Starting point is 00:00:02 Hello and a welcome to Sleep Cove, the place to come for a great night's sleep. Please listen to this recording in a place where you can safely go to sleep. Tonight we're going to be doing a sleep hypnosis episode about controlling your anxiety, and you will be in control at all times. This is a fast process and you will feel happy and very confident that you are now in control. We'll go to a special place where anxiety does not exist and we'll learn to go there whenever we need to. And let's begin.
Starting point is 00:00:44 You can close your eyes now and begin breathing deeply and slowly before you let go completely and go into a deeply relaxed state just let yourself listen carefully to everything I have to say is going to happen automatically so you don't need to think about that now and you will have no conscious control
Starting point is 00:01:18 over what happens the muscles in and around your eyes will relax all by themselves as you continue breathing easily and freely without thinking about it you will soon enter a peaceful, restful state without any effort. There is nothing important for your conscious mind to do.
Starting point is 00:01:54 There is nothing really important except the activities of your subconscious mind. And that can be just as automatic as dreaming. And you know how easily you can forget your dreams when you awaken. you are responding very well. Without noticing it, you have already altered your rate of breathing. Stress is dissolving from your body. As you continue to take big breath in, you are breathing deeply and much more easily and freely.
Starting point is 00:02:45 And you are beginning to drift off into a relaxed, you can really enjoy relaxing more and more. Your subconscious mind will listen to every word I say and it keeps becoming less important for you to consciously listen to my voice. Your subconscious mind can hear even if I whisper. You are continuing to drift into a more detached date as you examine privately in your own mind.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Secrets, feelings, sensations, and behaviour you didn't know you had. At the same time, completely letting go, your own mind is solving that problem. At your own pace, just as rapidly as it feels you are ready. you continue becoming more relaxed and comfortable as you sit there with your eyes close as you experience that deep in income you don't have to move anything but this time is for you
Starting point is 00:04:24 you can address things if they really need to be addressed but let this time be for you and your own inner mind can respond to my voice and you will be pleasantly surprised with your continuous progress as you are getting
Starting point is 00:04:49 much closer to becoming deeply relaxed and you are beginning to realize that you don't care whether or not you are going into deep relaxation being in the state enables you to experience
Starting point is 00:05:06 comfort and relaxation here listening to my voice, it's very enjoyable, very pleasant, calm, peaceful experience. It seems natural to listen to my voice. And you may decide to continue doing it if you enjoy this experience. Listening to my voice is a very enjoyable, very pleasant, calm, peaceful and a completely relaxing experience. It feels natural to include hypnosis in your future bedtime routine if you want it. Every time you listen to my voice, it becomes more enjoyable and you continue experiencing more benefits.
Starting point is 00:06:08 So you really enjoy it tonight. And you will always enjoy the sensations of comfort, of peacefulness, of calmness and all the other sensations that come automatically from this amazing and wonderful experience. You have become really happy as you have decided to continue to listen to my voice, continuing experiencing progressive understanding on your part. You are learning something about yourself. You are developing your own techniques, of therapy. Without knowing you are developing them, you can have it as a surprise sooner or later. A very pleasant surprise and imagine yourself in a place that you like very much.
Starting point is 00:07:18 By a lake or perhaps you are floating gently on a sailboat on a peaceful lake and you are continuing to relax even more now. This is your own world. you like very much. You are going to find that any time you want to spend a few minutes by yourself, relaxing and feeling very comfortable and serene. You can automatically go back to this feeling. You're experiencing now. You can put yourself into this world any time you like. There are times when you will want this serene feeling. it's yours whenever you want it, continue enjoying this pleasant experience as your subconscious mind is receiving everything I tell you will be pleased by the way you automatically respond
Starting point is 00:08:40 to the things I am saying you sit here. You take deep breath and you imagine that every muscle in your body is being becoming relaxed, loose and you feel so good as this relaxing feeling washes over you from your head all the way down to the tips of your toe. And this relaxation feeling flows through you from the top of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes. And the feeling washes your body from the inside. removing any stress, tension or uncomfortableness.
