Moblad. New season is now streaming on Paramount Plus.
Welcome to Week 2 Viarmount.
We got responses across the league.
Here's how vibe check works.
Rather than me just, not just guessing,
because I do have my finger on the pulse of the entire NFL.
This is actual research where I reach out to fans of the local teams.
Tell me what the vibe is.
Locally, we compile them all and compare them week to week.
The early big picture takeaway for the vibes of the entire NFL,
is that everyone feels pretty good.
69% of respondents are 7, 8, 9, or 10.
So everyone's optimistic, which is fantastic, ton of points.
We'll get to the highest climbers from week one to week two,
the highest climbing team where the vibes were okay,
and now they are through the roof.
They moved from number 24 on the vibe checklist to number six.
It is the San Francisco 49ers with a huge win down under over the Rams.
Here's the quote.
We are the best team in the league while healthy in offense with CMC,
Brock Purdy, George Kittle, and a defense with Fred Warner,
Dre Greenlaw, and Nick Bosa is a combination of talent that no other team in the league has besides the Rams.
And we beat the Rams in blowout fashion.
Bang Bang Niner Gang.
Jackson, Savvy analysis.
Fantastic.
Coming in at number two with a stunning, and I mean stunning,
from 4.83 to 7.67, the second highest vibe riser is the Arizona Cardinals,
who currently have the 11th best vibes in the entire league, a win against the Seahawks,
and we're making the playoffs, Elton. Now, Elton, I know it's your first brush with success.
But enjoy the ride. Live in the moment. Don't always be thinking about making the playoffs,
winning the Super Bowl.
You beat the champs.
If it was boxing, you would be the champ.
I think you should be happy with that.
Shout out to Arizona.
But maybe you guys are the deep sleeper
and shout out to former Patriot.
Once a Patriot, always a Patriot.
Jacoby Percet.
Coming in at number three,
this team is a true deep sleeper.
This team has a long tradition
of being terrible.
This team has moved
from the 29th best vibes,
aka the third worst,
to 17,
nice and right in the middle,
but for them,
fantastic.
It's the New York Jets.
If we beat the Packers,
you're going to need to add
a 11 to the vibe scale.
It's like a spinal tap reference.
Shout out my two-week-old,
Conrad.
I have a buddy who's a Jets fan.
And a while ago,
his son's probably 12, 13, 12 or 13 now, but we've been friends for a few years.
So maybe his son was five or six and he's getting into football.
And he was complaining about the Jets and he was just really going through it like a real agony,
almost like he was like cursed with an illness.
And I said, Stu, why don't you just not make him a Jets fan?
Like we live in New York, but I made my kids Patriots fan.
You make him whatever you want to start.
buying the stuff and turning on the games.
And he was offended by it.
So there is a nice mix of loyalty and suffering for Jets fans that I almost respect.
I am 26 years old, and this is legitimately the best I've ever felt about the Jets signed Will.
Shout out to you, Will.
You're 1-0.
If you win next week, holy cow, death taxes and Robert Sala not understanding a Jets offense.
First place, Jets, Pete.
Shout to you, Pete.
Congratulations.
You're in first place.
These vibes have gotten even higher.
It's the Kansas City Chiefs.
K-9, Kent Walker is a truck.
Andy's calling plays from the Great Depression,
and Bo Nix looked like he belonged on Wild Sun's Pee-Wee team.
How can you not be excited?
Don't love that the receivers still stink, but you can't have it all.
I'm not feeling too optimistic.
I'm over the moon!
Brew has caused a phenomenon in these comments.
I can barely understand half of them.
I'm reading them.
I said, oh, that's interesting.
And then I get tricked again.
Signed Hamza Kazi.
the chiefs do look great.
The vibes are through the roof.
We talk a lot about the chiefs,
and I'm beloved in Kansas City,
but they deserve it.
Also flying up the chart overall.
And then coming in fifth with a dramatic rise
that everyone kind of expected.
Like, your quarterback's pretty good.
You got a new coach.
You got a new tight end.
You can have a big win.
It's the New York Giants.
The best quote being,
Dartman, Dartman, Dartman,
that boy's up to something.
I didn't know we're still doing that.
It's a little bit of my name theory.
Like if Jackson Dart's name was Peter Interception,
He already had a cool last name, DART for a quarterback or any profession that really involves throwing things, number one being Darts.
And then he goes with Jackson and then he throws the X in there.
