The biggest secret in science right now isn't inside a classified intelligence program.
It's actually inside your own mind. For nearly a century, quantum physics has forced scientists
to admit something that is deeply uncomfortable to them. They still don't know what actually
causes reality to become, well, real. Some physicists have even argued that consciousness itself
might play a role. The question itself has become a major pillar of scientific research in
psychology, in sociology, and for very good reason. Because if you can shape reality, you can
control people. And this is precisely why CIA put so much time and energy into the MK Ultra
program in the 1960s. Unlike 99% of what you've already heard about MK Ultra, what I'm covering
today has nothing to do with science fiction or internet conspiracy theories. It has everything to do
with debates happening in front of the U.S. Congress right now. These are questions.
being raised by Nobel Prize winners, modern-day mathematicians, and the men and women that you have
elected to govern you. What is reality? Can it be manipulated and has it already been weaponized
by programs like MK Ultra? Today, I'm giving you CIA's answer to all three of those questions.
My name is Andrew Bustamante, and I'm a former CIA intelligence officer, New York Times bestselling
author, and viral internet voice. I spent seven years operating around the world with CIA's
National Clandestine Service, and now I teach spy skills that break barriers to unlock your peak
performance. I've had viral interviews with Diary of a CEO, Sean Ryan, Lex Friedman, Flagrant,
and many other top-tier podcasts and mainstream media outlets. If you've seen one of my interviews online,
go ahead and leave a comment below and tell me what you remember most. The spy skills I teach
have helped tens of thousands of people around the world, increase their income, decrease their
waistline, and shortcut their way to wealth, happiness, and even love. And today, I want to share
a new spy secret with you. So let's jump into question number one. What is reality? Never before in
history has this question been more relevant than it is right now. You see celebrities spending millions
of dollars pursuing psychedelic treatments that are designed to help them tap into their spiritual
reality, help them shed the confusion of what surrounds them in order to find real truth. You see,
the U.S. federal government approving experimental programs that use drugs like
MDT or ketamine to treat PTSD patients. And we're all surrounded by constant confusion and questions
related to things like AI and mainstream media, trying to understand what's real, what's fake,
and what's being presented to us to shape our perception of the world around us.
Long before I ever heard of a psychedelic journey, CIA taught me that reality is very much
shaped by a person's perceptions. Perceptions are when you use your five senses to define.
find the world around you. What you see, what you smell, what you hear, what you touch, those are all
part of your perception of reality. I smell a flower and it may smell differently to me than it
smells to you. I might smell something sweet. You might smell something tart. I might enjoy the
smell. You might dislike the smell. Either way, it is our unique reality. And CIA taught me that
reality is shared by groups, even though it is heavily tailored to the individual. So you find
people who believe in the same religion that you believe. You find people who believe in the same
sense of community that you believe in. You find people who feel the same way about family,
that you feel about family. So not only do you share certain elements of reality, but it is also
still very heavily individualized to you. You might value family, but you might not necessarily
believe that a patriarchal family is the best family. But despite the amount of incredible individual
perception that goes into shaping your reality, it's the fact that reality can be shared that
actually answers question number two. Can your reality be manipulated? CIA taught me that the answer
to this question is a resounding yes, and your reality is being shaped every day. From the time of
the Revolutionary War to current conflicts happening today, countries around the world are working to
shape the reality and the perceptions of certain groups. This is something called collective consciousness.
Collective consciousness is just a fancy way of saying common understanding. What's commonly
understood about your morals, your beliefs, your fears, what's commonly understood to be a point
of pride, what's commonly understood to be a center of hate. The fact that Americans take pride
in being independent, while Chinese take pride in working together, is a form of collective consciousness.
Where you and I might believe in Jesus Christ, millions of others believe in Muhammad and Allah.
That's just another form of collective consciousness, a common understanding that brings people together
and puts them on a predictable path of defining the world around them, defining their reality.
