Starting point is 00:00:00 It was amazing for those guys. Like, I just want to take a second to talk about Lane, man. That offensive line is the common thread between the two Super Bowls. Everything else has changed. You know, my lota, well, my lot of wasn't there. But like, well, it's even more point to like, I texted this to Lane last night. I said, hey man, you were the best offensive linemen on two Super Bowl team seven years apart. and on the field, period.
Starting point is 00:00:33 Welcome to the Greenlight podcast. Birds win. It's a big Eagles victory Monday, Super Bowl, the best of the victory Mondays. Chris, Bo, Macon, Nate, Nolan, Matt, Tanner, Cowboy, all run through it. We have a blast. We talk about the game. We talk our week in New Orleans.
Starting point is 00:00:56 We reminisce about the Super Bowl parade from the 2017 Eagles Super Bowl win. It's a great episode, a great way to end the same. season. Thanks for being here and we'll catch you soon with more great content. Loose like my bowels. What did you do? Oh man. Welcome to the show. Did you did the people at home just catch Nate? I said the shows. I was like, you know, let's keep it loose today. Ready break. Loose like my bowels. Man, the food was awesome though. It was all worth it. The first bit of business you do when you're back from New Orleans.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Yeah. And it was delayed. We don't need to go any further into that. Classier than that, guys. We have much better things to discuss. Welcome to the show. Special guests today in studio, making Gunner. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Clapping for himself over there. Well, I was worried there wasn't going to be enough clapping. So I wanted to contribute. I just want to say. it gets a little crowded when we're on trips with production and extra people around, but it was great having making it. It was awesome, dude. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:02:38 He hadn't been out of the, he hadn't been out of the city and six years. Well, on a plane. And look, and I feel like I helped making it and he doesn't know it yet, but I helped him get some steps in and potentially he got to see a little more New Orleans than he would have. Oh, the day you guys had to run to the Smirnoff thing? No, not even that. He was, we were staying at the same Airbnb and like. After the second day trying to get in the Uber anywhere there, it was just two.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Yeah, Ubers were impossible. It was impossible. But he has a fair point because I had to deal with it too. Walking everywhere down there, it was a sweat fest. You had to prepare for it. But leaving our Airbnb one day, he was waiting for an Uber. And I was like, dude, like, I would just walk. I'm about to walk it.
Starting point is 00:03:24 I would just walk. And he's like, no, I'm all right. But he said he ended up walking it. Well, he ended up having to walk it from. to our Smyranoff live show Saturday. Appreciate Smyranoff. That was a good time. And I got a picture of him walking through the streets of New Orleans in a tank top.
Starting point is 00:03:41 And I'm talking about a, you know, like a... An A shirt. A blank beater. I felt, I felt like he was my bodyguard. I was walking with us. I was like, look at make it. Protected in a way that I just didn't care for the first time in a long time. If anybody wanted to mess with us, they would be in for a problem.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Wouldn't they? Yeah, it did feel good. But I said to Ralph, I said, let's keep that in gin pop and not in like a sizzle reel. Yeah, no sizzle reel. I don't need people, everyone seeing that. So let me lay this out today. Like obviously you can hear it in my voice. We are in Nate for sure, got back.
Starting point is 00:04:15 When did you get back? I got it back yesterday at around 3 p.m. And then there's guys like last night we were doing a live hit. Check that out, live hit. If you want some like synthesized flage. football talking about 35 minutes my immediate reaction to the game that is up on youtube.com um but we're exhausted i mean like reed was in the the airport running the uh the show last night remotely he got on zoom and he has like a brick background and i heard delays and shit i'm like
Starting point is 00:04:49 where the fuck are you uh he was at charlottesville airport and i panned and thomas jefferson statue was right over the year yep i had to ask the because it was baggage claim yeah for my flight right when the stream was going on. So we did the stream and then I had to go find somebody to get the bags. Oh, dude, it was chaos, which was an amazing, it was smooth as all get out. I thought it was smooth as silk, but smooth as silk. So I just want to say this off the top, Reed, including you, and starting with Reed, the guys that have been here a long time, the guys that haven't been here a long time, we got a hell of a team. And what we just did, I don't think people realize what goes, goes into making all that content and i'm not saying hey like listen it's not like we're working
Starting point is 00:05:30 in a coal mine you know we're hanging out with vince wolf fork and barry sanders and we have an Airbnb with smoked meats and yety coolers and you know smearing off and alligator yeah alligators yeah alligators we pulled it right out of the pool it was all we had a pool but the guys are i mean there were nights where i'm going to bed or headed to my hotel three in the morning and dudes are still cutting up film so i want to shout out Aiden, Tanner, Matt, Cowboy, obviously, Nolan. Macon made the trip. Nate made the trip.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Butter King was out there in his element. There was something I heard this week, and we're going to get to the game in a second. Ralph, shout out to Ralph as well. And B. Nellie, don't forget. Yeah, who's an MVP. Our old friend Taylor made the trip. Taylor made the trip. We're a small team, but we became a big team this weekend.
Starting point is 00:06:22 And Jason. Can't forget about Jason. And Jason, yeah. And Brooke too. And Brooke. She coordinated the whole thing. Bruce. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:06:31 Yes. So here's the deal. These guys worked their asses off. We were taken to the brink in New Orleans. Tudes were taken to the brink. I was taken to the brink. I'm 39 years old. This is my like, umpteenth Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:06:48 It feels like now because even as a player, I'd go hang out and make some money. But as a content creator, man, I'm really proud of what you guys got done. And I know our listeners and our viewers are super psyched because not just the stuff we already did. We got a full Barry Sanders interview coming up. We got a full Vince Will Fork interview coming up. We got Drake May. We got all types of people that maybe didn't see a bunch of this week. And we're going to drop that stuff as time goes on.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Shall I read this ad read first before we get into the game? And we gloat a little bit. It's time for a message from BetMGM, the sports book Born in Vegas, a great NFL season has come to a close but that doesn't mean you should close your bet mgm app plenty of betting options to choose from like the NBA golf tennis uh like making or maybe some hockey making i'm sure you've found some like foreign basketball to bet on new customers sign up and get up to $1,500 payback in bonus bets if your first bet loses then check back for promotions like odds boosts no sweat bets and NBA and NHL second chance promos all from the sports book born in Vegas boy it is a lot more
Starting point is 00:08:00 explainable on this show why I can barely talk I'm gonna be on inside the NFL tomorrow and uh I'm gonna be like well coach I was fucked up all week um so and thank you wherever you are to the Washington commanders fan that gave me a a dart on the way home the last night who was I width that we ran into it was me and ralph walking down the street at four in the morning there's nobody out there anymore at all i'm looking for a lighter because i had a dart special occasion and um two guys on the street corner one wearing Detroit lines gear and one wearing commander's and i was like why are you guys friends you know how are y'all hanging out right now um but that's what the week is all about it's just football fans getting together you know no matter
Starting point is 00:08:51 who you are no matter who you're rooting for there were a lot of good times good conversations NFL players kind of you know I ran in Tori Holt the madden party on the way out like example like that seeing a guy that when I was a rookie treated me good legend in the game uh stop talking to him you know guys you played against seeing Kyle and endomicon sue dap up in the back of the Airbnb guys that used to battle it out sue was over hanging out we were doing up brother yeah what's up We saw a sketch. Let's talk about the game first before we get into the week. It was just an awesome week.
Starting point is 00:09:28 So I just want to say this. We'll 30,000 foot view and then we'll zoom in. This team now, the Eagles, have won two Super Bowls, what, seven, eight years apart? And that puts them in rare air. I mean, and to be in a Super Bowl in the middle of it, so now three in that span, two different quarterbacks in these two games. I went and looked at it last night. It's a hard stat to kind of put into context,
Starting point is 00:10:00 and it's a bit of a niche stat. But there's only a couple teams in the history of NFL to win two Super Bowls this closely together with two different quarterbacks. One of them being the Raiders with Ken Stabler and Plunkett at the turn of the 70s and the 80s. and then Montana and uh and Steve young and I can tell you this I don't know that Plunkett's a hall of famer right um is he a hall of famer Jim Plunkett I think hang no he's not
Starting point is 00:10:33 stableer is yeah stabler Hall of Famer so Montana and Young Hall of Famers I think and I heard Ryan Clark talk about this this morning and I thought it was a very interesting point like when you look at Eli Manning Eli Manning is known for winning the big game. Like that's kind of his claim to Canton. And we've heard a lot of people, myself included, argue that, hey, the Hall of Fame is what it is. It's about fame.
Starting point is 00:11:01 It's not necessarily a guy with the best career overall all the time. It's about guys that win championships. And Ryan said this. He said, well, Jalen's on pace. Now, when the pace is one of two championships, it's hard to extrapolate that there's going to be another. But he's not lying. I mean, if he were to win another one,
Starting point is 00:11:19 you know you could put him in that Eli conversation that where so far in his career there have been a couple ups and downs but on the biggest stage he has dominated outplayed Patrick Mahomes he's going to have an opportunity but the point remains Nick Foles Jalen Hertz two different quarterbacks three different teams getting to the Super Bowl over the course of seven or eight years and I said this to Howie when I saw him this week you know it's amazing what you've done because it's a couple different teams. It's hard to keep teams together and the way they've been able to fill in the gaps and kind of recycle and recreate themselves and It's nothing short of spectacular and to me it puts this program in rare air and I'm not being a homer in saying that Especially in the 2000s in modern-day football where free agency reigns player mobility It's harder to keep teams together. It's harder to keep them focused You don't get as much time and oh TAs and mini camp and in training camp, it's harder to reinstall, develop talent.
Starting point is 00:12:28 They've been able to do all that over this span. And I wanted to give a shout out to Howie Roseman, who had a hand in getting me there and changed my life. And he's changed a lot of people's lives and including them on these teams. And he's made the right choices. So we're going to talk about the players, but it's nothing short of sports. spectacular two different coaches a bunch of different coordinators over that span being able to find the winning formula by taking risks right and doing the thing that everybody says you can't do that
Starting point is 00:13:00 myself included when they drafted jalen hurts i mean not many people thought that it would bear fruit the way it has right um you talk about a guy in carson wens who had an MVP caliber season and he was still willing to make that move um you know the moves he's made in the draft the moves he's made in free agency. Hats off to Harry Roseman and in the program they built world champions again. So what's the biggest takeaway for you guys? I mean, Eagles are fucking good. Yeah. That's my takeaway. The Eagles are a fucking super deep, super talented roster, man. And they beat a team who's going for a three-pe like the chiefs are incredible. Their offense is really good, man, super efficient, really confident. They have great coaching. They have a great defense. And let's not be
Starting point is 00:13:50 shy about it man the birds beat the dog shit out of them so i feel like what you're saying testament to how we we're chopping it up with him at the new heights party on wednesday or whatever which feels like a month and a half ago um but yeah that's all you had to say i was just like how i feel you guys gonna win because you have such a deep roster and he's like yeah well i hope so and i'm like all right cool great analysis there but that's really what it boils down to for me and like eagles have won games differently all year this game was just a defense a bloodbath man. Like the way those guys were playing defense, it looked so fun.
