Starting point is 00:00:00 ACAST powers the world's best podcasts. Here's a show that we recommend. Nature. I've got a gay rooster named Francois. Is so gay. These rams are gay. I'm studying gay animals. Does that mean I'm gay?
Starting point is 00:00:20 So why don't more people know this? I'm Owen Ever. I'm Lane Kaplan-Levinson. And this is a field guide to gay animals. A podcast about queerness in the natural world. The animal kingdom is queer and we are a part. Find a field guide to gay animals on Spotify, Apple. Or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Acast helps creators launch, grow, and monetize their podcasts everywhere. Acast.com Goes Without Saying. You're listening to Goes Without Saying with Sefi and Wing. I'm Wing. And I'm Sefi. Sorry, that was bad timing. You just went to sip a drink and I interrupted you. This is very, very casual Sefi and Wing. And I'm Sephi. Sorry, that was bad timing. You just went to sip a drink and I interrupted you. This is very, very casual, Sephi and Wing.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Very chilled, Lisa's Geese. I feel like we've actually hit kind of... This must be an achievement of how chilled we can go. Yeah. We talk about Taylor Swift. We talk about New Girl. There must be a few things in between there of value, but I can't remember what they are.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Gilmore Girls. I don't know if that hooks you at all. You talk about movies. It's quite media heavy, this one. Lots of our favourite pop culture things. Music. And it was a very nice, just chilled, easygoing chat about very nice, soft and gentle things. I think we just kind of needed that.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Can't be topics every day. Yeah. Not for me anyway. Enjoy. Okay, that feels good. the record off the record yeah this is just between us this is really like if we've ever been lisa's geese before it's now it's it's now yeah what happens on an off the record stays off the record guys yeah yeah definitely i've got something that immediately oh no go on go on i was just gonna say we we had a call the
Starting point is 00:02:04 other day and someone said to us just off the record and i thought did they yeah but i thought did you pick up on that or no no you didn't when was that can't say it's off the record oh well i'm not gonna have a clue what you're talking about then it stays off the record i love it when someone that doesn't know anything about the podcast says like i guess it just goes without saying really it's like oh like you know what if only you know yeah you knew what that meant to me they don't know i have a podcast called goes without saying goes without saying that little meme okay ready um yeah i've got something that's what's just immediately gonna hype you like i just know that you're perfect i just don't really know you're gonna answer i'm gonna be like it's about taylor swift yeah yeah it's um what's your favorite taylor swift song if you had to all-time favorite
Starting point is 00:02:50 you're only allowed it basically like this song is going to play i don't know this is your all-time favorite song of taylor swift you can only pick one that survives which do you pick whoa and you get rid of the rest i think it's like you burn the rest of the discography. So you keep one and all the rest go. I'm not feeling hyped. I'm feeling very stressed. I'm feeling terrible at this news. No, okay, but let's lower the stakes.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Your favourite. Hear me out. There's things where, you know, you do those flow charts and it makes you choose. It's like a little tournament. You pick this one or this one, which one do you like, and then it kind of does. it's like a little tournament you pick like this one or this one which one do you like and then it kind of does and then it gets your favorite statistically this is your favorite one um i haven't done that recently but the thing with taylor swift is there's there's two the discography is two
Starting point is 00:03:36 is too large it's so large and vast yeah it's an expansive um discography it really is yeah discography big old repertoire she has when did we all start saying discography like you would say a filmography you know i know like it's definitely not but it's new in the um in just the general language of the of the day-to-day life newer than filmography i mean i'm not using either well anyway to answer your question i actually don't have an answer and i can't i couldn't possibly because they're all so different then it's like you need it for different moods okay i'm gonna throw you some moods all right happy mood what are you going to play and these are just off the top of my head yeah yeah yeah this is off the record happy mood i i do love karma i love it as a concept
