
nah, it ain't shit.
It's smart for a couple of reasons.
By the way, I think Kendrick won't smoke with all these things.
We're not going to smoke, but he knows how to bait them out.
And if you see how Kendrick bates people out,
he bates you out where you always look like you came for him.
Like you're coming for him.
He's chilling.
You're coming for him.
and that's a very smart shrewd motherfucker
Big Sean you are too smart
and I hope you're playing a game by saying all the bullshit
you said in this interview
because ain't no way you believe that
Kendrick wasn't intentional
with everything he said or believe that
you know there's going to be a point where he says
oh Kendrick apologize
think are you serious
now I didn't get there too
but what I also took away from this clip
you're going to hear him say
so when Kendrick was
explaining to him on a leaked verse of why that happened.
He said, Kendrick said his ego, which is the first time I've ever heard the idea of
Kendrick's ego.
Now, I know he's wrapped about his ego.
I know he's wrapped about some of what you might call personality flaws or whatever.
But this told me a lot about how Kendrick sees his peers, sees competition, and how Kendrick
is playing 3D chess.
So I get to the point where I'm like, damn, do we got something going on?
That's why I have something.
This is also why I'm disappointed in Sean.
Sean, if you don't get at this point, you're sounding like Drake.
Niggins, Drake, for years, Drake was like, wait, do we guys?
The nigga is fucking with y'all.
I don't think Kendrick's going back and forth.
like how y'all are going back and forth saying that and that tells me a lot
if i don't think he going back and forth like i think y'all going back and forth
that almost make it seem like he want to smoke more than y'all
because y'all are you're mentally trying to be like nah this ain't
or y'all what's lacking in what big shan explained
bichon you left on a charlemagne de godd interview to show text messages to clear it up
if a nigger really apologize he would clear it up
he would say I'm sorry I tripped out
we ain't never seen
and by the way y'all know
but it's not like I'm not a big
Kendrick fan like obviously drinks my guy but
here's the we ain't never seen
Kendrick backpedal
in public he might
rock he's rocking y'all to sleep
when he texts y'all that
if I dis a nigger
and I
or a nigger disses me and I hit him
And I said, bro, yo, I thought you were talking about.
You dissing me, nigga?
Now I ain't dissing you.
But I'm the one that got to come out and say, oh, he ain't dissing me.
You don't see how he's rocking you to sleep?
You don't see that.
He could come out and say that publicly.
Instead, you're on an interview who have to show people the text.
Why, he ain't say that.
He don't respect you.
He don't respect you like that, my nigga.
That's the thing.
Lack of mutual respect ain't no respect.
And then prepare, right?
And then when I run in a day free,
and he's like, no, bro, it ain't nothing.
Like, it's all love.
He said something like that wasn't directly towards you.
It was for anyone, you know?
Okay.
Yo, it's bothering me so much that big Sean seems so confused.
Because I think he's smart.
You know, I think Sean did this interview to, like,
you're going to hear him to say the end.
Y, y'all was never ducking nothing.
Like, one of those to be like, yo, just for y'all to know,
I'm not pussy like and I don't back down.
Okay, you might not be pussy and you might not back down,
but you ain't a nigga looking for it neither.
You like still waters.
I don't think Kendrick likes still waters.
That's important.
You like still waters.
Kendrick looked like he likes rough waters.
He like when there's a lot of waves going on,
a lot of turbulence.
I think that's a difference between.
him and him and y'all i'm gonna be honest with you because y'all are looking for reasons to say oh no
it's all good even though he keep giving you reasons to say it's not and by the way it's a it's a clever
bait by kendrick because if you if your mind ever gets to the part where drink mind got to be like
oh now this thing i've been really trying to do it for a while then the onus is on you to jump out
even though it looks like kendrick was starting this all along so kendrick starts it plays with
your mind and you're like what the fuck are you into it and then if you ever think that y'all into it
and you kind of start throwing shots back people gonna look at you like i well if you feel a wait
nigga this kendrick then you you got a fire first at kendrick and he gets to look like the saint
that's responded that boy playing a whole different game kendrick you a cold motherfucker man
so then nipsey dies and i sit on a plane next to punch random as hell we're headed to
Jay Cole's festival and
he's like you ever talk to Kendrick
and I'm like no I never
I know it ain't shit there
but no we never really spoke
then in that around that time
like that day or maybe the day before that
that told me already
it was smoke they just didn't want
to be the bearer of bad news
have you talked to that
nah
okay okay
that's one thing I do like about
Td.
Or let me just say
I like about
Kendrick and how he moves.
You just don't know
what the,
like,
they don't give you
a clue.
They're not,
they don't give you
a clue about shit.
It feels like
they're always just
trying to be like,
okay.
Whole time that nigga
is sitting next to you
on the plane,
he probably got in his phone.
It's probably
burning a hole in his hand.
He probably got another
dissoff for you
on his phone.
He ain't going to tell you
nothing.
He is going to be like,
you talk to that?
I ain't talked to that yet
Okay
That's it
Come on
Or the week
Or day
Within that same time period
That leaked
Shit happened
It was a leaked verse
And it said
What you said
Yep
I'm like damn
Nicky y'all motherfuck
Said it wasn't shit
And it was something
So you got me looking crazy
But maybe he prepared something
Just like
The same way you were thinking
He was like
You know let me get my nukes
Just in case too
Right
But the thing is that song came out
And he changed that bar
Right
So there wasn't on the song anymore.
It was a leaked verse.
So I had to keep that of mine because I was pissed when I heard it.
So then I'm like, okay, he changed that on his own.
So he probably came to the conclusion that it was nothing.
So then I speak, then me and him talk.
And I got the text in my phone.
And he's like, I might pull the text out in and read it.
Why not?
I ain't even got my, somebody else got my phone.
Somebody grabbed Sean's phone.
Essentially.
You don't need to misquote him.
Yeah, I ain't trying to misquote shit.
Because I don't give a fuck that much to misquoted, nigga.
And how long ago was this?
You said right after nip-a-old.
Okay.
So, I mean, you can read my stuff, too.
You want me to read it?
No, no, no.
I don't think we should read it because I think that's kind of like bitch-made,
but I want you to kind of like see the sentiment of it.
So this is me and then this is him.
What up, Champ?
You know, yes, we're in great grievance.
That's wrongly.
So in a sense, I don't want to say.
saying he apologized in a sense for going that far you know i ain't gonna lie
Sean one thing i know man that niggick he a classic LA nigga he will snake you
you saying he apologized nigga he bought to drop so many bombs on your headtop
nigga this time listen we gave you three times to act like you stupid but this next time
when kentrick bombing all you you better you better just either handle business or just
apologize like motherfucking uh i'm j cole
You know you saying he apologized,
Kendrick's coming for your head.
