You don't have to call him the best player on the planet, but he's a fucking unicorn.
That guy is a show.
This NFL stuff, you can't make it up.
Pretty good stuff, isn't it?
Yeah, I think it's got a chance.
Yeah, it could be successful.
We'll have to see, though.
Hey, pop quiz, who's playing in the ALCS?
What?
Should we just start with the game?
Chris, what a game last night, man.
In the words of Chris Collins with that.
This NFL stuff, you can't make it up.
Pretty good stuff, isn't it?
Yeah, I think it's got a chance this league.
Yeah, it could be successful.
We'll have to see, though, you know.
Dude, so one, one day a week, Whalen and Luke get a game,
mostly whaling because Luke the whole time just does something else entirely.
But I'm just, I'm just imagining Luke doing like TikTok flossing, like TikTok dances.
He's doing anything he can other than watching the game.
But they get to pick one prime time game a week.
So naturally, they picked this game to be able to stay up for it.
And they had carte blanche to stay up until the end of the game.
And at halftime, Whalen gets off the beamback and is like, let's go, Luke.
This game sucks.
Wow.
And he went upstairs and went to bed, dude.
I hope he rubbed his face in a little bit this morning.
Oh, he missed.
He missed.
I mean, all he cares about his fantasy team for the most part.
he's not gambling on the games no he didn't have any props but i went five and one in props last
night oh so it was a very good night you had to know coming in that it was a it was a you remember
the dallas you don't remember this but two thousand twenty three maybe do you remember the dallas
game keep it coming i might come back buffalo host dallas and they run for 200 yards and they
throw the ball 15 times.
Yeah.
That's what this game was going to be, you know, the whole time.
It was going to be, hey, we're going to pound the football and try to get out of here.
And honestly, the thing that shocked me was the Rams tried to park the bus a little bit
and keep the bills with Keon Coleman, Trent Sherfield, Khalil Shakir, and who's the other
receiver?
the rebel
outside.
They try to keep that
Skylar Bell, bro?
Yeah, who doesn't have a catch
in the NFL and McVeigh was like,
yeah, we're going to park the bus and limit
possessions.
So I guess the first thing I'll
say is
Josh Allen played like Dogwater in the first half.
You throw in the football.
I'll get into that in a minute.
But 9.30 at night.
I know there was
going to be 930s around when halftime.
happened. There were going to be one of two narratives. The one would have been if the bills won,
it was Josh Allen carried once again by a prolific running offense and he can't throw the ball.
And if they found a way to lose, and it wouldn't matter how it was going to be another choke job by
Josh Allen. Instead in the second half, eight for 12 for 150 and runs for 100 yards in the second
half alone. And I know when Meevis lined up to to take that kick, the vultures were going to let
those takes fly no matter what, Bo. But the truth is, Alan and the bills put their team in
position to win not once, not twice, but three times, end of regulation, overtime once,
overtime twice. He did it with Shakir. He did it with Coleman, Skyler, motherfucking bell,
Trent Sherfield, who's on the practice squad, probably living in an extended stay hotel.
and it took 37 points to win the game.
He led the team in rushing.
So those spicy tweets, everybody had in the drafts last night,
saving for the next loss.
You didn't have any spicy tweets dialed up, just ready to go?
No, I was getting ready to, I was getting ready to answer the call.
The call was going to be, hey, you never,
you never shit on Josh Allen in a loss when he doesn't play well.
And I was going to do it.
He was, I mean, you know, listen, they weren't going to throw the ball a lot in this
game. But the opportunities he had, the minute knocks doesn't come down with that ball in the end zone that's
right on the turf. And I think he could have. After that point, I think Josh was going for the home run.
You saw he had Kincaid, you know, on, I don't know if it was a wheel or something. You know, the third
down, I think Coleman is camped out at the sticks. Like, they got down there and I felt like Josh
and that offense, they wanted to go for the jugular and play from ahead, like a full score ahead.
and, you know, he misthrows.
You know, I get the sentiment on the arm punt thing,
and I knew that was going to drive people fucking crazy.
It was an arm pump, but it was a stupid arm punt,
and I'll tell you why.
I took a picture of the All-22 when he threw that ball.
If he just decides to tuck it and run it,
he's going to at least pick up five, six yards,
maybe the first down,
and he's going to force the Rams to use the timeout.
They're probably going to have their shot.
I understand them.
And Aikman and those.
