Starting point is 00:00:00 Building. How are y'all feeling, man? How are y'all feeling, chat? How y'all feeling? Get on up in here. Get on up in here. Get on up in here. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Anyway, what's good with y'all?
Starting point is 00:00:45 What's good? Wait, what's going on with King Academics? Every time I start streaming, like, this shit don't be starting all King Academics no more. Try yet. Are we started over there? Let me just see. Okay, we're live. Good.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Super shysty. Crooked letter, crooked letter, David Banner. What's going on with y'all, man? What's going on with y'all? What day are we on? What are we on, like, day 17? Can I get some Ws in the chat if y'all been enjoying this 30 for 30? if not for the content, just for the consistency.
Starting point is 00:01:50 I keep telling y'all, y'all are the boss. At any time, y'all could be like, act, we still on the stream before last. Take it slow, take a day off or two. We'll be a right. See you in a few days. See you in a few days. At any point, y'all can let me know.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Could give the content a little room to breathe. We'll give the content a little room to breathe. Oh, boy, chat. The weather outside is nasty. Oh, and Tony, thank you for the Yosur chat. He says, where my Jamaican relief on the money go, nigger? So I told you, first of all, I'm donating about 20 times with you, y'all, yeah, yeah, you donated.
Starting point is 00:02:41 But I'm donating that. I found where we're doing a donation to. It's really kind of like how we're doing it, right? So my mom is kind of helping out with that. And not to make this. So really, I'm about to donate to my old high school in Jamaica. Now, this might fuck you up, but high school in Jamaica starts at seventh grade.
Starting point is 00:03:09 I left Jamaica like the first year of high school. So, you know, middle schools over here is seventh grade in Jamaica's high school. I was told, like we come from a small town. It's like countryside. I mean, it's not like Kingston, I'm not everybody from Kingston. And, you know, it's not the richest place, even though I never felt like I was poor. The roof off of one of the buildings came off. And, you know, they're still kind of like, they've moved kids around, but they're still struggling to kind of get everything together to get that situated.
Starting point is 00:03:45 So, you know, when I ask my family, like, hey, listen, I don't just want to donate money to an organization. And they're like, oh, we're just doing relief funds. If we could identify, like, we're from there. If we could identify an actual problem, especially in places that we've lived or been, let's do that. And, you know, the principal of the high school spoke with my mother and, you know, kind of explained the situation and how, like, you know, they're still kind of destabilized as a school. Again, I only went there for about, like, it was a couple of months or maybe like a year. and then I left to move over here. But, you know, I think it's a fine high school,
Starting point is 00:04:30 which, you know, if I came from there, I hope, you know, I could hopefully help motivate some other kids that's coming from there. So, yeah, that's where the money is going to go. Then, like, they're working on whether they want, wanted me to, like, go visit and, like, do, like, a whole, like, you know, presentation and speech to them.
Starting point is 00:04:53 and like give them a check like you know you give the big ass check or whatever um or just like you know i mean this is jamaican i i doesn't want to just wire money and be like all right we'll see like in a year and then later on in a year the fucking roof is still gone right so yeah but but that should get situated in the next month or so and um just to let you know right just to let you know if you guys are wondering like okay what happened to the money um that you guys donated And then I said I'm going to give like 10 exit or 20 exit, whatever. It's going to end up going to my old high school that lost like roofs of certain buildings at the high school. So yeah, we're figuring it out.
Starting point is 00:05:41 We're figuring it out. All right. All right. All right. Okay. Okay. Okay. So chat.
Starting point is 00:05:46 So chat. We do have a lot to get into tonight. Buckle up. Get some DoorDash Uber eats. whatever you might need. We're in for a doozy tonight from conversations about radio, antiquated platforms. Looks like there's a lot of maybe musical chairs, movements happening in this industry as we speak.
Starting point is 00:06:09 What's the status of radio? And what's the future, right? Not only that, you know, Drake is ever president in most of these conversations, but we also have some other stuff. YB YB kind of going back and forth Not really him going back and forth But clearly NLEC chopper really wants to engage with YB
Starting point is 00:06:28 And YB has like subliminally responded So we got we got some content for that Some drama going on with Russell Simmons It's kind of convoluted I'm going to try to bring it together Let me see what else is what I got for y'all here Finesse two times on some shit Casos dad on some shit Trayson's getting arrested
Starting point is 00:06:48 We got a bunch of stuff And y'all let me down. When I went over this coach of Michigan, why y'all ain't tell me that this nigga was offering free tickets to like some Onlyfans chick for a foursome? Why y'all ain't tell me that? That's the juicy part of the story. Yeah, come on, bro.
Starting point is 00:07:04 D.L. Hughley actually, you know, checking Nikki. Because, you know, I think he doesn't appreciate how political Nicky's gotten and Nikki's arguing politicians on her Twitter. Let me see. if we get all the way there, we're probably going to maybe touch on some Erica Kirk, Candice Owen stuff. And, you know, again, we're not obviously political experts,
Starting point is 00:07:33 but, you know, I think we got some common sense. And we are trying to expand our topic range outside the realm of hip-hop too. Not, you know, we're still always going to be primarily culture and hip-hop, but, you know, if there is a really engaging topic, that's outside the scope of hip hop. We want to be able to at least sound at least semi-intellectual while discussing it, even if you disagree with my take on it. Not only that, and I'll add it here,
Starting point is 00:08:05 we should probably, if we get to that part of the stream, also talk about the terror attack that happened in, I believe it was Australia, if I'm not mistaken. Was it Sydney? I can't remember, but it was definitely overseas. and the video, I'm not going to lie, that was one of the most surreal videos I've seen. Like, people are just nonchalantly filming, like,
Starting point is 00:08:30 these guys with, like, long rifles, just shooting people and kill them. And that was crazy. We'll get into that once we kind of deal with all the drama, the BS, the music stuff, and get to that realm. Now, before I get into anything, and I do want to, you know, we have a limited edition. We have a limited edition item on sale right now.
Starting point is 00:08:56 And I do want to say if you guys cop this, rather than donate, you can just cop this and I'll give you a shout out regardless. But if you go to the academy. That shop, y'all should know the website by now, the academy. dot shop. If y'all go here, we got a new product on sale. We got a new product on sale, man. it's the teenier citizen shirt okay if you guys are going through a midlife crisis or want to go through
Starting point is 00:09:25 one or maybe you just want to feel like a y n right you just want to feel like a yn we got the teenier citizen shirt officially on sale i'm going to leave it to me no to keep doing you know i mean um verbal masturbation on his instagram for likes and clicks i'll do the big boy move and just drop the shirt Okay, so the teenager citizen shirt is out and popping. And, you know, I don't know. Maybe we take some of the proceeds and donate to some geriatric center. But make sure you guys go cop that. If you guys do cop it while we're on stream, of course, I'll make sure I'll give you guys a shout out.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Okay. I'll be sending a care package to the guys over there all for them. And I know Davey's, you're not that old, but maybe you can just hang that one. up until you get to 50 as well. So, Fab, I'll be sending you one, okay? I think we got a mail-in-the-adress for you. And, um, uh, Maynall, we're going to send you a couple because you seem very angry. And then Jim Jones, I'm going to see if we can get a tailored version, but we're going to get
Starting point is 00:10:33 it in some muscle shirt fit for you. We got you, though. But if you guys want to get the new teenager citizen drip, just go to the academy, theacademy. And make sure you order it. Now it's in pre-order, but it was going to, you know, it's a turnaround. That's pretty quick, all right. All right, guys, go copy your T-N-a-sit-sonsor shirts.
Starting point is 00:10:54 And I think we might as well just get into it, right? How y'all feel? I feel, I feel like a Y-D? Yeah, come on, now. Now I'm going to be honest with you. You know, because we had a board meeting. Yes, at the academy, we had board meetings, which means I just talked to myself. Anyway, we're going to have a full meeting.
Starting point is 00:11:18 full package. It's going to be the YN combo. All right. That's going to come for Christmas, but we couldn't wait, so we had to drop the shirt first. So we're going to have Shistis. Yes, the Shisdys are coming. If you want to feel like a true YN, we're going to have Shishties and yes, we're going to sell some YN memorabilia, maybe some handkerchief, you know, whatever y'all need and whatever we could supply Jim Jones and Mayno and them with that they could continue to feel like they're in the future. field. Okay, so we got a few things coming and you guys could order the teenager sister shirts currently, all right? Chat is going down currently. People are in shambles. They're wondering
Starting point is 00:12:03 what has happened to radio. We're watching a lot of hip hop, either podcasts or just, let's just say media outlets. They're all losing their jobs. I've heard the T-Mabre. I've heard the T-M. everybody. I've heard the tea about everybody. By the way, the crack whore over at Joe Bunn's podcast, apparently my words about you yesterday made it to some powerful ears. They hit me up, they said, even we got rid of that bitch. I'll just leave it there. Okay. So look like you sitting on that couch looking very uncomfortable, looking like a baked potato. It's not necessarily by choice, it was the only thing smoking from what I've been told. I think Joe is an amazing person for giving you an opportunity.
Starting point is 00:13:01 But yes, yes. And yeah, they told me we got rid of that bitch too. I said, oh shit. Okay, I get it. They hit me this morning. Bright and early. Bright and early. This is why I wake up at 8 o'clock every morning because that's what you're going to get.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Hey, I see the stream. Thank you for the shout out. But just let you know, we got no relationship. I go her toe. Oh, thanks for the info. Thanks for the info. So, um, if she's not trying to join Ebro,
Starting point is 00:13:31 Rosenweeb, DJ Dickhead, the gay nigga from the bigger pitcher, was the name, Jeremy? I suggest she tread lightly. I'm hearing that the Joe Bunn podcast is the last stop for this train. That's what I'm hearing.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Terminated. Terminated. terminated. Mm-mm-mm. Anyway. Okay. So, so. There's a few things that's brewing, chat.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Obviously, Ebro and Rosen dweeb, they're still coping. Oh, they're going through it. They're going through it. Chat, these days, fuck the Don Julio, man. It's like I got a, I got a vass or a vase of their tears. And I'm just taking shots from them. I'm watching these niggas. Yo, they're like going through,
Starting point is 00:14:32 yo, once I've seen Rosen Dweeb said, my old pal, happy Hanukkah. Huh? Boy, if you don't get your lame ass on, man, like, yo, listen, I think he should be in a rush to get down to the unemployment line, but it's okay.
Starting point is 00:14:50 I see, um, Ebum, chat, you know, you get fired, you know, you got two jobs, you get five from one.
Starting point is 00:15:00 He ain't, never show up early at Apple yet. Yo, by the way, a nigga in Apple hit me. It's a yo, act. This nigga came in here. They said, Ebro usually up in Apple, throwing his weight around, talking to people like there's scum and dirt beneath his shoes. Just like how we played the video of him talking down to rappers at Hot 97 like it was
Starting point is 00:15:22 his program. I brought you up here. It's me. I did this. I gave you a chance. I'm the reason you could have. You could have food for your family. That's how he was talking.
Starting point is 00:15:35 I heard that's how he was giving it up at Apple as well. Not today. Today, he showed up from what I was told, two hours early. He sat quietly in the lobby. He basically had his corporate voice on, and he was doing something that I've heard. And by the way, the hot 97 bosses hit me up too. They said y'all were mailing it in, y'all were lazy, and basically y'all were pulling a highway robbery,
Starting point is 00:16:06 collecting a check while doing nothing. Y'all stopped going to events, y'all stopped doing everything, and apparently ever since the pandemic, and by the way, this is why, you know, I know y'all be talking about that right-wing shit. Of course y'all don't fuck with nigs like Trump, because ever since the pandemic, y'all didn't want to go back to work.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Y'all want to do it from home. They refused to go in the street. studio when the rent is sky high, so they're not going to events, they're not going to outreach programs, they're not doing nothing. They wouldn't shoot new promos, take new pictures. They would only want guests that could appear on Zoom. Essentially, the new bosses says, why the fuck are we, yo, they're doing a show like they're doing a fucking business call on Zoom.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Get them out of here. Get them out of here. but we have some excuses for that time. Oh, yeah, chat. I ain't going to lie to you. It's been a great couple days for me because here's the thing. Remember I always tell you,
Starting point is 00:17:09 act the king of sources. Me? Mm-hmm. Yep, king of sources. You see, they love saying, you'll be getting on hearing, man, you just be blowing hot air, pause. Like, yo, you just be chatting.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Well, here's the thing. My chat happened to go viral. And just like anytime I engage with an artist, you know who usually hits me up to feed me the details about the artists or the real info, their bosses, the labels,
Starting point is 00:17:35 their old manager, the bitch they fuck. Yeah, yeah. So last night, I was talking to all y'all former bosses. The crack whore from Joe Bunn podcast, Terminator, get her out of you.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Talking to people who were in the building, some that's currently still in the building. I won't disclose you. They're over at Apple with them. They say today was a humblest day in this thing is career. low voice no shouting came in he was talking like he was in a fucking library usually he was talking like he was on the block hey yo y'all give me some fucking coffee none of that no more it's over
Starting point is 00:18:13 none of that a little bit of humbling look you see when you get fired from your first job you show up to your second job you sit in the lobby for two hours waiting a clock in corporate voice on and you basically at that point you have been humbled okay Listen to this thing. He's shooting. He's doing what I'm telling you. The niggas at Hot 97 said they refused to do. They wouldn't promote the show at all.
Starting point is 00:18:40 So they called these guys. They basically committed highway robbery. They were just robbing a company of a check. Listen to him at his second job after he got terminated from the first. He's in a lobby waiting to clock in, by the way. Hello. You ever see this thing on Twitter when he's talking otherwise? Hey, yo!
Starting point is 00:19:06 Hey, yo, B! Hello. It's almost time for the Ebro show here on Apple Music One, you know? Oh, yeah. You checked into our amazing offices here. Whoa, hold on now. Hold on now. We've been told that one of y'all nasty motherfuckers up there in that morning show
Starting point is 00:19:33 either didn't shower, didn't bathe, or brought rodents, rats, roaches, and y'all clothes, your vest, y'all purses, and y'all transmitted an infestation up at the station. I think it's Ebro. I think it's Ebro. But anyway, he's bragging about the Apple offices. You go on every day at 3 o'clock, you can tune in and listen to me on the Ebro show. Today, we have Poo Shitey on.
Starting point is 00:20:25 We had Jennifer Hudson on Apple Music Board. GM snooze, thank you for the 20. Thank you, brother. Zach, I've been watching since 14, man. And since the thug, I guess he meant since 2014. Since the thug and Wayne Beef, you're the only person that was talking about with the car to five delay.
Starting point is 00:20:41 We love you and we need you. Keep shitting on these peons. I'm not really shitting on them. I'm just kind of, you know, I'm here to, you know, it's not like a revenge of the nerd situation. It's just kind of letting y'all know the reality behind when people like this try to give a light of glamour, yeah, this might look good. But if you're sitting at home and you could only record off garage band with your phone and there's sirens in the back, you don't really have no drip to get on camera, you only got your iPhone camera, you don't got the best equipment. you don't have billboards in Times Square,
Starting point is 00:21:23 you don't have billboards on the highway. Just know your passion alone could defeat niggas like that. That's why I'm doing this. Because for too long, they used the logo that was backing them to try to shit on people like me. And when I say me, I mean collectively me,
Starting point is 00:21:47 which includes the creator who might be watching this. It's time for a new era. And sometimes, you know, I love saying, some of these people are there, irredeemable. You just throw, you know, they say don't throw out the baby with a bathroom. Throw it all out. He's one of those guys. A cancer.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Right before I jump on, so she might be all right now. You know, his issue in hip-hop has always been the personalization. If he don't like you, I'm going to even give you a story. I'll give you a story. You know, so the son of Lucian Grange is Elliot Grange. He runs 10K. You know, little acc assigned to 10K. You know, I have a record label right through a joint venture through 10K.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Still to this day, it's called the Academy Records. When I realized Ebro didn't, you know, because of course, like, you know, there's some stuff politically they would try to bring me in on to influence, right? Like, yo, it's an influential thing to say, yo, AC is supporting this, right? And I get it, because labels do what they do. I remember these conversations that would have board meetings. They said, Ebro doesn't like this artist for whatever reason. Ebro will not play his music.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Then when Ebro went to Apple, they say, oh, fuck, what are we going to do? And I could tell you these conversations. These conversations turn from, yo, we're going to have to force Apple's hand to fire him if that's how he does to a majority of artists on our label. But I'll be fair, he didn't do it to a majority of artists. He picked and chose a couple. 6-9, no. When YB's going through his shit, no.
Starting point is 00:23:41 When Cuando, whatever, with Vaughn, no. So it's not like he picked a whole label because they would have ousted him. Like, niggas would have, niggis within Universal would have said, Apple, get that nigg going out of here because he's blackballing some of our labels. I'm not accusing him of doing that, but he would pick and choose his favorites and the people he didn't like, they would get no love. So I watched him do it to 6-9. I watched him.
Starting point is 00:24:12 And I'm not here. This is not a let's pick up for 6-9 thing. But I tell that story because as somebody who, for me, I'm opinionated this and the third, I get an opportunity to be on the label side because I get a joint venture after the little acting, right? It became such a thing, and this is how much his bias was known. When they realized that Ebro didn't like me,
Starting point is 00:24:47 and you would tweet frequently nasty things at me, they said, well, act, okay, we get your huge promo outlet, but on certain artists, if you're going to sign them, we're going to have to act like they're not signed to you that Ebro doesn't do what he's doing and personalize his issue with you on an artist that have nothing to do with it. Do you see how fucked up that is though, chat?
Starting point is 00:25:13 That a guy gets into a position and he uses the company to grind the acts of personal vendettas and beefs. So when y'all say, act, why are you so in a celebratory, a celebratory mode, a mood about this guy's, you know, unceremonious departure from Hot 97, is because the gatekeepers have to die.
Starting point is 00:25:47 There is such a thing that in the United States, when we think about how could we cure racism, some of it just got to die out. You can't change everybody's minds. Some of it has to die out. You got to wait until some of them old motherfuckers just die. You got to wait until they kick the can. They've been like that for umpteen years.
Starting point is 00:26:12 40, 50, 60 years. You think they're going to change with, oh, they realize the climate's different. No, Ebro is one of those. Ebro, and this is why I prescribed him some ayahuasca. Makes me a little bit of honey. Because the self-awareness and also the failed manipulation of the conversation is so apparent. So, Ebro, it's trying to say the reason why you got pushed out
Starting point is 00:26:43 is because, you know, right-wing niggis and, you know, whatever, propaganda, and he wasn't cool with Israel or whatever. And I'm like, come on, bro, you're not that important. You're not that important. Ebro, if you're going to have honest conversations, have the honest conversations about what people are actually alleging you did. Number one, I've said that you got to let go
Starting point is 00:27:06 because you didn't produce ratings. You start mailing it in. I get it. Right? But number two, the conversation of why people are celebrating is not because people are right wing. It's because people have identified you
Starting point is 00:27:23 as one of the last of a dying breed, a gatekeeper who feels like their power within the game gets to play Kingmaker. You get to pick and choose who has a career. This isn't something, you know, and the reason I keep saying the ayahuasca shit is because I want you to have that self-awareness. I'm not just making it up. If you listen to this guy on Twitter and him whine, oh, it's a, oh, it's Drake.
Starting point is 00:27:50 And I wouldn't even be surprised if he acted like, even though Drake is not even cool with his label right now. So Drake, you know, Drake can't pull no strings because that's what people would do with Jay-Z back in the day, even though Jay-Z eventually had some power and he started doing some weird shit like a lot. But he's trying to avoid the conversation. He's trying to make it seem like, oh, no, I was on the right side of history and they were just pushing me out. No. You didn't produce results. Your biasedness.
Starting point is 00:28:23 Your personal vendettas. Over the years. And it's not only because of Drake. Because if you listen to me, he's going to be like, nah, it's because Drake lost a battle. No. I'm going to give you case and point. Because after a while, you guys might be like, act, damn, yo. Shit, I forgot.
Starting point is 00:28:41 You don't forget. And you're right. I don't. But anytime you ever think that I'm just spewing bullshit, there's always something to back it up. Ain't there? Well, enter Saigon. Okay? Now, I liked Saigon's music, and that was one of the reasons when I was trying to get into this game, my enemy is possible.
Starting point is 00:29:10 One of the people I looked up to was Just Blaze. I loved how he mixed it. It was really Just Blaze. Heat Makers Kanye. I love how they dealt with samples. I used to study those guys. Just Blaze, you know, he cooked up this amazing beat. And gave it to a new upcoming rapper named Saigon.
Starting point is 00:29:36 He's right here. Saigon, who was in a situation with his label where they were trying to figure out, hey, could this guy go? at that point he got pretty much what which was a Stimmy a JZ feature
Starting point is 00:29:59 so Jay jumps on this beat probably because of his relationship with Just Blaze and it's this really dope record that could take this guy career to a different level
Starting point is 00:30:15 now you see the guy's standing next to him right you probably won't notice him because he's not in his car with the Uber sign on and he's not like, you know, there's not a bunch of, you know, roaches jumping out of his pockets at this moment. And he's not sitting in the lobby of Apple Music on his best behavior because he's now deathly scared that his power is dwindling. And they're looking at him like, boy, just fucking flip the burger like we told you to. Stop acting like you're the boss.
Starting point is 00:30:46 So you might not recognize this guy right next to him. But I'm going to tell you who this is. This is Ebro Darded. a guy who came from the Bay Area and eventually made it to New York City and being the program director on the, at least previously, the biggest hip-hop station on the East Coast. Well, why is he pictured with Saigon and how does this story make sense? For that, let's read the story that Saigon said.
Starting point is 00:31:15 He said, the reason I'm happy to see Ebro finally out that specific position is because he was definitely using his personal feelings to hinder motherfucking lives and careers. Anyone who has followed my career know how this guy single-handedly destroyed what I'd worked for my whole life. For those who don't know, let me give you a long story short. On this day, we took a picture
Starting point is 00:31:36 in the Hamptons. I played in the verse that Jay-Z had given me before anybody. Because I knew he was the program director at Hot 97. And I assume we were friends. I told him how Atlantic Records was a radio-driven label.
Starting point is 00:31:55 And they weren't going to put my album out. By the way, that's the time that they would use the word shelf. They weren't going to put my album out until I had what they considered a radio hit. And boy, did Jay-Z save the day. At least for me. Thanks again, Hope. Ebro knew how much this record meant to be. Imagine, just imagine, like, you know, canon, and he's talking about, like, discarding,
Starting point is 00:32:21 Drake's verse on Vasachi. And he's equating his song to Drake on Vasachi for the Migos. He says, ouch. He said, but imagine they just deleted it. He says, I could only remember vividly something on his face told me he wasn't that happy for me. Like, he didn't think I deserved a JZ feature even after years and years of grinding to get my name out there. To sum it up a few weeks later, I got into a little scuffle with Mom Deep at SOBs. That's a club in New York, too, by the way.
Starting point is 00:32:52 There was no blood. There's no cops. There was no injuries. There's no cancellation. They still perform after I escaped the ass-wopin. I would have gotten if I not had to defend myself. Let me give you guys the video of what happened. And I'll give you the real quick 30-second story.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Basically, you get Saigon who gets into it like a verbal spat with Mob Deep. And he ends up at a close. club that they're in and essentially they surround him he swings on prodigy god rest is so and he runs out the club before the mob deep goons could actually you know jump on him and beat him to a bloody pulp apparently he was only there with one bodyguard mob deep as the word or the last part of their name suggests pause they were pretty deep pause they had a lot of people with them Now, because I don't like to be happy. Let's enjoy ourselves.
