Green Light with Chris Long - Eagles Beat Patrick Mahomes & The Chiefs, Joe Burrow's Injury, + Lions = Back | NFL Week 2 Reactions

Episode Date: September 15, 2025

Chris, Beau and Nate react to the NFL's week 2 slate and the action around the league. The Philadelphia Eagles knock off Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead. Jalen Hurts and Saquon... Barkley weren't perfect but didn't need to be as the Eagles defense stood tall and delivered Mahomes his 3 straight loss dating back to last season. Joe Burrow went down against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will be out for a couple months with a turf toe injury so the Bengals will turn to Jake Browning. The Detroit Lions are back with a dominant win over Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. The New England Patriots got Mike Vrabel his first victory as Patriots HC, the Cowboys beat the Giants in a shootout, the Colts are a damn good football team and the Seahawks jumped Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers to get back to .500. We rip through those topics and more on our Monday Live Reactions episode! Starting point is 00:00:00 And if Browning's going to play. Brother, I know you sit next to Joe Burrow in meetings every day and watch him do things. But like the rules for he are not for thee. My brother in Christ, they're cheating. The tush push is 100% illegal. Looking at the rosters and looking at everything, it's like, you can see that Bill's Ravens game again. Those two teams are the class of the AFC right now. I want to shake your hand, Jeff Albrecht.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Welcome to the Green Light Podcast. NFL week two reactions coming at you from the fellas. Chris Bo and Nate rip around the NFL. Talk about Joe Burroughs injury and what that means for the Bengals. Can Jake Browning get them a couple wins so they stay competitive in the AFC North? Eagles and Chief Super Bowl rematch. The Eagles send Patrick Mahomes to his first three game losing streak. How about the Lions?
Starting point is 00:00:54 They're back. The Colts. Wagon. Freaking wagon. That offensive line will stop anybody. And the Falcons, a little bit of defense on Sunday night, huh? Talk about all that. and more give you a couple of liens on these Monday night matchups along with some
Starting point is 00:01:07 betmgm moments America's teams and the drippiest of the kings coming at you now listen we work long and hard to be ready for this show to give you guys as a team what we think is the the best football analysis that you can get on a moderately successful podcast like ours um and that involves some late nights watching ball uh and last Last night we were up late watching ball. And this is what it sounds like to sit and watch ball with myself Nolan and Reed at 10 p.m. at night after a full slate of week two football. By the way, this is the – I did the fat thumb thing where I hit a voice note last night, and this is what came up. I accidentally hit a voice note, and this is what it sounded like.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Send it to the group text. Do you ever just wonder how cooked your balls are from watching film on your lap? oh yeah probably totally just fucking Michael wave yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:02:33 I mean look at Reed he's getting it to the to the to the scrote right now to the cowboy
Starting point is 00:02:42 you ever think about how cooked your scrotum is from having the laptop on there for yeah
Starting point is 00:02:50 yeah it's done toast it I'm like sometimes I'm like sometimes I'm move it like to my knees. I can't see. I remember every once in a while and I do the same, but...
Starting point is 00:03:00 I need like a fucking, like a floating desk. Like that lies around the back of my head, dude. Dude, Emily... We're going to see to wear a cup. Yeah. Or like... I put up my laptop. Um, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:17 So anyways, that's kind of... That's kind of what it's like working with us. Mush-brain individuals at 10 p.m. Uh, full slate of games. have a left-handed cigarette and catch a field goal fest last night in uh in in minnesota that's probably where we will start you guys really at home should think about that though putting your laptop all over your twig and berries every day um whatever line of work you're in Nate's looking at me like what the fuck but you should look at it too what's that the radiation
Starting point is 00:03:49 coming off of your laptop bro I don't use a laptop oh you I like my life bag I like my balls. You got three kids, man. You got nothing to worry about it. No, I know. You know? Anyways, here we go. Let's talk about Sunday night football.
Starting point is 00:04:09 That is the first order of business. That game was a proper, I wouldn't even call it a rock fight. Do you know how hard it is for somebody like me to pick up on the fact? And I've been doing well. Shout out to making and it went five and I won the locks this week.
Starting point is 00:04:24 I think I went three and two. one more Jonathan Taylor dumped down would have been great I'm eight and two on the season and I'm dumb enough to look at the slate and say every under hit last week it's going to be all overs and the only over I give out
Starting point is 00:04:39 do you know how hard it is to pick the one game that actually went under yesterday seven fucking field goals so take a bow what's the guy's name Parker Romo worst seat first um first order of business giving out a worst seat in this game young way coup who's been a little bit embattled in Atlanta as a kicker and then parker romo comes out there meets Leonard floyd at the end of the
Starting point is 00:05:06 game he's like nice to meet you bro i just said like seven field goals on the kicker i seen that you know what but that's indicative that people don't realize it's just how players is it's a revolving door in the Like especially for the next like couple of weeks in organizations, it's a real revolving door. And you, you might see a guy like half a day, like because they bring kickers in. Like, and they might be in the locker room and they might go do a workout somewhere you don't even see them. And they might be on the team in a few hours or they might be on a flight back home. So all you got to do in the words of Matt Prater is swing your leg, bro. Just swing your leg.
Starting point is 00:05:45 So that was huge. I mean, him hitting those kicks was huge. You know, I give a best, best motorcycle ride to Jared Allen. That was six. A friend of the program, Jared Allen motorcycle in and do the Viking horn or whatever that is. But everything from that point was downhill for the Vikings. And so I think this game speaks to two things. The first is going to take some nuance and we'll get into it. It's talking about J.J. McCarthy because I don't think it's all him. I think he played poorly, but I don't think it's all him. And the second is, is a lot of this is about Atlanta getting better.
Starting point is 00:06:22 And we talked about that coming off that week one win. Remember I was talking to Ryan Clark last week because I do the little inside the NFL podcast now with him and Ocho. And he was like, I know you're high on the bucks. They kind of eat that one out. What do you make of that? And I'm like, well, I think Atlanta got better. I think Atlanta got better.
Starting point is 00:06:39 And that's the team that beat Tampa twice last year, go down to Atlanta and get that win. I think it speaks to how tough of an out this team is. And it starts with the defense. and Jeff Ulbrick, I want to shake your hand, Jeff Albrick. You have got these guys playing great, but let's start with J.J. McCarthy. We can finish with Atlanta and give them the praise this do. Fellas, are we panicking about J.J. McCarthy?
Starting point is 00:07:02 No. He didn't play that good, Chris, but you got to look at, dude, their O line is banged up. They had school go out halfway through. If you remember, he was on the box, and he, like, he's historically been a backup, all right? and he didn't look that good against the Falcons and their pass rush and stuff like that. But he got to, I think he left the game with a concussion like halfway through. They're out there with like, it feels like two or three guys. I think they're center left also who they got from the Colts, Ryan Kelly.
Starting point is 00:07:30 So they're out there with a, you know, essentially a rookie quarterback. This is the second game in the NFL. He was the NF, what is the NFC player the week last week, which felt like a little bit of a gimmee award. But he's played two NFL games and he's got a really banged up. up offensive line. He looks young and it's a tough situation to be in as a young player, man. Dude, I totally agree with you, Bo. I, you know, I don't want to bury the kid. Listen, you can tell when I'm high on a quarterback, right? Because I get giddy. Like, you know,
Starting point is 00:07:59 we're watching Cam Ward, a young quarterback. And like, I don't really care what the outcome looks like. I see the tools there. You know, we'll talk about Caleb Williams in a little bit. Like, I, I think he's, I think he's pretty toolsy. We'll talk about it. I mean, some people in here going to be a little bit down on him. I watch Pennix like, fuck, they scored like 22 points. They couldn't convert in the red zone. Like, but I think this Vikings team, we got lulled into a sense. They were a middling team.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Then they make a big jump last year. And everybody, you know, talks about a regression with teams that pop in out of nowhere to win 13 games. I got a lot of respect for the Vikings. I think the defense is fantastic when everybody's They were down Van Ginkle last night. The run game was the run game. That's Bejohn Robinson or Bejohn Robinson.
Starting point is 00:08:50 It's funny. They asked the kicker. I was like, you know him? And he's like, I know Bejohn Robinson. I'm like, you didn't fucking watch the 15 interviews from August. Did you change the way he pronounced his name? But I look at the Vikings offense. And when you are down Addison and you are a young quarterback, as good as Jefferson is,
Starting point is 00:09:08 and I don't want to sound assing I'm making this point, but you really got to bear with me. what kind of routes does Jefferson run? I asked you this earlier today. Intermediates. Intermediates. In breakers, digs, you know, seven cuts, those kinds of routes. Okay, so you need things to develop down the field. And JJ had time, but teams can do things to take away the number one receiver.
Starting point is 00:09:28 So then at that point, who is your underneath guy? Who is your guy for quick game? You know, it's almost like, and I think Jefferson's the best receiver in football, but I'd almost rather, in this current scenario, have a, j brown and i think jefferson's better but a j brown's going to catch a slant you know you're you're going to be able to hit him underneath he's going to be able to run with the football i didn't necessarily besides the protection issues which were terrible in some scenarios like on the lennar floyd sack i don't know what the fuck guys are doing like they're just piled up they're just blocking the same guy yeah um
Starting point is 00:10:04 they let 96 totally scot free yep for a sack um now i want to give credit to the the the Falcons defense, but my point is they look like an offense that's out of whack. And the number one thing is they could not run the ball last night. You know, I don't know what the final tally was for Minnesota, but if you're not going to be able to run the ball with this young quarterback, who I got, you know, some Vikings fans got pissed. They got a little, you got a little testy last week because I said Caleb might be more talented. And they were like, what do you mean more talented? What do you mean? I mean, like, watch the fucking tape, brother. The point I want to make is, 78 yards rushing. It went about four yards of pop.
Starting point is 00:10:41 But there were guys in the backfield all night. And if the offensive line can't play physical, then it's going to be hard on this young kid. He's got to be perfect when the opportunity arises. That's why when he misses that slot fade, everybody in America, including Chris Collins, oh, you got to hit that. We're all doing that.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Like, he's got to hit the slot fade. They're down 15-6 at that point. But when you go on a long-ass drive, you get in the red zone, you can't fumble the exchange. You can't take a sack, even though the, you know, school has become like respectfully, I'm talking about the player, like the village bicycle right now. Everybody wants a ride, dude.
Starting point is 00:11:24 And so, like, there are issues with that offense that are going to make it hard for this kid to look great out of the gate. Let's let him get Derosaw back. Right. Let's let him get, you know, Addison back. I'm not saying he looks great or I think he's going to be an elite quarterback in this league. never have thought that. But I do think that the truth lies somewhere in between when I watch this tape. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:11:47 Well, Chris, I think to your point, sorry to interrupt you there, Noel, but like you need an underneath option for him, right? Like you mentioned earlier. And I think a great one would be T.J. Hawkins. It would be, right? Yeah. You had one reception, 12 yards. You know, it felt like he hasn't really gotten back to prime form after that injury a couple
Starting point is 00:12:06 seasons ago. If you can get the run game going, though, If you're the Minnesota Vikings, that not only helps your young quarterback get comfortable, it can help you, like, hit some deep play action shots to J-J-J-J-F, which everybody wants, and you know it's going to happen eventually. But then also you can start to feed, like Thielen and Hawkinson and that kind of thing, and just get your offense in rhythm, which is really how K.O. wants to operate, but it starts with offensive line.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Like, it's so hard to run the ball when you have a banged-up O-line, and then your left tackle who's in because of an injury, he gets hurt, so then you're down to your third. Plus in the run game. Yeah, your center gets hurt. That's kind of your main communicator offensively when you have a rookie quarterback. Like, they just need to get a little bit healthy
Starting point is 00:12:50 and get into a rhythm. Run the fucking ball. Like, do those zones. Then those play actions are going to come to like Justin Jefferson and Hawk. And then we can get Thielen cooking and, you know, back in his home state of Minnesota. And I think, I mean, I think to me the injuries
Starting point is 00:13:04 is the biggest thing for the Vikings. We talked about it offensively, but defensively as well. Like you alluded to it earlier. the Falcons ran the fuck out of the ball. And they have a really good zone run game. Like I love Robinson, obviously, Algier, too. Like Michael Peddix has some juice in the run game, kind of.
Starting point is 00:13:23 But they, like, the Vikings are just missing guys at every single level, man. Like they, Cashman's hurt. Van Ginkle's hurt. Had a couple other guys go down. Like, they just got to get right, like, as a team. I think they'll be a lot better. And I don't want to, I don't want people to come away from this open and say, hey the guys at green light said that you know the Vikings lost the game because of injuries and
Starting point is 00:13:43 Atlanta's not that good like Atlanta fans are sitting here we're like we've been talking about this game for five minutes we haven't talked about Atlanta I think Atlanta is a better team like in a lot of ways right now and a lot of it is because I think the quarterback is so pro ready he plays like an adult I'm not saying JJ does it you know plays immature or anything like that but like pennix you watch a game plan last night he's peppering the numbers and outside the numbers they're staying away from the middle of the field they know exactly who they're they are in these fights. You know, and I think Ulbrick, I gave him some love.
Starting point is 00:14:12 They're playing more man. They hit on the two young defensive backs. You saw Bowman had a great pick. Now he's got to put that ball on the sideline, but Bowman made a great play, almost had another one. Watts, they say is like an all pro. It's a lot of pressure to put on a young kid, right? We talked about that.
Starting point is 00:14:26 But how about every young rusher getting a moment last night? James Pierce comes around on a game. By the way, 74, the rookie left guard from Ohio State from Minnesota. Jackson, Jackson. Jackson. He struggled with games. He struggled with sorting games.
Starting point is 00:14:40 You know, and then Pierce came up with some nice rushes. You know, Walker had a great rush in the red zone, dude. I think a lot of people thought you'd wait to see him win a clean one-on-one until like halfway through the season because there was a sense that like it was almost like a year where not a redshirt year, but they were going to, they were going to like bring him along. He had one of the cleanest wins I've seen the rookies have in Atlanta. So I think the fun thing is they're hitting on the young players. and Ulbrick has all the other guys
Starting point is 00:15:09 who are already there playing sped up. Because they attack, and I love watching their front right now. The other thing I would say is this, come for the QB rematch, the young quarterbacks, stay for Brian Robbins or Bejohn Robinson in four-minute mode.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Like that legitimately for me was worth the price of admission. What other running back can make four-minute in a field goal football game that exciting late in the game? I mean, every play is like, a box of chocolates, dude. You never know what you're going to get. These cuts are unbelievable. You heard Sequin talk about it on the broadcast last night. He said it to us at Gino's up in,
Starting point is 00:15:47 what was it Gino's? Yeah, yeah. Up in Philly. And he talked about who's next. Bejohn Robinson's next. Some of those cuts were ridiculous. How would you like to be Dallas Turner being the whole player on that direct snap to fucking be Bejohn Robinson? So, I mean, they're fantastic. Lindstrom moving people. They know who they are. And, And I credit Rahim Morris for coming out with that game plan, and Ulbrook's a big part of it. Yeah, and just to give Oldbrook some more love, you know, you guys know, you hear every coordinator ever. They say the same line of like I adapt my scheme to my personnel. But to see somebody do it live in one year is so impressive.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Like looking back at those Jets defenses under Oldbrick, four down, cover three. And he was competing with Gus Bradley every year for like lowest blitz rate in the league. Whereas through two weeks here, he's a 42% blitzer. That defense is playing really fast. and you can see he's really messing with the eyes of opposing quarterbacks. And Leonard Floyd, too. Leonard Floyd.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Getting him is big, and that's something, if you want to stay a D-Lyman or on a team in the league, just know how to rush the pastor. And the guy knows how to rush to pass. You can be a situational pass rush in the year 30s. Yep, absolutely, because he's going on. He's like a first team all mercenary. Yep.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Yeah. Like clowning. Yeah. Like clowning. Him and Clowny and Zedarius, man. First of all mercenary. The last couple teams he's been on, he had eight or more sacks everywhere he's gone.
