Starting point is 00:00:29 China has moved on Taiwan. Chinese forces have surrounded the island, missiles have been launched, and Taiwan is asking for immediate American military support. Washington is preparing to respond, but there is a major problem. The United States does not have enough missile defenses left to fight this war the way we need to fight it. We have used a massive number of critical weapons in the Middle East and in Ukraine, and we are still tied down in Iran.
Starting point is 00:00:56 And these systems take years to replace, not weeks. China saw that. They watched us burn through our country. stockpiles. They watched our forces get stretched across multiple regions. And they just chose the perfect moment to take advantage in Taiwan. This is the headline CI analysts are terrified to see. And luckily, they haven't seen it yet. But they are preparing for it, because this scenario is not fantasy. It's as real as it gets. America is in fact running low on critical weapons. Earlier this week, Netanyahu met with President Trump to bring him new intelligence on Iran.
Starting point is 00:01:31 information that could push the United States into another round of attacks. At the same time, senior military officials are warning that if we continue this war, it could leave us dangerously exposed if another conflict breaks out. And that's the part that nobody's talking about. This isn't just about Iran anymore. This is about whether America is being pulled deeper into one war while our enemies plan for the next one. Because China is watching every missile we launch.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Russia is watching, North Korea is watching. And they are not asking whether America is strong. They are asking whether America is strong enough to fight two wars at the same time. Because the answer to that decides what will happen next. At the heart of this question is a military doctrine that's seen differently by China and the United States. This is a doctrine known as a war on two fronts. As far back as Sun Su in the art of war, China has always adhered strictly to the policy that if you're going to fight a war on two fronts, you have to have a very specific mathematical
Starting point is 00:02:33 advantage over your opponent. According to Sun Su, the minimum advantage you would need is a two to one superiority over your enemy. And if you had twice as many troops as your enemy, Sun Su suggests that you send half your troops to the front lines and the other half your troops you use to attack from the rear. But the art of war has other divisions as well. A 10 to one advantage means you completely surround your enemies. A five-to-one advantage means that you can directly attack your enemy from the center line of conflict. But if you are less than twice the size of your opponent, and especially if you are equally matched, you do not divide your forces. You do not fight a war on two fronts. This same lesson is largely accepted across the Western world and especially by our European allies after the
Starting point is 00:03:15 end of World War I. In World War I, the world watched as Germany tried to execute something called the Schlefen Plan. According to the Schifland Plan, Germany planned to attack France on one side and then immediately turn about face to use the same forces to attack Russia on the other side. Essentially, a war on two fronts in sequential order, not simultaneously. But as a result of poor planning, Germany did in fact end up fighting both France and Russia simultaneously during World War I, meaning that the Schiflund plan turned out to be a major strategic error, an error that Germany repeated in World War II and our European allies watched a second time. A war on two happens anytime you have your military forces divided, fighting two primary theaters of conflict simultaneously.
Starting point is 00:04:01 This creates all sorts of challenges militarily, logistically, and also diplomatically. Because what happened in World War I and World War II were that countries in between the two battlefronts change their allegiance and their engagement levels in the conflict. And that's something that can happen almost overnight, where moving logistics and managing troop movements takes much, much longer. This military doctrine against fighting a war on a war on the conflict, on two fronts is so powerful that it's taught in every war college across the allied nations. Every war college except one here in the United States. Here in the United States, we actually
Starting point is 00:04:37 maintain a doctrine that promises that the U.S. military can always support a war on two fronts. Our military forces and military capability are intentionally divided across the globe so that we are able to step up to any military conflict that might arise, even if it's two fronts on opposite sides of the world. But even while America claims to follow a two-front doctrine and be prepared to dominate military conflicts in multiple regions simultaneously, experts point at examples like Afghanistan and Iraq as proof that fighting a war on two fronts is guaranteed to lose both wars, which is in line with the doctrine that's being taught to our allies. So while the American military claims to have the capability to fight a war on two fronts, our actual history proves that we cannot maintain that tempo.
Starting point is 00:05:24 military analysts and researchers have ascertained that while we had rapid success in both Afghanistan and Iraq early on, it was the protracted nature of continued conflict that really wore down our military capability, the pressure on logistics, the pressure on manpower, and the political pressure of trying to convince the American people to maintain two long-term wars in the Middle East. And that was when we had two fronts in the same geographical region, completely different than what we have now, where we have a primary military conflict area in the Middle East and a rising conflict area in the Far East. And of all the countries paying attention to the discrepancy between American stated military capability and American demonstrated military capability, it's China.
