Their coordinators and their coaching in in Detroit is like as a former player,
you kind of watch that.
I don't know if you felt this way.
Yeah.
But it's like, man, I would like, that'd be a fun locker room to be a part of.
No question.
I'm sure that they play hard, they practice hard, they seem close.
They're winning.
You know what I mean?
And it's like it just feels like they are putting their players in positions to win.
And like that's really all you want as a player.
Well, you want confidence.
And I think like right down to the quarterback, you think about Jared Goff, who.
I fucking love Jared golf, dude.
The fact that he's doing what he's doing right now
is everything that football is about.
It's about getting up off your ass
when somebody counted you out.
And, you know, when McVeigh said he's not good enough for me,
he goes to Detroit and makes, you know,
I can remember when he played the Rams the first damn time.
Okay?
And people were like, oh, they might have something with this bridge.
Well, no, he proved that he's a franchise quarterback twice.
You know, most people get to the Super Bowl.
You don't have to prove it again.
He's a franchise quarterback.
Welcome to the Greenlight podcast.
NFL Week 7 Reactions, Chris Bo, Doctor Fax,
ripping their analysis for you.
You guys can talk about it around the water cooler.
You can use it in fantasy.
You can use it from your bets.
This is info for you.
Because we appreciate you.
Thanks for being around.
We hit the big games.
We've got Russ looking great.
He's dropping moonshots like he's in Seattle.
Aaron Rogers looking at him across the field like,
damn, man, I want to do that.
The Chiefs knocked off the 49ers.
the Super Bowl rematch. The Eagles got right with a big win against the Giants. Lions had an
NFC North battle against Minnesota and they came out on top. Jared Goff is a stud.
See, in the MVP conversation, we talked about that. We ripped the other NFC North game.
The Packers, Texans, the Packers came out on top on that one. A great week in the NFL.
We ripped through all the games. We've got our moments. A nice long show for you today.
Please enjoy and we'll check you later this week.
That's Aerosmith.
Singing about a dude that looks like a lady. We got a dude on our show.
that I did not look that I did not know look like a lady honestly I had no idea that Bo Allen
looked like a lady that's a good looking lady that's a thickums thick with two seas what'd you say under
that can you give the background for people that are in the in the chat here why why you're in the
crosshairs from Chris because first of all from Chris loves coming at you boy but also I was mistaken
for the lovely Kylie Kelsey, the Taylor Swift concert.
I'm rocking my merch for today.
T. Swift kind of popped off, but no, someone said that.
She thought I was Kylie dancing with Jason.
And she's like, I just love those field hockey arms, those ripped arms.
Look at those strong field hockey arms.
Yeah, down to earth.
Look at those ripped field hockey arms.
She is the glue, the neck, the foundation.
They said she's the neck.
the neck
the neck
that shit was so funny to me
I mean that is solid gold
and what's even better is that you commented
under words or underneath
what did you say you say it
I said uh Kylie wishes
that she had this ass
you're such a ridiculous
person
you're also getting to go a lot of cool places
that Jason friendship really after all these years
is paying off for the likes of you
and me maybe soon where we get to go.
Yeah, I know, but not for me so far.
Like you guys have been to this fear.
You've been to a Taylor Swift concert.
The question I was asked, which I didn't even ask you,
was like, did you meet Taylor Swift?
No, I did not.
I was, they kept me at arm's length,
probably for the right reason.
That's just smart.
They don't want me.
Yeah, they don't want me at all anywhere near her.
It's good thinking.
their security team like try to vet me and they're like no don't bro hey listen that that's classic it's
it's also classic that you keep popping up in all the the most primo places because your boy kelse is
taking taking you with him you know i love it yeah yeah good friends kind of like hook their friends up
with stuff you know whenever they're doing something i got it chris maybe maybe you should uh try doing that
sometimes didn't i invite you to montana and take you fly fishing and sit in the back of the skiff so you
could catch all the fish and take pictures.
Yes, you sure did, buddy.
That was a great time for us.
Took you to the bar, you know?
What else have I talked to you?
I was looking at that karaoke video recently.
That was fun time.
Yeah.
What are you doing for work these days?
Working hard, man.
Crunching tape.
Who hired you?
Going a concert?
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, I'm employee.
Wish my friend Chris would take me to a Taylor Swift concert.
That's good. Put it another pillow in your upper lip big dog. Welcome. It's Monday morning.
It's Monday morning and the chat's already talking about Nate's chain.
Nate's chain's awesome. That is our YouTube 100,000 subscriber chain, which evidently we actually
hit that milestone a while ago. And somebody had misplaced the plaque. And then, you know,
I was like, oh, that's kind of cool. You know, first when you guys told me, I was like, no big deal.
like I'm not going to be a loser and be like look how many YouTube subscribers I have like
everyone has YouTube subscribers everyone on the planet everyone doesn't have a hundred K
okay well guess who does like a month into being famous Haley Welch so like you guys gave me
this whole rigumerala yeah talk to her that's her government yeah I mean she went viral she
went viral she took advantage of it I know but there's nothing like you guys talking me into
this being a big deal and then I logged on like three hours later
and the girl who got famous for talking about spitting on that day.
Phelating is where we are.
After like five years of hard work, you know, that's the reality of the world we live in.
And I'm not throwing shade at her again.
I said she's an electric personality.
She has really earned her viral moment.
It's a marathon, not a sprint.
It's a marathon, not a sprint, Haley.
Right?
She knows that.
I'm talking to you.
Oh, no, no, no.
Hey, let's get Haley on the pod.
I got a lot of questions.
I don't think I would.
No, I don't know.
You got,
you could have Haley on the pod, but we just only have so many football slots in season.
Like what are we going to have around to pick?
Do a lot of breakdown.
How do you hawk to a run me through the specifics of this technique?
Like with,
with an anatomy picture and like you're John Madden on the dick and balls?
I mean, I'm willing to stand in if needed.
Oh, my God.
Oh, come on.
Here we go.
With that, we're going to talk about a,
another helmet.
Uh-oh.
Yes, dude.
Oh.
Check this out, dude.
Western Kentucky.
That quick.
The hilltoppers, thank y'all so much for making my dreams come true.
What I'd like to do is have a whole wall full of helmets.
This is going to be helmet number one on the wall.
And on the wide shot, I can collect them.
I'm looking at you, Youngstown State.
You had that beautiful lid with the penguin.
I quote tweet you and everything thinking like maybe they'd be like,
oh, reach out.
Do you want a helmet?
I'm not that important, but I'm calling you out again.
I want that damn helmet with the penguin on it.
Please, please, pretty please.
I will donate to your school if you send me a helmet.
Okay.
Oh, wow. We're about to have a room full of helmet.
No, but I didn't say how much.
Illinois was rocking.
No, I don't like those that much.
Those are fire.
Are you saying that umbrella to any school or just the school you're talking?
Schools I like.
Like, I'm going to make a donation to Western Kentucky right now.
not right now during the show but after the show because this is the coolest helmet
I think I've ever seen and it's going to join me right here on this set in perpetuity
or until we get a second helmet that I can get a fuck me the eyes are oh yeah that I can get a
an actual helmet wall set up so anyways love that thank you to the equipment people I guess
there's an equipment guy there Stanford C'd said he's a birds fan go birds we're not going to
talk about the birds just yet in this show okay um what else do we have to
I got to shout somebody out for this shirt.
Check this shirt out.
Look at this.
Oh, hot.
That's really hot.
The fellas.
They were hard at work yesterday.
We're going to talk about that in a bit.
Who are we shouting out for sending us that t-shirt, cowboy?
We are shouting out once my computer works.
We've got a shout out at Carrie Nolan KBO underscore 4.
They, uh, green light, MRP, most random player.
And we've got to decide.
Who sent me the shirt?
Oh, the shirt?
That's what I'm asking.
There was no.
That's what I was asking.
It arrived in the mail today with no attribution.
Okay, I got to find the guy on Twitter that sent me this shirt.
You know who you are.
I'm not real good at this.
I thought we had it.
We don't have it.
It's okay.
Thank you, whoever sent me this shirt.
I will shout you out on the next show.
I got too many DMs.
Just people DMing me all types of spammy shit.
You know what I mean?
Okay.
So what's the other thing we got to do in the housekeeping section here?
We got to put a ball on this MRP.
Our newest segment, Green Lights, MRP, most random player.
This is a segment that's often duplicated, never actually duplicated, often imitated, never
it's often imitated, never duplicated even if you just take the formula and do it for yourself.
But this is our segment that we started a few weeks ago where we're going to try to get you guys free gear,
you guys and gals free green light gear.
So we'll pick a, we'll pick a game.
of the week every week and we'll talk about some old random players and kerry nolan gets a hoodie for coming
up with the name of this segment green light mrp most random player that's who sent in the uh the idea
there and we had last week it was 49ers chiefs most random players uh do you want me to read through some
these yeah run through some of them have we picked yet we haven't picked okay let's we got some
we got some of regret who's the best random player that was it was input that's what we're trying to figure
out right now the winner gets some free green light gear we had dexter mccluster dexter mccluster
Tameric Van Over.
Tamarik Vanover.
Sam Kanado.
Did somebody put Paris Harrelson?
That's a really good name.
I don't know that he spelled that correctly, Jack Ginsburg.
Sam Congato is a really good one.
I play with Sam Congato and St. Louis.
It's going to be hard to beat Sam Congatto.
Sam Congatto turned out to be a fucking doctor in scrubs.
Like legit, like medical school genius, genius type guy.
Scott Fujita.
I think of him as a saint more than anything.
What position didn't that guy play?
He was a running back, Sam Con Gatto.
I think he went to Baylor.
Nice.
And he was a genius.
Went to Liberty.
Liberty. Okay, never mind.
I play with a running back from Baylor as well.
Hopefully I don't have Sam Khan confused with a different guy.
I'm crediting him with a doctorate.
Genius.
Eddie Kennison, that's a good one.
JJ Stokes.
That's going to be hard to beat.
Frank Zombo.
Frank Zombo
You win
Dog A doo Dad, PhD
Frank Zombo
Kansas City Chiefs
Who could forget this guy?
Not me
His name was Zombo
He walked
So Leo Chenal could run
You know what I'm saying?
He was one of their first
White linebackers
I got a lot of burn
So I'll give it to Frank Zombo
I'll give it to
Dog a doodad
PhD at Bud Fan account.
Bud fan account.
If you were in the chat right now,
we just followed you,
hit it with the DM and we'll get you some merch.
Damn, dude, you almost,
hey, they almost had it with Sam Congato.
But I'm looking to learn that Sam Congato was a doctor
before I give,
try again next time the Chiefs or, you know,
spam us with Sam Congato next time the Chiefs
play the game of the week.
And we'll try to mix these up
so there's not too many names recirculating.
That's like,
that's like missing the last.
leg of a parlay.
It's just for a hoodie.
Hearing your, hearing your choice.
Can we talk about this real quick before the show starts?
For sure.
So Kingston, how many legs in this parlay?
10.
I got a 13 leg parlay on bed MGM.
Hit the first 11 legs.
It's a $25.
$25 free bet.
Pay $100,000.
Okay.
Nobody freak out.
Everybody.
My theory's on the line tonight for him.
Okay.
But more important than your theory is him taking home
this money. Oh, no, that's what we want. No, I know. I got to tell you, I'm going to bet the
bucks. Yo, that's, that is, that is diabolity. Hey, that's hate. Holy mo. You want me to take
a Monday off and like go against my, somebody's got to win. God damn. But, yo, that's hate.
That's hate weeks. I feel a little bit. Have you got better? You feel better. Not sides, though.
Two and no and sides. You should be careful. Oh, yeah, the commercial. Time out. You're right. You're
Time out.
Stand up against hate.
No, no, time out.
Time out against hate.
Hey, you know all this hate and racism in the world?
We're going to call a 20-second timeout.
Coach, is it a 20 or is it a full timeout?
No, we just need 20.
We just need 20.
There's something fundamentally wrong with that campaign.
We're just calling time out on hate.
But I'm not going to call a time out on hating on you.
I'm going to take the way.
It's okay.
Hate, hate, hate, hate.
You at home want to make money, Greenlight, podcast.
That substack.com, subscribe.
I really do.
I really,
I really do think he's going to win this bet because of the tear he's on.
And I'm really not going to bet the bucks,
but I will probably tease them because I think it's a really good matchup for the bucks.
Yeah.
But, you know,
maybe we can all win.
And I feel nauseous already.
Dude,
I really hope you win this 100K.
I mean,
hopefully,
maybe we can get different lines.
Damn,
why do you docs how much?
He told us.
Oh, did he?
Yeah.
I thought he just said the number.
No,
maybe headphones blocked your ears.
And he was on at BenMGM,
which gave me a free bet,
let me do it. Let's hear from them real quick.
Oh, yeah, let's do it. As you know, we've teamed up with BetMGM. We'll be using

matt i want you to make as much money as you can tonight but i'm a little bit worried about the
fact that we might be down a guy if you win 100k tonight oh he's definitely taking two weeks off
and he's going to be doing sabbatical he's going to the season how much blow how much blow can you
buy with 100k oh my god um i'm getting i don't know the i don't know the i don't know the price of a brick rate
now but he might be able to get a couple
he might be able to get a couple breaks with that
that is insane
I don't think I've personally
I don't think I know somebody personally that's been
so close to weighing a lot of money on like a small
parlay like I don't think I've ever known
somebody who's been this
close so even not blowing smoke
there's no chance I would have come
this close without learning from guys
like you, Bo and Nate
about the NFL and just sitting here and absorbing
information every week well listen
you're on a tear you should be commended
however this game ends.
You know,
I don't like moral victories.
Yeah.
But 11 out of 13 is really good.
But 13 out of 13,
I mean,
what are we going to do?
How about tonight
we put a camera on you
the whole game?
I knew you were going to say that.
And it would be funny.
I'll do it.
I'll do it.
If it comes down to the last game,
you should really just put a camera on you.
I don't know if I'll be able to watch,
honestly.
You've got to watch.
I was supposed to be in a chess tournament tonight.
Do I cancel?
Yeah, you cancel the chess tournament, dude.
No.
You watching matters.
Hey, Chad, does he watch or no?
No, I think you should go to your chess tournament and just turn your phone off and then look back down and then check if you have $100K in your account.
No, because he's going to be making some questionable moves if they start if like the Cardinals start moving the ball.
But that's better than like you don't need to do that.
That's just overkill.
Just let it go.
Man, I'm praying for you, bro.
People in chat, I think are praying for you.
I take back my comment about the bucks, just trying to have fun.
Now it's going to get clit.
Now it's going to get clit.
If they lose tomorrow, everyone's going to be like, look, look what Chris did.
Hey, I get blamed for everything in my house too.
So it's not a big deal.
Heavy is the head that where's the crowd.
You know what I mean?
If you need somebody to blame tonight when the bucks dent the Ravens possibly.
Stop with this coaching shit, bro.
What do you mean?
Get this coaching job.
What do you mean?
I don't want a coaching job.
What do you mean?
I can't say heavy is the head that where's the crown?
You're talking about Matt leaving us.
You're trying to leave us.
No, I'm not.
If I wanted to leave, I'd leave.
You've been flirting with...
I thought about that.
You're trying to get something going with Bill Belichette.
No, I'm not.
And then the reason why Nolan's laughing,
because Nolan knows he's going with you.
Nolan's like, yeah, I'm out.
I hadn't even thought about that.
Are you here because you think I'm going to get a job with Bill?
I'm staying put.
Who thinks I'm actually going to get a job in the NFL
or would ever want to coach?
Are you kidding me?
I enjoy one of the best coaches ever.
But she's on the spot.
This is right where I want to be.
You know what I'll say?
Hey, coach, I need a chick filet in the facility.
I need unlimited.
What do we, we set up that big USC wish list thing a couple years ago for me.
That's the list that I will run back for Bill.
Those are all the things I need if you need me to call.
Or even worse.
What?
Bill hits you with, you know what?
I want a co-host on Greenlight.
And then that means one of us got a guy.
You motherfuckers will all be on the casting.
I'm going to tell you who.
I'm just going to tell you.
And this is, hey, I'm taking a page out of like,
Rob Mayo and Antonio Pierce's book.
When Joe Flacco retires, he's going to have that chair right there,
and everybody's going to move over and we're going to be Flacco and the boys, man.
Because I had so much fun talking to that dude last week, he was incredible.
If he ever gets out, Joe, this is me making a public plea to you,
draft class of 08.
I will overpay you.
I will take money out of my coffers for you.
I will overpay you.
Really saying something.
Yeah, I guess so.
You know, this guy, I haven't done anything for him, you know.
So that's wild.
Anyways, we picked the MRP.
We've talked about your big parlay.
America's teams.
We need America's teams.
Okay, number one, America's team, the University of South Florida Bulls.
Can you pull that video up for the people at home?
Bo, Nate, I don't think you've seen this.
This is an America's team if I've ever seen one.
because the gentlemen on the same team
are assaulting each other on the sideline.
Oh, I did see this.
This is ladies and gentlemen,
this is where we are as a country.
Whether you like it or not,
this is where we are.
There is nothing more American
than beating the shit out of your own teammates right now.
Yeah, I've been there.
I mean, this is, you have not,
you've been here?
I've earned a game.
This is insane, dude.
Yeah, I mean, we fought each other,
but not usually on the sideline.
This is crazy.
And they got to go,
They got to get dressed and ready in the same locker room.
Probably got to get on the same bus.
Ooh, that's the kind of fight that just rolls over and holds over.
Oh, because no one's satisfied.
It's evident.
No one's satisfied with what happened right there.
So there's going to be another chance when all those coaches and other people aren't going to be around.
Bro.
That's an ugly scene.
Did you guys have shit like that at UVA?
We used to have a big Wisconsin W in the locker room.
And if you had beef with somebody, you'd be like,
I'll see you at the dub.
And then you go after practice,
you would like fucking have a little like pissing contest on the dub.
A little like, I don't know, you'd miss me.
No, we didn't fight on the dub or on the V.
We just fought.
Sometimes we fought when there's,
I know what he's laughing about.
One of the biggest fights we ever had, I started it.
It changed the season though.
It changed our season, huh?
Cardiac calves.
Cardiac calves.
We won a bunch of close games
is because I decided to fight a guy
next to the shower.
Nobody had any clothes on.
It turned into a prison break fight.
A prison break.
That's the best way.
And it was basically Chris and his roommates
versus another group of guys.
It was like some factions.
There were some guys that weren't running through the line out on the field.
But the worst thing about it,
the group of guys that were fighting were literally the core six best
players on the team. So it was just like, oh, I saw somebody, I saw somebody land a flying naked
double leg kick in the chest. I saw, he was my roommate, actually. I think I told this story.
I told the story about homecoming when me and my roommate, like we got in a fight. He was picking
on somebody and I might have cleated him somewhere. And his parents after the game were like,
where'd that cleat mark come from? We're sitting on the porch drinking. But that guy, we had each
other's back when it was us against the other people. And he flew in there and double leg kicked
somebody out of nowhere. Out of nowhere. In their chest, bro. In the chest. It was incredible.
Mind you, this is like a, I don't want to exaggerate, maybe six seven, six six six. What? Big guy,
six seven. Six seven, probably three hundred or? I got punched in the face a number of times in that
fight, but I also punched a bunch of people in the face. It was just a classic melee. Oh my God, a naked six seven white
guy double leg flying kick people were worried that the fight was going to spill over and that's the thing
when you fight people on your own team it's like when you fight somebody that you play you're like
i'll see you in a year motherfucker or i'll see you wherever if you guys it's on the site if you respect each
other if you respect each other no it doesn't roll over if you guys well we we squash it at the
bill more a couple nights later it was cranberry vodka night it was uh survivor hour survivor hour
And we all had a little like sit down, a meeting.
Dollar three.
Say, hey, we're good, bro.
I love you.
I fucking love you.
You fucking love me.
That's why I got a little, you know, I just want you to run through the line.
Yeah.
You know?
When we're doing sprints.
All right.
Next America's team.
Kansas City Chief's backup offensive line.
Did anybody see this?
Ken City Chief's backup offensive line shading the starting offensive line from the sun.
Gloom.
In San Francisco.
That was incredible.
It was kind of demeaning
But like when you're really bought in as a team
Right, Bo?
If they had told us
It's about the intangible for us
You know, you got to do what you got to do
To get that W.
Yeah, yeah
Also, the Munich Ravens
Shout out to our boy Joe Thomas,
your Wisconsin Padger.
He was over there for months at the time
coaching these big German men
And he got himself a little offensive line there
The Munich Ravens.
