I think they worked some things out this week.
And I think the darnel Washington penalty down at the goal line was a huge deal in pushing them back to the point where they didn't get a lead seven to three early in this ball game.
Because Najee Harris hurtled a guy and Damner went into the end zone, got knocked out of the two-yard line by Nolan Smith, who played his ass off.
That was a big sequence in the game.
But I just loved the script early.
You don't have to go out and run the ball 30 times a game.
But if you're going to throw the ball, I just don't want to see a bunch of out of.
to sink shots on second and long.
I don't want to see things where Jaylen's holding the ball
and rolling right four and a half seconds.
I want to see him at his best, which is decisive.
Welcome to the Green Light podcast.
NFL Week 15, full reactions.
We've got Chris, we've got Bowen, we've got Dr. Fax running through the full slate.
The lines put up a hell of a battle against the bills, but at what cost?
Potentially four starters on the lion's side of an hour for the season.
and as we get closer and closer to the NFL playoffs,
the NFC race for the number one seed is getting tighter and tighter.
The Vikings have a shot at it.
The Eagles also are close on the Lions' heels.
Speaking of the Eagles, they had a big win over the Steelers this weekend.
We talk about that game.
We talk about the AFC playoff race.
The Broncos took a big step while the Chargers took a big fall.
And Isma Holmes' injury serious enough that we seek Carson Wentz into the playoffs for the Chiefs?
A little roll reversal for the former Eagle.
A great episode for you.
you today catch it all enjoy it
and we'll see you later this week
hello hello hello you
what's up y'all let me put my ears in
a saw beau what's up

Golly.
The Reed said he sent some to me, but they've been lost in Bezosland.
Yeah.
Dusty.
What's going on in the chat?
Let me open this chat up before we get into the weekend.
Dag and Zero said, wazah, fellas.
If you're old enough to remember that commercial.
Wazza.
How do you remember that?
That's a great commercial.
Yeah.
I love that commercial.
It was a Budweiser pro.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was one of my favorites.
favorites. Guys, guys, where do we start? Let's work. Oh, I'm going to beat the mention king
before we start and start off with a mention. We're going best seat. I'm giving it to myself.
I went to the MGM in National Harbor, Maryland. Dan, that's going to be mine.
In National Harbor, Maryland this weekend. My girl surprised me. She took me to gamble for my birthday.
and we get into the casino and we sit down at the pontoon blackjack table,
which is Spanish blackjack,
which means there's no tens, only face cards.
It's different than regular blackjack.
I like it because it has good side bet odds.
Me and my girl sit down and I start talking to the dealer,
the pit boss, Ashley, she comes over and she goes,
Are you Nate Collins from the Greenlight Pod?
That's incredible.
Yeah.
And she goes, she goes, I recognize your voice.
She goes, I literally listen to the pod on my way to work all the time.
Yeah.
And she immediately gave me a player's card.
She comped me and my girl $100 in drinks.
She comped us $150 in food.
Stop it.
Bro.
And then me and my girl proceeded to see.
sit and we won.
Like we actually won money at the blackjack table.
Yes.
And so like this all, we get to the casino at probably like 9.30, 10.
And this all happens before 11 o'clock.
9.30 in the morning?
At night.
I'm just fucking.
My birthday is at the morning casino runs.
My birthday's at midnight.
So once we're up, we decide to leave the table.
So I was like, yo, I want to go into.
to my birthday a winner and we used the rest of our drink credits and then we went to the little
club in there and it was just an amazing night so I'm getting the best thing happy birthday again
thank you um happy birthday facts how old 37 cheese how do you feel I feel good I feel great actually
yeah show show the people off those waiters oh yeah and then my girl got me these amazing
waiters so I can go fishing in any weather you're like Travis hunter with the fishing
You hear what they said?
What Travis Hunter said?
They said when you dream, what do you dream about?
And he's like, I dream about fishing.
Bro, when I was on the guard run, I swear on my life, that's how it was.
Like when I didn't catch it and you like, you almost catch a fish, you dream about it.
Yeah.
You absolutely do.
They become like the football dream.
Yeah.
You guys have those football dreams?
Do you ever have football dreams?
Oh, all the time.
You guys want to get a little psychoanalytical here of a young Bo Allen.
Yeah.
That dreams a lot about being late to press.
practice and like can't get my helmet oh yeah for me it was late it's always it was late to games
it was like yeah in the locker room can't put on my pads I hear the people you know like they
they won't like helmet won't get on my head don't have the things I need it's almost like you're
like you're tranquilized yeah trying to teeth are falling out inexplicably stuff like some pets heads
are falling on why I've had one I was on goal line and like I just didn't
come up i can come out my stance yeah like like in the dream like this slow punching dream i also
have the the slow punches dream oh no i never had getting in a fight and not being able to throw when i
was younger i used to fall off my bed and i used to have like i would be in the dream like i'm falling
off something and then wake up falling and like wake up hitting the ground yes now now i used to
also have the dream that um that we could never beat tech and that wasn't a dream that was like
I was like a reality there.
So, but yeah, no, no, no.
Congratulations to Travis Hunter on the Hysman.
Heisman.
Chris, it's funny you bring that up.
I mean, Nate and I used to get a lot of arguments about Travis Hunter.
I actually have a worst seat.
Fax beat the mention king to best seat.
I got a worse seat.
Here's to see what Dr. Fax thinks about this,
but worst seat to Travis Hunter's girlfriend.
Oh, fiance.
His fiance.
And I want to say, I'm glad you brought it up.
I want to say to that,
young lady hold strong it's probably only going to get worse your man is going to be the number
one pick and everyone right now they're vultures their clout demons you know what you have with
your man and just stay true to yourself and your relationship fuck everyone else your man got your
back he's been he's been at bat for you and look everything you do from here on now is
going to be scrutinized especially because of how much clout it's getting right now
who gives a fuck what comedians are saying?
Like, it doesn't matter.
It does not matter.
Stick by his side.
You've been with him for a while.
You went from Florida to Colorado.
All, like, you've done everything right.
Forget the outside noise and keep it, keep it like you guys are doing.
Like, I wish the best for them.
And congrats to Travis Hunter.
We'll be right back.
Dr. Phil, Dr. Fatt.
Hey, man.
Let me say this.
Can I just say this?
Yeah.
I don't hate everybody, but I hate everybody on the internet.
Yes.
I hate you all.
Yes.
And hates a strong word, but it's appropriate.
Yes.
You know, I don't know this young lady.
Nope.
Me either.
I don't know Travis Hunter.
I like Travis Hunter.
And if he likes her, I like her.
Exactly.
And you know what?
Ultimately, people online,
97% of them are trapped in relationships that they're either miserable about.
It's project.
It's projection.
You know, and if you guys were so fucking smart, you'd have it all figured out.
And I don't want to get...
This kid's young.
He loves this girl.
He's gonna marry this girl.
And he's probably a really smart kid.
I'm pretty sure he's got this thing.
And I don't want to...
And if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out.
Like a bunch of other relationships.
But Jesus, when did we all become fucking experts on...
everybody else's life. And, you know, the whole thing is like, oh, stay out of people's personal
lives, the whole thing. You know, we need to respect that player. If he leaves her, he's going to be
with somebody else and you're going to have a problem with whoever else he's with. It's just,
that's the point I was about to make. My thing is, like, we always say, like, when kids aren't
with someone or not in a relationship, like, yo, you need to watch out for golders. You need to
watch out for this. You need to watch out for that. Here's a kid. He's about to be the first
round pick young black kid and he has a fiance and you guys are trying to break it up before he gets
drafted what do you think is next in line if he's not with this girl it's going to be a bunch of
vultures and and and gold diggers like lining up for this kid so just mind your own business
mind your fucking mind your business honestly and like and you know what if you're also sure of it then
put your money up put your money up if you're sure of it
If they stay together, you should have to be penalized, you people online.
I just, I can't take it anymore.
Everybody's got an opinion, including us.
That's why we're here with you today, live, Greenlight Pop.
We're going to opine on a bunch of bullshit that we're not involved in.
Including the Army-Navy game, which I lost my ass on, the servicemen really hurt me.
You know what I mean?
Every year the servicemen hurt me.
They're supposed to hurt other people.
They're supposed to protect me.
But come around the Army-Navy game, I never know what play to make.
You know, I called five people in the military.
I said, what do you think?
Army, Army, Army, Army.
I asked some sharps.
Army, Army, Army, Army.
Navy was, they were quick.
That quarterback was too fast.
It was like, listen, he hit that throw in the second half in the end zone.
Maybe it's a game, but Navy was in control of that game.
Total control of that game.
And so I was chasing this Sunday, and that set the stage for a really lively 425 p.m. window for your boy.
By the way, Greenlight picks, again, Stanford Steve, did he go 0 and 5?
He went two and three.
Oh, good, good comeback for him.
He was making four and one?
Making three and two.
Okay.
You four and one.
No big deal.
No big deal.
I hope some of y'all are stoned the chat, the ones that were like,
I don't know about the bucks.
I don't think Chris has seen the injury report.
No, I've seen the injury report.
I just know something.
All right.
But yeah, I hope everybody had a good weekend.
Anything before we start on the orbs?
You guys coming around on this thing at all?
Bo.
I've been doing some deep dives on Reddit, man.
There's a lot of information.
There you have it.
We live in the most advanced, you know, time of, you know, access to information.
And it's just wild to me that's, there's just such a spectrum.
You know, you find something and you're like, oh, this seems reasonable.
And then you find something else that seems reasonable too.
And you're like, this seems reasonable too.
And then you go look at it later.
You're like, that's fucking crazy.
Yeah, it's got 10,000 readweeds.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm on the alien train, Chris.
Oh, no, I'm on the dirty bomb train.
I think they're looking for a dirty bomb.
And unfortunately, unfortunately, I got to go to Philly.
I got to go up to up the eastern seaboard.
to do inside the NFL.
Can you imagine if I just got incinerated while like giving a take on like the Eagles passing
game?
Yo.
No, I mean, seriously.
What do you mean?
There's fucking a lot going on up in the sky, up in the sky.
Just like a terminator two hanging on the fence.
No, I wouldn't even know it.
I'd just be like, well, you know, they need a little quick game.
And that's what I'm worried about.
I'm not so worried about the aliens.
But just so you know, to clear something up, my brother Kyle had tweeted that he saw an object in the sky, up in the sky, while he was flying in a commercial airliner.
And it like really got picked up by a bunch of people, like a bunch of people, like conspiracy theorists, you know, military experts, all that stuff.
And I talked to Kyle on the phone yesterday.
and he was trolling.
He wasn't even serious.
It's like you just don't know what you're amplifying.
You might be amplifying a 300-pound troll.
Like you just don't know, dude.
So I don't know, man.
Fingers crossed on the orbs.
I hope we're all right.
Don't you think, though, Chris,
isn't there something kind of, you know,
I don't know,
kind of nice,
kind of positive about thinking that it's a benevolent alien race
who's here to help us,
you know,
secure our future,
not destroy planet.
That's a comforting thought.
I like that idea.
Sure.
I like that idea, too.
There's also the possibility
that they came out of the ocean.
I don't want to go too far down this rabbit hole.
I got the ocean.
The mobile command center in the ocean
that shoots down anything that gets close to it.
Have you seen that?
I don't mean Iran.
What I mean is,
has anybody checked to see if these orbs are wet?
You know what I'm saying?
They come up out of that water.
And if they came up out of that water,
why'd they come up out of the water?
You know,
You know?
Seismic activity that they're like,
I don't know what's going on.
That'd be epic if Atlantis was the real thing.
But you know what?
It would really suck if the Eagles got home field.
And there was an alien invasion and we couldn't enjoy it.
Right.
So without,
having said all that,
let's get into the show presented by BetMGM.
That's right.
Nice.
You need me to read something?

Happy hunting that Bill's Lions game.
Geez, you're looking at that total and you're like, yeah, it's a lot of points.
I said to Nolan before the game, I'm like, I'd rather bet the first half over.
Maybe it slows down in the second half.
90 Burger.
And we had the Bill's team total because we knew they'd score,
but I just did not know that the game would play out this way.
90 total points in this game.
And I thought Buffalo getting the ball under that pile at the end of the game was very fitting.
This was like a game where, yes, the firepower, yes, Josh Allen, yes, they just, they ran the ball up and down the field.
But it was about who was scrappier.
I really do believe that.
And for them to come up with that ball into that pile, the loose ball where Milano beats James and Williams,
it earlier on the fumble. They just, I don't want to say they wanted it more because Detroit
always wants it. But the bills came ready to play. They did not look like the team that was
working on three days less rest than the team at home. The bills had to go to LA and playing a game
that's wire to wire. And any defender knows in a game where there's 86 points scored or whatever
it was, that's an attrition deal. You are tired at the end of that deal. And so then to take
the trip to Detroit with everything that was on the line and play like that, the scrappiness,
you know, the best way to keep Detroit from running the football is to affect the game script.
And I think they did that. I mean, that's what they did. They got a three and out early.
And then they made them punt on the second possession after blitzing a condensed formation,
which we said early downs. You need to get them behind the sticks, even if it's just once or twice
in a game like this. Because at that point, then you're playing to your script. And the little guys
were triggering in the run game.
It just again, Sean McDermott gets little guys to play big.
Bishop Johnson, Bernard, who he's not a little guy, but he's definitely more of a move
around linebacker.
They were knifing in there early.
And when you play Detroit, you know, I think, and in general, we don't make a big
enough deal about how do the DBs get involved in the run fit?
I mean, we thought that Detroit had an advantage up front, which honestly, it didn't play
out that way, surprisingly.
But those guys, you know, when Amin Ra is in the slot and you get a feeling that he's going to come down and block the safety, can the safety beat him to a spot?
You know, is the backer on these gap scheme runs going to be able to trigger and meet the puller in the hole?
There was a lot of that and these guys were triggering downhill.
And I think once they got the lead, they knew they could keep it.
And that's what I think they came into the game thinking is like, if we can get up on these guys a possession, it's going to be hard.
and they give Josh the cushion he needed
and Ed Oliver,
I just want to shout him out.
I know we're talking a lot of defense right here off the top
but I think the Bill's defense who two weeks
you give up 80 plus points,
you're kind of like,
why would you gas them up?
But I thought the guys on defense,
including the secondary making big plays,
Benford on the punchout,
Taryn Johnson blowing up Amin Ross St. Brown.
When you, right, what?
Made them do the Fortnite crawl.
I've never seen St. Brown do that.
That's it, dude.
Brown is the hammer, not the nail.
Yes.
And there's something, too, when your best guy, when your flag bearer gets pop like that.
Yes.
And I thought, you know, and Amin Ra is a tough guy, dude.
He's an SOB.
The tough is.
Son of a bodybuilder, as I like to say.
That's good.
And this dude, for him to like get up slow, like the bills were bringing a different kind of physicality in the back end.
But Ed Oliver, I love this guy.
He's what, go ahead.
That's actually my game ball.
Game ball, Ed.
Before you get you deep in it.
Go ahead.
You give it.
You give it.
to give it to them got to give it to those interior defensive line and man at all over his ball and what
he had like 11 pressures on 12 like 12 or 13 rushes or something like that he had nine he had nine
pressures I think he speed bumped maybe the best center in the league lined up right over rag now
ran him over got after glasgow he was just a beast he was a beast in the run game too
yeah great player man great player love ed all yeah game ball and you know you might think we're
going to give it to josh allen and i'll give a josh allen game ball out but
MVP performance.
I know that Lamar, who we're going to talk about in a little bit,
might have some marginally better stats in some areas.
But that didn't matter in the past when Lamar won the MVP.
It's not always about best stats.
The eyeball test, like watching this guy play,
that ball to Coleman on the right side.
I wrote down, I was like, need I say more?
Like, that's it.
It's just the plays.
He had probably seven plays, seven throws in this game,
that, you know, would be anybody else's best throw.
this season, you know, save for a couple guys. And, you know, getting the running backs involved was
obviously a big part of the game plan. When you have like Juan Alexander out there and certain guys
and they're missing Anzolone. And, you know, that was a big part of the game plan. You could tell
early, Ty Johnson throws were amazing, buying time. And the toughness. When Pascal hit him at the end of the
game, he's in the air in the fetal position. And Pascal, who's a big man, just drives right through him.
I thought there's no way he's getting up.
Even for Josh Allen, he's going to get up slow.
He didn't.
I know he had to go get an x-ray at the end of the game.
I think it's when he fell on his shoulder,
which is a little bit concerning going into a week where you're laying 14.
He got up doing these.
Yeah, he got up doing a little like AC adjustment.
But I think he'll be okay, obviously.
It just might be one of those things that carries over in the next week.
And it's a good thing that they have the Patriots.
And they might not have to air it out all day.
they can run the football.
But the O-line, lots of pullers, kicking these guys out on the edge,
and the drive out of the half was a real statement.
I think to beat Detroit, I would have guessed.
Sean McDermott said a couple of things.
Number one, the little guys have to play big, and they always do.
But you've got to become Detroit to beat Detroit, and I thought they did.
I mean, they ran the ball for almost 200 yards.
Some of that's QB run.
Some of that's James Cook.
And like we said, the lions couldn't get the ball.
going on the ground early, and then once the game script flipped, it just wasn't an option.
We've been talking all season about Josh's last year.
