Starting point is 00:00:00 Now streaming on Disney Plus, the Hulu original series Furious follows FBI agent Alice Black, played by Emmy Rossum, on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating serial killer. Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur. New episodes week over week. Watch the Hulu Original Series Furious, now streaming only on Hulu on Disney Plus. episodes of Financial Audit a week earlier, check us out on YouTube. She always throws it on me.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Like, it's entirely been my fault, my problem, that I'm the cause. And then all of a sudden, uh, uh, no, I'm talking. Alice doesn't want to talk to me about any problems until they boil over and then we're sitting there yelling at each other. Choose those words very carefully next time or I'm making you walk home. You're a bad father. You're a bad partner. Oh, at the end of the day, I just wish she was thankful and stop f-fishing about everything.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Oh my god, you gotta be fucking kidding me. That's always. Merry Christmas in July. I'm in a giving mood, even for you naughty ones. Budget, debt, investing, real estate, all of it. 50% off right now. Not sure where you stand. My new and improved hammer quiz does the dirty work for you.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Two minutes and you'll know exactly how naughty or nice your finances look. Plus, next steps based on your score. Take the quiz, then take advantage of 50% off and finally fix your friends. finances for good. My name is Alice. I am 28 years old. And I'm Corvo. I'm 26 years old. We live in McKinery, Illinois. And this is financial audit. No one dresses like that that is not going to either mash you to school or two flash a bunch of children. It always involves kids in the end with people like you, though.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Absolutely. What the fuck are you wearing? Oh, so this is a World War II U.S. uniform. Why the fuck are you wearing that? Because, you know, reenacting is my hobby. It's my passion. So That's what I'm here to do. Show them. That's what you're here to do. You're going to reenact the military on my show? 100%. That's why you guys got the camouflage behind me.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Okay, in which side are you reenacting? Are we killing the Jews or are we killing the Germans? All the above. All the above, yeah, really. I do every side. It's easier to list like uniforms I haven't worn from World War II than it is to list the ones I have. Stop asking questions. Stop doing meta-commentary.
Starting point is 00:02:25 Just have fun. Can I see you stab yourself with a sword? out of shame on the Japanese side. Like Harukyria? Well, we have them here, don't we? Don't we have some? I believe we have those swords. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:40 So, all right. That would get her off the hook. Yeah. You're the problem. I don't know if you are. But thanks for coming down. I've just never seen. And then you're wearing like a fucking millennial shirt.
Starting point is 00:02:51 What are we doing? May spontaneously start talking about falconry. Great. Okay. I'm a falconer, so. Animal lover through and through with her. Yeah. You guys are 26, 28.
Starting point is 00:03:01 You guys are acting like elder millennial. You guys seen that meme? No. That's what you guys, that's what you guys dressed up as. Okay, that's okay. Sorry, I'm not hating you guys. I'm just noticing it right now. It's just kind of startling as we're getting started.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Alice, what do you do for a living? Up in McHenry, Illinois, never heard of it. I am a AP clerk, so I make sure that the company I work for, their bills get paid. That's good, pretty basic. That'll be AI soon. RIP. Sorry. What do you make? I make a salary 25.
Starting point is 00:03:35 $1,000 a year. It's part-time. Ah, okay. I was going to say, I don't think that's necessarily legal. That makes sense. What's your hourly? How many hours are you doing? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. How many hours are you doing a week? It depends.
Starting point is 00:03:53 In the contract of the salary. It really does not. Okay. Well, it's 25 a year, right? Yeah. No matter what? I can work five hours a week or I can work 60 hours a week. It really depends. Normal.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Normal? Normal. Maybe about 20. Okay. Are you happy with that wage? Why are you doing part-time? I have kids at home. No, God, please.
Starting point is 00:04:16 No! Oh, you guys have made kids. Yeah, we have two. We have two little ruggrets. Okay. Very good. Cool. So what are the ages?
Starting point is 00:04:25 Two in six months. Two in six months, yeah. Ah, okay. So you're still able to go blast up that school before, though. 100% I don't think you should be agreeing with that but of the $25,000 a year
Starting point is 00:04:39 what does that break down to on a monthly paycheck basis? Let's see. Or biweekly or whatever the cycle is. Byweekly, I get $795. Wow. Geez, good. We're a 90s income. Yep.
Starting point is 00:04:54 795, you said? Yep. Some odd change. Jeff. Okay, 1590. please, Mr. Corvo, please have a decent income because that's terrifying.
Starting point is 00:05:06 I don't know, McEnreys, this is the suburb of Chicago? No, it's like Booneville, basically. Okay, well, that helps with cost of living. What do you do, buddy? So I work at a meatpacking plant. I'm the label coordinator there, the most Chicago thing. Do you coordinate the labels?
Starting point is 00:05:19 Yes. To coordinate the fucking, oh, you're not going to make money, are you? What do you make? 1875 an hour. Okay. At least it's not Chicago. It's more rural. Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Booneville, as you say, thank goodness, because that I do not know how we would be surviving. How many hours a week are we? So 40 plus. 40 plus. Well, what's the plus? The plus is like if they come in the last five minutes and then they're like, oh, hey, what's the average? So let's just say 42 hours a week. How much longer, maybe a little better than her job, but how much longer are we going to be relying on humans to do labels?
Starting point is 00:05:56 Probably not very long. I just, I don't think I've had two people come on this show and have the most like, oh, we're going to be f***ed in the next couple of years, jobs. Oh, yeah. This is labels. We're talking about labels. Labels. I thought we got rid of humans doing labels honestly 20 years ago. No, I'm more like also regulatory.
Starting point is 00:06:14 So I have to follow USDA guidelines and make sure that the labels in compliance with all that. Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm happy you're doing it. I'm just, I bet that will be read via a camera very soon. And Claude will say, oh, you're good. ask you how you are you, you just have to say that you're fine and you're not really fine. I hope not for the sake of you. I'm not cheering for this guys, to be clear. I want you guys to have any, I would rather you have a better income. This is very scary of what's happening.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Okay. So what's your per paycheck and what's that paycheck cycle? So it's weekly and it's $750 gross and then about $6.35 net. Okay. So 10.52 divided by 12. I also do have a second job to also supplement our income as well. It's because, you know, that gets us through, but it doesn't exactly help us out. Yeah, I was going to say, because you're making net $40,000 a year. Again, for the rural area, not much. So please tell me, what are your grinds on the outside? Because right now, our literal monthly income is $4,840.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Now, that becomes survivable for that area. Again, if we're in Chicago, it would be struggling, but that becomes survival in McHenry. What are these side jobs? Oh, well, you f***ed-inacted. Please don't say that's a job. No, I don't get paid for that. Because no one would.
Starting point is 00:07:30 There's actually people that do get paid for it. A couple people, just like anything ever, yes. There's going to be a couple painters that make a incredible amount of money. Doesn't mean everyone does, but go ahead. Yeah, my second job is I work at the McHenry Outdoor Theater. It's one of the only surviving outdoor theaters with like the original tower and everything. The original tower? So like the projector, like where the projector projects the movie, it's the original tower
Starting point is 00:07:53 to when the original theater was opened. So people go there for the... original tower? Well, yeah, because we're one of the only ones that's left in the United States. Who's excited about the tower? Well, who's going there for the tower? They're more excited for the movie. They are more excited for the movies, but I get excited for the tower because, you know, it's like, oh, that's the original to the original. Like, that's awesome. Built in, built in, uh, 1967. Okay, so the late 60s, great. Historic landmark. Yep, absolutely. Okay, great. Okay, and what do you make doing the coordinator? So you tell people where to park?
Starting point is 00:08:35 Yeah, so I could do parking. I tell people not to add to the population in the parking lot. Find a lot of stuff you probably wouldn't want to touch in the parking lot. Condoms. Condoms. Had a couple times where it was like a portable pisser that you take on camping, and it's literally you piss into the bag and they just threw it out their window. And that was an interesting day. Okay. Okay, good. What do you make? How many hours do you do a week in that? So right now it's lower hours because the season is just beginning, but 16, 50 an hour. And then right now, about every two weeks, it's, they're very low paychecks of only like $75, but we did recently just go to full time. Who's we?
Starting point is 00:09:17 We isn't the staff. What are you going to make? So usually 20, 30 hours is what they're going to be talking about for the rest of the season. Okay, well, I mean, that'll definitely boost you guys to a decent place for McHenry, which I assume is, again, a lower cost of living area. Okay, so what's going on, guys? We are barely surviving. Are you sure it's we?
Starting point is 00:09:40 Because I read a note of him saying she needs to get her shit together. Yeah, she doesn't need to do. Really? I need to get my shit together. That's what he said coming in. I don't know what you mean by I need to get my shit together. I put 95% of my paycheck towards bills. Yeah, well, I have to work two jobs to make sure that we get through all of it, so I don't even understand that.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Yeah, and you give $200 per of your paycheck for the house, and I give $600 of my paycheck to the house. You know what? Whose fault that is for not talking to me about what we actually need? It's your fault. My fault? Absolutely. Absolutely. Because I don't talk because you're never even f***ing home. Because you're off camping with the boys. You're camping with the boys. You're going to Pennsylvania for a reenactment. You're going camping next week after we're. get home from Texas. Yeah, I am.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Because my high school friends were like, hey, we're going to be hanging out this weekend. You want to come with us? Okay, so your kid has a doctor's appointment that I can really use your help with to go and take her to so I can stay home with the toddler. Well, that is why you work part-time, though, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Okay, continue, sure. Sorry, get it all out, girl. I feel pent up energy here. I'm not home because I'm trying to make money so that we're okay and we're surviving. Did you camp here? No. Why the fuck didn't you shower?
Starting point is 00:10:52 I did shower. Oh. He is naturally greasy. I am naturally greasy, yeah. It's that Italian in me, unfortunately. No, it is not. Okay. So how often he's going camping away from you guys?
Starting point is 00:11:07 He is home maybe for the weekend twice a month. He is... Brother. Well, you got young kids. What are you doing? I'm sorry, yes, she's part-time so she can take care of the kids. It makes sense. I don't think you're working two jobs to take care of the house.
Starting point is 00:11:23 I think you're working two jobs. so you can go on your little excursions with the boys constantly. Well, it does help, but at the same time, like... Come on. Is that not it? Yeah, no, you're going off to go hang out with the boys so you don't have to come home and take care of the kids. I love taking care of the kids. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:11:39 When was the last time you gave any of our kids a bath? Never. You've never given them a bath. He's never taken a bath. Yeah, well, to be honest with you, I'm still terrified about giving them a bath. So that's one of the things I get terrified about. Cleanliness. Yeah, cleanliness.
Starting point is 00:11:54 scares the shit out of me. Mm-hmm. What time does our oldest go to bed? Usually midnight. No. Wrong again, idiot. 11. What time does the youngest go to bed?
Starting point is 00:12:06 Usually 9 or 10. No, 7.30. Oh, that one was further off. That one was a lot off. What, are you off on that? I mean, you're at least home then. He's on video games. Yeah, I do.
Starting point is 00:12:17 He comes home, says hi to me and the kids, sits his butt down. I'm going to put on video games. I'm going to play War Thunder. Yeah, I do play War Thunder and, and like a bunch of other video games. Is that a tank game? Yeah, it's like a tank game.
Starting point is 00:12:29 You can do tanks, airplanes, stuff like that. Why aren't you contributing to this fucking house? I do. I do the paycheck. I'm out of the paycheck. There's more to do. The wife needs a little, you know, help here and there. I do. I clean the house.