They got some airs.
time on the international game yesterday i'd like to call them an america's team as well i don't think i have
anything else i'm good anybody got any america's teams no before we get into this thing sunday night
football sunday night football what do they call the four o'clock game do they call it the america's game of
the week or something yeah but it's like america's game of the week yeah yeah they have america's game of the week
at four o'clock then they have football night in america i walked down yesterday to say hello to wayland my eight-year-old
son after the America's game of the week and I'm putting him to bed before the late game and he goes
dad the America's games of the week have been really really bad this year he goes that game was
cheeks today your kids your kids are spot on with sports already and they don't even know it he was like
he was like Dallas got killed by Baltimore a couple weeks ago was like Detroit blew somebody out he was
like, these games suck.
So we will talk about that game in a second,
but for football night in America,
for football night in America.
Wait all day for Sunday night.
I've been waiting all day for my grill.
Where's my grill?
Right to the left of you.
Oh, it's right to the left of me?
Oh, man.
Oh, can you grab me that grill,
Cowboys, so I don't have to get up
and take off all my broadcasting.
They better be in who I think is in that grill.
Who do you think is in this grill?
Oh, man.
You're like Brad Pitt.
It better be your boy.
What's in the grill?
Yeah.
What's in the grill?
It better be your boy.
Are you ready?
Okay, go to the wide shot.
Who's in the grill?
Who's in the grill?
It better be...
Oh, look at this.
It better be the ayahuasca head ass.
Brown little hot dog.
Yep.
Ayahuasca head ass.
Oh, that used to be a hot dog.
Now it's just the Jets.
The Jets are cooked.
Oh, my God.
They're so cooked.
That's not even...
The Jets are cooked.
That hot dog is not.
not even cooked enough.
It's not cooked enough.
I'm not touched the hot dog.
Ugh.
Eat it.
No, I'm not going to eat this hot dog.
Eat it.
Yeah, how'd you?
We're sure that's hot dog.
Someone donated in the chat, Chris.
Eat it.
No, I'm not going to eat it.
Is it edible?
I would not eat it right.
Somebody check with the Steelers this morning.
See how their stomach's feeling.
They just, they devoured the jets last night.
And the jets are cooked.
you can take this grill out of here we don't need to you know we don't need to here i'll just i'll just
put the hot dog on the table you know as we talk about the jets what do you think that glizzy yeah
put that glizzy that burr glizzy this glizzy got this is the glizzy from the set of the movie
backdraft i think is the jets are cooked my man bro they're cooked i don't care how soft the schedule gets
I don't care how much they come together.
They're just certain things mathematically
that make it really hard for a team to get back in there.
And I feel like as big of a deal as we made
whatever happened over the last week
and, you know, for good reason in some ways
because I do think of if the season started today,
they'd have more runway to get this thing right.
But they're cooked.
They're absolutely cooked.
You know, they asked Rogers,
how do we fix this?
The first thing he says is stop listening to you guys.
And then he goes, and I have to play better, to his credit.
And then he said, we got to run the ball better so we can actually throw it.
So it's-
New York media, yeah.
That New York media is going to get to him.
Eventually it is.
It's going to get to him.
I think what's going to get to him more than anything is just being two and five or three
and six or whatever it's going to be.
Like, this is a long road that they have to walk the rest of the season.
Absolutely, bro.
And I said it last week.
I think this is a dumpster fire.
And me personally, I don't think he has the locker room anymore.
I think if he did have the locker room, as soon as he called out Mike Williams,
I think a lot of players probably like they didn't appreciate.
Hold that glissie while you talk about the jet.
They don't like it.
And it's just something that I think that something like that has to turn around.
And then to see the kid happy that he's still there, but for them to put him up
for trade. He missed two practices, and then he's back out there. I wonder what was said,
because just to be out there, and yeah, he caught a pass, but I wouldn't want to-
Mike Williams?
Yeah. When Mike Williams caught that ball on fourth down, and they took him out right after,
he looked at the sideline like, man, fuck, you could tell he really wanted to get in and like-
And get going. And just like prove himself right after last week, which he messed that up.
But, you know, he wanted to be out there. And then they threw him a ball at the end of the game.
And it was at the left pylon.
I don't know if it was a palms up at Aaron Rogers or the ref.
But it was a definite palms up in the direction of both of those people.
And the ball was not back shoulder.
The ball was like, you know, so it was just.
But look, if Aaron Rogers doesn't call him out, those plays, they don't get polarized as they are now.
Yeah, no right.
No one cares.
Like, you don't call out your teammate like in the media.
And I didn't, and I last week didn't take a turn on that thing because I'm like, I beat him up enough after the, you know,
and I don't want to become this person
and just seems like anti-Rogers.
It's not that.
Just Rogers, the GM, is not very good.
No.
And, you know, like, Rogers, the guy who says,
I don't have enough power.
And then Devante.
I mean, Rogers, the quarterback is not very good right now.
Right now either.
No, no, no, he's not.
And, you know, the Beanie,
the pick last night to the Beanie Bishop pick in the beginning,
there's reason to believe that ball didn't get picked off
eight out of ten times.
Like, the way he got his,
head around on that thing was a great play. It was a great play. So, you know, there's that pick,
and then there's the one where Garrett Wilson drops the ball. But, you know, in totality, when you
look at the entire season, the list of people to blame is just dwindling down and down.
And eventually the quarterback has to take some blame. And, you know, defense has to take
blame, but you know what else happened to the defense? You fired the head coach who probably
as average as they've been in some areas was keeping them competitive. And Ulbrick now,
as the headset on. So who's getting the defense ready the way they were getting ready a month ago?
Now all of a sudden you took both their parents out of the household. And, you know, the group's
not that great anyways. The Jets are a year behind. That's the problem. Last year, that defense would
have been good enough in this situation to help them stabilize. But they let guys walk. They lost
guys and the pass rush is not the same. Will McDonald has eight sacks. I'm going to say the quiet part
out loud because I like Will McDonald a lot. Six of those are unblocked. So if you want to
to look at this and say, hey, well, we've got a couple good rushers. Things could turn around. Like,
I don't think so. You know, and the run game is a problem. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
What? What is it? That's hate. A little bit. I mean, it's sacks or sac? I hear you, though.
No, a sack is not a sack. Bro, there's so many people miss open. I understand. But, okay, now we're
going to get bogged down talking about you call me a hater. But let's do it for a minute or two.
No, no, no, no. No, no. So what I'm saying is if you was a white.
Yeah, and he'd really be hating, Nate.
You don't have, my point is you don't have a game-changing player up front.
That's the point.
I got you.
That's the point.
It's not, hey, Will McDonald's had a nice year, but he's not a one as a rusher, like a true one.
And Quinn and Williams is your one.
And I haven't seen a lot.
I got Reddit coming back, though.
They got Reddit coming back as of yesterday.
I know.
But I haven't heard of anything since the game.
It's going to take him a while to get going.
I mean, I want to know how you feel about this, Chris, but someone to ask you.
asked me recently like you think reddick will be you know viable like you know soon i was like i don't
think not when they're running the ball up their ass in four minute mode yeah yeah very true but also it's
like there's something to be said for missing camp and like coming back with fresh legs but you need to
like feel the speed of the game and you need to be out there like you can't just coming off the street
like that i don't care redick is a beast but you like you need to play football to be good at football it sounds
so simple, but like he's not going to be good for a little bit.
And that's why from the jump, I'm not buying into all this Aaron Rogers, even acting like
the GM bullshit.
Bro, you didn't even want to come to camp.
Like, you came here and you started off not even showing up to mandatory or non-mandatory
stuff and it made it a story.
And then you want to wonder why stuff isn't going right.
It's, it's, it's, it's not all him, but it's not all him.
And believe me, I'm not sitting here caping for Rogers.
because you've heard me talk about this thing.
I mean, like, after that trade happened
or after the solid firing happened
in some of the quotes, like, I kind of turned on them.
I mean, like, hey, hand up.
Like, it kind of bothered me.
But it's not just him.
The defense, I mean, the secondary is decimated last night.
They got the ball run up their ass.
They've gotten the ball run up their ass the whole season.
They can't get it right with the pre-snap stuff.
Tyron Smith is not the same guy he once was.
Hall of Famer.
amazing player, wish I could be him.
But the point is, right now in his current form,
he's a little bit of a liability.
And that's what happens to players they get older.
You know, they haven't been able to run the ball with authority.
Breece Hall is basically, I cannot believe a month ago,
we were sitting here questioning Breece Hall
because the guy from Wisconsin had a better game against Denver
when he's the whole offense.
Okay, and they didn't look like they were on the same page,
Rogers and Devante last night early and often.
Devante. They have such great chemistry. They were giddy seeing each other in the pre-production
and they will. And they will. They'll get it. They'll get it. But my point is you're sitting here at two and five. Yeah. And I think like going in that that Pittsburgh game, you're thinking, oh, maybe we can get these guys. But Pittsburgh's a better team. And so when you look at-
I just say something about Aaron Rogers, I don't want to move on from this yet because I was thinking about this last night. And like, I hate when quarterbacks, I mean, it is obviously the most, it's the biggest spotlight, right?
It is kind of all about quarterbacks all the time.
But you just get this sense that Aaron Rogers loves that.
And like his comments where he threw Williams or whatever under the bus bothered me.
His comments where he threw Saul under the bus bothered me.
But then it's like they're playing the Steelers and you look at Justin Fields, okay,
who's probably playing the best football of his NFL career.
And he got bench for Russell Wilson and a surprising move for Mike Tomlin.
And he was an absolute class act in the media about it.
You know what I mean?
So it's like you would, it's just.
surprising to me that like Fields is the one who's saying all the right things in the media doing
all the right things in the media with a hard situation and a guy who's been the MVP four
fucking times or whatever and Aaron Rogers is continually just like shifting blame and making like
all these you know it feels like he's contributing in a way to some of the dysfunction well
the Jets organization with the way he is in the media it's like why can you just take some fucking
notes from Justin Fields like I never thought I'd be saying that I would push back on the best
football of his career i just i i think the best football of his career is coming little spurts i thought
this and we'll talk about the russell thing in a second but he's playing his team is four and two
and to your point he's benched and he shows class and that sort of thing and rogers
rogers is a guy that he's a little prickly and it comes through when he's at the microphone and it's
easy to say hey it's it's all of our fault for reacting to the way he is at the microphone but when you
take the microphone every week then you basically do what i'm doing for a little a little
living on McAfee and people don't like you.
Like, that's not our fault.
You know, that's, if you don't come across likable, that's not everybody else's
fault.
But here's what's not the Jets fault, the players on that team, is having been through this
whole thing, repeated quarterback failures into like, oh, we've got a savior.
And we're not ready to capitalize.
There are guys in this team, and they're not, it's not the only place that this
is happening, but guys are wasting their prime.
somebody like Garrett Wilson to me
and he made mistakes last night
does he make those mistakes if he's not
out there pressing?
You know like I don't know. I don't know the answer to that.
I know as a player sometimes you
you bring in somebody that throws off the rhythm
of the entire situation. He might be feeling like
damn bro. I waited my whole career
to catch the ball from a Hall of Famer
and he doesn't think I'm enough and they can't get me open.
And you know there's guys on that team
who are going to look up in a year or two and be like I spent four years
with this team during this period, shoot guys that have been there longer.
Exactly.
You know, a guy like C.J. Mosley, who's played great football,
who came over from Baltimore a few years back, and what does he have to show for it?
Right.
You know, there's people making decisions coming to this team, falling for the Okee doke.
And they're the same team.
By the way, they're 4 and 32 New York teams in primetime games, the last 36 games.
I could not believe the stat that I read.
And the Jets are half of that equation.
And, you know, I think the most important thing is, if you look to a team that's two and five and you say, can we get in the playoffs, there was a team last year who was two and five and got to playoffs. You know who that team was the Green Bay Packers.
It was Rogers' own team. You know why? Because they're set up better as a roster. And so when you look at like, you know, Brady going to Tampa or Peyton Manning going to Denver and sticking the landing on a second act for a franchise quarterback,
These guys aren't asked to, and they do not come in and save the day.
I think Tom Brady was as close to that as you could get, but guess what he also had?
Quality players around him, an offensive line, and an organizational vision that continues today.
You know, the reason the bucks are still good, and they stuck the landing on Baker Mayfield, is they have an organization.
They have a way of doing things.
You might not think Todd Bowles is perfect, but he's going to do things a certain way.
and I think they've just made great decisions from a personnel standpoint
and they also didn't expect him to come in and they didn't listen he brought certain guys
that he wanted down there but I feel like he's a better GM and a better quarterback ultimately
a better leader all those things you can say the same for Peyton Manning and Peyton Manning
when he won a Super Bowl he wasn't even playing well you know his neck was barely hanging on
you know so like to think Rogers was going to come in just off the strength of having a pea
shooter on his shoulder like an RPG up there that he's just going to be able to save the day for
the Jets is like it's ignoring the context of the entire organization and how it's been laid out and how
how things have gone for them so yeah two and five last year the Packers did it that kid Jordan
Love who replaced you did it I don't think this team's going two and five and getting in teams not
good enough how but hurt you think Aaron Rogers is watching uh love in the Packers right now I think he's
about everything like just going back
You're seeing like if he's talking back to the media, that means he's probably on social media looking at stuff.
You see all the stats that they have through what seven games last year?
Zach Wilson was four and three and they're two and five.
So it's just it's just a funny situation.
And the grass isn't always greener.
Grass is not always greener.
And I feel for Devante Adams, who I think came there for the right reasons.
I do. I do.
No, I don't.
No, I do feel for Devante Adams because.
He's trying to go with his buddy.
He's trying to go with his buddy who happens to be a great quarterback, not playing like it right now.
It's not smart, bro.
It's not smart.
I feel for him not making a smart decision.
I'll put it that way.
I think he came in with the best of intentions.
He still might have a big year and get paid.
No, go somewhere to be uncomfortable, bro, and compete and be a contender.
Who cares if he's your buddy and it's like all that part?
No, like you're at the end of your career, bro.
You only have a small window of time to try to do what you're trying to do.
I got to say that when he laid out.
Like a Mari Cooper.
Yeah.
Yes.
When he laid out.
to tackle that guy, I felt bad for him because he was showing great effort.
Devante Adams always been a, I mean, other than the photographer thing,
let me take a page out of the Brown's book and say, you know, he's been a consummate pro for
most of his pro career.
In his case, he's just shoving a photographer.
Okay.
But like, Devante Adams, he's a good dude in my book.
He's a great player.
And somebody that I hate to say it is now going to be catching the ball from somebody else in a year or two.
And it's not going to be Rogers.
It might be the kid from FSU, like you pointed out last night.
It could be Cam Ward.
It could be like, I don't know who, but you might be in the sweepstakes.
Could you have a shot of being traded again, a la Randy Moss in 2010?
That's pretty damn interesting.
I hadn't thought about that.
We got two weeks, I think.
Friendship over, though, I think.
They're going to keep them just so Aaron Rogers shuts the fuck up.
All right.
So breaking news, Geronimo, Allison and Robert Tunyon just signed by the Jets.
that's funny i was going to ask if geordy nelson was around yeah okay he's he's flying the plane that
now pittsburgh fans you understand here i you know i'm always i'm always hyping you guys up and
speaking directly to you folks on this program uh i i didn't want to go this far without talking
about y'all but this is listen as a guy who thought justin field should start to start the season
i was also the guy last week who understood why they made the change and
the fluidity with which this situation has developed and, you know, the difference between
looking at it on the surface and really grind in some tape and figuring out why it is they're
making this change. On the surface, it makes no sense. It's what Bo said. Justin's playing the
best football of his career and the team is four and two. And so how could you sweep the rug out
from under this kit? And he has handled it really well. But I think for the Steelers, a lot of it is
like we see what is on the surface and i think arthur smith and you know the people in that
offensive meeting room are seeing what could be and at times we just have to trust tomlin
arthur smith yeah there's a reason they made the decision i speculated it might be because the play
action pass there were a lot of reasons that that you know you might make the change and for a quarter
and a half we were all riding the wave we were all like kept fields back in like what the fuck is it
okay but he was getting booed Russell was getting booed he was getting booed and then you know what
happened the moonball happened and it wasn't the prettiest moonball I've ever seen I mean I played that guy
twice a year he used to break our backs late in games I mean we kicked their ass for 48 minutes and
then like the the fourth quarter starts and he hits some shot and they win 20 to 7 or something
like that like we but but this is what this guy does and I think when you look at fields
not being able to take advantage of some of these shots.
Not only does Russell give a guy like George Pickens a chance,
and that's all he needs.
Toriko said it last night.
If it's a 50-50 ball, he's more like 70-30.
You know, and last year I said this,
I said George Pickens has Hall of Fame potential,
and all the Steelers aggregators laughed at me.
And the fans, I had people in my mentions like, hey, easy.
But you can see when a 50-50 ball is thrown to him,
the strength of his hands at the,
catch point. You just got to give this guy a chance. And so I think it's not only giving the guy a chance,
but also knowing decisively where the shot is to take and when to take it. And I think like that's
the one thing. Justin Fields is a little laggy in seeing the play develop, seeing the field,
he hasn't accessed the middle of the field, and the target share was way out of whack. And we went through
it last week. There were guys who were barely touching the ball. I thought something that was really
interesting besides some of the numbers that I'm about to give you is the target share okay bear with me
here steelers fans and and you you last night pickins 38% of the targets that's up from 30% so like we
thought pickens was getting the ball too much if you'd have told me coming out of this game he was
going to get the ball more i would have thought well one of the other guys getting the ball
they all got the ball more Washington got the ball more 15% target share yesterday as opposed to
four previously austin 15% as opposed to 12 previously warren 12th
That's a big one as opposed to 5%.
Why isn't he getting the ball?
Okay, you got it last night.
Jefferson saw a slight uptick in Target share.
The guys who did not get the ball as much in the passing game,
Friermouth, I'm okay with that.
That might just be a one-night thing.
And Harris, which I'm absolutely okay with.
He got 11% less of targets last night than he did weeks one through six.
So if you look at the way it lays out, guys are getting the ball more.
Play action pass, boots, things like that.
That showed up early and often.
get that guy washing the ball i mean he's out there punishing little guys with the football
and he's got to be the biggest fucking tight end since gronk dude oh he's enormous i mean he's bigger
than wrong and and so when i look at when i look at the efficiency pre-russ EPA per rush 20th in the
league EPA per pass 14th in the league 18th EPA total per play last night EPA per rush ninth in the
league, EPA per pass, fifth in the league, fifth in EPA per play. And part of that is the Jets defense,
but part of this is a commitment to running the football and then enjoying the things that come
off of it. Whereas before you couldn't, because play action passed last night, 42%, previously 31%.
I'm throwing a lot of numbers at you, but sometimes it's easier than going through the all-22
and pointing out all the ways that the team improved. These are ways to describe that. Okay, so play action,
weeks 1 through 6, 29th in play action percent.
Play action pass success rate, 28 percent.
And then Russ last night, 12th in play action
pass success rate at 43 percent.
So holy shit, that paints the picture.
Yeah.
One thing I was wondering about too when they were kind of before Russ,
it felt like he was like a little uncomfortable at the beginning of the game.
We talked about on the broadcast.
I think we all kind of saw it.
And then he got very comfortable, but he did do a good job of running their offense,
protecting the ball.
Ultimately, like, got hot at the right time.
I got a good win.
But the question I was kind of wondering,
the thing I was thinking about is you think,
you know, Mike Tom was the decision to start Russ.
Does that speak to maybe want to continue to develop fields more
and like kind of teach him?
You know, you know how you have those young quarterbacks in the league
and exactly like, you know,
love and Aaron Rogers, Aaron Rogers and Brett Farv.
Like, do you think they want to keep him around
and kind of develop him a little bit more?
I think that's a great question.
And I think it relates to a,
question i'd be asking Shane stuyken and the colts which is like and fields is way ahead of where
anthony richardson is no but that's a perfect comparison but but to me bow you hit the nail on the head
that might be why and i think like this is nothing bad has happened that can't be fixed for justin
fields in in pittsburg they sat him down four and two with at the right time behind you're with the
team behind yeah exactly and so you so now however long this break is he's coming into with a clear head
I said this last week.
If this had happened in Chicago, and for good reason,
I would have said Justin might not have trusted the coaches.
But I think he trusts this group.
That's what came across to me.
And once you have trust, you have the player's attention
and you have the player's opportunity for development right in front of it.
And so I think that like if Russ is a one or two year thing
and fields can, you know, stand right on the sideline.
I mean, Russ is just a cheap vet rental from the Broncos.
They're not paying him shit.
No, they're not.
So it didn't hurt to bring him in.
Yeah, I think another piece of it, another piece of it, too,
is looking at the back half of their schedule.
I'm sure Tomlin wanted to know for sure they're going to be playing their best ball.
You have Ravens twice, Bengals twice, Chiefs.
You have commies, you have Eagles.
Like, they've done a great job for the first half.