Starting point is 00:09:44 And it feels so good and you feel so amazing. This muscle is becoming relaxed as that feeling flows, relaxing you in your special place, removing anything you don't want. Body is relaxed. So let's relax the mind. That's really what we want to do. When your mind's relaxed, you really
Starting point is 00:10:28 can achieve anything you can think of. Within certain restrictions of course, ask you to slowly begin counting out loud backwards, starting from the number 100. After each number, simply say to yourself, deeper relax. After each number, double your mental and physical relaxation. your mind will grow twice as calm, still and serene and your body will feel so relaxed. Now if you do this, you'll discover by the time you just say a couple of numbers, it doesn't take long. You've relaxed your mind and body so beautifully and so completely.
Starting point is 00:11:29 You've actually relaxed all the rest of the number. So let's begin, slowly counting out loud, backwards starting from the number 100 and saying the words deeply relaxed. 100, deeply relaxed. That's good. 99, deeply relaxed. 98, deeply relaxed. These numbers begin to grow dim and distance. the numbers you're seeing in your mind's eye.
Starting point is 00:12:15 They're not important. 97, deeper, relaxed. And when you're ready, just push them out of your mind. 96, deeply relaxed. Now push them all out. And just tell them to leave and they will go. And just let them go and they will be gone before the numbers are gone. You can begin.
Starting point is 00:12:47 But to make it safe, let's look at number 95. If it's still there in your active mind, deeper, relax. Now going to learn the art of controlling anxiety. As a result of this session, you will no longer suffer from anxiety and you will be in control at all times. You will feel happy and so confident
Starting point is 00:13:50 that you are now. What I would like you to do right now. is to use your imagination, turn a scene in your mind, to visualize yourself at a wonderful place. A place where there is no anxiety whatsoever. It could be some place that you have been before. Or if you can't think of an anxiety free place,
Starting point is 00:14:28 you may go ahead and create one in your mind. It can be a fantasy place. place or just visualize it. Maybe you can see it clearly in your mind. If you can't imagine it, just think about it and the same purpose as being so you can even surround yourself with things and activities that you find extremely enjoyable. Without any stress at all, take a few moments and create this scene in your mind as soon as you have. As soon as you have, have this scene in your mind. Acknowledge this.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Just a few words. Describe or tell me what the scene is that you are imagining right now and acknowledge this yourself. Now visualize that place and see it very clear your mind. It's a wonderful place, is your comfortable place right now. I would like you to take a deep breath in. Allow yourself to feel twice as comfortable
Starting point is 00:16:15 and wonderful as you do right now. Take your second breath. As you exhale, allow yourself to relax even. Your body feels wonderful. Your mind muscles feel relaxed and at ease. So calm and in your mind's eye, you realize that you are in a place
Starting point is 00:16:49 where nothing affects you. There is no anxiety. Where you are complete. Now commit this place to memory. every detail, because in the future, any time you find yourself confronted by what used to be an anxiety, provoking situation, or any kind of stress whatsoever, all you need to do is take three deep breath, allow yourself to remember, and come back to this wonderful anxiety-free, stress-free place, that you have created for yourself, a place of wonder and relaxation,
Starting point is 00:17:41 which you are still experiencing. Let's go ahead and right now, try to understand the concept. Think of something or a situation that may have caused you a small amount of anxiety in the past. And as soon as you feel that a little bit of anxiety, acknowledge it, take a deep breath and just let the negative flow away. Your second deep breath.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Love to feel wonderful. Coming back to your special place where anxiety doesn't exist. It's just peaceful. A place where you can just relax and be at ease on your head. A wonderful place. This is your place. A special place. imagined or real
Starting point is 00:18:46 it can be anywhere or any place and anxiety does not exist here and if you are anxious in the future you can imagine yourself back here and be anxiety free so take a deep breath and just allow any negativity to flow away and take a second deep breath
Starting point is 00:19:17 and allow yourself to feel wonderful back into your special place and you take your third deep breath and allow yourself to relax even more completely and now you are totally anxiety free and it feels so great
Starting point is 00:19:40 it feels so good and you can imagine coming back here again feeling anxiety free and take a deep breath in and you visualise your special and safe place and you go back there
Starting point is 00:20:02 and all anxiety is dropped away your anxiety floats away like clean wet laundry on a washing night getting drier and drier your anxiety just goes away from you drifts the way
Starting point is 00:20:26 and because you have experienced an anxiety free special place you can come back here at any time in your mind's eye, in your imagination, and relax and be at peace. Because this place is just for you, no one else. When you do wake up, you'll wake feeling fresh and without anxiety. And if it does return, you've learned to go to your special place where anxiety does not exist anymore.
Starting point is 00:21:12 And you can access this whenever you want to.