Starting point is 00:04:23 same and i am really desperado for the karma album question mark question mark so there's this like theory it's getting a whole album well there was like this theory of a lost album that basically kim and kanye yeah it was supposed to come out before reputation like before she did the album reputation which was her being like god my reputation's in ruins reputation in smithereens she had this album going apparently it was karma she was working on this album and then obviously everything went to shit so she had to scrap that album because it just wouldn't work anymore yeah and then bring out reputation instead so there's the kind of question mark around like what was that supposed
Starting point is 00:04:58 to be is it the karma album and what songs are on reputation um what songs are on reputation that you that i would know i think you would be quite a reputation oh i know i would yeah i know i think reputation is quite your thing so my kind of plan with you just something i've been planning for you in in our joint life is to really sit you down and put you to work in like oh i love the sound kind of from start to finish of this of the discography we're gonna i would i would love to analyze i would love to do that yeah um what about so you're feeling a bit like almost you're feeling down in the dumps it's like raining outside it's a little bit of a moody morning what are you putting on how down in the dumps are we we're not all the way four out of
Starting point is 00:05:41 ten down oh whoa god we're in quite a good mood god i'm ecstatic no no it's like almost like a cozy down in the dumps what did you say it's a cozy down in the dumps that's quite nice i mean any of folklore or evermore i don't think if anyone's feeling like really bummed are you listening to taylor yes yeah you're listening to shake it off oh no i'm listening to my tears ricochet oh i'm high i'm kind of always using this to propel me out of the dump this was actually quite a thing i think i've said this before but like in understanding what it took for me to get out of like really really struggling with my mental health there were moments where i think i kind of realized for the first time like oh you're listening to my tears ricochet every day like you you can't do it's obviously putting you in a bad mood like i almost think i listen to sad music just from the title my tears ricochet
Starting point is 00:06:31 you know that word you know that i know my tears ricochet yeah there we go perfect but i don't know anything else just just how mama used to make it yeah um that's all i know but it did it took a while like i almost it's like god i wouldn't read a sad book every day or watch a sad film every day or no but why all i do is listen to sad music so it took me a while to be like no i actually need to make an effort to not do that anymore yeah do you know what i have that about lana like i love her so much but it's like if i'm on a train or if i'm on any kind of like can tip you over the edge i can turn it into a movie set of like a somber moment yeah don't put her on because you will lean all the way into it don't risk it
Starting point is 00:07:09 yeah you can't you're not in a fit state we're empaths we can't help ourselves oh yeah no just okay one last mood for you okay you're getting hyped you're going out with the girlies okay it's time for a taylor tune the orcs has been passed to you what do you play oh i okay sorry i can't play karma again because i've just played it yeah but like someone else just before you has played karma god that's out of order because they knew i wanted to play that um it was me it was the only song i knew of taylor swift and i played it no i'm literally looking like i want to make the right choice here yeah yeah let me look i only have one taylor album like down oh you know
Starting point is 00:07:45 what i could do which from reputation album yeah there's a song called getaway car which has to be oh i know you're in a getaway car yes at the mall that's one of the ones that i think you would like yeah is that right yeah yeah so right yeah you know that one do you i've seen a video of her and jack and stuff like working out the lyrics well you would love the song that's the song that i think you would really like you know what else i really like glitch underrated and false god underrated god never heard of these yeah they're two like underrated ones and um and yeah i'll leave it there for now that's where i'm at oh i love it thank you fight me up cruel summer that's a classic you know um do you know my favorite taylor swift song of all time my
