Starting point is 00:00:00 To watch episodes of financial audit a week earlier, check us out on YouTube. My credit card debt isn't even that bad. Are you fucking stupid? What do you mean? I don't like paying those. I'm going to be honest. Like? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:09 Like? We get to choose what we like? There's going to be no consequences because I don't like it. Well, I'll just figure it out. You know who hasn't just figured it out? People who get evicted. It's not going to happen to me. What the fuck are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:00:23 You have a seven-year-old kid. Download my new simpler budget app today and take control. of your money once and for all. Hi, my name is Julia. I'm 27 years old from Nashville, Tennessee, and this is financial audit. Thanks for coming down from Nashville. What do you do for a living up there? I do customer service.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Okay, just flatline customer service, customer service manager. Where are we in that scale? I just do like kind of... Yeah? It's like customer service. It's not like the... I help customers. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Okay. And what are you paid through helping customers? Wait, can we start over? No. Oh, okay. It's okay. You're okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Take a second. You can breathe. You can breathe. It's okay. But what do you make? I make $50,000 a year. Oh, okay. Not bad.
Starting point is 00:01:31 Nashville, a little expensive. As far as the Tennessee area. I did just get a 3% raise though so it'll be like 51 50 it's kind of like just a cost of living raise or yeah but even still that is good it's better than no raise for sure so what hits your account on a monthly basis um so i actually just like switched my w2 so it's going to be a little bit different going forward switched yeah not switched but like i think i had filled it out incorrectly so like i was getting more taxes taken out than i should have had okay sure which gave you a bigger refund
Starting point is 00:02:05 but obviously that's not how we want to do it. Right. So now that that's updated, it should be closer to 1750 per check. Okay, perfect. 1750. But that's not with the raise also. So, including. So 1750?
Starting point is 00:02:21 Maybe like 18. Yeah, I would say 18. Every two weeks. Every two weeks. Cool. So we're looking at about $3,600. How we live in that Tennessee. Off of $3,600 a month, sometimes a little more?
Starting point is 00:02:34 Um, it's pretty good. Pretty good. Yeah. It can't be pretty good. I mean, you're, you've been accepted to come on this show. It literally cannot be pretty good. Yeah, it could be better. Let you know now.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Yeah. It could be. So what's wrong? What's going on? So this is a single household income? Yes. Okay. Are there any dependents or anything?
Starting point is 00:02:57 Yes. I do have a son. Okay. How old's your kid? He's seven. So you're a single mom? Yes. You get child support?
Starting point is 00:03:04 Yes. Oh, what do you receive there? That is 5.14 a month. Not much. Are you full custody? Um, we have joint, so it's 80% me and then like 20% with his dad. Oh, with the kids dad. Okay. So, that's why it's kind of low at that 514 a month. Yeah. Yeah, because he does have a little bit more time with him. What's going on? What's going on? Because this is fuck. It's fuck. buddy you're like not paying your debt are you kidding me it's you don't know it's well you don't know it's she doesn't know it's okay that's okay so what's going on in uh you're just in your version of your life and your perception of reality what we got what we got going on um it does it does feel a little bit you just said everything was pretty chill or all right well i'm
Starting point is 00:04:05 like alive and yeah I'm paying my bills yeah but you're also not really providing much of the future for the kid as well at the same time I know there's not really any savings for you I know there's not any kind
Starting point is 00:04:21 of support system for him right you're getting into a more dangerous situation as you're going out and throw all these literally no payment debts I'm trying my best you are yeah You are?
Starting point is 00:04:38 Yeah. Oh. What's trying our best? Um. You had almost 700 bucks to just miscellaneous bull spending. What's it? 700. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Is that trying our best? Uh, is missing a, you know, $40 payment trying our best? When we have a kid? Is that trying our best? Um, sometimes, like, things happen. And it's not like all the time. Things happen. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Well, yes, you are a human being on this planet. Things happen. So we act like an adult and we be prepared for these things to happen. Okay. So you are not doing that. I should be. I guess my spending could be probably a little bit more controlled, like on certain things. Why aren't you controlling your spending?
Starting point is 00:05:44 What's happening? Um, I'm just trying to get a little perspective, a little microscope into that life of years. What is going on? Well, I... You say you're trying. Yeah. We're missing very small payments and we're spending about $700 on miscellaneous bullshit. So I would say, uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Incorrect. What is going on? I guess I just don't pay enough attention to where my money is going. What does that mean? What does it look like on a monthly basis? when money goes places. What does that look like? How does that happen for you?
Starting point is 00:06:19 Basically, whenever my, like, bills are paid, like, rent is paid, and then, like, any money that I have left over, I just kind of spend. Spend it. Okay. So, how much came in, income-wise? Are you asking me? Oh, um...
Starting point is 00:06:41 Oh, I'm asking them. The camera was over there. I pointed at the camera. Yes. How much came in? 35, 3800? Yeah, 39.
Starting point is 00:06:58 39? Okay. Good. Livable. Nice. How much did you spend? Probably 4,000. Why would you spend more than came in?
Starting point is 00:07:11 3,900 comes in, 4,000 out? Why would you spend more? Um, because I feel like I can. Huh? You feel like you can spend more than comes in? Um, well, I am. Are you okay? You're talking that Celsius.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Are you like, wee-woo, like, where's the brain right now? It's here. Yeah, you spent $6,414. How much? $6,414. 6,000. 14. How? How? How? We haven't gone, I haven't, we'll go through your documents and we'll find out how, but I already told you you spent $700 just, and on miscellaneous bullshit. If you spend $700, let's see, the income is $38, normally 36, so it's called 36. That's already 20% of your income right there. 20%. 20%. 20%. I, okay, I just need you, just please, explain what is going on. in your life.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Something bad happened to me. I got in a small fender bender with another car. Okay. I was, like, at a red light, and I was coming to a stop, but I didn't stop, like, right in time. So my car kind of, like, bumped into the back of another car. How fast? It wasn't fast. It was, like, maybe, like, five miles an hour.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Okay. There was like no damages or like anything that happened. Nobody was... Okay. Yeah. But the issue. The issue is that there was like a lapse in my insurance coverage. No.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Yeah. Why? How much of a lapse? Probably like a couple weeks. Why? Aren't you on top of it? I think I forgot to pay it. You forget to pay everything.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Everything. here is forget to pay. Sometimes, yeah, there's things that... Sometimes as in almost everything in here. Almost everything. Oh my f***, you don't know. You, you, you, you, you legitimately don't know. Well, the, my insurance, it was like a, kind of like a pay by week type of thing. Weekly insurance? Yeah, it's like cheaper that way. No, no. No. Yeah. You only, you only pay when you're driving. Because if you pay by annually, that's how it's cheaper. Oh, you're saying like per mile that you're driving? No, like the days I'm driving. What was your insurance payment on average on a weekly basis? Like $30 or $35 a week.
Starting point is 00:10:15 45? Yeah. But that's not crazy. It's like 180 bucks. Why can't you just pay that monthly? I feel like it's going to be more expensive. Okay, why is it an auto pay then? Yeah, that's probably my... You have a kid. Child, seven. Kid. Child, seven. Kid, child, seven. I should probably have better insurance. Yeah, you should probably have insurance. In general, like, maybe we don't have laps in that when we're fucking smashing into bumpers.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Okay, so what happened? Basically, like, since I didn't have insurance, I, nothing happened at the scene, but then, like, a couple months later, I got a letter in the mail. It was from a subrogation company. Okay. And they told me that I owe for medical damages. Since I didn't have insurance, I have to pay that. Medical for the person you hit? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:11:13 But there was no... What are they claiming? $48,000. Yeah, I don't understand how that's possible because there... Nothing happened. Like, everybody was fine. There was... Yes, but they may have gone to like an urgent care.
Starting point is 00:11:30 How for $45,000? I don't know. American medical expenses are crazy. maybe of Zadr Network, who even who even knows? I don't know. Did you not see what it was for, though? You just saw the number?