Starting point is 00:14:25 It made me want to play again so badly. It made me want to play. It made me want to play that O line bow. And it made me want to play with those D.Bs behind me. That was unbelievable. Yeah. But even like other guys on special teams, sorry, I just want to finish this. I thought there's a really cool moment.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Even other guys on special teams. Like talk about the depth of this roster. Look at Trotter. He had a sick tackle on like, I think it was a, kickoff went crazy did you know his pops and celebration in the super bowl and everybody from the special teams flocked around him and kind of did the celebration with him and it's like just such a cool experience man such a testament to the depth this team like everyone was making plays uh yesterday so just they they we said it coming in best roster um yeah yeah you know and and and to your to your
Starting point is 00:15:14 point and i would put this roster against i mean find me a roster you think is better since 2000 It's an interesting conversation. So what I... Go ahead. Keep going. I just want to say it real quick. I asked BG at the media day that we went to, which again felt like a month ago, like, who's the better D-line? This one, you know, from this team or the unit that we had 2017 and 2018, he's like, ah, I got to give it to us, you know, like we went out and finished this thing.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Listen, man, fucking hand of God, this defensive line, this defensive front seven for the team, 2025 Super Bowl team is way fucking better than we were. Did you see that yesterday? I don't know about that. I think the team's way better. And this isn't me being prideful, but we had Fletcher Cox, we had a younger Brandon Graham,
Starting point is 00:16:02 we had depth like they have. I think Milton Williams is fantastic. I mean, you probably say he's a better number two tackle than anybody we had, no offense to anybody. No. You know, on third down.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I was the number two tackle. I was going to say. No, he wasn't. He wasn't. wasn't the third down guy you know i i'll just say this like a lot of defensive line in today's nfl is is third down and you know not only do we have pieces like bow that were huge luxuries on first and second down but we also had guys on third down the rest of the team like to me not it is not close i i i don't want to say that we'd have got blown out but i don't have enough
Starting point is 00:16:42 pride i mean i got a lot of pride but i'm a realist like a lot of people ask like how would this team matchup against that team. Well, number one, they got Sequan Barkley. That would have been a hard thing for us to deal with. I mean, we were very good at stopping the run, but a lot of that was because we made sure that we had leads in a lot of games and teams had to abandon the run. I think ultimately what it comes down to is this. You know, the Super Bowl was played. It really encapsulates the whole thing about this team. Spags had to make a choice. Take the defense out of it for a second. Look at the offense. Spags had to make a choice. He had to say, are we going to let Sequin beat us? Or are we going to take a gamble and say, hey, Jalen can't beat us? And he took the gamble and said, Jalen can't beat us. We're going to take away the middle of the field. His passing chart looked like a canyon. Okay. So there's dots out here. And you know, that's the thing he loves doing is throwing outside the numbers. Deep shots. He's good a deep ball throw outside of numbers as there is in the game. That was on full display early on that fourth down. We see it all the time.
Starting point is 00:17:48 And Spags just decided, hey, we're going to make the quarterback who at times this year didn't throw for 200 a game. You know, he wasn't the centerpiece. But the team having enough to do, you know, pick your poison. We're going to kill you. And I just was so impressed that like, you know, people leading up to the game, Sequin Barclay is the reason they're here. And he was. And he continued to have a huge role averaging under three yards of pop or whatever it was. Yeah, he finished up.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Blitz pick up on the dots and touchdown, the little things, but also just his role in like, it's an allocation of resources thing. We talked last night about having to defend different regions. Yeah, exactly. They make you defend every region of the field. And when you take one thing away, they can do the other thing.
Starting point is 00:18:37 And to allocate all those resources to Sake one, although he didn't have the game that was fitting of somebody who had the season he had, it was because they had to take them away. Right. And so that directly, leads to Jalen having the day he had and i'll say this about jalen i talked about it at length last night in the live show and i didn't want to talk too much about but what we saw in the locker
Starting point is 00:18:59 room until they won but what we saw in the nfc championship postgame was a team that was supremely confident it was like a party in there so confident so oh man we you know there was don hoolio people were having a good time and i just remember thinking fuck this team is confident and maybe they should be. But when I got to Jalen Hertz, who I don't know well, I'm not pretending to be his friend. I got a lot of respect for the guy,
Starting point is 00:19:27 but I've only met him like twice. He was walking through that locker room like a man on a mission and head down. It looked like he just won a preseason game. And I walked up to him and shook his hand and said, go finish it. And I'll never forget what he said.
Starting point is 00:19:43 And I said this last night and a lot of people's reaction was like, chills, man. he said it's already been written and such a classic jalen line though it's a classic jalen line but i just got goosebumps because that's the kind of resolve and leadership and faith and belief that the the quarterback of your team has to have and uh you might say well he's not mahomes or he's not josh allen it doesn't fucking matter and he just beat mahomes toe to toe outplayed him did it the last Super Bowl for much of the game, didn't get to cash it in. He cemented his legacy as a winner.
Starting point is 00:20:26 And that's really all that matters. And, you know, he was great with his legs. He was great late in the down where at times this year we said, hey, the longer the down goes on, he has made some mistakes, extending plays. He was under control. He took what they gave him. And he made beautiful throws, the back shoulder throws, the deep balls. using his legs in key situations.
Starting point is 00:20:49 They came out in the second half and you thought they're going to go boa constrictor and run the ball 30 times. They came out throwing. Yeah. It speaks to the faith they had in him. And so for him, congratulations, man.
Starting point is 00:21:04 And he's part of Philadelphia lore now. He earned his respect. One thing that stood out to me is after the game, BG when he was being interviewed, he was sitting right next to Sariani. and he goes, like jokingly, he goes, we had no victory Mondays this year, but he ultimately took care of us.
Starting point is 00:21:23 And hearing that, I feel like for Howie Roseman, for Siriani, like that's something that you maybe don't hear. Like guys usually get a few Victory Mondays here and there, but with a team with so many valuable rookies in the long run, I can just think how much those extra 17, 18, days throughout a season having those rookies have to be in there, be around guys, learning,
Starting point is 00:21:52 getting familiar with your teammates. And also, when you're a rookie and you get those Victory Mondays, realistically, like, you don't know how to use that time the right way to take care of your body or get, rather than think about it as, oh, I got a day off, let me try and go to Miami for a night or do something like that versus when you're forced to be in the facility and get in the cold tub and get treatment even if it's for two hours. It just forces you not to be able to get in trouble. And I think hearing that, I was just like, wow, that's like, that's interesting to hear at the end of the year. And I wonder if it's something that like other owners or coaches are like,
Starting point is 00:22:32 you know what? Like, fuck Victory Monday. Like, like, look at that. Oh, whoa, whoa. Wow. That's easy. Take it easy. Look out that team finished out this season. Because if you think about it, like really, like look how the Eagles finished out this season. Yeah. Like a team that was struggling to score in the first quarter. Like they just like belt to ass the last couple of games putting points up.
Starting point is 00:22:52 It's just like, wow. Here's another thing. And some of y'all are in this chat. Do you remember when I said no one's going to remember week 18 sitting Saquan Barkley? Oh, but the record, we got to have the record. Because what if we don't win the Super Bowl? Well, what this guy just did is set the postseason record for yards in the postseason from a running back.
Starting point is 00:23:15 And I'll take that 10 times out of 10 because that means you're playing in all the games. That means he's fresh. And that means so on and so forth. And no one could have said for sure, like if he played, would he have been healthy? But I kind of like the idea of him getting some rest rather than getting decapitated by 11 guys who are going to be loading the box and trying to beat up their old teammate in a game where everybody else is sitting. And so I just, he was fresh, to your point, I think Nick did a great job. I think I'm so happy for Nick.
Starting point is 00:23:44 He's one of the most hospitable down-to-earth people. I mean, you talk about in the NFC championship, I can share this now because. I was going to say, please. When we got out of that locker room, yeah, when we got out of locker room, Bo, I was like, remember, I was like, we cannot talk about this. Yeah. But fuck you, dude. We can talk about it now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Oh, baby. All right. So we're in there. We go back into his office. office. He's got his feet kicked up on the desk. Throws me a shot of fireball. He's got like three zins of, uh, three tins of, uh, three tins of fireball guy right in front of him. Just like empty fireball shooters all over. What jersey was he rocking too? It was so sick. Cool's a cucumber. He's like, oh, what's up, Chris? What's up, Bo? Like we, we played for him in the game.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Or we more like it's up guys. More like we were teammates. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He, he, he, he, he, he, He's got, hey, we fucking did it. Like, you want a shot of fireballs? Like, fuck yeah, coach. But he's got that thing about him, bro. Like, and that's what you, when you realize when you're around him is like, he feels like one of your teammates. And I love hearing him talk leading up to the game about, you know, his humility kind of shine through in some of those pre-super Bowl interviews where it's like, hey, I know I'm not your prototypical head coach. I know people don't look at me and say, hey, that's what a head coach looks like, what he acts like.
Starting point is 00:25:03 But the truth is, and maybe this is what he wouldn't say. ask his players. And every time we've asked the players, anytime we've had doubts about decisions he's made, outburst, exuberance, you know, walking out of Arrowhead Stadium
Starting point is 00:25:16 as he's growing as a coach and saying, I don't hear any Chiefs fans now. And we're all cringing. And then, you know, the Cleveland game when he's mugging up the fans. And,
Starting point is 00:25:26 you know, like there are times along this journey where people said, hey, you got to grow up a little bit. And I really think this year, he grew up a lot. I think when they went to the buy,
Starting point is 00:25:36 and maybe there's a fly on the wall. What were the conversations that him and Jalen Hertz had? Because I think they had to have some really hard conversations. And you talk about being on the heels of the AJ Brown J. Jalen supposed maybe the MVP of the season is Brandon Graham for exposing that stuff. And, you know, like whether it was true or not, whether it was exaggerated, there was an issue, right? And locker rooms have issues all the time. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:26:04 every week there's an issue in a locker room. Absolutely. But it's usually kept in-house, and sometimes the issues don't get any better. I thought Brandon Graham getting on that radio show and kind of spilling the beans at first, you're like, what are you doing, BG? But it forces you to work it out.
Starting point is 00:26:20 To work it out because there's no place to hide and it's going to be the first thing everybody's asked about and you want to be able to say at the podium next week, there's nothing wrong. And you want to be able to tell the truth. The only way that that happens is to have real, conversations. And so I thought they made the most of that by. And I think Nick's done a great job. To be, as my dad would say, a walk around coach, not a coordinator, not an offensive coordinator,
Starting point is 00:26:46 not a defensive coordinator. You have to instill a culture. You have to have some differentiating factor about you. And I think his communication, when I heard over and over this year talking to players, like what makes him great? He's a great communicator. And you and I know, and Bo knows this, being a communicator as a coach getting on the level of your players not bullshitting them you know appealing to their sensibilities that's what it's all about and i thought he was fantastic so you talk about defense i thought defensive line played great josh sweat who you know is one of the guys that he was a rookie when i was there um a guy and he'll tell you this i always saw the greatness in him i saw hit i saw his seriously i used to gas him up like man you're going to be
Starting point is 00:27:30 be all the time and and yeah i love sweaty and um you know for everything he's been through damn near getting his leg amputated in college with this catastrophic injury he should have been a top five pick that's how talented he is um to to get a multi-sac game in the super bowl milton williams who's made himself a lot of money jalen carter who doesn't have that one big signature play but he wrecked the game and he's like it's like davis had a great sack too Jordan davis had a sack everyone oh sweaty jay got Like everyone was playing. It was so great.
Starting point is 00:28:03 It's awesome. It was so great. Well, you see the development of Hunt over the playoffs, too. Yeah. It's like, dude, everyone was eating. Nolan Smith. It was ragged all in. Nolan Smith, who snapped Trey Smith's neck back on a pole.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Yeah. I mean, you know, those guys played really well. And on the other side, I'll say this. And this is part of the reason why I'm like, you know, Kansas City, and we talked about it before the game, somebody has to make Joe look like a guard out there, Tooney at left tackle. It just has to happen. And, you know, they kind of got away with it against Houston, who has a good pass rush,
Starting point is 00:28:39 because the rest of the team isn't as good. But when all 11 guys on defense are good, and you got a front like that, playing against the front like Kansas City's. And this is Kansas City's fatal flaw this year. Turned out to be. It was very reminiscent of the Tampa Super Bowl, where the pressure rate was like 55. Yep. And the pressures were in the 40s.
Starting point is 00:29:00 And people are saying, well, how is that possible and throw the ball a hundred times a game? That speaks to the fact there are multiple guys pressuring Mahomes in that game on every play. And they had Sue, JPP, they had Shaq Barrett. They're bigger names. They're probably better players over their career. But these guys in Philly are young.
