The state of your nervous system determines the frequency that you are tuned to, and that frequency determines what you attract into this life.
And if that sounds crazy to you, there are studies that show that the same actions taken with a different energy lead to different results.
Most people think that they need to do more in the physical world to get more results.
Be more productive, be more focused, be more motivated.
But they don't realize that the state of their nervous system is what determines the direction of their lives.
It's what determines what you're even able to experience in this life, what your brain filters for, what your brain motivates you to do, the thoughts that pop into your brain, the choices that your subconscious makes before you even realize.
If you are neglecting your brain, you can take all of the action that you want and force all of the discipline that you want and you may never get the results that you desire.
The house, the car, the love, the relationship, the joy, the fulfillment.
You can take all the action that you want, but if your brain and nervous system is not aligned for what you want, you may never get it.
But when your nervous system is in the correct state and your brain is actually wired for what you want,
subconscious reprogram to match that of your desires, the same action will actually get you better results.
And I want to tell you the neuroscience behind why that is and give you a few tools as well so that you can start to shift your nervous system to become that match for whatever it is that you desire.
So the science here really comes down to one fundamental thing that you don't experience reality.
You experience your brain's version of it.
Everything that you have ever experienced has been constructed by your brain.
I remember when I first learned about the black box analogy.
It kind of blew my mind and changed my perspective on the way we think the world works.
Imagine your brain exists inside of a black box, which it does, by the way.
And the only information it receives is through your five senses.
So as you go around navigating life, right, your brain just takes in the information of these five senses.
How in the world is it going to build whatever you're experiencing?
How is it going to do that?
Well, it's going to take that information in from your five senses and filter it through your programming.
your beliefs, your current state, the state of your nervous system. It's going to filter it through
your identity, the model of who you are, your past experiences, and then it is going to build
your current experience, your present experience. I remember the first time that I heard it
phrased exactly like this, but you don't see the world with your eyes. All your eyes do is just
take in light signals and then those light signals traveled through the brain or your thoughts,
memories, emotions and beliefs are all incorporated before the image is even put together that you see.
You don't see the world with your eyes. You see the world with your brain. And that's not just true
for vision. It's true for your entire experience of reality. There are studies that show that we can
change your perception of the way something tastes through rewiring, not changing the chemicals
in the tea or the receptors in your taste buds through literally changing the relationship between the
receptor and your brain, the wiring. It is your wiring that determines your experience of reality,
not the chemical that hits your taste bud. They've shown that in studies. And that's just taste,
right? Every single sense is the same way. And we know this to be true as well because every single
one of us has a unique experience of reality. I mean, this is why science shows that no two people
see color the exact same way.
because no two people have the exact same brain.
You can use that one.
You can use that one in your own personal life
because I've gotten into conversations before
where people, certain people will say to me,
oh, but isn't that that's red or pink or blue or green, right?
There's like those little arguments.
No, it's blue. It's green.
I'm just like, oh, your brain's putting it together wrong.
And me and my best friend have a phrase where they say,
oh, I'm sure that your pink is the same as my pink.
We see the same pink, but really, we know.
that no two people see color the exact same way. I actually used to work in a color vision lab where
I could map on a color plot the way different genotypes, different individuals would perceive the same
color fruit. Very interesting. And that's the first time that I saw for myself that, oh, okay,
so yeah, color is a cross. Well, and all of this, by the way, is just to say that color is a construct.
It's not even a physical property, a physical reality. It's actually a construct made up by your brain
in order to experience different wavelengths of life.
But, and I digress, we're going down a rabbit hole right now of the neuroscience of reality,
which we can cover in a different video.
Let me know if you want that video.
But really, it's important to understand the neuroscience of reality
when it comes to understanding how the state of your nervous system determines your frequency,
and that determines what you attract, right?
Because it's not just your brain that's constructing your experience, right?
It's your entire nervous system.
It is your interic nervous system, the nervous system, and your gut.
It's your peripheral nervous system, right?
Like somatics are so important.
Like your body is so important because emotions are actually stored in the nervous system
in your body as well.
So it's not just your brain we're talking about here.
We're talking about your entire nervous system.
And this is actually really important, right?
Whenever we're considering your frequency or your emotion, right, the state of your nervous
system.
And it can get even more interesting, right?
Because once you understand that your brain is constructing your entire experience of reality,
then you can begin to understand how when you are in different states, the reality you experience
changes. Let's say you are stressed, anxious. Well, now your amygdala is overactive. It's turned on.