guys couldn't figure out for the life of them why they weren't pressing in a two minute drill well
i don't think they wanted to give the ball back they ended up giving it back anyways the rams didn't
make them pay and then the second half was totally different opened up completely dude he uh he had a
fucking 108 yards off of scrambles so i like went back and watched all of them right so i'm like
the rams is not you know having rush lane integrity you got to think that that's a major point
emphasis for the D-line go to the game you know I mean if I mean if we were still playing
Chris I would have been on the fucking field just trying to push the pocket like spy the
quarterback you know but the one fucking uh the one he had in overtime all the like they were
all it was kind of a mixed bag as far as like his scrambles right like in the fourth quarter the big
one he had was the classic high rush from the edge with the uh you know the three tech going in
the B gap or like taking an inside boost the B gap's just wide open
you know and then the other one was a tango or a tom game on the inside
byron young is like right on his back at quarterback depth and dude josh split the he split
the uh the twist game the t t between the two you know the three tech and the nose guard like
perfect it was like great timing that was just an incredible play by him and then the the rams were
in man behind that so he had so much room to run um and then a couple of the other ones were actually
on play actions which i think that's actually really hard to do
um is to you know kind of have rush lane integrity on like a play action like that because you know
how it is you get those run looks for a second and then you got to convert and kind of just go fucking
you're converting quickly yeah you're you're you're fighting as a old d-line coach of ours said you're
fighting like two hoes in a cafeteria yeah and and and you know you said it though it's the big
spots i mean that third and five where it's 27 27 and they're backed up at this point if they don't
pick that up with how much time left to go in the game, like six minutes to go in the game,
that game's over. Like, they don't get it back. The magnitude of that third and five, and, you know,
they're in, I think they're in cover one hole, some version of cover one hole. So you got the safety
up top and you got Landman who played great in some, in some big spots, obviously. But when
Josh is in the open field with him, and I'm convinced on some of these looks, when they're emptied out,
and he's getting people into, I mean, there was one third down, I don't know if it was the third down,
but another scramble where he gets and checks him into protection alignment.
They block it up.
He beats the free runner and he takes off.
I'm convinced in a lot of these situations, he knows, hey, I'm taking off.
I'm going to hit my back foot and I'm going to take off.
And, yeah, Shula, not having a real spy it looked like in some of the situations.
Playing man coverage to me in this football game is like a Cardinal sin.
I just thought, hey, they took advantage of what they could.
And, you know, it's not always going to be pretty.
But damn, I understand if people don't think he's the best on the planet,
like that's an opinion, totally.
But if you're going to tell me you don't enjoy watching this motherfucker play football,
like I'm convinced it has nothing to do with football
because that guy is a show.
It's a circus.
that the second half and you go back to watch you all 22 the camera shook every time he took off
it's a road game for the bills there were a ton of buffalo fans in that stadium and the atmosphere
was incredible and just i mean like i thought joe brady i thought joe brady had some tough moments
as a head coach last night you know but but when you consider what they had outside losing your right
tackling a pinch. And when I say what they had outside, I'm not talking about like they,
they didn't have their number one wide receiver. Like, that's not a good group outside.
Now, I think Joe Brady called a really good game. And I think the screen game had a lot to do with it.
The Ty Johnson screen was super creative. I mean, like, they get the follow on the man coverage.
And so you know, Byron Young's got Ty Johnson, who Josh loves. And if you watch Bill's games,
he's always clutching these spots where you're having a hard time finding the wide receivers for whatever reason.
And they swing him out.
And of course, Byron is going to be fast to the flat with him.
You know, it doesn't look like an angle route.
And what happens is McGovern's got the time as they widened Byron Young to come out and kind of kick him out.
And it's – and they did it all night with numbers outside, little quick game stuff, screens.
the rub play, the pick play down on the goal line
was really well executed. I thought
the run game, they had,
they got whatever they wanted in the run game
really for most of the night. And honestly, both
teams kind of did. I'll say this.
I was surprised, and I know this is Shula's
thing a little bit, that they'll
match 11 personnel with dime.
But they're sitting
in 11 personnel
and Shula's sending
dime out, you know,
the boxes are light.
Yeah. And to me, that was especially
considering the wide receivers outside the amount of cover four they played the amount of of light
personnel that they stayed in is is a tip of the cap to what this passing game does to coordinators like
even with the receivers outside they were afraid of losing it in one play going back to the run game
real quick dude i'm i mean i think the bills the line is really good um and there's i mean that's not like
a fucking hot take or anything but it's a small thing that i really appreciate like dude they make their
outside zones look like boot so well. And then they have this like high arm technique. You know what I mean?
That they just, it's just really well coached. Like they're all kind of in sync really well. And their
footwork is, is, you know, just very tight and controlled. And like, those are the little things when
you watch O-Line play as a former D. Lyman that you always notice is like, you can tell that these guys,
like there's an emphasis on doing everything in tandem and in rhythm. And then they kind of also use that
high arm technique on a lot of their duos and inside zones too. Yeah.
Which to me is like really impressive.
That's a really hard thing to defend when you're two gaping, you know,
because you get that high arm and then you're just kind of walled off and you can't come back to your secondary gap.
So it's like small shit like that.
I mean, I like them a lot.
I'm hoping Spencer's not too banged up.
It's looked like a back.
I mean, I haven't heard anything about it today, but he's a fucking good player too.
And I think McGovern's a very good center.
So listen, I have seen signs of Dionne Dawkins and pass protection maybe slowing down a little bit coming on Earth a little bit.
You know, he's not a guy that's had to rely on technique much of his career.
And, like, I think sometimes when you, and I forget who I was talking about this with,
but sometimes when you play, you freestyle a lot throughout your career and, like, maybe, you know,
you get older.
If you're not a technician, it can be a little bit tough.
I don't think he's falling off the face of the earth or anything.
I think, to your point, it's a very good group, and they play well together.
I think, I think what you see it with the double teams,
into the second level.
And the way they team block things.
And what's amazing to me is not amazing maybe.
But Aaron Kromer was one of the best offensive line coaches in the league retired this
year.
And that they've been able to, I mean, like, they've been able to kind of stick the landing
on that thing.
So listen to the Rams, I just didn't understand their strategy.