Starting point is 00:11:41 You didn't see what it was for? Yeah, they said, they just said medical expenses. Yeah, but you didn't see what it was for? No. The lady when she called me, she was, do you want to go ahead and, like, set up a payment plan? And I was like, no.
Starting point is 00:11:55 No, I'm not going to pay that. Like, there was no injuries. Like, this is like a scam. So they said if I don't start paying that somehow they're going to take my driver's license away. This isn't through the... Do you have this? Did you bring it? I sent a picture of the letter, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:13 You sent it? Could I get that in Slack? I don't know. Okay, I want to make sure, one, you're not getting scam. Two, they have the authority. Well, I think, like, I did, like, some research on it, and I think, like, they have to, like, technically take me to court for it and then, like, sue me.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Yeah. And then, like, if it's, like, gone. my guess, but that's what I want to confirm. Yeah. And so I guess they're going to keep like sending me letters. Hey, make your payments. How about we do that and not get... I'm trying to make my payments.
Starting point is 00:12:47 You don't make any fucking payments. What are you're talking about? You spent $2,500 or $3,000 more than you make on a monthly basis? Maybe sometimes they're late. Try. You don't know the word try. No, no, no, no. Objectively, no. First document right here. Lady, you are behind. by
Starting point is 00:13:06 I don't spend on the credit cards There's only one credit card that I don't give a You're not pain on the credit cards What? I cut up all the cards You're behind five payments on this I make my payments Behind five
Starting point is 00:13:27 Probably just about if I included the monthly fee And the payments, yeah, you go about five I don't think that's correct Well You're not over the credit limit You're almost there you will get above the credit limit Which one are you looking at? There's $40 of fees being added on a monthly basis because you're not paying in the payment.
Starting point is 00:13:46 And the payment is $42. I see, also they don't see the letter. Oh, I sent it in a text message to Lindsay. Lindsay, I'll get that. So you combine both the fees and the minimum monthly payment that you should be making. Combine them by two and then divide that by the 431. You're about five months, five months behind. You don't, we audit finances all the time on the show.
Starting point is 00:14:12 but when's the last time you did a little life audit? Think about it. That's Sondermind.com slash Caleb or click the link below to get started today. Trust me, getting your mental health in check is one of the smartest investments you can make.
Starting point is 00:15:18 That's Pages.Sondermine.com slash Caleb or head to the link in the description below to check out Sondermine and make mental health a priority in 2025. Oh my gosh. Okay. We're starting at the bottom because it is okay to be ignorant. That is not like a crime. And ignorant is better than knowing what's going wrong and purposely doing bad. So don't get me wrong.
Starting point is 00:15:38 I feel like I know what's going on. What the f*** you're talking about? I think you don't. Explain what's going on with this card. Go ahead. Which one is that? What's the balance? It's the capital one quicks over one.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Mm-hmm. Is it like 4,000? Is it 4,000? What is going on with this card? You said you know what's going on with the card. Okay, okay. It should be four. It should be like $4,000.
Starting point is 00:16:04 More than just a number. Tell me what the fuck is going on with the card. Okay. Um, so this actually just happened to me like recently. I've never had a miss payment ever before. Like, this is the first time I have a miss payment, and I only know that because it's on my credit report now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:23 That's beyond late, because you can have late payments and not get that reported. You now have missed payments reported. That's when it gets. It means you're behind. So that's like 30 days or more. That means you're behind behind. All right, I have the letter that was slacked. Well, burn associates.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Oh. You see it? Yeah, so they're probably a legal group. Let's see. I think so. Yeah. Have you heard of that company before? No, but I'm about to look them up. Oh, they're handing the claim offer on behalf of the USAA.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Yeah, of the actual company. Why should you fucking do this? Oh my God, is it actually, like, real? Like, are they really going to try to... Please report the loss of your insurance character and write us with the claim number. See? So you could have done that. Yeah, but I didn't have it then...
Starting point is 00:17:10 And they've already talked to you on the phone? Mm-hmm. I think I might have, like, messed up all that. because, like, if I never answered the phone, like, maybe they would have never found me. Did you give them your address? They asked me to confirm. Well, okay, so they, like, listed out three. Why the, what?
Starting point is 00:17:27 Why are you having that conversation and giving them that? Is that bad? No, why would you give them information regarding you, no matter who they are? They listed out, like, three addresses, and they were like, is this one of, are these one of your addresses? And I was like, no, my address is this. It's a debt collections agency. Hmm Hmm
Starting point is 00:17:48 Will they sue you for How much? 48,000 I think That's a lot of They actually might Oh my God You're surprised
Starting point is 00:18:01 But I'm Yeah because $48,000 for what It was like it was like the It was like a tap Yeah Yeah yeah yeah Like there was not a scratch
Starting point is 00:18:10 The dude probably went and just got I can checked up or something I don't know Um How does it come I don't know I don't know was I there So what if like
Starting point is 00:18:20 I just keep ignoring them And then I don't. Well, certainly, um, okay. Is this on your credit yet? Um, no. There's no collections on my credit right now. Will they sell this or will they pursue legal? What do you mean sell it?
Starting point is 00:18:41 They could sell it for pennies on the dollar to a collections agency. But aren't they a collections agency? Kind of. They're probably almost working as almost, almost like an internal. trying to get the full amount hired out. Well, hmm. I'm not paying that. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:19:06 What if the court says you do? They'll take your shit. I can get a lawyer and then prove that that was done. And what way are you going to afford to get a lawyer? Spend double your income on a monthly basis. I can still prove probably that that is not accurate. You got into a reported crash. It was small, but you got into a reported crash.
Starting point is 00:19:34 We don't know where the bill's coming from. That's what I wish we could do. Yeah. Okay, I wish we had a connection with the legal group. What I will do is get you connected with our, with domain money financial advisors to at least see if they can have some extra guidance for this. Do you get a free session for being a guest on the show? And then just to talk about this whole situation,
Starting point is 00:19:55 take advantage of three free sessions with Sondra Mines for therapy as well. Okay. But even still, they might give you a good direction there. $38,000, right? $48,000. Okay. What was the minimum monthly payment they suggested? They didn't even suggest that.
Starting point is 00:20:14 They're probably going to figure out how much you could reasonably make. Yeah. First. Okay. That's crazy. Dude, do you have insurance now? I do. I do.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And then back to this card again. that you're behind dramatically. Quicks over one. So let's get the whole information to the sake of the audience. Oh, dude. This is... Come on, this is crazy.
Starting point is 00:20:40 You can't be living your life like this with a kid. Okay, $4,240.99. The minimum of $4.31 and $14, normally $42, but you're behind about four or two. The fuck. Why? And you say you know what's going on with cards. Why would this possibly be behind so much?
Starting point is 00:21:02 Again, another $40 fee right there. $100 in interest, borderline on the credit limit. And you'll be there. And it says pass due fee, past due fee, past two fee, forever, forever, forever, and ever. Why? Why are you just not making a damn payment? Why not be on auto pay?
Starting point is 00:21:18 You don't make no money. Well, like I said, this is like the first time that that's happened. No, it's not. It's five months! Are you sure it's five months? That's how the math is at least working. I know it's probably like two months. Math wouldn't add up like that.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Well, I guess I ran out of money and it got behind. Why? You make money. Why did you run out of money? Because I'm paying everything by myself. What's everything by yourself? You do get child support. You don't make insignificant amount of money, especially for your age. I know you're a single mom.
Starting point is 00:21:54 That part's harder. A seven-year-old requires a little more at that. point because maybe they're doing some sports extracurricular activities school supplies all that good stuff i get it yeah but even still 700 dollars in miscellaneous bulls bullshit we'll go through it yeah i have a spending problem so you didn't run out of money because you have to take care of all the bills that i have to take care of alone yeah i i like to buy things for myself and i like to buy things for my son. Which I get the heart for.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Great. Good. When he asked me for something, it's hard for me to tell him no. Sure. Will it be hard to tell him no when you're like, oh, shit? Wait, we got to leave because we're getting convicted because we can't pay our rent.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Yeah, that would be worse. Yeah, that'd be worse. But that wouldn't happen. Why? Because I always make sure that my rent is paid. Yeah, for now. You just quote, I ran out of money. That was after my rent was paid.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Yeah. What if it happens before your rent is paid next time? Do you not understand that sometimes things are a little different? Remember when you also told me at the beginning of the conversation, things have happened. Mm-hmm. Yeah, what if things happen? Well, I'll just figure it out. Don't be that fucking creature.
