You don't need to listen closely.
Just let the words pass through.
Like soft background music,
relaxing feelings deep in your belly now.
Letting you do deep as you get even more comfortable in the bed.
As the bed beneath you becomes even more supportive.
holding you effortlessly.
Your head feels so cozy and comfortable on the pillow.
And this relaxation feeling
flows from your stomach into your pelvis and hips.
Your hips releasing.
It moves into your legs.
Ravity seems to be helping you.
Sink deep or into the bed.
There's nothing you need to hold onto right now
as the feeling flows into your life.
into your lower legs, into your toes, so you feel totally relaxed.
Tips of your toes.
As you imagine yourself, slowly drifting downward, not falling, just gently sinking
while you're being lowered into a place of deep comfort.
You might imagine floating slowly down through warm air or sinking into a
calm, quiet space, or even descending a few soft, deeper, feeling more, beginning to blur,
seven, feeling slow and steady, muscles softening without effort, you're safe and
supported, your mind no longer needing to plan, your body resting more neat too.
the body deeply relaxing
when you don't need to think about work
you don't need to rehearse tomorrow
there will be time for that later
for now you are allowed to rest
as you rest here
calm and supported
is safe now
to gently acknowledge
what may have been weighing on you
for many people.
The quiet of the night
is when thoughts about work
begin to surface.
The conversations
that haven't happened yet.
The responsibilities,
the sense of pressure
that can feel heavier
when everything else goes still.
If this is familiar,
know that you're not alone in it
and there is nothing wrong
with you feeling this way
stress around work
doesn't mean you're failing
it often means you care
it means your mind has been trying to protect you
by staying alert
even when you're tired
tonight you don't need to argue with these thoughts
You don't need to analyze them
or make them go away
You can simply notice them
And allow them to be here
Without engaging them
Imagine these work
Rated Thoughts
As quiet shapes at a distance
You can see them
But they don't need your attention right now
They can remain in the background
As your body continues to rest
tears any tension in your body
in your chest, your stomach, your shoulders
and if you notice them, well work
allow your breath to deepen and soften,
exhale to relax those areas
feeling gently and slowly releasing.
Tension on the exhale.
There is no need to prepare yourself
for tomorrow night.
Your mind may want to rehearse or predict
Worst case scenarios
This don't happen
The hardly happen
The eyes being stressed
Is it important anymore
You think about previous jobs
You don't worry about old jobs
Because they're in the past
Just like you won't worry about your current one
Worry and stress is fleeting
It will go
Goes and it changes
especially in night
you can quietly say to yourself
I don't need to solve things right now
there's nothing I can actually need to now
worry right now does not
help settle gently
without forcing it
if worries arise about returning to work
about coping
just allow these thoughts
to float by
they don't need you
You don't need them.
You can let them pass like clouds,
drifting slowly across the night sky.