And I understood the strategy in the first half was, hey, we're going to limit possessions.
this is going to be a crawling type game,
and this is where Josh gets frustrated,
you know, when he only has three real possessions and a half,
and then you give him the ball backed up under two minutes,
and they're not really trying to do anything,
and he does something fucking stupid like that.
You know, I understood what McVeigh was doing,
but I felt like Sean McVeigh could have whatever he wanted
through the passing game all night,
and really in the run game,
like they were getting doubles down on these guys inside for Buffalo,
they scrapped and they clawed and the whole thing and there's guys I want to shout out,
but they could have gone up and down the field all night.
And it felt like any time he targeted Pooka Nakuwa and any time the Bills played zone coverage,
which was a lot.
Matt Stafford was picking them apart and just making people choose.
And then later in the game, the in cuts came.
And it was ugly when you got Puka and Devante on backers and that sort of thing.
The Bill's defense is a structure fire.
And I like the variability and the coverages that they call.
And I think Leonard's doing the best he can.
But there are some issues on the back end.
And to me, the window's never going to get more open.
Josh isn't going to be 30 years old or whatever he is forever.
You have to make moves at the deadline if you're Brandon Bean this year.
It's got to be a safety.
It's got to be a backer.
Inside linebacker.
Yeah, safety.
yeah i because it because they're not that far off from being and honestly dude the front seven's
good defensively the front seven is fucking nice i mean russo's solid six sacks russo's playing
good at all right oh dion walker he's fucking good they missed uh dion walker's great he's super
unorthodox like he's like a refrigerator and he'll swim people sometimes and he'll get watched
but sometimes they'll all lay people.
Yeah.
Like a three tack on the guard.
It's very,
and then be able to get his hips back.
It's pretty nice.
But I,
you know,
like,
I don't think they're,
the bills,
no shit,
are going to have to score 30 points
to win a lot of games,
especially down the stretch.
I think they're good enough to do it
when they get DJ Moore back.
I mean,
I don't know that Josh Palmer's a real threat for them.
I don't know if,
you know,
I don't know if they,
here I am playing GM.
for the bills and I'm like yeah I want a wide receiver I want a linebacker I want a safety but they got
to do something to affect the balance of it because it's one thing to ask the quarterback to go out
and run for 100 yards and you know throw for 200 to that group one time on Monday night football
playing the Rams on the road but playoff games are going to take 30 points for this group unless
the defense gets better and CJ Gardner Johnson had a rough night last night yeah he's so
volatile, dude.
Yeah.
So I guess
all in all,
when you're talking about the bills,
they delivered.
And, you know,
it wasn't pretty early.
And I found this stat,
dude,
this kind of blew me away.
You share a stat with me
and then I'll share one with you.
That kind of blew me away a little bit.
This was last night when an East Coast team
travels to play West Coast teams in prime time,
the West Coast team is a flawless.
list 11 and 0 straight up and 10.0 and 1 against the spread in the last 11 instances. That's from
Action Network. The other one is that dogs have been winning outright in primetime games this
year. It's some incredible clip. But the whole thing there is like, that's a tough ask. You know,
like they lost the division game last week. They get on a plane. They go out to L.A.
They don't have guys outside up. They're going to have to score 30 plus points to win the game.
And they did.
You know, I thought it was a good win for them.
Yeah, a lot of hero play from Josh Allen.
All right, dude, this is the stat that I looked up.
James Cook has had 11 fumbles since the start of 2025.
That is the most in the NFL.
And no other back has had more than six.
And so, like, don't get me wrong.
Those were incredible peanut.
Like, it's crazy how some of the guys, like,
Landman's peanut punching.
those like in the box when he's squared up to tackle him he's like not even securing the tackle first
coming off a blocker and peanut punching him it's really impressive just the wherewithal to go for
the ball like that when you're you got fucking bodies and chaos flying around you in between the
tackle but i mean that's something that you got to be pretty concerned about if you're a bills fan right
joe brady's concerned about it i heard him talking about it today it doesn't sound like
james cook's going to have the latitude to be doing shit like this much anymore and he's such a
good back you know and he ran so hard last night he probably is going to get a
FedEx for a couple of lowering his head kind of deals because he was running hard.
So I, you know, I felt bad for the guys sitting there on the sideline looking like he was
about to cry at times.
Like, and I can't blame him.
Like, that has to be the worst seat you could occupy in American sports last night.
And, and, um, but dude, the look of pure joy and astonishment on his face when that kick
got blocked, like that, you know, that's all I want to do is win, you know, I know he's
probably still beating himself up and, you know, like, what can you say to the guy? I really don't
know. I never carried a ball for a living. Landman has gotten so good at doing that. Just an incredible
job by him twice. But, you know, they can't afford these. And you know, it's going to pop up again.
But if you're Joe Brady, you got to make a tough decision because Ray Davis, you know, Ty Johnson,
guys like that, they're not, they're not the backs that he is. Now, I think that, you know,
They can win games with a full deck outside and with James Cook taking less carries.
But it doesn't matter if he cut his carries in half.
He could still get you killed any play.
He's just got to take care of the football.
I felt bad for him in that spot.
And you know what?
Honestly, I would have felt, I would have felt bad for Josh had they lost another
overtime game where he put him in position to win multiple times.
You know, Stafford, he missed some fucking throws.
I didn't think he was perfect by any stretch to imagine it.
And if he hit Kieran Williams on that angle route before the field goal, it's a walkoff.