I ain't allowed you.
I'm looking at Kendrick like a bully.
Like, he's kind of like bullying niggas, bro.
You know, like, you know you read that text message.
That nigga is going to be on your head.
And you better come with bars or you better have a nice form of apology.
I don't know if they got a big Sean Fest, a Detroit Fest.
You better have a teleprompter to read that three.
How long did they call apologized for?
That nigga was apologized for six minutes.
You better apologize.
for 16.
That's the sentiment of it.
Now, I know some people are saying,
yo, act.
Nah, bro.
You're not being fair.
Like, you're not being fair.
Like, that sucker shit, um,
Kendrick is doing.
Because he's apologizing behind the scenes,
or he's de-escalating behind the scenes,
but he's act like he won't smoke in front of the camera.
My nigga, they're not friends.
These rappers, I ain't going to lie to you.
Kendrick basically,
you remember when basketball used to be like,
you know,
none of the players hung out,
and then you realize that Dremont and motherfucking,
like, LeBron and, like, best friends.
Like, it kind of killed it, like, all the basketball players,
like, let's go get lunch, let's go on vacation.
Like, everybody's friends.
It's always that one nigga who just fuck up all the friendships.
That's, that's big shit.
No, that's Kendrick.
Kendrick don't like none of y'all.
He don't like none of y'all.
He don't like y'all.
He don't like y'all.
He literally laughing at child, so my, my,
I kiss and hugging on stage.
He don't like the shit.
Y'all got to stop.
Yo, y'all got to punch him in his mouth lyrically.
Stop with this explaining.
Punch him in his mouth or ignore the nigger.
But you saying, oh, well, yo, he's said, yo,
I don't think Kendrick is a confrontational nigger in messages.
And that's what I think these rappers got to realize.
Because sometimes rapper try to mix, like, reality with bars.
I think Kendrick is a bully in music and is confrontational in music.
I don't think if you hit him on the phone
He's going back, nigga, I don't think if Drake called him like,
Nick, I think he wants to lame, always a lame, nigga.
Certified love boy, son.
I don't think that's him.
I think he would probably downplay.
You could tell by his demeanor, bro, we just rap in.
Like, that's his demeanor.
But that's not what is happening in music.
And music is coming off to the fans.
Like he's giving y'all wedgies.
Like he's just like, yo, Cole, come here.
Your turn.
Yo, Drake.
Yo, open that locker.
Stuff him in there.
Yo, Big Sean, you're getting a swalee today, nigga.
That's how it's looking at music.
Y'all, yo, no explaining with Kendrick no more.
Y'all niggas got to either hop off the porch.
This is why I like when Offset was just chilling the crowd,
and he just did a falcon punch.
Fuck that.
It's the only way to handle a nigga like Kendrick, bro.
Look, it's the only way to handle a nigga like Kendrick, dog.
Oh, here you.
Right.
Yeah.
This is how you gotta handle Kendrick.
Yeah.
That thing was trying to get momentum.
I think was trying to get momentum.
That's how you gotta handle Kendrick.
What's that movie called?
Menace to society.
Like, yo, that's your cousin?
Is that something like,
I don't like how you're handling my sister, partner?
This is the only way out of handle Kent.
Yo, I'm telling you all the facts.
Yeah, give up the car right now.
No, no, that's not it.
Oh, homie, what is this fool, man?
Who wanna know?
Nah, it's the only way to handle Tendrick, I swear!
You all right.
Oh, cool, hear that way out then.
Hey, which one of y'all's cane?
Who is this fool, man?
Who want to know?
A friend, homie.
Oh, homie, hey, I don't think you know me.
Hey, well, check this out. I'm Alina's cousin, partner.
She don't like the way you been dogging her and I don't either.
What?
What?
What?
We're supposed to fight about bitch?
I think you need to watch you calling the bitch, partner.
Yeah, and I think you better watch...
This is how you handle Kendrick!
Yeah, and I think you better watch you the fucking...
Yes!
Got to snuff that, nigga, bro!
Yo, I'm gonna be honest with you.
Yo, Sean.
Like, Shawman was giving you the facts, too,
but he was trying to be grown up with you.
I'm gonna just be on some fan shit with you, gang.
Sean,
he doesn't have a one...
Yo, he had one nigga apologize at his own concert and ride bicycles, niggil.
We all thinking y'all shook on the niggil, nigga.
They called him the boogeyman and he's taking the name on.
Brah, trust me, I know some people trying to get the narrative.
Oh, well, he apologized to Sean.
Bro, Sean, nobody think they're scared of you.
The fuck?
Nigel, we thinking, even if he apologized to you, we thinking he's sparing you.
And this is the thing about Sean.
Yo, Sean, you know you could be in that conversation,
but you're not willing to punch a nigga in the mouth.
You got a punch a nigga in the mouth.
That's just how it goes.
The thing is, it's not only drop.
Yo, you're going to hear some pathetic shit from Sean in here.
Sean going to be like, oh, they ask me,
maybe I was some sense when that happened.
They asked me who was no more interviews for.
And he said, oh, I was just rapping.
Bro!
What you mean?
You're just rapping.
You see, y'all niggis not standing on it.
Listen, and what I mean?
Stand on it publicly.
You know what you should have said, Sean?
Let me read your lyrics for no more interviews.
People thought you were dissing.
No more interviews.
No more interviews.
Lyrics.
This is where they thought you were dissing Kendrick, right?
When it says, it says, hold on.
Hold on.
It was like rapping fast or something
Okay
He says I'm not impressed by the whoopty-whoop
I don't know who is who
And I can't pretend like I'm hip to it
No hula hoop
And I can't lie that
Like I like this shit like I usually do
I'm just not impressed by you niggies rapping fast
Who sound like one big asthma attack
But trash when I'm rapping it back
Who y'all put the see
See this is why I don't like about Sean
You said who y'all put your top five
This is yo Sean
Brough I'm gonna be honest with you bro
Like, this is disappointing.
This is why you can't be in the top of it.
And I think you got a skill for it.
So, here we go.
I did a song called No More Interview.
Here we go.
Where I'm rapping about people rapping fast and blah, blah, blah.
And people like, oh, you're talking about Kendrick.
I'm like, well, I'm not talking about anyone specifically.
I'm just talking my shit.
Bro, this is where if Charlemagne knew the lyrics,
I knew who to call them on it.
Bro, you literally said, I'm not impressed by you.
Niggins rapping fast who sound like one big asthma attack when I'm rapping it back
and sound trash about when I'm rapping about
who y'all put y'all top five.
You're going to hear a big show and name
a bunch of niggies who ain't in the top five
except M&M.
So you're either dissing,
Kendrick or Eminem.