It's like, man, it's almost on the verge of what we're doing it, but it's worked out so far.
But I don't know if we need to get another Dartman, Iceman reference.
All right, now we've got the biggest fallers in vibes.
these vibes went up from high to low.
And the first one, I knew this was something was up with this poll, Gianna,
because this team was too high on themselves to the point that I picked them in my upset alert.
Like, maybe they know something.
But to your credit, you guys scored a ton of points.
The quarterback was sneaky good.
Some people say he's top 10.
The running back is fantastic.
Go badgers.
The Indianapolis Colts dropped.
And this might be a little bit of a voting.
quirk from 8.49 to 1.75. It's a 6.74 drop legitimately wondering if we employ defensive players.
It is an issue. But maybe Lamar is that good. Maybe Derek Henry is just that good and you guys are
okay. Try to slow down Mahomes. We'll see what happens. The second biggest drop and we spilled a lot
of ink about them. It's the Chargers dropping almost five points. I don't know whether to be out on Herbert,
McDaniel, Harbaugh, or just the Chargers.
I'm not giving up yet, but we might be cursed,
writes James, tough one.
And then Tim S follows up with,
a loss to Arizona is an automatic six.
Yeah, I mean, I think that's totally fair.
Third biggest dropper, Cowboys, 4.77.
It's week two, and it's the same story.
It's been for 30 years.
Since I was, what do you think he's going to say here?
Matt McMillard, since he was a little boy, maybe.
since I was negative five, which I really like, Matt.
I really like, I really like looking at the world through your own life's prism and just, like, when was Woodstock?
Wow, it's like, oh, Woodstock, that was me minus 10.
I was negative 10.
Like, you still existed, but you were just in the negatives.
I just, this is less about football and just more of a way to look at.
life. Yeah, Kegan, what are you talking about here? This is not even analysis. This is just
this is some Zen stuff. Things will never change until they do. But even then, they probably
won't. Really? Kegan, we should hang out. I love that. That's like, that's like if you're
stressed out, hey, you hear this AI is going to get us?
Things will never change until they do.
But even then, they probably won't really.
Like, thanks, Gigan.
Let's, all right, well, let's go for a run.
Packers dropped four points.
Our entire fan base is reposting the Twitter announcement of Matt LaFleur being hired seven,
hello, years ago, and attaching the scene from Interstellar where the astronaut wants to go back
and change the past.
Almost dropping four points, the Broncos 3.98.
How can one loss feel like five?
Kev.
I don't know if that was supposed to be Kev, or the guy's name is also Kev.
That loss did feel like that, feel like five losses because you played badly in every respect,
which is why I think it's hard to judge the Chiefs.
Like, oh, the Chiefs are fantastic.
You gave up 250 yards of yardage.
You have 250 yards of yardage and mistackles.
One game can't change my beliefs.
I watch the start one and two and finish 14 and 3.
last year. We always start slow, seven-game win-street coming at the least. Good optimism from the
Broncos. Titans, oh man, this is bad. This is bad. That's the worst thing I've ever seen in the history
of my sports viewing. Not sure why as a Brit, this was the team I picked. Seb, that was a terrible call.
Who did you consult on this? And, Seb, unless you have some connection to the Titans,
get out.
There is no point.
Get out of the Titans.
That's never going to pay off for you.
Get out, Seb.
Oh, my goodness.
He's passionate, too.
He's weighing in on polls.
The Rams are the opposite.
9.92 to 7.20.
Still really good.
Panicking over one week is crazy.
Pook is the best receiver in football.
Without Miles Garrett,
the Rams go from favorites to just a contender.
That's accurate.
another big dropper, the Patriots, panicking.
Drake May try not to throw boneheaded interceptions challenge sincerely.
Ian from first things first.
Okay, that's a little bit of insider trading.
Ian just works on the show.
I will trust Drake May again after like five good games.
That's too much.
That fourth quarter damaged my confidence facts.
Love the show.
My name is Cleber and I'm from Brazil.
Well, nice to meet you.
And thanks for being a fan in Brazil.
All right, time for the best vibes.
Those are the biggest droppers.
We did the biggest risers, the biggest fallers, and now it's time for the Vibes medal stands.
The three best vibes in the entire NFL coming in with the bronze after a dominating performance in Indy.
It's the Baltimore Ravens 9.15.