You know, there's throws that he missed last night.
And he hasn't played that well this year.
A ton of stats.
You know, and they're asking him to throw the ball a fuck ton.
I was going to say I felt bad for him, but I wouldn't have felt bad for them in a loss.
I felt bad for Sean McVeigh.
I feel bad for Sean McVeigh because the special teams is going to sink.
their season, if it hasn't already, I don't think their season sunk.
But this has been a longstanding issue for them.
And you've got to trace back to 2019 when bones, fossil walks.
Bones, like, he was one of the best special teams, coordinators in the league at the time.
And Dallas throws the bag at him and he leaves.
And they just haven't been able to find solid ground.
there in the last couple years they're 30 second in kick returns their 27th and
punt returns their 30th in punting they just cut the kicker today uh by the way i'm gonna need to
come back to that one his uh follows on i g are are so fucking horny it's unbelievable
really oh my god be this pull up polymarket football's account guys and i don't think it's i
I don't think it's AI.
I think it's IG.
And you have to see some of the follow.
But the point I'm making,
and we can revisit his personal time in a second.
Yeah.
It just,
they leave six points on the field with field goals.
It ends up being nine with the kicking game in totality.
It could have been more if the bills punch it in.
I think,
you know,
you can look at it from a standpoint of like,
well,
hire the right guy.
I know Bubba Ventron.
He's the right guy.
He's a good coach.
Their offensive field position,
not good to start drives all year,
26-yard line.
Opponents start on 32.
35.4 is the average starting field position last night for the bills.
Yeah, it's not good.
And Joe Cardona,
they bring him in.
He's a decorated special teams guy.
We know Joe.
We love Joe.
But it's kind of like they bought this expensive fucking car,
but it's missing a key part.
You know,
it's just, I don't know, I don't know what, I don't know what to liken it to, but it, it is the
special teams on this team is like, I didn't have a metaphor. I have it here in my notes.
It's like buying an expensive car that doesn't have and I left a long blank because I don't
know that you could ever buy a car. It's like buying an expensive car. It doesn't have like wheels.
Like rear rear rear mirrors or something.
Maybe. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Here's your, here's your, your Meevis Instagram thing.
He follows 5,000 people. This is real. This is all, it's all thirst traps.
Maybe that's the problem. We're calling him the thicker kicker, making fun of them. Maybe the guys, maybe the guys, maybe he's just a
courting too many ladies, you know. Maybe he's courting too many ladies. I think the thing that people are
thrown off about is that like kickers are generally like not considered to be horny.
And he certainly doesn't look like the type of guy that's walking into the supper club and
leaving with two thangs on his arm.
So I,
this actually makes me like him more.
It's going to help him in these trying times.
Well, Chris, I was thinking about this, right?
What's it like?
Is it like buying a beautiful house without the radon?
inspection and you buy the house you close on the house and there's fucking radon everywhere you know
maybe there's mold calling the special teams a cancer a can't carcinogen for the it's a it's a
carcinogen for the rams it is no i you know what we're gonna like as soon as we wrap we're
going to come up with the perfect analogy but chris no i was thinking about this because the special
teams have been dog shit right it was a huge issue last year they're fired their special
teams coach and i saw this stat which like i don't even like deviate
DOA doesn't mean a ton to me.
It's fucking defense adjusted value over average.
Basically just a generalized metric that, you know.
We know what DVOA is.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, I've studied the DVOA.
But anyway, they have a negative 15.3% special teams DVOA,
which would be the worst in the history of the NFL over full season.
And it's the 11th worst right now over five games since 1977.
That was a tweet from fucking.
I can't remember. It's unbelievable.
Or something. But like, dude, I'm thinking about this.
Like, why is it, what is it about the Rams where their special teams are just consistently
bad? Or like, is it not a priority during practice? Is it the way that they've kind of built
their roster? I think I suspect it's more roster-centric.
That's kind of what I was thinking too.
You know, I think, you know, it's, it's persisted through multiple coordinators.
Listen, the Rams are, no, I just was popping around earlier. I think they have,
$193 million in cap invested offensively and 102 defensively.
I think they're probably pretty top heavy.
I think mostly defensive players play special teams.
And so when you don't have great depth,
I think that shows up.
I would venture to guess that they don't have great depth.
I would say, hey, they're not playing their starters on special teams,
but I can remember Emmanuel Forbes running out of bounds against Denver
and getting a penalty this year that really hurt them.
So the Rams left the 23 draft with no kicker, punter, or long snapper on their roster.
So it's not, it just hasn't seemed to be a less knee priority.
And I bet McVeigh is pissed because he was, whether you think he was mad or not about the Simpson pick.
and I think at some point you're going to be happy the Simpson pick happened.
He's probably pissed that they don't have a kicker that's worth a shit or, you know,
like that type of thing.
I think this is something internally that's probably grinded his gears for a while.
Yeah.
And legitimately, Sean McVeigh looks like he's going to have a concession.
Bro, his presser last night after the game, I don't think I've ever seen him.
Like, he's an intense guy, you know, and he's very well spoken and he seems, you know,
he's always very well put together.
I don't think I've ever seen somebody, you know, him especially, keep such a close rain on his emotions while being clearly so frustrated and trying not to let it go.
Like he was pissed as fuck during that, man.
I was expecting him to just freak out at any moment.
No, he's not doing good.