Starting point is 00:08:29 favorite but like one that i actually really really love i love the song oh i remember you loving that i remember i love the one i think it's so stunning it is really stunning i thought i saw you at the bus stop so i didn't know beautiful okay well thanks for um thanks for that yeah that was lovely thanks whoever asked that question i hope you were seven hope you're happy with my yes that's a perfect song come on invisible string that's a perfect song shivers yeah they're perfect i'm just such a perfect song oh yeah yeah all right should we leave her there then yeah let's leave her there okay i'm just looking through some other questions. Guys, you asked so many, like, amazing questions.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Just thank you. The one that I just screenshot and I'm about to send it to my family group chat. Oh, yeah. This is very topical. It's very topical. Someone said, did Sefi's dad actually throw a lime at Joe Jonas? Which I'm going to send to him and be like, confirm or deny, did you? We need a confirm or deny, but I don't believe a word of it.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Look, all I know is from him when i was younger this is when it was the disney channel era um i need to ask he was like the jonas brothers walked down and i threw a line at them i don't know why he did it he could have been joking like taking the piss out of me but i've always believed that my dad has thrown a line at joe jonas it's a great story it is my favorite it really hits right now doesn't now he deserves that line for the slander he's throwing at sophie i love you yeah sophie i love you um this one kind of in a similar realm to the pop culture sphere music books movies one stays one has to go oh one is limited to once per year so you've got one that's just normal one of them's gone forever and one you're only getting once a year is dreadful awful movies are staying as it
Starting point is 00:10:12 is for me okay so then you either get a book once a year or music once a year what and the other one has to go for me music music stays yeah yeah music i think music goes once a year. You only get music once a year. I'm not watching one movie a year. But I listen to music too much. I can watch TV still. That's what I was just thinking. What's happening to TV? TV's safe.
Starting point is 00:10:36 TV's safe, yeah. It will take me my lifetime to work through The Hunger Games. I'll be watching, I'll be waiting. You have to keep music as it is surely because music just follows you everywhere in life you're not really a music you are a music listener but i remember yeah i'm not like i'm not i'm i try to bring music into my life as much as possible yeah because just a thing in my life my dad is very very very into music um and my mum how could you not be through a line with
Starting point is 00:11:05 joe jonas literally that was a musical statement yeah i genuinely i don't think i've ever heard my mom listen to a song ever in my life like i don't think i've ever heard her listen to music and our house is a very musicless house like it's always kind of radio four and things like that are on this house is a very soulless house it's always music is kind of illegal in my house it's really odd like it's always kind of yeah radio 4 kind of she's always listening to some kind of audiobook sort of thing it's very intellectual very high it's very odd actually like she's very into kind of bbc sounds like they do like documentaries and shit like oh jesus christ like it's not for me or like you know gotta be in the mood but i try and bring an intentional i'm very like trying to bring in like making sure my speaker is charged making sure my headphones
Starting point is 00:11:54 are charged like not always going to like listen to i listen to a lot of podcasts blah blah blah but i'm trying to like podcast boring who would listen boring boring boring chatter chatter chatter i'm trying to like in the morning start my day with like music and stuff because i forget how much i love it so interesting so i have a similar kind of thing where like growing up when i was in like quite a bad just a horrible household there was no room for me to be playing music out loud but i would always put my earphones in so i'd be like for example in my own room on my own getting ready for school for example but i'd have my earphones in like almost not that i wasn't allowed to listen to music out loud but like i wasn't allowed to listen to music that's kind of the
Starting point is 00:12:34 same as me it's almost like there's too much turn the music off that would there be like autism in my family like the music could be like the trigger like loud noises exactly yeah well that's so valid yeah there was just a lot of hatred in in my house that was like turn that shit off um and then it's take it like i if i have music playing out loud it's very intentional like i've always got music in my earphones but to have it playing out loud even just on my own in my own place is still something that i'm like when i do it i'm like it's it really feels like we have this kind of we have this phrase that we use sometimes dominate the space it's a very clear way to dominate the space do you know what it really