His career, he's had some interceptions, some turnovers in bad spots, and we said going
to this year, he's got to clean that up.
Over his last three games, zero sacks, zero fumbles, zero picks, one negative play,
that play was the kneel down at the end of the game against the Lions.
No question.
And I want to say that, I mean, he's done a really good job of keeping the ball out of harm's way.
honestly like the people don't want to hear this i know i've ruffled some feathers last week
talking about my homes and we're going to talk about my homes in a second because i said that i'd
take josh allen right now over my homes i didn't think that would be a hot take some people really
reacted poorly to that there's a there's a twitter thread still going on with people arguing and i'm
i'm like god bless him it's unbelievable i'm just not going to get involved i'm not and and to argue
about two amazing quarterbacks to the point where you're calling each other's names online
strangers like that's I think it's the worst I think it's the worst like it's the holiday season man you
know enjoy your holiday there's two two of the best of our generation one of them just seems to be
playing a lot better right now and the point I was going to make is like my homes is putting the
ball in harm's way a lot more than Josh this year and I know he doesn't have an ideal set up and you
know but but revisionist history here whether we're talking about the MVP and the deck that
Josh has to work with or doesn't.
Like coming into the season, a lot of people said this was going to be a retooling year
for Buffalo.
And they've added Amari Cooper.
That's pretty much it, right?
So, like, he's doing a lot with what you said was a little.
Don't move the goalposts now and act like they're the greatest show on turf.
I mean, he's gotten a lot out of Kincaid.
That's what we said.
You know, this offense runs through the tight ends.
It runs through the slot receiver.
And then we didn't know that Coleman was going to be a very good possession receiver.
He's been that for them.
And Cooper is still a very dependable guy.
You know, you can throw him 50-50 balls, and he's a great route runner.
So they've really just made the most of what they have.
And I think for Kansas City, they're wounded.
I mean, you can see it when they're playing.
I think Mahomes is starting to press.
We'll talk about that in a second.
But coming out of this game, and I want to give Detroit fans who I know are screaming at the computer or the phone or wherever you're watching this, we're really banged up.
I know you are.
Yeah.
And if you were at full strength, this would be even more of an epic game than it was.
And if you get back there to see them again, I think it's going to be a great game and one that you can win.
But in your current form, even with, I got a shout out the Bills and Bobby Babich that defense.
They're missing guys on the back end.
No question.
But the Lions have more problems right now.
They really do.
And coming out of this game with Alie McNeil getting hurt.
Yeah, ACO.
ACL, Carlton Davis with a broken jaw.
Broken jaw.
Yeah, that's rough.
And a broken leg too for who is at Dorsey?
Dorsey had to go to the hospital.
Montgomery. God, please.
And then the Montgomery thing pops up.
MCL, yeah.
Cowboy just put it up in the chat.
Like, are you worried about Detroit's injury issues?
We talked about this a little bit, Chris.
I'm very worried about it.
I mean, they have, what, 16 players on their defense that have been
like on I or like miss time at some point which is incredible like they play a very physical brand
of football we know that they got out physical last night by the bills it's like you just look at
this going down the stretches how are they going to beat teams you know i don't know like they're
going to need to beat teams like you know 24 to 17 in order to be successful in the playoffs with
all the injuries that they've had especially in defense i just can't see them limiting teams like
i wouldn't be surprised if and i'm like you're a card carrying member of bills mafia i love the line
I want this to be their year.
I love what Dan Campbell's building.
I love their O line.
They're running backs.
I think Ben Johnson is going to be a great head coach next year.
So I'm rooting for the Lions.
I just am kind of envisioning now that they get knocked out of the playoffs in round one.
I don't think that they can do enough to secure a number one seed in the NFC going on the stretch with these injuries.
And I just feel like they're going to get surprised by a good team because they're so banged up.
I see the chat popping off here.
But I just think they lose.
Like I just can't see a situation.
I don't think that's a, I don't think that's a hot take.
I don't think you're being malicious.
We all love the lions.
We love Dan.
The attrition that this team's had to deal with.
Honestly, you know, in 17, when we won it, we had some big injuries, right?
But the depth stepped up.
And now they're dipping in depth bag.
And on top of it, the depth bag is starting to get decimate a little bit.
And so, you know, like it kind of depends on the matchup.
And you say 2417, I think they're going to have to beat teams like,
40 to 37.
Like in my opinion, that game is the type of game they're going to have to win.
They're not going to see a lot of Josh Allen's in the NFC.
That's the one good thing they have controlling the clock, you know, running the ball.
They can win that way too, maybe.
POP.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Maybe they can get one or two crucial takeaways on defense.
I think they do a pretty good job with that under Glenn.
But it's just like, I want them to win.
I want them to win the Super Bowl.
I've fucking like the lines.
I just don't know, you know, how they're going to get it done.
I got to look at the rest of their matchup in the NFC North,
which is like probably a strong.
You know what sucks?
What?
What sucks?
The new kickoff rule because the Lions could have definitely benefited from a surprise
onside kick in this game.
The fact that they went for that onside kick so early in the fourth.
And it's something that me and Kingston talked about that playing against Josh Allen,
that's what it makes you do.
Yeah.
It makes you have to make erratic decisions in the moment.
to kind of like calculate how we can have a chance to get back.
They almost got the last one.
They almost got the last one.
But there's going to be a lot of people questioning, Dan,
and they already are about that on-site kick,
but it was pretty clear that they were not going to get stops.
And so, like, I'm not going to kill him for that.
Yep.
And I said if he felt that way, like, kind of the best case scenario,
if you're not going to get the outside kind of happened
is the fact that they got the ball and they got it close enough quick.
quit. If you're thinking about time. Yeah. No, it really ends up being a deal where you need
the bills to turn the ball over or you need to steal a possession. Because they were just too good.
And as the as Vilder enters the game and all these guys are up and down, you could tell them
the second half, it was just going to be a problem. So, you know, looking at the lions right now,
Matt Nackie, how would you, I mean, we might as well do it right now, I guess. But the NFC,
home field advantage situation.
I would say first of all,
it's important to ignore the projections
because they can't take into account
things like injuries to the lions.
But right now,
the lions are still chilling
for the number one seat.
If they went out,
they'll be fine.
They'll be at first.
Guys, we're chilling.
If the Vikings went out,
they'll get first.
Yeah.
Because they play in that last week.
And the Eagles,
if they go 15 and 2 and went out,
they would need both the lions and the Vikings to lose at least one game, which is a huge deal.
I mean, it could get complicated for the Eagles and the Vikings, right? Because, okay, you go,
they could end up with the same record, right? There's not a lot of common opponents, I think,
between those two teams. Yeah, it would go down to the fourth tiebreaker, which is measured by strength
of victory. It's actually strength of victory, which the Vikings would have, no matter what in this case.
But barely, right? So the bottom line is they need,
They need somebody to lose two games.
They just need both of them to lose one game.
Okay, yeah, but yeah, okay, both of them to lose one game.
While winning out themselves.
Got it, got it, got it, got it, okay.
And potentially they could be in a situation where in week 18,
they're looking at it knowing they can't win the number one seed,
so they could rest everybody, very realistically.
Which they would need, absolutely.
But I don't know, man, I think the NFC towards the top,
it's all about matchups.
and that includes the Eagles.
None of those teams are immune to the matchup issues that pop up with one bad matchup or two
bad matchups in the NFC.
And we'll get into that a little bit more as we talk about the playoff picture at large.
But just a huge.
And again, the Lions have been doing this for so long.
They've been busting their ass.
They've been playing balls out.
They've been winning games against good teams.
Like these things happen.
Whether or not you're injured, eventually you lose a game.
So we're not saying the lines are out of it, but with the injuries, it's going to be hard.
No question.
Before we move on from this game, I have my Beville Conway.
The slow motion of Josh Allen sliding at the end of the game, that was my Bevel Conway.
How about him skipping in the end zone?
Oh, my God, bro.
Actually, I had a Bevel Conway from this one, too.
The slide was just like a perfect baseball slide.
the little turf beads sliding up and then the two lions players are like perfectly in the shot
and it's just like game over it just like game over on your field yeah oh yeah running your trap
take over the trap for sure and one more thing i saw somebody in the chat who said hey i love the
show i appreciate you saying that um they said it took lines minus two and a half because you all we didn't
give out lines two and a half my brother
Let me just make that clear.
We gave out bills over team total.
You know, sometimes that's the smarter play.
I don't think any of us were sure how this game was going to end up,
but we knew it would be a lot of points.
Points.
If I had to guess, the bills because of the quarterback, had the best fail safe.
Seriously, and Jared Gough played amazing.
I mean, amazing.
I think that Josh Allen's slide got my wife pregnant.
That's funny.
That is funny.
That's really funny.
You talk about Jared Gough?
What if it's a six, seven quarterback?
You know?
You talk about Jared Gough.
It was a couple weeks ago.
He threw five picks in a victory.
And yesterday he threw five touchdowns in a loss.
Yeah.
It's crazy.
Well, I think also like, hey, if Houston was more, if they had their shit together offensively,
they win that game.
100%.
You know, and that's the difference is, you know,
get these guys down with the in the current state of their defense it's just going to be hard for them
it's a it's a it's a game script that even with their firepower they don't want to follow it now
they almost won that game they almost won that game but it just felt like the whole game
Detroit was in control so uh we're talking about the aFC now where where the bills um wait
hold on can i do my bevel real quick yeah do your bevel i thought this was cool yeah i forgot i got a
little i got a little distracted anyway bevel conway for this game don't say the black line
in at midfield.
No, but I did actually kind of like that.
The Lions did have their black helmets on.
I thought it was cool because CBS,
unlike the score ticker at the bottom,
and the background of it,
they had the alternate color as black.
I thought that was just a very nice attention to detail
from the broadcast team there.
And here's what I think is a really poor job
of paying attention to details by the Detroit Lions.
They like wearing ugly get-ups at home.
Yes.
Oh, you agree?
It's crazy.
I had another one.
I almost forgot.
Their jerseys were my anti-bevel.
It's not the, it's the helmets.
But all of it, like, what is black, like, when is black ever in their color?
It's like in the early 2000s where every high school was like, oh, let's incorporate black into the team color.
Yeah.
Dude, when we were in Philly and we wear black, it was so sexy.
I loved it.
It was cool.
It felt so suave and like.
But oftentimes the lid holds you back.
I think if you're going to go all black in your line.
go with not a shiny black, but just a black-looking helmet, not Matt, just a regular old-school
black helmet. We don't need to, with a script lions in Honolulu Blue and go from there, dude,
that would be, that would be sick. Yeah. Yeah. But, you know, people, and when they, I saw all the,
the preseason projections for the Lions uniforms, and I'm still waiting to see the right home
uni combination. They keep going all blue. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Mix it up a little bit.
And then they go all black.
The lions will be bad.
That's not what I was asking for.
But Kansas City, they maintain their lead for home field advantage.
But it kind of feels like they lost a step.
Like, no matter what they do this year.
And, hey, I want to be fair to this team.
They've won so many games.
I mean, like, this is incredible for a team to be.
How many times has the team been, what, 13 and 1?
Or what are they?
13 and 1?
How many times the team been 13 and 1 in the history of the league?
It just doesn't happen a lot.
I think the Panthers may be.
They were 15 and won that one year.
15 and won that one year.
But like, it's something, there's something to be said for having won all these games.
And, you know, like, the eye test doesn't really check out.
When you watch their film, you're like, damn, everything's just a struggle.
Like, offensively, it's a struggle.
And that's why they made the changes up front and that sort of thing.
I think Joe Tooney, who did an admirable job giving up only 10 pressures on the day.
I mean, it's like, hey, buddy, you're going to do a job that's totally different than the job
that you do every other day and it's going to be the toughest day of the year to do it.
It's funny you say that, Chris.
I actually have an STL Memorial for a tuning.
Like, it's impossible.
You're playing guard.
You're moving out.
You're playing left tackle against literal, like, you talk about Josh Allen being an alien.
Miles Garrett is an alien.
That guy is a genetic freak.
Okay.
Like, you got to do what you got to do out there, all right?
Sometimes you've got to poke Miles Garrett in the eye.
Yeah, I guess so, dude.
You know, you know, my favorite.
You know what my favorite thing is, Bo?
The sports center or ESPN posts that are like, hey, check out the chiefs doing basic human decency here.
Yeah, exactly.
Joe checking on Miles' eyeball might be hanging out.
I got, I walked over because we were watching the man cave and I go check on the family every once in a while.
I walked over in the 4 p.m. slate.
My wife was like, did Miles Garrett's eyeball fall out?
I was like, did it?
Oh, my God.
Isn't that happen in any given Sunday?
like the movie yeah it does there's an eyeball on the field when they play that team
with the with the knights of the round table logo down in that uh dome at the end of the season the
guy's eyeball falls out and and and you know it sucks to get poked in the eye and all that but i think
he came back and man listen he baptized joe once or twice and it was like a reggie white thing i mean
he he you put him in space man you're playing left tackle you've been a guard your entire career
I don't like people I think there's kind of this thought that you can you know and a lot of teams do this you know the Patriots actually do it a lot which sort of Joe played the past I was with him on that roster but you move O line you're like okay like you can you have a lot of injuries at O line like we'll bump this guy over here we'll move whoever you know and ask ask your brother Kyle about playing yeah you know left tackle versus right tackle how uncomfortable did you feel every now and then Chris playing right on the right side and you're like yeah exactly yeah I always played on the right every now and then I'd play like left three tech
I think I'm like, where the fuck am I?
Dude, it feels totally, and to add to the fact that all of a sudden you're in space
against the best player in the world, like, I, again, like, we're not poking fun.
Like, this is a job no guard in the NFL would want to do, but it's a job they're going to
need them to do.
And honestly, it can only get easier from here.
But this week, they do have to deal with the edge guys from Houston, at least they're at home.
You know, I think that was a really, and you know, Calli Endo, who's their, their obligatory
pies on that they play a guard with Aligh Gray.
moving on to the Washington commanders.
This guy, Caliando, does a nice job in there.
And I honestly think this is the combination.
Because with the way that Mahomes sets, he sets with a lot of depth.
I know the interior three, it's nice to have Trey Smith and Joe in there and Creed
because the run game, you know, you can really control the ball.
But with Mahomes' dropped target, he likes to drift back.
You need somebody athletic who can get out there.
they were throwing no hitters at tackle like joe knows where to be and at least he's going to get in the way
and uh he's he's he's a he's a dependable guy it's always easier to to drop somebody in a guard
and you know after humphre's got hurt last week it just became apparent that they were going to do
something all together differently so this is probably what you're going to see going forward and
i like it um having said that Patrick mahomes now has a high ankle um and he's had these ankle
injuries before you remember the jacksville game in the playoffs like this is something you don't want to linger
and he's been hit a lot the last three weeks listen Andy read is the best right I'm not telling him anything
he doesn't know but I don't like them rolling him out into an unblocked miles Garrett away from
his throwing hand in a 21-0 ball game I don't like them him climb in the pocket up 21-7 at the 40 yard line
going on fourth down that's how he got hurt he's gotten hit like 40 times the last three weeks it feels
like and so you know this is something that you're gonna have to you're gonna have to remedy but when
he gets back to me if there's any doubt at all you have to play carson wins that's why he's here
you know and here i am carson went sucker i'm like i watched him throw two balls and they were
both like little underneath throws him like man he looks good you know i'm getting ready to jump out
of the gym for people forget man no honestly MVP come on we've said this with with multiple
quarterbacks in the past.
We said it with Baker Mayfield.
Watch.
When Baker Mayfield gets another job,
he spent a year at quarterback school
or part of a year with the Rams.
Now he's reunited with Liam Cohen.
He had time with McVeigh.
It's the same thing with Darno
when he goes out west with Shanahan.
You know, it gives guys a break.
You know, it helps them develop
their game. Carson Wentz might be somebody's
quarterback next year. And these
games, if he has an opportunity,
are going to go a long way in giving him
a chance at act too um so we'll see i mean this weekend's a big one for them they're kind of
in a rock in a hard play situation where it's like hey we have to win this is the team that i've
said over and over again cannot go on the road and win like they did last year but you know even if that's
the case you'd rather have to do that than lose my homes because high ankles can get worse well that's kind
of what i'm wondering chris because like okay point home field of vans especially at arrowhead in the playoffs is
massive. Like, we talk about that all the time. So if you're Andy Reid, if you're Patrick
Mahomes, are you pushing to come back to secure that, you know, that, that, that number one seed or,
I mean, I guess we'll know. No, you're playing Carson. You're playing Carson. You don't think
there's any world in which Mahomes plays because he comes back in these injuries, these ankle
injuries pretty quickly. He said after the game, I would have gone back in. And Andy Reed said,
hey, it's probably a precaution. We might have put him back in. And part of that might be
coach speak to get the Texans to prepare for for two for my homes but um i also think you know if
you look at it like this is this isn't a high powered offense anyways how many points do you need
to beat houston Houston the way they played offensively and we're getting to them in a little bit
you know they won the game yesterday but it's not like they all sudden look like a great
show on turf you can beat these guys scoring 23 points and i do believe that's how the chiefs have been
winning they've been winning not scoring more than 30 points no i know i know but
but what I'm saying is Carson Winskins is playing great.
Carson Wenskin scored 20.
Now, the thing I worry about with the defense is
Chamari Conner leaves the concussion.