It's fired up, which is the fear, emotional center of the brain. It's highly associated with fear,
stress, anxiety, the amygdala. When you're stressed and anxious, that amygdala is hyperactive, right?
Now let's say that's the case for you. Maybe you're going to having an important conversation.
Well, after that conversation, you might walk away overthinking everything that you said or didn't say.
Let's say I'm stressed right now filming this video and I am anxious and I'm dysregulated.
For whatever reason, maybe I'm super exhausted or I'm not properly fueling myself because the enteric nervous system in your gut plays a huge role in nervous system regulation.
But let's say I'm dysregulated and I'm stressed and I'm filming this video.
I might finish this video and uploaded and overthink everything.
that I said and think that it was terrible. And my brain will scan for possible things that I could have
said or done better. Everything that I did wrong, the mistakes that I may or may not have made.
This is one of the ways that the state of your nervous system determines your experience of reality
and what you attract into this life because your brain is also going to scan for problems.
This is the state of lack and limitation. Your brain is literally scanning for what could possibly go
wrong, what you don't have, searching for reasons to confirm your state. So that's a funny thing
about the brain and nervous system is that it's constantly searching for evidence, proof, reasons,
for why you feel the way that you feel. If you are stressed and anxious, it's going to look for
things in your reality to confirm why you're stressed and anxious. And then you might say,
oh, well, it's this thing that's stressing me out. No, you were already dysregulated and your brain
is actually searching for reasons to confirm why, to explain why. But the opposite is also true.
I don't want this to be all down in the dumpsters because the opposite is also true. When your
nervous system is regulated and you're in a good state and you're feeling really good, now you're
looking at the world through those rose-colored lenses. And your brain is literally constructing
color as more vivid because it does that when you feel good. Colors are more saturated, right?
And your brain's also going to scan for reasons to feel good. Those tiny little moments that
Otherwise, you might have missed now.
Your brain is like, oh, wow, this person just smile at me on the sidewalk.
What a beautiful day.
That's just evidence of today's going to be great.
Your brain is going to scan and filter reality for more reasons to feel good.
So all of this is to say that the real key to getting what you want in life is not necessarily
action.
It is the energy that you have behind the action that you take.
and this is why your energy is the most important thing in life.
It not only determines what you get in life, the results that you get in life,
but it also determines the way that you feel, right?
Life isn't all about getting things, achieving things, and getting more.
It's also about the way that you feel in the present, how you feel right now.
And your energy just shifts all of those things.
So let's talk about it.
So here are three of my top tips for tuning your nervous.
system to the frequency of what you want. Number one is short, sweet, simple, and to the point,
it is to regulate your nervous system. Because your brain puts together a different reality when you
are regulated versus when you are dysregulated. Your experience of reality is completely different.
When you're regulated, your brain filters for opportunities, possibilities. When you are dysregulated,
your brain searches for problems or potential threats. And this is because when your nervous system is
dysregulated when you are in fight or flight, you're constantly stressed or anxious.
Your brain's just trying to keep you safe, right?
Like your brain just wants to help you survive.
And so this isn't something to get mad at yourself for.
Like don't beat yourself up about it.
If you're always stressed, always anxious.
The first step is acceptance and self-love and stop beating yourself up and telling yourself
that you need to be different.
That alone can be so regulating.
Accepting yourself and loving yourself for who you are.
recognizing that yeah of course there's always going to be more that you want to do to better yourself
and change but there's always going to be more always the work is never done and that is a beautiful
thing because that means that there's always more to become life can then be a constant evolution
which is beautiful it's great like we the worst feeling in the world is being stuck and plateauing
that sucks make peace with that make peace with the fact that the work is never done and stop getting beating
yourself up for not being perfect right now you don't have to be quote unquote
healed completely to get what you want. A lot of times, the thing that you want, the relationship,
whatever it is, it actually helps to heal you. It actually teaches you lessons. I think relationships
are a great example of that. I digress. Regulating your nervous system is a process and it takes time.
It does take time, especially if you're chronically dysregulated, if you're chronically stressed,
if you're always rushing around, always feeling like you're in fight or flight and brain fog and
stressed, take it slow, take it one step at a time, start by slowing down and taking things
one step at a time. I have an entire video on so many different tips for regulating your nervous
system, so I highly recommend you check out that video. I will link it in the description below.
It contains a bunch of different tips for actions that you can take in real time, but also
things that you can start to practice on the daily that will help to regulate you.