I don't want to say we're winning the Super Bowl, but we're winning the Super Bowl, says Jack Vee.
Look, you guys look great.
I'm surprised you're not higher on the vibes, but I think your vibes are already so good.
that there's not a lot of places to go.
The silver medalist
with a 9.20,
it's the Bears.
Why did Caleb Williams say the Panthers
had a, quote, real nice defense to Dave Canales postgame?
It felt disrespectful, but amped me up.
This, we haven't done this story on the show.
after scoring 59 points
Caleb very nicely to Dave Canales said
hey great defense
and it's the tone in which he says it
it feels like an actual compliment
it doesn't feel like he's trying to like big up himself
he does it kind of ego free
it feels like he's just trying to be a nice guy
and maybe
I don't know
but it didn't seem mean-spirited at all.
We haven't done it.
I think Caleb's actually just like,
he's a great football player, nice guy.
Is he good as Drake, Meg?
Not necessarily, but it doesn't mean it can't be great.
And the gold, this team is flying high.
And I want to say,
thank you for watching First Things First.
Because a lot of these fans, just the comments are,
thank you for talking about our team.
I'm like, oh, well, you're welcome.
It is our job, but I guess you guys don't get enough attention
for how good you are.
point eight.
It's the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I mean, our team has just completely dominated
the last almost 10 regular season games,
and Trevor's looked like a true MVP during
that stretch. How can you not be happy?
Especially when you're not
used to success like this!
Exclamation point, Rick!
Well, shout out to you, Rick.
Fantastic job. You
have the gold medal
vibes down in Jacksonville.
Fantastic. And congratulations.
We're going to now quickly run through all the teams, and that will wrap up week two of vibe check.
We already did the top three, Jacksonville, Bears, Ravens.
Again, they were a high-riser and coming in at four.
The New York Giants.
Kansas City Chiefs at five.
San Francisco 49ers at six.
Vives slightly behind the 49ers, but they've been solid all year.
Buffalo Bills at seven.
This team should have higher vibes.
and considering that their quarterback got hurt
and they're still top 10,
it's the Seattle Seahawks 848.
Bengals are first losing,
but we have good vibes team.
Hey, we could have tied it.
We tried to go for the win.
Good vibes.
The New Orleans Saints, 8.12.
Then the Cardinals, the Eagles at 7.65.
Vikings, a team with a win like, hey, look at us.
High risers, the Las Vegas.
Raiders coming in at 14, above the Rams, who fell from 9 to 7.
Panthers, happy with all the points, tied with the Rams for the vibes.
The Jets coming in at 17, followed by the Texans, who have to be a little bit worried
about the defense, a decent fall from the Texans.
Steelers, a solid six, they actually moved up from 23 to 19.
The Lions won the game and have lower vibes.
lives than the Saints who lost.
The commanders, and then to 22 and 23, it's the AFC championship that was a low-scoring game,
and neither team was impressed with their week one's performance.
It's the Patriots and the Broncos, followed by Baker and all his turnovers, 4.33.
Cowboys at 25, followed by the Dolphins at 26.
Ryan Fitzpatrick said that you guys could go 0-1-17.
I just don't believe that.
I don't think, A, I think it's hard to go O'N17.
There's a reason it doesn't happen.
And B, like, yeah, everybody wants a high draft pick,
but your coach, GM, and quarterback are all from the Packers.
You guys are a unit that is going to grow.
I don't think the dolphins are going to be that bad.
I think people are overreacting to one bad game.
And the line is almost 14 in San Francisco.
Did I put a dollar on that?
that? Maybe. At 27, they haven't won a game since mid-December before Christmas. I'm
already thinking about, I'm thinking about getting into Christmas this year. I'm always into it,
but be a guy that's like super into it. Like really do the lights and like start shopping for presents
right now. It's the Green Bay Packers. Then it's the Chargers. We're at 2.88, slightly ahead
of the Cleveland Browns. It's the Colts who got cooked at home.
by the Ravens.
At 31, 1.67, this is the ones club.
The Browns, the Colts, this team, it's, I don't even know, it's 1 o'clock.
I don't know if they have a quarterback yet.
The game is on Sunday.
It's the Atlanta Falcons.
And then finally, dead last, 1.25.
It's the Tennessee Titans.
And that concludes, week two, vibe check.
Keep the vibes high.
Read some books.
Call your mom and eat some vegetables.
I always like when they sign off with that.
I need to get work on it.