Starting point is 00:34:26 We all good. We all good. We all good. That's what so. We all good. Now, because I don't like to be contextually biased, especially when, again, there's really nothing personal with me and E. But I like to kick the facts. This, I believe was a hot 97 event.
Starting point is 00:34:51 they had a series called Who's Next? And they used to have it at SOB. So it's not like some random show. It's one of their outreach shows to kind of involve the community. People would come out. They could see the radio host. And it could be an opportunity for young artists to make a splash and possibly be on the radio. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:23 So what happened in. you guys probably missed it essentially Saigon swings I believe it hits Prodigy once or twice and then he runs out through the crowd and runs out the venue they go to chase him but he gets away and um yeah right there this is Prodigy I believe he hits him twice Pridesy fell over there he jumps up he jumps off bodyguards with them
Starting point is 00:36:21 and they run out there and then yeah something like that right okay pay attention Saigon his prodigy twice in the head oh they're really like yeah at the time this was a huge deal in New York City I can't lie to you
Starting point is 00:36:34 yes so this is Saigon right oh never mind no no this is the Saigon one two and I don't know where he ran to okay so this isn't
Starting point is 00:37:15 on here but I think this might be one of his guys or somebody chasing him I guess I don't know where is he running to or where is he all right who cares okay you guys get the gist he says next day I get a call from Atlantic Records CEO not happy at all he said Ebro told them I was banned from Hot 97 for an entire year and said none of my music could be played that's where the relations with Atlantic and I went super bad they wouldn't invest another penny in me I called and asked Ibro why he would do that to me knowing all I've been through to get to that point and he said it's my policy he said we banned 50 cent when his people shot the game at the station he said we banned Noriega when they had a shootout at the station too he was comparing a light
Starting point is 00:38:06 scuffle where I was attacked and defended myself with my fist to motherfuckers having a shootout at the actual radio station l-o-l my heart knew he just didn't feel I deserved to win I was was bitter about that shit for like 15 years. My whole life would have been different had he not done that. Anyway, I still don't want to see him all fucking down regardless. Regardless of what he did to me, stay up, Ebro. I'm going to be honest with you, dude, that was pretty much the end of his career. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Now, what also happened is Ebro exposed that Drake privately messaged him and Drake told him some very ominous words. Drake wasn't like, man, that's fucked up what happened to you. Drake told him, die slower, pussy. We got some shit for you. Drake did it at 3.30 a.m. He responded, relax. You're salty about losing to Kendrick.
Starting point is 00:39:28 You're not mad at me. Love, bro. Let me go to his own words. Okay. Let me go to his own words here. Give me one second, Chad. Because they launched their new show, which is the old show, just on the YouTube channel, which they used to shit on. Okay, whatever.
Starting point is 00:40:01 And they explained all this. And I'm not going to lie, man. I was taking a shot and I was having a good old time watching all this bullshit. Here we go, chat. Let's watch it together. We'll give a look. Here we are. It's Blood in the Water.
Starting point is 00:40:18 Ebro and Rosenberg. No, Laura Stoules. who, yo, you know what's crazy, bro? So we was going on vacation. Laura had a scheduled vacation. As she does every year for a very long period. Every year. Okay, I want to skip to this.
Starting point is 00:40:35 She's stuck, by the way, again, having travel issue. Yo, and then, yo, my favorite shit right now is the blood and the water shit. What do you say? What do you mean? The blood in the water shit is my favorite shit, because now you just, the people who have been waiting for you. They're just waiting. They hate your guts.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Yo, could somebody tell Ebro that he's not that important? First, he said that Trump was waiting. Come on, bro. You're not that important. You're just not that important. The reality behind it is that because you've had a career that felt like it was super hatred towards a specific few people, they're trying to return that energy to you.
Starting point is 00:41:22 that's it and honestly if you came out and said damn you know what I never knew just hating on somebody or celebrating their potential demise will make them feel like this
Starting point is 00:41:36 you know what my bad for that I think people would stop I don't think people care about you I really don't think people care about now chat remember when I got banned from Twitch back in was it January or February your niggies like this was having a great old time oh love it
Starting point is 00:41:52 it loving it loving it you get what I'm saying anyway let's I'm trying to skip through some of this conversation okay they're gonna talk quickly or in a second about Drake DM in him here we go I'm like oh yes oh this is like no there's a holiday gift to some people they are but but but I so I saw the same thing and I got some of it as well but like they really aren't aware that this was not our primary thing anymore and like hadn't been for a long time how do they not know you see chat when when trying to save yourself you're giving us more reason why you guys should have been fired you guys are bragging like why even complain that you did get fired or that the company's going whatever direction when if you get fired you're saying
Starting point is 00:42:52 Didn't y'all know that wasn't my main check no more? That's the side chick now. Like, we wasn't even fucking with it. That's exactly why you got fired. You didn't get fired because of right wing of this and third. Y'all are both admitting it wasn't a priority for y'all anymore. It wasn't where you guys were focusing the majority of your energy or giving your best effort. That's why you got fired.
Starting point is 00:43:16 You were mailing it in. The self-awareness is really interesting. this was not our primary thing anymore and like hadn't been for a long time. How do they not know that? Well, because they don't listen to the show and they don't really pay attention to us like that. And I think, and I think also, I think also like, as much as people try to say radio doesn't matter, it matters, especially developed heritage brands. Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:43:50 My favorite thing, too, and this is how, this is how out of their gourd people are. people are like oh now you want to be on youtube i saw the same thing i was like i bet i was like we started youtube now they want to come to you but it was like y'all haven't been watching us on youtube this entire no no for a long time for like a really long i've been on youtube since 2005
Starting point is 00:44:18 doing smack fest you know the cope is is astounding Ebro, nobody said they invented YouTube, nor you Rosendweeb. Well, we said that you used to shit on podcasts and creators whose primary outlet of disseminating and distributing their podcasts or videos was YouTube. And because it was ancillary for you, you felt like, you guys are bums because that's your main thing. now your show is only being distributed on YouTube and you're in the same boat that's why everyone's laughing no one's saying that you couldn't come over to YouTube you guys again
Starting point is 00:45:05 I also want to pull this one thing up and this is the conversation I probably should have played the first time I remember this conversation to a T ain't nobody and it's not as great as J.A or Swiss or something that Blaze has done or any of these people people who are making mainstream music right now, then I'm going to critique you as such, and that's why I called it minor leads. Okay. The other piece of that was it started around this whole Trinidad James. Yes.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Right. This is what inspired me to like that. I've seen it all. Right. And I've also seen those individuals that were making that decide to make other things in an effort to pay a mortgage, right? Of course, yeah. So I think my opinion is it all has a place.
Starting point is 00:45:59 And sometimes the pendulum swings out, getting an engineer, whomever, and going in and recording. So the recording industry pretty much had a lock on I'm talking to a particular part I don't disagree with you Which is why we have programs that can take risks more so than More of the reason why we've become rich The way we've been becoming powered is because we've taken this
Starting point is 00:46:24 You know this cultural movement for the week Most people would get that piece of paper Which comes with for black families that might come participate in this system. Okay, okay, he's doing too much. There was a conversation that was had where he was completely shitting on podcasts, right? And his idea was that,
Starting point is 00:46:44 yo, I'm on, I'm on radio, bro. Like, you guys are putting up a podcast on, like, SoundCloud, like, bro, you know, get a fucking grip, you know? Like, that was his demeanor. I can't seem to fight. I can't seem to find it, my God. Okay, this might be it.
Starting point is 00:47:06 So listen, man. Yeah, I think this is... So the game is fucked up then? Not really. Only if you want to be mainstream, though, because I think you can create... Thank you. And by the way, I don't even have to play the full combo. You guys can go watch all these things if you care about it.
Starting point is 00:47:24 The reason why we're laughing about you when it came to YouTube is that you built a career off not only being a gatekeeper, but telling people that there was major leagues and minor leagues. And because you were the program director is one of the most important radio station, in the world when radio really, really mattered, you were basically shitting on every other platform and every other outlet saying, where are the major leagues, you guys are the minor leagues,
Starting point is 00:47:52 we're big bad radio, you guys are just YouTubers and Twitter finger guys and Instagram and bloggers. How the mighty have fallen when you lose that platform. And by the way, before you lost the platform, That platform lost the relevance compared to some of these YouTubers out here, honestly. So that's why we're clowning. It's not because you're on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:48:21 It's because if I said, yo, I'm in a different league from someone and I get kicked out the league and I now have to go play in the other league, the first thing they're going to say is, I thought you were above this. Seemingly not, right? Exactly. No Smack Fest was the original radio station on YouTube thing before podcasting on YouTube was ever a thing. We were doing radio on YouTube before podcasts were on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:48:56 But people going to make up whatever narrative they're going. Rosen Dweeb, you're even more pathetic to him. At least he had a job title that made him feel like he had the cachet. You were a bum from the get-go. You were one of the first people to the podcast scene. Yo, chat, imagine how you would feel if, I don't know what the first burger spot was, but if you had like a fire burger spot that people were like, that's some good burgers.
Starting point is 00:49:30 And then a nigga named McDonald's come through and realize that your small, You don't know how to grow and also They could do what you do 50 million times better and bring it all across the world You get ran out of business in like five years and they become McDonald's That's a trillion dollar company I think you would feel like shit That's what happened to Rosendweep He was one of the first rap podcasts one of the first rap podcasts one Juan Epstein, along with Combat Jack, was one of the first rap podcast.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Rest in peace to Combat Jack? Juan Epstein, it turned out to just be a bunch of nonsense. They never grew it. They introduced and put Joe Button in a studio that he could do his first, You know, with a podcast producer, not in a studio studio because Joe been rapping. And Joe got a podcast that makes $20 million. Their podcast probably don't make $200 in the year. You don't see it.
Starting point is 00:50:50 That's why you're a failure. You were the first to market and everybody that came after you took over the market. And 20 years later, you're a non-factor. only thing you get is the now I ain't gonna lie they were one of the first you just get the head nod and that's it that got a hurt don't make up
Starting point is 00:51:21 and you and you know what everybody's doing it for entertainment look even the way I'll know some of it's for actual pure hate like no like real in their heart anger like getting it in well no and the other thing I love too was cats really got up on Saturday morning to do a morning show about us like cats that don't know it was cats
Starting point is 00:51:42 It was up at 6 a.m. What do you mean? No, no, no, no. They did a show, two-hour shows at 6 a.m. Who did? Just like we would. Oh, you mean podcasting? Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, they was delivered.
Starting point is 00:51:54 They was ready to deliver the news. Oh, no, we got to have the news. It's crazy because we haven't mattered for so long, though. It was not a good time for that. No, I had the same thing. Yo, you bozos ain't that important. Just think about it like this, man. If you opt from the sixth grade,
Starting point is 00:52:12 die you might clear your whole week schedule nigga, you might just want to show up to his funeral just to just to hawk a loogie on that niggas casket. That's the side go It's not that you important is that When niggies don't fuck with you, they don't fuck with you. That's it Don't fuck with you.
Starting point is 00:52:29 So the one thing I will say I liked was Actually, hold on, let me just tell the story real quick. So Thursday night Obviously if you listen to the show And most people watching this have been listening We've been hinting it for a good year. And it's ramped up.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Hinting. More than hinting. Hinting. Day before I said, you might want to follow us. This could be it. I said it Friday. No, no, no. Trump, when Trump got elected this time around,
Starting point is 00:52:57 I was like, y'all, this might be it. You can go back and look at the tape. I was like, they're coming for media. They're coming for media this time. It's been heating up for a long time. So then Thursday night, I randomly get a text. Now, I'm going to indulge. for a second because, you know, again, I'm a student of the game.
Starting point is 00:53:20 I've listened to Ebro for years. And one of the things that, you know, when he did galvanize or he was able to have people take him a little bit serious, is that people felt like he was an intellectual that could, you know, that came from the business side of things. Even when he was told about major leagues and minor leagues, he would kind of explain the intricacies of how the business of radio works, right? and, you know, audience retention and, you know, how they kind of play that game along with working with labels in the center, which was, if you ask, you know,
Starting point is 00:53:52 someone like me who was coming up, it was intriguing because I'm a student of the game. But one of the things that Ebro, I think, also benefits from is that because sometimes when he's spewing shit, there isn't other intellectuals to actually have those debates or people just might not know. about the industry or whatever to really say, no, you're actually trying to spin people.
Starting point is 00:54:17 You're not really telling the exact truth here. And this is one of those things, too. Let me give you the reality about why so many podcasters and so many, some podcasters to get out of here, radio is in a really an abysmal state. And I'm going to make this quick, right? But, you know, Joe, you could clip this in itself because this is a lesson for anybody who cares about business,
Starting point is 00:54:41 but also cares about talk media and whether you're, you're broadcasting no matter what you do. I'm streaming here, but I'm broadcasting. If you're on a radio station, you're broadcasting, even if you're on a podcast. So everybody saw these inflated views pandemic, right? So I'm going to go over five years. I'm not going to go beyond that.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Because beyond that, there's been ebbs and flows and all the type of things when it comes to the industry. Everybody saw inflated views. People were sitting at home just kind of like consuming a bunch of stuff, right? which means views for everybody was up views for me is up views for everybody was up okay now you know what that did for a lot of people
Starting point is 00:55:19 is that it kind of they weren't just like barely floating or passing by they were doing good and what I mean they I mean everybody right now few things happened number one there's been a trend towards
Starting point is 00:55:37 audio consumption in terms of podcast, radio, or whatever, it hasn't declined. It just shifts between the bubbles. So the people who stop listening to radio listen to more podcasts. They don't just stop listening, right? So they just go from radio to podcasts, or they might go from podcast to streaming. Or they might just, they'll go to some medium. All right. So that's been trending downward for radio.
Starting point is 00:56:08 However, these guys, you know, they've, you know, benefited. And now I'm going to address the situation at Hot 97. For example, and we're going to talk about Charlemagne and the Breakfast Club shortly. But the Breakfast Club, and I got a shout out to Charlemagne, because I remember probably in like, let's see what year. I think it was around like 2013, 2014. I used to do like, you know, like say somebody went up to the breakfast club and they did an interview. And after they did the interview would be like a short clip of the interview.
Starting point is 00:56:41 I would take it and do my voiceover shit and kind of like, you know, give commentary on it. Also, I started up an Instagram page around 2014. And I remember they would strike. This is Clear Channel. He used to be called Clear Channel before I Heart Meena. They would strike me for using their content. I remember talking to Charlemagne and he was very progressive in how he thought. And I remember him personally talking to Clear Channel and saying, hey, why are y'all using your strikes to have people not react to our content?
Starting point is 00:57:17 We have really capitalized the virality. Remember the Ray J thing. Let them do it. By the way, Charlemagne will tell the story. At first, they didn't have a YouTube channel because at that time, who cared about a YouTube channel? they were just pumping out these interviews and they had these, it was on the site Power 105.com, Power 1051.fm.
Starting point is 00:57:45 No, Power 1051, okay, I'll just go, yeah. Well, they've now changed it to dot iHeart because, you know, whatever. But you would basically go to their website and if it was an interview, let's say with Chris-Shaw and Rock, you would have to hit the player. I don't know if y'all remember. You'd have to play it within their website. Now, what people on YouTube would do, they're like, yo, nobody wants to go to a website.
Starting point is 00:58:07 Websites are kind of becoming antiquated. They would rip the video off of the website and put it on YouTube. Clear Channel would take it off YouTube because they wanted to bring everybody to their website. Charlemagne was progressive enough to say, yo, listen, they're promoting our shit. They're not stealing it. They're promoting our shit. Fast forward a year and a half because I think, you know, companies are usually they don't like hearing
Starting point is 00:58:35 they don't understand culture they understand money so they're like how do we see the money for this they can't directly track how the show is getting more popular they're seen as you're still in their shit similar to how labels think about when streamers at first
Starting point is 00:58:49 they thought about streamers playing their music at first they used to tell Twitch we don't like that your streamers are playing our music they're stealing it they're playing the song once and they're playing it to 20,000 people 20,000 people could have played our song once and we'd have got 20,000 streams until somebody got the bright idea to say they're not stealing your music they're promoting your music so over at power 105 they allowed people to upload the
Starting point is 00:59:18 content rip it from their site upload the content to youtube eventually they got smart and i don't know how they did this but there were three breakfast club channels one with like a million next one with like 800,000 people, there was just multiple Breakfast Club channels that wasn't owned by the Breakfast Club. Somehow, they worked with YouTube and they collected all the channels. They did a fucking fusion dance. And then the ownership of that YouTube channel went to the Breakfast Club. Ever since then, they uploaded their interviews directly to YouTube. And I think YouTube probably told me, you know you can monetize with us, too.
Starting point is 01:00:00 they have been super successful in the YouTube game ever since. If you want to look at their numbers, you can go to Social Blade. Social Blade got it going on. And just to give you breakfast club. You just type in the Breakfast Club. Okay, we got to do it. It's Breakfast Club. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:26 Sorry. Breakfast Club. And again, chat, you know, you're watching the academic stream. So we got to be very, you know, meticulous with everything we're going to do. When you click on it, by the way, this is a channel that has like 6 million subscribers now, 6.02. They combine three channels to make this shit. Because before, they would delete the channels out of your stealing our shit.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Look, in the last 30 days, they've gotten 25 million views, right? Now, I don't want to give the comparison to their competitor, which is Hot 97. Hot 97 in the last 30 days. They've done 3 million views. Okay. Now, we got to talk numbers here because these guys are going to tell you that it's a Trump agenda and Israel while they're unemployed. And I'm telling you, no, the writing was on the wall, not because there was new leadership. It's because someone knew how to use a fucking calculator.
Starting point is 01:01:22 You guys were hemorrhaging money, not making money. So Breakfast Club took advantage of the fact that there was an audience that loved to watch, the video interview that they were doing at the station. They started building it very early. Okay. What did Hot 97 do with these guys? They were out of touch, out the loop, and they really had no one to kind of reinvent what they were doing
Starting point is 01:01:59 because just like how Ebro's attitude towards artists were and towards Uzi, he's the dinosaur that bets that extinction will never come, that the metal will never change. So they ignored YouTube largely for a long time. So when an artist, say AASAP Rocky would go to the breakfast club and go to Hot 97 very early on, it was way easier to find the Breakfast Club interview on YouTube rather than them. Chat, these things does matter.
Starting point is 01:02:35 They're not going to tell you this because they want to just give you the propaganda. Nah, it's because people are right wing. Okay? So cool. Remember I told you listenership is kind of going from listen to the radio to like these podcasts and I'm calling also YouTube stuff podcasts. So those are the things that's starting to happen from 20, from 2,000, 2020. So now, so that YouTube stuff was about six years before. So that's 2014. But let's get back to
Starting point is 01:03:09 2020 till current date. Podcast. Listenership is going from radio to podcasts. They didn't give a fuck about YouTube. And they're losing on potential people who could be listening to their shit, but they don't care because they think radio will last. Then after the pandemic, They make the cardinal sin that the majority of people are doing. Chad, do you know if I know a bunch of businesses, shit, I know of even courts, that ever since the pandemic, all of their court proceedings are online. The pandemic took the drive out of people. You know why?
Starting point is 01:03:55 The moment they said you could just get on Zoom, you could just be in your boxers on Zoom, on Zoom and do your show. It removes all the effort that's needed, the passion, and you know a couple of people who they're like, oh, I don't have to go into the office anymore. That's usually signs of a failing business. That's why when Elon took over X, you know what he said? All y'all motherfuckers working from home?
Starting point is 01:04:19 If y'all ain't going to report to the office, y'all got 90 days. I'm firing you. It's probably not because he just wants them in the office or wants inconvenience them. is because here's the thing. Anybody remember to work from home era? Niggins is getting the dick suck while they're at work.
Starting point is 01:04:36 They just put the thing over the, yo, they just put some tape over the fucking camera, leave the computer on, that the chat is open, they go to the store, they're doing that. They're not really working. I went on vacation with a couple of homies. He said, yo, before we go to the pool and the bar, let me plug this computer out. I got to get these hours in. that's the reality of it. So the pandemic ends, around like 2022.
Starting point is 01:05:07 And for the people who really do care about shit, they went back to work. You got to get back up in that studio. Yes, the commute is probably hell. If you ever have to commute to New York City or any big city, sometimes the commute is an hour, hour and a half. But you need that for camaraderie. You need that to really push the issue. You need that to be there that it's a different energy
Starting point is 01:05:30 when you're there and you're pushing people rather than you're home and everybody's at their own home. There is something that's called chemistry. Most of these, unless you're doing a podcast by yourself, you need to have some camaraderie. So they give up on that. Why? There's some lazy fucks.
Starting point is 01:05:53 And Rosendweeb is giving us the answer. These guys, during the pandemic, get a second job that that, That becomes their focus. When did, okay. I'm trying to figure out when he, because he became a regular. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:24 Here we go. On March, okay. On March 6th, remember, I told you. So in the pandemic, these guys are relaxing to the point they get to pick up a second gig. And remember I told you?
Starting point is 01:06:40 Chat, you know anybody who had like two, three jobs? You know why? Because all you got to do logging on your computer at the first job, and then you go work the second job, and then you still drive it like you're doing. People were mailing it in. So were these guys. He signed a contract with WWE in 2020.
Starting point is 01:06:56 He thought he was going to be the new Jim Ross. He thought he was going to be the new, what was it, Mike Cohen or whatever? I can't remember his name is. But you know those guys. That's what he thought. Ebro, this might be slightly. before pandemic.
Starting point is 01:07:22 Yeah, but he starts focusing on his other gig. He's the global editorial head of hip hop and R&B at Apple Music. They started mailing it in. They don't want to tell you this part, chat. This part doesn't make them look good. You know why I pop the shit I do and this is why when dudes like this ever talked about me, I always scoffed at them because they always ask the one rhetorical question. Why does he have an audience?
Starting point is 01:07:52 Why? Why does he have a platform? They love asking that. Why does he, and by the way, this is the number one question I hear asked on Twitter. Man, why does that, you know why? Because act got to show up every day. I can't mail it in. I can't rely on a co-host to drop 40 while I just give three assists.
Starting point is 01:08:11 I got to give it every single day. And I've built an audience over 15 years of chat niggas who expect me to give it up every single day. They want 45. They don't even want 30. they don't want 25, they want the 40 with the triple double. That's what it is. Now, as an entrepreneur, and I know there's a lot of entrepreneurs here, and I want to talk to y'all to it.
Starting point is 01:08:41 You got to drop 40. Because as an entrepreneur, and I hope you guys, if you are one, you'll get some marginal success, and success could be, you know, it's a large scale of that. I hope you get some level of success because what you'll realize is that as an entrepreneur, the more you give is the more you get. If you're the guy who likes to sleep till 2 o'clock, you'll realize you'll probably miss out on a bunch of clients. If you're a barber and you be going out and getting drunk and you wake up at 3 and you're going to show up to the barbershop at 3.