Every other niggies mentioned is not top five.
Listen.
At the time, there was a lot of motherfuckers rap.
I'm surprised no one thought Eminem or...
Okay, so you're either...
You're not going to disson M
because you're from Detroit.
You're not dissent M.
So if you're not dissing M, you're dissing Kedrick.
Watch, he's going to name a whole bunch of other niggins that's not top five.
And that's what I'm saying.
Bro, it looked like y'all scared of Kendrick, bro.
Bro, he can't be that good.
I remember Logic was hot at the end.
Bro, nigger, Logic not top five in his own family.
Fuck is you talking about.
They got five actual niggins.
That's blacker than logic.
That's one, two, three, four, five before Logic,
Mulado looking white ass.
I shouldn't be joining him on the logic hatred.
Logic, I love you.
I ain't a lot of you.
That was fucked up.
I'm bad.
I know black he speaks fucking.
I'm listening to rant
I'm sorry
Logic I like you
But you're not top five
You're not top five
Okay
You know
All these other
MGK's not top five
Nigel
The rappers that rap fast
And I'm like
This thing of Kendrick
Don't even rap fast
All the time
Oh now
Kendrick don't
Oh my God
This is back
Bro
Michael Jackson
Ever did the moonwalk
Better than this
Like what are we doing
Bro
This is what
Yo
If Short had just said
bro, nigga, I said what I said, yo,
the meaning is in the lyrics, bro.
Or you could have been extra gang since that stood
for all of them, period.
It stood for all of them, all of them.
But being like, I don't know,
I don't know why they said it was Kendrick,
why they didn't say it was them.
What about logic?
What about MG?
What do you mean?
What about them?
What about them?
You can't back, bro.
You literally said in the next line
who y'all put in your top five.
Logic not in my top five.
Mix people.
Have we ever said that MGK is a savior of rap?
Like, this is the problem.
They've never even said Eminem is the savior of rap, my nigga.
We all know is Kendrick, bro, like, yo, I can't believe that that Sean is still like
not trying to, bro, Sean, it's cool.
You don't want to be top five status or top three or you don't want to compete with
Kendrick.
Bro, you are a nice rapper, continue your career, but just, duh.
I'd rather that nigga say, bro, you see what he did to that nigga, um, Jay Co?
look how you got people talking about Drake
I don't want to smoke with that nigga
but anybody else I'm good for
I'd rather you say that
but you back pet, bro, listen
I read lyrics
and I'm assuming you wrote your shit
nigga you literally said
the nigga who rap fast
who's in your top five
and claim they to save you of rap
whatever man
I love you big show
but this type of backpedaling
bro is like it's a reason why
I see why yo
I ain't going to lie
I haven't going to lie
And I give my nigga Drake credit
Because at least my nigga Drake
Pulled up with the squabbles
You feel me
But remember when I said
What top five you smoking on
I see why that nigga thought he was smoking
On the top five
He got all y'all y'all niggas
Talked checking y'all
Y'all y'nick is scared to even
admit y'all dissing him
Y'all niggas is like
One niggas apologizing
And riding a bicycle away from the concert
The next nigga rapped about him and said
What about these other rappers?
Maybe I'm talking about...
Y'all scared this thing of that much?
Is he really the boogeyman?
Then in that, around that time, like that day,
or maybe the day before that or the week...
or day within that same time period,
that leaked shit happened.
It was a leaked verse.
And it said what you said.
Yep.
I'm like, damn, niggie, y'all motherfuckuck said it wasn't shit
and it was something.
So you got me looking crazy.
But maybe he prepared something just like...
The same way you were thinking.
He was like, you know,
let me get my nukes just in case too.
Right, but the thing is that song came out and he changed that bar, right?
So there wasn't on the song anymore.
It was a leaked verse.
So I had to keep that in mind because I was pissed when I heard it.
So then I'm like, okay.
Yo, Sean, you see, that's the thing about Sean, man.
Like, Sean, I'm going to always say it has all of the attributes.
Yo, name a, I like use NBA terms.
Who's an NBA player that got the necessary skill set to be a top five player,
but he's just not a top five player?
Like, it's just like
He don't want it that bad
He don't, he don't got that killer instinct
He don't put it together
Like that Sean
Chalka rap with anybody in the fucking world
Yo Sean, fuck if he put
That verse out of not, nigga
Who do you think leaked the verse?
He leaked the verse to let
Niggas know he was shitting all you
Who you think leaked did?
Yo, Sean, what's wrong with you?
Did to let niggins know
the vibes with you, bro?
And you looked at it and say, well, at least he didn't put it out officially, so I don't really think he got smoke with me.
The nigga not communicating with you.
He ain't hit you to clarify that.
Don't tell me big short as the Paul George of the rap game.
Bro, come on.
So they wasn't on the song anymore.
It was a leaked verse.
So I had to keep that of mind because I was pissed when I heard it.
So then I'm like, okay, he changed that on his own.
So he probably came to the conclusion that it was nothing.
So then I speak.
Then me and him talk.
And I got the text in my phone
And he's like
I might pull the text out
And read it
Why not?
I ain't even got my
Somebody else got my phone
Somebody grabbed Sean's phone
I'll look
Your Charlemagne is such a
Yo Charlemagne
I'm gonna give you some credit
My nigga
You going back to your old self
I, yo I love Charlemagne
I think Charlomain was trying to go
Super Politics and mental health
You know what I mean
It was coming at him
A lot bullshit
But I think Charleman realized
Man ain't you the
What did you call you?
yourself the master of agitate whatever bro that's what we like my nigga you i'm you could grow
within that because i ain't gonna lie one of the big thing about charlemagne he's he's a lot about
growth but bro we don't want you to grow into something that is unfamiliar we want to like he back on
his instigating shit yo grab his phone yeah he'll be like we don't want to miss quote him
perfect hype this nigga up yo charlemagne when kendrick tier
his head off pause,
they gotta blame it all you.
You the one told him I grabbed the phone,
read it out loud.
Yo, Kendrick, you might go ridiculously crazy
on this, nigga.
So I had to keep that in mind
because I was pissed when I heard it.
So then I'm like, okay, he changed
that on his own.
So he probably came to the conclusion
that it was nothing.
So then I speak, then me and him talk.
And I got the text in my phone.
And he's like,
I might pull the text out of it and read it.
Why not?
Why not?
I didn't even got my, somebody else got my phone.
Somebody grabbed Sean's phone.
Essentially, no need to misquote him.
Yeah, I ain't.
That's that Charlamade right there.
No need to misquote him.
Wait for your phone.
Just read the whole message out that we could expose that.
Yo.
Trying to miss quote shit.
Because I don't give a fuck that much of misquoting, nigga.
And how long ago was this?
