Starting point is 00:02:12 and ready to face the day full of energy and positivity and in a naturally positive mood. I'm Christopher Fittson from the Sleep Cove podcast and I'll guide you into this healing journey inward where the mind can soften and relax and the body can recharge and replenish naturally.
Starting point is 00:02:41 You're here because something inside of you is ready, ready to let go of the exhaustion, the heaviness, and the overwhelm that's been weighing you down. And tonight you'll allow yourself the beautiful gift of deep rest, and recovery. So let's begin the journey. Already sense that this process, this change, doesn't require effort. Hypnosis is never something to be false. And all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. It's something allowed. Something you ease into, like sleep. whipping into a warm bath or into a cozy bed.
Starting point is 00:03:43 And the truth is, your mind already knows how to do this, to drift inward, to let go, and to come home to itself. So for now, you don't have to do anything at all. Just allow yourself to settle. know your body find its most comfortable position and if your eyes haven't already begun to soften and close they may do so naturally or they may stay gently open for a few more moments
Starting point is 00:04:25 as I said all hypnosis is self-hypnosis all you need to do is true your own subconscious and simply relax, listen and allow yourself to drift. So get so comfortable on the surface of the bed and sink down and as you continue resting in this moment. Your breathing may become a little slower now, a little bit deeper. You may begin to notice the gentle rhythm of your own body, a natural calming wave I want you to take and I'll guide you through these. You're going to make sure that the exhale is longer than the inhale. And also notice that you're breathing from the belly area, the upper chest area.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Upper chest breathing, upper chest movement is a sign of stress. So concentrate on your belly, moving gently in and out. So maybe place one hand on your chest with this first deep breath. Breathe in through the belly, making sure the chest is still. And then relax. To take another deep relaxing breath. the stress out on the exhale. That feels so good for the final breath.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Let's breathe in to the count of five, hold for the count of two, and the relax out for the count of seven. And let me guide you through this now. Three, two, three, resting in this moment. Your breath becomes a little slow enough. a little bit deeper with a gentle rhythm of your own body. Like a calming wave with every breath in, you're inviting and calm with every breath out.
Starting point is 00:08:04 You're letting go of tension holds you. It supports you completely. The pillow feels so comfortable beneath your head and neck and you can move around and get more comfortable with each movement if you wish. This time is just for you. You don't need to do anything except listen and you may notice
Starting point is 00:08:57 there's a subtle sense of warmth where your body meets the softness of the bed sinking further down. And you may think if you are beginning to relax now, Imagine how much these relaxing experiences will double, the more I listen, the more I let go, embracing relaxing sensations and comfortable feelings like this bed and the sound of my voice goes with you into deep relaxation as you calm and relax reality. The service system begins to settle and realise that the muscles in your face are starting to soften as a relaxation feeling flows into your head and face.
Starting point is 00:10:14 The feeling flows into your forehead, smoothing out, or the tight lines in your forehead into your forehead, into your eyes and around your eyes. relaxing all the tiny little muscles here. You feel so good, so amazing, sensation feeling, moves into your cheeks, your jaw, your body knows how to relax, without any effort and the gentle relaxation
Starting point is 00:10:58 begins to spread through your neck and your neck and your neck, shoulders, letting go of any tension and maybe that feeling travels like warm water, pouring down through your arms, into your hands and fingers, and when ready, back up to your shoulders, relaxing every muscle in contact with, and just letting you relax as you breathe deeply. This wave of Calm, moves downward, softening your chest, releasing your stomach. The whole torso to in wind with your stomach muscles, relaxing more for you to do deep, relaxing natural breath.
Starting point is 00:12:34 That's longer on the exhale than the inhale. Every muscle, the relaxation feeling is encounters, relaxes you deeper, relaxing your mind and muscles into your pelvis and into your feet station move into your toes, relaxing feeling, moves up and down your body, feeling so good, doubling your relaxation, relaxing internally and externally, continues to rest, Your awareness begins to drift somewhere else, floating gently into your own in the world, because your subconscious knows for stillness for renewal. You are safe, you are supported.