Starting point is 01:09:24 Well, a lot of people, some people love coming for for haircuts before work. Lunchtime. Basically, Early Bird gets the worm. That's not usually the same with people that work in 9 to 5. I'm not shitting on anybody that works 9 to 5 because the same applies there too. If you work the fries at McDonald's and you want to become the general manager of the region that that McDonald's is in, you got to you got to do shit better than everybody else
Starting point is 01:10:00 you got to be there first you got to show up early leave late you know they give you your responsibilities they say you got to do this extra thing you do it anyway when it's time
Starting point is 01:10:10 when it's time for a performance review your boss say you know what hey I'm gonna make you supervisor I now your supervisor you could mail it in you're getting a little higher race but you say fuck it you still the work ain't done
Starting point is 01:10:22 you still go above and beyond still show up on time, still kill it, work harder than everybody else. And those are the people who usually become the bosses. Obviously there's nepotism and shit involved sometimes, but those are the people who usually do. There are certain people, and I said this about hip-hop journalists a while ago. The reason why they all get at people like me and, let's say, Trappler Ross or whoever or, What's the Dirt or whoever? How is it that when it comes to any type of investigative journalism, it's always a YouTuber doing it.
Starting point is 01:11:11 These complex lyric breakdowns or really trying to connect the dots that people could understand music in a 5D picture is done by What's the Dirt? It's a white dude from Canada. What happened to all these hip-hop journalists that said they wrote for a living? They stopped. That took too much time. It was just not rewarded. You know why? Because they got paid on an hourly rate.
Starting point is 01:11:34 And they all think like this, including Ebro. Why am I going to go above and beyond when the paycheck is the fucking same? So you watch these guys mail it in. Why am I going to show up to the studio? The paycheck is the fucking same. Not realizing that your audience is going to kind of realize that you guys are losing steam. You're losing passion. Y'all just showing up and just kind of like,
Starting point is 01:12:06 Well, that's the next topic. Let's get through this. All right, man. It's been 40 minutes. Let's get out of here. Like, that becomes abundant. Abundantly clear on me. These guys won't tell you that.
Starting point is 01:12:20 They'll tell you it's Trump. They'll tell you it's drink not liking them. This is why they need the ayahuasca chat. In a lot of things, you get what you put in. I'll use someone else who I, I, I highly respect Stephen A. Smith. And I'm using him because I don't want you out to think that I'm shitting on people that work a 9 to 5. Saying that, oh, usually those people are lazy while entrepreneurs are not.
Starting point is 01:12:55 No, no, no, no, no. Stephen A. Smith, basically, he's a company man. Does his 9 to 5. Of course, he's still a boss outside of ESPN. But that man gets on every show and puts up 40, every time. 40, 40, 40. They want him on every show. they just give him the $100 million.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Hey bro, take the $100 million. Whatever, man. They look at him like a goddamn executive. Why? Because he outworks everybody in that building. He outworks everybody in that building. I'm only really going through this lethargic process and meticulously and surgically. Going through all of this to kind of show you who these guys are.
Starting point is 01:13:41 There's a lot more people like them. As they brag about, they say, oh, man. Why do they care about us? Do y'all know that over the history of time? It wasn't me pulling up what y'all said. Most of the time, y'all used to criticize what I said. And then y'all would say, well, why does you have a platform? Why do people like them?
Starting point is 01:14:03 They will come up with all the type of things. Ah, you know what it is? I think academics just represent the in-cells or something. Like, why do they like him? At no point in their minds. And any time you hear people say, why does that act have a platform, I want you to say to them because he's the hardest working man in media
Starting point is 01:14:21 and you guys are lazy fox. Think about this. The bigger pitch or even may no show, they're doing it once a week. I'm giving you once a day. I might even do a double up. How do you expect to win? How do you expect to win?
Starting point is 01:14:42 Oh, all right. Well, I'll see y'all next week, man. The problem here is effort. The guys we looked up to and a lot of these guys, you know, what they need to, admit. And I've always said this, don't ever be envious that someone has more than you have if you ain't working as hard. Some of these older guys in hip-hop, they're getting outworked
Starting point is 01:15:14 by poetic flaco, by Trapler Ross. Yeah, they shouldn't be that surprise when people are looking towards other places that are just simply putting in more effort. You guys were lazy. You guys announced the new show and didn't even have the audacity to drive 15 minutes to the niggins crib and meet up and sit in the same fucking room. Even when they announced a new show, they couldn't say, yo bro, let's even act like we body like,
Starting point is 01:15:54 you know, yo, bro, let's just remodel the living room and act like, yo, we about to do it right there. Like, yo, come on, let's, let's, too lazy. It's only one Uber right away. These things live like 10 minutes away from each other. do you see what I'm talking about the lack of effort? Do you see, y'all? So, and then I'll finish and then I'll let them speak.
Starting point is 01:16:28 And I think they're about against the drink part. So here's the reality. Hip-hop media is always going to be parallel to the hip-hop industry. We all know this has been a down year for hip-hop. We have gone weeks or it's been a while since we've seen, you know, we had for the first time of history, the first time in how many decades a song wasn't even in the top 40 we've we've seen how sales are like you know flatlining for some of our favorites it's been abysible watch the party die
Starting point is 01:17:07 the party has died but likewise if there's no NBA NBA media if there's no sports sports media isn't that relevant if hip hop is down you have less interest If you have less interest in hip hop, you have less interest in hip hop media. So the numbers have been tame to say the least for everybody. I dare one podcast to say their numbers is kicking up more than like 2021. Not one person will say that. So it's really just suggesting. These guys won't tell you this.
Starting point is 01:18:02 People like Ebro and Rosenberg. And I see these other guys on Twitter all the time because they're always. the ones, I'm telling you, their favorite line. How does he have a platform? How? Who's watching him? They never, ever look at themselves and say, you bro, we're mailing this shit in. We're fucking up.
Starting point is 01:18:34 And that's the problem. Let me let these guys get on to the drink thing. From the guy under the guy, who's the person we deal with. And he sends me a text and he goes, hey, do you have a few minutes tomorrow for me to run a few things by you? at 10 a.m. And I said, I texted Ebro and Laura. Oh, Griff told me he's called head of audio. Okay, I'll play along. So I hit up Ebro and Lord.
Starting point is 01:18:57 I go, did you guys, I said, they want to talk to me at 10 a and tomorrow. And Ebro, Laura both go, me too. And I'm like, wait, how do they have a meeting set with us that we don't? Ebro immediately, spidey senses kick in. He goes, oh, guys, this could be it. This could be it. And I'm like, nah, this isn't it.
Starting point is 01:19:13 Then I started doing the math, though. The history of radio is. right before the holidays. Every time. I'm working without a deal. Laura's working without a deal. How long you've been out of your deal? Five months, six months, maybe longer.
Starting point is 01:19:29 I don't even remember. It's been a back and forth. And Laura's the same thing. She's been going back and forth. I've been going back and forth. Ebro's been going back and forth, but he still had a deal. So I'm like up. And then I'm like, oh, but Ebro's deal's almost up.
Starting point is 01:19:41 And it's Christmas. We were going to be gone for three full weeks. This is a chance for them to start. doing whatever they were going to do and hope they could just ease their way into the year. He might be right. So I woke up that morning with a weird feeling on Friday and debated when we got on the air. Should we like get into it? Like radio, this is it.
Starting point is 01:20:01 Like we're doing now. Should we do this on Friday? But I was like, eh, we'd already prepared Freedom Friday. Like we, so we. I like this version better, though. I think it, I think it ends up being better. We hinted at it, moved on. I went to go get a haircut.
Starting point is 01:20:16 five minutes early. He changed it to 10.15 because I guess he called Ebro first. I don't know. I mean, I'm assuming. Yeah, because when I called you, you already knew. Oh, okay. All right. Right. But I didn't know. I didn't know if I got, I don't know. I just thought maybe we connected at a time. I didn't know what happened. Yeah, so I guess he kept you at 10. He hit me. He was like, can we do 1015? I'm like, all right. He calls me at 10.10. All he said. And this is the only reason, honestly, because I've been really thinking about doing this for a long time and it's been it's been a cloud over me and ebro and laura know this i've been the really curmudgingly one for a long time
Starting point is 01:20:50 the only thing that bugged me is the way it went down was just so classic radio i hadn't been like i just didn't expect it at this stage of my career to get the hey this is so-and-so i'm here with so-and-so from legal that's how the call started yeah hey it's so-and-so i'm here with so-and-so from legal i went okay he went um peter today's going to be your last day you've been terminated And that That's another thing I've seen some people Try to throw it in there And by the way, I can't wait till Oh, 50, I love you. 50.
Starting point is 01:21:24 Yo, 50. I ain't going to lie. I was one. I'm like, yo, you know, I got to criticize fifth for this documentary with Puff. But Fifth, I can't criticize you at all. I'm going to get to this topic.
Starting point is 01:21:36 Yo, chat. Hey, chat, I'm going to keep it up being with you. I'm going to get some liquor and some, yo, I think we're on, yo, chat. Eight hour stream? If that's too, much for you. I just let me know. Because I'm only getting started. I'm only getting started. Like, to keep it real, it's only the warmer zone right now. We ain't even really turn up the heat.
Starting point is 01:21:55 Chat, I got a lot of topics. I got a lot of shit to get to. Oh, by the way, I do want to say, no, no, people are saying this about, you know, everyday struggle. I want to let you know how everyday struggle went down when it ended. Because some people said, well, didn't you get fired? I never got fired from everyday struggle. That's the fact. There was never an episode. There was never an of everyday struggle filmed without me and there would never be one filmed without me because I was the heart and life of the show. It was obviously being proprietary, it was a, it was pushed and was the idea of Joe Budden, of course, but after he left, I try to throw it on my back, pause for as long as I could
Starting point is 01:22:42 and Complex knew that. They treated it with respect and at the end of it, they gave me an option. They said, act, we were going through contract negotiation, and they said, act, if we don't figure this out soon, we might have to wrap the show because we have to negotiate with Wayno at the same time and Ndeska. But if you're possibly not coming back or you're playing hardball with us and we can't strike a deal, the show is done. And I told them because certain things I didn't like particularly at the moment, you know, I said, all right, let's figure this out.
Starting point is 01:23:17 And I said the agreement was we were going to have six months and then the show was going to ultimately end. They said, all right, for you signing the contract. And this is how I made it in the contract. It said that after, because they had kind of told me when they were thinking about whatever, I put it in a contract because I wanted a six-month leeway that everybody could find other jobs. I said that they had to pay me whether we're on or not. So I said, if y'all cancel it, like on some, yo, you're fired shit. You got to pay me no matter what.
Starting point is 01:23:59 Why do you shout to my lawyer of meat from LA? You know what I mean? You need one of those. You know, he's, yeah. But it was written in the contract that if you cut, remember, they're telling me, if you're here, we're going to keep producing the show. show. If you're not going to be here, we're cutting a show. So I put in the deal, y'all have to pay me for at least a year and a half and then we could do options. So when they were saying, they wanted to,
Starting point is 01:24:34 they were like, you're after this year, we're going to reflect and we're going to see what it is. I said, no, no, no, you got to pay me for 18 months, no matter what happens. Because if y'all just randomly tell me, yo, this shit is over, I got to go pivot. So what they did was, they said, well, if we're going to pay academics, let's just keep producing the show. And I think they were giving out short of contracts to everybody else. Let's keep producing a show until we don't have to pay them anymore. They came to me six months before. They said, yo, I think after this six months period where we are forced to pay you, right?
Starting point is 01:25:10 And again, remember all these guys, they act like their business gurus and everything, right? But they're getting called just, yo, get the fuck on out of building, man. Get us the key card, nigga. they came to me and they said, yo, after this six months, it probably, we're probably not, we're probably not gonna, um,
Starting point is 01:25:28 keep going. How do you feel about it? Um, do you want to keep going? And I'm like, I'm okay as long as we let the staff know now. So everybody kind of knew like the vibes. And that's why we had a,
Starting point is 01:25:40 um, we had a going away show, right? Like, you wasn't going to treat us like no bum. Like, yo, yo, this show is over. No. the fuck out of here. So we had a nice going away show.
Starting point is 01:25:52 Shout to Neska. Shout to Wano. And they made sure that, you know, every, no one felt blindsided. People had opportunities. That's when Nadeca got the job with Apple. That's when Waino picked up the job as,
Starting point is 01:26:05 um, A&R for QC. And then subsequent, you know, he was already the SVP of, um, um, asylum for ANR.
Starting point is 01:26:16 And everybody picked up their jobs and everybody knew, was going to end and it was very like I can't knock complex at all and we were working on my Spotify thing already so oh I tip my hat to complex but I I tip my hat to them for dealing with me not like how you deal with a bum like Rosen dweeb and e bum okay the two roaches wording after nearly 20 joints was a crazy I was like you didn't just hit me with the I've been at the auto plant for 20 years. You didn't just. Yo, but Rosenberg,
Starting point is 01:26:53 how many times on the air, many times have we talked about, hey, y'all, we just guys with jobs, bro. Like, we're happy to be up here.
Starting point is 01:27:04 We got jobs. They own these microphones. They own the licenses. It's a classic Ebro line that they on the microphone. I'm going to do what I do. It's going to get the numbers. They can walk in here tomorrow
Starting point is 01:27:17 and decide that they want, want to do something else. And so then, so then I go, the lady jumps in. And I was like, oh, ma'am, this is very ebro. I was like, oh, ma'am, I don't know you. I don't know you. We're going to, you can talk to Dipperstein.
Starting point is 01:27:31 I'm not going to have, that's my manager. I was like, I'm not going to have a conversation with you. Exactly. I said, I'm good, but I said, but then I went, but I said to the guy, I went, but yo, my man, that's how you hit me. I went, you hit me last night with a couple of things to run by you. So wait, now, why are you not saying his name, though? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:27:48 I just like, why Bob? I don't know any of the anythings, so why bother? No one knows him anyway. So why, you know what I'm saying? That's what I have logic is in the moment. I mean, maybe shouting them out on hot all the time. Oh, they do? Well, listen, you can feel comfortable.
Starting point is 01:27:59 I don't give a shit. No, I was just wondering if you knew something I didn't know. No, I don't. I just, I just have never mentioned them. I guess, look, for me, I think it's this. My biggest pain in all of this is the reason I continue to do that job was because I felt we was doing a great service in the city of New York. That's, you know.
Starting point is 01:28:20 Yeah, bro, you're not a lot. You just wanted to check, man. Like, yo, I think it's me just like you. The reason why I feel like I was doing community cert. Man, stop it, man. Stop it, bro. Stop it. Stop.
Starting point is 01:28:33 By the way, shout to my man, Cedric, Jarius, Albert, Derek, Gregory. Thank all of y'all, man. People are running it up. Again, if you guys don't know, you guys want to shout out on the stream. Go to the academy. Dot shop. Yes, this is a slight intermission. It's going to take like five seconds.
Starting point is 01:28:49 Go to the academy. Dot shop right here and go cop the teenier citizen shirt. We're going to be talking a lot more about the teenager citizens. 50 has just dropped the ETH on them. And I'm waiting for, yo, I think Meno's on the clock. I don't know if he's in the car yet, but he should turn on the heat, make sure the fogging on the window, and he got to respond to 50 cent.
Starting point is 01:29:08 Listen, chat, if he don't respond to 50 like high respondent to me, we're going to have to have a discussion about what type of dude Mano is. Okay? But I think they say gangsters don't really pick and choose. So I'm hoping I'm going to get the response in the car. But we'll see. Anyway, let's get back to this. It's kind of depressing.
Starting point is 01:29:29 I'm still waiting for the Andre conversation. Hold on. I got in timestamps. It said it should have came already. Look, I was interviewing politicians and local politics and talking about shit that was going on in the streets and voting and shit before it was. Come on, bro. Let's get over this.
Starting point is 01:29:45 And for the white people who wanted to be a part of it. Um, I put up a tweet. Um, yeah, I think this is about it. Come on. Let me see here. Wow, DJ Vlad is still tweeting. Wait, he's still going. Yeah. He's, he's one of the ones I'm thinking about. He's, he loves the money.
Starting point is 01:30:02 Yeah, you know it's crazy. You know, these things are just like, oh, so and so, still going. Yeah, y'all know y'all shit it on Vlad at every. You know, Vlad is the most shot on person in hip-hop history. Like, when it comes to the media, everybody who is just saying, this guy's the Fed. They used to use their, platform to dissuade artists from ever fucking with Vlad. I'm not going to lie to you.
Starting point is 01:30:25 I have less of a reason to keep going. You got to let Vlad go. Bro, Vlad couldn't even get a washed up rapper 10 years ago and he had to still survive. You realize that Vlad had to make his own stars. He had to like find some niggal who was kind of washed up that would give him a chance. bro, he was interviewing niggas like, my son, and my son's a bomb. Vlad is basically the media outlet that got given, that got blackballed, and never ever, he probably complained, but he never went out of business.
Starting point is 01:31:07 He worked through it. Now it's a good look to be on Vlad, I believe, right? But all of these guys use their platform to shit on Vlad. Yo, you go over there. They used to tell artists, if you go fuck with this guy, he's the police. So they were actively trying to hopefully get Vlad out of business. What ended up happened? They got fired and Vlad is in his, he's in his peak.
Starting point is 01:31:34 Yes, if I'm glad, I'm talking shit every day. He loves money talk. Like, is that, sacademics. Oh, about Ebrose. morning show getting canceled and he threw up an axe because you know I got axed and um and I oh here we go about Ebro's said that's because I'm thinking about he's he loves the money he loves money talk um these guys in real time this this is good man let me see I forgot what somebody said something and I said that's because Drake is right wing that you said you said you said
Starting point is 01:32:20 Drake, you said, that's because Drake and Ack are both right wing. Drake leaves comment under Post about Ebro's morning show getting canceled and he threw up an axe. Yeah. I got axed. And I said, that's because
Starting point is 01:32:36 Drake is right wing and so is Sack. I called him Sack. I like that too. That's a good joke, brother. That's a good joke. We need you back on air. Go ahead. But that's I didn't think that was controversial Like is that
Starting point is 01:32:56 Sacademics sack of shit openly campaigned for Trump He went to Mar-a-Lago He was on rumble That's not he's on rumble I didn't think that was controversial Then and I and and and and Drake was on podcast now chat and again I always have to If being right wing means that I'm a free citizen that I publicly and openly supported Obama, right? And I voted for Obama.
Starting point is 01:33:25 And I also voted for Trump. I think both of them are very opposite. But I guess if I ever support a Republican, I am a right-wing guy. But if I support a Democrat, no one says left-wing, right? Okay, fine. People who were openly and supporting podcasts for people who was openly campaigning for Trump. Oh, yeah, gifting them Rolexes and, you know, rubbing up on the side. And then the cut and so, you know, the community notes, readers added context. You know, that's my favorite on X.
Starting point is 01:34:01 Drake has never openly said which side of political aisle he is on. However, there are times when he has openly supported left-wing causes. And so then everybody put up causes he supported, left-wing causes he supported. I don't, what's a left-wing cause, by the way? Charity. I mean, I think, yeah, I think he's, I'll put it this way. I think you're oversimplifying if you say Drake's right wing. Like, I get why you did it and I, you know, I do go, but yeah, like he was on the artist for ceasefire list. Like he does do things that are not in line with right wing. And he definitely didn't used to be.
Starting point is 01:34:39 If he is that, it's definitely. Well, Marjorie Taylor Green is currently on the politicians for ceasefire. Is she not right wing? It says, wow, hold on. Very good point. I'm at, do I have an air horn? Like, what are we talking about? That's fair.
Starting point is 01:34:59 That's fair. You're right. That doesn't mean that. Our sound effects are trash in this new iteration. Oh, man. Well, you know, it's early. It's, day one. It's day one.
Starting point is 01:35:06 Listen, we got. No, that's a fair point. But anyway, I just love that. But speaking of Drake, are we going to talk about these DMs? Oh, that's where you want to go already? I mean, what else? I mean, listen. Well, yeah, so I called Ebro.
Starting point is 01:35:23 I called Ebro. I thought maybe it was just me who got smoked because I was already outside my deal, et cetera. And Ebro picked up. He's like, yo, I'm like, yo, this is the first I watched these things and I realize why they're off air. There's just like, uh, uh, like, you could tell they're also mentally checked out. Like, I'm so, like, caught up in, in all the happenings that I know everything that happened. Like, these guys are just kind of like winging it.
Starting point is 01:35:49 Like, they might need a predict. producer to kind of like print like these are old niggins so they're like you here's the tweets here's the responses then it went to this platform then ax said this on stream then drake said this go through it sequentially because right now like you're kind of watching me like wait why are we watching this again god i guess you already know the news he's like they clipped you i was like yep and he was like me too ha ha and we that i felt that felt good that's all i was like oh am i here on my own this is trash And then I was like, damn, they got all of us.
Starting point is 01:36:22 And then we waited. We hit the group text. And like five minutes later, here comes Laura with the, they got me too. And then the surprise one for me was Griff. Griff, you know, I didn't know Griff was going to get clip. Why didn't clip grip grip? I was like Griff is one of the most hardworking generally. Wait, these niggas had a, I got fired group chat.
Starting point is 01:36:41 Hilarious. I need to see a screenshot for that. He like just keeps his head down. It supports everything. Supports everything shows up to summer. I didn't think that. By the way, also dumb. dumb. Are you going to try to launch a new show?
Starting point is 01:36:53 Yo, your bosses told me what y'all were doing was highway robbery. Y'all was robbing niggas without a ski mask. You didn't even have the audacity to bring a gun. Y'all were just wasting companies' time and robbing the company. Why? Lack of effort, lack of talent, and just a whole bunch of hate. That's what I was told, okay? I'll give y'all the HR exit interview.
Starting point is 01:37:21 You probably want an experienced morning show. Y'all are, that's dumb. And also, it's important. Natalie said this to me yesterday. It's very important. When I talk about my frustration, which will happen over time, I really want to make a clear delineation. You are never going to hear me talk shit about Hot 97.
Starting point is 01:37:35 That place is literally in my DNA. You will only hear me talk shit about Mediaco. The company that now owned them. I don't want to, like, Hot 97 for me will always have a positive connotation. It's so much longer. It's literally, that's, That's us. Well, and I think too, Hot 97, once again,
Starting point is 01:37:54 my commitment to Hot 97 was really based around what it meant in New York City and for the greater community, right? I say it a thousand times, man. A lot of the work that I did up there and given space so we can have the conversation. Save it, man. Come on. Community and you're trying to better people's lives and literally everything you could pot. Two decades, even though they were never the top show in their market,
Starting point is 01:38:21 were probably unprofitable the last 10 years. And the day they get let go, the first thing they do is trash the company instead of being appreciative for what the company did for them. That's why it says blood in the water, bro. They licking boots and gun for slots because if you're any of these guys, you would love to have access to the artists and the frequency and the brand. Yo, this is where Ebro is also out of touch. You could probably say that with Apple
Starting point is 01:38:54 because the artists are forced to go to Apple. These days, I could get any interview y'all could get and I could get the ones y'all can get. The top artists do not want to sit down with y'all. Let's be very clear. So when he's talking about, I don't know which platform he's talking about. Put it like this.
Starting point is 01:39:24 Guys like this are such dinosaurs, they don't realize the artists these days don't even talk to y'all the artists talk to whatever blogger or whoever they want to deal with whether it's Big Bank shit if Cardi want to say something or you know Cardi young boy Drake
Starting point is 01:39:44 they're not saying they're not telling it to Hot 97 they're telling it to their guy so when he's saying that it's access shit like oh this is Hot 97 we get no no no no that probably exists at Apple because labels force their artists because they want playlists in. So they say you got to go to Apple. Right?