Starting point is 00:23:08 I'll just figure it out. What does I just figure it out? What do you mean? How are you going to figure it out? What is just figuring it out? That doesn't make sense. I'll just figure it out. You know who hasn't just figured it out?
Starting point is 00:23:17 People who get evicted. And that happens endlessly throughout this country, throughout almost every country. You think they just figured it. it out? No, they're gone. Well, I don't think they care about figuring it out. You're saying they don't give a shit about their house in the roof over their head and the kids that live there? Who the fuck are you? What do you mean? I just feel like it's not going to happen to me. That's just like it's not going to, that's everything. That is every emergency. No one thinks an emergency is going to happen. What do you think that's not going to happen to you? What do you think you're special? Why do you think you're unique?
Starting point is 00:23:51 You're unique in terms of you're not paying your debt like a fucking responsible adult. Even Americans with high credit card, did they at least pay their minimum payment? You're not. You're a unique. You're a unique failure. In that case, absolutely. Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:24:02 But why do you think you're going to be unique in terms of success? There's nothing to indicate any kind of success here. There's no success. Where's the success? Can you show me a pattern of success that would prove that you would be the person that is able to get out of that situation? I don't think so. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:24:15 3.7 million eviction cases filed annually in the United States. Well, I'm not going to... I'm sure some of them thought they could just figure. it out. Well, I'm not going to lose my job, so I'm always going to have enough money to cover at least. No, you lady, do you not remember your own words that are coming down in your mouth? I ran out of my knee. But then I get paid again. Yeah, what if that? You don't. I'm just okay. What happens when a $48,000 bill hits because you refuse to have insurance. Huh? How about that? I guess I'll file bankruptcy.
Starting point is 00:24:56 File bankruptcy. Like that's nothing? How can you afford bankruptcy? Bankruptcy isn't cheap. You think you just walk outside? I declare bankruptcy! No, I think you, I know that you have to find like a lawyer to do that and pay a lawyer to help you with it. And you're ready to start giving some things up potentially.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Probably not your car. We wouldn't go down that route. But also, if you ever need to reapply for a lease, it looks somewhere else. That's going to be on your credit for seven to ten years. Well, it's better than paying $48,000, I would think. Major channel announcement. Budgeting, budgety, budgety, budgety. It's a new year.
Starting point is 00:25:42 We're all trying to budget. We're all trying to make it a little better. We're trying to improve our life. A lot of people on the show, a lot of people out there that I've heard from, they try to start a budget. They can't stick to the budget. It's all too damn complicated right now. Let's take control of our 2025 and make this the best year ever.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Download the simpler budget app today. A link in the description below. This budgeting app will change your life. Potentially, I'm just saying that happens. It may be a court orders you to pay it. And then, uh-oh, now I can't pay rent. You're saying just figure it out. Well, they have a payment plan, so I can just do the payment plan. You don't know what the payment plan is lady and guess what you're not paying on your things that have payment plans you're five months behind so what the fuck are you talking about the reason i mean is because you have a kid it's not cute and funny anymore once you have a kid you're right why'd you have this kid where were you guys just like just like diddling it up or were we ready for the full future or what was going on at the
Starting point is 00:28:13 time i was right i thought i was ready and you guys were together for a while we were together um for about a and then after I got pregnant, we broke up. Was it purposeful pregnancy? No. Why weren't you guys using protection at 20? I guess it was a poor decision. Yeah. And you just let him wherever?
Starting point is 00:28:43 He tried to pull out. But he failed? Yeah. And you didn't go get the thing? What thing? The plan B. Okay. Um, no, I did not.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Why? Because I didn't think that I would be pregnant. Not thinking things happen. The consequences of our own actions seems to be a pattern in your life. And I'm not saying you should have taken plan B. I'm not saying having a kid was the wrong choice. You could do whatever the fuck you want. For sure. It definitely is not.
Starting point is 00:29:10 You can do whatever the fuck you want. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying no preparation and a constant pattern of thinking that nothing will happen. The consequences of the actions that we do seems to be the definition of you. And now it's a responsibility to take care of this kid Who did not choose to come into this world And guess what? Mommy is not paying her bills
Starting point is 00:29:33 Kid would like to do things Would like to move up in life Would like to maybe go to college Good luck mama applying for any parent plus loans or anything Or for his first car Or whatever there might be Anything that you might want to do For kiddo
Starting point is 00:29:50 Good luck Because you're saying no Fuck for life now I'm not saying, like, now. Your actions are. That's your words. Your actions are. Also, your words kind of are, because you don't think anything bad will happen, but guess what?
Starting point is 00:30:04 It happened last time. I make sure that the important things are paid. How do you determine the importance of bills? Rent. So roof, okay. Yeah, food, groceries. Yeah. Utilities, probably.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Car payment, utilities. Okay. Where do you think you are? And a scale, zero to ten, zero being the worst finances you can think of, ten being the best finances you can think of, where do you think you are? Self-assessed. I would-in-that heart. I would probably say a zero. Yeah, sounds about right. You're okay with that.
Starting point is 00:30:43 No, I'm not okay with that. And why have you done nothing to fix it? Because I feel like I keep making my payments, but they're not, the balances are not going down. If I didn't have credit card debt, I feel like... Which my credit card debt isn't even that bad. It's not even that high. Are you fucking stupid? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:31:05 Any kind of credit card debt that is accruing interest that you cannot pay off that is being pushed with the credit limit is bad. What the fuck are you talking about? $2,500? No, no. $4,240. They think that's not bad. That's horrendous.
Starting point is 00:31:17 That's horrendous. I'm not spending on it. So that's what would make it bad as if you're spending on it? It would make it worse. That would make it worse doesn't mean it's good. I don't think it's good. I don't think it's good, but I just said it's not that bad. It's not that bad.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Yes, it is. How can you think it's not that bad? If you don't think it's not that bad, then why would you ever do anything to fix it if you don't think it's not that bad? I am doing things to fix it. No, you're not. You're behind. Lady, what are you talking about? You're so delusioned in your life.
Starting point is 00:31:54 The fuck are you talking about? You won't even hold insurance and make the payments for that. time. Oh my gosh. Guys, if you watch your Hammer Financial score and want to find out where you stand, it's free. Link in the description below.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Fun little algorithm, we take your information, we give you your score. And if you want to come on this show, get a little, wake up, call, but also have a good time. So it's like a half a day activity. It's a good time.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Come down here to Austin, Texas. You can go to Calebhammer.com slash apply. And I'd be happy to have you here. But you. Me. Don't seem to know what the fuck you're talking. You think so? You don't?
Starting point is 00:32:35 No, you don't. I do think I know what I'm talking about. Oh, I... You're confused on your lack of payment on this card. So, and that says one so far. I still pay it. Yeah, but you're behind five. You haven't caught up.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Look at it. Lady, there are numbers. Whether or not you're able to read them as unknown to me so far, but they're there. You think the math is adding up. Yeah, about three to four. Late, late, late payments on here this year so far. $1,200 rounded interest this year on one card.
Starting point is 00:33:26 One card. You're okay with that. No, I don't want to pay that. Yet you allow it. And don't change any behavior. ever to solve it. Okay, we have an Amazon card. This is dangerous for you to have.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Isn't it? Yeah, but... Let me see our Amazon order history. Right now. Okay. We'll see it. The credit limit isn't very high. Nor should it be for you.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Oh, good. We're over the credit limit. So... On Amazon? Yeah. Isn't it $500? You're $512. Again, numbers.
Starting point is 00:34:11 You're convenient to look at some. I do look at that. I look at it like every month. Incorrectly or upside down. I don't know. Yeah, that's been maxed out for a while. Then why are you purchasing $40 on here? Mom.