They did what they had to do to position themselves,
but they have to be playing great ball in the second half here.
And hey, look at the output offensively last night.
Look at the explosives.
But another, like, little wrinkle why I like it,
just for thinking ahead possibilities is if Tomlin does decide to throw Justin Fields in there
for a few plays here and there in games coming up. What it does is everyone whom plays you for the
rest of the year, you have to take timeout in your practice during that week to prepare for
fields and prepare for Russ because they have two different set of plays and Justin Fields can kill you
with his legs. So can Russell Wilson, but they can kill you with their legs in different ways.
So it's something I think we have to respect Tomlin and his choices.
I mean, he's one of, if not the longest tenure coach for a reason.
And that's a choice that we might not see what's going on,
but he obviously knows what he's doing or he has an idea.
And I think everything from whatever he's thinking is starting off the right way.
In the second quarter, we set it out loud.
We're like, we're starting to be like, hey, are we trusting Tomlin?
because, like, he kept Matt Canada around a while, and, like, that wasn't the right thing.
But maybe this is a decision that he's making.
That's the right one.
And I think for Justin Fields, there's plenty of time.
And you said it, different packages, maybe get them in there in the red zone some, get him in there in short yardage situations, whatever it might be.
The taste of him have it.
Yeah, like, seriously.
That's it.
Maybe they need more time to put that together, and that's why you didn't see it last night.
Yeah, like, I don't know.
And we'll talk about it.
I think last night they didn't want to create any computer.
That's what I think they didn't do it last night.
No, absolutely.
Yes.
I made this decision.
I'm sick of this.
I'm not going to throw fields in here.
Yep, I agree.
And in the red zone, in the low red zone,
I'm not going to run these quarterback zone reads with him because I want the team to
understand that I'm giving Russell.
Richard.
Richard Doom said one good game and everybody forgets how bad Russell was last year.
I don't know, man.
They scored 35 points.
I think what we're doing is we're reacting to the now and, you know, the now on this football
team.
And I also don't think he was as bad as you think maybe last.
year. I mean, at least statistically, they flashed a stat up last night of his last 9, 10 starts.
And, you know, with the defense like the one that they have right now, you got to remember,
the Broncos defense last night or last year was the defense that gave up 70 points.
They didn't play like the defense that's playing this year. And I don't think Sean Payton liked
for us. And that's his prerogative, you know, and it's not going to work for everybody.
But I think what Russ did is he came into a situation for the first time in his career where he had
to earn it and he had to say okay like I'm not part of the day one plans like I'm going to take a
back seat and get in my bag a little bit and get motivated to come back and I think that stuff matters
like being a vet and having to earn it again is a hell of a thing it can rejuvenate you I remember
when I was a vet going to New England coming off a two years on I are and I had done my my
I had done my best over eight years in St. Louis and was an established guy but now all of a sudden
I'm knocked down to nothing.
And for me, that gave me the motivation and, like, the stick-to-itiveness going through that process
extended my career.
And I'm not saying Russ is on death's door, but what I am saying is, like, this can help him,
having gone through this last six weeks of soul searching, and for once, just sitting still
and trying to figure out what is it about my game that can be better on the back third.
And you know what else is crazy?
Just Russell being a guy that, like, you hear all these.
narratives about how he's corny. I don't know if we ever seen this. We ever seen this before.
Where do those come from? But I am, I was shocked and excited to see that Russell Wilson was doing
prearranged handshakes celebrations with guys. Yeah, that's always a good sign. I mean, yeah,
yeah, it is. Aaron Rogers would never. No, like, there's some quarterbacks that really wouldn't.
And like I think that goes, like that's like a comfortability or like I really trust you.
And of all people, he has a handshake with George Pickens, someone that we see who's always
looking in.
He's always fucking open.
But outside looking in, he looks like a guy that maybe you're unsure about what's about to go on.
But I mean, I'm going to happen now.
The funniest thing last week was when George Pickens, they put a microphone in his face.
And they're like, have you and Russ been working on?
And he just took the bait.
like like like like like catfish man i know he was starting last week and and he was like yeah i mean it's
it's his first start and everybody's like oh fuck you know there's there goes three days of like i'm not
sure for and they still won and uh and they looked really good once uh once things got rolling so
for naji harris after the last touchdown to come onto the sideline and him and a bunch of dudes
are doing the belt to ass celebration like that was kind of the mindset that that team had the other
the team was focused on everything else and Pittsburgh was in a foxhole at four and two.
They felt like they were the foxhole team.
The Jets felt like they were the foxhole team, but everybody's looking at Aaron and Devante,
save us.
You can't.
Two players can't save a team.
And so.
Oh, and to your boy, Nick Siriani, that's how you respond and you talk to your fans after a win.
We'll get there.
Shout out to Nick Siriani.
I'm going to put him on this damn t-shirt.
see um but but the whole thing is i do want to shout out this uh no no no we'll move on to the
next thing we'll move on the next thing i do need one thing before we talk about the next thing do you
guys have that thing can you bring me that thing can you take this cooked hug though yeah you
i'll give you something else i'll give you i'll give you something else i'll give you something else
oh you see this little uncooked bangles dog with the little what you did there can you zoom in here
can you zoom in here you see the bangles
they got their little tiger stripes.
I had them put the tiger stripes on the uncooked hot dog.
The Bengals are not cooked.
The Bengals are not cooked, Nate.
Now, they're going to lose this week to the Eagles, I think.
Let me see something.
But take a look at that hot dog.
It's so amazing.
That hot dog's so uncooked, it'll make you sick.
I'm going to take a leak while you look at that hot dog.
It's amazing that you can call a team uncooked,
a team that last week against the Giants.
Just tell the peanut gallery.
I got to go.
Look, last week against a struggling, terrible giant.
Jones hasn't thrown a touchdown at MetLife since he got his new contract. You're happy about
a win against them. They struggle to win that game. And then they struggle to beat the Browns.
The Browns played three quarterbacks. Three quarterbacks, Chris, I know you can hear me.
Three different quarterbacks in this game. And it wasn't a convincing win. Like, I don't see how
he thinks that the Bengals are not cooked. And they played two quarterbacks that are better than
their starter, though. Say it one more time.
No, bro, I agree, absolutely.
But with that dumpster fire in Cleveland,
I just feel like the Bengals, if they were a good team,
this would be like, oh, let us get back.
These last two games would have been like,
oh, let's put up 50 so we can put everyone on alert
that we're not cooked, but not going to for me.
So you want style points?
So the way you win games doesn't matter,
but the way you lose games,
well, the way you win games matters,
but the way you lose games doesn't matter.
The way you win games only matters
and Nate's minding just close to beating
the two best teams in the AFC.
Almost doesn't care.
So it doesn't matter that the Browns
almost beat them or that the Giants
almost beat them.
It does for you
saying that you believe
that they're not. I know. I'm just pointing out the inconsistency
here. That's all I'm saying. All of a sudden,
do you remember what we said a couple? Actually,
they've been on a run since you call them.
They're going to be like, oh, they were this close.
No, I'm not.
To win.
Hey, if they don't get in the playoffs, you're right.
How does that feel?
Oh, I mean.
That's all we're doing right now is if in December they're in the playoff race, I'll put it this way.
Then you were wrong about them being cooked in September.
I agree.
I agree.
It could slide in.
I doubt it.
The two things about the Bengals, Gino Stone got hurt, left in the aircast.
And then after the game, they said he's going to be okay.
That's a big deal.
And then, you know, Orlando Brown leaves.
with a calf injury
and that sounds like a big deal
but they say he's probably
going to be okay so
you know like another step in the right direction
from the Bengals
what do you want
who do the Bengals play next week?
Play the Eagles.
Guess who's favored?
The Eagles.
Nope, the Bengals.
Really?
And guess what that means?
The Eagles are probably cooked too.
So the Eagles are cooked
if a team that is cooked
is favored to beat you
really maybe oh come on now that's just an overly simplistic way
look at that the chat oh the chat agrees with me how the tables have turned how the
turn tables 56% of of chatters of locals say that i vote that i'm right did you vote you agree
with me yeah ball no i kind of just disagree and made out of principle
I knew it.
I knew it.
Yeah.
But only time will tell, guys.
Only time will tell.
But it's a bitter sweet.
That's what I said to you a couple weeks ago.
You said time doesn't tell it.
We don't need the time.
But look.
Throw out the clocks.
It's going to be bittersweet next week.
You know why?
Why?
Because I'm going to bet heavy on the bangles.
Really?
Heavy.
Really?
Yeah.
Just because you're betting on a cook team.
I mean, they're favored.
Something's up with you, bro.
Their favorite.
All right, big day for Trey Hendry.
They had a couple sacks.
Charlie Jones,
Charlie Jones basically saved the day to make this a game where, you know,
out of the gate,
a team that's tormented Joe Burrow and they have had their struggles with this team.
Like, to me,
I know where the bit is the bit,
but like this was,
a win is a win against this team.
A win is a win against his defense.
The way they have owned the Bengals.
And to get that special teams touchdown out of the gate was big.
And to come away without the injuries being made.
Major, hopefully, fingers crossed.
That's a big one.
That's going to be a damn good game, Philly and Sincy.
We're going to talk about Philly in a little bit.
We'll find out if the defense is better.
We will, because this offense can get guys open.
I mean, there's a lot of guys you've got to cover out on that field.
So let's talk about the Browns thing, shall we?
Okay.
So, I mean, ask me how I feel.
I can't start a monologue on this thing.
Ask me, ask me how I feel.
How do you feel about the...
I'll tell you.
how I feel, Chris.
You guys feel like you're not going to.
Oh, wow.
You're not going to say it.
But to me, dude, this, this is, if anything, some sort of proof that there is indeed a
higher power.
I don't know how it worked out like this.
I don't think James is going to like you invoking God.
Yeah.
On this.
Whatever.
Did you see Jay Boo's interview after the game, too?
Oh, we saw.
We saw Jay Boo's interview.
I love James.
He's a great teammate.
He's a friend of mine.
But I always say it's funny.
Maybe too good a teammate.
people say things like he's out here putting his life on the line like you he just had a devastating
injury it's fucking horrible it doesn't matter who it is it sucks you know yeah but he's not putting
his life on the line on sundays okay i think i think my thing is more like what i'm not going to do
today and this is a very human moment as an analyst i like to come in here and have my ducks in a row
and and and have something insightful to say and like right here i don't think there's any right
answer to your reaction to people cheering Deshaun's injury because as a player, generally, I don't,
I hate people cheering injuries, but I also hate sexual assault, which do I hate more?
I mean, maybe if you don't want. I hate sexual assault more. Okay. And so it's a pretty simple,
it's a pretty simple calculus for me is I'm not going to be the one cheering the injury,
but I'm not going to moral high horse on anybody this morning who did, unless you're a Browns fan
that justified it back in the day when you were like oh it's no big deal like just they're not criminal
cases you know like or it was a massage you know like whatever however you you justify being a browns fan
if you're one of those people then double shame on you if you're somebody that doesn't like
sexual assault and is pissed that the franchise which is already run down over decades you've been
waiting for a savior for 20 plus years and 30 years and then they they they throw you this guy
with everything he has going on and you're cheering I'm not going to be one of those guys who stands
up at the podium and is like hey bad you know what I said yesterday when it happened oh DTR's in
the game yeah that's it move on yeah you know what I'm saying and to me and I like justice okay
I have a strong sense of justice as somebody with an ADHD brain.
That's like one of the side effects of having ADHD.
You want justice to be served for things when they're wrong.
This is one that I don't need anything as a fan.
Now, those victims probably feel a different kind of way and I don't blame them.
But as a bystander, as a fan, a sports fan,
I didn't need that to happen yesterday to feel like justice was served.
You know why justice is served?
I mean, it's not in a strict sense because if he did,
those things he's out there playing football and earning that's not good but i would never want to trade
places with dachian watson not with all the money he has not with all the things he can do with that money
i don't i don't care what he has going on in his life i would never want to be him and like for the
rest of his life you only get one of them he's that guy and when he left the stadium yesterday on a
cart and the whole stadium's cheering and you know everybody hates you and you're a failure now at
football on top of life.
The rest of his life is punishment.
No, yeah.
And so me as a bystander, I don't need anything.
And I'm not going to cheer, but I'm just going to be like, oh, DTR's, man.
But here's my thing.
I think it's kind of crazy everyone's reaction to those fans cheering.
Like, if you had to put, if we put this situation and hypothetically in front of you
before it happened and said, hey, if Deshawn
Watson got a season engine
ending injury? I'm just
saying, like, how would
you react to it? I don't think any
of those fans, if it's a home game,
would be like, we would
immediately go silent. Like, usually it does when you
see, like, one of your star players hurt
or whatever it is. I just think it's crazy
for people to feel like,
oh my God, I can't believe this.
These football fans did this.
Jawsoul says, Justice got served,
because none of them filed criminal cases and got paid without actually having to prove guilt,
but then some like emoji.
I love all of a sudden we're just pretty selective about when we trust the justice system, right?
Yeah.
We're just sometimes yes, sometimes no.
The other comment I wanted to respond to was John Stockton.
He gets too much hate for what he did.
If he's a free man, then treat him with respect.
John Stockton respectfully, no.
And the irony here is that you play with Carl Malone.
that was a good one
and I guess
I guess if
I guess if it's all about being a free man
then nobody not in jail should be judged
nobody walking around free should be judged in this society
I'm glad we got there
okay I'm glad we got there good
good and here's the other thing
and I didn't want to come in here
moral high ground the guys on the Browns
the way they cape for him almost made me think
that there's some conspiracy that they believe is going on
tone death
It's just being tone deaf
I'm not gonna moral high horse these guys
I'm just gonna say like are you kidding me bro
It's tone deaf
Are you kidding me
He was a model citizen for college
And then most of the pros
Like listen to what you're saying out loud
Listen
Listen to what you're saying out loud
I'm not trying to justify it
No I'm not talking about you
I know I'm talking about the player
And I don't know if they're best friends
With this guy and like yeah
Maybe they think they're being
Good teammates by like
And the worst time is sticking up
for your teammate when he's probably going through
the worst time in his life and everything like that,
but it's just toned down.
John Stockton, lots of fans expose themselves as bad humans,
expose themselves as an interesting choice of words here.
Lots of fans expose themselves as bad human beings
with how they acted after Sean's injury.
They're walking free.
They haven't been charged with a crime.
We can't judge those fans.
You know what I'm saying?
They're not criminals by the letter of the law.
So I don't know, man.
Anyways, whatever the future holds for that football player, I'm not sure.
But it's probably a good thing for the Browns, honestly, that he's not taking snaps the rest of the season for a few reasons.
For a football reason, and then also for the fact that every time he goes out there, you are reminded of, you know, if you want to call it 95% guilt, 99% guilt, 90% guilt, I don't care if it's 70, 30.
The 70 part of that equation looms large every time he takes the field.
And for me, it's way hard in 70.
So, come on.
I mean, like, let's be real.
Let's be real.
So, yeah, I don't, people cheering,
you're not going to see me wagging the finger at them.
I didn't do it.
And I also wouldn't be the guy at the locker.
That's probably my least favorite James Winston-Mran of all times.
Oh, man.
And it's just like, James,
you're about to have a chance to step in there.
If DTR is, in fact, hurt.
and that's not the way you want to start it out like oh he got yeah he got hurt and then and then you know
james comes in and so i don't know you know if he goes out there next next week like what if those
fans boo him for for defending him or like whatever it is not it's not a good start it's not a good
yeah it's not good and then and then the worst thing these very passionate fans yeah he's funny now listen
the worst thing about it is to me is nick chubbs the guy that everybody should be rallied around and
like yeah you know he goes 11 for 24 which is bad sign right like i thought he would come in and
be able to against the bangles front right which has been kind of like they've gotten some guys
back but but the whole thing is nick chubbs homecoming he can't even get that off without it being
a big think peace game you know because de sean watson exists and and got hurt and so now all the
scabs are opening up so um all right so what's next do we have an ad read or we get to the chief
and the Niners.
We will.
Lions fans, we will get there.
I wanted to start the show once we got through that little section with two best teams
in the league if you're taking an AFC team and an NFC team.
I think the AFC team has proved to be the chiefs.
I don't care how bad they're playing.
Offensively, I don't care how many injuries they have.
And then the Lions yesterday made a strong statement.
And I will outline that because I had some people, you know, sometimes I hop on after
the 4 p.ms and do this live reaction you should check that out every week i try to give you something
but not everything i'm going to give you here and one of those things i didn't give you was the lions
and i had people being like oh you're just not going to talk about the lions don't do that that's
not how that thing works on sunday afternoon you're always going to get a breakdown on monday
especially if you play like the lions play and don't forget who put you in the soup bowl
lion fans got a chill act like you've been there before your team's going to be good for a while
Like, no one's forgetting about it.
We should, yeah.
No, let's be constructive.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, I'm not going to say you got to chill.
I understand why you're not chilling.
But of all podcasts, we actually put you in the Super Bowl.
I think I had you winning it.
Okay.
All right, so Chiefs,
do you remember when Andy Reid wouldn't run the ball back in the day?
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
Yes, I do.
Guy that grew up in Philly.
Yep.
Okay, and I can remember when Doug didn't run the ball.
Bo, what did they used to say?
They'd be like, well, that's just that Andy in him.
Yep.
You remember that?
Yeah. He's like, yeah, I remember.
Yeah, I remember.
But the commitment to the run game right now shows me that they're just in a different place.
He's in a different place.
I think it helps to have the big guys inside.
The patience knowing you like your chances on third and medium.
That's what defined the game for me, okay?
That is what defined the game for me.
They averaged third and four on the day.
They racked up 185 yards rushing, but none of it was spectacular between the tackles.
I mean, it was just an attrition thing.
And it was just a willingness to go two yards, three yards, and know that if you get in third and five, we like our matchups.
We like the way we can scheme things open.
When we get into third and eight, third and ten, third and twelve, which I think they had four third downs over third and six on the day.
They only converted on one of them.
That was the Noah Gray circus throw.
Okay, like we don't want to live like that every third down.
I think in the other three plays, you had an image.
interception and two pressures.
So like when they get in third and long,
it's not as much about loving your matchups on third and five
as it is about hating the matchups on third and eight,
namely the guys up front,
Nick Bosen, those tackles.
So I thought that was a huge deal,
just staying on it for them.
They came out, ran some split zone,
kind of like would just stick to the inside run
against the two high looks.
And then when they went single high,
they made them pay on the perimeter.
with jet sweeps, with fast to the flat stuff,
which actually turned out to be their version of a couple Super Bowls ago,
the speed option, slowing down the defensive ends.
You know, last year it was the read option.
Whatever it is, they're going to have a wrinkle to slow the rushes down.
And more importantly, when you get in those single high looks,
they're getting out on the perimeter.
When that box gets packed, they're getting out on the perimeter.
And I thought that was great.
Two scoring drives in the second half.
13 plays, 79 yards, 643, 8 runs.
two well okay hold on let me let me say this a different way two scoring drives in the second half
for the chief 13 plays 79 yards 643 eating up another one 12 plays 80 yards 627 eating up that's like 13
minutes that's like 25 plays I think 22 of them 22 20 of them yeah 20 of them 20 of them
run plays 20 of them on those two two drives so you see the chiefs are one thing they're very
fucking comfortable with who they are
okay and it's another reason i compare them to the uh the patriots of old because the patriots were very
comfortable with who they were it was a pay there was the patriot way but if we're going to win
games on defense this year damn what we're going to win games on defense if we're going to run the
ball we're going to run the ball i don't care who's hurt could be a running back it could be two
wide receivers outside we're going to find a way and i think like as brady sits there and he's
breaking down this game up in the booth i can't help if he if he's thinking like
like they remind me of us back in the day with the the second act guys okay like hardman had a big
day yesterday for for for for them uh kareem hunt has been a revelation Nate Nate called that okay
guys coming back into this system and them convert you know at the same time saying I don't need
anybody new we just need the guys know the the system we'd rather have guys who are unspectacular
and know how to get on my page than taking big swings at guys and so
So that's the way they're going.
And I think when all things are equal, it comes down to Mahomes.
Okay, these two teams are not in their perfect form.
And when the game's tight, Mahomes shows you why he's the best of our generation.
I mean, and it's not necessarily throwing the ball every game because he misses some throws.
He's missed some throws this year.
He missed the shot to Worthy out of the half.
That game would have been curtains, okay?
But third and six to Kelsey or whatever was, third and eight to Noah Gray,
running away from Fred Warner
shaking winners on the
sideline just ball faking the dude
like here's the ball
getting out no
I've been waiting for you to bring that up
I've such a bone to pick you don't like that
that scramble from Mahomes on the sideline
you don't you don't think what do you think they make it
impossible to hit these quarterbacks
these days and Patrick Mahomes
with his little his little hip shimmy
you know he's shockingly mobile like
my hat off to him like he is a
great athlete
lead. But like, dude, he's making it look like he's running out of bounds and then shaking a guy for
like 15 more yards because the guy's scared to hit the best player in the league on the sideline.