Listen, the leading tower of Pisa, sure, in today's era, it's a, it's a tourist attraction.
It's an iconic place that people like to visit.
but when it was built, it was supposed to be a standard medieval bell tower and it had a single
fatal flaw.
And that, of course, was the unstable foundation built on soft clay and sand.
So do you think about things like that?
And now we're talking.
It's kind of like they got the leaning tower of PISA going on.
That was incredible.
You just, wow.
You just came up with that, huh?
No, I looked it up.
So, you know, it's just, you know, maybe.
maybe in 500 years
we're all going to say
man that's a pretty fucking cool
leaning tower of Pisa but right now
not cool
should have should have fucking called
1,800 dig. I got some
breaking news for you here Chris.
Yeah. Rams left tackle
I this isn't breaking news
by the way. Oh.
I seen it. And this is
the next thing. Yeah.
Your team is in such a
fucked up spot.
after that game where it's like, hey, listen, they're going to play the Cardinals. They're going
to the Raiders. They're going to host the Chargers. They're going to go to Washington. They're
going to go to Arizona. And then the buy week. They go 5 and 0. I put money on them going 5
and 0, depending on what the odds were. After the game, what you can't have is Alaric Jackson
punching Bradley Chubb. Got to be the dumbest fucking thing I've ever.
seen considering what's going on and I know Chubb put his finger in his face and people don't like having
the finger put in their face I watched the tape not super close between those two but towards the end of
the game I was watching very close there was a play before the kick where I think Parkinson came over
on a down block and poor Bradley Chubb I mean he he kind of gets driven into the turf by the both of
him and a lyric kind of lands on him and rolls over and I see a lyric turns his head and says
something slick to chub and chubb gets up and points at him and he's got his finger in his face
and the film cuts off that's all i know but like can you imagine what would lead you after game
to come over and say what i what i assume just reading body language was say it to me again
you know say it to me now yeah up said it again well there was also a time
I think it was the second quarter where there was a false start by good old Lerick Jackson.
And Chubb was talking a lot of shit kind of pointing at him, you know, like,
cladding at him.
Insigating.
But like that's pretty benign as far as shit talking goes, you know.
Yeah.
I mean, like this guy's a fucking head case.
He's always in trouble.
He was in trouble, you know, this offseason.
Yeah.
We don't need to tiptoe around the fact that he's had fucking issues with violence.
He's been been investigated by the NFL.
So I feel like that's a pretty big part.
of this, you know, to, I mean, it's not just, it's not just violence. There's also, you know,
um, accusations of sexual misconduct. So the guy seems to be a bit of a pinhead, um, which I'm
bringing that phrase back. I like it. Uh, yeah, no problem. It seemed a little bit forced,
but I feel like we're going to get more and more into it. Like, I like that. No, I mean,
like, honestly, I hadn't thought about it until right now, but like the thing that comes to mind is,
is, is it's pinhead behavior after a game like,
that to leave your starting quarterback without a left tackle for, you know, some,
some period of time.
Two, two games is a suspension.
So Queston Barry's a backup.
I mean, he's been in the NFL for a while, but still.
It's not good.
It's not good.
It's not good.
So, I mean, like, listen, it's nothing they can't overcome, but boy, does it fucking
suck.
I don't know what was said, but you got to keep your cool, especially considering what
just happened to your team.
So yeah, you know, do I think the Rams are going to be okay? Eventually, you know, do I think they can climb back in the division? Maybe not. But they're going to have to look at this next five games before the buy as like we got to be razor sharp and we can't drop a single game. You know, they can certainly lose a game. But like, wouldn't it be nice to be seven and three going into the buy? That's what they can do.
it's possible.
Defensively, they ran into,
they ran,
you don't have to call him the best player on the planet,
but he's a fucking unicorn.
Name another quarterback that can do that.
Lamar Jackson.
That's it.
That's it.
They're two unicorns, bro.
Yeah.
You know,
and,
and,
and I love watching them both play.
Unbelievable.
Made it so fun.
I,
I,
I had to laugh at multiple points last night.
It was like the most unbelievable football game.
And I say that once a week.
NFL's got a shot, dude.
Dude, it could be okay.
Could be something.
Maybe they should go international.
Maybe they should go international.
Chris, that's a good idea, man.
I love that.

How was London?
It was good.
It was a lot of fun, man.
It was exhausting.
Did a lot.
Saw a lot.
It a fucking bunch of fish and chips.
Saw a lot of the cool.
sites. How's that working on the getting back back home? How's the fish and chips?
Mariner. You know, I'm so fucking jet lag right now, dude. I'm just confused. And you seem like the
kind of guy. Like, I was expected to come out here if we talked about London and how I was over there.
And I complained about feeling jet lag. Like, I feel like you'd be the type of person to tell me like,
yeah, jet lag's not a thing. It's not an actual. No, dude. Jetleg. Like, honestly, I've gotten to this
age where if I have to get on a plane at all,
I don't want to do it.
Honestly, I don't want to do it.
And I'm telling you, I would have loved to have come to London.
And I was texting you about it for the better part of the last few months.
But I just, the thought of getting on an airplane for that long.
Brother.
With my market value where I'm not going to make enough money to, like,
to justify the plane ticket.
Oh, you're telling me.
What the fuck?
But you're young.
You don't have kids.
You can do whatever you want.
I was like, you know the meme of arrested development where it's fucking Joe?
