The chip on the shoulder, though, I think, like, as corny as it sounds, like, if you don't have it at this level of football, I feel like you're kind of just going through the motions.
Yeah.
You should have an edge.
Yeah.
It's like every, I feel like every single day you're trying to earn your spot and keep your spot.
So I'll take the chips as they stack.
Yeah, first home game is Cleveland.
Right.
I mean, there's no way to sugarcoat that one.
That one means a lot.
For it to be the first home game, I think also is exciting.
Yeah.
For the new look team that we have.
I immediately, when we got home, tweeted out, just saw a UFO, hoping somebody was.
gonna be like, yeah, bro, saw it too.
Everybody's like, oh, he's hammered.
He's like, no.
Coming home from dinner, driving home,
just being safe, saw the UFO,
and then now it's coming out.
They're like, yeah, I'm not crazy.
I want apologies from everybody.
Beau Allen here for the Greenlight Camp Series.
Down here in Tampa Bay, Florida,
with one of my favorite quarterbacks, Baker Mayfield,
Bake. Thanks for coming on, brother.
It's a pleasure being here, man.
Thanks for having me.
Yeah, of course.
I guess my first question for you is,
how honored are you to recently have been voted in the top 10 of hottest quarterbacks in the NFL by the ringer?
Did you see this?
I did not see it.
Grats, dude.
I'd like to thank my family.
Wow.
I've made it.
Yeah.
Do you have any guesses as to who number one was voted?
It's got to be Jimmy, right?
Oh, no.
I mean, yeah, he retired.
He was a lock.
He was a lock in which I.
I think you're better looking than Jalen.
Who's Jalen?
Yeah, Jalen hurts.
Huh.
But you did, uh, you were voted the quarterback with the most aura.
I think it's better, right?
God forbid.
Like, God forbid.
God forbid.
God forbid.
Oh, exactly.
I'd rather have like higher aura, I think, than looks because like...
Yeah, it's about character, not looks.
Exactly.
Not superficial at all.
Yeah, yeah.
But you got moxie.
How tired are you hearing people say that you got moxie?
I don't know when that.
that became like the number one thing attached to me,
but I'll take it.
I mean,
it's,
it's like the adult version of a little man syndrome.
But is Moxie,
what's the difference between like Moxie,
ORA,
and Swag?
You know,
it's like,
it's all kind of just branding,
isn't it?
I think Moxie's more,
it is branding.
Moxie might be more,
blue collar.
Ah.
Swag might be just like appearance.
But swag and aura is kind of similar.
I don't know.
There's something intangible,
about aura that I appreciate.
It's like you can't really describe it,
but you can feel it.
I can feel it right now, brother.
Let me tell you.
I get what you're saying, though.
Yeah.
I think you got moxie, aura, and swag.
Wow, I appreciate it.
Say it back.
Moxie or aura?
No, do I have moxie or aura or swag at all?
In your own way, absolutely.
I'll take it.
I'll take it.
Speaking of aura, I guess Moxie, I think, is more
appropriate for this conversation, but I feel like, you know, you've got a chip on your shoulder,
you know? You've heard that too, right? I'm sure. Like once or twice? Yeah. Is that chip getting
larger or smaller in year nine? It's probably bigger. Really? Yeah, both shoulders kind of hurt now.
That's just growing? It's just growing. A lot of activation cuff work on the shoulders to get them
prep for it. Yeah. Just to grow that chip as big as possible. Yeah. I mean, the chip on the shoulder,
though, I think, like, as corny as it sounds, like, if you, if you don't, if you don't,
don't have it at this level of football and you're just, I feel like you're kind of just going
to the motions. Yeah. You should have an edge. Yeah. It's like every, I feel like every single day you're
trying to earn your spot and keep your spot. So, you know, I'll take the chips as they stack.