Starting point is 00:29:16 You never know how this turns out. And I'll say this. When you look at that offensive line in retrospect, Tuny, Calliando, Jawan Taylor, who's been making mistakes for the better part of two years and been a liability. They kind of left the back door open and those guys kicked it in.
Starting point is 00:29:34 Yeah, I think it was a continuation of this theme you've talked about Chris about in the playoffs. It's more about your weaknesses than your strengths. Exactly. And the tackle play, it's been a wart for them for years now and they tried the Band-Aid fix, Joe Tunney, and all these guys in the Eagles past freshman. You guys mentioned them.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Jalick's Hunt, five pressures, Smith, five pressures, Milton, four, multiple guys and multiple pressures. Can I interrupt you real quick, no one? I want to give out a mention best seat has got to be Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, your free agents, you win the Super Bowl, and you have multiple sacks in the Super Bowl right before free agency. Like, you know, go enjoy the parade, enjoy, you know, the next three weeks and enjoy hitting free agency because they're going to have some very serious suitors out there. So those are my best seats, man. As someone who went into free agency after the Super Bowl, fucking good shit, boys.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Yeah, dude. Get that money, man. Get that money. It's hard to keep these teams together. And so like, you know, Bonn as well. Bonn. They're going to have. And Josh Sweat caused that pick.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Like Josh Swet really started the party, man. You know, that sack started the party. It was him. Then it was Hunt. And then on third down, he pressured again. And that's when you had the pick six, I believe. And that pick six changed the game, right? Like, make no mistake about it.
Starting point is 00:30:53 In the birthday pick six, bro. Unbelievable. The Super Bowl? Unbelievable. Like, so great. Like, that's as good as it gets. and you're 22 years old, come on. In the real time, who is it that's choosing the MVP, like, for the end of the game?
Starting point is 00:31:08 Like, I don't know. And I just wonder the team or the person how many times it may be, like, switched during the game. I think in the first half, if the half ended, it's Vic Fangio. But like, you can't give it to a coach. But that's what I'm saying, there was so many different guys at that point that had sacks, that had a bunch of pressures, a bunch of critical. place so I'm just like yo like how do you choose this right now? I know no one's really standing out everyone's playing amazing yes it's a panel of 16
Starting point is 00:31:37 football writers and they are counting for 80% of the vote and the fan vote is 20% the fans vote so so I just wonder for those 16 people if they're in there and they're just like if people like definitely sweaty jay yeah and then everyone's like no jailing hurts for sure or everyone's like Cooper dejean like what pick six in a super bowl like what they pass around a little ballot near the end of the game and then you have to submit it by the two minute two minute warning yeah oh that's tough yeah because you know somebody can make a big play in the last minute but in this game it was out of hand speaking of awards can i give out one i think we've talked about a lot of guys that play great for the eagles i don't think this dude has gotten mentioned yet but
Starting point is 00:32:19 jake elliott yeah battled through adversity this year man he wasn't you know his same consistent self that he's been in you know some of that is due to injury that's not reported i'll tell you that because I fucking love that guy and was talking to him about it and he's a fucking grinder. But he went four for four. I think he hit from like 50 yards, 46 yards. He played great, man. And then he had to re-kick that 150-yarder. There's some weird shit going on.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Yes, he went six for six. With the cadence. Yeah, exactly. There's some weird stuff going on with the cadence. I think Jake is now the most accurate kicker in the playoffs, which is exceptional. Like, he's such a good dude. He's a great athlete. He's a great player.
Starting point is 00:32:54 So I want to give him some love, SCL Memorial for me. and enjoy the parade, baby. I think for Jake. And to get two rings, he's one of the few guys. What is it? It's Lane, BG, Rick Levado, and Jake, right? Yeah. The two rings.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Awesome. Awesome. It's amazing for those guys. Like, I just want to take a second to talk about Lane, man. That offensive line is the common thread between the two Super Bowls. Everything else has changed. You know, my lota, well, my lot of wasn't there. but like well it's even more point to like i texted this to lane last night i said hey man you were the
Starting point is 00:33:37 best offensive linemen on two super bowl teams seven years apart and uh on the field period and there's an argument to be made and it's hard to even compare him and fletched they're both amazing players totally different sides of the ball the whole thing it's an argument being made that he was the best alignment on both those teams he was the best alignment on this team um unbelievable for him you know you talk about like who comes out of this game with their legacy impacted in a big way i know he's my friend but he's a hall of famer and um you know now you got the all pros the pro bowls you got two soup bowls and that fact should be considered in that conversation uh just a historic level of play from that guy and i think like when you can
Starting point is 00:34:24 erase the other team's best rusher and a lot of them play left end now in the NFL. It's a luxury that a lot of teams don't have. And Jeff Stoutland, another hidden MVP, you know, to be able to develop a guy like Hall of Famer, bro. Yeah. He's a Hall of Famer. To be able to develop.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Sorry to interrupt you. You go, keep going if you want. Dude, he's just so good. Like, look at the guys that they've had. Like, look at Mackay back then, who's entering free agency. So I was about to say. And how seamlessly he was able to shift, seamlessly he was able to shift to playing guard. and like all those guys love stout man because he is such a good coach he works his ass off but he just cares a lot about like he's the kind of guy who's going to stand up in the table for you even if you're like a second or third string guy and you know as a player you die for a coach like that yeah i mean you look at like he turned a rugby player into an all pro he turned mackay beckton into a big part of this group who by the way you talk about all the the the resiliency
Starting point is 00:35:27 team has like getting through a period where at this point spaggs's pressures are starting to work on third down you lose your guard for the better part i think the second quarter um you know the first fourth down of the game you hit the big ball to a j and it comes back and everybody's thinking here we go again with the whole thing and me as an analyst i'm like come on like not just because i want the eagles to win but i'm also like now we got to do this again like Luckily, as you could see, the Eagles got calls to. The chat would have been crazy. Oh, chat would have been crazy.
Starting point is 00:36:04 I'm just so glad the Eagles won at Fair and Square. We don't have to talk about any of that bullshit. But the way that those guys didn't blink in that situation, didn't blink after the interception, which to me could have been a real haunting play. You know, up seven, nothing in a game where you could see it. If they got a two-score lead, it was going to be totally different. It was a good arm punt, right?
Starting point is 00:36:25 because it gave defense a chance to have them backed up and get the ball back in good field position. But just every moment that it could have gone left, the team was too good. And I think it comes back to a thing we talked about pregame. I think we talked about it with Maddie P. Or maybe it was Malcolm. I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:36:46 But like don't let the team's logo beat you. The chiefs have done an amazing thing over the past three years and even further back. And I just want to say this, Chiefs fans who are gutting this thing out, so much respect for that program. So much respect for Mahomes. And as evidence by that seed he threw to fucking Xavier Worthy at the end of the game, he's not going anywhere. Okay? They got a lot of free agents to replace.
Starting point is 00:37:12 We went down the list last night. I'll get no one to read it in a second. But what they've done is nothing short of remarkable. And Chiefs fans, obviously, you know this. You shouldn't be discouraged. but this is the best team that they played in this run. And it showed. And I also don't think, and this is one of the reasons why this year,
Starting point is 00:37:32 relative to last year where I was so resolute about, hey, the Chiefs are going to win it, there are a lot of doubters, but they're going to win it. They know how to do this. They lost some pieces on defense. You could see that last night. And I think as much as they figured the passing game out as the year went on and getting Hollywood Brownback,
Starting point is 00:37:50 the offensive line caught off to him. So this was not the best chief's team. But I think this Eagles team could have probably hung with or beat the best chiefs team. And that's what's so amazing about. You talk about this program beating, you know, we talk about the Raiders winning within five, seven years with two different quarterbacks. You talk about the Niners. Look at the quarterbacks they beat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Prime Mahomes and, you know, Brady threw for 500 yards. So it makes it even more impressive. Read that list of free agents, if you will. Yeah, the guys will have up this offseason. Trey Smith, Nick Bolton, D. Hop, Justin Reed, Charles Menhue, Hollywood, Tershawin, who had a great season, Derek Nottie, Justin Watson, Juj, P. Rine, Kareem Hunt, Miko Hartman, Calli Hando, Nasi Johnson. My home's first text after the game to Tyreek Hill saying, hey, Big Head.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Hey, Big Head, you up. second text miles garrett yep no question no question i listen i just it's it's as elated as these guys are i talked about this last night i i went to pick up barbecue before the game which is now my soup bowl sunday it's way different than it was seven years ago how'd you do i did really yeah won the game right The guy at the counter was like, hey, who should I bet? I was like birds by a million. And he gave me my barbecue.
Starting point is 00:39:24 And I had, I just threw on my pregame playlist from Super Bowl. And I don't play it a lot because I kind of wanted to be a special thing. And I just let it run. And I was sitting in my truck and I had chills just thinking about like, you know how songs bring you back. The bus ride over the gravity of the pregame. Like you walk out on the field. You get your headphones on. There's international media.
Starting point is 00:39:47 there's two hours before the game it's like a convention in there it feels like you're at a global event and you know like the bus ride over you're like hey the night before my life is going to change what's it going to change like forever is it going to be a loss is it going to be a win like the flip sides of the coin are ridiculous and um for these guys their lives changed for the better for the chiefs you see what it's like on the other side you saw a guy crying on the sideline you hear the story about D'Andre Hopkins pregame where his dad who passed away before or around the time he was born. I think this is five months old. Five months old, like didn't know his dad, gave him a fur coat and said, hey, wear this at your wedding or a Super Bowl, whatever comes first. Pretty good foresight
Starting point is 00:40:35 by him. But you hear a story like that and you're like, it's a shame somebody has to win this game with a story like that. You know what I mean? Losing this game can be crushing. And these guys, walking through the tunnel before the game i got an image burnt into my brain of Travis kelsey with that boogie night suit and and uh patrick mahomes wearing a green suit midnight green midnight green and they just look so all business you you stand across from them you know for five minutes because they're doing the the moment of silence for the people who lost their lives in that truck attack those captains were face-to-face for probably five minutes and you're getting a good look at these guys that are going to
Starting point is 00:41:16 going to go down in history. And they didn't blink. And to me, that is, that's the hardest part leading up to a game like this, is like, don't let the logo beat you. And we had to go through it in 17 when we're playing the Patriots. These guys at the end of the day put their fucking pants on just like us. They happen to have the best quarterback of all time,
Starting point is 00:41:35 but all the other guys got to beat us too. And this is a prime example of that thing happening again, where it's like, this team didn't blink. And I'm so impressed with that. I give one more shout out to someone. You can give five if you want. Oh, I can do five. I'll start with Cam Juergens.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Turbo. Dude is playing through some serious, you know, he's playing with some pain and he's a tough guy, man. It's hard. It's hard to, you know, come back in the NFC championship game after not starting, clearly dealing with injury, grind that one out, and then you got a week, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:09 at the end of a very long, very physical season to get ready for the biggest game of your life. And he went out there in battle, man. I have so much respect for that dude. Fucking great guy. Huge front of the pod. Chris ran into him randomly wearing some of our merch at the team hotel, which I thought was pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:42:25 He was just a great guy. I met his mom at the championship game. Reminded me so much of my family. I want to give him some love, man. I'm super happy for that guy. He's a great player. Worked his fucking ass off and played through some serious shit. So shout out to Jergi.
Starting point is 00:42:39 But how fun is... Butter King Tough Guy of the Week Award. Tough guy the week award, Jurgie. Yeah. And, you know, like this time of year, everybody's hurting, man. You know, like, everybody's got something. You know what stood out to me? What?