Starting point is 00:34:30 It's... It's been maxed out for a while. So let me go ahead and purchase $40 on there. I guess it's like... Wise. Yeah. Sometimes I guess I can make some impulsive purchases. How about I look at that Amazon account?
Starting point is 00:34:45 What is what is it? going on? I've seen you push the screen like 50 times. It's like loading. Did you connect to the Wi-Fi out there? No, no, I didn't. $40 of purchases, $13 and $7.7.7 of interest accruing. How long does this take to pay off? Just doing the minimum of the payments. Just the minimum of the payments.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Probably like two years. Yeah, 16 months, pretty close. Go ahead, scan that QR code. The last card, the last card alone. Just the minimum of the payments. How long do you think that takes? which is, by the way, better than you're currently doing. Are you talking about the $4,000 one? Yes, the Capital One Quix over one. Probably like 10 years.
Starting point is 00:35:25 20. And that's if you actually do it and you're not. Can I scan that again? I'm sorry. So we struggle to use the phone as well. Okay, so $40 minimum fee payment on this Amazon card. Oh, with a over-limit, yep. Oh, yeah, I'm connected, sorry.
Starting point is 00:35:47 $512.23 is owed. Okay. Do you want to see this? Yes. Okay. Start a screen recording. Screen recording? Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:59 What? Nothing. Men's oil tan leather? That was a Christmas gift for my dad. Some Christmas pajamas for you and the kid. Mm-hmm. Some deep vitamin C golden. Moisturizer.
Starting point is 00:36:14 Your skin's okay. Real deep bio-collegeant thing. Oh, it's all skin, skin, skin, skin, skin, skin, skin, skin, skin, skin, makeup. They're wearing a lot of makeup, so I didn't see that. You return some thing. We got a cable. We got some booty pants. Booty pants.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Yeah, and silky tights. Shoulder bag. Shoes and, yeah, children's things and tea oil. That's not that crazy. Let me see your nails. They're just short. Yeah, you're no longer wearing the press on pink nails. Yeah, I got those to try to stop going to the nail salon.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Undetect table thong. Tectable. Undetectable? Undetectable. While we're here, let's see what other than subscriptions you have. Oh, my gosh. What are you looking at? Your subscriptions.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Oh, on what? Your phone. Oh. Uh, read, open your damn emails and get rid of that, get rid of those readings. I know, I hate looking at that. I just need to get on my computer and like mark them all is red. You have so many subscribers. No, I don't.
Starting point is 00:37:28 What are, what am I subscribed to? What am I subscribed to? You don't know any. First of all, you're subscribed to fucking Tinder. That's not for me. That's not for me. I don't even have a Tinder account. Whose Tinder are you paying for?
Starting point is 00:37:42 You're not chasing dick? No, not currently Um Yeah, I don't have a Tinder account Okay, why do I see Uh, and it's not Oh, you're right, sorry, these are inactive You're right, you actually don't have any paid
Starting point is 00:37:54 Oh, so you just canceled Tinder Yeah, but it's just can't Why the fuck you have Tinder? It's not for me Oh, sorry, paid Tinder Why are you paying for someone else's Tinder? I was like, it's a profile that I created But it wasn't like me
Starting point is 00:38:08 You are paying for You paid for Tinder. I did. because there was something that happened. I had like an ex-boyfriend and we actually just broke up recently because of something that happened. And that's why I got the Tinder account and paid for the premium. What happened? So he went out of town like two months ago for like work.
Starting point is 00:38:36 And he was going to be gone for like a month. And we've had like some issues like of things he's done in the past. What? Like Instagram liking. Can't like an Instagram? No. Okay. Why would he be liking other women?
Starting point is 00:38:55 I don't know. Maybe it's art. Who knows, but go ahead. Go ahead. Well, he knows that I didn't like that. And he kept doing it. Okay, well, you vocalized it. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Okay. I kind of had some suspicions. And this is like the first time he's ever had to go away for like a long period of time. So we actually met on Tinder. But that's the last time I've ever used it, which is like three years ago. Um, so I felt like maybe he... Until November 17th, but okay. Yeah, I felt like maybe he might still be using it, but I wasn't sure.
Starting point is 00:39:25 What gave you that suspicion? Just liking posts on Instagram? That and like certain people that he followed. Okay. And then like some messages that I saw. What? Between him and people? Mm-hmm. What?
Starting point is 00:39:37 This is huge for financial audit. For a year now, my team and I have worked with experts to create what I truly believe are the three best educational programs in the financial space online. We have our budgeting program where I teach you how to create, manage, and revolutionize your budget and control your money. And then there's the investing program where I teach you to define what investing profile applies to you and your life and then teach what specific investing strategies applies to you in that situation.
Starting point is 00:40:06 And now finally, we have our debt program where I teach you the best ways to pay off debt, manage debt, and even take advantage of good. debt. This has been a revolutionary project that we've been working on for over a year now. And just like over 10,000 people who've already taken our educational programs, you can now take advantage of all three of them bundled together at a 15% discount. I've heard from thousands of people now who've taken these classes and they've literally changed their lives for the better. And finally, you can too at a more affordable price. Head to Calebhammer.com or click the link in the description below. You will not regret this. Um, just like, not like, it was just like him, like, sending little hearts. You know how you can react? Oh, okay. Like, he would send hearts or like, heart eyes. Or he would just say, like, you look so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Yeah, it should be doing that, that's for sure. Yeah. Okay, so what? So I had his location and he went to Detroit. And I created the Tinder account and, like, used. You wanted to make sure he wasn't shot? Make sure what? It wasn't shot?
Starting point is 00:41:13 shot. Oh, yeah, Detroit. No, I wanted to see if he was going to, like, download the app. So the first day he got there, I made the Tinder. And if you pay for it, if you pay for it, you can, like, pay to, like, change your location. So, like, I put his exact location and then I, like, change the radius to, like, one mile. And then, like, I did two swipes and then his account popped up. And it said, in town for a month, hit me up. So he was trying. But then I asked him about it. And he was like, oh, I already deleted that. Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure that's what every Ashley Madison guy said. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:55 And so I did pay for that, but then I like got it refunded. Did you break up? Yeah. Yeah. Good. We broke up. Good. CyberGhost, safe and private something, November 9th.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Oh, okay. Free text call number November 11th. ExpressVPN November 9th. Apple Music just canceled. Yeah. Which ones are that? Second phone number, October 17th. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:42:20 Why are there so many different phone number things? What are you sneaking around? SurfSark VPN. Why do you have so many VPNs and phone numbers that you're, what are you doing? Those are also something probably to do with him. I was a little. You don't know? No, I do know.
Starting point is 00:42:36 What? So basically, like, I created some fake numbers. Oh, lady. And then, like, I pretended. like I had seen him out in like public and then wanted to see if he would like text them back. And he didn't. But he also. You had a lot of like, okay, your suspicions actually ended up becoming correct.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Yeah. What if they weren't? Like you're just kind of like the fuck bad X in that case. You actually were correct in the end. So, you know, it works. Well, I wouldn't do things like that if I didn't think that. Yeah, but from Instagram likes. Well, no saying you're so pretty and stuff.
Starting point is 00:43:10 That, that's fair actually. Yeah, but even still, this is a big... He was just like a bad person, so I kind of... How were you guys together? Um, we were like on and off for three years. You invested a few hundred bucks if he can't catch this thing. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Yeah, and he also lived with me for a while and didn't pay any rent. Oh, when did it? When was he out? Um, probably like two months ago. My gosh, why was he he paying rent? Is that not a red flag enough? Yeah. And then that's like when my finances started to get.
Starting point is 00:43:41 get kind of worse. Okay, worse, because trust me, they were already bad. But why wasn't he paying rent? I guess because he didn't have enough money. What was he doing? He had like this job with one of his family members. I think he was only making like $400 a week. I kind of want to call him in the post show.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Should we call him in the post show? Oh my God. We're going to call him in the post show. Are you serious? Yeah. Oh, my God. That'll be fun. We'll have some Springer in the post show in our YouTube membership.