Starting point is 00:12:43 I vacuum because you leave the house a fucking mess. That's not true. Not true. I do vacuum. You're joking. Yeah, maybe once every two to three months. Because you haven't done it in two weeks. How's that my fault?
Starting point is 00:12:56 You're the one that broke the vacuum last, and you're like, okay, please fix it. Okay, I'll go fix it. Three days later, can you, hey, can you fix the vacuum? Yeah, I'll fix it. Three days later, hey, can you fix the vacuum? Yeah, I'll fix it. It has been six months since the vacuum's been broken.
Starting point is 00:13:11 You know what? And that's because I have the two jobs that I'm working. That's what's bring it back to that. Yeah, one job that you... Why don't buy another vacuum? I mean... It's money. It's money.
Starting point is 00:13:22 That we don't have. I know, but you got to clean the house and you can get it. cheap vacuum. Yeah, Facebook Marketplace. Facebook could and get a going. Yeah, but you won't even let me leave the house to go meet up for Facebook Marketplace. You won't even let me go. Wait, that doesn't make any sense. You're hanging out with your boys constantly, including on gaming overnight.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Why can't she go outside? Well, because, like, we grew up in that area where there's, like, the Craigslist murders and stuff like that, where they're luring people. So, like, what is any different of Facebook marketplace, man? We interrupt this program to bring you, Courage, the Cowardly Dog Show. Yeah, he's afraid that if I leave the house with the kids,
Starting point is 00:13:52 we're going to get robbed, kids stolen, and me killed. So you're, do you go outside? No. I can go outside in the backyard and maybe take the kids to the park. That's a little weird, dude. Hey, you know what? She also decides not to go out too. So that's on her, that's wholly on her.
Starting point is 00:14:06 I will tell her, get the hell out of the house. And she'll just be like, oh, no, I don't want to go out of the house because I don't want to leave the kids with you because she'll get emotional. Yeah, you do. You'll get emotional with the kids? Sometimes they do overwhelm it. Overwhelming a little bit. Then don't have kids.
Starting point is 00:14:21 What the fuck is wrong with you? hey maybe if you weren't on the screens 24 hours a day and doing reenactments you'd have a little sense of normalcy and not get overwhelmed by a child maybe you need a little actual interaction with them on a consistent basis to prepare you for what it's like to be with them alone why'd you father children if you can't handle children and less than that why'd you bring a second one why'd you bring a second one and if you're going to handle the first one to be quite honest they were both accidents and i love them dearly okay why we're in condoms of birth control Or SNIP?
Starting point is 00:14:53 We were wearing condoms for the second one, at least. That one ripped. Yeah, that one definitely did rip. Okay, but you learned it. You learned that a rip? Not until after. So take a plan B. Yeah, you didn't even tell me that it ripped.
Starting point is 00:15:06 Oh, that's totally wrong. I did tell you. You did not. You, no, that is. Why did you not tell her? That's crazy. I did tell her. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:15:15 She's gaslighting me right now. And she's saying that it's my fault that it was. Maybe she just doesn't remember. And there's two people involved in that. 90% of the time. you think you have conversations. He will start a conversation in the middle of the conversation. I'm like, hold up, what the fuck are you even talking about? Oh, you know X, Y, Z. And I'm like, well, why didn't you say that in the first place before you started with ABC? That's how my brain works.
Starting point is 00:15:38 I'll think of a solution later to someone we were talking. Well, I'm not a mind reader. Well, maybe you should be. Ashlaw. I am not a gypsy. I cannot read your f*** mind. Maybe you should get a crystal ball then. Uh-huh, sure. Burned down the whole house. Yeah. Burned down the whole house. Put it next to the window. Mm-hmm. Right. Yeah. Great. Great. Sometimes I feel like burning down the house with all of your shit in it.
Starting point is 00:16:07 What does that mean? We have a, what, 12 by 14 shed has nothing but is reenacting stuff in it. No, it's all the back wall and then the rest of it. It's not in the house. Yeah, it's not in the house. Some of it is in the house. Oh. But honestly, I move that stuff out there. so it was out of your way,
Starting point is 00:16:23 so the kids had somewhere to play in that little shit box we have. Okay, that is fair. But how... Why do you guys live there if you hate it so much? What are you talking about? Well, because housing market sucks.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Housing market in Illinois, for us is terrible. Do you own this? Yes, we do. But you buy it? We were both in really bad situations and we both needed out of the house. Great, rent.
Starting point is 00:16:44 What the fuck you were talking about? Why'd you have to buy it? We don't want to rent because we figured... If you're in an emergency situation, rent, don't buy a house that... Dude, you won't even let her outside. How scary is it around this house? Not at all, admittedly, but like at the same time, like, dude, you always hearing about these people.
Starting point is 00:17:00 What's the demographic and what is this, McHenry? Mainly white. Huh? Wait, you said demographic, right? Well, yes. It's mainly a white neighborhood, so, like, they, we commit the most crimes. Huh? Per capita, right?
Starting point is 00:17:15 Per capita? That's what I, or population-wise, we commit the most crimes, so that's why I'm terrified sometimes of it. Or pro-f- Yeah. Well, not per capita, I don't think. That we get maybe once a year. Well, it's also like... Wait, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:17:27 You have to be able to let her outside. Like, the kids have to go outside. No, they're allowed to go outside. She was saying different. Like, that's kind of crazy. I can go outside in the backyard and, like, take the kids apart. Like, the kids... I tell her, take the kids for walks all the time.
Starting point is 00:17:40 You know what ends up happening? She doesn't. Well, you know what? If she goes and takes a walk herself and leaves the kids with you, you have an emotional breakdown. Yeah, and then you're in a mood for the rest of the day. Well, you know what? I just got to get used to it.
Starting point is 00:17:50 I'm solely am. It's getting better. Is he? Because, like, how often can you actually leave the kids with them? I can't take a shower. That's crazy. Yeah, she, because the kids, my daughter, really just goes crazy when she's not in sight. Yeah, you know, because that's how you've trained them.
Starting point is 00:18:09 It's 100% mom. Never dad. I'm always out of the house working, too. And going to reenactments and going camping and going out for drinks with the boys. Come on. I invite her to go to that stuff and she doesn't want to do anything where we have to... The kids. What would she do with them?
Starting point is 00:18:27 Yeah, we're going to call... No, we could call my parents or we could call your parents. Last minute? Yes, absolutely. We didn't have access to my parents until the last, what, three months? Well, yeah, and you know what? I'm very thankful for them that they did that, that they're even right now with our kids. Okay, so they can watch the kids.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Yes. We should do that even more and more because obviously the kids need some separation. They do. But also, you need to have some contact with them, you freak. I do. Now, you're a weirdo. You wouldn't even let her go to the grocery store and being read because there's a shooting four towns away.
Starting point is 00:19:02 Yes. Like, you're a freak, man. Ah, no, I'm not a freak. That's freak behavior. They need to be able to live life. Yeah, but your helicopter parenting is going to prevent these kids from growing up in any sensual normalcy. They're going to be weirdos.
Starting point is 00:19:17 It's going to be like you. Oh, yeah, because I'm such a. terrible example. Aren't you? You stay away from your family. You can't be around your kids. You don't shower. I would say, actually, not the best example.
Starting point is 00:19:31 I would disagree. That's the counter argument then. And that's the common argument. Is it? So other people say this? No, between us. Because I'm like, you need to stay home every weekend. Visit BetMGM Casino and check out the newest exclusive.

It's like, can you stay home and go take our sun outside, go to the park? Okay, yeah, I can do that, and he's back within a half hour. Not just that, but buddy, if you're going every other weekend with the boys camping somewhere, she at least deserves one weekend where she can do something. And that's what I tell her.
Starting point is 00:20:33 No, because you break the down the moment the kids are with you for five seconds. And I told her, go regardless. I could put my headphones on or something so I don't hear it. Your headphones on. Yes. So in that way, like if they're like just unconsolable, I can put my headphones on, calm down, and then try to figure out what the issue is. You won't even clean the house.
Starting point is 00:20:50 How the fuck is she going to feel comfortable? I do clean the house. How is she going to feel comfortable having like a spa weekend somewhere? Yeah, especially since the one time you got so mad when I was in the hospital, you broke the damn laundry basket. Okay, what happened? After we gave birth to my daughter, she caused a hematoma on my right kidney. So I was pretty much bleeding internally.
Starting point is 00:21:11 And so they wanted to do some monitoring. This was his first night alone with the two kids. And something happened. And you got pissed off and broke. the laundry baskets. Yeah, because I made them dinner and then he almost burnt himself, so I had to get him out
Starting point is 00:21:24 and from in front of the oven. That sounds like having kids. Yes, yeah. What the f- I don't even have them and I know it. Like, what the fuck you're talking about? What, and you couldn't handle that
Starting point is 00:21:33 and you fucking went on a temper tantrum and broke shit? To be honest with you too, that whole situation was emotionally like I was on flight or flight mode and- Well, I can understand having your wife in the hospital, yes.
Starting point is 00:21:45 That part could make sense. Does that mean we go into anger person? We break shit. Come on, buddy. It was the only- What's the wrong with you? Go jerk off in a corner. Get it out.
Starting point is 00:21:54 I don't think I've ever angry jerked it off in a corner before, so I don't think that would work for me. It is a stress reduction, I will tell you that. Better than breaking shit in front of the kids. No, the kids weren't in, it was not in front of the kids.
Starting point is 00:22:04 They were both in the living room and I closed their bedroom door. And then just started to break your laundry baskets? No. You're a freak. Yeah, like it... You went into the kids' room to break the laundry basket.
Starting point is 00:22:15 No, I closed... It wasn't even art. I closed the door, and it, got hooked on my foot and that was the last draw and then I took it out in the laundry basket. Okay, so I guess I think I completely understand
Starting point is 00:22:33 her reluctance to leave them with you. Couldn't handle that. She said that was their first night ever with them alone. Yes, that was their... And you couldn't... And you were breaking shit. No shit. She's never going to walk out that house without the kids. Dude, you're a f***ing mess.
Starting point is 00:22:50 A why even have the fucking kids? the first place if you can't handle it. I love them. Okay. That was a complete... Dude, you don't know what time they go to bed. No, I don't.
Starting point is 00:23:02 I don't. And you love them? You're gaming instead of having the time with them. The six-year-old's... The six-month-year-old is... The six-month-old is imprinting right now. It's going to have the same problem
Starting point is 00:23:15 that two-year-old has in the end, because you're never around. Hmm. Well, I'm trying to do better at that. No, you're not. You're a pathetic. father. No. From everything I've heard, you disagree.
Starting point is 00:23:26 What is it? What is it? What do you do? Because you work? Yeah, you do the minimum responsibility a man needs to do. I do take them out to the park. I do take them on walks. Alone? Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:23:37 This is true. He does take him alone when it's like, I need to speed clean the house. Oh, when she needs to do a chore. Yes. Great. Yeah. It's never to actually just do it for them. It's so that she can actually do the thing she needs to do.
Starting point is 00:23:49 And then she goes, okay, it's going to be a great time to all of a sudden clean the house because all of a sudden, She's like, oh, I have all this things that I could do now. Yeah, because I don't do during the week. Because I have a child clung to me. I have two children clinging to me. And they cling to me when I get home too so I could take the pressure off you. That's the whole point.
Starting point is 00:24:06 I thought you'd go and play video games immediately when you get home. Not all the time. Every once in a while. All the time. The only time our son clings to you, you're sitting on the couch and you decide sitting on your lap and watch TV. No, I grab him into my lap and I cuddle him because I haven't seen him because I'm working two jobs.