Starting point is 00:06:09 If you haven't discovered your secrets by superpower, then somebody else might be using theirs against you. CIA teaches us that there are only three types of people in the world. Those who motivate, those who manipulate, and those who are being controlled by one of the other two. I created a three-minute CIA-style quiz to help you unlock your secret psychological advantage and identify your hidden blind spot. All you have to do is click on the first link in the description below or scan the QR code on your screen and you'll be taken directly to your private quiz. This test was developed to help you weaponize your natural-born gifts and use them to get ahead of 99% of people in power, wealth, and purpose. It was also designed to make sure that you can
Starting point is 00:06:52 protect yourself against those who would use their skills against you. I want you to discover your secrets by superpower and use it for good before somebody else uses their power against you. China's interests in Taiwan are unlike any American interest that we've ever experienced. China sees Taiwan as a reunification target. They see the island as land that has always belonged to China and simply needs to be reunified with China because it is currently under the control of separatists. And China has been implementing a solution to the Taiwan problem for many, many years. The first step in solving that problem actually happened in the 1990s, when China convinced the world of something known as a one-country two systems policy. A policy that said that while Taiwan may
Starting point is 00:07:37 claim to govern according to a different system, it was still part of the same country with China. And even today, you can see that countries do not diplomatically recognize Taiwan as an independent country. The idea of one-country two systems still persists. The second step in that solution is what Chinese leader Xi Jinping calls the Great China Project, a project that Chinese president Xi Jinping has consistently executed on since his time in power. Part of the Great China project are focused on trade and education and even increasing Chinese influence around the world. But a major part of the Great China project is focused on reunification with Taiwan, something that President Xi Jinping has promised by the year 2027. And if you look at China's activity against Taiwan in 26, it certainly appears that they are on schedule.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Not only did China heavily influence the January 26 election of the new Taiwanese president, but they are also heavily influencing the elections of multiple local leaders across the island even still today. China is in no hurry to launch a military campaign against Taiwan, if, if another option is available. But they are always doing the math to see if a military conflict is required. So let's consider some of what that math looks like comparing China to the United States. Keeping in mind that China is still culturally aligned with Sun Su's art of war, even though they have certainly taken on more modern military doctrines since then, let's just use Sun Su's military breakdowns of 10 to 1, 5 to 1, and 2 to 1
Starting point is 00:09:06 to determine how strong China is or isn't against the United States. When you consider nothing except size in eight different military strategic categories, you find an almost even match between the Chinese and the U.S. globally. China is larger in terms of military manpower, land power, naval power, and financial power. The United States is larger in terms of air power, natural resources, logistics, and geography. But just knowing whose larger doesn't answer the mathematical question that's at the heart of Sun Su's recommendations. Remember that Sun Su recommended that if you are equally matched or anything less than twice the size of your enemy, then you should not split your forces. You should not pursue a conflict on two fronts.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Focusing in on just military manpower, China currently maintains just less than two times the active duty military strength of the United States. But even though they have less than twice as many troops, they have four times as many people fit for service, and they have nearly six times as many people who reach military age each year. The number of fighting troops is incredibly valuable information when you consider the fact that the other strategic elements like air power, naval power, and land power are all driven by the men and women who would actually use the equipment that make it possible to execute air, land power, or naval resources. Which takes us next to the idea of financial power.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Without a doubt, the United States spends more money on military defense than the Chinese, to the tune of almost three times as much. The flip side to that is that much of America's spending is actually funded by external debt, meaning debt to foreign countries. And the United States carries a huge amount of that external debt, especially compared to China. In fact, the United States carries 24 times more external debt than the Chinese. But even more telling for considering a future conflict is not current debt or current spending, it's future capacity to spend, which means you have to look.
Starting point is 00:11:03 at current financial reserves. And when it comes to financial reserves, China is the wealthiest reserve country in the world, holding 300% more money in reserves than the United States. So in any future conflict, China would be able to outspend America $3 to $1. But the biggest indicator for how a conflict would play out in Asia if China chose to attack Taiwan is actually rooted in logistics, because the United States holds the most logistically capable foreign military in the world, meaning the United States can reach any part of the world very quickly compared to the speed that any other country could reach America. But that's why China and Taiwan is such an interesting case, because Taiwan is less than 150 miles
Starting point is 00:11:48 off the coast of China. So while the United States has the most capable military in the world of getting to Taiwan, the question is whether or not the logistical power of the United States can overcome the logistical advantage that China would have in prosecuting war 150 miles off its coast. Looking at this report from the Rand Organization, you can clearly see how American strategic advantages have been lost systematically from 1996 to 2017 as it pertains to carrying out a conflict against China. The closer you get to mainland China, the more America loses its military advantages. And the further away you get from the United States, the faster you lose American
Starting point is 00:12:27 support for any conflict that you do carry out, as evidenced in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and more recently, Ukraine and Iran. So here is my question to you. Do you think the United States is prepared to carry out a war on two fronts simultaneously in both the Middle East and the Far East? And if you believe that we are prepared to carry out a war on two fronts, do you believe that we will be successful in both fronts, one of the two fronts, or in neither front? These are the questions facing CIA analysts, military analysts, our foreign allies, even the American Joint Chiefs of Staff. Without a doubt, the world that we live in now is going through uncertain times, and our uncertain present is leading to questions that we need to answer to determine a more
Starting point is 00:13:14 certain future. And on this journey through uncertainty, I promise you that I will continue to share with you what CIA shared with me.