Starting point is 00:13:16 is i'm playing my music no it totally feels um entitled allowed to play music do you know what i'm actually good in the last episode i said a little bit about going holiday with this guy and i just feel like this is the absolute definition of just like um almost how men feel the entitlement to like play their music out loud and like almost dominate the space went to the beach with me this guy my dad and my little little sister who's like eight years old and got there and he immediately put on like a speaker of his like reggae reggae like really loudly and it was just one of those things where it's like oh my god like the level of confidence i would need to feel to like play my music in front of a group of not just like my friends or something but like the girl that i'm seeing and her dad and her little
Starting point is 00:13:57 sister on a beach of like in a country like portuguese beach like not necessarily like i don't know what they do in america but they might have loud like it's it was crazy it's an interesting thought isn't it it is i do think it's quite political of who feels that they're mute because it is it's so like you know the feeling of having to listen to music you don't like like in a place where you're trying to relax totally totally that's why i'm like really intentional with like when it's just it feels it's so like healing in like an internal sense to like play music out loud in your own home after that being something that you were not safe to do growing up not allowed to do yeah and like even um or not
Starting point is 00:14:38 even like allowed but there was like a lot of conversation around the types of media like i grew up in a very religious, like quite an extreme, well I shouldn't say extremist. I think the word is like fundamentalist. Like I actually wouldn't say extremist. I'm going to be like put on a watch list somewhere. Yeah. But like a lot of things I just wasn't,
Starting point is 00:14:58 I wasn't, it was like I was being devilish for like listening to the Jonas Brothers, for example. Yawning out. Jesus Christ. Yeah. I had someone say to me that the Jonas Brothers for like listening to the Jonas Brothers, for example. Yawning out. Jesus Christ. Yeah, I had someone say to me that the Jonas Brothers were like possessed by the devil. They're like the most religious. They were like religious at that era.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Not the right religion apparently. Wearing purity brand. Yeah, it wasn't good enough. It was all about like selling sex to little virgin girls. But anyway, anyway, I can't even get into it. What was I saying? And I remember though i remember once being around someone's house and she this girl had a shower while i was in her own home and i
Starting point is 00:15:31 was there and she played music out loud while she was having a shower and it happens all the time but i remember thinking that's so nice yeah to shower and play your music out loud and like feel confident in it so now i like really enjoy when i play yeah when i play music out loud all the time it just feels really like yeah nice rather than like also keeping it in your earphones is so it's almost like i'll be in my bedroom making no noise pretending i don't exist it's like all right you're okay you're okay you're allowed to play music out loud on your own in your home that's so interesting i almost think i had never really like processed that as a thing because i agree like i wouldn't play music whilst i'm having a shower really like not not whilst i'm living i think i've been very trained to like be very
Starting point is 00:16:13 quiet yeah because i don't have things with headphones in but i have things very very quiet like every night i listen to my podcast of the world that i listen to kind of i listen to my ricky james podcast i know he's fucked i've been doing it since i was like 12 and can we just i don't know if we said this on the podcast but when we went to amsterdam together i said to teffy like look i want you to play it i'm not trying to take away your nighttime routine like i want baby to still have her bedtime routine going like i want to still like keep her in her routine i'm not taking that from you i would love to enjoy it with you if you wouldn't mind sharing it and you did get a couple giggles out of me because it's fucking funny as
Starting point is 00:16:48 shit like no it's really funny it's so funny like yeah like since i was honestly 12 since i'd discovered a funny experience like because i was laying stiff as a board next to you think and i kept thinking is she enjoying this is she asleep i just know it i like i know that yeah you're saying it to yourself in your head because i knew what which bits were coming up and what was the bit that really loved if you made you laugh it's a bit that steve said basically my king steve murchin carl pilgrimton is my true king but like what was the thing that was so funny no they were saying about him going to a club or something and he was like you can't come in dressed like that why do you look like that and he said i've just been sick it was just such a funny excuse he was like well why you wear why does
