Thanks man, you know I'm layering today. It's getting a little cooler outside it really feels like fall. This is when... You're getting into your flannel gear? The first flannel of the year. This is late for first flannel. but I put on flannels all the time and the privacy of my own home,

but like to do it out in public, that's kind of like the start of a new season. So when you see me on a flannel, that means the fall has started. So last week, what do we do? We both would have been 3 and 0, except my pick, the Tennessee Titans got moonshined

by your boy moonshine Minshue. Sure did. And also, I didn't know some of the injuries that maybe there's neither here or there. It was early in the week. And it's week too, bro. You don't need to be making excuses for two in one week. And your chiefs got lung punctured.

Yeah, we didn't. I said I was taking the chiefs until they didn't cover. That's fine. I could live with that. Let's do week three for the NFL. Steve, you're up first this week. I had first last week. Okay.

I'm going to go with a couple, three games that don't make any sense to me, Chris. The first one is, Buffalo and the Rams. I feel like the bills should be given more points, which scares me. L.A. is played in Philly last week, went back, and now they're coming back to Buffalo. I don't like that through. I like what San Francisco did in that. And that's same predicament that during this week because they're playing at MetLife two weeks in a row.

Sorry, I can't talk right now. But last week was a week where I watched Josh Allen and I was like, I can believe in this guy. Yeah. I can do it. He showed me a couple things that I was like, I didn't know he had in his arsenal and everybody feels like all the Josh Allen fans that didn't know that did, knew that. But I was really impressed with what he had to do last week. I still think they could run the ball a lot better. They didn't even touch the run game.

I just, I like the spot for Buffalo here. I am a believer in them. So I like Buffalo laying the points. I also look at the Giants line and they should be getting more points. I know San Francisco has a bunch of injuries and they've been, you know, talked about like no other team gets injuries except the 49ers and want to play on the turf because it's not safe. But then the Giants and the Steelers played on the same turf the week before and they've

actually talked about how much they liked it. Yeah. So something's, you know, not right there. And, you know, it's part of the sport, man. injuries they suck and uh it just it happens when you when you get them in that amount of bunches you know yeah it's like the bosa injury the bosa injury was he just didn't disengage you know one of pesky tight ends that you know if if you just take your hands off dudes they're going to peel you over piles especially when you have the target on your back and i don't know because you'd be

you'd be hard pressed to get a close enough look to see was it the turf there did his foot catch where usually would slip out from underneath you as you're getting tabletop But, I mean, these injuries happen. And I don't love where their heads are at coming in this game. That's all I'm saying. I mean, obviously health-wise, it's a problem. Yeah, I like the Giants pick myself. And earlier on the first pick there, who'd you have Buffalo?

I actually think that line seems about right to me. So we're looking at it two different ways. I think the Rams have really impressed me so far this year. They have, man. Just some of the schemes going to those. naked boots and out leveraging, you know, the defense is really hard to do at the professional level. And they seem to do it seamlessly. Big tight end has been incredible. Yeah. And golf's been good, man. Good golf is good. Yeah, good golf. You're not, like, you don't need great golf.

You need good golf. That's what you had two years ago. And, you know, the only thing with the bills is I'd like to see just how healthy those backers are. Is there any word what the status is? I have not seen. Yeah. So, so that would be a concern for me. Who do you have for the NFL best bet. Falcons. Okay. I like that. There's no read. They should not be giving points. No. They shouldn't. So they're trying to tell you some.

We're going to go the other way. People are going to jump on Chicago, see if they're 2 and 0 and the Falcons are 0 and 2. We'll take the own team giving points because it doesn't make sense. Makes no sense. That's a team that was beaten up on the Cowboys. And it's just one of these things where they've got to learn to close out a ball game. And I bet they're energized looking over at the Monday night game. thinking, hey, we're going to and people are talking about firing Dan Quim, but, hey, we could get our shit together here and not be too bad. So I kind of like that pick a lot. And in real life, I might be making it. But this is fake life? This is, this is podcast. Green light life. This is green light life. Once I walk out of that door, I fire on every, every game on the board. So I, but I have to pick three here. Let me, let me go. What do you got? I thought about making it my best pick, but I'm not going to do it. Tennessee.