Starting point is 00:42:50 After that push, they jammed up Chris Jones' neck. Chris Jones was on his elbow. Did you see that? They showed him on the sideline. Like, put him in the blue tent. Like, put him in the blue tent. Yo, I should not see you touching my star D-Tackles neck and him reacting like that. Right.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Like that was I was like holy I like that That's good television It was no It was great television If you're an Eagles fan But if I'm a Kansas City's fan That it might make me throw up
Starting point is 00:43:24 Like yeah That's the first quarter And then his knee was banged up late in the game And Yeah Listen Another thing we don't talk about Is some teams are so physical
Starting point is 00:43:33 Like and the difference Between playing a team That's physical And your average team is like It can feel like wave. And I'm pretty sure playing these guys last night. It just felt like a wave. You know, both those fronts, you know, the way those guys in the back end play. And, you know, they didn't play man a lot, but they did such a good job, closing windows, taking care of Travis Kelsey, little things like
Starting point is 00:44:01 the play I talked about with Nolan Smith folding Trace Smith back. If you go into a game and you tell your front, hey, listen, we're not blitzing. You're one-on-ones. You need to win. You're You need to make an impact. You need to help out your secondary. And they did it every single time. But you know what the nice thing is for a D-Line? Mahomes will give you the chances. He will.
Starting point is 00:44:23 It's like when we played Brady, he was like, we're getting the ball out. We're going to max up the whole thing. We're going to chip out. And it was one of those games where BG had to wait until his moment, right? Like until they absolutely had to do it. But you could tell because of the game script early,
Starting point is 00:44:38 it was going to be fun. It was going to happen. And Mahomes is a guy that will look for, and especially after the pick six, I felt like, and this is a fatal flaw of any great player, I felt like had they tackled Dijin at the 20 and maybe forced the field goal
Starting point is 00:44:54 in that point you're down 13-0-0 with the ball, chance to cut it to one score. It feels way different to go down 17-0-0, and it feels very different as a very prideful guy who wants the three, I got to get that back. I got to get it back right now. Like I got to. And playing the way they had to play wouldn't, it's just not going to work.
Starting point is 00:45:14 You know, with the offensive line they had and the front that the Eagles have. So I thought that the lasting image for me was, and I talked about this guy pregame a lot, Milton Williams. He came up big, but that strip sack was a thing of beauty and the prettiest thing for anybody not rooting for Kansas City was seeing. Jalen Carter hitting fucking Mahomes, like just folding him. And it was a penalty. Yeah, but at that point in the game, it was violent. It was just so violent. Is it still a penalty of the ball's out?
Starting point is 00:45:46 So it was, but they enforced it after the change of possession, which is a very interesting thing. I thought that was the Nolan's dunk. Was it for the dunk? The people on TV said they got it wrong. They got it wrong. It was for the dunk. What did he do? He dunked on the field goal pole.
Starting point is 00:46:03 He went to the crossbar. But how about the hops? How about the hops? I love it. Dude, I love that kid. He's a dog. He, you could see it.
Starting point is 00:46:13 It's another guy they found in the draft from like Louisiana Tech mid-round. Like they have, they have hit on all these guys, man. And a lot of people were upset that they didn't get Aline McNeil, man. They picked up Milton Williams. Who, who has been, who's been just as good, like as a rusher,
Starting point is 00:46:32 more disruptive, you know, like he's a name that you're going to have to learn pretty soon here. you know like when they were talking about warden last night who played well for kansas city and i like him you played real good they they were like mike panell played well too panell has showed up he showed up in that super bowl last year big time but they said on the broadcast like it's one of those things where he probably doesn't get enough credit because he plays next to chris jones and in my head i'm like well he might get some credit because he plays next to christ jones it's
Starting point is 00:47:02 kind of nice playing to guy like that i know what that's like playing next to fletcher cox okay um but with Milton it's truly he gets overshadowed you know like he's a he's a real player man yep and so excited to see yeah excited to see him get the bag he's gonna make like 19 to 22 heard it here first GM beau GM bow can I give a fly on the wall that I'm shocked hasn't been brought up by our dear old doctor fax yet go ahead fly on the wall I would love to have just been you know within within eyeball vision of Drake watching the halftime performance i just a lot would have loved to have seen do you feel like he won the meaner you know do you feel like he won drake because a lot of people are kind of like come on it didn't have to be about a a beef at
Starting point is 00:47:53 half time like or do you thought it was great because a lot of people there are a lot of people that did not like the halftime show but and i didn't see it people you liked it the people who didn't like it. They're either severe Drake fans and or white people understand. White. They don't understand music and what's going on. He just won five Grammys for that song. For anyone to think that he was not going to do that song.
Starting point is 00:48:19 We got Drake fan in the back. There's something wrong with you. And whether you like it or not, it wasn't an awesome show. Start to finish. Start to finish. I think Drake definitely has some things. Like if I was Drake, I definitely have some points in my head. that like, hey, your backs against the walls.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Everyone's trying to kick your back in right now. But look, the way he tried to do it, Drake has some points to be like, yeah, those are my exes up there. I don't care. Like, look, they're like two of the hottest, a hottest tennis chick. I had the hottest tennis chick and one of the hottest R&B album, I mean, singers, like who's around right now.
Starting point is 00:48:53 And if you want to rub that in my face, that makes me feel good. Yeah. Like he has, I think, like he has different ways to think about it. But, ooh, you dated Serena. Exactly. You had to, if I was Drake, you had to know that this was coming. And I think he prepared for it. He's on tour in Australia.
Starting point is 00:49:13 He's across the world. So it hurt a little bit for sure. But both of these guys are making so much money that, like, I really don't care. Drake, Drake's laying on a pile of strippers drying his eye with a bunch of $100 bills. No, he's making, he's making $500,000 bet. on B-Lis MMA. Did he lose? Did he lose his bet last night?
Starting point is 00:49:37 I have no idea. I have no idea. That would be the real, the real painful thing. No what I said? If Drake, look. Interesting political discourse, too.
Starting point is 00:49:46 I thought it was cool to see the president's DEI policies enacted at the halftime show. Didn't see a single white backup dancer. That's pretty good. That's pretty good, you had me in the first half. Right. I was like,
Starting point is 00:50:01 where are we going? Hey, if Drake is listening, if Drake, if he wants to turn this all around. Yeah, come on our show. Come on our show. But really. Let you speak your mind. He needs to find an Eagles player that still fucks with him and pop up on a float. Pop up on the float with the Eagles on February 14th when you're already supposed to be dropping the album.
Starting point is 00:50:24 You get people back on your side. If the guys are all cheering with you, I think that's the way to do it. What do you think, Bo? Bo, if you was on the team, would you accept Drake on your float? Right now? Yeah, but dude, I'm too busy getting drunk, catching ears, and hang on my boys into fucking talk with Drake on the float. So the parade is Friday?
Starting point is 00:50:44 Yep, the 14th. That's really cool. Our parade was like quick. It was like right after, I feel like. Is it really cool? If you're a female from Philadelphia. It's Valentine's Day. And your significant other is an Eagles fan and you're not.
Starting point is 00:50:59 I think that a lot of people are going to break. up this weekend. No. Like, what do you mean? No, dude, they're Philly women, dude.
Starting point is 00:51:09 They would be, I think they would break up with their guys. The guy was like, but I'm saying, no, it's either going to be the best Valentine's Day ever for couple if you guys both love the Eagles, but if you both don't love the Eagles
Starting point is 00:51:21 and one or the other, I think people understand. I think people understand that we can put to the side for one year, we can put to the side a corporate holiday. that actually means nothing. It's just a hallmark holiday. Huh?
Starting point is 00:51:36 My birthday is November 14th. It's almost nine months from Valentine's Day. Something tells me there's going to be a lot of babies. Thanksgiving babies. Born on November 14th. There are going to be a lot of Thanksgiving. A lot of babies. Philly Jones,
Starting point is 00:51:49 a lot of copers. A lot of white kids named Jalen. A lot of Cooper. A lot of, you're going to get black coopers and white Jailens. It's going to be awesome. I'm on my daughter because I was doing this all the start of the game after the picksets when Kendra gets on.
Starting point is 00:52:09 My kids were going nuts, bro. At one point, my son Luke is bouncing around the room and says to my older son, he goes, Whalen, he goes, it's the Diet Coke. The kids were just, Diet Coke does make you bounce around. The kids were lit up. The kids were lit up. They stayed up until 10.30. at the end of the game they were giving me hug that's the coolest part about it like honestly for me it was cool watching my friend a couple of my friends get a ring again and it's cool seeing everybody
Starting point is 00:52:39 in philly happy but like it's really cool that my kids love the eagles and they were everybody was hugging at the end of the game and shit it felt like new year's eve or something um but just super bowl sunday is is is the best thing in the world if your team wins and if you got a room full of people we had a bunch of decorations and shit had a few people over um but anyways i like as far as the week goes i guess we could kind of open it up real fast i want to know so you talked about um the parade and everything what is you win the super bowl and then you wake up Monday morning okay what are those 12 hours i'm going to take you through both the Superbowls real quick and bo you can kind of talk to me about your experience but so new england
Starting point is 00:53:27 and I'll never forget, they buss you over to the team party. And the team party was in this big warehouse. And I get in there and I've got this idea in my head of what it's like to win a Super Bowl, like my whole life. And we walk in and it's like the Patriots sold tickets to like a million fans. So it's basically like a fan experience. Like and we're all just sitting there and like there's people coming up to my dad and coming up to me and bothering people.
Starting point is 00:53:56 And like, it's not a bother, bro, because if I was in there and I was a fan, I want to go. But like, you want a space to hang out with your family and shit. Yeah. No, I know. Well, Kraft's trying to make money. So I got out of there so fast. And we went to what, what hotel was it making? The Fox Hotel.
Starting point is 00:54:14 So we were at the Fox Hotel in Houston and just had a good old fashion. It was a low-key bar, like a hotel bar, just beer drunk Stella night. And ended up hanging. hanging out with Aikman and Buck and Macon and a couple guys and my family was back there. And then I'll never forget late night. Ninko and I, you always imagine you'd be in a nightclub with like sparklers and shit and celebrities. And a lot of guys, I'm sure were. But I spent the last three hours of my night with Niko in the hotel room, packing dips, drinking beers, watching a replay of the game.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Because you just cannot believe it happened. Wow. Especially that one. Well, yeah, yeah. But that one was like, and any of them, when the game's going on, this must be an adrenaline thing. But it's almost like, it's almost like there's a buzzing in your ears. Like there's a ringing in your ears during the game. When I think about memories of the game, it's so, it looks like a varsity blues montage in my head.
Starting point is 00:55:18 It looks like thunderstruck in my head, like especially the first half of that game. it's hard to remember any particular memory it just goes by so fast so you watch it on TV and you're like whoa that happened that happened so the next morning you wake up our whole team is on the same plane back to new england with families and that sort of thing um i think we did the parade a day or two later um and the first night we got back people are out in boston having a blast i'm so tired I went to bed, decided to get some sleep for the parade. Roll it to the parade. I got a fucking Gatorade cooler full of like booze.