Starting point is 00:17:30 your hair look like that and he was like it was so random it's so funny that almost got me because i know the i know the bits off by heart like i listen i've been listening to these days like every night for so long now um that it's just part of like my wind down and to hear that as a joke is like i've never probably laughed at that joke like just that bit doesn't really like tickle me yeah yeah but like to hear you laugh at that really gave me it like fresh new lease of life yeah like i just love that but yeah i listen to that on a very quiet volume like i'm very like aware of the fact that if i have things on very loud people would be banging on my door like yeah turn that off yeah or like it just creates a risk
Starting point is 00:18:11 in the house when it's like yeah we're trying to keep things very low risk like um not overloading the senses sort of thing no big smells no big blah blah sounds blah blah but i've actually never really thought of that of like living when i've lived on my own i did have music in the shower and things like that like i don't think i'd ever really put those two things together yeah no i think it's huge i think as like dare i say as women like yeah you're told to shut the fuck up and here you are making a scene by listening to what you want to listen to like in your own fucking lived existence in your own life like yeah it's not too much to ask obviously don't be an arsehole and this definitely is not capital not me inviting everyone to listen to this on loud i would quite like you to keep us quite private
Starting point is 00:18:56 if possible how terrifying would that be you hear a car going past and they're playing this absolutely not i can only apologize to the pedestrians. ACAST powers the world's best podcasts. Here's a show that we recommend. Nature. I've got a gay rooster named Francois. Is so gay. These rams are gay. I'm studying gay animals. Does that mean I'm

Starting point is 00:19:59 That was a nice little combo. Oh oh but we haven't answered the question what was it one stays one goes you get one a year oh yeah film movies save one song a year and books books go yeah because i'll just watch the movie okay i'm doing music has to stay and then i do one fuck thing is tv tv exists no i'm not i'm not getting rid of movies i'm watching i know i can't do it because i'll hear the songs in the movies in the movies i'll see you in the movies i'll just watch mama mia or something but books is like god so you're writing off every book like almost with movies it's like is it just for me because then the movies won't get made because there'll be no like source material. Or books leave the universe.
Starting point is 00:20:45 It's the end of Cineworld. That's what I'm saying. Oh yeah, well books have to stay then. Also, you know when I was vegan and it's like I can have fake chicken, I can have a fake burger. Like I can fake that but I'm not faking an egg. Like where am I getting like a boiled egg, a fried egg, a poached egg. As pure as it can get straight from the chicken's butt. Because it's like like how are you
Starting point is 00:21:05 faking that it's like i can watch the trailers on youtube maybe for movies like you haven't ending explained yeah yeah like i could watch commentary videos but but like i could watch tv shows that's the thing that's changing the hit that's the thing that's changing for me you've still got tv you've still got something kind of closer to that medium whereas to let go of books is like well you can't let go of books because then it would be quite a political statement towards my um childhood of oh you want to torture me via this religious text yeah well i'm banning it yeah yeah the removal of all books for my inner child because they are like what no one knows how to read all of a sudden i don't know
Starting point is 00:21:45 i think if i can keep tv i'm happy to let movies go for to once a year but then songs have to go for me i'll have one book a year all the movies might to my heart's content and i'll just hear the music in songs i'll just hear the music in the films what if there's no music in films then there has to be because that's but there is the essence of a movie i have to take it up with the person who asked the question yeah i need to know whether i can hit because i'm trying to find loopholes that i can hear the songs in the films have you listened to olivia olivia rodrigo's new album i have guts have you yeah i have i was listening for my i was doing my second listen this morning what were your thoughts on bad idea right um i'd heard it before i've seen it around the internet before
Starting point is 00:22:30 it's not my favorite of the do you okay so what are your thoughts on her in general um yeah i what are your thoughts on guts i like her i like olivia rodrigo i liked um good what's the other album called sour sour yeah i like something basically my friend is my little sister and my friend who i'm going on holiday with my friend and we're going to my dad's house with my little sister the little eight-year-old as we've previously discussed will be there as well they're both huge olivia rodrigo fans they love her so i'm trying to listen to as much as possible before that holiday or it's going to be unbearable if i don't know the words and what and what are your thoughts on guts um i like it but i'm concerned about my little sister listening to it really i'm lying stiff as a um stiff as a