Starting point is 00:24:23 For a whole five minutes. A whole five minutes. You know, I'm going to go from seven in the morning to one in the morning. How frequently? Once every three months. No. Okay, buddy. What the fuck are you doing?

Starting point is 00:26:03 That's Dave Ramsey, the personal finance guy, right? Well, they're going to force you to use it his way. That's not very personal finances. Rocket money, they got a lot of commercials, but they're owned by Rocket Mortgage. Guess what they want to sell you in the end. Then there's the new guy on the block, Monarch. Hundreds of millions of dollars of private equity raising so far. But private equity doesn't have the best track record when it comes to private data. That's why I like Dollar Wise. Great, I'm glad you're sitting down watching Ken Burns and the kid will sit on your laps once. No, we watch Bluey. His favorite show. So that's why he's there, not for you. Huh? Yeah, probably.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Well, I got stuff I got to work on. Okay, so holiday weekend's coming up. Going camping. Okay, that was... Yeah, going camping with my high school friends. Okay, holiday weekend, instead of like taking the family somewhere, you're in Illinois, go to Lake Michigan. It's the late spring, early summer.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Beautiful times. Go to the word of sleeping bare dunes. Actually, yeah, that was on the list. Oh, that was on the list, but instead you're going camping with the boys where doing what? Wisconsin and going to shoot guns and stuff like that. What the fuck is wrong with you? You know, I'm not opposed to doing that in general as a concept.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Yes, you should have time where you pursue your hobbies and you're with your friends. It wouldn't be healthy if we're all just only with each other all day and the kids. Okay? I get that. But it's only you experiencing things. You don't take that. When's the last time y'all have gone somewhere? Here.
Starting point is 00:27:48 This was like our first vacation in like three years. Yeah, that's first true vacation. Which means it's your first vacation. Well, he's doing something every other week, including this holiday weekend. Yeah, and this is like my first vacation ever because whenever I went on vacation with my family growing up, we were confined to the hotel room and that was it. So why is it more important to make memories of the boys instead of your boy and girl? Because I do have responsibility with some of the stuff.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Shooting guns in Wisconsin? That one was a last minute and I said yes before I even realized what I was saying. I will be honest. Oh, shut the fuck. Yeah, they literally asked him yesterday. They literally asked me yesterday, and I said, sure, why not? You didn't consult the wife and mother of your two kids. No, I did not.
Starting point is 00:28:30 You're selfish, asshole. Yeah, selfish. Sure. Is it not? I just think it's a normal everyday thing. Here and there, sure, but if she, if this is her first vacation in years, especially since having the kids, it's holiday weekend, haven't done anything.
Starting point is 00:28:48 And she's doing this to come on a show where she's, you know, getting financial resources. It's, sure, holiday, but it's also a mission here. We're doing shit that's uncomfortable to fix the household. So how, in the pre-interview, how in the fucking world are you opening the conversation with the producers of she needs to get her shit together? Where everything I just learned is that you are a literal man baby who works a little extra so you can go have fun with the boys and never support her, the mother of your children. How the fuck are you saying that? I'm always supporting her because, you know, every time I get home, it's always helped.
Starting point is 00:29:22 I thought it was game. No, that's not the priority when I go home. Give me the percentage. Give me like, okay, it's Monday through Friday. How many of those days is he gets game in the moment he gets home? I could say about 90. There is some time where he'll ask. 90%.
Starting point is 00:29:36 That's bullshit. Yeah, because there are some times when I'll, okay, even if, let's, let's humor you. Shush. Let's humor you. Okay, you come home. Hey, babe, what needs to be done in the house? Hey, can you do dishes? I hate dishes.
Starting point is 00:29:55 So then I'll go clean the cat box instead. That's how that works. Yeah. It takes you three to six business days to do something after I asked you to do it. No. And it's the cat pan? The cats come and nag you to change it. Yeah, and I clean it.
Starting point is 00:30:09 It's clean. Yeah, usually two days later. Oh, no. Or I'll ask you, hey, do the dishes. Okay, I'll do the dishes before I go to bed. Okay, cool. Hey, I'm tired. I'm going to bed.
Starting point is 00:30:20 I'll do them tomorrow morning before work. I have done that, yes. I will give you that. Hey, I'm tired. I'll do them when I go to bed. Okay, cool. And then it cycles and cycles and cycles. Without being there, I don't know who's saying, who's right,
Starting point is 00:30:35 but I mean, instinctually, I have a feeling it's her. She at least has more examples to back it up. And again, you're going out this weekend. You don't deny any of that shit. So I just, I have a feeling she's right. I'm sick of, I applied because I'm sick of being told I am the problem. You applied?
Starting point is 00:30:54 Yeah, I'm the one that applied. Why did you open the conversations with the producers that she's the problem? Because any time there's an issue and then all of a sudden I'm left in the dark about it, she always throws in on me. Like it's entirely been my fault, my problem, that I'm the cause. And then all of a sudden, no, I'm talking. You sit there and say I'm the problem all the time, but then all of a sudden it's something that could have been talked about weeks ago because, oh, guess what?
Starting point is 00:31:20 Alice doesn't want to talk to me about any problems until they boil over and then we're sitting there yelling at each other over finances Because guess what you're never home so there's no way for me to talk to you text would be great Oh yeah like you check your phone you you text the boys before you text me bullshit Anytime you get it I get a text from you I always hit reply and you know what enough ends up happening? I'm so they're so depending on what I do at work that oh hey guess what I can't look at my phone for four and five hours because someone f*** up the labels and now all productions shut down. Yeah, texting at work and not texting at work, I can get. Not a lot of people's let you be on your phone during work. No, they don't. We had it with one we worked together at the theater and the gun store and everywhere else. No, do not text on your phone. Okay, cool, it's policy. But when you are going out to the bar, I do not hear from you. When you're going out camping, I do not hear from you. And yet all the time when you're at home, you're playing me to games and looking at your phone texting the boys. It's always the boys over
Starting point is 00:32:24 your wife and kids. Why? It ain't. Full shit. I should like to smock you. Schmach? Schmach? Yeah, she's her, she's fluent in German. I'm U.S. German. It is German. You dress in World War II? This is, we got some
Starting point is 00:32:38 a little concerned. All-white town. It ain't like that. Uh-huh. So you're saying she bottles up. She bottles up and then it lets a... I think we're worried. witnessing that here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:53 This is, for sure. This is a platform to get it off your chest. So I'm not blaming for that. I'm not even criticizing you for that. But, I mean, it's not, okay. So how do these financial conversations go then at the house? They don't because he's never owned to talk about it. And when I'm like, since I put all of my money in for the house, I don't have enough
Starting point is 00:33:11 money to pay my own bills. And he's always, you can ask me. Are you guys married? Yes, we are. We have our own bills and then our joint bills. Like my phone bill, he doesn't pay his phone. Why aren't you on a joint plan for phones? He's still under his pants.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Because my dad's up. Okay. So, but when they do happen, because he says they happen, it just bottles up. You're saying it doesn't happen. But when they do happen, how do they go? I need a little insight. So usually it's like, hey, I will ask her, like, we'll be sitting down, spending time with the kids. And then I'll ask her, hey, how's it going with finances?
Starting point is 00:33:40 Do you need any extra money this month for your bills, for our house bills? And she goes, no, it's okay. I got it. So she completely glazes over the whole thing. and then we got to deal with the fallout two, three weeks down the road. Hey, I need $300, $400 here because I totally forgot to tell you about any of these extra expenses we had. I don't ask you for any other money. You do.
Starting point is 00:34:01 I do not ask you for more money. You do. You liar. The only time I ask you for money is, hey, can you put some more extra, more than $200 into our house bill? And I gladly do it. And I will gladly give you $1,000. But the problem is, you don't let me know because guess what? you're buying all the groceries for the kids because you're home.
Starting point is 00:34:20 Again, I'm outworking. Called you a liar. I mean, that's a pretty heavy thing to just throw around. What do you mean she's lying? She lies about not asking me for money because anytime she needs money, she asked me for money. And then I give it to her literally within seconds. And then guess what? You b-b-de-moan about not having enough to buy a new firearm or an whatever pack or a new coat or...
Starting point is 00:34:41 Then I don't. And then I save up for it, and then I wait, and then I get it when I can. Like you spontaneously buy you buy shit in your sleep. I do buy shit. I did buy shit in my sleep once. Multiple times. Once. Multiple times.
Starting point is 00:34:54 No, you're... No, no. What the fuck I'm talking about? He'll buy stuff in his sleep. He'll have something up on his phone and he'll fall asleep and he'll wake up and then he'll buy it and he'll go back to sleep. I've also called the cops in my sleep. I think everyone's done that before by accident. Yeah, I've definitely sleep dial 911.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Nope, getting in everyone saying no. What the f f f f f f f***? You guys talking about? You guys are insane. I have no idea what you're talking about. I mean, you guys are going out to eat hundreds of dollars. Misalienies bullshit, hundreds of dollars. Other large purchases and unknown things, almost $1,000.
Starting point is 00:35:28 So you guys are spending a shit ton of money. But who are we saying it's fault is that? Like, it's all a shit ton of money on bullshit. Like 40% of our spending. The eating out. No, all bullshit combined. Who are we saying whose fault? It is.
Starting point is 00:35:41 So it's all you. Why? I do spend when I have money. Well, you don't make that much money, buddy. You're working a lot of hours and a lot of jobs to bring in not that much for the amount of time you're doing it. I mean, he spent all of our tax refund before we even got it. On what? Renapting.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Dude, what the fuck are you doing? Do your kids not matter to you? They do matter to me. Well, then why? Listen, you got a nice big check because of the child tax credit. Thanks to, moi. You're welcome. We're funding you.
Starting point is 00:36:12 You guys are net contributors. You're a part of the lower 50% that contributes one percent. Okay, that's fine. That is how it is. We're progressive. That's good. Not complaining. Kind of a little. But either way. And then you take it and it's meant for you to support your kids and you spend it on reenacting. What the fuck are we doing? Especially since medical bills come out of reenacting. Medical bills do come out of reenacting a lot because it is... Okay, you're not a war hero. No, not at all. Stop. What is this reenacting? What did you spend the fucking money on? Rental cars and rental cars. To go out to events because you refuse to drive. our brand new car.
Starting point is 00:36:47 What the fuck what I drive our car when all of a sudden we're putting more money into mileage, oil chain, stuff like that. And if anything breaks down, then I got to hear, oh, hey, your brand new car that I was driving now all of a sudden doesn't work because the transmission blew, the engine blew. Yeah. So then we could dump more money into that. $800, $900 on a rental car to drive out. That's just a rental car, not the equipment and shit?
Starting point is 00:37:11 No, that's- Uniforms. I already own all that, so, but it could be- So what did you spend the refund on? So more uniforms and stuff. What? You just said no, you didn't because you already have that. You fucking asshole. Hey, I built the refunds just came.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Not even refunds, subsidies. Yeah, who buy more uniforms? I buy more uniforms stuff that I've been looking at and then all the insane. Yeah, all the equipment, stuff like that, the helmet. How much did you spend with this refund? Mm. 3,500? Oh, you, f-hmm.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Yeah, we got 5,000. Yeah, we got, we did get. $45,000. Literally, we are giving it to you as a society for the sake of your children. Take that. Put in a, what is it, a 403B? Am I blinking on the actual right name? Put it on that.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Put it in the Trump accounts. Put it in those. Let it grow. What are you doing? That's for the sake of your kids. We actually opened up Trump accounts for our kids. There you go. It's easy.