Starting point is 00:14:34 You are slowly slipping into that deep and nourishing space where true rest begins. notice within your mind or picture forming of new energy and healthier outlooks building within you. Nice picture growing of healing and regeneration. It might begin as a soft glow by the first morning light gently rising on the horizon of your inner world or a quiet vibration beginning to move through you. You imagine it as a stream of gentle golden light flowing in through the breath and as you breathe in this light fills you and as you breathe out you release what no longer serves you giving you health
Starting point is 00:16:16 energy, peace and renewal. That's right. See this inner energy as a fountain of life bubbling up from deep within, restoring and nourishing your body's systems in the most natural, effortless way. or perhaps you feel it as a quiet hum, a soft resonance, turning your body like an instrument, lining your mind, your breath, your nervous system, into perfect harmony. And in this moment, I wonder if you can imagine yourselves,
Starting point is 00:17:20 drinking in this life-force like dry soil receiving rain like tired ribs absorbing deep mineral-rich water from the earth you are being replenished even without needing to know exactly how just asleep renews the body the dreams refresh the mind this healing rest is doing its work part of you is already recovery
Starting point is 00:18:11 will continue to guide the rest of you gently and completely deeper into rest deeper into healing into the safety of your inner sanctuary and as you breathe in this light fills you
Starting point is 00:18:41 and as he breathe out you release what no longer serves you let that light drift through your body now and comforting every cell it touches notice
Starting point is 00:19:04 how it brings with it a sense of quiet renewal your entire being is recharging effortless restoration happening deep within simply allow that brightness
Starting point is 00:19:28 to move wherever it's needed gently reminding your body how to feel alive once again you perhaps go outside of your body and observe yourself becoming more positive waking up tomorrow
Starting point is 00:19:54 and having more energy and facing the day with so much positivity and energy tidness and fatigue of God and have been replaced with sublime energy
Starting point is 00:20:16 this light now spreads outward becoming a soft field of colour and warmth gently pulsing with calm Each wave of light brings more peace, more relaxation, more ease. You can almost sense the gentle hum of life's energy, resonating within you, steady, soothing, healing. You notice how your body feels lighter.
Starting point is 00:21:13 You're floating in the sea of color. The air around you vibrates with calm frequencies, harmonising your fall and slowing everything down. It balances you a little more. Your mind and body into perfect rest. Your nervous system is resetting. Your immune system is listening and your body is returning to the rhythm of renewal. It is always known. had to follow, you are being rebuilt, from the inside out, gently, wisely, completely,
Starting point is 00:22:19 every breath, a deeper current of life moves gently through a steady rhythm of energy that clears, renews and restores might begin to imagine. This flowed, as a quiet tide, cycling endlessly through every channel of your be. Each wave is with it. Positiveity and calm, washing away your tension that once lingered in hidden places as that cleansing current moves. It leaves behind a feeling of lightness and quiet satisfaction. The whole body is sighing in relief
Starting point is 00:23:31 and the deeper walk continues to spread the warmth of healing the warmth of comfort filling every space within you with returning of earth and strength and as that warmth grows you begin to notice a soft
Starting point is 00:24:01 radiant glow emerging from deep inside, quite light, that belongs entirely to you. This inner glow is a visible sign of change. Your vitality rekindling, your energy, reorganizing, your system finding balance.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Once again, your reserves refilling. You can sunset now. A magnificent inner brightness, peaceful yet alive, moving through you like sunlight, through clear water. Every breath deepens the process every moment, expands your capacity for peace. Your body knows what to do to cleanse. to restore, to renew, and you can rest in the certainty that everything within you is healing now. Now as this gentle wave of calm continues to move through you. You may begin to sense a kind of resonance, a subtle frequency,
Starting point is 00:26:00 that seems to pulse in harmony with your breath, most like your body is becoming an instrument tuning itself as if each breath creates a tone of healing each exhale releases another
Starting point is 00:26:33 tone of release and you might feel that soothing current that golden light vibrating softly through your face now loosening your jaw, softening the brow, relaxing all the small, often forgotten about muscles of the scalp. Your entire head feels light, open, weightless, as if it's floating gently on a cloud of ease and with each passing moment.