So hit him. So hit him. So hit him. Exactly. Packers did it last year. It bothered me so much.
I can show you plenty of plays where where people finish my homes on the sideline. You know,
there's ways to the, if you're blaming that guy's angle on Patrick Holmes, I mean, his angle was
trash. It was trash. But it was.
his trash. And Brady mentioned
that like five times. But also like
it's just my my grievances
with the protections at the quarterback's kid.
All right. Like you're just as a defender like you're
you can't hit him high in the pocket. You can't hit him
low in the pocket. You can't even remotely
attempt to hit him when he's sliding.
Was the pocket on the side line.
He's kind of creeping out of bounds and then
all of a sudden he shakes you for 15 more and you're
watching that replay on SportsCenter all week.
Just want to blow your brains out. It just is a bad
position to be in as a.
And I think I'm not saying you're making this point to score points with the chat,
but I think a lot of people in the chat will agree with you.
I haven't even looked down because, and I'm seeing the, you know, I just don't want to look
because there's a lot of people that hate the chiefs, okay?
And I could hate the chiefs.
They beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl a couple years ago and I could be a chiefs
hater and all that stuff.
But I appreciate greatness.
And that play is greatness.
Okay.
So we could say, hey, you know, it's really hard to tag.
Oh, it's hard.
you know shove him out of bounds
shove him out of bounds you know what I mean
put two hands on him taking inside out angled
sidelines your friend
don't waltz by him and take a seat on the bench
okay so like you can blame that on that
but another thing I love about Patrick Mahomes
is down there on the one he ran over the guy
I mean he tropeet in the air
ran over a guy who had been
obliterating all his teammates for 48 minutes
and I said this last night
who needs gas station
pills, man, my testosterone
went up watching that shit.
Oh. That gave me a little
testosterone. But when I said, testosterone. But when I said,
I got a chub watching the Steelers' defense,
what's the difference? A big difference.
Testosterone doesn't give you boners.
Yeah, it does. Oh, it does?
No, we're allowed to talk about boners. Jerry,
I just think you're wrong. I think you're fishing.
You think you got a gotcha moment,
but you're equating,
receiving a testosterone jolt from watching
Patrick Mahomes, an American quarterback.
What do you think people take those gas station testosterone jolt pill for?
How do you know so well?
What, to go to the gym?
How do you know so well?
To go to the gym?
How do you know so well?
I'm just saying, bro.
I'm just wondering.
What do you think they're there for?
I think there are boner pills at the gas station, but I think there's also low quality testosterone boost type pills.
We'll make that the, if you're the loser of our fantasy football team, you got to go to the gas station every day and take one of those gas station.
No chance because I'm already.
Oh, and seven tax?
might lose dude i'm i haven't set my line up in weeks but the point is we should be appreciating
this guy's greatness if you don't want to hey you're missing out because this guy is he's a stud
and the way he finished that game the way they ran the football um the leadership on this team
you know like the defense spags getting guys ready the nazi johnson guy can you pull this up can you pull
up the all 22 can we pull this off during the show i just wanted to show you something i think
the defense played really, really well.
We'll talk about what San Francisco didn't do.
But I just think Spaggs is one of those guys who gets,
gets guys ready to play in the back end.
And no matter who-
Tom kind of gave Spags his flowers last night, too.
Even though he called him Spacknulo the whole game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But he did say he's like, he was my kryptonite, like, blah, blah, blah.
I feel like you don't hear that kind of shit from Tom that much.
Bro had two picks.
Well, I mean, come on, bro.
I mean, who, jaw soul again, I don't hate the chiefs.
I just hate how inconsistent folks are when it comes to talking about QB play.
Bro had two picks with no passing TDs, but when others do that, the narrative changes.
Well, what we're dealing with here is something called, I can't think of the word, but it's, it's, you build up enough equity.
You build up enough equity as the best player of your generation.
People are going to give you a little bit more leeway for not playing a perfect game.
And the guy on the other side line through three picks.
So Joss Sol, I would ask you who's a better quarterback.
Here's the point.
Who are you drafting first?
That usually shuts the conversation down real simply.
We're going to talk about the lions in a second.
Somebody's going to call me a golf hater because I'm going to say he should be in the MVP race,
but I don't necessarily think he's the MVP.
And people are going to tell me I'm a hater.
And then I'm going to ask them, who would you draft first?
And I know it's not what the MVP race is, so don't get me all fucked up here.
But the point is when people are, what's the, what's the, what's the,
gripe with Mahomes. You want somebody else? I mean, nobody else is making that play. Maybe
Josh Allen, QB2 on the planet. Okay. So I look at this thing and I just say like, listen,
in a ball game like this, and Worthy fell down on one of the picks too. Okay, not to cape for the guy,
but also we had somebody fall down on two-point conversion lane. That was a big deal.
Footing. You got to get your footing right. Who are you drafting first out of quarterbacks,
Josh Sol? What do you think I'm talking about? Baseball relievers? Who are you
drafting first out of all the NFL
quarterbacks. If you're
going to tell me you're taking somebody over Mahomes
and his name is not Josh Allen,
I don't know. You're going to tell me it's Lamar. You're going to tell me
somebody else. I'm sorry, but the playoffs, you
build up equity. And when you win championships,
you build up equity.
Mahomes record just beats
for itself. That's from Daniel Son.
Sometimes it's not as complicated
as you try to make it. You know what I'm saying?
Sometimes you just, the simple take
is the best take. And shout out
to Andy Reed because Andy Reed.
Do we have that red zone pulled up?
Yeah, let's look at it.
Okay, now the play
before this play, okay, it's
2112 here with
with 11 to go.
Okay, so the Niners, the Niners
get in the red zone because they take advantage of a corner
being down. They go at Nazi Jones,
right? Nazi Johnson.
So they take a shot at Nazi Johnson,
they get down there. Nazi Johnson
could be burying his head in the sand. I mean, most
people are like, okay, we gave him some points.
The very next play, this is him making a play that people don't notice this play.
But in the red zone, the guy that gets the ball carrier down in a situation is often the guy who you can attribute to points coming off the board.
I mean, Jordan Mason, full head of steam here, coming off tackle here, and there's a vice tackle between him and Justin Reed.
But if Johnson doesn't come in and make this tackle, shoot his gun, make the tackle, which is what, it's a simple thing.
But if you miss this tackle, that's six, right?
I mean, I think Justin Reed might be able to come off and make this play, but I don't think so.
So you're in the right place.
You make the tackle.
You just got burnt.
Okay, we line up and play second down.
And on second down, you can hit down, hit down, read, or next play.
Second down, you get Nick Bolton.
Nick Bolton knifeing in to make a play.
Watch this fucking effort from Nick Bolton.
Go to the end zone view if you could for people watching a live show.
If you got audio, you got to check out YouTube.
Nick Bolton making a play.
Linebacker play was awesome yesterday for the Niners.
or for the chiefs.
It was awesome.
Early in the game,
they had to be in base a lot.
Those guys were kicking their ass.
Channal, Tranquoise.
Three and Iers couldn't really run the ball.
They couldn't run the ball into base,
okay?
And that's one of the problems
when you don't have a lot of wide receivers outside,
not necessarily in this situation,
the red zone, but out in the field.
When you don't have a lot of wide receivers you can trust,
you've got to be in more big personnel groupings.
And they matched those personnel groupings with base
and kicked their fucking ass.
Nick Bolton played a great game.
So now what do we have?
We have third down.
okay and we got a guy named george carloftus who's not a perfect edge rusher but he's a really smart
player and this is him spinning back in in the red zone knowing you can't get too high in the red zone
knowing you got to come underneath at eight nine yards knowing that this was the time to make a move
and force a pick and i don't know where brock purdy's going to throw this ball maybe he throws a pick
anyway maybe he throws out of the back of the end zone but that's three points at least and that ends up
being seven if you think about them you know scoring a touchdown it could be a four point play you know
this nazi johnson guy making a play after he got toasted gets down the red zone makes a play
knocks the ball down we see this all the damn time all the time i feel like it happened with brees
hall uh last week in the game against the bills he gets out there on the left sideline i can't
remember who hunted him down whether it was taren johnson or actually i think we gave him his love i
think it was taylor rap that's a tackle that's worth points i think they ended up
up missing the field goal. I might be misremembering, but the whole thing is Spags gets guys ready to
play. I don't care if they just came in the game late. I don't care if you got beat. It's the mental
toughness that he instills in this defense. And it doesn't hurt to have backers like he has.
And honestly, losing Legerious need, losing Willie Gay, losing these pieces. You still got Chris
Jones. You still got this front. You got guys that can move around like chest pieces. You got Justin
Reed. You got McDuffie. But I did not know this defense would look as good. And the
way they have shouldered the responsibility for this chief's team has been really impressive this
year.
Chris, you're talking about getting getting ready to play.
I got to give a guy a shout out, not for the chiefs, for the Niners.
Imagine being a highly drafted rookie, okay?
You're much anticipated rookie season and you get shot in the fucking chest.
Okay?
Through the chest out of your chest.
Out the back of your chest.
And now you are finally in your rookie season debut.
Three catches for 21 yards for, you know, Ricky Parasel.
Might not seem like much, but like, no, it's huge.
Kudos to you, man.
Like, good for you.
That's crazy.
You got shot.
And now you're, you know, playing the Chiefs, getting some catches, getting your feet wet a little bit.
Like, good for you, man.
By the way.
You want to give that guy some love.
If I'm waking up today, if I was Mike Williams, I'll be telling my agent,
I'll rather spend my winter in San Francisco than New York.
No question.
There's going to be a couple teams looking at my point.
There's been a couple of team.
And Kansas City would be one.
But, like, again, they seem kind of like comfortable to stand pat.
And if they don't stand Pat, I'm going to be real interested to see who it is they bring in.
But I think more than anything, like we're talking about the chiefs bringing people in, it might be the Niners who have to bring somebody in.
Because now Iuke, and you said this right as he blew his knee out possibly yesterday.
You were like, he was proved right.
Yeah.
You know, that's why you hold out.
This is why players hold out.
and for all the fans and and if you're really a fan of players and the team and you wonder why guys
oh these guys are so selfish because you're getting paid so much money to drafting golf over
Josh Allen to do all this you're so you're so selfish for holding out for money but this is the
reason why like everything doesn't have a happy ending for players everything doesn't have a happy
ending for organizations, but just in NFL in general, this is why you fight for your money,
because who knows if we'll see IUC again, who knows if we'll see the same IUC again,
but it's something where, thank God he did fight and get the money he got because might be
the last time we see him play.
Might be the last time we see him play for a little bit, and, you know, like the timing of
it would have been really tough had he reported a camp and going out and blown his knee out.
But like that's the reality.
And people would say, hey, tough.
Like, guys do it all the time.
Well, he took matters in his own hands.
And kudos to the agent.
I don't know who the agent is.
Now, I also look at this and say, like, who the fuck mainly are you going to be throwing to now?
Pierceall, it's good to have him back.
But, like, he's got to be a hell of a player.
And they didn't have Debo yesterday because of some illness.
So that's a really tough deal when you go out there and you got to throw,
you got to throw to a bunch of guys that when you played the Super Bowl last year at the Niners,
you couldn't get guys open against man coverage.
So you're coming at this game down Chris McAvery.
One of the reasons I took the Chiefs was because I feel like all things being the same,
you're down your best man separator and your best player offensively.
And Kansas City has seemed like they have stuck the landing on losing their pieces that they lost on defense.
So, you know, when Debo's down and you got to go.
The good news for the Niners is they're playing Dallas next week,
so they're going to run for 350 yards.
They don't even need to throw the ball.
I would hope so, but the point is, at some point this season, you're going to have to be able to throw the ball to win.
And this passing offense does not look the same, okay?
Like, it just doesn't.
It looks pedestrian.
It looks like a little bit constipated to use the verbiage of Elaine Johnson used talking about Philly a week ago.
And I know it'll get better when Devo's back.
But still, and that's a great defense they were playing.
But the record is the record right now for the Niners.
And they are in a bit of a hole.
And, you know, they might have to make a move.
You know, I think like just having to go to Bell in a situation where they're not on the same page,
you're going to a rookie that you wouldn't usually be going to, you get picked.
Like those situations come up a lot when you got to go to guys that you can't trust or you don't trust yet.
And, you know, they had miscues early in the game, penalties, red zone stuff.
So, I mean, really got my head spinning now because now all I'm thinking about is Devante Adams leaving New York already.
It's like this year going to a new team
And just how big of a story
And how great that was going to be
He's not leaving, dude
He already moved in with Aaron Rogers, man
The roommates and everything
Bro, that's one argument away from
I'm out of here
I mean, you know
People in the chat are gonna be pissed
But I gotta take another leak man
Oh
So you guys want
You guys want to talk about that Detroit game
And then I'll come in and give you my two cents
Like give me your take
You know, hey
Pop Quiz Hot Shot
me you remember speed yeah nfc north is hot and sexy and i like watching the the nfc north man
even with your boys even with your minnesota boys going down i mean hey i'm a fan of good
football facts and i think that was the best game like i i want to know what you personally
thought of that first uh fake punt from dangt camp i mean it's it's cajones but honestly
what it is is showing your defense that you respect them and you kind of you trust them even though in
that situation it didn't work i mean they turned around and gave up a touchdown and how close this
game was luckily that didn't bite you in the ass but it's something we've seen all the time you can't
sit down at a blackjack table and see a guy when it's when it's a 17 sometime hit or hit on a 17
every single time and then get mad if another 17 comes out and you think he's not going to hit
because of whatever reason. Are you saying you like the fake punch? I kind of like it. It's not that
it's not liking it or not. It's just that I'm not surprised by it because Dan Campbell,
like that's what he does. Yeah. It's not like I, it's not like I, when the Green River Killer did
his like eighth victim. It's not that I don't like it. I just wasn't surprised by it. Like,
not everything that doesn't surprise you is okay.
Ah, like they won the game.
Well, I understand they won the game.
Yeah.
But, and this breakdowns like it, because you know I love Dan.
Yeah.
I love, but, but foundational, if you fake something, you do it based on the element of surprise.
There is a, there's a, but hold on.
Can I, can I finish?
Okay.
I just took a piss.
Okay, okay, okay.
The, the inflation effect of faking everything.
under the sun after a while there's less of an element of surprise now you get that back in maybe
teams on special teams being focused on the fake yeah and you getting hidden yardage on the return
team or whatever it is but but that thing didn't shock anybody your point and do we and this is this is
playing devil's advocate is there any i don't even know why we need to play devil's advocate is there any
chance that those players on punt they have an automatic fake read that they're maybe getting
No, I mean, a lot of times there is an automatic.
But not on the first punt.
What if the teams know that, what if the teams know that and bait them?
That's a call play.
No, there's not, there's not, there's no kill on special teams.
You don't kill a punt to run a fake.
You do get permission sometimes.
The upback does.
The upback can get permission, but not in that situation.
Not to run that option.
Not that play.
Not that play.
No, and.
I got you.
I was just going to say, like, moving on from this pun situation,
we were kind of talking about what stood out from this game.
I think the biggest thing to me that I kind of really liked from the Lions defensively,
at least, it's like, okay, obviously a heartbreaking situation with your best defensive
player, Aidan Hutchinson fucking murdered his leg, okay?
How do you replace that kind of production?
I love how they came out and just blitz the hell out of the Vikings.
I thought that was awesome.
I feel like that was a completely different game plan.
20 or 35, I think.
Yeah.
I got to look up the exact list numbers, but like they were bringing so much pressure
and different pressure looks than they'd done previously this year.
And I thought that was really cool.
It's like they obviously understand that they're missing a key playmaker on defense
and they're trying to make up that production schematically.
And I think that's a really cool thing.
It's just to me it's a testament of like their coaching staff,
understanding what their team is and how they get the most out of their guys
who they have available.
And that's just good football.
So I thought that was really cool.
I mean, with their coordinators and their coaching and,
in Detroit is like as a former player you kind of watch that I don't know if you felt this way
but it's like and I would like that'd be a fun locker room to be a part of no question I'm sure that
they play hard they practice hard they seem close they're winning you know what I mean and it's like
it just feels like they are putting their players in positions to win and like that's really all you
want as a player well you want confidence I think like right down to the quarterback you think about
Jared Goff who there was a time where I was arguing with people the other way now I'm arguing
with you people that tell me he's like better than Josh Allen in the chat I I fucking love
Jared golf dude the fact that he's doing what he's doing right now is everything that football is
about it's about getting up off your ass when somebody counted you out and you know when McVe
said he's not good enough for me he goes to Detroit and makes makes uh you know I can remember
when he played the Rams the first damn time.
Okay, and people were like,
oh, they might have something with this bridge.
Well, no, he proved that he's a franchise quarterback twice.
You know, most people get to the Super Bowl.
You don't have to prove it again.
He's a franchise quarterback.
And he's the type of guy that, you know,
whether you're like me and you think he's fringe,
he's in the bottom half of the top 10,
or you think he's the best quarterback in the league,
like some of you folks in here.
We shouldn't argue.
I think we're on the same side.
He's enough for Detroit to win.
That's why I put them in the damn Super Bowl.
and the way he's played the last couple weeks,
when the play action is humming,
when you play Minnesota,
and coming in is one of the things we said,
over the middle of the field,
there's chunk yardage to be had.
This guy ate him alive over the middle of the field
in key situations.
I mean, there's nobody, I'll give him this.
You're just talking about with how Flores runs his defense?
Well, yeah, with the way the backers
conduct themselves in past game
when they're sitting in zones
and the way they can get manipulated and play action,
and the way they leave the middle of the field open sometimes
with some of the pressures that they run,
I thought that Jared Goff is the perfect guy to exploit that.
I mean, and when you watch him kind of fire some of these balls
over the middle of the field late in the game,
there might be nobody better at throwing the ball
at the intermediate level over the middle of the field.
And in that right, he is truly elite.
Because if you can access that part of the field,
you see so many teams having trouble doing that.
I thought this was just a great performance by him,
but a really good job by the whole team.
We said coming in,
who's going to have the lead?
Like,
that's going to define this game, right?
Let's find out.
Dan Campbell's saying,
let's find out what happens when they're down.
And you find yourselves five minutes in the game down 10
in one of the toughest place to play in America
against an undefeated team because you're faked upon.
Okay.
And a division opponent too.
And pressure was getting there early.
Like the first two
second play of the game
I think there's a hold
They bring heat
I think a third and three
They get Grinard on a hold
Like they're punting the ball
They're fucking up a fake punt
Like that is so hard
In the NFL to dig a hole like that
On the road
And be able to
To claw your way out of it
Listen you guys will tell me
I'm a hater
I'm a big fan of the kid
The guy, he's a guy now
You know he's not a kid anymore
I remember when he was a rookie
But like he fits his team perfect
he fits what they do perfect and that's why I have no problem if you want to say he needs to be in the
MVP race no problem if you want me to say he's the best quarterback in the league you're not going to
get that out of me you should probably stop watching the show if that's what you need to be happy
you should stop watching the show but I will tell you he's perfect for this fucking team and he's
playing great ball he's playing as well as anybody in the league right now and uh you know when they get
the play action going like I said there's there's not very many people who are better at turning
their back to the defense.
Coming around,
accessing the middle field,
working up in the pocket.
He did that a couple times.
Edge pressure,
little shimmy up into the pocket,
deliver.
I thought he was great,
but the whole thing is like,
when you're down,
that's not the game script
that Dan Campbell imagine.
All they did was
370-yard touchdown drives.
Like, that is insane.
Detroit lines in the second quarter
being able to do that.
And Minnesota helped him
because I thought,
thought Arnold got a little nosy on the Aaron Jones touchdown, which by the way, right after the fake punt, that's like most teams, they lose that game. You go on the road, you fake a punt, backed up, Aaron Jones, right into the end zone, like, fuck, we're cooked, not the lions. They get that toughness about them. They go out in the second quarter and they put those drives together. By the way, another one of the touchdowns in the second, Amunrah, St. Brown, that's a bust. So if you're Minnesota, you're walking out of this thing saying, hey, we gave them two touchdowns, right? And that's how they're going to,
to look at this game is they're going to say, hey, guys, like, we're good enough to beat this team
because we blew a couple plays on defense that we gave it to them in one play. But I don't agree
necessarily. I agree they're good enough to beat him, but I actually would tend to side with Dan
Campbell and what I imagine he's saying in the locker room right now. But the point is, you come out
of this game and you give one of them on, one touchdown on a short field and one on a Dave Montgomery
fumble. Like, like, I have a longer list of things that they didn't do perfect, but those two things,
like you allow how many points in this game to the undefeated Vikings 29 points in the game
14 of them you can give them right back you know we we spotted them 10 points we still found a way to
win we they came out in the second quarter and had 3 70 yard touchdown drives the third one cap by
a third and seven where jimere gibbs who's not a fucking big guy runs over stepan gilmore in the end
zone he's running he runs so hard they both run so hard that everyone on that team plays
so hard and that's why I'm curious like
I think you've talked about this before
like the Lions hangover effect
or like the you know the opponent that they play
like how they fare the next week
I haven't heard that. He's have a short
on a short week bro how are you
saying oh god I can't I don't want to interact
with the chat on this thing just don't want to do it
just not going to do it you guys think what you think
I think what I think again like
there's anyway it'll be interesting to see
the Vikes on a short week after a physical
game against the Lions
when they play next
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hold on. I got one more.