Because when your nervous system is regulated, you are tuned to the frequency of
abundance. Your brain filters for more things that you want. You make better choices. The thoughts
that your nervous system pops into your head that your brain automates are better. You have more
motivation, more energy. Your intuition is actually more accurate. So you're more able to receive
creative insights and downloads. It's a great thing. So if that is something that you're
wanting to work on, definitely go check out that video. Number two is to rewrite your internal
narrative and identity. This includes your beliefs as well. Your internal narrative, your beliefs,
your identity, all of those are used to construct the model of who you are. And your brain uses
that model to predict your thoughts, feelings, choices. There are actually studies that show that your
brain activates pathways to motivate your choices before you're even consciously aware
of making that choice. Meaning that if your identity, like let's say you are trying to get fit and
healthy. You're trying to get super fit. You've never been fit before in your life. And your past looks like
you've never really been super fit. You've never really been one to go to the gym and and eat really
healthy. That's not really who you are. But you have this goal of being really fit. Let's say you
open the fridge. And your favorite dessert is sitting right there next to a salad. And maybe it's a delicious
salad. I don't know. Next to something healthy, maybe it's meat and vegetables. I don't want to
hate on salads. If it is part of your identity and the internal story of who you are, if it's
who you've always been to go for the dessert, your brain will actually motivate you to go for
the dessert without your awareness. And then you're fighting against your brain to achieve your goals.
This is why I always say the dopamine doesn't care about your dream. It cares about what you've
automated and what you've repeated and what you reward. This is why shifting your identity and
rewriting the internal narrative of who you are is so important because when you really rewrite that
internal narrative and shift your identity, your brain motivates you to take different actions. And this can
happen really quickly and it also happens over time. I have had clients that after one identity
shifting session with me, they go off and have the best week of the year in their business.
I have also had people quit lifelong bad habits and cycles after shifting their identity within a week.
I have clients that after shifting their identity are now fully sober.
So the possibilities are there for you, whether it be abundance, whether it be fitness and health, whether it be quitting some bad habits, identity shifting is so powerful.
When you shift your internal narrative, when you rewrite that story of who,
you are and you start to tell yourself something different when you identify as a new version of you
I was literally thinking of this song yesterday and it just popped into my head right now and so maybe
this is going to help you on your journey of rewriting your internal narrative and shifting your identity
that song by tame and Paula and it goes feel like a brand new person he might say same old
mistakes after that so maybe don't listen but the song that line that line can be the
affirmation. Feel like a brand new person. I was singing that line this morning because I'm actively
identity shifting again because I finished writing my book and I am like, all right, it's time to
level up again. And every single time I want to level up, I shift my identity. I'm like,
okay, where can I shift? Where can I level up? Where can I reinforce beliefs? This time, for me,
it's about my beliefs. And when I think of shifting my identity and when I'm asking myself, okay,
like, who is this new goal calling me to become or who am I wanting to become in this next level of my life?
I always look at a number of different factors, whether it be habits, beliefs, mindset, energy, confidence, right?
And I like to visualize this next level version of myself and really get to know who that is.
For me, this time, it was about my beliefs and I received that download actually while I was in a massage, which shableness.
out regulating your nervous system. Shout out parasympathetic restoration. Because when you take that
time to rest off of technology, distraction does not equal rest, by the way. But when you take that
time to do that, the downloads just start pouring in. And so anyway, for me, this time it was about
my beliefs. And so I took the time to sit down and really ask myself, what is this next level
version to me believe about myself? Now, belief is a biological advantage. I told you there was a study
that showed that the same actions with the different energy can lead to different results.
Right here, right now, during this point, I actually want to tell you about a study that was on job
interviews. So in this experiment, they took people and they had them go through a fake job interview,
all right? And they split these people up into two groups. First group of people, they had them talk
about a time they felt really powerful right before going into their interview. The second group of people,
they had them talk about a time they felt powerless right before they go into their interview.
And now the interviewers had no idea what this experiment was, what was going on, what were the
kind of methods. They didn't know, okay, what they were measuring in this experiment.
They interviewed the people and then they said whether or not they were likely to hire this person.
And what they found in this study was that the people who were primed for power, their brains,
were primed for power, their energies shifted because they felt more powerful.
These people were more likely to be hired in these interviews.
So all of these people were equally qualified, but it was their energy going into the interview
that determined whether or not they were hired.
I will leave you with this when it comes to this point, right?
Because when it comes to your internal narrative, the next level identity, your best self,
the beliefs that that version of you holds, lots of people have to do lists.
but not many people have to be lists.
Who do you want to be?