He's like, I've made a huge mistake.
I was so anxious on the flight out there.
I sat down.
I was in this Virgin flight straight,
direct from Tampa at London actually.
So not terrible,
but it's 11 hours, bro.
Virgin International or whatever.
They put you guys all in the same plane?
Dude,
I had to fucking got my way out there,
baby.
They were all the same plane.
They put all you guys in the same plane.
They put all you guys.
All the virgins?
Yeah, I do you're saying.
Yeah.
Fucking pin that.
Uh,
I sat down as soon as the fucking plane doors closed.
I was like, God damn it.
Fuck.
You know what I mean?
You know that feeling we're like,
oh, I'm trapped down here now.
I can't go back.
I rolled off the flight after 11 hours,
met up with Kelsey,
and we went to like nine different fucking like London,
you know,
tourist attractions and historic sites and like chugged a beer at all of them.
I was like in the spin zone, dude.
I was like,
what day is it?
So you're going to take like a day to like kind of,
acclimatized. Dude, I went off the flight and literally met directly up with them for some awesome
garage beer content. You guys should check out. But that's, I mean, dude, it was, it was a lot of
stuff like that. I played in a rugby match, Chris. So we interviewed Joe Marler, who was a really
good rugby player. He played 17 years for like England's national team and he's a fucking great guy.
But we did some like content basically about like two guys who played football that never,
you know, don't know shit about rugby.
would they be able to play and I wasn't like this wasn't something I was supposed to do this wasn't
something I'd talk to Kelsey about we were just kind of together and he's like you should come
do this I was like yeah and then he goes all right well you're playing in the game tonight I was like
what what the fuck you're talking about is like yeah we got a game at at eight o'clock I'm like are you
are you fucking serious so we drive over there dude I have no cleats I borrow clothes from kel's
you ever had a dream where you're trying to put your uniform on you yeah you're like you're like
on the field and you're like piecing it together like oh shit i don't know the playbook i don't have
cleats my cleats aren't tied i don't know the rules yeah my helmet's not fitting what are the
yada yada yada that's exactly how i felt during this rugby thing i'm like looking at these dudes next to me
who are like really about that life because they're playing in like a men's rugby league just for the
love of the game you know and i'm like i don't even know the fucking rules of the sport so that was
a good dude some of the footage was unbelievable i'm just trying to
think about what it would feel like the next day. And that's how I can tell you're younger than me.
I mean, like, obviously you are. But bro, I woke up and squatted 600 pounds the next day.
I'm a fucking dog. But how is Kelsey? Well, Kelsey's kind of just a grizzly bear, dude.
Yeah, I mean, he was complaining a lot. It did look like he was standing around looking at the scrums more than
getting in the scrums. Well, that's the thing is like, we kept getting yelled at because when we first got out there,
you know, our blood was hot. We want to impress these guys. And also like, you know, they all wanted to be the one to
fucking murder us.
Yes.
Which I respect.
Like I would have done the same thing.
But then we were getting yelled at by the refs for like, you know, like, dude,
instinctually is defensive linemen.
You want to use your hands a lot on contact.
You know, it's just kind of what we're trained to do our whole lives.
And this ref was fucking screaming at me, bro.
And so I didn't really know in the ruck or whatever, like when the ball is live
and when I'm scrumage.
Yeah.
Dude.
See, like, but that's after.
Yeah.
The scrum is a very specific thing.
That's when I was like pushing.
I don't know.
That's when you like link up and you like drive.
It's a touch push.
Yeah, exactly.
Did they ask Kelsey about the tush push?
Like was that a topic from the rugby people?
They were definitely curious about that.
We went out after and got a pint and chopped it up with them.
The biggest question I got from these rugby guys, dude, was like about the hazing rituals
in the NFL because I guess that's a big thing in rugby.
And like, you know, European men are a little more open than American men, Chris.
In what way?
There's a different taboo around nudity, I guess, in Europe.
is what I'm getting at.
Oh, so they're just naked.
They were at, no, like, they were just asking me about all the, uh, kind of bizarre.
They, they're asking me about these specific hazing rituals that I had no idea about
they're like, you guys ever do Spider-Man fights in the NFL?
I'm like, what the fuck is that?
What is a Spider-Man fight and do I want to know?
You don't want to know, uh, but it involves two naked dudes hanging from the rafters of a bus.
Tell you that.
Yeah, that's, I mean, you know, I'm not interesting.
interested in that you can i mean somebody else can have my spot yeah i mean that's very
european i think okay i mean we had some i don't want i don't think you can talk about the hazing that
happened because i don't think we're past the statute of limitations on that becoming a thing
even in college so yeah we never had any hazing but the guys were cool though i mean like
the guys were awesome they were really good dudes and it was fun like they were really good sports
about us really not knowing how to do anything and uh
you know, really helpful in trying to, you know,
communicate with us and coach us up.
But the fucking,
the main guy looks like a street fire character.
It was.
Marler,
Marlowe looks like a street fighter character.
He is,
first of all,
he's an awesome guy.
He's,
you can tell he's been,
you know,
around,
like he,
he's just such a fucking,
a dude's dude.
Exactly, man.
Like could you not be?