Starting point is 00:38:09 It's free. And our son, he's over the age limit to get like a grand put in already. Yeah, and so my aunt is giving us a thousand for him. You didn't even tell me that. That's brand new. Why didn't you say that? Why are you freaking out about that? No, because it's kind of embarrassing
Starting point is 00:38:26 when her family does that stuff. You should be embarrassed. You spend $3,500 on outfits instead of in your kid's Trump account. Which, by the way, I would... Has it for three people? Am I forgetting it? I always mix it up with two.
Starting point is 00:38:41 I always mix that one up and, like, public safety. O, A, V, what a mess. Yeah, you know what? Talk about a mess. And then all of a sudden, you sit there and all the stuff I actually do. Shut the fuck up. Why not put it in on 529 for the sake of your kids? That's what we're giving you money for.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Or sure, in the Trump accounts, whatever. 529's a little better because it's more tax beneficial, but it has to be spent for school. But either way, whatever. Yeah, it would be nice to be able to go and apply for those things. But I can't when I have. But either way. No, I'm just saying put the money towards it instead of outfits like that. Like, you look like a freak.
Starting point is 00:39:21 I think I look good. No. Totally, I'm totally an opinionated. Nope. Your summer travels deserve an upgrade. OnStar. Better never stops. I spend it on it because I like the hobby and I enjoy the kids. You're obsessed with the hobby. No. I mean, every single conversation, reenacting, renecked, renecked, renecating. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Have a hobby. That's okay, but don't prioritize it over your kid. I have a hobby too. Know what my hobby is right now? Rust. And I have spent a lot of money on it. But guess what? Not over my kids.
Starting point is 00:40:19 I don't have any so I can do it. But you? What is this? First of all, I haven't spent 3,500 on a fucking hobby. Not that I can think of. What are you doing? Maybe fish tanks, but... So, like, anytime you get a uniform together, it could be...
Starting point is 00:40:34 I get it, but you're choosing over your kid. I don't need the breakdown. I understand it costs money to do a hobby. I'm not complaining about that part. I'm complaining that you're putting it over your kids and you haven't been able to even apologize for that, defend it, have an opinion on it. You immediately just say, well, uniforms are this.
Starting point is 00:40:47 You, you're putting it all over your kid, you pathetic worm? He has 32 pairs of shoes. Yeah. Okay, what are you doing? I actually downsize that, so... Yeah, bullshit. No. Yeah, I was opening up bins in the shed to get ready for a garage sales.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Shoes, shoes, shoes. You're worse than a bitch. What's a bimbo bitch? Someone that, like, they have, like, uh, 6,000 pairs of heels. I feel like you German freaks are just trying to create your own version of post-holocaust. No. All the pairs of shoes stacking up on each other. We absolutely despise those type of people.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Those are the most disgusting people. Yeah, they try to buy our side. No one speaks like that unless they're really trying to defend against something. Trying to def- What accusations do you have? I have accusations against other reenactors that are like absolutely terrible people. Against them? Yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Against you. There's no reason someone would come out that defensive against something. I don't need to defend that I am anti-Holocust. because that's just a given. I've never heard someone so immediately have to go so hardcore anti-holocaust. Well, because let's be honest, you put on a uniform,
Starting point is 00:41:56 you equip yourself with the stereotypes that are associated with it and then that other thing is... Oh, brother, nobody takes you people seriously. You people take you people seriously. That's probable, but I'm going to disagree because there's definitely people in this hobby
Starting point is 00:42:12 I don't take serious. Not at all. No, but no one cares. from the outside. So you don't have to defend your German collection. You almost got the H. comb over. Old man. No, it's just a regular haircut.
Starting point is 00:42:32 It's the Hitler youth haircut. Hitler youth haircut. That's what your mom calls it. Yeah, that's what my mom always calls any haircut, I guess. You're living in his perfect McHenry community. No, I like actually like my... Living the dream. I like all my neighbors.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Exactly. That's what I'm saying. I think he would too. No, he wouldn't because a lot of our neighbors would have been on that list. I would have been on that list. We would have been on that list that he would have exterminated. Why? Polish. What part? He kept many polls alive. Not all of them. Not all. Yeah. What's the part that wasn't? The part that wasn't was. I see all's nose. I think you'd be on the list.
Starting point is 00:43:13 That's fair. But they were. ethnically cleansing Eastern Europe as well not just of Jews. Oh, okay. And then I'm Jewish. Well, I'm not Jewish, but my family's Jewish.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Yeah. Okay. Okay. He hasn't even once said why. He won't put it to his kids over his Hitler youth outfits. Does he doesn't want to grow up? That's kind of pathetic as a husband.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Why won't you grow up? Well, because the one thing I was told in my life is that might... Do you respect him? As a man, as a husband? In a way. He does have his perks.
Starting point is 00:43:53 What's the perks? He works. He works. He works. He works. He's working for his hobbies, not for you guys. The tax refund went to his hobbies,
Starting point is 00:44:00 not you guys. But sorry, go ahead. For as paranoid as he is, it does come in handy sometimes. We did have someone attempt to break into our house. And he took the necessary procedures to... So this is why he's so afraid of everything.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Yeah. Okay. Well, at least there's a freezing because you were acting like a freak. What was the necessary procedures? So I-acted like it's a military operation. Last, the last thing you want to do is ever, like, go out and like try to use force and stuff like that. So we turned on lights around the house to let them know we were there. And then we called police.
Starting point is 00:44:36 We called the police and stuff like that. Evacuated into, um, got all the family together into one room. So we knew if something did happen. Okay, okay, okay. Okay. I was expecting something a little more manly, but that's okay. I guess if that's what you got to get a respect then. That's great. He is a very, if you're in trouble when it's outside of the house, he will come and help you.
Starting point is 00:45:03 We've opened our couch to... No, go ahead. We've opened our couch to a whole bunch of his friends that needed a place to stay, going off to reenactments. His buddies are just as bad. Uh-huh. Continue. And then he does contribute a lot to... Just, uh...
Starting point is 00:45:30 So continue, please. I'm sorry, I can't. I just wanted to, I wanted to finish the look. Oh, shahze. It's shooting, and then, no. I can't finish. Oh. But, um...
Starting point is 00:45:46 I'm gonna finish the look. You look good. Does it, does it look good? For anyone in his life that sees this, I did that. He did not do that. Thankfully, he can't grow facial hair. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:56 But he does try to help. We do have a homeless population. And so he will... And McHenry for people? Yes. Okay, whatever. It doesn't matter. I just need you to step up for the sake of your kids. I'm glad you protected it in the home invasion.
Starting point is 00:46:14 You need to step up for the sake of the kids. Yeah, I will be doing that now. Get that shit off your lip. I think... I think... You got it. Got it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:29 I did dry erase, not Sharpie. Thank you. Yes. I'm still thoughtful even in my bits of making someone look like an assay online. Okay, so... In the conversation that happens again, because we're having the conversation now.
Starting point is 00:46:45 We're about to get into the finances, so I just want to understand one more time. So you guys go into a financial conversation. Who brings up the topic? Usually I do. Okay, so what do you bring up? What's like a recent example of a financial conversation? Recently, our son had a fall, busted his nose open.
Starting point is 00:47:02 He freaked out, was like, we're taking him to the hospital. Took him to the hospital. We got a hospital bill for that. And I'm like, great, we have a hospital bill. We need to pay this. He goes, okay, cool. How much is it? It's $128 or whatever.
Starting point is 00:47:15 He goes, okay, cool. And I'm like, you're very nonchalant about having to pay more bills that we could have avoided. How could you avoid it? I think that was pretty important to take the kid to the hospital. Because it wasn't like a broken nose. It was just he fell. How do you know, though?
Starting point is 00:47:31 I mean, depending on how scary it is, I may have taken the kid too. When you break your nose, you get pretty fast bruising around certain areas of your nose and... Were you saying don't go to the hospital? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:43 Yeah, she was saying don't go to the hospital. I'm like, no, he needs a go because he fell from like my knee height. I'm a tall person and he's... Your son's a tall person. I mean, I would have been anxious and take the kid for sense of clearance. The kid acted fine. Well, sure, but the, how old was he?
Starting point is 00:48:01 He was about, yeah, just, I mean, I would have. I mean, why not get the clear? That's what I said. Why not get the clear? Why not get the clear? I don't understand $120 isn't fun, but you guys could actually fit that in your budget. Could. For the sake of the kid being alive.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Why take him to the hospital and pay more money, then he could have just stopped inside the doctor's office. If you knew any, if you remember anything that what we talked about, instead of just saying what you are. I took him to the care clinic because we're like, okay, it's not serious, but he should definitely get checked out. They denied me because they denied our insurance. So then I went to the hospital to make sure that our son was okay.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Why didn't you walk literally 20 feet to his doctor's office? Because he needed to be seen immediately not in three, four hours in a walk-in clinic. I really doubt that his nosebleed was bad enough that he was going to drown in the blood. Well, I took him to make sure that he was okay and if you have agreements with that, that's on you. I'm glad that our son is fine, but it was a necessary hospital visit. Let's be honest. The cost of living right now is absolutely insane. But if you are out here leaning on credit cards just to buy your groceries and fill up your gas tank, you are literally paying a 20% survival tax and high interest debt just to exist. Look, if you're a homeowner, my friends at

I'm kind of on your side for, yeah, he could have gone to the primary care. I don't think it was like emergency room level shit. But either way.
Starting point is 00:51:19 primary care were fully covered. Yeah. But $1,000 shouldn't make a break you guys. Really shouldn't. Again, I mean, going out to eat
Starting point is 00:51:26 spent almost $400, $120 being taken off for going out to eat budget for that month for the sake of our kid is not much of a sacrifice. I will say that the going not to eat
Starting point is 00:51:35 was during the month that was in the hospital. So I couldn't really cook. Okay, he doesn't explain the other thousand plus on bullshit. So even still, no. Go fuck yourself.
Starting point is 00:51:47 It doesn't make sense. If you guys have complained about not to make making enough money. Why are you working the second job? Because you don't make enough money or to fund your hobbies or both? I'll be honest, both. I'm there to fund my hobby and also do it. How much is in your kid's savings account? Let's see. I got to think about that. Our son has almost two grand. From you guys, not family. Yeah, two grand. And then our daughter has, because, let's see, we started when she was born,
Starting point is 00:52:17 she has about $800. Okay, so you spent more in one month on your reacting, reenactment gear than they have in their entire savings. Do you not see how pathetically selfish that is? Do you not see that? That's pathetic. You're a father.
Starting point is 00:52:34 And then plus whenever we do get some sort of barrier amount, you have to do something like, dislocate your shoulder, get shot, you have to rip the tent. Your ankle. That's something I can't control when I get injured. Reenactment. Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:52:49 It's all from that. Yes, that is. The tendon was when I was working for the USPS and we went down to the leg front. I got shot on the job. And then... A USPS? No. We worked at a gun shop together.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Yeah, I guess that's a place you would get shot. Who shot you? Technically myself. Oh, you... So that's... What the fuck is wrong with you? Why'd you shoot yourself? So we had a collection of guns that was brought in.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Really? are living that Hitler dream, aren't you? Yeah. I wish it was my head instead of my knee sometimes, too. But let's see. When I got that brought in... She didn't like that. No. Choose those words
Starting point is 00:53:27 very carefully next time, or I'm making you walk home. What the f... You're kind of sometimes like a scary witch. That's why I said you needed a crystal ball earlier. I think he was making a joke. It wasn't a good joke or anything. But it was just like, why do you have salt?