Because that is a great motivator, a great motivator.
At the end of the day, you can ask yourself, when you're tired, when you're stressed,
when you're maybe not feeling like doing what you know you need to do,
you can ask yourself, what would my favorite version of me do right now?
What would that version of me who has it all do right now?
And you're only able to do that when you have a clearly defined favorite self-identity.
And if you want to be coached by me, shift your identity,
reprogram your subconscious, rewire your brain, align your nervous system,
and unlock your next level, then check the description because I have all of the information
about that below.
And number three is to train your perception.
This is one of my favorite tools, and it will absolutely transform your reality.
It'll transform your brain and nervous system, and it'll transform your reality,
because if you want to see more blessings and abundance, love, joy, whatever it is that you're wanting,
if you want to see more of that in your reality, you need to train your brain to look for it.
And the beautiful thing is that with the power of neuroplasticity, which is the ability to rewire your brain,
the fact that your brain is absolutely adaptable, you are not stuck the way that you are.
And with the power of neuroplasticity, you can train your brain to filter your reality for what you want.
I did this experiment on myself recently where I started to practice something called
The Three Wonders of the Week.
And let me tell you, I have noticed insane changes over the past 30 days.
Like, not only in my physical reality, but in my internal reality.
I have unlocked a new level of joy and happiness and peace and fulfillment that I have
not experienced in a while through this practice.
Okay.
So I began to treat myself like a guinea pig.
like I always do and practice three wonders of the week. And what I was doing, and I actually,
I do this, I have this kind of journaling method where I have every single Monday, I start a new
notes folder on my phone. My laptop is all connected. And I basically just have like, for example,
I just put the date of whatever it is, like week of, let's say March 30th. That was this past Monday.
week of March 30th and all week whenever I have thoughts or ideas whatever it is I put it in this same
notes folder now the reason why I do this is because I am the type of person that has tons of ideas
tons of downloads all the time and I used to just put them in separate places all over I would
have notes and then I would be texting myself so I wouldn't forget or I would take a picture of
something and type it on the screen it was or I would literally take a video like this of myself
from like okay I'm you've got to remember this it was just
everywhere. Information everywhere. And it's not good for streamlining to have information all over the
place. It's just better for it to all be in one place. So now I have a weekly note where I put everything
throughout the week in one note. And it's beautiful because it all stays organized. It's all in one place.
And it's good because I can go back and be like, oh, what was I thinking about last week? And it's all there. It's
really incredible. So I highly recommend doing that. But the reason why I bring that up is actually because I started to do that with my
three wonders of the week. So I would have my weekly note and every time as I go throughout the week
and it ended up being way more than three. But as I go throughout the week, I actually would notice
and write down little things that I just found wonderful. For example, when I was meditating outside
next to my pool, laying in the grass and looking up at the sky and there was the bubbling of the
water in the pool and I was like, wow, it's so beautiful. And it really caught me in my tracks. I was like,
that's actually an incredible sound. Rode it down. The sunset wrote it down. And actually I found it
quite interesting because in the beginning, it didn't come so easily. I had to really think about,
oh, that's a wonder and really point them out and pay attention and do it on purpose. But what's
really interesting is now I'm at the point where I don't even try. Like, they're everywhere all
the time. I'm like experiencing so many wonders and my level of joy is just on cracked mode.
Training your perception is like changing the dial on the radio. When you change the frequency
of the station, you change the music that comes in. When you do you.
train your perception, you train your brain to filter reality for different things and you change
what comes in. You shift the experience that you have and it's incredible. So whatever it is that you're
wanting, whatever it is that you are working toward your goals, whether it be a physical thing or a
mental thing, whether it be more competence, more love, take the time every single day,
have that note all throughout the week, do it every week and take the time to notice
where those things already are in your life. Notice where you're already experiencing love, where you're
already experiencing abundance, where you're already experiencing opportunities. Notice where it shows up
in your life. At first, it might be difficult. Even right now, as you hear me talk, you might be like,
I don't experience those things. I don't have them. Prime your brain right now. Open up that notes file.
Title it, wonders, whatever it is that you're wanting, right? Evidence, whatever you want to
title it, open it up right now and start that list.
Write one thing that you could think of.
Again, it might be difficult over the next few days.
Just keep doing it.
But over the next few weeks, watch how your mindset and reality shifts.
If you made it this far, if you made it to the end, thank you so much.
I am sending you so much love.
I believe in you.
I am rooting for you.
You got this.
Have a great week and I will see you in the next video.