I mean, I'm fucking around with you a little bit and we're friends and all that, but it's, I mean,
it's true. I agree with you, man. If you're not, you know, if you don't have some shit to you,
if you're not physical, if you're not, you know, try, Brian, everything you can, you know,
taking, you know, taking slights at different things and, and, you know, using everything
you can as motivation, like you're not really doing it the right way.
I think obviously I'm not the most physically gifted person.
It wasn't built in the lab like some of these guys.
So you got to figure it out somehow.
Yeah.
I think you're getting it done pretty well, man.
I mean, you have shit to you, man.
Like, you're the kind of quarterback I love because, you know, you're not,
and I mean this in the most respectful way of possible, like you're not the most polished guy.
Like you wear your heart on your sleeve.
And I think that's something that, you know, fans appreciate,
players appreciate, your teammates appreciate it.
But is it kind of always been that way or is that something that kind of,
you know, progressed as your journey through the NFL for gross.
I mean, it's, it's somewhat always been like that.
But being confident and, like, actually showing that consistently has definitely grown.
Yeah.
I think, especially at this level, like, just though, like, anything you say in the media is going to get blown up and they can clip one little saying,
and unless you watch a full interview, you might not know the context.
We're hoping to do that today, actually.
We're about to get in the contract stuff, so let's, let's do it.
Roxanne
Rocksand
kidding Mike my goodness
Relax brother
But yeah
It's like
Especially like the locker room changes each and every year
So I think everybody's gonna have a prior
Notion or like
Ideas about who you are as a person
Before they get in a locker room with you
And so I think if you can be consistent
With what you put out there
And it's not to say that you can't have like
You know like the politician answers
Sometimes in the media
And you know
behind closed doors with your locker room guys like be real with them but um i just i've always been
one to believe that like okay i'm gonna put out the message this is what we're doing this is what i'm
about and if i'm and like by doing that i'm trying to create accountability for others for myself like
if i stray out of line with that like they can they can help me out and find that path again but also
just making sure that we're on the same same page yeah but also i mean the thing i respect about you
is the way you know you play as well is kind of the same kind of thing and i have so much respect
for your toughness, your physicality, and, you know, I feel like if you're one of your teammates,
how can you not like, if you're an O-Lyman, how can you not love it when you truck a guy and then
throw the ball at him and talk shit after, you know?
How important is that as part of your game?
Just the physicality and like willingness to run the ball and stick your head into people
and all in that kind of thing.
I mean, like that's, for me, I've always looked at it, like not a self-suck here, but getting
drafted first overall.
I wasn't as talented as Lamar, Josh Allen, Sam Darnold.
but I had the intangibles when it came to like elevating the guys around me leadership qualities.
Yeah.
And so that's like part of that is the reason why.
It's like how can I motivate my guys?
And that's going the extra mile for them, making some of those plays, being physical with it,
and talking shit to where it gets the guys going.
So whatever I can do to elevate the guys around me and sometimes it looks different,
but a lot of it comes back to being just a run in your mouth, little quarterback.
Yeah. I mean, you got to be true to yourself.
man, I think that's just how you are.
It's not manufactured, you know?
No, no.
I guess I did want to ask you, though, like, I love when you talk shit.
I think it's great.
Do you put any prep into that before?
Like, you're researching guys or anything?
Or is it just off the cuff always?
It's off the cuff, but I think now it's about time to start elevate in the game.
Okay.
Some Jalen Rose, you know, do some research.
Maybe make a burner Twitter account or something.
Probably stay away from that.
Okay.
I feel like people can, you know, trace the IP address back to someone.
But yeah, maybe make an upgrade.
It's the next step in my journey there.
Yeah.
Crash talk.
Okay.
I'll check in.
I'll check back in with you on that.
All right.
So let's talk some actual football here.
We just got done talking with Chris Godwin.
I played with Chris.
I think he is an incredible guy, an incredible football player.
You know, we were just talking about physicality.
I think he is the way he plays the game with physicality like that.
Yeah.
That was just brutal.
He's just physical as fuck.
He tries hard as hell.
And I love him.