Starting point is 00:44:10 I help support the channel guys And there's thousands of hours of extra content And other shows as well Okay, so Amazon Yeah, the interest is brewing It was, yeah, it was three Amazon purchases Probably all the skincare and makeup And all the shit you're doing
Starting point is 00:44:25 Fees this year Like 70 bucks and interest What? Those fees are probably late fees That's probably too late Feeze On which one? On the Amazon
Starting point is 00:44:43 Over the course of this year Over the course of the year Yes. Two late fees. Probably? Yeah. I don't like paying those. I'm going to be honest.
Starting point is 00:44:54 Like? Yeah. Like? It's a like. That's what we get to choose what we like? No, we don't. But, hey guys, guess what? I don't like paying my property taxes.
Starting point is 00:45:04 I'm just not going to. There's going to be no consequences because I don't like it. What the fuck are you talking about? You have a seven-year-old kid. I like paying for everything for him. Yeah. You have to do. be responsible.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Do you not understand? Just like the... I feel like I'm pretty responsible. In what world? I feel like you never matured past 14. No, legitimately, based on your language. Do you think... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:35 The words you're saying, the phrases, your mentality. Well, that's your opinion. My opinion, dude, it's in the fucking numbers. This isn't an opinion. This is like objective reality right here.
Starting point is 00:45:50 The whole, I don't like making payments on this. That's what a child says. I still make them, though. You've missed two this year. Shut the fuck up. Two out of the year, that's not that many. Are you, like, actually, like... I feel like that's not that bad.
Starting point is 00:46:07 You missed 15% of the payments this year. Okay. Substantial percentage. And I pay... I don't want to be rude. Yeah. A mature person. An adult pays 100% by the way.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I legitimately would like to know just for my own information, not to be rude, but out of legitimately. Did you graduate high school? I did. Okay. Did you? Yes. Okay. What am I giving off any indication that I didn't?
Starting point is 00:46:38 I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, okay. Okay, so, I, so, you made the minimum, okay, so, that's all that happened on this card, but, she did say at the beginning, I haven't really had mispayments this year so far until recently. We learned that that wasn't the case on the Amazon one already. But let's see if that's the case on this card. Should we? Shall we? Oh, there it is.
Starting point is 00:47:23 There's a little fee that's happened this year so far. Sounds like you're a liar or just don't know any fucking thing. You said there was a late one on that? Yes. This year. This year? Yes. This year.
Starting point is 00:47:38 How many? You know what year it is? Yeah, 2024. Okay. Tomorrow will be 2025. Oh, wow. Fresh start, new me. What was your question?
Starting point is 00:47:50 How many was it? One. One, okay. That counts. It does count. Yeah, it does. That's, um... Does anyone keep in the math?
Starting point is 00:48:02 Five, six, seven, eight. All together. Eight missed payments this year so far? Yeah. Um, it was a rough year. It was a rough year. Yeah, sounds like it with like the cheating dude, but again, that was a couple months ago. The fuck out.
Starting point is 00:48:18 I'm spending money to make myself happy and my son happy. And how's that working? It's ending in misery, ending with eviction, ending with bankruptcy, ending with your kid, not having a good future. Yeah, that's more misery. So maybe we do a little temporary sacrifice like an adult, a mother, a responsible parent. 27.99% interest rate, basically $100 an interest accrued so far this year. The balance has never been high on that card. You're just late on a payment for no fucking reason.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Why do you not set up auto pays? Yeah, that's a thing. I don't know. I just feel like. That's a thing. Okay. Yes. I should probably set up auto pay.
Starting point is 00:49:00 Why haven't you then? Because I feel like what if I just like I want to pay it like whenever I want to pay it. I think. That's not how this works. That's not how contracts work. You signed a fucking contracts. you get that? With the credit cards.
Starting point is 00:49:17 Yes. Well, I want to get rid of those. So I don't have to worry about that. Yeah, you can close the accounts. You're still going to have to make your payments. You owe the money that you borrowed. Right. I'm just saying, like, I'm trying to, like, get to where I can actually pay them all off and then never like...
Starting point is 00:49:34 How are you going to do that when you spend double what you make? Well, that's why I stopped spending on them. You spend double what you make, and that's not true. We already looked at the Amazon card where you were spending and you push it above your limit. You're like everything you're saying is legitimately incorrect. No, okay. So the Amazon and the Apple ones, yes, I still.
Starting point is 00:49:51 So also known as some of the cards. Yeah. But the big ones, like the $4,000 one. So I guess the other ones. How many discounts does USAA auto insurance offer? Too many to say here. Multi-vehicle discount. Safe driver discount.
Starting point is 00:50:07 New vehicle discount. Storage discount. How many discounts will you stack up? Tap the banner or visit usa.com slash auto discounts. Restrictions apply. It don't matter that are above the credit limits and not making payments on time and has interest accruing because other ones have bigger numbers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:24 You can use the FIS card. I will allow that because it only allows you to spend what's in your checking account. It's like a debit card and it builds your credit. I would close these other accounts because you're not a credit card person. You cannot be trusted with it. I would not trust you with a single cent of debt. That's fine. Who gives a...
Starting point is 00:50:39 It doesn't matter. It's okay that you can't be trusted with debt. Just don't allow yourself to have it. Don't allow yourself to have a tool that can. and fucking smashing your own fingers if you don't know how that, if you don't have the proper training, okay? Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:53 What is it? You tell me, where'd you get Fashion Nova and Amazon on? Oh. It's definitely a pay later. Is it like Klarna or like afterpay? You tell me. Probably Klarna or afterpay. Or a firm.
Starting point is 00:51:09 I use all of those. Oh, I'm sure you do. You've never met a debt you don't love. But those are fine. Those are fine? Yeah. $49.75 overdue.
Starting point is 00:51:22 They're fine, guys. Everything's great. Lady, you know nothing. You know nothing. Any account we talk about, you talk about and you have no idea what you're talking about. Not a single inkling of brain cell connection
Starting point is 00:51:42 for any document. No, okay. I do remember that. I do remember that. Oh. Yeah. She remembers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:54 I guess I was out of money. Oh, boy. Guys, it happened again. It happened to, yeah. Nothing, nothing will ever go wrong. Nothing will ever go wrong because this isn't the second time of this entire conversation that you said you ran out of money, right? Right?
Starting point is 00:52:08 Right? Right? Right. So you'll never ever miss a rent payment, right, right? You'll never miss any critical payment. You'll never miss a utility payment. You'll never not have enough money for groceries, right, right, right? Because we've never talked to. about in this conversation, not having enough money.
Starting point is 00:52:21 It's never possible. Having a dude bust will never result in a pregnancy. I don't know where my money is going. I feel like I... Why have you never made a budget? Why have you never tried? Because, okay, I get that. You didn't know where your money is going, but that's fine.
Starting point is 00:52:38 When you recognize that, then you're like, hmm, maybe I should do something. What's that something called? How to figure out my money. Make a budget is usually what comes up. Why would you not make a budget? Why would you not attempt? Why has there been no attempt? I've thought about making a budget.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Oh, you've thought about it. Yeah, no, I think about this a lot. Like, every month I'm like, okay, now I should make a budget. That is a lot of thinking for you, once a month. And then, like, you keep saying about I'm going to, like, get evicted or, like, miss my rent payment. It happens to millions of people. Well, I'm not, that's not going to happen because I have, like, earning. Is that the pay in advance thing?
Starting point is 00:53:20 Uh-huh. That's actually a really big problem right now. Every time you get... I'm stuck in like a loop. Yeah, that's what I was just going to say. You get stuck in a loop. So what happens? You can't pay that.
Starting point is 00:53:34 Actually, that's probably where my money is gone. Then you're double f***. Yeah. Then you're double f***. Yeah. So... Choo-choo! Well, so I...
Starting point is 00:53:45 I'm trying to like make it to where I don't have to use that ever again. But it's like so much. Try, try. This is what you've already said. Try. Try. What's your try? I've thought about making a budget.