Starting point is 00:53:48 I have a heart condition, and if my heart tries to stop, this kind of jolts it back into place, I guess. What the fuck. Yeah. Does you have like medicine instead of salt? No, my doctor doesn't care. Yeah. Every time. Well, you need a new doctor.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Yeah. They were supposed to do a bunch more tests, and then I got pregnant and they refused to do tests again. Well, it's been six months since then, so go back. Yeah, that's what I'm working on after. Working on. you're carrying around salt. Yeah, literally. Go to the hospital, you freak.
Starting point is 00:54:19 I tried to make an appointment. This is why you're so angry at nothing? Yeah. Yeah. I'm in the most pent-up rage because he's never home and never able to help me. Well, I do get that point and I'm on your side for that. But, I mean, you just kind of freaked out like crazy. Yeah, because I have a whole bunch of medical stuff going on.
Starting point is 00:54:36 And I'll be going to the doctor for my heart and they go, okay, tell me about your spine. That's an interesting story. And it's like, I'm here from my heart. Go to a different one, I don't know. Like, what are we doing? Okay, so you shot yourself. Yes. Freak, where?
Starting point is 00:54:50 It was through my leg. It was through my leg, yes. How? So it was a little shitty 22 pistol, and it was the last gun in the collection, and they were bringing in. They had the guns in the store for like 48 hours, and then they were pulling live ammunition, and then I grabbed this one, racked a slide back, looked down in the magazine, looking in the chamber, it was clear. and then because there was no follower if the little piece of metal
Starting point is 00:55:15 that comes up in the magazine to feed the rounds it wasn't present so I'm like oh it's broken 22 and then when I racked a slide back and let it go the follower popped up
Starting point is 00:55:25 put around in the chamber and then the whole firing pin assembly came out of the gun so I just pressed it back into place and I went off why was it pointed at your leg I just when I put
Starting point is 00:55:34 the safety not on so it didn't have one it's a 20 it's a point at your leg because when I put the pressure down to push the firing pin assembly back in a place my finger not on the trigger it tilted down and it aimed for my leg okay your fault i don't really having sympathy but you always get an injured doing reenacting yes the my most major injury was from reenacting when i was 19 this is not
Starting point is 00:55:58 expensive for you guys his injuries from this hobby dude this hobby owns everything it racks up it does rack up sometimes yes like this it's not fair but we haven't had it's not Fair to your... Again, the savings is nothing. Dude, your... Someone's IRA has like $900 in it, and I don't see another one. So it's like, what are we doing?
Starting point is 00:56:20 You guys are dramatically behind investing. Your kids are going to have to pause their lives in their early adulthood to take care of their parents that chose hobbies over actual retirement. That's not fair. This is pathetic. They didn't choose to come into the world. It is frustrating.
Starting point is 00:56:34 It is. It's very frustrating. Yeah, I would be an obnoxious bitch too. Yeah. No, you're horrible to be with. And you're scary to be with. I don't want to be on any part of this relationship. Match made in heaven or hell, I guess, whatever you want to describe it.
Starting point is 00:56:52 I don't know, but maybe I wouldn't breed. Okay. Seek permission for the things he buys at least. Once in a while. And you give it? Once in a while. Okay. What's once in a while? Like 10% of the purchase, 15, 20?
Starting point is 00:57:09 10%. the other 90, why are you just doing them without consulting the wife, the mother of children? I'm super impulsive with a lot of this stuff. That's good as a father and partner. Yeah. So, K and four is really. Yeah, I'm a pay and four whore. When it comes to that type of stuff, it'll go on sale and I'll instantly open it.
Starting point is 00:57:28 But you already know what's a problem. So why continue to do it when they have no savings? You have no savings. You're being a pathetic. Because I had money in my bank account. I could easily more afford it with the paying for. Like, this makes no sense. literally spending was $4,310.12
Starting point is 00:57:44 when 3,261 came in. You spent almost 1,000 more. No, you spent over 1,000 more. 1,100 more. And you guys brought in. That's debt. That's fucking debt. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:57:55 You don't have money in your account. What are you talking about? This is pathetic. Yeah. I bet you have collectibles, don't you? No, actually. I use all this stuff in reenacting. Your helmets on the top of the TV?
Starting point is 00:58:10 Name one that doesn't have a unernerable. form and equipment associated. You have guns? You're a gun guy. Yes, I do have guns. Okay, what's your guns worth? 40,000 at least. Our debt is less than 40,000. Sell them.
Starting point is 00:58:22 You're out of debt. No. But how do you care about your own shit in your family? You are such a bad person. Yeah. You're a bad person. Listen, yes, you love your guns. I love some things I have too.
Starting point is 00:58:35 I would never take them over my kids if I had them. Never. I wouldn't take them over my dogs. I wouldn't take them over my girls. I wouldn't take them over anything. The fact of the matter is I'm not selling them because I will never get them back. It doesn't matter. You'll never get your kids back either.
Starting point is 00:58:50 And their life is in danger because you don't have a fully funded emergency fund. They're not being taken care of and you don't have retirement and you're being pathetic. They matter more than your guns. Your guns are cool. They matter more. The kids matter more than my guns, but it'll be hard to sell. It'll be hard. My kids matter more than my guns, but.
Starting point is 00:59:13 No, you'll be. If they're worth 40, you can sell them. Yes, and you're in the community. And if I'm not mistaken, has he sold guns before? Has he sold guns before? Maybe two. Has he bought guns back? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:26 There you go. You've bought guns back that you've sold before. Look at her. Look, even the witch is crying. Even the witch is crying because you're literally choosing guns over her and the fucking... Mark wants to give you dry paper towels. Thank you, Mark. I think we should do tissues, though, instead.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Thoughtful, thoughtful man. Oh, dry. paper towel it is. Never mind. Thank you, Mark. There we go. We love Mark. W. Mark in the comments. Different flavors. Yeah, use those. Those will hurt you. You're white and pasty, so we don't need that. The thing is, buddy, how the fuck? She's crying rightfully so. The fact that you were choosing guns over her and the kids, selfish. You're selfish in every instance of your life. From the things you do, this is her first trip anywhere. Like, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Starting point is 01:00:16 You're a bad father. You're a bad partner. At the end of the day, I just wish she was thankful and stop fitching about everything. That's crazy. Kidding me. Out of all the things that I do actually do, you know, you always nitpick the stuff that's I don't do. Yeah, because it needs to be done. No.
Starting point is 01:00:41 I'll do it. I don't think I've had more than five hours of sleep in the past two years, because I'm the one that gets up with the kids in the middle of the night. Because you, that was one of the craziest statements I've ever heard anyone say on the show. What the f-I-could. I called out your shit and you say she's just that... What the fuck is wrong with you? You work?
Starting point is 01:00:59 You come home. You say hi. And sometimes you don't even do that. You just go to bed. Because you're pissed off. Yeah. Could you imagine like all the stress that I have? At your video games.
Starting point is 01:01:10 You'll come home. You'll play video games. Oh my gosh. I'm horrible at this game. I keep dying. I'm going to bed. And then I've got to turn off your Xbox. I've got to get the control.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Do you turn off your own Xbox? No. How are you so bad at Gave? Yeah. For some of the games that much and looks like you, how are you so bad? Definitely not my number one hobby, that's for sure. I'm not that good. Making her turn off the Xbox.
Starting point is 01:01:35 Dude, you suck. You suck. I do you suck in video games. No, you suck. How about? Beer me. Oh, you made that joke and then I took it too far. So at least you had met you took it too far.
Starting point is 01:01:48 Yeah, at least you admit you took it too far, yes. I made, I did take that joke a little too far at times where I'll just go, hear me. At times, wouldn't you know after the first time it's too far? No, I like, I have to razz her sometimes because she always gets razz me. Yeah, sometimes it's funny. Sometimes it's appropriate. Other times I am holding a screaming child while cooking dinner and the cat is puking on the floor. That wouldn't be the best time.
Starting point is 01:02:13 No, that would not be the best time. Why do you do it then? I did it maybe once. Okay. You know what? I will say I did it once to you, and then I, and I, when was the last time I did anything like that back? Let's see. What's say the 16th?
Starting point is 01:02:26 Yes. So, about three and a half weeks ago, I just brought our oldest home from the doctors. You came home, you came home. You came home. So you didn't come with us to the doctors at that one time. Right, because I was working. Yeah. And so you sat down and playing video games.
Starting point is 01:02:42 We walked in, hey, since you're at the fridge, beer me. Yeah, I did. I did do that one. That is convenient, but I also had a sleeping child in my arms and another crying one in the back hallway. And I went to help. How long have you guys been together? Since 2020. 2020.
Starting point is 01:03:00 Oh, the COVID relationship. Yeah. Yikes. Okay. Yeah, we're seeing the outcomes of that now. Fuck, man. Cool. So you'll sell your guns and get eyes at today?
Starting point is 01:03:12 I'll find one to sell and go from there. The most expensive and collectible one. You can get out of it today. We wouldn't even even have the rest of this conversation, except we do because your behavior will get you back here again if you don't fix it, but even still. What the fuck? Okay, what do you guys think your financial score is 0, 10,
Starting point is 01:03:28 being the worst, 10 being the best, as a household? When I took the quiz on your website thingy, it said 3.8 or something like that. Mine came back is at 3-2. It feels like a 2. Well, we'll see. We'll see. Listen, if you watch your hammer financial score,
Starting point is 01:03:44 it is free. Go to Calebhammer.com. Most people take the annual version after the trial because it saves almost 50% and you get my 30-day budget meal plans.
Starting point is 01:04:07 I'd buy me mailed directly to you plus the digital version of the cookbook. You guys get that and the digital version of the cookbook. Dalawaz.com, Calebhammer.com. I gotta take a piss. Piss time. So why the fuck do I see owning mom? $7,000. Who's mom?
Starting point is 01:04:28 My mom. Why? We had to get a new roof. Okay. So like I said, why the fucking you're like, I don't want to throw money into renting? Why rush into the homeownership when you guys are not financially ready? You guys are fucking young.
Starting point is 01:04:42 You didn't have to in a town that you might not even want to say in because there's obviously no opportunities. And not only that, but look at the consequences. You get a house without an emergency fund. Bullshit, did you have a fully funded emergency fund? Yeah. You should have been able to afford the roof. What the fuck happens? We fell for...
Starting point is 01:04:59 You fell for the flipping. No, because you fell for it too. You were right there with me the whole process. I wanted to go for the middle ground. The middle ground was like an $8,000 roof. You went with the 12. Well, because you know what? The warranty with the roof passes on to the next owner.
Starting point is 01:05:14 Do you need a new roof? Yes. if we did not get a new roof insurance. See, this is home ownership. Why did you have to own a home? It's an obsession, obsession with people. You weren't in a place. It was an emergency moveout.
Starting point is 01:05:26 You didn't need to buy. Well, probably because renting in our area is about, what, 1,200 a month. Our mortgage is 600. And then you have a $12,000 roof or whatever the f... From a... Felco, Delco. This is the landlord takes care. of all the other shit.
Starting point is 01:05:46 No offense. I mean, I'm taking a look. It literally, literally looks like a shed with the color and everything. It is. It's 700 square feet. You bought a 700 square feet house
Starting point is 01:05:55 you want to? You're going to sell that again? Good luck. Dude, what the... You'd be surprised because our community is turning into old folks community. It is.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Oh, great. They're all moving in. That's good. They're all moving in. It's a place that I want to invest in. Yeah. Places where people die. So $7,000.