Starting point is 00:17:12 The last five years. Yep. And so just for him to see him last night, just like, oh, that's Leonard Ford. He's a, he's a Falcon now. And they're doing the same thing. The last thing I'll say, and it's connected to this, is Albrecht said last night.
Starting point is 00:17:23 And I thought it was an interesting admission out loud was to say to the people in a production meeting and that being Chris Collinsworth and Toreko and saying, hey, we don't have any A-listers, right? Which isn't to take anything away from the B, B-listers, to be a B-Lister rusher and the NFL is not like being a B-list movie star. Like you're still, you're still a stud, you're Leonard Floyd. But the young guys, what he's saying is like, we're deeper than we are top-heavy.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Right. And we can work around that because I think the secondary is really fucking good right now. We didn't even mention A.J. Terrell, who got ding last night. But, you know, you got Bates back there, the whole thing. So let me ask you this. If you're a player, would you, if you're in that locker room, would you take a, some offense to hearing that if you felt like you were a lister like hearing your coach say that uh like a little bit or just kind of like hey coach i think we know the deal i think we know the deal
Starting point is 00:18:16 you know like at that at that point in my career from lennard floyd i i think i know the deal and i you know i'm just happy to be in Atlanta with that i mean think about it's a it's one of the most fun jobs in and you know and bow was there when i was an older rusher but like it's fun to be a vet dude It's fun to bring along young players. I saw Derek Barnett in Detroit for the Houston Joint Practice, and you saw me in DB hug each other. I hadn't seen him since 17 or 18. And I love the guy, you know, because I was his vet,
Starting point is 00:18:50 and he was one of my young guys, dude. And I think that's so cool to see Leonard Floyd with two young rushers like that. They're going to owe him a lot for what they kind of pick up off of Leonard Floyd. And so the only other thing I'll say is this. I nearly gave Redmond from Minnesota, the STL Memorial Award, until he jumped off sides down two scores, which ruined a very, it didn't ruin it.
Starting point is 00:19:12 Because I think, you know, if you're Brian Flores watching the tape, he played as good as anybody on that front. I saw him cross Lindstrom's face and make a TFL. I saw him sack somebody. You know, he had a sack at some point late in the game. So, you know, Redmond, who's wearing a camp body number, and he looks like he has a camp body, played really well for them.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Yep. Yeah. I got one court award, too, for this. Best flight easily for the Falcons. Sunday night win, you know, one and one, pretty quick flight back down to ATL. That's the best flight for me. There's just no good flight on Sunday night, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:19:46 You know, it's just late. Yeah, but that's like, you know, that's like an hour and a half. Yeah, it's not too bad. It's not too bad. And you get a win, you know. Which is also wild, an hour and a half. And you can get off the plane and go to Magic City for some wings. You can. You can go there for some other stuff too, but we were just there for the wings.
Starting point is 00:20:03 All right. So game of the week, Philly takes Arrowhead again, dude. Yeah, I don't think Kansas in, you know, Eagles fans will say, hey, you know, you got to, you got to give credit where credit's due. And I think it was a great win. I don't think it's about the fact that they went in and beat this chief's team. I think there's a, because I don't think this chief's team is that good right now. But they're still the fucking chiefs. And it's still Arrowhead. And Spaggs brought pressure all game long. And I know Petulow, it's, is, you know, he's already like a hot button topic in Philly. But, you know, what do you want them to do in that scenario? I know there's some things they could do differently. I like to see more hots, more checkdowns versus all that blitz. You know, did a lot of late rotation, brought pressure, and they played zone behind it. And I think that was the formula in this game, a lot like Rahim Morris knew what time it was in the game.
Starting point is 00:21:01 I think there was a confidence on the defensive side of the football that said, hey, this isn't going to be a 35, 34 game. We're going to be able to score 23. points and beat this team at Arrowhead. And so I didn't think they needed to take all the chances. I share the sentiments of the unrest when you look at the offense. Like we've been through this two years ago with Brian Johnson and I'm not saying it's going to be the same situation, but, you know, one thing that came up was not having enough hots, not enough quick game. You know, I want to give the guy time to grow and learn as a play caller. He's never called plays. And I also thought Jalen
Starting point is 00:21:35 hurts he doesn't wow you with you know the overall performance through the air in this game but he just does the right things he did the right things um you know they did not take shots until it was smitty outside the numbers versus like zero blitz right and he was decisive in going there and the balls are on the money and you know the first one this is the funniest fucking quote ever i don't know if you guys heard this quote um but you know the first deep ball they threw to smitty he landed on his back and they were like hey jalen how tough is is devonte smith i mean he landed on his back early in the game and jalen goes he landed on his back but he came up on top jaylon's always running with some poignant like deep thinking like you can put that on a
Starting point is 00:22:23 poster you know what i know no question bro the the the miced up of him firing right back at chris jones at the end of the game is just so great but that's why we love him yeah You know, like, I'm the rare person that, hey, I don't, I don't care if Jalen is ranked as a top five quarterback. Like, who the fuck cares? He wins. He wins. And, you know, like, when he says at the end of the game and that little interaction, of course, that's what you would say. But, like, not a lot of guys think like that.
Starting point is 00:22:54 They don't. But like, you might feel sensitive about that. You might be like, fuck you. We won the fucking game. And it's just crazy to something to say when you're losing. or I guess if Jalen was a different person, just like you're saying, that probably might have got under his skin,
Starting point is 00:23:09 and there are guys that sit in the locker room after a win, and they're kind of upset, and it's just like, why are you upset? And it's like, oh, I didn't have 15 catches or this many yards, and some guys might get it, but I just think that was great. They don't care what it looks like. Yeah. They don't care.
Starting point is 00:23:25 And they might have to win a bunch of one-score games like Kansas City did last year. They might. Do I think they're as good as a team last year? year? No, I don't. But I also think they got room for improvement. And they have guys on the roster. Like, you look at, look on defense. And we said this a couple weeks ago, we're sitting here watching tape and I go, Nolan, did McCupe play the slot when he was at Texas? And, you know, it's like, I know he can play slot. Yep. But did he play this slot? Because remember last year, the insertion of Cooper DeGine in the lineup at nickel changed everything. We're down a guy outside, you know,
Starting point is 00:24:02 or inside. And, you know, if they have to, I saw a rep versus mesh in a key moment in the game where, and I think it was on, who was Hollywood Brown? It was on Hollywood Brown. Who's their number one, but he's like a two. And, you know, McCuba's got him in the slot and sorts through traffic and ends up making the play short of the sticks. Like, I'm not saying one rep shows me everything I need to know, but I feel like that's an option they have there. You know, you talk about, You talk about young players. Jahad Campbell's played really well through two weeks. So immediately you've got a safety that looks like he's part of the solution.
Starting point is 00:24:40 You've got a linebacker. It looks like he's part of the solution. I also think like, you know, you're placing guys, replacing guys like Brandon Graham. Nolan Smith is going to be the new BG on this team for a long time. Because, you know, you look at BG, might not have gone to Pro Bowls and might not have had, you know, 15 sacks a year, but he was a hell of an all-round player. He'd set an edge. He'd get rush for you.
Starting point is 00:25:02 He'd get pressures when you didn't realize he was the one that affected a throw. Nolan does all the little things. I absolutely love him. And on fourth and short, made a huge play in this game. You had Zadaria Smith. We didn't even get to see Tank Bigsby play last, you know, yesterday. So they're going to do things to improve. We talked about Kansas City being a little bit more handcuffed with their cap situation.
Starting point is 00:25:24 I don't know if there's a worse group of receivers in the league outside. Really? I think so. No. Anybody? Going into the season, I would throw out the Browns, but I think in this current form, I would take Judy and what Cedric Tillman's
Starting point is 00:25:39 put on tape over the first two weeks. And I even, like, the Saints are probably the next closest, and I'd still take them over. I'd take anybody over that group. I'd take anybody over that group. And so, like, as you look at Kansas City now, in this new era of Kansas City football, not only are they doing a lot of things
Starting point is 00:25:56 that I'm not accustomed to seeing them do to hurt themselves. Like obviously the game comes down to a pick at the goal line. You know, it comes down to Travis Kelsey dropping a football in the red zone
Starting point is 00:26:07 a little pivot route or whatever it was. Like they've run that a million times. And, you know, credit the Eagles for taking it the other way, but like the mistakes they make, Mahomes overthrowing Thornton.
Starting point is 00:26:19 And I think that also speaks to something with him. Like, he gets frustrated. And so remember when it was like a Cardinal sin to blitz Mahomes? Right. I don't think it is anymore. not with this group outside because he's looking for the home run ball.
Starting point is 00:26:31 He's trying to get it back at one play. You know, I think it'll be interested to see how defenses play him now. And the other thing is this, when it comes to the details, I saw a stat yesterday, and it's not a revelation that the Kansas City Chiefs have been middle of the pack the last two years, and it's felt like bottom of the pack because of who they are and the expectation. The details have not been as good since Eric B. Enemy left. And I'm not saying it's a Matt Nagy issue, but you know the one thing that the enemy was known to do was getting guys shit when things weren't good
Starting point is 00:27:02 on the details and i don't think they have a guy like that right now and it shows in the way they play so they got a rough rough road ahead of them i don't know my home's here worried about them down the stretch for it because are you worried about them down the stretch because i mean what they haven't been oh and two since 2014 feels like last year they like Like, the last time they didn't make the budget. The beginning of the year, like they were winning games, but they weren't, it doesn't seem like they were that much better than the team now. But like you have Andy Reed, you have Patrick Mahomes, you have Spags.
Starting point is 00:27:38 I just feel like they're going to get it figured out. No, hey, Bo, I'm with you. They'll figure it out at some point, but let's see how deep the hole gets. You know, look who they have the next month of the season. You know, 12% of O and two teams make the playoffs. Now, I don't think it applies here. I got to see it to believe it. Like we've seen the Chargers play one game.
Starting point is 00:27:59 You know, charges play one game. And I got a lot of respect for the Chargers. I think they look really good. They look like the best team in the division right now. But when Rice gets back, when the Speedster gets back, when, when, you know, when they figure some things out in the secondary, like, how do we want to play? Like, they had to play without Fulton for a while last night. I think at some point they'll be fine.
Starting point is 00:28:20 But I don't know that they're like a Super Bowl contending team the way they've been in the past couple years. Yeah. Because they're going to have to go on the road. Now, they went on the road a couple years ago and won it, but this team, the defense is not the same. Right. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:28:36 Oh, go ahead. No, you go ahead. No, you go ahead. I asked Nolan this last night, and Matt Roth actually mentioned this in the chat. But is there a team out there that could be sellers to Kansas City, specifically on wide receivers, maybe Green Bay, if they have a surplus?
Starting point is 00:28:52 Well, Green Bay just lost Jaden Reed. So, you know, I think they're going to stand pat probably. And I also think for a contending team, you probably don't want to, you know, Charlie's holding up the Tyreek sign again, but I don't think you can afford him. Yeah, the biggest thing we're against the Chiefs with picking up another players. They got $3.1 million in cap. It's going to be tough to fit a real playmaker under that number right now. So when I say they're kind of stuck, that's what I mean.
Starting point is 00:29:19 And they're at the mercy of Rishie Rice coming back and worthy coming back. those guys but even when they come back i haven't seen this team run the ball with any efficiency now one thing that changes is if you have a vertical element maybe you get more too high looks you know maybe you have some lighter boxes to run into but and the screen game gets going as well a vertical element sorry Nate a vertical element who can do things beyond just that vertical piece like the thing with typhon thornton he's getting some targets down the field but his route tree it's a palm tree like there's no there's no branches that's a problem that's a problem Yeah. Indeed.
Starting point is 00:29:55 With speed like this, I don't need to run no routes. Right. Yeah, well. I just get open. No, they need somebody to run some damn routes because, you know, so in summation, man, the Eagles did what they had to do to win this game. Is it going to be pretty for them every week this year? No, don't get so fat and happy off of last year that you can't enjoy a win like this.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Right. You know, I think that's my point. It's like when you say to Eagles fans at the beginning of the season, it's not going to look the same as last year. That doesn't mean they can. can't win it but they're going to have to do things really really well to win it and and last year you know they were like the mon stars and a lot of those pieces on defense like they made one move early in the season and unlocked endless potential can i can i talk about this real quick about the
Starting point is 00:30:40 you can talk about yeah whatever you want dog i was on record on this show and we it was a big deal about the tush push and like if they should ban it or not yeah and i said they definitely shouldn't of like you just got to stop it but i take that back you the eagles are cheating they're cheating the the tush push is 100% illegal illegal from the formation how they line up to the start and the fact that the refs they don't have a way to catch it or get the false starts and the the premature movement if you can't see it in real time they got to throw it out they're making it 200 hard for the refs and last night was an absolute like it was an indication that that's way too hard to put on our referees when we're already mad at them about stuff and every single time they
Starting point is 00:31:34 run a tush push it should be a five-yard penalty well unfortunately no way how off side five yards not every time i yeah i listen center last night any other play if the center in the guards helmets are in the same vicinity or cross the line it's a it's a i'm not going to push it's a back on when it's a false start, call a false start. Or illegal formation. Sure, same thing. Okay. But not every time they line up, they're illegal.
Starting point is 00:31:59 For the for the push, yes. You think they're illegal every time they line up? I think every single time. I think for the rule books, because if you try to line up like that on a regular play, I think the refs, if it's not like a hurry up situation, if they look down the line, they're going to throw a flat. Well, so the answer is, the answer is because you can't just take a play away mid-season. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:32:20 You know, we ruined that chance. The answer is officiate it. No, yes. You know, officiate it. And I make no bones about it. Like, hey, like Eagles fans, they don't want to hear any of this shit. No, absolutely not. But no, but I mean, no, but I'm talking about this.
Starting point is 00:32:33 There were a couple of miscalls in that game on the, you know, I said this last night. And I'm seeing comments in the chat, like, well, what about the ruffing on my homes? I'm like, let's not do this. Like, we're big enough boys, aren't we? That we can admit that, like, when we got away with one or two. Let's be intellectually honest here. I don't have any problem with the play, but if it's not officiated properly, the false start gets me.
Starting point is 00:32:57 I think it's too hard to officiate, but I'm both sides because if I'm on defense and I'm, like, I played zero nose, I am trying to jump that snap, and if I go off sides, it's whatever, but I'm going to try that every single time on that play. Because really, like, hey, if I jump off sides to get a first down, realistically, 90% of the time they're going to get the first down.
Starting point is 00:33:18 anyway. But if I can maybe jump the snap before you guys jump the snap, then something better happen. But I think on both sides is just way, way too hard for the referees to try to make that call. Like, hey, if you do throw a flag, it's like who you call on. And then for us at home, we only get to see that re-that super slow replay. And so it's a luxury for us to be like, how can you miss that call? But in reality, I don't know. They get shit all the time. I think they just need to officiate it properly. It's a football play. They're going to.
Starting point is 00:33:49 You want to call it at least once. The next, they'll call it next week. They're going to call it at least once. I guarantee you. It'll be a point of emphasis. You heard Dean Blanino and say the same shit that fax is saying, I'm done with the touch push.