Starting point is 00:53:56 You know what? I accomplished something this. I thought. No. I just get kind of overwhelmed, I guess. You're going to get more overwhelmed. But worse this gets. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:08 It's a confront it now or make it even worse later. It's always going to be worse. That's what I would like to happen. but... And I would like to have... Okay, so I'm gonna do something to change it. What? I'm going to make a budget.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Oh. And stick to it. Oh. Because I can do that. You can? Any cleaner proof that that is something I can reliably take as the truth? Do you not believe me? No. You don't. You're missing payments. You're not a reliable narrative on any document that we've talked about so far. You have no idea what your finances are and you're uncontrollable spending in every way possible and you have no discipline and you can hardly form a coherent thought. I don't know. I do not trust you or believe you.
Starting point is 00:55:04 I want you to do better. But that doesn't mean I'm just going to say I trust you to make you feel good. Nothing has been shown to me that would give me trust. I've hope. It's lacking. But I want you to, especially for the sake of your kid. Yeah, I mean, I feel like I make decent money, so. You do. That's not the problem. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:27 So you don't think I need to, like, make more money. More money is always great, I guess. But not if you spend even more than you make extra. I, I, is what you would do. Well, yeah. I'm very happy with my job. I'm. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:43 They treat me very well. I didn't suggest leaving that job. I don't know. No, I'm not. I don't think you did, but... Okay, well, we're over on Klarna again. So, $82 and... Well, actually...
Starting point is 00:56:05 Because you're fucking over to do all the fucking Fashion Nova bullshit. Bullshit. Stupid. Fashion Nova. What the fucking is a Fashion Nova? It's okay, because I actually returned all that stuff. And you got refunded? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Yeah, but... Well, actually, no, I didn't. No. I'm sorry. You're sorry. You just made me fucking cross it out of my doctor. now I have to write it again. No, okay.
Starting point is 00:56:28 I did return everything, but for some reason... Am I writing it in here or not? Um, no. No, sorry, yes. Oh! What you need? How? Oh!
Starting point is 00:56:42 Yeah, you can write it. It's fine. Now, let me ask this high school question again. I'm glad you graduated high school, but it didn't take you until you were 26? No. When your kid, attend school, are you required to attend with him? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:57:07 Oh, what do you mean? No. He's in school. He's in second grade. He's doing really well, just like I did. I did. I made really good grades in school. So you returned it, but you just didn't get a refund. Right, yeah. I didn't get a refund because for some reason they don't do refunds. They only do like credit and store credit.
Starting point is 00:57:29 Did you get that? Yeah, but it doesn't really help. Your monthly payment's $132 and something else since. This is one of your self-confessed. I still spend money. This one's like... It's not a big balance. This one's really bad.
Starting point is 00:57:51 I do some, yeah, it's maxed out. And sometimes, like, I'll... This is like the only credit card where you can like... Even if it's maxed out, you can like make a payment. You can not be trusted with that. You can not be trusted with that. You mean make a purchase? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:06 You cannot be trusted with that. You cannot know how to manage that. You can not be trusted with that. Now for a single second. your life. Look at you. I, uh, because they allow you to spend you just, oh my gosh. Fuck me, dude. I just, I, oh, I just, my, my, my, my, ladies and gentlemen, what an introduction into my brain right now. A little insight. I am blown away. What a creation this show has been over two and a half years. I am blown away. I am thankful that you're on here,
Starting point is 00:58:43 And I want you to get better and I want you to join our average $10,500 paid off in 10,500 paid off in 10 months from past guests or 11 months. I want that to happen to you. But I am blown away. I had no idea walking around that just random people, your random neighbors, your random family, people in the street, all of these people, there is so many of them that are like this. Not as an insult, I'm just like blown away that my finances were and I got them corrected, but I never had the mindset you have.
Starting point is 00:59:20 Because you understand it. I didn't even realize what was happening. Once I did, I fixed it. I just don't get it. I don't get it. And it just blows my mind. This show has been just the ultimate... I'm not ending it.
Starting point is 00:59:33 I'm not... I sound like I'm ending it. I'm not. But this has been like the most crazy wake-up. call. Crazy wake-up call. And you applied from the audience, yeah? Yes. So you watch the show? Yeah. This blows my mind. That's where 98% I think come from. I think actually 100% these days. I'm in the audience. This is below my mind. Okay. Nere monthly payment, 27 bucks. Oh, so many transactions. On which one? Amazon. Oh, no, Apple. Sorry, Apple. Tender. There is. I got that refunded, though.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Tinder more. Apple Bill. PayPal Voodoo. Yeah, but that was probably a movie for like my son to watch. Affirm. Tinder. Three Tinder purchases. Yeah, I was kind of crazy. Yes, I would say so. You did actually, we're right in the end about your assumptions, but you did also kind of act crazy. My fake accounts kept getting banned, so I like had to make. Oh, no, shit, fair enough. I had to make two more to like.
Starting point is 01:00:48 actually find them on there. So as many of you know, I've been a big supporter of course careers for a long time. I'm not just a partner. I actually own stock and I'm an investor. So why did I partner with course careers? Because I truly believe in what they're doing. A lot of people have questions about online certifications versus traditional college degrees. Let me be clear, I wouldn't put my name behind something unless I knew it worked. The thing is, not everyone has the time or resources to spend four years in college or take on massive student loan debt. Course careers offers a practical, affordable way to launch a career in a high demand field like tech sales, IT, and accounting, where companies are hiring based on the skills needed,
Starting point is 01:01:27 not broad college degrees. In fact, right now, one in three companies are dropping degree requirements, and that number is only going to continue to grow. I know some people think online programs are a quick fix, but that's not the case here. Course careers takes effort and commitment, but they provide you with a streamlined proven path. They offer up-to-date self-paced courses, one-on-one or group coaching from people that work in the industry, and most importantly, they help you actually get hired. Just look at graduates like Nemeso, who went from driving FedEx trucks to a cybersecurity job at Disney. That didn't happen by chance.
Starting point is 01:02:01 He put in the work, and course careers guided him every step of the way. And what truly sets course careers apart is that it's not just about learning skills, but landing a job. Their curriculum is designed based on what employers actually need, and their network of industry coaches will guide you through the entire process, from learning the skills to interviewing, resume help, and beyond. So if you're serious about starting a new career without wasting years or piling up debt, give course careers a try. Start with their free intro course linked in the description to explore your options, and when you're ready, use the link in the description for $50 off the full course. Your future starts right now, and course careers is here to help you shape it.
Starting point is 01:02:39 We're using other people's pictures? They were kind of like stock images. Other people's pictures. Yeah. Netflix. The lash lounge. The lash lounge? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:54 They look like eyelashes. I don't know. Did they look good? Um. No? Okay. I don't know what count as good lashes. They look kind of clumped up in like areas.
Starting point is 01:03:04 Oh, really? Well, they look like there's like, it looks like there's like five. Big clumps. Like horns. But maybe that's what good. You're great at protecting your data, but lots of places could still expose you to identity theft. I thought it was safe. If that happens, LifeLock gives you a U.S.-based restoration agent who will stick by your side from start to finish.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Phone calls, filing documentation, preparing insurance claims, your agent handles it all. In fact, we're so confident restoration is guaranteed. Pour your money back. Isn't it nice to have someone like that on your side? Save up to 40% your first year at LifeLock.com slash Spotify. Terms apply. Look at eyelashes. Her lashes look beautiful. Okay. Okay. Your lashes look good. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:03:50 I don't know what good lashes look like. That's not something I look at for people. Yeah. Okay. Well, it's on your eyes, so it's like the main thing that you're like looking at. Please. What? I'll look at everyone's feet first. Oh. I'm not kidding. I couldn't tell where I wanted to take that.
Starting point is 01:04:09 have $400 fucking dollars spent in that month that's crazy dude. Just Apple? Just Apple, $229 of interest this year so far. I don't see any fees, but I don't see a section for fees either.
Starting point is 01:04:23 I have a problem with that card. You have a problem with every card. There is not one that doesn't have a problem. If you don't know that at this point, I'm deeply concerned. So you're saying like if I were to just if there was no mispayments, then there wouldn't be a problem.