I got, fuck it. Move on to the next thing. Who cares?
No, but I'm out here. Get going.
No, I do you got. I want to hear it.
What do you want? What do you want? What are you looking at? We don't know what you're looking at.
No, I was just going to get to one more thing, which is the fact that Minnesota comes out of this game. And I didn't think, I don't think Gilmore played that well.
Oh. Like Raymond, there was a drive in the third quarter where Raymond was killing him.
Raymond on a third and short, like, dropped him. You had him on a third and nine, too. He beat him there.
I thought Raymond also shook, this was a big game for Raymond.
He had a quarter there where, I mean, he was beating Gilmore,
and then he shook Murphy.
And, you know, I'm not saying it.
But, you know, that's probably a touchdown if it's on target.
So, like, he really played well.
So having him kind of, I mean, he's always made plays for them,
but this was one of his better games of the season has to be.
And Gilmore on the other side, like not a banner day for him.
I want to give you the golf under pressure stats,
10 for 11 for 162 and two touchdowns.
Gruden's going to have a fucking freak out this week.
Nicy.
I know there's no such thing.
11.6 yards per attempt under pressure.
A perfect 11 of 11 between the numbers.
That's it.
In the middle of the field, he kills people.
And Minnesota's got to get that short up
because as good as they've been,
they're going to see these guys again.
The minute they got the run game going,
it was like, all right, we're going to now,
we're going to pick you apart in the middle of field.
So even though Minnesota lost this game,
and there's no such thing really, like, in sports,
as a good loss.
Right.
But is this a good loss for them at this time?
No, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Like, the point I wanted to make was, like,
they're walking out of this thing,
and, you know, there's two ways of thinking about it.
The Lions could be thinking about it, like,
hey, we spotted them 14 points.
14 points.
But Minnesota comes out of the game,
and I thought we don't have, okay,
if we're Minnesota, first off,
KOC didn't call his best game.
Mm-hmm.
You know, Justin Jefferson's got a touch the ball 15 times.
Look at how close this game was.
Look at it in the middle of your screen, if you're on YouTube, how damn close this game was.
And like in every way, this is, these are two great teams.
There's not one pretender, one contender here.
They're two contenders.
Yep.
And, you know, I think you come out of this game, Minnesota is like, okay, we don't have
Hawkinson.
I would have thought they would have liked to get Detroit heavy a little bit more on defense,
like get the three linebackers in the game, get them in base a little bit more.
you don't have as much versatility without Hawkinson where you can do that and then throw out of it and get the matchups you want.
I thought, I thought, you know, like Darnold played pretty well.
I don't think you come out of this game and say Darnold played poorly.
He played better than he played in London.
So, like, if you see him again, I think maybe you'll let him rip a little bit more.
Like I said, Jefferson touching the ball eight times, four of them on one possession out of the third quarter, which, by the way, you scored on.
That's got to be better.
and you'll get hockinson back and uh i think just overall like you come into this game and you're
thinking we're pretty good we lost to a damn good team you know we blew a lead we jumped them we
blew a lead it's no big deal they'll be back um and you know darnal did throw the pick
brian branch is like hall of fame talented yeah okay that's an amazing play um but he did have somebody
in the flat it's second down and then he probably wants the third and four late in the game back
where you could ice this thing and you go to Jefferson
and you're too high. So, I mean,
they missed the two-point conversion. That was big.
We're parsing this thing.
These two teams are going to play again once, maybe twice.
Yep.
You know, and they're two of the best teams in the NFC.
I just happen to think Detroit's the best team in the NFC.
And that's what I thought coming in this season
and watching this game.
It's amazing how much better Detroit looks
the last couple weeks than they did the first couple weeks of the season.
And we'll see if that hangover thing
continues for Minnesota.
I have a question for you, Chris.
I was thinking about this.
Vikings is coming off a bye playing Detroit.
I almost would rather not have a bye week before playing the Lions.
Like, do you think there's, like, I don't know if there's anything there, but it's like,
you almost have too much time to sit and rest and wait on this physical, good, talented
team.
I'd rather just, like, I don't know, not even have, I'd rather have a buy week after.
I'd rather have a buy after for sure, if I'm faced with one of those, one of those.
two choices. They're really good. They're really good. And they're really physical. They're like a
fucking machine, dude. Also, a couple hidden heroes in this game. Amig Robertson. Robinson,
Robertson, Robinson. I had it right the first time for once. They had him on Jefferson a lot.
And he did a pretty good job. There was a third and seven late in the game where they tried to get
Justin open on a pivot route. And he's right there. And that's where Donald's looking. I thought
he did a great job.
Also, Jack Campbell, Stud,
Alie McNeil Stud, did a great job.
Brian Branch, stud.
There's plenty of guys on this team
that don't get all the credit
because you are looking at golf
who had justifiably the gaudy numbers
when he's on.
Wow.
And so I just,
hats off to the lines, man.
What's next?
Green Bay Houston.
The other NFC North game.
Oh, man.
Green Bay is good, guys.
Green Bay is really good.
Yeah, they are.
Green Bay is really good.
And I've got a backup quarterback
would make them even better.
Well, it definitely affects their floor.
Yeah.
In a good way.
No, in a great way.
You think about a team that could be playing
for home games in the playoffs
or, you know, if they want to win this division,
like it could come down to, hey,
Jordan Love could get ding one of these weeks.
I mean, Detroit's got Hendon Hooker,
but they got Malik Willis.
It's hard to think about themes.
Like, you kind of have to think about that.
Like, it's something to think about guys getting hurt.
but it's a long season and it's freaking physical.
Like, and all it takes is one hit for a guy needing,
especially right now in the season,
needing a couple of games off or something like that.
But to see Jordan Love, like have to do that already early in the season
and then bounce back and come back looking the way he is,
getting back to it.
No question.
It's a great sign.
No question.
I think people in chat are already asking.
and what happened to CJ Stroud.
I don't think anything happened to him.
Texans are banged up.
Texans.
They're banged up, man.
Well, he doesn't have, he doesn't have Nico Collins, who's like his security blanket.
It's a tough rogue game.
End up being a good game.
I think the Texans O-line is not the best.
Like, still a good game and not a bad showing from the Texans overall.
They lost my two points, you know?
You know what I'm doing?
I think it's bad.
Huh?
You know what I'm doing everything?
What is it?
What is it?
What?
I'm sending your best instigator before the game.
to get into Stefan Diggs head.
Stefan Diggs was not mentally there for this entire game
because he was trying to fight or do whatever he was
with Alexander and all these other guys.
And I personally think that affected the game
because I think Stefan Diggs, this is a game
where he should have numbers.
He should have numbers.
He should be doing well.
And I just think that Green Bay did a good job
maybe throwing him, taking him out of the game mentally.
I love that quote from him, though.
Yeah.
Quote from Diggs.
I don't.
If I'm his teammate, I don't.
I'm never going to be the bigger person.
Oh, Nate, that's fucking you, dude.
Not after a law.
That's me for sure.
That's me for sure.
I'm okay.
I like this quote.
Even after a loss?
Yeah, I don't mind him saying I'm never going to be a bigger person.
Did you see his stats?
Yeah, but Jairer, did you see his stats the last certain amount of times he's played,
Jari or Alexander?
But I mean, that's the last time, bro.
I'm just saying for this game right now.
What's the point?
The point is that Houston's offensive line gave up four sacks, 11 tackles for a loss,
Tankdale's not getting the ball, Bobby Sloics and the crosshairs,
second half out puts this year.
You take New England game out of it.
17 points, 3 points, 7.7.7.6 points, 3 points.
You got a top 5 quarterback, in my opinion.
He's fringe top 5, okay?
when you see him make the throws,
when he's actually got people open
and can make the throws and he's protected,
I think he's incredible. There's going to be people
that couldn't wait to say he's not very good
or whatever it is. Watch the games.
Okay, he's under siege on third down.
At one point in the third quarter,
I don't think they had converted a passing third down.
I think that was the case at some point in third quarter.
And not to mention,
I don't think any of the receivers got heavy work yesterday
because they didn't even have time to get the,
work and I want to give Green Bay credit because it's that defense is Jeff
Halfley on third down and there were times in this game where I didn't know who was
coming you know he had blitz packages that were were surgical yeah yeah and
and the four-man rush is a lot to deal with there you know so I think what happened is
and what's happening to this team is Bobby Slowick some of the shine is coming off right
it's been a year and a half and I think there's a lot of new pieces that they've
had to recycle and figure out they're down Nico Collins they just got Joe Mixing back who
imagine if they didn't have Joe Mixing in that game yesterday they would have fucking got run out of the
building man okay or if their line was just slightly better or if their offensive line was better
and and also it's not just like they're bad players I'm not saying they're a bad unit but what
I am saying is they're having trouble sorting games and blitz protections some things in the NFL
come down to preparation and the coordinator sometimes yeah you know I think it's really hard for
people to understand that until sometimes things get fixed and I'm not saying something needs to get
fixed. I'm saying internally something needs to get fixed. They need to figure out who they are a little
bit. And I think having Joe Mixing back for a period of time now, hopefully for more than two weeks at a time
in a new offense, this will give them the ability to get their legs under them a little bit. But the
stuff on third down has got to change. The stuff in the second half has to change because if it
weren't for love throwing two picks in the first half, if it weren't for Green Bay giving up a
return uh you know muffing a punt like i don't know that they're in this game at all and so you know
like stroud frustrated all day lots of pressure on him i remember we went to the sideline and he's
cuss he's not cussing but he's like getting his guys going and everybody's like okay they're gonna
go they just went back out and handed it to mixon you know what i mean like he got the offensive
line fired up and then mixon moved the ball up and on the field he just doesn't have the time
where's the quick the quick game from this offense what is it
he just doesn't have the quick game there's no there's no quick options for him that i'm like all right
this offense is just like it's it's surgical when you bring pressure they know where to go with it
and we it's it's a common theme in the nfl be like hey it just feels like sometimes the spacing
is fucked up or the the routes are a little bit too ambitious for the down and distance or
whatever it is but they need to figure out a way to not get this guy killed because yeah he's he is
under siege right now. Yeah, and it's a copycat league, right? So like everything that's working against
CJ right now, like you saw in the Minnesota game, you saw it this week, I thought Jeff Hathley
called a hell of a game. You know, this system, this like four down, three deep systems, you see the
Colts, the Jets, the Niners, those kinds of teams running this. You don't usually think of the
disguises as a feature of that system, and he did an awesome job adding those wrinkles. It looked
kind of like Minnesota at times, some of those third downs. Yeah. You're talking about where they're
you know, showing 7, 8 on the line of scrimmage and then rotating into Tampa, too.
So, I don't know.
I wonder if it's like, in a sense, some like regression to the mean a little bit with the
Texans, with how well they played last year with both Bobby Sloick and CJ.
Everybody has a year's worth of tape on you.
So, yeah, they just, they have some things I've got to figure out.
Okay, but if you're a Texans fan and you're looking ahead, the Texans are going to be fine,
man.
Look at the AFC South.
It's dog.
They'll be fine.
right? They're going to be in the playoffs.
They're banged up right now. They're missing.
Wasn't Nico Collins still like the reception leader in the NFL up until like a week ago or something like that?
An absolute security blanket for Stroud, who is a very good young player, like once they get some of their guys back, and they're also missing like six key guys defensively too.
Yeah.
So like if they get healthier over the course of the season, continue to just play pretty well and get healthy.
to win the AFC South by a wide margin and they're hopefully going to be rolling by the time
it's a playoffs like I think they're going to be fine it wasn't their best showing yesterday against
a good Packers team but like they're in a good spot still yeah defensive stuff hurts them
I mean you saw it last week in the second half against the Patriots I mean like Drake Mays
's lighting them up and I'm not saying it's a bad thing because I think kids are going to be pretty
good but you know it's his first damn start and you're kind of letting them off the hook because
there's some some personnel issues but I think the thing we can't go the whole
game without mention. And we we've definitely, this has been a Houston centric breakdown for sure.
But I think the coaching, the coaching from D'Amico early and late, like, I thought the no-challenged
flag is the difference in the game on the lateral. Like, we could be talking about all this stuff,
to your point, Bo and, you know, Nate, but like, the problem is if you don't throw that challenge,
flag the very next play they go to wicks for a touchdown and that's a that's a backwards pass yeah and so you
miss the challenge and at the end of the game i thought that the clock management and kind of like
then he took a time out at the end of the game right well i didn't like i didn't like getting down there
and just kind of sitting on your hands and saying oh we're going to kick a field goal because you know in
that game nine times out of ten it ends on a field goal try and i don't care if you if you you
you bleed the clock down to one 30 it's too much time in the end up and the end up you
NFL. It's too much time.
Especially for a team that leads
the league in explosives. Right?
So, you know, it's just one of those
things where
fuck.
I thought they could have been a little bit more aggressive
down there in the red zone at the end, try to get a touchdown.
Felt like they just kind of
especially, I mean, it's a tough
situation because you can't protect.
Nothing. You can't get
third down along. They were short of the sticks
on the last third down of the game.
Yeah. So tough, tough.
like coaching decisions.
I also not sure what happened at the end
where Romeo hit the ground
and the clock ran.
They lost like six seconds.
I don't know if they would have called a time out there,
if they would have liked to have called a time out there
to maybe get one more play as a return team.
I can't remember how many timeouts Green Bay had at the time.
I think maybe Green Bay just had one.
And who knows?
Green Bay probably would have backed up
and took a knee and then kicked the ball.
But I thought...
Green Bay did have one.
Houston had three.
I think it probably ended up.
seconds. It probably ended up being consequential, but, you know, I look at the beginning of the game,
not throwing the challenge flag, and then the end of the game, you know, just sitting on your hands.
Yeah. Coach is in the booth, man. I feel like you got to blame that on them. The head coach,
you're at, especially a situation like that, you're at eye level and you cannot really tell
from the field if that ball is going backwards or not. No, you need somebody in the booth to get
to you and maybe he didn't get it on time. And it's just like, my thing,
is I don't understand not getting it on time.
Like just being able to be like, hey, you got to make an executive decision up there and be like,
you know what, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it.
Even if you're halfway sure, it's just one of those things.
It's just like, what are you saving those timeouts in the first half for?
Don't know.
Like, what are you saving them for?
Like, because that's the worst thing that's going to happen.
You're going to get a time.
You're going to have to use a timeout.
But, yeah, it just sucks to think that that could have changed.
And, you know, like there's little things like the tank dell drop, basically a drop in the end zone early in the game.
Well, they just came up empty, you know, down there.
And, you know, a trip like that when it's tough sled and you got to make the most of that trip.
And so, like, you know, you look later in the game, be really nice to have those four points.
You know what I'm saying?
So the whole game, you come away from this.
I don't think if you're a Texans fan, all is lost.
You lost to a damn good team.
It's like the Vikings.
You lost to a Super Bowl contending team.
on the road where I think the fucking Packers are going to be hell to deal with as the year goes on.
They got to be one of the best teams.
I mean, right now I would put, it's funny, the NFC North is basically on top of the, the NFC.
So why does Vegas still have the Niners is the second best Super Bowl odds out of NFC teams?
They must think Chris McCaffrey's coming back, you know, but I think that's bullshit.
Me too.
Not that he's coming back, but I don't know they're good enough when he comes back.
Yeah, you still get the Packers at plus 1,400.
if you really like them.
The whole NFC North,
I mean, it's really interesting to me.
If the Packers get a cold,
snowy, winter,
it's over for anyone that has to play them there.
Like, when it starts getting,
when it starts getting cold.
Yeah.
Because they're built, they are built.
They are a team.
Like, it would be cool if Detroit played outside
because it would be the same thing for them.
It would be cool.
But they're built,
They're built for a team to go in there.
I'm not going there.
To go in there and honestly, like just try to beat you down and beat you down.
And when it gets cold, we're going to see how these deliming and these linebackers and these safeties and these corners fill gaps and how you tackle and how different it is for the end of the season when your body's not feeling the best it is after training camp and all that.
No question.
And I'm always interested to see how.
different things start happening and how Russian yards go up.
Well, Josh Jacobs.
Yeah, he's going to love it.
It's about his harder runner in the NFL as there is.
And who wants to tackle him in the cold?
Scored his first touchdown in Lambo yesterday.
That was crazy.
That's him.
He would have thought we got our Lambo leap before he did.
Yep.
So.
What about mixing?
Yeah, in the Lambo league.
Yeah, well, so that's funny because like that did, I told you guys this,
it happened to me in L.A.
When we played the Rams, uh, Super Bowl,
Do you remember that boat?
We beat him at the end of the game.
And then a couple of us went over to Lambo Leap or Englewood Leap at the Coliseum.
At the Coliseum up to some Eagles fans.
And then these Rams fans like reached over where they were like, they were like Eagles fans like right here.
And I jumped up to Eagles fans.
And the Rams fans reached over and shove me down.
And then like and then I kind of like did a gesture and kind of walked off and wave because we won.
But I got killed for that.
Like I was trying to jump in there and I hate the Rams and shit.
I'm not mad at the guy for pushing Joe Mixing back, like down out of the stands.
I'm usually on the side of the players, but I've been through this.
And you know what?
Hey, you can't expect to jump into an opposing fan basis crowd.
I've been there and, you know, I don't blame any.
Would it be much worse than Philly.
Right.
Hell yeah.
I'm upset for the one Houston fan because why you dumb fans ruin my moment.
I'm the only Houston fan right here.
Mixing saw me and he decides to come and jump.
He did ruin the moment, but Mixing needs to jump, like, directly onto that fan.
Yeah.
And there needs to be more than one.
You give him the too small thing?
I think he did give the fan the too small thing, which is true.
Yeah, you're too small.
I love that.
Mixing played his ass off.
I think mixing being back is a huge.
And also, hidden hero, Evan Williams,
making a big play on that two-point conversion for the Greenbackbackers.
He's played big ball.
Go, pick, go.
We're going to find out.
a lot about the Packers here down the stretch, man.
They have Detroit twice.
They have Minnesota again.
They have San Francisco.
They're at Seattle.
Very tough place to play against a good Seahawks team.
So like they're,
they're very good.
And Green Bay,
they look great.
But like,
it's going to get real for them here pretty quickly.
Hey,
what do we think, man?
The birds are back.
Are they back?
Who?
The Eagles.
Back from where a flying stuff?
Wherever they were last.
last week you know i saw that that movie anybody's seen that my great migration movie pretty underrated
digital uh cartoon there i did a digital cartoon i don't know i'm saying that right animation have you
seen that anime well no it's not anime it's like a kid's movie it was kind of Pixar adjacent
adjacent it's not like a you know you get what i'm saying it's a good fucking movie it's ducks and
shit it's a very good plot oh no you know they got to migrate you know who did the screenplay on it
Who did it?
The guy, Mike White, who did...
The quarterback?
Nope.
Oh, the guy who did Succession?
See, not Succession.
What's the...
Oh, White Lotus.
Yes, White Lotus.
Mike White.
Mike White.
You talk about the guy from School of Rock?
Yes, yes.
The roommate in school...
That's actually where everyone knows him from.
100%.
All right, so Philly, New York,
listen, I just want to say eight sacks
for the Eagles defensive line.
A lot of that's New York.
I'm not trying to rate it on the parade, but that's a damn good day, right?
It might be five sacks another day.
But like, you know, when they come, they come in bunches.
That's what we said.
For a guy like Huff, who has not gotten home to get a sack to record five pressures,
that's a big day for your defense.
I think more than anything, I just want to say, Nick Siriani took it on the chin last week.
I think rightfully so.
I mean, I don't think, and he acknowledged that.
Like I didn't I want to be different than that
He came out there this week had his team ready to play
I know they didn't score in the first quarter
They still deferred which is the most brilliant thing you can do as an Eagles football team
And say we're gonna we'll just take it in the second half
But but like early in the game when they were feeling out some of the protection issues
So was Daniel Jones it was kind of a stalemate
They found a way to get out in front and I think like the sayquan rushes
The first time sayquan hit up former team
teammate. I don't know if there's a former teammate or a new guy. But like the very first time he made
contact with a giant, I said this yesterday. I used to wonder what it would be like to tackle
Stephen Jackson, kind of like horrified. Like seeing him in practice and being like, damn, what
if they ever traded him or some shit and I had to tackle him? That would be probably not good.