You know, you're down another guy, possibly this weekend,
playing against Houston, who's got a nice set of wide receivers.
Like, that is a worry for me.
And I do think the defense largely has kept the points down.
But part of that is, you know, Kansas City being able to possess the football,
Spags being a smart coordinator.
The shots have gotten them.
And, you know, there will be shots this weekend.
So I think the best plan of attack, if Mahomes is a little bit banged up or has a high ankle,
is try to go win this game without him because you might need Carson to get snaps at some point in the playoffs.
It's not the worst thing to get snaps right now, and you still have a game to play with, right?
So even if you lose this game, you can bring Mahomes back.
I play with a high ankle.
I play with a high ankle all season in 2011 shot it up.
Those things can get worse.
Those things can get a lot worse.
And I also think Mahomes, like he's played with high ankles before he's played with.
with ankle injuries um you know it can it can really affect you long term if you don't rehab it
correctly and part of rehab is just getting a break so um you know and and not to be to start like
some mass hysteria but high ankles can get worse and guys sometimes need surgery for these things like
tightrope uh surgeries on these high ankles i'm not saying that's where it's going but you got to be
you got to be fucking careful dude and got to be careful they're playing Saturday and then they're
playing Wednesday next week too, which is also where this kind of becomes complicated for them with
that decision. They don't have any slouches left either. I mean, they got, they have Houston,
who's dangerous, and then they have the Steelers on Christmas. Houston, Pittsburgh, and then
finish with Denver. The Broncos, yeah. And so in Denver, who took them to the wire, I would
be eyeing that Wednesday game. I'd say, hey, like, you got 10 days. Let's try to get you right. And
only they know how bad it is. But I want to say this about defense. They play well. Carloftus played
well bolton played well mcduffy that picking the end zone is one of the best plays of the day if it's
true that he was looking at the damn big board there's a shot of him the cameras on the end line
and he's trailing a deep ball and at the very last second he glances away from the receiver
almost like up above the crowd and then back to the ball and in my mind like when i hear hey this guy was
looking at the the jumbo tron immediately i'm like no he's not
there's no way. But I think he might have been.
And that's incredible.
Everywhere with all to do that is DPs are different animal, man.
I wouldn't even consider that.
You know what I mean?
Well, and even to...
I thought I was slick when I'd look at the play clock out and down.
I'll do okay, get a quick little jump, you know?
And even to look at the big board and know where you are on that board and be able to
turn in the right direction because that's reversed from you to be able to find
yourself find the ball thrower and then turn around and find the ball is no it's it's pretty amazing and
did i read this right is his first interception really at least on the year i thought i read it first of
his career i don't believe that that doesn't sound right yeah pff has him uh or pro football
reference has one interception 24 how about for his career like like one one interception the first one
That's wild, dude.
No, so what a way to get your first pick.
And then I want to say this, Jerry Judy, over a thousand yards for the Cleveland Browns.
Yeah.
You talk about getting it out the mud, dude.
Like, I know James likes him, likes him and, you know, was throwing him the ball and force feeding him.
But like for a guy, and I'm always very, I'm on this guy's side.
I'm on, you know, a guy like this, Beckton, who we saw in the Eagles game, who we'll talk about in a second, like guys that were kind of discarded.
for different reasons, whether injury or just it wasn't a fit,
but Jerry Judy, good for him.
He's cementing himself as a really good player in the league.
And there were people that were writing him off.
So tip of the cap to Jerry Judy in an imperfect situation,
going for a G for the Cleveland Browns, bro.
No, great.
Happy friend, but I haven't mentioned for this game,
and it's Hollow Man.
My Hollow Man, unfortunately, is going to one of my favorite players,
James Winston.
James Winston with him being a church man,
he should know that God with God,
if you be specific,
he listens and he asked God to deliver him from pick sixes,
and he did that instead of asking God
to deliver him from picks altogether.
Like, are you hollow manning God right now?
No, it's James.
James, like, doubting God.
Like, if he had just,
said just deliver me from picks won't he do it yeah won't he do it bro yeah he still had three
interceptions none of them for pick sixes but he had three interceptions yeah that's just j boo baby
it is but it's like dang man like it's just funny how things work that's a really good night
honestly somebody's got to talk to his pastor but i think he i think he is like a pastor or a reverend
or like he's trying to be or not he'd walk right in
and be one of the highest paid pastors in the in the country which is saying something man you know
um i actually had a worst flight for this game as well and that's the chiefs you know you get a win in
in cleveland and that's all well and good but a lot of a lot of uh concern about mohams's ankle
and things like that and hey high ankle sprained suck chris we talk about that shit all yeah
you know that thing swelled up on that out that's not a fun flight oh yeah i know he had some job socks on
some fresh
Sure.
Compression sleeve.
Think about the high ankle is you feel it in your killies.
It feels like, you know, when you roll your ankle, it's that puffy swelling.
But when you get a high ankle sprain, it's more of like a shooting pain every time you step.
Seriously, like I remember going out there.
You saw him walking off the field.
It's tough, man.
Dude, it sucks.
So I'm hopeful that he's okay.
But all in all, I want to say this, he's forcing balls.
I think the guy's tired.
I think he's tired.
This chapter of his career,
and it's hard to blame him.
You know, like,
I'm not saying he's trying to,
like he's tired of people like me saying Josh is the best quarterback
after six,
eight weeks of this.
But he is,
he's missing.
He's missing some balls and he's forcing some.
Part of that is the way they're winning these games,
Chris.
Like he's usually,
I mean,
in the past,
he's been the guy.
He's been the reason they're winning games.
They're winning games because of block kicks and,
all sorts of other stuff like that you can there win games because of him because of who he is on third down
you just have to be so precise throughout the things he has to do to be consistent through a drive
a lot of other quarterbacks in the NFL don't have to do that um and so like he's being held to a
higher standard fair or not fair um and then i think at times he's like let me go get it all in one throw
and you know there was a throw last the james that's the james that was the throw he made to work
where the pockets clean, worthy on like a deep over, like, or a speed post or whatever the fuck
you want to call it. Yeah. But he, he was, I mean, there's another safety kind of, kind of squeezing
him in the end zone. And Travis is sitting there underneath for like 20 yards. And, you know,
he's not even looking at him. And it's just one play. But I think it's, it's emblematic of kind of at times
what you've seen watching them is like a little impatience. And I don't blame him because last year was
the drops and the tackle the tackle play.
This year it's the tackle play.
And just the way it's kind of gone,
everything feels like a big effort for them.
You know, and that's got to be exhausting.
But at the end of the day,
the Chiefs fans will tell you it's all about winning.
So if they get in the dance, you know,
I'm never going to count them out.
I just don't think in their current form
they're what they were the last couple of years
because of what the defense is going through a little bit.
Shout out to Andy Reed and that staff.
That's like a testament to coaching too, right?
Like, you're 13 and one and you're winning a bunch of ugly-ass games week after week after week after week.
And it really isn't like the defense or the offense is elite.
It's not like that.
It's not like either one has like.
Defense is pretty good on Sunday, but yeah.
The defense was pretty good on.
But are you saying they're elite?
Because if you've watched them all year, they're not.
They got me 22 fantasy points and I'm looking to be making in our fantasy playoffs.
So I'm kind of stoked about that.
I don't think, I don't think the chiefs are a matchup.
like. I just like spags. I think spagg
are really good. Not the Chiefs. I don't think the
bills are a matchup they like.
I don't think, let's see.
But they've historically had the
bill's number. Yeah, historically.
In the playoffs. In the playoffs. Yeah,
in the playoffs. But, and I got
another to say to you there, but I can only tell you what I
see this year. So I guess
I'll be wrong until I'm right.
If they come up, you know, if they get the
bills, I think it's going to be ugly.
I don't know about ugly, but yeah, it kind of
depends on where the game happens too, which is why we're talking about home field so much.
The chat's talking about Nate's Jamesus comment and Charlie said, what is Jameses' pastor
rating? 93? Yeah, I would say, yeah. He's like a 90, possibly a 94, 95. Past rating of John
360. Isn't it out of like 158? Can you imagine putting him in like a Catholic Mass? Like it's just
some offenses, it just doesn't work.
Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That would be the, no, I think he's entertainable.
Like an Irish Catholic.
I think he could do it.
I think any church, that collection plate will be full if James is there.
I don't know about a Catholic Mass, that's all I'm saying.
Those things take a while.
They're not as lively.
A lot of kneeling.
Have you ever been to a black church?
Yes.
Five hours sometimes.
I went to a black funeral recently.
But five hours sometimes, dude.
For a funeral, it was amazing.
But black church, you get to move.
around. Yeah, dude, it's much better. It's so much. Yeah. You sit still. Don't say.
Where I feel like, uh, you know, an Irish Catholic church is a lot more like
shame field. Yes. Yeah. What did you do last? What did you do wrong? Why are your palms so
hairy? So, so, you know, uh, let's get to the Eagles and Steelers at the Church of Philadelphia,
which is Lincoln Financial Field. My Eagles fly, baby. They flew yesterday, bro. We're looking good.
They look good, man.
You know, and I think it kind of goes back.
You know, in a relationship,
since we already talked about Travis Hunter
and his lovely fiance,
sometimes things are going on in a relationship
and they don't get resolved
because you don't want to deal with the fighting.
You're like, oh, let's just fucking, let's just move on.
And you never really ripped the Band-Aid off.
And I feel like in, you know,
I'm not saying that they were in turmoil in the locker room,
but after the BG overshare
and after A.J.
said what he said last week,
conversations had to be had.
Like, you know, at that point,
you have to close the doors
and have some conversations.
And I think no one wanted that to happen
in that locker room,
but ultimately I bet it paid off.
I really do.
I think it paid off.
I mean,
just for the simple fact
that Jalen on that first touchdown drive
was like love bombing AJ.
I mean, he threw him the wall like 14 times.
But more than anything, it makes you like, it makes you actually like have to confront your problems.
And it sounded to me like through the week and credit to all those guys, AJ, Jalen, Siriani.
Siriani had to deal with putting that fire out and then going out and out ugly and King Ugly in Mike Tomlin, who loves to win in fucked up ways.
The Eagles possessed the ball in the second half for 24 plus minutes, 10 points out of those drives, 47,
place 47 plays in the second half a defense can only take so much of that 47 place to 11
to 11 plays bro they gave them the suds they gave them the suns yeah i saw that that was funny as
hell but the point playing the eagles when it's right for the eagles it's like i liken it to an m m m ms fight and
i'm not some big m mma fan but i ask somebody i'm like yeah look at that that's how i feel today dude
God damn it.
Yeah.
Your boy,
your boy,
I was having a rough one.
But,
you know,
I asked one of my buddies
who watches MMA.
I was like,
hey, Dayton,
you know,
like,
what,
you know,
Dayton?
Shout out Dayton.
I was like,
who's a,
who's a fucking MMA guy
that gets you on the ground
and just beats the shit out of you
and you can't get up for the entire fight
to the point where the people watching are like,
this sucks.
This sucks.
Just sucks.
Kabib.
It's like in the second half,
they went Kabib mode.
And,
you know,
like,
that is a suffocating.
thing and it doesn't happen without the quarterback playing really well in the first half and here and here's
a deal when we talk about jalen hurts he can be one of two players and you know some people say oh you're
flip-flop and you're going back and forth i'm always going to tell you when he doesn't play well he played like
dog shit last week sometimes a player plays better one week to the next and i think the number one thing with
him is decisiveness. When he's decisive, he's a damn good quarterback. When he's not decisive,
he is not a good quarterback. If we can get that out of him, and I'm talking about that first
drive, they come out, they go stick nod right out of Landon Roberts. They have a plan. They
execute it. They hit a slant. They hit a crosser. He knows where he's going with the ball. He
holds the ball for a half-second lesson he did last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
And part of that to me is the Steelers, and we talked about this last week on inside the NFL,
the Steelers do what they do defensively.
I'm pretty sure they said in this game,
we're going to run our shit,
and Mike Thomas said,
we need the big guys that went up front,
which to me is a miscalculation,
because the big guys aren't going to win up front.
That group up front's too good.
And if you give Jalen a clear picture,
he's going to pick it apart.
And if Kellan Moore has a game plan like that,
they're going to roll.
And so in the first half,
getting out to a lead,
I know they didn't score a bunch of points
in the first quarter.
For a second there was Harry.
They overcame,
probably his only bad decision of the day.
The angle of that scramble
having to cut it back inside the T.J. Watt
and T.J. with the punch out,
sometimes the guy's just better.
But then the Cooper's Gene muffed punt.
They overcame that.
Like, that's something that last year
this team probably doesn't overcome.
A couple weeks ago, I don't know if they overcome it.
I think they worked some things out this week.
And I think the darnel Washington penalty
down at the goal line was a huge deal
in pushing them back to the point
where they didn't get a lead,
seven to three early in this ball game because nausea harris uh hurtled the guy and damn near went into the end
zone got knocked out of the two yard line by nolan smith who played his ass off um that was a big sequence in the
game but i just love the script early you don't have to go out and run the ball 30 times a game but if you're
going to throw the ball i just don't want to see a bunch of out-of-sync shots on second and long i don't want to
see things where jalen's holding the ball and rolling right four and a half seconds i want to see him at his
best, which is decisive. And if you don't, and if you don't like my assessment of the quarterback,
you can kick rocks. You can go watch another show. We're not here to kiss your ass. We're here to tell
if the quarterback played well or not. This week he played really well. And if he plays that way,
they're going to be okay. Am I worried about him? I said I was worried about him last week. I'm
always a little worried about Jalen, just because sometimes if he holds the ball too long,
the floor is pretty low. But if he's playing with timing, that was really impressive. And this is
what that that that team demands. Chris, I want to address Matt Minner in the chat goes,
what's your take on the Siri, Siri, Siri Bitt where he was trying to talk to Carter and the
D-line coach stopped him? I love it. Significant or just the media digging their heels in on this
narrative is insignificant. I mean, game day is emotional, high, strong. Jalen is a young player.
Totally insignificant. I don't personally know him, but like he's the kind of guy where, you know,
Just like talk it out after.
Talk it out after the game.
You don't need to address it on the sideline.
Everyone's emotions are running high.
I think Hurt was just saying like, let me talk to my guy.
Let me get him right.
There's nothing else to that.
So it's a great.
That's a absolute great job by a position coach, knowing your guy and knowing your head coach,
and knowing when to intervene at the right time before something gets way worse than it needs to be
because everyone knows emotions are high.
Everyone wants to win.
Everyone wants to do well.
Everyone wants to do their job well.
And I just think that's a perfect time.
I was in Chicago with Coach Hurt.
Were you?
Yeah.
Kyle was there.
He called me last night.
He was like,
yo, that guy is.
He's a big dude.
He's super cool.
He's super cool.
But it's just like,
he has a perfect body type
to diffuse that type of situation.
And it was great to see that.
And then Dom being over there too,
it was just like a perfect world win he's this type of guy that could just look down at you over
his nose and be like oh hold on a second buddy like back up like and that and that that that's what's
people people were like hey i need you to speak on you know that thing on the sideline as if it's
some big deal i really don't think it's a big deal the NFL is a complicated place there's 53 guys
53 different personalities coaches their jobs are on the line this is philadelphia dude
everything's going to be blown out of proportion, including the play of the quarterback sometimes,
including the coaching decisions, including things on the sideline.
That is what you signed up for when you play in Philadelphia.
But I will say this, I've seen that plenty of times where a player makes a totally boneheaded
play.
And Jalen's one of my favorite players in the league, but he made a boneheaded play.
And his emotions got the best of them.
Objectively hilarious.
Objectively a dumb play.
And then he's on the sideline.
And how it probably went was this.
Clint Hurt is reading him a riot act
And Siriani comes over to get a piece of him
And Clint Hurt says
Like a good D-line coach
Hey, I got this. I got this.
I understand this guy.
I'm in the locker room with him.
I'm in the meeting room with every day.
I got this.
And he does have it.
And you know, like who am I going to argue with Clint Hurt?
Guys got traps.
And it was smart because it up here.
It's a situation where it looks like the dude
For Breaking Bad kind of.
You can assume.
Oh, that's funny.
Big guy.
Yeah, he's like that guy.
Yeah, worked out and fucking had an athletic bone in his body because that motherfucker
looks like you can body slam all of us.
Bro, he's done a great job with D-Line.
I have a, um, I have a worst seat for this game.
Yeah.
And the worst seat is going to George Pickens, not being able to get in on the fighting,
on the field that was happening in this game.
And some of the chaos that was going on, that I could, you could just see Pickens being
in everything.
every single one.
Yeah.
Like the feeling of him being on the sideline
and seeing a fight happen,
it probably was like the worst
like out of body experience for him.
And so for that reason, he gets the worst seat.
I got to St. Louis Memorial,
Darius Slay, listen,
he's not the biggest guy,
but he's been shoved into stanchions
all over the NFL.