Like, what have you kind of say?
seen out of him in camp so far. Yeah, I mean, it's just, first and foremost, it's awesome to see Chris
feeling good and healthy. Yeah. You know, you had a rough couple years there, some major injuries
back to back, and just the confidence he has in himself, you can see that, and just the way he plays.
But, yeah, the respect level that I have for him through the roof, just he's a pros, pro.
Everything he does is physical. He does it the right way, just prep-wise, taking care of his body.
But he'll do all the dirty work for us. And that's something as a receiver.
of his caliber that, you know, having Mike here for so long, his whole career,
that, you know, some of that gets overshadowed, but he's done everything and is willing to do
anything to help the team. And sometimes, you know, like, within his routes and stuff,
like, he's never going to be the guy that's going to burn you over the top. He's not,
he's not a speedy guy, but you can have guys draped all over him.
Yeah.
He is so strong. His balance is unbelievable, strong-ass hands.
And just he understands how to win on leverage and positioning when he's running routes.
Yeah, it's really the dirty work in the run game that, like, that separates him.
That's why I respect the hell out of him.
He's like a noseguard's wide receiver.
You know what I mean?
I'll never forget in 2019.
I was just in awe, like, watching him line up in that Bruce Ariens, like, power slot or whatever you want to call it.
And, like, just how many catches he had and, like, I love Chris, man.
He's the best.
Yeah.
It was fun talking with him, too, about just, you know, some of the youth you guys have on offense.
And, you know, the example he's setting in your wide receiver room.
Do you see him kind of coaching up, like, you see a lot of the Chris Godwin's
game and, you know, some of those other young wide receivers.
Yeah, you can definitely tell that, like, Chris, like, obviously, you know him.
So cerebral, so smart.
His recognition of coverages and what the defense is doing is next level.
And sometimes that comes with time, but he also just has that innate nature, like, within
him to recognize it quickly and adapt to it.
But he is always trying to help out the young guys.
He is always trying to take things that he's gone through, experience, what he knows,
and trying to help out the young guys.
And that's something that's rare for.
for a position that, you know, a lot of the times gets stigmatized as a selfish position.
But that's not what we have here.
And Chris does a unbelievable job of that.
One thing I've learned since retiring is you've got to take care of your body.
I'm down here in Tampa Bay.
I'm sweaty.
I'm hot.
I'm feeling dehydrated.
Thankfully, our lovely sponsor, Create, sent us out some creatine and electrolyte combos in their new lemonade flavor.
It's perfect for summer.
It's incredible.
I'm recovered.
I'm hydrated.
My skin is glowing.
my brain is feeling creotined out.
It's a lovely, lovely thing.
Thanks, great.

What have you seen out of some of those other young guys?
The MVP, Taz, how's he looking?
I love Taz.
Yeah, we got to get Taz back and healthy on the field.
But the difference it is when we have him and J.MAC on the field, when it comes to being
able to stretch a defense vertically, it opens it up for MEC and Chris underneath quite a bit.
But, yeah, Taz is kind of a game changer.
J-MAC, I think, had an unbelievable off-season training-wise with him
pretty much every day in the off-season.
Really excited for him.
He looked really good going into the last year and then got hurt in the last preseason game,
so that that was very unfortunate.
And then, Mac, just looking for a big jump from year one to year two with him.
We asked him, he's another guy that's really similar to Chris.
So smart.
I think we took advantage of that last year when he was a rookie.
He asked him to do way too much.
So I think just getting him comfortable in his position playing Z
and understanding that if he can do that,
he's going to take a huge jump.
And then, I mean, you add in a guy like Ted Hurst,
who big body guy,
kind of looks like a young baby giraffe running around there a little bit,
but just high points the ball, physical.
And so I'm really excited about that room in general.
And then you've got some role players behind that
that have experience and kind of thrown into the fire.
So, yeah, excited about the receiver room.