And last night, Sequin got the ball and yesterday. And the first thing he did is run somebody slam the
fuck over, fresh off a fine. Dane Belton. Dane Belton. It was there last year. Yep. So,
So that's his buddy, presumably.
And Dane had that moment where he was like, oh, I'm the first guy that has to hit Sequin.
Like, let's see how much pent up aggression there is in this thing.
And there was a lot.
He saw those jerseys burning.
And he said, I'm going right through y'all.
And they were booing him.
And he probably didn't think they was going to boo him.
And now that guy, he has to see that highlight forever.
Forever, ever, ever.
Forever, ever.
Hey.
I don't know who I think the MVP of the Eagles offensively is.
right now.
Who?
Our boy Stout.
Think about how many degrees they've had on the offensive line.
I mean, Jordan Milato went down.
Mackay Beckton got injured again.
Lane was down for a little bit.
I don't know.
This one dude, Jason Kelsey retired.
Jurgens is playing well.
Like, dude, the O-line for the Eagles has been phenomenal and a lot of moving parts there
too.
So like, shout out to Stout, man.
He's an unbelievable coach.
And the birds rushed the ball really well, too.
obviously the Sequan, but got to get some love to stout.
No questions.
And not to take away for what you just said, but on the other hand, I want to say shout out
to sexy Dexy, two more sacks, nine total on a team.
He's never, ever playing with a lead.
And he has, he's leading the NFL and sacks from the DT position.
He's not a D.N.
Yeah.
He doesn't play the outside.
He plays inside and he has nine sacks.
He's dealing with us on a tag.
every time.
Bro, you know how hard that is?
It's insane.
On a team that doesn't have leads.
That never has leads.
That means you're getting sacks on first and second down.
He should be a DPOI candidate.
I mean, if it keeps going this way, like even if the team loses every single game from
here on out, if he gets into the 18 to 20 range, like, what do we do here?
You got to give him some, I mean, he should be in the conversation.
I mean, that's what the production says.
It's just like we just talked about with golf.
he might not have been on the short list coming in the season he should be on the short list from
here on out because the guy i mean i don't know if vegas has got to reflect it like or whatever it is
but i you know it was also funny sayquan barclay who obviously and this is what i love fans players
analysts they always want to be like hey when it's game day you don't fucking talk to the other team
it's war between the white lines they might be your best friends everyone's different sayquan got in the end
zone and helped Dexter Lawrence up.
I thought that was a really cool moment.
Respect. Respect, bro. And you know what?
You can call it soft. You can call it whatever you want.
But nobody's questioned Sequan Barkley.
I mean, nobody's questioning that guy. And the two explosive runs he had,
first one, around the left side, got a shout out Cam Juergens.
That was an incredible block to spring him. And then the second one, the one that went up
the middle, Lane Johnson, cave in that alley a little bit.
So it's the best of both worlds
When you get this offensive line humming
You turn to a rushing offense
Gainwell had a bunch of yards
Like go figure
Two things got accomplished for the Eagles here
You played with a lead
And you ran the ball
In doing so
So like that's what those guys are begging for
You know those guys up front want that
They want to play with a lead
It wins the last time the Eagles
We're in control of a game
From start to finish
Not start to finish
Because that wouldn't involve the first quarter
But from the second quarter to the finish
and we're in cruise control.
That has not happened in a while.
Yeah.
I can't remember.
I mean, like maybe it's happened one time and I'm forgetting it,
but it doesn't happen with regularity.
And then on defense to get home,
you know, to blitz a little bit,
to mix in some pressure.
And then also guys like Jalen Carter to dominate,
Huff to get on the board,
you know, like eight sacks is a group.
Yes, we said part of it is a product in New York,
but part of it is also eventually the damn breaks.
Russian coverage go together.
The coverage is,
improving, the rushers are improving, they're playing with each other, they're figuring out how to
rush with each other. Yeah, coverage has been better. The defensive backfield has been nice.
Those young players are nice. Whenion Mitchell is good. What that being? So is,
Gray-White Hope. He's good. Dejean, yeah. With that being said, with this win, 283,
what do you think Vegas is having them as an underdoor to the Bengals next week? Just because of
that offense? I mean, that Bengals' offense can be scary.
You know, I the defense has been streaky too.
I mean, look at the performance against the Falcons and compared to the performance against the Saints.
And then yeah, it's just been like really up and down.
Well, it comes down to can you if you can drop back and throw and test this secondary,
I do think there's matchups to be had and like, yeah, we're getting excited because Cleveland
and now New York.
I think Vegas is probably saying, hey, Philly's a little overvalued coming to the spot and
Bengals are a little undervalued.
you know and i think that's the way the thing works i mean and so how does the game play out i think
two questions i think it's it's how do you cover their guys and then how does what does lou anirumo
decide to do against jalen hertz and can jalen hurts play the way he played yesterday which i thought
was very good and including that fourth and three which when it happened i love that i was like
what are we doing when he dropped his shoulder to take a shot and it hit for the second week in a row
I'm eating crow on the couch
And that is why
The shot is a part of that offense
Now I still think you come out of the gate
And you're more conservative
To try to get that first couple
First downs
To get those points in the first quarter
We haven't quite found our way
Imagine how good this team would be
If they played the first quarter offensively
That's a little spin zone here for you
You know
But I thought like more pistol
That's another thing
I've been calling for more pistol
We got more pistol yesterday
Wasn't it like markedly more?
Yeah, it was a lot more.
It was a lot more.
It was a lot more.
You know, so, listen, Calcutera's got to play a big role with Goddard out.
If he's out again this week, I don't know what the expectation is for him playing.
But he's also got to get his nose dirty and block a little bit.
They got linebackers playing fullback a little bit for this team.
Like, I need more out of the, you know, the tight ends.
Yep.
You know, especially if Goddard's out.
Yeah, even just seeing more run.
early in the game like we're talking about like they're on the first drive of the game they're
dead last and efficiency in the league and on those drives it's almost a 30 70 run pass split yeah and you
look at what they do well it's the top five in terms of efficiency top five rushing offense
and then more league average right now um passing the ball so it's like stick to what you do well
to get yourself going early in the game and and to your point then you're playing with the lead no
question the rushers out yeah i just i don't understand that no one because it's like obviously
Kelly Moore, you have a first 15 that you script.
Yeah.
How has it been so dry?
I just, I'm so confused by it.
Because I think Nick might be involved in the first 15.
Mm-hmm.
Like, I'm not, listen, I'm not like, hey, again, I'm not, I said good job, Nick.
This was a really good week.
But if he's in that meeting when they're writing up the script, he needs to get out of that meeting.
Yeah.
And let them do what they're doing.
Now, that's a big if.
But that to me is like, the first 15 does not look like the rest of it.
Right.
No.
And that's supposed to be your best plays.
And like to both.
From earlier, the O line could be, you know, other than Saquine right now, the O line could be the best player on this team.
Yeah.
Just, you know, you play with your best guys and you could say the logic is, hey, we pass it to run it here.
But look around the league.
Look at the chiefs.
They've kind of reinvented themselves as a running team because that's what they do well right now.
Yep.
Yep.
No, I mean, listen, I'm not saying they're world beaters, but this was a good win to get under your belt.
And like for people saying the Giants are trash, yes, I would generally agree.
But what we've also said is they're a tough out.
prove that against certain teams and you know like three days ago the line was uh you know
giants catching points that's like the sharpest play you know it's the sharpest play of the board
you know i heard a couple people say that well then don't say on monday morning that the eagles
didn't beat anybody um they they came in they had a good plan for neighbors and they ran the football
and the pass rush got going and that's a divisional game and most divisional games do not look like
that so that was a very good start for them i'm not saying they're
back like capital B like Super Bowl contender back, but I think they're on the right track.
And a lot of that, I got to tip my cap to Nick Siriani.
I thought they came out of the buy, even with the mish, looking a little bit sluggish.
And then this week I was hoping they'd look angry.
And I think them looking sluggish last week led to them looking angry this week,
and hopefully next week we're not complacent.
Yep.
You know?
Saquan has three runs of 50 plus yards this season.
the Eagles had six total from 2019 to 2023.
It's a good edition.
It's a big edition, man.
It's a big edition.
Are won things for the rest of the show.
These are the final six games here.
Seattle, Atlanta.
What are your one things that you saw yesterday?
I mean,
Gino's a fucking dog.
Dome Gino, bro.
Don Gino.
One of the reasons we told me.
Dude, that third and 15 throw to D.K.
was so sick.
That was sick.
Not better than...
The one before the half,
or the one...
Kenneth Walker, throw.
Cashed in a...
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Cashed in a parlay.
Piece of a parlay for me and a little bit of money.
That little pocket movement
before he let that ball go,
like just the footwork, everything.
He can look sometimes like a bona fide, you know,
elite guy.
He's, you know, he's not that every week.
You know, if they played inside every week,
I think he would be that guy.
Yeah.
Yeah, we talked about on the preview show,
102.4 rating over the last few seasons when he's playing inside.
He finished with a 99.8 rating in this one,
two tuds, no picks, only one sack.
What if he was a saint right now?
What if he was a raider?
Playing over half his games inside?
He could be a perennial MVP candidate.
He could be a perennial MVP candidate.
Don't tell me he couldn't be an MVP candidate.
Seattle's defense.
Three takeaway.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Chill out.
Especially down.
What?
You're not going to relax.
Relax, guys.
Everybody is relax.
Talk about the defense.
Seattle's defense.
All right.
Well, here's the thing.
They're down Rieke Wullen.
They were banged up.
Yeah, that's a big.
The rookie came back,
Byron Murphy.
You know, Boye Maffe made a huge play
to put this thing out of Reed.
And we'll get,
I had some Atlanta fans,
and I mean this sincerely,
no tone.
I had like an Atlanta fan or two
on the preview show comment that,
you know,
we don't spend any time on
Atlanta and we're disrespecting in Atlanta.
Like the breakdown was Seattle-centric because I think we were on to something here.
Seattle was going to at the very least compete in this game.
And for a team that was coming off a three-game skid and, you know, the Falcons who have
been surging, this is the NFL.
Sometimes it happens this way where it makes no sense.
But Seattle comes to Atlanta and beats the pants off these guys.
And this thing is a big, big kind of like affirming win for Mike McDonald,
affirming win for Gino, affirming win for the Seahawks.
knowing that like, hey, maybe what we have is not a fluke.
And like maybe we can play good football deep into the season this year
because over the last couple weeks,
we've been grappling with the fact that they had only beaten the Patriots
and like the Broncos, right?
No offense.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
As far as like, how else do I say that?
You know?
And then they get rolled by the lions and they get rolled by the Niners
and you go down to Atlanta,
another team who deserves a lot of credit for what they've done so far this year.
but I think the Falcons are good
Chris. They are a good team. Even watching
the game, I think they're good. They're good team.
They couldn't really, I mean, the end
of the game was very bad for the Falcons,
but like their run game is still good
and they have good pieces. Like,
if they can protect the ball
and run the ball well, it's going to
set everything up for them. I still think that the
Falcons could get a wild card spot, and I think that
they're going to be dangerous in the NFC South.
But they can't rush the pass.
You know what? That's the thing
that worries me about the Falcons. They can't rush
the pastor.
Brady, Jared.
But yeah, I mean.
You know what worries me?
What?
The same thing that it is in New York also.
Yeah.
It's just that Kurt and Aaron Rogers, they came off a major injury.
And it's getting longer into the season.
Yes, this recovery and you guys are back so fast.
Like, yeah, that looks cool for fans and from the outside looking in.
But realistically, like, we don't know, like, how much they have to do even to get ready for practice,
for whatever it is to get ready to play on the field.
And I just think Aaron Rogers isn't moving the same.
And Kirk Cousins are not moving the same.
And the more we get into the season,
it's going to, I feel like they're going to slow down a little bit more.
I think you might be right.
But I think what's really big about this game that we haven't mentioned yet is like,
these are two teams that could be buying for a wild card spot.
And they just played each other akin to what happened Sunday night with the Jets and the
Steelers, like two teams that could be at the very end of the season competing for the same
spot and it could come down to a head to head. And so this is a huge deal for Seattle.
I think the problem is good. I actually, but no, no, Nate, to your credit, like this was more of a game
than I think kind of the score indicates 3414, but the Seahawks really buried it with that
fumble return for a touchdown. And if Kirk is a little more mobile, a little more comfortable
outside of the pocket. I think he burns that ball, gets it away. But he's not a fumble. He's not. Exactly. No offense. And that's
the problem. And Seattle before the half, to your point, Bo, stealing a touchdown. I mean, there's nothing
more aggressive that I saw on Sunday than taking that shot before that. I mean, like, the 31 yard line and they're like,
fuck it. All right, we'll go get the touchdown. And then obviously the Maffa sacks. So there's a lot of
ways that if you're Atlanta, you could say, hey, we could have been in this game. But I just,
I think Atlanta is a good team, but an imperfect team.
And this is what we get into when we talk about teams.
Like, are we taking something away unfairly?
If I call a team a good team, do I mean they're a contender?
I don't mean that about Atlanta.
What I mean is they're a good team.
Yeah, I don't necessarily think they need Kirk to be super mobile to be successful
because I really like their run game.
I love their running backs.
If they can just get them going, then they can set up all the play action stuff with Kirk.
He doesn't have to, like, escape the pocket.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
The real problem for me for the Falcons is that their own line has been banged up.
I think if they can get their guys healthy, then that kind of solves those.
No question.
Their run game will thrive and then their play action pass game will build off that.
And maybe that's maybe the AJ Terrell thing.
That's just a bad matchup for him because DK ate yesterday.
And I don't know what the deal is with DK injury.
He got carded off, but he looked like he wasn't concerned.
I don't want to read too much in his body language.
I'm hoping it's not like something big because they have.
absolutely need him.
Mike,
he might be a robot.
McDonald didn't offer any timeline on his,
on his injuries return.
And so hopefully we'll see some,
some good news.
Get that man some candy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Get him some candy.
That usually works.
What games next?
Buffalo beat Tennessee,
34 to 10, 34 straight points.
It's a couple times the bills have started
slow at home this year.
You know, they got,
they got jumped out
on by Arizona early in the game 17 to 3.
It couldn't get the offense going.
And it kind of seemed like the same thing early on.
And then the second half, it just was like a wave.
I mean, they just rolled him over in the second half.
And I think the Coleman thing, having a big day with Cooper,
there's no coincidence there.
That helps.
And you think about the way this team can attract coverage in the middle
of field via Kincaid and that sort of thing,
like you're going to have more opportunities outside.
So Coleman, hopefully more of the same for him.
and I thought it was hilarious,
seeing Cooper getting his first touchdown
having to look over at Keon Coleman.
Yeah.
I thought it was,
I thought that was not hilarious.
I thought that was awesome.
Like,
shout out to the,
shout out to the rook to help out a vet who just got there.
He gave him one of these.
But whatever he gave him,
like,
but like,
think about it,
he could have gave him palms up.
No,
realistically,
like,
he could have gave him palms up and he didn't
and end up being a touchdown.
Can you guys?
There have been times.
your buddy like dude sometimes you're on the field as a white nose guard you're so tired
all my buddies are asking me the fucking play and before every stab and sometimes i'll just turn
them in my sense back shut the fuck up so for him just be like see no question you see how some
teammates are imagine if keon cold him it's still it's shut the fuck up look come on go back
if it would have been you in there ask me for the play every every rap i'd been like look what does he
say look at look at his hand palms up i don't know he
He just gives the most half-hearted go straight.
But the hilarious thing about it to me is like you get here, you try, like you're
about to catch your first touchdown pass, which by the way, Cooper, this fits his personality
so much.
Watch him.
He's like, he doesn't, he doesn't dab anybody up.
I'm just at work.
He's like, yep, good job, good job.
I don't say a word.
I just go for a thousand yards every season.
But you get to a-
Remember when we interviewed Harrison Smith and he was, we asked him about guys in the NFL.
He has a lot of respect for, especially over the middle.
he brought up Amari Cooper like pretty early in that conversation and said like he's a guy who is not like who needs to get more respect because he's really good. So like he's going to be huge for the bill.
I asked Darius Slay who the most underrated receiver in the league was and Cooper's gone to a bunch of bowls and that sort of thing and he's gotten the accolades. But he said Amari Cooper. And I think the funny thing about that play is not Keon's reaction. It's the fact that it's Keon you have to ask. Yes. And you know, it's this guy that's famous for.
being hilarious and a bit of a space cowboy.
Look at this,
what is this?
Booking.com.
This is the best ad on TV.
Booking.com.
I want to go into neither water.
Hi, I'm working rider receiver, Keon O'Colme.
Now I'm reinforcing how simple it is to get.
Thank you.
Now I'm reinforcing how simple it is to get travel war.
Liberty Bibbity.
It's so shitty.
It's so good.
This is my favorite.
more the ambiance.
He does the barrel roll to the bad dude.
I still don't know.
I can't decide what I like more.
The ambiance or the decor.
On all sorts of things.
On all sorts of things.
That is so awesome.
It's a great.
It's a great nod to Marshawn Lynch in Applebee's.
Because that's the, that's Marshaun Lynch walked in.
He's like, I can't decide which I like more.
The ambiance of the decor.
That's so funny.
That's so funny.
It's so great.
It seemed like they had a solid script written for it.
Yeah.
And then they were just like, oh, wait a minute.
This will be way better if we just take every single, like the best pieces of the singing.
Whoever produced this is like a coach that's like, I'm going to fit my scheme to fit the talent of the player.
Yeah.
You know, I have a script, but like, you know, let's let this guy cook.
Let him cook.
You know what I'm saying?
Um, I thought that was a, just a gutsy win by Buffalo and, you know, Alan, quiet 300 yards, two touchdowns.
QB2.
First, Coleman, first 100-yard receiver for the...
Grayne 1, Sprane, MCL, and will now be considered week-to-week.
Oh, no.
D-K. Metcalf.
Not good for Seattle.
D-K. Metcalfe.
Grade 1.
It could be worse.
Yeah.
Buffalo.
At the teams that played, Buffalo is about to be extra dangerous with Amari Cooper.
Yeah.
Yeah, no question.
Like, I feel like they're only two.
team this past weekend at like, you could be like, oh, they got better. Oh, for real.
Like, they got better. Oh, they did. Like, they got better. It's just evident. Like,
even when wait until Milano and them get back. Oh, that's what I'm saying. Yeah. It's the middle
year guys are hurt on teams, but just thinking about the end of the year, if all teams get the guy,
their core guys back and playing, like, still. Oh, Amari Cooper. Because I'll tell you what they
do have. They got Josh. Yeah. They got Josh. I know there's a lot of people hate hearing it over and over
gang because it might bother you but rich eisen rich eisen talking about no josh i'm the only one that was
relieved and also like kind of disappointed and not see will levis plus well he was he was injured he was
injured oh i know i mean it's like i'm like i'm like i'm like happy to not have to watch him out
there but also like kind of sad for the memes but it doesn't matter you see his commercials every other
break with him doing a full split
on some mayonnaise bottles.
I know.
We were sitting there
with somebody yesterday
and it was Chris Allen
our boy Chris and he was like
the Mayo man commercial came on
he's doing a split he goes
I wish I could do that
that probably would feel so fucking good
and it probably would
to be able to do that
I don't is that Leviss that's not Levis doing that's like a body double right?
No I think he can do a split like that
yeah why not?
I do it
I don't think, yeah, I don't think the agents.
Why is that hate?
How is that hate?
You guys don't know if he could do a split or not?
That's reality, bro.
There is no fucking chance.
Will Levis is doing a fucking split for a fucking mayonnaise commercial, dude.
No.
No, but the question is, do you think you can do a split in real life just in general?
No.
No.
I don't know, guys.
I mean, that guy is the top level athlete.
Do you think I could do a split?
He's not a top of athlete.
you practice for it. You think? I think if you practice for it, you, you, you may be, you may be,
do you want to see how close you are? No, not at all. Definitely not in jeans. I'm going to do it. I'm
going to do it while we do this Washington Carolina. Hey, yo, stop asking me questions like that.
Can't ask you a question? Yesterday you kept asking me if I could touch my toes. And today,
you're asking if I think you could do a split or not, bro. Like, get your mind out of the gutter.
Give me the context of me asking if you could touch your toes. It was after the commercial.
Exactly.
We were talking about flexibility.
What another dude.
Don't ask me how flexible are.
I can't ask you how flexible you are
because you think I'm trying to have sex with you
or something.
What's going on here?