Starting point is 00:23:16 board a board like also because i was like to her if you listen to vampire and she loved it and i was like use me for parts you little eight-year-old can't listen to this but think think of the avril they love listening to the same age i was thinking avril's probably telling me to kill myself when i was going yeah yeah internalize it yeah bring that back up in 10 years yeah i love lily allen back then and she was saying some crazy things i loved amy winehouse back then and jesus that was as dark as it can get yeah yeah this is actually quite tame and compare well it is no it's tame because it's fun and everything but i was a bit like it is god i hope this is going over her head when i was listening to it it's interesting to think of things through other people's eyes yeah that's what i'm doing get him back or making the bed those are two big hits for me i saw the thing
Starting point is 00:24:04 that really made me like okay now I'm gonna like this album is did you see the thing of her screaming no you know this song all American bitch yes and there's a clip of her on the album going viral yeah there's a clip of her it would be the one the one it would be the one there's a clip of her kind of going viral of her doing the screaming part and then coming back into the I'm grateful all the fucking time bit. I do like that energy and I do feel like the awareness of what that will be doing for girls just like kind of younger than her. Yeah. Worldwide is interesting to think about kind of like the comparison of like when Miley did Bangers.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Yeah. They were about the same. She was about the same age as Olivia Rodrigo here. Yeah. singers yeah they were about the set she was about the same age as olivia rodrigo here yeah and like kind of then to think of us like at your little sister's age with like avril lily allen a little bit later like things like that there is a big difference of like a girl graduating disney and coming out with first song on the album all american bitch yeah and shit like that it is absolutely massive yeah no i'm i'm into it i'm into it yeah yeah i'm getting like i'm only on my second listen
Starting point is 00:25:06 um but yeah i i kind of have the awareness of like i think she seems she seems younger than me sort of thing but i have the awareness of like when i if i was 14 and this was coming out i would be obsessed obsessed obsessed obsessed like i like it i i respect it i can see the vibe but it doesn't feel like it's kind of in a lana way kind of yeah um melanie martinez i agree with you i don't think it's for me yeah unfortunately it's not for me which is nothing but my own fault but i i'm so into it existing i love it oh 100 and i think she's so cool like good for her sort of thing. All right.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Another question. Yeah. We're doing a lot of... It's quite media heavy, isn't it? Yeah, I'm not mad at it, though. No, me neither. I like it. What's...
Starting point is 00:25:54 Just kind of in another... Wait, wait, what does this mean? Dean, Jess or Logan? What's that? That's Gilmore Girls, I think. Oh, it is. I don't know. I have not seen it.
Starting point is 00:26:05 Dean. Hang on. Where? Where? Where? It's right at the bottom. It just says Dean, Jess and Logan. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Dean, Jess or Logan. Let me get my head straight. I was going to say, let me get my knickers in a twist. But yeah, get them untwizzled. Always twisted. Yeah. Gilmore Girls. So it's not Dean for me, unfortunately.
Starting point is 00:26:23 OK, well, let me get some images. It's I think it's Jess. but is logan who i'm thinking oh my goodness me is not logan sorry sorry sorry for the jump scare it's not logan but i'm happy for him but it's not the middle guy maybe it's jess oh no they're not in the same order though i think i'm viewing them as like you don't know who i mean by the middle guy you're doing chad michael murray but he's not showing up for me dean where's chad i'll pick him whoever he is no he's not is he not an option no i'm going with jess in terms of character dean freaks me the fuck out and he's such can you show me photos of each one because i'm getting confused because i just typed in like Dean Jess Logan and I'm saying like the middle one but they're in order.
Starting point is 00:27:09 Okay, so this is Dean. Are these all potential love interests? Yeah. Oh, hang on. This is Dean and Jess. So Dean and Jess. Jess is this one. Jess is a bit of a Ross Geller sort of vibe.