Starting point is 00:55:57 And the guys in New England were like, what is that? I'm like, y'all don't do this every year. You get on a bus. They take you to the duck boats. McCordy was like, that's a good idea, dude. Yeah, like what? I'm like, well, y'all are so busy. Act like you've been there before.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Yeah, yeah. But the duck boats were amazing. Boston had a really great parade because as Aiden knows, like those parades really tight streets, really old city, the snow. There was like snow coming down. I'll never forget. The parade's so cool because they throw you fireball shots and beers and, you know, like, dude came up on the float and got me to sign his arm and I ran into him like months later. And he had like a tattoo and I was like, bro, like, you know, there were other floats. You could have got Brady. Could have got Edelman. You could have got, fuck, you could have got your
Starting point is 00:56:43 ball sheared. The next year was totally different. And Bo, that was the best, post game party ever because the Eagles did it right and we had our own section and we didn't leave that place yeah i mean it was cool for me because i'm from minnesota so like my whole family was there my grandma was there cardi b was up on stage twerking her ass and she my grandma's like this is so cool like got to chop it up my family miles teller was there and like got to meet him and this was before um top gun and like all that shit so like remained in contact with him um and met was hanging out with him and Chris this week that the genesis of that was at the Super Bowl, you know, party right after the game. And like, it was just a good time. I don't remember any of it. I actually didn't drink for two
Starting point is 00:57:29 seasons before that Super Bowl after party. And the first beer I had was in the Super Bowl, in the locker room after the Super Bowl. God, damn, it tasted good. Yeah. Fell, you were 13 again. Yeah, I was like, oh, my God, I'm buzzed right now. Like two sips of Miller Light. But that, I mean, the I remember we stayed out. Like I don't, I went back to my hotel room and packed everything up in 30 minutes, didn't even shower and then went on the team charter back to Philly at like 8 a.m. I remember seeing guys like we were all wearing the same shit we went out in after the game. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Like we were all busted up. People were, uh, you know, in bad shape getting dragged onto the team bused by Big Dom who had a fucking bottle of booze with him too. It was, it was, I mean, it's just the perfect excuse to celebrate with guys and really enjoy it and you feel invincible man and then drink some electrolytes because we had the parade like you know a day and a half later it felt like you all right so revisionist history a little bit there pat's parade was on a tuesday eagles parade was on a thursday oh was on thursday but that's weird because i feel like it came right after like i remember what damn really
Starting point is 00:58:40 well when we got back to philly um i did the same thing like where people went out and shit and And I try, but I just couldn't. Tried to rest up for the parade because you know the parade's the best part. And the whole team was sick. Like when we played Philly or when we played against New England, it was like when we got on that team playing with like half the team was sick leading up. We were in Minneapolis staying in the same hotel. It was the funniest thing leading up to the game because New England was in the same hotel Mall of America. And it was zero degrees outside.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Nobody would go outside. So the only places we could have gone, like we kept running into each other. Like we went to Benny Hana's one night and like the Patriots had a table right next to us. I'm seeing Devin. And then like I'm walking by guys in the hallway of the Mall of America and they're like, you know, like a teammate I had last year. I remember seeing this guy, Gino Grissom who went to OU is like my young guy. And I like pass him.
Starting point is 00:59:37 I was like, what's up, Gino? And he kind of gave me the like, it's game week. Like we can't. So it was just, it was super awkward. And then when we left, everybody was so. sick guys hooked up to IV bags before the game and shit our kids were on the planes we were like damn like the whole plane's going to be sick by the time we got to the the parade i think it was i think we were good but i'll just say this about the parade like it's the one chance in your life
Starting point is 01:00:03 that you know when it's happening you're like this will never happen again like i'll never feel something like this again i'll never forget seeing what a million people look like when you hear a million people in some place. Stadium can't hold that many people. You know, like nothing. A parade is like the only time you'll see that many people in one place and the feeling going down the street and thinking like, hey, this is for us. It's the one day we're going to die, right?
Starting point is 01:00:35 Making those that. For sure. Yeah, he can't wait. But like from this day until that day, I feel invincible. There's no. drug it's there's no experience that will ever live up to it it's like soma bro if you know in the grinch when it when he's like his heart grew three times in size that day like my dick grew three times in like that's like a ray float bro i'm catching beers i'm taking shot of 1942 with timmy
Starting point is 01:01:08 gerrigan and his big ass grill is just blinding me won't stop smiling and cowboy you got that photo of uh of me and C Long like Chris showed up for the parade. Suit and booted kidd him, that legendary AI jersey on with the fur coat. Yeah, it was a good look. That's in Philadelphia. I did feel the text last night, and I'm not sure if he was being serious.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Oh, somebody wants to redo it. Somebody might be wearing the coat Friday. Ooh. With the jersey or just the coat? I think what they wanted was the coat. It was like, I got a text last night at like midnight. Him? Let me get that coat Friday.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Him? Who? Coupe? No, it's not a white guy. Oh, you got to keep the exciting white. You're an excited white, my default. You and Bo are exciting whites, too. But I'll tell you, it's a guy that I really love.
Starting point is 01:02:02 And so I'm looking forward to, you know, I don't want to say who it is to put pressure on him to wear it or not, because maybe he was just drunk. But I'm getting an SUV today to go up to inside the NFL for our last show, and I will be bringing the coat. So nice. I don't think anyone's going to be wearing the outfit that I had because ever since January 6th,
Starting point is 01:02:21 just not as good at a low. Yeah. An American flag button down. Yeah, with a big white man. With Canadian tuxedo. Yeah. We got to find that, dude, I was wearing a GoPro that day.
Starting point is 01:02:36 I've never accessed that footage because I was like, I'm going to save it. I'm going to save it for when I'm on my deathbed. I might need to go find that GoPro, dude. Go get the GoPro, bro. You didn't load it on. You didn't load the footage onto a computer. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 01:02:51 No. Do you have the GoPro? I have it somewhere. Do you have it stashed away? Like it's a sex tape? Come on. Like, give us. It's, I haven't used the GoPro since.
Starting point is 01:03:00 I got a, I got to look it up. Today. Can you do me a favor? Bro. That footage. Like, can you do us a favor? Like professionally? No, I know.
Starting point is 01:03:12 But like, send it to us and we'll cut it up. and make a YouTube out of it. I'm actually going to bid it out to some of our competitors. So like, yeah, give it to CBO. I will get the footage. I will get the facts. Oh, that's so good.
Starting point is 01:03:32 That's fucking funny. All right, yes, I will find the footage. I hope that it is, as far as I know, I've never used a GoPro since. I bought it for that day. And that's the only thing I've ever used it for. So, like, the SIM card and shit should be in there. And I hope it is just.
Starting point is 01:03:44 Watch us just be drunk mumbo-jum. Oh, it is, bro. It is going to be. It just gets pointed at his forehead. Do you know when you... Someone in the chat goes video two on the SD card is inside the Capitol. It's like Timmy Jernigan and then it's like it's like somebody with jousting somebody with an American flag. That's the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen to the chat.
Starting point is 01:04:19 That's a great line. I actually, Cowboy, I signed a photo to you that I, like, this is what people don't understand about the parade. They're like, oh, this is like the, this is the best moment of your life. And it is. You're celebrating exactly what Chris said, the biggest moment in your life with all of your friends. And there are millions of people around you. But what people need to understand is you're also, I'm slugging beers. I'm catching.
Starting point is 01:04:42 beers and chugging them. I'm shotgunning beers. I'm drinking tequila and we're on a parade for three hours. All right. Yeah. There is absolutely nowhere to take a piss. So you are loving yourself celebrating your highest moment and also at the same time, you're taking a piss in the bottom of a double-decker bus into a 42-ounce big gulp. No question. Or you had to run off somewhere. It's a lot of interesting things. And we were getting, we were getting off the float and I like borrowed a police bicycle. Like this cop was like, yeah, take it. And I was just like, I was, weaving down the street me and fletch got on these bikes bro it was it every i get this picture in my uh i literally i took a piss in this cup those are the gloves that i was wearing there's
Starting point is 01:05:24 nowhere to fucking dump it out so i opened up the uh door and dumped it out in the middle of broad street that rain and everyone started cheering and like i was fucking it was the funniest thing to be. As we talk about this, as we talk about this, I'm, I'm texting, loving it. I'm texting Tanner some of my favorite pictures from like, this is post Super Bowl so we can put them up or like videos. You know what that is? I went through my phone the other day. Yeah. Marketing was, you know, you know who should step up and like take advantage of this opportunity? Who? Depends. Depends to give all the guys who win the Super Bowl who are going to be on the float. some depends for the flow speaking of that
Starting point is 01:06:08 worst seat my mom at the Super Bowl because the guy in front of her she had his pants during the game said the whole section smelled something and then like they said they got up and like clean the seat and people came down and the guy was standing up and there was like a dukey mark in his
Starting point is 01:06:28 that New Orleans gumbo can you like Philly fan? I don't I don't know I'm not sure did you have to leave? Do you have to leave when you do that? I don't think so. I think you paid good money. You're allowed to shit yourself. He's got to write it out. No way. Tanner, I'm sending you pictures, man. I just want to be able to show the people on YouTube. These are worth a million dollars to me, dude. Hey, speaking of great looking things, Beville Conway. Yeah. Now, I know y'all like to participate in group think and will disagree with me. That scorebug was fired. No, I liked it. We liked it. I thought I loved it. Were people anti? Yes, they're anti on the internet. It's because they got small brains. I loved it. I like being able to see all the lines most of the time. Like usually the scorebug, it like, especially nowadays when we have so many plays where it's like, is that a first down or not? Like, the scoreboard be blocking shit. It was clean. Yeah. And it looked clean. I think, I think the font. They could have gone with the logos instead of the letters. I think that maybe made it a little bit looked off. But,
Starting point is 01:07:35 I liked it. There was an initial shock factor, but once the gameplay started, it was like, oh, yeah. This works. I hope you guys going with this. Yep. I like it.
Starting point is 01:07:44 All right, so, Tanner, are you getting these? Yeah, yeah. Okay, I got two videos, and I got some pictures as they pop up. But one of the ones, by the way, Lane said they were playing Big X the plug in the locker. Oh.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Oh, we seen them. Yeah? We seen them. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. My man, Tanner. we got close he dapped him up while he was performing Max is the biggest stargazer
Starting point is 01:08:09 I've ever seen about life I am! I am! That's not true. You had the fucking telescope. You had the telescope out this. He might be a stargazer, but you might be a star chaser. Exactly. That's a perfect way to put it. Just because I
Starting point is 01:08:23 know who people are. Just because he's gazing. This is between me and Nate. Well, I'm just being the referee, bro. That didn't sound very refereal. to me. Yeah, did. Offsetting penalties. It sounded like he kind of tapped you in, you know? Hey, look at this picture here.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Okay. Chill out turbo. Look at this picture here. This is a picture. We're going under an underpass and all these guys in yellow vests. Like, they're all like workers, like blue collar cats, like real Philly guys. I just, I felt like that picture could have been like out of the 40s, man. It was like, it just, that picture to me summed everything. I was like the whole city and the team on the same team for a day man that was an incredible shot um you you got the you got the one of uh me and uh yeah this is this i didn't put this in the the show notes so this is kind of shout out of 10 okay yeah that's that's when we showed up before the parade we we like showed up
Starting point is 01:09:23 at um where was it uh where was it where did we show up beau before the parade where did we push off from the link the link yeah we link the fucking stage out from the link and then we went on broad street and there's cori um pretty hazy for your boy yeah and then we ended up at the philadelphia museum of art which was dope because the city was kind of in the background and there was all these smoke from fireworks and we were all you know celebrating and it was oh look at that one what do you think about that one what do you think about that picture but i fucking love that guy timmy jernigan haven't seen timmy since the parade basically do we need to put out don't know where timmy is if anybody knows where timmy is can you get me in touch with him because he was one of my best friends on that
Starting point is 01:10:10 team and i miss him dearly i love timmy jernigan that's what's so timmy jernigan hey you know when you you start to realize you can't speak well anymore when you get drunk like you're like you start to be acutely aware of yeah i just did that shit for six days straight brother that shit happened to me at the new heights party oh yeah what a great part i was ripped Um, I was right. Yes, put one of the videos up, any order you want. Okay, so this is the New England. This is right when we were on the bus on the way in, I had my Julian Edelman mask.
Starting point is 01:10:40 Oh, my God. So leading up, it was like a month before, I got this porcelain mask company that makes like really nice mask to make me a Julian Edelman mask. And I was like doing interviews in the locker room as Julian Edelman. And so here, here's me, Dev. And I think Jules is on the bus. Let it roll. What's up, bud?