Trevor Penning knocked him into the,
into the Trevor Penning knocked him into the bench and then Washington who's basically like a
fucking offensive tackle decides he's going to put him on public transit puts him on the wall
like a hockey fight and Slay punches him now he got away with it I'm not and I ain't snitching
because everybody saw it oh it was so home cooking he's going to get a FedEx him and quit
no but here's the problem nobody could see it there were too many bodies in there when you're in a
melee like that people the people outside can't see that's my thing with the refs they're so
quick to phone in and say we've seen this or seeing that on personal fouls. But like if you're giving
the other team a personal foul. Yeah, but the other guy had a personal foul. It happens all the time
of the NFL where the second guy gets, doesn't get caught. All the time. I know. Yeah. And in that
scenario, I think there were so many bodies in there was hard to see like Malik Washington made him
disappear. So nobody could see him punching him. And good on Quigniard getting in there too as a rookie
and wanting to smoke. But Darius Slay, that was a big draw on penalty. Why did you try it? Why is
everyone try and slay? I don't know. It might be the podcast. Is it the podcast? I don't know.
But you know, don't let the guy, you know. You have to fall. Like, so here's the thing.
Like, as a D-Lyman, when you play noseguard, sometimes you're going to get double teams where guys are going to take advantage of you.
Yeah. And, and like, instead of just giving ground, sometimes you have to swallow your pride and just fall and make a pile.
I would say, slay. I would say slay. If you're in a situation like that, you're in a situation like that.
that bro just fall and he he took it worked out everything worked out everything worked out okay um and so
you know just just a really big turn in the game there where you could you know leave it tied three
three because after those two mistakes if you had a three and out off of that and you're down
seven three like the boo birds come out a little bit like because there was a feeling of for the
people that really are anti jalen which i just want to say nobody in this i mean like seriously
nobody's called for him to for his job nobody we just wanted to
play well there were people probably that were pointing him and saying when he fumbled that football see
there it is again you know and in that situation when you're at home sometimes it can be almost worse than
being on the road when you make a mistake like that to to get bailed out by the defense and just by
malique or not malik washington uh darnel woshington his kind of dumb play to drive him into the first
row there um you know that was big but the defense i got a shout of the defense i thought they came out
in that five down look and they said hey we're going to stop the wrong we're going to put those
two kind of three techniques and maybe a shade and you're going to bump the three one way or another
uh in those two overhangs and they said we're going to build a wall and stop this fucking run and they
did and by the time Pittsburgh tried to get on the edge it was kind of too late for the script of the game
i thought jalen played well early i'm talking about jalen Carter uh as well um with with the job he did in
the run game i thought nicoby dean was knifing in on first and second down he's become a real
a knife really is what he is on early downs and uh no one smiths
I just want to take another minute to talk about him.
I've talked about him once or twice this year.
I really, I've loved the edges he's been sitting all year.
He's been doing a great job of that.
But did you see on the Josh Sweatsack the power that he brought to disrupt that play
through the chipper and the tackle just played his ass off.
And again, I've told you, he hustled and knocked down Harris on that play before the big penalty.
If he doesn't knock down Harris, he might be in the end zone.
And then who knows?
But I thought Mitchell, again, steadily just.
doing his damn job.
And can we close out the defensive rookie
of the year conversation? I don't know that,
and I mean no disrespect to any of the rushers
who are involved. I love Jared Verst.
I think Lattu's played well. I think
Chop Robinson's play well. They've all got
four or five sacks. But
back in the day, when I was a kid,
four or five sacks as a rookie
wasn't defensive rookie of the year conversation
stuff. And you could tell me it's pressures,
but people suddenly don't
care about the sacks. Now they care about the pressures.
It's the corner. The corner
in Philly's one of the best in the league at what he's doing, which is playing corner,
which is one of the most important positions on the field. So I think this should be a runaway
for this kid. Just throw on the tape. I think it's a rusher to win defensive player
the year. You have to be up near 10 sacks. Will Anderson had seven last year,
disrupted the game in a lot of different ways. But I think, you know, cash it. If you got that
Quignan Mitchell ticket, if you don't get the money out of that thing, I feel like he got robbed.
Is he going to be up for like others like all pro and all that too?
Yeah, I mean, yeah, for sure.
You can still get that at plus money, plus 105 right now.
Oh, what?
Quinnian Mitchell, defensive rookie year plus 105 right now.
Who else is up there?
Guys, you need to stop the share for us.
Jared versus plus 130 and somebody else is plus 900.
Don't threaten me with a good time.
I think that's a good bet, dude.
I just think part of it is there isn't really like a pressure equivalent stat for DBs.
For sure.
You know, like pressures for defensive line.
and it gives them, it's like a metric
or a measure of performance that's not
a sack. I swear they didn't. You don't have that
about pressures when I pay. Yeah, no, they didn't.
No one's throwing to you like you exactly.
You don't have PBUs, but if no one's
thrown my way, then I don't get any PBU. And I think
pressures are incredibly important. But let's not move the
goalposts now. Right. And all of a sudden be like,
oh, we don't want to give it to the corner from, from Philly.
Yeah. Because a guy has a lot of pressures. And he's
going to be a hell of a player. I love verse. Right.
But what I'm saying is, this guy's already one of the best
corners in the league. Where do you stack verse up in a list of edge drivers?
100%. You know, he's a...
Or like the impact you make on your team or defense. Like I think you...
Yeah. Yeah. Because there are other guys on the D-line who have made a big impact too that are
newcomers Fisk. And Turner's Young. He's made a big impact. Um, you know, the other edge guy,
young has done a good job. So, you know, like, that's a good young group. Um, I think Quinnion
is a part of a good young group as well. But Cooper got a lot of got a lot of notoriety because they
moved in the lineup and they improve but that corner position is huge so and he's an exciting white
dude you need that yeah cooper yeah i have the t-shirt it's big for us i have the t-shirt let me get
it was so funny right you know what the funniest thing is and i haven't told the story yet so we do
inside the nfl in south jersey and one of my buddies uh nick shout out nick was like hey i know
the guys that made those exciting whites t-shirts you know and i'm like yeah obviously i know that
shirt. And he's like, do you want, do you want me to run some down? I'll get the guys to bring you.
They want to take a picture with you and we'll bring the exciting whites t-shirt. And I was like,
sure, yeah, bring some for the crew. So they bring all the t-shirts to inside the NFL and we get done
wrapping this show. And I'm doing a picture with the t-shirt. I'm like, wow, this is awesome.
Ryan Clark's like, this is hilarious. I need one of these. And then the guy goes, coach, here you go.
And he hands in the shirt. Coach looks at the shirt. Hands him the shirt back.
one.
These two kids from South Jersey are like,
I was like, I've been, I've been developing exciting ways for years.
Yeah, like, I know exciting.
I know who exciting white.
Come on.
I got the most exciting whites.
I found a lacrosse player.
Right.
I found a Kent State quarterback, made him a slot receiver.
Yada, yada.
But with the Steelers loss, with the Steelers loss and the.
and the Ravens winning,
it kind of feels like that whole thing got flipped.
Especially going into next week.
Yeah, and I don't know if Pickens plays,
the line's like six and a half.
Steelers and Ravens.
Like, what do you think about that?
I mean, like, if the Steelers win, they're in.
If the Steelers win they're in,
and I think they're going to get in.
I mean, they win the division if they win the division.
Yeah, yeah.
If they win this, this is a huge game.
I kind of lean Ravens.
the way they're playing right now, it just felt like,
it just felt like coming off that loss against Philly.
There was like, all right, let's get going.
Ravens six and a half, you said?
Six and a half when I looked.
Wow.
Now there's defensive or special team.
It's a good game.
But, but I think this is.
No T.J. Watt is big.
No T.J. Watts huge.
No T.J. Watts huge.
And part of the reason the lines, by the way it is,
I thought for a second it was a non-year,
on contact injury like an ankle um and lane came over to check on him like immediately it was
lane was almost like i did not know you could get hurt are you okay i didn't know like superman
could get hurt um but that was a lot of fun too watching lane and him battle tj got a sack on lane
but it was kind of like an around the world thing where jeline kind of bailed out of the back i thought
that was just like two hall of famers battling it out like just watching two premier players at their
position because it's like each one's gonna win you
know each other time and it's just good pure football you know like he had a great quote yeah i'm looking
for the the the lane quote here i think i got it um lane johnson i'll tell you son i'm gonna put it in
lane's voice i'll tell you all i was thinking about was t j watt today i didn't give a shit about
anything else get off the ball and don't let t j watt fucking destroy the game you watch that guy on
every film he's destroying football games hope he's okay he's probably one of the best in the world
And my lot of called Lane Johnson, the player of the match and the best alignment in the league.
And I would agree. I really would. I know there's some people that, you know, I've seen on some graphics, put up above Lane. And I know I'm Lane's friend. And I love the guy. But there's nobody better in the most important area of the game, which is protecting your quarterback. There's nobody better. You could say somebody else is better. You're wrong. I mean, Trent's up there. Trent's not been healthy.
you know, Sewell's great, but Lane's a better pass blocker.
And so if you're waiting the pass blocking,
I think he's the best in the world.
And Worf's is awesome, too.
I mean, like, there's some damn good tackles in the league,
and I'm sure I'm leaving off a couple of lead ones,
but I've played the guy.
I used to have practice against him every day in practice.
It was like anything you try.
The guy will beat you to nine yards before you can even get off the ball.
He set you with an underhand grip.
His hands are strong as fuck.
His anchor is incredible.
he's just a great player
I just love the amount of respect
he has for TJ too
has a huge amount of respect
He gets seven tackles two sacks
Obviously that respect has been earned
But I think when we interviewed Lane this summer
With Jordan in that little fucking tiny RV
You know we asked him be the hardest players to go
Against where and they said Miles Garrett and TJ
Yep
No question
It's a good matchup man
It was no question
It was awesome it was awesome
So October 24th
1965 is the last time the Steelers won at Philadelphia
Jeez Louise, what's going on with that?
Long time.
Been a minute.
Since the Stiegel's.
That's right.
You know that whole Stegles thing?
That's the Eagles.
The first time in the way.
The poll question here is are the Eagles the best team in the NFC?
I had them number two in the league in my power rankings last week,
which I hate doing power rankings, but we did it because I was looking for shit to do.
And I feel pretty good about that.
I actually feel like they're in their current form, they are the best team in the NFC.
but they are not immune to bad matchups.
You don't think they're better in the lions in the current form?
I think they match up well against the lions.
I think people sleep on the Vikings.
I think the Vikings,
if they have to go to Minnesota,
the Vikings,
yes,
the Vikings and the Eagles are the two best NFC football teams.
You know,
Chris Long and Bowie,
and Super Bowl 52 champs are maybe a little biased.
I'm not sure if you guys might think that.
But I think the Vikings,
I think that,
there can be an argument to be made that the Vikings are the best.
I also think there's another team that we're going to talk about a little bit.
Go ahead.
What did you say?
I just think just the way the lions are manged up is why they're not in that conversation.
If the lions played the Eagles today, you'd have a hard time covering AJ Brown, a really hard time.
You'd have a hard time covering Devante Smith.
Sey Kahn would have 180 yards.
You'd have to pick your poison on the receivers.
And they'd be able to run the football.
They'd be able to protect.
Detroit would not have a lot of pass rush.
they'd have to manufacture stuff.
And I think then the question becomes,
can you guard up on the other side of the ball?
And I think you can.
Eagles would win 33 to 24.
David Montgomery is out of the picture right now.
We'll see for how long.
Again, I'm not saying,
hey, the Lions weren't better six weeks ago.
They were.
But I can only deal in reality here.
And this is in homerism.
Like, I don't know with the Lions' health.
Now, if the Eagles got in,
there are teams like,
well, if the Eagles got in,
Eagles are getting in.
But when the Eagles get in,
there are teams in the NFC that I worry about.
We mentioned Minnesota.
I'll tell you who.
I worry about the Rams.
I worry about the Rams.
I know people said, well, they ran the ball over them.
I'll tell you who worries me a little bit more than that.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Yep.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had the Eagles number.
Top Bowls kind of, he's in Jalen's head a little bit.
How does that change with, you know, all these weeks that have passed since the beginning of the season?
But I felt like the Bucks have always kind of played up to the Eagles.
And so that's another matchup that I'd be a little nervous about.
but I do think right now that the best team in the NFC
just stacking them up.
And you said yesterday about the bucks,
you Baker through those two picks,
we'll get to that game later,
but Baker through those two picks and you said he's unfazed.
He's on the second half tossing darts.
He don't care.
He doesn't care.
He doesn't care.
He doesn't care.
He doesn't care, dude.
It's funny.
Okay, Chris,
so think about it, right?
You're talking about teams that you're scared of.
I feel like the AFC,
you've got some big bads that you're scared of,
and then there's no, like, sneaky teams
that you're like, oh, they're scary.
The NFC, there's some sneaky teams
where you're like, they are scary.
Yes, that's it.
If you didn't talk to the Packers,
the Packers are scary, okay?
The Bucks scary. The Rams are,
I'm scared of. I think the Rams are a scary
playoff. They don't scare me. If you're looking
from the Eagles standpoint, the Bucks
scare me more than the Rams, because I've already
seen them just bulldoze the ram.
I think the Packers are scary too, though.
The Packers are scary.
Packers are scary anyways, because
listen, they haven't beaten a lot of great teams.
but they've played right there with all of them.
It's like, and, you know, you watch them last night,
it feels like they're playing some of their best ball.
You got some live news in the chat.
What is it?
Montgomery out for the year.
Yeah, geez.
MCL tear, yikes.
It's just, it feels like Detroit just like they're cursed or something.
You know, this parade is just getting rained on,
and I take no pleasure in that.
I mean, like, obviously, you don't want to see anybody get hurt,
but, like, Detroit, with everything that franchise has been through
to get hit with this rash of injuries.
It just feels unfair, man.
They can't grind it out, man.
They're fucking grinders.
I believe in them.
Like, I want it for him so bad.
Who does Minnesota play tonight?
Who are the matchups that you worry about with Minnesota?
I think, like, in the current form, they have a leg up just because of health on Detroit.
The Packers.
The Packers.
The Packers in that first game got jumped early.
Yeah.
But, you know, I, to beat Minnesota.
Also, the Rams.
Like, okay.
Rams.
Stafford.
I think the Ram flows defense.
That's, I mean, that's kind of, we've already seen it.
Like, it would just be such classic, you know, and I, like, I'm, I'm a Vikings fan, man.
Like my whole, I want to actually, they're playing obviously tonight, Monday night football
against the Bears that's in Minnesota.
Ryan Griffin, one of my longtime buddies, he's been on the pod before.
I want to give him a little bit of love.
That's my best seat because he got the entire Allen family, mom, dad, sister, and my future
brother-in-law, all tickets to the game.
So appreciate that griff.
But that'll be fun for the Allen family, fun for me to watch from afar.
But if I'm the Vikings, I'm definitely afraid of Stafford, Huka and Cooper Cup and the Rams.
I'm afraid of those receivers.
Only offensively.
I'm afraid of the fact that they're pretty evenly distributed.
They can run the football.
And I also think up front, they match up pretty well against the Vikings defensively.
So we've already seen that movie in L.A.
It would happen in Minnesota.
Listen, the Rams went to Detroit last year.
and played them neck and neck
in one of the toughest games of the season.
I expect the same kind of performance
out of that team in the playoffs.
So wherever they go, that's one of those like, hey, puck are up.
And they could be hosting a playoff game.
Exactly.
So let's talk about, let's go ahead.
I was just going to say, I think they could still win the NFC West, right?
Oh, they're in the ever seen.
They're the favorites.
They're going to have.
Oh, after this Giacs loss last night?
Yeah, we'll talk about that off this Seahawks law.
anti-bevel conway seattle's uniforms just gross i kind of like them you would i mean they're just
so loud it's so easy for gino it helps because i think like honestly half it is like hey gino
when you get in the red zone like you know look for the guys in the highlighter uh uniform
the kind of the kind of people that like those seahawks uniforms are like you know nine-year-old kids
that like can't stop doing fortnight dances you know yeah yeah yeah yeah kind of
That's what I think.
I don't know who else likes them.
Maybe somebody in this room likes them, but I...
The Green Bay, though.
The Green Bay whites were good.
I know, but it just throws the whole matchup off.
To me, it's like, I wish Seattle would think about the people at home and bust those out.
Who, who, what does that look good with?
That you said it last night.
It's purple, maybe?
Yeah, maybe.
Could be good.
Maybe.
I don't know.
Like something darker.
It needs to be like a darker.
Ravens.
Ravens.
Ravens a bit...
Yeah, maybe so.
Yeah, maybe so.
Yeah.
I don't know.
It's just not my favorite.
I thought if they'd have gone blue, like old school blue,
and the Packers had, you know, their normal uniforms would be doing great,
but the all whites look good.
What happened to home field advantage in Seattle, ma'am?
Yeah, boy.
No kidding.
They can't win there.
And back in the day, it used to be the toughest place to play.
I can tell you, I'd go there once a year.
And especially late in the year, I don't know, man.
Packers kind of like their fans kind of took the stadium over, which is something that, you know,
they do from time to time all over the NFL, but I just didn't think it would be to that degree
because you could hear it last night. And more than anything, Seattle just got bullied up front.
The movement that they were getting up front, the Green Bay was getting in the run game early,
just, it defined the game. You know, sometimes you wait all day for a game like this in a matchup
that you're not sure how it's going to go.
the first drive, you're kind of like, oh, shit, it's one of these. And it just felt like Seattle
was going to have a hard time stopping the run. And then on the other side of things, they really
couldn't run the ball because of the game script. Sharbonnet had a decent game, but they weren't
committed to it. And more than anything, they gave up seven sacks and 12 hits on the quarterback.