Yeah, and then obviously a little bit of a new look on offense.
that doesn't seem like anything out of the ordinator for you, though.
This is what, your ninth?
I was counting it up before this.
This is your ninth coordinator in nine years?
Is that?
11th.
Is your 11th coordinator in nine years?
11th with people that have been fired in the middle of the season?
Well, yeah, I guess that's, yeah.
Yeah, a little different.
You've got some familiarity with Zach Robinson as well.
You guys had a little bit of carryover during your time in L.A. with the Rams, right?
Yeah.
So he was a QB coach there, my little cop of coffee.
for five games out there.
Yeah.
But yeah, Zach,
Zach's great.
That's when you're out there for like literally,
they signed you and then you won the game.
They signed you on like, what, a Thursday?
Wednesday or Thursday.
Yeah, got there Tuesday night and played Thursday.
Just blast.
That's kind of nice, though,
because you're just like.
There's no expectations.
Zero expectations.
Like, why is he even out there actually?
But, yeah, no, zero's great.
I just think, you know,
last year we couldn't run the ball nearly as well.
We were top five in the league and rushing 24.
Then you back up into somewhere in the 20s.
last year and you can't win in this league
unless you can run the ball. And Zach understands
that. I think his knowledge and having
prior experience calling the plays
is really going to help out
and just keeping our guys up front
healthy. It starts there.
None of them played a snap together.
All five of those guys are starting offensive
line, didn't play a snap together
once last year. So kind of an uphill
battle, but you know you add in Zach's
run game emphasis on some of the zone
stuff and then mixing the gap
pullers and whatnot.
and then just, yeah, sprinkling our skill guys.
And it's going to be fun to see what this offense really becomes.
Yeah, I mean, I'm excited to see it too, especially like with Bucky, healthy and, you know,
gain well, big addition.
And then, you know, he talked a little bit about the big boys up front, how banged up they were last year.
Like, there's no one that I have, there's no one that I'm more in awe of at times than Tristan worse, man.
It's unbelievable.
Like, I think I told you this is somewhere when we were hanging out, but like, I'll never forget we were training.
It was COVID, so we were training over at Skyway.
and I saw Tristan
I was on my way to New England
He just got drafted
I saw him move around for five minutes
I was like this motherfucker is gonna be
Ten years all pro
Like just how bubbly and explosive he is
And then he's also just a great guy
Unbelievable you know
Like one of my best friends
But yeah somebody that like
You look at him
You're like human beings one
Aren't supposed to be built like that
And they definitely aren't supposed to be able to move
If you're built like that
Right
And he's just he's one of one
I mean there's the reason
that he's the only player in NFL history
to be an all pro at right and left tackle.
I mean, kudos to him for working his tail off.
But yeah, he does some things
and he's capable of doing some things that just like,
you're like, oh my gosh.
You almost take it for granted.
He does everything the right way.
Yeah, and then I haven't really
met Luke Gedicke and a lot,
but I've heard he's a big meathead.
And Tristan's like, you would love Gettke.
You would love Luke. He said,
Tristan's like, he's the strongest guy that I've ever known.
I'm like, yeah, bro, I'm right here.
What the fuck, man?
on. And it's also crazy coming from Tristan because I saw him hang clean 455 three times like it was
nothing. That's insane. So but would you say like, you know, personality wise are Tristan and Luke
pretty similar? Are they kind of opposite? No, they're very opposite. I mean, Luke is
first and foremost, he has zero inside voice. You will know exactly what Luke is thinking and how he
feels about you, whether you're in the conversation or not in the conversation. He's so funny to me.
but just an absolute meathead.
You're right.
When we were last week, we were in Jersey, practicing against the Jets,
and none of the starters are playing.
So the day before the game, we're sitting there.
Guys are talking about, like, hey, what are you going to do?
Some guys are going on the Yankee game,
kind of bouncing around during the middle of the day
before we have night meetings and whatnot.
And Luke decides to go to a local gym
and comes back in, like, I mean, what do you call those little?