Starting point is 01:10:59 Hey, bro. Hey, man, that catch you had, though, bro. Yeah, I'm the new David Tyree, Bub. That was game saving, bro. Yeah, sports science said I- You're so elite, man. Sports science said I clutch the ball as fast as an eagle flaps his wings, bro. Yeah, I'm elite, I'm elite, I'm elite.
Starting point is 01:11:15 You are elite. Tom Brady's nothing without you, bro. He's nothing without me, bubs. He needs me. That's why I'm gonna be on duck boat one on the parade, bro, come find me. I got a pop-up shop. And this is us listening to, and this is the Philly Super Bowl.
Starting point is 01:11:35 And this is the thing. Do you think about a song you want to hear after the game? It's pretty, pretty like down the middle. But it's queen, man. Like when you hear we are the champions in the locker room, let that shit roll. You got a little Carson Wentz cameo. Is my meek-moo? No, we played meek.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Meek was definitely playing. But look at this. It's just a shit show, bro. Tariq Cohen's not in here, is he? No. Look at all the, it's just people hugging, bro. Like, oh. And I'm giving Ian Yates Cunningham a hug, who I played college ball with.
Starting point is 01:12:12 And he was, you know, assistant GM. Now he's in Chicago. I watch two. But I've just, I got chills thinking about it now. The rest of the video sucks. But I got chills thinking about every moment. Anything you name, whether it's a plane ride back, the late night, the night of the game.
Starting point is 01:12:29 And coming back, bro. And I think to wrap the game up, I think the coolest part to me is, and last night I said this on the podcast, like some people asked me before over the last couple years of what are you going to think if they win it again? Like, do you want to be the only team? You know, maybe a couple guys are like, damn, we were it. I love the fact. Yeah, we don't matter anymore, Chris.
Starting point is 01:12:51 It's great. I don't mind it. My appearance fee money just went way down, brother. But you know what? Here's the coolest part about it. And I called us the other team last night. I was part of the other team. It's great to be the first team to ever do it.
Starting point is 01:13:06 And the dog mass, the being the underdogs, the winning with foals. Our team was one in a million. This team was a fucking buzzsaw. And I cannot wait to come back to Eagles games until I'm walking around with a cane and walking up to guys like Sequin Barkley or Jalen Hertz. or Cam Juergens or Dickerson and saying, what's up, champ? What's up, champ?
Starting point is 01:13:34 That to me, the first one, her hits so good. But that to me, the coolest part, thinking about the future and thinking about like, and there'll be other teams, hopefully, that are a part of that family. But I am so honored to be a Super Bowl champion in Philly with these guys because they are a superior team.
Starting point is 01:13:54 I mean, this team is historically good. and to share a lot of cool moments with these guys. And we've gotten to know some over the years they're doing this or they're being buddies with Lane and hanging out with the O-line and, you know, coming back to see guys, man, like it's going to be an amazing run. It's just welcome to the fucking club, man. It's so cool. No, I mean, you said it, Chris.
Starting point is 01:14:17 It's like, and I'm joking. I'm being facetious, okay? Like, want the Eagles to win the Super Bowl. We love the Eagles. We've always, we've been hot on the Eagles forever. but exactly what you said, Chris, like we had such a good time in that experience. Like how much fun was that for me and you?
Starting point is 01:14:33 How much closer did it bring us? Did it bring us with all of our other teammates? You know, as a player, like you want that for the young guys on the Eagles roster. You want that for Cooper, for Coynean. I want it for Cam Juergens. Yeah. These guys, these young players. I want it for Zach Bonn, who played incredibly all year and what a Super Bowl in the stadium
Starting point is 01:14:51 for the team that he was at previously. You know, like I want them to have these moments because it was such a special moment for me in my life and I'm so excited that they have that now too it's great it's a good thing it's awesome man congrats to the eagles uh i just want to give you a little bit of i want to give a little love to Airbnb here as we get into talking about the week um what's up y'all we just got back from our epic trip to uh the super bowl and the Airbnb was incredible guys i mean it was just like we walked in and you know buffalo was great but this was even better matt we were all blown away convenient location it is the best super bowl city i can't wait for next year in
Starting point is 01:15:30 san francisco after this one if we're doing stuff with air b i know they're going to hook it up if you're thinking about going on a trip somewhere not only should you stay in an air bn b b but you should consider becoming an air b host that's another thing you know i always joke about you know leaving town on a business trip like this and listing my house is an air b and not telling my wife and the people just show up and that sort of thing but i'm kind of serious because you can make real money listing you're your house. Even your real estate can't help you with that. Only Airbnb can help you. Head to Airbnb.com slash host to find all the details. Airbnb hooked it up. It was awesome. Should we shout out Yeti as well? I mean, Yeti was great. I got a Yeti bag. We had so many damn
Starting point is 01:16:11 Yeti bags. We had, look at these, these, uh, Yeti green light. What do they call these? That's a water bottle. We got tumblers. Tumblr. That's the thing I'm always, Lasks. Yeah. Just, Yeti is one of my favorite products, period, because, like, I'm on the river all the time. And, yeah, that stuff is kind of a gold standard as far as keeping your stuff dry or keeping your stuff cold or, yeah, I'm always using Yeti. So it's kind of a full circle moment to think that, like, hey, at work, we're getting Yeti hookups.
Starting point is 01:16:38 But the backpacks, the duffel bags, this summer's kayak trips are going to be better than ever. We got coolers. Drinks will be cold. So join us with Yeti and get the gear that performs the best when it matters most. We had some awesome sponsors for this trip, including Live Fire, right? Kingsford. Well, Kingsford and Live Fire Republic. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:03 Live Fire. Food. We didn't have to do one reservation. It was amazing. Factioner, I'm not going to lie. It kind of cut out a lot of content I thought I was going to do. Yeah. But the fact, yeah, I didn't, we didn't go.
Starting point is 01:17:18 I don't think I don't think I had a single sit down meal. I just was eating in our kitchen. And honestly, you think about it, we go on these trips. We go on these trips. Like, you only have so much time. And, like, waiting for a reservation with eight to ten people in a restaurant that's already full, usually takes up a long time. And the fact that we didn't have to do that and we were just in our Airbnb.
Starting point is 01:17:39 And, like, when guys got hungry, a chef will walk around being like, hey, you want a tomahawk? Like, yeah, I want a pommahawk right now? Yeah, don't mind if I do. They were, what? I had a gator hanging on a pit like for like two days, bro. I realized it was a sacrifice. It was awesome. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:56 It was a sacrifice. Maybe don't get Nate going on the gator. Yeah. It was Carson Steele's gator. It was his gator. They sacrificed it early. Had to get ready for the game. It should have known.
Starting point is 01:18:10 Should have known the game was going to go like that. Anyway, Chris, I had a really good sit-down meal on Friday. I just had a bad visual of Carson having to eat his gator in a survival situation. Go ahead. I had a great sit-down meal at Antoine's on Friday night. It's the oldest continuous restaurant in the United States. Served really good, you know, French and Cajun cuisine. More importantly than that were the, you know, the individuals that are shared the meal with sat right next to Diane Long.
Starting point is 01:18:37 Yeah. Howie Long right next to your brother, Howie Jr. And you got paid. Probably one of my, well, not yet. Howie. But no, it was a good event. It was so funny because. it was a lot of the people that were at the dinner to were from Australia and Fiji.
Starting point is 01:18:57 And so they didn't know like a ton about football and me and Big Howie were explaining it to him. And I'm like, you guys have no idea that how privilege you are. You don't appreciate that there is a literal Hall of Famer who works in broadcasting, chopping it up with you guys, explaining football. And eventually like me and him got into like real X's and O stuff. And we were, you know, making some really good points. and I look over at them and they have no idea what the fuck we're talking about. Well, you have to, you have to compare it to rugby.
Starting point is 01:19:25 You have to, you know, say like, this is like the off- this is like a scrummage. That's how I feel. You're in football 401 and they needed football 101. You know a scrummage? That's how I feel. Scrum? Yeah, but they call it a scrummage.
Starting point is 01:19:37 Oh, really? Yeah. It's like kind of like a, I played a rugby video game. Do you think unhooked the trailers, a rugby term? Is that why Jordan Milo? Unhooked the trailer. I don't know. Huck the trailer.
Starting point is 01:19:48 I don't know. maybe. That's what they tell each. Hey, did that PS5 make it back? I sure did. Oh, sit. Out here in the lobby, you can take it when you roll. So one of my proudest moments of the week, speaking of PS5 is like, I had heard that we were
Starting point is 01:19:58 going to go play sketch, you know, the YouTuber or the Twitch guy. I love sketch. Like, I don't know much about Twitch or people that stream, but like, I just like the way the guy operates. And our mutual friend, most unlikely mutual friend is Max O'Cream. Max O'Cream. How funny. The rapper.
Starting point is 01:20:14 All right. So, so, you know, like, I'd heard about sketch for a long time. And we were going to the Madden party, I guess, Friday night. And I was getting paid a couple bucks to play sketch and Madden. And I'm imagining we're going in like a side room. And I'm kind of nervous because like, you know, I'm decent and Madden. I'm pretty good. Like I play a lot.
Starting point is 01:20:33 And I get in a situation where I got to play this guy on fucking like a stream. And I'm like, bro, like, what if I get embarrassed? And not only is it on the stream and he has God knows how many people, but it's like out in front of the event. It's like on the red carpet. And I walk up. and play sketch and they're like yeah just see if you can score on them you know you just get one drive and i was like oh fuck so second play i hit a bomb to dotson wow 70 yards down at the one yeah no no he scored by the way i feel bad for worst seat dots in first touchdown scores they like
Starting point is 01:21:10 you run outside your screen oh what about jailing first touchdown scores bessie well that might be best seat but I'm just thinking about the people that thought that they hit on a bet that was like probably what plus I don't know a lot probably 3000 or something but it was awesome because I was just like all right man I guess that's the end and got to walk off and enjoy my drinks and and I didn't embarrass myself we saw a lot of cool people I was going to this segment can almost be called name dropping yep just let's start oh has a great name for it we're calling it star sucking with Bo Allen. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:47 Named by Dr. Fow. Star sucking. So started off. We had Vince Wilfork on our show. That was awesome. We got a photo colloquy. Actually coming up.
Starting point is 01:21:57 Cowboy, did you get all those photos that come through? God, I hate posting those carousels. I'll throw them up. It takes so much work. Oh, man. Flavor Flavid.
Starting point is 01:22:06 John Ham? Yeah, you met John Ham. John Ham was just like, like, who are you? Did he say that? I can just see it in his face. But I was lit at the Kelsey party. I was lit.
Starting point is 01:22:19 So, like, I didn't care. And I'm still regretting it because Ralph talked me out of taking a picture with Big Dom. Like, I'm so, I'm, that's like, no. That's my regret of the trip. I was like, yo, we'll get one. We'll get one. We'll get one with Big Don. And he was like, yeah, don't do that.
Starting point is 01:22:38 He's like, that's Chris's friend. And I'm like, bro. I'm texting Dom right now. And then as soon as I left, I was like, I should have took that picture. Dom's the Paison. I know. He'd love that.
Starting point is 01:22:51 No, I'd just text them. I said you're going to take a picture with Nate. And I'd send him a trophy emoji, an Italian flag emoji, and a goat emoji. I can't say I'd ever been a fan of Nick Wright, but my opinion on him totally changed. You met him? Yeah, he's incredibly cool. Dude, I like Nick Wright, man. Although Florida, maybe worse seat Nick Wright last night because he's like Mr.
Starting point is 01:23:13 Cheese and anti-Eagle. and all that. Freezing cold takes had his tweets. I'm sure he took it like a champ. I really enjoy a lot of his stuff. Who else did we see? I mean, we love Kevin Clark. He came to the air baby.
Starting point is 01:23:27 Oh, flow rider, dude. Look at that. That whole day was hilarious. Whoa. So this is like our last day and we're just dragging and people are like struggling and we're rushing. It's 85 degrees. We're doing a live pod from a concert party venue.