Starting point is 01:40:06 But definitely not Hot 97. In some way, shape, or form. And the floodgates are open. Right. And by the way, they're going to be trying stuff up there as they should. They try new talent. You know, try, give people shots. Like, all of that should be a go, I think, no.
Starting point is 01:40:24 What do you mean to try for it? Yeah. They're not going to put a 55-year-old white cop on the air. I'm sorry. That's not, that doesn't make sense. But it might, though. Well, because they get views.
Starting point is 01:40:38 True. If it gets views, that's all that matters, man. All that matters is, isn't getting views, man. All right, I updated my post. I think this is better. All right, man.
Starting point is 01:40:54 Yo, these guys suck, bro. They fucking suck. Yo, you know, Because somebody give me the timestamp But when they talk about Drake, bro, they suck. Yo, you guys suck. Boo!
Starting point is 01:41:06 Boo! Get them off the air! They fucking suck! Boo! Yo, get up in these comments and just put tomatoes or axes. Boo! That's how great a peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. That got all...
Starting point is 01:41:26 What about? ...of engagement. It got huge engagement. Food, talk. Damn, why is it not letting me do this? This sucks. By the way, there's anyone out there who feels that way? Who doesn't feel that way? Oh, my wife's not into peanut butter and jelly. She's not. No. Divorce her right now. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I can't be trusted. Can't be trusted. She doesn't, it's not like she hates it. She just doesn't, it doesn't connect for her.
Starting point is 01:41:55 It wasn't a thing in her house. She doesn't like care. Isn't that crazy? I don't understand. I don't know. I don't know how you don't care. I hate peanut butter and never had a P. B&J. Griff. Griff can't be trusted either. No wonder they fired. All right. Now you support that. Let him go. So you guys had some, you guys had some shit back and forth. That was funny to see from 2020. There was love. It was all love in 2020. It was nice in 2020. It looks like you cleaned it up. Cleaned what up? No, like we're because you guys had already had weird moments pre-2020 for sure.
Starting point is 01:42:31 I'm here to remind you. You forget. But it not like I'm mine weren't as bad as yours. Maybe not. Maybe not. But there'd be there had been the back of forth. I never threatened to beat him up in Hebrew school. Facts. That was something I said. Now, I went, what was the quote again? It was good. It was so classic. For me? Yeah, what did you say? You say, yeah. He wouldn't have been, he was acting tough about Meek Mill,
Starting point is 01:42:52 and for some reason it bothered me. And you said what about Hebrew school? And I said, I said he wouldn't have been the toughest kid in Hebrew school or like, nah, you said it's somebody's name. Oh, I gave a name. You were like, you weren't tougher than, I don't know. Let's see. If I, if I, if I
Starting point is 01:43:08 If I Google Peter Rosamie or somebody. No, Lucas. Peter, Shlomo, I've always threw Shlomo loose. You love using Shlomo. But there was no kid named Shlomo in Hebrew school. They're talking about Hebrew school, bro. When I... Damn, I said a lot.
Starting point is 01:43:28 Oh, here it is. Oh, man. Here's the quote. What you say? This is good. I said, at Drake, wouldn't have been the toughest kid in my Hebrew school. Stop. Make hits for the club.
Starting point is 01:43:39 Don't try to be hard, please, ever. And before people start going at me, let me remind you, I don't care what Drake's stance have to say ever. Damn, I really, I don't hate Drake at all. He's super talented. He's taking hip hop to a great place, but trying to be hard and stir things up is lame. That's not good enough for the OVOOs. They come up. They're bad. They're going to bring that back up. I said, disappointed in Drake. Someone has, has you really gas, bro. Dissing hot in New York City. Meek and Philly. You're an actor, bro. You're as soft as me. I don't know I guess he reed He tried to talk shit
Starting point is 01:44:12 After the Meek thing was over But the thing you're talking about With the NAMS was I think when we talked about it on the air I think I added more sauce to it Yo Remember y'all say y'all got the access To all these artists and I don't No no I got the access
Starting point is 01:44:29 Ebro Rosen dweeb Elliot Wilson The niggas just think y'all are irrelevant He don't like y'all. He don't like the way y'all talk. You don't like y'all opinion. It's not because what you said on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:44:46 He don't like nothing about y'all. He just think y'all whack. And I could tell you the truth. This is facts. Years ago, he told me he said, act, you are the new media. This is way before I took the king. Before I took the throne, baby.
Starting point is 01:45:04 He said it. He never liked y'all. So try to, like, figure out he don't like y'all. That's it. It's not because y'all said one thing. he don't like nothing y'all say even when y'all don't talk about him he just doesn't like when y'all talk about hip-hop period
Starting point is 01:45:22 um all right let me just read the thing so now out of the blue with everything that's happened apparently someone posted about our show ending they posted a clip of ibro talking about it and drake put the axe emoji under it okay finally i think everybody gets it and it got reported everywhere because that's the error we live in
Starting point is 01:45:45 and drake knows that by the way he knows one emoji if his gets fucking posted if it's something like that well first i want to say Drake, I appreciate the promo. No, by the way. Yo, these niggas are so antiquated and so like old. They're like, we appreciate the promo.
Starting point is 01:46:03 Bro, all you're going to see is people just put a bunch of troll shit here and four episodes later, they're gone. Your dislike button is like $15,000. Like, we could probably put the... Don't they have like a website you can see? I mean, this likes.
Starting point is 01:46:21 What website can you see the dislikes. Oh, is it this? Does this work? Okay, let's see. How much? Oh, it's not even that bad. Okay.
Starting point is 01:46:34 All right. They ain't not bad. But there's just this majority of people that are trolling or just people looking to say, what the fuck is going on here? This will fade. That's why I always say to people who are like haters, they think any uptick in engagement means they're on fire. No.
Starting point is 01:46:57 People are showing up to watch you at times that they control you or you're hating on someone they also hate. That's huge. It's a big look. Even though it hasn't been the best run recently, you're still one of the biggest in the game. So we really appreciate that. Oh, look.
Starting point is 01:47:14 No, it's a big look. I'm told, I'm told while I was looking. Guess what? Hold on. Look what I'm, Whoa. Laura Stoules checks in. Our first guest on Ebro, Laura Rosenberg, is Laura.
Starting point is 01:47:27 Wow. And the fan. I'm in Travel Hill, but I just wanted a chick and say, hi, I'm going on a vacation. I need a break. Yes. We already told him that part. We told them that part. Don't get in too much trouble and save all the good stuff for later. Well, no, you saw Drake's DM to me?
Starting point is 01:47:46 I did. I did. Now, first, before we shared, do you think I handled it good? I think you did. I'm proud of you. You didn't go too crazy. It's not too bad. It's not too bad. It's not too bad.
Starting point is 01:47:58 Not too bad. Not too bad. I mean, he had to add a little spice in there. I'm okay with that. Yeah, he, no, bro really like, no, it's bad. Bro's really trying to come at me. No, I'm going to read. I'm going to read, Laura. We were about to read it right now. I'm about to share this with the people. Okay. Read it. Read it before I get kicked out. All right, here we go. Starting point is 01:48:20 That means to me Friday night into Saturday, 3.30 in the morning is. First, before we share, do you think? All right, well, you... I mean, he had to add a little spice in there. I'm okay with that. Yeah, he... No, bro really, like... No, it's bad.

Starting point is 01:48:57 Right now. I'm about to share this with the people. Okay. Read it before I get kicked out. All right, here we go. She never said nothing. I don't think. Did she ever said something bad about me?
Starting point is 01:49:08 Let me know quick. Before I spin a bath. I'll spin that. shit back. I'll see. Yeah, we got to. Let's keep the women and children out of this. Let's keep it to the men.
Starting point is 01:49:24 Feel me? Like, yo, yo, I know one of them ones? Yo, the last time I was forced to fly economy? Yo, this was me. Yo, I slept. Yo, I didn't go a lot of chat. The last time I flew economy, it was going to L.A. Was it the Dirk shit?
Starting point is 01:49:41 I don't think it was a Dirk shit. No, it wasn't a Dirk shit. Nah Why did I go to LA It was a long time ago It was like years ago And I remember Like I was like yo bro
Starting point is 01:49:51 Because obviously like really My whole like Obsession with like first class Is really because I was bigger So like My nigga I don't Yo I hate to be fighting for the armrest I'm like fighting for the armrest
Starting point is 01:50:01 With these motherfuckers Like when you're an economy Like you gotta push As soon as I used to sit down I put my arm there And then sometimes you And then they got their arm there Like y'all fighting for armrest space
Starting point is 01:50:11 It's kind of corny bro You feel me in there like you gotta play the excuse me game and the last time I had it was when I was at the back of the plane there was a fucking mutt there was a dog that was on the plane and the dog took a wet shit and it's like I'm smelling the shit I'm like your bro
Starting point is 01:50:25 what is life I hate planes too anyway I don't think that was the same time though but the last time I remember me being an economy I think I was flying in LA and bro I fell asleep on the nigger's shoulder next to me like this word too

Starting point is 01:52:09 They get the fuck, why are you, like, laying on me? type of shit. Pause. Pause. Extra pause. So out of the blue at 3.30. It said 3.30 yesterday. She seemed nice, though. Like, listen, bro, we got to keep targeted on who we don't fuck with. So, shodd you, I kind of want to put you off the screen because, like, right now, right now, like, I'm sending scud missiles. And I think you with your daughter and I want to send some positive vibes. You know what I mean? You need some ayahuasca, too, but it's okay.
Starting point is 01:52:37 Like, you know what I mean? Take it with a nice beverage. Today, Ebro's. That means to me, Friday night into Saturday, 3.30 in the morning is what I'm thinking this is. I thought, yeah, well, yesterday would be Sunday. But you saw it. You saw it. You saw it this morning. Okay, so Saturday night into Sunday, 3.30 in the morning.
Starting point is 01:52:54 Yeah. I'm going to, Laura, I'm going to mute your. Yeah, mute yourself, Laura. Just listen to us. Here we go. So, so 3.30 a.m. Saturday into Sunday. Drake DM's Ebro. Die slower, pussy.
Starting point is 01:53:09 we got some shit for you. What? Ebro replies, relax, you're salty about losing to Kendrick. You're not mad at me. Love, bro. No, it's a good response. Honestly, I think it's great.
Starting point is 01:53:25 That's a really good response. He's not mad at me. Why would you be mad at me? Mad at me for what? No, no, he's, stop. He's definitely mad at you, and he's been mad at you. He's 100% mad at him.
Starting point is 01:53:36 He's mad at me for what? What would I do? And you surpassed me. Literally. Yo, Ebro. Like, and this coming from me? Because, like, nobody's, I know you're thinking of important. Like, me and Drake definitely not be like, yo, what do you think about Ebro?
Starting point is 01:53:55 Well, you said mad at me for what? It's not the Kendrick thing. You said the nigga is a cancer. If you, like, yeah, my issue even with you is when my name came up in the media space, you always questioned why I had a. a platform or spoke down on me for the position that I worked hard to get. Yeah, of course I'm not going to be that endearing to you. Yeah, Drake doesn't like you because you called him a fucking cancer, dummy.
Starting point is 01:54:25 Like, yo, these dudes need that ayahuasca treatment, man. Like, they lack self-awareness. It's the most loose DM who's ever sent you. That's great news. No, that's, and by the way, if I were you, I would do what Drake would do. By the way, I'm, yo, yo, chat, I'm going to keep it to be with you. You know, Drake is You, Drake is telling these
Starting point is 01:54:44 These media niggins he don't fuck with The worst thing in life Like, ask Elliot Wilson what Drake told him. Drake is telling him all type of shit. Like, Drake telling he's thinking of something, Mom, like, yo, eat a dick, die, bitch. Like, you know what's crazy? I think, like, I'm never asking him.
Starting point is 01:55:02 I think he says that to them to see where their pride is. To be like, yo, after a nigga disrespects your manhood and basically see, yo, Yo, yo, you next time we're going to fold that up. We're going to, yo, wait,
Starting point is 01:55:14 I need that. What is that? Oh, where's my drop? We're going to fold that one up. Hold on, hold on. I need that. This is how Drake messaging these niggas. He's not saying,
Starting point is 01:55:26 yo, bro, I don't, I don't respect your opinion. You know what he's saying? Yo, you're a pussy, nigga. I can't wait for you. Like, he's talking to them crazy. That's, I know it. It's how Drake talking to them, man. So where?
Starting point is 01:55:51 So what, then? So what that big dog? Don't look away now. Pussy. Don't look away now. Don't look away now. Don't get shy now. We'll fold that up right now.
Starting point is 01:56:03 Nerd. Yo, Jake be talking crazy these things. But I think he'd be talking crazy to them. And I know something I'm like, yo, but like, yo, why is he trying to act up? All right, whatever. I think he's talking to them like that because he knows at, certain point, there's, there's like a lack of, like, self-respect, right? He could say whatever to them, and they're still going to, like, they're just going to
Starting point is 01:56:37 passively hate on him, but they're still going to cover him. They're going to talk about it every day because Drake pays your bills. Like, put it like this. Think about what Saigon said, Ebro did. Ebro said, we're not playing you or talking about you for a year. You got a year band. You, Drake is calling you pussy telling you to die, nigger And you ain't putting a year ban on him
Starting point is 01:57:04 You know why? You can't You gotta pay the bills So that's why he talked to you like that He talked to you like that Because he think he can't He talked to you like that Because he think he can Not even think he can
Starting point is 01:57:15 He can! You still gonna talk about him every day Yeah, you might hate But you still on his dick Stop it Stop it, man Yeah, yeah, blessings Blessings. Because of the snow.
Starting point is 01:57:56 I'm not watching this. My bed. Sue. Yo, I can't wait to get to this 50 topic. Feels like a threat. Oh, shit. Feels like a threat. Yo, die.
Starting point is 01:58:06 No, it's a good response. Honestly, I think it's great. That's a really good response. He's not mad at me. Why would you be mad at me? Mad at me for what? No, no. He's, stop.
Starting point is 01:58:14 He's definitely mad at you. And he's been mad at you. He's a hundred percent mad at you. Why would he send that? He's mad at me for what? What did I do? And you surpassed me? Literally it's the most loose DM who's ever sent you. That's great. No, that's that's and by the way, if I were you, I would do what Drake would do.
Starting point is 01:58:31 Sue feels like a threat. Oh shit feels like a threat. Yo, die. It feels like a threat. He said die and then we got some shit for you. I'm going to court like you, Trissy. I'm going to court. Yo, Rosenberg, you got lawyers in your family. You're Jewish. You got for me. We got plenty. Who you need? Line them up. Who wants. Yo, I mean, look. Look, I lost one of my jobs, though, so I need that like. No, no, you did great. Well, no, how about this? They only get paid on the win. We need someone who only gets paid on the win. How much I got to give them, though?
Starting point is 01:59:02 Like 50% is that. It's probably pretty high for that, like 30, 40%? It might be, but it's worth it. But it's money I wasn't expecting, so I'm down. You could get a few million right now. Die slower pussy. No, it's crazy. It's crazy.
Starting point is 01:59:15 No, by the way, bro, what's wrong with you? And that goes right back to the things I was saying in 2016. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. I know. I'm not saying you don't know hard people, but stop it. You are not that. Stop. And what do you have for me? Like, what? What do you have? That's what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:59:31 Yo, we'll fold that up right now. What's the special delivery? Yeah. What do you have for him? That's the threat. Listen, I love you. I got to go. Love you. Bye, Lord. Travel safe. Check in with us. We're going to do. Listen, we got a show to do stuff. I'm, uh, Sue.
Starting point is 01:59:49 It's unfortunate that Drake. It's unfortunate. that Drake decided to take that path. Let me add context. The thing that sent him over the top that put him into I hate his guts territory, like a die slow pussy when you're
Starting point is 02:00:06 drunk at night. He was up sipping Cavazier late at night vibes. You think you know you think Drake sips Cavazier. Yeah, it feels like in a big you think he's a Cavatina. Doesn't he have his own alcohol? Whatever it is he's sipping late at night. But the thing that sent him there
Starting point is 02:00:21 is the poison thing. Drake is a sickness. Drake is a, sorry, sorry, Drake is a sickness. And even whenever you tried to explain it further, it never got that much better sounding and the headline was only Drake's a sickness. Well, yeah, because his fans are sick
Starting point is 02:00:38 off of his brain. They're sick. They're out of their minds. Sick. He is a sickness. So they're out of their minds. I think that that sent him into like some other level with,
Starting point is 02:00:51 you. No, the hyper-fandom sickness. When did his fans get this way? It's only the battle that did this, right? They weren't like this. They're worse than Barbes, bro. They're like man-barbs. They're Marbs. We should start calling Nah, let me tell you this. I'm gonna keep you to be. Yeah, you see what you got good niggas? Like, you see Drake fans? Drake fans is like, I don't even call him fans. People who like Drake, I like people who like me. A lot of times people who like Drake, like sometimes we'll even laugh at Drake by certain shit.
Starting point is 02:01:27 Just like y'all laugh at me about certain shit. Y'all be getting on me, it's cool. It's not until it's some other niggas. When you see real hate, that's when the fans really like, wait, hold on now. Now, hold on. Now, cut this out. Now, we was joking without God, but wait, y'all trying to really get them out to paint?
Starting point is 02:01:45 Fuck y'all niggis then. Yes. Like, you can't compare them. that to Barb's because Barbes are always on that. Drake fans, for the most part, are very chill. They're not weaponized against people. No, they don't do that. You put them in that energy when you start making comments
Starting point is 02:02:06 that it seems that you're trying to erase the contribution or erase the person from hip-hop, and that's their favorite person. Yes, they're going to defend their guy. on the Marbs because they are the fucking worst these people. They're insane. They didn't. Yo, I used to think Drake fans
Starting point is 02:02:26 were just hot girls. Like my wife, your wife, that's what Drake fans were. Is it the last wife, the one that got fought by the black dude or the new one? They become virgins who just sit around like he's the greatest. We hate Kendrick. When did that? I don't know, bro. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:02:46 I don't know. I really want to have somebody come on one day. and talk about the hyper-fandom. Somebody who actually works in the kind of bot business. Like somebody who has done this, if you're out there, please reach out to us. Like what do you want to understand? Info at ebro laura Rosenberg.com.
Starting point is 02:03:13 Oh, do we have that? Is it an actual address? We'll make it. It's happening right now. Okay. Info at ebro laura rosembourg.com. I really want to understand because it, so it was articulated to me that the way it works is
Starting point is 02:03:30 marketing budgets allocate dollars. Oh, it's a boring faction. So I don't see a pop up on my page. Fuck you. I get people like you. I mean, they think that we, they really think we hate Drake, too. They think, like, yo, I saw the funniest comment I've ever seen.
Starting point is 02:03:54 Joe Button went on Logan Paul's podcast. And Logan Paul's co-host said, so, so who do you think actually won the Drake Kendrick battle? And the look on Joe's face is exactly how I felt. I'm like, what do you mean actually? There's only, Drake was like, I think, I think what everyone thinks. What? Like, what are we? I can't understand.
Starting point is 02:04:17 Jake Paul's co-host No Logan Paul's Or whoever Yeah Is All right I can't
Starting point is 02:04:25 Drake it always We don't want Edward All right Supposed he throws Some shots At me at the end of this
Starting point is 02:04:30 Let me hear Who might Hold you accountable For the thing That's right That hipops Actually about
Starting point is 02:04:35 And part of And by the way All of us Fuck up That's okay Of course Iceman I'm
Starting point is 02:04:42 Because he don't It's about Kendrick no more He can't Want it to be About Kendrick More He can't
Starting point is 02:04:46 There's a You see, these type of losers, when they get flamed, right? When they get flamed, they try to throw Kendrick to defend him. Oh, nah. It's because he can't know, nigga, he hasn't mentioned Kendrick. And if these guys were honest, when Ebro showed the messages, Ebro, he hasn't talked to you since 2020. Him and Kendrick battled in 2024.
Starting point is 02:05:13 He didn't fuck with you since then. he never liked you thought your opinions are stupid he only fuck with you just because like you were literally a program director and at one time radio used to matter he never liked you still didn't he lose the lawsuit
Starting point is 02:05:32 now he's bringing it back like he can't want that to still be the discussion he's got to change the discussion I think that's probably true but but but just to that point he's here for the he's here for hip hop yes and I want to commend Drake
Starting point is 02:05:46 because Drake because Drake didn't have to battle, Kendry. No, like there's a part of, there's a part of saluting him for that, man. He's never. All right, man. Doing this. Why are y'all acting like Drake
Starting point is 02:05:57 ain't going to drop fire? Why are people doing that? On a daily basis for the morning show. He, this is the last part, I think, was more committed to real late than he was to the morning show. The morning show was just how you got your money. Right, right.
Starting point is 02:06:13 But, well, and then it became just to hand. The morning show paid the bills. Paid the bills, and then it was like, while I get to hang out with my friends. Yo. I don't like, you know why this shit is embarrassing? Batman couldn't beat this info out of me.
Starting point is 02:06:30 If you're trying to appeal to the culture to say, yo, we shouldn't have got fired. Why would you say, oh, the morning show that I got fired because of I was just there to hang out with my friends? That was that, that's why I stayed for the last year because I've been so grossed out and I, I feel like Hot 97's the giving tree and it's being stripped down to nothing. And I'm really upset.
Starting point is 02:06:59 But that's what, listen, I told everyone, that's what Venture Capital does. Right. It's the nature of it. But I hate it. It grosses me out so much. But my wife, her attitude was, yo, you wake up, you go in the other room, you talk to your friends. And then it's over at 9 o'clock. And they pay you.
Starting point is 02:07:22 Let's just keep making the money. Because, like, I'm, you know, these guys are admitting they mailed it in. It's crazy. You're like, why would you, like, not only does it look bad and make it seem like media co-did the best decision ever by firing you, if there was any potential suitors who would say, oh, Rosen Dweeb is now a free agent. Why would they hire you? You're admitting that you and your wife was laughing at Hot 97.
Starting point is 02:07:53 Same. Yo. I'm just hanging with my friends for like a couple hours and I get free cash. Of course you're going to get fired. Me making a stance wasn't going to save the station at this point. Like there's no, they've made the decision on how they're doing it. I now might as well just hang out with my friends and take money from these people until my time is done and get to talk and get to talk to the audience who we will, who no matter how many people we gain, no matter how well we do, we're going to lose some of them.
Starting point is 02:08:23 There are some people we're going to lose. Oh, 1,000 percent. There's no way around it. And so like, well, I think the truth, because radio in itself, most of the people tuning in, they're not, as we call in radio, P1s. No, P1s. Right.
Starting point is 02:08:39 They might, we might be, no, that's the wrong phrase. They are P1s. We might have been their first choice when they're listening to the radio. Right. But how much time are they spending with the radio? How much time do they actually spend, which is why radio stations are so repetitive. is because even your P-1s, people who choose you first, they might have 20 minutes for you a day.
Starting point is 02:09:01 That's, and that's pretty good. Right. And that's pretty good. That is fucking phenomenal. Facts. Oh, my God. I don't know what people want multicultural inclusivity. And we're going to find out because we're still going to deliver on that.
Starting point is 02:09:21 Second. Notice to flex. I just didn't listen. So there's a lot of things happening behind the scenes that I'm not sure I should divulge in public as of yet Then don't it normally I would say fuck it do it but in this case No, no, no, I got to chill I'm a chill for a little bit In this case it's an actual chill situation By the way, I still got to have conversations because I've been my deal was up
Starting point is 02:09:43 But that did doesn't mean exactly what I thought it meant So I got to call my union rep you know what I mean? Oh shit, you know we got to have the you all the unions on The union's been hyper aware that things have been unsavory seeming to them for a while. They're... Oh, they're trying to sue. Nah, I mean, y'all needs got fired, man. Get the fuck out of here. They're aware.
