Hello and welcome to Sleepcove.
And welcome to these affirmations for relaxation and stress relief.
There'll be a short relaxation section at the beginning, and then you'll hear these affirmations to help you relax and salute tonight.
I really hope you enjoy it, and let's begin.
Welcome.
These affirmations are here to help you really stress, quiet or thoughts, and reconnect with a sense of calm.
You can listen at any time.
or the day or night, whenever you need a few peaceful moments for yourself.
For now, allow everything else to wait.
You do not need to solve anything.
You don't need to make any decisions.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
So simply relax.
Simply settle into a comfortable position and allow my voice to guard.
you. Take a slow, gentle breath in through your nose and then breathe out softly. Breathe again,
breathe in slowly. And as you breathe out, allow your shoulders to soften. Let your hands become
loose and comfortable. And clench your jaw, soften the muscles around your eyes.
Allow your entire body to receive the message that it's safe to relax.
So take another calm breath in and release it slowly.
There is no need to force your breathing.
Simply allow each breath to arrive naturally,
noticing the gentle rhythm of breathing in and breathing out.
each breath
creates a little more space within you
each exhalation
allows you to release
some of the pressure you've been carrying
and you can repeat
each affirmation silently in your mind
as you relax further and further down
whenever you notice that your mind has wandered
gently return your attention to the sound of my voice
You may simply listen and allow all the words that settle within you
and take a slow, deep breath in, release and relax.
And as he breathe out so quietly in your mind,
I'm present in this moment.
I give myself permission to pause.
I give myself permission
to slow down
I do not have to rush
I do not have to carry everything at once
this moment belongs to me
I'm allowed to take care of myself
I'm allowed to rest and recover
I'm allowed to step away from pressure
I'm allowed to experience peace
and take another slow comforting breath
as you breathe out, imagine the tension in your body,
beginning to loosen.
There may be still thoughts moving through your mind.
And that's all right.
You don't need to stop them.
You don't need to follow them.
You can allow each thought to pass without becoming involved in it,
like a cloud moving across, an open sky.
Where each thought can come and go, you remain here.
Steady and calm beneath at all, repeating quietly within.
My thoughts can come and go.
I do not have to respond to every thought.
I can observe my thoughts.
Without being controlled by them, I am more than this temporary feeling.
I am more than the stress I have experienced.
stress as something I feel
it is not who I am
I can let this moment
to be simple
I can take life
one breath at a time
I can take today
one moment at a time
for now one breath is enough
breathe in gently
and breathe out slowly
and now your attention
to move down through your body
noticing your forehead becoming smoother relaxed notice the area around your eyes beginning to soften
let your cheeks relax let your jaw loosen and allow your tongue to rest comfortably
feel your neck becoming softer and allow that softness
to flow down into your shoulders
so your shoulders
don't need to hold everything
they can lower now
they can release the weight
that they have been carrying
so I repeat silently
release the tension in my face
I release the tension in my jaw
I release the tension in my neck
I release the tension in my shoulders
My body knows how to soften
My body knows how to relax
I listen to what my body needs
And I treat my body with patience
I treat myself with kindness
I'm becoming comfortable with every breath
of ease
To travel down through your arms
Past your elbows
Through your forearms
into your wrists
your hands and your fingers
let your hands rest completely
you don't need to hold on to them so tiny
you can loosen your grip
you can release what no longer needs your attention
and repeat quietly within
release what I cannot control
I focus on what I can control
I choose where I place my energy
I do not need to carry other people
emotions. I do not need to take responsibility for everything. I can care without becoming
overwhelmed. I can help others while still caring for myself. Needs are important. My
my wellbeing matters. It is safe for me to set boundaries. It is safe for me to say no when I need to.
It is safe for me to protect my peace and so take another calming breath in
and let it leave your body slowly and feel the gentle movement of your chest
noticing your breathing without trying to change it
allowing your chest to become open and comfortable
letting the muscles around your ribs soften,
having your stomach to relax.
There is no need to hold your self.
often. There is no need to brace for what might happen in this moment you can let go and repeat
silently. I am safe in the present moment. I release the need to prepare for every possibility.
Release fear about things that have not happened. I trust myself to respond. When the time comes,
I do not need to have every answer now. I can handle all one.
thing. At a time, I'm capable. I am resourceful. I have moved through difficult moments
before. I can move through this moment too. I trust in my ability to cope. I trust myself
to make thoughtful decisions. I trust that clarity will come and I do not need to force it
And imagine now that each exhalation carries away a little more tension as you breathe in comfort without pressure.
You breathe in calm and you breathe out worry.
You breathe in space and you breathe out anything.
You know long going to hold.
Continue breathing gently as you repeat.
Calm is available to me.
Peace is available to me.
I can return to this feeling.
Whenever I need it, my breath brings me back.
To the present, my breath reminds me to slow down.
My breath is steady.
My body is supported.
The surface beneath me is holding me.
I do not need to hold myself up alone or myself to be supported.
I allow myself to receive care
I allow myself to receive kindness
I allow my life to feel easier
so bring your awareness now to your back
imagine the muscles on either side of your spine
beginning to release
let your upper back soften
let the middle of your back relax
to become comfortable
any place that has been holding tension
can begin to loosen.
You don't need to make anything happen.
Your only task is to allow, as you repeat quietly, I am letting go.
I release the pressure to be perfect,
the pressure to please everyone.
Unrealistic expectations.
I do not need to prove my worth.
My worth is not measured.
By my productivity, earth is not measured.
By how much I accomplish, I am valuable simply because I'm here.
I'm enough as I am.