Starting point is 01:23:40 That's a lot of deal. Could I, could I talk about it? Any sponsors out there? do that more? That would be the plan. Can we do that more? If we continue to do this well. Having a versus battle with the DJ while trying to do a live show, I must say, I am very
Starting point is 01:23:58 impressed with Chris's skills to block out a DJ doing a full set when he's- We got these single girls in the audience. And I was like stacks in bunches. He said the love him for the Eagles. Exfactor, built and brilliant. And then poor Warwick Dunn. Someone let him know that was not the real. Okay, so you're going to bring it up.
Starting point is 01:24:26 I'll let you guys tell the story because I don't want to get into it. The Andy Reed impersonator that we seen last year at the Super Bowl, I just want to say, first of all, he really looks like Andy Reed. And he's got material. He's got answers to questions, ready to. to go. Oh man, he really does it right. And I just think seeing him and an older player like work done like really like sitting there and so you're not giving enough context. Give it. So we're at this the Smyranoff thing where we have multiple guests. And one of them
Starting point is 01:25:03 was work done. And so work done who is a hero to me like so it pains me even say this stuff. he was getting interview by us and in the crowd the impersonator walks up like we're on stage and a fucking Andy Reid impersonator comes up the guy I've seen him before so I know but also he's in like all his coaching the game day gear and he's at the Smeeringoff party the day for the game and we're like oh there's Andy Reid because we're just like yeah it's fucking obviously not and uh and war it starts going back and forth with him, like, you know, thinking he's indeed Andy Reid. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:43 Yes. And I didn't want to be the one to be like, yo, Warren, that's not Andy Reid. But look, the first time he did it and he was going back and forth, I thought he was playing into it with us. That's right. But really what happened was after we got off the first set of questions with him, you started talking with him again and him reminiscing about something. He's like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:01 And then when we, yeah, we played against Andy. And he goes back. He goes back to Andy and starts conversant. That's still. the dude is it like it's understandable the worst thing about that whole thing is we interview worked on i was asking a question about tony jungy who is a man of god a great guy and i'm like yeah we all know how great tony dungy was uh you know seems like a very father like figure did he ever like motherfucker you guys in the locker room and then as soon as it came out of my mouth i was
Starting point is 01:26:28 dude when war rugg done got up there like i was like brother i am 15 smirnoff's deep here i'm sorry i was i was like that's something later about drinking response possibly like look right mad me and i was like yeah he bow was letting the f bombs fly and like we had like one of the all-time human beings up there and i was like as soon as war i sat down i wanted to be like no more but bow's bow only has so many adjectives on day three of a bender yeah hey drip king drip king i want to give drip king to bow allen as ralph said in the group text upon us leaving uh bow is the baddest bitch he knows uh his outfits all week were on point i don't know how you find this stuff or put it together um what would
Starting point is 01:27:16 you describe your aesthetic as hot girl is that hot guys get a guy that can do it all chris you know yeah it's versatile it's oh oh there's us in jelly roll and uh rich salvation army swag and the guy from top gun yeah who miles as bow mentioned like we got to meet him like a long time ago because he's a huge like serious eagles fan and then we went to stabled him with him both nights um you know way back in the day he was on the show in the dawn of this show and i got to say i'm pretty impressed with him because he's been in top gun he's friends with tom cruise like all this has happened since we hung out and he's still cool as shit and i'll say this about miles we were like walking through the casino and all that with kelsey and miles and people do not stop miles they don't
Starting point is 01:28:07 recognize that it's him. Kelsey gets stopped 10 times as much as miles, which makes sense. Well, it's like, it was gilly, it was gilly to king. Kid, Gilly. Or king. Is it kid or king? I guess it's either one. King now. It's king now. He's king now. Not a kid anymore. But he did, he skipped the prince step. Yeah, just straight to king status. He's getting like obliterated by fans and stuff. And he like, Kelsey, we're gambling on the craft table he comes over and like jumps into kelsey's arms and it's like i'm just sitting there talking to miles teller like one of the biggest movie stars of the planet and no it's nobody says anything's people are like bow and i'm like yeah miles has a good miles has a good like a good fame like everybody
Starting point is 01:28:50 knows who miles teller is but not everybody recognizes him so i don't know what about the what about the work a hall guy oh dude i love those guys oh yeah those guys are so cool yeah like i like durs is the homie like durs we known durs from a while back and i don't know how we all got hooked up but like then he came on the show and he was awesome and make and talk to him and the whole thing did you see no because he was talking about you he was like i can't wait till he fucking gets here i remember he was giving you shit he went to wisconsin yeah yeah he went to wisconsin he was roommates with one of my favorite coaches at wisconsin who's a strength coach for the um chargers well yeah he good dude and then the the guy with the long hair who's blake blake he's blake he
Starting point is 01:29:33 He's like my favorite guy on that podcast. He's like hilarious. And that he didn't disappoint. He is a fucking piece of work. And so they were shitting on him because I was like, you are, he's like, no, I'm a pretty good athlete. I was like, ah, yeah, I bet. Like, I'm sure you are like fucking joking with him. He's like, there's a football rolling around.
Starting point is 01:29:53 You could say it. And he's like, I mean. Say it. Anyway, he was, he's like, I bet you I could hit that light over there. I'm like, nah, you can't hit it. Why would you bet something that you could hit a thing? Right, but he threw a dart at that light. He threw a dart.
Starting point is 01:30:12 Like an absolute dime. I'm not even going to lie. For a freaking Nerf ball, bro, that hit the shit really, really. But he came up to me. He's like, hey, man. He goes, he goes, because this is at our Airbnb. And he's like, I just want to, I just want to tell you before anybody else does, I broke that line.
Starting point is 01:30:32 he goes that's me and i was like i don't give a fuck bro and then the next morning i'm sitting there i'm like i'm looking at i'm like damn that's like a gas lamp yeah it's like a serious i'm like i texted the air bnb guy to tell him the workaholics guys broke the light i snitched on them oh really and then he was like was it durs i bet it was durs no he didn't care at all oh that's great oh that's so lit so he's off he's off the hook he doesn't care because he has the security deposit yeah exactly that's how that works That's how that works. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:31:05 And we saw Stapleton again. And after the show or before his show, me and Bo got to take a picture with him. I still don't have our picture. The only picture has ever surfaced. I didn't. Oh, yeah. You should have seen Making up there. Dutch.
Starting point is 01:31:19 Dutch took these pictures. Do you think Dutch has the picture of all four of us? Because I'll ask him. I wouldn't mind that picture. That's what Stapleton looks like right there? Yeah, that's Chris Stapleton, dude. That's the goat right there. There was a great video.
Starting point is 01:31:32 dude while funniest sorry go go go go go go go this photo right now this was the funniest interaction of me um from the weekend we're at the madden party and i kind of get separated a little bit i go and find chris he's talking to this dude i'm like man this guy looks familiar he introduced himself he's like my name's air franklin i was like bro it is so nice to meet you congrats on the pro bowl i'm like how it took me like 30 seconds i'm like how do you feel about when kelsey fucked you up in joint practice. Oh, yeah, that was the whole thing. Kelsey took a running.
Starting point is 01:32:05 Yeah, he blasted him. And he's like, eh, kind of had it coming. I was talking to that shit. We took a photo of Zaire Franklin. Me, and he's flipping off, uh, he's flipping off Kelsey.
Starting point is 01:32:16 I sent it to Kelsey and said, you better keep your fucking head out of swivel. He replies that night. It just goes, ha, ha, ha, ha, god damn it. No, at Saturday at 1.30, and then I never replied because we were at bad. I was getting fucked up.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Saturday morning. at 10.30 a.m. he falls back, but seriously, should I? And then I didn't reply to that because I was busy. And then he did like the up arrow thing. Like Kelsey was like, he was like worried about Zyre Franklin. He was like, he's like, should I actually be worried? No, I love Zaire Franklin. He's like on a short list of guys I've met that I wish I play with. Like he just, he's got good vibes. Like he he seems like a dog, man. But he's also super cool and a great podcaster. I was getting. And he's from Philly. Because I was. And he's from Philly. Because I like their podcast. It was crazy because he kind of got introduced by like Joe Button.
Starting point is 01:33:08 Yeah. I watched the Joe Button podcast. And that's like his sports guy that he brings in to kind of talk here and there. And then that rolled into Joe being like, yo, you need to start your own thing. And I think him and EJ. Speed do it amazing. Amazing job. And I was, I was, I took shrooms at Madden Party night. So like I was like, I was in there really flowing around.
Starting point is 01:33:28 And I'm not even going to lie. I had to leave before Stapleton, where everyone was sitting all the way up, like, I couldn't do it. I got up there, make it's having a great. I was like, y'all, I'm a chill with Macon. I was so fated that we were there, and I remembered we were going to Stapleton, but like jelly roll came on, right? And we saw Jelly Roll. Jelly Roll is a man. And Stapleton came in.
Starting point is 01:33:52 And like in my head, I don't know, like, if my brain just didn't compute why Stapleton was there because we were standing in the back of the stage, getting ready. to watch Stapleton, I guess. And I was like, I turned to Ralph and I go, I don't know, man. Like, my legs hurt. I don't want to be back here. I need to go sit down somewhere. And so I went out and sat in the street for a while. And like 30 minutes in, it hit me that Chris Stapleton was on.
Starting point is 01:34:14 I missed, I miss like, where did you go? I miss half the show like. You missed White Horse. Well, that's okay because I saw it the night before. But I guess it was up in the rafters. Will Levis. No way. He was right behind this.
Starting point is 01:34:28 this was up there having the time of his life. Good for him. It was making dancing real hard. It was Will Levis dancing real hard. And then it was Nate sitting down scrolling on his life. I was like, I was up there. I just, I kept looking down at the stage. And I don't know how, like, structures like that, like, people had to fall down.
Starting point is 01:34:50 Like, bro, like, I'm not joking. If you slip on one of the little depth, like, you would probably feel like you're on a roller coaster, like, oh, my God, am I going to tumble off this thing? Yeah, I could tell that was on your mind. It was kind of steep. We also saw Sam Darnold there talk to him for a while. He's the fucking coolest dude, man. You should have seen me trying to carry three drinks up to those stairs.
Starting point is 01:35:07 Was it tough? It was ugly. Purchase of the week had to be your door-d-ass shoes, Ken. I doordash some air monarchs from dick sporting goods.com. Yeah. And yeah, they saved my life. I only came down with Birkenstocks. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:35:25 That is crazy. It was a shit show. Hey, I need to mention that jelly roll. I don't know if it was sequentially, but he covered Toby Keith, followed by Spice Girls, followed by Green Day, followed by John Denver, followed by Eminem, followed by Biz Marquis. It was an all-time heat. He's a human.
Starting point is 01:35:47 He's a human jukebox, man. It was crazy. And he is one of the most down-to-earth people. So cool. Like, had this little pot-smoking thing. little pot smoking thing it was like a little I was like yes it was like this
Starting point is 01:36:03 little drinking thing yeah it was awesome pot smoking thing it was so cool yeah I don't know what it was he had some paraphernalia I was like I want that
Starting point is 01:36:14 it was like his thing it was sick pot pot huh all right well am I missing anything we give a little love to a love sack oh love sack oh my god i was sitting on a love sack couch last night we had our love sack lounge our studio was hooked up Airbnb furnished uh with love sack uh amazing setup we had sectionals
Starting point is 01:36:42 bean bags one of them barry sanders sat on like just came in the house and like just plop down on the bean bag and then Nate walked over with a with a with a trading card and was like hey will you sign this he signed it he's so nice very standard's nice very standard's nice This guy, dude. The greatest. Stealth Tech is a system that features premium sound and wireless charging. They got that in their furniture. You can control it with a remote with sound by Harmon Cardin.