You said right after the nip.
What was Elite this song?
I'll play it.
I hope hopefully you do don't clap, but what is it?
Yo, don't call Big Sean Tobias Harris.
We'll call him Paul George.
Paul George, like, yeah, Paul George is supposed to be one of them.
You feel me?
So, yeah, yeah, he's one of them.
Like, y'all niggins said Ben Simmons, with all the respect to Ben Simmons,
nah, Paul George is, I mean, Big Sean is not Ben Simmons.
He's not Tobias Harris.
Okay.
So, I mean, you can read my stuff, too.
You want me to read it?
No, no, no.
I don't think we should read it because I think that's kind of like bitch-made,
but I want you.
Yo, Sean, you know Kendrick's telling him on spirit, right?
You know, right now he's cooking up a goddamn,
he's cooking up a goddamn cipher for you right now
that is going to put you to shame.
And I guarantee, nigga, he's going to hit you with the wrecks, nigga.
He's going to be like, yo, he's going to be like,
your little niggins name Sean thinking they big.
Like, and you're going to hear that and be like,
he ain't talking about me.
He ain't told me.
Ain't told me.
He ain't told my me.
That's the thing with Big Sean.
No matter what Kendrick say, he's going to be like,
hey, about me.
Little niggis, little niggis name Sean thinking they big in the game.
I got to put them niggins back in their lane.
Yo, that's how, that's how Kendra going to come with it.
Little niggins name Sean thinking they big in the game.
I got to put them back in their lane.
You know, Sean won't be like, I, that ain't by me.
Little niggum, like, I got a big dick.
I ain't, damn.
That one by me.
Yo, he got a, he got to, he got a, I ain't about me.
He would have to say my name.
Matter of fact, what, he, matter of fact, if he,
say about government if he ain't saved the guffy if he ain't said the guffy that what's a big show on government
yo yo you know you're a big show let me like yeah yo if he ain't say show of michael
Leonard Anderson that that yeah he ain't talking about me what we talk like like yo
Detroit niggas we don't duck beef but like you got to bring the beef to us like where the beef
beef beef where I see the beef I don't see the beef I don't see the beef I don't see the beef I don't see the beef.
I don't sit up.
Okay, Sean.
You got it, bro.
You got it, bro.
You said right out the nip.
Yeah.
Okay.
So I mean.
Right?
Like, yo.
But I like, yo, he said, Sean?
He could have been talking on top of Sean.
He could have been talking about, uh, uh, I, uh, I could be talking about Sean, John,
maybe it was Sean John.
It wasn't this Sean.
Did he say big Sean or Sean John?
Nah, nigga.
Talking to you.
Yo.
Yo, I'm at the point.
Even if I say Drake can't win.
I'm rooting for any nigger that can fuck Kendrick up.
I'm tired of this shit.
He got rappers sounded like hos.
Niggins apologizing, scrolling through their text messages, unsending.
What is this nigga doing?
Y'all got the same 24 hours in the day.
Why can't just squabble with this little midget?
The fuck.
So, you want me to read it?
No, no.
Taddle this shit.
We should read it because I think that's kind of like bitch, ma'am.
but I want you to kind of like see the sentiment of it.
Lupa!
We need you.
We might have to need Lupa fiasco or something.
Why the hell?
Do we got nobody?
Yo, they got this nigger looking like Terrence Crawford.
They got this nigger looking like,
they got him looking.
I haven't going to lie.
He don't even move like Floyd.
He moved like he on some other shit.
Nigger Kendrick can't be like that.
Like, yo.
I would love.
love to hear Jay Z's a pain on this.
Well, actually, Jay Z lost a battle, so never mind.
I got to hear Nas as a pain.
But obviously, it wouldn't be on camera,
because Nause would never sit on camera like that.
I would love to ask Nause in private,
back in your day for a nigga like Kendrick
was playing them a little slick lyrical games.
What would you have done to that, nigga?
I'm pretty sure Kendrick,
I'm pretty sure Nause would have said,
and I would have ethered that fuck, nigga, man.
These other niggins, they're finding,
Hey, my Apple Watch just told me my Zodiac sign and says,
today is no beef day.
No beef day, no weapons formed against you, she'll probably.
Like, these things are coming up with excuses.
What?
Is this hip-hop?
This is why I sound care.
What did I say about Drake?
Nigger, at least Drake was like, enough is enough, nigga.
Let's fight.
Let's fight.
I'm down to fight.
Jay Corr was on streamies watching the shit like,
I can't watch.
Oh, my God, my two faves are fighting.
Oh, my God.
I'm sorry Aubrey.
I'm sorry, Kenny.
Oh my God.
Like, what the fuck?
It's me.
And then this is him.
What up, Jam?
You know, he has sworn great grievance.
That's real.
So, in a sense, I don't want to say it.
He apologized, in a sense, for going that far.
Yo, Sean, let me give you the facts, my brother.
You one and one with Kendrick.
But really, you lost, you lost.
You went one and four.
I'm going to tell you why.
You cop in too many pleas.
So you lost.
You lost.
You lost.
Like, you might as well apologize.
lost. You were one and one with him. Control, he barely got you. Holy key, you flamed him. The
heart part four, actually you weren't one-on-one, heart part four. I ain't gonna lie, he sizzled you up.
But I ain't gonna lie. No more interviews, you lit back at him. And I was like, yes, Sean, yes, yes.
But Sean, I'm gonna tell you why. Sean, I know I've said this before. You know why, Drake,
my fair rapper?
Because he's not a
Coah Leonard ass nigga.
I'd rather
my nigga hop in the ring and
squamble it out.
And I'm looking at all y'all and it's all y'all like,
yo, what beef? Where do the beef
point me to the beef?
Point me? Y'all have like
a, y'all have one of them, Stevie Wonder
like sticks like, point me
beef, beef, beef, where?
Where?
Is the beef that way? No, nigga, the beef here.
Okay, let me taste the beef.
Please, pause, pause.
All right, anyway.
You know, for that shit coming out, right?
So I wanted to show you that because in a sense he apologized, right?
Yeah, yeah.
So if Kendrick apologized for that literal, that same leak that I heard prematurely, right, that he didn't use.
It's like, then it leaks fully later, right?
And people hear it, and we already discussed it.
And he said, appreciate the shout out.
Yo, Sean, there's no honor in this hip-hop shit.
The nigger leaked the record because he knew the fans was going to say he got his shit off.
But that's what I'm saying.
Kendrick is a smart nigger.
He gets to play both ways.
No ditty.
He gets to say to you,
yeah, nah, nah, I really want to, nah, nah, it ain't that serious.
But if it wasn't that serious, we'd have never heard that verse.
He leaked it that his fans could know.
This is why they've been caught.