A stringer?
A stringer.
Yeah.
Yes.
From the gym.
Hell yeah.
And he was, yeah, they just gave it to me.
And then, like, you hear the conversations he has with the strength coaches after.
He's like, we got to get those machines.
Those are awesome.
You see this pump.
So, yeah, Luke's a meathead.
But, like, you'll watch him.
The thing that I, saying all that about him being a meathead,
there is nobody that's more critical of, like, the little details in his passets and his footwork in the run game than Luke.
Like, he is constantly watching film on his feet.
phone on his iPad. Like you're sitting there and lunch during training camp like kind of like
camaraderie time. Yeah. And Luke's just dialed it on his phone watching, watching film.
You just can't clock out. No, there's zero clock out. He's, uh, he's, he's got tunnel vision.
Yeah. And then I want to ask you too, I mean, there's always such a good relationship between a
center and a quarterback, you know, you've got your hand up his ass all day. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sure that's a
pleasure with the guy like Graham Barton, who I think is a, you know, really good young players.
Yeah. He's got, to me, I think, you know, really athletic and,
kind of you know I think he has the ability to play other places on the offensive line as well
but how have you kind of seen him progress over the last couple years his rookie year in 24
I mean coming in and starting at center when you have a bunch of experience guys around you can be nerve-wracking
and he is I mean as as you know any offensive lineman is wound up so tight like their
their biggest fear is failing and like being the guy that gives up a sack or as a hold and so
they're just so overcritical of themselves and Graham has wound up so tight
So he's kind of finally, like, at this stage in his career, going into year three, similar system, like really building that confidence and you can see it.
And, I mean, you said it.
He's athletic.
Like, last year, first three games, he started at left tackle.
And, like, that's not an easy thing to do for a year two guy to go from center to left tackle back to center.
And so, but yeah, a guy that's just as the more confidence, the more reps he gets, the better he's going to get.
And we still treat him like a rookie, which is the best part.
I like that guy.
You know I'm a defensive guy, Bay.
Can we just spend a lot of time gassing up your offensive teammates and buddies and stuff like that?
But I know you guys did joint practice last week with the Jets up in Jersey.
But I want to, so you have seen some other opponents, but what do you think of the Todd Bulls defense?
Are you getting a little sick of these exotic blitzes and some of the chaos that he can create?
That was the most enjoyable thing was like after practicing against the Jets, we'd get back.
before we to watch our tape, we'd buzz through the defensive tape.
Just like watching them try and figure out where the pressure is coming from.
It's like, ha, it's not my problem today.
But yeah, it's frustrating in training camp when you're, like, trying to get your installs down.
But then after you get through your installs and you start to, like, truly, like, treat it, like, game prep and your adjustments and whatnot.
But it's, it's a lot.
It's a lot for any quarterback to see and have to adjust to and get the calls right, get the protection the right way.
But it's, I tell you what, man, this, the front that we have now is, it looks.
different. Yeah. It's it's way different than this is year four for me here than the last three
years and it's it's impressive. What about it just kind of the makeup that the players and yeah
you know kind of the new pieces like Alex Anzolone and Ruben bain and stuff like that I mean for sure
I think bane first and foremost is going to be a monster and then the hidden gym that we were
excited about in training camp last year is David Walker unfortunately towards ACL but now he looks
looks really good he's an explosive guy off the edge obviously
So you got Yaya, you're bringing a guy like Mo from Detroit who had 11 sacks last year.
And you're talking about the edge rushers for those guys.
Like that's a pretty good, that's good depth right there.
And that's not even to mention the interior guys that we have.
Elijah Roberts is going to take the next step for him.
Colliger Canty is a freak.
He is twitched up.
That's a dude that I can't relate to as a former nose guy.
Because I like, watch him do things.
I'm like, that's not, that wasn't my game, buddy.
He's so quick.
Yeah.
Like, it's, even like, if you're in quick game, if he'll set up his out.
outside move and get you inside.