And obviously, Sam Howell, who loves sacks, loves them. Just a sackaholic, this guy.
Santa.
I mean, that definitely played into the final numbers,
but it felt like they just got whipped up front.
You love sacks almost as much as he loves chicken.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Nearly.
What was it with the chicken last year?
He only eats chicken?
Only eats chicken.
No burgers, no steaks.
Yeah.
Chicken.
Why is he not in a chickfilet commercial?
Right.
That should have been the first thing.
Because they'd be like, who the fuck is this?
So just not a great night for Seattle.
They're one of the weirdest teams in the NFL,
where it's just like, bro, like,
They have some really...
Which team are they going to be today?
And, well, it's so matchup dependent
because if there's somebody that can out physical you,
they're going to have a hard time.
You know, like, and so when you think about them making a run,
like even if they get in, I just don't feel like it's going to happen.
Gino's not playing well enough at large this year to carry this team.
He's banged up now.
And now he's banged up and like, what do you do?
You turn to Sam Howl in a must-win game.
Or, you know, I'm hearing there's a chance he might,
he might be up for this game but let's talk about the packers because they really put it together
they really put it together and and dives is going to be a star in this league i i know it's like
taken until he part of it is the unselfish nature of that wide receiver room but like he is
he's so talented him picking the ball up off the turf in the end zone to catch up i swear it
i mean they have a great group of wide receivers that i feel like everyone sleeps on dude christian
watson that catch on the sideline too oh they were
were abusing reek woolen it's like yeah it was like they're good man and it's like oh yeah like
they're really good they're really good receivers lock you running back to i think json i mean they
they really they really do have some talent i'm talking about for the the packers though but yeah oh yeah
dude jsn is really fucking good oh yeah god i'm still stuck on seattle somehow sucking but yeah no
the the packers man and and the areas of the field they can access because of jordan love's arm
like Jordan Love, who's proved to be a pretty good cold weather quarterback,
which is half of playing late in the year,
go figure the guy plays in Green Bay.
But, you know, he's played well in the elements.
You know, I think he's played better as a year has gone on.
There were the injuries early in the year.
They're kind of playing their best ball right now.
Even in a loss to Detroit, I thought they played really well.
You know, to get the points before the half, that really killed Seattle.
To come out of the half down three scores.
If you come out of the half and say, hey, you're down 14,
We got a shot to come out and get points and make it a one-score game,
which puts a lot of pressure on Green Bay.
They just couldn't do that because of Jordan Love's arm and the armed talent.
And the 50-50 ball trust he puts in now Christian Watson and Romeo Dobbs
and obviously Jaden Reed and Wicks and those guys do the work underneath in the middle of the field.
They really are an explosive group.
And when you had Josh Jacobs to that equation, they're scary.
You know, they got a lot of movement up front.
I'll say this on defense.
Adrian Cooper was gone for almost a month.
He comes back immediate impact.
That guy was all over the field.
Really good player.
Makes a big difference.
You talk about the reason they're ascending,
not only halfway doing a better job in general,
but the linebacking core, you know,
has turned over a good bit since the days of what,
Devonjay Campbell,
because now in San Francisco.
By the way, is suspended for three games,
which is a big fuck-you-com.
talk block that's like hey we're not going to release you and let you go play for another
team we're going to spend you for three games and you're just not going to play football
i love that yeah you know you know i mean you dude i mean that's what you dude that's what he that's what
he wanted i don't i don't know me either you're my teammate and you do that like fuck you no question
and and that's kind of i've already given my take on this so now i'm going to get re i'm going to
get framed improperly but my take is like i have no sympathy for the guy but i'm not going to
sit here and be like hey fuck you i like i don't know the guy
and I'm not on that team.
That's for George Kittle and those guys.
Well, that's actually my fly on the wall.
I want to know what John Lynch said to him and kind of how that conversation went.
I saw something that was like, normally, you know these tweets go for the
Deggers, normally reserved John Lynch for the 49ers, had a tough conversation with.
Like, it's like, yeah, duh.
Yeah, and also one of the worst people to have a tough conversation with, like, you can't even argue with them.
Seriously.
Wasn't, didn't LG do that too?
before he went to New England.
LG did.
What are you going to say?
Fuck you to LG.
I love LG.
Yeah, see.
But like,
come on, man.
People can change,
but,
but it's a little late in the game
to be doing that for Devandre Campbell.
And so,
yeah,
just a really disappointing showing for,
and I like McDonald,
man,
I think he,
I can tell he's a good coach.
The way this,
the defense has come along this year
with the additional lineback.
You got to remember,
he went from Baltimore,
some of the talent they had in the middle of the field of the linebacker last year with Queen and Roquan.
And then he inherits a group that he's got to work through the first six weeks of the season before you go get Ernest Jones and before night comes on.
They have good cover guys outside, but it's kind of like the same thing I felt about Charles Cross where it's like, oh, Cross and Lucas, they're set of tackle.
I see Cross getting run over every week now.
And I'm seeing Rick Wallen in some bad spots that I just frankly didn't expect to see him in in coverage.
they have a lot of work doing the offseason,
but they still have a chance to slide in.
So when you're on a team,
it doesn't matter if somebody sitting here
and saying, well, even if you get in,
you can't go all the way.
They don't care.
You just want to get in the dance.
And so winning a division is a big deal.
They got a shot to do that.
The Rams have remaining, the Jets,
the Cardinals, and then the Seahawks,
and the Hawks have Minnesota, Chicago, and L.A.
Now, I see this going this way for them.
I see them losing to Minnesota and I see them beat in Chicago.
I really do.
I think Chicago they still have a chance to beat even in their current state, you know,
quarterback notwithstanding.
But then the Rams game, week 18, is going to be for the division.
And it's not one that I feel great about their chances in, but a lot can change in three weeks.
A lot has changed with the Seattle team from month to month.
Honestly, that's the good team that they played closest.
They got kind of blown out by all the other teams that they played with firepower and
physicality. Lions,
Packers now.
And there was one more.
They got blown out by somebody else who's up there in the wind totals.
They got beat by the Giants.
They got blown out by the bills.
The bills, right.
And that was an ugly one.
That was an ugly one.
That was just a hideous game for them.
So those two teams control their own destiny.
Go three and O and you win the division.
Or you could pray for a commander's collapse.
Right.
Finishes with,
commanders finished with Philly, Atlanta, and Dallas.
And all those games are loseable.
You know,
I'm not trying to like, you know, if you watch the commanders yesterday, you know what I'm talking
about, you know, like it's just kind of disjoint it. It's a, it's a hell of a rookie quarterback.
That game was somehow loseable for them yesterday too. That's what I'm saying. I mean, dude,
all right. Well, I'm saying like at the very end, like that, that was a, dude. I mean, we talk about
refs on here a lot. Yeah, let me, let me, let me, nine seconds on the clock for about five seconds.
and me and about a million other Americans
who are trying to close out teasers
with the Washington commanders
are holding onto their butts
and I gotta tell you
that was a situation where Rizzi and the Saints
played it perfectly.
They're down 17 in the second half.
They get back in it on,
this is Cedric Tillman dime
to the pylon.
That was probably the best throw of the...
Cedric Wilson.
Cedric Wilson dime to the pylon
was one of the best throws of the day
It was from like a wide receiver and then you know you find yourself in a game where
the commanders kind of kind of give them enough time to get down the field and you just knew
what it was going to be.
You knew I was saying it for like four minutes.
They're going to go for two.
Oh my God.
They're going to go for two.
Oh my God.
They're going to go for two.
And then they got down there and it was like the clock just kept ticking down and it's
and it paused.
And I'm like, oh, Vegas is in on this even though the line was seven and a half.
so it really doesn't matter.
Then, you know, like, you get down there, you score,
and they line up and they go sprint right option.
It's just like, you know, I like that call,
but maybe not with that quarterback, you know,
and Washington was all over it.
But Jayden Daniels was electric at times,
and he just doesn't have the help.
Even McLaurin dropped the ball late
that probably would have put the game away.
They're down Noah Brown now.
I think Ertz left with a concussion at some point.
after a great catch after a great catch but but they're just not you talk about teams that if they get in
i think they'd have a better chance to win a game ironically in the seahawks so i mistakenly put
above them in the power rink as i feel differently today just because i've seen the seahawks floor
now but it's like the commanders if they get in chances are they're not going to reel off a couple
wins it's just they don't have enough they're not one of those scary teams they don't have enough fire
And they also, like,
Dean Daniels got sacked eight times.
That's not good.
Yeah.
Yeah, a couple on third down in the first half.
But he put the team on his back at times.
Like that ball in the red zone was like a circus throwing catch.
And then the fourth and one,
and then the fourth and one where the read option is totally cooked.
He's got to take the ball and do something with it.
He goes backwards,
pirouetting over the first downline and kind of lands on his head.
Like, he's a special player.
Yeah.
He is.
I think.
Yeah.
Over the, I mean, the second half of the season, we've seen this offense become more up and down.
Like, they were first in the league and EPA per play through the first eight weeks, and they've been 11th since that point.
And to me, they're starting to feel like the chargers offensively in that, like, you need the quarterback to be Superman to score.
They probably have a little bit of a better run game.
But especially with Ertz down, Echler down, outside of McLaren, there's just not, he, Jaden just doesn't have.
have a ton to work with there and they need him to take over if they're going to score.
And it's tough. It's a lot to put on a rookie quarterback. He's doing the best job he can.
And it's a homecoming for him, a lot of pressure on them to win that game. I thought he was really
cool and calm throughout the whole game, which is not a surprise to me and watching him play
this year. But I just want to say this, Rizzi, what more can you ask from an interim head coach?
I mean, they're down so many guys, including the quarterback. At some point in this game,
they're down tomorrow late. They're down a lot of their best players, their best corners.
on the other team
Marshawn
Latimore where he finally plays
and you know he suits up for his old team
and by the way it's funny he was like
they were like hey do you take it personal
to the trade you he's like yeah man
I want to show him why they
you know what they're missing
you're like bro like you were probably
like green smoke Nick Cage
in the Alcatraz movie bro
you're trying to get the fuck up out there
it did him a favorite yeah in the rock
yeah the rock and now
like a great great movie Chris
That was a great movie.
Good reference.
Your references are out of control.
Oh, C, bro.
And since I was a kid, since it was a long time ago,
Nick Cage's wife in that movie was so fucking hot.
My wife can't say anything about it.
She's probably 60 years old now.
But she also is not going to listen this far into the damn live show.
But Nick Cage's wife in that movie was smoke.
And while we're here, the gal from Dumb and Dumber was incredible.
Lauren Holly.
Lauren Holly.
Jim Terry Marrii
has the mask.
That is,
Cameron Dyes.
For a minute.
Until she was like,
this guy's fucking craig.
This guy's fucking insane.
You know the way Kyle feels about James Winston?
He's kind of over it.
I'm kind of over the Jim Carrey stuff.
Like the interviews is that Tanner's like a little bit like.
Tanner's friend he said yesterday or somebody,
Tanner said that somebody was over Matthew McConaughey,
somebody in your personal circle and like,
what your feeling?
No, he apparently just been holding this information back from me for like as long as I've known him because I've got the Matthew McConae book.
I'm like, dude, he's just a chiller.
Yeah.
And then this guy's like, I hate to break it to you, Tanner, but I really don't like that guy.
Well, I'm going to do that for Jim Carrey.
I don't dislike Jim Carrey.
I think he's a great actor.
I just some of the interviews, I'm like, what do I do with this?
What do I do with these pearls?
I'm going to send you a documentary to watch about him.
Will I like it more?
I think you will.
Okay.
The mask and East Victoria are the greatest movie.
Well, he's not doing a good job of being understood, then you've got to make yourself understood.
But why?
This documentary will help.
You got to be clear, huh?
Why?
Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
For the record, I don't hate Jim Carrey. It's just, he's a lot.
I love you. That's why Lauren Hawley probably was like, bro, you're a lot, man.
Chris, we get it. You hate Jim Carrey because you're obsessed with that girl.
Yeah. Wait, wait. I'm like the guy with the briefcase.
I'm like, uh, I'm like, uh, yeah.
Way off.
Wait.
Bamps and I.
So you can make me happy, happy, happy.
Flowers everywhere.
Flowers everywhere.
Flowers in her hair.
Flowers in her hair.
There's a whole fantasy, and it wasn't true at all.
Yeah.
Sorry, the whole Lauren Holly sidebar here.
She was elite, and nobody paid her any respect.
This is our yearly segue into dumb and dumber when we have no idea what's going on.
Now, you guys do this.
See you later.
never seen you've never seen
say again
somebody said carry got a hold of some psychedelics man
i've gotten a hold of plenty of psychedelics i'm doing a football podcast
i'm giving you like EPA
stats and shit
not everybody goes that direction
after they eat somewhere else can you get both in the same breath
no i haven't seen dumb and dumber i have not seen it in full i've seen clips
that like go viral but
Truman show is one of the best movies ever
Truman show is great
Eternal Sunshine.
I haven't seen great movie.
He's an incredible actor.
It's incredible actor.
Have you seen boys in the hood?
Yes.
Yep.
Bo?
Jim Carrey's not in that.
Yeah.
He leaves a gym.
He might be an extra in there somewhere.
Yeah.
Okay.
So wild car picture.
Let's take a look at it, Matt Nacky,
before we kind of round this thing out with the bucks,
who picked up a big win yesterday.
So NFC wildcard, just to give you the rundown
before we get through it here, enhance.
I'm losing my vision.
Okay.
And like you said, there are some scary teams in that way.
Can you imagine Minnesota having to go on the road?
What do we say Minnesota having to go on the road and play?
Somebody threw out some scary.
I was throughout earlier that the Rams could host
Detroit in the first round.
Rams could host it in that situation where either Philly or Minnesota gets the one seed.
Currently it goes 5, 6, 7, Minnesota, Green Bay, Washington.
The Falcons, although I think they win tonight, are, we don't need to see the Falcons in the playoffs.
They're in big trouble, less than 20 percent, and the bucks are two games up now.
Yeah.
I just need to stay one game ahead.
Now, the Bucks, man, we've been, we've untold you about this, okay?
But this is a very good team.
This is a very good offense.
I think the way I would describe it is like, you said it earlier, Nolan, I was having trouble putting in the words, but it's like urgency.
It's like everything they do on offense, they do it with urgency.
And Baker is such a quick processor.
And I think him and Liam have a great connection.
Now, Liam wasn't coaching him from a play call standpoint.
McVeigh was the guy in L.A., but Cohen was the offensive coordinator, right?
Like de facto.
and can you imagine a couple years ago like them sitting in a room maybe there's a joke offhand
where they're like you know maybe we'll get back together again and i'll be the fucking OC calling
the plays and you'll be the quarterback ha ha wouldn't that be cool and now here they are and honestly
baker and i just want to say this baker mayfield does all this on his six or seventh coordinator
in the league like his career can't be longer in six or seven years right i mean what year is this for
him. There's like seven. Seven, I believe. Seven. He's in 2018. He's had six or seven play callers.
To make the adjustments that he's made, I don't think, I think he might be one of the most
underappreciated quarterbacks of our era. No question. And, you know, I can tell some people
are probably rolling their eyes at home. You, you're the one under appreciating him. He was saying,
he was saying, I can't remember who was in the chat. This was earlier like three hours ago.
hurts so much better than Baker, blah, blah, blah.
I think that's actually a pretty decent comparison.
No.
I think you can make, like, you think.
I'm going to stop talking.
Yeah, you know where your bread is buttered.
No, I'm going to stop talking.
I'm going to stop talking.
Because I, you know, I, I'm going to stop talking.
Baker's had a great year.
Baker's a damn good quarterback, dude.
Like, it just is what it is, man, at this point.
And people always want to discount the guy.
I remember last year I said he's better than Trevor Lawrence.
and people laughed at me.
I said he's done more than Trevor Lawrence in the league,
and they were getting ready to play the Jaguars.
People laughed at me.
And I used to not think this.
It's not like I'm some like Baker Homer dude that was back in Cleveland.
Like he's going to be the guy.
I didn't know he'd be the guy.
And there were times where I was like,
he can't see over the line.
That's the problem.
Well, maybe the problem was Freddie Kitchens,
you know, like things like that.
And so I just wanted to tip my cap to the guy
because he's on like coordinator six or seven.
What was the clip when I think Freddie Kitchens walked over to Baker
and was like, Kim and was like,
er,
and, like, jiggled his, his beard or something.
And then he walked away,
and Baker was like,
that fucking idiot.
Dude,
he had some of the weirdest bedside manner,
so to speak,
as a coach.
But I think Baker's,
I think Baker's,
I think Baker's,
an answer there.
I mean, like,
we know that now.
It's year,
two,
and the whole thing.
And look what they found in free agency.
Liam Cohen,
and I want to shout out the wide receivers coach,
Brian McClendon,
doing a really good job with these guys.
like everybody the passing game so precise ton of pace we talked about that they access all types
of different areas of the field he throws the ball over the middle really well yeah with a lot of zip
and he throws the ball outside the numbers really well and when you got mike evans yep you know it's
like who would have thought when mike when mike remember when mike was going to they were talking
about mike leaving yeah and mike was like no i want to stay here i got my ring i want to finish with the
bucks or you know like and when baker came in you know some people were like oh this this the
What a downgrade.