Starting point is 01:04:38 Not that there wouldn't be a problem, but your problems are exacerbated. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Do you know what that word means? Yeah, like they're more extreme. Okay, yes. Yeah. I wanted to make sure you didn't think I said, like, master...
Starting point is 01:04:52 No. Is that what you're thinking about? No. I just want to make sure you're able to understand the words. Okay. Yeah, no, I got it. I want to make sure I'm communicating correctly? Yeah, I got it.
Starting point is 01:05:02 It's more extreme. Auto. Brum, drive, drive. They let you drive. What are you talking about? Okay, what's your car? Oh, oh. It's a 2012 Honda Accord.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Mommobile. It only has like 120,000 miles. Hold on. Wait, is this a least? Wait. It's actually almost paid off. Yeah, it's kind of close. It's still two years away.
Starting point is 01:05:35 I don't know what you're talking about. Almost paid off. Well, I'm planning on trying to get it paid off sooner. Yes, while you spend double your income. And the monthly payment. payments on anything else. I don't know what you're talking about. It's only like $150 a month for my car payment. Your plan's a joke though. My car payment's like really low. I get it but you say I plan to but that does not make sense to the rest of
Starting point is 01:05:53 everything else we've looked at so far. I don't get how you get that. It's worth about $8,413 in its current condition. So you do have positive equity on this. It'd be the one thing I'm not freaking out about other than it's close to an 11% interest sucks. You're likely halfway through that interest paying period. We're more is not going to principal, but even still, it's not great. It's not great. But you have positive equity. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:19 How is it doing? It's fine. It's really great. 120,000. Okay. And you do maintenance? Yeah. When I got it, I actually, I put like $10,000 down.
Starting point is 01:06:31 So what? When did you get it? Like three years ago? But I put... How much? I think it was kind of overpriced. It was like during that time where like all the cars were like super overpriced.
Starting point is 01:06:44 Yeah. And I think it was like selling for like 16,000 maybe. And then I put 10,000 down and finance like 6,000. Yeah, majority is by far going to principle today, 113 and then 30 goes to interest. So you're in the good half of this loan. Okay. So not fantastic having a minimumity payment for someone that can't do minimumity payments. I can do them.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Stop the cap. I would say... We're like nine missed payments a year or something. And if I could see in this car, if you were ever late or missed, I don't know. If I'm able to look him back in time. That one's actually on autopay. That one is on auto pay.
Starting point is 01:07:29 Good, but I would have, like, you had one that bounced. Well, then I would just use earning. Well, if you didn't have enough in earning. Okay, City Double Cash. I actually quite like this card. Oh, you're abusing it. Well, it's abusing you now, actually. I think that one got
Starting point is 01:07:49 I think that one got closed Why for why Oh wait closed or sent to the collections No no just closed Like they closed the account Good good Good Because guess what
Starting point is 01:08:00 Uh oh late fees who would have thought Minerone's the payment Usually 107 but you're behind by two Behind by two Yes Yeah Like I said the last couple of months Have been kind of bad
Starting point is 01:08:14 Like that's when everything really started He was never paying for rent You spent a couple hundred bucks on dating apps and VPNs and texting things. But what got so bad? He didn't pay for anything. Sometimes he would. Like he would just be kind of inconsistent. Well, not you're changing your damn story.
Starting point is 01:08:27 No, okay. So he would do like certain things that kind of helped out, but it wasn't like directly paying rent. If that makes sense. Like he would buy food, but I would pay the rent. Or he would, yeah. Interest accruing, fees accruing. $2,600. and 13 cents.
Starting point is 01:08:48 Takes 10 years to pay off only the minimum of payment. Late fee, there it is. Total fees charged this year so far. Looks like you've had about three late fees. We're out of 12 late fees. How many months are there in a year? 12. Oh.
Starting point is 01:09:08 You also have like advanced purchases as well. What is that? Cash advance purchases. Hmm? Cash advanced purchases. Where I took money out of the credit card. Yes, that or you had that pull into your checking account to prevent a bounce.
Starting point is 01:09:21 That might have been what I did. Yeah. Which is also horrendous. Yeah. Yeah. It looks like, dude. I'm crazy. Can't you,
Starting point is 01:09:31 do you realize just where you've gotten your life? Like, this is such a scary. My life is great. I'm happy. I'm buying my happiness. No. No. No.
Starting point is 01:09:45 And I'm still making sure things are getting paid. Maybe they're late, but they're still getting paid. You're delusional. You're not happy. You're delusional. I probably am delusional. You are delusional. Have you heard this conversation so far? From my ex, yeah. He said the same thing about me. $529.89.084 cents owed on, let's call this one.
Starting point is 01:10:12 What was the Clarnia 2? It doesn't matter. Oh, God. Oh, my God. Does that say NFL? Yes. I bought him like a $300 like NFL hoodie, but I did return that. And was it refunded? Yes, it was. Okay, what do you owe on this now?
Starting point is 01:10:33 Can I look at it right now? Yes. Okay. So I'm sure you racked it back up. What does it say on there? Just tell me the fucking thing. 800. 800.
Starting point is 01:10:46 You're right, you didn't rack it back up. You fucking almost doubled it. Oh, you don't know anything. This conversation is mind-blown. Look, I have like... This conversation is literally mind-blowing. You said A-90? Um, yes, 800.
Starting point is 01:11:05 What's your payment minimum? My payment minimum on Klarna? Yeah, the one you just pulled up, dude. It depends on which purchase that you're talking about. All of them. Um, okay, so in the next seven days, it's $30. And then in January, it's $500. There's like four Sephora purchases on here.
Starting point is 01:11:29 What are you getting? And then there's like some... I like to buy things for my son. So far not in the purchases. No, like that's what I was... I saw one like, fucking pajamas set for him. Other than that, it's all for mommy. No, that's what I was going to say next.
Starting point is 01:11:40 It's a kid's a foot locker. That's expensive one though, is it? It was like $100. Okay, so that's not the $500 payment. No, no, no. $500 is like the total of everything. Everything owed? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:55 The minimum payment? No, no, no. That's just how many minimum payment. That's what all the minimum payment. payments equal in January. Yeah. $500. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Oh, lady. Marmesee's Ha'n and Soror, so for, so-or, so-war, with Verizon card? I used to work at Verizon. It was a good back then. Hmm? It was, like, good for me back then. How? Again, you're not a reliable narrator about any of this.
Starting point is 01:12:23 Um. How was it good? Well, okay. You know what the word good means and actions? Not good, but it gave me like. benefits to my job when I worked there. So the job was good. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:35 We're talking about the card. Okay, $539.14 with a $30 minimum fee payment. It takes 15 months to pay it off. Interest was $4.19. Total interest paid. 114. Surprisingly no late fees on this card this year so far. The first one, by the way.
Starting point is 01:12:59 That is true. One. You did one out of... One, two, three, four. six, seven, eight, nine, ten. One. Over a 30% interest. Is that all your debt?
Starting point is 01:13:15 Yeah, that's it. My phone is financed, but. I'm sure it is. Cash app, okay. Three in, three ten in, three ten out. Let's see. Transfering, transferring from people, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 01:13:31 Artisan nail lounge. You can do nails every second of your life. More artisan nail lounge, and then Ben, or Cash App and someone 40. stuff on Amazon to do it myself. The nails, the pressons that you saw? Yeah, and then you didn't do it because you're not wearing them. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:47 Well, but these are just short, so. They didn't do this at the salon. I did it. Where's all this cash going to who and why and where? On cash app. Well, okay, my, sometimes my, my dad cash apps me. I think I receive more than I send. Where are you sending it to?
Starting point is 01:14:10 I don't think I've sent any on cash up. We had some money being sent. It was about at least 40. Does it show you the name? We blacked it for privacy reasons. I cannot see. Do you want me to check? No, it's fine.
Starting point is 01:14:22 I just hoping you could be able to tell me something. But it's beyond clear in our 20 minutes and that you are unable to do that. It was probably my sister. $735 in a checking account. Why? Your sister, what? Oh, my sister. I don't remember what it was for, but I think she just needed a bar.