I mean, it's just, he does some things that are so nasty.
Yeah.
And then, I mean, Vita hadn't even been out there yet.
So it's like, you think about that front alone is, is impressive.
And that it allows guys like Anzolone, Servassier and Trotter, who is like, we needed a guy like that.
Yeah.
He's an asshole and I love it.
Really?
Yeah.
And I mean, I forgot about Nacho and Aishon up front too.
So it's like, it impressive.
like improvement up front with the players and then also just culture-wise.
They're not going to take any shit.
And that's, we needed that.
And so there's upgrades there.
And it allows guys in the back end to play free.
Like this is going to help Antoine play like Antoine Winfield and like roam around,
be around the ball.
And so I'm excited about it.
I mean, I appreciate it, man.
Like you have so much love for every guy on your team.
And like it's just fun to hear you fucking gas them up and talk about, especially the defensive guys.
because, you know, you've been competing against them in camp this week.
So it's cool.
All right, I want to talk to you about a couple of things.
So Maddie was watching a quarterback show a little bit.
I was watching some clips.
What was that experience like?
Was it invasive?
Like, did you love it?
Did you kind of get a little sick of it, you know?
It really couldn't bad.
Like, as you know, there's cameras.
There's somebody miced up on game days always.
Yeah.
So to be miced up on game days,
that part wasn't bad at all.
I mean, once a week of practice,
it is what it is.
Like, knowing that, all right, here it is.
But, like, you kind of forget about it.
Yeah.
You just treat you, like, you're so worried about prepping
and going through what your installs for that week,
what your opponent's doing.
Really more so, I think it was harder on, like,
Emily and my friends would be in from out of town.
Yeah.
Like, they would have the cameras up in the suites.
I think, you know,
because I'm just used to cameras being around and all that.
Right.
I think it's more so for the people that,
aren't used to that, that it's harder on them.
And then just outside of the building, like the interviews,
you do like four or five sit-down interviews
just to kind of recap and segment it that way.
Honestly, not a bad experience.
And for me, that I wanted to portray that I'm all about ball.
And this is, you know, on the field, I am who I am off the field.
It's different, you know.
And that's just who I am all the time.
And love it or hate it.
That's just me.
You don't have to love me.
I don't care.
I love you, Baker.
I appreciate it, but I love you too.
But, yeah, it wouldn't a bad experience at all.
I enjoyed it.
I think it turned out well.
Yeah, I was wondering, yeah, so it sounds like there wasn't really anything that you weren't, you know, you were totally fine with everything out there.
I wasn't sure if it was, it was a little too invasive and something, you know, that you weren't too thrilled about.
No, there was, there was a few trash talk clips that I definitely cut out.
Got it.
That, you know, you don't want some of those things out there.
They gave you final edit.
Yeah, just to just the final approval, just to make sure.
Yeah. I'm sure the lost files for quarterback's got to be kind of exciting.
Especially that. And, like, my rookie year, we did, we had hard knocks.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
And there is so much footage, just hours and hours.
Like, I don't know where that goes.
Yeah. In the vault.
It's in the cloud. It's in the cloud.
It's in the cloud.
It's in the cloud. Yeah.
So looking ahead a little bit to the season, feels probably like it's pretty far away at this point in camp, right?
It needs to hurry up.
Yeah, right?
wondering if there's any
games you got circled on your calendar.
I know you've been kind of around the NFL a little bit,
bake any of those?
A little journey man.
Yeah.
Yeah, first home games, Cleveland.
I mean, there's no way to sugarcoat that one.
That one means a lot.
For it to be the first home game, I think, also is exciting.
Yeah.
For the new look team that we have,
obviously you lose a guy like Mike on offense,
a guy like Levanté that have been cornerstones and staples
for this franchise for over a decade.
So going on the road playing Sensee Week 1 is going to be fun.
I feel like I always feel comfortable playing at Cincinnati.
And then coming back home with Cleveland Week 2 is exciting.