Starting point is 02:10:05 You know, our studio... Wait, you got to see y'all... It's a union situation of foot. Well, there has to be. Anytime a place just... Yo, why do we have a union? The reason we have a union is because if someone picks up the phone and calls you and goes, hey, today was your last day, you're fired.
Starting point is 02:10:20 That's what the union's for. Are you sure? Was that okay? What do you own me? We got to talk through this. Sag after, baby. We protect the, they protect the broadcasters and actors and everybody who performs in this country.
Starting point is 02:10:30 So, no, we got to have conversations. But no, overall, I'm not sad. And I appreciated the people who reached out. Like, see, people are responding to fired. People are responding to terminated. People are responding to you losing something. Or that thing that you lost was the place where they interacted with you the most.
Starting point is 02:10:50 And by the way, even though that's a lie because they didn't. It's just that's the way. they were bitter about no that's the one they were bitter about because no matter how much that the that the acts and the vlads will tell you that were losers because we didn't adapt to streaming right away when they were kids no but they didn't dream to be streamers they didn't dream to be streamers they dreamt to be on hot 97 and there and then they kill us that we got to be on hot 97 congrats it worked out for you why are you worried that we were on hot 97 well and we have a cool
Starting point is 02:11:23 headline too, which is the longest running morning show in the history of that radio station. Every day. All right. That's a lot of cold, chat. Okay. All right. Is that the end of it? I'm trying to think.
Starting point is 02:11:38 It might be. So Drake DMs them, clowning the shit out of them. Oh. Chat. This one took me out. Chat. Batman couldn't beat this info out of me. Trust me.
Starting point is 02:12:03 Laura Stiles When Basically asked why the hell were y'all not going into the studio Why not? Why weren't you not going into the studio? To record This show Maybe that's why y'all got fired She
Starting point is 02:12:22 Gave a reason that I don't think we all expected Now some nigga tweeted out It shit came to an end Somebody said well they were doing it the show virtually for the last five years, they were mailing it in, just like I said. What was the expectation? Laura Stiles says, mailing it in, it was live.
Starting point is 02:12:49 We just didn't want to go into a studio with roaches and homeless people sleeping in the hallways. God damn. Now, they're basically saying that the studio was filled with roaches, homeless people, all type of stuff. Complex did some more diggiveness according to New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Over the last two years, there's been no violations or complaints at Hot 97, current building, which means no one has complained about roaches or an abnormal amount of homeless people sleeping in the hallways or whatever. However, a transitional housing shelter is a block away from the studio.
Starting point is 02:13:37 Wow. Holy shit. So it's roaches and rats that's at the studio. Now, chat, I know y'all might be like, ask, why are you dragging it so much? I have to. I got to because when they realize I stream from home, they clowned me from streaming from my mama's basement. all the while all these grown-ass motherfuckers was bringing roaches and rats and rodents and all type of, you know, ants to the studio that the infestation started attracted a bunch of homeless people and then they claimed they couldn't go back in to do their show.
Starting point is 02:14:20 Sad, okay? I think it's time we get to, should we get to 50? I think it's almost time. Okay. Should we get to the 50th thing? No, there was one more thing. What was it? Was it?
Starting point is 02:15:10 Hold on. Give me one second. Give me one second. I was going to make sure I got all my ducks in a row. I want to make sure I got all my ducks in a row. Give it a second. Is it this? No.
Starting point is 02:15:41 So, Funk Flex chimed in. Oh, my God. This is a gift that keeps on giving, man. Shout to Flex who took over the morning slot, and he chimed in. So after they fired Ebro, Rosen dweeb, from the morning on Hot 97, Funkflex took over.
Starting point is 02:16:01 And Funkflex was up there causing a storm. First of all, he addressed Drake. And he said to Drake, Drake, that axi emoji you sent to Ebro, I know it's not only for him. Check this out. I know Drake don't like me. But Drake, listen, we saw that little slick shot you took.
Starting point is 02:16:20 See, but I know that wasn't just an Ebo, that was at Hot 97, because we comment on you a lot. And we love you, baby. Matter of fact, no, I don't. Drake should be wondering about Kendrick and his next album. And I say that politely, Drake, because listen, you're a veteran just like all of us. It's not that easy anymore. Now, these young rappers is touching you. Kendrick definitely touched you up, or should I say he definitely grinded your gear.
Starting point is 02:16:48 Hey, yo. I know Drake don't like me. Okay. Now, that's kind of interesting because, like, about a couple months ago, Flex looked like he was backing Drake up. He said, Drake's 100% right. National play per song. Remember when Drake accused UMG, but also Iheart media of, you know,
Starting point is 02:17:15 some payola. And if you don't know, payola in a radio context would be taking money to play songs. on air. Flex has said, in Flex works and radio, Drake is right. National play per song. Drake don't pay for play.
Starting point is 02:17:33 But for pop, it's $350,000 for a campaign for a song. For urban radio, it's $250,000. For a mix show, it's $100,000. For a local mix show director, it's $40,000. For a local DJ,
Starting point is 02:17:48 it's $3,000 to $5,000 per song. and DJs are on the radios five times a week. So it gives you what, it pretty much gives you the price list of if you wanted to get radio play for a song and whatever your budget is would determine who you would go to. It says this is why independent artists don't rise to the top. Keep in mind, this is a guy who is one of the biggest radio DJs saying exactly this.
Starting point is 02:18:16 He says, oh, you artists, no, I never take a dime from you, your manager, or your labels, the bomb. has no price. Okay. Interesting. Now, I guess we could transition out of this for a little bit. And we should transition into, we're going to still stay on Funk Flex because this was his first day doing morning radio. I don't know how he's going to do this because he usually DJs by night.
Starting point is 02:19:21 That's why him working a late shift, which is, you know, it used to be 7 o'clock, They moved them up to like five, it should be seven or eight. Now they moved them up to like 4 p.m., which is like the afternoon drive. Now we found out today or yesterday, he did the morning slot and he did the afternoon slot. So if he has to do those slots and go to the club, that's going to be completely tough. However, he was on the air and while on the air, I'm going to allow flex is one of those. and, you know, as their cleaning house at Hot 97, he's one of the guys who gives it up really well.
Starting point is 02:19:59 Like Flex, Flex is entertaining. Could never take nothing away from him. So he was on today, and he made a diabolical claim. He said, yo, in reality, because he started talking about Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons, which we're going to talk about as well. But he made the claim that baby was fucking.
Starting point is 02:20:23 of him was fucking i'm her which is russell simmons ex-wife and a lot of people thought it was the baby but this is how it came up came across watch this and then the baby the baby was beating the the baby was beating that get that the baby was beating that get that New York. What do you need? Back in the Fablane, her reality show is out. We get to see Kamara. She's a bird, continue the story.
Starting point is 02:21:08 Now, what? Okay, so they're talking about Kimmore Lisa and basically says, yo, a baby. You know, you can't say that. What's her name is her name? This Kilmora Lisa. It wrestles your wife, right? Back to the family, uh-huh, but back to the fablay. And the baby was beating that.
Starting point is 02:21:26 beating that. Oh, he did say the baby. Okay. Now, the baby actually responded and said, yo, bro, why did you say some dumb shit like that? That's not true.
Starting point is 02:21:39 Hey, I just seen my face and my name attached to some shit. Out of respect for the woman. You know what I'm saying? Who, what goddamn they're speaking on? I felt the need to come clear
Starting point is 02:21:59 that shit up. That shit is. thousand percent false oh gee i don't know what the head you got going on or what what even made you got them feel comfortable enough to god damn throw my name out there so loosely like that but that shit ain't true i'm looking forward to seeing you clear that up i'm disappointed i'm disappointed i'm looking forward to you clearing that up uh flays but yeah yeah that ain't that ain't that ain't true without i ain't got no no no no no t no nobody right now i ain't got nothing of good music Now, the reality behind him saying that is that Flex actually got it wrong.
Starting point is 02:22:38 And he corrected it. He said, yo, I meant Birdman. That's the baby I'm talking about. Not the baby. Which that's the interesting part. Apparently Birdman, I thought Birdman was with Tony Braxton. Don't let me find out Birdman out here cracking shit. He cracking Russell.
Starting point is 02:23:03 Simmons old girl. Kimmoor Lee Simmons? He cracking Tony Braxton? Oh, nah, Birdman going crazy out here, huh? Now, I guess naturally, we got to go into that, you know, that drama. And then we're going to get to the 50 shit. Don't worry about it. Okay, so here we go.
Starting point is 02:23:28 Let's actually unpack that drama a bit. Don't know exactly where it started, but it appears. Here's that. So Kimora Lee Simmons, actually, what did she do? Did she do a podcast or something? But she did come out and say that her kids doesn't have a relationship with their father. Now, all of us thought that Russell Simmons was in Bali trying to duck some sex charges and not trying to get done like Diddy. Let me see if we could find, let's see if we can find that Russell Wilson.
Starting point is 02:24:08 No, that Russell Wilson. Kimmore Lee Simmons. Okay. So I guess this is what, oh, my God. Let me find it on Twitter. I don't know why Twitter is a better search thing than YouTube. Okay. 65-year-old man.
Starting point is 02:24:46 Are you going to talk about it on the show? It was a big deal with the 65-year-old man. Are you going to talk about it on the show? It was a big deal. So Kim Mora Lee Simmons did an interview, right? And part of the interview, she's talking about her, even her daughter, Kimora Lee Simmons' daughter, 55-year-old man. And basically her daughter is dating like this old, like, billionaire. This is her daughter, and this is their daughter, actually.
Starting point is 02:25:11 And she's dating, like, this billionaire guy. But, like, the daughter is 21, and the nigger is 65, right? So the daughter 21, this is Russell Simmons' daughter and Kimora Lee Simmons's daughter. I think it's Ioki or something like that. And the guy she's dating is 65. There's like a 40-year-old difference, right? 43, actually. She gets questioned about it on a podcast and she says this.
Starting point is 02:25:40 For pop culture, by the way. Like it really exploded. I feel like everyone saw it. Everyone saw it. Why, though? Why is it a big deal, though? Because if you look back, okay, well, first of all. Why is this stunning young?
Starting point is 02:25:52 hot, beautiful. You see that all the time. I think you don't count these these ages. I don't think we count these ages of people of what they really are. I mean, it's not like she was seen with like Leonardo DiCaprio, you know what I mean? It was like a 65 year old
Starting point is 02:26:06 like, isn't that the same? As like Leo. He's going to say, I am not 65 and I don't look like that. You're right. I'm not saying that about Leo. I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. But I just meant older man. To me, that's the shock of it all. Was this when she was traveling during your filming? No. Oh, it wasn't
Starting point is 02:26:22 same no I think that was like a couple years ago already I thought that was a while ago that was 24 like April 20 24 okay I know this guy but I didn't know this guy in that capacity like with my kid or that you were even dating my kid or even try know this guy growing up myself he's a restaurateur right I I I don't know you know I don't want to get into troubles legally but I think I think his reputation probably precedes him is that okay to say legally I think the reputation it's like Like, Yoki, I didn't even know this was a thing. I didn't even know this was a thing.
Starting point is 02:26:55 I found out when the world found out. So that was what was so shocking. And you can't say as a mom and I've learned all these crazy things. You can't give the, I told you so right now. You can't give the, what the hell are you doing right now? You can't give all those things right now that you want to. Yeah, it was a lot. It was a lot for her.
Starting point is 02:27:11 Yeah. But I do think in general of those kind of things, I think I feel like, and having gone through not exactly the same, but. Can we get her topics? I want to see Kim Morley Simmons says she doesn't have a relationship with her kid's father. Guys are weird. Okay.
Starting point is 02:27:37 Anyway. So she says, so it looked like People Magazine published it. And then now we see Russell Simmons in the comment section. And he says, I gave you $50,000 a month for 20 years. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:27:54 That is crazy. 50,000 a year. No, no, 50,000 a month for 20 years. 50,000 a month is $6 million a year. Right? Am I doing the math? 50,000 a month is $6 million a year, $6 million a year for 20 years is literally $180 million. Wow.
Starting point is 02:28:26 He said, I was your best and only friend. I'm the godfather to your other three kids until one day you stole my stock. I've been fighting for my kid's love and my bread ever since. You threatened that if I sues you, I would never speak to my kids again. Wow. Damn. Y'all be thinking like niggins like Travis Hunter got it bad. Like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 02:28:59 So let me just pull this up, sorry. Where is that? Where is that? I thought there was more shit. Okay, cool. He says, you threaten, if I sued you, I would never speak to my kids again. There's two sides to every story. Then he says, my girls are grown women.
Starting point is 02:29:26 You know these are lies. And by the way, this is Kimor-Leath Simmons now responding. You know these are lies. Why are you typing from thousands of miles away in a non-extradition country? go negotiate and answer your accusers. Oh shit. Wow. Yo, this is why you can't argue with a chick you used to fuck, bro.
Starting point is 02:29:46 Because, like, you know, we've all speculated. Why is he in Bali? Is he, like, hiding from potential legal situations with past accusations? Obviously, he got ousted of. You know, he had this, I forgot what the name of the country? company was if somebody knows it just say in the chat but he sold the company and kind of liquidated a lot of shit and he left the country and he's been like sitting indian style in Bali for the longest and a lot of people thought once we were going through the me too movement like of years ago and but even now where ditty's kind of getting crucified we're like what about this guy and um i felt like people have backed well not let me not speak for anyone but myself i kind of backed off those you know, those assumptions, because I've seen him come back to United States. Like, I've literally seen Russell Wilson.
Starting point is 02:30:43 What I can be going to Russell Wilson? Russell Simmons back in United States. And I'm like, all right, if it's one of those situations, like, right, look, he got spotted. Wasn't even a 10. Look. Hey, man, this is Russell. How are you feeling, sir? Can I give you some water?
Starting point is 02:31:01 Now, here's the thing. if he was really wanted by the police, if he's in a non-extradition country, as soon as he pulls up via plane to the United States, he would pick him up at the airport. So clearly maybe they are investigating him, but he's been in Bali for a while. It don't look like there's any federal charges against him,
Starting point is 02:31:24 but maybe there are lawsuits that were probably, you know, either pending, but we haven't heard a bunch of people, that were you know we didn't hear some accusations we did absolutely we did but we're not hearing like a long list of people saying hey yo this guy left the country and we can't serve him so we've been just kind of wondering what's going on and now of course his ex-wife basically just kick the kick the lid off the can so you know these are lies right why are you typing from thousand of miles away to non-extraditioned country go negotiate and answer your accusers
Starting point is 02:32:02 Holy shit. She went for the juggler. I don't think, I don't think, I don't think, Russell Simmons going to respond after that. Yeah, I think that's grand opening, grand closing. Yeah. Yeah. You want to buy something?
Starting point is 02:32:19 Yeah, I don't want to give me a shit, maybe. Yeah. Yeah, sir. That's what I need. Yeah, sir. The former owner. That's a lot. Many ones?
Starting point is 02:32:30 Just one? Thank you. Thank you, sir. You have a good one. Let me get a picture. Let me get a picture. What's going on? This is Russell Simmons right.
Starting point is 02:32:39 Oh, you're going to have to pay me for this, buddy. Okay. Morally, recently was talking about her relationships with her exes and slash only friend again. Like child. Yeah, I'm going to be honest with you. Yo, Russell, respectfully, bro. Respectfully.
Starting point is 02:32:57 Let me tell you this. And I know you old as hell and you probably have done a lot of dirt. I don't know why you moved to. Bali but it is kind of if we're going to take her at face value or any type of serious but also inquiring minds of thought maybe you're running from something or trying to invade something if if you are in what we think is a glass house yes I'm not gonna lie you probably thought you were cooking when you mentioned yo check this out um you posted that you gave her 50,000 for
Starting point is 02:33:35 or 50,000 a month for 20 years. Not going to lie, that's an exorbitant amount of money. But if she got any secrets for you that could expose you to letting other people know that you're a target for lawsuits, remember what happened to Diddy. Whether you are guilty or not, once blood is in the water and everybody is running to sue, at that point, if the federal authorities aren't that interested, it only takes one. And it just takes one to be the Cassie of the bunch. And also, here's the thing. You never want your baby mama to be one of the people who might, you know, shit. The Fizz might have been sitting around waiting like, yo, all right, we have a bunch of randoms who are saying these things about him.
Starting point is 02:34:24 It would hit harder and we could probably get some charges if we get somebody who really knows him and possibly has some celebrity cachet as well to kind of testify to some of these things he may have done. What am I trying to say? I don't know what he did and what he did not do. But he need to leave her alone. Leave her alone. I know he sold a rush card, but take that rush card and whatever country he's at now, book another trip to another country.
Starting point is 02:34:56 Because when an ex start talking about you like that, it don't even matter if she's telling the truth or not, she could just jam you up. You know what I'm saying? But wow, it's kind of crazy. this jump out the woodworks Kimmore-A-Lis Why is Kimmer-Lie Simmons doing interviews though?
Starting point is 02:35:24 That's what I'm trying to figure out. Oh, she did a podcast called... Camor-Lie Simmons is here, the OG Reality TV Businesswoman. Oh, this is it right here. Yeah, I do. And you're doing this all on your own, like the fathers of the children are not involved? It's so weird because I used to...
Starting point is 02:35:42 Yeah, it used to be a little different. They're not involved. I'm alone. There's no co-parent. No, what I was thinking about for you, that your kids are older. So like even because right, somebody on the tree could be like she, okay, she has a thousand nannies, right? Like that's what people like to say. But like I have a thousand. But when as as a mom, I know like even if I have a nanny like yes, she can help me with my one and a half year. But my five year old like wants to be around.
Starting point is 02:36:09 Sure. Their parents. So I was thinking about you having all these children. So even if you have help like I'm sure your 10 year old wants to be with you, you know. So it's all on you. And it's just the demands and it's everything that goes on. How many kids is, how many children does Russell Simmons have with Kim Mora Lee? Oh, they only have two.
Starting point is 02:36:36 This is the two daughters, 23 and 25. They're grown. They ain't a co-parenting at that point. You don't have to co-parent with a 25 and 23-year-old. She has, how many kids is she has? How many kids does she have? She has looked like five. One is adopted.
Starting point is 02:37:05 And like I've been here, for example, in New York for the show and everything coming out. And Kenzo was in a car accident. And it was like his first car accident. And it's been just kind of crazy. Yes, he's okay. Thank you. He's okay. But his car was like totaled. I don't think.
Starting point is 02:37:21 It's not his fault. But it was a lot. And so it's, you know, scary. And I wasn't there. And I could kind of feel it. An emotion I could feel in my stomach what he was feeling and they're asking questions and I was like he doesn't feel well. He can't even, I can just hear it and how he's talking and he doesn't feel well.
Starting point is 02:37:36 So I think parenting is always a lot and you do have like a $10 data rate dose as you as a protein or and All right, yo, Russell Simmons. Let me tell you this man.
Starting point is 02:37:53 Get into an online spat with an ex is just not a good idea. Most, most of the times, just like when you first got with them, you got more to losing them. And it doesn't matter if what they're saying is accurate. All they got to do is put blood in the water and start people to talk.
Starting point is 02:38:12 Because I'm not going to lie, I think Russell Simmons, people are starting to forget. You know, I was just watching, I was actually watching brilliant idiots with Charlemagne and Schultz. They were talking about, they were comparing Russell Simmons to Diddy, and they were like, yo, yo, yo, yeah, there are some stories about him,
Starting point is 02:38:30 but like he moved a little bit different and he probably never got to that point that Diddy got to. Why? Because Diddy's a showman and he had all this power. He's a great talker. He knew how to like kind of wow the crowd. He had the pizzazz, so to speak. And you know, when it came to Russell, like he had a list, he wasn't that flashy or whatever, but he was one of those people that had a lot of power too. Like if you think about historically where his influence was and, you know, how if you were coming in the music business, you probably needed his assistance or a blessing. And they were basically just saying,
Starting point is 02:39:03 yo, what is smart about him is that he left the country and he laid low. And as soon as this popped up, I'm like, oh, shit, fuck all that laying low shit, huh? Hmm,
Starting point is 02:39:16 all right. So, yeah, if I'm Russell Simmons, I do not mention this at all. Hopefully goes away. If not, we'll see.
Starting point is 02:39:26 All right. Anyway, Chad, I couldn't wait to get to this. 50 cent big homie 50 okay oh shit 50's oh yes 50 is commenting on um the podcast of the four rappers who are in an abysmal state right now and i'm talking about davis meno fabulous and of course Jim Jones they apparently commented on 50 doing a documentary about diddy and 50 has made it clear like yo you niggas can't talk about me we don't have 50 gets so 50 first posted this
Starting point is 02:40:09 posted a definition or AI definition of squatters and then he says well let's read the definition first squatters are individuals who occupy a property without legal title permission or lease often in a vacant or abandoned buildings different from trespassers by intending to reside their long term while squatting is illegal and he kind of erase the rest then his personal caption was these guys or squatters. They owe a quarter million hours for the space they're filming their podcast. These bums are trying to win the best dressed award but cannot pay their bills. When you scroll over, he's talking about the less rap about a podcast where, you know,
Starting point is 02:40:49 I notoriously said this is the teenager citizen gang. By the way, if you guys don't know, the academy.combe. The academy.com. Go copy your teenager citizen merch. Yes, you want to feel like a old head and a Y in at the same. time but you need the proper drip for it this is what you need right here go copy it I'll give a shout out if you do it during the stream anyway he posts the picture of these guys and again you know what so funny 50's saying the same thing I'm saying these guys are dressing like they want to be 19 year olds that's what he's saying to them and 50s describes it well these these bums are trying to win a best
Starting point is 02:41:29 dressed award they can't pay their bills then he he posts He says Jim Jones loses Jersey home in a foreclosure, a mist. It said it was sold for 100 bucks. Oh my God. Then what is this right here? Jim Jones taking a picture of Diddy and Hove, Fat Joe, and Remi. But Jimmy's here. I think not Jimmy, right?
Starting point is 02:41:57 Then Jimmy taking another picture of the clips. And he's looking like, I ain't gonna lie. This is kind of like a side chick pick, low key. Then another one, he's taking a pick in a locker room and show of Javon Tate Davis in the background. Right? And that's why I guess he's saying that. But then he posted this now.
Starting point is 02:42:20 And he said, I understand Diddy was your hero. Stay down with him. I don't care if you let him play with your butt. Then don't act like you. Then act like you don't remember. Let's see this. To be a dope document You gotta be dope
Starting point is 02:42:35 Who you are What you've done I don't know You've accomplished Like yeah Documentchi is a big thing Like you don't want to be doing a documentary About some
Starting point is 02:42:44 Like trying to just make your whole character Look weak Like that's petty behavior I don't want to know the company That did it So we can talk You know what I mean Because if it's all me
Starting point is 02:42:53 I need you know I mean I don't understand why that's like legal to do though Documentci is more like a It seemed like a shit like that How can even be called in documentation You can call a documentary when it's not, when it's...
Starting point is 02:43:04 If you have a person, you're in the news, you can be Google. So do you think that is wrong or not? I'm not with it. I want some documentary about you. You wanted to be a dope. Ah, so Jim Jones said 50 puts out a mockumentary. Let's see if we could... We'll give them some extra views.