Starting point is 01:06:13 I got a minimum monthly payment with mother? So the agreement was that when we sold the house, it would come off that. Oh, for fuck sake. And when are we selling the house? We're working on getting it ready for the market. Yeah, hopefully in the next year. And I see the house that you're interested in. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:27 And we do have a financial plan for it because it has an apartment built above the garage. So we could offset whatever mortgage is left over after we sell this house. Rented out. Surprisingly like the same price. Why? Is it in a shitty area? It must be. It's an Indiana.
Starting point is 01:06:42 It's in Indiana. Why would you? Okay. In the middle of nowhere. Why again? Why do we go to a place with no opportunity? We like the quiet countryside. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:06:50 You need an opportunity for the kids. You need income. You need schools. You need good things. You can get quiet in anywhere. My brother is disabled and lives in a home, and that is close by the home. Yeah. I'm sure you could be in a place that's relatively close.
Starting point is 01:07:05 That's, okay. Dude, it's 555 people living that town. What are you going to do for work? You need to have a job guy. What are we doing? Come on What's our income plan there The income plan was
Starting point is 01:07:19 Because right now I'm in college You are? Yes Doing what? To give my associates To be a history teacher Illinois is like really desperate for teachers So like
Starting point is 01:07:32 Good thing you're moving away from Illinois Oh it's right over the border So I could commute Where's the nearest town How close is the nearest school Decent school Because you're gonna get small town pay 35, 40 minutes.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Yeah. It's not far. It's the commute that I'm doing right now to work at the meat plan. Good death. And that's if that school hires you. You're kind of banking it all on one. You're not in an area that has a lot of schools. Really banking on literally one building hiring you. That's riskiest.
Starting point is 01:08:01 I don't like that. You're not going to make much, especially for a long time, especially in that area in that kind of school district, lower property taxes. And what are you going to do? Well, my part-time, I work from home. And the So my boss is my mom. Oh my goodness, car. She works for the same company.
Starting point is 01:08:20 Okay, I'll get you a course career certification. Many people in the audience have converted those into six-figure paying jobs, either at their current job or getting a new job. You should check that out. Big discount for my audience, but I'll get you it for free. Yeah, because my mom's planning on retiring soon and I'm supposed to take over her job. This is just, it makes no sense to me, guys.
Starting point is 01:08:37 This is just such a mess. And borrowing from mother, like mom, we need your new roof, please give it to us? Why didn't you finance it with the roofers? Why didn't we get a personal loan? Why didn't we do anything like that? Like, we literally have, well, I wouldn't want you guys to because you guys are f*** up, but we have, like, personal loans and, like, loans for this kind of shit.
Starting point is 01:08:53 We have all the financial services that anyone can need at Calebhammer.com. We have that shit. Why did you guys go to Mother? It complicates relationships so hard. She actually approached us with the idea, and then we were already on a payment plan for the roof. How'd she find out? Okay. So she saw the debt and she was like, let me?
Starting point is 01:09:11 Yeah, because. Yeah. Oh my goodness. You have another one to your mom. Yeah. Another $4,500 for what? We bought her car. We bought her car from her.
Starting point is 01:09:19 What? You owe to us. You didn't even buy the car from her. You got fucking licked it. You lent it out. You got leveraged up. Yes. I don't even have...
Starting point is 01:09:26 Fuck. So $500 a month? Correct. Yes. Oh, my goodness. Are you actually making the $500 a month payment? Yes. Every month on time.
Starting point is 01:09:37 So what happened here? What's the car? It is a... Is it a Kia Seltos? Kia Seltos, yes. Is it a brand new car that you're talking about? Yeah. So it's not a brand new car.
Starting point is 01:09:49 Well, it's just new to you. It's new to us, but it's like 2024. Okay, well, that's pretty good. You got it on the cheap? Yeah. Why do you owe $4,500 on it when it's worth $18,000? Because we bought it for $11 and we used... You paid it down that much?
Starting point is 01:10:03 We have. 0%. That's why? Yeah, because we bought it directly from her. So 0% though? Yeah. Yes. Okay, well, you got a good deal on that, I'll be honest.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Yeah. because I originally had a two-door tiny-ass car and could not fit the kid's car seats in it. So if you're getting the blessings of like two halfway decent loans from the parent, one you don't even have to pay on, one that's zero percent that you've already had a great equity position in you have a great equity position in the car.
Starting point is 01:10:28 How the, are, why are you guys fighting so much about finances? What is wrong? I'll be honest with you, too, if I'm going to be making sacrifices, she needs to tell her car too. I'm not selling my car. Yeah, I think you should. No, I use that daily.
Starting point is 01:10:41 Yeah, and we can get something cheaper. Oh yeah, are we going to do the same thing where I would drive you to work in your car, then use your car for the day and then alter my day and nap time and stuff like that, pile the kids in the car and come pick you up after work? This wasn't my question. No, I'm answering him.
Starting point is 01:11:01 What are you guys fighting on? If it's not even, like, I don't even understand. These two debts aren't even horrible. You're lucky that you got them from mother. What are we fighting on? financially. We're barely scraping by. We barely have enough in our, in our, um,
Starting point is 01:11:16 how? Because he keeps spending it all before we even get it. And you keep spending it too, so it like, on groceries. Yeah, on groceries, and then you'll come home and you'll buy, like, have Starbucks coffee in your hand or cookies in your hand, shit like that. One. One. Once, like, once every
Starting point is 01:11:33 two, three days, okay, yeah, that's once. It keeps me from passing out because of the sugar. You have sugar at home. Yeah, but, So. You don't need Starbucks sugar specifically to not pass out. No, but I'm fucking sugary when I'm out in about. So why not go back to making?
Starting point is 01:11:48 What the fuck you're talking about? Why don't we make those Pillsbury cookies like that I like a lot? Then that way, you know, you can't really take a sugar cube. Pack a back of sugar cube. Oh, a sugar cube. You don't need a $8 Starbucks to not pass out. Have a sugar cube like a horse. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:06 I'm a horse now. Yeah. Thanks. I'm a horse. Go from a witch door. horse. No, I didn't even say you look like a horse. I'm just saying I have a sugar cube. You act like a witch, but you can eat a sugar cube like a horse. Yeah, I guess so. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:12:22 Well, yeah, if you can't afford the starbees, do it. If you or your child spent years growing up on social media and experienced serious mental health struggles, you should hear this. Recently, a jury ordered meta and YouTube to pay millions for their role in designing and promoting addictive platforms. They knew their apps. could contribute to anxiety, depression, and body image issues, but did not share those risks while prioritizing profits. The recent historic verdict underscores the consequences of those decisions. Now Morgan & Morgan is stepping up to hold these platforms accountable for the harm they caused.
Starting point is 01:12:57 Click the link in my bio to take a short quiz. You may be entitled to a potential recovery of over $1,000. Ladies and gentlemen, I got something new to help you that we have personally built right here on calebhammer.com we have three new caliphhammer financial resources they are the ones i would personally use which is why we made them for you to use as you've already heard me talk about personal loans are okay when you're good at debt i personally use them when i can leverage them for a situation so we have good personal loans on calebhammer.com we also have auto insurance now you can check for free and see if you can save a shit ton of money on auto insurance and then to close it off
Starting point is 01:13:36 for now because we're building more we have a debt relief program. You've seen how hard it is for people to get out of debt on the show. This makes it so much easier, but only if you're actually ready to change. Remember, none of this actually matters if you continue the same bad behavior. So it's not for you if you still suck.
Starting point is 01:13:53 But if you've proved you can budget, check out these three programs from personal loans to debt relief to car insurance to see if you can save a shit ton of money across the board. Go to Calebhammer.com or the Caleb Hammer Financial Resources part of the pin comment or description below Yeah, well, keep me from passing out, I guess enough if I have a hurt thing, a bobber, but still. What?
Starting point is 01:14:14 At least like it to taste good. Well, that would be good, too, but can you afford it? No. So make something at home that you take out and about with you. We don't have enough room to have, like, a coffee maker or anything. We barely have enough coffee. A coffee maker? We don't need a coffee maker.
Starting point is 01:14:27 Yeah, you're the one that was looking on Amazon. What was it last night for curate? Yes, get a coffee maker. Guys, get a coffee maker. You can get a coffee maker like this big, single pot. Like, single coffee. We don't even have enough countertop for a microwave. Yeah, we have to put it above the...
Starting point is 01:14:42 This coffee maker's like the size of like a third of a microwave. What are you guys talking about? Guys, this is like seriously like this big. It's a single cup thing. It's tiny. Oh, like the hotel. Yeah, like the hotel. Yes!
Starting point is 01:14:58 That I was like looking at last night, like you said. No, you were looking at the fancy curates where you had the little cups and you put them on the top. Guys, you are not going and getting Starbucks. If you are barely scraping by Starbucks, is not an option. Make that make sense to me. Okay, I will cut down on the Starbucks and maybe I'll get a candy bar
Starting point is 01:15:13 and said since it's a once in a wild thing where I'm about to pass out with the kids. Listen, this is sugar-free, so this doesn't necessarily work. But the same excuse stands, though. You're not going out in buying coffee. You're making it home. You're not going out and buying energy drinks.
Starting point is 01:15:30 You're making it home. That's Gamer Subs. It's more delicious. I promise. We blind taste it. And it really is. Get your free samples. Link in the description below.
Starting point is 01:15:38 Caleb to figure out what flavor you like, then get your gamer subs at 40 cents a serving after our discount code as well, link in the description below. Make your energy drinks at home. That does not have sugar. So you do need to do something sugar, but put some sugar cubes in there or something, I don't know. But make your coffee at home guys. It's like this. And then gamer subs says literally this. So it's like, shut the fuck up. There's no excuses. You're not going out and getting bullshit if we're barely scraping by. You can go out and get bullshit, but not if you're barely scraping by. But also, I, I'm sorry. There is a fucking like, level here.
Starting point is 01:16:13 Also, for what it's worth. Like, yes, you should not be getting Starbucks a few times a week, okay? Probably in your situation. But that's not comparable. You drop in $3,500 on this kind of shit. Like, that's not even compare. Having a $40,000 gun collection, this is not a comparable thing here. Like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 01:16:31 You're obviously far beyond a few Starbys a week. You freak? He's even trying to get me something. And I'm like, no, I don't want it. And he's like, oh, I'm going to get it for you anyway at some point. And I'm like, I don't want it. And I try my best. And it's something that he's like, oh, I'm going to do this for it.
Starting point is 01:16:49 I'm going to do that for it. It's like, it's more for yourself. No, it's not for me. Because you will not buy anything for yourself. So if the burden falls on me. Oh, and yet you just said that I don't buy anything for myself, but I am the problem. Yeah, you are because you don't even get stuff that's necessary for life for yourself that I have to go out and buy and guess. She says she gets groceries, dude.
Starting point is 01:17:08 She gets groceries. from our joint account, but her personal account, she won't spend anything on herself. I don't have enough. I save like $100 from my paychecks. My phone bill is $101. And how come you don't ask me for help with any of that when I literally have said, hey, if you have any upcoming bills, I have three, four hundred dollars that we can get ahead on stuff with. And you know what ends up not happening? We don't get ahead. Because you keep spending it on reenacting stuff. But how is that my fault when I live? literally say, hey, if you need money, why isn't it there? Oh my God. Because you don't have it, because you spend it all on re-enacting stuff.