There's no reason to believe in Minnesota right now. I worried about their front from a physicality standpoint going into the year. That's only been reinforced. Anthony Barr is now out. It's a team where things are snowballing. And Tennessee is a bully. Tennessee, that's how that team's built. They're physical.

It's a fuck you attitude. They are going to run. They're going to dent a hole in Minnesota, and it might not be close. It's almost curious to me that the spreads three. Yeah, that's scared me away. Yeah, well, it hasn't scared me. You know, I am still a member of the Titans Bandwagon. Yeah, I'm brave or stupid.

I don't know which one. I'm going to go, I'm going to go Green Bay, which is a Petey Public Pick, right, at this point. I mean, I think like 80% is on Green Bay this week. Oh, wow, I didn't see that. Where are you on the Drew Breeze? Do you think it's because Michael Thomas didn't play that he won't throw the ball down the field because I'm on the other side. I think he's, I think he's, this is the beginning of the end.

Chris, he looks brittle, man. Yeah. Really, really brittle. Yeah, he's pushing the ball. He's really pushing the ball. You know, like he never was just a big arm thrower, but he's really shot putting that thing. and the confidence to get the ball downfield is not there.

Schematically, intentionally, no, but even in real time. And that pick that was bad, I think it was in the second quarter, where you drop. You don't see him throw off his back foot like that. No, and that's the thing. I can excuse not seeing the guy in the black jersey in the black painted area in the middle of the field, but the throw, even if there was nobody there, was abhorrent. So it's just, to your point, off the back foot, kind of shot putting it.

I'm nervous about that. Things he doesn't do. You never seen him do it. No, and I'm kind of fading myself here because I've been really hard on Green Bay the past year and a half. I'm finally like saying uncle with them. I'm going to take Green Bay.

I'm going to try not to overthink it. But my best bet, and this is probably the one that's going to go 10 to 7 Sunday, but I love the over in the Vegas, New England game. I just love it. Like the Angels is coming out on the wish phone with Cam. Dude, good luck stopping the run. if you're Oakland

they didn't do it. Did you know it was coming? What? Fourth down? Or the last play of the game? Oh, dude. I was so nervous about it. I knew Cam was going to have the football.

I had a lot of money on Seattle, as we talked about. So that was a huge swing for your boy. It was the most dramatic play of my retired NFL life when it came to like, you know, making money because you don't see a lot of fourth down plays with nothing left on the class. lock. I'm screaming. I'm like, and I was under like they're going to walk in the end zone. And that last twitch by Collier, it just, it's a, I've watched that play so many times and I've lived

those situations and how the littlest thing of you bastard defensive ends and making a little twitch, a little move. And it just, oh God, I have a nightmare still thinking about it. And Bobby Wagner. And my buddy Jeff Schwartz pointed this out as well. We talked about it on the pot earlier this week. Bobby Wagner. really blew that play up from the get-go. Yeah, from the sounds of it, Bobby called the stunt at the last second, and with that stunt, he was going to run backside, which takes your pulling all out of it.

That's why I'm not a fan of pullers down the goal line. Yeah, dude, it's just, and I would have expected better from New England with that call, really as good of a job, or maybe they could do better as we saw during the game of turning this offense into a Cam Newton offense. Like that just wasn't the play I think the internet would have broke Had the Cam not gotten the ball on fourth and one But now everybody doesn't like the call

And honestly I agree I don't like the call either But I like the over Because I think they're gonna run the ball on I think they run the ball on Vegas I don't think they're gonna have to go all in On pushing the ball like they did against the Seahawks I mean I think they kind of stumbled into realizing

Maybe we can make this transition to a down the field team a little bit more a little sooner than we thought. I, along with everybody else, and you told me, you know, you hear things out of Vegas in the preseason that Darren Waller has just taken

if it was possible, the next step. And that's, that's bared out on the field. And I cannot wait to see him a guy that, yeah, a guy that Bill's been gushing about this weekend against New England, whose defense to me is way more average than it was last year.