How did a nigga that never battle nobody been called the boogeyman?
It's because he's been doing shit like that.
That it appears that none of y'all want to smoke with him.
So he tells you, oh, no, it wasn't, and that's why I change the verse.
But the leak comes out, and the leak shows him giving you a wedge.
Bro, come on, bro.
On a Nipsey song, I already addressed it on the song with Nip.
All right, I wonder if I could play the element OG.
We will play Kendrick Lamont.
our element leak all right here we go
I'm gonna so ain't nobody playing for me I'm on your head ay 30 millions later
know the news on my telegram like we cautious I be hanging items I be on stocked
and I don't do it for the ground my door for comp and I'm willing to die for this
Bigger act going digital and physical and all y'all act
Fuck the blaminer.
I put you on that wrong call French my talent speaking on me in interviews
Oh, I remember this.
Nah, he flamed a france.
Every cynical try I hate him something I don't approve.
Yeah, electronic and through silence
And so my grimy night.
Another dead prophet hoping the God to give him life.
Another dead prophet hoping that God would give him life.
Oh my God.
Yo, bro, this energy?
Brigh go a lot of you, man.
A niggins start talking like this, I gotta get mine off, bro.
You gotta get your shit off.
Yo, we squash it after I get my shit off.
Big Sean, keep sneak this and I let it slide.
I think it's cost confidence, got him inspired.
I can't make them respect you, baby.
It's not my job.
You're finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme.
Boy, cute-ass raps, get your puberty up.
What?
They make you a classic album before you come at a...
What?
Draky McMill beef might got you gassed up.
But now my whole other beast, I really fuck you up.
Oh, God.
Damn.
You know, we're not believing you, right?
You see, he literally was warning you saying,
Drake and Meat Mill Beef might get you gas up,
but I'm a different beast, and I will fuck you up.
Now, look how easy Drake demolished Meek Mill,
and then he was, him and Drake went at it, and yeah.
So, I ain't gonna lie.
Y'all know why Big Show plays stupid.
Big Show is too smart for this shit.
Damn, I forgot this how he was violating him.
I forgot he was saying names
Now granted,
I don't know how that battle would go
But I'm giving Kendrick credit
At this point that he's smart enough
To find an angle obviously with Drake
There was an angle of he's light skin
Not from America
He's from Canada
I could use he's still in culture
He doesn't respect
What real
You know growing up
In inner cities look like
He's not like he's not
like us
um
he don't like there's so many things
oh yo he's just stuck on fame he has no substance
like there was so many angles that he was trying to get a drink so so
granted most of those angles wouldn't work on Sean
Sean isn't seen like seen as a womanizer you can't call him a pedophile
Sean is a black man from Detroit you can't really use those angles but I'm
gonna be honest with you the battle with him and Drake to me was a proven ground that I was
like yeah I think all you niggies won't lead his name
alone because I think he's going to come up with an angle to violate you.
Like, violate you.
So just leave Kendrick alone now.
I don't know who he's going to take to punch this thing in his mouth,
my lyrically, obviously.
This and I let it slide.
I think it's cost confidence, got to miss five.
I can't make them respect you, baby.
It's not my job.
You're finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme.
Cute ass raps, get your purity up.
They make you a classic gallon before you come at us.
Draky McMill beef might got you.
gas up but now my whole other beast
I really fuck you up
I wish a nigga one
I wish a nigga one
Yo
Sean is a sick guy
The nigger diss you
And his next lines were
I wish a nigger
would
Is that my dog or is that an alarm?
What the fuck?
I wish a nigga one
I wish a nigga one
I wish a bitch one
I wish a bitch one
I wish a bitch one
Yeah not show him come on
stop blame bro stop blame bro that same leak that I heard prematurely right that he didn't use
it's like then it then it leaks fully later right and people hear and we already discussed it
and he said appreciate the shout out on a nipsey song i already addressed it on the song with nip
lack of communication or wrong information for people fueled by the ego is like mixing
flames with diesel that's what he said to you in the no that's what i said on a song with nipsy
oh i know but in the text it sounds like he's kind of said the same thing
Yeah, that's why I said it in the song.
Because in that text, he said,
yo, you know, my ego, da-da-da.
So it's like, when that shit leaks,
Okay, so you hear what he supposedly said?
So Kendrick supposedly says,
he says his ego caused him to do that.
And I think that that's what's not mentioned in,
like I honestly believe that Kendrick wants to be number one.
He doesn't, I think Drake has always been,
Drake wants to be number one too, but he's not the nigger who wants to demolish competition
get to number one.
He wants to be friends with everybody, but he's going to move strategically and use
moments to catapult to number one.
Kendrick is like, I'll treat this like March Madness.
I'll defeat you, you, you, you, and I'll be number one, right?
And, you know, people, even with the beef with him and Drake, a lot of people don't acknowledge
that Kendrick, it's not.
that Drake was some shit.
I know he says Drake is a shitty person that I hate and I hate what he stands for,
but Drake was always trying to be very cordial with the nigga.
Like, whether it's jealousy or whatever, Kendrick wanted to smoke.
Kendrick always wanted to incite shit.
It was never Drake.
You get what I'm saying?
So when you hear this, and I think a lot of people in the whitewashing of that beef,
even though it's no pun intended, or shit, that's not a pun at all because it's, you know,
it's Kendrick.
In the whitewashing of how people think about that battle,
they don't look at it like, yo, Kendrick was either jealous
and that led to things that obviously the beef kicked off.
Or they don't look at it like, well, Kendrick has this ego that, you know,
refuses to be cool with people and rather have these confrontational moments.
Right?
People don't look at it like that.
People just look at it as, oh, Drake been on some fuck shit and it's finally, finally his car getting pulled.
They didn't look at it from a Kendrick perspective, like, what's in his, what's in his, you know, wheelhouse of why he would, you know, want that with someone who hasn't necessarily tried to be aggressive with him.
And if you think about the Sean situation or even, like, maybe perceived shots said out Cole.
But when you hear this message, it's almost like Kendrick understands it.
Like, Kendrick's like, yeah, it's part of my ego.
I think I'm the fucking best.
Or shit, I think y'all niggas is dirt.
Like, who knows?
But he's admitting that his ego is kind of what's pushing this, right?
Dressed it on the song with Nip.
Lack of communication or wrong information for people fueled by the ego.
It's like mixing flames with diesel.
That's what he said to you in the...
No, that's what I said on a song with Nipsey.
Oh, I know.
In the text, it sounded like he's kind of said the same thing.
Yeah, that's why I said it in the song.
Because in that text, he said, yo, you know, my ego,
So, da-da-da.
So it's like, when that shit leaks,
it's like, people are like, oh, you heard what he said about you?