Starting point is 00:34:02 It's too hard to officiate. And they sounded the same. It's like, oh! There it is. Like, the rest are definitely going to come back and call because you know Roger's panties are in a bunch about this and everyone's making comments about on social media. But the bottom line is it hasn't been banned facts.
Starting point is 00:34:20 No, no, I love it. No, no. For the Eagles, why are you snitching, bro? I think the Eagles, they're doing what they're supposed to because we allowed it. They tried to get rid of it. We allowed it. And what do you do? You got to keep pushing the envelope.
Starting point is 00:34:32 And that's what they're doing. But as for the play. Until it stops. And if it's a play that's helping them win and extend series, like absolutely keep doing it. But playing devil's advocate is cheating. As for the play. The play is not. cheating if you break the rules as cheating now here's as for the as for the play false starts cheating
Starting point is 00:34:51 yeah i mean but but starting every time may i talking about one super slow mo clip on social media bro may i though no it's clear false start but but may i yeah but not every i got to call both both ways dude and if you got a problem with that you know maybe try a kids podcast i like here here's watch other teams try to run the fucking play. Watch the Vikings try to QB sneak last night. It looks like a different. The Bears got stuffed on one too. It looked fucking terrible.
Starting point is 00:35:23 It looks like a different group of people. It looks like that's arena football. And that's why I respected it. Because they're doing things well. I get it. Like you have to practice it. You have to know how to do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Absolutely. Absolutely. QB is got to get in the squat rack. Maybe that's the conclusion. Yeah. That is that and that kind of It must be It must be that
Starting point is 00:35:44 After one of those push-pushes though It does it Jalen getting up out of that pile And it's just His face is like God Yeah that's yeah Nate that was that was brave That was brave of you to bring that up Because the chat, Fran Curran says
Starting point is 00:35:59 Nate That's rage bait And then Trevor said That's pure hate Trevor said hate Pure hate put facts on the grill He's cooked Oh wow they cooked you
Starting point is 00:36:11 Speaking of the grill, we got to talk about, uh, Oh yeah, let's bring the grill out. Real fast, some breaking news. Yeah. Um, and, uh, Jaden Daniels has a knee injury. He's going to miss next week. That he might be next week. Fuck!
Starting point is 00:36:25 I try to get it in. Try to get the Raiders in. I'm going to get it in right now. Bro. Yeah. What are you having? I'm fucking. What's your call?
Starting point is 00:36:34 My fantasy's cursed. Gosh, darn it. My fantasy's cursed. Yeah. Now Mack Jones isn't going to have a good next week, is he? Like, I, I got. Got rid of who's the receipt who's who's Kansas City's receiver? It's fucking it's off the board.
Starting point is 00:36:47 What's his name? That got. Xavier worthy. I had Xavier worthy. Fuck. He gets hurt. So what did I do? I cut him like I cut him and I got Mac Jones because I'm like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:36:57 Mac Jones, he's about to get this start for a few weeks. He's going to do good. And I didn't start him. Didn't start him. I left Jaden Daniels in. They played horrible. He doesn't get, he did a right for me this week. But now he's hurt.
Starting point is 00:37:10 I do think we're burying the lead a little bit. Washington might miss Jaden Daniel. Yeah, I think. Yeah. But also just to go back. Who's her back of Marriota? Still? I think they got the- Marriota gets busy. Who else do they got? Well, I'm just going to say they get the Raiders Sunday. That's big for your squad. Yeah. So your other squad, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and I know what you're going to say. We gave the game away, right? Yeah. Joe Burrow played one quarter. Okay. Now, let's start with the injury, because this was the Chris and Nate bull. Let's start with the injury, which I don't want to have a smile on my face talking about this because it is, it sucks. It sucks for football, man. Like, even if you hate Joe Burrow, like, and there are people out there, they're like, he's not that good. I'm like, all right, what's good then?
Starting point is 00:38:00 Be serious. This dude is now, the injuries are piling up like Andrew Luck. Like, it's not quite the same, but you really are at. at risk of like burning the guy out and you know like we got talking about it last night turf toe bow you you've had turf toe i want to hear you talk about it but you know i had sucks i had ligament issues in my toe and i've got a big knuckle on my toe that like it builds over time and it takes away your flexion and it changes the way you run it changes the way you squat it changed at 40 years old my entire right leg operates differently because of the toe injury.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Wow. And so, and that's true for any injury. You know, when a guy returns to play, you know, it's all he's, he's good, he's healthy, but something changes when you rehab. Every time you get a surgery, every time you rehab, every time you have an injury or play through it, something, you know, biometrics, not biometrics, that's like your heartbeat. Something changes on you from a physiological. physiological chain standpoint right and and and so for joe burrow like these things keep piling up forget like this year
Starting point is 00:39:13 how many of these can can he take and um i think it also from a mental standpoint for the for the baltimore for the bengals and for bangles fans like there were 70 000 people decked out in orange jesterate and they were like it was fucking Halloween dude i saw you said creatures they got some creatures in that stadium and they were like We're 1 in 0 in September. Here we go. If we can win this game, it'll all feel better. Well, this was the one situation that could have reigned on that parade. Bo, what did it feel like to have turf toe?
Starting point is 00:39:48 Dude, it was terrible. And I'm not like Dr. Anderson or whomever. And I wasn't a quarterback either, obviously. But like, just you're so limited from an explosive. Like you just, you can't push off of that foot the same way. And I think it's his right foot, right? correct me if I'm wrong, but I just worry about him trying to plan off that back foot and deliver a ball. It's one of those injuries that like even if you have it surgically operated on it,
Starting point is 00:40:15 it's one of those lingering injuries like you said, Chris, that you just deal with for a long time. Like I feel for a man and then, you know, just watching him walk off the sidelines so slowly, like no cart. Heard some rumors that the Bengals don't even have a cart or whatever. I want to, I want to. That's my worst seat is just watching. Joe Burrow limp off the field there in limp you know being carried into the locker by the athletic trainers was worst seat feel for Joe Burrow it sucks for him in that injury is fucking so there's a lot going on here number one
Starting point is 00:40:47 I want to apologize to the nation for getting Fox News last night I got I like a boomer I took the cheese on the the Bengals don't have a cart thing I was overstimulated I was rushing into my next my my life break all work look have we seen the cart and I know I know it came out and like we have have a cart practically speaking hand up they got me with the they got me with the bro you got to at least drive it out and have them wave it off so you can at least prove that you do have some plausible than when i got hurt they were about they were driving the cart out and i waved it off i know i think he waved it off on camera but that looks but next thing you know they're going to be they're going to like they're going to be you know this is the bengal's cart yeah that's the bengal's cart right there that's really
Starting point is 00:41:29 good i would have respected that even more adding insult to injury literally no one would it you know limping go off on a toe injury is added insult to injury I feel like I would rather limp off and get carded off on that okay so there's a lot of there's a lot of stuff going on right now number one I got fox news number two and now they're going to start probably they're going to do like old people fraud to me they're going to start targeting me and calling me like investing in coins and shit you know so Big news here, Justin's or Vikings quarterback, J.J. McCarthy has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Bengals due to an ankle injury. This could be the crack in the door that the Bengals absolutely need because at some point this year, I believe Joe Burroughs coming back.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Okay. At some point this year, Charlie says no. But I think at some point that he's like, well, I didn't say that. He went, they said at least three months. Okay, that if you do the math is Depends how you look at it is 12 weeks, right? The thing about months are though That there's more than four weeks in a month Which is totally fucked up And I look at this and I'm like
Starting point is 00:42:46 If he comes back in December Where do they have to be to make the playoffs? How many wins is it going to take? Browning has played before He's played in 2003 late in the season Hey, they're going to play the Vikings. He beat the Vikings at home, right? in overtimes through a couple touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Starting point is 00:43:05 He's had his moments. But what if I told you, I have a take, more of a second opinion. What if I told you you could still have Joe on Sunday? What would you say? Trade for Joe Flacko. Trade for Joe Flacko. He's been, he has not been part of the solution necessarily in Cleveland. There is no solution in Cleveland.
Starting point is 00:43:31 The solution is the solution in Cleveland. in Cleveland is to accrue draft capital. Kurt Cousins was staring longingly last night at the Viking sideline. Like if I was here, you know, and there is Jimmy G. Sure. But I just can't I can't get the Joe Flacco playing catch with Amari Cooper out of my head from a couple years ago. He's still, he's the ageless wonder. And, you know, like, I don't know if they, they feel confident enough in their head coach to be like let's throw more more draft capital at zach taylor but i think it's more about like joe's window and if you want to be sitting there in january somehow with like a guy who could be the face of the league watching football in the same place i'm watching football
Starting point is 00:44:16 in the fucking couch then by by all means you know roll browning out and i know he's experienced and and i'm going to pull for him but i think the bengals i saw last night score 20 points a game in the starts that Joe is not out there. So like you have to find a way. And if Browning's going to play, brother, I know you sit next to Joe Burrow in meetings every day and watch him do things. But like the rules for he are not for thee, my brother in Christ, you cannot try to make Joe Burrow plays. Avoid the middle of the field if you can. You know, hit, you know, use the sideline when you're taking shots. You know, a little bit. bit more quick game, get the run game going, screen game. But for fuck's sake, he can't turn the
Starting point is 00:45:05 ball over like he did yesterday. That almost single-handedly lost in the game. I think there's a way, but it doesn't look pretty. Look at their next month. Look at the next month. The next month their schedule, I think they have the Lions. You mentioned Minnesota, which becomes a little bit more of a softer landing spot for Jake Brownings, Vikings, Broncos, Lions, Packers, Steelers. So they got two layups, the next couple games. Who are the layups? I mean, the Vikings with who's their next quarterback?
Starting point is 00:45:41 Carson Wentz. Oh, so what a, oh, maybe. Dude, that's a fucking upgrade at this point for the Vikes. Yeah, probably. I was just about to say, Kevin O'Connell is going to have that Wolverine meme of him looking at Sam Darnel's pitcher like, dang. Yeah, no, I know, which is crazy because I don't think that, though. I think it's early.
Starting point is 00:46:00 You know, I think Carson is going to have some super vintage Carson plays this weekend, which are like. But I'm just saying as a. He's going to shrug off three rushers and just like throw the ball 15 yards down the field in traffic. But back to the Bengals, when Joe Burrow comes back, there needs to be a heart to heart about this. Because when he was in the game early, like, I know offensive lines in the NFL aren't perfect. Not everybody has an Eagles offensive line. But, and by the way, going back to the Eagles, the guard play right now makes me a little bit nervous,
Starting point is 00:46:30 just to say that. Like Dickerson, maybe a little bit dinged, Steen, you know, he's fine. But when we look at the Bengals' offensive line, Ford was in the game. He was getting abused a little bit. You know, P. Ryan missed a, you know, a blitz pickup. Rizner gave up the sack that hurt Joe Burrow. This has been a longstanding tradition there.
Starting point is 00:46:50 And I think part of it is this. They love to spread it out and go, five wide they they like getting people out in the route there has to be a come-the-jesus moment where it's like hey joe i know you love going for the jugular every play but your time to throw has got to come down a little bit and you have to embrace like hey we might keep a tight end in the protection we might max up and take shots a little bit more because he's going to get killed back there trying to play hero ball you look at you know burrow has not played behind an offensive line that didn't rank in the bottom quartile which is a great word um the the highest ranked offensive line that they've had has been
Starting point is 00:47:28 two thousand twenty seven in the league insane that's it's malpractice and i know that like after the pennay soel jamar chase thing everybody was like who who whoopty do who needs a fucking offensive tackle it fucking matters and um and i worry about joe in his entire career because this is a hall of famer and you know like you only get one window in your prime now if he if he never gets to play again, is you a Hall of Fame or no? No. No. I love that. I love that, though. That's a great question. I mean, when people hear you say that,
Starting point is 00:48:03 like, I'm just... When I say Hall of Fame or I mean Hall of Fame trajectory. Okay. There are some guys that if they stop playing right now or in, you know? I hear you. But for guys like that, I'm like, hey, eventually he's Gold Jacket if things work out. Now, for Jacksonville, what a scary group of receivers.
Starting point is 00:48:22 If they weren't so scared, okay? Brian Thomas Jr., That's a bad deal. Conduct dentramental. And I was saying this earlier. I just feel like I don't know if that's finable or what it is, but you can't be an NFL Y receiver and be afraid to run across the middle.
Starting point is 00:48:43 Like, I mean, I guess you can be, but you can't actually. But I haven't seen that before from him. As far as being a finable, I guess you'd call it a loaf. You guys would get fine for loaves, right? We get, we just, well, almost worse. I feel like that thing. Greg Williams calling you a fucking traitor. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:00 Yeah. Like, the loaf. It is. It is. You're a traitor. Go play for the other fucking team. Seriously. I don't feel like this is almost worse than a loaf.
Starting point is 00:49:10 A loaf is like when you're tired, like, and you kind of like, it's not an excuse. These are business decision. It's a, that was a business decision. Like, hey, I don't want to get my head taken off. I don't want to end up with a concussion. I don't want to end up with a stiff arm on the field while everyone, my family's watching this. but you still have to do it. Like, I just feel like...
Starting point is 00:49:30 Not him in the fencing posture. Yeah. Yeah, like, I just feel like... I feel like that's what you're thinking about if you're a wide receiver running across the middle. No, yeah, yeah, yeah. See it all the time. And I don't know how that feels.
Starting point is 00:49:40 Me either. You know, all my car accidents, I saw him coming. You know, and there was a lot of car accidents, but, like, they're getting T-boned in the middle of the highway. That's a different deal. But you've got to be willing to do it. And beyond that... It led to an interception.
Starting point is 00:49:54 It led to an interception. Deiomby Brown. dropping a ball in the end zone. You know, I- Trevor throwing a pick on the first drive when they're driving the field. So that's the whole thing. Starting the game that way.
Starting point is 00:50:05 And then you give up an 80-yard drive for a touchdown to start the game. Well, it's 14. It's going to be 14-nothing. You know, if you go down and put it in. And I don't feel like the Bengals could have climbed out. I mean, they could have. But like, I didn't feel great about it.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Trey Hendrickson, proving his worth on the biggest play of the game. That's the turn. point of the game. Being on a defense like that that's about to get jumped at home and the place is going to go dead silent and it's going to be stiff in there. All of a sudden, Tray comes up with a Batman rush, doesn't get a sack, but causes a pick. And the thing the Bengals have done through two weeks, they've been opportunistic. And they were again yesterday. And Trevor Lawrence, you talk about Brown, you talk about Parker Washington, you talk about, you know, Hunter. You talk about
Starting point is 00:50:54 Brian Thomas Jr. Tutin, Strange, ETN. Yeah. In the way that the Packers have like a really deep group. Yeah. They got a really deep group. I'm excited. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:04 There's a lot to be excited about. But the quarterback cannot be so. He sprays it. I mean, he just, at times you're like, what are you doing? I think to me, outside looking in, I feel like the quarterback and the receivers in this new system with Leon Cohen. Not quite on the same page. They're not on the same page at all. No.
Starting point is 00:51:27 Like you have a bunch of pre-snap penalties where it's illegal formations and it's wide receivers and Trevor just not being on the same page of lining up or when the snap count's supposed to go. The penalties, yeah. And you can see that. And then also, too, like the little spat between Trevor and Liam Cohen and that's going to be my fly on the wall is just, Liam Cohen seems like a guy like after that game,
Starting point is 00:51:50 he made him pull Trevor to the side. It was just like, yo, don't fucking wave me off. Don't wave me off, brother. But in the same token, the way he was kind of doing it to Trevor, like, they, in the same, they both did, they did the same thing to each other in the span of a couple of seconds where you're kind of upstanding each other, where he's like, hit him in the fucking chest. And Trevor, like, as a quarterback, yo, of course I'm trying to hit my receiver in the fucking chest.