Obviously, he's not Tom Brady, but him and Baker get along really well on the field.
And Mike is a quarterback's best friend anyways, but you can tell they really love playing with each other.
Dude, they're doing this shit without Godwin, too.
Like, people sleep on.
Chris is so good also.
And when Chris and Mike were hurt, their offense was still surprisingly potent, you know,
like they've been doing such a good job of getting Bucky Irving going late in the season,
using him and Rashad White on the field at the same time where there was like 20 personnel,
you know what I mean like he's a little old pony action but like getting their playmakers
the ball even though they've had their two biggest offensive playmakers um dealing with injuries
like dude Liam Cohn is fucking cooking man and baker's playing with like so much confidence and
I just I just think his attitude is fucking awesome.
Mike Evans that's my game ball yeah nine catches for 159 and two tuddies yeah it's crazy
to think that the way his injury
he happened at the beginning of the season, it looked like his hamstring, like, fell off the bone.
No question. And, like, who knew that here we are at this point in the season? And he's just torching.
He's still torching. Like, it's just like, everyone's different when they heal with your hamstring,
when you're someone that has to run an open stride. And, like, your hamstring is, like, everything
that's going on, like, with you physically. And you're able to come back and do that at his age.
And at his point in his career, it's very, very impressive.
And after missing those, he's 85 a game, man.
Yeah, after missing those three games, he needs 251 more yards to get a thousand for a year.
I just didn't like, I don't like the player style comparison to Jalen.
They're different players.
Like here, I was just, I've been racking my brain to think who to compare bigger to.
Oh, I got you a little.
Well, because it's just not, it's just not an accurate.
Brett Farr.
No, he's like, he's like, he's like a reckless Drew Brees.
you know, without some of the Drew Breeze Hall of Fame qualities.
And every man.
He's like in every man Drew Breeze, dude.
I mean, he really, I mean, and honestly, he's done more with his legs this year,
which has been, which has been good things.
He's mobile, dude.
And that's, he ain't, he ain't hurts mobile.
They're just different.
So, you know, like, if you talk about, you know, comparing quarterbacks, I kind of like,
I kind of like more of a guy who, who's going to be, I mean, he is a timing thrower.
You know, he's going to, he's going to drop back there and kind of just,
and just zip it and he he doesn't have a conscience he really doesn't like i can tell it gets you
riled up sometimes chris well you in the chat you reminds me of romo as a player really yeah rome
yeah i i just and not to short quarterback him but the guy that came to my was breeze a little bit
with uh i mean i could be wrong barb i'm not saying he's breeze because somebody's gonna play
game of telephone with 15 of their friends
like a bit. Chris Long was saying he's Drew Breeze.
I didn't fucking say that.
You're a liar.
But anyways.
With Liam Cohen, is he
on your short list for head coaches
next season? Like where would you rank him
if there's three? We'll get interviews.
He's going to definitely get interviews.
You've got Ben Johnson out there.
You've got Mike Vrabble.
You know what? Is he top three?
Let's think about. Can we think about
something? Yeah. Bill's still in the
in the cycle, isn't he?
doesn't he have like an opt-out clause for his scholarship in in june yeah yeah um here's the thing
about ben johnson everybody's talking about ben johnson like he's the hottest name we've been
waiting a long time he's done a good job building the intrigue around his name too by turning
down a job and all this stuff like and asking for a lot of money you almost are like yeah well
yes sir worth it no problem yeah worth it fucking are only yeah yeah yeah um but like uh
You know, there is a universe in my head that exists where Liam Cohen's like the Diamond of the Ruff here.
And he ends up being, you know, a hell of a head coach.
There's a lot more than just call and plays that goes into being a head coach.
And so I think Cohen, by all accounts, and Bo, you know more guys in Tampa seems to be a guy that, you know, people would rally behind in a room.
Yeah, I don't know that he's necessarily, yeah, I mean, he's a great coach.
He's been doing an unbelievable job for their offense.
I don't know him as more of a as much of a leader of men.
I don't mean raw, right? Like if you look at a guy like Dan Campbell, okay?
He's not exes of him. He galvanizes the troops, like things like that.
And Liam Cohen is not that kind of guy. You know, he's more of a, I don't know, I mean,
Sean McVeigh is a pretty easy comparison. It makes us to have that history together.
Maybe not the same kind of Wunderkin vibe that McVey gave off. And he was going to be a coach initially.
but he's very well-liked, well-respected in the locker room.
I know that personally.
Like, I was actually talking with Cambray about him today.
Guys love him.
They love him because his offensive scheme is great.
So I think he is probably a dark horse hit candidate.
He'll get interviews for sure.
I still think he needs another year.
That's just me personally.
I also think that the bucks are set up well for next year.
So, like, I don't necessarily know that he's like hurting and hunting for a head coaching job.
Right.
He could be this year's Ben Johnson.
He could say, hey, you know what?
no thanks.
Exactly.
And so that's kind of the NFC.
Let's round out with the AFC wild cards.
We've got a couple of these teams that, you know, relevant matchups.
The first one being Houston and Miami, which kind of got lost in the shuffle,
but it had a big game vibe about it.
You know, obviously Miami's playing for their entire season.
And C.J. Stroud is playing to keep, you know,
to try to win the division, basically.
I mean, like, guarantee a home game, which is a big deal.
I thought C.J. Stroud, who's taking a lot of shit this year,
and I'll defend C.J. Stroud, like, here, you can tell where I am on this quarterback.
I think he's damn good.
And I thought late in downs yesterday, he got him out of a lot of trouble.
There were some third down early in third quarter where he's in the grasp.
And I don't know how he got this ball out.
Yeah, to come from Arizona.
Oh, my God, dude.
When that guy's on, he's just on.
And, you know, like, I do think it's akin to Patrick Mahomes,
not comparing the players, but Patrick Mahomes is eventually going to look down
with the rush.
He's eventually going to get frustrated when things are chaotic for a while.
Even the best quarterback's not going to play as well.
This guy hadn't had a clean pocket all year.
Now, they moved some guys around offensively up front,
and I thought it paid off.
I thought it definitely paid off.
Yeah, but.
They went Titus Howard at left guard.
and then back at guard where he was playing last year good bit.
Yep and then brought in the rookie blake fisher at right tackle you thought he played okay
yeah i thought he did fine he um like he has that spatial athleticism the hand uses you need
to be a pro tackle i think they can develop him um chop robinson got him on a on a dip and rip late
in the game but for the most part definitely an improvement overall for the protection for the texans
and i think you saw that reflected in the confidence cj was playing with listen uh if you
you just looked at the offense you say okay we did some things better but 20 points is not enough
you know like if you're playing one of these teams that can really stress you ironically i'm saying
that talking about the dolphins because most people think of them as a Ferrari but they're like a
Ferrari that breaks down every time they play a good team seriously yeah if they're playing somebody else
they're going to lose that game um you know they just they they couldn't get the run game going
which was a little bit of a surprise to me i think anything we were
has done a great job in Miami.
Great job.
But they couldn't get the run game going.
Joe Mixing got kind of caught up in another hip drop tackle,
which ironically, there was one in the Philly game as well with A.J. Brown didn't get called either.
They're just not calling these, whether they're intentional or not, because I don't think
the one in Philly was intentional.
Boy, am I sure.
A lot of people disagree with me.
I don't think they're ever intentional.
I think sometimes they're intentional.
Sometimes you just don't have.
any other option like when you're a linebacker pursuing uh you know a receiver in space and you're kind of
behind them a little bit like i don't know how else you're gonna like your momentum kind of carries i'm
with you on that i'm with you on i don't really know but there has been you tell me there's never
been an intentional hip drop tackle i mean no i'm telling you some of these dudes really know what
they're doing i don't think you're like you're trying to hurt the guy you're not trying to hurt the guy you're not trying to
at the guy. You're not trying to drop on. But you are trying to do the hip drop tackle sometimes,
which I'm sure because I've seen guys drop people at the sticks. I've seen people drop people
at the sticks like very intentionally. Oh yeah. You know, whether they're being dirty or not,
that's up for debate. Like only only they know their intent, but like it can be employed as a
strategy. Now, having said that, Joe Mixen's dealt with two of them this year. And so that's got to be
very frustrating. But they couldn't get the run game going. But this game's won and lost when
Miami had the ball. Like, that's it. Miami, how many times do I have to say I'm tired of talking
about this team? Toon, are you out there? Like, what's going on, bro? Like, seriously, Mike's 3 and 15
versus winning teams. Three and 15 versus winning teams. So it wasn't focused. He's worried. I'm not
saying that. He's worried about home invasions. I'm not, yeah, he's got armed guards, though.
But I'm not saying, listen, I think Tua's had some really good moments since he came out of that concussion. I'm
super glad he's back healthy.
But it is what it is with this group.
It is what it is with this quarterback and this group.
Now, you know, if you're telling me it's not the quarterback, then you need to fire the head coach.
Like if the fans are making a decision down there in Miami and there's a faction of the fans
that are like, no, this guy's not the problem.
No matter how many times they get out there and play a good team and lay an egg like that,
it's not the quarterback.
Well, then you absolutely should have fired that coach yesterday.
And good luck putting your,
quarterback in another offense.
Okay.
I'm just telling
you it's one of the more disappointing
if I wasn't on the other side
of this narrative that I
got killed over calling out,
I'd definitely be very disappointed
just as a football fan
because they have so much
potential. I think
Mike's a really good play caller.
The run game alone on this team
and this is with tackles down and
offensive linemen down, they've had at different points.
They've had issues up front. But
like the speed outside and then they lose Waddle at some point in the game yesterday.
Hopefully that's not too bad.
But four turnovers forced by Houston, they're just too fast.
When they play a defense that's got speed and you can't speed bully them.
It's just the problem for this group in the passing game.
And Tua looked off and honestly, you know, they're going to have to go back to the drawing board in Miami because this is it for them this year.
They need to go back to it.
If they come out of the offseason with the same setup, Mike and Tua,
then it's the definition of insanity, in my opinion.
Go get Darnold.
You're waiting for...
Go get startled.
Do something different.
If Minnesota lets Darnel walk, absolutely.
Exactly. But I don't know what they will.
And so the question is, like, what do you do?
Huh?
No.
Aaron Rogers.
Although it'd be an upgrade.
I don't know if it would be an upgrade.
I don't want to say that.
But the guy they have now can't really move that well anyways.
So it's not like you have to be incredibly mobile to play in this offense.
Oh, I have a question for you.
Not Daniel Jones.
I have a question for you.
Yeah.
How are you feeling about your hunter sack total bet?
It's close, huh?
What's he at?
He's at 12.0 and half a sack behind the league league.
Bro?
And who's leading league, Hendrickson?
What's the total you're looking for?
Hendrickson's hurt.
I have like a $150 bet that pays $5,000.
And Henderson's hurt.
No, that's Hubbard.
Oh.
Hubbard's hurt.
What are the terms of it?
Yeah.
Don't mix up your white rushers name.
Yeah, I know, right?
That's crazy.
Sam gave his PCL yesterday.
He sacrificed himself not making a great touchdown catch, but he made a hell of a touchdown catch.
But I just, the difference in the game in a game like this where both offenses are just kind of disjointed at times the quarterback.
I think CJ Stroud is one of them ones, dude.
Yeah.
He just is.
And, you know, he elevated his team.
The other guy didn't.
And defense played their ass off.
But like I said, they got to go back to the job.
drawing board in Miami it's like it would be and that was one of the reasons why I was like oh you
paid the guy now you're locked in dude it they're kind of in a fucked up situation now they're
going to be dolphins fans they're going to kill me and I get it you don't like hearing it but but
even the most devout supporters of this regime and I mean the regime quarterback and coach
have to admit this is not worked out well that you got nothing to show for it so you got a bunch
stats you got a bunch of oh they're one of them you got the color analysts is always like oh well hey you know
they're one of the most explosive teams in the league statistically you know yada yada yada i'm like well
what are you watching right now because you're in town because it's not translating and a wins
winning team part of that is because of two as injuries and things like that but i think part of it
is just it just feels like they should be better honestly they should be better and they're not
i want to know how you feel about the texans uh in the playoffs because they have
are not a team that I'm scared of.
They're not a team that scares me in their current form, no.
But, you know, there's only week one off a buy for them.
And they made some adjustments.
Maybe the adjustments continue to bear fruit in the form of, like, at this point,
like just increased efficiency offensively.
You also have to remember, they come out of the buy,
they reshuffle the offensive line.
You would think they'd come out and say,
hey, we're going to be able to depend on Joe Mixing,
who's been great all year.
He didn't get it going.
So this is a game where they couldn't get the,
the run game going. That's not going to be every week.
Miami does a good job defensively.
I'm impressed with Anthony Weaver's group.
Yep.
Like, Sealer was a problem in this game.
Sealer's great. I was just going to say, no.
He is. He's a dog.
Talk about an exciting.
Come on.
That's it. He's a dog.
He's productive all season, man.
Like, I think he is one of those really good, sneaky good
defensive linemen that does not get enough love.
No question.
I have a lot of love for him as a player.
I think in the broadcast yesterday, they said he had the second or third most
sacks since
2020,
interior de lineman
since the start
of last season.
He's going up there.
Like a small school, right?
Farrah.
Ferris State or Ferris State.
Yeah.
Yes, exactly.
Yeah.
He's a dog.
He's a dog.
He gets loved.
The Texans do have one advantage
and if they want to start
resting people, they could.
They're pretty much locked into that four seed
with three games to go.
Yeah, because their
other fucking divisional opponents
are absolutely brain dead.
Chris Stricker in the chat says
Not the Finn's fault
They couldn't perform well under
The wise and
Tootelage of the pride of Hayes, Kansas
Skylar Thompson
I think you're being funny
But
How many times you have to see this movie, guys?
Is the point made?
Can I stop?
Maybe Chicago should trade for Mike McDaniel.
Maybe that would work.
Ooh.
Oh.
I don't know that because the team has
Because it's not just the quarterback
It's not just the it's not just the
It's also the lack of physicality on offense
When things really get tough
Like it's also the discipline to me
And that does fall in the head coach
Like penalties when they got the ball
At the end your season's on the line
With four minutes 20 seconds ago
You gotta have your best calls
You're backed up
This is really maybe your last chance
Now you got one more chance
I laughed yesterday because they got the ball with 420 left
and it was like the highest possession I've ever seen.
Like it was like they were all high.
It was seriously, did you see this?
This possession was one of the worst possessions of football
I've seen all season, especially with the game on the line.
It was nuts, bro.
It was like, it was like I heard the circus sounds over a montage of that drive.
It was bad, dude.
and there's a lot of talent that they've kind of wasted in this window my point in saying that
no i agree i agree with you they have to change something but the quarterback's not going anywhere
you know no i know so what what kind of offense seriously let's take a pro dolphins approach here
what kind of offense would you would you run if it's not mcdaniels with that quarterback
a wink tea that try something new i like that that's the one that's the one the one the one
the running is the one for him yeah and these are the results you're getting that's what i'm saying it's the
perfect offense for the guy yeah and the results when it matters not great so houston they're they're
gonna go right um and miami's not going and uh you know i think difference is the quarterback and so you know
cj strout as bad as he's been this year i don't mean bad like all the time but i'm saying like for
houston fans they know there's been up been up and downs you got a guy dude i you got a guy dude i
He is, he's a stud.
He's going to be okay.
Right now, you might look back on this year and say,
hey, we botched the team building aspect of it,
or maybe Bobby Sloick just didn't have it together,
or the offensive line coach wasn't doing a great job.
But I think you'll look back in a couple years and say,
hey, that was a speed bump.
You know, and they could still go on a run this year.
Heck, they're going to the playoffs.
It's just one of those things.
Yo, you know.
Wing T.
The defense is still fucking flies around.
Houston's defense.
Yeah.
Rekill an A chain in the backfield.
Ooh.
Intua.
Yeah.
The I've done, like, Intua.
Yeah, I think you look at the AFC, like the big picture with the playoffs.
It's like, like who scares you, scares you, bills, ravens, and then Broncos for read.
But like, seriously, it's bills and ravens.
And so, I don't know.
I just think.
Dealers, maybe, you know?
I'm talking about like scared, you know, like the way we're talking, like in the NFC,
It's like lions, Eagles, Vikings,
bucks, Rams, Packers, all those teams can put
30 on you. Whereas like on that side,
I don't know. Things are still open.
Yeah. I just
had a thought. It's gone.
I was going to bring something
up.
While I'm trying to remember
my thought, let's do MRP.
MRP here. No, here's my question.
If the Houston Texans,
you know, they're playing at home in the playoffs,
division winners, who are they probably
going to host? Most likely it would be the Steelers or Ravens, whomever doesn't get the
division win from that, which is most likely the Ravens. Could they beat the Steelers?
Absolutely. I kind of feel like they can. Yeah. Could they beat the Ravens? I don't know about that.
No. They'd be a tough one. Last year, that batch of a six point dog against the Ravens and probably
like a two and a half point dog. And now they've gained some ground because last, you think there'd be
six point dogs at home? Against the Ravens, yeah. Yeah. Last year they were nine point dogs.
at M&T.
So I don't know if they made up any ground or not.
I can't do the math in my head.
But that's a matchup they're not going to want to see.