I'm like, nigga, I'm not a clout-chasing-ass nigga, bro.
I'm solid and I stand on mine,
and I'm not about to do something
because everyone thinks a certain thing.
Like, we already talked about it.
I already got an apology for it.
And your shirt right now says,
I do not care about their opinions.
So why would you care about the opinions of other people
if you know what it is between you and that?
Exactly.
This is why I think that Sean is not living in its truth.
Sean, you do care about people's opinions.
You know, I don't think maybe it affects how you act,
but I think it definitely affects how you feel.
I do feel like you feel a way when you're not mentioned.
I think you even say it here where I think Charlottom, he said,
you know, I don't think it's a big three.
I think it's a fantastic four.
And I looked in your eyes and it felt like you were like,
oh, no, you're about to put me along with these guys.
And then he said, yeah, it's Kendrick, Drey.
Jake J. Cole, but he said future.
And it was almost like, you're like, oh, damn, I'm not in there?
Yes, so I do think you care.
Here's my thing.
You ever hear the same in life?
You get what you negotiate, not what you deserve.
And I feel like, I feel like Big Sean has just negotiated himself in the top ten.
He ain't come for or demand the respect to put him in the top five, top three.
And I think, you know, every time I hear him like even talk about this, I'm like,
yeah, but it kind of feel like you've accepted it a bit, right?
And I think Charmin's going to bring it up with a, what do you call again,
when he says, you know, you mentioned the big three in one of your songs.
Here we go.
And that's what it's been.
You know, I ain't really had too much communication with him since then.
And, you know, but I just want to let, like, I represent a lot of people from my city, from where I come from, fans of mine who think I didn't stand on my shit.
And that's not the case.
That's what I want to clarify.
I wasn't being a bitch, nigger, or, like, tuck in my tail or nothing like that.
And if it was real smoke, if it was really something to stand on, I would be full front.
I would be there front and center for it.
And I would be prepared.
You know what I'm saying?
but it's not.
And people want to make something that is not.
So that's something that I never really got a chance to clarify.
And, you know, to me, it's better to be about business and to be authentic.
And, like, if there's literally not a problem there, then I'm not about to feed into no narrative that isn't true that I know isn't true.
Okay.
There's a few of parts.
He thought of that, it's an empty apology and that ain't shit.
Yeah, they say the best apology is change in behavior, like those stuff.
And, you know, but I just want to let, like, I represent a lot of people from my shit.
It's better to be about business.
It was like, but you got to think about it if it's like Metro booming and future and then
Kendrick addressing Jay Cole and Drake on first person shooter.
You're kind of involving...
He was talking about how that moment stepped on his shit.
A whole kind of like...
It's a whole thing.
It's like a whole, you know, as opposed to me.
I hadn't even dropped music in years, bro,
and I'm just like a return.
So I understood.
I was surprised, too.
I was just like everybody else.
Like, oh, shit, like, you know?
Aren't you glad that you and Kendrick never really got into it, though?
Because that could have been you, Sean.
Mm.
That could have been, what could have been me?
He did drink pretty dirty.
He did.
Yeah, that could have been ready for him.
No, he didn't.
Stop playing with me.
All of that?
I guess we'll never know.
Yes, though, of course.
Of course I would have been ready for it.
What changes have you made to better me than you since the album got leaked?
No.
Okay, okay.
No, no, no.
Niggas, that's up.
Bees that owe me family.
I really mean that.
Damn, nigga, like, I literally said,
I literally said niggas looking for engagement like they got their knee band.
I got better things to do to find someone to beef with.
They're like, oh, he's trying to beef.
Yeah.
I'm like, what the fuck are y'all not hearing?
I just said I got better things to do.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
I want to get to that.
I want, I'm, this is a multi-layered interview.
Yeah, so, but to her, it was like, yeah, niggie, you went from her to her to her.
Did you get any rhymes prepared?
And did it have to see him.
You have to be someone that, shoot, when I just did a song with M.
And she was like, you remember when we bought, all my friends go to college.
we go and want to do
I was surprised too
I was just like everybody else like oh shit
I'm trying to play that fantastic four comment
we have to be worried about shit like
fear or love
another one was the fear of money
warding though
that blueprint and
I'm not saying that either
that's you know what I'm saying is
is that it's not perfect
and that it needs to be worth
okay anyway
how is your relationship
so this is him told by him and Kanye
no and can you have a relationship
with a person who should
it on you the way he did on drink champs and he owes you six million dollars can y'all ever have a
genuine relationship well he doesn't owe me the money anymore it got resolved but oh he paid you
someone paid me i guess it was him word yeah but i took a little less than i probably i just wanted
to end it instead of going to court for some shit over that what was the haircut it was six million
so what was the haircut what was the haircut how much did you end up getting nice pocket watcher
I like that, that's what I do.
That is none of your business.
But you're good, though.
He did pay you, basically.
Well, yeah, so the thing was, I had an issue,
and I had an issue because I kept privately being like,
yo, I need my money to his lawyers, to him.
Not really bringing it to him so much because I know the type of guy he is.
He don't be dealing with all of the business aspect of things all the time.
You know what I'm saying?
So I'm doing it properly.
I'm going through the proper channels management.
They're like, you know what I'm saying?
And then after years go by, it's not like I was super hurting for it, but at the same time, it's like...
Become disrespect.
First of all, and I don't want to get it misconstrued, like, signing to good music was the best thing that could have happened to me in that moment in my life, period.
I don't take it for granted.
It was a golden opportunity signing to my favorite artist at the time and being able to sell 185 million records,
under good music.
You know what I'm saying?
It was a dream come true.
And his only profitable artist at that.
So it's like, I wore that good music and still do.
I still fuck with the brand and what it did for me and everything.
And there's a part of me that will forever fuck with yay because of that too for signing me.
You know, I'll never discount that.
But at the same time.
And by the way, I understand Big Sean completely on his Kanye West point.
What this tells me is that Big Sean,
has traits of loyalty and traits of respect where it's like you gave me an opportunity or
I looked up to you and it's it's hard for him to apply the same amount of disrespect as maybe
that person can apply to him because that person isn't looking at Sean as oh I needed you
they're looking at oh nigga I blessed you so I understand Sean completely with this and and I think
that's probably been a struggle for him because he can't really talk about Kanye you know it
probably doesn't even feel that way he probably doesn't feel about well you know Kanye was just like
yo oh yo it should be put on his tombstone that yo he gave Sean a career or whatever the
cases man I probably got to hurt Sean but like that's a tough thing man I know when you you um
you either think you got a mentor or you feel like somebody helped you or something there did some
for you before that was part of your journey a loyal niggies going to
It's going to take a lot for you to disrespect him.
A disloyal nigga will disrespect him at the first sign.