I don't know, man.
Is that what it is?
We don't have an HR, so.
Yeah, we do.
It's me.
Yeah, Bo's self-proclaimed head of HR.
He's head of HR.
You got a fucking problem?
You know who can do a split?
Christian Wilkins, bro.
Do you remember when he was at Clemson
and he was like doing like,
after the game he did like some dance and then like
landed in a split and we were like, whoa
you dog. Hey yo! I know he did the cue dog but
but for somebody like me I was like yeah but to finish with the split
I was like man so to your point
some people are more flexible than others yeah I can do a split
facts I bet you can you got those again
I don't care if you guys can do splits or not
all right
aden daniels
yeah
to week with a ribs injury
yeah he is
he is and we might not get
the rookie bowl
like because they might have to just be smart
and rest him when he came back on the field
in street clothes and was just like
like it feels like
the commanders fans are in on this
inside joke and the rest of the country
doesn't get to like play
but they got this awesome thing right now
where it's like when he
walked back on that field and he was like okay
and they were just curb stomping
the Panthers and there's rebar falling on people and fucking wires there was a wire that fell on
somebody last night if they make the playoffs somebody's going to die in we still got to we have to
go no we have to go it's turned into a final destination though you own a content company bro i understand
but ever go to that still again honestly honestly seriously they should they you should be you should
have to sign a waiver before you walk in the stadium yeah should be condemned
Honestly, the stadium should be condemned, for real.
And then if that happens, then what?
Then what?
Play it in a field somewhere, but like, do not.
I mean, that stadium is falling apart.
If there's a playoff game,
they couldn't handle a Dante Fowler pick six against the Panthers.
That stadium couldn't handle that.
You'd be like in the beginning of Batman or the Dark Night Rises
where like they just blow up.
Oh, it just split.
That's what I think might happen.
It might be a Bain situation.
Yeah.
It's an I am legend looking ass stadium.
Seriously.
Jaden Daniels to Terry McLaurin for 60-yard bomb.
Yeah.
The whole stadium's gone.
And a giant single opens up on.
The two teams are in expansion draft mode.
Damn, bro.
Because that stadium just imploded.
Anyways.
Oh, also.
Also, he should sit out this week because of,
You see that damn fan who posted on Reddit saying that he was there when Alex Smith got hurt.
And then he was at the game also when RG3 got hurt.
And then he informed everyone, I will be at the game next week.
Yeah, but there were so many people that were at all those games.
You know what I mean?
That's the problem with cherry pick statistics.
But if you only go to a couple of games a year, just like buying tickets randomly.
You think this guy's like the Grim Reaper?
I mean, if he feels, I mean, if you only go once in a while, you probably remember things like that.
that damn i went to this game and the main quarterback got hurt joshua i can't say your last name i'm so
sorry c mc msko commander stadium got to put one of those you may be entitled compensation
commercials no question it's like mesothemia mesothema in that stadium
backlaces when they enter the stadium can i just can we turn our can we turn the first off
cliff kingsbury is doing a really good job because margots mariotta was out there dealing too
It also calls into question, like, anything that happens against the Panthers, maybe we shouldn't take too much from it.
There's a couple teams that probably are looking at that game yesterday in saying, damn, I was kind of basing some realities off of what I saw against the Saints early in the season.
You're like, oh, what a win.
You know, and it's like the Panthers.
So I decided to get on Panthers Reddit just to check the temperature.
I want to shout those good people out, the people that post about that are part of online communities centering around.
around the Carolina Panthers.
Like, David Tepper has y'all by the balls, man.
It sucks.
I am sorry.
Mr. Moose on Panthers,
Panthers Reddit.
This is a direct quote.
I got laid off a month ago,
and I'm looking for a job.
Watching the Panthers game each week
means the first day of each week
starts off so bad
that everything else happening during the week
is instantly better by comparison.
Thanks, Panthers.
Talk about finding a bright side.
And this one from Post Rocker,
this is my favorite post.
I didn't read the reply.
is it considered BDSM if my girl wears Panthers gear while we smash?
Sadistic, bro.
It is sadistic to root for this team.
I know a lot of y'all don't have a choice.
I grew up a Panthers fan.
Hey, if you'd like to do a couple rushes,
their average time to pressure, 2.92 seconds.
Oh, bro, I could eat.
That is a long time.
I could eat.
Honestly.
Honestly, we got a few rushers in here.
I would swear off masturbation to go play for the Panthers.
We should, on Friday, let's have me.
Remember that whole Canales thing?
We'll call on Friday.
Do you remember the Canales thing?
Do you know what I'm referencing?
Bo, do you know what I'm referencing?
Yeah, he stopped jerking off.
Yeah.
Who's it?
And wrote a book about it.
Dave Canales.
Oh, what coach is that again?
If I don't have to practice, I would stop doing that to go play for the Panthers.
I would swear it off.
I mean, he's probably pissed.
If you can get there in 2.8 seconds.
I can get there in 2.8 seconds.
If you can get there in 2.8 seconds, I can get there, all right.
I hope an Al's jerking off now.
He needs something, goodness, life.
Well, listen, this defense is tracking at a historical rate.
Points per game, historically lines 2,020, 32 points per game, given up.
81 Colts 33 points per game.
The Panthers are at almost 35 points per game.
It should be a yard sale, but there's no items.
You know what I mean?
I'm not trying to be, it's not hate.
Seriously, I went through it today.
And I was like, okay, we're going to do a Panthers yard sale thing.
It's just a yard with J.C. Horn sitting in a chair.
He's too young, one prize item.
There's one item.
So anyways, the Panthers are so bad they ruined the Daniels Williams Bowl.
and and tax sale no items and the fact the fact bow and i'll i'll give you the floor in a second but the fact
that the NFL is sending the panthers and the giants to play in munich makes me think that we're
not over world war like is it is it is it an act of war to send these two teams over to your home
country and make you watch this shit that is unbelievable that that is an international game
it's probably better that's played on foreign soul
soil. What were you going to say, Bo?
I just wanted to know what you thought about
Jane Daniel's mom tweeting out that he's alright.
What did she say he's fine? I love that.
I love having family members with Twitters
because you get the scoop. You don't have to give it to
Schefter. The mom just reports it. Eat your heart out,
Shepter. Just live from the
family group chat straight to Twitter.
That stadium. I'm never going to that stadium.
You think I'm going to that stadium? I'm never going now.
A wire fell on those people.
No way.
I'd ride in a blimp above the stadium.
I'd ride in a Goodyear blimp above the stadium.
I'd parachute onto the field like one of those army guys
before I would sit in that stadium and take my life into my own hands.
Hey, commander, send tickets, I'll come.
Am I ruining your trip to Washington?
I mean, you're like, you're just curb stomping it right now.
Did you think there was a trip to Washington on the table for you?
I feel like if you were like,
I would love to go up there and see J.
You think they give us tickets?
Hell yeah,
they would give you tickets.
Are you crazy?
Okay.
Magic John,
you don't you think Magic Johnson's a Howie Long fan?
Like, absolutely.
That's Howie Long, son.
Howie Long was drafted in 1983 by the Raiders,
finished his career with 82 sacks.
Oh, exactly.
He probably knows all of it.
Yeah.
All right.
What's the next game?
Jags.
We're into the shit games here.
Um, one comment on the Jags here.
I cannot believe that Doug went for it up to scores in the fourth quarter when he could
have made it an 18 point game.
I love it.
I could not believe that he went for it and then it got stopped.
And that was the only way the Patriots get back in this game.
The first half of the game, the Drake May looked awesome.
He really did.
I mean, he really did.
And as the game went on, it's just things kind of became harder and that, you know, they got
more one dimensional as they got down and that sort of thing. But early in the game, I thought,
like for Patriots fans, you should be really excited about having this guy on your team. That's great.
Shout out to Chris Brockman. You know, I was tweeting him yesterday during the game. Great, great,
great thing to look forward to in the future. And I don't think like, honestly, and Jordan Reed,
who has been on the show, is really bright, knows college football in and out. This was a tweet
from him. Drake didn't have adequate
surroundings during his last year at UNC,
comforting chaos and uplifting his surroundings,
have carried over so far
showing this much with below average
weapons and protection is a promising sign.
He's right. And I think it's
interesting looking at college quarterbacks. A lot of them
do have really good setups.
Seeing the ones that have to kind of play
their group out of mediocrity,
relatively speaking, not saying
UNC's not a great program, but that group
he had as a senior was not
as good as some of these other lottery type
picks groups. And I do think it helps him coming into a situation like this where you're
throwing the guys like Jalen Polk who can't catch the ball and they're benching, you know,
by the way, they bench KJ. Osborne and he's posting pictures of an exchange with who might be his
agent and his agents telling him like, we're going to, we're going to fix this, all this stuff,
keep your head up, yada, yada, yada, the things they're doing you wrong. I do think Mayo's Patriots
are on a little bit of like a mutiny watch. I'm not saying the whole team.
at all but I am saying that some of the hard lines he's drawing in the sand and this is part of it
like it comes with the territory of making tough decisions and sitting guys down and trading judon
and you know like it's not everybody's not going to be happy and after the game for him to call a team
soft um as a player I would take issue with that but I also know that like him and and Antonio appears
two guys they're old players that's kind of the way they think yep and of course the next day he comes
back with the like I didn't call you a bitch saying you were being you're
Being a big.
Yeah.
You know, that was the thing.
He was like, you're not a soft team.
And then Bill Belichick comes on, you know, the McGriffie show today.
And he's saying it's the same players as last year.
And they were the number one run defense in the league.
And we couldn't move the ball on offense.
So what's going on?
I think the truth is somewhere in between.
You know, I think they have lost a couple guys.
So they are missing a couple guys that are key guys right now.
I don't think it's a soft team.
But I think that whatever they're doing, they're not playing good football.
I mean, like, and sometimes that can have been.
here like soft if you don't stop the run, but are you making business decisions?
I love Bill stirring the pot, knowing that he's going to coach against him next year.
Totally stirring the pot.
Just stirring the pot.
Totally starting the pot.
He's playing the long game.
Playing the long game.
I love it.
And I got to see the film to say for sure if they played soft.
They might have played soft.
You know, like, hey, when Bill was in the building, you know, there is a certain fear that
he strikes in people's hearts.
And if people...
Yeah, you have one bad rap.
That thing's going to be up on in a team meeting.
No, you're gone.
depending on who you are.
The entire organization.
So there's no booking your trip to Mekanos, right, Nate?
If Bill's your coach, you still got to like, you can book the trip, but you got to finish strong.
Yeah.
And I don't know if guys are just, you know, they're feeling so like this is just a cashed in year that he's not getting great effort in some spots or what.
I'll look at the All-22.
I can't say for sure.
But I do think it's a tough deal to call your team soft.
And, you know, I didn't hear the sound bite today, but it sounded like Mayo backtracked on that.
deal. So it's a little bit chaotic up there. But if you, if you keep the main thing, the main thing
as Patriots fans, first off, you haven't had to wait that long. Okay. So like, I don't feel bad.
And then second, like you have what looks like a franchise quarterback. I mean, as much as you can
call somebody to that after two starts, if we're looking at rookies, you know, I can't say for sure
if Bo Nix is going to be a guy for a long time in this league. But I can tell you that Jaden
Daniels looks like a guy. Caleb Williams looks like a guy. Caleb Williams looks like a guy.
guy. And Drake May in the little bit that I've seen of him looks like a guy. So for you to have to
wait like a few years between Brady leaving and 18 or whatever it was. And now that's not the
longest time in the world. And at least you have that guy. And I know it's hard to say,
hey, we're putting on another season because the team's not where it needs to be, but it's not a
great roster. It's just not. And even as good as the defense is, they are down a couple key guys.
And it's a new defensive coordinator, new coaching staff. So I'm going to take a
all this with a grain of salt and look at it on the bright side and say you got drake may he
looks like he can play that's one thing that if you whiff on that thing it sets you back as an
organization if you pick the wrong quarterback it set you back as an organization they don't appear
to have done that so it's a very good thing bright side indy i don't know if you're hearing it
indy miami another uh north a fc east battle excuse me uh well at miami and the a fc
There we go.
Sort of.
Sorry.
It's east of the Mississippi.
It is east of the,
another game played east of the Mississippi.
And nobody saw.
I would rather throw up in my own mouth and swallow it than watch this game.
Wow.
I mean, I'll hold your hair.
I hate it.
And I'd rather hold your hair while you do that than watch this game because it was just,
I mean, like from what I saw, it was ugly.
And I mean, this is the.
question that I think needs to get asked. And we touched on this briefly earlier when we were talking
about field. I have a feeling we've touched on it a bit. Yeah. Well, it's like it is, and you talked about
flacco and how great of an interview he was. Check that out on Greenlight YouTube. Nice. My dog.
Does playing Anthony Richardson put you in the best position to win football games down the stretch
if you're the Colts? Um, no, he doesn't. He doesn't. He does not. And that and, and now Indy has to
decide whether or not like the experience is more important than staying in the wildcar race
because you know next couple games and listen i got kind of i got kind of yelled at when i said
this out loud the first time this year which is like hey for where this team is right now jo's
the best quarterback for the team i agree um there is a world where anthony richardson next year
gets some of these mechanical issues fixed and comes out and just balls.
And maybe over the next month, he fixed some of these things because I think yesterday,
as bad as I would say, like, hey, Joe's the guy I would play.
I don't think it was really all Anthony Richardson's fault.
I think Stiking came out of the game and said, like, I kind of left him out to dry there.
It wasn't a lot of separation.
I didn't like the game plan that we gave the kid, yada, yada, yada.
and I think Noah Compton on Twitter,
look at this attribution right here,
shout at Noah Compton.
Richardson was pressured on a career high,
60% of dropbacks, not sacked.
12 of 18 pressures against Richardson were quick pressures.
This is the highest quick pressure rate of the season,
quick pressure being under 2.3 or whatever it is.
So the point is, not only that you got the head coach saying,
hey, we didn't get guys open, didn't like the game plan,
and then you also see that there was a lot of pressure on him.
And Miami's secondary is actually like they've got some decent guys back there.
They actually do a pretty good job in the past game.
So this was not going to be easy.
But the only reason the indie won this game is because Miami gave it to him.
It's two fumbles and a doink on a field goal.
And that game was so shitty, we can kind of summarize it in two, three sentences.
And I think more interesting is,
the conversation about Andy going forward as you as you put it and and I think they have to make a
decision only they know what's going on with Anthony and his mechanics and what he likes and doesn't like
but I can tell you sitting at home watching on the couch Joe Flacco gives this team a chance to
compete in the wild card race and I don't know that Anthony does I agree I think they understand
offensively what he is I mean they they had a lot of design quarterback run for him and that's good
and that's the strength I think you had like 60 yards rushing
Yeah.
And for a guy who's been injured, I don't think that's that good of an idea.
Like, he's been sitting out because he's been injured.
And then you make a game plan where you know he can't throw that well,
so you're going to run him.
And it's just, I don't know.
Like I said, they're not putting him in the best spot.
I don't feel like.
Maybe they want to get Jonathan Taylor back.
Jonathan Taylor's down, you know, so there's a lot going on.
Like, I don't know.
You get J.T. back.
He's still going to miss the easy stuff.
But then you get flat and you have flacco and JT.
Hey, I said it a lot.
I say it a lot, but it's not bad to put him in a taste of hill roll for a little bit.
If you guys are going to run the package with him running the ball a lot anyway,
put him in there,
then let Joe Flacco get you guys some yards and put you in a position to actually win game.
Dude, and I'm not trying to down the kid.
I like the kid.
I see it.
I see all the talent.
And I think he seems to be an awesome dude.
So I wish him nothing but the best.
I wish him, you know, franchise quarterback,
status. I want him to take over the league. It'd be so fun to see Anthony Richardson, the stuff we saw
in that Houston game on display every week. But you also got to hit the easy stuff. And some of the
problems he's had has been taken a little bit off, you know, like being a passer, not a thrower.
And, you know, he's thrown the fuck out of the ball. But, you know, some of these passes where you
got to put touch on the ball or the footwork or, you know, I'm not a former quarterback, obviously.
but listen to former quarterbacks talk about it.
You know, and, and, you know, if you, I think I'd be really interested to see what JTO Sullivan has to say about it,
because I think he's one of the best at breaking down quarterback play.
By the way, shout out to QB school.
I just joined the Patreon the other day.
Haven't been able to sit down and watch some of the paywall videos that he's got there,
but I love the free shit that I've consumed over the last year and a half kind of since I started discovering his stuff.
I would be interested to see like what does J.T. O. Sullivan have to say about a guy like that. Maybe we should get him on the show one of these days. But how do you fix the guy's mechanics as the season goes on? I don't know in the middle of a wild card race how you do that. I think they got to make some hard decisions here coming up because they have the Texans, which just got flexed. The Vikings next week just got flexed. They have the Texans, the Vikings, the bills the next three weeks. So you could look up in a month and be like, damn, we're out of it.
I don't think that that's necessarily what's going to happen, but they did just flex this Vikings game, I believe.
I read a Kevin Sefer tweet two minutes before we started the show.
And I think that game's, is it in Minnesota?
You think about what?
It's in Houston.
So it's in Houston?
No, it's in L.A.
You're talking about Thursday night?
Are they playing Thursday night?
No, they flexed the Vikings game.
They flexed the Vikings game.
When do they play the Vikings?
have I just lost my mind are they not playing the Vikings coming up the Vikings play Thursday night
I believe this week so they play this week holds are playing at Minnesota at Minnesota in two weeks
they flex that game they flex that game so I look at that Sunday night football exactly okay
NFL flexes the Colts versus the Vikings to Sunday night football week nine okay so that
another game that's even tougher when you think about it like going on the road in a
environment and having to have to squeak out of wind.
Joe Flacco just gives you the best chance right now.
Yeah.
No doubt.
Not hating on the kid.
No, yeah.
Yeah, not at all.
And we're standing up to hate.
Yeah, we're taking a timeout on hate.
In two minutes, I'm going to go back to hating everyone.
And then if I have two more timeouts, I'm going to call them at different times.
But when those timeouts are up, I'm going to go back to hating everybody.
that's what the NFL wants me to do
it's the dumbest fucking thing in the world
all right um rams rams
thank you antonio
yeah dude
hey go ravens yeah you know
um
I want to shout out Jared verse
he had nine pressures yesterday in the game
I watched them all
watched all his rushes
I'm really impressed with the guy
um I love I love the way he rushes
he's got good hands he loves stutter
bold that sort of thing you know so far it hasn't been a deal where he's finished a lot of these plays
but that comes with time and uh i would just say jared verse like hey is a guy that my first two years
got close a lot like those numbers are coming like he is just he is a he is a power rusher and
somebody who's motor doesn't stop and uh i think that's a a fun young rush group fisk won some rushes
uh i like the young guy um you know they are Kobe turner
they are
they're a fun group so
like this was probably the worst
game to watch on the board I would have to
imagine I went back and watched
the all 22 to watch the rushers
but for somebody to watch the entire game
when's the biggest yard sale
coming up
and I feel for Antonio because I know that he won
jaden Daniels before the season so they knew which
quarterback to draft they just couldn't
get up and get them and like now
you know you think that it in O'Connell's hurt
for four to six weeks or something with a finger or hand
or some broken thumb and then and then you know you got to go back to minch you so
for the Raiders Tom Brady is now in the building it's going to be interesting to see how
he affects uh how they move no I mean like they're going to ask him his opinion you know
they're going to ask him should we should we that's fire for them to consult like he can
no it's pretty awesome yeah be like hey guys he looks like he looks like
like he's good but ah but also like building your program yeah like i said earlier tom's a better
gm than erin like tom really understands team building you know he he he's been in new england
he did it in in in uh in Tampa for that short stent I think like from a standpoint of like
constructing a roster if there's ever a conversation if Antonio's not the guy in a year or two
you know which sucks because like it's not like he's really set up
for success here. Hey, the first thing
to Lesco did is they went out and got
Brock Bowers, who to me looks like
a, he's been playing great. A Raider
for life, hopefully. You got a couple guys.
So, it's not like you haven't done good things,
but when there is a time to make a
decision, if that's the case, I think Tom Brady
weighing in on, like, who the coach is, being
in there in those meetings, or at the end of the season, like, if
Antonio Pierce is the guy, you know, like,
what do we need to do to take the next step?
I think it would help to have Tom Brady in the building.
I think it was a really good move having him in that ownership group.
I mean, to see the way they welcomed them, I think.
Yeah, they had a whole spread.
It's so crazy.
They had like fucking hors d'oeuvres and shit.
But for right now, they're cooked.
Yeah, they're cooked right now.
Yeah.
They're cooked.
For sure.
Pride.
But, I mean, like, you have to start looking at Carolina, Cleveland, Tennessee, the Jets, New Orleans, the Giants, all one or two team win teams who probably won a quarterback at the end of the season.