Yeah, that's, To me, it's because I saw incognito's out. So he was playing left guard, I think. And then a big tackle was out. I think he's out again. So I'm really interested to see what Bill does. Getting a little tape now on those two guys that are on that left side to see what he could do, knowing that that's cars blind side, knowing how timid car could get.

If you get a shot on them early on. But, I mean, when you look at the Raiders, man, skill guy wise on the offense like aga ward that's the guy i always thought was i was going to see from his time at u sc um walery obviously um rugs is stretching the field i mean yeah bro i mean and edwards did you think that was that was not interference what oh the last play oh jank no way he hooked him a little bit but i i got you got it was 12 yards over his head you got to let him play in that situation. You gotta.

Yeah. Go ahead. I'm sorry. No, I would have loved to see the game finish a different way. I just selfishly. I'm just a little tired with like it feels like Mahomes gets every call. There's a certain guy. You know when he does that point and thing every single time.

Oh, God, it drives me crazy. Is that going to make you dislike Patrick Mahomes the least dislikable person in the other? No, no. I will say this, though. Okay. It's not, it's just, it's so hard to stop them already. Yes. Like, and it's, I, I can't imagine being on the other side. It's not fair. It's not, man.

Fucking fair, dude. No, you're absolutely right. And I hadn't picked up on that. Like, he does this about 14 times a game. Non-stop. It's, it's Russell Wilson, too. Yeah. Russell Wilson does it. Yep. He does it. He does a little different, but yeah. Yeah, guys. The Mahomes is just so like, yep. That's why you've got to have your money on Mahomes and the Chiefs on the reg,

and you won't get mad at that. You'll be doing this right there with him. Yeah, no, I think they're going to score a lot. And it's not even 50. So if you look at that, what do you think is the floor for Vegas? I mean, the floor to me, for Vegas is 17 points, 20 points against those guys. I think if they score 20 points, we're going to see this hit because New England's going to have a nice day offensively.

Chunk plays. Yeah, chunk plays for sure. We need a lot of chunk plays over the weekend. So let's do the college game of the week, shall we? Yeah, not overthinking this one. Alabama is giving 27 around there. They're going to Missouri. Missouri's got, I think they're down to 69 scholarship players.

You need more than that. You need that more than that against Alabama. the stocks are the shelves are full of talent in tuscaloosa i expect uh alabama to come out and unleash um nick sabin's never gone three years without a title since he took over in tuscaloosa this is the third year watch out nick is angry it starts now i saw him on the megacast the other night i um you know the thing he spn two's got going on where they have that's what you watch accidentally i uh thought that I was watching ESPN 1 and I was watching ESPN 2 and I was like they're just going to run this thing all the way through the fucking fourth quarter here like I want to I want to hear about Darren waller why are we talking about

Kenny Chesney but I'm an idiot and I was on ESPN 2 but I did I did see nick it looked like he was studying hard he was in his kitchen there which is very stripped down it's not a palatial oh he wasn't down and know where to pool where the pool table is no that's how I could tell nick savin is ready to rock because he he's all business right now. He was in his little kitchenette and he's ready to kick somebody's ass. I love betting the big lines with Bama. It's always entertaining. It's just awesome because you're like, all right, it's 30.

It's 41.6. You're like, oh, man, I got to hold on here. And then he just brings in like another five star running back and you're like, who is this kid? Yeah, they have no choice. He was playing high school last year? Yeah, they have no choice but to put talented people in the game. I mean, case in point, the kid in Josh Jacobs, like,

you know, it just felt like you just barely played. You had too much going on to play this this thousand yard back. So perfect example. Let's go joint bank account.