Starting point is 00:52:17 That's like the little league dad being like throw strikes, which is my favorite thing in the world. But the irony. Oh, I wasn't trying to. But the irony of the- I'll change. But the irony of the whole thing is the very next play, he throws that pass to Brian Thomas, and it goes right through his hands,
Starting point is 00:52:38 hits him in the chest. And it would have been either a touchdown or a first-down on the one-yard. I don't know. I don't know. Well, I didn't get a second look at that. I love the call going for it. Love the call going for it.
Starting point is 00:52:48 If I'm on defense, I want them kicking that field goal, right? the way they've been kind of moving the ball between the 20s, basically. But they go for it, they get the look they want, and I think it would have been a contested, you know, play at the sticks because he turned his body. No, I hear you, but I respect it in the sense that your coach, a coach quarterback relationship, y'all just had that spat, and he still trust you.
Starting point is 00:53:13 He still trust you that I'm throwing this play in, and hey, like, you're going to make this, you're going to make this play. And Trevor did, but Brian, it's not, it's not, he, Trevor didn't play awful. No, not at all. But to my point, like the strength of this team, it's the weapons. And they're also running the football screen game looks good, right? It's going to be exciting. Yeah, Tudan's going to be exciting.
Starting point is 00:53:34 He sat somebody down in the red zone, like, but, but ultimately the quarterback to be able to elevate this group to where they need to go has got to play a level up, a level up. Yeah. That's all. It's pretty simple. And just to add some color to the, you mentioned the screen game. They completed eight of nine attempted screen. 103 yards after the catch, two tuds,
Starting point is 00:53:53 9.1 yards per play on screens for the Jags. Somebody said Brian Thomas in the chat. Somebody said that Cohen said Brian Thomas dealing with a wrist injury. Does that move you? Fuck no. Okay. Fuck no.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Like tell me that before the game. I think he probably did, but he expected him to try to catch the ball. You know what I mean? Yeah. I'm with you. If you have a wrist injury and it's that bad, like that you're going to look like that, you wouldn't go out there.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Not in a position like wide receiver. Because I think he's great. Like, yeah. Like, I'm willing to forget this week. Because even that. As a fan, as an analyst, I'm willing to forget it. Look, even that with a wrist, you know how it is. Even if you're like, if you're a wide receiver and you love to play.
Starting point is 00:54:36 And even if it's being a little selfish, like I'm going to play with her wrist, you're going to slack off on the blocking. You're not going to slack off on trying to catch a pass or get stats. I guess. I mean, I don't know. Like I said, I'm willing to forget this ever happened. If they take the next step the next week and can, and continue to go to it. Because I think it's an encouraging start for the offense.
Starting point is 00:54:56 Like through two games, I'm encouraged. I really am. And I'm encouraged by the defense. Eric Armstead, he's looking good. He does look good. And Trayvon Walker, like those guys, as long as they keep getting pressure at defense, they have enough playmakers that they can stay in games and they can compete, but they just have to keep doing it. They just have to keep doing it and Josh Hines Allen he'll get going and if they can string stuff together they have a couple of guys that we can start hearing some big stats from him on you didn't like the Travis Hunter PI call did you I did not like it I thought it was I thought I mean I feel like that's a bad call huh say it again I think I think that's a home cooking call I feel like depending on where
Starting point is 00:55:40 you're at I don't like the call going to Yoshivasa on fourth down that's what I don't like Oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah. It's the same reason why sunday night football is such you know it's like it's like cash cow for the books you know it was for me last night I was like this game's going over. Um yeah when you have less options just be careful out there. That's my tip of the week. You know,
Starting point is 00:57:01 if you're doing well off the 1 p.m. just just stand pat if you're not in love with anything the 4 p.ms. Um okay. Here's a game we gave out. No doubter. Lions get back on track. Hang a 50 burger on the Chicago Bears best seat. I'll give a best seat to Barry Sanders sitting next to Eminem. How cool is that? Actually, Eminem's sitting next to Barry Sanders. It's backwards. Eminem's got the best seat.
Starting point is 00:57:29 And he would say that probably too. Marshall. Sitting next to Barry Sanders, who is our guy. He's the coolest guy in the world. Signed your trading card while you're sitting there. You didn't even get up from the, who at the Super Bowl, Barry Sanders walks in. He's on a love set.
Starting point is 00:57:43 Chill it. Barry Sanders walks in. It's nine in the morning. I'm working on three hours sleep and they're like, Barry Sanders is here. I'm like, fuck, dude. 13 year old me would be so ashamed that,
Starting point is 00:57:54 you know, like this is the state we're in. He walks in. People are still cleaning up from the night before Nate's sitting on a fucking beanbag. And the first thing I see when I walk downstairs is Nate, like laid out and Barry standing over him signing a trading card. Could it pass up that opportunity? He's the nicest guy in the world.
Starting point is 00:58:12 Nice guy in the world. Um, worst seat probably Jared Gough in the lion's leave zone. Mm-hmm. Did you see that? Mm-mm. He tried to do like basically a Lambo leap. Oh, they have a lion's leave zone. And you know, he's a little vertically challenged.
Starting point is 00:58:25 And he ended up stuck, like kind of, he looked like he was stuck in like a human ball pit. White man can't jump. A lot of the times it's true. Amon St. Brown did it in that game, I think. Well, yeah, there's a little bit of a difference there. You know, Amon Ross, St. Brown. Well.
Starting point is 00:58:42 His dad's, he's like, Amon. Amon Ross St. Brown is an SOB. Son of a bodybuilder, dude. And Jared Golf's got two white parents. Remember, Alman Ra's dad said, you know, it's really hard to make a pro athlete that way. And let me tell you, is somebody who beat the odds.
Starting point is 00:59:01 All right. So here's going to be the biggest thing coming out of the game. We can talk about Detroit putting a thump in on Chicago and, you know, defense doing a celebration with Ben Johnson's play in the end zone. Brian Branch said, like, we felt disrespect that he left. I know that Gough threw some cold water on the fuck Ben Johnson chance. And Johnson, even after the game was like, hey, what do you want him to do?
Starting point is 00:59:23 He goes on fourth down. Like they went for it on fourth and eight in the red zone and scored. And they put up a 50 burger on these guys. So it's like it's proving two things. The lions aren't dead as we said they weren't. And, you know, it's not all Ben Johnson up there. You know, Jared Gough was fantastic. Five touchdowns shredded these guys.
Starting point is 00:59:43 scored six touchdowns and seven red zone trips. It was like one of those days for them. Franchise record 8.8 yards for play against your old, your old thing. You know what I'm saying? When your old thing comes in town. I also say this about the offense. Remember in the past we were kind of imploring Detroit to make a move
Starting point is 01:00:02 for a possession receiver outside the numbers. They got their slot. They got their tight end. They get the two weapons in the backfield. Tesla, you found him. Another circus catch on the side. line, throw him a fade. Like just, just, just give him a chance. He can make catches. He blocks his ass off. Hutch got on the board with a sack. That was great, Davenport. But, but let's move to the
Starting point is 01:00:26 Chicago Bears, because this is where it's going to get a little spicy, I think. I read and gathered that Caleb played poorly after the game. Now, I watched the All-22 this morning, and I didn't see it. I thought he played fine. I think watch J.J. McCarthy yesterday and watch Caleb Williams, there's not a lot of intermediate throws that he misses on. And he makes a lot of throws that would be the top five throw of a quarterback's day. He was more on time. He grew, I think, from week one to week two. They're not there yet. This team's not there yet. And I think ultimately what happens is, and I threw cold water on this last year because of the hype train, there's no doubt he's got tools, and I still feel that way. But you don't just insert a quarterback into a locker room and all of a
Starting point is 01:01:31 sudden win the Super Bowl. Okay? It doesn't work that way. This roster's a little ways off. Okay. You want him to score 50? Like, is that how you're going to win games in the fucking, in the NFC North? I think he looked fine. I think the bears are further behind than people thought, and that's okay if you understand what you're looking at. But if you don't, you put it all in the quarterback. You put it all in the quarterback.
Starting point is 01:01:57 I think that the fucking, the bears, their measuring stick was the lions, and it showed them how far away they still are. and the lions a week ago, their measuring stick was kind of the Packers from a roster construction standpoint. It's an even bigger delta between the Lions and the Bears than it is between the Packers and the Lions. Like there's a ways that they have to go. So, Bo, I know you look to this game closely. Yeah, I mean, first of all, I love the levity out of you, Chris. That's rare in this media-driven industry, you know?
Starting point is 01:02:28 Where was the levity? The levity. I think, like, Caleb Williams is so polarizing. And people love. Pop quiz, what's levity? Levity is just like, you know, just nice. No, no. No.
Starting point is 01:02:44 He does it. He's laughing. I don't know, but I wouldn't try to explain it if I did it. Levity is more like keeping it light, having fun. You know, like humor. Well, I love that, too, out of you. Anyway, what I was saying. I love the levity, too.
Starting point is 01:03:03 You know, good job keeping it levittitious. Levittitious. What was I even talking about? Oh, yeah, yeah. Caleb Williams, right? So I think the interesting thing to me is, you know how it goes with the beginning of games offensively, like you have a script, okay? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:20 And a lot was made about, you know, the first game of the season for Caleb Williams who went 10 for 10 or whatever. Like there's points early in this game where he looked really good. They got a little behind early. The fumble kind of derailed them. there was a stretch where they were they looked really in rhythm like it seemed like he was following ben jons's script like they had their plan and they were sticking to it and i'm like okay like i see this like i'm loving what i'm seeing on a kaleb williams and then they kind of got off
Starting point is 01:03:48 script especially at times with that pick that he threw he's being chased down and trying to second and 32 yeah and through a bad pick and it's like you can see that the tools are there you just want to see them like stay on task stay on script kind of keep their plan and going and progressed throughout these games. And then obviously this game got away from them because the lions were murdering them, murdering the Bears defensively. But like, I'm with you, man. Like I like what I'm seeing from Caleb Williams. I think that there are going to be points where he puts it together. The big thing for me and you kind of touched on this too is, you know, at this game, like the lions looked so poised. They looked just comfortable offensively.
Starting point is 01:04:29 They crush it. But where my mind kind of goes with that is like, I think the Packer are just really that fucking good because they made the bears look really bad in week one. Or they made the they made the the lions look good. I think the lions will tell you, hey, we'll play a lot better when we see them the second time. And I think, I think, you know, like listen to Kevin Joseph talk about, talk about, you know, their defensive performance the first week. Like they did a lot of things well, you know, like from a number standpoint, like he was making a case of the post. even about like hey we weren't that bad we're not that far off i think that's what they believe
Starting point is 01:05:09 i think they think they'll be in that that game but like you got the lions on the worst day you got dan campbell like that was like dan campbell without a dip you know what i mean like he he was he was he was um he had nicotine withdrawals like that's the kind of mood the lions were in dude and um and in that scenario you don't want to see that team i will say this about chicago they ran the ball well they got on the perimeter ran the ball well but i'm sure you saw that like i honestly think this is one where people are going to look at the scoreboard and blame it all on the quarterback but no quarterback can win with 52 points on the board to beat the lines you have to you have to keep the game in phase and they didn't do that so chris the bears had 134 yards rushing yeah i like what
Starting point is 01:05:56 i saw swift two 12 carries 63 yards like you had a fumble that wasn't good, but here's, yeah, I mean, offensively, there's not a lot the bears can do. I think the biggest thing that I want to mention earlier, and I forgot, the, the lines of line looked phenomenal. And that's a good unit, you know, they miss Rag now. They had to shuffle some pieces around in the interior of their offensive line. Zitler left, shit like that. But like, they didn't give up a single sack.
Starting point is 01:06:20 Yeah. They just looked like so comfortable. The entire team coming off of a week one loss on the road, like, you're at home, you're against your, you know, when you're former guys who. left to go to bears division rival they looked so poised so comfortable everything they were doing was working sick one-handed snags from tesla so much space was intermediate throws from goth that we see like they looked like the lines from last year and that's i mean that's kind of what you want to see after we keep in mind uh john morton kelvin shepherd just started yep so like give him some time
Starting point is 01:06:54 um you know and i i believe in detroit now i also believe in the quarterback on the other side i think he'll be fine. Like, watch the tape. I implore somebody to watch every throw he made because there's a lot of zingers down in the middle of the field where you're like, damn, not a lot of guys can put that much mustard on intermediate throws with the accuracy and the quick release. Like when you hone him in to actually play within the structure of an offense, he's going to be fun. That's up to him. Right. And Ben Johnson. So I think that's exactly where you saw the jump this week was that confidence cutting the ball loose down the field. We all saw those throws week one where you're like you just want to see him take it those throws were
Starting point is 01:07:32 schemed open he's playing faster than he was last year and just to throw out a pretty wild stat with as good as Detroit's offense was yesterday the bears have more explosive plays yeah on the day it's kind of crazy it was pretty wild by the way james and williams uh went off good for my fantasy team uh i'm whooping macken's ass at tex him last night he's like you're a real sicko playing fantasy football i'm like bro okay i love that um seehawks Seahawks, Seahawks and Steelers. Listen, we told you, Seahawks, good-looking football team when they put it together,
Starting point is 01:08:07 and they weren't perfect yesterday. I mean, threw two picks and got a field goal, I think, blocked. But I love the way the offense looked as the game went on. I love the first drive, and, you know, they hit kind of a rough patch, and then in the second half got after it, and I thought Sam Darnold, you're starting to see the Kubiak,
Starting point is 01:08:27 offense that we imagine you know got more at a cup saw more verticals saw more saw more play action that really married up with the run schemes like when you're watching that game they'll hit you for a play action
Starting point is 01:08:42 and you'll be like oh I just saw that I just saw that same look they set it up they'll come back to it they came back to things in the run game like TJ Watt does a fantastic job of closing space on the backside of runs where he'll backdoor the tight end,
Starting point is 01:08:59 which is kind of a no-no for human, for like mere mortals, but for him he'll hook the tight end and slingshot himself inside and make the play in the sea gap when it cuts downhill on the backside. They caught him doing that, and they came back to it and hit a backdoor,
Starting point is 01:09:16 one-cut run for like an explosive. You know, the toss play was great. You got Cooper Cup cracking, the left tackles out in space. I thought like it just looked like what I imagine Seattle's offense would look like. And Darnold, even when it's off script, and I thought like, hey, Gray's Abel was playing well. I think he's giving up like one pressure in two weeks.
Starting point is 01:09:38 So you're happy about that. Abe Lucas has to play better. But the thing for me is when you are off script, Donald actually gives you a chance. There was a moment, third and seven was seven minutes ago. And it was loud. And it's a one score game. And you give the ball back.
Starting point is 01:09:53 And I think at that point, like all the momentum is in Pittsburgh's favor. And I think on that play cross is wrong. They got full slide to the right. Cross kind of stays put. And, you know, Charbonnet can't pick up Queen. Queen, knife's in the middle of pocket. Darnold just bobs and spins out of the pocket, finds a tie down with a little tear drop. And it wasn't his best throw of the day, but it was his best off-script play.