Starting point is 01:14:42 with some money. Did she pay it? Did she pay me back? No, I told her it was fine. Sister like sister. Sephora, going in and getting some bullshit from Circle K. Amazon, Amazon,
Starting point is 01:14:57 Amazon, Hollister, Macy, Sephora, Sephora, Steve Madden, going in getting some BS, Amazon, Starbucks, cash app out, 30 bucks. Oh, well, no, actually that's the artesian Scooter coffee. Oh, okay, yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:11 It was probably to the nail salon. No, that one was. Okay. Afterpay McDonald's, Target, Amazon, Prime. I don't know if that was video or just Amazon and then Amazon. Sephora, Apple Cash sent out. To be fair, Sephora. You're really going to, to be fair me?
Starting point is 01:15:32 Yeah, we just went through Christmas and a lot of that Sephora stuff was also from my sister. You can't afford Christmas. You can't afford your bills. Christmas is not an intention. Entitlement. Oh, good. Twizzy. Transaction on your main checking account.
Starting point is 01:15:47 Twixie? To buy Instagram followers. Not for me. I did like one of those pranks that were you like buy your ex, like a thousand followers to make it look like they bought themselves followers. That classic prank that everyone knows. Have you guys? Is this just me? I'm up.
Starting point is 01:16:08 You got them. He deleted his Instagram after that. Oh, actually? Mm-hmm. Cash app, Starbucks, Sephora, McDonald's, Clarnah, Baskin'Robins, or Dunkin' Donuts, Venwayne out $21. Sephora. Hollister, Amazon, McDonald's, Prime Video, Billy Harwick. Uber trip.
Starting point is 01:16:29 Apple Cash, son out. Oh, my. This really just keeps going, doesn't it? Doesn't it? Doesn't it? Doesn't it? Doesn't it? Oh, good!
Starting point is 01:16:34 Oh, good. Nothing like a good overdraft fee? That's like overdraftsing on our fucking checking account. Not even your checking account. Not even your checking account can be good. Literally not one account is allowed to be without just absolute. Usually that never happens. I don't give a fucking happens.
Starting point is 01:16:57 Usually? Yeah. Usually I never murder someone. That doesn't get me out of a murder. Can I explain? Okay. Look, when me and my ex broke up, I was like really- Always comes like to X.
Starting point is 01:17:07 Guess what, guys? We're not responsible for anything. I was really depressed and I kind of just didn't care about like everything for a while. And I like didn't check like my pain. Talk to the damn therapist at Sondra mine. They're great. Use your free sessions. I think these are cheaper than therapy.
Starting point is 01:17:24 These purchases. I think free therapy is pretty cheap. Free? Do you hear words? I don't know. I feel like I don't really. Maybe it would be, I haven't tried it. Maybe it would be good.
Starting point is 01:17:38 Buddy. Oh, you're a... You're a lost cause. Coach? Oh, like bag coach? Mm-hmm. Great. I'm sure you didn't have any bags.
Starting point is 01:17:50 Went in, got some BS and T.J. Max. Great. This is fucking amazing. Let's get your budget. Let's figure out your minimum wage payments. Only now. Once you... I'm going to get your...
Starting point is 01:18:05 I'm going to get what your minimumsy payments are on the cards once you catch up. Okay. Once you catch up on them, instead of owing that big back crap. Even when you catch up, your total minimum payment is a third of your income. It's a thousand, about a fourth after child's born everything. $1,0.447.81. Okay, what's your rent? My rent is $13.50.
Starting point is 01:18:31 Utility? Let's get gas, gas and electric. For utilities, that would be like six. My company like groups everything together. Company? Like rental company. Okay. So they group like the rent with the utilities.
Starting point is 01:18:50 So utilities is included in the $1,300. No, no, no, it's not. Okay. What is your, how much for your utilities, lady? Lady, lady, utilities, number. $200. So that including the internet? No.
Starting point is 01:19:04 How much for internet? $40 a month. Gas, Vroom, Vroom, drive, drive. $80 a month. Car insurance. $150. TP fund, anything else you need to survive? I'm going to do $200 for you and your kid.
Starting point is 01:19:17 Necessary food. You and your kid, $500. Use the meal plan, meal prep. He's not going to be very happy. I don't give a fuck. He's going to eat his food. He's really picky. You got to make it work.
Starting point is 01:19:26 Again, talk to the therapist about it. The fact is you just can't afford it. And you got a meal prep. Make his favorite foods. Meal prep his favorite foods. But you just got a meal prep a couple days a week. It's the only way to do it. You can do it at $500.
Starting point is 01:19:37 bucks. Medical? Anything medical health care on a monthly basis? Um, no, it's already taken out of my check. I know, but do you have prescriptions or anything? No. No. Jim? Not yet, but I want to start. Okay, I'll give you, uh, 40 bucks. Okay. It should be fine. I'm not going to have any subscriptions for, do you have any pets?
Starting point is 01:20:04 No. Thank you. Any other payments that are. I have not taken an account that need to be in your budget. Um, my, the child care. No, that needs to be an expense. An expense? In your budget.
Starting point is 01:20:19 Do you know what a budget is? Yeah, I'm saying include the child care. Into your income? No. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry, child care. So like after school care? Mm-hmm. Okay, how much?
Starting point is 01:20:28 It's $50 a week. That's not bad. 200 bucks a month. Mm-hmm. Okay. $3,757. $0.81. and then with your average income,
Starting point is 01:20:40 on an average month with the child support, or about 4,114 net. Mm-hmm. Good. Okay, so with the $356 left over on a monthly basis, first order business is to get caught up on all the minimum of payment. So that has to do with your quick silver card,
Starting point is 01:20:56 your double cash. Once you're caught up on those, then we prioritize, let's just do snowball to keep you prioritized. Smallest balance to largest balance. Smallest balance, the largest balance. I actually did just pay off one credit card. Which one?
Starting point is 01:21:15 It was a... Oh, so one I don't even have? Yeah, I didn't include that one. Great. Well, we're behind on payments, so... But, okay, cool. Very good. Well, how much was it that you paid off?
Starting point is 01:21:27 The balance on that one was pretty low, so I kept making payments toward it, and it was like... Okay, smallest, after you catch up in your payments after about two months, okay? Mm-hmm. And everything's back to just normal minimum monothees, you're gonna, small, slurges. This should take three years. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:51 But. So I'll be 30. Mm-hmm. I feel like that's a good place to be. You did math on your own. No, I'm just excited. No, I know. I'm kidding. I'm sorry. I'm being a dick. Whatever the hangary version of.
Starting point is 01:22:11 there. Why don't you just rub that in my face? Yeah, three years. But you can boost that. Continual raises, obviously. And if you get it like a part-time job, maybe some customer service from home, you know, call center stuff, if you're able to do some stuff in the evening, once you put the kid asleep even, work just a few hours, whatever it might be or just email support. We pay a customer support representative for our classes and stuff like that. And she's remote.
Starting point is 01:22:36 And, you know, she's just going through our emails. So anything you can pick up, dude, literally if you're bringing an extra 300 $156 a month, you double this process. You make it a year and a half instead of three. And all you have to do is bring in an extra $316 a month. I think that's worth it. Isn't it? It is worth it, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:51 Bring an extra thousand. Let's get this over in a year. Then get a fully funded six-month emergency fund. That's critical for you in your position as a single mom. So you need to get a six-month emergency fund. Everything you need to survive six months or 10,000 hours, which everyone is higher. That's the step. I would try to go get a little more money.
Starting point is 01:23:06 I'm not saying leave your job. But let's try to get this taken care of in a year and a half, get a fully funded emergency fund pay off all our bad debt by two years. Two years total. Then you're going to contribute 20% to retirement until you die. Well, until you retire. 20% on a monthly basis. To my 401k?
Starting point is 01:23:23 Honestly, it might be easier for you to just, yes, call it your 401k, 20%. Okay. Let's leave it there. You can go through the investing class and the budgeting class and the debt class. So you get all the education around this. Take all the quizzes. You guys get it for 15% off.
