KRAKs and we got like big big fucking subs on the floor it's all padded and yeah when I bought this house this was a library I converted it's all good so this is a full on studio

and we have like a $3,000 mic it's actually over there so it's fully capable of recording anything we want when I was going on a little act path which by the way a little act might make a comeback I was definitely invested in. And also, I'm an audio file. Okay, if you don't know, over there, that's just decoration.

There's a full on, there's a full mixer there, and there's a DJ equipment. I forgot the CD, it's not CDJ's, it's a pioneer. Anyway, the best DJ equipment there. And of course, you know, in the back, hell, yeah, I see the Jamaican flag. Well, well, wait, there. Anyway. So, yeah, this is a studio that I record out of it. I don't know if you know.

I'll tell you why I was having audio issues. I figured it out, but I'm still troubleshooting a little bit. So first of all, I use, there's a huge rack over here that works with the studio shit, but then stream doesn't use a studio equipment. It routes it through some call, I don't even name the equipment. But the equipment, what I think happens is because where I live at is kind of remote. It's just a bunch of mansions here. So at times there's power loss because there's like, you know, it's like the city,

then you go into a bunch of woods and that's where I live at. So we'll lose power sometimes. Apparently, I think the power surges, it'll fuck up my main equipment to send sound. So if you ever notice my sound gets weird, it's because it fried, like some power surge fried my equipment. So essentially I have to switch out the equipment, but I don't even think it's the equipment. I think it's like the little power cable thing. I'm going to troubleshoot that later. So we should be good now

Because I put a new one there I usually order like four of them They're like 400 dollars a piece But whatever But I really think it's the power supply I think the power supply When I lose power and I gain power Like there's like 600 amps

I guess we should start with the fallout of this idea of Drake doing this 20V1. Now I'm going to hit you with a bunch of clips. There's no need to hit you with it. So when you kind of mention people about to turn 40, you're talking to me. Or you might be like, I was listening to you at 31. Now I'm 45. And maybe I share some of the similar things that people like Wayno or, you know, Charlemagne or whoever was saying about Drake. I don't want to make this a age-specific thing. But I do want to give an explanation and I don't need to play a clip. So let me explain.

When I'm explaining, before I get into it, I hate that I have to give a, just a blanket. it's almost of a I have to what is it call why I just live my mind it's the oh disclaimer sorry

I hate that I got to give a disclaimer because everyone thinks that I'm only saying this because me and Drake are cool it's not it's not and and I guess I'm going to choose my words a little bit wisely because I think some of these media members think they're

bigger than the program in a sense of they think that, you know, it's all about what they said as opposed to the general sentiment. So let me just make this clear. I noticed a couple years ago, it's been probably for me about like seven, eight years ago that the way Drake is operating with his career is that Drake is constantly seeking, or, you know, well, I'm going to use the word seeking. He might not. he wants to still appeal to the current audience that shifts culture.

Who is the current audience that shifts culture? The ones that make up the TikTok dances, the ones that make up all the slangs or the lingoes, like there's, you know, all the catchies. He still wants to be a thing with them. Every artist, and I've said this years ago, you know, I wonder if I ever, well, I wonder if I ever told you who gave me this, but it was really profound and I really respected it when they said it.

I think I could. I'll say it now. It was my man Steve Stout. Me and me and Steve Stout was on, you know, we always rapped about the industry, you know. Steve Stout loves me, I love him, you know, United Masters, even though he does rock with Jay, but it's okay. And at one point he said to me,

this was when Drake was dropping two C slide. I think that song is about like close to 10 years old. And he says, you know what, Drake right now is at a fork in a road. And I said, what do you mean? He said, and I want to give him credit for the statement because I believe he was right. I still believe he's still right.

He says, well, Drake is going to have to pick two choices, between two choices. He's going to have to age gracefully with his audience and age out of some of the things that the kids or the contemporaries, the current, might want him to be or do. Or he's going to be trying to appeal to the contemporary and the updating changing of the country. culture, but here's the thing. With that, that is, you know, because people don't want to admit hip hop, yes, the people with money and hip hop are 30 plus. Let me break down demographics.

The people with money and hip hop are 30 plus. Spending power, 30 plus. Attention power, 18 to 25. Actually lower. 16 to 25. The people in the middle, 25, like plus that like to 32 or whatever you know who those people are those people are when it's convenient it's almost like you know it's a middle culture that doesn't really matter

that much so you either want the youngest of audiences that's going to be spamming you all day the NBA young boys that got them think about other artists who have these rabid fam that they're young or you want the people who are a little bit older, but we're not too old, because now they got jobs, they've had it for a couple years, they got two promotions, they might even have a kid,

they might have a bitch, but they could now spend $300 on your concert ticket. Do you understand what I'm saying? Put it in perspective. Young boy just said, his tour, he gained $1.5 million. By the way, he sold every fucking seat. They went in multiple times to say,

Those areas were blocking out because when a niggis standing there, they could only see half the stage because there's a big thing in front of them or the stage is like they could only see half a young boy. They opened that up for young boy because people didn't care. They wanted to see young boy. So the money he made, $1.5 million on average per show, is selling every fucking ticket because people knew that shit was popping. Here's the difference with Drake.

Drake is going into these arenas pulling that $4 million. the same arenas. Four million dollars. Why? Because his audience, on average, is going to spend $300. Young boy's audience is spending 80 bucks on average.

These are rough estimates. Don't hold me to them. But that's the point. So why did I tell you that? Well, I told you that for a reason. Because when I mentioned J. Cole last rappers, he's appealing to, I think,

the dead zone. The niggies with a job. the niggas who aren't super invested but they're also not super rich or they're not their financial peak let's just say it let's not say super rich and the fork in the road go back to that that analogy is that I can and mark my words

If I was the person who felt I had or my opinion about his career is that he got to do X, Y, and Z to grow like X, Y, and Z or he got to act his age, I would have hopped off the bandwagon. Damn near 10 years ago. Drake for the last 10 years has not given whatever people think is the natural growth of an MC and as a man and go get married and start tailing. Drake is still the same person I would argue that you guys were introduced at when he was 26, 27. I forgot what album he dropped then. It's the same guy.

So now let me give the update on what's going.

And I was down to talk about it on there. But you know what? Charlemagne knew all the accusations, but he didn't want to talk about any of the resolutions. The resolution is this. If you are someone who signs up with stake.us, okay? So if you're listening to my voice and you're within the United States,

you would probably use stake.us. There is a terms of service, and when you sign that terms of service to be able to deposit, to be able to even gamble, it says this one thing. If you have a problem with steak, whether, you know,

It says, if you have a problem with them, you go to arbitration. arbitration. You go to basically a private judge who listens to both the y'all and he kind of tells you what's going to happen. So you don't go through the regular court system. Why do people do that? Because it also protects like big companies or whatever from a lot of things being exposed and things being public. But the point is when you sign up for stake, you automatically agree to this terms of arbitration. What does that mean? Your lawsuits ain't going nowhere. It's going to go to the main court and the main court then going to just toss it out and send it to arbitration.

So in Virginia, they tossed that out. They said, hey, we're taking off the active docket, go through arbitration and figure it out. Okay? So it means there's a separate private process that you could go through with stake and let's see what happens. But it's not public anymore. Cool. Here's the second thing that happened.

There was eight people. Eight people. that ended up being a part of this class action lawsuit. According to what stake submitted, state submitted that only two of the people actually ever made accounts. Keep in mind, if you said you're injured by stake, that means you've had an account, you've gambled, and that's how you've gained some injury or some loss that you are now suing for.