Starting point is 01:10:18 And I think there were other moments where the offensive line might have missed a, you know, protection here or there and he can make you right i also think the one thing about him that that you know you heard a lot in camp is like when i'm in jsn said this when i'm in my break the ball's out like when i turn my head the balls on me so when he plays like that they're pretty good and the run game was good and again like steelers i'll i'll defer to to to bow on this and the steelers defense in a moment but i thought the offense married the run in the past beautifully and it looked a lot more like what I thought Kubiak would have. Yeah, I got a couple things on this game, Chris. The first is, so you look at the score of the game, 31 to 17, right? So the Steelers is,
Starting point is 01:11:06 that's not a unit. Defensively, you're not accustomed to seeing the Steelers give up 30 points, okay? And they've done it now two weeks in a row. A little bit of an asterisk here for this one because in the fourth quarter, an absolutely egregious error from the rookie. And that's why Hollow Man. Caleb Johnson for the Steelers, it's pretty inexcusable. I almost tweeted out that meme from Parks and Rec where it's like at Caleb Johnson at this point. I don't, I don't know the rules of the kickoff, the new kickoff, and I'm too afraid to ask. You know what I mean? But it's like, how can you have that happen? I mean, that's pretty bad. So that was a huge swing in that game. Like this game, even though it was 3117 was much, much closer in the fourth quarter.
Starting point is 01:11:51 that I think people realize. And it was a pretty good game. Like I'm pretty high in the Steelers. I'm actually very high on the Seahawks, even after that week one loss to the Rams. I just think defensively, the Steelers need to make some more big plays. You talked about T.J. Watt,
Starting point is 01:12:07 I think he's kind of one of those guys where they come in bunches, you know? And you want to see him make those big plays that he's obviously been accustomed to making all year. But, I mean, I like the Steelers. I think that this is a tough loss for them. But it's like it really comes out of that one mistake on that kickoff to me is what absolutely killed them. And that's what's so bad.
Starting point is 01:12:30 I mean, to me, it's, I was so frustrated about that. I also had another mention for this game. This was the anti-bevel Conway was the Aaron Rogers AI video that Fox put out. That was wild, dude. It was just like, like I was watching it. I was like, what the fuck is this? Like, it just looked weird. I hated it.
Starting point is 01:12:50 It made me feel like, I don't know. Made you feel weird. I think I missed this. Yeah. It was just him morphing from one thing to the next. Like when they morph from Green Bay to him sitting on the ground with an FDNY hat with an injury, like I was like, oh my God.
Starting point is 01:13:07 Look at him. Yeah. Can we get that going, Cowboy? Yeah, Cowboy show the people because we can actually show this. The NFL can't tell us to pump the brakes because it's an NFL property. I've seen one of these. Look at this. Watch when he, watch when he ends up in, uh, in New York. Oh.
Starting point is 01:13:25 With the fire department hat on. So, um, so, um, but I, Bo, I'm not saying I don't feel good about the Steelers, but if this is how they're going to play defense, then the whole house of cards doesn't work because they're not a team. I just have confidence. I just have confidence that they're going to get it right, man. That's, I didn't quite get there because I could distract it by that disgusting video. But I mean, I couldn't watch the game.
Starting point is 01:13:53 I didn't turn the game off. I was like, fuck this. AI, he's goddamn clankers. I guess what I'm saying is I have confidence that the Steelers are going to get it right. And, you know, especially defensively. Like they have a pedigree there. And I think they have the players more importantly. They also have a lot of fucking baller Wisconsin badgers on that defense.
Starting point is 01:14:16 And so I want to give them the benefit. fit it out. But no, I think they're going to get it right. I think it basically boils down to a critical mistake in the fourth quarter by a rookie who is, I'm sure, having a tough film session today. But I think the Steelers are going to get right. The more, I think, interesting question that I have for you, Chris, is like, I think the, like, how do you feel like the NFC West is going to shake out? Because the Seahawks are better than anticipated, in my opinion. I think the Seahawks, I pick the Seahawks to win the West. I don't know if they can beat the Rams. Part of making that pick was baked in Stafford's health. I'm not sure. And really, who gives a fuck what I say at preseason
Starting point is 01:14:56 as far as who's going to win the West. But suffice to say, I think Seattle's a good football team. Because I think they lead with the defense. We talk about the defense here in a second. And to your point, like, Rogers and the receivers are not on the same page yet. You know, D.K. was targeted six times, three catches, 20 yards. There's so many little moments. There's so many little like where it's you know be like hey should D.K. be sitting down in that void in the zone or Rogers throws an out and it's just you know outside somebody's outstretched arms and you're like well I don't think he missed that throw I think maybe it's something with timing you know the good news is Rogers is absolutely moving better the bad news though is he's going to have to because
Starting point is 01:15:37 Maffei was killing Fuaga like killing him or Fetano sorry Fuaga is these names of Fetano was getting smoked, dude, like early and often. Derek Hall, you know, also a beast. You know, I said that...
Starting point is 01:15:53 And Leonard Williams is wrong. Byron Murphy. Leonard. Leonard Murphy was great. Leonard Williams is throwing McCormick around like he was drunk. And like, honestly,
Starting point is 01:16:02 I said coming in this week, like, this is a really good line, top to bottom and maybe better than the Jets, right? Like in comparing the two challenges for the Steelers and people were like,
Starting point is 01:16:10 what? I'm like, look at this fucking line play, dude. The guys inside, read included. can really play Hallam Maffa or like demons outside. So, you know, Josh Job stepped up.
Starting point is 01:16:21 Five targets, one catch, one yard, and an interception for our guy, Josh Job. How about that? They took Job's cattle. So anyways, I'm totally distracted now. Hold on a second. Steelers, 30 points twice last year. That's going to be a problem.
Starting point is 01:16:40 That's going to be a problem for them. Like absolutely twice this year, they're already at 30 points in a game. And you mentioned T.J. Watt. I'm sorry, I am going to move on. The network execs are telling us to hurry up. But they've lost Highsmith for four to six weeks. So you ask, like, why doesn't TJ Watt make the plays?
Starting point is 01:17:00 Even with Highsmith on the field, TJ gets the kitchen sink thrown at him. And I think Tomlin's assessment post game was like, well, if we can't stop the run, you know, what you're asking is where's T.J. Watt? Like, we're talking about one phase, and that's pass rush. They're going to chip. They're going to throw tight end. at him it's only going to get harder now and her big really has step up so I think I think the Steelers they had jet lag yeah they played the Jets last week and so they played Jets
Starting point is 01:17:26 Hangover yeah yeah yeah that's the Jets hangover name oh so what's the name of a jet lag it's for the Jets hangover oh I like that the Jets the Jets play physical this year yeah well what do you think it applies you think Buffalo's gonna have jet lag we'll see now all right so uh we've got Dallas and uh we've got at Dallas and the Giants. Go ahead, guys. All right, let me start with this one. This is my fly on the wall. I would have absolutely have loved to have been on the sideline for like early in that game, the giant sideline with what's his name, James Hudson, Hudson, four penalties in a row. It was like false, no, it was unnecessary roughness, false start, unnecessary roughness, false
Starting point is 01:18:10 start. And it's like you're watching it. I had the quad box up and I just, keep seeing it in the bottom right corner all these flags are the same guy and they're zooming in on him i'm like this is like i've had fucking nightmares like this where you just can't get a single thing right and gregg olson so i like switch over on the broadcast and gregg olson's like they just got to like you know take him sit him down get him some water tell him to calm down and i'm like yeah that's definitely what they're doing gregg and that like one series later they pull him and he's freaking out on the sideline so that's my fly in the wall is what were those conversations like more importantly, like, what does your O-line coach say to you in the meeting room when that happens?
Starting point is 01:18:50 Kind of when that situation unfolded early, I'm like, there is no way the Giants are going to play well. They can't get out of their own way. This is the most absurd, like, statistic, graphic I've seen four penalties and like five, five penalties and like five plays or whatever it was. But then it, like, turned into an absolute banger of a game. And I was shocked to see that along the same lines. my guy Russell Wilson looked vintage. He gets a game ball for me. 30 for 41 for 450 yards and three TDs. This game went into overtime.
Starting point is 01:19:23 And honestly, I don't think I've ever had as much fun watching a Cowboys Giants game. I like what I'm, I mean, that's saying a lot. That's saying a lot because fuck both those teams. But like a lot of things that I liked, I'm just going to talk about a couple individual performances, like really like to see Malik neighbors get going,
Starting point is 01:19:43 catching those moon balls from Russ. You see the frustration from him in week one. No such thing as like a good loss, but I feel like the Giants are probably happy about that connection going forward. I mean, he had 167 yards, two TDs. The final like 57 seconds or whatever it was of that game was like really thrilling.
Starting point is 01:20:05 I'm really liking what I'm seeing from Cam Scadabo too. Like that guy is kind of a fucking dog. I love the way he runs a fucking dog. I love the way he runs a football. He just seems like a tough-nosed guy. Probably fits in well in New York. But, you know, the Giants just kind of kept coming at him. And they looked like dog shit earlier,
Starting point is 01:20:22 especially with a lot of those penalties. And then they got hot behind Russ. And it was fun to watch. Talking about the Cowboys a little bit, like, Dak played well, 361 yards, two touchdowns. Was dishing it to CD pretty good. And then Jake Ferguson, a UW Badger alumni.
Starting point is 01:20:41 It's just a good game, man. Like I liked, I liked what it was dramatic. It was fun to watch. Like I said, like, it was probably the best game I've ever seen between these two teams, most entertaining for sure. Game ball, shoddy. First NFL win. Somebody wrote, he has $199 to go to catch his dad,
Starting point is 01:20:59 but I crossed up with Shottie, dude. Shottie's a good dude. I didn't even talk about the most impressive thing from that game, Chris. What is it? I fucking hate kickers, a 63-yarder. He's the reason you watch Cowboy games. That's incredible, dude. That's incredible.
Starting point is 01:21:17 Like, he just didn't have a hold. I don't even know what to say about that. He hit that in basketball, I say from downtown. Yeah, from the tip of the star, dude. Crazy. Yeah, exactly. Guys unbelievable. They're adding clowny.
Starting point is 01:21:30 I think that's like, from what it sounded like coming out of the game, they need pass rush and they can't get in single high. They're just not built for that right now. You know, funny-ass me, like, about them getting clowny, and it's the Flexio commercial. Yeah. It's like Cowboys defense. And it has a whole, like, it has a jar, has a whole. Gedian Clowny.
Starting point is 01:21:55 Jadavian Clowny. Teams have been flexi and Gadio and Gavian Clowny for years. Hell yeah. That was my question for you, though, Nolan's like, what fuck are the Cowboys doing in coverage? Yeah. I mean, dude looks crazy. They're just not. It's crazy.
Starting point is 01:22:11 Like, you're just letting guys burn by him and not passing them off. It's like you have help here and you're completely not playing your defensive scheme. Yeah. I don't get it. Yeah. And I mean, start with the personnel. Like, Diggs had a tough day yesterday. He's your number one guy.
Starting point is 01:22:28 Bland is down. So that's going to leave more targets for carry, Elam. So they're just, they're not totally healthy back there right now. I mean, you don't want, you got 450 yards being thrown by. us that's a tough showing hopefully clowny and more pass rush helps them um but to your point about shoddy chris i think just something that's impressive to me about the cowboy's offense is they said all offseason we're going to come out and run the football and i didn't look at that running back group and think you know that was that was going to be too viable for them but they've done it the last two
Starting point is 01:23:01 weeks and what did he say before the season started everywhere i've been we've run the football yeah and you know people are like all right shoddy right but they're running the football and you know Honestly, like, from the little bit I saw yesterday, they do a good job moving the pocket, play action, you know, not just letting Dax sit back there and get teed off on by that defensive line, which, you know, if the Giants are going to be any good, those guys have to do some serious work. And it was fun watching Abdul Carter from what I saw yesterday. He's in on a lot of plays. He's a fun player to watch. Worst flight. Yeah. And it's going to be, he's going to keep being, it's the Giants and Daibble. Like, I just feel like Daible is. like right now to be a coach in the NFL and someone like dable i feel like every flight you're thinking am i done tonight yeah like because even if it doesn't feel that way it's like literally you could wake up any day and they'd be like you know what we're just going to go a different direction
Starting point is 01:23:58 and that can be coming at any time and i just couldn't imagine having that like feeling or floating through your head especially after a loss because like now from here on out every loss that you have even maybe every win. Like, I don't know the temperature fully in that, in that building, but for sure, after every loss, you got to feel like if you're getting on a plane to go back to New York, you're like, damn, are they going to be waiting for me? Right. Get off the plane.
Starting point is 01:24:25 Yeah. Next game we've got is Patriots. Thriller. There's never a normal game played in Miami between these two teams. I thought Drake May did some really nice things. There was one throw he made to, I think it was. was bute in the end zone. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:24:43 It was like, you know, angry birds? Yeah. It was an angry bird. Like, it was a tear drop, bro. When he caught it like under the, yeah, and he put touch on balls like that. The thing I like about Josh is like, yeah. The thing I like about Josh is like,
Starting point is 01:25:00 that guy's going to have outlets. He's going to have, he's going to be coached to work. I don't know what his progression is, but like top to bottom or whatever it is. But like when he ends up late in the down, and he has nothing. He hits the checkdown. And there is a checkdown available. I think a lot of offenses could learn something from that.
Starting point is 01:25:17 But they are playing the dolphins and dolphins defense, which is bad enough that it's catapulted them to the bottom of pro football talks power rankings. If you're into that, they're 32, which is a wild thing to think about like how wide open the window looked for them a year or two ago. I thought the throat of Ramandre Stevenson was awesome. Ran right by the backer, put it right.
Starting point is 01:25:41 on him, you know, ran away from Judon in the Red Zone. We skipped a game, guys. Did you realize that? Yeah, it's going to bring it up next. Yeah, we'll hit it next. So all in all, I just think it was a good step forward for the Patriots. I mean, you've got a chance to be 0-2 in Bravel's first two games as a head coach in New England. That would have gotten kind of ugly. This was a big moment for them, albeit against the team that's not very good. But again, when they go down there, it's never easy. The other thing is this. I look at the two rookie offensive linemen, and those guys played well.
Starting point is 01:26:23 The more I watch Will Campbell, I really get it. He's got a really good anchor. And by good anchor, I mean, like, he's not built like a guy who you necessarily think would just be like a huge dude that's going to be, you know, he's going to stick in cement. But when he clamps down and anchor, his feet he's got good back strength where he just holds rushers up he doesn't have the longest arms we're going to talk about that probably all the way through his rookie season but uh the guy can
Starting point is 01:26:49 play and so when you hit on both your offensive linemen up front that's pretty good now kicker when you talk about drafting kickers okay this guy's been having a tough run through two weeks um was able to make some big big kicks down the stretch made a big kick down the stretch um and and i got it is a is a sidebar is it not the hardest time to be a kicker in well maybe not in the history of the game because you know kickers used to kick outside now most of the kickers are kicking inside but what got me thinking about it was this like this um this kicker's such a what generation is this gen x or z what is it z or x gen z okay like guys got swag like he has like fuck he's he's wearing like cool number he's got like tattoos and shit like he's a cool looking guy and I
Starting point is 01:27:38 I think about it just had me thinking about like the social media era where I'm like, damn, it has got to be like every mistake you make is all over Twitter. It's all over timelines. It's like everybody knows that there's different angles. The whole thing. Like I think it's it's a really hard era to be a kicker in the NFL. And to be a drafted kicker in the NFL, the way it's going for like the Jake Moody's of the world. It's almost like a cardinal sin not to draft one.