Starting point is 00:27:23 A little bit. And Dean is a little bit of a Ross Geller sort of vibe. A little bit. That's whatever his name is. And Dean is a little bit of a Heath Ledger kind of vibe. Wow. That's quite complimentary, isn't it? This is Dean. Okay, no, he's really not. Okay, I'm not picking Dean.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Heath Ledger, I'm turning his grey. I'm not picking Dean. Can I say that or is that fucked up? I think I'll go for Ross. Whatever his name is. Jess. He's the bad boy. Jess Geller.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Jess from Gilmore Girls. From Gilmore Girls. where his name is jess he's the bad boy jess galaire jess from gilmore gill from gilmore gears such a good joke um it just gets better every time yeah just is the one for me because let's see logan though i don't know who logan is he must be later on spoiler who's the guy that works like he like serves the coffee yeah he's that's for laura lie his name is um he's not an option because he's like basically her dad's age his name is rory in this can't i be yeah laura lie are you kidding me what's his deal then logan this is not listenable surely i don't know it's not the record um this is logan apparently i'm not no it's not logan it's not logan it has to be jess trust me jess is kind of he's a bit ruggedy and like he gets her in trouble a bit he doesn't give that vibe he's giving paleontologist that's because it's from gilmore girls there's only so much rugged gilmore girls can do it's
Starting point is 00:28:43 kind of zane in h2o put him in a leather jacket but it's like just the most normal of guys luke is really the star of the show that's who i want danes yeah well i'm obviously picking him grizzle boy it's literally a hundred percent thingy whatever his name is coffee man coffee man yeah and it's him and lorelei till the end do they end up together is that like the thing i think so he's he's a bit angry i don't know why i'm saying this i feel like if you've seen gilmore girls i'm giving such weird explanations you know what he's giving he's giving a bit nick miller a bit of a grump which i mean yeah that's perfect that's quite that's exactly it let me give you you have to get rid of one of these three from the universe okay
Starting point is 00:29:25 oh so one you get the whole time one you can only see once a year and one is gone for existence it's gone forever nick schmidt and winston oh no well winston does have to go oh god i need nick once a year and schmidt stays forever yeah i love schmidt wait nick once a year wait i'm doing this in my life what do you mean in your life what you're having sex with them no i'm not necessarily having or like you're watching them i'm like hanging out with them nick every day hang out nick every day i see schmidt once a year okay okay and i guess winston you do have to die but i'm not that changes things schmidt makes me so nervous that i think i couldn't hang out with him so maybe schmidt has to go and i'll be with winston i think
Starting point is 00:30:10 i could be great friends with winston but schmidt is too much i'm every time i see it i'm blushing just thinking about him he does complicate not in a fanciful way but like what like how do i act around you like i don't want you like i don't want you to think negatively of me do you know i mean like i always don't know what to make of him so like i i don't know who to who does he want me to be i can't do it i don't think whereas nick i can be himself he's got no idea but i think that's part of the charm it is it is but i can't i i'm too shy so i'll have nick every day i'm having schmidt to dinner once a year for sure and what's your relationship with him you're good friends no it's like me
Starting point is 00:30:46 nick's my boyfriend obviously obviously that goes on he comes for dinner i think we all understand it we all understand between you and nick well and then you and nick just catch up with schmidt once a year yeah and what do you talk about um whatever schmidt wants to talk about so i don't know what that would be he rules the race just kind of current affairs kind of um what does he say marketing kind of chutney chutney my driving yeah yeah sure yeah all right love i support that for you wait so but what are you picking you're picking nick every day i see if these are people in my real life which they are which they are obviously goes out saying i yeah i'm gonna have to say goodbye to schmidt i'm too nervous i'm too nervous no he still exists i just don't know him so you know him but i i've never met he never comes to