With the deal I signed, he made more money off of me, my music than me, which is totally fine.
I'm not complaining about that.
It's just a fact.
People be trying to take this so much as a fact.
It's just a fucking fact.
So when you're owed money off of a deal that you're already getting the lesser part of it
and you're hitting, I'm hitting up Def Jam because I'm audited in Def Jam.
Jeff Harleston. You know Jeff Harleston.
I'm like, yo, I need my money, bro.
Like, where the fuck is my money?
Because I'm audited in Def Jam.
Every time I audit Def Jam, there's money sitting there.
And then when I really broke it down and they were like, oh, yo, you sold 185 million records.
I'm like, wait, this don't equate, right?
Where's my $6 million?
Six million dollars?
No one's getting back to me.
No one's getting back to me.
So then I drop a record.
That's what people don't realize.
Like, a lot of these people, like, they're on these labels.
But they're signed through the label through an intermediary, right?
Like, Uzi's on Atlantic.
Actually, why does not see Uzi on Atlantic?
Oh, I didn't go down to the L's, probably.
Uzi's on Atlantic.
Let me look at Atlantic Records roster.
Ooh, look at this.
Where's L's?
You should see little Uzi.
Oh, yeah, we do see it.
Okay.
That's going to be interesting.
I don't know what Uzi's like current situation is.
remember he dropped like a bunch of deluxe's who knows how those things are worked out
between him and obviously so so the intermediary is generation now shit they're gonna have to
pay some money to keep uzi over there man uzi is a big deal right anyway you know uzi
yeah he'll have like overall labor meetings with with um Atlantic but any money that's
going to be paid to uzi is going to be paid by generation now they pay the money you get
I'm saying. Uzi is signed to Generation Now. Generation Now has a joint venture for him
underneath Atlantic. And by the way, they've done it like really smart because I think
Jack Harlow, sorry, they have with a different label. So they do the, you know what I mean,
they do the production deal. They probably fund the maybe the first like $2, 3 million. And then
after the first two, three million, they, they try, hopefully the artist is hot enough.
They bring it to a label and then, you know, the label funds the rest.
But shit, you know, at that point, that artist is getting a good back from the label and
then they busted down probably 50-50.
So, yeah, it's the same thing with like good music.
You know, good music was probably getting paid for everybody.
Pusha Tiana Taylor, everybody else, big Sean.
and they had to divvy up the money, right?
So I guess it didn't happen probably in the way that Sean wanted it.
Drop a feature on Benny the Bury the Butcher's album, and I say something about it.
Like, niggas, that's up, bees, that owe me M's.
I'm talking about Def Jam.
Later on, I realized, oh, no, your money got paid a long time ago to good music.
Okay, I don't give a fuck.
Where's my money?
Oh, no, you got a hit a yay for that.
Oh, shit, okay.
Yay, where's my money?
I'm not getting a straight answer from no one.
So then I'm like, bro, y'all playing with my money.
This is ridiculous, dog.
After all of the times where I've sat in the studio contributed, not got any credit on shit,
which is like I said, I'm not even complaining about that.
It is what it is.
But the point is, I need my money that's owed to me.
You know what I'm saying?
So that's all that was.
I ended up settling because I didn't want to deal with it no more.
I wanted to move past it because that shit is all, like,
energy too. So, you know, and after he said what he said, and then I got back up with him
after he said on drink champs. So y'all did connect after drink champs? Yeah, and I'm just...
In person phone? In person. Okay. Yeah. And he said, you know, he said what he said. I'm not,
I'm not into like gossip and stuff, but he said what he said and it made me realize that I can't
really take, I couldn't really take all what he was saying serious on that drink champs.
Very performative. Very performative. And that's the, that's how I am. That's how I am. That
That's like probably one of the reasons why, like, I feel like that's what I'm not, that's
what he's good at.
And I'm not so good at that, you know, because I'm like, I don't like doing things that
don't feel real or like, you know, where, you know, when we were there, it was like, oh,
yeah, make sure they get a picture of us leaving here so they can, I'm like, what, nigga,
you say it's some wild-ass shit about me, though.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah.
I hate that sucker shit.
I don't like that type of, um, I don't know, like, just not what I don't know, like, just
I value my relationships.
So if I've ever called you a friend, if I've ever called you a family, I really mean that.
So if you do something like that to me and I would never do that to you, it's half
me that will look at you the same ever.
Yeah, and I think he was just pissed because he felt like I chose Drake over him.
That relates back to like, I only used to bring that up because he brought that up to somebody
who told me something.
You said, Dricking.
I'm like in 2015, you're talking about the song Blessings, where I helped Yeh, write his verse
for the song, after he heard the song, was I have to be on it.
And I helped him write his verse.
And then I told him, you got to turn it into the mastering plant tomorrow, bro, because
my album is about to come out.
I wake up the next, by the way, I'm doing way too much as an artist.
Like, I shouldn't even have to be worried about shit like this.
I'm checking in like an A&R would.
Hey, did he send a verse to mastering?
Oh, no, he still didn't.
I call his engineer.
Yo, did he say, oh, no, we still, I'm like, bro, y'all bush, y' y'all playing.
If he wants to be on a song, you need to send it.
We ended up doing a video version and the radio version,
but for some reason he thinks because Drake didn't want him on that song.
But I was like, I'm putting Yeh on this song anyway because Yay put me on.
If he wants to be on the song, he's going to be on the song.
So even though I've said that to his face, he just don't hear me or some shit.
So for some reason, he just think that I would be an unloyal or some shit.
I really don't know.
I can't speak for him.
I in fact I don't like speaking for other people but I'm just from my perspective it was
something along those lines with that managing rapids eagles is crazy yeah what do you think about
all of that or you know I think that you should have done okay all right the opening view
go check it out with shaw me and the guy in a big chan all right let's see what we've got a few other
things cracking let's see what else do I have going okay
All right.
In other news, man.
So Yadhi posted,
Yaddy announced that he's leaving the internet.
Listen to this.
Fuck out.
I'm not doing no more talking.
I don't got shit else to say.
I'm gone off this internet shit.
I think I'm gone for the rest of the year.
I swear to God, I ain't talking.
I ain't got shit else to say.
Contracted to do this podcast shit, unfortunately.
But contracted to.
but I ain't posting no more shit
I'm not posting no fix
I don't get shit
I'm delete me apps off my phone
swear to God
I'm so off the shit
I'm not
I'm not
I'm not tweeting
I'm on my fucking business to me
I'm getting the fuck out
Yadi Yadi Yadi Yadi
you my guy
I'm your guy
but here's the thing man
Yaddy, we love what...
You're the only artist from your generation of rappers
who's ever been vocal about shit
and who's ever given your opinion.