I am enough as I am.
I have always been enough.
I deserve the same compassion that I offer to others.
I speak to myself with gentleness.
I choose patience over criticism.
I'm learning to be on my own.
own side. These words are subtle. You do not have to believe every affirmation completely
right away. Simply remain open to the possibility that these words can become more familiar
and natural over time. A small shift is enough. A single peaceful breath is enough. You are not
trying to become a different person. You are reconnecting with the calm that already
exists within you.
So repeat silently.
This is a quiet place within me.
There is steadiness within me.
There is strength within me.
My calm may sometimes feel distant,
but it is never gone.
I can return to myself.
I can begin at any moment.
I do not have to wait for a perfect day.
I can create a peaceful,
moment now. Welcome calm into my mind. I welcome ease into my body. I welcome balance into my life.
Bring your awareness down into your hips and pelvis. And now this part of your body.
To feel heavy and supported, letting go of any tension you may be holding here.
The relaxation to travel down your thighs. Now the muscles soften.
Feel that ease moving through your knees.
and into your lower legs, allowing your ankles to become loose.
Letting the relaxation move all the way into your feet and toes.
Your entire body can become a little quieter, a little softer, a little more at ease,
and repeat within.
My whole body is becoming calm.
I feel grounded.
I feel centered.
I feel supported.
I'm connected to the present moment.
I'm exactly where I need to be right now.
I can slow down without falling behind.
I can pause without feeling guilty.
Taking time for myself is healthy.
Relaxation is a valuable use of my time.
I am restoring my energy.
I am creating space for myself.
I am doing something kind for my mind and body
and take another slow breath.
and release it gently, bringing to mind anything that might have been weighing on you.
You don't need to explore in detail.
Symphony acknowledge that it is there, perhaps as a responsibility,
an unfinished task, a conversation, or uncertainty about the future.
But imagine placing it down for a while.
You are not ignoring it.
You are simply choosing not to carry it.
During these few peaceful moments, it can wait.
You can return to it when you feel calmer and clearer.
And repeat quietly.
Not everything needs my attention right now.
Some things can wait.
I give myself a mission to put this down.
Release the need to solve everything immediately.
I'm creating space between myself and my worries.
I can return to my responsibilities
With a clearer light
Pausing helps me a regain perspective
Calm helps me see things more
Clearly, I make better choices
When I am gentle with myself
I choose to respond rather than react
I can take my time
There is enough time for what truly matters
And allow yourself to notice
how it feels to release urgency
and you don't need to race through this moment
you can move at a calmer
calm a pace
you can move at a kind of pace
be slow and easy
breathing in and now
breathing in calm
and letting up to
repeating silently
I am not in competition with anyone
I'm moving at a pace
that is right for me
My path is my own.
I release comparison.
I release the belief
that I shouldn't be somewhere else.
I honour where I am today.
Acknowledge how far I've come.
I am proud of myself for continuing.
I appreciate the effort I make.
I recognise my strength.
I recognise my progress.
Even small steps are meaningful.
And I'm moving forward in my life.
own way, you're doing so well. Now think of the way you might speak to someone. You truly care
about if you're feeling overwhelmed, you would not demand that they immediately fix everything
you might remind them to breathe. You tell them that they're doing their best, you might
reassure them. They don't have to face everything at once and you offer the same words now.
I am doing the best I can.
It is all right to find some days difficult.
It is all right to feel what I feel.
My emotions are allowed to be here.
I can experience an emotion.
Without becoming lost in it,
every feeling changes with time.
And this feeling will change too.
I am patient with myself.
As I move through it, I meet myself with understanding.
and I choose kindness in this moment
I deserve gentleness
I deserve peace
and take a long comfortable breath in
and allow your exhalation
to be soft and unhurried
imagining your mind becoming still like a light
thoughts may occasionally create small ripples across the surface
but beneath those ripples
The water remains deep and calm
And you don't need to flatter nerve-free ripple
You can simply remember the stillness beneath it
Repeat within
Harm exists beneath my thoughts
I'm not required to follow every worry
I can choose a calm a thought
I can make room for peace
I can let uncertainty exist without fighting it
I release the need to
predict the future. I return to what is here. The breath is here. This moment, you can experience
moments of peace. When things remained unfinished, you can feel grounded even when you do
not know exactly what comes next, you can find steadiness. In change, I feel calm when life is
busy. I create peace within myself. I become more resilient. I become more balance. I respond
to challenges with patience. I give myself time to think. I trust that I can take the next step.
I do not need to see the entire bath. The next step is enough. I can begin with what is in front of me
and I release the rest for now.
I choose simplicity.
I choose steadiness, I choose peace.
As you breathe in and breathe out.
Imagining peace spread through your body.
Peace in your face.
Peace in your shoulders.
Peace in your chest.
Peace in your stomach.
Peace in your hands, peace in your life.
Peace in your life.
Peace.
through you quietly, taking the moments and lessons of peace flowing through you.
And say, I release what has already passed. I do not. Hold on to old moments. I forgive myself
for being human. I release regret with compassion. Today is a new opportunity. This moment is a new
beginning, you allow yourself to begin as many times as you need to, with nothing being wasted,
and every experience that has helped you, you understand it more deeply, allowing every pause
to reconnect with what matters. You feel so good, feeling so amazing, and you accept yourself
and you say I make room for calm. I honour my energy. I do not.
need to feel perfect. I welcome whatever calm is available. To me, I am calm. I am
supportive. I am resilient. I trust myself. I protect my peace. I have done enough.
Take a deep, comfortable sigh for a few seconds of calm.