Starting point is 01:17:48 I've seen people fight who are in dire situations, but you guys shouldn't even be in a dire situation. There must be something coming in this document that explains why the fuck you guys are at each other's throats. But so far, it's not. This medical bill is big. It's a $15,687. $0.75. Okay.
Starting point is 01:18:06 But it's not accruing interest or anything. Why aren't you on a payment plan? Because that was when I got shot at the gun shop. Your fault, don't care. Well, it was on the clock regardless, and that it was supposed to be taken care of, but it wasn't. No, it wasn't. I don't care then.
Starting point is 01:18:23 Get on a payment plan, you freak. Why fuck your credit if you want to get a new house? This might go to collections and fuck your credit. Yes, it could. You literally are thinking about getting a new house right now, and also don't get a new house. Guys, rent. Please rent.
Starting point is 01:18:36 If you guys are barely scraping by, how are we talking about getting a mortgage? sell the house, take the windfall if you have it, pay off the debts, if you change your behavior, and start your life, get a house when you can when you have a fully funded emergency phone. Why are we talking about getting in a house again already?
Starting point is 01:18:51 So quick. You're not learning your lesson. You couldn't afford living in the current house you live in now. Because we've outgrown the house that we live in now. Why didn't you get work to come? Because the owner fought it and threatened me with legal action
Starting point is 01:19:05 if it went through. Well, he must have been in the right then. No, he was not. Then fight it. I don't. Because if you win, you'll have to pay for your legal fees. Yeah, I was about to say, I definitely could. If you are 100% right, then absolutely.
Starting point is 01:19:19 Go, go for it. We can't find a lawyer that will take the case. Yes. Well, then you must not be in the right. But I don't know how I'm not in the right when, yes, it happened on the job and then also the same time. If lawyers aren't willing to take it on, buddy. I mean, they go for the W. They go for the win.
Starting point is 01:19:36 Yeah, the owner said that he, was going to pay for it without a doubt that he was going to pay for it. And then... Then you shot yourself like a dumbass? No, then he just completely... Anytime I would give him a bill that he said he would cover, it would take him four or five weeks. And then on top of the four or five weeks, he would...
Starting point is 01:19:53 Okay, but why are you not on a minimally payment on this, dude? Because every time I try to get an Aetna to like even just run it through my insurance to run that price down, that Aetna will just hang up the phone on it. They say it's workman's comp. And then it gets sent back to the former... business that I worked for, and then they send it back to Edna. They keep sending it back, so it's constantly in limbo to actually... So what, you're just going to allow to go to collections?
Starting point is 01:20:18 Yeah, until that situation is... Which is going to fuck your credit when you want to get a new house? Makes this make sense? Like, yes, that sucks. I have sympathy for it. I wish it wasn't like that. But why fuck yourself? Because...
Starting point is 01:20:32 Why let the consequence of this fall on your... Because his old boss said I'd pay for it. He's trying to hold it to him. agree. I'm on your side with this. I agree. But the consequence is he's not going to face any of the consequences. You will by allowing this to go to collections. I would rather get it on a minimum fee payment and then try to fight it. To me, it's more of like trying to snuff him. Which would be $1,3008 a month, which essentially eats almost your entire pay, by the way. Yeah. So, I mean, that would be
Starting point is 01:20:59 crazy. Shit. I mean, I'm on your side. I don't like it. If it is accurately under Workman's comp, I'd rather that. Talk to some lawyers. Some big town lawyers. See what you can get, man. See what you can get. Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. Our neighbor even gave you a business card for a lawyer. And I left two voicemails and two emails there. When?
Starting point is 01:21:24 This was still fresh. When? A couple months ago. And you haven't followed up. Come on. If he done to get immediate results, he loses interest. Discover. Okay. Well, this is actually here. This is what I would, this is what actually kind of concerns me, honestly.
Starting point is 01:21:44 Um, 2,308 dollars and 47 cents. Listen, okay, it's a balance. It's a balance you could probably pay off. But the thing is, you make a minimum fee being towards it. Then you spend hundreds of dollars on it. Make that make sense. Well, interest is accruing. Well, you can't even come close to paying it off.
Starting point is 01:21:59 Why the fuck are we spending money on it and having that balance go up? Now the minimum, minimum payment's higher, 56 bucks. Where the fuck are you guys spending on this? Who's spending on it? Who's card? That's right. What are you doing? woman. I had a dental that I put on there. And then I had to get a new license plate.
Starting point is 01:22:17 It was the license plate. But why are we putting it on a credit card? Because I don't have enough money to... But he does. What don't we be joint? Why put it on something that is accruing interest that you can't put more than the minimum towards it? Hey, guess what? This takes nine years if you only make minimum three payments, which is what you do and you don't spend on it, which you are incapable of. So this is going to take 18 years, 30 years? It's going to take forever. Yeah. I don't even have enough money to make a, the monthly payment on that. Joint, go joint. Why is it me, my, his, yours? Like, what the fuck guys? Have everything go in and out of the joint. We're one. Come on. That's what I want, but he grew up other ways.
Starting point is 01:22:55 Had a very, my parents had a rocky relationship. So I don't give a fuck. Do you want you to? Because you will, and you are. It was working until it didn't. What? Because his dad told him You make sure you have your own account And then you have your own account on the side But everything goes in and out of the joint Then if there's like some bullshit spending you want on the side Have it go from there from the joint
Starting point is 01:23:22 But bills in income come From joint and into joint Well I don't think that goes against your dad's advice And your dad's anyway so don't listen to him Is he rich? No he is yes Okay
Starting point is 01:23:36 Or at least like middle class. Oh, that's fine. Does he have a lot of dad? No. Okay, then maybe he's worth listening to. And he doesn't, that wasn't necessarily the wrong advice, but your interpretation of it was incorrect. Everything goes and comes from joint.
Starting point is 01:23:51 You can have your own account on the side. Got it. Well. Got it. Yeah. I like to see it. Will I see it? No.
Starting point is 01:23:59 I don't think so. Why? Why don't you think you'll see it? Because he's too set in his ways. he looks up to his dad. There's nothing wrong with that. But his dad's word is law to him. It can be, yes, especially when he gives solid advice.
Starting point is 01:24:15 But you have a wife. And I do listen to her, but... You've got to make things work with you guys. You can't just be daddy's boy for your entire life forever. We do try to make things work, but then she hides stuff like we haven't touched any of your hobbies yet. My hobbies that I spend like $10 a month $5,000 for a camera How about that?
Starting point is 01:24:41 Yeah, that was five years ago How about all the leather working tools? Why are you bringing up things five years ago? That's weird. I haven't bought it in a camera. I bought you SD cards for it like last year. Oh yeah, 20 bucks for SD cards. Also, you bought it.
Starting point is 01:24:56 I did buy it, yes. You're complaining that you bought? Well, because she doesn't, she won't tell me anything else she like, so I have to complain. I am very hard to Christmas shop for her. She's terrible to Christmas shop for her. Okay, then don't shop for anything. She'll learn her lesson.
Starting point is 01:25:09 Yeah. All right. I don't need anything. And yet you're so, I want to give you this. I want to give you that. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do that. And I do do it for you.
Starting point is 01:25:18 And then now you're about that now too? And I try to go out of my way to make sure you have stuff that you actually get to enjoy things. And I appreciate... Doesn't sound like it. I appreciate you wanting to spoil me. There's nothing wrong with wanting to spoil your spouse. But when I say no thank you, you go ahead and do it anyway. I had a mental breakdown because I asked for flowers for my
Starting point is 01:25:47 birthday. And he refused to give me flowers for like three years. All I wanted was flowers. That's all I asked. Mental breakdown. What did that look like? It was just crying fit. It was like, and that was also like three, four years ago. Maybe tell you you were having a mental breakdown? Because you cried and not getting flowers? Because I think that's kind of fair because you're a woman. You're a little crazy. Yeah. It was three, four years ago.
Starting point is 01:26:09 And ever since then, she's gotten flowers for her birthday, Valentine's Day, and then other occasions. He does finally give me flowers. No, but it took me crying and having a big issue because all I asked for was flowers. And I wanted flowers. How did this? Relationship. He's getting flowers and just major events. Like, where's the love?
Starting point is 01:26:29 How is y'all's relationship? We have a good relationship. One, it's like nothing else going on. Like taking the finances out of the relationship. But isn't everything? Because finances will always be in the relationship. The kids will for a very long time be in a relationship. Finances are always, you always have a bill to pay.
Starting point is 01:26:50 You'll always have income, jobs switching. So is that not impactful? How often you guys? A lot. Okay, that's good. Are we safe this time? I have my tubes tied. She snipped.
Starting point is 01:27:02 It can't get pregnant. Thank goodness. Okay. No more garage go. That's better than most couples on the show. But if you think finances aren't going to play a major role through the rest of time. Like finances does play a major role. But it will.
Starting point is 01:27:18 But when it like finances aside and what we're having a good day, we have a good day. What constitutes good day, bad day, though? She will say it's my mood. Yes, it is his mood. And then... It's usually the other way around, by the way. It's usually the woman. And she...
Starting point is 01:27:34 You're the woman. You're a bottom. No. No. Definitely not. Uh-huh. Because it'll be... Y'all's day comes down to your mood?
Starting point is 01:27:49 You're a little pussy. Her mood does also affect me. Like, if she's in a bad mood... We mirror each other, unfortunately. We mirror each other. Yeah, but is she ever in a bad mood? Is she only in a bad mood when you're in a bad mood? She is in her own bad moods all the time.
Starting point is 01:28:02 She very much disagrees. Yeah, of course she would. You are the leading mood. No. Why are you in such a bad mood? Oh, the label is wrong? Or, like, USDA came down on us for, like, something. So just do your fucking job, dude, I don't understand.
Starting point is 01:28:20 I do. It's not even, like, impacting your life. His issue is stupid coworkers, stupid drivers, or something. Where everyone interacts with super drivers every day. How do you allow that to affect your home life? I hate traffic. Everyone does, and you live in the middle of nowhere, so you don't know what traffic is.
Starting point is 01:28:37 Shut the fuck up. You don't know what traffic is, and everyone deals with traffic. If we let that impact our day life at home and kids and wife, like, what is wrong with you? Just driving down here, it was like, bitch this, f f f*** that. And it was like, dude, relax. Sometimes I do it for like, try to make it.
Starting point is 01:28:58 joke, but it doesn't work. I yell at everyone on the road, too. I don't take it home and beat my wife like you do. Freak. How often times is he drinking? He doesn't drink. Okay, that's good. Shocking, I know. I thought you go out to the bar with the boys, though. Well, he does, but he doesn't drink. I don't drink in excess. It's only like one or two drinks. Oh, so he drinks. He just don't, he doesn't get f-oh. I don't get f*** up. Okay, who's the freedom card? That'll be me. Okay, you're also a f*** moron. You're spending money when you can't pay it off. You made the minimum fee payment, and you spent on it. You owe $4,978.34 with a minimum monthly payment of $155.
Starting point is 01:29:37 Interest is accruing $105 a month. It takes 16 years to pay off if you do minimums, don't purchases. But again, just like your significant other, you can't not purchase. What is wrong with you? Just buy something and then worry about it later, I guess, yeah. See where that got us? Oh, his money isn't going to the beverages when he's going out with the boys. It's on the lap dances.
Starting point is 01:30:02 That was not my money in that video, but yes. In that video? Yes, so we were. There's a video somewhere in the friend group that someone has it. Reenacting is pretty freaking gay. What the fucking is spending on a car? And it's Amazon, too. Pull up your Amazon, a little freak.