Yeah, good matchups throughout the whole year, honestly.
And Sunday night in Chicago, I think, is one that I haven't played at Chicago yet.
One that, like, historically being a football fan, you look forward to going to Soldier Field.
Soldier Field feels a little different, man.
Like, the grass is a little longer.
It feels kind of like historic.
It doesn't feel like one of those manufacturing stadiums, you know?
Yeah.
That's kind of how I felt my first time in Lambo.
You know, they have that sideline angle where you're like, what the fuck is this?
They finally fix that.
It looked like the dad was filming from the sideline.
Exactly.
I kind of love that, though.
Like, you get so used to seeing the end zone and the sideline copy, and then you're like, what the fuck?
Is this from the 15th row?
Yeah, exactly.
But I want to ask you if you have any thoughts on some of the uniform.
I did a little, I do a lot of research before these interviews bake.
I know you guys are wearing week 15 against the Saints, some new pewter uniforms.
New pewter?
Some pewter uniforms, yeah
I like the pewter
I never wore those
You didn't?
No
We wore them in 23
We wore the white a lot
When I was playing for the bucks
And that was not a good look
For me
You don't like looking like marshmallow
Dude I looked so fat
The big guys hate
The white throwback jerseys
Yeah
And we had the digital numbers
At that point too
It was
Probably the worst look I've ever had
There's been an upgrade
For the bucks jerseys for sure
The cream skulls I mean
Are electric
And the fans love them too.
I mean, yeah, I love them.
The 76 cream skulls, I saw a little retro commercial that you did.
We're so back.
We're so back.
The bell bottom jeans on there.
Yeah.
That was sick.
That was fucking tight.
I did know how I felt about it at first, but.
You kind of looked like the, remember when you did the undercover thing?
Yeah, it looked like Gus Swayze.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think that's a good vibe for you.
Gus Sway with a nice haircut.
Yeah.
A little put together.
A pack of darts in the, like, in the shoulder sleeve.
In the shoulder sleeve, but we're still ready for an interview at that point.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Got to keep it together.
This question is brought to you by zone.
Zone question of the day, Baker.
Are UFOs real?
Yes.
I saw one.
When here was this?
I got absolute shit on for this, by the way.
This is a safe space.
Either 2020 or 21.
Me and Emily were driving back from dinner in Austin, and we were crossing over a bridge that, like, right by the dam,
separates Lake Travis and Lake Austin.
pitch black outside, Emily's shotgun
looking at her phone
and like so you could see that bright light
on her phone but then all of a sudden
like off in the distance this giant
bulb of light was like just
absolutely like tweaking out in the sky
and then just like zooms off
and I immediately
when we got home tweeted out
just saw a UFO hoping somebody was going to be like
yeah bro saw it too yeah
everybody's like oh he's hammered
he's like no
coming home from dinner
driving home, it's being safe, saw the UFO,
and then now it's coming out, they're like, yeah, I'm not crazy.
I mean, I believe you.
I want apologies from everybody.
Yeah, well, like, what kind of UFO was, how big was this?
It was off in the distance, so, I mean, it looked like it was a big sucker.
Fast moving?
Fast, fast.
Did you feel...
Could change on a dime.
Really?
Oh, yeah.
Huh.
Did you feel safe?
Were you alarmed?
Did you feel threatened by the UFO?
I felt safe with the distance.
Oh, yeah, the other thing, like, it was so bright in the sky.
Like, Emily, staring at her phone, you know, like, when you're trying your phone,
it's, like, really got to be something to grab your attention off of that at night.
She saw it, too.
She saw the UFO.
Yeah.
So it wasn't just me.
Aliens are real.
You heard it from Baker Mayfield.
You heard of here first.
Wow.
You think these aliens are Bucks fans?
I'd hope so.
Yeah, me too.
I hope so.
All right, well, bake.
Appreciate you, man.
Appreciate you, Bill.
Thanks for coming on.
on.