Starting point is 00:27:23 the relaxation spreads effortlessly silently instinctively like your nervous system has just remembered exactly what it feels like
Starting point is 00:27:44 to not hold on and to let go completely and as it does reaching the roots of your being, flowing down through the neck, rolling into the shoulders and upper back, entangling, their not sword fatigue and forgotten strain until it feels like you are finally resting inside yourself. Being safe, supported and home. And this wall, this hum of restoration, moves further down now through your arms into your palms and fingertips
Starting point is 00:28:55 and your body is receiving an infusion current of vitality that says it's okay to rest to heal to let the body take over and do what it knows how to do your body has been healing has been bored to your chest and core creating room begins to move within like a gentle current. Cycling and the little positivity traces of tension and you feel this wave of renewal travelling through every pathway and channel inside you
Starting point is 00:30:51 washing clear all that has grown heavy or tired you can almost sense the subtle cleansing taking place is streaming through fine threads of gold, releasing, what no longer serves you, and replacing it with calm strength and this deep wall continues to spread the soft wave of calm, moves lower, flowing through your hips and thighs, loosening, releasing, spreads through the muscles, down through your knees and curves heaviness settles in
Starting point is 00:31:59 every part of you sovens part of the day is replaced with energy for the next day sensation drifts into your ankles down into your feet and toes into your body feels gently suspended
Starting point is 00:32:33 safe and grounded and deeply at ease there's no need to Hold on. Just let go. Letting this moment carry you deeper into healing, into rest, into peace you feel reborn like a blank slate. It's like your batteries are becoming funny recharged. The energy is within you. Recharging you. and returning all your positivity, energy is returned to your body and ensure you'll get many good nights rest, as you can keep this recharge going. Will you listen to this recording? Starting point is 00:34:05 Your body settles, continues to drift, and you image. begins to take form within your inner world just beyond the edge of thought something gentle begins to appear a staircase not a staircase
Starting point is 00:34:37 made of stone wood or steel but one made of soft luminous clouds being a glowing whisp of light and energy, suspended in mid-air, as if resting in the arms of the sky. The staircase seems endless, peaceful and welcoming. Between worlds of waking and dreaming. Air here feels calm and pure, touched with the scent of rain and light.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Every surface glows softly like a moonlight, reflected on still water. You notice how the staircase seems to stretch endlessly in both directions. One path leads upward, winding gracefully into the open skies toward toward the horizon. the horizon of dreams and higher awareness into the vast open sky where the stars are beginning to shimmer while the other path gently curves downwards spiraling into the comforting embrace on the earth down into warmth, stability and nature's embrace far below. A place where your body can lie in deep relaxation. And as you stand,
Starting point is 00:36:52 and this beautiful centre point, we're up and down, meet in perfect stillness, you realize something quite curious. You can take both paths at once, and you find yourself standing upon one of these luminous steps. The clouds move slowly around you, curling and drifting in warm patterns, as if breathing in harmony with you.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Part of you, light and expansive begins to rise, climbing the soft upper staircase, step by step, through layers of light, of clarity of freedom. Each step fills you with more insight, more understanding, a quiet remembering of who you truly are. You can feel your mind, expanding into the air above, becoming calm, weightless and free. Meanwhile, another part of you. equally important begins to descend, floating downward into the earth's gentle pull, down through the coveting clouds, into deeper warmth, deeper stillness, floating lower into the mist, returning to the deep, resting body. It's as though your spirit and your body are dancing in rhythm, rising into the heavens. They are the sinking into safety and sleep, into earth's and bruce.
Starting point is 00:39:20 It's a surrender into rest, into trust, into healing. These two journeys may seem opposite. You realise now they are perfectly. the higher you rise in spirit, the deeper you sink in safety, expensive. Your insight becomes the more grounded your body feels as above. Say below and you allow it. You allow these two parts of you, the rising mind and the resting body to move in harmony. synchronising in their own natural rhythm, fairness floats upward into luminous space
Starting point is 00:40:35 as the body sinks downward into sacred stillness, space in between. Bridge, between Earth and sky, the centre of transformation, and as both staircases carry you now. In their gentle, spiraling rhythm, you feel something incredible awaking within you, a new alignment, or remembering of your deep inner power connection to both the stars above and the roots below. From this place of perfect balance, your healing accelerates, your energy returns, your spirit
Starting point is 00:41:44 It renews and your body prepares to fall even more deeply into peace and somewhere within you of your deeper mind. That understands healing, the ancient wisdom that has always guided your body back to better. That wisdom now begins to stir and flow. You don't have to think about it. You don't have to direct it. It knows exactly what to do. Each breath you take becomes a gentle signal.