Starting point is 02:43:20 It's all good. Let's see what they were talking about. Now, here's the thing. These guys, like, look like they record two days before, so their topics are always like. old. So like here's the thing. You're not going to get them respond in the 50 if they're going to respond till two weeks from now, which that's the thing, right? Let's see.
Starting point is 02:43:46 Apparently they owe money for the spot. Is this the one where they talk about the documentary? They're not cool. They don't want to be cool. So that's why I was asking those questions too. I would never want to, but I don't think it's impossible because everybody grows up. Once you, like you're saying, you're having kids. They kids. Once they're
Starting point is 02:44:12 do shit for me you gave them the world you know what I mean it took and y'all you're feeling with their mom and shit like that in the project so it's like yo y'all got it man
Starting point is 02:44:29 yo chat chat fuck all that man chat the academy dot shop man teen your citizen merch now in stoves man this is ridiculous
Starting point is 02:44:40 where do you draw the line to disrespect you're saying you can't you don't see your ever caught your kid off but if you were up against that type of I got to choose I always been misunderstood do you want second grade in the car is recording it bullying is like I never somebody getting beat up I'm just saying if any of 16 real life right it's not really right it's not the hundred that you think it is not the hundred that you think it is it's not like an independent
Starting point is 02:45:18 on your lifestyle what the fuck that's how it breaks down through the five but he was just saying the money he didn't break okay I'm good boom yeah me and you Chelsea house 100% far you going I probably still smoke my weeds what else you doing when you get a first billion that's what I was gonna say also made it made a point like it's a it's a it's a lifetime job you in it like death rowing them because I I'm more well worried now that my son is grown and do shit for me parents and that I don't go front I think yeah if they if they if they if they saluting you first of all they want somebody doing a documentary about you wanted to be a dope document you
Starting point is 02:46:02 got to be though showing who you are what you've done I don't know bullshit you've accomplished like yeah document she's a big thing like you don't want to why doing a documentary about some like trying to just make your whole character look weak like that's that's petty behavior I don't want to know the company that did it so we could talk you know what I mean because if it's all me I need I I don't understand why that's like legal to do though like without anybody like if you're doing a documentary if I'm doing a documentary on you why wouldn't you want the person involved to interact your documentary is more like a mockumentary yeah you know what I mean it's
Starting point is 02:46:37 it seemed like when you don't use the person it's more like you're against them anyway when you do a like it should be how can you can make a you can do something with it Like, why does it call a documentary when it's not, when it's... It's not an autobiography, but it's a documentary, because once you become a public person... Bro, none of them Pablo Escobar documentaries I watched, none of them people knew him. They all... You get what I mean? Like, you can do it.
Starting point is 02:47:04 If you're a public person, you can do it. You can be Google. So do you think that it's wrong or not? I'm not with it. I'm not with it either. I think that... Do you all agree that it's wrong? Thumbs down for that shit?
Starting point is 02:47:15 I don't want anybody putting out my sex tape. tape. You're right. I mean, if they slandering you or they violate I think it's wrong. We're talking about sex takes with this nigger. If they saluting you, it comes with, it come with who you became. He was different. I mean, yeah.
Starting point is 02:47:30 All right, all these mush mout niggas is trying to. Let me see. So, if you're going to do a critical piece, no one is going to sign onto a documentary that's not going to just exalt them as this amazing figure.
Starting point is 02:47:47 So I think you can do a documentary without the input or without, you know, some of the things you might need or require from the subject that you're doing the documentary on. Now, granted, by the way, this documentary had some of what did he film themselves that was supposed to possibly be for public consumption. So that's even more reason why you could do it without them. that's not my issue whether you could do it without them or whatever. My thing is that is there an agenda and are you being fair?
Starting point is 02:48:23 So it's about fairness for me. And if you're being fair, it is what it is. But if there's an agenda and this is a agenda piece, that's way different too. Would you rather raise a bully or your child to be bullied? Why does it have to be
Starting point is 02:48:39 that alternative? Yeah, I wouldn't. I don't want neither. You want to raise a man. That's how to raise a little. You got to choose, nigger. You got to pick one? I'm going to be either one either.
Starting point is 02:48:50 As a man, you don't want your son to take. Is that all they said? What do you mean? I don't even want to talk about the subject anymore. Would you feel the same way if your child was being cyber? Okay. Now, after 50 posts of that, we all know that Chano been literally posting about.
Starting point is 02:49:13 me every day five times a day ever since a couple days ago now let's see what he says to 50 okay you know me i'm sending it off in a comment section look at jim jones with the i-emose i said mano you got to go to the car and make a video hope you got pushed to start keep the same energy and i'm speaking about you got to keep the same energy you had for me now he posts a picture of 50 and his 50 would look like a wig or some curly, some shit on his head. And he then post this picture, okay. And then he says, meet Killer Curley, ladies and gentlemen. He helped me get my record deal before, so I'm always to be grateful.
Starting point is 02:49:55 So it's going to hurt me to drag this nigga to hell. Fuck is the problem, Curtis. What has your G unit G string in a bunch, nigga? Is it the bitch or the diabetes? but let's rap about it. Now, I ain't going to lie to you. Mano, this ain't it, bro. Mano, if you don't call this nigga
Starting point is 02:50:15 10 different type of pussy, talk about what you heard from the strippers that you're trying to pay the fuck outside of Starless while they're dipping home with a man, if you don't do the same type of energy with 50, yo, Mano, you coming off like a punk, bro. Mano, I'm gonna keep it a bean with you. I've heard a lot of stories about you in the streets.
Starting point is 02:50:40 And I'm not in the streets, but I've heard that you're one of the guys, but you know what I'm starting to realize? You're only the tough guy with the non-tuff guys. And that makes me look at you very different. Because I never knew you were like this. You basically started out 50 called you out a bunch of bums that were sitting. It called you squatters. The nigger called y'all squatters.
Starting point is 02:51:09 He didn't say, oh, I'm only talking to Jim Jones. He said, oh, y'all. That's how 50 give it up. You know how 50 give it up. You know he from Queens. He did it to Jaru, Fat Joe. When Fat Joe and Jada sat next to Jarlu, he said, oh, y'all get it. If you ride in a car with his op, everybody gets shot.
Starting point is 02:51:33 We told him I figured everything. But that's how he give it up. He ain't say just Jim Jones. Jim Jones is the one who said mockumentary. What do you say? These guys are squatters. They owe $250,000 for the space you're filming their podcast. These bums.
Starting point is 02:51:51 Mano, this man calls you a bum. Mano, you ran to the internet like a pregnant baby mama. Defending Fabulous. When Fabulous didn't even seem like he had a problem with a joke I made. I made a headband joke. Yo, damn, why he's wearing a headband? He's just sitting down batting. Maybe he needed to get up with the times.
Starting point is 02:52:15 You ran to the internet, made a five-minute video like Fab was your girlfriend. I didn't say nothing about you initially. Now, 50, a guy who likes to get tough with the tough guys. He's calling you out your name. You're a squatter. You're a bum. And all you, and you start off your, your message by saying, oh, 50 help me get my record deal. So I'm going to be grateful.
Starting point is 02:52:54 Yo, main, no, bro. I'm going to be honest with you. This is the most disappointing shit I've ever seen because I never thought I would have to put you in the category of the tough guy who's only tough with the people who ain't tough. But I've watched mad videos of you being that. because when niggas think about you and there's like this lore about you like how tough you are we didn't hear about you slapping no tough guy we heard about you slapping young burg right that's what we heard and of course people looked at that and say oh now meno is different but now we got to start calling into question because when a tough guy is talking to you
Starting point is 02:53:49 Mary you're giving him props The boy is this the fuck Look is you two thousand I think that was it up my name we brought it up And I guess maybe that's something that's maybe it's a saw spot His soul or spirit or whatever I don't know but what I'm saying is Whatever happened happened already my boy like it's old already like I'm not even on that right we already passed that we already got past that whatever happened happened and why even
Starting point is 02:54:29 why even say something like that when when the internet can go back and find the footage of you on black tv right so why even this is not loaded what the hell's going on on YouTube right now is it not working oh here we go is YouTube down um Did yourself and said, I heard you talk to reckless. Yeah. And then, you know, the slapping happened. No, no, I asked him, I gave him an option. Oh.
Starting point is 02:55:18 Actually, what? Well, asked him what? That was the opportunity to change whatever he was saying. And you repeated himself. Yeah, very un-abressive. Right. I have a security with me. I have security guards with me too as well.
Starting point is 02:55:33 So, like, just that all, like, oh, he just banged and slapped me. Like, oh, like, that's kind of like, That's kind of like beyond me. But at the same soaking, like, you know, like me and him, like we rocked hard. Like, we was on a lot of tours together. We did a lot of shows together. And, like, it is what it is. Like, he's much older than me, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:55:53 I ain't no beefing type dude. And, like, I never really spoke on him because, like, it's just like my management was telling me at the time. Like, don't speak on it. It's not nothing that's irrelevant. That's not even with your fan base, blah, blah, blah. But I thought that once we had the conversation, that he, yeah, the next day that it was going to be deading, you know what I'm saying? Like, me personally, I thought, like, beyond me.
Starting point is 02:56:16 And, like, I was just like, man, at that point, like, I was kind of like, Mayno really didn't, like, it was an associate of mine that said, Mayno was, hey, you know, he was on some woodshund or something. I apologize for that. Do a song together afterwards, something like that? Like, yo, listen, I was tripping, you're riding. I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't. The next day.
Starting point is 02:56:37 Oh, really? You guys talked about the next day. Oh, I didn't hear about that. So he called you, you call him? Oh, we got him. Somebody got us on the phone. And he was just the next day, so he was a champion and whatever.
Starting point is 02:56:50 Oh, really? I am a young and sexy dude for the young and sexy period. So it's like, it is what it is, you know? And, like, I mean, much success to him, you know, and it's all level of mine. In fact, I just seen, Mano, I was, I'm a nigga, I just... Okay.
Starting point is 02:57:08 Then, everybody know Mayno and, somebody named Bunky S.A. This is how Mano, at least, in my opinion, has gotten this reputation that he's like, like Mato is moving like he's like a serial killer. Like he's King Vaughn. I'm showing you I got his reputation and cool. Nobody, I ain't down his reputation.
Starting point is 02:57:32 I'm just looking at him because now I'm starting to think I haven't seen him go against any of the tough guys. guys he's just picking on Nick yo you're picking on youngberg bro hold on let me see what you see this is the nigger right here there's like a studio thing where he flashes a gun on him or something like that is it this it was forced DVD I guess this guy was talking crazy well I guess maybe this guy ain't ain't soft because he was talking crazy got busy I got that footage all right right You know what I'm right.
Starting point is 02:58:19 Ironically, 50's playing in the back. Okay, so this is like why people think Mayno is like, you know, Mayno is like, he's like, he's like the king Vaughn of New York supposedly. Like he's been running around slapping everybody to center. Here's my thing. Mano, this is finally a time in the sun. We need you to see you get tough with a tough guy.
Starting point is 02:59:33 50 is out here. He's ready to punk everybody. And you over here giving him compliments like, yo, I'm gratefully gave me a record deal. Fuck the record deal, nigga. You're not rapping no more. You're podcasting. Nigel, go in the car and tell 50 you down to meet up.
Starting point is 02:59:50 Mano, I'm going to look at you. different if you don't come with the same energy to 50 chat we got we got to hold people accountable by the way you know why i responded to mayno because remember i wasn't talking to him you know i respond to him because y'all would have said to me yo act you respond to everybody else you skatered a mano all right let me go respond to mayno all right we got to keep the same energy may know the same way you're you've been responding to niggas we don't want to hear how grateful you you need to tell 50 just like how you told you just posted and telling whack 100 i pause on this yo if you're ready to do something do something i'm seeing if maynoh got the same energy
Starting point is 03:00:42 yo call it 50 cent curly is not it's not the energy bro anyway i see jim jones in the comment section. This is Jim Jones right here. Did Jim Jones respond? Yo, Jim, I love you, brother. Actually, let me not say I love me because I really don't care about it's like that. But like, Jim,
Starting point is 03:01:18 the same way when you see me at Prudential Center and you say niggas get hurt when they play with me, I why ain't you saying that's a fifth? If you don't know the story, I see Jim at Prudential.
Starting point is 03:01:36 He was walking in front of Birdman I didn't see him at first I really went down to say What up to Birdman I think he thought I was walking Because I was walking quickly Because Burman was walking past me I think he thought I was walking to come from him
Starting point is 03:01:48 And not saying nothing but Nigger Like It's like what up nigga Goes over to the side I'm with Vlad at the time You know I'm kind of moving around
Starting point is 03:01:59 I see I see Birdman that's my guy Then Jim is like You know I try to say what up to him Because I didn't know this nigga's mad over some six-nine shit. I guess six-nine said that some blood came home and it wasn't cool.
Starting point is 03:02:14 It didn't look good. So he was feeling away. So I'm trying to say what up to Jim. I don't even think there's a problem. Jim, he starts set tripping on me. He turned into, he turned, chat. Jim Jones literally turned into a teenier citizen on me. My boy with a gray beard was,
Starting point is 03:02:36 acting like a Y N. Yo, yo, yo, listen, man. Yo, yo, yo, let me say this to you, bro. Let me say this to you, dog. Yo, you move and fidget. He's like, yo, let me say this to you, dog. Joe, that shit, y'all do it online. That shit, not cool. I'm like, what is he talking about?
Starting point is 03:02:53 So I'm like, Jim, what are you talking about? Yo, Joe, Joe. That, and he mentions, he doesn't mention six, nine. He said, I just want to let y'all niggas to know. niggis get hurt when they play with me that was the line like that was like his his wrestling line niggis get hurt
Starting point is 03:03:13 when they play with me 50 cent looked like he'd been playing with you pause for the last year and he looks like he's healthy as hell I'm starting to realize I'm starting to realize Mano Jim Jones I'm waiting to see if they're going to get
Starting point is 03:03:33 tough with the tough guys Mayno didn't even go to the car To make a video He's like I appreciate fifth Fifth gave me a record deal This what? I'm starting to realize Jim is in the comments
Starting point is 03:03:57 Just with the laughing emoji I'm realizing That the energy these guys have Only applies When they feel like They're not meeting another tough guy This is kind Hey Mayna you post everything on your page
Starting point is 03:04:14 I know you ain't gonna post 50 again You shook you could post me saying this I'm wondering where's the energy with the tough guys I see you incorrectly thought that I tagged Wack 100 No I didn't
Starting point is 03:04:29 Mano you've been just cloud chasing and I'm sorry I'm like the biggest media niggins so when you talk about me everybody want to chime in and yes my other people who or whatever they're looking at you because they realize that everybody sees the interaction for what it is nigga where everybody's jonesing on each other and you're approaching it with an aggressive attitude
Starting point is 03:04:49 like you want to fight and you want to get violent. So yes, that's why other people are like, yo, hold on now, relax, nigga, like, what's up with you? That's why. So nobody tagged in nobody. But I want to hear that same type of violent tone with 50 cents. And if I don't hear the same type of violent tone, because again, when you thought I tagged in whack,
Starting point is 03:05:20 you said, if that nigga want to do something, let's do something, and I don't hear you. It seems like you're sounding like me when I was asking you why you're so aggressive. Remember I'm like, yo, bro, I thought we were joking. Like, why are you so mad? That's how you sound like. What is the problem?
Starting point is 03:05:40 That's exactly what I asked you. Meno doesn't turn to me. Yo, it hit different when the bully meet a bigger bully. 50 giving all y'all wedgies on there and y'all like, what's the problem, Curtis? Fuck what the problem is. He said, oh, y'all niggas is his bum-ass thing is that, oh, quarter million dollars. This is your time to get tough? What happened to that, Mano?
Starting point is 03:06:03 Is Mano going to get tough? Now, I do want to say I'm not encouraging any violence. I'm anti-violence. Just remember that. However, I like the same energy. The energy wasn't here with this one. If anything, Mano, I'm going to tell you why you sound like me. Remember what I said, yo, next time I see Mena, I'll make sure I got security.
Starting point is 03:06:38 He do something I'm sending to jail. You're doing a young thug right here. You're doing the gunner. You're doing the 6-9. Meet Killer Curly. Why are you on Instagram announcing that 50 cents a killer? That's like me saying, meet Meno with five bodies. Why are you doing that?
Starting point is 03:06:58 You're the tough guy. You're doing what I would do. Yes. Didn't I tell y'all? What me and cash was into it, when I seen him, he said, let's talk over there. I said, let's talk outside. I do the police is outside. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 03:07:11 Yep. Mm-hmm. Let's talk outside where the cops is at. Mm-hmm. Yep. Meet Killer Curley. Meet Killer Curley. You see what happens when a bully meets the bigger bully?
Starting point is 03:07:31 Maynard was just me. Meet Killer Curly. Why are you saying killer? Why are you saying killer? Why are you saying that at all? That's like me saying, yo, when I see me, when I see Mato, yeah, I'm saying it specifically. Oh, no, I think I said. I said, yeah.
Starting point is 03:07:53 When Mado says some shit, I sent it in the group chat with hip-hop police. I see, y'all, you see this? Yes, that's what you're doing. When you say me, Killer Curly, you're doing what I did when you said some crazy shit. And I just put it in the group chat with hip-hop police. Yo, y'all seen this? Now that nigga funny, huh? I know they're going to add it to the investigation files.
Starting point is 03:08:14 Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Mayno, you doing the same thing as me? Mayno. Put you in the group chat with hip-hop police. You could just tell them all fifth two.
Starting point is 03:08:31 Because we know you don't want to get no tough. You're not giving that type of energy here. Now you're calling him killer. Why you ain't called me killer act? You ain't called me killer act. It wasn't killer act to me now, huh? I'm a jar of relish, but this is killer curly. Oh, oh.
Starting point is 03:08:59 Yo, 50, I was critical in the documentary at first, but I got your back, gang. I'm with you. Fenty! You're my God, man. You know what, that one thing I like about 50? 50 is a definition of I don't hold no punches and I don't pick and choose. I knew 50 ain't pick and choose when I seen him going,
Starting point is 03:09:33 Jay, yo, 50 literally just don't pick and choose. I fuck with it. Now, Mano, I've never seen Mano ask all these questions. Mano, why were you address me you wasn't asking, act? What's your problem with us? What's your problem with a headband, nigger? What's your problem with this? Why are you asking so much fucking questions?
Starting point is 03:10:07 What's the problem? What is your G-sh-sh- No, nigger? Jim Jones, you got to tell 50 niggins get hurt playing with you. That's what you told me. 50 is playing with you. He's doing exactly what you told me about. When niggas do online shit, they get hurt playing with you. Jim!
Starting point is 03:10:35 50's doing all like shit playing with you is he going to get hurt or not chat hey hey listen I want to reiterate I'm not here as a proponent of violence I'm here to point out the hypocrisy These guys are not keeping the same energy This is that Atlanta young thug shit
Starting point is 03:11:01 Gunna a rat woody a rat But he just talked too much He told he ain't snitch. What? What? That's that picking and choosing shit, chat. I'm just going to be honest with y'all. I'm going to be honest with y'all.
Starting point is 03:11:19 It's the facts. They pick and choose. If I've learned one thing about the streets, the streets pick and choose. They keep the same manner as he till they meet another nigga who's tougher than them. Then it's a whole different situation. They got a million ways to explain it why it's different.
Starting point is 03:11:43 Well, nah, it ain't that serious what Fifth said. What you said, nah, nigger, like, now we have to let you know, you pussy. Like, yeah, we have to let you know. Because I made, because I said something about a headband. Yeah, nigga, yeah. Bro, he says y'all are squatters that owe quarter million dollars and are bum-ass niggas. That doesn't offend y'all?
Starting point is 03:12:03 Well, yo, yo, that's different. That's, like, different. Like, that's different. And like, that's different. Um, um, he gave me my first record deal. Mano, I'm refreshing your page the whole night. If you don't get to that dusty ass car and go make a video, telling 50, call him 50 all type of pussy and talk about what he's alleged to have done.
Starting point is 03:12:34 Because remember, when me and you were supposedly Jonesing with each other, by the way, I could Jones with the best of them. You got real weird. You always had this aggressive overtone. But you got real weird. weird and start bringing up lies and accusations about me that are not true. I want you to see, I want to see you try that with 50.
Starting point is 03:12:57 I want, that's what I want to see you try. I dare you to go try that with 50. His baby mama said a couple things about him, made allegations, go put down the internet versus him. Bet you won't. 50, man.
Starting point is 03:13:20 I got to salute you, man. I like you're doing the Lord's work, man. You're keeping the gangster niggins in check. And one thing I could say about you, Fifth, that juvenile song, from the 90s to the 2000. You've been checking these niggas and keeping them on point from the 90s to the 2000s to the 2020s.
Starting point is 03:13:44 I fuck with it, man. I fuck with it. I rock with it. I rock with it. I'm refreshing Mano's page. He ain't got to. nothing to say he posted me more than he posted
Starting point is 03:13:59 anybody else you can tell he don't really want no parts of 50 he's talking said fuck wrong with him may know you like you see the reason why niggins stopped talking to you because you came off you're pretty weird there's allegations about you that
Starting point is 03:14:17 number one first of all I'm worth too much to really speak on if it's unfounded because it could be a lawsuit Number two, as men, unless you know certain things of facts, you shouldn't even really accuse certain people of certain things. But you were very comfortable to do it, right? Because you had no jokes that you can't really joke with people. I get it.
Starting point is 03:14:38 I want to see if you're going to do that to 50. I dare you. The same thing you claimed, you kept posting about with me, go post what Daphne Joy accused 50 of the same thing. I dare you. You ain't that tough. That just goes to show. You ain't that tough, my nigga.
Starting point is 03:15:04 Jack, he said he brought up some chicks saying something about me. There is online proof in the girl who said about 50's famous. Let's see if he will post that about 50. Or is he just not like that? Somebody said, I post it. I don't got another against 50. And I believe you showed him what's happening. Why would I post it?
Starting point is 03:15:32 I'm just saying I'm judging Mano on how he handles both situations to say, Acu not 50, relax. I know, but that's the point.
Starting point is 03:16:09 All right. I know 50 going to keep the foot on the neck, man. Shout to fifth, bro. Shout to fifth. Fifth. I know you watch the stream, I love you, man.
Starting point is 03:16:27 You know, is 50... Is he the, like, golden villain that's ever existed? By the way, fifth, If you're making the Maineo documentary, I know a few people that want to be in it. Just saying, if you're making the Maineo documentary,
Starting point is 03:16:45 you know Fifth is like the documentary niggins out, right? I see the meme niggas is like, yo, something happened and some random, and they're like, yo, Fifth ought to make a documentary. Yeah, yeah. Fifth don't give a damn. Is this Young Fifth? Yep.
Starting point is 03:17:04 Yo, Fifth is something else, bro. Mano took his ass to sleep. No smoke. No fucking smoke. All right. Yo, Mano, if you're getting bullied and you need to call the cops on Fifth, I'll put you in a group chat with hip-hop police.
Starting point is 03:17:36 They'll make sure Fifth don't come around you. Don't give you a wedge you or nothing like that. You good, bro. Trust me. Trust me. They'll start a case file and the order of protection for you too. All right. Let's keep it going.
Starting point is 03:17:48 Your Mano ain't going to say nothing. That thing is on mute. Let me refresh his pace a couple more time. but the video ain't come out yet Nope Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm All right Did Fav say something?