Starting point is 01:28:04 So just to make a kick like that at the end of the game, that was big. and for a minute your heart stops because A-chan looks like he's in the end zone, steps on the sideline. Milton Williams seals the game with a sack all around, very positive day for the Patriots. It doesn't have to be pretty. The dumpster fire gets bigger in Miami.
Starting point is 01:28:23 You should have spoke up about your Broncos, I guess because they lost. Yeah, no, I didn't want to, we didn't even go to horse barn immediately. I was fine with that being at the end. This was the top tier game to me. I think the Colts look real. We said that last year,
Starting point is 01:28:43 like we were like, are the Saints real? Remember the way they started the season? But like to do what they did to Denver, Daniel Jones, they attacked Pat Sertain. Pat Sertan. They attacked him.
Starting point is 01:28:56 I mean, what was it? How many targets? I'll pull it up, yeah. It was like seven or eight patches. And a lot of them, a lot of them did come after, he sprained his ankle. No question.
Starting point is 01:29:07 But you're right. I know. Defending my guy. You got you. You're right. Nine targets, seven receptions allowed. Him at 85% is everybody else is 95. And so like just from a game plan standpoint, that certainly factors in.
Starting point is 01:29:23 The guy gets sting. But they went to him in key moments in the game. Like late third downs, backed up in the red zone. They went at him. Backed up, not in the red zone. Backed up. They went at him late in the game. I just think.
Starting point is 01:29:34 like if you're going to play man coverage against this team i mean i've seen them shred it i've seen them shred it and daniel jones made a lot of plays off off platform he also on one third and one beat um it was a cooper around the corner yeah like that's a thing you get with daniel jones that people i mean people forget they don't forget they've seen him in the open field running he's kind of fast if he's not tripping but like he's a big athlete and he's going to get you out of trouble and i thought the offensive line looked good. You obviously sometimes forget that Taylor is like he'd be the centerpiece on a lot of other teams.
Starting point is 01:30:08 So he breaks off a 61 yard run not to be outdone by Bajon Robinson, but like really good cuts on that play. And so I think they're a good football team, man. The D-Tackles played their asses off. The guys outside tackle, cross. You know, you talk about the RPO's. If you're going to play, you know, play this team and you're going to throw RPO's outside, like they tackle well. Kenny Moore tackles well.
Starting point is 01:30:33 So I'd like this Colts team. I think they're real. And for the Broncos, two terrible mistakes at the end of the game, really. The pick, which I get people pointing at me. What's going on? I'm right. Go ahead, Bo. I got something for you, Chris.
Starting point is 01:30:50 How about a best seat? Rigoberto Sanchez for the Colts. It's a good time to do it. Let's do it. Zero punts. Zero puns. I know. Colts scored.
Starting point is 01:31:00 Yeah, go ahead. Efficient. I'm just saying, that's a nice place to be. I mean, fuck all specialists except for Aubrey from the house, but like, hey, not a bad year for him so far. He's, he's clean. But no, what you're saying is a brutal mistake. I think the, the end of that game, I feel like you could pull up clips of field goal and,
Starting point is 01:31:23 you know, extra point. And probably 80% of them, you could have that, you could call that. No, it's a tough call. It's all frustrating. Well, how about this one? Literally on the Broncos' miss field goal, there's three dudes doing it, you know, on the cold side. But, you know. No, it's a tough call.
Starting point is 01:31:39 I agree on that call. It's a tough call. But the mistake I'm talking about is the interception, which Stewart got his hand on Nix. I mean, at that point, like, you got to go in the score. But it's third and three. Why are you throwing the ball? It's third and three from the 28-yard line. It's third down.
Starting point is 01:31:52 You're going to get points. Yeah. And we've been running the ball fine. That's like, and it goes back to last year. Run the ball. We don't need to be tossing. these passes all over the all over the yard especially taking shots we didn't need to take the fourth down shot last week run the ball let's get some yards and then you end up with a face mask on your late
Starting point is 01:32:10 drive yeah so there's some mistakes in that game late that like the Broncos are going to say hey man we were right there with a chance to win the game and I don't think I don't think it's going to be a thing now where people try Sartan all day or anything like that I just think they had supreme confidence in beating man coverage and scheming up open thrills. throws. Even contested throws. Like I heard somebody like Colts fan say like we didn't have any contested throws. I'm like brother, it was like tight man coverage all day. I mean, you know, just because he's not throwing into crowd, I think the receivers did a really good job to of bringing some of those balls in and there wasn't a lot of space to work with. So I thought it was a good day
Starting point is 01:32:49 for Daniel Jones and a good day for the Colts. And one more shout out. Those fucking D tackles for Indy are worth the price of admission. You know how I feel about those guys. So, um Daniel Jones second time in this career he's thrown for 300 yards or is the first or second time he threw for 300 yards consecutively in his career that's crazy whether it's one or two it hasn't been a lot he caught the ghost of pain man it yeah walked in there yeah how Howard a jones it won't love it one thing Howard's an issue Xavier and Howard out there is not the Xavier and Howard that we used to know. And that's okay, but like Ward's not going to be down all year. So, you know, you had to dip into the bag a little bit. So I think the Colts are a good football team. Who do they
Starting point is 01:33:36 have next week? Colts play at the Titans. Their first away games. It'll be interesting. Interesting indeed. See if Kim Ward doesn't have a little bit more magic. The magic's not translating to the scoreboard as much I like him. It's just he's not working with a lot right now. Okay, so we're going to keep going on these thrillers. Arizona and Carolina turned out to be a thriller. 27 to 3 at some point in this game. We almost had a 28 to 3 situation. Nate, your take was?
Starting point is 01:34:14 The Panthers need to play Andy Dolan. That's crazy to me. The Panthers need to play Andy Dolan. If they are serious about winning, they need to play Andy Dolan. I think Bryce Young is a guy that, Maybe he, I don't know what it is. You think that roster's ready to win? I think they would have a better chance with Andy Dalton in there.
Starting point is 01:34:36 And I feel like we've seen that last year and like, yeah, Bryce came in at the end of the year, won some games for them. But I feel like if I'm a full-time Panthers fan, like you want something like stable now. And it's like even me being a player and knowing how things go and you get used to. But the leash that you get for a quarterback for like a high, pick quarterback, I feel like sometimes that's not fair to everyone else around, like especially if you have a guy that you can probably, I feel like Annie Dahl
Starting point is 01:35:05 plays in this game, like they have a better chance of winning. And from week to week, I don't know. I don't know. And I don't know either. I don't know. Have you watched Bryce this year? Yeah, I just don't think he's good. That's, he spotted him, what, 10 points? y'all just don't you all just don't i mean i don't like him that's okay i hear what you're saying i i hear what you're i'm looking i'm evaluating the throws yeah i'm evaluating the throws and you know from week one to week two i mean no one looked closer to week two but week one i thought all the throws were on the money he threw a pick like a lot of guys last week he had two one of them's off somebody's hands but uh but i see a group that is not ready to protect him and i see receivers that
Starting point is 01:35:51 aren't ready to make the plays on a lot of these really nicely placed balls in traffic. I mean, McMillan made a circus catch that was for nothing yesterday, and he'll be good. But Legate's not, you want to talk about like a leash, like he's getting a long run here. I mean, the way he's played at times, you know, Renfro was on the street last year. I just don't see this group as supporting him where you're going to get an honest. honest look at Bryce. And if they want to play Andy Dalton great, then I would, what my hopes for Bryce Young would be is that he makes some other team happy because the Panthers, they don't deserve to see it through because they haven't set him up to win, in my opinion. And you mentioned
Starting point is 01:36:35 protecting Bryce Young announced earlier. Robert Hunt tore his bicep. Austin Corbett is out with a torn MCL. So two guys gone from that. Yeah, that's bad news. Listen, you got to cover the football up in the Josh Sweat Sack. Yeah. I got that. Like you don't throw the ball into traffic. you get hit, just burn it. Or take a sack. But you also, like, he's under siege right now. He was under siege week one. And he made some nice throws down the stretch last night.
Starting point is 01:37:01 100%. You're a Carolina fan, make them feel better. Like, how long am I, if I'm a fan, how long am I supposed to give? Bright, right? Young, I would, I would reframe the question. Okay. How long is it going to take for this organization
Starting point is 01:37:12 and get their shit together? Yeah, one of the worst winners in sports. And they were as bad as they were to be able to pick him for a reason. And they haven't made, leaps and bounds from a roster standpoint over the last couple years in my opinion. And we got out over our skis a little bit being like, oh, Panthers might be a tough out this year. Like, well, they haven't shown, like, for what? Like, what's the evidence other than hope? And hope is not a strategy. And to the point of Bryce's supporting cast, like this offensive
Starting point is 01:37:40 line, the protection, they're not even picking up simple TEs, ETs, like day one install stuff. but for Carolina fans I mean I would just watch that second half Bryce 230 yards three tuds the quick game so good when a QB is playing with the anticipation Bryce was in that short area
Starting point is 01:38:00 it was just automatic like five yard gains over and over and over I understand the turnovers I would put more of the blame on the protection in those situations but if if Bryce is the one who put them in the hole he's also the reason they got back into it and we're in a position to win
Starting point is 01:38:17 So I thought it was similar, like the way we talked about Caleb earlier, I came away from this tape thinking there's a lot more good than bad on this tape from Bryce. I think he just needs more help. Yeah, there's very few guys that can elevate a group like Carolina. Right. Here's another one. Best quarterback on the planet. He's got the best offensive coordinator, you know, Andy Reid, he's the offensive Bill Belichick.
Starting point is 01:38:45 Look at their offense. Wait, wait, wait, who's the best quarterback? Mahomes? Yeah, that's what they say, right? I don't know. Well, who do you think is the best quarterback on the planet? On the planet, like right now? Yeah, on the earth.
Starting point is 01:38:57 Lamar. See, that's crazy. That's what that's just me. Yeah. I just don't know how you can look at the track record, like, wire to wire in the postseason and everything and say. But for the sake of argument, play along. Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback on the planet.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Look how they look offensively. Yeah. Because he's unsupported. Yeah. And they get the best scheme guy in the world. So how do you think Bryce Young, who chances are, in my opinion, is a good NFL quarterback, looks with that fucking group around him. It looks like what you see on Sunday.
Starting point is 01:39:32 And so I evaluate a quarterback on when he throws the football and there's somebody open. Does he find the void in the zone? If he's beating man coverage, does he zip the ball out there with leverage? He's done that through two weeks. weeks for a lot of the film I've seen. Now, I'm not ready to be like Bryce Young's fan club leader, but what I'm not going to do is I'm just not going to like go with the flow and be like, yeah, well, he just needs to get bench because the team looks like shit through two weeks. Also, the other thing we need to talk about is like the Arizona Cardinals are a pretty
Starting point is 01:40:04 fucking good team. Yeah, they are. Like the secondary is, is awesome. The rushers, they don't have an A-Lister, but they get home. Callais. Calais. Callias is your A-lister. He's an A-lister, but he's not an A-lister now as a, you know. No, the Cardinals, I mean, offensively, great job going two for one into and out of the half. Kyler hit Michael Wilson, beautiful throwing catch. It was a seam right in the back of the ends. And then they come out of half, 71 yards and nine plays. James Connor punches it in.
Starting point is 01:40:36 That's it, man. Like that, that connection, Kyler and Kwan. Oh, Kwan McRide? Oh, my gosh. trick for on McBride. Every area of the field, man, vertically, horizontally. And McBride is a tough tackle after the catch too, man. No question.
Starting point is 01:40:52 He's a ball player. It's my team in Madden right now. Lost a tough one last night. We got to do that with you about that content. You got to let me talk shit for you. Play Madden and talk shit? Because I'll help you get a couple more wins. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:41:06 I'll help you get a couple more wins. Okay. Guys over there breaking control. Getting their heads. Hell yeah. Nice. So now we've got the. the we've got the flyover's all right Baltimore took care of business did what they were
Starting point is 01:41:28 supposed to do only note I have and I don't turn it over to bow is uh you know Kyle Van always out a couple weeks right now it looks like so we're going to see more Mike green that's an interesting thing of note otherwise took care of business scored a touchdown on defense that's that's how it's supposed to look when you play a team that's an 11 and a half point dog not like it's looked in the past at times. Yeah, I mean, 4117, scored on defense, like you said. I want to give out an STL Memorial for this game. Devontes Walker, three for three.
Starting point is 01:42:04 Hell yeah, brother. Three catches, three touchdowns. That's fucking tight. Slugging percentage. Things that, yeah, about as good as it gets there, Chris. Things I saw. I was really impressed by the Ravens defensively, like, Flacco, you know, I love Joe Flacco, but listen, they're just outmatched, all right?
Starting point is 01:42:25 I'm not going to get too much into the X's and O's here. The Ravens are just simply a better football team. The Browns are, of course, the Browns. Miles Garrett is really good. I think the Brown's defense is probably the biggest strength of their team. He had one and a half sacks. He had another series. Remember last week, I think he had like two sacks in a row or three in a row or whatever.
Starting point is 01:42:47 He had another series where he had a huge sack. and then followed up with a TFL. And then he had a really big sack in the third quarter to keep the Ravens out of the end zone. And then we've talked a little bit about Mason Graham. A lot of people in Cleveland didn't like that pick. I thought he actually played a really good game. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:05 That's a defensive scheme for Cleveland that we're familiar with Chris. You know, it's kind of nice to see a white defensive tackle wearing number 94 back there. But he had five tackles in a TFL. you know, despite giving up 41 points, I still think the Browns defense is solid, and I like that scheme. As far as offensively for the Ravens, Lamar Jackson looked good,
Starting point is 01:43:31 225 yards, four touchdowns. He had a sick pass to Hopkins that was almost a touchdown, but he did the vintage Lamar, like scramble, get a bunch of depth, you know, run around and then fling it. Hopkins had a great catch. I don't know, man. Like there's a block punt. Ravens just beat the shit out of them, honestly.
Starting point is 01:43:51 Like, you don't even get into it too much. Is New Hopkins back? Oh. Is this, is this? Do we, I didn't know. He had a, bro. He had to catch last week, too.
Starting point is 01:44:00 Yeah. Hopkins, like, he had to catch like booty. Like how booty had for, um, the pads like that come around the receiver and like catch it under, like behind their back. Yeah. And it was crazy seeing that. And to support your point, Nate,
Starting point is 01:44:14 Lamar is now the all time passing rating, uh, rating leader. So that's my goal. That's what I'm saying. No, I think Lamar's awesome. What we're talking about is the best of the planet. And, you know, I would argue if
Starting point is 01:44:28 we're taking, well, anyways, I'm not going to get into it. I love the Ravens defense, though. Hamilton is fucking awesome. He's really good. Wiggins, I think he had a pick that was nice. The only real touchdown they gave up was kind of a freak like double.
Starting point is 01:44:45 deflection. The Ravens just basically outclass the Browns and we all kind of thought it was going to happen. We did all think it was going to happen. And here's something that we all knew would happen down in New Orleans. Mack Jones getting the win and my SDL Memorial goes to Bryce Huff. If you're an Eagles fan, you know who Bryce Huff is. You might not like him. But you won the Super Bowl last year. Let's let bygones be bygones. I'm happy to see Bryce Huff, a guy who I liked a lot in New York, find his footing in San Francisco, making the game ceiling sack. Good for him. Good for Sala. You know, there were reps where I saw Mikel Williams and Nick Bosa meeting in the quarterback. Like, he's bringing these young guys along. Stout made a really nice play in pass rush.