Joking around and like,
you know,
he just met,
he just met me and was just,
giving us.
so much shit it was so much fun going back and forth with him man um he's 36 dude he's like
four feet wide it's insane yeah the the build is is that's what i say it looks like a video game
character yeah um like you could i could picture him in like you know fucking
middle earth yeah for sure like he's on the wall yeah exactly or he's like the battle of helms
deep just you look over and there's just joe marler right next to you he's like oh yeah i'll be
right. Did he have one of those like thick Patty the batty accents or does you have like a normal
uh his wasn't as bad as pat i mean patty's a fucking scouser dude like scouser what do what the
fuck does that mean means he's from liverpool man come on okay okay all right yeah i think joe
said he's from like south like brick briskston or something i can't remember so
fuck that i'm just jealous not of the rugby at all but like the the drinking the the the the
bars. I have not.
I've had one beer
since we were in Oklahoma City.
Dude, that's good. That's a good thing. One unit of alcohol.
What, what day, Cowboy, when were we in OKC?
That was like August 30th. Yeah, and August.
September. Well done. Oh, it's not that long. That's not that long at all. I better
hurry up before I forget how to do it. We need to plan something, Bob. I mean, the pub scene over
over there you'd like them man we're into the old pubs dude i want to go to old pubs yeah um
i think i might go to ls u bama really when is that in bad ruse november 7th
is that an invite or is that a statement or uh maybe a little bit of both but okay because i
it's somebody else's hookups you know like and i don't know what i have but if i get it i'm not cool
know if I understand that's not it it's just not you know it's not my it's not my hookups dude I can't
who you going with uh one of Ryan's guys hooks us up shout out to Hugh um so you know I keep
referring to a group of people as us I don't mean you and me yet I have to clear yet
but yeah that that that might be my next big big rager dude I I need a rager that
So anything else in London that was worth mentioning?
I did a lot.
I mean, the game itself was sweet.
I did a lot of like stuff with the Eagles organization and like while I was over there,
it's like, all right, I got a fucking fun this trip somehow.
But it was really cool.
Like I did, you know how it is, like an appearance.
And some of those things can be a little like, hey, you know, go birds.
But it was so cool to meet all the international.
Never getting hired again.
So cool to meet all the international fans.
Like I was honestly having great football discussions with like, you know, some German fans that knew more about my career like football or Eagles football especially than I ever thought possible.
And just kind of hearing like, dude, I met fans from, I don't know, Czech Republic, Norway, Amsterdam.
And Eagles fans.
Eagles fans, but also just football fans in general.
And then you kind of get to the bottom of like, why are you supporting the 49ers when you're from, you know.
Yeah.
what was the most interesting reason a lot of them were uh like like i met a saints fan who
was supporting the saints because that was the the saints was the name of their like local
soccer club you know right yeah that makes sense there was a lot of that kind of shit um but dude
it was just it was so impressive to me because they'll they'll stay up till two i am you know
watch the games and and research and consume everything and like really put a lot more effort i think
into understanding the game than
than some modern,
you know, some American fans.
And that was kind of wore my little cold at heart, you know?
I was like, ah, football is actually growing internationally.
I love it.
That's great.
I mean, like, you know, we don't need to play one out of the country every three days.
But it is cool, man.
All right.
Well, I mean, dude, one thing I enjoy.
Jaggs played the Texans this week and Sunday morning.
That's going to be a fun one.
Oh yeah, they're doing the double header, eh?
Yeah, hey.
How about that?
You texted me and you're like, you're like, I'm not going to lie, I am jealous,
but I hate flying.
And like, right when you said, like, I am jealous that you're at the game,
like, what are you doing?
I was sitting, showing with fucking Jay J.
Jai, dude.
Oh, yes, dude.
Bro.
It was so cool.
I just like, Jay.
We got to take a selfie and send it to Chris.
So he said that to Cal one.
Dude, he is the fucking coolest.
He's the coolest.
And, you know, when you got an accent like that,
you can pretty much say whatever and it's you're like all right that sounds fucking cool he's
sound fucking awesome we're i was catch up with him man he's telling me about his music career and like
all the stuff he's been up to it's just so fun of music guys yeah oh shit what's that shit on for me
i don't like you put it on for you and you don't know i don't fucking like it's it's not outlaw
country i'll tell you that man that's it's like kind of what you'd expect dude it's like some
I don't know.
Smooth jazz.
Cool.
One thing I've learned since retiring has been,
it's hard to keep your weight on.
Like it just,
we work so hard as NFL players.
I was training,
you know,
hours a day just to keep my strength up,
just to keep my muscle mass up to stay healthy.
I don't have that kind of time anymore.
I got three kids.
I got a couple jobs.
I just don't have that kind of time anymore.
And my body can't take the beach.
beating that he used to in the weight room so you know to get the same amount out of workouts i
used to to do at 2x intensity uh you need help and and for me create gummies have have been that
little boost uh you know i started taking create and i really never took creatine when i played
after i played i started taking it and the easy use obviously just being able to pop them in
um you know not have to mix uh powder in a shaker that sort of
thing which as you all know can be a pain oh where's my shaker i got no i got no clean shakers oh no
i got nothing to mix it with i got a i got to pack shakers on the road when i travel no i'm not
going to do that i got my gummies and uh and and i have noticed a big difference in the way i
recover um the the way i keep my muscle mass on uh i feel like at this point um and maybe this is just a
something I made up in my head,
but I feel like I'm,
I look as good as I looked when I played sometimes.
Like I'm almost 260 pounds.