Starting point is 03:18:08 Fab, I feel like Fab just be Catching Strait Yo, Fabby just chilling, bro. Fav don't even fuck about this shit, man. Loki, I think Fab be on that podcast thinking, yo,
Starting point is 03:18:21 my nigga, like, I got too much money to really be here, bro. Like, Fab is actually lit. Because FAB had, like, an illustrious career. Fab's a New York City legend Not Mount Rushmore type legend But like if you're gonna say top
Starting point is 03:18:42 Where would you think Fab Ranks in all time New York City rappers It's either top 15 or top 10 But it's not further than that But there's a lot of New York City rappers Right so you got to throw You got Nause You got you got Jay
Starting point is 03:19:03 You got Cam You got, um, fifth, you got, um, Nikki. Uh, that's already five. You got DMX. You got Jaru. Um, who else, who else? Who else? Who else?
Starting point is 03:19:18 You got Fat Joe. Yeah. I, I think, I think Fab is like, is it top 10? No, no, no, no. Y'all disrespect him. No, he's definitely, like, Fab is in the top 15 of all, of New York rappers. Y'all don't think so? You know what's so crazy, too?
Starting point is 03:19:48 I honestly think that even like that joke I was getting off on Fav. I don't even think Fav gave a fuck. I think Fav was like, yeah, this thing, I keep doing what are you doing, whatever. Because Fav's a jockey type nigga too. Mena was just holding his pockets. Which I think? Knock, I'm a call Wack. I'm a call Wack.
Starting point is 03:20:21 Yeah, that's what I do. I do. I'm a call Wack. Yo, we got a good topic after this, too. Yo, Wack. What up bro? We're on stream, hey, hey, did you see what 50s said to Mano and him? Them niggas over there squad.
Starting point is 03:20:54 Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. So, you know what I was saying, though? I said, Mato got to keep the same energy. Right? He's a bitch. He got to keep the same energy. Because put it like this. When I was, first of all, I didn't even start joking on him.
Starting point is 03:21:11 I was making a joke about fabulous. He jumped in. And then when he jumped in... You gotta remember he needs something to talk about, bro. Look, what does Maino have to talk about? Like... Do I'm saying? Like...
Starting point is 03:21:25 No, I know that. That's a fact. That's a fact. So, you know, he's like... So he got to find something to talk about. Yeah, yeah, but... But Mayno, like, his, his, his, like... His reputation is like he's like the King Vaughn out of New York.
Starting point is 03:21:40 Like, I'm so... You be fuck out of here. I sent you to the... the audio, the duty term wrong with a lot, boxing bar. I sent it to you. He said he tapped the nigger Meno on his shoulder after he's slicing on the street. I sent you the audio. I interview.
Starting point is 03:21:55 You got it on your text. Wait, me, but like, I don't know if you, have you heard about him, him like in New York City? They say Mano, they said Mano slap like 200 niggins. Out of here, I don't know. Get the fuck out of here, bro. I'm serious. They say got a couple bodies. He slapped, like, two.
Starting point is 03:22:13 on the niggas. So really, like, May don't like King Vaugh? Come on, bro. You're talking about the nigga that stole Troy Ave Jerry? No, that was why. Like it was cool? No, that was why. They wore it in videos. And then, I thought to claim it was fake after he wore a video. Come on, bro. No, no, that was why. He wore the chain for, like, a year.
Starting point is 03:22:31 And then he said it was fake. He's wearing a fake chain for years, man. That is crazy. And then gave him a shout out and took to all kind of shit. Come on, bro. Like, I'm talking about. What fuck are we talking about? Why do you think you want to keep the same energy with 50, though? Because you got to remember. You think he's scared of 50?
Starting point is 03:22:55 He's scared of what 50 could do in them New York Street, so you know that. 50 called him a squatter and a bump, and the first thing he said is, yo, I'm always going to be grateful you gave me a record deal. Huh? Yeah, something's that. He's old. You gotta keep the same energy, bro. That's whole tendencies.
Starting point is 03:23:17 Yo, I keep realizing street niggas really picking truths, man. Select the policies, bro. Why is it like that, though? Because the streets is a myth. Because I thought he was going to treat 50 like how he said he treated young bird. He ain't going to do that, bro. He's going to call and beg Uncle murdered. He had 50 off of him like he did me.
Starting point is 03:23:44 What? I called Uncle Murray to beg that's a good office out. Yeah. He was apologizing to the homie G. Magic and all that on my mama. You know. So wait, what do you think Mato's objective is? Do you think it's just like doing content? He just needs something to talk, bro.
Starting point is 03:24:01 The nigga had one hit 28 years ago. He ain't never had a tour. He ain't never none of that type of shit, bro. Well, at the end of the day, bro, he has to talk about what, being talked about or he has nothing to talk about Hey, what do you think?
Starting point is 03:24:21 So, so I was telling I was telling the chat of the story. I was like, what do you think? Jim Jones is going to say, because when I seen Jim Jones at the concert, you know what Jim Jones said? He said, all that internet shit y'all be doing. He said,
Starting point is 03:24:36 niggas get hurt when they play with me. I think 50 is playing with him at this point. Do you think 50 going to get hurt? Let the name that can do nothing, bro. Nothing. Huh? Jim Jones scared to go to jail. That's why he told back in, you know that.
Starting point is 03:24:59 On my mama, I got a call three weeks ago, the word on the block is, remember I told you, male murder ain't too happy. He was trying to give me the lining them up with our guy that beat that got offices out. Out here with me and out there with you to do an interview. This is a fact. He's not too happy.
Starting point is 03:25:20 He won't expose a nigga. Where, remember I told you? Remember I told you, bro? Why would he not be too happy? Like, I said, He came home like poo shiasty. No, listen to him.
Starting point is 03:25:31 No, he didn't. He came home. Sheisty, no poo. That's a fact. Now, he came home like Max B. You know, he's annoyed. He came on without B without the Max. Right, listen.
Starting point is 03:25:43 Remember our time there's no way all of a sudden these bloods is just attacking Jim Jones all of a sudden. All this time, dude been in jail, they ain't said nothing. Then when he get out, they're saying something. That was the pressure. He didn't do what he was supposed to do. Ask our guy with the red beard and whacked and seen him an offer for a dude to come sit down with it. It's a fact That's why I sit back
Starting point is 03:26:19 And I watch these niggas These niggas fake as fuck You know what I'm saying You know who with me all day? Who? O and B. Yeah Because she gonna feel what I feel
Starting point is 03:26:29 What I feel and I'm gonna feel These niggins be out of here Perpetrating the fraud So you don't think You don't think that Meno gonna give Fithi a wedgy For playing with him
Starting point is 03:26:42 Lowe Maynoh not been in saying word of it. He might go over there and watch his motherfuckettuck his friends. Really? He's gonna say nothing to 50. He's open 50, put him in a movie or in a
Starting point is 03:26:56 TV series or something, bro. Oh, look, hey, let's be real. This game and changed. And those dudes that don't have resources and rich, it's a problem. You know that. Yeah, no, that's true. You get what I'm saying?
Starting point is 03:27:13 It's a problem. So, hey, hey, hey, whack, you know, you turn my son into a politician now, right? Like, he's trying to run for office. I haven't seen that to heard from that dude for quite some time. Yeah, you went from picking up picking signs. Now he's, he's a crime advisor for Mondami, where you're to the mayor? He's a crime advisor for what?
Starting point is 03:27:38 Mondami, yeah. What the fuck is Mandatwe? So he's turning in information. Yeah, yeah, basically he got his own grid program, so he won't tell the cops how to deal with the criminals better. Yeah. There go, there, there go, bro. There go.
Starting point is 03:27:53 But yet, he wanted to call everybody rats, right? This nigga. See what I'm saying? That's what I'm saying, bro. I don't put it passing no, bro. This nigga robbed a motherfucker cab driver for $7, bro. And did, what, seven years? Yeah, not, no.
Starting point is 03:28:12 The nigga robbed a cab driver for $7. He didn't apologize at the Cap Rock. Nah, this is definitely telling me crazy. Yeah, that's wild. I'm surprised by, my, hey, did you see Mado's trying to post about you?
Starting point is 03:28:27 Like, he was acting like he was upset. Bro, listen. Like, you were lying on him. You gotta remember. Like, why got that line? Then he posts some weird, some weird ass. What is weird assing. What is him up?
Starting point is 03:28:38 They're talking about somebody BBL's some weird shit. I'm so. I'm gonna keep it a being with you? Why was your, Why is your mind on a man's ass? Look, you're okay? Black, I was disturbed that he had a video of you laying like naked in his phone.
Starting point is 03:28:53 That was a little bit odd to me. That's what I'm saying? That's odd, bro. The nigga got tendencies. I come from a bitch. What you got in your phone for? That's crazy. I mean, but listen, bro, dude ain't got long.
Starting point is 03:29:08 You know what I'm saying? He ain't got long. He's going to get called. He's going to get violated. you know, as big as claim to fame and putting his hand on young bird Well, that thing ain't nobody, bro No, no, from what I've heard
Starting point is 03:29:20 Mano has hundreds of victims He's a serial I don't get the fuck out of here, bro If you ask things in New York While Mano They basically saying he's been punking everybody out here Honestly Man, get the fuck out of here, bro
Starting point is 03:29:37 That's why, like, I never tried to use this But I told him, I said, listen, Mano, first of all, after your aggressive tone at me you know number one I don't go nowhere without security but I beefed up my security but if you do see Troy I have renamed that nigga
Starting point is 03:29:52 Drano bro Drano what? Yeah Troy I've been renamed that nigga Drano bro a long time ago Troy I fucked over that nigga Bro before he went and did the little nine months he did Yeah he could pull that shab
Starting point is 03:30:05 Oh no he was called Chano oh yeah He was called it Drano some shit I don't know you know what I'm saying but you know I end the day it is what it is niggins you jumped in something academic said about a whole other artist who ain't had nothing to say about it you clown chasing no he definitely is but but again and
Starting point is 03:30:27 I don't mind him cloud chasing as long as he shows me he keeps the same energy with everybody because you know what at least at that point I could be like yo dog is you not understand his humor he's just generally aggressive with everybody. But with him and fifth, he seems to be kind of asking Fifth, what's the problem? Man, listen, bro.
Starting point is 03:30:54 I want no problems. Fifth, he didn't already violated you. You don't want no problems. You know, check this out. Is you pulling up? Aiden pulling up. Mickey Mace, the professional gambler pulling up. Neon said he pulling up.
Starting point is 03:31:09 Aiden asking me is you're going to be this week on the 20th. Oh, shit. Oh, yeah. No, no, no. Six o'clock, bro. We're doing the segment. We came in a way that we go on to the car dealership.
Starting point is 03:31:25 We're going to get a chick's a car. It's been going, we had like several squabbles a day, but they're cool. They're bowling right now. Wait, wait, wait. You're shooting a reality show. Wait, they're squabbling? We've been shooting a reality show since the fourth food every day, now stop. Wait, man.
Starting point is 03:31:39 She's crazy. Fresh out of Loole. Is it coming out in shoes? Nah, niggins is coming out on the same network. We shoot no shiwold. Nogh's coming out on nothing but content. Powered by nothing but sports. Yeah, what you mean?

Starting point is 03:32:08 He put together the games, the gambling, the games, the girls are going to be. plan to win the car. So, you know, me or not. Yeah, man, listen, let me tell you this shit. You know, R.V. is one of the directions of this shit, or an executive producer of this shit. Today, we gave away a full set of veneers to a grill at one,
Starting point is 03:32:29 the competition. Yeah. We gave away body surgery on us. We giving away a car. I think we tossed a roly in there. Yeah. One of the girls won a song produced by hit boy, written by Blueface. She did that on the yacht.
Starting point is 03:32:48 We got the hunting for a yacht out there with the studio on the yacht. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, shit, we can, we can, bro, he keeps eight, like a scene of text. He's like, yo, whack. Well, wait. Wait, whack. Yeah. Could you apologize for setting up Chris-Shall, Roth?
Starting point is 03:33:07 I heard, I heard you had them. I had them. I don't know, bro. Listen. I heard you add a jump it, bro. First of all, right? And the whole world heard me tell her she should leave, bro. She went on a 20 versus one and disrespected the whole crib card.
Starting point is 03:33:29 Not a set. The whole crib card. Not once but twice. Right? And then she, the little blood dude, she was with turned around and told him, she dropped his mama and baby mama address to the Crips. So I'm telling her you playing a dangerous game in this jungle. You know, I don't want to see that happen to her.
Starting point is 03:33:51 She need to leave, bro. Go somewhere and lay low. This is a dangerous jungle right here because when you do that, anybody that sees you open season. I don't think she understands it. What does she do that? People are upset at them. Go pull up at 20 versus 1.
Starting point is 03:34:07 She told the Crip. Nicked Disty. Told him straight up. Fuck this, fuck that. This the whole seat. He did it like three weeks ago, bro. Like, I don't know what people don't understand. It's like that.
Starting point is 03:34:21 She did that. See, pull it up. I'm pretty sure you can Google it right now on YouTube. Chrison Rock, 20 versus 1, this is the Crips. So wait, that's why they pulled up on her? I mean, shit, she was over there and coping in the Crip neighborhood. So I don't know, and I'm gonna be real. That wasn't nothing.
Starting point is 03:34:45 Hopefully she pays attention to the warnings, bro. It stays out of them areas and get the fuck out of die of, bro, because, bro, listen, my nigga, they- They're terrible. They think that Blueface set her up. Did Blueface set her up? I know nobody think no shit like that. Frays ain't from Compton.
Starting point is 03:35:02 That did some dumb, stupid motherfilms on the internet, talk it out their ass, because there's nothing right come out of their mouth. like blue face ain't from copper blue face from mid city bro west L.A. area bro. That's about a 30 minute, 30, 35 minute trip bro. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 03:35:19 I'm saying? When you look, listen, you're Jamaican, right? So if I say fuck academics, right? That's me talking to you, right? Yeah. But if I say fuck Jamaicans that's everybody, right?
Starting point is 03:35:35 Yeah. So that means wherever I'm at, if there's a making that didn't like that, I might get it, right? No, that's the fact. That's what she did. She dissed the whole crib card. Loud as fuck. Yeah, I ain't a lot.
Starting point is 03:35:49 That might not end too well. That ain't, bro. She went around his jungle, bro. I'm going to be honest. Like, I'm going to keep it a being with you. Before I seen that, I was like, yo, I know you're from L.A. And I get it if people are, like, you know,
Starting point is 03:36:06 moving around unprotected, whatever. but I'm like, I think we're in the era where a nigga could just say whatever and just kind of do his thing, like, you know? Nah, not, no, boy. Bullshit, it's still dangerous out of here, buddy. It's still people live and die about their shit like is their religion.
Starting point is 03:36:22 Believe it or not. Bullshit. No, you can't. My fuck, turn your TV off, bro. And with that, it can come from me to side men, women. You know what I'm saying? Then she runs around with
Starting point is 03:36:35 all this jury on. Like, bro, you know, ideas out here. A nigger. Did it rob her or no? I don't know. I wasn't there. I couldn't tell you. I mean, I don't know.
Starting point is 03:36:46 If she was telling me, if she checked with you, like, yo, whack, yo, I might have to go over in town. We ain't got nothing to do with none of that. That's her business. We was filming, bro. I know what we was at. We was a Malibu Mountain was filming. So, you're worried about that shit.
Starting point is 03:37:00 That ain't our business. So, like, I was watching, like, the girls talk about it afterwards. They said they started beating her ass. And the kid was. around. So like, isn't that bad? And those people, but that love, bro, that's not. Let me tell you why.
Starting point is 03:37:13 That's irresponsible on her. If you know, you didn't violate it and say what you said, why would you take your kid to a no gang area? And what kind are they going to look at her and say, you are irresponsible? Yeah.
Starting point is 03:37:32 Like, bro, you know what you did. You know what the chatter is out there. and you're going to take your kid to the middle of Coppin and the Cripwood? What the fuck are you thinking? Yeah, nah, that's definitely a little bit more. Oh, bro, that's crazy, my nigga.
Starting point is 03:37:51 Hey, hey, by the way, what did you think about this K-So Dad thing? So, K-So, yeah, we don't watch this on school. I mean, I mean, bro, he said, he said, he said, I told, but I ain't. He said he saved this something. get on to other kids.
Starting point is 03:38:08 No, I get that, but I... So in this new clip, he said some shit that... That's why I hear in Atlanta a lot. He's like, yo, that nigga told, but he ain't snitched. Whatever. I don't even...
Starting point is 03:38:19 I don't even... None of that. This is why I don't respect the streets. This is why I wrote and we put together the New Testament because that's what it is today, bro. Like, and in the day,
Starting point is 03:38:31 these things I argue out about what you read. You know what I'm saying? On some real shit. But guess what? There's a lot of motherfuckers that have been bad for 20, 30 years. A lot of motherfuckers. I'm saying?
Starting point is 03:38:46 That's been bad for 20, 30 years, bro. I read some shit today. A nigga got caught with a machine gun, a assault rifle, a silencer, weed, and two other charges. And I'm reading it's from O2. But the nigga got three years summary probation, former probation. shit. Nick ain't no way. You know what I'm saying? So a lot of these motherfuckers is running around here playing
Starting point is 03:39:11 like this and playing like that. And it's a lot of tough-ass rats too. Don't get me wrong. It's a lot of rats that are whoop your ass. A lot of rats that are the kids, you're the rats. You know what I'm saying? It is what it is. So people select the politics because if the people know
Starting point is 03:39:27 he's a rat, it's going to make the hood look bad. But yet if that other little nigga get caught telling, they'll violate him because he don't make a difference. you see what I'm saying this shit is overweight jitterification is here the laws you see what Trump did
Starting point is 03:39:43 with Frenov. You know what I'm saying he just he just labeled Ferdinol weapon of mass destruction so in the next five it's seven years Oh yeah I've seen that we're gonna talk about it Yeah and the next three to five years bro
Starting point is 03:39:57 gang members will be the minority civilians will laugh to say I tell him your bitch ass they're going to be begging the civilians and paying them not to tell it's over with i got three calls today from me from the county telling me they made a change i made a change my turn over newly it's over with bro this why i've always been the way i've been i deal with what do i deal with i don't give a fuck about the politics it's just content to me because they ain't gonna do nothing about it look at max b didn't I not tell you a year ago audio was coming?
Starting point is 03:40:36 I told you that. I said, yo, they got the nigger audio. You didn't believe me. I said, all right, it's going to drop. But he got the popularity vote, so they looked the way. But yet, six, nine, he got out, and they crucified him. Because he's a young Latin kid who had all the attention, so the black niggas is jealous.
Starting point is 03:41:01 So you just against him. that's how I work bro what it is that's why we got to take care of that's it yeah no that's definitely crazy

All right, that wasn't that long. for whack comma right all right main oh man i'm gonna give you 24 hours man if i if i see you don't have that energy i'm done talking you like i'm not gonna let you and jim jones only be tough with with with the non tough guys y'all need to get tough this is your moment to get tough this y'all moment to get tough other than that and if y'all don't i'm just to keep posting 50
Starting point is 03:43:01 volley you like I'm posting every time anyway alright then you know what I wanted to get into anything else with this now you don't know what I wanted to get into chat
Starting point is 03:43:14 I actually think this is cap but there are people and I know I'm pulled up Tasha K so it's already like but I think Tasha K you know I don't know if she's I don't accuse her of being a liar or whatever, but like,
Starting point is 03:43:40 I think she'll be trying to go off good faith information. I've seen her tweet out today. She said, exclusive. Allegedly, Shalemaine the God contract is not up for renewal. His contract ends January 21st. Close source tells me they're not bringing them back, reportedly due to his shift in the political space. What does this mean for the future of the breakfast club?
Starting point is 03:44:03 Everything is allegedly, even my name, is. Allegedly. So what do y'all say? Are y'all happy to see him go or y'all want him to stay? Sound out, a songd off below. Let me just say this before having answers. I'm covering this topic. I don't believe for a second. Charlemagne is the life of Power 105. He is the heart, the soul. He is the pulse. And if you ask me, when it comes to anything that has to do with the breakfast club, he's responsible for. the reason why I don't believe this is that you know there's a few things that kind of chime in right like some people say charlemagne signs deal eye heart the reason why people are coming up with this they're saying in 2020 December charlemagne struck a five year deal so the first year would end in 2021 second year ended 2022, third year, 2023, fourth year,
Starting point is 03:45:09 2024, and the fifth year would be now 2025 around December this time. So they're wondering, has he renewed his relationship with IHeart Media? Right? I don't even know why that's the thing, but it probably
Starting point is 03:45:25 is a thing because people are looking at other people getting fired and they say, what's going to you know, happen with Charlemagne? Now, I want to be honest with you. I'm going to entertain this, But I don't think Charlemagne's going anywhere. I think he's too important to I-Heart. And I think Charlemagne is smart.
Starting point is 03:45:42 He's made himself important to I-Hart because once he did his deal for Black Effect with I-Heart, he made it where he's the only cultural hub access point to black culture and podcasts for I-Hart. It's like when Jay-Z, made himself the access point for black culture with the non-nealing stuff. Of course, if he was able to get people to stop kneeling, he would gain so much power or even, you know, influence over everybody at that station.
Starting point is 03:46:22 Right? So here's the thing. People are thinking Charlene's thing might be up. Tasha Kay saying it's not going to be up, it's not up for renewal. I suppose name wrong? What the fuck? There was a bunch of videos that dropped. Here are some videos, right?
Starting point is 03:46:55 You see what's happening, man, you know what I'm saying? Your ass! And I guess they do a live stream that's not on air, but like it's on Instagram. And this is supposedly Charlemagne in a off-the-cuff way kind of talking about the industry and maybe alluding to his contract. Actually before then, there was another thing.
Starting point is 03:47:20 That's why people are sparking these rumors, right? What that ends up being, what that ends up being is this video here where Charlemagne is kind of seen or he's asked directly about his contract with Eye Heart and he responded like this. It was 2020 when you started it. And I believe it was a five-year deal. Be behind a mic. So as you mentioned, it was 2020 when you started it. And I believe it was a five-year deal.
Starting point is 03:48:01 So your renewal is coming up with IHeart. Do you plan to renew? You know what's so interesting about 2020? That it was COVID, right? And so being that it was COVID, like everybody that I reached out to said yes to the Black Effect podcast network. And that's why we were able to launch with 20 plus, you know, you know, 20 plus different podcast.
Starting point is 03:48:22 But that's crazy you knew that. I don't know how do you know this? Because when the press release says it was a five-year deal and the press release came out December 2020 and we're almost there. So, guys, Carrie can read. Carrie can read. That's amazing.
Starting point is 03:48:39 You learned anything today. So I don't think you answered my question. Yeah. You call that the weave, you know. The Bob and Weave. Yeah, saw Donald Trump say that on Flagrant the We. So we don't... She's good.
Starting point is 03:48:58 Only, can you answer the question? Sorry, can you repeat the question? The question is your deal with I-Hart expires at the end of this year. Are you going to renew with I-Heart? Why not? I don't like to talk business. It's not the place to talk business. We're having a business of media conference.
Starting point is 03:49:13 We have a lot of time to decide that. So we'll let you know on December 31st at 11th. Is this his wife or like his business partner? I don't know. 59 p.m. Well, you guys are kind of alluding, though, is that you're talking around. Like, your option are-
Starting point is 03:49:28 No, I'm not eluding to nothing. Okay. I said I'm weeping. Oh, it's Carrie Flynn. Who's that? That's an interviewer. Who was this person? Oh, Dolly Bishop.