So if you're the Texans,
you're kind of pulling for the Ravens
to beat the Steelers this weekend
if you're looking ahead that much.
You could even look ahead and hope the Broncos
get that five seed.
Yeah, no question.
Broncos got the win.
MRP.
Oh, we got to do MRP.
Dolphins and Texans, MRP.
And I think a water boy is one of the first ones mentioned.
Whitney Merciless.
Water boy.
Yeah, Whitney Merciless, he was a really good player.
And how went to Tanzania with me to do water projects.
We've got Brooks Reed, that's a good one.
Sage Rosenfels is a good one.
Play for the Jack.
MRP, most random player, Dwayne Brown.
I don't think he qualifies as random.
No, I'm not, you know.
O.J. McDuffie.
Wow.
Who the fuck is that guy?
Way von Schaman.
Sure.
Little shoot him up.
You win.
He posted his card.
His name is Little Shoot him up?
The guy on the, um, on Twitter.
The Dolphins player now he's U.E. Von Schu.
Little shoot him up.
420.
I don't
that guy
he's always
in the chat
that's random
as shit dude
great job
great job
and that's
it looks to be
after their
the years
of like excellence
like maybe between
shula and
Marino
it looks 80s to me
yeah
yeah
maybe early
early Marino
early Marino
he was with the dolphins
from 1979
and 1984
when did
he was a
M. Wins to Ray Finkel. Finkle.
Yeah, I know. It's kind of wild, dude.
Einhorn.
I know.
I know. I know.
All right, let's talk about the Broncos.
Let's talk about them.
Let's talk about Cowboys Broncos, man.
That was a big win.
Nick Benito.
I'll just say he's too.
Yeah.
It really just comes down to, it comes down to two plays indie made on offense for the other team.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Because first off, first off, first off, first off, first off,
before we get this started.
I am.
Yeah, I have a hollow man from this game, and that's J.T.
Do they not teach crossing, like ball over the line at Wisconsin, Bo?
Dude, he has been, I mean, he's pretty reliable back, great guy, really good player,
but it's like, how do you do that, man?
I have my fantasy team, too, so, like, you know, we're in the playoffs.
I want to take down Macon.
You know, I'll secure that victory, hopefully, to
night but i used a pretty high draft pick on jt and he's a really good player man he's a great back
and a series of really good backs for my alma mater wisconsin and he completely fucked that up so
i know he's not happy about it he's embarrassed about it he should be that's a bad play i said this
wrong earlier i mixed up mentions my stel was mike evans my game ball is actually going to jonathan
Taylor because he single-handedly, single-handedly helped me cash.
Broncos over-season total, eight and a half wins.
Alt total.
Alt-total.
I moved it from five and a half to eight-and-a-half.
You thought I was crazy.
Man, man, man, from five and a half to eight-and-a-half, a big difference.
Yeah, there's a difference.
Yeah.
And that bonus bet hammered it.
And what do you know?
And what do you know?
And we got three games left.
I'm mad that I didn't put it at 10.
What would it happen then?
Like, if I would have hit that, bro, I probably wouldn't have came into work.
Golly, dude.
I'm just happy you won this bet, bro.
I'm so stoked.
But the best thing was waking up this morning.
And after talking to you guys and you guys fill in my head that this bet whenever it would hit,
that like it most likely wouldn't be cashed out
until the season's over.
And the fact that I woke up this morning
and see my account with a number in it
that I've never seen before,
it felt very, very good.
Take that to the MGM.
Play some Spanish 21.
That shit is already cashed out.
No way.
That way.
Taylor's fumble, I mean,
you really say that the two plays
it turned the game.
That would have been 20 to 7
at that point?
Yeah, I'm 13.
Right off an interception.
I was cussing in here.
I was cussing.
And then that happened and I was like, oh, that's the momentum.
I was like, that's the momentum.
And then even better, the play corner is like, you know what?
I can make this worse.
Let's throw a double pass.
Let's throw a double pass.
And the guy got the laces right.
He was like, hold on a second.
Let me get the laces right.
Throw it back.
Bro. And this is funny. This is after I sent the group chat,
fuck Bo Nix because I was like so invested on getting this last win this yesterday
instead of sweating it anymore. And he was just playing terrible to start that game.
And then the Colts just decided they wanted to play work. I'm going to admit. I just didn't see
much of this game because of the other two games. And it's just down my list. So
Bownecks, a little shaky. No, not a little shake. A lot of shaky.
In the first three quarters, it was rough.
Three picks.
Surprising to me thinking about.
Awful pie.
Bradley versus...
Oh, Gus Bradley for Sean Pate.
Sean Pade.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, you know, I thought he would have a plan that would work early.
And Anthony wasn't great, huh?
No, he was not.
That sucks.
This is a guy really want to see succeed.
Yeah, he had a mind...
The Colts minus 1.37 EPA per play against the Broncos
in the second half was the second worst performance in any half by any team in a, by any team in a game since 2000.
But the worst is, listen, listen, I had a ticket yesterday.
Josh Allen, two anytime touchdowns.
Anthony Richardson, two anytime touchdowns.
I'm watching both games.
Josh Allen marches down first two possessions, two touchdowns.
Check on my ticket.
First drive of this Colts game.
Anthony Richardson marches down, scores a touchdown.
Check. All I need is one more touchdown.
Should have cashed out?
No, no cash out. No cash out option.
Well, you weren't that close.
Three out of four touchdowns and then Anthony Richardson just decided to play crazy.
And you know the worst thing about that?
That fumble, that Jonathan Taylor, if maybe the ball would have just went out of bounds at the one when he did that,
Anthony Richardson would have got to run it in.
And it would have been poetic justice for me.
What would you?
play. It was selfish. What would you have rather had? The Broncos win total hit or Anthony Richardson
two touchdowns? Oh, I would have, I would have loved for both of them to hit. And there was a point in the
game when it got desperate when I knew the Broncos were already going to win. It's just like, who cares
of Anthony Richardson scores right now? Hey, they're still going to lose. The funniest thing, can you share
our little conversation about what you told me? You were like, after this win. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
After this win. He walks in. And I, here I am thinking,
And just go ahead.
Take it away.
Yeah, I no longer am associated with the Broncos.
We'll be right back.
And it's funny because, honestly, I really told them today, I was like, I know the fans
would love this.
I could put the Broncos on the grill right now, to be honest.
Why?
Because they could be done with them?
You're even forced me?
Curtan might be hurt.
Your number one cover guy has an ankle issue right now.
Bowdox does not look good after a buy.
Like, he looked great.
But like after a buy, you think that your quarterback is probably going to look decent.
It's like the floodgates of your criticisms on the Broncos.
Man, it has been.
Why else do they suck?
Why else are you done with them?
Because that didn't look good.
Can you tell him what you told me earlier?
What's that?
About the bad MGM account.
out.
Oh, what?
You were like, bro, like, if this hits, I'm only a couple.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I'm only down a couple.
But I'm like, wait, you're not winning?
Chris said, why?
I said, yo, after this bet hit, I said, yo, I'm not going to lie.
I'm like almost even with BetMG.
With BetMG.
Oh, it's like, what?
You're down?
And Chris was like, why?
It's like, because I'll be losing bet.
Yeah, but you're making like two and a half dollar.
How are you losing?
That's so funny, dude.
You're so funny, man.
I hope you win the rest of them.
Let's get together and put a big, like a parlay this weekend.
Come on, let's just do it.
Bro, like you go me.
I've been, let's do one tonight.
Yeah.
Monday night action.
Hey, I want to get.
I just got an account down here in Florida.
Let's go.
Let's get to the flyover, shall we?
Right after.
Damn.
Oh.
We're going to hear from Airbnb real quick.
Yeah, we are.
We'll get to the flyovers.
I'd love to hear from Airbnb.
Oh, it's your boy.
What's up, Green Life fans?
It's your boy, Dr. Fax, and I want to talk to you about Airbnb.
Me and the Greenlight crew, we stayed at Airbnb for the Super Bowl in Arizona, and it was
absolutely immaculate.
It had a huge cactus in the backyard, had a pool, had enough room for everybody, way
better than a hotel.
and then recently just purchased a house with my girl and we found out that we can be host and your house might be worth more than you think and you can find out at arbb.com slash host that was a really good ad read dr fax is smooth with it uh can i can i say something real quick before we get on uh shoot benito i know you mentioned we all screen benito because obviously he made that big play on the throwback but i said this last night uh uh
In a year like this year where there's not like a 19 sack guy, this guy, if it weren't for the
fact that he's not a household name, I think you'd be talking about him. If you put him in,
I don't know, say Micah Parsons body. And he's Micah Parsons. You know, and he's right up there
in sacks. He's got two pick sixes in two weeks. He's got, he's at 11.5 sacks, one behind
trade. He's got a fumber recovery for touchdown, whatever that means. I saw all these like those
crazy espion stats where he's like the only player since to do these four obscure things yeah but he's
had a really great year 14 and i know he's not he's not justifiably in the dpo i race there's a lot of
attention these other guys in this upper echelon are paid that maybe benito's not he's third but he's
third in sacks and in odds for d p oi he's odds at third and odds for d p oi and he should be is that
Wow, winning DPOI this year is like beating the damn warriors with Kevin Durant's and
Killies Pop. Honestly. That's a good analogy. T.J. Watts still the favorite and Pat Sertan
a second. Who would have thought Broncos two candidates? Wild. Wild. But he's played great. I just
want to say that. Really great. He's got tackle for a loss in 11 straight games. If he gets to 12,
he ties uh,
Sugs with the Ravens.
He's,
he's a dog from, uh,
2010.
He's a dog.
He's a beast.
We love him.
Yeah.
Uh,
let's do it.
Jets,
Jags.
Let's do the plane.
Neer.
Hey, I want to give my STL
Memorial to everybody on the field in this game.
This game was amazing.
Dude,
this game was incredible.
What's wrong?
We owe God and you don't like it?
I got to somebody in the chat said you're talking to Aaron Rogers.
Somebody in the chat a couple minutes ago said,
Bose toxic and I'm starting to agree on that. I'm not to find that what's wrong with this game.
This game was electric. Oh, it was so great. Aaron Rogers and Mac Jones. Mac Jones does a spin move
and does the Rizzler celebration to fucking gouge my eyes out. Dude, that part of it was almost unwatchable
because you know, I feel about Mac Jones. He's he he beat somebody with spin move and did the Rizler,
which I wouldn't even know how to do. But he also juke to.
Will McDonald and I'm pretty sure
he looked back at him.
And I and I just
somebody's gonna knock his block off
at some point. I don't mean hurt him at all.
I just mean hit this motherfucker.
Dude, if he's gonna be running around here
the way he's been kicking
D. Lyman and the dick
for a couple years now doing these little slides
these little Tom Brady slides and being like,
I didn't know what, well,
it wasn't doing that on purpose.
I love that little voice.
Oh, the body language
drives me crazy.
Someone that just has to do it.
They just have to be like, fuck it.
I'm going to chin check.
I don't mean Aziz al-Shayir.
No, not that.
I mean, Karen Johnson.
No, I mean like Ebo.
Like, hey, man, you want to have about your neck.
One, a crime against the defender by Mack Jones is a crime against all defenders.
Especially if you're doing the Rizzler.
The Rizzler.
And looking back at us after you drop us in the open field.
But a really good game for Mac Jones, statistically at least.
Aaron Rogers and Devante Adams were in a fucking time.
machine. It was like they were cryogenically frozen like Hans Solo. They were out there
balling like it was like 2016, bro. It was incredible. The fourth quarter, he had what,
150 yards in the last, I want to say four. Javan's. Look, nice, nice Alleyoop. It's crazy.
Nice allupe. I have two mentions. Best Flight. Yeah. Aaron Rogers. Nice Allie Adams.
Keying on the flight talking about how the new GM coming in has no,
choice but to keep them on the roster and they put some good stuff on tape that you have to be
happy about and then in the same breath worse flight garrant wilson watching er rhodger's and
devante adam keep keying knowing that as long as they're in new york he's always going to be a number
two receiver well guess what rogers ain't going to be in new york next year free garret wilson uh because that's
one of my favorite players and he's just stuck there feeling like what the fuck dude you saw him on the
sideline he was like he's like one-on-one throw the ball and and uh hey i think adams is
incredible that's one of the reasons why when you went on your rant and you were like rogers you
p-os and davante adams and we were like no no it's one of my favorite moments of the year
but like i just those guys were all out there rogers and
Now, I was going to say this.
Everybody was playing for the love of the game, but Rogers is also playing for audition.
He's trying to show you because he was skipping around hopping and shit and showing you,
I can jump with this.
Oh, I can jump.
I can run.
I can still throw the ball.
I still got an RPG on my shoulder.
But I just, as a guy who played in a lot of games that meant nothing, I have an affinity.
It's like a kink for when nobody has anything to play for.
And I want to see who loves football.
Yep.
And all those guys out there yesterday, whether it was the Jags or Jets players, a lot of you coaches
aren't going to be on those sidelines next year.
A lot of the players aren't going to be there.
That's the ultimate.
You're not just playing for the name on your helmet, the name on the back of your jersey,
but you're also playing for a job next year and for the incoming, you know, head coach.
You know, he's going to be looking at this film.
So there's always something to play for in the NFL.
and this was a good old-fashioned NFL game
whereas a total flyover
people weren't watching
as a gambler special, okay?
But it was an incredible football game
and I just hats off to all the guys in the field
that were playing their asses off
down in sunny Florida,
which is really fun to go play in sunny Florida late in the season
even when nothing is online.
My favorite part.
Yeah.
Chris, my favorite part of this game.
Led better doing a backflip.
Yes, exactly.
I played with him in Tampa.
man we were just fucking mind meld right now that's uh i did that to annoy you unbelievable athlete
oh yeah he stole my thunder it's all good led better did a backflip uh he landed it too
no he didn't pretty sweet that was not a back athlete that was not it was incredible in pads let me be
the guy i feel like mr chat here i feel like a lot of people in the chat but that wasn't a like
you got to land flat on your feet right to be a back flip bow you know that whatever dude he he got a
full rotation. He did get a full rotation. I can't get a full rotation. Guys, 300 pounds.
Got a full rotation in pads. You know how tiring it is when you you sack and then you celebrate?
I'm totally. I'm fucking around. You probably know better than me. I'm fucking around. That was
incredible. It just he did not land it. I would say this though to people like me that would poke holes in
something like a 300 pounder or like hey, a lot of people haven't heard of this guy led better.
That just goes to show you everybody in the NFL is like a mutant.
every human being in the NFL is like a mutant.
And so like it's really hard playing in the NFL
because big guys like that can do shit like that.
It was incredible.
Crazy.
Quick breaking news.
Also, if you're led better and you're doing a celebration like that boat,
didn't you think about this when he was about to do it?
Like when I went back and watched,
they had told me what was going to happen and I'm waiting for the backflip.
And I'm like, bro, like, you got to look behind you.
Like you talk about guys getting hurt doing like doing their ACLs doing the runways clear.
Totally. You need air traffic control for that big fella.
Josh, I was skipping to the end zone kind of scaring me the way he came down.
Did he come down funny?
It's not that he came down funny, but like Detroit turf is.
Yeah, that's how those crazy accidents be happening, though.
Like, it's doing that weird.
Real fast, a player that could be on that Detroit turf, Clyde Edwards Allaire release from the Chiefs.
Oh, wow.
So.
Not going to fix anything, but yeah.
No, but I mean, seriously.
Yeah.
I mean, good for him.
He might end up on a good team.
You know, he just came from one.
So, uh, fuck, man.
Damn.
Dude, I just got, now I'm down again thinking about Detroit's injuries.
Like, well, let's, uh...
We were talking about Ledbetter doing a back one.
It was like a happy moment.
Let me bring you back up with, uh, Cowboys Panthers.
If that's a backup moment.
I don't know what to say about this game.
Other than it was clearly a damn cowboy spot, Matt Nacky.
Mm-hmm.
it was i was forced to watch this whole game and it was awful after betting the panthers for the
first time they've been favored in 34 games and they pissed down their leg uh cooper rush had some
dimes didn't he run didn't he run around too he like if that was the only time you'd ever saw him
you'd say that's a starting quarterback rico dattle for 150 is this yeah yeah dude rico dattle's
putting together little little run here undrafted running back hey speaking of guys who
Bucky Irving's about to have a thousand yards to hop back to Tampa.
He's got like 140 to go until a thousand.
He's going to get that.
Dude, the guy was drafted at 125th.
What were the people upstairs doing?
You got a rookie thousand yard rusher just like teams just passing him by,
passing him by.
On a team who was dead last and rushing last year too.
I know.
So good for him.
But yeah,
Dowdell putting together a good little run.
And, you know, like I got to go back and watch the film.
Was Bryce awful?
I know he made some mistakes early.
Yeah, he was really bad.
He was back Bryson.
Yeah, it was, he looked like he looked the first couple weeks of the season.
Hey, listen, he's put together a really good month.
You know, the hiccup was bound to happen.
I think Vegas had a good idea when.
They were like, all right.
The Panthers are good, everyone.
Yeah.
Here they are.
I was like, looking at that damn line like Jeff Bridges.
And it just, you know, we don't need to say much more about that game.
But Bengals, Bengals Titans, I'm just really impressed. And I know Joe Burrow isn't,
isn't happy to be in this situation, but Joe, not that you're hearing this,
I'm really impressed with the great football that you and the offense have effectively
wasted this year on a defense and a team that's just poorly managed, poorly designed.