There are dozens of examples here that I'm certain will flood to your mind if you give yourself
just a moment to reflect on this idea of collective consciousness,
from Saturday morning cartoons to pop music icons that matter a lot to you,
but your friends and family may know nothing about.
Recognizing that there is a collective consciousness and a sense of shared perception
that shapes our reality is interesting, but it's not scary.
It doesn't get scary until we ask question number three.
Has our reality already been manipulated by programs like MK Ultra?
This question is the crux of the debates happening right now on California.
Hill. Did CIA uncover some truth about reality using MK Ultra that is still being used today,
not only against American adversaries, but possibly also against the American people?
This same question was actually the focus of my own investigation in collaboration with
Discovery Channel on a program called Conspiracies and Cover Ups.
You can find the full MK Ultra episode of Conspiracies and Coverups on YouTube right now,
and you can see through my eyes exactly what I discovered during that investigation.
But here's the short answer.
While millions of MK Ultra program files were lost or destroyed, there were a handful that survived.
And those surviving documents tell us a story about a niche area of investigation in the MK Ultra program that may have proved quite successful.
A program centered on hypnotism.
If you haven't discovered your secrets by superpower, then somebody else might be using theirs against you.
CIA teaches us that there are only three types of people in the world.
those who motivate, those who manipulate, and those who are being controlled by one of the other two.
I created a three-minute CIA-style quiz to help you unlock your secret psychological advantage
and identify your hidden blind spot.
All you have to do is click on the first link in the description below or scan the QR code on your screen
and you'll be taken directly to your private quiz.
This test was developed to help you weaponize your natural-born gifts
and use them to get ahead of 99% of people in power,
wealth and purpose. It was also designed to make sure that you can protect yourself against those
who would use their skills against you. I want you to discover your secrets by superpower and use it
for good before somebody else uses their power against you. Now, MK Ultra Scientist experimented
on everything from drugs to sex to try to find their way to unlock the human brain. And while
most of those experiments were unsuccessful and even outright abusive, what documentation shows is that
hypnotism stood very much in contrast to all of the drug and sexual abuses. While M.K. Ultra did have
some success with drugs like LSD and sexual manipulation, it wasn't easy to replicate and that
success wasn't consistent or predictable. In contrast, experiments with hypnosis proved to be
quite the opposite, both predictable and consistent. And the biggest benefit of all was that hypnotism
didn't only apply to individuals. It could be used at scale to affect large groups.
as long as those large groups had a shared perception of reality,
common understanding, beliefs, morals, and ethics.
This process of group hypnosis came to be known as something called collective conscious,
similar to the collective consciousness that we discussed earlier,
except this applies to smaller groups
and includes the manipulation of information for specific outcomes.
So even while the MK Ultra program was ultimately shut down in 1973,
government investment in hypnosis continued.
Even now, you can find former government experts like Chase Hughes
teaching the fundamentals of hypnosis that he learned from the U.S. military
when he was a trained interrogator.
Hypnosis still proves to be incredibly effective
not only on individuals, but on groups that have a common understanding,
whether it's a common language, a common faith set,
a common belief in their community.
This is the foundation of covert influence campaigns.
It's the foundation of misinformation and disinformation campaigns.
It's the same tool that helps politicians get elected and helps gain public support for foreign conflicts.
There's a reason that you hear about people like Joe Rogan and Chase Hughes and other celebrities and superstars seeking spiritual answers from psychedelic journeys.
They've come to realize that the reality around them has been shaped, molded by powers that do not intend to serve their best interests.
The same is true for you.
But where drugs like DMT and LSD are expensive and illegal to obtain, the truth is much less costly, but no less bitter.
The government sees you as a cog in a much larger machine, and it needs you to continue on your way, unaware of the other cogs attached to you or the engine driving you.
And unless you take the time and effort to mold the perception of the world around you, somebody else will continue to shape reality.