That was like almost my playing weight,
and I'm leaner.
And certainly I don't think I could take on a pulling guard,
but I feel good.
Like nobody's looking at me at the beach
and being like, what the f happened to that guy?
Nah, not with create gummies.
They're like, oh, that guy still trains.
So definitely helps, like, keep the muscle mass on,
keeps you looking feeling good and uh as important as anything is the cognitive benefits um you know
so recovery cognitive benefits like keeping your muscle mess on the whole thing um and you know recovery
takes longer my 40s than I used to for sure especially in the summer uh when I'm depleted dehydrated
the whole thing I'm slamming water and I'm eating I'm eating create gummies um and so you know you think
about training camp, I kind of wish,
training camp time, I kind of wish I was taking
Create in training camp
back when I played.
But it helps me now doing
all the things I'm doing in retirement.
So better late than never.
I'm loving creatine and I'm loving
create gummies.
You got an America's team I heard.
I'll give you mine.
I got one at this point.
I got two.
Bill Belichick and the UNC Tar Heels
getting their first ranked win.
Shout out to my old coworker and boss.
Billy B.
He even smiled while whilst doing an interview.
It was like what the hell just happened.
But I am genuinely happy for Bill.
Just let Bill live his fucking life, everybody.
Let him live his life.
That's fucking coach of all time.
Yeah, dude.
I mean, I think he's earned it.
I'm with you on that one, Chris.
I got two Americans teams.
First one is
Chubbs chin.
Dude, he just fucking ate that punch.
Oh, yeah,
Chub's chin.
Chubb's chin.
His American's team.
Watch him just eat this fucking punch.
I know,
I know.
Hold on.
Ooh.
Didn't even...
Yeah, but it's more of a mush,
dude.
That happened to me.
Trent Williams did like,
he actually didn't hit me in the face.
He did two-hand mush
like to the chest plate neck.
neck. Yeah. I don't, I don't think that's, I think that's open-handed. I think it's open-hand. Is,
is that a jab? It seems like it. I don't know. I think it's a loose open hand.
It could be a jab, but if so, yeah, pretty impressive. Dude, did you see the-
person? Not real impressive from Alaric Jackson. No, not, not impressive from him. Like, dude, come on.
Did you see the interview Josh Allen was doing while this was going out? He was like, Massimenos.
So he was like mixing.
Oh, we got to break that up.
Oh, we got a Donnie Brooke over here.
It was, uh, it was funny as fuck, dude.
And it was so great, dude.
But also it was funny is like, if you look at that video, there are dudes like just
hands on hips watching that and don't even react.
I know.
Like the NFL is so fucked up, like from a behavior standpoint that like, watch this.
Watch the dudes in background.
Watch.
Oh, Igbenoson's just like, oh, did you see that?
Yeah, like, oh, wow.
Like Kitchens is like still on phasing off his shoulder.
Yeah, he's like, hold on, hold on.
I got to go shower.
I mean, dude, it is true, though.
Like, there's so much ridiculous shit happens.
You're kind of just like, oh, wow.
Anyway.
Anyways.
So that's my first, my first America's team.
A second America's team is international football fans.
Dude, I was talking about my experience.
and Lutton a little bit and meeting those fans of how cool that was.
I'm not joking when I'm telling you that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was one of the louder.
That was one of the louder games I've been to.
It was really fucking impressive, man.
And there was a series with Trevor Lawrence where there was all the delay games and everything like that.
Dude, the crowd noise was truly a factor.
And it was, I mean, even just going around the city and seeing like all the different jerseys,
like it does feel a little bit like a celebration of football, you know.
Yeah.
And it's cool.
You see fucking, I don't know, like throwback Troy Palomalo jersey.
It's Halloween, dude.
A little bit.
Yeah, exactly.
And then I was with Brian Westbrook because we were throwing fucking cheese steaks and stuff off of a double-decker bus.
And actually, dude, I got to show you this fucking clip.
This is hilarious, dude.
We saw a bunch of like Brian Westbrook, Westbrook jerseys, like old jerseys from people that are like truly throwbacks.
It was pretty fun, man.
So shout out to all those international fans, man.
they really love American football and it warms my heart like I was saying dude it's it's a good
thing Chris watch this dude this was funny I was throwing stuff off the bus to fangles fans
that's a good video I just nailed that lady in the head oh you did hit her in the head
right the dumb dude well they play soccer over there they don't really use their hands dude this
eagle's bar actually I forgot to mention this I wish I would have it was the coolest bar like I
there was a little meet and greet there and you know i was expected to be kind of an english pub
dude it was like an underground graffiti it looked like a it looked like a skate park from like
tony hawk pro skater too it was so fucking awesome dude i was there all kind of dope on saturday it was
really cool i'll send you a photo of that too yeah i've been just here doing the same things i always do
hey pop quiz who's playing in the alcs what baseball do no idea care do not know do not care do not
Did you see my squat tober video today, Chris?
I did not see your squat tober video.
I don't care about anybody doing masturbatory look.
I work out videos.
Bro.
That's what you got out of that?
Well, you know, I hate squat tober.
Like squat in silence, bro.
Real G's moving silence like lasagna, bro.
I do that.
That was coming.
Fuck.
Yeah.
I'm insecure, okay?
about now.
That's fair.
Yeah.
So now do you just...
I didn't see your IG video.
No.