Here's what comes with your opinion
is people being able to agree and disagree.
For example, you said that Atlanta got the best fashions in the world.
It's a fashion capital.
Survey says that was a lie, okay?
I think we gave Atlanta credit for certain fashion trends,
but unfortunately they haven't caught on.
Crop tops originate out of Atlanta, male crop tops.
Paint your fingernails, different colors, having hello kitties and all type of different flamboyant colors.
Definitely Atlanta.
Fortunately for y'all, haven't caught on.
Dresses.
Definitely, Atlanta.
God damn it.
Fortunately for y'all, haven't caught on.
That is a few things that you've done.
And I actually give you the credit for that, but you're from.
of Atlanta. Like, for example, like these, what they call it, the bell bottom, like pants,
those type of things. I think it's catched on a little bit. Even though truth be told, I don't
really see it among anybody who's not an influencer, but okay, y'all got that. But I think people
were really protesting against, you know, your opinion. And they were just saying their opinion.
I don't think, you know what I mean? And yawdy's a cool dude. I don't think nobody would
threaten him or nothing like that. I think people would just disagree. And that,
comes along giving your opinion. When you give your opinion, you should expect people to agree and
disagree. So if that's the reason why Yadhi is saying that he's not giving his opinion or more,
well, Yaddy, why does you give your opinion in the beginning? You know what I mean? And I know
you're a guy who's a, not opinion, but like you, you're not scared to communicate what you
think. When you say what you think, people could disagree or agree. So I don't think that's it.
And I'm hoping that's not it. Right. Again, I disagree with that, but I'm not even a fashion
guy in the first place. So you, you could, shit.
Who cares about my fashion of him?
Then there's some people who believe that the reason why you're saying that is because you've spoken on the Drake thing.
And I don't think this is what it is, but I'll endose those people just because.
And this is, you know, I'll play some of the clips of people saying you were talking about Drake on, you know, it was on flagrant.
You know, again, I don't think it was this because in your thing where you're saying you're not going to be on internet, you literally say you're not going to post fits.
And this is not about fits.
Anyway, this is some people think you're talking about as Drake and Kendrick Beef.
This is what you said then.
You ever hooked up with someone's girl?
I don't know, probably.
Yo, is that why everybody's mad as your boy?
Because he fucked bitches?
No, because he fucked their bitches.
I think people would just hand on Drake because he's like, he's the guy.
There's no, like, there's something extra on it.
It's also probably he's fucked everyone's bitch, yeah.
My, like, my suspicion was like, yo, this shit got to be personal.
I mean, it's also that guy, though.
All the records, all the numbers, like he's the one.
How hard was that beat for you?
Like, I'm sure you're friends with everybody in Atlanta.
You're a shout it out in the song.
You're being pulled in different directions.
You want to be loyal.
I just wish I had never spoke on it.
That's the only thing that I wish I hadn't said anything about it.
And knowing, you see, this is where, like, you know, me give my opinion,
because I was talking to Yadi.
lot off, you know, off of the shit.
Ooh, I could, oh, it's raining here.
I might have to go get my, my, uh, Pluto, Pluto's outside.
Ooh.
God damn, why is the weather, the weather's so crazy these days.
Like, it'll be like hot as fucking, maybe it'll start raining like crazy out of the blue.
That we'll get Pluto.
Okay.
All right.
What did you originally say?
He liked the hell of a tweet.
That was, I really was an accident, but it was so funny.
People were like, no, don't, don't fucking.
Have you ever hooked up with someone's girl?
Okay.
I don't know.
kind of disconnected from it.
Now, here's the thing.
You know, I do believe that Yadi isn't, you know,
I think Yadi isn't a weird spot.
He's a phenomenal artist.
He's a phenomenal writer.
He's a phenomenal producer.
He wears so many hats.
Like, and I hope he doesn't take this a disrespect when I say.
He's kind of like Tyler Perry.
Pause.
Not the gay shit because it's how pretty gay?
I don't know.
I don't think Yadi's gay at all.
But Tyler Perry writes the movie, directs the movie,
He produces the movie, like acts in the movie.
He does everything.
Yadi does 15 different things really well.
Good writer.
Good producer.
He's great, great ear for music.
Like, he does so many things so well.
And also he's a good media personality too,
that I think he's having a conflict within himself.
How do you balance it?
As an artist, you have to play a political game.
As a media personality, you have to tell the truth.
most artists they don't even want to
I had Polo Gio and I can tell you what he said
He basically was playing the game
He said I don't even want to talk about it
He don't want to piss off Drake's people
He don't want to piss off Kendrick's people
That's how artists are playing this shit
That's political
That's where you got to play as an artist
Especially if he wasn't on that stage dancing
Yadi
He's a great artist
He's friends with Drake but he's also media personality
He's not going to be a liar
And I think that's the problem
So he's having these conflicts right now
but it's growing pains.
You do a phenomenal podcast.
You know, first of all,
you're a top 10 media personality,
according to a complex.
With your podcast,
you've done great interviews.
You brought us a great J-Co interview.
We like it.
You brought us a great,
even interview with,
Drake,
even though it wasn't for your podcast,
but still,
you're in a place of where
you're trying to pick what matters to you the most.
Is it you telling the truth?
You being honest?
Is it you saving these relationships?
you know um it's tough it's tough um you are probably not at liberty you know it took a while for joe
to get to where he's at you're not at that place at that point because your relationship with
these artists because they see you as a contemporary is worth way more than what they think
about you just being a media personality or you just being somebody who's just a fan you know
shit, listen, me and Drake has had that conversation.
He's not mad if I said, yo, not like us.
He's not mad at all.
You know what I mean?
He's not mad if I was like, well, you know what?
He's not mad about any of my opinions.
We've spoken about all of them.
And he said, act, I respect you so much because you're always very base in reality,
whether it goes in my favor or not.
And sometimes he don't go to my favor.
And I got to respect it.
Yadhi, I don't think, you know, because you're such a prolific artist,
I don't think you're there yet.
if you were on the twilight of your career and they were looking at your media personality,
yeah, maybe that.
So I'll say that,
but I think he's figuring out how not to piss off the most amount of people.
And here's the thing, Yadda, you're always going to piss people off being honest.
You're going to, right now you have a label.
People are realizing how talented you are musically.
You're making great music.
You're helping people write great music.
You're producing great music.
You're going to have to pick whether you're going to have to,
to choose your career as a musician or your career as a podcaster and potential media personality.
That's what it is.
And, you know, when artists get in your position sometimes, they'll be like, yo, I don't want
to do podcasts.
I just want to do an artist thing because, yeah, people do kind of look at you a little bit
weird after.
They feel like, oh, okay, yeah, but you're not one of us.