Starting point is 01:45:36 Man, it was a gutsy win for San Francisco. It was. And I just want to take a step back and say, like, I get this kid a hard time because of his pass on reality shows, but Spencer Rattler, he got my respect. He was good. Watching this game. I think he was good. I think he played tough. Two weeks in a row.
Starting point is 01:45:55 He had a nice, he had a really nice pass up the sideline, like dropped it in his receiver. I forgot who caught that pass to start the game. And he had a nice, he had a nice drive. And he had a third down run. It was third and six. And he kind of got up out of the pocket. and he ran through two defenders to get a first down. And I was just like, all right, you're looking tough.
Starting point is 01:46:20 Maybe you're not the little high school shithead. It's almost like kids can grow up. They can. Absolutely. Absolutely. And if you go back and watch this game through, like, they were in this game and they were in this game mainly because of Spencer, Spencer Rattler. And I think that it's good to see guys improve and play well.
Starting point is 01:46:43 like because a lot of the tape that he has in NFL maybe isn't the best but to start this season even though they don't have wins dude it's an open tryout anytime you're on team like this really especially for a quarterback i've been on teams like this yeah spent a lot of time on teams like this people are watching your tape oh you know like maybe not a lot of people know what happened in that game they didn't see it live but other organizations are seeing it and ultimately a team without a quarterback like you've got a shot to be the guy you know that's not a that's not a that's not a that's not a a crazy thing to say. He can play them out of a situation where they might pick at the top of the draft. Do I think that's likely? Not necessarily, but he might play well. And he looked good yesterday. Very respectable. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And one more thing, Carl Granderson, who, uh... Heard his name. So much. Yeah, he's a, he's a good player, man, and tied for league in sacks. Seven tackles, two sacks yesterday. And, uh, also chased down a would-be touchdown last week on, I think, a toss play. Yeah. Just gave great. effort in that scenario it's fun to see guys who play hard make the plays good on him it's crazy there's
Starting point is 01:47:50 such a like a small time game now but we have like in the past you would think hearing christian mccaffrey versus erin i mean alvin camara like oh my god like they used to be two the top names for running backs but it was watching this game it was good to see that christian mccarthy still has a little wiggle to him he was making some moves and some cuts that make me like or if anyone's watching believe that but he's not injured he's not totally washed or anything yeah he's not washed or he feels like he's healthy and he can actually play and you can see how he moves and some of the reason why like people get hyped about him and and the type of stats he could put up and then also like him in the past game like he had a really nice route and touchdown um
Starting point is 01:48:35 from mac jones in that game so that's that's cool and they lost did they lose uh juice shack You, Sheck? Yes. So they keep losing their core guys. You know, this is going to be a tough, tough road for them. But starting 2 and O. And Mac Jones. That's big.
Starting point is 01:48:55 Gives you a little. And I'm hating a little bit because the Mac Jones that we've seen yesterday, I'm not going to lie, is me being a Jacks fan, this is the Mac Jones that I wanted when Trevor got hurt. Yeah, but you didn't have, you didn't have Kyle Shanahan. Absolutely. Absolutely. You know, Mac, when he was in New England and looked solid, like he had Josh McDaniels and that sort of thing.
Starting point is 01:49:14 Like, I don't think he's a great quarterback, but, you know, I think he's a dirty player, kicks a bunch of deep line and the dick. Absolutely. He's the football gracing out. But I got to call it how I see it. Yeah, he's the football gracing out. That's what I, that's exactly right. That's exactly right. That's exactly right. So anyways, those are the flyovers. No, we got Buffalo and New York. I'm impressed with Buffalo playing a game that featured 81 points and went until damn near midnight last week against the other class of the AFC team. And they come out and they're playing this Jets team that's supposed to be real physical and
Starting point is 01:49:54 run the football and all that shit. And Buffalo basically flipped the script, possessed the football, ran the ball hard, got their work done. They've matched up against the Jets in the past and really struggled to put points on the board. So leaving the game saying, hey, 30 points right after the half, like, we're in good shape. That was a good win for them. Down Ed Oliver, down some guys. Good win for them. I love the drama and the narrative with the Jets and now Aaron Glenn because he made a statement and he made it clear that he doesn't tolerate fumbling.
Starting point is 01:50:30 And fumbles help you lose games. And went into an interview said that and then cut a player for funble. fumbling. Yeah. And you start the next game and the second or first series, your quarterback has a really costly fumble. So it's just one of those things that I just think it's going to be a funny narrative because now that he did that and he cut a guy like after saying all that stuff, anytime someone fumbles, everyone's going to be like, are you going to cut him or are you going to do that? I don't think they're going to do it with the quarterback. That's just me. What if he did? I crossed my mind.
Starting point is 01:51:09 Would you respect it? Would you respect it if he did? I would be like, that's the most OD shit in the world in a really, really clever way to tank. It's a really clever way to tank. Rules or rules. What you got, bro? Mabel Conway.
Starting point is 01:51:24 There's something about Josh Allen with a busted up nose all plugged up, blood in his mustache. It just feels right. You know, football's fucking back, dude. I love that. But when I watch his game, close. I want to watch a run game for the bills. You know, you kind of hit on it briefly. I'll be, I'll try to be quick here, but hurry. They jumped up on them pretty early, 20 to 3. I really love what
Starting point is 01:51:47 they're doing on the back side of their belly open out of quarterback under. So they get into 13 personnel, tight end wing on one side and that kind of a yo on the other side is really smart, huge B gaps, okay, to the front side of the block. So to the side of the yo. And then what they're doing is out blocking in the Nye technique with the tight end on the wing side, you know what I mean? And then folding the other tight end in to get them up to the will. And then every time they must have run this play like, I think they had 40 runs, 43, 40 that I watched, probably like 12 of them. Start to the open side and then it would roll all the way back in that C gap. And James Cook had a great game, man. He 21 carries 132 yards. Like the bills just look really complete. Like they also had a bunch of
Starting point is 01:52:35 you runs in there which is like what I call it's like two back power or like dive solid but they just do the build look really complete I really like what they're doing they had a great game plan here they got up on them early possessed the ball pounded the rock and just put them to bed and it was it was a good showing for them they they you know how teams play keep a way to keep like another quarterback off the field like they were like we're not going to let our defense get the ball run up its ass like we're we're just going to keep our defense off the field and hold on to it. But they won this game completely differently than they won, you know, the previous week against the Ravens. And that's what I think the important
Starting point is 01:53:13 takeaway is here. Like the bills are a good team, man. They know exactly what they have from a personnel standpoint and they ride those guys. And that's what they did here. Like, they won this game on the back of their O line and their tight ends blocking. I was really impressed by. And then Josh Allen is Josh Allen. So it was a good showing from them. It's funny because it feels like this year, like every turn in the road, we're, like well that's it for the bills like a couple years ago we were like well the windows closed like going in the last year they don't have anybody outside they end up at the doorstep of the thing and then like after last year you know everybody's kind of like well that was cool can't beat my homes
Starting point is 01:53:50 like who do you think wins a game if the bills and the chiefs play right now and i'm sure we can look back at this in december and maybe or january maybe i get killed but i think the bills are more clearly the better team out of those two teams than they have been it least early in the season over the past couple years. It's really, to me, looking at the rosters and looking at everything, it's like, you're going to see that Bill's Ravens game again. Those two teams are the class of the AFC right now. And it's early.
Starting point is 01:54:17 But we said what we said about Kansas City, and a lot of it is they're trapped in place. Josh is fucking sensational. He's sensational. All right. One more. Oh, Titans Rams. Last one. I can take us through us.
Starting point is 01:54:33 Yeah. Talk to us. us through this. Take us through us. All right, so this game, obviously good win for the Rams, big day for Nakuwa, took a jet sweep to the house on fourth and one.
Starting point is 01:54:47 Devante Adams went over 100 yards, notched 12,000 career receiving yards, tip of the cap to him. But the lead here is Cam Ward with one of the greatest plays you will ever see. He threw a touchdown pass. All right a matter. How he even saw him.
Starting point is 01:55:05 by comprehension. He's running directly the sideline. He's outside the numbers of the 25. Damnir flips his hips 180 degrees, drops it in a bucket, outside the numbers in the back of the ends on the other side of the field. Unbelievable play. Titans actually did a good job running the football in this game, which you can do
Starting point is 01:55:23 against the Rams defense. But just for what's working against the Titans here is just bad tackle play. They've got to be better. This quarterback can do special things. You just got to give them a chance. And obviously, the flip side of bad tackle play a lot of successful pass rush reps byron young's rolling he he he if i may go ahead a lot of people make a big thing about verse he's pretty fucking good too now
Starting point is 01:55:49 i don't want to get into the either or thing or like but he he he is turning into a blue chip rusher oh yeah and now they have a third guy in the rotation too um josiah stewart the rookie yeah i believe third rounder out of Michigan. He's put some good rushers on tape the first two weeks here. So they have a real stable of young rushers in L.A. So just an impressive performance, Stafford, looks as good as ever. Five is six. What are we just horses to you? Fast rushers are just horses to you?
Starting point is 01:56:20 A stable. Yeah. Yep. A stable of Russia's a compliment. No, it is. You want to be called a stallion. Yeah, sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:30 I'm a Clyde Stale, boys. down. Yeah, he was. He's like the Budweiser horse. I'm a fucking donkey. Mm-hmm. It's a work animal. That'll do,
Starting point is 01:56:39 Beau. Locals landline. Oh, fuck me. Yeah. Oh. Yeah. So we have one return caller. We'll hear him later.
Starting point is 01:56:55 But, yeah, we got a couple, all you great locals. Kick us some voicemails. People. love the voicemails. You can be famous. Balls are from...
Starting point is 01:57:09 Do you ever just wonder how... No, that's me. Talking about frying my balls under my laptop. Oops. What's the number? I was like, I recognize that guy's voice. I'm hoping we get a call back. What's that sound? Is that the sound of a drove
Starting point is 01:57:25 of bulls running down the road? Nope. Is that the sound of a pack of jaguires sprinting across the plane? I don't think so. Could it be the sound of a group of titans stampeding through the village? Not even sure if Titans have to be, so probably not them. No, boys.
Starting point is 01:57:46 That's the sound of a herd of stallions. I'm talking fucking Mustangs. Also known as the Indianapolis Colts who are just fucking barreling their way through the AFC South right now. Yeah. Who! Yeah. Man, we're like the Flintstones.
Starting point is 01:58:05 We're having a gay old time up in this trip. I'm about three-quarters of the way through a fairly pregnant raw cone. Yeah! I'm at the conclusion. Rather fortuitously, but I've come to the conclusion that this is why I love the NFL. Because I can now say, with utter confidence, that the Colts were winning the fucking Super Bowl, brother. brother everybody we're back we're back we are winning the fucking Super Bowl I'll tell you what it's gonna feel like you want the job well done if the bucks lose
Starting point is 01:58:43 tonight and you're in sole possession of the AFC South 2 and O like you got a real chance to you know I'm happy for fucking Daniel Jones Daniel Jones just the just the highs and lows of life and being in the NFL like especially a quarterback no doubt You go from being in the organization where everyone in that city and that state wants you to fuck out because they think you're never going to give us a chance. And look at this. You go and you play two games for a different organization and you have people saying that they're going to make the Super Bowl and feeling good about you. That's a great, that's a great feeling. And hopefully he keeps playing well.
Starting point is 01:59:26 It's also great just that you're playing well. It's good. No question, man. I mean, how many times have we seen, and I know we say, hey, top five pick quarterbacks, they get way too long a leash, but like first round quarterbacks,
Starting point is 01:59:41 they have talent. That's why they're picked there. Exactly. You know, like, and sometimes you totally miss. But, you know, we talk about all the time. Coordinators, coaches, all that place.
Starting point is 01:59:52 It's a huge big thing. Like, getting into the NFL, like, yes, you need certain things, like, that like physically to get you win, but then like the next, the mental step for a position like quarterback, you have to find the right teachers and people around.
Starting point is 02:00:08 He's just one of it, he's part of the 85% where it's like, you know, we've talked about this before, where just a small percentage of guys, you can plug them into any system. Position players, quarterbacks, put them in any, those are your all pros of the world. Like, and I'm talking about all pros over and over again.
Starting point is 02:00:24 You can make an all pro being in the right place of the right time. But I'm talking about the guys who year he's not one of those guys okay he's like everybody else where it's like when things are good he can be good and right now things are good we talked about the weapons they have and i think shame deserved a lot more grace than he got working anthony richerson in who was a total project uh now we're gonna we got anthony rich or we got a lines fan uh they called last week our guy div yeah and if you remember he called for jared goof and yes
Starting point is 02:01:00 That's great. Yep. What's he saying now? Hey guys, Biv here, Lifelong Lions fan. Called in last week. I was a bit frustrated. And, you know, I went on a long walk after the loss last week. And I looked down at my feet and underneath my feet where the ground is,
Starting point is 02:01:24 I saw the Chicago Bears and Caleb William and Ryan Poles and Ben John. and down there in the dirt. And I realized, you know, as a Lions fan, I don't have it that bad. But, yeah, week two, much different story from week one. You know, I'm kind of changing my whole mind on the team on where I was last week. I'm thinking we're making a good run this year. I think it's Super Bowl, you know, this might be the year. Golf looked a lot better.
Starting point is 02:01:56 He wasn't goofed this week. He was back to the same old golf ends. You know, Dan Campbell, he has my trust again. He never lost it, actually. You know, I was just upset last week, but I've always loved the man. I always will. But, yeah, I'm thinking soupy. Pretty good week, not overreacting or anything.
Starting point is 02:02:18 Just, you know, I see how it comes. And, yeah, great week. Chicago, feel really bad for you. They're fans. I feel really bad for you. But, you know, it is what it is. Don't forget where you came from, man. That's what I just heard on that call.
Starting point is 02:02:38 If you're feeling soupy, go get you some Campbell's suit. What does soupy mean? Super Bowl. Oh, soupy. Super Bowl. Feeling soupy. Feeling soupy. What a bounce bad.
Starting point is 02:02:49 But that is dope to be that much of a fan and all it takes of you to see one game and you feel excited about your team. And it's all, like, that's the light bulb that goes on into your head is like we're going to the Super Bowl. Because I told you, like, I've seen some of my old teammates from the Bears in that first drive that Caleb Williams did last week. Like, they're all in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the, in the,
Starting point is 02:03:08 and they're taking shot. And they know better. And they're taking shots like, oh, Super Bowl this year. Dude, this game turns all of us into fans. It does. It really does. All right. Jake Thornton in the chat real fast said, this guy is like the girl whose guy cheated on her in a
Starting point is 02:03:27 dream. Oh, that's funny. Yeah. Two quick Eagles' voicemails. Very tempered Eagles fans. Okay, sure. Yo, what's off? Ricky from Rockborough.
Starting point is 02:03:40 Calling about them, E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles. First I got to say, back-to-back, belt-to-ass over Patty Mahomes. That dude's a fucking bum, but I do got to say something. Number one, go bird.
Starting point is 02:03:55 Number two. Our offensive coordinator, Kevin Petulow. That dude's IQ on the football field is too low. Run the damn ball with Sequin and get the ball to A.J. Brown. All I got to say is
Starting point is 02:04:09 Joe Birds, dickhead. Love it. You know what I love about the Birds fan? He was to the point. He had it like bullet pointed. And the accent is always fun to hear. I actually know, Ricky. Great work there, Ricky. That was really.
Starting point is 02:04:27 from you again next week. It's really good. That's a way. Belt to E.S. Yeah. Petulow. I didn't know. I didn't know that. Too low. What, Philly? Philly and Boston? Y'all got the same accent?