Starting point is 00:31:39 dinner with you once a year yeah those are the times i don't come to that dinner we've just never crossed paths both of our nicks are gonna get a bit a bit confused we're both sitting around with both our little nicks that is a bit confusing that is a little bit how about what would you trade for doctor what what is called the doctor dr sam dr sam would you take him if i take nick that's quite a loss for me yeah big time personally big time i'm trying to manipulate you into the loss yeah that was a little bit unfair thing is but they like that guy i'm just not into it you know what i do like him actually after you told me that people like him it did change my view on him yeah oh my god dr sam's so hot and i'm like get away from jess the
Starting point is 00:32:21 bit that's hot is when he's in the hospital and he's been looking after all those children and the children like really love him yeah it's like god look at you being a good person um but you can't switch him for nick they're not they're not comparable no the incomparable nick miller is nick do we think the perfect is he the most desirable kind of sitcom character like obviously he's so not. Just think about Jim, though. I do think Jim is desirable. Jim. Fuck Jim. From The Office.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Okay, right. Okay, so I'm going to give you now. Jim. Oh. Nick. Or who's up there as well? Don't know if there is anyone else. First thing.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Who do I give a shit about as much as I give a shit about Nick Miller and Jim and Pam? I don't think there is. The thing is, they can't all exist at once. If I'm seeing one of them every day, I don't think I can and see jim once what about are there any like disney channel loves like what are the kind of go-to's who do we love zach efron troy bolton i do have a soft spot same do you know what i was thinking i was actually thinking this maybe yesterday i don't think there's anything that i found like almost more like overwhelmingly hot because i was literally thinking this yesterday but i wonder if it's the same thing because mine's not necessarily troy but mine was zach efron in 17
Starting point is 00:33:30 again when he gets out of the car he's in a white t-shirt with a leather jacket like over his shoulder i remember just thinking oh my god that is like insane instant replay insane get the var going literally but yeah troy bolton well i do have a real love for troy but almost in a sentimental way i have aged out of it yeah exactly that's the problem no but it's not a problem it's actually quite convenient to be honest i could do with aging because he goes straight to the slaughter he's not he's not sticking around yeah he's gone and ultimately i would rather be with nick miller than jim because if i'm with jim my life is a misery and a lie at least because i work for dunder mifflin and i'm so bored out from that whereas at least if i'm with nick you don't have to be pam i do what i
Starting point is 00:34:17 don't work with jim so i don't get to see him in his prime you're telling me when jim steps out of that office he's still hot no he's not he's any old scrap so because he's next to fucking dwight shroot whoever that is and michael scott it's like is work hot that's a different level of hot do you know what i mean take jim into the real world he's not that hot nick is hot everywhere is he though everywhere he goes i almost think i don't want to see nick at work because nick at work he gets, oh, the thing is he's like a bartender. Maybe I do. Shit. It hurts my soul.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Oh God. You can have Nick because you've loved him longer. And I don't, I only know who Nick is really because I, I dedicated myself to watching it because of you. I knew him first. Yeah. You loved him first. You can definitely have him.
Starting point is 00:35:00 You deserve him. No, no, no. I don't want him. I don't even want him that bad. If I bring, I brought him to your life. you deserve him no no i don't i don't want him i don't even want him that bad if i bring i bought him to your life and at that moment i had to relinquish to know that you i knew you would love him equally you you did yeah although quite funny when i first watched it yeah you had to let go you had to understand what was what was happening from that moment but i remember when
Starting point is 00:35:23 i first watched it i don't know why i'd obviously got it confused i thought you'd been telling me i love schmidt i love schmidt he's so hot he's so hot so i remember when i first watched it i was thinking god this nick guy's quite hot i'm surprised sephie likes schmidt and then it took me a while you know me would i like that is so crazy to myself that's so crazy that she doesn't like Nick one is so my type one is so not
Starting point is 00:35:48 yeah that is so crazy yeah yeah I love Nick sorry if you don't know what New Girl is because this must have been excruciating
Starting point is 00:35:56 watch it watch it oh my god do if you do one thing in this lifetime make sure it's watch New Girl that's my advice how is everyone I wonder