The fact that this week, seriously, now this stress is,
of being an athlete.
I know some people are going to cry me a river,
go in your Batmobile and cry.
But, you know, B&E, then they're like,
hey, this gal was at his house.
His dirty laundry's aired out.
He's a private person.
I know that.
Like, the guy, you can tell, just wants to ball.
He wants to play football.
He wants to not be bothered.
He wasn't in the best headspace.
Comes out, turns the ball over twice early.
In a game that probably means nothing.
But then they score like,
30 points. And yeah, it meant something to me because I had him in a teaser with the commander,
so I've just given them some time. But I, it's not for nothing. I know he got in that thing
with Zach Taylor at the end of the game, which I have, that is my, that's my fly on the wall.
Go for it.
That's my fly on the wall. Zach Taylor, Joe Borough at the end of the game.
What was, what was Burroughs saying? I think he said, we're fucking six and eight. It doesn't matter.
I think that's really what he said. Somebody lip read it.
But you know how they have those lips. Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
It's great, though.
I would have loved to have just been kind of like on the sideline, you know, end of the game.
You just hear that kind of look over without moving your head, you know?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And not so fast, my friend.
Joe, Burrow, you can't give up yet.
You can't be fed up yet.
You guys aren't mathematically out of it.
So suck it up.
It's suck it up.
Wow, facts.
You're saying they're not cucked.
No, he said we're six and eight.
It's embarrassing.
And like, dude, it is embarrassing.
You could tell you.
Hell, he's just, he takes no joy in, like, even throttling a team like that because he's like,
bro, like, we should be. And that's why I think there's a light at the end of the tunnel big time for
this organization. As long as you have that guy. Yeah. You know, and things are going to change
if you don't have Higgins next year a little bit. But I am of the belief that he is a special guy.
I mean, like most people agree. I have seen some takes that are on the contrary, but they're just
takes. You know, this guy has been playing otherworldly this year. And if,
I mean, so is Jamar Chase.
Jamar Chase.
Charis' numbers are incredible this year.
Unbelievable.
You've been great.
But I really do.
I want to give a best bus ride to Vondre Sweat for taking the ball off of Joe Burrow
and going on a little, little jaunt.
The big fella.
The big rumble.
You know what I heard when he took the ball on TV copy?
Seriously, I heard.
I heard.
You know when the fucking big eight.
18 wheeler does whatever they're doing with that noise.
That's what he was doing.
Is that the brakes?
Yes, the break.
Yeah.
I don't have my CDL.
That's an 18 wheeler driver.
No, yeah.
I love that.
I would be doing that left and right if I had a truck.
I'd just be pulling up next to be.
But that's what Tavondre sweat did, bro, when he finished that run.
Because he was cooking in the open field, man.
And if I didn't have the bangles, I would have been screaming at that, that dude to get in the end zone.
that was an incredible moment in that game
but bangles man
keep fighting you know
didn't you tell me they're cook
now you're saying they have a chance
no I looked at it
and I could not believe
like now you know you look at the standings
you see the little
I think this is called trolling
no you see all like the little
X Y clinched playoff birth
and then you see all the ease
yeah that mean eliminated
yeah and I was very surprised
that the Bengals
they still don't have an E-Mick.
They need the Chargers or Broncos lose out.
Yeah, and what are the chances of those things happening?
Take a look.
Broncos less than 1%.
Broncos have a tough schedule.
What's the Broncos?
And the Chargers have a tough schedule too, Bo.
What's the Broncos schedule?
They play Thursday night against the Chargers.
So one of these teams is going to be knocked out.
Okay, so if you're a Bengals fan, you know who you're rooting for
and against coming up here Thursday.
But, okay, the Broncos have the,
chargers and then the bangles and then Kansas City.
Stop. No, no, no.
We don't need to do that.
Exactly.
So Joe Burrow, he can't.
Get him off the grill!
They're alive.
Get him off the grill.
Joe Burrow.
I can hear him.
They're meowing.
Look, he wants to be hooked.
Joe's upset because you know why?
He already, he already booked his trip to Mekanos.
Is that why he was upset?
He was upset with Zach?
He's like, damn it.
He's like, we still have a chance to play the playoffs.
That's another Jim Carrey is
Fucking, yeah
I fucking
I fucking uh
I already booked the trip
Why are we winning
Dude
Stranger things have happened
If the Broncos lose this Thursday
It's on
Yeah it is
What if the Chargers
Lose this Thursday
Then it's not as on
It was the Chargers
What's the Chargers?
What's the Chargers?
The Chargers got the rest of the way
Chargers
Enhance
Dang it sucks
It was a good ride
Read, read, read,
read probably likes me the best.
So you have to get the page now?
Like,
like,
read,
read like probably likes to be the best in the office,
I would say,
and I feel like this is going to change now.
Oh,
for sure.
Like,
we've been riding with the Broncos.
I was going to give you all these tips
about how to take care of your waiters,
but I'm not doing that anymore.
Okay.
I don't think they're losing out.
The, the,
Denver, New England,
and then Vegas.
Yeah.
Like,
if the charges lose out,
That'd be hideous.
Vegas can be trying to lose that game so they can get the door.
Vegas should be trying to lose that game tonight, which we'll talk about in a second.
But you know AP won't, he won't want to, he'll be like, hey, guys, you want to, you want to knock him out of the playoffs.
I know he's going to be that way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But he also maybe once Shador Sanders.
Hey, last flyover game.
Hold on.
This is me being like, oh.
Oh, there's a football game going on in Arizona with the Cardinals and the fucking Patriots, but I don't.
seem to care because it happened in the 425s. I cannot believe the NFL snuck them in the 425s
with all those other games. And I got to tell you, I bet the damn Cardinals alt line and just
set it and forget it. I don't know what happened in the game. No idea as a time of tape Monday.
I'll check that out. James Connor went off. James Connor went off. That's good. Cardinals still alive.
They need the Seahawks to lose and the Rams to lose a game.
said it and forget it
Cardinal's still alive
Hold on
All right
I got a couple
I got a couple awards to give out real quick
Give it to us
Number one
Worst seat
The guy in New Orleans
With the jacket
The yellow jacket
Security jacket
Like you said earlier too
You were wrong
He was looking
What was he looking at?
I think he was looking at
He wasn't
What are you talking about?
You watched it.
What are you talking about?
What do you mean?
He turns his head.
Let's see it.
No, he wasn't looking.
Okay.
So anyways, my worst seat is this security guy in New Orleans who's clearly a Saints fan.
Like, you know, these aren't flown in security people.
This guy is like, who day, who day or who dat.
And he's sitting there with the game on the line inches, it feels like, from that pylon where it's
going to be won and lost. And he can't look at all. And he's got to read the fans to figure out
what happens at the other game. It's got to be the toughest job in the stadium. Honestly, at the
end of a game like that, because I would look. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's going to get fired if he looks,
so he knows it's in a TV shot. What do you think happens if you look? He's got to have a
pause, like a great plausible deniability excuse for like, oh, I thought I saw like some security
threat on that side of the field. I've seen an orb. Yeah, I seen a orb. Yeah, I've seen a
I saw an orb.
I saw an ocular bat down.
Inside a dome.
I saw someone else not doing their job.
You have to save your one look for like a big spot.
A couple years from now,
Saints are playing for an NSD South title.
Maybe.
Look.
The line.
Give it a look.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's kind of fucked up.
You got to save it.
So anyways,
any job where you have to wrestle naked people to the ground
as they run across the field on national TV,
like,
that person deserves one look you know what i mean not at that but at the jumbo tron and i know from
being in that super dome there's just not a lot of screens yeah that place one of just with all due
respect one of the worst stadiums in the nfl um and then the best seat judge judy
shout out judge
she's a big
harbaw and chargers fan
and then harbaugh is a big
judge judy fan
so had her to the game
got her tickets
so on brand
look at her dude
she was probably so over that performance
too judge judy
so over it
I'm all out of mentions
anybody else have anything
I forgot to mention
we talked about Monday
I forgot to mention from earlier
my fly in the wall
I would love to
here with Zaire Franklin and like EJ Speed
and some of those other guys on the defense
in Indy
how they really feel about their offense
and like what went down with Taylor
because it's like it's one thing to console your teammate
but like when you get home or when you get
like what your close guys on the team
you're like what the fuck?
He answered it a whole lot better than Corley a couple weeks ago
yeah if at least Jonathan Taylor was like
yep hand up well it helps when you're one of the best players
in the league and you're just like man you know
what are you going to say?
Yeah.
I mean, and I think ultimately, if I had to guess what people are saying behind closed doors,
I bet you they're talking more about the quarterback.
I mean, that's what I'm saying, the offense as a whole.
Yeah.
Also, too, to see that play call.
Like, you as a defender to see you guys throwing a double pass after we just drop the touchdown,
like, you're probably like, what the fuck, bro?
Like, and just like how big that game was for them and their season.
it's honestly a fitting way for a season end where it just felt like I don't know what the plan is
and honestly and that's two back-to-back seasons for them that ends kind of like the garndle minchu
thing last year at least the minchew thing at the end of last game oh hey we played pretty well
this year we got a bright future ahead of us that guy from september who looked really big
and visible like he's going to play and he's going to be good and he wasn't good this year he was
good against the Jets. He had some moments against the Texans early in the season that like honestly
that's seven 70 yard piss missile that he threw bought him a lot of time. And I still think they're
committed to him through. I mean, he's definitely going to have an opportunity next year to show how
much he could grow this off season. And I don't want to be the guy that gives up on, you know,
the quarterback for no reason. But there is a lot of tape out there this year where you're just like,
gosh, if he could just figure it out.
He was trying to do the little Yadi concert walkout dance.
Oh, I know that one.
He was worried about that and dropped the football.
It's not my favorite.
Jonathan Taylor was doing the dance?
He was, he did a dance that he did after that.
Like, I guess he was focused on that.
All I saw was him dropping the football.
Oh, he danced after that.
He like went through the end zone.
And I feel like when you're, I feel like you're probably thinking of your head.
A little yachty dance of all people.
A little yoddy dance, bro.
Who's little yoddy?
little boat
little boat
you know
you know this too
little yadi
what does he sing
what's it
he does the
um
do you sing one of his songs
not the whole thing
not the whole thing
uh
somebody has
what's the one he went
I geeked up in Frankfurt
it's a TikTok sound
that's been stuck in my head all day
what's the one he went
famous for
with
uh
I took the
walk to Poland
I took the walk
Still I'm not
I'm not
It's not ringing a bell
Yeah broccoli is what I'm trying to think of
Yeah yeah yeah yeah you recognize broccoli
I would
Yeah yeah yeah we'll play it for you
We can't play it
Yeah yeah flagged yeah can't play
Yeah can't play fucking NFL film either
Just a reminder
Because we'll get more than flag
We'll get more than flag
We'll get bond
Nate drones
That's what the orbs are
Yeah
That's what that
The orbs are the NFL looking for
Yeah, that's why it was at your house
The other night.
It's that guy, Steve, or whatever his name is from the NFL,
they wrote us an email and said,
I can't put the Super Bowl trophies in the background.
He's got all these drones in the area.
They're just, they're scanning for content creators,
preferably the ones that played a long time
and gave years of their life to the NFL.
Fuck, dude.
Facts.
You get a viral moment for this week?
I got to describe the plays.
Do have a viral moment.
Man, if you could have seen some of the plays yesterday.
Bro, my viral moment, bro, this weekend.
Oh, what?
I went to the PG County Mall.
First off, probably the most ethnic mall I ever been to.
I loved it.
It was amazing.
I was able to get oxtails, beef patties.
They had a range of stuff that you don't see at regular malls,
including a black Santa.
A black Santa.
No, I love black Santa.
Dreads to the nines.
He had this long,
he had an absolute long, long, long,
long-ass line.
And I just was shocked
and it looked amazing.
And I was like,
you know what?
I'm going to send us to read.
I'm going to find some way
to put this into my mention.
So Black Santa,
you're my fact viral pick of the week.
All for it, dude.
All for it.
That's amazing.
Black Santa.
Black Santa's so great.
I mean,
I mean,
either way, not real.
Yeah.
You know?
Do your kids believe?
What do you mean?
Yeah, my kids believe.
They don't.
Yeah.
Wait, what?
If, if, listen, if we rolled up on a black Santa, I would just be like, yep, there
is.
That's, that's what it is.
Surprise.
But I know there's some dads out there that would be like, I got to explain to my kid.
What the fuck is this, man?
Yeah.
Dana's not supposed to be black.
He's supposed to be white.
That's what the real Santa was.
Good Christian Santa.
That's what the real Santa was white.
No, he wasn't.
There isn't one.
You can make it up.
Anyways.
Bo, you want to make up a drip king?
I got a drip king for you, Cowboy Reed.
Anthony Walker Jr.
Linebacker for the Dolphins.
They got all of his teammates.
They're high school jerseys.
It's pretty cool.
Oh, let me see
That's swaggy
Got them their high school jerseys
So he just
He just hit up all their high schools
And how to make them
Um
If I did guess
That's nice too
That's fire
I think that's cool
It'd be fun
You know
Christmas time is fun
In the NFL locker
You go back to your locker
You get random gifts
I got scooters from Mike Evans
One time
That's dope
They got a scooter
From Fletcher Cox
I think it'd be fun to go back.
Fun fact, this still don't have a Chris Long jersey
despite asking him numerous times.
You've asked me for a jersey?
I don't know if any of you guys know a guy.
Maybe I can get a number 56.
Have you asked me for a jersey?
Why don't you get the one where I was good?
I'll give you a 91.
Yeah, I'll give you 91.
Didn't you wear like a 72 for a little bit?
Yeah, 72.
St. Louis.
There was a solid year there where I was getting buckets in 72.
Bo, it's best if you want that jersey.
It's best if you text Chris for his address.
Yeah, text me for my address.
Or maybe we can just put your address up in the chat.
That's crazy.
You know, Bo.

Minnesota and Las Vegas.
I know this double header snuck up on me and guys, I'm trying to figure out how to bet this
game.
I'm going to tell you where I lean right now and you guys can tell me when I'm right or wrong.
Okay.
I think Atlanta rolls.
Yeah.
Dig it.
Okay.
I think that.
What do you think?
I'm fighting for the story tonight.
Yeah.
So I'm hoping that...
You want Desmond Ritter?
No, I want Kirk Cousins to come out and throw pick six early so we can maybe see Michael Pennings tonight.
Oh, I'd love to see Michael Pennix.
I want Desmond Ritter to come out and play a little hotball and be like...
But you got to remember...
You got to remember the Raiders are now down Max Crosby.
Yeah.
That's a big adjustment.
The guy's on the field for like every play.
And so I hate to oversimplify it, but I just, I have a feeling.
Now, maybe they come out and fight their ass off.
But it feels like the law of averages with Atlanta playing so shitty the past two weeks that they're going to play well.
No?
I think we have a better chance of seeing Black Santa than Pennix.
I'd love to see Black Santa, dude.
I'd love to see.
Talk about where's this game back?
In Vegas.
Oh.
We do get to see Brock Bowers play football tonight.
That's true.
And he could,
he needs six catches against Atlanta.
He's going to surpass Michael Thomas for fourth most receptions by rookie NFL
history.
Now,
I kind of want to bet the bears off that slop fest.
That's a lot of points.
Look at what most.
What's the line?
Seven and a half.
And just so you guys know,
the Raiders line moved to six this morning.
That's what I'm saying.
It's moving in the right direction.
I'm kind of feeling like it's,
it's Falcon.
It's a key number.
It could be a teaser night.
You know, I kind of swore
the primetime teasers off,
but if you're going to give me a double header,
you know,
don't tell me with a good time.
I'm itching.
Itching.
Start talking about teasers.
Oh, my God.
Fax, you got a first touchdown score for tonight?
I do have a first touchdown score.
We are going to go with,
in the Bears game,
we're going to go with Rome Adunzei,
first touchdown.
I believe it,
I got it.
I believe it's at plus 1,700.
And then, like I was just saying,
I am betting for the chaos with Las Vegas,
defense or special teams first touchdown plus 3,000.
If you want to be,
if you want a better bet different odds,
still good odds,
Brock Bowers, plus 1,000 first touchdown
in that Las Vegas and Atlanta game.
I really, I've arrived.
at the conclusion why you were doing that it's Atlanta it's Atlanta and it's probably the over
in in in Vegas as well um maybe like uh let's see 28 17 gotta do it 28 17 to 28 17 to block two
block two brock bowers touchdown sure both of them no we need a defensive touchdown so anyways
guys uh great work today fellas fellas
Yeah, just seeing the showers.
Whoa.
What?
Can't wait.
See you guys in the showers.
Great work.
Fucking white guys.
Speaking of someone, someone's going to have to help me take these waiters off.
The boots are really hard.
Well, don't ask a Broncos fan.
I'm not going to do that.
Because imagine if I asked you to take my pants off.
The look you would give me.
It's not the pants.
It's just the boots.
It's just the boots.
All right, guys.
We'll be coming to you.
to you live Friday.
That's another coming to you live
Friday from Studio J.
We're going to be, what time?
I always forget.
10.30.
1030.

in between here and then, but probably
not. We'll see. Y'all take care.