Starting point is 02:04:38 No. No. That's not like, that sounds like the Boston. Hey, drink some water, fax. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Some water. We gotta get you hanging out in Delta. That, uh, that Boston accent is, no offense.
Starting point is 02:04:52 Cockies. The cockies. Dude, when you hear, when you see like a hot chick in a movie and she's got a Boston accent. I'm like, uh, like, like in, uh, like in the, like in the, like, Blake lively in the town. No, I was just about to say, Blake lively in the town. Like, like, can you, can you cast her as like somebody from like Alabama? Who's just in town? No, that, that does it for me, man.
Starting point is 02:05:13 You like that? I think it had a lot more to do with Blake lively. Like the perfect intersection of trashy and hot. No. Perfect. I did, I would not think that guy was from, from anywhere in, in Philly or just not an attractive. accent in my opinion. Bo's all excited thinking about the town. That's just the
Starting point is 02:05:31 one case. That's the one outlier. Yeah. It's also Blake lively. I think it might have to do it with Blake lively. You're going to have three teeth. We'll still be into it. We got one more birds collard. Chris
Starting point is 02:05:51 is James. We've got to talk about these eagles, man. Now, this here's eagles. It's starting to look like that girl at the She didn't look too good when you walked in But you had a drink She looks okay
Starting point is 02:06:16 You had two drinks You're starting to come around Drop that full 12 pack And damn That she looked good Ten drinks later It's crazy Wake up in the morning
Starting point is 02:06:33 It's ugly again But guess what A win Is a win is a win. We're going to continue to half-ass dominate. Half-ass. I hope we get it figured out.
Starting point is 02:06:56 I'm trying to go back to back. We've got to do this. All right. You boys have a good one. We'll talk to you soon. That's the most realistic Eagles fan that I've heard. No, it was pretty good. No, that was good.
Starting point is 02:07:10 At first I was going to be like, hey, what you don't know is we're the best fucking team of all time. and then it became like very understandable. Yeah. You know. Yeah. That's how some people in the chat were made. That exact scenario there.
Starting point is 02:07:23 That's crazy. Well, I didn't say anybody in particular. Dang. You're saying our chat's parents? No, no. But I'm saying, you know, there's a lot of falling in love with a 12 pack in your belly, dude, you know? And there were some great ones left on the cutting floor.
Starting point is 02:07:40 There was a Jets fan who announced that he was divorcing his team. and becoming a Falcons fan. There was a brother-in-law that's called in. I was saying, divorceing his wife. I was like, Jesus. But hey, locals, 202-991-0723. Call in. Leave us some voicemails like that one. You know, crazier, less crazy doesn't matter.
Starting point is 02:08:01 Sure. We love to hear from you. Sure. You know, this football season, Bet-MGM wants to give you another chance at first touchdown scores with BetMGM's second chance promotion. You'll get your stake back in cash if your first touchdown scores second instead.
Starting point is 02:08:14 Bet on any pro football player to score the first touchdown of the game. If you're right, you win, which is my favorite part of the ad read. If you're right, you win. If your player scores second, you get your stake back in cash. Be sure to take advantage of this offer. And if you haven't signed up for BetMGM yet, use bonus code Greenlight.
Starting point is 02:08:36 And you will get up to a $1,500 first bet offer on your first wager with bet MGM. Bet MGM may get legendary. Bet MGM are number one America's teams, but who else did you have? Chicago sports fans because it feels like we're down bad generally and Chicago sports fans are also just generally down bad. 2020s have not been better, better good to anybody, especially Chicago sports fans.
Starting point is 02:09:06 2020's decade Bears, 29 and 56, Black Hawks 126 and 258 Golly them boys are skating aren't they It's a lot of fucking hockey games Bulls
Starting point is 02:09:20 195 and 205 White Sox 355 and 486 And then a combination Across all your major sports teams 1142 and 1353 I do want to point out that this is an inherently
Starting point is 02:09:35 sexist graphic that I am not responsible for that I plucked from the internet. How is this Chicago Sky doing? Let's see. Well, off of Angel Reese's comments. Nobody knows in here.
Starting point is 02:09:48 You bunch of things. You bunch of sexes. I'm saying 10.34. Jesus. So I guess they're pretty Chicago, really? Damn, Chicago. That's rough. At least your city's awesome.
Starting point is 02:10:03 They're sixth in the Eastern Conference. Jeez, Louise. They could make a late push, couldn't they? just got to win 24th straight yeah you know Indiana lost one of their studs you never know the last game they lost 91 86 on Thursday
Starting point is 02:10:22 that was the end of the season it's a hard fought battle the other America's team for me the overbetters this week I think the over hit at like an 85% clip I think it might have been higher I don't know if that's mathematically possible and then the last one for me the Syracuse Orange or Orange Men I'm not really sure but they play in the Orange Bowl this weekend against Clemson and we are all Syracuse Orangemen this week because I'm hearing
Starting point is 02:10:55 that the long national nightmare may be over soon Davos Sweeney maybe his days are numbered and I am imploring whoever the fuck plays football for the Syracuse Orange to play your best out there this weekend. Do it for America. What if we got dabbo? What if he come back to be with Elliot? What if they're like locked in like that? See? The grass isn't always greener. No, what do you mean? Would you like to have dabble? No. That's what I'm saying. So what if that happens? All that like, uh, we don't do an I L shit. That just doesn't work. That just doesn't work. It definitely doesn't. So, uh, I'm just not a huge, uh, Clemson fan. I got you. Um, I don't know who would have to get hired there to make me like Clemson.
Starting point is 02:11:37 I don't know if it's a chicken or the egg, but I'm rooting for the orange this weekend, the one team in orange. Who else y'all got for America's teams? I got a couple. I'll go, Chris. Oh, go ahead, Bill. Oh, go ahead, Nate. All right, I got a couple. Why don't you guys rock paper soon?
Starting point is 02:11:53 All right. First up, I got Don't Tell Comedy that's run by Chris Allen. We've been to a show before. Shout out to Chris Allen. Shout out to Chris Allen. I've been meeting a lot of comedians this past weekend. I met this comedian. Um, her name is, Jade Cataprata, who was absolutely, she was...
Starting point is 02:12:14 Jade Cataprata? Yeah. Oh, I know her. I know her sister Bianca. Her hilarious, bro, absolutely hilarious. And she can sing. She was rapping. She was doing a lot of stuff like onstage and her comedy act that I was very, very impressed with.
Starting point is 02:12:29 That's awesome. And I also met a comedian. His name is Jay Whitaker, who was from Englewood, California. And he is a lifelong diehard Raiders fan. And so when we started chopping it up and I was like, yeah, I do a podcast with Chris Long. And he was like, holy shit. And he goes, I'm going to tell you this. And he goes, you can, he's like, you got to tell Chris this.
Starting point is 02:12:51 He goes, Howie Long's haircut is the most stable thing I've had in my entire life. Yeah. Hell yeah. Because he's such a diehard's Raiders fan. And he was like, literally that haircut is the most staple thing like throughout my life. because how good how he was and how much of a fan I am of the Raiders. And I was like, that's hilarious. It's also a haircut that is always going to be around.
Starting point is 02:13:18 As long as there's war, there will always be my dad's haircut. And I don't see any of that stopping anytime soon. It's so great. All right. My next America's team is going to Bud Crawford, the new boxing goat on the male side. I feel like as a casual boxing fan and watching probably some of the only only like the bigger, bigger fights like this, I've seen a lot of Conello fights. And this is the first time I really seen Conello like being a fight where he's like really just getting beat up. And like Bud was like really hurting him.
Starting point is 02:13:56 And I think that was impressive to see. And then Bud had Angel Reese walk into his locker, locker room before the fight. to say hello. He's the way he shook her hand like this. And man, she, I think that's so great. She looked amazing. And it's funny, too, how much taller she is. She has heels on, but how much taller she is the butt.
Starting point is 02:14:19 Well, those fighters aren't real big. In this video, Bud right here, he switches the song. He changes the song to ain't no mountain high enough. Stop it, dude. Stop it, dude. Yes. See, yo. And then all the stories that's coming out about Bud after the fact,
Starting point is 02:14:38 it's just like, how can you expect to win a boxing match against someone who got shot in their head and drove themselves to the hospital? Did that happen to him? Yes. And then the clip of when he was growing up, how rough his mom was bringing up, bringing him, like his upbringing.
Starting point is 02:14:58 Like when he said he won the box, she didn't believe in him. And she said she went out on the street, And she offered all the local kids in the neighborhood $10 if you could beat my son up. And she said, no one could whoop him. No, she goes, no one, no one, no one. Was it a bet or was it just like you get paid out if you can beat my son? Like I have the money right here.
Starting point is 02:15:19 Like he thinks he wants to be a boxer. That's crazy. That is nuts. Bo, who'd you have? America's teams, Bo, who'd you have? I'm still processing that. That's incredible. The first one is pumpkin spice latte.
Starting point is 02:15:34 They're fucking back. It is the call. Yes, I'm going to keep it short and sweet. But yeah, it's just that time of the year. Go out and enjoy one. Please, please do. That's my number one. Number two, this one's a little bit out there.
Starting point is 02:15:46 I found myself a little high the other night. And went into a deep dive on Instagram.com. My next America's team is Stick Nation. Go check out official stick reviews on Instagram. Some truly incredible content. I'm really liking these sticks that I'm seeing. No ditty. What is Stick Nation?
Starting point is 02:16:06 If you don't know, you don't know, Chris. Go look it up. Stick Nation is electric. It's got 940 followers. Yo, pull it up. This time you're on the river. This is awesome. Yo, pull this up.
Starting point is 02:16:20 Look at that. You got a lightning struck stick here. Yeah. What's up, Stick Nation? This is Chris Long here from Green Lighton. How is this not getting the river? Fuck Jerry numbers. Guys,
Starting point is 02:16:35 he's like, technically that's a stick. Man, that's awesome, though. Look at that. It's just good. You know,
Starting point is 02:16:42 it's nice when you're on your explorer page and between the pickleball lifting videos, IG thoughties, you just come across some good wholesome content, all right? That was me the other night. Man, your algorithm sounds so peaceful.
Starting point is 02:16:56 It's just awful. It's like, just AI videos of Eric Rogers. It's not good, dude. Everybody in the back is like, my algorithms would fuck this week. Been off Twitter for a while. Jeez.
Starting point is 02:17:11 Oh, I got one more. Borderlands 4 just came out. It's a new video game. I'm a big fan of the Borderlands franchise. Oh, yeah. You're a gamer. Go get it. I'm going to get it.
Starting point is 02:17:23 I'm going to fucking play it all week. I'm very excited. And who'd you have for Trip King? Oh, yeah. Put that clip up there. cowboy put that shit on who is that Ray Ray McLeod
Starting point is 02:17:35 that is drip look at that yeah dude I will say the the short sleeve collared shirt with a long sleeve same colored shirt underneath is electric
Starting point is 02:17:47 but it's a collar shirt too under yeah oh really like look at the like look at the oh oh color shirt damn yo I want to be a receiver you can just like wear whatever the fuck you want dude
Starting point is 02:18:00 if I if I was a receiver I would just I would pretty much dress how I dress now yeah that looks incredible I might wear that to the only comment I would have for him yeah is like instead of a necktie maybe an ascot askot not everyone wants ass on their neck man can I can I shout out an account I5 commuters since we're kind of it seems like we're settling into shouting out some Instagram accounts. Have you all seen I-5 commuters? It's just dudes. It's just dudes yelling at cars.
Starting point is 02:18:37 It's incredible. You need to look them up. Don't look them up right now because we've got to get to Monday night football. But I-5 commuters, those guys are fucking hilarious. Let me do my viral. Big guy in a little car! Let me do my viral moment. Oh, yeah, hit that, bro. Hit that. My viral moment this week is going to USC
Starting point is 02:18:55 360-pound 65D-Lyman, Jamal Jerry. Oh, that's so good. Who had a 70-yard six. Look at this. Best bus ride. Oh, my goodness. But the most impressive thing about this is, bro, he's 360.
Starting point is 02:19:14 Usually big guys, when you run, like, they fall in the end zone and they show how tired they are. And he just opens up his stride and runs his 70 yards. And it's just amazing. Like, you don't get that a lot. I had a pick six in college, but it was for like 30 yards. And that felt like it felt like I was running forever. I couldn't imagine bringing a ball back 70 yards.
Starting point is 02:19:40 Oh, no. I mean, and the thing that was fucked up about it was I was watching him running. I was like, oh, that's a de lineman because he ran so well. And he was, but like, there was no scale next to him when I saw him in the open field. And I was like, wait, this doesn't look right. Like, that's a large person. 360 pounds is a lot of weight. No, I know.
Starting point is 02:19:58 And he carries it well. carries it real well um okay monday night monday night we got two games yeah who you guys like who do i like i like all these teams i that's the thing i like them all like them all like you know i picked the bucks to win the south i picked the texans to win their south i don't want to see the texans start owen too but you know i don't want a tie man and here's the thing chargers i Chargers fans are going to think I hate them. I don't think, I don't hate the, I love the Chargers. But I got this feeling tonight.
Starting point is 02:20:32 I'm going to bet the Raiders. They're catching like four points. They're catching four points. I have no idea what to do in the Bucks Texans game. Probably just bet the under. I think it's sitting at 42 and a half. It's just hard to imagine that the Bucks with the offensive line they have are not going to have a hard time with this group defensively.
Starting point is 02:20:52 I think it kind of comes down to the Bucks defense being lights out. Nice. Bucks Texans 7 p.m. Bucks are getting two and a half. The total is 42 and a half. Like you said, Chargers, Raiders, 10 o'clock p.m. Chargers, three and a half point. I'm buying the half.
Starting point is 02:21:09 I'm going to buy the fuck out of that half. 46 and a half. Yeah. Sprink a little low on the money line. And then have a bunch of Chargers fans in my mentions tomorrow tell me I'm a fucking asshole. Anytime touchdown. Gentry and Gentie.
Starting point is 02:21:23 Gentie. I like Gentry. I like Gentry. Gentry. Isn't there an NBA coach Gentry? Yeah. And if you want to sprinkle in a little parlay, put an anytime touchdown with Ladd McConkey.
Starting point is 02:21:39 Ladarius. Ladarius McConkey. Domino, look out. It is Domino. That's what they don't know, Nolan. That's what they don't know. So we will see. I can't wait for these two games.
Starting point is 02:21:52 The thing that sucks is like, I'm going to be up until four in the morning. fucking 10 p.m. game. You talk about East Coast bias. How about West Coast bias? Like, seriously, we're only not moving these games a little bit earlier because you guys work. This is fucked up.
Starting point is 02:22:09 Yeah, during that boxing match, it was on Netflix, right? And Mr. Beast was like one of the hosts. He does all these big stuff. And they had him in the front row. And, bro, by time the Crawford fight had came on, he's like dozing off. He's on East Coast time Like for sure
Starting point is 02:22:27 Hell yeah They're in Vegas on East Coast time And I was just like I'm like yo Everyone's up watching this And like you have to be tired I was I was like going like this Until that fight started
Starting point is 02:22:38 I just love all the guys who like I don't think of his dudes Got in a bunch of fights Being like the ones in the front row Of every UFC in boxing match now Yeah Like you know what I'm saying Like it's like yeah
Starting point is 02:22:51 I've never been in a fight Come here sit next to Dana White We'll make you look tough. Zuckerberg. It's up. All right. So anyways, next week, we're going to start to see things kind of clear up a little bit. Like the first two weeks of the season, it's hard to figure who's who.