Starting point is 01:37:12 Everybody knows Harmon Cardin is like the gold standard. You know that making. Love Sacks, Stealth Tech sound and charge has transformed the living room experience for all consumers and pushes the bounds of at-home entertainment. It's a couch design with love. And I feel it every time I sit down in one. With the surround sound, you didn't know what you were missing, man. And so shout out to Love Sack.
Starting point is 01:37:35 And then lastly, Harry's, man. What would I have done without Harry's this week? For a guy that looked at his aura ring at some point, and it said three hours, 20 minutes of sleep with 20 minutes of REM sleep. Like, I just, I did that for three nights. So to wake up and. And get some of that, some of that face, that eye cream, man. Eye cooling stick.
Starting point is 01:38:02 Oh, the eye cooling stick is unbelievable. I felt better immediately. And I didn't look like shit. You know, you get the puffing, the swelling. You got to bring that down. I got a facial massage tool. It did wonders for me. Pro tip, put the cooling eye kit in the fridge or the freezer for best results.
Starting point is 01:38:20 Use both in the morning and at night for long-term benefits. I did forget to apply it at 5 a.m. but I definitely used it in the morning. So grab yourself a cooling eye kit from our good friends at Harry's and get ready for whatever the day has in store for you. And a huge shout out to BetMGM. They made all this happen. They were the reason that we were in New Orleans.
Starting point is 01:38:40 Dude. And sometimes people will be like, man, there's a lot of sponsors. There's a lot of ads or whatever. Like we couldn't do the work that we did this weekend. We couldn't get the, I'm just as a guy who owns this business and is putting it together with all y'all. Like you can attest like these people really legitimate. made it possible this this this this uh super bowl so you know sports book born in
Starting point is 01:39:01 Vegas that's got to get you too bet mGM new customers sign up and get the first uh get up to $1,500 paid back in bonus bets if your first bet loses then check back for promotions like odd boost uh no sweat bets and NBA and nchl second chance promos all the sports book all from the sports book born in Vegas just thanks a lot to bet mGM they they really make it possible and um You know, it was like last night at the end of the game as I was putting in bad first touchdown bets or not first touchdown bets like anytime. I bet Johnny Wilson at like plus 4,000 because I was just like one more bet before the off season. You know that feeling as you get ready to like you're standing out over the precipice and you're like, when am I going to gamble like this again? And my buddy Kevin, bad back back, he turns to me and goes, pitchers and catchers report in two weeks.
Starting point is 01:39:56 so there's more um and uh from us man i just can't thank y'all enough for riding the way with us this season um we really do work hard i told you man i mean i'm not the only one these guys i'm pretty sure of burnout too but um this fall i had the worst burnout i've ever had and uh i will be taking a break for a little bit but you'll still see me um because we are going to have some tank or banked interviews not tanked interviews it would be bad interviews um but i mentioned you know will fork i mentioned barry sanders um we've got some more coming down Kyle Hamilton yeah like a lot of great interviews coming up over the next couple weeks and then as we go here just look for the whole gang to be creating some content we'll get you in the groove as far as
Starting point is 01:40:45 whatever our offseason schedule is um but as a coach would say hey go get off your feet enjoy your time and have a garage beer or two have a garage beer too um and and when you get back i want you to run through the door you know jeff fisher used to say this he's go i want you to sprint through the front door in the mornings uh you love being here so much and and i love coming to work with you guys as hard as it is some days to get going and think of shit to say and um in a big shout out to uh to all the talent on this show you know Nate making beau who joined us every Monday from his humble abode in Tampa. And we got a lot of places we're going to put him to work.
Starting point is 01:41:31 And Nolan, who's kind of like talent for us, I guess shout Nolan out, bro. Nolan allows me, Nolan, the rush every Sunday. I don't think anybody, I'm not tooting our horns, but we grind it out. And I just appreciate every Sunday having another guy who's as plugged in on ball as me that will break down tape. I'll be like, you take this game. I got this game. It's like a feverish divide and conquer before the Monday show.
Starting point is 01:41:59 I mean, I'm talking we're up till two in the morning, and then we're up again at nine, right back watching tape, getting ready for this 2.30 show. We did it 25 times, it felt like. And so we couldn't have done it without you. And then, you know, Stanford, Steve, who joins us a lot on this show. We love Steve, Meg. Hey, as someone who hadn't been on an airplane riding along,
Starting point is 01:42:23 time getting the text night before you on the 855 out of Dulles oh made me feel like I was at home he's the all-time vibe guy he's the all-time football guy he's the all-time you know whatever you want to talk about he can talk about it and I know make it and myself especially over the years have done a lot of pods with Steve you know it's nice enough that that Scott van Pelt allows him to do this stuff with us because if I had a guy like Steve I'd be like no he can't do anything with anybody else but I think it also speaks to how cool Scott is but Steve, Scott, guys like that and Ryan, who was at the fucking, the fucking Airbnb a lot, Rissillo were some of the guys that gave me a start in this thing. And so, um, and that
Starting point is 01:43:04 was when I was playing like, hey, come on our show. You're going to want to do this stuff after you retire. You're going to want to have a plan. Like, they kind of put me on the map as far as like being on the microphone and 10 years later, basically, uh, from the first time I ever started doing stuff with those guys to think that now I get to do shows with Steve on a regular basis. I just got so much appreciation for Steve and those guys. So all y'all, man, great year. Aiden in the back, cutting up socials, doing the whole thing. Man.
Starting point is 01:43:32 And shout out to the chat. The chat, bro. The chat. You guys are so consistent. Yeah, chat. We love you guys. Yeah, chat. I really do love y'all, man.
Starting point is 01:43:43 I do. And I hope you understand that, like, throughout the year, there might be some things you all disagree with. And I know we get some hateful. comments that are like, yeah, you're doing, you're an asshole, you don't know what you're talking about. I disagree, yada, yada, and we're going to be right and we're going to be wrong. But I promise you, I don't have a big ego in this thing. All I care about is serving you honest, authentic content where we're really doing the work. And so as long as you know that, there are going to be times
Starting point is 01:44:11 that you think, you know, or takes your shit and you disagree and we get things wrong. And there's going to be times where I look in the chat and I'm like, this is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever read. But we're in it together. We really are. And I hope that in 15 years, you guys can be like, hey, I was in the chat back when that show was like, you know, not a big deal. And with your help, we'll be a big deal. We'll get to do more flowrider.
Starting point is 01:44:35 I was in the chat when Nate said, and Devante Adams? You POS! Damn, no one wants Aaron Rogers. Poor Aaron. I'm just kind of mad we couldn't get a voice out of Chris today because that's the highlight of my week. every week. Oh, oh, I can't do it. Oh, Jalen hurts.
Starting point is 01:44:56 It can't get it done for the eagle. Oh, you're hating on the Chiefs, even though last year you're the only guy to pick him to win the Super Bowl. Oh. How soon they forget. Oh. I'm just calling it how I see it.
Starting point is 01:45:12 And I appreciate y'all. All you all, so great year. Hey, big ups to you, big dog. Oh, yeah. Love y'all. All starts a drink. Love y'all. We got the best in the business.
Starting point is 01:45:23 Buzz mumbling, half-hearted compliments. Fuck him. Bose in his draws, too. I don't know how I feel about that. He's in his underwear? I got short time, dude. Well, Bo's about to just go rip a couple garage beers by the beach. Well, I'll tell you what I'm about to do.
Starting point is 01:45:39 I'm about to rip a cone if somebody has any, does anybody have anything? Duh. Yes. And I'm going to take a bunch of edibles and getting this damn in this SUV and ride in the back seat until about 11 p.m. Go to inside the NFL. And then I'm going to take the Rip Van Winkle nap when I get home tomorrow night.
Starting point is 01:45:57 And we'll be ready to go. I don't know when we'll be back into a regular cadence, but we will have content for you served up. Wait, imagine you taking that edible and you're going to sleep in your car and you wake up and you turn around in your same parking lot you like it. So tell this.
Starting point is 01:46:13 That's what happened to me. After getting from New Orleans to Charlotte, First off, get dropped off in C20. He's going to way down the year. You get dropped off in C20 and you got to go all the way to E40. Says the guy who loves walking around the city of New Orleans. Did they tell you when to go? Less than 55 minutes.
Starting point is 01:46:35 You don't get it. I'm just, no, they did. People were getting out the way. I was running through with my beautiful Yeti bag that is, it's nice to run with. It's easy. Easy running bag. Yep. So I make it to this flight.
Starting point is 01:46:50 Thank God. I'm on the flight. I'm an edible in from the last flight and I'm like, yes, last stretch home. This flight is 50 minutes tops. Can't wait to get back to my daughter in Charlottesville. Get on this plane. Go to sleep. Wake up an hour later. We're taxiing, but not in Charlottesville. We're taxiing in Charlotte because they took us off the runway because there was an issue with the plane. They take us off the plane. Everyone's, asking what's the issue, what's the issue. They won't let us know. Mind you, everyone's near the window and there's about four maintenance vans coming up and they're just like, oh, they're fixing whatever's going on and you guys will be back on the plane.
Starting point is 01:47:33 So the next thing is it's like, you expect me to get back on this plane while I see all these people working on it after you just took me off the thing. Especially with everything that's been going on. And I'll tell you this, what's really funny about this is on the ride home, I was telling them the story about
Starting point is 01:47:48 when I tricked you and told you we were in a different city because he woke up and where were we at that point? Do you even remember? We were here, but we were coming from maybe Tennessee.
Starting point is 01:48:00 We had a stopover in Missouri. Yeah, to refuel. And I told him we were home. Oh, my God. And he was like, man, he woke up and we were getting out to refuel and he's like, this airport looks a little different.
Starting point is 01:48:12 Man, he got so fucking mad at me. That's one of the most mad you've ever been to me. So to think that happened to you again, more of the story is like keep your eyes open but I made it home it was great but the last few of the year it goes to Buffalo Wild Wings it's the goddamn Super Bowl
Starting point is 01:48:32 it's the goddamn Super Bowl bro like if you're not prepared to make extra wings for the Super Bowl what are you guys doing as a company like honestly I ordered wings at 530 you know when they canceled my order at 8 p.m. bro 8 fucking PM
Starting point is 01:48:50 They cancel my order Buffalo Wild Wings You Pio ass Bro, 20 wings It wasn't even a crazy order 20 wings isn't crazy They were big They're all flat
Starting point is 01:48:59 Mango Harbinero That's all I wanted That is all I wanted For the game, bro That's all And shout out to Marisco's I had to go with them My food came
Starting point is 01:49:10 I had to go with a seafood pasta And we play the fucking orchestra Yeah can we do Man Like It's just Buffalo Walskos I couldn't believe it, man.
Starting point is 01:49:20 I could not believe it. So much for that B-D-W deal. You know what's at the end of this thing? A free meal at Moresco's. That's what he's doing. promo code Dr. FAC. It was crazy. Hey, locals.
Starting point is 01:49:33 Oh, anything about merch? Yeah, we dropped. Aiden. Sites live, dude. Tell the people. I decided against putting that t-shirt on the website because it features two role players from one Super Bowl and two of the best players on the planet.
Starting point is 01:49:48 from the other people. That's funny. Well, I don't know that everybody gets the joke, just dealing with the chat. You know what I mean? Intentionally a joke,
Starting point is 01:49:54 but it's a joke. Okay. Well, so I didn't. You and then like the biggest fucking dogs of all time for the Eagles. Right. And then us.

Starting point is 01:50:18 Chris, tell them about one of the biggest unhinged things we're doing in a little bit. A little soft teaser. What is it? Jumping out of a plane. Oh, we are jumping out of a plane. We're jumping and we're parachuting, a static line parachute.

Starting point is 01:50:53 And then the other day he texts me. So what are you thinking about this? Because, dude, I was sitting down at lunch and everyone's like, oh, yeah. My girlfriend was like, you're jumping out of a plane. I was like, yeah. She's like, it's like a tandem jump, right? And I'm like, you just say girlfriend? Whoa.