And there's going to be a lot of people like there are every year.
But if you're the Raiders, you cannot go into next season without a quarterback.
They need two quarterbacks.
It's just been too long.
To me, I mean, Derek Carr was there a couple years ago, but it does feel like this team.
I saw a sign Raiders rebuilding since 2003.
Like, it just feels that way.
And the league is better off if they're good.
And I'd really love to see them turn the corner eventually, but this is in the year.
Moments time.
Ben MGM moments.
You want to hear from.
Do it, do it, do it.
The fellas over at BetMGM.
Okay, as we head to our BetMGM moments, thanks to BetMGM and all you football fans,

your bet, right?
Wrong.
With BetMGM's second chance promotion, you'll get your stake back if your first touchdown
score or score second.

i was like i'm gonna keep i'm gonna keep ripping it doing it best flight
Best flight, the Detroit Lions, in my opinion.
It's a short flight.
You got a big win.
Last week on the flight home, you were, that's two weeks in a row.
Road Warriors going in Dallas, going into Minnesota, hostile environment.
This time you're not mourning the loss of your best defensive player.
You can actually enjoy the flight home.
Walking your trap, take over your trap.
Walking your trap, take over your trap.
Best flight, going to Amari Cooper to Buffalo.
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Just getting out of there.
Just get out.
Just getting out of there.
And just in time.
Just in time for a guy like that.
Imagine all the questions they'd be asking him right now.
And he's a guy who barely wants to talk, just wants to play football.
Oh, bro.
He's averted the whole thing.
And then it's amazing.
You're in Buffalo.
I have a feeling he would have had the same answer as us on the Deshaun thing.
Yeah.
It would have been like, uh, uh, yeah, exactly.
Like, let's talk about football.
I just want to win.
Right?
It's not going to happen here.
Let me run my route for you.
Yeah.
What's the best flight,
Best flights

I'm getting my ass beat by the Steelers
getting on a flight
I'm getting my ass beat by the steel.
Bro, it's Groundhog Day for this guy.
It's groundhog day.
That's hilarious.
It's like a glitch in the Matrix, taking off when Josh McCown landed in St. Louis.
And they were like, you're not in St. Louis?
What do you mean?
I'm in St. Louis.
You remember that whole thing.
I'm not going to go into any more detail.
It's the same thing.
It's like, wait, I landed in fucking Las Vegas again.
Same thing.
Worst flight.
How many points to Vegas score this week?
15 score the same amount of points as the jets that's the the symmetry of his transaction is incredible incredible
mental illness you know went there you think he has a mental illness yeah like it's just like you don't
want to win doctor facts you don't want to what kind of syndrome is that when you have a best friend that like convinces you
to do bad things.
Stockholm?
Stockholm?
Do you think it's Stockholm?
Yes.
Because he didn't,
because Aaron doesn't want him to win either.
What is Stockholm syndrome?
It's just like when you fall in love with your capture, your cap.
Yeah.
And that's how he got out of that situation before.
He left Green Bay.
That's interesting.
And he's going back to,
I'm going to let you cook.
Cycle of abuse name.
Break the cycle.
It's just,
oh, man.
That's interesting.
And Stockholm syndrome.
That's,
and Rogers is like,
yo,
he's going to go somewhere.
You can't go somewhere and win without me.
Come here.
What went here?
Cap.
Worst flight is going to the Texans, leaving Green Bay, back to Texas with an angry Stefan Diggs.
I don't think it, I think you're trying to make Stefan Diggs into somebody he's not.
No, I just think that he was angry.
You think he's just from the start of that game, all the way to the finish.
So what makes you think that he's not angry on that flight?
growing like the grapes and shit like you know like you know the little the food that they give
you he's just wrecking they put toilet paper in the fucking in the in the in the commode there
I just think potentially he's a type of teammate to be walking up and down the aisle or aisle or being
pissed and being like yeah and I got a bunch of bitches on my team didn't want to help me out
and blah blah I'm out there by myself before the game with all these guys around me like maybe
maybe Joe Mixon said that stuff
phone was misunderstood and now we have the evidence.
I love the leap of logic.
Suddenly he's like crashing the plane.
You know what I mean?
He said he's not the bigger guy.
He's never going to be the bigger guy.
When it comes to Jair, it doesn't mean he's going to like hijack a plane.
No, I don't think that.
This thing is this worst flight.
You don't want to deal with that when you're on the flight.
My buddy William Hayes used to throw grapes at people on the flight.
And sometimes he throw grapes at Wayne Hunter, who was the sky.
scariest guy on the planet and he blamed it on like Craig doll who was a little db and he'd come back
there that was i mean that's what it reminds me of is like just somebody you're saying he's just
a problem child on the flight that's what i'm imagining is um but what is it bo's worst flight oh boz uh i mean
this is basic when the patriots coming back from london your your your long-ass flight you got beat by
not a good jaggs team your head coach is calling you soft your jet lagged you're probably
constipated from all that food in the uk not a good flight that's a bad flight yeah bad one

That's a work of art.

I worked a long time
in a lot of school projects.
It's a red helmet with what I's stickers.

That was so funny, dude.
That was so good on Malik neighbors.
Such a good photo.
And BG's a shit-talking animal, so I know what he was saying.
I need to know what he was saying.
Yeah, that might be the fly on the wall.
Did you see the thing I posted above it?
I've been getting picks and mad with BG for like months, dude.
I've been saying they need to drop them back into coverage.
You know?
Hey, hey, what I'm neighbors.
You're kind of nice, but you never seen me coverage.
Ah!
Ah!
I'm going to kill you today, neighbors.
and knowing he's only going to get one shot.
Yeah.
Fly on the wall.
Fly on the wall.
I don't have one.
Fly on the wall.
I got a good one.
I would like to be a fly on the wall in the little ref huddle for the Texas game,
the Texas Georgia game after that PI call.
There's all the student section is throwing shit on the field,
throwing garbage.
It was like a four minute long timeout and the rest were huddling up.
then they reversed the call.
I want to know the conversation that was going on in that huddle.
I've never seen that.
I was stunned that they reversed that call.
I didn't watch.
They were probably talking about how to get out the stadium alive.
Stanford Steve.
I can't remember a situation like that before where they actually reversed such a big call.
First of all, it was a fucking terrible call.
So like, good job, Zeros for once.
But like, what were the conversations that were had in that huddle?
I've been dying to know.
I'd be dying to know too because I didn't even see it.
I miss that game.
Fly on the wall for Georgia kicked their ass, didn't they?
Fly on the wall for me is going to be a Mike Williams locker
when Aaron Rogers before the game had to probably go talk to him.
Like, hey, you're playing in his game tonight.
Sorry about what happened.
Like, I need you out there to go out there and catch these balls
or whatever bullshit that he probably said to him before that game.
I'm sure that he had to talk to him.
Yeah.
like at some point.
No question.
It's super weird too.
It's a super weird deal.
It's such a crazy deal.
That conversation would have been awkward.
But shout out to Mike,
because you got to still go out there and perform for other teams.
I might want to pick you up.
A fourth down.
After one of the best quarterbacks in the league tells every,
all the teams that you might have messed up a play.
So,
kudos to him.
But that's my fly on the wall.
What was said in that conversation?
We're going to a worst seat?
Best and worst, yep.
I got a worse seat for you.
Can you roll the tape on this guy?
Can you roll the tape on this guy at the Buffalo game who was eating salmon at his seat?
Whoever is sitting next to this guy paid good money.
That's like some shit Nate would do.
I swear.
This guy is unbelievable.
This is unbelievable.
It looks so good.
And I don't understand why you guys have problems with people eating, eating places that they're serving.
You, be mad at the stadium.
and why is this tape?
Bro, that's like he brought that salmon in his pocket.
No, that's home salmon, bro.
Is it?
Well, that's good too.
You know the Yankees?
You're allowed to bring in your own food.
If you're,
hey, shout out to that guy, man.
Hey,
if you're allowed to bring food into the stadium,
shout out to that guy.
Shout out to that guy.
I love smoked salmon, bro,
but smoke salmon is not for public consumption.
It's also not like a,
it's not a,
in front of your fridge,
you're private,
like Tony Supermonie.
Prano eating some gobboc.
Definitely not with your hands at a at a 1 p.m. game.
That guy probably high-fiving everyone around him too.
It's also I think it was temperate up there in Buffalo.
Like you don't eat salmon like that in a temperate climate like outside at a public event.
You just don't in my opinion.
I guess I'm crazy.
Yeah, maybe.
Worst seat is going to me my crib during Dodgers games because I just.
found out I have a neighbor who is a crazy Dodgers fanatic and since they've been winning
this past couple of weeks randomly when they play I've heard screaming banging and not until the other
night when I was actually just watching the game and realized the correlation of why he's going
crazy.
You thought it was sex?
No, I just didn't know.
Like I didn't know but now anytime there's a Dodgers game going on, I know he's going
ape shit.
I'm kind of happy for him.
I'm kind of happy for him because it's cool.
Tanner's happy for him.
Fuck the mats.
Yeah.
Right?
Fuck the mats.
We wanted a subway series.
Let's go jankies.
Jankies.
Nobody wanted a subway series,
but the people that live in New York.
Hey,
don't hate.
Is that Bo's worst seat?
Bo's worst seat.
You got that tweet for me, Cowboy?
Yep.
Worst seat.
Kyle Long at the era's
who are out of my aunt.
Brutal.
Imagine trying to impress your wife.
So excited.
And then someone is in your seat,
a rabid,
a rabid swiftly refusing to move.
Who refuses to move for Kyle long?
Can I give you a little background that I found out?
Like,
oh,
yeah.
What do you imagine these seats looking like?
I don't know.
Typical hard rock stadium little seats.
No,
no,
No, these were sweet tickets.
Let's go.
So these were people in a suite that wouldn't move.
So Kyle taking to Twitter thinking he's going to find some resolution with the hard rock stadium social team who's currently trying to figure out what the next Taylor Swift tweet is, they're going to be like, stop everything.
There's a guy in a suite who can't resolve this issue through the proper channels.
gonna go down there and take care of this, Kyle. And you know what? I wouldn't want to be on the wrong
end to Kate getting pissed off either. You know, she could snatch somebody up out of the seat.
But like, I would be pissed too, especially if it was a Taylor Swift concert. Do you know how hard
those tickets to come by? You know that, Bo. Oh, I know. Brother. I thought it was funny, though.
I was imagining him having some like, like, you know, seats down there. And I'm like, oh, that's
fucked up but he's up in the suite
All right?
Yeah, the scamming or
the scamming?
Kyle's got to just stand his big ass right in front of them for the whole show.
Yeah.
I wonder how they got those tickets.
Best seat,
Robert Sala.
A little revenge.
I mean, I'm not saying he's rude against his team.
He's got his buddies there.
He's got some people like, you know, at least it's not his fault.
You know, we thought, oh, Robert Sala is the problem.
That's what people tried to say.
he obviously is not the problem yeah best seat brownie james junior NBA about to be sitting on the
bench watching his dad play that's fire that's fire to be in the same team with your dad that's
pretty cool who's the goat yeah and you actually made the team and everyone talks shit I can't
believe he made the team I love it no I know make the team that's crazy been in he's been doing his thing
he has been doing his thing yeah I think he adds a lot to that team Matt you're the
NBA guy. How do you see the Brony
LeBron thing shaping up?
It's not a big man of nepotism, Chris.
You know, I just don't like people who have everything
handed to him. Yeah. He's not an NBA player. Not a fan of that person.
Yeah, I don't like that either. If only there were
somebody in this room who, uh, you know,
you could have played better in college, Beau.
It would have been a higher draft big, you know.
That's a funny joke because you were number two.
Yeah. I know somebody, one guy played better
to me, Jake Long.
has the same last name i know nepotism nepotism
fucking long no but honestly i am happy for uh lebron because you know as a dad it's like you know
i know it's a fire situation it's a cool situation you can say it's it's not it's not
you guys all just shit on it i didn't shit on it i didn't shit on it i didn't shit on it how did i
did i shit on it i said you said he somehow makes the team and i so it's a shock i'm surprised
Most 55th picks don't make the team.
Exactly.
It's a shock.
Amazing.
What's your best?
Guys, what's your best seat?
Go ahead.
Like, you guys are doing that funny.
I got a best seat.
My best seat is my lovely sister, Grace Allen,

they look like legit heavy botchy balls
and you know what like that's the thing
about trying to deliver whatever message
you were trying to deliver I didn't get the message
because you got these
unserious you got this unserious set of cans
but that is the reason why
it's just totally unsurious
that is the reason why it was easy for her to get on the field
but I guess there's no
I think she just ran right.
I saw her run right over the...
Like if it was like a dude,
I think it was the fact that she has those cannons like that.
Everyone's just like, oh, look at those canals.
No, I think she jumped onto the field.
I saw her jump like the security situation there is just...
And God bless her.
She is, I mean, she is definitely going to have back problems.
She gets a shout out.
Unserious set of cats.
It was just totally unserious.
set of cans like there there there is a point where it's enough enough cans i i got it you know
like i'm just not impressed like money can buy that you know what i'm saying that's too much and there
are some guys out there who are really into that yeah like unserious can guys a lot of guys
my shtel memorial is going to mark mr can't when nice cans go too far tonight on
They're not nice cans.
They're making a mockery of cans.
Those cans are making a mockery of other cans.
My STL is going to Marcus Marietta,
who just banked 200K because of claws in his contract.
Every game he plays over 60% of the snaps and you win.
200K bonus.
And he just did that the last game.
And if Jaden Daniels has to sit out for a few more games,
I hope he wins every single one.
It's about to be holiday time.
Nice bonuses right now is beautiful before Christmas.
That's right.
You know who I'm going to give my game ball to?
One of the best handful of quarterbacks on the planet, Jared Goff.
Indoor, right?
I didn't say that.
I said that on another show, but I didn't say that today.
He bawled out, and he deserves to be in the MVP race,
and he deserves a game ball.
You're good enough for Detroit.
You're good enough for Greenlight.
Jared Goff.
Great job.
Game ball for me.
Beanie Bishop, Sunday night football.
Played a great game.
I think he's an undrafted free agent rookie, which is sick.
Six tackles, one TFL, two interceptions.
One of them was nasty.
Oh, it's one of the best picks of the year.
A pair of PBEUs as well.
He bawled out.
It's a sick name, dude.
Beanie Bishop.
Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
My game ball is going to Andy Reed.
just finding the way to win
find a way dude
your team your quarterback's not playing the best right now
you got guys hurt
and we talk about all these other teams
with players hurt
like so what
Rashy rice got hurt
plug and play
and I just feel like
he deserves a game ball
he's a coach that
there's no excuses
and also too like finding the right
coaching staff
keeping the right staff
yeah keeping the right staff
to be able to do the same thing
that you do
which is plug and play
I have my system
let's get it done
you have your
system, get it done. And if we both get it done, we're going to want a lot of games.
There's a lot of getting it done. It's a lot of getting it done there. And that's what they've
been doing. Because if you look at Mahomes stats right now, he's having one of those old James
years. He picks six touchdowns. He has more picks than touchdown right now. Yeah. QB wins can be
a stat when you got Mahomes, but generally not. Generally not. You know, and, you know, I think
with that group of receivers outside, I think that's the thing, he made it work less.
year and we're like yeah that's just what he's gonna do always you know like if he has Andy
if Andy's stern and cooking it up for him I think him and Mahomes there they they
somebody said earlier that guy Joss Sol I think in the comments was like well if
Mahomes was on the you know if he was on the Jags we're never gonna have this if
my homes was on this year's Jags team the Jags would be pretty good on offense yeah they
would be they were sure Brian Thomas Evan Ingram
you know like fucking tank bigsby those guys like that offense is better i'm just giving you an
example of some of the offenses around the league that are having trouble getting going and part of that
is because of what you say the play caller yeah but also that quarterback uh is is not working with a lot
outside so um bo's drip king drip queen oh the drip queen new body suit Miami night one debuted i was
there actually a massive roar went up in the uh
audience. I didn't know what was going on. I was confused. My sister turned and shrieked in my face.
He's wearing a new rep bodysuit.
So he Swift, drip for the queen of the week.
debuted her new reputation era body suit. Personally, I'm a fan. I like the golden snakes. I think that's swaggy as fuck.
Good shit, Taylor. I also have another one if you got that one cute up cowboy.
Cooper, Cooper de jean. We need the right picture though. Which picture?
The team came out with a sick.
It was like a vintage era Brian Dawkins.
Yeah.
Oh, guy definitely wants to fuck Cooper to Gene, clearly.
Just talking about his appearance.
He must want to fuck him.
I liked his t-shirt, Christopher.
No, I'm being Nate.
I'm being Nate.
I'm with you.
It's a great t-shirt.
Anyway, it was a great t-shirt.
I think he paid homage to Doc with it.
You can look it up in your own time
because Cowboy is struggling.
to Google that.
I just found it.
Yeah, check it out.
Hold on.
Stick around for the last.
Also, if you want to see some T. Swift adjacent drip,
look no further than your boy's outfit from Miami Night 1.
I was kind of feeling myself, not going to lie to you, but you got...
The Allen family looks good.
With the jeans?
We went with double denim.
It was fun.
Yeah, you look cool.
Look great.
Canadian tuxedo.
You looked awesome, bro.
I haven't got a compliment from you in a while.
Don't take that the wrong way, but I thought it was a good outfit.
it. There you go, Bo.
See that tea? Man,
that's so Gen Z-Coded. I love it.
Let me see what it says. What does it say?
Is that Dawkins?
Brian Dawkins. Yeah.
You got to show up and play well, too, if you're going to wear a Brian Dawkins shirt into the stadium.
Personally, if it was me, Coop, I'm cutting that into a crop.
Just consider that next time.
That's actually probably 100% true.
What's Nate?
your viral moment.
That's viral moment.
I'm going with the two Alabama football teams,
cornerbacks doing the viral TikTok challenge.
Let me see your step back.
During a game, during a fourth down play.
Like one of the biggest plays of the game.
They were not involved with.
What is that?
They're just doing a step back,
like a fake basketball stepback.
that's a stupid TikTok
but it was actually a trend like years ago
but it's just something that they decided
to do uh they're gonna lose out
you want to know what happened
lose out do you think they got the first down
probably not no they did not that is so
asinine and now you're on this video
Nick Savin's rolling over in his
you know he's not dead but his grave
and I wonder if it's something where they were like
they're supposed to be decoys so they can do
they can do whatever they want but
that's just capping for them
and now the fact that they're just on video
doing this looking dumb whether they thought
it was going to be cool or fun
I hope you got you got your little TikTok moment you want it
dude TikTok is the worst
seriously I know we're on TikTok
but like worse no it's just the worst I learn a lot of
I learn a lot of good stuff on like dances
no like like every day like
stuff to help you and you know who's learned a lot about you
China
China okay and you just eating it up
Apple knows about
us.
China has the data to all your...
Better than China.
China.
You know?
And TikTok to me is just a...
I mean, look at what it's making people do.
That's clown show stuff.
Yeah, bro.
It's clout.
We talked about it.
Clout's the biggest drug in America right now.
Avoided at all costs.
Hands down.
You in the chat, please avoid clout.
I have seen clout drive people in the media world
over the last two weeks to do ridiculous things.
Insin.
Okay?
I've seen some ridiculous things.
in the past six months in the media.
Clout has taken over this country.
Clout.
It's the most dangerous drug in the world.
Easy.
Yeah.
Two games tonight.
Nate, you got a first touchdown score on that MGM.
Oh, I got a special one for everyone.
First touchdown score today.
It might be odd, but we're going with someone who currently has no stats for Ravens.
And we're going with a plus 8,000 bet with Patrick Ricard, first.
touchdown. He is the intricate part of their
offense. He doesn't get the ball.
But tonight, I feel like
is a good spot that he might get
the ball for the first touchdown of the game.
Help Lamar out.
And that's
what I'm going to go with. Let's go Pat Ricard.
Don't ask me how the game's going to go.
Because I know that I can't
win if I say the Buccaneers are going to keep it close.
But I think they might, Matt.
I hope they don't.
Close is fine. Like four points close.
28, 24 Ravens.
now see if you did just on money line
i know but you got bro a hundred k what's the first thing you're going to buy
i don't think i'd do anything different you just you just save it yeah that's so boring
all right but you got to come to work you win you still got to come to work i'll be here
okay good okay that's awesome all right chat we appreciate you facts
Bo, Nolan, Reed, the whole gang.
Thank you.

We're going to call Carolina and see if Chris can play for the Panthers.
I actually changed my line.
You don't want to play for the team.
We'll pick a different team this week.
Because they might say yes.
Yeah.
Hey, Cleveland, when you train.
We've been waiting on your call.