Starting point is 00:42:56 A reminder to your body that it is safe to restore itself and the breath draws in clean, renewing energy and breathing out to release the last remnants of fatigue. the faint echoes of strain and effort. It's like your body has entered a workshop of peace where muscles soften nerves calm. The rhythm of your heart slows to a perfect place of rest. This is where healing happens, silently, naturally without any effort. And as the body repairs and rebuilds itself,
Starting point is 00:43:54 The mind begins to open into gentle dreamlike visions The visions of the staircase are still there Where the higher part of you At the top of the silver clouds Has gathered Thought and imagination in the higher realm Collecting clarity
Starting point is 00:44:21 Hope and renewal And the physical body That drifted further down downward, collected the most peaceful nurturing rest and both movements of rising and falling on the staircase perfectly in making you exhale your body, your mind, your spirit, recharging you completely. You are resting within your own peaceful wealth, breath, and light in your sleep. You can be both ascending and sinking. You can be light and grounded all at once. The deeper you go, the lighter you feel, the higher you rise.
Starting point is 00:45:45 The more deeply you relax, in perfect balance. And somewhere in between, a doorway opens, inviting you into a healing. when you notice the landscape, merging and fall. You've entered a hidden world that exists, and you see that you're standing on the edge of a vast, serene a mountain valley. The air is crisp and cool, and the sky above glows with soft blues and pinks of twilight. You can hear the faint trickle of flowing water before you lies apart. winding through tall grasses, meeting towards sanctuary.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Place of quiet, ancient healing. You take a slow breath and begin to warm and folding into perfect harmony. Our silver birch trees, you feel the evening breeze, the tail trunks of the trees, shine like moonlight, fresh sense are in the air, and in the distance you see see a gentle glow and you move towards it and soon you are standing now at the entrance of your own replenishing century. A place your deeper mind has built from every memory of safety. It feels ancient and it feels like home and you follow the path formed by this sound.
Starting point is 00:48:59 You follow the path until you arrive. live at a hidden pool, a basin of perfectly clear water. Warmed by hidden springs, deep within the earth, the surface of the pool glows softly, not just reflecting light, but radiating it, and this warm spring, this warm water has arisen from the heart of the earth. With a gentle steam, drifting lazily across its surface, carrying with it the scent of minerals, and the feeling of renewal. The water looks alive, shimmering with subtle colours, though every droplet has healing potential
Starting point is 00:50:07 without even thinking you step closer, you approach the edge and kneel beside the ball. The surface is still. It reflects the sky like glass, soft binks and golds. Dancing on the ripples when you touch the water is perfectly calm, perfectly soothing and you dip a hand in, and it feels warm, soothing and effortless, and then slowly you release your entire body into the pool and the water embraces you like liquid,
Starting point is 00:51:07 and the moment your body meets the water, the waves of calm, radiate through every part of you, wraps around you like a silken blanket as though the water is alive, an intelligent, loving energy, embracing you with understanding and care, and you can decide to settle in or float effortlessly when you're held by the gentle of restoration stillness seems to move through your skin into your muscles
Starting point is 00:52:19 into your nerves and even deeper into your cells and into your bones and you can sink or float effortlessly in the spring of restoration which is now order to repulse
Starting point is 00:52:45 the stillness as you settle in seems to move through your skin, into your muscles, into your nerves, deeper, into your cells and into your bones, into the memory of what it means to be whole. You can feel the water, drawing out or tension, fatigue and emotional weight, washing it away like sand, slipping back into the sea and at the same time it fills you with something new something clear
Starting point is 00:53:37 something vital something infinitely gentle but incredibly powerful you sense that this water knows you it's as if it has always been
Starting point is 00:53:57 waiting for you knowing exactly what to offer, exactly how to restore you in this pool. Time doesn't seem to matter. You are simply here. Floating, breathing, receiving every breath you take now, draws in more of this healing current. each exhale releases more of what you know
Starting point is 00:54:38 longer need and you may think of the water might hum not in sound but as a feeling deep inside a vibration of harmony of your nervous system remembering

Starting point is 00:55:48 And you, flowing back into them, you were being replenished. You were being renewed as you drift to the water moves in darker patterns. Over your skin, each ripple seems to draw out the weariness of the day, washing away fatigue, and replacing it with radiant vitality, every cell, every nerve, every muscle, responds to the water's message. You can rest now, reaching the bones, the joints, the quiet spaces of the body that hold into and wide. Divines becomes light of yourself, softening completely, part of the water itself.