Starting point is 03:49:49 Who's that? Who's a... Oh, I guess she helps run Black Effect Podcast Network. Okay. All right. he kind of like evades it and then he talks about it in like a behind the scenes like live stream with um the breakfast club hey gwen yeah shawler what lick we about to hit i don't know man things tight out here in these streets man you see what's happening man you know what i don't know i
Starting point is 03:50:37 don't know any lick's about to be hit man i think everybody should just be happy to be making a living that's what my mom always told me my mom always said you know just be happy to be making a living I'm just happy to be making a living. Okay? Mm-hmm. Somebody says, Shala, you're going to sub to Enby's foot? Only fan. And we might have to.
Starting point is 03:50:55 We don't know what this going to look like after this week. I told him, I said, yo. You see what's happening in these streets? I said, if he gets serious, I'm back to Onlyfans with my feet, babe. What's up with your voice? My boy, I still got a cold, man. He'll be about that nose job over the holiday. No, shut up, man.
Starting point is 03:51:08 He getting that nose job. I never got no damn nose job. He better stop. Because he sound crazy. Remember when he got that nose job, and then he came back talking about, um, he had get his nose cleared out or something crazy. I did not get no damn nose job. They're crazy.
Starting point is 03:51:19 Somebody said they thought Tia I got a brain surgery. That's wild. Damn! That is wild. Somebody said if we get fired, they'll be so hurt. Oh, and gee. Okay, so I guess this is where he's.
Starting point is 03:51:28 Hey, that's a good run, guys. That is so wild. I'm just exactly. That's crazy. You're crazy. We ain't going away, but it's a great run. Well, Jess is already home, so she's halfway there. You know what I'm gonna.
Starting point is 03:51:43 All right. Halfway there. No. Trust me, I know. Shit, I ain't stupid. I know. Somebody said, do we know something that we don't? We don't know nothing.
Starting point is 03:51:51 Nobody knows nothing. Nobody. Okay. So, I want to add some context to this. Showman's a very smart guy. He's also a company guy. He loves I-Hard. I-Hard loves him.
Starting point is 03:52:02 I think, I don't believe for a second, and this might be the leverage that I-Hard has on him. Because of the Black Effect Network. which if you look up, you know, the, there was some news that came out recently about podcasts and IHeart. You know, this will tell you, look, so Netflix and IHeart is nearing a podcast deal. Netflix has been trying to make big moves. They're trying to acquire HBO.
Starting point is 03:52:37 HBO Max. They're trying to acquire a bunch of shit, not only just HBO. What else? What are it trying? Let's see. Netflix, HBO. They're trying to acquire a bunch of, oh, Warner Brothers.
Starting point is 03:52:53 Warner Brothers, HBO Max, right? And they're trying to acquire all of this shit, right? HBO, I don't know if it's final, but HBO Max, Warner Brothers, and a mega deal. They're also doing a deal with IHeart for a podcast deal, right? And it says videos to be pulled from YouTube. Let's read this. It's from the anchor.
Starting point is 03:53:16 Netflix. has notched a victory in his battle to take on YouTube. And no, I'm not talking about his winning bid to acquire Warner, which we all know is far from a done deal. This subscription giant is nearing a deal to bring a slate of iHeart media video podcasts and subscribers and according to multiple sources with the agreement. As part of the deal, I'm told those shows will not distribute full episodes on YouTube. Now, why is this important?
Starting point is 03:53:44 Charlemagne has a catalog up there. Charlemagne's the Bill Simmons for Iheart as Bill Simmons was for like, was it ESPN necessarily, or at least like, there's some like network, right? This is why I believe that Charlemagne's work at the breakfast club or with Iheart. It's not about his on-air talent anymore. Charlemagne is highly entertaining when he wants to be. And by the way, you know, sometimes we give him some flag because you're like,
Starting point is 03:54:12 bro, you're too woke. you're doing this mental health stuff. But any time he needs to, like, charge it up, he does. And he's really talented. He's, again, he's, he's like, he's my goat. He's, or one of my goals when it comes to, like, media. Like, the guy's good. I don't think I heart is keeping him there because of his talent anymore because
Starting point is 03:54:33 Charlemann is, he's measured there. He's not crashing out no more. He's not doing the things to go viral. He's having honest and regular and measured conversations. He's not trying to get viral moments. He's not sniffing seats. He's not making people cry. He's not doing none of that.
Starting point is 03:54:49 What he's doing is doing a really good job of showing his range. So that's not why I think they would keep him on air because he's not getting viral moments like that anymore, even though they still have good guess. Why I think they would keep him on air. Okay. They would keep Charlemagne on air because. of how powerfully is in that building. Now, granted, let's look at the Black Effect podcast, right? Now, there's a bunch of scrubs on there, too.
Starting point is 03:55:28 But he does have a good catalog. Like, some of these people we don't know about, right, he does have big facts, right? Poor minds, I've just seen Joe Button on it. He has that too. He has 85 South Show, all the smoke. You know, there's a bunch of like, You know, losers on here too.
Starting point is 03:55:50 Like, you know, um, let me see. Some of these people I don't know that well. Oh, drink champs is on here. I don't know. Is drink champs really hitting like that anymore? But whatever. Like, he has this fucking loser on here. But he kind of has a decent,
Starting point is 03:56:08 he has a decent catalog of people that fold up under. Which, by the way, what's the difference between big facts and perspective with banks? Isn't bank on both podcasts? Or I'm not sure. No. So if we kind of scroll down, and the Breakfast Club is also under Black Effect, I think that's part of the deal. Not going to lie. I don't know what the budget would be,
Starting point is 03:56:32 but I have to imagine that this is a decent look for Charlemagne. Okay? Now, granted, it's not like having a Joe Button podcast on there, but 85 South shows no slouch, even though I think most of their views should come from YouTube. They're under Black Effect. I think Charlemagne's worth at Eyehart is going to be Black Effect podcast, which makes him, if you ask me, Charlemagne is an executive playing ball. So when y'all is saying, will his contract be redeemed?
Starting point is 03:57:10 I think y'all are being simple-minded. Y'all should say what happens to Black Effect? Because here's the thing. even if Charlemagne gets $3 million a year, right? Say they're paying $3 million a year. Even if he's not giving no moments on the mic, because you could use Charlemagne to recruit new podcasts, right? Like, bro, I didn't want to sign a deal.
Starting point is 03:57:39 Charlemagne came to me or he hit me and he put me with his people and I put him with my people. And it was like, yo, act, I want to talk to you about Black Effect. I don't want to sign no deal. I'm good. but Charlemagne's my guy we all look up to Charlemagne he's a goat I think I heart
Starting point is 03:57:57 needs Charlemagne they need him to go get people in if they're ever trying to get into this culture that we're in they need Charlemagne so when people say that they think he's going to be like
Starting point is 03:58:11 let go like what's some bum-ass thing his name e-bumbing rosendweeb no he's not going to It's a lot of things have to be figured out And I'm not gonna say it's gonna be it's gonna be easier fine But there's a lot of shit to be discussed
Starting point is 03:58:27 So this idea You know I think they're playing playing it up I don't think they're serious What the Bible say? Nobody knows the day nor the hour Y'all don't get that Y'all can't see that yet chat Nobody knows nothing to upbrook Nobody know the day nor the hour
Starting point is 03:58:43 Okay Jast did it's no one Baltimore I don't know if it's no way I live at So yeah, we got a couple inches up here. Ned D.C. I'm, Ned D.C. Stop banging the table, y'all. Yo, somebody, this was funny. Somebody said Radio Rico.
Starting point is 03:58:59 I think this is what I would like to do. You know, at the end of the year, we do all these year-in reviews, right? All these year-in reviews of, like, albums and stuff like that. You know what we need to do in 2025? Do a year-in review of all the bullshit stories that bloggers and other podcasters and everybody told y'all that we're not true. Because y'all be just letting That's why I put Radio Rico
Starting point is 03:59:21 Like y'all be letting these people say anything And then when it don't happen Y'all just be Y'all forget about it I agree there's no Radio Rico That sentiment came from people thinking That DJ envy was going to fold up with his friend And I forgot the guy's name
Starting point is 03:59:38 That were scamming people for You know If you want a mortgage Or like somehow shit I forgot what it was But I think think that's what that was. But if we actually, at the end of the year,
Starting point is 03:59:52 the compilation of all the lies that these podcasters and these YouTubers and these bloggers and everybody tell you about, that would be better than any other year in wrap-up. We need to do the year and bullshit. Let's do that. Who want to do the year and bullshit? You want to do that?
Starting point is 04:00:04 Let's do the year and bullshit, and we rank the top 10 biggest caps of the year from everything, for everything. Podcasts, because, you know, here's the thing, everybody got to create content. Everybody got to create content. Every day they're either going live They got to do a podcast every week.
Starting point is 04:00:19 But they don't care about what they tell y'all. As long as it gets traction, it's actually hilarious. My favorite thing to do is listen to these YouTubers who don't know what the hell they'd be talking about. But it's just like, who's going to check them? They don't know nothing, and they're talking to a bunch of other people who don't know nothing, so y'all believe it. But at the end of the year, we need to do a year and bullshit wrap up.
Starting point is 04:00:37 When you hit... Clearly, y'all practice bad habits, all right? All right. There's another clip. In the snow on top of that. and ain't in the snow on top of that and ain't speaking it on us speaking on you la la la la you god do not like that's what god do not like that's all good now one call me back and i ain't want to call them at the end year old corporations oh and it's jenuary we so we we
Starting point is 04:01:05 are already okay is this a full clip is this a full clip y'all i'm trying to see you good all the time and i'm telling you right now Now, here we go. Now, I think so. Somebody said, why give them light to the false stories? It's not about... Now, I think so. Somebody said, why give them light to the false stories?
Starting point is 04:01:49 It's not about giving them light. I just think that, you know, like y'all was taught, somebody earlier was talking about the panel we did with the New York Times a couple weeks ago. And the first question that was asked of us, you know, is can you trust the media? And, you know, somebody said it depends how you're defining media, right? Because there is different types of media nowadays. But for the stuff that y'all consume all the time,
Starting point is 04:02:10 on you know YouTube and everything else I think that y'all should know who's telling the truth and who's not and I want to say this to all of those people you wonder why you're not growing you think you're growing but you're really not you wonder why you're not growing it's because people can't trust you if you become a source that people can actually trust true if you get it right more times than you get it wrong if you're not actually lying to people I promise you things will constantly continue but the problem is they think they're growing right because they might be growing a little bit financially and we see it with a lot of these blogs. A lot of the times they're lying, right? And they start, they lie so much, they start believing in their lies. I don't think they're growing financially. I think they make a couple of dollars off YouTube. I think it's the attention they get.
Starting point is 04:02:52 That's what I think they like. That's it to the attention. Y'all like the attention. Y'all like being in headlines. Y'all like people. Because you can tell, right? Because there's some people who they never used to want to be on camera. And you can tell when people start to feel like they're getting a little bit of attention
Starting point is 04:03:07 because now all of a sudden they want to be on in front of the camera. You know what I'm saying? It's like, no, you actually probably need to go back to hide. Yeah. Anybody who really does this, I don't understand why you even want the stress of not talking about things that's real. I'd be so stressed out when I do something wrong. Because I'd be stressed. They have a definition of it.
Starting point is 04:03:23 They call it trolling. No. You see what I'm saying? I don't know how you live your life. They're not even trolling. They're lying. I troll. Yeah, but for some trolling is a lie.
Starting point is 04:03:32 But you don't see these people in real life ever. But people lie. But the problem with the lie is people want to believe it. Like they want to believe it because they want something to talk about. You see what I'm saying? Okay, box Benji said pop off with some names, bro. No, y'all give me some names right now. And I'll tell you if I'm talking about these people.
Starting point is 04:03:49 Give me some names. See, this is what I mean when I say I'll blame y'all. Y'all know who'll be lying? Give me some name. Give me some names. Give me some names. Give me some names. Y'all keep putting Ebro in there.
Starting point is 04:03:59 I don't know what Ebro talks about or none of that. That's not on my mind. But for instance, the clear one to me, I'll say one. Dame Dash. He came up here and he made up a lot of statement. that weren't true. I'm talking about the bloggers. Oh, we could do the bloggers all day.
Starting point is 04:04:12 Hey, I'm going to tell you something. Y'all saying academics, that's not true. Act be more, act is more right than he is wrong a lot of times. Now, talk to him, Shala. Act has an opinion. Talk to him, Sharla. And, you know, you can be wrong about your opinion,
Starting point is 04:04:27 but I be hearing Act say things because Act really do be getting stuff from, you know, actual labels or, like, people close to it. He reaches out. Yeah. And let me clear this up. And again, I don't think this came from, this was definitely not from me. And I also made sure I checked because there has been this idea for Radio Rico. And I do know pages associated and affiliated and even owned by me have referred to this.
Starting point is 04:04:59 But I do want to make sure this is very accurate and clear. The idea for Radio Rico had nothing or had. has nothing and there is no link to the breakfast club to DJ envy to ebro to funk flex there is though an actual story that suggests that maybe the authorities are going to be investigating not just New York City radio radio in general for having influence by people who have money. Okay? So if we're talking about a possible radio
Starting point is 04:05:50 Rico and obviously anytime when somebody would be like, yo, yo, this is the freaky Rico. This is the freco. We're not saying this is a RICO for being freaky. This is just, that's how you're calling these charges. So is that accurate? Yes. The federal authorities and other investigating bodies
Starting point is 04:06:12 are looking into some of these things that we think are, you know, they're looking at it as maybe he's peola, maybe he's whatever, and that would be the radio recal. What I want to clarify, and by the way, I want to give the credit to DJ envy and also Charlemagne the God, because, again, I don't know where this has emanated from, but because I, again, they're right. I get real information.
Starting point is 04:06:44 I'm not just saying shit. I've never co-signed, agreed with, or stood on, oh, DJ Envy's about to get, because that's where I think this is boiling up at. People thought, oh, DJ Envy's about to get arrested for Rico. No. The only thing with DJ envy, that's a criminal matter, that people seem to care about, is the whole thing that DJ Envy was working with some guy named Caesar Pena in real estate, which, by the way, the feds have investigated DJ Envy.
Starting point is 04:07:22 They took his phone. He gave it up willingly. And they still haven't came with charges, which means whatever they accuse him of, they must be at least okay with that to not charge him. and they could have charged him and offered them a deal. Okay? Reach out. Yeah.
Starting point is 04:07:46 See, now, now, okay, I see a big liar on the page right now. Okay. Um, uh, uh, I do love Drake now. That is true. Okay. He's going to arrive for his guy. That is absolutely true. Um, they're not really putting no names on him.
Starting point is 04:08:06 No, they're not, not nobody I know. I only saw one that I know that I can. confirm it's big cap but y'all know that already that that one don't even count like like y'all know that one is I might do that list man top five biggest lies told this year oh on breakfast club no not just on breakfast club just in general like I mean I listen here's the thing you know what no you know what giving people platform about some things though Lauren give a good point that should say Lauren's wig will be laid properly you did that no I did we've already talked about that
Starting point is 04:08:40 Lauren brings up a good point. I can't confirm or deny anything about anybody else too much. I can only confirm or deny the stuff about us for real. You know what I'm saying? Yo, okay. And by the way, this isn't like they're online, they're on-air broadcast. This is like a live stream they do to engage with followers a little bit more.
Starting point is 04:09:05 Remember I told you about Hot 97? They're just antiquated. They never adjusted. Breakfast Club, not only are they streaming all their segments, or not streaming, but they're posting all their segments and also interviews. They also want to, like, you know, kind of get in the mix. Like, oh, let's reach out to the people. That's why they're doing these podcasts.
Starting point is 04:09:27 Yeah, I'll play a little bit more. Good. All the time. There you go. Not what people. Oh, this is what I was trying to say. Yo, respectfully, Charlamagne is no longer a player. And Charlemagne, if you hear me say this, I'm not being mean.
Starting point is 04:09:45 I'm not, you know, I love you. But the reason why I say Charlamagne is not a player is because I think Charlemagne is a, he's a top three media personality of all time. I would call him the goal for me, but like I get when people bring up other people that wasn't that privy about, I get why that might be a discussion.
Starting point is 04:10:06 Charlemagne is an executive at this point. He's just acting like a player. So I hope you get what I'm saying. Charlamagne is an executive. He's just kind of like play caning as a player because the cool points matter. But it's been a long time since, you know, the reason why somebody I might be like,
Starting point is 04:10:37 yo, oh, Charlemagne used to be this thing, used to be that. Yeah, he can't be that anymore because he's an executive. The brand relies on them. Not here. We've had. You create content. You put it on social media. It goes to YouTube.
Starting point is 04:10:58 And then I like what the, you know, the Jake Paul, people like 85 South Show, like people who, Drewski, you know, people who have taken what it is. They were doing online and then all those new media spaces. And then taking them to other places. Like, you know, people forget, 85 South Show got a, had a number one, number one. special on Netflix. You know what I mean? That's dope to me. Yeah, but not only that, you know, here at the Breakfast Club,
Starting point is 04:11:26 we've given a lot of these people a real honesty and a real platform to say what they want to say. Like all those people that you said have been up here before they started. Remember how early on DC Young Fly was up here? Okay. All right. Yeah, that's interesting.
Starting point is 04:11:48 You see what's happening, man. Y'all forget about it. But if we actually, at the end of the year, Did a compilation of And the snow on top of that And the snow one top of that And ain't nobody checking on us They see everything that's going on in New York radio
Starting point is 04:12:01 But ain't nobody checking to make sure we all right Okay, we don't know what's going to happen next I'm speaking that on us Speaking it on you La la la God do not like that. That's all good, Taylor Now somebody somebody on the other day
Starting point is 04:12:17 was like 911 call me back And I ain't gonna call them back Because I knew what it was I knew what it was How many minutes we ever I knew what it was. Oh, great, okay. All right.
Starting point is 04:12:26 They just basically keep talking. All right, cool. All right. So, yeah, we'll figure out what's going on with the Burrifice Club, but I do have high hopes for them. I really don't think it's the end of most creators. Okay? Let me see.
Starting point is 04:13:07 He put his tongue out. Man, he was dicked out. He was dicked out. That's what we call that. He dicked out. You know what I'm saying? Hey. And it's a 44-45, but I'll never find out, bro.
Starting point is 04:13:21 All the nine say we got ponies and dikes in the city with kids, fellas. Portrait, man. You know, see y'all seen the picture with fit me and did in the pool together. Yeah, we've seen it. Man, listen, this is what I believe. Let me take a picture real quick. Be wrong, but this is what I believe. If you're really up there, up there in Hollywood, the industry where they're going to be
Starting point is 04:13:38 rapping, singing, rapping or whatever, you're going to do some gay stuff. Yeah. Straight up. Yeah. That's how they get out. They're going to get out. They're going to make you an awful. That's their thing.
Starting point is 04:13:47 They're going to make you an awful. It must be after a 2000 things or something. I don't know. It probably been like I would have played like that, Ron. Chase the dog, the biggest friend was followed. Yeah, that was five. You're going to tell my time, I'm going to do the biggest fruit than you've ever seen. And then you get the bill, you charge it the biggest thing. That's phony.

Starting point is 04:14:16 Like, nobody don't tell puppy. But you'll buy your trick on the girl with the money. You know, you're true. I don't the niggas do that for you. You know what I'm saying? Just a little phony shit like I got you going to handle somebody that's deceased and they're going to take my money. Yeah. Man.
Starting point is 04:14:29 They ain't going to credit for it. They didn't want the credit for it. Right. You know what I'm saying? Giovanni said mocked by it. Jaguar woke my nerves. This is what Giovanna said. Jaguar worked my nerves.
Starting point is 04:14:41 She needs to stop talking. She was quiet before she could close her mouth. Now that's called condoning actions. Well, they put a, she got, she gets sued by a lot of people from running their mouth and saying shit crazy. like that, you know what I'm saying? But she didn't mean too long. Too long. Latani said, did Ridge ain't full a gun on, Princess?
Starting point is 04:14:58 I saw that episode, and she said, you put a gun on me and my baby. Oh, wow. No, she said that he pulled a gun on her. Oh, wow. On her, and her friend. He was drunk in that business. I ain't a lie.
Starting point is 04:15:11 See, Princess, you was a waste of a good, beautiful woman, but I just mess with those fake-haired nigginsic, like undercover shit back. I don't know. I won't hear that. Okay. So, I guess I'm trying to say,
Starting point is 04:15:26 bro, it's like, at the end of the day, I don't believe that's a charlemagne narrative at all. You're going to have to show me. Don't believe it.
Starting point is 04:15:35 Uh, real quick. Yo, NLEC chopper, man. I don't know what's going on with you. I know you are trying to bait my man, young boy,
Starting point is 04:15:48 into an argument. Again, I'm not picking a side there, but, you know, I am looking at you. And I'm saying, hey, listen, and I've given you the prescription before.
Starting point is 04:16:00 I say, you made a song that's creative. Young boy's not the guy who's trying to beat you with creativity. His music come across as, I'll kill you. Okay? So anyway, NBA young boy, if you guys don't know, he did drop a song and he seemingly had responded to that whole long song
Starting point is 04:16:26 that N.A.L.A. Choppe dropped. And if you don't remember that song, let's see. Let's see we can find a clip. By the way, I think this is a clip of him actually recorded. Can bite this shit out for all the real niggas, the house and the field niggas. A trio nigger. I rock nation steel nigger.
Starting point is 04:16:54 I cut the head off the snake. How I deal with him? Okay. Now, young boy had responded And young boy had responded in the song Seemingly Called Something IQ
Starting point is 04:17:10 It's called something IQ Let's see Okay, this is it Find it in this short-ass clip Jesus Christ Edit all the audio Okay, anyway Young Boy had mentioned something
Starting point is 04:17:46 in the lyrics and the lyrics essentially said this. Okay, so everybody thinks he's talking to, um, Enali choppy says, respondent to some nigger who ain't never ran some shit down. I mean never ran and down bitch I said no. I'm a respond to him. Me never ran and down.

Starting point is 04:18:47 You know Before he deleted I ain't going to respond to me Because I ain't read nothing down Oh yeah And I ain't Hey Jett I ain't let nothing slide
Starting point is 04:18:59 But I heard it all I heard through the Graveine Somebody said That ain't gonna spawn to me Cause I ain't ran nothing down Man have anybody Have any one of you fool-ass niggas ever look the other way
Starting point is 04:19:14 And said man who have you ran down You feel me Who have you Rang down You feel me We're not talking about What other niggas Doing around you

However, Enel Echapa is saying, yo, I got a good point. Now, he made a whole song and, like, he's doing choreography and all that type of stuff. And I think he expects to have a little bit more.
Starting point is 04:21:02 But the reality of it is that, man, nobody gives the fuck like these days like these songs that used to be these artists of songs they used to be like lasting where people cared it's seeming more and more regular where people do not care okay
Starting point is 04:21:20 so Ellie chopper actually made a video and the video he made he actually made it to actually let me just stop LHL. Wait before that let me play young boy's side.
Starting point is 04:21:39 So young boy, and I don't know how he got the time for this, but essentially they're saying young boy responded to the longtime feud with Enali Chapa when he said this. Give me a second. I just see you know what the fuck. Wait, I can't find me. I literally saw it earlier. But whatever. Okay.