Starting point is 01:30:19 Almost like almost half a thousand bucks on interest this year. Actually, by the time, no, at the time we are filming right now, it's definitely a half a thousand hours. This is crazy. So stupid and that's all your debt. Like, I mean, it's bad, but this is manageable, guys. I don't think you understand.
Starting point is 01:30:37 Just don't spend on your credit cards. Get on a payment plan with the medical debt or actually fucking put the feet to the fire. Show up places. It doesn't have the Amazon app. And then just, you know, your parents' debt. Like, this is not that bad, guys. He has three things in his cart
Starting point is 01:30:50 instead of actually paying shit off. Cast iron skill. I guess you don't have that. Do you really need this big coffee pot, probably not. You don't need... Okay, see, he's doing it. He wants a grinder.
Starting point is 01:30:59 No, dude, just get into the... A grinder? Yes. You don't need to get into the whole thing. Just get the small single serve. Shut the fuck up. Get pre-grined beans. You're bore.
Starting point is 01:31:09 You don't need to be. You actually don't make poor money for the cost of living area you are. You just stop at the gas station and get a canister of Fulgars. Eh, okay. You can do better than that. But yes, I mean, I...
Starting point is 01:31:21 I understand where you're coming from. Fulgers is the only coffee company I know. That's okay. Yeah, I try not to spend too too often on Amazon every once in a while. Shut the fuck up.
Starting point is 01:31:35 That would be too tempting. Shut the fuck up. Purchase history. Yeah, you're getting like Amazon gift cards and stuff. I don't know. It wants you to buy a massive battery. What are you trying to do? Equiflow.
Starting point is 01:31:49 Portable battery. For your camping, it's like 800 bucks. Don't. You must be shopping for that kind of shit. We were looking at it for like stuff for like the house and stuff like that. Well, I got them and they're wonderful, but I have money. The only big thing that we need to get is a flip and generator for the house. Every once in a while our power does go out.
Starting point is 01:32:07 Every once in a while. Our power went out when we were leaving the house to come down here. Yeah. It's not his fault. Why are you angry at him for that? Because he's rather buy it to use for camping instead of the house. You're a scary creature. I hate people like you.
Starting point is 01:32:23 Why aren't you tracking your screen time already? Piece of shit. Okay. Checking out. Is this the joint, Chase? Chase will be my checking account. Oh, you spent a lot of money. Only 300 bucks in there?
Starting point is 01:32:34 Yeah, it's all bullshit, dude. Like, you. Yeah, this is your fault. You're pathetic. You're not a good father. You're a bad partner. This is disgusting. You're Zelenot money, Microsoft, PayPal paying for, Steam Games.
Starting point is 01:32:46 Aladdin. Steam games? Aladdin, Aladdin. Aladdin. You spending money on games? Every once in a while, yeah. Why? Because I try.
Starting point is 01:32:54 Oh, because you don't have the right. right airplane? No, definitely not. It's more so like I try to buy nostalgia games for my youth. Oh, shut. Oh, you pathetic freak. Do it later. You don't even play the video games you currently have. I do. What games were so exciting during your Hitler youth? Hitman. Oh my goodness. Shut the fuck. What's Aladdin? You're going to Aladdin every five seconds. Aladdin is the shopping, like, kind of like market. Well, you're stopping in and getting things for like four bucks. What are you getting?
Starting point is 01:33:27 Usually like salads and stuff like that when I was at college. Aladdin's like the... Go fuck yourself. Pack a salad. Spotify. eBay? Yeah, there's some more collectible shit. Vending machine. Venet machine. That ain't a salad. Selling on money. Zelling on money. Zelling on money. PayPal and on money. Yeah, bullshit. Get into bullshit. PayPal paying for. Disney Plus.
Starting point is 01:33:51 eBay collectibles again. Taco Bell paying for, paying for. Get into bullshit. PayPal, PayPal, PayPal. I hope I see your PayPal in here because you do a lot of PayPal. And then eBay collectibles again and an Apple bill. The fuck you're doing? Okay, so pay later.
Starting point is 01:34:07 What's this? What are I saying? That is the PayPal Paying Force. What are you getting international phase? So that's eBay again, so he's getting collectible bullshit. Yeah, that's reenacting stuff. What is this? That's reenacting stuff.
Starting point is 01:34:18 Fuck you. Oh, there is more debt. Shit. Oh, oh, yeah, the mortgage. Okay. Okay, you have an equity position in your home. That's nice. of like 70,000, just about.
Starting point is 01:34:29 Yeah. He'll walk away with like what, 50. So 71,426, and 47 cents. What's your interest rate? You don't know your mortgage interest rate? Not at the top of my head. What's your minimum fee payment? $673.
Starting point is 01:34:50 I'm seeing $695. $695. I want to know your interest, though. How do you guys not know your interest? That was $20.21 when we close on the house. So there you go. You're going to go get a 6% interest somewhere when you're likely in a gorgeous like 2%.
Starting point is 01:35:03 No, I think what's the fuck we're doing? I think it's closer like 4% on the house. No, it's 3%. So you're going to double? Your interest if you're lucky? Yeah, good luck. Old second, who's this? This is hers.
Starting point is 01:35:17 She actually has money. Maybe she can spend some. She has 3,700 in there. Going in and getting some bullshit, some bullshit. Treehouse ventures multiple times. Uh, that would be... That's the kid's, like, playground that she takes them to every once in a while. Yes, it does.
Starting point is 01:35:32 Yeah, so it's like a play place, like you take them to. But in this, what is this? That's this old second. There's another old second? Yeah, that would be our joint account. What the fuck? We're in the joint account. We're getting McDonald's, door dashing Burger King, Amazon, Amazon, getting some bullshit.
Starting point is 01:35:48 Amazon door dashing. Again, PayPal money out. Like, this is, again, this is bullshit. You guys spend so much money. You can't say you're scraping by when you spend hundreds. not thousands on bullshit. You really can't. It's pathetic.
Starting point is 01:36:02 IRA, well, nothing. It's like 900 bucks, yeah, exactly. Oh, this is your Kia. Okay. Guys, I mean, you just don't spend the money on bullshit and you should be able to make progress on this. We would be fine. This makes no fucking sense.
Starting point is 01:36:18 If you prove it for a few months, you can consolidate your debt with a personal loan from Calebhammer.com. If you prove you can fix this, your behavior, so you don't end up in the same situation again, and he'll be fine. Like, I don't understand.
Starting point is 01:36:30 This is so stupid. You guys are so stupid. All right. And then you guys are bickering about nothing. Just don't spend money on bullshit and there's nothing to fight about. Like, what is wrong with you guys? Now, the minimum fee payment might be higher if you have to get on that medical. And, I mean, it'll fuck your collections if you don't.
Starting point is 01:36:47 I am, unfortunately. But all debt, including mortgage, is 14.06 a month and $0.9. It'll practically double if you have to do in 90 cents. If you have to do the, uh, if you have to do the, um, unfortunately. medical, but what's your utilities, gas electric, internet, monthly basis? Okay, let's see. 300 bucks? $300.
Starting point is 01:37:06 Phone bills? Well, you're on your mom. You? 101. Do helium. If T-Mobiles get in that area, he uses that same kind of service, same towers. But I think you have to pay off your phone first if you don't. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:18 So what, 101? 101. Every quarter. Oh, well, if it's like that, then that's not that bad. I should have brought that up. That's every quarter. Yeah, it's like... And then we don't have to worry about paying for water for our house.
Starting point is 01:37:32 But that's fine. $33.66. Gas, room from drive, drive, monthly basis. So I'm about $240 a month. You? Probably nothing. He doesn't let you go outside, but how much? Maybe $100 a month.
Starting point is 01:37:46 Going further than I thought. I guess to the enclosed play place and McDonald's. 340 car insurances? Car insurance is 82. for both his dad pays for his car insurance his car insurance is the six month year old on TIT
Starting point is 01:38:05 yes and then she does she does formula too we should be able to do the household food on I think less than this but we'll start at 800 meal prep meal plan warming up meals doing the meal prep meal plan
Starting point is 01:38:20 follow that it's based on our grocery store HB and I know Meyer is pretty similar so shut the fuck up TP fund anything else you need to survive you and the including going into the pay place. I'll put it a little extra money there. I'll say 300. Let's see where that goes.
Starting point is 01:38:32 Medical health care. They're co-pays, monthly basis for different things. Yeah, no. Medication is nothing okay. Good. Jim? No, Jim. Okay.
Starting point is 01:38:40 Subscriptions, I'll try 50 bucks. You choose where it goes. You said there's pets. How many of what? Three cats. Okay. Healthy, young? Yes.
Starting point is 01:38:49 Healthy and young. Okay, 150 for pet insurance. Because how the fuck would you guys take care of them if something were to happen? 175. Okay. Pet food. Pet litter, how much a month? 100 bucks a month.
Starting point is 01:39:00 Okay. Anything else that needs to be in this budget that's not? Let's see. I can't think of anything. I don't think so. Shouldn't be. She got anything hiding. No.
Starting point is 01:39:14 Does he hide stuff often? Yeah. I didn't find out that he... Okay, we'll just stop. I'm making the budget. We'll talk about that in the post show. We'll talk about his hiding and crazy shit that she found in the post show, apparently, which is insane.
Starting point is 01:39:26 but yeah, yeah, just have even more marks against you guys. $3,587 is what you need to survive, which means, guys, I mean, with your income before your second job, you have, with your second job, you're going to make an extra thousand a month soon? Yes. So what it's going to be? So this makes no sense.
Starting point is 01:39:44 You're going to make $5,800. So it's called it a month. 3,000, it's called 600. You have to spend $2,200. This is so f***. You guys are so f***. What is wrong with you guys? Even if you have to pay all your debt back medical debt without selling your house all this shit.
Starting point is 01:40:01 $2,200. I don't understand you guys this position. I just paid off in literally just over a year. This is disgusting. You guys are pathetic. Stop bickering. Start budgeting. Use dollar-wise.
Starting point is 01:40:16 Get on the same page. Stop spending money on bullshit. Make your more money and put it all towards the... This is pathetic. Okay, we're going to figure out what he's been hiding. Maybe that's why they're all fighting constantly. It's so stupid in the post show. Let's get the hammered financial score first.
Starting point is 01:40:27 What the f***? Just over a year to pay off. this is disgusting. You guys are pathetic. Spending in a budget, he won't even sell his guns. Go fuck yourself. You overspent zero out of time debt?
Starting point is 01:40:36 Well, nothing in collections yet that medical will be, but until then it's not the worst. Family debt's not great, so I'll bring it down to it too. Emergency fund didn't see anything. You had some money in your checking, but I'm not going to count that much. How much?
Starting point is 01:40:49 How much? $3,000? Yeah, I was going to say $3.000. Okay, I would definitely put it in an account, especially when you've had a home invasion. I give you guys a four out of 10. Retirement, that must have been what boosted up your score versus of what we saw in documents when you answered it online, Calebhammer.com for yours. But a retirement score, I'm glad you have an IRA, but it's practically nothing.
Starting point is 01:41:09 It's one out of ten. Real estate is actually halfway decent. You owe on the roof still for your mom. I'm going to hit that against the score, but it's still pretty good at a seven out of ten. It would probably be like a nine without that. Nine out of ten because of the mortgage, which is technical risk, even though it's not necessarily bad. Three out of ten, just like you got online. Calebhammer.com. Now click to join the
